The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg is a must-visit for art enthusiasts. The museum houses an extensive collection of surrealist art by Salvador Dalí and is known for its unique building with 900 glass panels. Visitors can also experience Dali 360, a captivating 30-minute projection dome show that brings the artist's works to life.
Out of this world experience. The museum has so much of Dali's artwork, that you feel completely immersed in his creativity and part of his own unique and unfamiliar universe. If you're in the area, I highly recommend setting aside half a day or at least a couple of hours for the visit. Also, the shop has a wide selection of beautiful gifts and souvenirs.
Sam J — Google review
The Dali Museum completely exceeded expectations — surreal, inspiring, and so well presented. You can feel the creativity in every corner, and the staff are super knowledgeable. The building itself is a work of art. Highly recommend taking your time to explore!
Veronika T — Google review
Salvador Dali Museum in St Petersburg was an excellent tribute to a fascinating, perhaps controversial artist. Staff were friendly and helpful, there was plenty of parking during our visit on a Sunday, art displays were neat, and the using the app for the narrated tour is highly recommended. At the time of our visit, there was a very well done tribute to van Gogh which we opted to watch as opposed to the Salvador Dali screening, which I'm sure would have been quite good as well. The snack / coffee bar was perfect for the visit. The murals section was an interesting addition, and the interactive street art photo booths were fun. Highly recommended overall.
Andrew D — Google review
The Dali Museum was so artsy and amazing — like walking straight into someone’s wild, beautiful dream (and possibly their subconscious). I only had a couple of hours to explore, which is basically a crime against art, so I’m 100% going back before I leave. Also… that espresso? Life-changing. I’m not saying Dali himself whispered inspiration into my cup, but I’m also not not saying that. Next visit: slower pace, more surrealism, and definitely another magical espresso.
Vanessa R — Google review
Spent the afternoon here and was lucky enough to catch a tour. The docent was so knowledgeable and pointed out all of the symbolism and facts about the pieces and what they meant. There are so many obscure facts and tid bits that I had no idea about before the tour. The pieces were very thought provoking, and after visiting, would love to read his autobiography and go back to revisit
Jennifer B — Google review
Dalis work is very interesting. You go through the first floor where there’s a cafe, straight to the third floor using the elevator or the stairs. The art gallery is on the third floor, you’re greeted with Dalis most famous panting as soon as you go in, after that it’s his earlier up to his later works. There’s also a VR experience which I thought was pretty cool. To watch the 360° experiences you need to pay extra than the general admission. Overall a good experience
Odeta — Google review
I've been wanting to come here every since they opened, Dali had been my favorite artist since I was 10. I absolutely loved it! All the staff were extremely kind and my husband & I had a wonderful time!
Savannah R — Google review
My overall experience at the Salvador Dalí Museum was… okay. I’m not judging Dalí’s work here, just the museum itself. The first thing that stood out was the price: the entrance fee is very high, and on top of that you also have to pay for parking. For a place that’s already expensive, this felt a bit excessive. Another issue is the storage system. You’re required to leave your bags in outdoor, non-secured lockers or simply keep your things in the car. The idea behind it is supposedly to reduce theft inside the museum if you have a backpack with shoulder straps, they make you leave it behind. But they don’t seem very concerned about whether something gets stolen from those lockers or from your car, which is pretty ironic. On the positive side, the guides and staff were excellent. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and made the visit more enjoyable. So overall: great people working there, but the logistics, pricing, and lack of secure storage definitely took away from the experience.

Sunken Gardens, located just outside downtown St. Petersburg, is a century-old tropical paradise featuring over 50,000 exotic plants and birds from around the world. This botanical gem also includes a traditional Japanese koi pond, sparkling waterfalls, and a pollinator garden filled with native Florida butterflies. Visitors can stroll past colorful macaws, cockatoos, kookaburras, and flamingos while learning about the gardens' fascinating history dating back to the 1950s.
This was a lovely experience and a great look at old Florida! The plants were beautiful and there was a great amount of information. Plenty of opportunities for cute pictures and we got to see a fair amount of wildlife as well. I felt tickets were well priced for the amount of time we spent and what we got to see. I also thought the gift shop was great. There were lots of cute things for someone looking for a souvenir from St Petersburg!
Abby S — Google review
It’s a nice green space with some interesting plants, flowing water features, and a nice retreat similar to other places of that era. If you want some beautiful scenery and wildlife, it’s a nice choice as a regular retreat if you live in the Bay Area. We got a good deal for a family membership so it’s nice to pop over and walk around for an hour or two as one of the few places to get some green around here. There are a couple of shady open areas with astroturf that are good for the kiddos to play. Otherwise there’s not much going on other than looking at things and relaxing. A nice option if you have visitors who love plants, or want something sedate, but mostly just a stroll and relaxing kind of spot.

Escape the city without leaving the city. This garden transports you into a lush tropical oasis. Surrounded by vibrant colors, calming sounds, and layered textures of cascading landscapes, you can meander the blissfully winding trails for hours. Stop by the flamingos to see them dance in delight at feeding time. The Macaws and Tuscan show off their vivid colors at their own exhibits throughout the property. Other special sightings include butterflies, a kookaburra, tortoises, and turtle. The garden also provides ample opportunities for photo ops and has a gift shop as well.

I'm so glad we finally got a chance to go. This place is breathtaking 😍. Trying to navigate with the map is kinda tricky. There are not a lot of restroom. I liked that we could pack our own lunch, so we had a nice picnic on the lawn. They were also setting up for wla wedding which looked very beautiful. I actually got to see the stunning bride. They also have birds.
Lyrical S — Google review
What a wonderful place to visit. If you have any interest at all in exotic trees, please visit this place. Sunken Gardens has been around for a long time and has some great history. Beautiful blooms and natural architecture of the plants and trees will WOW you. They also have some birds and turtles on site. With a nice little gift shop. For those who are interested for the kids also attached to Great Explorations.

This small garden is really worth visiting. The Chilean flamingo is one of the attractions. Furthermore, there are a great number of trees and flowers which are professionally designed, carefully maintained and healthy growing. It is a magic plant kingdom. Let’s go!
Kevin H — Google review
We visited the Sunken Gardens on a beautiful Monday afternoon and although it was hot, the experience was pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through the lush gardens and watching the flamingos get fed. We found the paths to be a little confusing, even using the map provided, but were still able to find everything and get the full experience. Definitely recommend getting the Groupon for 2 adult ticket admission IYKYK.

Absolutely gorgeous. Pathways of exotic plants, trees, flowers and fruit featuring fish, birds, turtles and lizards everywhere. Tons of insta worthy photo ops with impressive natural backdrops. A beautiful wedding or private event venue. Admissions donated to local wildlife and preservation societies. A must see when in St. Pete

Art school
The Morean Arts Center in St. Petersburg, FL is a contemporary art gallery that showcases the works of local and international artists. While it doesn't feature Dali's artwork, it focuses on displaying the talents of local and national artists, with occasional international features. The center also houses a permanent collection of Dale Chihuly's work and manages the Chihuly Collection.
The free admission center displays all kinds of art creations by local and international artists. The center offers all kinds of art classes from photography, painting, drawing, metal work, jewelry, glass, and more for adults and kids. They have some open studios for budding artists to come in and create. Art openings occur about once a month. Memory mornings include tours focused on people with dementia and their caregivers to provide a focused, quieter visit to the center. I'm looking forward to the Jan 17 exhibit of pottery by Florida university students. Wheel chair access throughout. Heavy door at entrance. Wheel chair access parking with most spaces pay by app and a few free street spaces with a 2 hour limit.

We had the pleasure of joining Matt in the Hot Shop for a Hot Date class on a Friday night after visiting the Chihuly exhibit. It was such a great experience and it really gave us an appreciation of the skill and physicality involved in creating glass artwork. Matt was a great instructor and was focused on fun and safety. We haven’t seen our final piece yet because it needs to rest a couple of days. I highly recommend and hope to do it again!
Andrea K — Google review
Fun experience! With the price of admission you get to walk through the Chihuly exhibit and then are treated to (if you so choose) a glass blowing demonstration across the street. Very cool!

I took my first glass class making a pumpkin in the hot shop at Morean Art Center and it was so much fun! Kaylee and Matt were great instructors - very patient, motivational and kept us safe. I highly recommend the experience !

Love this local gem of an art gallery! Wonderful showcases to be seen here by some talented artists. Check out the talent they have when you can. I loved seeing some of the SHINE ON Festival Artists on display & capturing it in a creative, unique way with my glass spheres. Never a dull moment of creative viewing at this charming establishment with friendly staff! I'm excited to see what future shows they offer to the public & and the majority of the time is free. I've even been to a cupcake contest and tasting here! I highly recommend it!

Came for the glass blowing demo not knowing what to expect, but I was BLOWN away (pun intended)!! The experience was super informative while still being so much fun to just sit back and watch. The store front has many beautiful pieces for sale as well.

We were able to visit and view a glass blowing demonstration by several of the professional artists at the Morean Arts Ctr as part of our entry and visit of the Chihuly Gallery. Very cool. There is also a shop to purchase items made by artists at the Center.
Robert S — Google review
I wasn't sure if I would like this museum, but I was blown away. The colours of the glass, the forms, and most of all the sizes of the pieces. what a great place to visit. I recommend that you take the time to see the video, as it explains how difficult some of these pieces were to create.

St. Pete Pier is a charming waterfront destination that offers 26 acres of entertainment, including water sports, parks, restaurants, and outdoor concerts. The pedestrian-friendly area is lined with trees and features a variety of shops and dining options leading to the city's expansive waterfront. Visitors can admire the impressive "Bending Arc" sculpture by local artist Janet Echelman and enjoy family-friendly attractions such as the Majeed Foundation splash pad and a pirate-themed playground.
The area is a picturesque destination, featuring an assortment of restaurants, quick bites, and dessert options. The scenery is remarkably stunning and gorgeous. A splash pad offers fun for kids and kids at heart. Ample seating areas are provided. The trolley service runs every 15 minutes, ensuring easy transportation. Fishing is allowed at the pier's end, and gift shops are available. A weekend market adds to the area's allure.

The St Pete Pier has so much to offer, for crowds of all ages, all throughout the day! First, you can really get your steps in here- the entirety of the Pier has to be at least 1 mile long. But they also have a tram you can take if you don’t or can’t do the walking. There’s a splash park for the kids and a playground, vendor booths with a fun and unique variety of knick knacks, and even an aquatic museum. Of course, there’s eats too for all the goodies. Perry’s Porch is a new edition at the start of the Pier- you need a reservation a few weeks in advance for that one. At the end of the pier Teak and Pier Teaki. Teak is a sit down restaurant on the second floor and Pier Teaki is the rooftop bar- that place is so cool and also serves food but it fills up real fast. It offers a stunning view of the St Pete skyline, especially at night. And in between there’s also a concessions. There’s tons of seating all around, and even a tiny beach right along the water. There is water so you don’t get dehydrated and even free sunscreen. They host many events & festivals in the area too and it’s a great place to hang out.

Soaking up the sunshine and waterfront vibes at the St. Pete Pier! ☀️ From watching the sailboats⛵️ on the bay to the skaters doing their thing, it's a beautiful spot to people-watch and just enjoy the day. St. Pete really knows how to do a waterfront area right. 🩵I can't get over the gorgeous views, the calm bay waters, and all the happy people walking by. The entire area is so well-designed for a day of fun and relaxation. Where the bay meets the shore🌊 and the sunshine is bright 🌞 Sailboats pass by with a graceful, white sail ⛵️ On the pier, life's simple, a beautiful tale🎣 #StPetePier #StPetersburgFL #FloridaLife #SunshineCity #WaterfrontViews #Florida

St. Pete Pier is an absolute must-visit for everyone! It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and fun with a vibrant playground for the kids, peaceful Bay Area lounges where you can dip your feet and unwind, and a lively food deck offering plenty of great spots to grab a bite or enjoy a drink. The views from the main deck at the end of the pier are simply spectacular especially at sunset. We’ve visited many times with family and friends, and it’s always a great experience. There’s also a convenient trolley that runs up and down the pier for those who prefer not to walk. If you go on a Saturday morning, don’t miss the local market full of unique finds, fresh treats, and local crafts. St. Pete Pier truly has something for everyone
Carolina J — Google review
This is a beautiful place to take the family. There are lots of things to enjoy such as the splash and a playground. There's beach access and also a tram if you'd rather ride to the end instead of walking. There are quiet places to sit with chairs set up just so you can enjoy the view. I highly recommend visiting here if you're in St Petersburg.

Always a vibe. There is so much going on; this is fun for all ages! There was an outdoor market; live music; people walking their dogs, kids running around having a great time. Towards the evening we took the free trolley to the end of the pier and enjoyed the sun set, cool breeze and some yummy drinks.

The teake cafe has a great view, checkout the rainbow 🌈 we caught from the comfy corner - lots of wind. Makes me wish I brought my kitesurfing equipment- can see all the boats and waves. Such a cool spot. Trolley comes every 10-15 mins and it’ll take you from the parking lot to the pier. Fishers have a nice spot at the end too.

First time visiting, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful museum! I went to specifically see the current kimono exhibit before it over, and it was breathtaking! They also offer a military discount. I'm looking forward to returning to other exhibits and events.

My wife and I went on an excursion conducted by Natilie Velez in Russian. It was wonderful! Natalie knows her subject perfectly. I am very glad that the museum management decided to make thematic projects in different languages. I am sure that such events will expand the museum's audience and cause additional interest in history and art. We will be looking forward to another meeting!

Stunning art and incredibly curated displays! Took about 4 hours to view everything and each step, sight and word read was worth every minute. This stunning exhibit is worth more than words can say! Do make time to check this wonderful museum out.

Loved our visit! This was our first time touring the museum and it was a great find. We just happened to see the poster advertising the kimono exhibit while walking down the pier, and decided to go. I'm glad we did! The kimonos were amazing and I learned so much about their design and meaning of some of the finer details. The rest of the museum was great to see too. I did not expect to see a Monet or Georgia O'Keefe! This is a great place to pop in if you're downtown. I look forward to seeing future special exhibits.

The galleries and exhibits are wonderful. Prices in the cafe on contrary are very expensive, $25 for a plain croissant, 1 slice of cake and espresso. Also the strange tacky, very large painting of the basketball player or whoever that is, in the middle of the main hall with old school classical paintings is totally unnecessary…out of place, kills the atmosphere of the room….

MOFA was beautiful! I enjoyed seeing all the artwork and artifacts (especially Leviathan Zodiac) and the Clementine Cafe was cool too! I’ll come back! P. S. Enjoyed the Outside In exhibit too! -Henry

Fort De Soto Park is a sprawling and historic park located in Pinellas County, Florida. It spans multiple connected islands and offers a diverse range of attractions. Visitors can explore nature trails, mangroves, and sand dunes adorned with yellow sunflowers. The park features seven miles of waterfront, two fishing piers, and a 120-year-old fort built during the Spanish-American War.
Beautiful State Park, very clean and organized. There were plenty beaches and trails with clean restrooms and trash cans, so people cannot litter. The wildlife is amazingly beautiful. I paid $6.35 for 9 hours 31 minutes, really worth it. You could park in any lots inside the State park

Campground is beautiful with large almost private sites. Wildlife provides for great photography. Mosquitos were abundant so bring repellents and protection. Bath houses could be updated but are clean and functional. Washers and dryers available. Fishing from shore and nearby bridges and pier. Biking trails. Boat launch close by. Some recovery still going on from Helene and Milton but they have made huge progress. Roads through some areas in campground with huge potholes, be aware when moving coach to and from the campsites. Will visit again for the areas culture, beaches and value for the stay. Lots of restaurants, stores over the bridge. You will not be bored staying here.

MY FAVORITE SPOT! I get there early. Incredible array of produce! There's an amazing lady there with the plant based handcrafted soaps w/natural glycerin. Her soap makes my skin extremely soft so I tried it on my face wooo it's a win win!! Every time I come I have to grab at least one of her soaps. Mailing some as a gift for a friend in Oregon. It's not the biggest market. Has baked goods, pizza coffee, crystals, clothes, jewelry, veg and meats, honey. I got breakfast there coffee cookie and donuts. I don't remember the booth name but That donut was dense. I'm pretty sure it was 1lb and was 90% filling. The Thai tea cookie was delicious. And the stuffed vine leaf was a good savory item.

Great experience. We picked up uncommon tropical fruit, tried fresh pressed juices, grabbed fresh vegetables and enjoyed the time!

Lovely market with a nice variety of vendors. Lots and lots of produce, mushrooms, flowers, art, jewelry, etc. I didn't get any food but there were a lot of food options, too. There were a bunch of wonderful, well-behaved doggies about, minding their owners and not making trouble. All the vendors I interacted with were helpful and friendly.

The market has so many options for enticing your pallet. The food trucks were great too. A great way to start your Saturday morning.

Great park with a lot of cute tents to stop in and check out. Vendors are kind and knowledgeable. Definitely going to be a part of my every Saturday routine. They have little local shops, bakeries, coffee and a small fresh food market. Music plays from the amphitheater, it’s a great vibe.

There are two locations for this market. In the summer it’s at Williams Park. In the winter it’s in the parking lot of the Rowdies Stadium. I went to the summer time market in Williams Park in early July. If you are dressed for hot weather, there is lots of shade. I enjoyed all the vendors and the mix of food and goods. It has a very Downtown St. Pete feel with art, wellness, nature and spiritual products. Local vendors sell their sourdough breads, prepared foods, juices, plants, candles, farm fresh veggies and desserts. The coolest items I saw were hanging plants, air plants, amazing mushrooms that looked like works of art, and local natural salt water sponges. Lots of items at a $5 price point. I got a refreshing drink of cucumber and mint ($5) and the green pork Tamles ($15) at Aztec Rojo and knishes from Brooklyn Knish. We got a Thai one, Indian samosa and a cheeseburger filled one. ($15 for 3) The Thai one was delicious and very spicy. The restroom is only for vendors and there aren’t public bathrooms close by anywhere. There isn’t live music in the summer. I did request info about allowing local teens to play music here but was told, “no, no, no” by the official market booth.

Fantastic market to visit on a Saturday morning with great selection of vendors. Best place to buy fresh fruits and vegetables , cheeses, bread, coffee and what not from family owned businesses. The best thing to do on a Saturday morning and definitely one of the best, if not the best, market in the area.

The Florida Holocaust Museum stands as a poignant reminder of the atrocities faced during the Holocaust, with a particular focus on local survivors' narratives. This museum offers an immersive experience through its meticulously curated collection of artifacts, photographs, artwork, and videos that delve into this harrowing chapter of history. A significant highlight is Boxcar #113 069-5, one of the few remaining railroad cars used by the Nazis for transporting victims to extermination camps like Auschwitz and Treblinka.
This is a very emotionally powerful museum. It is designed to be child friendly, so it doesn’t go as in-depth as some museums on the subject I’ve been to. The volunteer was very helpful in describing the museum and exhibits. They had two temporary exhibits going on during my visit. I found the “We Share The Same Sky” exhibit to be the most moving. It was very touching and had many items that brought me back to the museums of Europe. I would definitely return in the future, it’s a really special place here in Florida to be able to reflect on exhibits and items that normally you would have to travel to Europe to see.

Our tour was coordinated with the Eight O'clock Theater during rehearsal for and in preparation for Cabaret. Our guides, Maureen Murphy and Jennifer Bell were phenomenal. The experience is heart wrenching, somber, beautiful, important, and (somehow) still filled with hope and heroes. My (former) neighbor is featured in multiple exhibits which brought an extra element for me. I've known her story for decades but seeing and hearing it in the museum brings it to another level. It's an emotional and heavy experience that I absolutely recommend to everyone. History is important.

Wow, what a museum full of an abundance of history and information. There is a lot to read at this museum so heads up there. Also leave your purse in the car or be prepared to check it at the ticket window.

Very informative. There is a lot of reading. The visual effects were both generally striking and heartbreaking. There were also some recorded survivor statements. I thought this was well done for a regional museum. However, because it is just a small museum, it certainly could not compare to the United States Holocaust Museum in Washington DC, which I visited on a number of occasions.
Roz S — Google review
Very educational and powerful exhibits. So much to learn from this museum and unique exhibits displaying individual experiences. My 4th grader read "Number the Stars" and "The War That Saved My Life" in school this year so it was valuable for her to learn more of the history behind her books. My 1st grader appreciated certain aspects of the museum, but didn't have the awareness to fully appreciate it. I'd love to go again without my kids in tow. The staff were amazing and very helpful. They had a sign that they will be starting renovations soon. I'd love to come back after those are completed!!!

It's hard to explain until you go. I have seen news stories and read stuff online about the holocaust museum, but going has a huge impact. It's very informative and covers a heck of a lot that I never learned in school. I was very surprised at the lack of direction. This is a huge building and the interior has a lot of open space...and there are arrows, but not nearly enough for all the twists and turns inside the museum. ... and no idea which way to go on the second floor. Aside from but that, the displays were clear, if repetitive, and the information was way more involved than anything I had learned before.
Rob T — Google review
Very sad what they went through. My Uncle Buddy was in the Navy my Nana very young and my mother was just born in 1944 it was especially hard to see the pictures and grasp the magnitude of men women and children that were killed.
Robin H — Google review
A smallish and important museum. The stories are tragic and touching. The second floor exhibit was especially nice, although that part seems to change. This time, they had the "We Share the Same Sky" exhibit, which featured a granddaughter's look at her family history. We were able to get in for free using library passes, which was nice.

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve in St. Petersburg, Florida, is a 245-acre natural sanctuary offering a peaceful retreat from the city. Visitors can explore winding trails through diverse ecosystems like pine flatwoods and freshwater marshes while observing native wildlife such as alligators, bald eagles, and gopher tortoises. The preserve also offers scenic tram tours with knowledgeable guides providing insights into the area's natural beauty and habitats.
This preserve is genuinely incredible. Right in the middle of St. Pete you've got a gorgeous mosaic of the nearly all the habitats Florida can offer (though I'm biased towards the uplands!) and they're clearly all lovingly and intelligently maintained. The city and preserve staff have done a wonderful thing here.

I went on a mini retreat here, and it was amazing, especially for my first time visiting. There were also some beautiful birds to see both as a part of the preserve and in their natural habitat. Our hike was guided, but there were several trails, so I look forward to coming back and trying to them.

This was a nice outing. They have great walking and biking trails and with the side trails you can easily do 5 miles. A gift shop, restrooms, kids playground, adequate parking, an aviary, water stations along the route, healthy snacks in the gift shop like strawberries, celery, peaches, and other cold snacks. They definitely need more magnets with the preserve on it as I collect magnets. We saw some wildlife, a baby alligator, raccoon, squirrels and an owl that was hooting at one of the caged owls. A worker there said that owl has been coming for a few seasons to probably "mate" and "talk" to one of the other owls. A pretty neat and safe place. Entrance fee is very reasonable.

went to this place for a Saturday morning walk and had no idea it was an entire ✨experience✨ but what an incredible surprise! they have so many trails to choose from. the flora and fauna is so diverse. it's a huge place so I doubt you'll ever feel like it's "crowded." The aviary was also a nice surprise. The birds were gorgeous and you get to read about their backstory! On the main trail there's a wooden swing with a beautiful skyline view. I'm in love!

This is a lovely place to walk through a natural park. We entered the park at the visitor center at the south end. There are three main trails going north-south. The one on the east follows more closely to the lake. After a while you can cross a pedestrian bridge to a small island with views of St Pete across the water. There were small alligators lounging under the bridge. This island is, I’m guessing, about halfway to the northern tip of the park. If you continue going north after getting back off the island, the trail offers less shade than the beginning of the walk. It gets pretty hot for us, Seattleites. We chose not to go all the way to the northern tip of the park because of the hot sunny trail. After a while you can get back to the middle trail (which also goes north-south), and it has the most shade. Once on the middle trail, we decided to try the western trail going north-south, but it also lacked shade except near the visitor center. It follows close to the western edge of the park, so you see and hear cars which we didn’t enjoy as much.

Beautiful preserve. Got my 10,000 steps and enjoyed every minute spent walking, talking, and snapping pictures. There's plenty of shade and water stations. The wildlife was plentiful.

We had a great trip! The cabins have been improved from our last stay, I love the new paint job. The playground is so unique, I’m not sure if it’s new but I don’t remember seeing it on my last trip. The trails are great and I LOVE the water stations!

Boyd Hills Raptor fest was fabulous! But in general it’s an awesome park to walk around and be apart of nature. Looking at the birds of prey they have rescued is quite thrilling. Their playground of the kids was fun as well. There is a small fee to walk the trails but it is worth it! It’s a great spot to see baby alligators and bird watch. Boyd Hill also has a TON of programs year round to get involved in. Overall it was a great experience. We will go back to visit the Nature Center as well.

It is a top family attraction and learning center in the state, providing an inviting environment for children to engage with interactive displays and activities.
We love coming here for the permanent things to do like the surfboard climber, the treehouse slide, the put-on-the-weather-forecaster-jacket to be on TV, Firefighter complete with sliding pole, shopping experience, and more. The seasonal activity is a simulated ice rink with plastic floor and felt snowballs--a real Florida kids ice skating experience. The interactive coloring and science events are always fun. A separate area for younger ones allows them to explore fine motor skills like puzzles and gross motor equipment in their own space. Free parking with a circle drop-off and pick-up drive in a lot shared by another daytime venue and a restaurant. Free wheel chair van access spaces with long curb cuts. wheel chair access in the museum except for the surfboard climber, treehouse, and the step up to firetruck. What a great time my grandsons and I had at this adorable little museum today. The interactive exhibits were well appointed, neat and clean, and so interesting for preschoolers. Beyond that, the staff then provided brief shows….a dancing dragon and musical performances, bubbles…it was all so sweet. We took great photos and sent back to mom and dad, who were delighted. My only suggestion is that 10:30 am is a late time to start for this age group. Given most nap around noon or shortly thereafter, it would have been wonderful if we could have started the morning before 10.

The kids loved this museum. The Publix shopping pretend play area was a favorite. This museum allows children to be as creative as they want to be. The workers are keep an eye out while cleaning up behind the children as they play with everything and they do it with genuine pleasure. I would visit again and recommend to all parents or grandparents with young children.

I came here with my 4-year-old while visiting St. Pete. Feels like less of a museum and more like a large play area which is fine because that's exactly what we needed. My kid had a great time and especially loved shopping in the miniature Publix and the thing at the front where you use air pressure to launch a tennis ball. We came in the summer so even though it was a weekday it got pretty crowded which was a little overwhelming. I would definitely come back the next time we're in town.
Corinne — Google review
I think the idea is great. I loved the separate STEM areas and free parking. The price was reasonable as well. My dilemma is in the maintenance of the items, the cleanliness, and the overcrowding. I decided to go with my son and two others moms right when they opened on a weekday. We have toddlers all under 2. There were older kids in the toddler zones, mom’s not attending their kids and almost running over our small ones, some areas were filled with dirt/debris that my son kept trying to pick up, and broken equipment. If this place was better maintained and maybe has a children capacity/time slots, I would have paid the money for the annual membership despite living 40 min away. Unfortunately do to all the above, I will probably not be back.
Danaise F — Google review
Dirty. Lots of kids activities and interactions but it’s all so dirty. The museum was closed last week for maintenance but I went 4 days after it reopened and it was still so dirty. I only went into the fire department area (outside of the little kiddie zone) and the seats had tears in them and the equipment was extremely worn out and very dingy. The sandpit area for the little kids had a lot of hairballs and lint in it. The climbing toys have a dirty dark film over it. And all the interactive sensory toys nailed on the kiddie wall were broken. I’ll come back when my son is old enough to know better than to put the things in his mouth. The items can be cleaned of this dirt with a little hard wiping. The employees were kind. But when we walked in I saw 2 sitting at different areas just looking at the ground. I know it’s a boring job but what’s the point of them being in there with nothing to do? It was just weird looking.

I absolutely loved this museum! The art doesn’t just inspire—it truly transports you to another world. The creativity and craftsmanship with glass is just incredible. I was amazed by everything on display. What I appreciated most is that they don’t only support talent from the U.S., but also from around the world. On top of that, many of the pieces share important messages about human rights and culture, which I found beautiful and powerful. It’s amazing how much can be taught through art. The space itself is stunning, with breathtaking sculptures that really leave a mark. I went with my 7-year-old daughter, and she was fascinated too—she absolutely loved it. It’s definitely a place I want to visit again. ♥️

This was a very fun museum to explore. It didn’t seam like it would be much from the outside, but had plenty to offer on the inside. One could easily spend hours looking at everything this place has to offer. Something I appreciated was the variety of glass art they have on display. Some of the pieces leave you wondering how they were made while others leave you in awe in how patient the artists must be. For them this would truly have to be a passion with the levels of detail that went into their work. I enjoyed this museum so much I plan on making others trips back to take it in at a slower pace. If you want to be amazed with amazing pieces of glass work/art this is the place for you.

Its a cool museum, I enjoyed it even though it was extremely busy. We went on a free museum day, so we expected a ton of people. We had low expectations, but the art enamored my two daughters and I. It was my two daughters first museum experience. We were able to enjoy it, UNTIL some nasty, judgemental older woman used ugly, unprovoked language towards my 8 and 9 yr old daughter. Its sad you'll always have nasty people ruining great memories and moments. The woman got pretty loud and belligerent. There were so many employees working, I dont understand why no one stopped her or made her leave. I kept my composure and remained respectful. However that's the memory my children have of going to the Imagine museum and their first museum experience. Its so important to properly train employees/volunteers on what appropriate/inappropriate behavior is. They need to know how to handle situations like that. Also, apparently grown adults also need to be advised on proper museum procedures during events like this. There's no way a couple of people should expect a room full of people to move for their photo op ESPECIALLY during free museum day while yall have entire rooms and sections roped off. I guess I was disappointed in the experience but the actual art was magnificent. I heard people around me saying similar things.
Christine A — Google review
There are surprisingly so many glass artists around this area and visiting this museum opened my eyes a bit on doing more research on who you choose to support. While it was jaw dropping just looking at each artist featured and their individual work, the majority(I'd say half or more) of the pieces featured are stamped by the museum owner, Trish Duggan. Feel free to Google the name and come to your own conclusions, but I will say she creates so much alien artwork that I started to guess that she very well may be an alien herself. I'm happy that the entry price was relatively low and hopefully that the money goes into the pockets of the other featured artists. Reading Christina Yates' story had me heartbroken and I'm glad to have experienced her art and story

Has some of the most Beautiful and amazing Glass Art I have seen! The 1st floor is the best hands down. Upstairs had a bunch of space themed (UFO) and new age art with comics or anime (definitely younger people made then) I wasn't a fan gave me the vibe of it just being thrown in there and was definitely out of place for me and it wasn't as creative as the glass arts. I feel the exhibits are under-maintained. Many of the larger pieces had dust all over the glass which takes away from the artworks’ color and beauty. Otherwise it’s a nice visit, smaller than the collection in Seattle but representative of some of the works there but I think there are more vases on display here. If you buy tickets in advance you’re prioritized and get access to the glass blowing demonstration which was my favorite part.

It offers a range of outdoor activities such as hiking, birdwatching, and paddling along designated trails for canoes and kayaks. Visitors can explore the diverse aquatic and upland ecosystems through nearly five miles of paths and boardwalks on foot or by water.
So beautiful and way above my expectations.the boardwalks are so nice and i appreciate them for making such a long mangrove walk. can't wait to come back!

We visited Weedon on our vacation since as a family, we enjoy hiking. It was a relatively easy hike with mostly dirt paths on the Boyscout trail which was more challenging even on a straightaway. The other trails had a boardwalk with several look out points and towers that one could climb. On our visit to FL, we chose to hike on a sunny weekday and it was relatively quiet. Lots of parking was available and there is an information centre where our young child was able to use the restroom. We hiked in January so there were no mosquitos however interestingly enough we saw lizards which my son loved. The weather was ideal as it was a warm 13C as opposed to our normal -10C. We chose to opt with windbreakers and layering options that we eventually took off. Highly suggest recommending sunscreen, snacks, hydration and taking breaks as needed. The two trails we traversed with our young son was quite easy as opposed to what we normally hike which is more of a hill and challenging terrain. Great for beginners and those looking for a leisurely stroll.

With miles of scenic boardwalks and trails winding through mangroves, tidal flats, and coastal forests, it’s the perfect spot for long walks, peaceful jogs, or just a relaxing escape into nature. The views of Tampa Bay are beautiful, and the wildlife — from wading birds to fish and crabs — makes every visit feel a little different. The Cultural and Natural History Center adds an enriching touch, offering fascinating insight into the area’s Indigenous heritage and diverse ecosystems through interactive exhibits. Everything is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to make the experience enjoyable for all ages. Whether you’re looking for a scenic running route, a quiet nature walk, or a chance to learn about Florida’s history and environment, Weedon Island Preserve is an absolute must-visit. Peaceful, picturesque, and perfect for spending a few hours — or an entire day — outdoors.

An amazing place with endless trails. The trails are well maintained and you mostly walk in the shade. Peaceful and quiet. Benches are scattered around to rest. The Education Center is a great place to learn about the Native American presence in the area. The videos and exhibits are very informative. Super friendly docents! Will definitely come back to explore the other trails.

My husband and I love to find new trails to walk. I came across this place in my search and I’m so glad I did! We will definitely be back. Parking is free. When you first pull into Weedon preserve. You will drive about a mile or two before you come up on the first option for parking. You will see a gravel like area for a few cars to park at which will also have signage stating walking trail. These are the natural trails. They’re called north and south Boy Scout trails. These are beautiful natural trails. You will walk through trees on either side of you in nice cleared trail. You will walk over little ground bridges that add something fun to these trails. We walked both north and south trail and it was about 2 miles of trails. We do think that during rainy season these trails could be flooded in some areas. The bugs will also be pretty bad on these trails during the rainy seasons and hot Florida weather. We are here in March and it was absolutely beautiful this morning when we went. Once you exit these trails you will come across signage stating the direction of the other trails . We continued to follow those signs to the board walk trails. You will come up to an area that starts the boardwalk trails/paved walking trail. The boardwalk trails are beautiful! They sit a few feet above ground. They wind you in and out of beautiful trees and at times have areas to walk out to water views. Because this preserve has a lot to explore, most of the time we were on the trails alone. Occasionally walking by people, but most of the time we were enjoying the peaceful outdoor outdoors alone. We went around 9am. Eventually, we reached signs stating the direction to the information center. Once inside we were greeted by employees who give us information on the property and what all was inside this information center. This is a three-story building that has so much history. They even have a 1400 year-old canoe on display that they dug up on property. There is also a really cool walk-through exhibit that we did not expect to come across. Inside this building are the only bathrooms on property, a little gift shop with trinkets and a water fountain and water bottle fill station. They do not sell any water or drinks on property so make sure you bring your own. Once we left the information center, we saw signs directing us to the Lookout tower. This trail was a short amount of boardwalk that eventually led to a three story tower. You could climb to the top to get views of the surrounding area. My husband and I ended up exploring this whole property. The north and south Boy Scout trails were about 2 miles and rest of the boardwalk trails and information center were about 3 miles so in all we walked a little over 5 miles. You can walk as little or as much as you want on this property. Parking and everything is free so it’s such a great way to spend the day. They had a few areas with picnic tables if you choose to bring lunch and just enjoy the Florida outdoors. Don’t forget your water and bug spray! We also Saw in other reviews that parking was difficult, but we did go in the morning at 9 AM, parked by the natural trails so we didn’t have this same issue. We were the only car parked in those few parking spots when we arrived. No pets allowed at Weedon preserve.

Definitely one of the places that reminds us all of how beautiful Florida is when we protect it! Beautiful boardwalks, kayaking, wildlife, nature center, and fishing pier.

I love it here! It's peaceful, clean, they have bathrooms and multiple trails. Only downside is you can't bring your furry friend for a walk here BUT that maybe a good thing for some people. There's a really cool observation tower and I love how they put little information about the park and it's residents.

Vinoy Park is a stunning 11+ acre waterfront park in St. Petersburg, offering picturesque views of Tampa Bay and the Pier. It's an ideal spot for picnics, outdoor activities, and special events like Ribfest and concerts. The park features a fitness center, dog park, walking paths, tennis courts, and various recreational amenities. Visitors can also enjoy sunrise yoga on the beach while taking in scenic ocean and city views.
Watched the excellent fireworks on Independence Day. Plenty of room for waters-edge seating and parking about .5 mile away. Parking lot not normally full, but was crazy that night, so walk if you can. Beautiful views of bay any day and worth visiting.

Attended my very first Blues Festival at Vinoy Park in beautiful St.Pete Florida!! During the festival there were many food options, drinks, alcoholic beverages & non alcoholic beverages. There was security & a host of wonderful beautiful people enjoying the 3 day event called the 2025 Tampa Bay Blues festival!!

One of many beautiful parks in St Petersburg, Vinoy is in an exclusive area on the bay. There is 11.5 acres of paradise surrounded by the best restaurants and museums. Parking usually isn't an issue with many spaces in different places. The Pier is nearby and it has it's own shops and views. The park is favorite of the locals, they host several festivals throughout the year. It's absolutely pet friendly and has a great playground for toddlers. Fun stop for everyone even for a few hours. Enjoy

Vinoy Park in Full Florida Glory – A Must-Visit Hot Spot Vinoy Park absolutely comes alive during the warmer months—especially on weekends—and this past visit was no exception. If you’re looking for a place where sunshine, waterfront views, and people-watching collide in the best possible way, this is it. Set right on the edge of Tampa Bay in downtown St. Pete, Vinoy Park offers sweeping views of the water, sailboats drifting by, and a perfect mix of city and nature. It’s clean, well-maintained, and has just the right mix of open grass, shaded trees, and pathways for walking, jogging, or just soaking it all in. Now let’s talk about the energy. When the sun is out, Vinoy Park turns into a magnet for locals and tourists alike. You’ve got joggers, dog-walkers, yoga groups, families picnicking, and yes—plenty of beautiful people catching rays and enjoying life. It’s a mix of casual and beachy with a touch of downtown flair. If you appreciate the Florida lifestyle—tanned skin, shades on, and music drifting in from a Bluetooth speaker—this is your kind of crowd. The “hot times” vibe is real. People show up ready to enjoy the day. You’ll see paddleboarders out on the water, sunbathers stretched out in all directions, and couples strolling hand-in-hand with their iced coffees. It’s a social scene, but relaxed and low-pressure. Nobody’s in a rush. Everyone just seems to be exactly where they want to be. Whether you’re coming for a festival, an outdoor workout, a peaceful morning stroll, or just to take in the scenery and the crowd, Vinoy delivers. And if you’ve got a thing for eye candy? Let’s just say this park is not short on that either. Pro tip: show up around golden hour, bring a folding chair or a blanket, and enjoy the breeze off the bay. You’ll leave feeling like you just got a taste of everything good about St. Pete. 5 stars. Will be back. Might never leave.

The Sunshine Skyway Bridge in St. Petersburg, FL offers a scenic drive with stunning views of Lower Tampa Bay. It's a popular spot for fishing and also provides access to nearby attractions like the Salvador Dali Museum and Tropicana Field for baseball games. The bridge, constructed in the late 1980s, spans over 4 miles and reaches heights of 190 feet above the water to accommodate boat traffic below.
Crossing the Sunshine Skyway Bridge is beautiful any time of day with open water and views all around. Downtown St. Petersburg is visible in the distance with downtown Tampa even farther away. It’s especially nice at sunset when the colors reflect off the water. An impressive drive that really shows off the areas scenery.

Driving across country was a goal of mine.I have seen many great sights and experienced many things. But the Sunset Skyway Bridge tops the cake. Beautiful all around and worth paying to go down the piers and see the sights.
Kylie C — Google review
This bridge is great fun to drive across. If you have time to go out on the beautiful pier for fishing or sunset views, it's worth it. The sentiment from the gate guard to the end is chill and happy. The beautiful Spanish Mackerel, drained, washed and kept in ice and cooked within 24 hours from hook to pan was absolutely delicious fried on setting 4 in herbed butter (similar to yellowtail or whitefish). I added a tiny bit of salt, pepper, garlic, dill and cumin. The deliciously fresh clean flavor was amazing! I wish I had brought home more to freeze!
Sherri A — Google review
I don't think I'll ever get tired of those views... I used to do the commute from Bradenton to St. Pete back in the day... I was always appreciative of my commute. That was probably the only time in my life were I was in awe of my commute... lol. It was one of those rare occasions where I was thankful for everything! I got to drive across the Sunshine Skyway Bridge on a regular basis! Occasionally I'd exit the rest stops just to admire the scenic views, especially the Sunsets and sometimes the Sunrise as well. Driving over the bridge was SO surreal....
Mika'ele K — Google review
We visited the bridge after 8 PM, excited by many reviews recommending the night view for the lighting effects. From about a mile or two away, the bridge looked stunning lit up and full of promise. But as we got closer, we were disappointed to find that the lights were only underneath the bridge on the pillars, not along the top or on the iconic cables. It didn’t match what we had imagined. We wish we had visited during the daytime or around sunset, which probably would’ve became a memorable day of our life. Still, an impressive piece of engineering worth seeing, just time your visit right!
Jithin V — Google review
Pretty cool bridge, if you embrace the concept of bridges. The view was amazing, if you embrace the concept of eyes. If you want to see a dolphin they're there, if you embrace the concept of dolphins. I believe in bridges, eyes, and dolphins, so it was a good choice to save a big drive around the bay.

The lady on the plane told us about this bridge. Going across it I didn’t really see what the whole hype was about. There are two really unique fishing piers ,one when you start and when we end, I guess that’s where the old bridge was. Looks like a nice bridge.

Mazzaro's Italian Market has been a staple in St. Petersburg for nearly 30 years, offering an authentic Italian experience. It is a one-stop shop for all things Italian, from coffee and wine to cured meats, cheeses, handmade pasta, pizza, bread, pastries, and gelato. The market boasts the largest selection of Italian wines in Florida.
This place is not for the weak! 😂 For warning this place is crowded and it does feel like you are in Italy for a bit. I do not mind the crowds because it is worth it and I see why they are crowded! The food is amazing there! When going to the deli be sure to have your order ready because if you grab a ticket and they call you and you don’t know what you want they will tell you to step back, grab another ticket when ready. It is fast paste! I did love the experience though. Going throughout the market they have great ingredients and a winery where you can sample on certain days. They also have a coffee shop with the best made coffee I have ever had and amazing pastries!!! Very good place to eat, take out, or get ingredients!

Mazzaro’s Italian Market in St. Pete is an absolute gem and a must-visit. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported into a world filled with authentic Italian flavors, aromas, and charm. The market is buzzing with energy, offering everything from fresh breads, handmade pasta, and imported cheeses to an impressive wine collection and mouthwatering pastries. The deli is a highlight, serving up incredible sandwiches packed with flavor and quality ingredients. The bakery is just as tempting, with desserts that look as good as they taste. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. It does get busy, but the lively atmosphere is part of what makes Mazzaro’s such a unique experience. Truly worth the trip every time!

This market had been on my places to try and finally stopped by on our way to Anna Maria. The store is big and it has every department you would expect but all with different Italian goodies! We got from the deli a breakfast sandwich (it was good but the bread a bit soft, not like semolina bread) and a ham and cheese similar to Mazzaro's club. Got a latte to go and it was good tasting coffee. From the bakery I got a slice of cannoli cake and I am impressed by the variety and freshness of their baked goods. It was a good stop and something to try while around St Pete.

An incredible Italian market. They have an entire room of cheese, a room of wine, a fresh meat and seafood section, a cold case with prepared foods that you can take home or have warmed up to eat out on the patio. They have a bakery, coffee bar, and gift shop. It is a must see if you're anywhere nearby!
Peggy M — Google review
Mazzarro’s Italian Market has the best coffee in town—hands down. Their bakery is full of decadent treats to die for, and the fresh-baked cakes are incredible. I recently enjoyed a slice of their red velvet cake, perfectly paired with a vanilla café latte. The fact that they roast their own beans in-house makes every sip rich and flavorful. The market is always bustling—like Black Friday every day—but that’s only because everything here is just that good. From the coffee to the bakery, Mazzarro’s is a true St. Petersburg gem.

If you’re looking for a slice of Italy tucked away in Florida, Mazzaro’s Italian Market is a must-visit gem. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear this isn’t just a market—it’s a full-blown Italian experience The market is a sensory overload in the best way possible. Shelves are lined with imported cheeses, wines, olive oils, and specialty pastas. The bakery tempts with cannoli cakes, rum cakes, and the legendary Lobster Tail pastry There’s even a shark statue guarding the butcher counter. Whether you’re grabbing a made-to-order sandwich, fresh pasta, or gourmet coffee, everything feels crafted with care. The deli and prepared foods section is especially impressive, offering authentic flavors that rival any sit-down Italian restaurant The staff are knowledgeable and passionate. Service is quick, friendly, and efficient—even when the place is packed. It gets busy, especially on weekends, but the energy adds to the charm. There’s outdoor seating, quirky themed tables, and hidden corners that make the space feel like a culinary adventure. Mazzaro’s isn’t just a place to shop—it’s a destination. Whether you’re a foodie, a curious traveler, or just craving a killer espresso, this market delivers an unforgettable taste of Italy in the heart of St. Pete.

There's a reason it was just named best overall grocery store in America! Locals know but if you haven't been, be sure to put this on your list of places to check out in St. Petersburg. You don't want to miss out on visiting this place! Authentic Italian market stocked with everything you could dream of and some things you didn't even know you needed but must have. You can relax at the coffee bar or grab lunch and sit in the breeze with a bottle of prosecco. Caprese panini was perfect, fig and the pig hot sandwich is a must try and the Italian salad was overflowing with goodness. Grabbed a few items for a charcuterie board but it wouldn't be hard to buy one of everything. Get there early or later in the day, parking is limited but well worth the wait.
Kat P — Google review
Definitely an experience if you are in St.Pete. They have an amazing deli and dessert area. We recently went to Sicily and I missed my Mozerella pistachio sandwich. They made it as great as Sicily! If they turned this to a restaurant, it would be even more amazing. The only challenge is how packed it is and the confusion on how to order. The deli and dessert staff were amazing but when we purchased groceries the front clerk who checked us out was a bit rude. Other than that, make sure you have time, patience and a cart to buy some groceries!!!

Sawgrass Lake Park is one of the most popular attractions in St. Petersburg. The park spans 400 acres and features a mile-long elevated boardwalk with options for wildlife observation. The park also has canals and lakes perfect for fishing, as well as a half-mile dirt trail for hiking or biking.
Beautiful housing area before getting to the park. Love the wooden nature trails that are shielded by the trees. We got to see a baby alligator among other things. The wind was blowing. I loved getting my steps in while being outside enjoying nature. The bathrooms and trails are well kept.

This is REALLY a great park and wildlife preservation with lots of information on the nearby animals in the area, indigenous animals of Florida! The boardwalks that are here provide ample spaces for walks into the park over the lakes and streams that are here, also we were able to see live alligators in there natural habitat only several feet from us. It's a great place for family outings or just to take a walk alone or for healthy afternoon exercise. There are plenty of benches set up around the park and trail to provide rest and relaxation if you just want to sit and take in nature that's all around you!

The 400 acres of peaceful walks and exploration holds one of the largest maple swamps on the Gulf Coast, perfect for wildlife photos! There is also a natural hiking trail. How is this allowed. As well as having their pets off leash is a shame because this park is so nice and typically a safe space to bring a dog for a walk. Being allowed to expand your trash and issues outside of your home/vehicle is disrespectful to others as well as the environment.

The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art in downtown St. Petersburg, FL is a captivating gallery showcasing contemporary Western, Native American, frontier, and wildlife art. The museum's exterior features meticulously placed sandstone blocks resembling artistically designed cliffs. Inside, visitors are greeted by a two-story waterfall and over 26,000 square feet of exhibit space dedicated to preserving traditional Old West American folk art.
I have wanted to come here for years, and I am so happy we made it. Wow, the amount of artwork hidden inside this gem was breathtaking. This museum is not to be missed, if you are a local, or visiting, make time for this museum, you will not regret it. We needed so much more time as we got there pretty late in the day, but $10 Tuesdays have my name all over them. The artwork is some of the most breathtaking I’ve seen. The artist’s various techniques were both hyper realistic and surreal all at the same time, and very unique. The landscapes, the way the mist and clouds were painted was really amazing and the colors the artists achieved and brushstrokes are just like I’ve not really seen before. I could’ve easily spent double the amount of time here.
Sarah B — Google review
We've been to many museums all across America. This is definitely one of the best. The architectural design of the museum is enough to put it at the top of the list. The exhibits were incredible, and there were far more paintings and statues than we anticipated. We look forward to taking visiting family and friends there in the future.

The art of the American West - and the spirit of its native peoples - come to life at the James Museum in St. Petersburg. It’s an absolute treasure, nestled in the quaint but urban downtown center of this coastal city. Steps from the cultural center of St. Pete, this modern homage to a by-gone era is a delightful journey for everyone. Take a solo tour or enjoy a family or group adventure. The artwork is divine, the stories filled with joy and sorrow, and the scenery of this lost land is preserved with dignity and majesty. The cafe and store are both worth perusing, and the bar is an authentic wooden fixture that conjures the saloons of Deadwood, where a sarsaparilla might pare with some tales of wandering ‘round the yellow roses of Texas. If you’re in St. Pete, do not miss this experience. And remember to hit the Dali Museum as well. They’re both reminders that this is an art colony, and there’s more to explore than just the beaches, water sports, and cuisine.

The James Museum truly exceeded our expectations! Our wedding was everything we had hoped for and more. The waterfall and bronze sculptures in the Arroyo added a special touch to our ceremony. Valeria was nothing less than amazing to work with! She was extremely helpful and very patient in answering our questions throughout the planning process. The James Museum was also very accommodating to our requests, which proved how much they truly care about their clients. Our guests really enjoyed the opportunity to explore the galleries during cocktail hour and complemented the unique atmosphere. It was truly the perfect venue for a night we’ll never forget.

Wonderful museum about American west. It freely expresses the tension between European American and Native American. The exhibit tries to achieve a historical accuracy through modern and contemporary artworks. The most surprising exhibit is about the Chinese immigrants who were invited by European Americans to build the railway. The brief introduction is available with business style presentation. Hence, we can found a relatively complete west picture in this museum.
Wei Z — Google review
Will return to this wonderfully curated museum of contemporary art. The museum has eight galleries, showcasing sculptures, paintings, jewelry, and other artifacts created by contemporary artists. From the Belknap family's journey from Ohio to Oregon in the 1840s, to Chinese railroad laborers, to jewelry, the Black Moccasin Meeting Lewis and Clark sculpture, and Clint Eastwood's spaghetti western painting. The $75m James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art was created by Tom and Mary James and opened in 2018. Thomas James (born 1942 or 43) is the chairman of Raymond James Financial, which was founded by his father, Robert James (1909-83). It's based in St. Pete. I think the firm is more like eTrade than Morgan Stanley.

Nestled in the heart of downtown, the St. Petersburg Museum of History is a treasure trove that chronicles the vibrant past of this charming city known as Sunshine City. For over a century, it has been dedicated to showcasing significant local stories, from the dawn of commercial aviation to Major League Baseball's spring training traditions. Visitors can marvel at an eclectic array of exhibits featuring everything from a two-headed calf and an ancient Egyptian mummy to a working replica of the Benoist XIV airboat.
Pretty neat little museum with small but valuable data and exhibits from st Pete construction and political history to ww2 and mlb history. It is very cheap and worth the visit. I would def recommend this place. Specially if you live in Florida.
Nelson R — Google review
We walked in early afternoon today as we have the NARM membership so in my mind, it would’ve been a free visit. The woman at the front desk was rude and condescending after I asked why this particular museum didn’t take it, “she said then everyone would just walk in for free”, yes that’s the point of having a reciprocal membership. Anyway, we paid the $15/person entrance fee, honestly it should’ve been $5/person. It took us less than one hr to browse the semi empty, cold museum. There is currently the largest baseball exhibit my husband liked, a lot of war photos and info, voting in St Pete women’s rights area and some local art. It is a decent museum to stop in if visiting the St Pete Pier and/or dining next door, Perry’s Porch…now that’s a 5⭐️ experience.
Melanie M — Google review
If you are hoping for a “history of Saint Petersburg, Florida” experience, you might be disappointed. This small museum, tucked away behind the massive Museum of Fine Arts at the pier, hosts mostly informative placards on the wall talking about various wars (Spanish American War, War in Afghanistan, Korean War), the women’s movement in St. Pete, and the history of art influence in St. Pete. It has very few actual historical artifacts (probably about a dozen total). The two coolest exhibits are the over 5,000 autographed baseballs on display and the 3,000 year old mummy. It took me just under an hour (at a slow pace) to see the whole thing and— for me— the mummy was the coolest thing in there. If you are bored and wanting to kill time (like I was) it could be worth the $15 admission. But this is not a “go out if you way” type museum like the Museum of Fine Arts is.
Hannah E — Google review
Cute little museum. Good way to spend an hour or so learning more about the area. It is near the shore side of the pier so not a long walk out to it, or you could ride the shuttle up to it. If driving you would have to find a lot or street spot & then walk out to it. Variety of exhibits on the pier/parks of the area, history of civil rights in the area, aviation history and a baseball collection. We found the history of the area and the changes over the years very interesting. We also found out about the augusta bricks we kept seeing around town. I did think that the $15 admission was a bit steep for all the bigger the museum was.
Cheryl K — Google review
We were in town for a few days for our 50th wedding anniversary. We are museum people. The St. Petersburg Museum of History - "Sharing Stories of the Sunshine City for 102 Years"- is located at the base of the new pier, While not a large museum, it is worth spending about an hour to see a gallery of Old Florida history, a tribute to the American soldier, and Florida women pioneers. The museum also features Schrader's Little Cooperstown, made up of nearly 5,000 baseballs and certified by Guinness World Records as the largest collection of its kind. Othet significant objects are a replica of the world's first commercial air boat, “The Benoist,” which flew from St. Petersburg to Tampa in 1914 and a 3,000-year-old mummy. Be sure to look at the sculpture of the newspaper boy outside the entry. It commemorates a newspaper contest, "The Sunshine Offer," that promised to give away newspapers to anyone every day that the sun did not shine in the ‘Burg. In a 76-year period, only 296 papers were given away. Hence the name: "The Sunshine City." If you go: Hours are Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday 12-5 p.m. Tickets: $15 adult (18+), $12 senior (65+), $9 military and veteran, teachers and students, and children under 6 are free. Look for the $2.00 off coupon found in the Discover Downtown Guide found everywhere. Only one coupon was needed for two of us; we combined a senior discount with the coupon. While parking is available at the pier (the Dolphin Lot is the closest to the museum), both the FREE Looper Trolley and Central Avenue Trolley stop at the base of the pier. From there, it is a short walk to the museum. If you ride the free trolley, please be sure to trip your driver who is committed to getting you safely to and from your destination.

I recently read a book on the history of St Petersburg which referenced this Museum several times. So I was inspired to take a Saturday and visit this place. Very nice museum. I enjoyed the exhibits including the special exhibit they had called Alligators and Oddities that was very interesting and very bizarre. Everything about alligators you could ever want to know. They had a great autographed baseball collection. I am not a baseball fan but I certainly enjoyed looking at that. The best part was the replica airplane from the first commercial airline in St Petersburg. Overall the museum told the story of the story of St Petersburg quite well. There were quite a few bits of information not in the book. Well worth a rainy Saturday.

After completing our Segway Tour we visited this museum. I use to coach baseball and have been a fan all my life. Our tour guide said if you love baseball that we should go. She was right. There is several interesting history displays here but the baseball exhibit was by far the most interesting to me.

Tropicana Field is the home of the Tampa Bay Rays and offers visitors the chance to see the Rays Touch Tank and a baseball museum. Located in downtown St. Petersburg, it is surrounded by cultural attractions such as museums, theaters, and parks. Nearby accommodations include elegantly appointed guestrooms with modern amenities like high-speed internet access and complimentary newspapers. Additionally, there are apartment options within walking distance of Tropicana Field that offer recreational facilities like a fitness center and a pool.
** They DO NOT have a box office. You must purchase tickets via the mlb app or other 3rd party ticket agent ** Had to see this place before it’s imploded. Thank you staff at Tropicana Field. Had an awesome time! Yes the ballpark is dated but it has so much charm and a very interesting history. Every employee we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Food and beverage prices on par with other events. Even the local police were very polite and helped move traffic the best I’ve ever seen. A wonderful night at the ballpark from start to finish.

The team wonderfully plays. Their nachos are yummy and a perfect baseball food. I am very excited receiving a ball signed by the Major League Baseball commoner. I enjoy eating Nestle dibs crunch ice cream bites. I wish to find baseball earrings. I enjoy petting the sting rays. ⚾️ 🎉

I’m a baseball fanatic and I’m going to every stadium. This journey was a little disappointing but had some good points. The game itself was exciting but the stadium is old and showing its signs of needing to be replaced. It’s very outdated, instead of walking around a stadium I felt like I was in a hallway of a school or something. The vending area had the best feature and worst feature both, best feature is you get your souvenir cup and fill it yourself, refills and everything, that is super great. The worst feature is the ordering process. No humans just little kiosk pads, you get the ticket out of it after you order with your number but then you wait in another line to hand your ticket in to a person then wait even longer for your stuff. It’s horrible, people waiting on food block the kiosk pad so people can’t order and it’s simply a mess, if I returned I would eat before and get nothing except walk around stuff because of the lines. Keep in mind there is not many fans at the games so I couldn’t imagine a sold out game or large crowd the place would be a mess. Anyway still great experience and the stingray tank in centerfield is a must, hopefully 2028 brings a new stadium.

The field is really nice. They just replaced the turf. The stadium is awesome too. It's a shame they want to replace it because it is very well cared for. Staff is friendly but word of advice, do not bring any backpack or bags at all to the security point. I misunderstood the bag rule because I thought it meant they could not be over a certain size so I brought a very small backpack for my kids things. This was not ok. I guess a reusable grocery sack is OK though. The stadium had a lot of restaurants and bars, but be prepared to spend $8 on a 20oz smart water and $15-18 for a beer. Very expensive. Overall we enjoyed the game and our seats were great behind the first base dugout.

I am on a quest to visit all MLB ballparks and this place, although pretty empty and not a lot of attendees, it's a great park. This was a great little ballpark with lots of things to see and explore. They have a great rotunda when you walk in and nice team store. They even have a sting ray touch tank in the outfield. Some of the food selections are not the best compared to other parks.......⚾️
Glenn D — Google review
We’ve been to the field a few times for games. It’s always clean and well organized. The team throws out at least 200+ baseballs to the kids in the stand every single game. The a/c is kicking and the lights in the dome are fun to watch. 10/10 will be going to more games.

This past weekend my son and I went to the "Trop" to see the Rays/Yankees games on Saturday and Sunday (Yes we are Yankees fans first but support the Rays when not playing the Yankees). I have some history of visiting Tropicana Field beginning in 2020 when I worked in St Pete less than a 1/2 mile from the Stadium and would walk over for games. After moving to the Orlando area I have attended several games over the past two decades. My experience this past weekend is consistent with all my previous experiences as a fan. (I have never played there so I cannot speak to the areas such as locker room/training facilities, catching pop-ups, or previous turf selections). I think the Stadium is very fan friendly - easy to navigate, lots of food options, good viewing from most areas, entertainment, activity areas for kids, plenty of rest rooms, and extremely well maintained and clean! We parked in lot 6 and purchased parking in advance (I strongly recommend that). Most importantly we arrived at least 2 hours early so traffic was not an issue and getting into stadium early gave time to walk around, watch warm-ups, and get something to eat. Most importantly staffing is plentiful, professional and helpful. They all get an A+ in my book!
Gary M — Google review
I love seeing the games here. It's an incredible value that everybody should take advantage of before it's gone. The stadium is very comfortable and easy to access. Happy to see the town has grown up all around it full of bars and condos and young folks everywhere really has been such a wonderful amenity for St Petersburg. The Baldwin group club level suites are definitely worth considering all you can eat food and beer. There was an after concert (jimmy eat world) after the Rays game it was just so much fun. I will be very sad when it's gone.

Upham Beach Park is a serene and picturesque destination located in the northern section of St. Pete Beach, Florida. Unlike its busier counterparts, this beach offers a wide expanse of white sandy shores backed by dunes, creating a tranquil setting for visitors. The area is known for dolphin sightings and light surfing opportunities, adding to its allure.
Ran out to catch the sunset, the pathway out to the beach was short and easy from the parking area, which was a bonus. Sand is smooth and clean, view was beautiful of course. The fog came rolling in as soon as the sun set, was quite a thing to witness! Short walk down the beach and some beach bars are opened back up again since the storm, enjoyed a beer in front of a heater and live music to cap the night. Will be back soon 🥰

Upham Beach Park has officially stolen my heart! It’s hands down the most beautiful and relaxing beach I’ve visited so far. From the moment you arrive, there’s this sense of calm that washes over you. The soft sand, gentle waves, and open space make it the perfect spot to unwind, whether you’re there for a full beach day or just a quiet sunset walk. Speaking of sunsets… they are absolutely breathtaking here. The way the sky lights up over the Gulf—it’s the kind of view you want to freeze in time. Peaceful, stunning, and never overcrowded, it’s my favorite place to watch the day fade. A major highlight of Upham Beach Park is Paradise Grille. This spot is a true gem. Their food and drinks are delicious! Fresh, casual, and just what you want when you’re relaxing by the water. Whether you're grabbing breakfast, lunch, or a frozen drink, they always hit the mark. The prices are super reasonable, and the customer service is outstanding. Everyone working there is friendly, fast, and genuinely kind, which just adds to the whole beachside vibe. If you’re looking for a beach that offers natural beauty, peaceful vibes, incredible sunsets, and great food & and drinks, just steps from your towel, Upham Beach Park is it! 🏖🌊🌯🥗🍹🤗🥰

Watching a wedding makes me think about the chances I haven’t taken and the moments where I wanted to move toward something real but timing and circumstances were working against me. It might come across as disinterest, though that’s far from the truth. The silence was never about not caring, it was about carrying more than most people realize. My heart still wants something genuine and I’ve been learning how to steady myself along the way. Life has a way of teaching patience when all you want is to act. Spending time here makes it easy to slow down, breathe and take it all in. Great views, calming waves and beautiful for a wedding!

Brewery

Green Bench Brewing Company, named after the iconic green benches that once lined St. Petersburg's streets, is a craft brewery that has been a part of the city's beer scene since 2013. The brewery specializes in IPAs and ales and offers its brews in a taproom and large beer garden. It was one of the first to arrive on the craft brewery scene in St. Pete, followed by other local favorites like St. Pete Brewing Company and Cycle breweries.
Green Bench Brewing is a really cool brewery and in a great area right off of Central Avenue in downtown St. Pete. We went on a weekend when there was a market day so it was insanely busy, but the worker who helped me was so kind in walking me through the beer flight options and telling me more about the brewery. I didn’t catch her name but everyone behind the bar were in good spirits. (no pun intended) I’m not a big beer drinker but I did enjoy getting to test a variety of IPA, light & dark ales. I enjoyed the honey saison & turbid 7 the best- if you like lighter ales with a citrus or fruity hint this is for you. Green Bench is definitely a place I’d come back to! They have a huge outdoor courtyard area that’s perfect for hanging out. Probably the worst part is just finding parking as it’s downtown but that’s really not even bad. Oh and definitely check out their Webbs Cellar building too for another set of meade & cider options that were excellent!

Excellent brewery with fantastic beer and chill vibes. We initially did flights since there were so many good options that we needed to try. My favorite was the Flamingo Fog hazy IPA which was a collaboration with TBBC. Everything we tried was delicious . Staff was friendly, informative and fast. Very comfortable space. Can’t wait to go back.

Green Bench Brewery is an absolute gem! The atmosphere here is second to none; warm, welcoming, and the perfect place to gather with friends and family. We recently hosted a baby shower outside at the brewery, and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The setting was beautiful, relaxed, and made the event feel truly special. The staff deserves just as much praise. They were friendly, inviting, and incredibly accommodating, making sure everything went off without a hitch. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel completely at ease so we could just enjoy the day. Whether you’re planning a special event or simply looking for a great place to hang out, Green Bench Brewery is a fantastic choice. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

Gizella Kopsick Palm Arboretum, located just north of Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg, is a serene 2-acre waterfront park showcasing over 500 palms and cycads from around the world. The lush tropical gardens were once a mini-golf course but have been transformed into a tranquil oasis with winding red brick paths, open green spaces for picnics, gazebos, benches, and drinking fountains.
Just take a moment to find the trail, and you will enter into a different world than the one of beach playing. This one is a wonderful world of palms! I have lived in Florida for 10 years now and had no idea of so many species of palms! I recommend the adventure club app to get to really know these trees and areas. My boyfriend and I seek arboretums out in every town we visit, each one has a different vibe, all good ones too! Highly recommend YOU find them hiding all around the United States. This one was special. It is home to a specific tree type, 800 species! What?! It was a beautiful day with an amazing person. Well, are you on your way there yet? Free always ends up being the best adventure times.

We had our wedding ceremony at Gizella Kopsick Palm Arboretum and it was the most beautiful location. For any brides looking for a wedding ceremony site, we had 160 guests and could have fit 20 more. Extremely cost effective, minimal need for decor, and secluded. The park itself is beautiful, lush, and green!

This palm arboretum along the ocean front contains over 800 specimens consisting of 235 different palms and 100 different cycads. It was established in 1975 by Gizella Kopsick and has grown over the years from several purchases and donations. There are specimens from many countries including Cuba, Jamaica, India, Mozambique, Madagascar, and many others. The arboretum is in 2 sections with a grass area between them. There is about .5 miles of brick paths, benches, water fountains and rest rooms. There are beautiful views of the ocean. The arboretum is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the St Pete pier. Big parking lot if you drive. Entry is free as is parking. Highly recommend the beautiful walk on the paved path along the ocean.
Mike Z — Google review
Visited the park on a peaceful Sunday afternoon and had such a wonderful experience. There’s no cost for entry or parking, which is a bonus, and the location itself is both convenient and tucked away enough to feel like a quiet escape. The views of the ocean are absolutely beautiful, calm, and perfect for anyone who loves being near the water. One of the most fascinating parts of the park is learning about the many different types of palm trees from around the world. It’s incredible to see so many variations in one place. The setting feels like a hidden tropical garden. I spent some time sitting on a park bench just soaking in the atmosphere. It’s a truly serene and grounding place. The park is spotless, clearly well-maintained, and offers a sense of calm that’s hard to find in busier areas. This is one of those spots that’s perfect for a romantic stroll, quiet reflection, or simply connecting with nature. I’d highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning ocean views and a refreshing sense of tranquility.

I have spent more breezy quiet midnights and golden hours here with my pup than I can count. It has been my solitary sanctuary; my church. And one of my dog's favorite parks when he was still able to see and walk about. Whenever I leave Florida, this place pulls at my heart to return before too long. I am ever so thankful to Gizella Kopsick for this gift to the people and precious little critters of magical St. Pete.

Love this section of North Shore Park! Great cobblestone path with opening to large grassy areas. Water fountains all have bowls for dogs as well, because it’s St Pete of course 🦮 There’s benches to rest in the shade under variety of palms during a walk along the bay ☀️

If you love palms, the unique way they bend in the wind but don’t break…the majesty of a Gebang Palm or the cute petticoat palm, there are so many species here. Interesting fruits and friendly squirrels. Nice breeze coming off the water even in August. Clear walking path. This can be one stop on a very enjoyable walk through Northshore Park around the Vinoy and down along the water to the Pier. It’s a couple miles and a beautiful walk often seeing dolphins off the seawall, enjoying the 1920s architecture, the cool yachts and the warm community vibe.

Duke Energy Center for the Arts - Mahaffey Theater is a theater in downtown Saint Petersburg, Florida that offers a variety of events. The theater has comfortable box seats and a waterfront view which makes it an excellent place to see live music or theatrical performances.
We have sat through many events at the Mahaffey Theater from the very front to the very back. There really isn't a bad seat in the place. If you sit in the pit (right up front) , you will need to look up or to the side if you aren't in the middle. They serve alcohol and have several bars. The bars to the side usually have smaller lines.

Nice venue with great views. Even the back sections feel close to the action. Staff was not very helpful with navigating the theater and the no camera policy sucks. It was built on the site of the city's first railway pier and offers various amenities such as a playground, picnic shelter, boat ramps, and restrooms. The park spans 14.7 acres and is nestled between two yacht basins, providing stunning views of Tampa Bay and the New Pier.
2024/01 The less-visited pier compared to St. Pete's Pier. Less amenities, more peaceful, but with a lot of the same nice views of the bay and skyline.

Visited on July 4th for the fireworks. Great atmosphere and the fact that you can park deep inside the park is great

Demens Landing Park was a nice area along side St Petersburg Pier. Lots of areas to enjoy the water front. Plenty of free time limited parking

A beautiful environment filled with magnificent boats, beautiful water and an exceptional view. Just being there is so relaxing. I could feel the stress of life's situations slowly melt away in just the short time I was there. I encourage everyone go check it out. I wish they had more general parking though. Plenty of parking for those with a marina permits, but not for everyday people.

Very nice views. Plus a marina, and I really enjoy looking at yachts.

The Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement, located in St. Petersburg, FL, is a unique institution dedicated to showcasing the American Arts and Crafts movement. After over five years of construction delays, this museum will finally open its doors as the world's first museum solely focused on this artistic shift.
The architecture of this museum is not to be missed. This single collector put together an amazing agglomeration of works from the Arts and crafts. This includes extensive pottery, furniture, lighting, and other architectural elements of the era. The inside of the museum is incredibly well thought out and one of the finest designed museums we have ever visited anywhere. The staff was very helpful and nice, there is a good Museum Store and cafe. We were really impressed with this Museum and we travel the world seeing museums. What a gem.
Joel D — Google review
Better than I even built it up to be. The work runs the gamut from simpler pottery to LCT glass and everything in-between. I was there for a little over 2 hours and could have spent 2 more easily. The exhibits were both beautiful and educational. Can't recommend highly recommend it highly enough.

I absolutely enjoyed this museum to the Max… 5 levels (got my steps in) & each floor with unique exhibits, art, vintage displays & the view was spectacular all around. The admission was reasonable, the cafe staff were super pleasant & the space in this beautiful building is breathtaking-super clean, accessible bathrooms on all floors… walked every inch of the museum didn’t want to miss anything-truly an overall wonderful outing!! Highly recommended for all museum lovers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An incredible venue and museum and one of the best I have ever visited anywhere! The architecturally stunning building is reminiscent of the Guggenheim in NYC. This museum opened in 2021 and is 140,000 sq ft and 5 floors. A vast collection from the American Arts and Crafts Movement from 1880 to 1930. Beautifully curated furniture, pottery, lamps and lighting, paintings, woodblock prints, iron and copper works, tiles, etc. An amazing experience. I was there for 3 hours and didn’t make it to the 5th floor. I will be back.
Mike Z — Google review
I highly recommend coming to this museum. This staff here are really nice. Their cafe has a lot of food options which is rare for a museum. They made a great ice coffee. I was obsessed over the decorative arts and the frame exhibition. I am a NARM member so I was able to come in for free.
Sofia P — Google review
I would have to call it a spectacular museum. The building itself has a 5 story atrium. The collection contains items from furniture to lamps and other things like iron and copper works from the Arts and Crafts era at the beginning of the 20th century.
Ronald S — Google review
I was a little disappointed. There are 5 floors on the museum with so much empty space. Maybe I expected too much? Rather than being impressive the pieces felt more like ordinary, it felt like visiting a paid antique shop.
Prodoor313 — Google review
This is a really unique and weird museum and we LOVED it. They had objects that I’ve never seen displayed in a museum before, including a large selection of handmade tile. The fire place mantles and lamps were our favorite part! Definitely a fun afternoon stop.

The Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center offers an intriguing exhibit called "Snakes of the Estuary," showcasing native snakes and their ecological importance. The center also provides insight into the estuary's history and conservation efforts, highlighting its pivotal role in the area. Visitors can enjoy interactive experiences such as feeding seahorses and interacting with marine creatures in a touch tank. Additionally, they can join engaging eco tours led by knowledgeable marine biologists to further explore the surrounding wildlife.
Excellent morning snorkeling in Tampa Bay, nice boat ride out to sandbar with dolphins circling around. Beautiful wildlife in the water and the air. Highly recommend this trip! Staff allowed us to gently remove wildlife out of the water, put them into a clear container with salt water to teach us about them. Saw a lot of new creatures!

I started out by taking the Tampa Bay day time bird cruise myself on Monday, just to kind of go out on the boat. To find a little bit about it as I have a high-functioning child that's very interested in zoology. I wanted to see exactly what what happened before we decided to go snorkeling not only was Grace very informative on the tour, but Capt. Bob was absolutely amazing. Explaining things to everybody and just making everybody feel safe. I forget the young lady's name that was working with Grace that day. She was an intern as she was also learning. But we were trying to stay away from a storm that day, and Capt. Bob made sure everybody was informed of what was going on, because the storm rolled in out of nowhere. And he kept everybody 100% safe. Safe. Enough to where I felt very comfortable coming back Saturday and doing the snorkeling tour with my son and my daughter-in-law. Let me tell you what again Grace. Was there hands down amazing!!! She knows her stuff, very interesting facts finding out from her and she made my son even more interested now working in water. So living in Missouri and traveling to Tampa every 3 months, I have a feeling. This will be on our list every time we come, because he had an absolute blast. So did I honestly, my daughter in law has now also found her new fun time.Release she loved the snorkeling. I can't wait to do it again and can't wait to see you guys again. I wish I could say I got some snorkeling tour photos, but I didn't, but I did get some regular boat tours. We didn't bring an underwater camera this time.I'm kind of glad we didn't because it was kind of fun but it was a little scary too not knowing where your feet were gonna step. You can see the crazy storm that rolled in. Once we got out into the bay and captain Bob did amazing, keeping us away from that storm.

My family and I had a wonderful time on this eco boat tour! We saw lots of birds and dolphins and got to learn a bunch about the bay- we even got to see some sealife up close when they did a net pull! 10/10 recommend for any locals or out of towners! Great way to spend a beautiful afternoon on the water checking out the beauty of the bay.
Elis S — Google review
We had the best crew ever! Brooke, Audrey, Lexi, Sydney, Emma and Kyra were sooooo knowledgeable and we loved learning from them. My teen wants to study biology so it was so cool for her to take part in real research and ask the crew questions. She felt so special 🥰 Thank you for all the knowledge and for your love of conservation and all the beautiful creatures of the sea. Would highly recommend this excursion to anyone who loves to learn!

We enjoyed visiting here and had fun doing the scavenger hunt. Loved the touch tank and learning about the animals there. A beautiful establishment aimed at education. There was a sensory sand bin for children I thought was a really nice thing. I learned some new facts about the waters surrounding Tampa bay and look forward to coming back in the future. I am excited for future events that take place here and hope to attend a dissection class. Would also be interested in the eco tours they offer. The membership was a great deal and offered a lot of good perks. Will definitely be returning and recommending to my friends!

This is a cute, small interactive discovery center in the Pier area, in fact you can take the tram for a quick ride w/ the kiddos. It’s worth a visit as each child gets a scavenger hunt sheet which it took my 2 and 4 yr old about 30 mins to find everything. Adults are $8 and children $3, free though w/ some reciprocal memberships(Great Explorations is one). Paid parking in lot w/ park mobile app, easy and affordable.
Melanie M — Google review
Very cool little discovery center to stop by when you are visiting St Pete’s Pier! Entry was $8 for an adult. In our experience, there was no need to buy tickets in advance, we just walked in and purchased them. It was very cool to see the lined seahorses, and discovery center employees were very kind and told us a bit about the animals.
Olivia M — Google review
If you can find some time to come here definitely do! Every single person I talked to was so friendly and passionate about the different animals here. It’s small but honestly worth coming in and checking out. We happened to come in at a time where there was going to be a squid dissection. We went, thinking it was going to be one staff demonstrating. It was actually us who would be dissecting with guidance from staff who taught us a lot!! I would love to go again

Highly recommend stopping by for a delightful experience, whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for a great place to lounge and enjoy good company!

We are always looking for places to visit that we've not seen before. Have no idea how we didn't catch this earlier. Nice cozy vibe and very friendly, and helpful, staff. We made a visit to check out some different style wine and glad we did. Stayed for a complimentary tasting session and left with some nice offerings. Hannah was our tasting host and she does an excellent job of explaining each sample and providing guidance on the sampling and other product uses. All the wines are made from real fruits, mostly from Florida, with some outsourcing as necessary. But all are non-grape wines. The Guava wine is simply amazing. The pineapple will blow your mind. The orange wine slushie mix sample we had had all those memories of creamcicles and the old style baby aspirins. Just so good. Brought home a few items and will be enjoying them very soon. Look forward to coming back as there are just so many good choices here.

Overall, mine and my wife's experience wasn't bad. The establishment is very cute and offers a nice selection of wines, a beautiful little shop, and a very nice seating area with a good atmosphere. The wine expert that served us was very sweet and attentive and knew her stuff. My wife ordered a flight of wine, which came in 4 smaller glasses on the back of a turtle (see photo), which was adorable! The reason for 3 stars is that the size of the glasses was a lot smaller than expected for $15. We did not feel like we were getting our money's worth.. might be so.ething for management to think about... P.S. we bought 3 bottles of wine so it wasn't so bad!

My wife and I stumbled upon Florida Orange Groves Winery after our original plans in St. Pete fell through, and it turned out to be a happy accident! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and relaxed. Greg guided us through our wine tasting and was an absolute pleasure—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun. We also opted for the charcuterie board to pair with the tasting, and I highly recommend it—it really enhances the flavors of the wines and makes the visit feel extra special. If you’re looking for a laid-back, enjoyable wine tasting in the area, this place is a gem. We left smiling and will definitely be back!

Great experience with the wine tasting and relaxed with a flight and couple of glasses of wine. The variety is amazing. Flavors are delicious and lush. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area. Will likely order a few bottles to be shipped home. 🍷 😋

We bought a voucher from Groupon for four as a fun activity to do and we are SO glad we did. Our tour guide was Elle and she was honestly amazing. She was so friendly and welcoming and really gave us a feeling for Florida Orange Groves Winery. Elle was knowledgeable about the brand and was obviously a huge fan of the wine they make (for good reason) so her passion for the company really shone through, which was a joy to share. Thank you, Elle. You're an asset to FOGW! The tour was great and informative but we were really there for the wine tasting which did not disappoint. We had 6 tasters of fruit wine and 3 tasters of wine slush and all of them were delicious. We each got to select a can of wine to take home so we picked our favourites (which admittedly was hard to choose). I've attached a picture of the freebies that came with our ticket, including the cans we chose. It was under $100 for all four of us including all of the freebies so it is absolutely worth visiting. The building itself is really lovely and the seating area is so comfortable. They sell some great products and lovely keepsakes all at a reasonable price. All in all, a fantastic day and we would all highly recommend paying them a visit. The wine is so delicious and moreish so prepare yourselves to want more!

Additionally, the park boasts an observation tower providing stunning views of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, the Gulf of Mexico, and Boca Ciega Bay.
Beautiful park, children's playground (covered) picnic areas, trails. The gazebo steps are damaged, so it is unaccessible at this time. The boat ramps are also closed due to damages from the hurricanes.

Maximo Park is now one of our favorite outdoor spots! It has everything: boat ramps, free parking, shaded walking paths, picnic areas with grills, a little beach, a playground, and even disc golf. It’s super peaceful and never feels too crowded. The walking trails are especially lovely—winding, shaded, and full of nature. We brought our cat for a walk (on leash, of course) and he loved it. Whether you’re out for a relaxing stroll, a family picnic, or a little waterfront time, Maximo is a total win. Great vibe, great views, and totally kitten-approved!

This playground is perfect for a hot summer day as it’s fully covered except for the swings in direct sunlight and always hoping for that summer waterfront breeze to roll thru. This park is fenced in, great for ages 1-6 and bug spray is a must. There is an observation tower across the street that is still closed from hurricanes, bummer and some shaded pathways to explore. Bathrooms, picnic tables, disc golf and boat trailer parking for your water adventures.

Unfortunately i have to give a 1 star review. This used to be a fun challenging course. Now ith the new design poorly thought out. It has become quite bad. The changes made unfortunately are lazy and unispired. It seems as though the main designer has never played disc golf. Hole like 3 and 4 were fun and challenging. Hole 11 (formerly 10, in early 2000's) 14, and especially 15 were again just not very good ideas. This course was once great, the holes were all very pretty, forced you to consider each shot, and most of all fun. So long to what was a great course.

Lots of acreage & greenery!! More than one kayak/canoe launch. Tons of picnic tables & shelters. You can reserve one as well, which is nice for outdoor gatherings. My "Go to" spot when I want to put kayak in the water either to fish or paddle (fishing sucks most of the time). It's easy to get in and out and there's an actual launch there so you can get away from careless boat drivers. There's even freshwater available to rinse kayak off, just bring your own hose.
Ricky J — Google review
Love this place. I could go here (almost do) every single day. It's a nice drive into the park, windy roads. First you will see a parking lot on the left where there is a memorial you can go look at. It has a giant sun dial! If you keep going you will see a place to launch kayaks where I do frequently. Clean bathrooms, enough space so you're not on top of everyone. Nice little beach you can go to also.

GREAT SPOT FOR PADDLE BOARDING AND KYAKING! There's a great little access at the very end of the park. It's a long drive, but its beautiful, so it goes by quick. There's a rack and fresh water hose to rinse your gear and allow it to dry while you load up the car. I feel like I'm sharing a secret that I should keep to myself, but that'd be selfish. This spot can't be beat for paddleboarding out to the islands, islands, and perfect for paddling with our dolphin friends.

Beautiful grounds well kept. I've been coming here every Sunday to pay respect to my father, who's a retired vet for the past 5 years. After I visit I go to the lake to sit and watch the wildlife. There's also a walking trail around the pond. If you're there every beginning of the hour, you'll hear the chapel bells go off. This is where I come to talk to my father and find peace. 🙏🇺🇸💖 Miss and love you forever Pops

This park is clean with good parking options. Plenty of picnic areas and small playgrounds. Not to much in the way of walking trails, but on a quiet day, the perimeter road serves as a walking path. Albert Whitted Park in St. Pete is a peaceful waterfront gem with amazing views of Tampa Bay and the small planes taking off from the nearby airport. It’s a great spot to unwind, take a stroll, or bring a picnic. The open green space is perfect for families, and there’s a fun playground area for kids to enjoy. You’ll often see people walking their dogs, jogging, or just soaking in the views of boats and planes. The location is ideal right near the Dali Museum and the St. Pete Pier. It’s clean, quiet, and feels like a little escape right in the middle of the city. A relaxing place to watch the world go by.

Great little park. Pros: -beautiful view of the bay: airplanes, sailboats, dolphins, pier, sunset -Nearby restroom Cons: -Limited free parking. There are maybe 4 free playground spots then you can parked in the metered spots in case those are full. -The city may block car entry to the street during event set up, and break down. There have been maybe two occasions where we could not park there and the next closest parking is pretty far. -Limited shade -Can get buggy -There can be some interesting characters camped out at nearby shelters but they do not bother the playground

Whether you want to watch sail boats, airplanes or take in a picnic or children's play time, you're arrived at the ideal place. Just relax and have fun as you let your senses take in what surrounds you. A wonderful spot for children and grown up children alike. The play area has beautiful equipment with an avionics theme and kids seem to enjoy their imaginary playtime. Be a kid for a day and you would be hooked to return.

We loved this playground! Fenced in with magnetic gate. Pay to park. Very clean and modern airport themed playground equipment. Less busy than the bigger pier playground nearby but still has plenty of space activities with spots of shade here and there. Just outside the playground area is patch of shady trees great for relaxing in a hammock if you have one. There is also a little area further down to fish from. Great spot to watch boats and planes coming and going in the sunset.

Nice area for a picnic, walk, and watch planes. There is a great playground for the kids that overlooks the water. If you like Yachts... you will enjoy the view.
Polly H — Google review
We were visiting from out of town. This was such a fun park! My 5 year old son loved it. Bring sunscreen and water. There is no shade and the slides did get pretty hot by 11 am. The park is at the end of a pier and is between a yacht club and an airport. My son loved to watch the student sailors learning how to sail in the bay as well as the small bi-planes as well as small private planes taking off and landing at various times. He had a blast climbing the "control tower" as well as flying the "medical plane" and the "jumbo jet". Lots of slides, ladders and steps to get the wiggles out. Also there a a public restroom near by. It's semi-clean and usable. There is a fence that goes around the whole park. It is not a well locked gate, just a typical u-shaped lock to easily lift and open. A very curious toddler could probably open it. This park kept my son occupied for about an hour and a half. So we'll worth it. The park is 5 min from John Hopkins All Children's and about 10 minutes from the Staybridge hotel downtown St. Petersburg. There is limited free parking right by the park and some metered parking closer to the bathroom.

Nestled in the heart of Downtown St. Petersburg, the American Stage Theatre Company has been a cultural gem since its inception in 1977. This vibrant regional theater offers an array of year-round performances in its modern Raymond James Theatre, which seats 182 guests comfortably. Each spring, audiences can also enjoy the delightful American Stage in the Park production, adding a unique outdoor experience to their theatrical journey.
This theater is great. Every seat has an excellent view. The stage is right there and you feel a part of the production. I look forward to the play is the park every year. Sometimes they have missed the mark with these productions (I'm looking at you Spelling Bee) but the last couple yrs have been so impressive (the acting and singing for Beauty and the Beast was definitely A+ amazing). I love that they have reduced prices some nights. It makes theater accessible to all.

I saw the outdoor production of Hair at Demen's Landing. Beautiful night to be outdoors watching the energetic rendition of the groundbreaking 60's musical. The stage set up was great, the band did an awesome job and the actors were engaging. The problem I had was with the preset seat I purchased, C3. For some reason even though the production is in a park, the seats are so close together that you can't get out of the row without either stepping on the people's feet or catching the back leg of the chair of the next row, think trying to get out of the window seat on a plane close. I'm pretty agile but after tripping my way out of the row into the aisle at break time I opted not to return to my seat both because it was aggravating that the seats were set that close in the first place and that the average attendee for that show either can't or won't try to move.

We saw Beauty and the Beast in the park this weekend and we had an incredible time. The talent was stunning and the perfect weather made for a great night on the water. Some of the mics (Belles in particular) were clipping badly during the power ballads, but that is me being nitpicky. The cast was excellent. I wish there was a little more info about the space before buying tickets. As an out of Towner it seemed like the chairs were going to be far away or obstructed so we opted for the blanket seats. We had a wonderful time but we would have been far more comfortable in the chairs instead. We certainly look forward to returning to a show next time we're in town!

freeFall Theatre offers a diverse range of performances, from familiar plays to new musicals and offbeat productions. Visitors have praised the stellar one-man performance in "Love to Eat," as well as the exceptional treatment by the Operations Manager when there was an issue with tickets. The theater's holiday show, "The Night Before," has been described as the best in the area, with hilarious moments and phenomenal music.
The Actors, writers, directors, set designers, and tech people at FreeFall are amazing. They continue to surprise me with creative and exciting new productions.

Received tickets to “Tell Me On A Sunday” from my daughter. We weren’t certain what to expect from a small local theatre after visiting several in the area. This show did not disappoint! If all of the performances are this high caliber, this is the theatre to attend. We will be definitely be attending future shows.

This wonderful black box style theatre has a wonderful local following. I most recently saw the The Trials and Life of Ruth Bader Ginsberg- a one woman show. It was terrific. I believe it is an equity theatre and between local talent and talent brought it - it is always a great experience.

Went to a 2pm show on a Saturday! I'm new to theatre so I was pretty open minded. Finding the location was easy. We already had our tickets so when we walked up, the attendant just took our names. It's a small theatre so every seat is a good one. You can't get lost, the box office, bathrooms, and theatre are all right there. It is community theatre, and the play was a fable with the same 5 characters. The show was about an hour and ten minutes long. I was engaged the entire time! I can't wait until the next viewing! We already have our tickets! Just another hidden gem in this amazing city!

Win! Derby at Historic Derby Lane St Petersburg is a year-round destination offering greyhound racing, poker tournaments, and an American restaurant with dinner buffets. While live greyhound racing has been banned due to Amendment 13, visitors can still enjoy simulcasts of races from across the nation. The venue does not offer electronic gaming devices but provides an unforgettable experience with gourmet dining options and craft drinks.
It is simply amazing to watch these beautiful hounds run. Poetry in motion !! As this historic place nears it's end as a Greyhound Track, it seems like a sad shell of what it once was in it's heyday. I could only imagine what it would have been like in the days when Babe Ruth and Micky Mantle came to the track. A bygone era, soon to be completely erased. It was very enjoyable and interesting to spend time there today. I suggest that if you ever wanted to see Greyhounds run, you make plans and go asap. I am not a gambler so the poker etc was not a draw to me. However, watching people play poker is quite interesting. If you enjoy people watching, it's not a bad place to be.... I wish all the people who work there with the dogs the best of luck. I am sorry that you have lost your "jobs". I know caring for the dog's is far more than just a job to you. Best wishes.

Upon entering for our event did nor see any signs for a place to eat. All we saw was addicted worn out people that looked as if they had been there for several days. Employees did not help or speak much. They just stood there in there assigned area waiting to get off of their shift. Unenthusiastic and lack of caring or wanting to actually be there. People looked dismal and therefore we left as quickly as possible and did not play games or decide to eat there! Why would you want to when no one seems to care?

My wife and I started coming here a couple of months ago. We love playing poker—and it just feels like a better fit for us than Hard Rock. Overall, we really enjoy the place! However, a few times when we’ve arrived or were leaving for the night, we noticed something that made us uncomfortable. There’s a blonde girl we’ve seen a couple of times—she walks out, gets into another vehicle, then hops out again a few minutes later. We even heard someone inside call her name, something like Joann or Joni—it wasn’t a common name. It just gave off a strange vibe, almost like something wasn’t right, so we decided to stay away for a bit. Also, while the food is generally good, we’ve had it come out cold a few times. We don’t like to complain, but it’s happened enough to mention. Maybe we’ll give it another try in a month or so—once we’ve recovered a little from the money we lost

Best Payouts for Table Games in All Southwest FL! Yes! Even Seminole 👎👎 Jackpots are Always At or Close to Six Figures and That's Betting the Table Minimums, Which are Usually $5! Dealers are Engaging, Knowledgeable, Lively and Always Willing to Help or Explain Whatever Questions Pop Up!! Remember Players 🤔 Dealers are Only the Messengers! Being Nasty to Them Will Never Get You Anything Good (Karma 😝) Blame the 'Poker Gods' for Your Ill Fated Bad Cards or Deals! If I Had One Bad Thing to Say About Derby Lane, It Would Be My Experience with Their So Called and Advertised 'Free Drinks While Playing Table Games'. I've Visited at Vary Days and Times of the Week and Encountered a Lack of Cocktail Service (1 or 2 Servers), Delayed Service (5 or 10 Min Wait) and Sporadic Service (15 to 30 Mins to Return). And, I Know Your Going to Ask If the Dealers Called for Cocktail Service When Requested and the Answer was Always. But in My Experience and Opinion, It Made Absolutely No Difference 😒 Most of the Time I Just Give Up, Go to the Bar and Get It Myself 🙃 The Bar Service Isn't A Whole Lot Better (No the Drinks Are Great 🥴), But Because Unfortunately the Bartenders I've Had the Pleasure of Serving Me Always Look Miserable 😖 When I'm Standing at the Bar for 5 Minutes (Making Eye Contact with the Bartenders), Common Courtesy Dictates that the Bartenders at Least Acknowledge Your Presence (Even If It's to Say "I'll Be With You As Soon As Possible"). With Regards to the Bar/Bartenders Service, I Noticed What Seemed to Me as 'Regulars' Received Quicker Service Than Those Who Would Just Walk Up to Request a Drink. To Finalize My Review I'll Rank the Poker Rooms and Casino I Visit Often From #1 to #3. -Table Game Payouts (Ultimate Texas Holdem, Deuces Wild, Three Card Poker, Etc): 1. Derby Lane 2. Seminole Hard Rock 3. One Eyed Jacks (Sarasota) -Texas Holdem ($1/$2 No Limit - Game Action/Play) 1. One Eyed Jacks (Sarasota) 2. Derby Lane 3. Seminole Hard Rock -Dealers (All Games) 1. One Eyed Jacks 2. Derby Lane 3. Seminole Hard Rock -Bar/Bartenders/Cocktail Service (Free, Paid & Cost) 1. One Eyed Jacks 2. Seminole Hard Rock 3. Derby Lane -Availability (Days & Times) 1. Seminole Hard Rock (Always 24 Hours) 2. Derby Lane (24 Hours Thursday - Sunday) 3. One Eyed Jacks (3am Thursday - Sunday) I Highly Recommend Derby Lane for Table Games Listed Above, Before Going to Seminole Hard Rock Especially If You're in the Tampa Bay Area. My Drive to Derby Lane is Usually An Hour and a Half from Sarasota with Minimal Traffic But Well Worth It!

The Skyway Fishing Pier State Park is a popular fishing spot located on the north and south sides of Tampa Bay. The pier stretches 4 miles into the bay, and offers excellent views of the sunset and diverse species of fish that can be caught 24/7.
This was absolutely a beautiful and (mostly) well kept place. There are ALWAYS people who leave a mess, but I saw other people, besides myself, cleaning up after the people who were disrespectful. It is absolutely gorgeous and there are so many places along the route to pull right up to the seaside and get your feet in the water or throw out a fishing line from the sand.

Great fishing if you know what you're doing. You get to see a lot of awesome sea life! I saw a giant sea turtle, various sharks, squid, and many different schools of fish. The only bad thing is keeping the dolphins off of your fish. Each pier has a bait shop with snacks and gear, and there are plenty of restrooms. It gets crowded on the weekends and some people don't respect your space, but most are cool and I make friends every time I go out there.
Sandman S — Google review
A great place to go fishing (lots different fishes) and catch the sunsets. A great place to relax and chill. There’s a bait shop with some limited snacks. Also has bathrooms and a shelter area at the end of the north pier with cover and picnic tables. Has enough parking area and maintenance people that keep the place clean. You do have to pay for the entrance (cash only) to go to the deeper waters. If you don’t want to pay for the entrance, you can fish around the rest area shallow waters.

Fish bay side during flood tide for snook at North Skyway Pier. Cast paddle tails near pylons with 1/0 circle hook and sinker rig. Target 6” off bottom in deeper areas, 1” in shallows. Use quiet braid (Sufix 832) with 20lb fluoro leader. Night bite peaks at moonrise; avoid noisy retrieves. Watch for tarpon near pilings. Stay patient, adjust depth.

The Palladium Theater in St. Petersburg is a grand performing arts center housed in a former church dating back to 1925. The venue consists of two spaces: the 850-seat Hough Hall and the intimate 175-seat The Side Door cabaret, both known for hosting a wide range of performances including classical, jazz, blues, rock, country, opera, dance, comedy and literary events.
Saw the Rachel Z trio with Jonathan Toscano and Omar Hakim at this lovely venue in Tampa. Cozy and big enough for a crowd. Will definitely be checking for future events here.

Great place to see a show! Nice old vintage theater. Hoping they get some better live classic bands again. Lately it seems like they've been focusing on tribute shows and the Florida Orchestra. A few years back I saw The Church and Renaissance there. Both shows were wonderful. Hopefully they'll bring in more of those type of bands.

The concert was amazing. I was at this place 2 times, and the huge problem is no a/c or proper ventilation at the whole building. About 1 hour after each she is getting so hot that you started sweating and dreaming to get out as soon as possible instead of enjoying the show unfortunately

The stadium is well-maintained and offers easy parking options, including on-street parking and nearby garages. Additionally, it hosts a weekend farmer's market and benefits from a refreshing breeze due to its proximity to the water.

Al Lang Stadium is a really cool place to catch a Rowdies game. I’m not a diehard fan, but every time I’ve gone, I’ve had a great time. The vibe is super laid-back, and the crowd brings just the right amount of energy without it being overwhelming. The location right on the water is awesome. You get these amazing sunset views during the game, and it honestly makes the whole experience even better. It’s one of those spots where you can enjoy the game and just relax at the same time. The stadium is easy to get around, and the seats have a good view from almost anywhere. Food and drinks are decent, and getting in and out isn’t too much of a hassle, even being downtown. Overall, it’s a fun night out whether you’re into soccer or just looking for something different to do in St. Pete. Definitely recommend checking it out.

*From Converted Baseball Field to Fun Professional Futbol Pitch* Al Lang Stadium is quickly becoming one of my favorite sporting venues. Not because of a state of the art facility or crazy luxury opportunities but, because in a rate occasion the value is fair and doesn’t feel like a gouge to me or my family. Now that doesn’t mean this place is cheap when it comes to food, alcohol and clothing but, it is a fair price for what you get. What really makes this location shine is actually the team and culture of the Rowdies. This team has great support from their fans and the passion I experienced was well worth the price of entry. This venue is family friendly from seating, atmosphere, and most importantly financial. This place is fun and full of buzz when the Rowdies are their for a home game. If you have a child that plays soccer then follow the team on Instagram and find out when the team holds free clinics. It is so Worth the experience. From getting coaching from players to getting an autograph, it’s awesome! The memories created on our last trip will last a lifetime. If you’ve never been and want to try something different with the family on a Saturday night. I can’t recommend this place more!

Nestled in downtown St. Petersburg, Pinellas Ale Works Brewery, affectionately known as PAW, is a renowned dog-friendly establishment that offers an array of craft beers such as the CocoMutt and Howlin. The brewery hosts live music events and fundraisers for local animal charities in Pinellas County. With its extensive tap list and ever-changing offerings, PAW provides a vibrant atmosphere with activities like trivia nights and dog-themed parties.
Pinellas Ale Works (PAW) is hands down one of the best craft breweries in St. Pete! 🍺🐶 Located in the heart of the Grand Central District, this dog-friendly brewery has an awesome atmosphere with a spacious air-conditioned taproom and a shaded outdoor beer garden—perfect for enjoying a cold beer with friends (furry ones included!). The beer selection is incredible—over 38 rotating taps and special releases with something for everyone. Standouts include the (Milk Bone) Nitro Sweet Stout, packed with chocolate and coffee notes, and the Harolds, a crisp, easy-drinking classic with slight herbal note. Their award-winning brews are a must-try! 🍻 Beyond great beer, PAW is a fun community hangout, offering trivia nights, board games, darts, and live music. They also have food trucks, so you can grab a bite while sipping your brew. The service is top-notch, with friendly bartenders who know their stuff and help you find the perfect beer. The entire place is clean, inviting, and has great parking, making it an easy stop for both locals and visitors. If you're in St. Pete and love craft beer, PAW is a must-visit! Highly recommend!

Solid beer selection with a perfect niche. It turns out 90% of the time people who love dogs also love beer. And they capitalized on it with a fun dog theme to their brewery… - This place is dog friendly AND cat friendly I have it on good authority that anything but snakes and spiders is generally welcome… I had the puppy breath IPA and it’s great it’s their hazy ipa with nice fruit notes not too bitter and still a 7%abv not bad… They have ample seating, indoor and outdoor and OK amount of TVs but you’d probably be more focused on your dog when you’re here they have a small stage outdoors for performances and it looked like they had a separate indoor venue. I got there late and couldn’t exactly explore, but it did have a sign that said event so maybe it’s for reservations or Other events. Overall this place is great. Staff is friendly. Beers are tasty. They have two old-school dart boards with the metal tips and boardgames which if you know me is a key component and they’re also off the beaten path so there’s not as much drunk and madness if you were to come on a weekend. Overall definitely worth a visit

I visited the St. Petersburg region and attended an early Sunday morning mass at the Catholic church Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle. The church is incredibly stunning, rivaling even St. Johns Cathedral in Savannah, with its blend of modernity and old world charm. I had a chance to speak with the approachable priest after the service and expressed my interest in learning about the church's history during my next visit.
We attended the opening service and Mass for the Jubilee Year 2025 that began with a procession of all attendees followed by a special service and Mass. Note that communion is offered by host not wine. The Cathedral is decorated in tastefully, symbolically simplistic style with a partial in-the-round layout with comfortable seating. The altar offers a large carved crucifix and the carved stations of the cross adorn some walls. The huge choir area offers several stacked rows for choir members, a large area for instruments, an organ, and a baby grand piano. In a separate area, a replica of La Pieta stands alone. Two separate small shrines offer places to pray and light special intention candles. The traditional "cry room" or children's room is large with TV and separate entrance with ramp access with natural sunlight. The parish offers a robust calendar of rosary, adorations, mass, confessions, and programs for children, youth, men, women, and special interest groups. Livestream services are accessible at the website. Accessible venue with accessible van access parking and no curbs and ramp entry. The women's lounge includes a bride's room, a separate accessible restroom with 5 ft x 5 ft area, grab bars, and standard restrooms. I did not find a groom's room. The Cathedral is a majestic place that is simultaneously very welcoming, warm, and spiritual.

This is by far the most beautiful and amazing Catholic church I’ve ever been to. The priests were amazing and the parish family was very welcoming. I plan to return soon!

I recently had the honor of attending my goddaughter’s baptism at the Cathedral of St. Jude, and Father Tonino made the whole experience truly unforgettable. His warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit made the ceremony feel so special and personal. He brought so much love and even a little fun to the moment, and we all felt very grateful to be part of such a beautiful service. Thank you, Father Tonino, for making that day so meaningful for our family. Highly recommended. 💛

Bring your winter coat from up North, the church was freezing cold for the Chrism Mass making it uncomfortable for individuals! My wife has a rare genetic disorder and it effected her greatly as well as some of the elderly parishioners sitting around us made similar comments. I have been in property management all my life and this church you thought was being cooled for a computer room. Totally unacceptable and needs to be addressed. Folks want to be comfortable not treated like the frozen food section at the store. Other wise the service was very enjoyable and something every Catholic should witness at least once.

June 7, 2025, my granddaughter’s Confirmation was held there. Bishop Gregory Parks officiated at the special service. Beautiful church.

I love this church. We attend mass here whenever we visit our daughter. Really beautiful inside. This is a wonderful catholic community. I was really glad to see the Knights of Columbus as greeters and ushers.

Just moved to St Pete and needed a new church. St Jude is beautiful, large, and the preists are amazing. Homilies are actually relatable and fit with the current times which as a young Catholic, I find this to be one of the biggest things I look for in a church. Still pretty new, but so far I love it

I grew up going to church n school here it was beautiful years ago but now it's even more beautiful. They did a beautiful funeral mass for my father.

South Straub Park is a lovely green space with walking trails and a scenic fountain located in the St. Pete downtown waterfront. It's perfect for a morning stroll and provides residents with a great place to relax and enjoy the cityscape. Across the street are outdoor cafes to savor your breakfast or lunch!
This spot of greenery provides a park buffer between the waterfront harbor and the busy St Pete street with upscale eateries and stores. A few benches offer some seating with one bench by the fountain. A great respite in the city.

Calming spot for a stroll and some reflection. Enjoyed a nice 30 minute walk around the park and local area. Lots of people out with their families and dogs. Various statues and beautiful trees to enjoy as well.

I love this park and come here frequently. It's very quiet considering it's in the middle of downtown St Petersburg. There's also lots of wildlife here, like parrots and spoonbills.

Downtown St Petersburg is amazing. The founders were determined to maintain the original natural settings as much as possible. The waterfront captures the essence of why people come to visit then move to the area. There is so much to do around this part...two excellent museums and outdoor dining, a long causeway to the end of the pier. It all circles the historic park and draws people to engage in nature.

Only briefly homless do to working on important stuff in fl 😒 but so many nice people just say hi im sorry everyone else has to ruin the park for yall hope yall can enjoy the park

Visited on New Years eve 2019 with family. We enjoyed walking around while vendors were setting up for the evening and listening to live music. My 3yr old grandchild was fascinated by all the boats at the marina and loved climbing up the huge Banyan trees. Lots of good restaurants line the street. Great place to spend a relaxing day. Parked in a parking garage 5 min walk from the parking. It was only $3 for the whole afternoon-what a deal!

Excellent park to run, walk and walk with the dog and have an amazing view of the pier and marine. The building is gorgeous. The location is perfect.

Graphi-ko Gallery, Crystals & Jewelry is a distinctive shop that showcases unique accessories crafted by proprietor Wilmer Vergara and other skilled artisans, alongside local artwork. Their collection of stones is extensive and reasonably priced. A beautifully arranged table near the register exhibits various stone points that are available for purchase. The store's spacious layout accommodates individuals using mobility scooters, with wheelchair accessibility at the entrance. The wide selection includes not only different types of stones but also varying sizes.
Great place for authentic energy stones. Hubby, son and I picked stones that resonated to our individual need and energy. Owner let me feel a rare moldavite for my autoimmune and I immediately felt warmth tingly feeling and high vibrational energy. Love this place!

Very nice little shop full of genuine stones and jewelry. The place is cared for well and the prices are respectful. I was able to get a nice stone jewelry set for a friend who loved all of it! Will be back!

Looking for the perfect 11th anniversary gift and the manager, Joe, was super helpful and had what we needed. Friendly and good products and prices. 5 🌟 $$ to $$$

Not sure what the one star reviewer is taking about. He must not have any idea of what it takes to curate a collection and then turn raw materials into interesting and desirable pieces. You will not find nicer or more dedicated individuals to their craft then the gentlemen here. A unique find in the area and worth the visit.
David — Google review
The gentleman working here was absolutely wonderful. Very informative and helpful. We went out of his way to go above and beyond. They have a huge variety of crystals and rocks here.

An amazing place with matching personalities! I've had some crystals for a few years, I've always wanted them wrapped so I could wear them. They have special meaning to me so it was hard to find someone I could trust. After some time and talking with Wilmer,I asked if he would wrap them. Only the stars know how happy I am! Thank you so much! The jewelry is beautiful and the crystals they have are Exquisite!

This is one of my favorite metaphysical shops!! Amazing owners and employees!! Definitely recommend visiting!
Don T — Google review
Disappointed in my purchase. I thought I was buying a nice pair of wooden earrings. Once I got home to Sarasota, I looked closer and realized they are plastic. It also looks as though one of them had a crack and may have been repaired with super glue. And lastly, I was over charged for the pair, the sticker said $25 but I was charged $35. Look closer before buying things from this store. 11/24/19 Update to say I was refunded for my purchase. Thank you
