Seafood restaurant
Oyster bar restaurant
The Catch Seafood and Oyster Bar is a modern and relaxed dining spot that offers a variety of fresh seafood, including raw and grilled oysters, as well as classic sides. The restaurant is part of the Stewbos group, which has made a significant impact on the economy in Albany and Southwest Georgia. The seafood at The Catch is sourced locally and never frozen, ensuring freshness.
I’ve passed by this place several times and never knew it was there. Glad I found it. They seem to be known for their fish, but they have other great options on the menu. Ila was a great server, the restaurant & restrooms are clean. It seemed like it was bigger from the outside. No booth seating. The kitchen area is somewhat visible, which is fine. It looks like they have chefs that know what they’re doing back there. Parking spills over into Walgreens. Calamari and fried tomatoes appetizers. 10/10 the batter was extremely delicious. The calamari was $14 and the green tomatoes were $11 which is not bad. Maybe they both could have been a couple dollars less. My guest say the old-fashioned drink was strong and made correctly. The grouper and snapper blackened both 10/10. Cooked perfectly and seasoned well at $35 and $32 a plate with twosides. For quality fish fillet off the bone I’m not mad at that price. The sides 10/10. Hush puppies crispy. Cheese grits have great flavor and texture. Coleslaw was crunchy cold and delicious. Sweet potato soufflé was delicious and unique, but pushed like a dessert which I had no complaints, lol it was great. Honey brussels sprouts were delicious also and cooked perfectly. The salad was simple-good fresh cold, lettuce with visible cucumbers, onions and tomatoes. That citrus vinaigrette was one of the best dressings I have ever tasted. I asked for extra to go. Thanks, Ila. The blueberry cake was beautiful, but was it a wild factor. For as good as it looked, I couldn’t taste any blueberry and if I was eating it with my eyes closed, I wouldn’t know what kind of cake it was. It’s too much icing and whipped cream substance and not enough cake for me. at $14, it could easily be more like an eight dollar slice because splitting that with my partner didn’t feel the value at that price. Even with the cake not being a wow for me, I didn’t see a need to drop a star. I was surprisingly still a bit hungry when I left which was odd because with tip we spent close to $155 easily for two people. The bill can go up fast with alcohol, desserts and appetizers. That corner to the left when you first walk in (converted patio) needs a little more light. This place food tastes five star to me and I would love to come back and try other things also. I recommend and would come back to this place.

Solo diner, I sat at the bar. Nicki was great. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of Brussels. The brussels were nicely charred and well flavored. I don't typically even like hush puppies, but these were light and fluffy, fried but not greasy really well done. For the shrimp and grits, the grit cake was flavored nicely and the shrimp were perfectly cooked which can be hard for a kitchen to do correctly. Unfortunately, the gravy was super salty, not horrible enough to return the dish but right on the border. I spoke with both Nicki and the chef. Apparently this is a known issue with one of the line cooks. The chef said if I come back I should ask for him to make the dish. I appreciate the sentiment, but would suggest the better solution is to manage the real issue in the kitchen and if nothing else implement quality control on the dishes coming out of the kitchen. Another bigger issue, I had a gift card & I'd expected to be able to leave my tip using the card, unless the tip is added before the check is closed. I was lucky that I had some cash, but I always have concerns when an organization isn't making sure that their employees are top priority & taken care of.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Holy shrimp, Foodie Fam! The Catch Seafood Bar in Albany, GA is reeling in the deliciousness! 🎣🍤 We can't wait to come back for our next FoodieLyfe Tour. First of all, those lemon-pepper shrimp? They're like little flavor bombs exploding in your mouth! 💥 And the roasted Brussels sprouts? Okay, I know Brussels sprouts can be controversial, but trust me, these are life-changing. So crispy, so flavorful, I could eat a whole plate by myself! (And I almost did. Oops. 😬) The atmosphere is also super chill and inviting, perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion. They also have a private event space available for rental. So, if you're looking for a seafood spot that will have you hooked, The Catch is the place to be. Just be prepared to fight for your shrimp. #FoodieLyfeTours #TheCatchSeafoodBar #AlbanyGA #Seafood #TastetheGoodLyfe #LemonPepperShrimp #BrusselsSproutsForLife

Nice atmosphere, staff were friendly, and restaurant clean. Calamari was decent but I didn't care for the bacon flavored sauce. Shrimp and grits were flavorful. Stuffed grouper: Best seasoned asparagus ever! Grouper was cooked well. Hush puppies had a great flavor but dry. Could use some sauce with it. I would recommend this restaurant.
Ta'Lesha — Google review
This was a very quaint intimate location… the ambiance was everything!!! I ordered the filet mignon dinner with honey glazed Brussel sprouts and creamed spinach. For appetizers… yes that word I used was plural… rockerfella oysters and crab cakes…(when my wonderful beautiful waitress Adrian repeated everything I wanted we both decide to take off 2 of the 4 selections I had previously ordered…) everything was magnificent everything was everything… the steak was prepared a perfect med well just the way I loooooovvvvveeeee it!!! The spinach um no words you have to experience for yourself… my mouth is watering right now just thinking about the spinach… I would say speechless but would the smacking noise the saliva making in my mouth count as speechless??? The blueberry lemon drop may have a little to do with that which was a perfect blend of sweetness and thwang!!! So most would ask at this point how many times a week will you be back… this place will definitely be in my weekly rotation while I’m here in Albany visiting… thanks for reading and please go partake in this gem!!!
Summer R — Google review
Great food, very good selection of draft beers, and nice decor. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but give it a try! The Brussels sprouts are simply amazing. Get them and you won’t be sorry. Liked the food here so much I came back a second time!
Mark D — Google review
While on the Foodie Life Tour, I had the pleasure of dining at Catch—and let me just say, this spot did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, setting the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable culinary experience. First off, the blueberry lemon drop martini was a showstopper—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and tang. It was easily one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. The lemon pepper shrimp stole the show—tender, flavorful, and packed with that zesty kick you hope for. And let’s not forget the Brussels sprouts—crispy, caramelized, and full of flavor. They were the perfect savory side to round out the meal. Catch definitely lives up to the hype. Whether you’re a seafood lover or just along for the ride on the Foodie Life Tour, this is one stop you won’t want to miss!
CiAndrea I — Google review
So kind of disappointed in both fish dishes we had. Snapper was over like dry to the point of sticking to my teeth. Gf had the stuffed grouper with a burnt skin that was carbon not crispy and the stuffing tasted oxidized and was just not good. Sides were mid at best but for how expensive it is I'm just disappointed. Sadly the best thing was the raw oysters the rockefeller we had were not very good either. Just expected better food.

If you're on the hunt for a true taste of Southern hospitality, look no further than Blackbeard's B & B Bar-B-Que in Albany. This charming eatery offers a delightful mix of Southern cuisine, seafood, and mouthwatering barbecue within its spacious and rustic ambiance. The menu features regional favorites like fried catfish, hearty seafood gumbo, and succulent smoked turkey.
Excellent service and food. I have missed good BBQ and this place fulfilled the cravings I had. Ample portions. I had enough left overs for 2 more meals. I ordered the 2 meat special with pulled pork, brisket, cheese grits, baked beans, and a cup of Brunswick stew. All of it was great. Well seasoned and prepared.
Karen R — Google review
My fiance's favorite childhood restaurant aged poorly. Her fish was delicious but my BBQ was lukewarm at best and dry, as if it had been under a heat lamp. The service was almost non existent as the manager had to hunt the server down so we could get our check when we had a 3hr drive home ahead of us. Somehow one app and two entres came out to 72$. We feel robbed. The food quality and service needs to drastically increase before they can justify these prices.
Ryan S — Google review
I gave the service 4 because the girl hardly came by and checked on our drinks and as you no seafood is very salty. But the food was excellent but be prepared to spend a little extra because its seafood 😋.
Angie ( — Google review
We showed up about 50 minutes before closing and had 6 in our party. Qontrece was our server. She and the other staff we talked to were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent! Shrimp and grits were the best I have ever had! We all enjoyed our food and experience here and look forward to coming back when we can!
Brittany H — Google review
For the most part, we enjoyed the experience. I will say at lunchtime the portions are less but then again so are the prices. The food was tasty and the staff was very helpful & pleasant. The ambiance was appropriate, somewhat of a fisherman theme, of course. We will return in the future to try out other food choices!
Harmony G — Google review
Great experience! Sharon was super awesome!! She moved my family to a bigger booth when initially seated at a small one. Only complaint is that we had a big delay between ordering appetizers and ordering entrees but they still came to the table together.
Schan M — Google review
The wings and catfish were delicious, although the St. Louis ribs were a bit dry for my taste. However, the Mac and cheese and green beans were quite good. The service was excellent.
Vincent M — Google review
Server was impressionable, impatient, and rude, the busboy splashed liquid onto our table and the manger appeared to be irritated by our complaint. The owner need to do a complete overhaul of staff if the restaurant is to survive. We ordered food and the biscuits tasted like fish, the gator bites were dry and did not have the sauce, the waiter kept sliding everything across our table. We left and did not stay to eat the food because of service, atmosphere (everything felt dirty) and especially the busboy splashing us with the bucket of drink liquids. Horrible horrible horrible experience for a family of 3 from Chicago.

Austin's Firegrill & Oyster Bar is a delightful eatery that perfectly blends a relaxed bar atmosphere with an impressive menu featuring Southern seafood and hearty steak dishes. Located in Albany, this vibrant spot offers outdoor seating for those who enjoy dining al fresco. The menu boasts mouthwatering options like mile-high burgers, fried grouper, pulled pork, beef brisket, and even creative dishes such as seared tuna tacos and creole Alfredo pasta.
Enjoyed the holiday menu for Valentine’s Day. Called a few days ahead and we were still able to get a reservation. The service was superior. The portions were generous and well played. Everything was well seasoned and cooked to the right temperature. First time, but won’t be the last.

We were in town for a conference and they were giving a discount for anyone going to the conference. My husband and I couldn't decide what to get so we got food to split. I got the tai tacos with seared tuna and he got the creole Alfredo pasta and shrimp and corn chowder. Everything was amazing. We needed something small to go before leaving for the airport and got the chowder again and it was so convenient because they had a drive thru.

I ordered the kitchen sink oysters at a previous company party they was delicious, I went back tonight and they were meant for the trash. The manager was called to fix the problem and was then apart of them problem. I couldn't believe this lady took them away and admitted the order was wrong, she brought the plate back with something that looked like raw shrimp thrown on top of the same mess. I hope we will never have a company party there again nobody should have to pay $40 for the mess I was served
Wanda H — Google review
Unremarkable food and slow service - no idea why the ratings are higher. Our server was nice, but as the night moved on, we saw less and less of her, which was really sad. It took a long time to get our food and when it finally showed up, there were lots of problems. The coleslaw was more like cold cabbage soup, the french fries were cold and generally everything was overcooked. Since our server didn’t return for 10 to 15 minutes after our meals were delivered there wasn’t really much we could do about it such as get hot fries. I wanted the experience and the food to be better but it just wasn’t.
Rob H — Google review
The restaurant is amazing. Mile-high burgers, delicious fried grouper, cheesy grits, and crispy fries. Hubby said the oysters were overdone. What makes a restaurant amazing? The staff. The bartender had a crowd of customers at the bar and the bar tables, and she had all the tables in the restaurant that ordered drinks.. She sure handled things. It was fun to watch her maneuver. She had a great attitude and perfect food recommendations.
Dai Z — Google review
My husband and I had dinner there along with a huge group. We when got there nothing had been set up. We had to wait on them to get everything together and this was planned ahead of time and the restaurant was notified well in advance of the date and time. We were seated outside in the heat with only 2 fans and the fans were sitting at the end of 1 table and the only people who could feel the fans were the ones who sat at that table. We were told they had fans that sprayed a mist that would help to cool things down. No one ever came out to set those up or separate the fans where everyone could feel some moving air. I got so hot I almost passed out. I had to step inside the restaurant to cool off. That was awkward stepping inside where everyone else was sitting at their tables staring at you. The other bad thing about it is they had a back room that we could have been sat in and I'm sure it would have been a whole lot cooler. The food was mediocre at best.
Teresa W — Google review
Few coworkers and I decided to grab a few drinks and appetizers after work. The oysters were delicious, the fried pickles were tasty little bites and my martini was divine.

Harvest Moon is a popular family-friendly eatery in Albany that has been serving great food and hosting live music for over 20 years. Live music performances by bands like The Bo Henry Band are a regular feature on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
1st time here ! My wife, sister & myself took a few days to visit our Dad & decided to try HM to grab some pizza, a favorite of his. I got the wings (delicious 🤤 ); my sister got a Stromboli (fabulous); my wife got a BBQ pizza (w/Carolina sauce…yummy); & Dad got his supreme (Full Moon) pizza ! My sister had a slight mishaps with her Stromboli, but our waitress handled it like a boss !🤩 Definitely, a go to in the future !!!
Triple R — Google review
Harvest Moon is a fantastic spot in Albany that never disappoints! I had the chicken Caesar wrap with Rojos, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My wife loved her Pep Chicken wrap, and our daughter’s grilled cheese was a hit too—crispy, cheesy, buttery and just right for a picky eater. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better.
Cameron R — Google review
Stopped into Harvest Moon for the first time to meet up with a friend and enjoy a cold beer. The atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming — exactly what I was looking for. The staff was friendly, the beer was ice-cold, and the place had a great local vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to again soon!
Chris D — Google review
I remember when you first originally opened at a time when my child was born. Not long after, I found out your restaurant seemed as if it all of a sudden shut down. Today just happened to search the internet looking for a different restaurant to eat. To our surprise your restaurant popped up within my search. Yes it’s been that long🎯 Back then I would order your Philly cheese steak, and the broccoli salad was🔥fire! The very next time my family and I are in town, we will stop in Harvest Moon
Ms. E — Google review
This was my first and last time here. I chose the Cajun shrimp pasta, which is the "Tuesday special" recommended by the waitress. Absolutely disgusting! The shrimp were overcooked and rubbery, the pasta had zero flavor sitting in some sort of greasy butter sauce, and there was a pound of bland mozzarella type cheese on it. Service was very slow, the restaurant was loud from music blaring, and it was a dirty, dive bar vibe. Absolutely don't recommend it.
Tasha S — Google review
I mean it is a hometown hot-spot. The pizza we had was great. The building is small. The price was good. We got a large pizza, a small, and a kids plate. I have had better pizza, but not in a very long time and not in GA. The amount of cheese and toppings they put on the pizza means they have to Cooke the pizza for a longer time in the oven, this makes for a very well done bottom. If you don’t prefer this, let your server know.
Casper W — Google review
Great little place to grab some food or a drink. Sutible for all ages and the atmosphere is amazing. Good Prices, People and Service. What more could you want in a sports bar. I have been here several times and always get the wraps which are great.
Georgia R — Google review
I walked a bit to come to this place to try it out because a local said it’s a place to try. When I went in, I had to wait for a table and they forgot about me while everyone after me got seated. Once I reminded them, they got me seated. I ordered onion rings, chicken pot pie, homemade potato chips, and sweet tea. The onion rings was the best and some of the best I have ever had. They wore season well. I didn’t eat the dipping sauce, not a fan of mustard. Chicken pot pie, it needs some seasoning. Crust was flaky, chicken was good, but the gravy needs some seasoning. I had to add salt and pepper to make it taste decent. The homemade chips are my favorite. I always end up ordering extra for them. They just need to add some salt on them once they are done frying them. They taste like homemade chips. I believe sweet tea was the most disappointing thing from this experience. Whoever made the tea isn’t a southern or doesn’t know how to make it. I had to ask for sugar which they didn’t have. I had to go with sweeten low. My waitress was friendly and nice. She got my order right and out fast. I did come in a busy time of day. I do want to come back and try the pizza or Stromboli. Bathroom is a bit tight.

Nestled in Albany, Henry's Fine Edibles LLC has been a beloved fixture for three decades, offering a delightful blend of American cuisine with Southern flair. This inviting eatery boasts a casual yet elevated atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for everything from romantic dinners to celebratory meals. Diners can enjoy the fresh air on the outdoor patio while savoring an impressive selection of burgers, pastas, and steaks.
It’s my first time at Henry’s Fine Edibles and I’m not sure what took me so long to come here. The atmosphere is what I would call “elevated casual”. It’s a good place for a date or a celebratory meal without feeling underdressed in jeans and a t-shirt. The service was excellent, Sarah and Teresa in particular were very attentive without hovering. The food was very fresh, expertly prepared, and well seasoned without being too salty. Most notably I enjoyed fried zucchini and Henry’s potato soup. Next time you’re driving down Dawson Rd. and don’t have any meal plans, consider pulling in and enjoying a well made and delicious meal served by very friendly staff.
Daniel C — Google review
Update Ms Teresa is still the GOAT and they have wonderful servers. Unfortunately they took our favorites off the menu. The prices have increased tremendously and you get less return on money. See pic of the zucchini chips... this is now $12. They are seasoned well but previously you had a plate full. ...... I purposely waited months to come back after ownership changed (because I didn't hear positive things). Hubby and I were pleased. Under the old management we would order heavy appetizers 90% of the time. This visit we ordered food and it took FOREVER for the food to come. In fairness they did have large parties. The food was worth the wait. Similar to another post, the kitchen doesn't get the temperature right. I ordered my burger medium but it came out well. Ms Teresa is still the GOAT at the bar. We left happy and full.

I had the pleasure of visiting Henry’s Fine Edibles as part of the Taste of the Good Life tour, and I was blown away! The service was top-notch from the moment I walked in—warm, welcoming, and attentive. Now let’s talk about the food—phenomenal doesn’t even begin to describe it. The chicken wings were perfectly seasoned and crispy, and the potato soup was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was a burst of flavor that left me wanting more. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers both exceptional service and unforgettable food, Henry’s Fine Edibles is it!

Kind of a hard time rating this place. It’s not quite a 4 but not a 3 either. Everyone was very friendly here, staff and other customers. The jerk chicken had a nice smoked flavor and the jerk rub and a sauce tasted great. But the chicken was slightly over done and a little dry. The beans and rice also had great flavor but it was a little crunchy, so not quite done or not made with enough water. The cabbage, was good just how I like it, not mushy with a little crispness left. Though it could have used some heat, maybe some crushed red pepper or something. Now that I think about it, the jerk spice could be a bit hotter as well. The plantains let me down. They too were over cooked and dry. It was $13 for lunch. I will for sure be back as the flavor made up for the cooking.

I don’t even write reviews for real but this place is fireeeee the service is quick and the chicken is so tender and fresh and it’s a decent price for the amount you get. Would come back again !

I ordered $60 worth of food from thus restaurant. It was a plate of oxtails, rice, turnips and Mac and cheese. I also ordered black eyed peas, coco bread, a pattie, poundcake and a Jamaica punch. I didnt receive the punch at all. The only thing that was cooked well were the rice and blackeyed peas. The turnips were probably canned. The Mac and cheese was a soupy recipe of Velveeta which is just absolutely ridiculous. Couldn't eat. Can't get over that one. And the "oxtails' sure seemed more like goat meat to me. Chopped goat meat. Those were not ox tails nut they damn sure sold them at the premium price of oxtails. Anyway, whatever meat it was, you still could have made it good but instead that meat was so damn tough! I'm so disappointed in these people i dont know what to do. I only got my money back for the punch but should have gotten it back for that sorry oxtail plate. PLEASE, if yall are going to stay in business DO BETTER so that people will want to buy from your restaurant.

The food was very tasty but the jerk chicken was not authentic. The seasoning was a bit off and it’s usually grilled. What I got was like a brown chicken. But even so, the taste was excellent.

Ole Times Country Buffet is a popular venue for hosting events like going away parties, offering a diverse and mouthwatering selection of dishes. Although the service staff could benefit from more experience, the delectable food compensates for any shortcomings. The server's attention should be directed towards attending to individual needs rather than relying on group inquiries. It was necessary to request the table to be cleaned twice before guests were seated, along with a quick sweep or vacuum beneath it.
For old fashioned country cooking, this place is the best. So many southern style dishes to try. Big salad bar. Lots of fresh veggies and traditionally prepared meals at a good price. Delicious yeast rolls. You can order basic meals for carry-out also. Highly recommend!

This place is a GEM! Y'all better make your way over here if Y'all want some good Southern food and desserts. Wow! I am in Heaven! Wow. I drove for 3 hours, and I was not disappointed. Goodness, I can't stop trying everything. Exceptional for Southern Food. You pay, and then you eat all you can. It's so good. 💛 Mary, our server was sweet, friendly, and professional.

If you're looking for some down-home cooking, you have to give this place a try. The food is absolutely the best. The veggies are my favorite! Seasoned perfectly. Best fried chicken I've ever had.

The food is delicious. Our family of 5. Had a good time. That's our second time coming. We used to go to lake city but now we go to this one when we are in the area. The foods are always hot, never empty, and have a bigger variety. My 2 year old absolutely loves the macaroni. 😂 Our family had a good time and got a good down home meal. Just watch out on Sunday It's very crowded. This this place got it going on.

This is the best buffet I have ever been to in my life. The food is marvelous, and the catfish is like crack, highly addictive. I would strongly recommend stopping in if you're within 50 miles of Valdosta, GA. It is conveniently located off 75, so if you're coming or going to Florida, hit exit 18 in GA for the best buffet this side the Mississippi.

You know when your intuition tells you not to do it and you do it anyway? Yeah..... my fiance and I are from Florida visiting Georgia. I was under the impression Georgia food was good and I was excited!!! Let's cut to the chase. First and foremost, we had to obviously pay first, weird thing is they ask for the tip before service??? Not sure if that's a Georgia thing lol. Secondly, the food was not it. No labels to be found. I had to guess what is what. Food really didnt look too appetizing but hey I paid already. The food was cold, and it was either cold or bland. I think the only thing that tasted even remotely good was the potatoe salad in the cold section and it tasted like store bought so it was edible. I guess we were confused about all the pigs that were displayed. You would think there would be more meat variety. Nope.......... I think the ONLY positive thing about this place was the waitress that topped off our drinks every 5 minutes (literally) The dessert was mediocre and not very appealing or variety..... Do yourself a favor and save your money and dont do it. Just dont do it....... To the owners of this establishment: I feel as if this place has great potential to be a wonderful southern cuisine. My suggestion is to label your food, have more fresh and hot food available and more variety of meats. Also can use a upgrade when it comes to curbside appearance -first impressions are important.

This is the best southern buffet I have ever been to, and I go to them often in my travels. They have a lot of variety, and everything is fresh. Their ribs are really smoked in a smoker, and I got to try homemade chittlins for the first time in my life. They were delicious, best thing on the buffet! It's a wonderful mix of southern and soul foods. Everyone here seems to be proud of their jobs, always keeping things clean and tidy. It's an older restaurant, but that doesn't matter. Everyone is really friendly, and it's a nice place to relax and get a good meal.

Villa Gargano Italian Restaurant is a long-standing, family-owned establishment that offers a variety of Italian dishes including pasta and pizza, complemented by a selection of wines. The ambiance is cozy with dim lighting, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of sitting outside at sunset in Italy. Guests praise the friendly staff and note that the food is satisfying, with particularly delicious desserts.
I had just come back to Albany recently and stopped here for dinner. Was not disappointed as their pizza is still THE BEST! Keep up the EXCELLENT work!

Villa Gargano Italian Restaurant - A Disappointing Experience Our recent visit to Villa Gargano Italian restaurant was a deeply disappointing experience, particularly given that we traveled two hours to celebrate an early Father’s Day. Upon arrival, we were greeted with the unfortunate news that the restaurant had an extremely limited menu, staff, and seating. The dining room was essentially closed due to the lack of wait staff, which was a significant letdown. The most frustrating aspect of this visit was the lack of communication. There was no phone number available to call ahead and confirm the restaurant's status, and no other information was provided online to inform potential diners of the changes. We had high hopes for this dinner, especially since the menu items looked amazing based on our research beforehand. While we understand that times are challenging for many businesses, it was a hard pill to swallow after such a long drive. The lack of preparation and communication on the restaurant's part was disappointing and made for an unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, our visit to Villa Gargano did not meet our expectations, and we left feeling disheartened.

One of our favorite restaurants. Glad to see pizza is available again. Went in to place my double pizza order to go. Approx. twenty minutes or so later, I was walking out with two delicious pizzas. Open Thurs-Fridays only, 5-8pm. Serving Pizzas, steak sandwiches and salads.

Friendly staff, with a dim lit setting. It feels like you are sitting outside at sunset in Italy. The food is very filling and the dessert is delicious. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant for an evening in Italy. For my recommendations on what could be done better is the furniture could be updated. The seats felt like they were coming apart and the ceiling could be renovated to help enhance the immersive atmosphere, also the restaurant has not served pizza or wings since covid began. Besides that, this was an excellent night out!

Service was great, food (pizza) was hot but that's about all. Got there 430 pm on a Friday, not busy. Ordered the all the way pizza and skipped anchovies and jalapenos. Lacked flavor as well as proper sizing of things like green pepper and onions. Way too big, i.e. too many whole, large, rings of each. Could have stood to be cooked longer as well. Pizza was soggy in the center, and barely brown on top. Given the lack of a pizza sauce only thing I can think of is that it just wasn't cooked long enough. Tomatoes had no flavor. Dough had no flavor. Didn't see or taste a pizza sauce. No Italian spices were evident. Our mistake for letting them put on green olives. Between that and uncooked green pepper/onion thats all I could taste. Slices not cut uniform and cut way too big on about a third of the pizza. Then its time to go and the waiter attempts to get the rest of the pizza in the box, see picture, .......from waiters hands to us, not too good. Overall, if I want pizza from now on, it's Pats in Americus, Pizza Hut, or DiGiorno from the grocery store. Sorry guys, I was really hoping it would have been good. Think they try hard but a few folks need help as to what a Pizza should taste and look like.

l Their website is completely wrong. They have no pasta. They serve pizza and it's mostly to go so if you think you're getting a pasta dinner, do not go there.

Went with my family and had a great night! Great selection of Italian food. Not that big of a menu but what the menu lacks in quantity, it makes up for quality! Service we received was impressive. Waiter was friendly and personable. We went here because one of their former staff members suggested it to us and we were not disappointed. Okay, I'm a bit disappointed that they said they haven't been serving pizza since the plannedemic but that's minor. They had impressive Italian wine selection and server knows good recommendations. If you're going to get salad, try their in-house blue cheese dressing. Veal piccata was really tender and the Alfredo pasta was rich and creamy but not over-the-top. Ps. We also enjoyed the murals inside the restaurant.
Heidi R — Google review
Someone told me they had really good pizza..... someone lied to me. The $5 frozen pizza at walmart is miles better than this, even Little Caesars is way better, this is just flavored flimsy cardboard. Garlic bread comes out as toast. Chicken Alfredo was actually really good. But we waited an hour and a half with the place about 70% full of people.

Pros: The food is fantastic, the menu has a great variety . I want to give a special shout out to Floyd for the amazing service......he was very welcoming and respectful ☺️. For appetiser, I will recommend shrimp Frito misto, calamari and as main course we had chicken and shrimp carbonara 😋. Cons: We had to wait for at least 20mins before being given a table ☹️

The only impressive thing was the portion size. The food itself was quite average. The broccoli that came with the grilled salmon tasted like it had been pre-cooked or prepackaged, not fresh at all. The breadsticks were warm but not freshly baked - definitely missing that hot, just-out-of-the-oven feel. Overall, everything lacked soul and freshness. It’s filling, yes, but far from memorable.

Decent food and service - what I would expect from this chain. The standout was our server Kay J - she was great. I believe the chain as a whole has really improved over the last few years. They have some really good recipes and of course the salad and breadsticks has always been good. It was a good choice for us for lunch.

Am I losing my mind, or did Olive Garden just raise their prices while lowering the quality? Are y’all high??? I ordered the "Tour of Italy" and received something completely different from what was promised. For nearly $40 after taxes, fees, and delivery charges, I expected something far better than Chef Boy Ardee-level pasta and chicken so dried out it could’ve been used as a frisbee. The lasagna? I wouldn’t know—because they forgot it. But hey, at least I still tipped for the delivery, though I regret that now. I get that things are tough everywhere, but I’m seriously questioning the value here. I won’t be coming back anytime soon unless they decide to improve both the quality and the customer experience. Disappointed doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Probably the worse service I had ever gotten at this location. I understand it was homecoming night but my table of 4 shouldn’t have waited 1.5 hours to get our meals. Where tables that sat after us got their food and lefts already, where larger tables sat and left before us. By the time we got our food we really just wanted to leave.

Went for significant others birthday on 10/15. The restaurant was clean. The hostess that seated us was not friendly. The waiter start off good but service soon went downhi. It too over 30 minutes to get the ordered alcohol drink, appetizers and some of the food came out, had to wait over 30 minutes for a loaded baked potato. Asked several times for condiments some came and some never came. We were so irritated that we finally just took the food to go. The next day even the food was less to be desired. It tasted awful. It was definitely not worth the money and tip left.

Austin needa be fired ASAP. He was slow, he got orders wrong, he don’t listen, he can’t multi task, worst service ever. We asked for togo plates about 30 times and our check multiple times. He attended other tables before ours. We arrived here at 430 with a reservation and we wasn’t called until 524 and we are just now leaving and it is 739. Also the steaks were not cook properly and were very dry and one was still alive, This building is too small and the parking lot is too small. Also i ordered a baked potato and i was given mashed potatoes and the table that was here after us got a baked potato after i was told there were no more.

Do not go. I wasbso appalled by the level of service and the overall visit. This was a waist of over $100. The most disappointing thing is that this was supposed to be a steal occasion but it was not that in the end. We were seated immediately upon walking in. The waiter was nice but was not on point with making sure we received our alcohol beverages, food items and condiments in a timely manner. We had to ask several times for items to be brought to the table that were ordered. Because service was so bad we ended up packing up our food and leaving. Still paid full price and tipped because that is the correct thing to do even though the food and service was horrible.

Upon arrival, there were many parties waiting inside and outside of this location. Thought they might of said 15-20 minutes wait time, but Checked in around 6:54 PM, seated by 7:11 PM. Quicker seating probably because it was just two of us. Waitress was very friendly, polite, and efficient. Her service was well worth our wait. Ordered our food immediately upon seating. Food delivery began in about 5-10 minutes of placing the order. She checked up on us occasionally. We did not feel neglected. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean. No sour smells at the table or seating. Great food selections. All food ordered was well prepared and tasty. Would consider visiting this location again and recommending to others. All employees encountered during this visit were polite and friendly.

Our waiter Vante was absolutely amazing! His service was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. He anticipated our needs, kept everything flowing smoothly, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. What stood out the most was how genuine he was, he wasn’t just doing a job, he was making sure we had a great experience. So this isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this location but I figured I’d give it one more shot. I should’ve gone with my gut. My kids and I had a nice day and figured we’d splurge and stop and eat before we head home. We walked in and it was dead but yet we waited and waited before we were even acknowledged even though a few employees saw us standing there. We were seated in the bar area and waited again. Finally the bartender came over by the way she wasn’t busy with patrons so no excuse as to why it took so long and the restaurant was dead. She took our drink and app order and said she’d be back. We got our drinks and waited and waited and waited and some nice young gentleman brought our app after a long amount of time. Which I can assume the cook was not having a good day. Our cheese fries looked like a small order with barely any cheese and been sitting under the broiler a little too long. Finally our waitress came to take our order. A burger, the bloomin chicken and I had the fried shrimp appetizer. We wait and wait and wait and I mean we are waiting. No one comes by to ask to refresh our drinks anything. Finally food comes.. burger and chicken. The lady who brought the food asked me what I had ordered because our waitress won’t come to our table anymore. And I told her the fried shrimp appetizer. I can only assume that it was forgotten because that has happened to me before twice. After about 8 minutes my dish finally arrives. All the food is inedible. My son’s burger is actually so greasy that it’s sliding off the bun! I kid you not! Slid off the bun but he was so hungry he tried to eat a bit. He ate a quarter of it and couldn’t eat anymore. My daughter couldnt eat her food. No flavor in the Mac and cheese in either of sides and her chicken was so thinly floured you couldn’t taste the seasoning.( I’ve had that before and it’s usually thicker battered) my shrimp felt like it soaked up half the oil . No one still came by to see how we were doing. I had to paid the bill on the table top tablet and we left all our food behind. We all came home sick and my son ended up throwing up. We will NEVER come back to this establishment again. You couldn’t pay me. I hate leaving bad reviews and I actually don’t but I had to on this one. $87 for bad food.

My friend and I went to this place yesterday for lunch. The hostess was very pleasant and I just knew that, based on her, our experience would be great. Our server Anija, came to our table, she seemed pleasant and she answered any questions we had at the time. That’s the only she did that was pleasant, I ordered wings as an appetizer and my friend ordered the potato soup. We weren’t offered water, but that was okay as I don’t usually drink restaurant water unless it’s bottled. I got my wings, they were delicious and we got our drinks, (my friend still hadn’t received her soup). I then ordered a wedge salad, I got my salad, (my friend still hadn’t received her soup). My entree came and my friend FINALLY got her soup. We didn’t see Anija for a long while, so I had to ask the hostess to get any items that I needed. I told her from the beginning that we wanted split bills, surprise surprise, when we went to pay our bill, they were not. She seemed to have an attitude any time she was asked anything. I overheard another table ask her a question about an item on the wall and she gave him a dismissive answer. “I don’t know I just work here, or something to that effect “. Then of course she forgot my dessert and I had to go back inside for it, again the hostess had to find her and when she handed me the bag she didn’t seem happy and walked off without apologizing for forgetting it. I just laughed because, tips are the majority of their money and she controls how much she makes. That nasty attitude will get her NOTHING, as it got her nothing from us yesterday. I should’ve tipped the hostess as she did more for us than Anija did. We won’t be back, the wings and the salad were the highlight of my meal, and the ribs were tasteless and tough!

I’ve visited Albany many times before but haven’t went to their Outback yet so I went this time and honestly, it was one of the worst experiences ever outside of the servers. The place needs to be updated, it’s very cramped & wasn’t the cleanest overall. I was there with family so I didn’t complain out loud much but I took my notes for later. They said their food was “just ok” but my shrimp and steak pasta was so bad. It was edible but wasn’t good at all. Usually I speak up but since we were visiting some family, I put up with it and just paid the bill. The sauce was runny, there was so much oil in it, you could even see it. There was barely any flavor, just a hint of cheese and oil. I had to have my napkin ready to wipe my mouth with every bite since it dripped so much. They even put a tiny bowl of butter on the pasta I’m guessing for the shrimp but there was no need for that when the whole bowl of food is soaked in oil. Outside of the cute & sweet waiter, it was a 3/10. I’ve been to other locations up here where I live and the pasta is 1,000 times better. No excuse.

We had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to get our drinks. After the drinks were finally served it really seemed as if they rushed through cooking our food. I normally have a pretty good experience at this location but this day was more like an Applebee's experience. The really bad part was the fact, that there was only like 7 occupied tables.

My first trip into Albany to take care of business ended with the grand finale at Jimmy's Hot dogs. After the staff boxed up our purchase of two dozen of these yummies to take to our beach house in Florida for the kids, I am not sure there will be any left for their arrival for Christmas.

I use to be a very big fan of this place . However, the hot dog tasted like it was mostly bread and the chili was almost flavorless.. the girl behind the counter didn’t have a pleasant attitude and said “hold on a minute!” While we were trying to order. I can’t stand with a food place have employees that make you feel bad for trying to order food. Also the floor was very dirty and looked like it could use a sweeping and moping. i got no complaints on the employees that were handling me and my brothers order today. My issue is with the old man that was in the back. He walked out and just started berating the 2 ladies about their work ethic. Now ive only worked in the food industry for about 3yrs as a bartender and just over a yr as a supervisor....I saw no issue with those ladies and how they did their job, they werent slacking or on their phones, werent being loud or obnoxious and were overall polite and friendly. I say this to say that no supervisor/manager should ever berate those under them for what i saw today and especially not in front of customers. If thats how the old man runs things then it wont be long before he has noone to work for him.

Terrible place to eat . And it sucks bc there’s not many places here in Albany to eat at that serves somewhat healthier options. The service today was … okay. The server was the only one working the floor and bar so things were a little slow , but she did the best she could … better yet , she did great ! It’s not her fault they’re short staffed. God bless her for even showing up to work. The food was nasty and my cup had stains &dirty dish water residue up and down on the cup..just disgusting. And the sad part is , I didn’t even realize it until I got half way through my coke . SMH I was honestly, disgusted. There was no way the cup I had was cleaned at all. Seemed like they just placed it in the sink for a few days , maybe had dirty water sitting in it , but someone decided to reuse it and I was the lucky contestant to have drank from that dirty ass cup . And now , I feel like I have a random cold . It’s almost like instant . My husband is a doctor and we both were very disappointed. We didn’t even bother to bring it to the managers attention- if there was even one on duty . Things like this makes us not want to ever eat out again …. But we will not be back .. ever . But the one server did a great job. She deserves a raise and a better work environment that cares about her wellbeing. You can’t burnout your one good worker . It’s just pathetic.

i really love this restaurant but tonight was absolutely horrible. i don’t ever write reviews unless something catches my eye huge; positively or negatively. honestly probably the worst service Ive ever had. when we got drinks i had to ask for straws. i asked for 3 extra rolls wanting 3 extra along with the 2 complimentary but only got 3 and these rolls had honey butter clumped in the middle not even melted. the food came out my bfs chicken was tough and i told the lady my salad didn’t have pasta nicely. she rudely said “it’s under the salad” i looked and there was none. also i got half of the portion i normally get. it was the size of a side salad. this was the state of the salad when she brought it back to me. normally i leave completely full and have no room for dessert but im still hungry. also the lady kept her hands in her pockets the whole time. kinda disgusting to me being a food business. idk what’s in her pockets

However, this is the reason I didn't give 5 stars, I felt like having a rare steak instead of medium rare. What I got, however, was closer to medium than a rare stake. I'm not saying the steak was bad, it was delicious. But I ordered a rare stake, not a medium. I would still recommend this location, and if we're ever in the area, we might go back. Just keep in mind that the cook on a Saturday afternoon doesn't know the difference between a rare and medium stake.

Everything from the server to my family's food was great except one thing. The mashed potatoes were watery. I was looking forward to them with my platter of ribs, they had bacon bits and looked delicious but sorry they looked like imitation mashed potatoes. But other than that, everything else was excellent!

Ordered online. Picked up curbside. We were already in the parking lot waiting when we received our text that it was almost ready... 10 mins early, so that was nice. However, whoever put the steak sauce in our bag did not snap the lid on tightly. The entire bag had steak sauce everywhere, on every container, on the silverware packs and in my CAR! I had to wipe everything down before we could even eat. Also, somehow, the food was cold. Food tasted okay, beside being cold. Didn't get a great photo, but you get the point.

Sad food today canned veggies no seasoning. Potato soup is too thick and has too much bacon flavor on top they do offer bacon crumbs on top. 🤢The soup was also too cold.🥶

The atmosphere was great, the service was slacking badly, and the food was extremely bland. On the 14oz sirloin, you'd expect tons of flavor but no, this had none whatsoever. The country fried steak was more breading than meat and fell apart super easily and made a complete mess. The waitress we had was not very attentive at all, took my grandmother several tries just to get her attention when she just had one other table. I would not pay the prices on this menu for the mediocre food that comes out. Will not be returning.

Guang Zhou Chinese Restaurant is a delightful spot that brings the essence of classic Chinese cuisine to life. With a menu brimming with traditional favorites like chow mein, egg foo young, and an impressive variety of noodles, there's something for every palate. The new location offers generous portions and consistently delicious dishes; their beef fried rice stands out as one of the best in southwest Georgia. While the egg drop soup is a must-try, some appetizers could benefit from just a bit more cooking time.
Guang Zhou consistently serves up delicious and authentic Chinese food. The new location is a throw back to when Mae owned and ran Hong Kong Cafe, which is a true complement. We’ve been dining with Guang Zhou for years and it’s always excellent. Great soups Appetizers and entrees Something for everyone

The new location isn’t a bad spot. The food and portions are still good. The beef fried rice was good and done better than most places I’ve been to here in southwest Georgia. Most places call soy sauce and rice fried rice. I don’t know why. Not even close. Anyway, the service was awesome. Olivia did a fantastic job! She kept our glasses filled and that’s a must for me. Just a recommendation to the owner. Hire a busboy. The place must have been busy to look the way it did. The servers can get pretty busy and leaving the eating area the way it was could turn customers away. The food was good as always. The vegetable options were on point. The beef fried rice was tasty and all the right ingredients from what I like about fried rice. The chicken was good, but I need to breakaway and try something different. Great job Olivia!!

Take-out experience was horrible, put my order in at 7:40pm and got in at 8pm still had to wait and didn’t get my food till 8:40pm basically taking my entire dinner break from work. Food itself was insanely overcooked I got the tempura shrimp appetizer (which was basically just sweet and sour shrimp) and the shrimps were tiny and way over fried making them dry and tough. The teriyaki chicken as a small portion for the price and majority of the pieces were tough and kinda flavorless. All in all a poor experience and huge waste of 23$

I ordered egg foo young meal on DoorDash. Food look delicious however it was NOT. I have NEVER had egg foo young filled with lettuce and shrimp. I understand the economy is getting bad but if you can't afford to make the dish correctly, consider not selling it. Extremely disappointing

I love eating here. The wonton soup is sooooo full of flavor. I crave it every time that I come here. Most chinese clear soup, that ive tried locally, tastes like water, not here. The dumplings are stuffed with chicken, they are to die for especially after dipping them into the sauce they give you. So good! The egg rolls are perfect too. The best in town. Plenty of food to take home afterwards. Best to reheat up in an air fryer or oven, not the microwave. Service was nice, they don't hover or rush you. A must visit if your in town.

I’ve been to the new location five times or more to be fair before I completed this review. The taste of the food at this location sucks along with the portion size. Slightly higher prices with but slightly smaller portions. I frequently visited the located on Westover RD due to the good food and portion size but now it’s the total opposite. The workers in the front customer service is good but the owner customer service sucks because she will walk in and not greet the customers. I was there when they unlocked the door on the first day and she didn’t bother to speak to not one of the few ppl that was there waiting for opening. I don’t know where they went wrong at as far as the food goes at this location but my visits will but cut tremendously before I decide to go elsewhere. The taste is very bland now and the next time you go it will taste different from the time before. Since they have opened at this new location I’ve probably enjoyed the food once. This sucks because I deemed them the best in the city but not anymore. This is just my personal opinion of course.

The menu had quite an assortment of options of Chinese cuisine. The egg drop soup was exquisite. The eggrolls could have used another minute in the deep fryer, but the ingredients were very good. The atmosphere was quiet and you could definitely hear your group’s conversation. I wanted to order shrimp with lobster sauce, but it had things in it that I wouldn’t normally get in that dish. So I ordered beef and broccoli and the beef just melted in my mouth. My friend ordered chicken and veggies and she said it was very good. Our server was good, but we had to have her come over and clean the table because it was very sticky with some sauce that was available on the table for the little crispy fried things that you put in your soup but evidently here they put the sauce on them and eat them as an appetizer. They were good that way.
Connie C — Google review
The only reason I'm giving this many stars is because of the server. My server had short brown hair, older lady, she was amazing! The manager (young girl with white, grayish hair) on the other hand was rude and unprofessional, yelling at servers in a full resturant. The food was pretty good, and my server made me feel welcomed and not rushed like I feel at other restaurants.

Nestled in Albany, Georgia, Shogun Japanese Steak House is a delightful gem for sushi lovers and fans of Asian cuisine alike. This inviting restaurant boasts an array of mouth-watering sushi options that are both fresh and flavorful, making it a top choice for those looking to indulge their taste buds. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. Guests have praised the attentive service from the staff, which enhances the overall dining experience.
I stopped by this sushi restaurant during a work trip. The service was prompt and the sushi was delicious. Very fresh and tasty. Albany Georgia, I would take you back to the buckeye State if I could. They appeared to be very accommodating as well for their customers. If you don't like"raw" sushi rolls, they'll fry it (ruin it) for you. I'll be back for more!

Shogun is a great Asian restaurant in Albany with a lot of potential. The quality of the food and ingredients is excellent. The sushi, in particular, is fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Our waiter was very kind and attentive, which definitely added to the overall experience. If I may offer two small suggestions: first, improving the cleanliness of the tables and floors would make the environment more pleasant. Second, consider refrigerating the soy sauce bottles left on the tables. If left out too long, they tend to ferment and lose their intended flavor. Thanks for the meal, and I look forward to coming back!

Wow, I am impressed. This was way better than what I expected, and the tuna avocado salad was superb! Huge bowl of super fresh tuna in ponzu with avocado and shaved cucumber This was also so much better than the other sushi place up the street, ate there last week (while traveling on business) and was completely underwhelmed.

"Taking a Foodie Lyfe Tour was just what my taste buds ordered! Here at Foodie Lyfe Tour, we've partnered with our local culinary scene to highlight all the good things about the Good Life City of Albany, GA, and Shogun Japanese Steak House is a must-try! This is one of our absolute favorite sushi spots. The California Roll and Volcano Roll are always my go-to choices, but their menu is full of delicious options. On this visit, I branched out and tried a new roll (pictured in the video). It was a feast for the senses! Topped with what looked like imitation crab, a creamy, savory sauce, and a sprinkle of green onions, every bite was a burst of flavor. The rice was cooked to perfection, and the ingredients inside the roll were fresh and delicious. Before the sushi arrived, we enjoyed a comforting bowl of soup (also shown in the video) and the classic ginger salad – always a refreshing palate cleanser. Beyond the fantastic food, the customer service at Shogun is consistently top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes us feel welcome. From the moment we walked in until we left, the entire dining experience was amazing. The restaurant itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere. As you can see from the video, it's a popular spot, and rightfully so! If you're looking for delicious sushi and excellent customer service in Albany, look no further than Shogun Japanese Steak House. You won't be disappointed!"

Traveling for work and joined a bestie for dinner. Cute space and quick popular after 600pm - service was great. Our server recommended sushi rolls and they were awesome! We ordered seaweed salad, sushi taco, and the American Roll & Verizon Roll.

Absolutely delicious but a little pricey. We had the birthday roll, hurricane roll, spicy crab roll, cooked salmon roll, and one more, I think was called something like 911 roll. I would highly recommend them.

The Shogun Roll is my go to. Absolutely delicious and never disappointing. The bartender is one of the worst in the city. I've tried most drinks on the menu and they taste horrible. So do I dare ask for a specific drink of my liking? Stick to the bottle or coke products. The hibachi is good. Last time I went they apparently ran out of the noodles they usually use and had spaghetti noodles instead. I understand the reopening and difficult times so I didn't stress it. But this place is pretty jam up when it comes to food. Service is a hit or miss. Oh and I added photos of the menu for this location because they are hard to find online. Hope they help.

We sat for at least 15 minutes upon sitting down before we received anyone to serve us. We were just getting up to leave when someone came. We each ordered a beverage. One came a good ten minutes later, the other two were another five additional minutes. Food took a long time and another round of two beverages took too long yet again. The food was not very well prepared. We were disappointed. Will not be attending anymore.

Driving by this we order like 20 minutes before closing a large cheese pizza. It was the only place open and we were a bit worried we would t make it on time. They had our pizza ready to go. Each bite was triggering happy childhood memories, it was really good even though it was just a cheese pizza. The lady at the front was super nice! I personally appreciate that.

It's hard to truly explain how much joy the smell of freshly made to order pizzas from this place makes me feel. Every time I go Im reminded why this place is so frequently referred to as "the best pizza in town." You can really taste the freshness!! 10/10 The service is impeccable, the staff is friendly, polite, and always makes sure I am taken care of. Additionally, they always seem attentive to my needs and made consistent efforts to make sure me and my family had the best experience possible. This place is like any other mellow mushroom.... Except the bar is closed, only can beer and draft beer at the moment, construction inside causes you to need to yell and almost requires you to need hearing protection. The staff is not very knowledgeable when it comes to food items and if you are military make sure to use your state driver's license to get alcohol because they nearly didn't accept my CAC.

Mikata Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar is a trendy and contemporary local Japanese restaurant that specializes in serving delicious steak, seafood, and sushi. Was my hubby and I first time. Had heard great things about this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We both had the #8 combo which comes with soup, salad, stake, chicken, shrimp & fried rice. And sherbet for dessert. You pay a high dollar for food that by the time they share it around the table; one person gets their $35 worth of food and you get $10 worth of the food that you also paid $35 for and food is most of the time overcooked. My last time. Only reason I went this time was to celebrate a birthday with someone. I will skip next time.

This place has fell off completely. I came yesterday and had the chicken and shrimp entree + ginger salad & miso soup. It all tasted so funny to me. I also had a pina colada frozen daiquiri which wasn’t that good either. I was hungry so I ate it, but I didn’t finish it. I didn’t even want the rest in a togo box. The bartender was sweet.

Sat in an 80° room for an hour and a half with no service beyond soup and salad. When we finally left, instead of an apology we were told to “be patient.” Unbelievable. Save yourself the sweat and frustration: 1. Leave Mikata’s parking lot. 2. Turn left on Dawson Road. 3. Drive 2 minutes to Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse. 4. Actually enjoy good food and service. Skip Mikata — Tokyo is the better choice every time.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because how rude the owner was. While waiting for the rest of our party one of our guest keys happen to slip out of her back pocket in between the wall and chair we were sitting on. We asked nicely for assistance. He came over with a attitude and stated very nastily “why you ppl don’t put your keys in your pocket I’m just gonna remove this seating area people will just have to stand up moving forward” I didn’t like his reaction to good paying guest’s. We didn’t let that ruin my sisters birthday tho… Word of advice be mindful of how you treat your guests. All and all our host and server were amazing and the food was phenomenal. I ordered for two and a takeout came up to $105 including tip. The owner should treat his paying customers better. First impressions are very important!

What happened to this place? The food was sooo bad! It was my B day dinner. Steak was supposed to be rare. Came out grey! Just like the rest of the proteins. I’ve been going to here for over 8 years because me and my wife had our first date and it’s always been good. But as of today I will never ever go back here again, do yall know how trash it has to be for me to make a review on this? It took over an hour and some change for my food to come. I ordered my food and the waiter forgot to put the order in and brought here food out and asked me did I order anything as if she didn’t write down the order! The fact that they automatically charge tips makes the waiters do whatever. They checked on us two times out of the hour wait. I had to get up and tell them i was leaving and then 20 more mins they brought the food out. Place and service is trash don’t go please don’t

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a popular American chain restaurant that offers delicious comfort food. The establishment has a unique feature of having an on-site general store. Customers can enjoy their meals while waiting in the comfortable rocking chairs placed outside the restaurant. It tends to get busy, so it's advisable to arrive early or during off-peak hours to avoid long waits. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent, with a wide range of southern country dishes available.
I love Cracker Barrel and this by far was the best service I have ever received. Everyone was attentive and friendly and the food was amazing! I had the strawberry cheesecake stuffed pancakes and they were wonderful. You can tell that they work as a great team at this location in Albany Georgia. I was traveling through and I will definitely be back!

I ordered my food to go. It was thrown in the platters and I didn't get the sauce on my eggs I was suppose to get . This is not the first time either. I stopped coming here for a while now. I was attempting to see if things were better. I guess not. I think I'll go back to not coming here again.
Doc E — Google review
Uncle Herschel would be so disappointed. It took us a few minutes to get seated despite the place being emptier than a checkerboard with only one piece left. No big deal though — we entertained ourselves by counting all the rocking chairs and debating who still actually buys giant checker sets. Then came the drinks… or rather, the waiting game. We sat there parched while watching the three other tables in the building get refills like they were VIPs. By the time our drinks finally showed up, they arrived in dramatic fashion — carried in with the meals like some grand finale. The food? Let’s just say if Cracker Barrel is known for comfort food, this location served discomfort food. The mashed potatoes looked like they had been in the witness protection program — wrong color, no flavor, and definitely not safe to eat. The meatloaf was drier than a church bulletin and had edges so burnt it could’ve doubled as charcoal. I asked for syrup for my French toast and got a small cup that looked like it came from a child’s tea set. Then came the “steak tips,” which were less of a portion and more of a suggestion. To be fair, the manager did bring out a whole bowl of them as an apology — which saved this place from a 1-star review. Oh, and the biscuits? They had black marks on them like they’d been in a bar fight. Worst Cracker Barrel I’ve ever been to. And I’ve been to enough to know Uncle Herschel would’ve flipped a rocker over this one.

This location SUCKED! They absolutely RUINED my first taste of Cracker Barrel so badly that I may never go back to ANY of them! The rolls were hard as a rock. The service was slow and uncaring! I ordered a steak and grilled shrimp. Steak med rare. Steak was Well done! They were out of the grilled shrimp and brought fried shrimp instead which was way smaller than the picture. Not to mention the baked potato was DRY and also over cooked. I asked for butter and they bring me out this USED looking container with barely any butter in it! There were no napkins on the table. I ended up using my pants! The him/her looking waitor didn't even offer any. I felt like I was intruding instead of being welcome! The only thing I enjoyed was LEAVING! FYI, not that it should matter, but I'm white and this location was predominantly black!

We were greeted very warmly by the gentleman up front and it went down hill from there. It was about 7pm. The restaurant was NOT busy. Maybe 4 tables with us included. Sat and waited for about 5 minutes before our waitress came. She was pleasant. However, I had to flag her down (she was sitting with co-workers talking at a table) for a refill, she brought out my country fried steak without gravy, my hash brown casserole was cold. Like cold cold. And we also ordered beignets and didn't receive the sauce. When I asked for it I received syrup. Not what comes with it. My boyfriends food was also cold. I mean, I've been here before and it was great. However this time was horrible. Perhaps next time the server could pay attention instead of chit chatting.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this location. My friend and I frequent this location just about every Saturday morning to catch up and what not. The food is always fresh and delicious and cooked to order in my opinion. What really sets it apart, however, is the friendly staff that take care of you as a guest. Two of our favorites are JoJo and Stephanie. They are always very attentive to our needs and no matter what always have a friendly disposition that make it feel more like home.

Went in for early dinner. Wife ordered campfire beef and I the early dinner special, southern chicken with veggies. After a few minutes our Waiter returned and informed me that I could not order the early dinner special because we arrived 10 minutes too early, but could only order the full dinner. This was really quite interesting as we and two or three other parties were inside restaurant. After discussing with our Waiter, I figured that this was not our Waiter issue, but possibly a weird rule imposed by the manager. If not for my wife, I would have politely left to seek another restaurant to dine. I will not recommend this particular Cracker Barrel. Not because of bad service, but manager declined to honor my order because of 10 minutes to early to eat or choose a menu special. Oh well, there are many other fine restaurants to choose from, just not this one...

This place has really gone bad over the last 5years , I eat here all the time and the food has gone from good to terrible, the steak dinner had absolutely no seasonings on it even after I requested extra seasonings, and this was like on several occasions. Also they said to have brought the awesome chicken and rice meal but that was the worst chicken and rice I ever had because it was way to much salt added and the chicken breast was cold on top of the hot rice , plus I could smell the awful restroom all the way from checkout counter and maybe that explains the 87 health food score 😑

Worst service at a restaurant I have ever gotten. Table was dirty and sticky. Took 45 minutes to get our salad which had no dressing and no silver ware. We were never offered a refill on our drinks. My meal was brought out without breadsticks which they said would be put in a moment. Finished my meal left and paid, still no breadsticks. I would not recommend. The prices are low because the service is horrible.

My family and I came into this location at 4pm were seated to waitress about 10 minutes to take our drink order, another 10 minutes to get it then come to find out your out of Pepsi. Then server to our order 5 people, which took over 30 minutes to arrive, then when we reorder it took forever to get the server attention to order it. There were only 2 people working serving and most of the kitchen staff appeared to be sitting in the lobby chatting.

I’m so disappointed right now. All my food was burnt and cold. It was so nasty. I couldn’t even eat my food it was just that nasty. The fries was very old and hard. My shrimp was burnt and steak was very nasty. I will not be returning and I would advise everybody else to save their money. I have tasted better food at Burger King. Work hard for my money and pay for food that was bad quality. I see if one thing was wrong my whole order was nasty. I can tell they didn’t care my food was just put together.

If could give 0 stars I would. Service was TERRIBLE. When we arrived the table was filthy. I asked the host could we have napkins, she herself could see food on the table. Instead of wiping the table off she handed me the napkins, and the table then became sticky. I asked our waitress could the table be cleaned she then stated that they did not have sanitize spray. I asked her could the table just be wiped off because there was still food on the table. i ordered an alcoholic beverage and it was watered down, as if a customer had just sent that same cup back. we then asked the hostess for our waitress so that we could just ask for water, she stated, “she’s going through something right now” and then walked away. our waitress then came and placed all silverware in one single napkin, food was all over the silverware. it was disgusting.

I haven't been to Applebee's in a long time and going to this location, didn't make me feel as if, I was missing anything. The food was good. The restaurant was nasty, the tables and chairs were filthy. There was water leaking from the vent, right over the table. We moved seats, however, that area was not the cleanest. It's safe to say, i won't be going to any location, anytime soon. Th restaurant was basically empty so, there's no reason for it to be nasty.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Hong Kong Cafe. This cheerful eatery serves up a variety of beloved Chinese dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings. From crispy egg rolls bursting with fresh vegetables and tender meat to the mouthwatering Sesame Seed Chicken drizzled in a sweet and tangy sauce, every bite is a treat.
My absolute favorite place to indulge in delicious egg rolls and savory Sesame Seed Chicken is this charming little restaurant I discovered. The egg rolls are always perfectly crispy on the outside, filled with a delightful combination of fresh vegetables and tender meat. And the Sesame Seed Chicken is simply divine; the tender pieces of chicken are coated in a sweet and tangy sauce, sprinkled generously with sesame seeds that add a delightful crunch. Every visit to this spot feels like a special treat!

No flavor at all. I ordered the house special fried rice combo, with sesame honey chicken. The rice was plain as paper, the chicken was alright. I ordered crab Rangoon. I don't know what kind of cream cheese that was in the rangoon but that was a NO for me. Like it was old. Looked like old mashed potatoes in a shell. I ordered pot stickers. Now those were good with the sauce, and an egg roll came with it, that egg roll was old and almost like it was still uncooked. I put duck sauce on it, the duck sauce was old. I'll stick to what I know.
Clarissa B — Google review
egg roll & crab Rangoon were horrible. The sauce with the Rangoons was a sweet & sour vs Thai Chili sauce and the filling looked gray vs white AND they were sweet versus savory. I only ate half of one because I noticed the grayish filling. The egg roll as you can see was extremely greasy (most of it inedible) and was flavorless. Veggie Fried rice was a bit bland & wasn’t truly fried (or all the way done), so I went home & fried it. Two stars for the GREAT portion size. If the food were better, this would be great. I recooked the rice with sesame oil, adding eggs, garlic and onion powder along with black pepper, and fresh onion We don’t order any meats so that I couldn’t tell you.

New to town. I pick up for doordash. Thought I'd try this place. Ordered orange chicken and beef n broccoli. W white and fried rice.Rice broccoli not cook all the way.poor quality rice and chicken.(if that's what it was. . Stringy) nasty. This is not food... maybe good enough for pig slop. I return all food and ask for refund. She want to argue. I'm 40 . First time I ever return my entire order.

Placed an online order on Q Menu. The app wasn’t working properly and charged me even though the order did not go through. So I went in to order and pay with cash instead. Upon entering, I heard someone behind the booth speaking but they didn’t come to the counter until another order was brought out from the Kitchen. If she would have at least said she would be with me in a minute but no greeting. I explained the situation and she gave me Q Menu’s number. I’m still trying to reach them..was on hold forever. The veggie lo mein was good, but the Crab Rangoons were over fried, tough, and didn’t taste fresh. Will never come here again.

The best Chinese food I've eaten in Albany. The rice isn't regular yellow rice like all other 'chinese' restaurants nearby- it actually has bean sprouts, onions veggies and more! Love the shrimp fried rice with braised wings.

The customer service was horrible and I will not be going back. I ordered the teriyaki chicken stir fry and it was awful! I asked if the ownership had changed because the customer service and food had changed. The vegetables were not cooked and the chicken was dry. The previous owners used fresh chicken without the batter/bread or whatever it is on top. If I wanted this I would have just ordered sesame chicken with no seeds.

Steak 'n Shake is a beloved chain that captures the essence of classic diners with its retro ambiance. When you step inside, you're greeted by a nostalgic atmosphere that invites you to indulge in comfort food. On my recent visit, I savored a Frisco Melt paired with crispy fries—each bite was delightful, thanks to the buttery toasted bread and zesty sauce. The thin fries were perfectly crispy, complementing my meal beautifully.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Steak ’n Shake has that classic diner vibe that always feels nostalgic. I stopped in for lunch and ordered a Frisco Melt with fries and one of their hand-spun shakes. The sandwich came out hot with that buttery toasted bread and tangy sauce—it’s one of those comfort foods you can’t go wrong with. Fries were thin and crispy, just the way I like them. The milkshake was thick, creamy, and topped with whipped cream—definitely the highlight of the meal. Service was friendly, though it took a little longer than expected for the food to come out, especially since the dining room wasn’t packed. The restaurant itself was clean, with that retro black-and-white tile look, and the booths were comfortable. Prices are very reasonable, especially with the quality of the shakes. Overall, a solid stop if you’re in the mood for a classic burger-and-shake combo with a little old-school charm.”

Food was acceptable, everything else was terrible. There is no customer service here at all. The seating area is disgusting, see pictures... in the hour we were here eating, no one serviced the dining area at all. No one came out from the back except to call a name for an order and disappear before you could even arrive to claim it. Speaking of ordering... Ordering at this restaurant is kiosk only, even the fountain machine requires a bar code to dispense your beverage, but the tea doesn't, so ... What's the point besides annoying and inconveniencing the customer? All in all, avoid this place.
JT M — Google review
Hopefully the owner is reading this! What has changed? Your night crew has declined significantly. At night, they always have some type of stipulation. The staff will say, “We are currently not accepting orders for meals. You can only order a burger.” Or “Our shake machine is not working.” Or “We are currently not taking orders through the drive through, you can come in and order at the kiosk.” I am confident you are seeing your sales decrease at night. Are you aware that this is also homecoming for Albany State University? There were cars in front of us and all of us drove off. We are currently now at Cockoit and you should see the parking lot.

The person who said she was the manager stated i walked in salty. I had no interaction until our food wasn't cooked. I was told it was cleared off the screen. We have been visiting Steak in Shake recently in plans to become Franchises absolutely Not. I will contact Biglari holdings immediately in the AM. The sad part about it is I read the reviews and Stats on the location prior to the visit. Franchisees looking to invest unless you plan to be very active day to day visit your prospective location prior to. Lake City Florida's location was great Monday. Albany Georgia today Awful.

If your Handicapped or elderly DON'T ORDER HERE!!! This location does not care about the safety of the handicapped or want their business! First if you order online you are not allowed to get your food at the drive up window, even if you have mobility issues! Then their parking is ALL away from the building so you have to walk across the incoming traffic to get to the building... Better move fast!! Then you have to get into the building across grass, Curb, (The ramp is around the corner away from the door) and 2 hard opening doors. On top of that there is very bad, limited lighting in the parking lot Adding to the experience. I asked the manager on duty about the problem and he told me he was aware of the problems but there is nothing they can do as it is the policy of Steak and Shake to not allow online orders to be picked up in drive thru by anyone. As for my food it was cold by the time they got it to me, It was missing one order of fries, and the Ice Tea was soured as well as unsweet when I ordered sweet. So in closing all I can recommend is if you choose to brave the poor food in this location, don't order online! Wait to get to the site and order in the line, and then wait for them to make your food, because the food you get will probably be warmer, and you will be safer! As for me I will never endanger myself or my wife again to spend even "One More Dime" in this location because "THEY DON'T CARE"!!!!!

The soda machine didn't have any carbonation, but they didn't tell us so we paid for soda. We asked for our money back and the manager was very nice about it, but it will take several days to get a refund! We shall see if we get the refund. The food was also cold and the spaghetti noodles were all stuck together and the portion was smaller than usual. We were the only ones dining, but there were takeout orders.
Kathy M — Google review
Self-serve inside, more customer service interaction in the drive-thru, which isn't necessarily a good thing... Menu has changed, standard toppings now have to be requested. For quality has defined greatly, i.e. burnt burgers, under/over- cooked fries, and thin milkshakes. This used to be a late night fave, now it's no longer late- night, and definitely not a fave!

Red Lobster is a popular chain restaurant known for its lively atmosphere and classic American seafood dishes. The Albany location received positive feedback for its delicious food and good service, with Restaurant Supervisor Brian Nelson earning praise for his hands-on approach to ensuring a positive dining experience. Guests enjoyed the attentive and professional service from waitress Aiyanna, who recommended the flavorful Cajun chicken pasta. While the food was generally well-received, some diners noted that the famous fresh baked biscuits were served late in the meal.
Valerie is the best waitress ever! If you have her you're going to have amazing service and great food as well!

Reminded of why I stopped eating there years ago. Most of the seafood was under cooked and / or cold. Waitress was extremely busy though the dining room was nearly empty, overheard her say she was performing double duties as she was also responsible for to go orders. The dining room was filthy and the glasses had residue on them. Potatoes were not done. Lobster was not up to the lowest of standards and all of this took over an hour to arrive to the table. Swee tea was delicious!
Michael C — Google review
Let me start with my waitress Aiyanna was great !!! There was no host at the front for about 4 minutes and when he did show up (no it was not packed and he said my fault i didn't see you come in) I wasn't greeted. I sat at the bar and had the pleasure of Aiyanna as my waitress (like I stated earlier) who was very attentive and professional. The food came out quickly and for the most part spot on. The Cajun chicken pasta (which was recommended by my waitress) was extremely good. The cheddar Bay biscuits were fresh out the oven and perfect. My complaint would be whomever cut the lettuce for the salad literally gave my almost the whole end/root of it. I would go back if I was in the area.

They were out of just about everything to start with, but what really topped it off everybody at our table complained about their food being cold. For the amount of money that the food cost portion sizes could be a little bigger. Thank God for the free biscuits otherwise we wouldnt have even gotten full. The cooks need to do better period and that's just the truth. #regroupRedLobster

The chef even came out to make sure our food was cooked the way we requested. (My mother doesn't like her Brussel sprouts crispy) they broiled them and made sure they were soft for her. Long story short they level of service has not changed with this restaurant. I will be going back asap.

It was good, I have no complaints food or service wise. Everyone was very nice. We got sushi and Tokyo is higher priced compared to other sushi restaurants but Tokyo is definitely fancier than other restaurants I've been to. Something to be aware of 18% gratuity is added for groups of 2 or more which is something new to me. Im used to party's 6 or more so it was a small suprise at the end to have 18% added ontop

This is my second time having this server(Tykeria is what the ticket says). If she would write down the order, there would be a less chance of a mistake. We ordered 3 Dr.pepers. My wife's was mixed with another drink. I tried several times to wave my server down with no success. The kitchen lady came to our aid, and i asked for another drink. You could smell bleach when she set the cup down. So trying again to get my lazy server. I had to go ask the bartender for a drink. Also, I did not order all drums. They were tuff and rubbery. The celery was old, and appeared they tried to cut off the bad spots. We said no carrots, but got extra. When I moved my onion rings, there was a puddle of grease. So the bottom ones were soggy. After an hour and 20 min, we got to leave. Let's do better please. If we return, we'll sit at the bar. Bartender was doing a great job.

Horrible experience. Went on a Saturday night with Ga football game playing. Rrstraunt full of people only 3 servers for entire restaurant. Customers cleaning their own tables in order to sit down. Customers going to bar to to grab their own drinks. Waited over an hour and half for appetizers that were cold upon arrival. Mgt came out 1 time during our visit of over 2 hrs absolutely ignoring the absolute chaos happening in the dining room. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We go for the wings! Best wings in town. 5 stars overall but 3 stars for service because our waitress was really slow about getting our drinks and taking our order. I specifically asked to put my sons order in first and when it comes out and put on the table we will order. We do that because my son eats extremely slow as hes autistic. But nope she puts the order in, comes back 10 minutes later to say that fries are coming up now and proceeds to take our order and then our order comes out but my sons food was still not delivered. She said its ready but didnt deliver them for another 10 minutes! Like really?!! So while we were done with our food we had to sit and wait on our son for another 20 minutes to eat. This is why we order his food first no matter where we go unless its fast food. We will go back of course but next time I will have to be more stern about my son getting his food first and on the table before we order ours.

Nice environment with good music. The waitress was right on at the beginning of the visit and very prompt to the ordering and delivering of food. However, it took a good 20 min afterwards to find her to get the ticket to pay. The food was amazing. We ordered 30 wings with different flavors. Tuesdays offer 1/2 off on wings, sp that was a huge plus. We will come back probably on a Tuesday!! Thanks.

What a disappointment!! We love Golden Corral but will never return to this one. The food was good and that's the only reason I gave 3 stars. The restaurant itself was dirty. Good luck getting the food you wanted because the trays went empty for quite a while! They only had vanilla ice cream. The other side where chocolate usually is was empty. And forget getting a spoon to eat your ice cream with. All 4 spoon containers were empty. We had to eat our ice cream with our dinner forks. I think we had a waitress, although we NEVER saw her or him. There were plenty of them standing around the restaurant gabbing. We had to put our dishes on the edge of the table to have room for the next plate. And, we had to get up and ask one of the many standing around to refill our empty drink cups. Tip: not monetary Here's a tip: Do your job, and you'll get a monetary tip. Golden Corral Corporate, you need to get a better manager at this one, or certainly your doors will close!

All of the food was fresh, and we arrived 45 minutes before closing so that was a pleasant surprise, there were so many options to choose from. The server was super nice, and all of the food tasted amazing. I love that. They have a children’s night on Mondays, which allows children under 12 to eat for free. That helps large families tremendously. I would eat here again in a heartbeat, because I have been to several Golden Corral locations, and this is far the best.

We love Golden Corral and eat here often, but tonight was disappointing. The fish was rubbery, the chicken was tough, the meat loaf was too salty. Yeast rolls should be golden and soft, not dark brown and hard. In short, the food was over cooked. Apple pie should be served hot or at least room temperature, not refrigerator cold. There was no fudge or caramel topping for the ice cream. Service was mediocre.

My first visit here was great! It was crowded (on a Saturday) but we got through the line in good timing. The waiter was polite and very helpful while we dined. The food line was loaded with too many options to choose from, but I chose what I liked. Food was fresh, tasted good and seasoned just right. Desserts were also tasty but I couldn’t enjoy too much of it (I got full from all the food). Nice visit and will definitely return again.

But what truly made our visit special was our server, Lizzy. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional—constantly checking on us with a smile, keeping our drinks filled, and clearing our plates promptly without us even having to ask. It’s rare to find service this good at a buffet, and Lizzy went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Golden Corral is lucky to have her on their team! They're almost more family than friendly at this point (they know us and we know them and our daughter likes to dance to the music and give them high fives). Diners rave about the warm atmosphere reminiscent of charming mom-and-pop eateries found in Mexico, where every meal feels like a delightful escape.
Love this place so much!!! Everytime I come here the service is always great and the food is even better. You’re always served chips and salsa. The servers are very nice and speedy as well and you don’t have to wait so long to get your food. Food comes out hot and fresh every-time. The atmosphere is very nice and open. Highly recommend

Was a busy place and lots of families present. Staff was friendly and young blonde bartender lady was very nice and good at her job. Was a tad disappointed with the Salmon it tasted too fishy but it was cooked right so I never said anything. Broccoli and carrots etc with it was excellent.

Good Mexican food in Albany. The place was really busy and it was also a Friday night. I recommend it as a family friendly place also as I saw hotdogs on the menu. I don’t believe I have ever seen this at a Mexican food restaurant. Our server was very good. He checked on the table many times. The free chips and salsa kind of sucked but my entree of shrimp quesadilla dinner was good. Margarita was also good. I had the house margarita.

Excellent restaurant serving authentic Mexican cuisine. Staff were friendly. Prices are super reasonable. They accommodated our special requests. Highly recommend you try this one out!

Seen all of the great reviews so I stopped in. Not sure if they were just having a off day or if this is what passes as good in the area? Chips and salsa almost seemed store bought. The margarita was just plain awful, pre-mixed in a big machine behind the bar. The steak tacos were very dry and hard to chew. The flaunta was by far the best thing I received with my meal. The service was friendly and prompt.

What a great experience! Vegan and Vegetarian friendly! I was in town and stopped by based on the reviews and they did not disapoint! They were very busy but seated me immediately. I asked them for a Vegan option and they pointed out the vegitarian fajitas. I was sitting no more than 5 minutes (total) and my food arrived. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! It was great to find a place who seasons their vegetables and does not rely on their meat for flavor!!! Not only that, about halfway through the meal, the owner/manager was walking around asking how their customers experience was. Really great food, awesome service, and overall excellent experience. Thank you!

If you're ever in Albany, Georgia, make sure to stop by Crazy Buffet for a delightful culinary experience that combines the best of Japanese and Chinese cuisine. This charming buffet offers an impressive selection of dishes, including a sushi bar that stands out with its fresh and varied rolls. While the buffet may be on the smaller side, it compensates with quality offerings—most notably their delicious sushi and other above-average dishes.
Food always consistent and good. Quality same as it always been. Love the normal lo mein noodles. Hate the skinny ones that are at most restaurants. Flavor is always on point.

As far as buffets go, this one wasn't bad. The restaurant seemed very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, polite and prompt. The food was fairly good, except for certain items which tasted dry from sitting out too long.

Service was excellent, and the place was clean, but the food was all soggy. Personally, I won't come back again.

Cajun chicken is a must try, all the food I had was excellent. Restaurant is pretty clean but could use a little extra attention is places. The staff were friendly and attentive.

It's a smallish buffet, but the sushi was VERY GOOD, and all the other dishes were above average. Giving 5 stars overall because of the sushi. The coconut shrimp and a couple others were sort of the same old mushy recipe that buffets have, but most were top tier.
Raven M — Google review
Very attentive staff made sure our meal was excellent and that everything was fresh. The sushi bar had a wide variety of very good sushi rolls. Really, this is a very good Chinese buffet and all the food was good, there was a wide range of options both hot, cold and fried. I'll be back when I'm in Albany. Crazy good in my book

If you’re not a “big eater” do NOT come here, if you leave food on your plate and it’s a decent amount, they charge you take out prices for wasting it. Bad service, then they ask for a tip. Like literally to your face... for what?? You didn’t do anything. Smh, do better.

When you find yourself in Albany, Georgia, make sure to stop by The Bread House & Granary. Nestled in a charming historical building from 1908, this delightful spot offers a unique blend of farm-to-table dining, fresh bakery items, and an inviting juice and coffee bar. Not only does it serve delicious meals like chicken salad sandwiches and pimento cheese burgers, but it also supports the GraceWay Recovery Residence charity for women battling addiction.
This was my first time visiting The Bread House, but it won’t be my last. Located in the historic district of Albany, GA this country sheek restaurant was quite sizable hosting a 20+ wedding celebration at the table next to us, but wasn’t so large as to not feel like the service was lacking. My favorite bites were the soup of the day, sausage and mushroom, the blue cheese vinaigrette dressing made in house, and the southern fried chicken sandwich. Everything was very enjoyable especially the atmosphere, the portion size, timeliness, food quality, and attention to detail.

i recently visited the Bread House Restaurant at 520 N Jefferson St, in Albany, GA. I had a great lunch of a chicken salad sandwich. I sat at the counter and had very good service. The building that the restaurant is located in had a great decor and from where I sat, I could see the bakery operation which was quite large. Definitely worth a visit. They also have an area of fresh baked goods. I bought a package of chocolate chip cookies, delicious.

This was our first time visiting the bread house in Albany, Ga. It did not disappoint. The decor is so cute and rustic. ( Which I love). We got the spinach and artichoke dip, My husband got the Ruben and I got the Texas Grilled cheese. I would definitely recommend visiting the Bread House.

Found this place while working in Albany. I’m really glad they are here. There just aren’t that many nice places to eat in downtown Albany. The atmosphere and service are great. My server paid the perfect amount of attention, refilling drinks and checking if everything was good. I wanted the house burger and asked if they could put pepper jack cheese as I saw another burger comes with it. Nope. But that’s ok I really like a good pimento cheese burger so I went with that. The toasted bun was great, the fries were great, the burger…. It was missing some seasoning. It just needed something as simple as salt and pepper and it would have been great. I was also a little disappointed with the pimento cheese. They did melt it, which is a big plus. Many places put it on cold and serve it. The problem is, there just wasn’t enough. One or two bites where it was a little thicker, it tasted good. But honestly I couldn’t taste the pimento cheese for most the burger because it was such a thin layer. That being said, I will for sure make this one of my regular stops when I return to Albany.

One of my new favorite places!! Me and my husband stopped here on the way home from the beach, we were very very happy with our choice to eat here. The atmosphere is amazing, the service is phenomenal, and the food is truthfully perfect. I mean even the sweet tea was just awesome. Our food came out quick and very fresh. I got the burger (the jam was so good) and a salad (such a fresh salad and amazing raspberry vinaigrette). My husband ordered the texas wrap and swears it is the best wrap he has ever eaten. Cheyenne was an awesome waiter. We will definitely be coming back!

Oh my goodness, this place is a little pricey but the food is so good & quite obviously crafted from fresh ingredients. And if you like ambiance, it has it in abundance. The caramel latte I had was smooth and full of flavor. I will definitely be back!

Brittney R — Google review
As much as I wanted this to be a 5 star experience, our second visit was not as epic as the first! The good--my husband's chicken salad wrap was just as delicious as the first visit and the homemade chips are crispy and tasty. The not-so-good-- my candied bacon BLT on sourdough bread was lackluster with one redemption--the bread was delicious; soft with a crispy crust and enticing enough to keep me from ditching the sandwich! The candied bacon was cold, chewy, and shared a characteristic with the lettuce and tomato--sparsity! For the price, the sandwich had little filling, but that bread was tasty! Now, the bowl of corn chowder we shared the first visit was creamy and filled with potatoes, corn, and sausage--I think. This visit it was like a broth-thin and VERY few ingredients! It did, however, have a nice taste. This doesn't mean we won't go back--we will, to give their Fall menu a try! I also enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie and a great iced coffee the first visit, so they are definitely worth breaking some bread with!

The Flint in Albany, GA is a popular spot known for its delicious food and beautiful ambiance. The restaurant offers a variety of standout dishes, with the Georgia Peach Cheesecake being particularly raved about. The menu features items like cheesy grits, collard greens, mac and cheese, fried chicken sandwich, roasted chicken, gator bites, catfish, and more. While the food receives high praise for its flavor and quality, some have noted that the service could be improved.
I have to visit Albany for work once per month. This is now my restaurant for dinner every time I go now! I sat at the bar and the bartender was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He made an excellent sidecar martini, too! For dinner I had a side salad, stuffed flounder, and asparagus. ALL of the food was delicious! Very flavorful! Looking forward to dinner here, again. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Albany

food was delicious! i can’t recommend the potato soup & lamb chops more. The wine selections were great too, my server was very sweet. My only suggestion to the restaurant is to pay more attention at the front by the host stand when customers come in, because i was waiting for a while before i decided to wander in. I also feel like the presentation of the actual food could have been better, but the delicious taste is really what matters (& is most important!) For my first time in Albany, I’m glad i stopped by The Flint it was great!

The Flint is a great spot located in downtown Albany. The space is stylish and clean, with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff are friendly, helpful, and quick. The food is excellent, from the burgers to the seafood and meat dishes, everything is flavorful and well-prepared. The spinach dip is especially tasty and definitely worth trying. The drinks are also well crafted, and the background music, a mix of soul, funk, and R&B, sets a perfect mood for the evening. The only downside, unfortunately, is the location. While the restaurant itself is great, the surrounding area can feel a bit unsafe at times, depending on who’s around. That said, if you’re comfortable with the neighborhood, the dining experience at The Flint is definitely worth it. See you next time!

I visited the Flint on 9/20/25. We had reservation for 8pm. The experience was simply AMAZING!!! The service was great, the food was superb (absolutely delicious, no complaints) and the ambience was nice. We arrived a few minutes before our 8 o'clock reservation. We were welcome and asked to sit in the waiting area. Within 2-3 minutes we was escorted to our table but not before being greeted by the owner's son who I know as Duece. I wasn't sure if he remembered me but he did. I asked if we could change our table and he obliged with a smile. I ordered stuff flounder, rice, and salad. My guest order the red snapper which came with a red sauce and sweet potatoes and fries. The portion of food was on point but the red snapper was big (money well spent). We sampled each other food and everything was decilious!!! Our waiter Timothy came over and asked "were we celebrating a special occasion", and chatted with us a little bit. Timothy was great and made us laugh. Timothy displayed excellent customer service!!! The atmosphere was romantic. The lights were dim and the music (sax player) was a total vibe. I would love to give you guys 10 stars but I don't have that option. I think the Flint has really elevated downtown Albany. The only thing I would suggest is I would love if broccoli florets was a vegetable option. Of course with fine dining you will not pay McDonald's prices but it's worth every penny. Please treat yourself you won't be disappointed.

I was recommended this place while in town. The Georgia Peach drink was delicious. I ordered the steak medium but it came out well done, salty and drowning in grease/butter. I should have sent it back but the service was already pretty slow and I didn't want to wait. I'd maybe return to try something else but it wouldn't be my first choice.

It's my first time here, and I will be back. It was so nice. I was met at the door and seated quickly. The grits were very good, a little too salty, but add some water, and hopefully, it will thin it out. The drinks were nice . The entire atmosphere was on point. I look forward to my next visit. I even met the owner's mom. She is the bomb diggity.

Customer service was not friendly. Once my party and myself walked in it was an instant offset with the customer service. Food came out hot especially the fried pickles were amazing! Shout out to the cook. The waitress came handing my kids that’s over 12 years old with small throw away cups that’s meant for toddlers. My food was okay I order hot lemon pepper wings with lemon pepper and there was not any buffalo sauce on the wings. Kids food was done the exact way no complaints. My experience complaint is mostly with the customer service they were horrible. It almost felt as if I was in the wrong place and not welcomed. So I have to give this a 1 for customer service But the highest for the food. There was one waitress I hate I didn’t get her name but she was the best friendly smiling asking if we needed anything else. Bathroom MENS was absolutely nasty piss on the floor and toilet. Women bathroom was clean.

We came in after a long day of traveling on Friday evening. (8/22/25) We sat at the bar and the bartender said with a tone... someone is sitting there. There was an empty glass and the folks sitting there said the seats were empty n the person left. We moved down a spot and not only did no one come to sit there but the bartender never greeted us and left us there for 10 minutes. He was too busy talking to patrons and servers. We finally left and had a wonderful meal at Fireside bar n grill and left an amazing tip for the girls who were very good! :)

It was okay. Nothing I would want again. We waited awhile at the door. I walked the bar area and someone came from behind the bar and sat us. It’s been years since I’ve went and I doubt I ever go again. Our server never smiled or even seemed like she cared about our experience until she brought the check. It’s advertised that kids eat free on Tuesdays. It’s Tuesday but I wasn’t able to ask our server because she never came back. I asked the bartender and she said she thinks it’s for dinner but would have to check. Very weird service. Very. We ended up just taking out food to go. Maybe the judge tables. I’m unsure but this was a waste of time and money. Definitely loco.

Been to locos quite a bit in the past but very disappointed when I have not been to this locos in a while and yet still the same old menu with the same old style with the same old food. Gives off older sports bar vibes and even though the food wasn't horrible it wasn't really good. Very mediocre at best. The service was rough. Host was too busy scrolling insta to pay attention and didn't even know what table to sit us at and the table wasn't even cleaned for us to sit which made the wait longer. Server didn't show up for a while and when she did she seemed like she was in a hurry to get away from us. Forgot my drink initially which if she was writing it down probably would have had it to me before the appetizer. In summary same old crummy Albany GA bar food.
Andrew W — Google review
I DO NOT recommend going here. Especially based on my experience today. My party of 3 was greeted and seated quickly. Good Hostess. Once we were seated at a booth in the Bar Area; we were never greeted by anyone, much less able to order water to drink...for 3-5 MIN, and It was NOT BUSY enough to use that as an excuse. I was a sever and cook in the restaurant business for 15 years. So, I know what bad FOH (Front Of the House) service staff and a bad BOH (Back Of the House) kitchen staff, looks like. The food is mediocre at best anyway. So I won't be returning. NOR should you. I walked across the parking lot to a Mexican restaurant, and I had chips, salsa, and water within 2 min of being seated. I suggest you do the same.

A gem hidden in the Shoppes at Westover on N. Westover Blvd. If your mouth is watering for some Vietnamese Cuisine, then consider trying Viet Pho. Had to wait 20+ minutes, but when that's accompanied with awesome service, friendly staff, and good food, you can overlook some things. The environment was clean and calming. The food was great, not bland or overly seasoned, but pleasantly seasoned to taste. Served in nice sized portions. ALL food was fresh and presentable when delivered. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely consider visiting again and recommend to others.

We love, love, love Pho!! We love the upgrades and the additions to the menu. The atmosphere is clean and laid back. The food is made to order, so there will always be a wait and its worth it. Best time to visit is right when they open, otherwise the service/tables will be scarce. The Hotpot Spicy beef with ramen noodles is a fav! So I visited this place 2x I really like them the lady that's always at the counter is really nice. The food is really good they give you lots of food for your money i must say. One serving can feed me for lunch and dinner. Their pho is phenomenal that was my first meal from here. This Koren fried chicken was good I think it just needed a bit more kick but delicious.

Super excited that we have perfect Pho so close to home! It was absolutely delicious. The short ribs tasted great and were cooked perfectly, but didn’t have that specifically Korean flavor. Not pictured: shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce, we added chili to the sauce, which is already provided at the table, to spice it up a bit. Service was excellent. The only reason for 4 stars on atmosphere is it seems like a “counter service” restaurant when you walk in, but is actually full service at the table (yay). Not sure if something could be done to reflect that it’s a sit down, relax, and we’ll come to you kind of place.

Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings is a beloved chain eatery that specializes in serving up mouthwatering fried chicken fingers, wings, and sandwiches, alongside other classic American comfort foods. Many patrons rave about the deliciousness of their meals, particularly highlighting the bone-in traditional wings and the satisfying "wings and things" combo. The menu also features tasty options like chicken fajita quesadillas and hearty salads loaded with fresh ingredients.
The five star review is for Albany GA. I wish our Zaxby's in Columbus GA was good. The Zaxby's in Albany, GA food was very good. The food was hot and seasoned perfectly. I love the chicken fajita quesadillas. Columbus, GA Zaxby's is not good. Schomburg Rd location was terrible. The food tasted like day old food and I ordered around 11 am. The Zaxby's at Kitten Lake is hit or miss. So, I haven't visited Zaxby's lately and probably won't unless I'm in Albany, GA.
Fredonia C — Google review
I went to Zaxby tonight. Drove all the way home and realized Zaxby’s workers had left THE MEAT off of my grill COBB salad. I called Zaxby’s and was told I can speak with the manager. The Pointe North manager told me she could give me 25% off next, when they had left the meat, the grilled chicken off of my whole salad! What is the logic in leaving the grill chicken off of the bed of lettuce - the chicken is the reason for getting the GRILLED (CHICKEN) COBB salad! No one is grilling lettuce! The bed of lettuce is not the reason! I had driven 45 minutes to home. I made my order at 7:21 PM. They didn’t give it to me until 7:34 PM, which was an excessive wait time. When I called them after arriving home and opening up my food, it was 8:23 PM. This Zaxby closes at 9pm. Although I said it would not be feasible to drive back to the Zaxby, she says, “well I told you you could bring it back but you said you don’t want to…so”. Unfortunately, the manager failed to even apologize for the mistake. She was so bent on on devaluing me as a customer, she didn’t realize Zaxbys made a mistake. This Zaxbys location is pathetic. Too many people working there, to get everything wrong, SO often! How do you leave THE MEAT OFF!!! I think the mgr’s name was Hope. I told her “don’t waste her time writing down 25% off. “ She replied “so you don’t want the 50% off, I mean 25% off.?” (What?!!!!) She slipped up and said 50%. So why offer 25%? I am so tired of second-class citizenship treatment from businesses in Albany, especially restaurants which supposedly have standards which are not carried out, depending on who the customer is. I’m not a second-class citizen. I will not be treated like one. Zaxbys MANAGERS, & the franchise itself, should ensure the service customers receive is for the best experience, & uphold the principle that making it right is equitable. And when you mess up an order, you replace that order.

To whom it may concern, I’ll visit my local Zaby’s in Albany, Georgia on point North when I arrived to the Zaby’s I noticed this signed that stated the wings and things was $10.99. I proceeded to ask the cashier what the price correct the young lady stated yes she proceeded to ring up my order And I noticed that the price did not change to the discount price. The young lady stated that you have to get a manager, but the manager was in a meeting so he sent a supervisor to help I shared with the supervisor what was going on she stated that they could change the price. Happened in in the drive-through as well so I asked her where she going to honor the price. She stated that she could not; so I asked for the GM. He turned to look at me and that’s when the district manager stood up and walked towards me and I share with him. How can he fix this? He said to me that we are not gonna go back-and-forth and I stated to him I wasn’t going back-and-forth. Inquiring how are you gonna honor this price? This District manager stated that he would not honor the price, but would give me a discount, I stated to him this is your establishment I go somewhere else. But let him know customer is not always right, but when you leave up the wrong Price on a menu item you should honor price.

The food is always great 💕. I really like the “bone in” traditional wings and things meal-so good 🤤. The plate is also loaded with so much to chose from, can definitely be satisfied/full from one plate (wings and things) or even a Zalad-it’s also loaded with goodness 🥰. The zalad with fried chicken is good as well. Asking for extra sauce is never a problem here 😊 which is great! The drive thru line always seems to be long, but definitely worth the wait.

So many mistakes. They were not busy, had a stupid amount of employees. Cashier started with the wrong name on the ticket. No big deal. Wife's nibbles were supposed to be plain. Wasn't, had to wait about 5 more min on top of the 10. Now our fries are cold. Side of wimpy sauce, no, got hot. Burned wife's mouth. Wanted to try a funnel cake. It was burnt to a crisp. I asked for a refund on that. Manager did get on employees. And the ice machine was empty. I know your jobs are super hard. But try to do better.

We have lived in Albany, Ga 8 years and this is the first time we ate here. The reason why is because we were told it was a bar and customers could smoke. We don't smoke or drink, so this is the reason we never stopped in. Well, We were riding by, and my wife said, Pull into the parking lot and let her walk in and check it out. I'm glad we did because there's 2 entry doors, one for smokers and other non-smokers... We split a fried seafood platter that was very reasonably priced. It had a good portion of seafood. It was just like the seafood we got at the beach. The only reason for 4 stars is that the non-smokers' side is super small, and there's 2 glass doors that go into the smokers' room. The servers go in out all the time. Therefore, you will get a little cigarette smell if you sit by the doors... We will definitely eat here more often and try and sit as far as possible from the doors.

I ate dinner here with my family as we were looking for somewhere to eat on/nearby the boardwalk. At the time it was around 8pm and we were looking for somewhere to eat before watching the fireworks at Harborview. This was a problem because most restaurants closed at 9pm and their wait times were over an hour to accommodate my family. That's when I stumbled upon AJ's. When I got there, one of the staff also mentioned that "you can see the fireworks." (Disclaimer about the fireworks, I thought it was going to be a big thing but it turned out to be a 5 minute tiny fireworks display probably meant to only attract people to the boardwalk on slow days; mon/thur.) My family sat upstairs on the bar floor for this reason, and I thought the decorations, live music, and harbor view were something way too good to complain about. On the other hand, something that did disappoint me was the food. No one told me before my family was seated that "upstairs and downstairs had different menus." I wished we could've been informed about this before we sat down, but it didn't bother me too much since we wanted to sit upstairs anyway. I decided to order the gumbo bowl and Classic Fish Sandwich. (Blackened "fish". Menu doesn't really say what kind of fish? 🤷‍♂️). I thought the seafood gumbo was okay, but the fish sandwich disappointed me just a little. The "fish" was seasoned fine and cooked well, but the tartar sauce described in the menu felt nonexistent. Overall, AJ's is a nice place for a bite later in the evening, but if I was in a situation where there were more restaurants open, I'd pick another restaurant with better seafood options.

Service was fast and friendly. We had fried shrimp, they were tasty and served hot. The sweet potato fries were good. Didn’t really like the hush puppies, they were kind of dry and not very flavorful.
Gard S — Google review
We ordered the crab-stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp. Sent it back. The drawn butter dipping sauce was rancid and there was absolutely no crab stuffed in the shrimp. The place has not updated anything in a least 15 years. Drinks were watered down. Won’t be back.

My favorite spot to get seafood in the 229 area. They're reasonable, good and they have great customer service. Their cheese grits are made with A Grandmother's Love 😂😂😂!!! Their homemade tartar sauce is everything. The hushpuppies are good too!!! I go home every weekend and eat here. You don't need the butter with the crab legs, because they are seasoned to perfection. The only problem that you might have is that it's a small restaurant.

Definitely a no frills joint. In fact the place hasn't changed in 30 years. I was in town a few weeks ago to visit family for a couple of days and took my mom, aunt and niece for lunch. As usual, we were enjoying each other's company so much that once the meal arrived, I forgot to take photos! For starters we had the calamari and oysters Rockefeller. The calamari was well cooked and with a nicely seasoned batter. The oysters Rockefeller - so so - I only say this because the menu says topped with parmesan and American Swiss. American Swiss translates to processed white cheese product that may or may not taste like Swiss, but definitely has the texture of microwaved generic pasturized, processed, cheese products (singles). The red snapper was phenomenal! My niece loved the stuffed flounder. OHH and I would be remiss if I did not mention the baked potatoes. I know, NO one ever reviews the baked potatoes! These however, deserve a mention - These were large, fluffy, perfectly baked potatoes. The best part about the whole meal - the service! The two ladies working that Saturday were swamped, but handled the whole restaurant with grace, patience, and smiles and never a cross word.

Great service and fast delivery of food. Food was all right, but not worthy mentioning. Old, dated and uncomfortable dining tables, chairs and booths. Ate here once about 14 years ago. Nothing has changed.

The atmosphere is made even more enjoyable by friendly staff members, particularly standout hosts like Cami, who truly embody the spirit of hospitality with their cheerful demeanor and attentiveness to guests' needs.
Banana Foster & NY Cheesecake pancakes were good. 😋🥞👍 Biscuits & chicken were a bit dry, though. Lemonade no flavor. Servers and hostesses were awesome. Would return to this location.

Everything was delicious! Our waitress was very helpful. My Waffle was overcooked. I do like it Krispy but it was a little too much for me. I advised the waitress to let the cook know. She really wanted me to accept a replacement but I declined.

Staff were wonderful and very attentive to our large family. Food was pretty good, our family really enjoyed having breakfast together in the large dining area. The hostess whose name was Cammi said she was the hostess with the mostest and she was absolutely so sweet and kind especially to our birthday kiddo! Thank you

Overall, I am an excellent meal at this restaurant. The food was delicious. Most of the waitresses were very kind. One waitress went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and that means a lot. There was one particular worker who was not as nice. She fixed an order and gave it to the person who was waiting before me and went right past and did not acknowledge me or even want to help me. I finally got her attention and she said it was not part of her job to help me. For this young lady today, do better. The rest of your coworkers were great. You ran into the kitchen and did not come back out after I requested your manager. Not good.

Overall, the experience was great. The host was very friendly and welcoming. My server came around every time she went to a table in her section. I am just particular about how I like my pancakes cooked. They cook their pancakes just enough that is done. I like mine slightly crispy on edges. But, they were still good.

My husband and I went for breakfast yesterday. Our food was great. The grits are consistently seasoned perfectly and always hot. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is Cami, the “Hostess with Mostest”. I told her I hope her employer knows how special she makes the visit with her upbeat attitude. She doesn’t just seat you and forget about you. She goes above and beyond.

As someone who is in a different state every week for work and who has been to IHOPs all over the US…. This is by far the worst IHOP I have ever been too. All of the food was overcooked and hurt to eat, the bread was so hard it was literally making the inside of my mouth bleed. At least the atmosphere was someone decent, probably because there was barely any one there, now I know why.

The food at the Zaxby's chain seems to be the same everywhere. I always order the Big Zax Snack. It is a good deal for the amount of food. I had trouble using the app at this location, but it could have been my service more than anything. I would recommend this location!

At the drive through we placed an online order around 8:45. We had told Jamiyah and she stuttered to say they don’t do online orders past 8 even though the card was already charged and said the order would be ready soon. We were then told that they were making it anyways only for her to turn around and say they canceled it while giggling like a school girl with her coworkers. Very unprofessional and very bad at lying.

Overall experience was horrible. Service wasn’t great, none of us received a refill once, the only thing we got were to-go cups after finishing our food and getting ready to leave. Although it wasn’t great, it was a bit busier, and we could tell our waitress was doing her best to be attentive to all of her tables. The real problem with our visit however was when our food came, one of my chicken tenders had a piece of hair in it. I quickly noticed this after a bite, so I then flagged down our waitress to inform her of the hair in my food. She informed me that she would get her manager and he quickly came over. Once I pointed out the issue, the manager mentioned numerous times “I don’t see anything”, then once he saw the hair cooked into the breading of the chicken, he prompted me to remove the single tender from my entire plate, place it on a napkin, and hand it to him for him to bring me another one. Keep in mind, I have eaten maybe one or two fries and a single small bite from the tender that contained hair. Its not like I had eaten half of my food, then decided to bring up a concern. I didn’t think he was being serious at first, but he indeed wasn’t joking. He then brought me another tender, but my appetite had disappeared by this time. The managers overall demeanor throughout the entire interaction was very disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. I felt I was being treated as if I was “wrong” or “stupid”. In the end, I got a to-go box for my food, but ended up throwing the entire thing away when I got home due to the rest of the food still having contact with the hairy tender. The sandwich my family member received was not great either. I visit this location very often and have had good experiences in the past. However, with how things went, and the fact I practically threw away $55, I can’t bring myself to support a business who treats their customers like their a nuisance.

Ordered a Santa Fe salad and southwest egg rolls online and picked up for lunch at work. The salad was pitiful looking, was supposed to be topped with guac and pico de gallo. This is a $15 salad. My only option was to bring it back and pick up another salad. I explained that I was on my lunch break and was not able to come back. This was not resolved and the salad went straight into the garbage. The manager was busy and unable to come to the phone. The woman who answered the phone was very kind and tried her best to help which I appreciated. I was informed that most to go orders look like this on a normal basis although the price of the food is not reduced by the unappetizing appearance and missing items. I will never order from Chili’s again. What terrible customer service!

Service was excellent. Food was good. But the 3 for me deal was a dud. My son and I both ordered it and only one of us got the deal. My soup, drink, and entree was billed individually as if I didn't ask for the 3 for me. He went to fix it and this time my son's items were billed individually instead of as a combined 3 for me.

Never again will I eat here. Couldn't sleep at all last night for severe abdominal pain. When I was finally able to sleep I woke up in severe pain and very nauseous. Throwing up and all. I had the triple dipper. Which consisted of big mouth bites, honey chipotle chicken crispers which was what I was throwing up as well as the honey chipotle mozzarella sticks. I feel horrible..this was also all I ate on yesterday.
Shovonna P — Google review
Went on a Sunday afternoon and the bar top was completely wet. The service was extremely slow because the one bartender has to tend tables and the bar. The queso dip was so salty it wasn't edible. The digital kiosks seem to replace customer service where you pay and order from a tablet instead of a person. The burgers looked good from a visual perspective.

It's a little High but everything is going up on price. This is a update I'm doing. Today 11-20-21 service was great. Sorry I forgot our waitresses name. Short brown headed young girl. Very sweet and service was fast. She understood what I told her when I told her my husband drinks a lot when eating. So she went and came back with a pitcher of diet drink for him and myself. I visited this place several times while down in Albany, Ga., for a couple weeks. The food was so 🔥 and it is all you can eat. I never had real fried ribs before until visiting BJ's; they are the best and I never had them since. Also, the buffet is very reasonably priced and well worth the visit.

As much as I wanted to like it, the fried food had a very distinctive burnt taste to it. The only way to describe it is that it tastes like the oil that it was cooked in was completely spent. I paid almost $17 and I am highly disappointed. They have a no refund policy so I have no way of getting my money back. I don't think that I will be back anytime soon.

So, it's cheap! Looking to just fill up for cheap, this is your place. People were nice. Probably my last time coming here. I only ate meat and salad. On diet so I can't speak on their sides. The baked/grilled meats, they keep them basically in water in the pans. No flavor. The baked chicken thighs we dry(that's not easy to do). Pork chops same way. The pot roast was adequate. The salad bar, you can definitely tell that bar does not keep it 40° or below. The ranch, they definitely water that down. The person serving food, she grabbed a plate from the stack and it literally had food on it, it was nasty. Overall, humble opinion, not good, I won't return. But, like I said, $10.80, fill up, it's a good deal. "Oh my stomach bubbling"

The interior is a little dated, but the staff and the food more than make up for that. We visited from out of state, looking for something that wasn't a chain restaurant... found it here! During a recent visit, I decided to grab a refreshing drink at the drive-through. On the night of April 9, 2025, I arrived at the drive-thru well before 11:00 PM, expecting to place an order since the posted hours clearly state the drive-thru is open until 12:00 AM. After sitting at the speaker with no response, I drove around to the window and let the young woman there know I had been waiting. She seemed uninterested in assisting me, so I asked directly, “Are you all closed?” She hesitated and then said “yes”—which is simply not true. And if they closed at 11pm, I was there before 11pm, waiting. As well as another car that had been waiting. Not only is it listed on the corporate website that this location is open until midnight, but I also know for a fact that they were still operating at that time. To make matters worse, while I was waiting, I was overwhelmed by the strong smell of marijuana coming from the patio area, where employees were visibly smoking illegal substances. This entire experience was unacceptable and highly unprofessional. It absolutely needs to be addressed. I will be filing a report with corporate regarding this location.

I absolutely love Moe’s but this particular location is dirty dirty. I went in today October 27,2004 around 5pm. The place was so nasty. Food was was not fresh. I understand it’s slow but it still a business. The food where you serve was nasty all around. A lot of dried up food that had been was it all around. You suppose to constantly stir that type of food but you can tell no one had stirred anything. Had an employee in the lobby sleep. Just look very unsanitary I did say something to the employ put it being nasty and they should do better with the cleanliness. Normally I don’t write reviews but I had to on this particular occasion. I felt like I was walking into a homeless establishment. I wish I would have took photos. I didn’t know it was a photo option. Hopefully a manager or cooperate person see this. Because this need to change.

Clean, fast, the only down side was that there was a TV showing a popular game show with the volume very loud and competing with the music playing in the dining area. Very disconcerting... But other than that, decent experience over all.

Food was just fine, but cashier was rude, and asked if I wanted a drink, and I said yes, and I said can I also have a water cup and she gave me one cup, and when I said oh can I also have a small cup for water she was like okay and said give me the large cup back and I was like oh? And I was like no I want an additional cup for the water, and she was like I didn’t charge you for a drink. And I had already paid so I wasn’t going to make a big deal about it but it was just off putting. Also most of the tables were really gross and I just didn’t like the attitude

For Mother’s Day my three children decided to order Moe‘s as a treat for me. I have 16 people at my house waiting for delivery which didn’t show up. When we called they said they were short on help and there would be nothing delivered because no food was ready. When ask what we were supposed to do about 16 people waiting here to eat, the girl replied that wasn’t her problem. We received no call, no text messages, nothing at all stating that the food would not be delivered. When we were finally able to get the manager, he said it wasn’t his fault and blamed it on the assistant manager and then laughed at my daughter because she was so upset. This is disgrace. They paid over $300 for this catered meal and Moe’s did not even have the courtesy of calling us. The last text from Moe’s to my daughter stated that they guaranteed that the food would be hot and good, and they would be on time. What a disgrace that a restaurant has people in charge who take this attitude and leave families stranded, especially on a holiday such as Mother’s Day when every restaurant in town is full and there is no place to go with 16 people. I understand that people can make mistakes and that sometimes people don’t show up for work, but the problem we had is that no one even had the courtesy to give us a call to explain anything. We had to call and find out where the food was and then we got no help or sympathy from anyone. Don’t ever use Moe‘s because they are not dependable, are not customer friendly, and definitely have an “I don’t care attitude” about how they treat their customers.

A definite go to for a nice quiet breakfast/brunch. Unfortunately, I didn't write the review immediately after leaving so I don't remember the names of some of the items. So maybe someone from the restaurant can clarify if they see this. My boyfriend and I visited. From the outside, I was impressed. The outside is the first impression. When I went through the door, I was again impressed. Clean and unique decorations. The menu was easy to read and not to crowded. I hate super busy menus that aren't neat and easy to read. The cashier was very friendly and hospitable, no attitude. Very customer friendly. I ordered (I can't remember the name) croissant with chicken, peppers, onions, cheese...not sure of everything on it but it was VERY good. My boyfriend ordered the bagel with everything seasoning and cream cheese...very good...can't go wrong with those. The flavored coffees were very good too. Sorry , I can't be more specific with names but I highly recommend this place. Keep it in business. Another nice touch is they use these nice wooden trays and small individual salt and pepper shakers....what a nice touch!! My only recommendation....lose the social distancing tables. Quit limiting the amount of seating. Lets get on with it.

It is physically not possible for me to verbalize how much I love this place. An absolute gem, the kindest service, the cleanest layout, the most interesting books, the best lattes(I recommend lavender or vanilla), and the best community! I felt so relaxed and at home here and was able to get a lot of reading done(which I haven't been able to do in a while!) Thanks Elements!

Finally a coffee shop that knows what I want when I just order plain old coffee. How refreshing. Sure they got all the fancy stuff also but some of us just want coffee. Thank you Elements and please don't change.

Chicken restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Maryland Fried Chicken is a hidden gem in Albany, known for its delectable chicken livers and fried green tomatoes that leave a lasting impression. Many patrons rave about the soft-cooked livers, perfect for those with dental concerns. While some menu items shine—like the buffalo chicken strips and mac and cheese—others fall short, particularly the hot bar offerings which can be stale.
Hands Down Best Philly Cheese Steak I have ever had. You might want to call because they don’t always have them, and it takes a little time to create this PERFECT sandwich. It’s not on the menu, but it’s some of the best food in Albany, GA.
Chance G — Google review
Marilyn's is just okay to me. Some of their items are much better than others. The buffalo chicken strips are very good however decoding they use is a little tough to me. It tastes like they use extra cornmeal which don't get me wrong it tastes good but like I said it makes it a little tough. Their mac and cheese is very good now- it has not always been. Their service is pretty good but not good enough for five stars. Overall it is just okay. Not somewhere I want to go eat everyday or even every week, but it is good occasionally
Courtney H — Google review
I’m mad about them getting my order wrong then tried to justify their actions saying they didn’t understand me but where is Totts on my receipt? It’s still not my order I’ll never eat here again

I'm TELLING Y'ALL NOW DON'T GO HERE THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!!! I went here and ordered a mild strip dinner I waited in line 25 minutes I tried to get out the line but I was blocked in so when I finally got my food it was cold nasty and no where near worth the price they charged me $12 for 5 extra small overcooked day old textured cold chicken pinkys because those are not strips the tots and strips are the same size I got 10 tots 5 small strips and slaw for $12 no drink no bread or nothing do not go here this place needs to be closed down ASAP because this is just ridiculous trust me it's nasty the food is cold overpriced and just ridiculous I'll never go here again no sir!!!! 🗑️🚮🤢🤮🤮

Let me preface this by saying, Maryland's has the best chicken livers and fried green tomatoes I've ever tasted in Albany. We always get the livers for hubby cooked soft because he has some dental issues caused by previous medications, so it's easier for him to eat them soft. They're always perfect. However, I understand that the restaurant is trying, and unfortunately failing, at trying to be something it's not. That "hot bar" is atrocious. Everything is old and dried out, and it's not good. I got hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, and baked beans on the side. It had just been put out. It was all awful. They have an ice cream machine that's sitting in front of the door as you walk in, and it's never worked. The place needs a very good cleaning and updating. It's not appealing visually, and the girls who work the front aren't as friendly as the ones used to be. We'll continue to visit for the livers and tomatoes, but we won't get anything else. I hate that they closed the one on MLK because I loved going there.

The highs: The best part of the meal was the fish! Ordered the grouper and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My group ordered tilapia and no complaints there also. Customer service was very nice and staff was inviting. Loved the opening to the kitchen where you could watch your food being cooked. The lows: The building was old and inside desperately needed some repairs (the ceiling tiles that were probably as old as the town). The sides were mostly a miss. Potato salad unknowingly tasted as if it contained meat. Baked beans were actually pork and beans and the fries were fries. Overall review: Good.

Food was either undercooked or cold. Customer service pretty good. Not bad bit not completely satisfied. Ordinary fried good. Eeh!

One of my absolute favorite local Mexican restaurants. The atmosphere is always quiet and relaxed, and there's almost never an excess of people dining there (at least at the times that I go). The food is genuine and never disappoints. Service is top notch and the owner is very friendly. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed Mexican restaurant to eat out at with family.

I had not been to El Rancho in a number of years. My visit did not disappoint, the service was rapid and the food delicious. I had just forgotten how good it is, won't make that mistake again ! I had the opportunity to have a good conversation with the owners who are amazing people. I plan to return as often as possible.
Lynn B — Google review
Well I'm sorry to say but this was the worse experience I have ever had in any restaurant I've ever ate at!! Customer service was terrible from the time we walked in there! The dips are very watery and taste like dish water was added! When I ordered the waiter said they don't fix the meal I wanted with beef they always use pork. Well I did not want pork I wanted beef. She had the Nerve to tell me to go somewhere else to eat because they can't fix what I wanted to eat. We felt some type of way for her not to try to make me happy in order to satisfy what I wanted to eat. She told me to go eat elsewhere. SMH I will not visit this place ever again.
Patsy S — Google review
My sister and I ate there today and the food was rather bland... I also asked for no lettuce on my taco and I ended up with lettuce anyway, when I told the waitress she gladly replaced the taco but the replaced taco also had some lettuce. I honestly didnt feel like this place was as authentic as some other places I've visited before. Prices were adequate though.

Went and ate here for lunch. The Carne Azada tacos I had were as authentic as they come. They were amazing! The lady that was my waitress was super nice and the experience was awesome. Will be coming back for more lunches to come! Love this little hole in the wall place!

Fast food restaurant
Hibachi Express is a beloved local fast-food chain that specializes in serving up delicious Japanese cuisine, featuring an array of grilled dishes, noodles, and rice bowls. While dining in isn't currently an option due to COVID-19 precautions, this hasn't deterred fans from enjoying the generous portions that often leave you with leftovers for later. The meals are not only satisfying but also perfect for families on the go or those who need a quick meal without the hassle of cooking.
Love love this restaurant! Due to COVID19 you cannot currently dine in as to protect customers and employees. My family and I enjoy the variety of hot delicious meals they serve. All of the meals we ordered actually have you super full and many times just one of the bowls have so much food that you are not able to finish it in one sitting. That is a plus when you have mouths to feed and unable to cook lunch or dinner that day.
Stephanie — Google review
Excellent fast food, some of the best prices, limited menu, but understandable, and I still enjoy the Sweet and Sour Chicken, when I really enjoy Pork! But for the price, and speed of the food ordering and Delivery, they have a drive thru that's faster than Starbucks! I love Hibachi Express! The employees are all very helpful, and happy! This is on my way home, and I hit it up at least once a week!

The Honey Baked Ham Company is a beloved family-owned establishment known for its ready-to-serve smoked hams, alongside an array of delicious offerings like turkeys, roasts, side dishes, and desserts. Many visitors rave about their sandwiches and salads, with the option to customize your meal according to personal preferences. While some items may vary in quality—like the pasta salad or certain sandwiches—the overall experience tends to be positive. The atmosphere can get busy, but the customer service remains commendable.
The best place to get a good sandwich or box! It's also very reasonably priced. You build your sandwich and sides on the sheet, and they make it to your specifications.

I had chicken salad with pimento cheese on a croissant. It was delicious. The pasta salad wasn't as good as it normally is. Kinda tasted like the noodles were cooked a little too long, but the sandwich was very good.

First time trying them. I prefer a thinner slice of luncheon meat but all in all my meal was good. Broccoli salad was amazing
Twyla H — Google review
The customer service is awful. My elderly mother has been seeing this place on tv and I sat outside 15 mins waiting on them to open just so we can try the food. I wasn't greeted, they were still setting up for the shift and when I was spoken too it was rude about how I shouldn't be on the phone with my mom to let her know what was available. I wasn't holding up a line because I was the first customer. I was asked if I was there for lunch and was told to fill out a paper with no further instructions. However the food was good and I love the lunchboxes.

We use the app often at other locations but have never has such issues as we've had at this location. Never going back. After waiting 20 minutes in the drive thru, they didn't even have what we wanted available. It wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't ordered on the app, which meant it was pre-paid. Instead of canceling the order when they saw what it was they let us go thru the line, go thru the first window where she CONFIRMED OUR ORDER, knowing it wasn't in stock, we finally get to the second order and just offer something different, which we didn't want. Then they wouldn't even refund the payment saying it had to be done on the app, but the app says it has to be done at the store. So frustrating!

My Quarter Pounder was raw! I started eating it and it was mushy, that's how I realized it was undercooked! I was already home so I didn't go back and no one at the restaurant would answer the phone!

My child was injured 9/15/25 due to an unlabeled broken changing station. I notified them that night and still wasn't fixed when I came back to report the incident 9-16-25. I filed a report and was told I'd be contacted within 24-48hrs. That also did not happen. The restuarant phone is always busy so I've been unable to follow up. I can be contacted at the number or email listed on the report.

Mickey D's is defiantly in a tailspin. Terrible service (OK let's call it what it is- just use the kiosk) over processed food and stupid prices unless you use the app. I remember my first time ordering a Big Mac, they were amazing, of course that was 40 years ago, now the buns are dry, the meat is cold and please tell me what kind of cheese don't melt. ( it's like plastic) and to borrow an old Burger King saying - WHERE'S THE BEEF. I don't stop at McDonalds unless I really need a bathroom. Steak and shake fries are better.
William G — Google review
This has to be the worst McDonald’s. They get more than 1 car in drive thru and they are lost after that. You think the person who owns this location would do something about it. Take control and make it better. It’s been this way for years he increased customers increased profits
Jason M — Google review
I ordered the bacon, egg and light cheese biscuit and orange juice. Too much cheese and I was unable to eat it. I have got to stop waiting to check my food after I pull off from the drive thru window!!! Orange juice was great.

Every time l go, they take forever to take my order, just to tell me that they can’t make any frappes, slushies or ice cream because their machine is down. The woman who was working was not very friendly. My pizza had what looked like slime on the crust and box. I later found out that it was garlic butter. The pizza looked very rushed and the bread on one of my pizzas tasted very doughy and undone. I was not satisfied with my purchase at all and I don't think I will be visiting this Pizza Hut again because if my food was messed up once doesn't mean that if I give them a second try the same won't happen.

Ordered a large pizza and 12 wings last week at least 30 minutes before closing and they decided to tell us before when we got there that they canceled the order. What is the purpose of asking for the phone number on file when they didn’t call to properly notify us that they canceled the whole order due to “not having wings because their truck didn’t come in”…. Waste of time and gas
Asia J — Google review
Wrong pizza was delivered. Sausage instead of pepperoni, I informed driver and told him to take it back and I will wait no matter how long. While on the phone with customer service to let them know, driver returned with what I thought was the right pizza. I opened the box to see holes in the pizza. I tried to get the driver only to see he had ran off in his car. The pizza wasnt even cooked, it had holes and was stuck to the box. HORRIBLE!!! I would have waited for the right Pizza no matter how long it took. However, I will never buy from this store again.
Ivelisse C — Google review
Pizza had barely any toppings, no sauce, driver took too long to deliver the pizza so they marked it delivered at the store. I live 4 minutes away because I had time to call the store, drive there, and back, before the pizza was delivered 50 minutes from when we ordered it. Garbage food, questionable service. Delivery driver was polite.
Matt W — Google review
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Pizza Hut. I placed a very simple order—a personal pan cheese pizza—and somehow I was the only one waiting endlessly while others who came in after me were served promptly. There was absolutely no sense of urgency, care, or professionalism shown toward my order. What made it worse was the rude attitude I received. It felt completely unjust, disrespectful, and honestly, unnecessary. A simple cheese pizza should not take that long, especially with no explanation or apology. This kind of service was not only frustrating but also just plain mean. Do better. Please.
