Philippe Park, the oldest park in Pinellas County, is a serene and picturesque green space located along the shores of Tampa Bay. The 122-acre park features a historic Native American mound from a Tocobaga Village as its centerpiece, offering visitors a glimpse into the area's rich history.
I really love this park! It’s peaceful and full of nature and wildlife. You have the Native American mound and the water views. The history is also pretty interesting. There are plenty of walking paths, and it’s a great place to grill out or picnic!

We had a great time at Philippe Park with our toddler. They have a typical playground with slides and such. The swings are currently broken. There is also a separate play area with rocks to climb on. We drove to the Safety Harbor Public Library after & had even more fun!

Hello friends, Safety Harbor County has the most beautiful and magical hidden location called Philippe Park. This park has everything for the entire family. For folks looking to walk their pets, or fitness enthusiasts taking a stroll this park has it. If your into just relaxing and reading a book all a while the sea breeze giving you comfort this pls e has it. There plenty of parking, trails, picnic areas, restrooms, and benches to soak in the beauty of the bay. It is a must visit location for those looking for a positive vibe.

Philippe Park is a beautiful hidden gem on Tampa Bay with everything you could want in a Florida park. It has clean picnic areas, covered gazebos with barbecue grills, and scenic walking and bike trails that wind through peaceful, shady areas filled with palm trees and moss-covered oaks. The waterfront views are incredible, and the boat ramp gives easy access for anyone wanting to get out on the water. What really makes this park special is the natural wildlife and history. It’s a great spot for bird lovers, with frequent sightings of owls and other local species. One of the highlights is the historic Tocobaga Indian mound located inside the park, adding a unique cultural experience to your visit. Whether you’re here to relax, exercise, enjoy nature, or explore history, Philippe Park delivers—highly recommended! ✅

This is one of the most beautiful parks in Florida. A must see for any visitors to the area. Plenty of areas to accommodate a party of five or fifty. There are shaded tables and grills throughout the park. Wonderful trails for walking, jogging, dog walking, or just casual strolls. Multiple playgrounds for kids. Huge old trees throughout, many draped in Spanish Moss, offer spectacular vistas to see and photograph. Multiple areas for recreation such as volleyball, baseball/softball, fishing, and canoeing. We have enjoyed this park for over 30 years and have attended multiple company functions and family gatherings. The Indian Mound is paved and offers a glimpse into the past. Informational markers all along the way. Roads are paved (and 15 mph), easily traversed by car, bike, or walking. Almost every area offers scenic views of the northern tip of Tampa Bay waters. Something new to me was a series of rocks that I first thought maybe a rock garden, but closer examination revealed a series of climbing rocks for kids. It's a great place, wonderfully maintained. Plane to spend an hour or more enjoying it, with friends or family, or alone. Peaceful....
L S — Google review
It's a great park. Beautiful and well kept. I would score it higher however I found brown widow nests under the picnic tables. PLEASE BE ADVISED! Look under the seats and tables before sitting. I really enjoyed the park and water front. People there were friendly. Grounds keepers were very busy and doing a good job. Just check your tables before sitting.

Beautiful large park - great for a picnic, strolling on the water, a bike ride or all 3. We were lucky to spot a few dolphins right up on the ledge!
Ashley N — Google review
As local photographers/videographers, we just love this park for the variety it gives. From the different elevations and the stunning water views, it’s definitely top on our recommendations to clients!

Whimzeyland is a quirky outdoor art installation created by Todd Ramquist and Kiaralinda, who transformed their ordinary house into a colorful wonderland. The property features small performances and events in the gazebo, and visitors can also schedule a 90-minute tour of Whimzeyland and other nearby attractions. Located in a small neighborhood, this artistic gem offers free entry with no fees.
Bowling balls, glistening CDs, uplifting tiles, and creativity abound at Whimzeylad. Each corner holds a new surprise of artwork and upcycled design. It’s a technicolor wonderland for all ages and it’s free to visit, so it’s a great place to explore. I absolutely love folk art and creative spaces, which Whimzeyland provides in abundance. There’s so much detail, color, texture, and inspiration. You get a true sense of excitement and wonder as you walk around and notice details at each turn. It’s an invigorating space! The photos don’t do it justice, go see for yourself. Seems best for a quick stop but you could spend longer here if desired. There’s some seating in a gazebo plus art and postcards available for purchase on an honor system. There’s also a donation box at the front. Easy street parking in the neighborhood makes this handmade wonderland an effortless visit. Please remember that this is someone’s house, so be respectful of the property and the neighbors.

It is a symbol of folk art and a place like a treasure. With the most ordinary things, it presents a stunning visual beauty. In the future, come here to learn and learn from the back garden practice. Although this place is small, it may be as big as a small house for an ordinary family. There is not even a decent parking space.
Yongqing C — Google review
Great place to visit to appreciate art that can truly be made of anything. Incredible collection of stuff across ages and used uniquely :) If you are in the area its worth stopping by for sure.

Words cannot describe this place from bowling ball to CDs to stuff that we usually throw out made into art. Recommend if you’re in the safety harbor area to come and check it out hopefully it’s a nice cool day so you can walk around and look at the weird stuff..

Bar
Gigglewaters is a restaurant, bar, and classic movie theater located in downtown Safety Harbor. The establishment draws inspiration from the term "giggle water," which referred to alcoholic beverages in the late 1920s. This speakeasy-style venue features an L-shaped bar, pressed-tin ceilings, and a private movie screening room. It offers a mix of classic and contemporary cocktails for guests to enjoy.
Definitely not our first time at Gigglewaters! One of the best spots in Tampa Bay for food, drinks and an incredible, unique atmosphere. The burgers are otherworldly, with beer cheese injections, top notch beef, and some of the most hypnotizing toppings available anywhere. The chicken options are amazing. From the movie screening room, the charming staff (ask for Maria!!), the drinks oh my goodness Gigglewaters!!). For the locals, we are lucky to have this place! For visitors : come to Gigglewaters!! 5 stars is not enough! 10 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you are in the mood for finger food, cocktails, and a relaxed atmosphere, this is your place. A slightly quirky place with attentive waitstaff and a large (pet-friendly) patio. I'd say this is the best spot for Safety Harbor people watching. The menu is based on elevated kid's menu food items (dogs, melts, mac&cheese, and burgers) with only a few vegetarian options. I have to admit that I am always wondering about the quality of the meat when it costs $2 to replace a wagyu beef patty with an impossible (vegan) patty.
Gottfried K — Google review
Wow!! This restored speakeasy atmosphere is so charming. There is a beautiful outdoor patio seating area as well as a speakeasy vibe bar and restaurant. However, the true charm is in the dinner move theatre. What a wonderful, different experience. I went on a Friday the 13th and the movie shown was, Yep Friday the 13th. The dinner theater room has quaint seating and wooden tables with lamps on each table that you light up when you want to call the waiter. Everyone is very helpful, explains everything and the menu is fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. The appetizers, the main courses and the popcorn were all done so well and with delicious twists. Cocktails were also well done and they have many unique cocktails. I will definitely be going back to enjoy more movies and dinners. If you're looking for something different, fun and suitable for all ages this charming place is definite go to.

Retro restaurant, movie centric social scene and screening room! I love reading the menu and guessing what burger it’s named after. These are waygu burgers by the way! Try the Mia Wallace burger! On select nights they show movies in the back screening room with food and some dress up like the characters in the film. The service and atmosphere is something everyone should experience. Thanks to our server Richard D.

I’m not reviewing the brick and mortar location but the mobile food truck instead. I tried reaching out to the brick and mortar and someone told me that they don’t know who I should speak with. That being said, I have been in food services for a long time. I post both positive and negative reviews for the many different places I’ve frequented over the years. I always attempt to reach out in person before any negative reviews as I believe in giving an owner the opportunity to make things better for the next customer in line. This past Friday I had happened to be in downtown St Pete and discovered that the Giggilewater Food Truck where it was set up at a local watering hole on Central Avenue. I saw the truck pull up and begin to set up shop and after waiting for them to start serving I opted for the Frito Pie and boy was I disappointed. Between the stale chips and the chili that was either canned or gaffed up and reheated one too many times it just wasn’t good or worth the price. I’m sure that if I drank and had a few cocktails before I ordered it maybe I wouldn’t have cared but when sober people are served this type of food they will most likely share my sentiments about the horrible taste and disappointment. So if you’re considering consuming food off this truck when it’s in your neighborhood or location please either have a few shots or pints before you order. If you’re sober and the designated driver for the event then find something else nearby.
William C — Google review
I visited Gigglewaters in Safety Harbor and it’s one of the more unique spots around. There’s a speakeasy vibe inside, with a screening room tucked in the back so you can grab dinner and catch a movie. The menu leans toward comfort with some creative twists. I tried the GiggleMelt, a Wagyu beef patty between garlic toast with pimento cheese and roasted poblano peppers, plus house-made Thousand Island sauce. The beef was juicy, the cheese combo hit just right, and the garlic toast added a crunchy but rich texture. Other picks like the PB&B burger are also standouts. Fries and pretzel apps are solid side choices. Service felt friendly and relaxed, the kind of place where people hang out instead of rush through dinner. Portions are generous and drinks are fun. If you want a place that mixes bold flavors, good burgers, and a fun night-out energy without being pretentious, Gigglewaters is worth jumping to
Blurqi — Google review
The food was so good, I forgot to take a picture of it before I started eating it. Savannah is an amazing bartender, she did a great job with a custom drink I desired, so happy with it! The food is a 10 out of 10! Will return!!
Clinton G — Google review
The screening room is a great concept, just not fully baked. Don't expect to be able to see anything you order because you eat in complete darkness. This is a shame and I wasn't prepared for it. Our waitress told us the small lights on our table (the tables are much too small to accommodate dinner plates for two) were only for signaling that we need something; when our food was delivered I asked if I could turn on the light so I could see, cut, and eat my meal, and the server said I could have it on. Soon the waitress arrived and asked what I needed; I explained I was told I could have it on to eat. She said absolutely not there are no lights allowed during the movie. I said can I move to the dining room to eat, then? She went and asked the manager, then came back and curtly said the manager decided I could eat with the table light on so I wouldn't miss the movie. While I appreciate that, I also think it's ridiculous that I had to get permission from a manager to see and eat my food without making a mess or getting it on me or the floor. Just weird. I think it would have been fine if my expectations were to have to be coordinated enough to eat in darkness. The caprese salad was ok, but since I couldn't see it it didn't taste as good. My cocktail was delightful but again, I have no idea what it looked like. Ultimately this is a fun concept but it's not super well executed and the service experience was disappointing. To order, you use your phone to scan a QR code for the menu -- then you write your order on a small card with a golf pencil, all in the dark, then turn your table light on to notify the waitress to come and take your card. It's just not a very well thought out process. If it has to be dark the whole time for the movie, why make people use their phones to access the menu? And trying to read and sign your check in the dark is also pretty impractical - checks are brought out before the movie is finished, I presume to encourage people not to sit around so they can prep the space for the next showing. Anyway, like I said, this is a great concept it's just not there yet at this particular location. I would go back and just sit at the bar, where the delicious and creative cocktails being crafted can be fully appreciated.

History Museums
The Safety Harbor Museum & Cultural Center is a compact town-history museum located on the site of the Tocobaga Indian shell mound, offering workshops on writing, arts & crafts, and more. Established in 1970, it showcases historical and archeological artifacts from prehistoric to modern times. The museum's exhibits include fossils and dioramas that tell the story of the Tocobaga Indians who lived there during the sixteenth century Spanish exploration of Florida.
Small but loaded with lots of neat displays to look at. I learned some interesting facts about Florida.

Neat small museum. Be sure to watch the video for history.
Eric — Google review
Great small museum to visit. Watch the little film they show there; it's worth it if you want to learn about the history about Safety Harbor. You can either walk through it in 10min or spend an hour, or more. It all depends on how much time you spend looking at artifacts, images, and historic items. It apparently is also a great venue for parties and weddings.
Nicole L — Google review
Nice and quiet little place with info about history of the area and also some other (changing) art on display. There is a lot to see and learn for the interested, unfortunately there is absolutely nothing in regard to native people fishing habits/ways, which is surprising, since the whole area is basically on the shore so I would imagine natives would have used the ocean's resources quite a bit.
Manuel B — Google review
Interesting museum with various artifacts. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Small, so you can enjoy the museum and still go out for lunch or dinner in the area. Entry is a donation.
Maria A — Google review
The staff at this little gem is super friendly and informative. I was greeted immediately upon entering the building and shown around to all the exhibits, all the while getting information about what was being shown. It’s a small place but nestled so close to downtown it would be easy to incorporate into your day! I recommend this museum as a fun informative addition to your visit to Safety Harbor!

stopped by at this museum when they were having a painted rocks exhibit.. the exhibit was great but it was even better to find this nugget full of local history (I always thought Odett Phillippe was female - Not!) An older gentleman, a volunteer, was very helpful and knowledgeable about local history and I found myself mesmerized by his storytelling. it’s rare to find anything of value that is free but this museum is a real gem.

Nature preserve
Park
Discover the natural beauty of Folly Farms Nature Preserve, a 9.95-acre sanctuary located in Safety Harbor. Originally a horse farm, this preserve was generously donated to the city and now offers various amenities such as a butterfly garden, playground, community orchard, and nature trails. Visitors can wander through native and butterfly gardens or relax on sway bench swings while taking in the serene tranquility of the surroundings.
This is a hidden gem of a place! So majestic and full of wonder and beauty. Every corner you turn there’s more and more little gnomes all around the property! I had to take my twins here when my friend recommended it. Thomas Dambo, an imaginative artist from Denmark, turns discarded materials into giant troll sculptures that invite exploration and wonder. Hidden in natural landscapes, his works aren’t just whimsical— they remind us that waste can become art, and that rediscovering nature can start with a tale etched in wood. And what are the odds that one was built right in my backyard? So when I heard one of these wooden sculptures was super close to me, I had to check it out for myself. This place is so exquisite, I left little momentums around the gardens to give back to nature for what it’s given to me and my kids— magic. 🧚🏼🧌💚 There’s a small playground for kids, a little library to give and take books, I always leave journals because who doesn’t love journals? And by the time we left the preserve both journals I left were taken, so I left one more for someone who may want it :) there’s a butterfly labyrinth, a garden, a gazebo, a bunch of benches and tree stumps to sit on, the wind phone, which actually has a story behind it, it’s to communicate with the deceased from the 2011 earthquake that hit Japan. Which I find to be very beautiful in a way, to display a piece of history like that. You learn so much here, and the staff is very helpful when it comes to plants and any other questions you have about the farm. Definitely recommend this for all ages! It’s free too! You definitely can get lost here for hours, there’s so much to discover and I’ll definitely be back to explore more with my little ones!
Ally — Google review
Located just a few minutes from the downtown in case you want to eat or have a drink after the short walk, for those who love nature is a relaxing place where you see many butterflies 100% recommended 🦋🌸💐

What a unique and enjoyable park! So cool to have something like this to show gardening, farming, and animal care. All free unless you want to personally tour the enclosures and feed the animals, which is someone like two bucks. Good luck finding a better deal than that!
Andrew S — Google review
For all my whimsical fairy lovers this is your spot! First coming in there’s GOATS that you can pet, the woman working even let me feed them some apples🥹 there’s also chickens, guinea pigs, bunnies and a turtle to befriend! We walked around the whole park, there’s fairies houses everywhere so make sure you’re always on the look out, especially in the butterfly garden🦋🧚🏼‍♀️🍄 Seriously felt the fairy energy the moment I stepped into this little wonderland😊 Will definitely be back

Cute little stroll thru gardens, saw lots of birds and butterflies there was a plant sale going on. Had my dog with me so didn't go into petting zoo. Enjoyed the gnome sculpture. Safety Harbor has great parks!

It's a nice little park with a gravel trail around the perimeter. There is a community garden, a playground, bathrooms, a petting zoo, a butterfly garden, and a 17 ft Gnome. The spring peepers or tree frogs made it even more magical with their songs.

❤️❤️❤️ So happy we made this stop at Safety Harbor Art and Music Center. It was and is one of the coolest ways to spend a few hours in Safety Harbor. There was just so much to take in! We did some shopping here, listened to some awesome music, spoke with the owners about the nonprofit, about musicians on their schedule, workshops, events, art classes and so much more. Everyone was so friendly and there was so much to look at. The store was so cool with so many offerings. This is truly a unique organization. They have storytelling nights, a drum and dance circle, and open mic nights in addition to what I listed previously. If you haven’t been here yet and our looking for something very unique to give your energy to, this is it! We were so excited to cross its path and will return anytime we’re in the area!! It’s a fantastic place to purchase some really cool gifts!

Amazing people, cool art, and great music. Perfect intimate atmosphere for a concert, like being with family. A must stop in Safety Harbor! One of our absolute favorite places!!
Linda L — Google review
An expansive art center and outdoor space filled with eye popping art! I believe it all started at homes on 12th Ave. and 3rd Street where houses started popping up with public art displays that are still there today. Having worked in Safety Harbor for 18 years I saw the beginning of delightful, unique lawn and home art. Currently this location is a huge display, workshop and a great way to see, feel and enjoy art. The SHAMc is a huge building covered in mirrors. A large decorative elephant is a wonderful greeting. We took our granddaughter here last week and she couldn't believe it!! Then we drove to my memory of the "art houses" which continue to grow. I highly recommend taking this beautiful art in. You don't even need to get out of your car ...just enjoy the ride!!

Safety Harbor Waterfront Park is a charming and historic spot in Florida, offering a beautiful waterfront area with picturesque views of the harbor. The park features covered picnic shelters, open spaces for gatherings, and opportunities to watch sailboats and wildlife. It is connected to the Safety Harbor Park Nature Boardwalk and Veterans Park, providing access to public restrooms and drinking fountains. This 13-acre city park offers a serene setting for enjoying the outdoors, with palm trees scattered throughout.
I love this place! It is very clean and "happy". It just has a really good vibe. There is a cute beach with clear water that is shallow and you can walk quite a ways out into the water. On land, there aren't a lot of trails to walk, so you will be repeating the path and boardwalk, but it's worth it.
Lori K — Google review
Waterfront Park in Safety Harbor is a beautiful place to see the sunrise. The pier is still broken, but I was told that they're starting to work on it again. They have paved concrete walkways around the park. But a really beautiful boardwalk that goes through the mangroves . There you can see all the different types of birds that live in the Safety Harbor area there on the water. Great place to take your dog for a walk as long as you clean up after the dog. The grass in the park is actually fake which I thought was a little odd. There's a couple of tables to relax and enjoy the view as well as a couple of benches it is very handicapped friendly and very active there early morning with everyone taking a morning stroll or hike. On Sundays they have the outdoor Market down the street. But that doesn't open till 9:00
Michele G — Google review
The park is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, shaded areas, and a charming boardwalk that winds along the water's edge. I spent a delightful afternoon strolling along the pier, taking in the stunning views of the bay. It's the perfect spot to relax, people-watch, or simply enjoy the gentle breeze. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, adding to the overall charm of the experience. Whether you're looking for a quiet escape or a place to enjoy outdoor activities, Safety Harbor Waterfront Park is a must-visit. It's a true oasis in the heart of the city. This 0.9-mile out-and-back trail near Safety Harbor, Florida is an easy route, it takes an average of 16 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding and walking.

I go to a safety harbor often with family and friends. They have great restaurants and shops, it's just a cute little area and you can walk down by the water. It has an artsy vibe. My last visit was the 4th of July to see fireworks. Safety harbor is constantly having little events like the chalk festival, Street fairs, they have events for every holiday.

We just spent the day here and it was quite and peaceful. Free parking is a plus. Lots of walking and biking paths. And the pier is cool also. We took our beach chairs and sat under a palm tree and just watched the water. The bathrooms are clean and close. We ate our lunch on one of the covered picnic tables and played cards and watched the boats go in and out. The town is just up the hill and there is cold stone ice-cream. There are also lots of little shops. I know this is a review of the park but you could walk up for ice-cream and sit and eat it watching the water. I almost forgot we saw manatees!!!

What a wonderful Waterfront Park! Its an absolutely free park plus no parking fee of any sort. I enter walking by the harbor, Palm trees throughout the park, I found myself surrounded with greenery. New fresh bright Green leaves everywhere I gazed. There’s one extended pier available for fishing, it has covered seating areas too. One of the lucky people caught a Sting Ray, I recorded a video of how they had to let it go. One fisherman bagged multiple fish( mullet) using his net. I’ve added a video for that too. That said, The connecting trails are the best part about this Waterfront park, felt extremely calm and relaxed while I sat there and just breathe. I highly recommend this place for kids, also keep in mind No vehicles or pets are allowed on the trails. Most advantageously, the entire park is wheel chair/Stroller accessible. Walk, jog, sit, relax, catch a fish or two, there’s a lot you can do here.

A very nice and clean waterfront park. We've been here more times than I have toes or fingers. If you're looking for a place to get some sunshine while taking a walk or a picnic (and you want to be near the water, of course), come on over. It's right beside a small marina, too, so you can enjoy the dozen or so boats moored here. The men's bathroom is clean so that means, as you well know, the women's bathroom must be immaculate. An added perk is that this is right in downtown Safety Harbor, so you can walk up and grab an espresso or bite to eat in any one of the great little places that line Main Street.

Good place to launch your boat but parking is very limited. The veterans park is nice and quiet to enjoy the sea breeze and relax, there is also a nature trail boardwalk nearby. Unfortunately the pier that existed before was destroyed by a hurricane and still not fixed.

What a beautiful place in a cute little town of safety harbor! We love coming here for watching sunsets and sunrises. And manatees are a bug bonus sometimes. Very picturesque and enjoyable. Its never too crowded and very close to a lot of great eating spots! You can do plenty of fishing around, go paddleboarding, take your kayaks and canoes out, lot of space for bike paths and parking for free, restrooms, water fountains all are right here. It is family friendly and my fav spot in the city to relax at. Stop for few minutes to admire this beauty!

Crooked Thumb Brewery, established in 2015, is a popular spot for craft beer enthusiasts. Housed in a converted mid-century warehouse, the brewery features a 15-barrel brew system and up to 20 beers on tap at any given time. The bar and seating area offer views of the production area, while an outdoor beer garden provides a comfortable and shaded space for patrons to relax.
I can't say enough good things about the Crooked Thumb Brewery. They have been a great supporter of helping Local Animal Rescue Groups reach there Adoption and Fundraising Goals. Over the last 3 years we have had over 15 events at their Brewery. They have wonderful craft bees, food trucks on the weekend and some amazing live music...plus they are happy to say "DOG'S ALLOWED!"

I can’t say enough good things about Crooked Thumb Brewery in Safety Harbor, Florida! This place is an absolute gem for beer lovers and anyone looking for a laid-back, fun vibe. They always have an excellent rotation of beers brewed right on-site, so there’s something new and delicious to try every time I visit. From crisp IPAs to smooth stouts, their creativity and quality never disappoint—every sip is a testament to their craft. The atmosphere takes it to another level with live music on most days, performed on their outdoor stage. It’s the perfect way to unwind—sipping a cold, fresh beer while enjoying talented local musicians under the Florida sky. The staff is friendly, the setting is cozy yet lively, and it’s just an all-around fantastic spot to hang out with friends or even go solo. If you’re in Safety Harbor, Crooked Thumb is a must-visit. Five stars all the way! Also love the music of John Kyle Rhodie!!

If you’re into good beer and chill vibes, this place is definitely worth checking out. They’ve always got a solid lineup of beers brewed right there on-site—IPAs, stouts, and a bunch of other rotating options—so you’re never stuck drinking the same thing twice. The place is super laid-back. Most days, there’s live music out on the outdoor stage, which just makes everything better. Bottom line: if you’re in or around Safety Harbor, swing by Crooked Thumb. You won’t regret it.

Very cool little place with total outdoor and garage space! What was some friends and Uncle John's Band was playing very good had fun. They could use some fans outside and carry a few more seltzers, I don't drink beer or wine. Very cool atmosphere chill vibe, perfect for deadheads! Had a good time they could use a big fan outside to move the air because they have a fenced-in yard and a stage in the back which got warm on a beautiful night. Overall I give this place four stars and highly recommend for a meet and greet for beer drinkers and wine drinkers

With an impressive selection of 40 different wines available through their unique machines, there's something to please every palate.
Really love this place. Erin is awesome. Great recommendations of wine and cheeses. And the 20-year port they have is delicious. The setting and atmosphere are very inviting and comfortable. If you love wine and exceptional service... You'll have to stop by and say hello. Let Erin know you saw this review.

Just had to come say Victoria was awesome and so personable! The whole staff seemed wonderful and wine was great! We had a glass of rose and a glass of red before having dinner for our 11 year wedding anniversary, and came back after for another round.

On February I had an absolutely incredible experience at this wine bar! We attended private wine tasting, and everything about it was top-notch. The wine selection was exquisite, with a range of options that paired beautifully with the cheese and meat boards. The board was perfectly curated. Every choice was on point, and each bite elevated the experience. Our wine expert was incredibly knowledgeable, walking us through each pairing with such passion and insight. It wasn’t just about the wine, but the entire tasting journey. You could really taste the difference and appreciate how each pairing brought out something new and exciting in both the wine and the accompaniments. On top of all of that, it’s also the kind of place where you can hang out with friends, unwind, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s ideal for a girls’ night out, with a relaxed vibe and a fantastic selection to make sure everyone has a great time. Highly recommend this spot.

Great place to try different wines at reasonable prices . Happy hour every day 3 - 6 Charcuterie boards , chips etc with good cheese and spreads. Even I liked them. Friendly and knowledgeable service especially from Matte. Erin and the other ladies too - Nicole and Natalie. Been back several times. Will continue to do so!
Robert B — Google review
The atmosphere is charming and the wine selection incredible. I love the self-service bar where you can pour as little or as many ounces as you like - a great way to taste something new! Service needs work. I've been to Sips three times now on different days of the week and find that the servers do not initiate contact. At our last visit, my bf and I pproached the bar upon entry and were welcomed to sit at any table. We did, but no one came to us for over 15 minutes. I finally got up and grabbed menus from the side table myself. We ordered one glass each and when finished, the waitress came over with the checkout tablet and told us our total. It was strange that we weren't asked if we wanted anything else/ another glass etc. We paid and left as the interaction implied. Strange. But otherwise a great place. I hope it succeeds because it's a Safety Harbor gem and I will return because one odd experience doesn't sour my love for a local wine bar, but I hope the staff can read this feedback.
Lindsey B — Google review
Awkward experience. Upon entering, the hostess says "Have a seat anywhere". The 1st table for 2 that we sit at, the host says, "That area is for a party". We move to another table and the host says he needs to move that table for the party. We finally find a table that's OK to sit at. Everything was simply average...the service, the wine selection, the charcuterie, etc. Prices were a little high, but you're paying to wine & dine in the area...I get it. Over $146 for a "cheap" bottle of Pinot Grigio, 2 glasses of same, and a "custom" charcuterie board of 3 cheeses and 2 meats. Atmosphere seems to be a confused mix, like they aren't sure whether to be high end or casual.
Charles L — Google review
Love this place!! We just stopped in for a quick glass of wine in a whim and were pleasantly surprised. There was excellent live music but not to a level that you couldn’t still have a conversation. They had a nice selection of wines by the glass, flights or bottles for every price point…and the charcuterie boards looked too good to eat!! But seriously delicious

Cool, laid-back spot with open views to the brewing kettles. Plenty of TVs showing the game. 16oz and 12oz beers depending on variety. Also serving slushies!!!! Dogs allowed.

Cool little place down the road from Safety Harbour Spa. It's a cool little operation and the place is a vibe. It's not the best beer I've ever had, but it's definitely decent beer in a cool environment. I love supporting Small businesses. I just wish the beer was either a little better or a little cheaper. It's still worth checking out though because of the atmosphere. Just don't expect world class brews. It's a small operation and they are doing their best. Support local breweries.
Richard H — Google review
A welcoming neighborhood nano brewery that offers great beers over a wide range of styles. Well behaved dogs are allowed inside. I was happy to find 3 hazy IPAs but so far I enjoyed all the beers that I tried. The Hefe might be a bit hoppier than a German Hefeweizen and comes with fewer banana esters, but it is still a refreshing and easy drinking ale. The Pilsener is crisp and palate pleasing and comes without the bread aroma but a hint of green apple.b

Thanks to Nathan we honestly had a great experience. He seemed to know everything about every beer and was able to come up with recommendations that hit the spot. Great indoor seating and out door seating, beers on tap as well as wine and seltzer available. Safety Harbor is made better by having an establishment and especially a host of this caliber. We’ll see you again soon!

Quaint little spot with a little outdoor space. Situated in a cool little area. The space is fun. Love seeing all the tap handles. The bartender the day I stopped in was super chill, kind, helpful. The beers I had were good. Tried a few that were outside of my norm so can't say they were great (probably the styles, not the recipes)..

First off, this is not the first time I’ve been here. I have been here countless times and have always felt their hospitality completely genuine and even more so, tonight! Every and anyone should stop by for at least 1 drink… I can promise you will not be disappointed (unless you don’t like craft beer…) … that’s another thing. Their beers… fantastic and a great variety across various types (I.e. IPAs, wheats, blonde, stouts, ports, etc,.!)… Anyway… going back to the ingenuity… after ordering this beer (pictured) I realized I only have my card via Apple Pay and asked the bartender if they accept. Without hesitation, not only did he say they had it, but a couple of other people who overheard this conversation said willingly took it upon themselves to take the tab. Safety Harbor itself is amazing, but if you are looking for a tasty beer. Come here.

This is a beautiful Park pretty much left untouched and natural. Except for a couple of playground areas and picnic tables. Did see some deer which was awesome! The only thing I didn't like was they had a company picnic and the music was Extremely Loud. That to me was excessive noise in such a beautiful peaceful Park. They had a disc jockey and the bass from the music was hard to get away from even by driving further away from that area. Most people in the park that had parties were more courteous. Beautiful views of the water and I loved the walking deck all around the park.

Ally makes a martini that’s nothing short of perfection, and the wings are some of the best around, crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The place feels welcoming and the staff clearly take pride in what they do. Ally is a big reason I keep coming back. She’s professional, focused, and knows how to treat regulars right. I love coming here. I’ve seen some great acts here and there is not a bad seat into the house that I have found. Nice little Biergarten in the back for concert day. Parking could be waaaay worse. Never takes long to leave when compared to other venues.

Very impressive venue! especially loved the set up for the pre-show dinner with appetizers. It was delicious and George Thorogood was absolutely amazing! Also love the outside garden area! highly recommend checking this place out plus the staff was very friendly I look forward to attending another rock ‘n’ roll band. concert.
Danna C — Google review
Excellent sound in this venue for the stand up comedy show I attended. The security was quick and efficient. There are lots of ushers to help guide you to your seat. Decent amount of leg room. The are no central aisles in this theater so if your seats are in the middle and you need to get out you have to walk all the way past the other guests so get your beverages and snacks before you seat down. The seats are padded a little and pretty comfortable. I thought the temperature could have been a little lower. I wore a lightweight long-sleeved shirt and I was a little warm but not hot. The security is plentiful and present throughout the entire show and when leaving. It felt safe in here. Exiting is a little bit of a jam because all patrons have to move down the aisles but not too bad. Uber prices were extremely high after the show but I walked a mile away and it dropped by 30$. I will return for a musical show to check the acoustics. I recommend!

Saw Brit Floyd here. I've seen them well over 10 times in 3 states. This venue was much more lit than others which affected the light show. For some reason they opted to not make it dark enough. Other than that the show was great and the staff was friendly. Of course they charge way too much for drinks.

recently saw George Thourgood along with the Artemis Pyle Band at Ruth Eckerd Hall, and it was an excellent concert. The sound quality was fantastic, and the venue itself is a great size—big enough for a lively crowd, but still intimate enough that you feel close to the stage. The Artemis Pyle Band especially put on an incredible show. The hall offers plenty of options for drinks, with multiple bars and lounges available before and during the show. The only downside is that the alcohol prices are pretty steep. Overall, Ruth Eckerd Hall is a solid concert venue with great performances, friendly staff, and good amenities—just be prepared for higher drink prices

This place is a great musical venue! We've seen a few concerts here. Access and parking was a breeze. There's a little hidden gem on the back side of the building. When you make your way through Ruth Eckard Hall work your way around the back and you'll find a quant little area outside. There is a bar, comfortable seating along with some tables and chairs to relax in before the show. The last concert we attended there was a duo playing outside which was offered a great vibe! All in all, it was a great experience and we love going there. Cheers!

GREAT PLACE to see entertainers & shows. Really good experience & not too far from Hernando County. Comfortable seating and good concession services provide almost everything you need besides plenty of parking. Great acoustics in the hall.

Live music venue
Whistle Stop Grill and Bar is a beloved American eatery with a relaxed atmosphere, offering open-air seating and regular live music. Located in Safety Harbor, Clearwater, Florida, it's known for its delicious food and inviting ambiance. The owner, Louis Kinney, expresses excitement as the calendar turns to October, signaling the start of bustling activity at the restaurant. Visitors praise the excellent food and outdoor dining area while recommending dishes like the Cobb salad and bacon cheeseburger.
I am willing to admit, I’m usually quite particular when going out. Happy hour had plenty of options for wine or liquor fans and beers were fairly priced. I was pleasantly surprised with the buffalo shrimps portion size. We got the BLT & Grouper sandwiches. They were both fantastic and filling. Our server was a nice young lady who was attentive and friendly. I also always love when the worst recent review of a place, is from someone who willingly admits they have gone to this place “numerous times before” and only recently had a bad experience. Sounds like a salty old crab to me. I’d write that one off and definitely stop here if you are in the area! It was my first time and I will most definitely stop by again when I’m passing through that area. Extensive cocktail list as well, looking to try some our next time here.

very cute place with nice staff. the food was good, all cooked very well but also all lacked seasoning. we got the pulled pork sandwich and mojo pork tacos with sweet potato fries and roasted vegetables. the pork had a great texture and the veggies were perfectly roasted, but i could not put enough salt and pepper on any of it, and the sandwich had just a tiny drizzle of barbecue sauce. overall nice place but kind of bland food

Cute and of course makes you think of the movie Fried Green Tomatoes. Nice menu with a great offering of drinks. Its 100% outside but covered...so be prepared to sweat in the summer.
Ocala G — Google review
All outdoor seating, dogs are permitted on a smaller, slightly detached patio with four tables. .the menu is a little light on vegetarian options but the deep fried onion strings are superb. Sitting on the dog patio makes you less visible and lowered the level of service a bit.

We are locals and have been here many times. Recently however, the food quality and service has been poor. We were served uncooked chicken, gotten sick after possibly eating bad pasta, and tonight had a server with a completely unprofessional attitude (Candice). We notified the manager and another server about the situation. Really liked this place at one time but it’s a shell of what it once was. Cannot recommend and will not visit again.

This place is in a great location! The food is very good! The fish dip was probably my favorite thing we got. The service was slow but I still really enjoyed the place and will go back.

It’s a nice spot for the experience but can’t say I was 100% satisfied with my food. Kids menu doesn’t have a cheeseburger, totally minor but when you have kids and the restaurant has burgers in the menu doesn’t exactly line up. I got the spicy wrap which was good, fried green tomatoes could be better since it is a staple of the restaurant. Honestly if you are looking for good fried green tomatoes drive to Florida Cracker Fish Company. The big disappointment was the $30 grouper. My husband was WILDLY disappointed that we spent that much on one measly piece of fish. Honestly not worth it, save your money and go somewhere else.

While vacationing in Safety Harbor, I decided to stop here for two reasons. One it always seemed busy driving by. Always a good sign that the food is good. Two I read online that they had good crab cakes. So I decided to stop for a late lunch one day. Unfortunately, they no longer serve crab cakes but many other good choices. I dined alone so I was somewhat taken aback that it took quite a while before someone came to seat me. There was no one ahead of me. But once I was seated my waiter was very attentive. It is kind of an outdoor restaurant but they have plastic walls up with plastic windows. It was a bit cooler and a bit windy that day. I decided to order appetizers as my lunch. I had Seared Sea Scallops with Avocado Tomato Salsa which were delicious one the best I have ever had. I also tried the WSG Fried Green Tomatoes (Family Style). This was very good but I think it would have been better to share it with others as intended by being an appetizer. The waiter brought over some balsamic vinegar to drizzle on to which added an extra touch to it. It is definitely worth a visit.

Nestled in the charming town of Safety Harbor, Parts of Paris Bistro & Bar is a delightful dining spot that transports you straight to France. Housed in a beautifully restored 1936 cottage, this bistro features elegant white tablecloths and an inviting atmosphere perfect for both dinner and brunch. Guests can indulge in traditional French fare, including artisanal charcuteries and house-made pates crafted right on-site.
Beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food, well made and beautifully presented drinks. If all of that isn't enough, we went on a decently busy night and the bar was full, we only wanted drinks and maybe a sweet treat and didn't want to take up too much space. We decided since the bar was full we might venture elsewhere, we were stopped by the owner before we could leave and he sat us at a romantic table in the front. He brought us water and got someone to take care of us right away. It was very kind and made my fiancé's birthday just a little more special. We had the espresso martini, an old fashioned, and split the creme brulee. I haven't been able to stop raving about how amazing this place was! The owner is so kind and attentive and you could tell he really cared about the restaurant and experiences of his patrons. Can't wait to go back!

Went here for lunch. Do not get the shrimp cannellini. Seriously the dish measured 4"x4" x for $21. It had one piece of shrimp cut into 3 small pieces.

We loved Parts of Paris food previously. Since the menu changed in April the food is just normal. The drinks are still good, but I don’t want to pay $15 a drink when the food and atmosphere are no longer “chic”. I rather them have raised their food prices and kept the atmosphere and the great food. If the new vibe is working for them, go for it. I’m sure there are lots of things to consider. But I prefer the old menu and vibe. Wish you the best.

Oh boy. Where do I begin? This has been my favorite restaurant for years and years, owned by a Belgian chef (who never seems to recognize me, despite endless returns and me always saying hello) specializing in a small French menu that's reasonably priced and the food is has been amazing...until now. Despite not being broken, they decided to "fix it." They recently turned it into a lounge (with a name change??) despite there being another lounge right around the corner (Sips wine lounge), and removed almost every dinner table. They're pushing people to eat at the bar. I don't want to eat at the bar. If I'm spending this much on food I want to speak to my companions, face to face. They remodeled and took all the quirky elements away, from their Eiffel Tower to the art in the bathroom. Their servers used to be dressed nicely and now look like they are on a prison work release system. It's "seat yourself". The revamped the menu and took some notable items off, raised the prices and dropped the food quality. This is my biggest gripe. The main reason I come here is because the overwhelming majority of the food at restaurants is not worth the money because I am a chef and I can do better for far less. But this place has always been reliable and a great place to bring people who visit from out of town, friends, date night... And it stays open and serves food late. I guess that changed. Even the burger went up in price to over $22 and came with almost nothing on it. It's advertised to have bacon jam, pickled onions... All three of us had dry buns and two scant pieces of onion. Quality of meat was decent enough but it was generally flavorless... And I've ordered this plenty of times before, that was never the case. Gone are the decanters of water to refill our own...and not once were we offered a refill. I've gotten everything on the menu from the duck confit to bone marrow to the Burger American.... And I'm extremely disappointed. It seems like they're just pushing alcohol now. Additionally, it feels different and everyone is piled on top of each other. There are only regular three dinner tables left inside unless you want to sit outside which most people do not in Tampa Bay where our ambient temperature is 86-95 F. There are some tiny round tables on the other side if you want to sit on the lounge side where the majority of the tables used to be and hunch over like you're at a laptop to eat your food... But they won't fit more than a plate and a half on there. I've been coming here since the bar was smaller and they keep renovating themselves into a bigger and bigger mistake. This is the type of place people keep coming back to...for the atmosphere, the food, the fact that they are open when other places are not in this particular small town, the option of later nights with food for those of us who are night owls. It's a true local hangout with an eclectic mix of Europeans, Brits, Americans, Canadians, etc, and we proudly bring all our friends and family coming through town. This place has always been busy, seven nights a week, well into late hours. Jovial, really great vibe, friendly...it was "Cheers" meeting the best of European flavor. Now they will stop serving food at 10:00 and there was barely anyone there on a Monday night. I'm very disappointed and very sad. This is one of three reliable restaurants in the area that has always been amazing and counted on for fantastic food, service, strong drinks, and a great atmosphere. It's changed. The name changed, everything changed....and not for the better. They modernized into something bland and typical across the board. Expensive food, average service, pushing liquor, everything looks the same. You can get that anywhere. I hope they go back to where they were and restore their magic. I don't think I will be returning if they remain as is, and that breaks my heart.

We use to love Parts of Paris. Our favorite date night spot where we brought friends and family. Recently they changed the menus, the food is subpar. The drinks are good, but they don’t match the food. I miss the amazing food previously. I’d rather have paid more for food and drinks and kept the old menu and vibe. If it’s working for them, then go for it. If going back makes sense … or selling for someone who can… I’d advocate for it. My parents use to come here all the time 10 years ago too. It makes me sad. Best wishes.
Ashley H — Google review
Parts of Paris has been one of my favorite places to eat for many years. I have had amazing dinning experiences there until last night! WHAT CHANGED, WHAT HAPPENED??? Self seating was fine, but then waited about 15 minutes for a waiter to acknowledge us and take our drink order, then another 15 minutes to get our drink orders of undisclosed wine provided. At least another 20 minutes to get one of the waiters to take our dinner order. We all ordered French onion soup which took at least 30 minutes and soup was cold and had a strange flavor. Not at all what it used to taste like. I also should mention the place was not busy with maybe 4 people at the bar and less than 3/4 of the tables filled on a Saturday night and at least 3 maybe 4 waiters running around looking lost and not sure what to do. About an hour later our food came. We all ordered the sirloin which was good but the pommes frites were cold. No one ever came by to check on us, ask about the food, refill our drink orders or refresh our waters or ask if we might want dessert. To say the least the dinner was an over priced disappointment. The hi-lite was the expresso martinis we had at the bar. They were very good!! But getting second martini took an unnecessary amount of time as all the waiters/bartenders were at the far end of the bar conversing and never came down to check on us. What a shame Parts of Paris used to be such a good restaurant I enjoyed taking friends and out of town visitors to, but no more...I won't be back!! Although I doubt if Parts of Paris will still be in business at the end of the year!

I was shocked to have shown dressed up and the wait staff to be in shorts and any old button shirt for one. I am a foodie and was a sous chef for 10 years, so when I go out to what is supposed to be fancy place with foods you can't just get anywhere I do expect the food to be good. I ordered the fogra, which the sauce was good, but just one side cooked with char on top. The escargot was good. I ordered the lamb medium rare but got medium well. I sent it back and was told by the waiter, here's a perfect medium rare and told I'm sorry that a dessert would be on the house. I had gotten a very rare rack instead. I was done at this point and just ate what I could and didn't take the dessert. I do not recommend this place. Everything has char burnt on it, and it is not cooked properly. Obviously, there is no real chef in the kitchen. The pommes puree is really chunky smashed potatoes with a lot of skins, not pureed.

One of my favorite restaurants in the whole Tampa Bay area! Outstanding service - knowledgeable, courteous, and no rushing you out of the door. Absolutely delicious food! Among my favorites are lamb, beef fillet with peppercorn sauce, grilled octopus, crab dip, and escargot. Very reasonably priced! A bit packed/loud inside but excellent on the patio. Definitely worth the drive; can’t wait to return!

Absolutely the best place to go, to have a special breakfast with family or even just your loved one. I love this place I've been going here for almost 5 years and I always order the blueberry waffles because honestly they are the best. I also order coffee I like all their seasonal coffee that they have and all the members here who work are absolutely nice and the atmosphere is just so wonderful to be there. So if you're looking for a place to have a nice breakfast or just a nice coffee with somebody come on down and enjoy outside and inside. The prices are low too .

Great atmosphere, attentive staff and unique breakfast options! Belgian Waffles are fabulous! We had Tiramisu waffles, Guava Cream waffles and Banana Walnut Waffles... All delicious! Parking lot in back and street parking available. Outside dining as well as indoor dining options. Very cute and cozy inside. Well shaded areas for outdoor seating as well!

My friend and I had a great experience at Cafe Vino Tinto and will definitely be returning. We split the tiramisu waffle and cream cheese with guava waffle. Both of us loved the cream cheese w/ guava waffle! The coffee was delicious. Only downside was the limited number of tables inside. Luckily we were able to snag one because it was way too hot to sit outside.

Great place to grab a drink and a treat! I saw that their menu had a lot of food options, but went with two of their seasonal offerings- an Orange Creamsicle Latte and a Guava Turnover. They came out fast and both were delicious. The interior has a great vibe, and the outdoor seating area was lovely! There was plenty of seating, shade, and a ton of fans to beat the heat. Great option for a quick coffee or a brunch!

It was great. Food tasted great, unique food options, great coffee. All seating is open air mostly covered. Thought it would be hot, but it wasn't. A little pricey but if you're looking for something different, this is the place.

Cafe Vino has a serene garden vibe and comfortable outdoor seating area and indoor option as well. Even on a hot day the shade from the pergola and fans make it pretty comfortable! Great brunch spot for 1 or slide tables together for 5+ 😊 Gluten-free batter can be subbed for most waffles but vegan menu is limited. The GF berry waffles were amazing and I loved my seasonal oat milk 'posies' latte... very floral and highly recommended if you like lavender lattes!

The atmosphere is welcoming and the menu has a variety of options. I loved that the cubes are made of coffee, so you don’t feel like your coffee is being “watered” down. I wasn’t overly impressed by my coffee, but I’d give another one a try! Plus I want to try their food.

The best time on this tour with Ken he was so patient and kind and really walked me through my first kayak tour. He talked about the history of Safety Harbor and pointed out all the wildlife! We rode up the harbor and found a small pod of dolphins who were swimming all around us! They were about four to five feet from our kayaks it was so cool! I will definitely be back!

The Ream Wilson Clearwater Trail, also known as the Clearwater East West Trail, is a long pathway that currently connects four parks and will eventually stretch from Tampa to the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. It is popular for biking and walking, with amenities such as new bathrooms, parking lots, playgrounds, tennis courts, and basketball courts along the way. The trail offers a separated path for various activities like walking, running, and rolling.
When you drive by you see the awesome Zipline playground equipment so we had to try it. What fun. It's a really nice fully fenced park which is nice with little ones. Very clean and nice bathroom. They need to put The canopies back from after the storms. It is very sunny to try to sit in the picnic table area. But it's very nice park. And if you go down in there are basketball courts and more stuff. Will come again.

My husband and I walked from Cliff Stephens Park to Safety Harbor and back. There is a nice amount of shade from the beautiful trees. The elevation changes a long the trail, which we enjoyed. We saw a small alligator in the pond at Safety Harbor.

Great trail. But only bathrooms within 10 plus miles are either in the woods or Del Oro park or last stop in Safety Harbor. Sadly, crummy graffiti exists from losers with nothing better to do.

This is a biking and walking trail. We usually walk from the McMullen Booth Road parking. It has new bathrooms and parking lot. The playground is in the shade of trees and fenced in. There are tennis courts, basketball courts too. We usually walk East to Bayshore Drive but on this visit we walked across the Pedestrian overpass on M Mullen Booth Rd. West. This passes softball /baseball fields then winds down to Kapok Park. Taking the boardwalk we go around a lake where the path comes to a large field. This is a Loop back to the sign for Kapok Park. The Ream Wilson Trail continues west for those wanting a longer walk or usually bike ride.

Nice separated path for walking, running and rolling. As of this review, the bridge over McMullen Booth is undergoing repairs through April 2024. That cuts the trail in half with rough access across McMullen Booth. I stayed on the east side and had a great leisurely ride to Safety Harbor. Lovely parks and scenery with bike pumps, playground, picnic areas and jungle gym equipment along the way. Restrooms and water fountains available in parks along the route. Plenty of dogs spotted.

Mighty nice trail for walking, running and cycling. This trial is about 3.5 miles long and winds through cerebral neighborhoods and parks! There are some delightful little sections of varying shade and terrain. In one section A Great Horned Owl with a chick could be seen at the top of two large Pine trees. A great little escape for an hour or two!

Not only is it a very nice and clean walking trail, it's not too crowded to enjoy e-skate boarding along with other PEVs on the trail. I quite enjoy the elevation changes by the ball park, and where it leads over the highway into a very nice park. Passing the park then heading north will take you to Safety Harbor Pier.

Awesome little park! Great for kids and adults, they have a playground, basket court, picnic pavilion, and this is a great park for walking, running or biking trail goes through nice picturesque park, and cross over BayPoint and you are able to bike over to the Courtney Campbell Causeway or opt for your other option and head into Safety Harbor and further down to Phillippe Park.

As I was enjoying my husband"s baseball game, he was participating on another end of the park. I went exploring other features of this park. This skate park was clean and seemed to have alil something for everyone, regardless of their skill level. The sections are perfect for kids who are just starting out. It has a gentle slope & plenty of space to practice. I love that the park is so family-friendly. There's was a mix of kids & adults enjoying the space together. The park has plenty of benches and picnic tables where parents can relax and watch their kids play. There are always bathrooms & water fountains available. Overall, the Skate Park is a great place to skate for people of all ages and skill levels with local colorful art painted by local ShamC arts project. If you're looking for a fun and safe place to skate, I'd recommend this lil local gem.

Nice skatepark. Well done. Nice lights. Skateboarders know that what they’re doing isn’t considered “safe”, which is why they do it. Our only safety is in danger. We see most of the things you do as “unsafe”, yet we don’t bother you (for example look how unhealthy you are physically mentally emotionally). Treat us w respect. No outdated rules. Open 24 hours/ lights. No bullying or harassment. Or we just go to the streets. You can’t stop us. We are the future now here. What you say to us/ how you treat us, is all very much remembered, as we are the new kings and queens here. We are very creative and intelligent. We like to draw on things. it’s not “graffiti”. it’s art/ personal expression. Don’t censor us/ threaten us. We make our own rules that actually make sense, unlike most of yours. We’re updating the whole earths so called policies btw. This is where you recognize this. So that you may continue to exist here with us.

Not a bad little park, some of the concrete obstacles are built a little poorly and there is NO SHADE unless you walk off the park but the park does have some nice features if youre looking for something different.
Johnson S — Google review
Nice skatepark. No one (even skating adults) are allowed to be inside without a helmet. Park officials came by to inform skaters and request that they leave. Not even "use at your own risk" for adults. FYI.
C T — Google review
The park is just okay. I've been there a few times in the past 6 years and it's already falling apart. Locals often try to fix it up and keep it safe. The city does not seem to have any professionals maintain it. Which can be a safety issue. Even if the park was in perfect shape, it still isn't that great of a layout. Some of the positioning makes no sense. There are fun things to skate here no doubt, but overall not amazing. If you are in the area or nearby, check it out! Otherwise not worth a long drive.

Nice park for skateboarding, kids playground, covered gazebo for family gatherings/cookout. Ball fields for local sporting events. A nice park that has relatively clean bathrooms but have an old musty stinky smell to them.

Marshall Park is a great place to have our service dogs in training practice their skills. Lots of room to spread out, a great play ground and bathrooms available plus areas to walk!

Hidden gem. This playground is tucked away in beautiful Safety Harbor away from traffic and the busyness. It has a nice playground, swings, basketball court, paved walkways, and bathrooms. Their is a some shade and a pavillion with benches. If you want to take a small nature hike you can do that too. We had our homeschool group meet here several times for a swap events, making cards, and building race car tracks too. It's about 5 min from the main street and library. I highly recommend it for children of all ages.

Nice park. Trails are nice, but overgrown. Some are impassable and need maintenance. Even so, it is still very nice.
Lin D — Google review
Beautiful park nestled in Safety Harbor. Also has a walking trail, basketball hoops, tennis courts and wall ball. Hardly ever busy.
Caleb — Google review
Very nice park. It is small but not crowded and relatively close to downtown. For its size, it is a 5. It's mostly for smaller children(3-11). It is well shaded with alot of benches and several picnic areas. Nice convenient rest rooms, used by local delivery people. I only saw a few dog walkers, and they just passed by.

Clean bathrooms, well maintained equipment and beautiful trees. Be sure to check out the Hungarian sausage house next door.

My kids love this playground, I dont understand why it's always so empty... my kids usually have the whole place to themselves when we go
Hope S — Google review
Park is nearly abandoned mostly taken over by bugs. Yes, they do have a toddler area and a big care area. However, the park looks like it needs to get assistance from the city. Do not recommend.
D'Ana M — Google review
So empty! Such a lovely park with no one there. Not sure if it's actually a dog park, but I took my dog. There was no sign that said no dogs allowed, so....
Denise W — Google review
I like the trees and the shade within this Sylvan compound. The playground is good and has a nice gazebo pretty close to it to watch the kids from as well as a decent basketball court. Yeah I think there could be more parking available but maybe not enough from around the compound.
ReyQB — Google review
Cons: Backs up to the hood (didn't realize safety harbor had one). Blunt wrappers everywhere on the playground. Kids smoking weed in the bathroom. Pros: Playground equipment is nice and well kept, lot of variety of equipment, close restroom, and pavilion.
William — Google review
The playground is nice but there were homeless people sitting around on the play structure and a few people under the influence passing through. I was uncomfortable there with my little kids unfortunately.
Elyse S — Google review
