I am a big brisket fan, but sadly, this brisket was incredibly dry. I did get the food to go, but I was five minutes from the restaurant and the brisket would have been dry even if I ate it at the restaurant. The pasta was good. The service was good. But sadly, I would not order the brisket app again. I’m also a Texas bbq fan after living there so my feelings may be different than someone who hasn’t had tx brisket.

Brought me the wrong drink twice. Ordered apple margarita. First the server brought a pumpkin margarita. Then she brought an apple martini. Then the apple margarita. The burger was fine. Then I ordered dessert. She asked if I wanted ice cream on the side and I said I did not want ice cream but sure enough it was brought out. Also between each step and then waiting for the check there was a significant amount of time. Not sure I go back here.

My first time to eat here, tried their entry for the First Annual Downtown Burger Slam and it was great. The waffle buns was a unique take on burger together with the over easy eggs and hollandaise sauce. Though the patties were a bit overcooked and the bacon not crispy overall the burger as a whole was a treat to my taste buds. I would definitely recommend it and go back for it.

Ordered takeout the salmon salad and the gnocchi and wow. 0/10. The gnocchi had so much sauce you’d think I ordered tomato soup. Idk how it’s possible to make a salad taste bad but it tasted bad. I haven’t been to peacock in years cuz last time I was like ok this food doesn’t even compete with the McDonald’s across the street. Well hate to say it, nothing has changed. I value tasty food made with love. Zero taste and zero love

I was not impressed by my experience here. Our waitress was not very friendly and made us feel rushed despite it not being very busy. The food was pretty bad for the prices. I got a salad with salmon which was not good. There was very little salmon, and what there was, was not very high quality. Probably the worst I’ve had. We also got a sirloin steak, which was a little too salty. While the food was edible, that shouldn’t be the goal.

Ok. They serve sweet potato waffle fries with marshmallow dip. Marshmallow Dip. Other than the marshmallow dip this place seems like a restaurant adults hang out. Adults with jobs that like to talk about work after the business days ends. They seemed a little short staffed but the server that eventually helped us was lovely. The French Dip...was OK. Served a little cold (short staffed) and on a hot dog bun. The rice peanut bowl was pretty good, definitely hit the spot. The building itself is unique, they don't build them like this anymore. It's worth the price of a drink to just sit in there and look around for a bit.

So many good beers. We had to get 2+ taster flights to try the ones we wanted. BBQ brisket and turkey was soo good. Eclectic artwork. Axe throwing (outside patio) and still manages to be kid friendly.

Great beer and food! Smoked turkey is a must! Brisket was a little dry and the ribs didn't come off the bone as easy as we thought. We ordered the pick 3 meats and there were 3 adults we ate it all, portions were smaller than expected. Also ordered 10 wings which were phenomenal!!

Genuinely blown away by this place. There we so many delicious beers, the space has great ambience and the staff were incredibly friendly! The BBQ blew me out of the water- the brisket is some of the best I have ever had in my life. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in Bismarck!

Laughing Sun — I guess the joke’s on me. Went to celebrate Father’s Day 2025 at Laughing Sun for some BBQ and a beer. I’ve been looking for good BBQ in Bismarck, and Laughing Sun has been recommended to me quite a bit. The place itself is really cool — I love the big, open blues venue atmosphere. Axe throwing is a fun touch, and I appreciate that it’s sectioned off so it doesn’t distract if you’re not into it. The line to order moved quickly, and ordering was smooth with friendly service. I got the 3-meat BBQ plate with brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. For sides, I chose mac and cheese, beans, and kettle chips. My wife ordered a half order of the BBQ nachos and a root beer. I had the Space Probe Blue, a sour — which I really enjoyed. The ribs were great: served slightly above room temp, tender, and well-seasoned. I’m not a fan of competition-style ribs where you’re expected to leave a bite mark, and thankfully these were more tender than that. Not quite “fall-off-the-bone,” but a really nice middle ground. The pulled pork was solid — moist, well-seasoned, and with noticeable smoke flavor. The brisket looked promising with a nice bark and smoke ring. But that’s where the positives ended. It was the driest brisket I’ve ever had — barely edible. Truly terrible. It looked old, and I’d be shocked if it hadn’t been sliced the day before. I was genuinely disappointed. Brisket and burnt ends are my jam, and I just couldn’t vibe with it. The “award-winning” mac and cheese was served at room temp and was mid at best. The beans were also served room temp and are supposed to include brisket — fortunately, mine did not. I’d give the beans a 5/10. The kettle chips, though, were excellent — crispy, well-seasoned, and easily the best side of the bunch. The BBQ nachos didn’t go over well with my wife. Her main issues: the pulled pork was wet and spongy, the pico de gallo was overly watery and made everything soggy, and the use of melted cheese instead of nacho cheese didn’t work. In summary: If you’re after a great local beer and a fun atmosphere, this could be your spot. But if you’re looking for killer BBQ executed with care, maybe do what I’m going to do — and keep looking.

Love the food here! The smoked turkey is my favorite, the dijon aioli on it, yum! The brisket is fantastic! The sauce is just the right tang and spice. The Mac & cheese is dreamy creamy! I can’t believe I have not done a review sooner because we have been here many times. They did a fantastic job in catering our daughter’s wedding in 2022. The beer is tasty I heard from my kids, I don’t drink beer. Our grandson was a super fan of the brownie dessert, it is huge. We love coming for the entertainment. Axe throwing looks fun but everyone would run if I attempted it.

This place is incredible, great customer service, great atmosphere, great beer, and even better food. They were serving samples at our convention, liked the beer so we decided to check it out,glad we did. I had the pretzel with beer cheese for starter, homemade pretzel with really good cheese. Had Burnt Ends and Mac and Cheese for main, both were delicious. Coworkers had brisket, which was tender and juicy. Had the Feast Like a Sultan IPA, one of the best I have had. Highly recommend, should be the number one restaurant on any list. Update: in town for convention, had to go back. This visit was just as good as the last! Brisket was outstanding, Mac and Cheese was bomb, beans and Brisket was ridiculously delicious. Sultan IPA from Laughing Sun is awesome. Highly recommend!

Group of 7 had dinner here last night from Fargo. Am reviewing what I had. Pulled pork with cornbread and side of baked beans. I expected the Cornbread to be made in a sheet pan not a little muffin. Beans looked like they had been dished up awhile with a cube size piece of brisket, lukewarm at best, Bush beans have more flavor. Pulled pork portion was good but again only lukewarm and cold when I finished. Korean BBQ sauce was good but could have been given more. You sometimes only have one chance at a place and you should make ever meal like it's for you boss. Am generous in giving 3 stars

It's been years since I've been to this mall as I moved out of the area. It's a very nice mall and great atmosphere. A nice variety of stores, too! I was there on a Sunday so it was really the only thing open in Bismarck.

LOVE LOVE LOVE The TILTZ Experience, I Highly Recommend this place if your looking for nostalgia games (but It IS pretty spendy) So Glad that I was able to Spend Time w/My Two (Adult) Kid's along w/their significant others on Easter After Church & Lunch. Definitely Worth EVERY Penny.

Lots of friendly staff and indoor shopping. Anchored by 3 large stores. Target, Scheels and JCPenney. You can find lots of things you want here. Several restaurants around the outside area of the mall but still in same parking lot. Panera bread place is excellent there!

I'm from California. We needed to go to T-Mobile and Target. Some locals told us to go to the mall we'd find it in one place. My first impression of this mall was how clean and well organized it is. Let's go to a lot of great stores sporting goods clothing and even a Barnes & Noble bookstore. Target JCPenney are here. It's good.

Overall a pretty nice mall for the small town we're in! Could use some fresh stores and expansion but otherwise a nice place!

This is an ok mall. If you want to call it that, there is not alot of store choices here. Now there is several in the area. However, you do get the small town feel, which I think is great. I hate to see these dieing off.

Five guys is one of my favorite burgers. They taste like old-fashioned burgers off the grill at a family get-together. The fries are the best. You can get anything and everything on your burger. People working here are generally friendly. Unfortunately, it costs the same as going to get a steak dinner not far away. 2 people, no fries, 2 burgers and one drink over $30. It's hard to justify. This is the third time we have come to this restaurant where multiple flavors are out in the sofa machines.

Nice to see a strip mall with some big box stores surviving. Lots of options great places to shop.

I got exactly what I wanted and they did everything they could to get me the best price. When they say they have it in stock they mean drive for 10 minutes and pick it up instantly. This is the second mattress we have purchased here and the process is smooth, the staff helpful, and the results lasting!

What a well organized event.

I’m getting sick of how employees treat some customers. I was walking out and I had some items that were not bagged. I know the person at the door usually needs to look at the receipt to make sure it was paid for. Fine. No problem. I understand. Then, a man came walking by and he had items in his cart that were not bagged. When I said something to the person working the door, she just started mumbling something about being in a bag. I told her that he had loose paper towels in his cart just like I did. Here’s what I say:”Check us all or don’t check any of us. Skin color does not determine whether we paid for something or not! This unfair treatment has to end.” Mabe Target is a better choice for people who are discriminated against at Walmart.

Stopped Sunday evening( 10/5 ). We had a very helpful attendant while checking out Joshua went above and beyond and gave us a lesson on how to look items up in self the checkout register. He was very pleasant and attentive. Nice to see young people excel in customer service!

Got some fruit items just last night and went to go eat the nectarines I had purchase I had got three and all three of them were bad i would understand one of them but all three was just disappointed usually when I go shopping i noticed the fruit is not good mold on them or rotting just disgusting

I had to update my eye prescription and glasses, due to a few scratches on lenses. After I purchased a spare set of cheapos, I left a 3 year old set of frames, and paid for a new set of lenses. They did an outstanding job, good as new. The frames were pretty pricey at about $165, so it was worth a shot at an overhaul. Thanks guys

This one had to be said....I work with Walmart plus and Bismarck ND Walmart.....many times they have car trouble and can't deliver my food....I can't get around easy and I rely on Walmart plus and this Walmart supercenter to be diligent on time courteous and honest. I called up recently and got a hold of pick up and delivery and he changed my delivery time to a earlier one cause I have been waiting all day for my food. When it didn't arrive I called back to have them check on it the woman there said she doesn't work in front of a computer. Ha transfer me to her manager who didn't answer....when I called back I asked her name I said I want to report her and this issue and she said I was acting silly and transfer me back to her manager.....I will be reporting her....then I called up the customer service and wanted to talk to the GM I was then again put on hold for a long time to no avail. The order eventually came but when I asked Walmart plus for a refund I was kindly given one but it's been 11 days and they keep telling me to call back and explain myself as to what happened. Now I have a TBI with a bad memory and little patience. But the headache that came with this one orderer wasn't the first just the last. I will not use nor pay monthly for delivery from this Walmart or Walmart plus ever again...I encourage people to use insta cart or a friend or case manager for pick up. Walmart has good prices but horrible service and customer service. BOYCOTT WALMART PLUS USE OTHER MEANS ITS NOT WORTH THE ENERGY.

Very rude when you call them. Tried to ask if they had a certain item before I waste my time going there to pick it up. They hung up on me before I could finish the question.

Worker attempted to sign me up for their credit card without saying a word to me. Today I went in to buy some dress shoes and a belt. I went to go checkout and the conversation when like this: Me: "Hi, just these" Them: *clicks on prompt on their screen, then spins the card reader around and clicks "Yes" on there* Them: "Enter your email" Me: "No, I do not want to sign up for any rewards" So the employees here are clearly compensated for people being signed up for their rewards program and/or their credit card because after saying no, the worker proceeded to angrily pack together the belt and shoes that I bought, scuffing them in the process. So, if I had not spoken up, I would've been signed up for a card for a store that I don't even go to more than once or twice a year. I understand asking your customer if they want to sign up but maliciously clicking through the menu without even talking to the customer is INSANELY sketchy. Oh and on top of it all, she didn't give me my receipt so I have no way of reporting this feedback other than bringing it out into the public reviews.

I stopped by to quick look for a couple things. I ended up purchasing a little more than I had expected and when I checked out Karen noticed that I had some Kohls rewards that I didn't know I had and they were about to expire. Thanks to Karen for paying attention and helping me save some money.

When checking out Genie was very pushy for me to sign up for a card. I kept telling her no until i got tired and just let her try. Then she didn't take my security tags off my clothes. Then a wonderful lady came over to help Rose! She was amazing and very kind and respectful. She explained everything and helped me get out of the store after already being at the register for a good 20min. Rose kept apologizing for the way Genie treated me. I really hope Rose gets recognized for all her hard work and dedication to her customers! Thank you again Rose!

I ordered a shower curtain and rug on line. The curtain came with blue ink marks on it. The rug was yellow in color not cream. I returned them. The gal at returns couldn't find my order by the numbers on the items. She couldn't even find my credit card. I had to look everything up through the website as I didn't have any emails about my order. On top of the return hassle, I lost my Kohls cash that I'd earned and used on the order. Done with Kohls!

The checkout line was wrapped around the entire checkout area and one cashier leaves, leaving two of the slowest cashiers there. One cashier Christa decided it was better to put EXTRA staples in her stapler than help the 20+ people standing in line. Stood in line longer than I was in the store.

This is the only place where I could find maternity clothing for plus size mothers. I hope they continue to carry the larger sizes and add more variety!

Had a good shopping trip here. All I have to say is wow to there customer service. This is why a brick and mortar store is so much better than an online store. You actually get to speak to a real person, without having to go through 100 prompts first. Great job JCPENNEY.

Went in to buy two sets of earrings that said was in stock online. Probably 30-45 minutes associate spent trying to find them until I called a manager over to help match up the SKU and find them. Then the associate was very aggressive with trying to get me to get a JCPenney card, and very persistent that I put a protection plan on them even though I told her multiple times I did not want to. All together it took about an hour to purchase two sets of earrings, which are great quality and price.

Overpriced for the quality unless you come by around the holidays for their deals.

Just checked out in Bismarck counter and found the checkout person rude, unfriendly and felt like we were bothering her. She came from the cosmetics department.

I encountered 2 "employees" named Tiffany and Ashley. Most unprofessional retail workers I’ve ever seen. Completely ignored me for the hour I was in the store while they talked to each other and picked on their other coworkers. I guess they’d rather talk to each other than make money for the business. Should be fired. I will not be coming back here.

Slim picking here. However, at the last minute I was able to find a quick replacement crop pants. Selection is "very limited" if you need dress up clothes. I appreciated the clerk giving me a extra discount on a quick coupon she had. Thank You

Came a month ago for Christmas shopping and got myself a shirt also. They put the shirt in a separate bag and not with the rest when I went to grab it. That's not the problem. I live out of town and called immediately after getting home to ask if they have seen it. They did. I asked if they could set it aside that I didn't have the receipt with all of the chaos for the holidays. He said yes, I had given my name and was told to just describe the shirt when I came in. A few weeks pass and I'm in town, so I stop by. I ask about the shirt and describe it and she asked for the receipt which I don't have so I repeat what I'm told. Her response is anything left on the shelf they put back out. Even though I called and verified my shirt was left and was told it could be set aside. I had given my name and everything. Only to be told I don't get the shirt. It's a simple 5 dollar shirt. I don't even want the money back. It's the carelessness of the employees. Lack of conversation. I paid for that shirt and called right away. A note should have been left or something. But nothing instead it was put back on the shelf to make a double profit on it. Horrible service.

Shout out to whomever was working on the floor on 4/1/25. The store was the most organized that I've ever seen it. It made shopping there a much more enjoyable experience when everything was so neat and clean on the shelves.

With this being the only Ross in this region there's not many things left over at the timing of me going there and seems like everything got expensive in there.. I'm giving a 3 star for that reason!! but otherwise it's still a good place to get most of your need if you can find them lol

i went to ross the other day and had the worst experience of my life!!! i asked a worker to unlock the bathroom and i went to use the bathroom and had explosive diarrhea and there was no toilet paper or paper towels in the women’s bathroom. (super unclean bathroom) do better bismarck ross and Stock your bathrooms better, in conclusion i had to go into the men’s

It seems that I always walk out of Big Lots with a bit more than what I planned. But, in a good way. Our local store is always well kept, and the employees are very friendly.

Shopping at Big Lots is better than watching TV. The staff generally doesn't know where anything is， but everything is so affordable it's alright. The clientele is a gang of rascals， me included I suppose. One time I was in there this lady cut everyone off in checkout because she had a cab running outside. So nothing is terrible. It's just like an extended twilight zone episode with great deals. A cashier recently tried to get me to go get another item because she over rang it and she was too lazy to void it. Classic. But I'm not trying to deter anyone. I shop there all the time and will continue to do so

Went there on 12-24-20 around noon. I purchased a 65 in black entertainment stand for my TV. Price wasn't bad at all-which was $169 (not including tax). The man that rung me up was very helpful and he told me about the rewards club there in which I signed up for. And the young gentleman that helped me load my box up onto the truck was a good spirited young man. He was respectful and funny. Thanks guys!

Although the hourly pay rate sucks but if your looking for a quick job I do suggest doing an online app here. They are getting better with opening up there goods options n selections.

Walked in and asked if they had masks for the public and the older lady said yes over there so we grabbed a pack and all 5 of us put them on and put the pack in our cart. The lady followed us down each isle of the store until my 9 yr old said why is that old lady following us . I said I'm not sure and we got too the checkout and I asked if the young native worker if they have masks for the public and he said sure we have them right here, i told him what the old lady said and how she followed us around the store and he was so apologetic that i will go try their store again

Lots of fun stuff here! I actually bought a couch with my mother from here a few years back, we still have it, and it's amazing. Highly recommend if you have the time to walk the whole store!

So last night I forgot a bag at the store, I had intended to get there this morning but didn't until this afternoon. The cashier was so helpful on the phone last night that it wasn't difficult to get my purchase today. Good job Big Lots.

Lady was very rude for no reason. I guess the dressing rooms were closed around 840. Even though the store is open till 930. Lady was being very rude to my boyfriend who was waiting for me outside of the dressing room, when I got out of the dressing room the lady snarled at me then tried saying I could be stealing. At that point I take that as an accusation and that’s not something you should do to a recurring paying customer. The dressing rooms shouldn’t be closed before the store is closed either. I’ve worked in clothing stores and that is completely unacceptable.

i asked for help on a few items and the employees told me several times "somewhere over there" the lady who checked me out was pretty rude and customer service was extremely low-i found a pallet on clearance without a sticker and asked at checkout what the price was " she radios to do price check and made it sound like i took it out out on purpose to get a better deal then doesn't tell me the price , i spent 180$ there and left that store feeling pretty gross and not welcomed at all. i will say this is the 3rd time i've been there and i usually shop later in the day-the younger staff are much more helpful than what i just experienced.

This TJ Maxx was great, they had more clearance items than I have ever seen at their stores before. They have really great products, some seconds at great quality prices.

Stopped in today, found a black cardigan sweater I really liked! Also picked up a Michael Kors winter jacket. Love shopping this time of year. Highly recommend this store..

Wild how if you have more than 15 items you're forced to stand in a checkout line for 45 mins because they don't want to open more than 2 lanes. But the self checkout is completely open, it's just assumed that every customer is a thief so you mustn't be allowed to enter the self checkout area.

Courtney working at the self checkout at 7pm 7/19/25 genuinely ruined my night. I am a very nice young women, and I understand working customer service. I understand long days. But to have a job that pays you to help people and help with customers (even though all you have to do is stand there at self checkout)- to act like you hate customers and hate people in general is so so sad. Please do not work in customer service if you are going to ruin peoples nights for no reason. I had to ask her to uncase an electronic, and she ripped it out of my hand without saying a single word. I proceeded to watch her which I apologize if that made her uncomfortable (I genuinely was not thinking as I have had a long day too) and she didn’t even look up and she said “feel free to check out”… like feel free to be nicer???? It’s not my fault you have to do your JOB you are PAID for. After she helped me I said AND I QUOTE “thanks, have a good night” and she did not say a single word. I hope a manager can discuss this with her. Even small bits of rudeness really affect people and I hope she never treats any other HUMANS like that again.

This store is just great for a little bit of everything now. They even have a small food section to help you out along the way. With really good service and good prices, watch out Walmart. Target is coming for you.

Did a target pickup specifically for an air mattress. They said it was out of stock and cancelled my order. So I checked the website and it said they were still in stock. Shocker I went inside and they were still in stock. $5 less than online too

This Target was okay, nothing stood out as exceptional and nothing negative. I was able to find some sweet star wars shirts there.

Here is where I buy my produce. So sad to know you use Apeel by Bill Gates even though Apeel has toxic ingredients.

It's like Walmart but better and it's in the mall so you can walk right out of Target right into other shopping stores. Inside Target is also Starbucks!
