Luna Park in Argeles-sur-Mer is the largest amusement center in the area, offering a carnival atmosphere with over 40 attractions to choose from. Open from 8:30 pm, it's a great evening destination for families, featuring dizzying rides, game stands, and a ferris wheel that provides a spectacular view of the port. The park is filled with tantalizing smells and offers opportunities to win fluffy souvenirs from various games.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the funfair. The children were delighted, and we indulged in all of our favorite snacks, including churros, crepes, and candy floss.
Dee D — Google review
Busy lunapark, rides for every age available. Prices of the rides about €4,- per person, but ride times are good.
Thijs R — Google review
Great rides for all ages. Good value for money, 4 euro/5 euro a ride or 3 for €10. Highly recommend. We had. Family of 5 kids and would probably needed another night to go around everything.
Demi F — Google review
Extremely busy. Was offer day every ride €2 which was great. Queues not to bad not alot of wait time. Big rides not for kids and stuff for little ones too.
Hayley F — Google review
We enjoyed a couple of hours here on a Tuesday evening. We arrived for 8pm and parked with no problems. My children were on the smaller attractions, bungee trampolines, hook a duck, water zorbs etc and they really enjoyed it. We enjoyed watching the big rides too! There's definitely something for all of the family but most rides are 5€ or more each so can become expensive.
Ruth C — Google review
Terrible place with no atmosphere, little to do and staff who were as attentive as a doormat. Would never entertain going back. Use the enchanted garden 100m away. Children had a great time there
Çhristopher S — Google review
Very enjoyable amusements and very reasonably priced. Rides a bit scary but worth a go.
William W — Google review
Fun for kids, so pretty at night. Expensive though for families as you can not buy a wrist band that let's you on everything. The guys on the waterlog slide were also extremely cheeky to our family and don't be conned into paying 20euro to place the discs on the circle, these guys have been doing it for years and make it look easy but it's not possible for somone to do it in 2 goes!

Château de Valmy is an elegant Victorian chateau offering modern, stylish rooms with sea views. The on-site restaurant is located in a wine-tasting caveau just a short walk from the chateau. Guests can enjoy the superb pool area and explore the nearby township of Argeles-sur-Mer, which offers various cultural, recreational, and sports activities.
I didn't go but got a stunning wine for my birthday highly recommended

Arrived at 15.30 on a Saturday looking forward to a lovely glass of wine, was rudely turned away at the door by a waiter who wouldn't take his eyes off our clearly not appropriate walking shoes. Go somewhere else if you actually want to get a drink and no attitude.

Such a peaceful retreat A joyous place to just be C Lose to the hustle of the beach or nature to explore the local hiking -what ever you want Best pool experience ever (and that is a lot of pools visited) Thankful for Martin and husband for caring enough to bring this spot back to life for themselves and for us
Lucia T — Google review
Just near the sea and really pretty in spring. We loved it and my kids (and and 2.5 years old) too. The playground is good (no swing 😭) and you can walk up to look at the sea and the Canigou mountains. Amazing views
Sam C — Google review
Amazing views, nice rooms. We came for a weeding, and everything was wonderful. Really recommend this place
Felipe M — Google review
The food is excellent and the setting is amazing. Not cheap of course but not unreasonable for what you get. The wines in particular are very reasonably priced, frankly it's a great spot to get a drink, the view is amazing and a good glass of wine is only a few euros (I think it's starts at €3), and it's great testing wine. Don't forget to visit the wine shop, and also the park by the castle above, it's really nice...

Beautiful environment, food and wine. Shame the smokers are right next to the non smokers and spoil it for them. Service was good but not the friendliest. Overall great food and wine but disappointing for the non smokers.

Stunning grounds and communal rooms, magnificent pools and lovely breakfast. Staff great. Stayed in 'cheapest' room at 220e a night. Tv didn't work although obliging staff did try to fix it. Toilet and shower on a raised platform with transparent glass wall yuk...and next to lift shaft.

Escape to the ecologically rich and diverse Réserve naturelle du Mas Larrieu, influenced by both the Tech River and the sea. The reserve is home to various tree species, plants, and insects, including dazzling dragonflies. The wild Bocal du Tech beach stretches for about 700 meters with fine sand where both clothed sunbathers and naturists can be found.
I just love to walk my dogs there
Peter C — Google review
Nature beach, really nature, so without commercial activites, any kiosks and naturally you can be here without clothes. Not recommended for children and non-swimmers, there are waves over 2m and pebbly seabed.
Petrsv — Google review
Beautiful but rocky beach. Will bring shoes next time. The drive here from the main road was on a very rocky, hilly, bumpy dirt road. Took about 5 mins to go 1 kilometer very slowly. I would have felt more comfortable in a 4x4. My dashboard tire warning light was activated by this bumpy road… We arrived late afternoon 1800 ish. It was not crowded. Found a smattering of families, a few people and 3 dogs. Dogs are allowed but only on leash say signs. Someone wrote on the signs in black marker that the fine for unleashed dogs is 145 euro. Not sure if this is true. People I spoke to on the beach said the dog rule is not enforced as no authority is watching.
Rosa M — Google review
(Translated by Google) A very nice beach for dogs! You can let them off leash. There are quite a few dog owners, which gives them the chance to play with each other! However, the road to get there is difficult to drive on, there are lots of bumps and holes... it's a bit long to get to the parking lot. **A rather important detail that hasn't been mentioned: this is a naturist beach** We were presented with a fait accompli once we reached the beach.

(Translated by Google) As said in a comment, I do not recommend this reserve at all. Difficult Waste. The path that some dare to walk with their car at the risk of damaging the underside of the vehicle is similar to a cross-country course. The start seems playable but it is even worse further on. You have been warned. On mountain bikes, the guys have a blast on the bumps. Arriving on site with a lot of hassle (different routes that never end or along the coast but we do not arrive at the same place). In short, a hassle. It is easy to get lost. The place is meh. Waste, naturism, toilet paper in the corners... A total regret from start to finish. Avoid this unnecessary detour. Done with a dog. No interest.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful, unspoiled natural setting, and dogs are allowed on the beach! The beach is made of fine sand and gravel. The sea gets deep quickly, but the location is very pleasant. Access by car is possible, but the path is a bit steep and bumpy. Walk there from the campsite if your car is low; the walk will be even more enjoyable. (Original) Très bel endroit naturel encore préservé et la plage est autorisée aux chiens ! Turtle Valley is a captivating zoo that houses an impressive collection of over 500 turtles and tortoises from five continents, along with various reptiles and small mammals. The park offers an array of activities and attractions for visitors of all ages, including Valmy Park, Luna Park, Banyuls Aquarium, and the Butterfly Tropic.
It's a cute park with lots of turtles and tortoises and other animals. Most of the information about animals was also translated into English, but not always. Would have been helpful if the signs on the doors and fences regulating the rules would also been translated. Still, it's worth the visit, especially with little ones because there were lot of playground areas.
Eveli N — Google review
Very nice park with lots of turtles along with many other animals. Food is good and the caretakers are absolutely great. Our 7 years old had lots of fun and we spent about 6 hours there.

Great selection of turtles of all sizes nicely spread out. Free trampoline play area and forest play area next to the mini farm. Definitely could be a full day out for a family with a picnic or a good 2 hour visit. Free parking, dogs allowed on leads. Pram friendly. Only one cafe so queues for food but great menu and fresh food.

Canyoning Park is an exhilarating aquatic complex featuring purpose-built rock formations for a variety of heart-pumping activities in a safe and guided environment. The park boasts 14 pools connected by jumps ranging from three to seven meters, thrilling water slides, rappelling under 12 to 15-meter waterfalls, rapid tobogganing, cannon-balling from a height of nine meters, and ziplining over a 100-meter stretch into the final pool.
Canyoning Park in Argelès-sur-Mer was an absolutely amazing experience – unlike anything we've ever done before! It was a completely new and unique adventure full of adrenaline, fun, and unforgettable moments. From jumps and slides to climbing and swimming, every part of the course was exciting and perfectly designed. What made it even better was the incredible team of professionals – they were highly skilled, super friendly, and made us feel safe and confident the entire time. Our family, including our two kids (ages 10 and 13), had an absolute blast! It’s an experience we’ll all remember, and we can’t stop talking about it. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, thrilling activity for all ages. Whether you're a beginner or an adventure lover, you’ll love it. Huge thanks to the team – we’ll definitely be back!
Tatiana M — Google review
The adults and bigger kids loved it. Our 12 year old girls were a bit too scared for most of the jumps and slides. Great place though very different and exhilarating.
Mark B — Google review
The whole family had a lot of fun here, and everyone had to overcome their fears, which was made easier thanks to the crew who accompanied us. Thank you for this experience!
Serge M — Google review
Went today as a group of 5, with ages ranging from 14 to 66. We had the best fun, a great English speaking instructor (Jean-Pierre) took us under his wing and was able to give great instructions and advice which really helped! A few obstacles proved too much for the youngest and they were very encouraging and supportive, and ultimately there was no pressure put on him and "escape routes" offered. Definitely pushed us outside our comfort zones, but everything was achievable! Would highly recommend and would definitely go again!
Louise M — Google review
We had a brilliant experience at the Canyoning Park. We had never done anything like this before at all and it was a real one off. Lots of fun and adrenaline. Be aware you need to speak at least basic French - most of the staff did not speak English. It was fine for our group as one of us does. Staff were friendly and explained everything very well.
Liz S — Google review
Absolutely 'must go' place. It was fun. Instructors were friendly, speaking English as our french was poor:) No pressure, all tasks to be done in your pace. Place worth to visit. Many thanks for lovely time.
Peter L — Google review
A lot of fun but surprisingly challenging. A 7m jump and a 14m abseil through a waterfall are just two of the attractions. Great staff who were very helpful, able to talk in English when our French failed us. Good value for money, too. Book in advance.

Nature & Parks
Parc municipal de Valmy et circuit botanique is a 19th-century botanical sanctuary surrounding the Chateau Valmy, offering a magnificent view of the Mediterranean coast, the Alberes Mountains, and Rousillon town. The park features native plant species, sculptures, fountains, and shaded seating areas for picnics. It also includes walking paths with informative signposts and an outside play park for children.
This is a beautiful park to visit. Lots of native species of plants and trees. Several sculptures and fountains around the first level of the park. The first level would be fairly accessible for most people however a large additional part is set out on a hillside so there is a bit of walking on sloping paths, some of which has loose stones so care is needed for those less able or with reduced mobility. There are numerous stops with interesting things to see and seating if you need a breather or simply wish to pause and appreciate the marvellous view down over the coast. Some of the stops have a "table d'orientation" so that you are given the information with which to better inform you about the view. If you are lucky some of the local wildlife will make their presence known! There is a large pond where there are often lots of frogs croaking or jumping into the water. There are of course lots of birds. We were lucky enough to see a stork parading around in the main first level area beside the bandstand and fountain. They nest nearby and are often perched in the trees too. There is also a local partridge which is often wandering around, we have seen it several times on visits at several month intervals. This is a beautiful place to picnic and walk around. Several exhibits orientated towards children and lots of space for them to run around. Also has a small café area with a shaded terrace which overlooks the park. Can't comment on the food or opening hours as we didn't go in.

Experience the thrill of gravity-defying jumps and slides at the Drop-in Argelès Water Jump Park, located just a short distance from the beach. This exhilarating park offers gigantic ramps for launching into refreshing waters, providing an adrenaline-pumping adventure. With tracks reaching up to 16 meters high, it's one of the largest in Europe. While it's a somewhat risky activity, clear instructions are provided by friendly staff.
This place is BRILLIANT. Friendly, clean, beautifully run - it’s a blast for kids as well as adult thrill-seekers. Special shout out to the fantastic staff who were so welcoming, patient and helpful with our autistic 7yr old. Once he was over his nerves he was unstoppable. He tried the bodyboards, donut slides and flip slides and loved them all. There’s a terrace with music and loungers to watch the slides from, a snack and ice-cream kiosk. We speak French but the Drop-In team all speak great English. A gem of a place. We’ll be back!
H. E — Google review
Had a very good time, similar experiences to some other people, staff were lovely at reception but there was some gruffness at the activities, it was hot so it's understandable. Definitely a somewhat dangerous activity, not to the fault of the park, they gave clear instructions, but scrapes and bumps are definitely possible here even if you follow all instructions. Recommended for families, just make sure you aren't extremely attached to the top you wear.
Ronan M — Google review
A great 2 hours of fun! Extremely helpful staff, very pleasant and polite. Plenty of staff around for guidance and assistance with the activities making you feel safe but more importantly that you feel your kids are always safe. Breathtaking jumps into lovely warm water, what else could you ask for! But do watch out for the bumps and bruises, this activity really puts your body to the test, not for the feint hearted.
Kevin P — Google review
Amazing, the highlight of the holiday. The staff were lovely, thank you very much.
Bec — Google review
Brilliant. Totally recommend this place for 9+ year olds it’s brilliant but there are a few flaws such as the second level jump is very painful when you land, the water is not deep enough when you land feet first and when you go on the body board on the second level you go onto the side of the pool. Apart from all that it’s brilliant.
English E — Google review
Great couple of hours fun and well worth the money. Good for all the family, I went with my 8 year old son, who couldn’t go on the biggest jumps but the jumps he could go on were enough to entertain him and he absolutely loved it. The safety briefing only lasts five minutes so there’s no need to get there early and your two hours starts after the briefing. The pool is really clean and there’s the option of life jackets for kids. Some of the jumps can be painful if you land awkwardly but you can can choose how far you want to push yourself. Two hours was about right to get the heart pumping whilst giving plenty of opportunity to try more. I will go again.
Paul S — Google review
Fantastic! Start on the little rides and build up. No under 14s on the big nutter slides. Get a family pass for 2 adults and 2 kids which is for 2 hours for the same price as 4 people for one hour.

Église Notre-Dame del Prat in Argelès-sur-Mer is a stunning example of Southern Gothic architecture, rebuilt in the 14th century. The church is known for its imposing and partially fortified structure, particularly its 34-meter high bell tower, which has served as a watchtower, belfry, and dungeon. The interior houses exceptional pieces including a beautifully carved pulpit and nine masterpieces of Roussillon Renaissance painting.
Such a beautiful Church. So ornate. A feast for the soul. I’m not sure about mass times there as I cannot figure it out. Even the walk through the streets is a treat. The cheese vendor outside sells great produce.

ARGELES AVENTURE in Argeles-sur-Mer offers a variety of activities for the whole family, such as beach club activities, paddle boarding, underwater cruises, mini-golf, and mini-karting. For thrill-seekers, there's the extreme tower, tree climbing courses at Argeles Aventure, canyoning park, and the Drop In Water Jump water park. The tree climbing courses have different difficulty levels suitable for all ages.
Great adventure park. We did spend all day with a 2yo and a 7yo. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

A Climbing Adventure for All Ages What an adventure we had at Argelès Aventure! This large outdoor climbing park offers fun for both kids and adults. It's located within walking distance of other exciting attractions like a unique bouldering area and a giant waterslide (for which combination tickets are available). The bouldering zone, in particular, looked truly special — I’ve never seen anything like it before. Unfortunately, our kids (aged 5 and 10) were too young for that part, so we focused on the main climbing park. We chose the family package for €90. At first, this seemed a bit expensive, but it turned out to be well worth the price. The park is divided into six colour-coded zones, each representing a different level of difficulty. Every colour includes around four separate routes. After a short briefing (which was clear and questions were answered well), we started climbing. One suggestion I would give is to make the explanation a little easier to follow for non-French-speaking families — the instructions went quite fast. Compared to other parks we’ve visited, the staff at Argelès Aventure stood out in a very positive way. There were more than enough instructors present throughout the park. They kept a close eye on everything, and when someone needed help or got stuck, they were quick to respond and assist. This gave us extra peace of mind as parents. Our children completed the purple and green levels. The purple zone was a great way to get used to the climbing equipment. It takes a moment to figure out the two safety clips, especially the red one, which can be a bit tricky to use. From our experience at other parks, the gear there was slightly more user-friendly. That’s really the only downside we noticed. Otherwise, the climbing experience was fantastic. There are so many routes that you could easily spend more than one day here. Each course ends with a fun zipline, perfect even for younger kids. The natural surroundings are beautiful, and we spotted lots of wildlife — my daughter even saw a turtle and some coypus! In short, if your family enjoys outdoor adventures, Argelès Aventure is highly recommended. And with so many other activities nearby, it’s a great place to spend the whole day — or even several!

Our 13yr old took the highest possible she nailed it comes in different difficulties so something for everyone..great instructors
Sally S — Google review
I booked this zip line courses we were both really disappointed. The metal attachments were incredibly heavy and awkward to use — not what you’d expect for a fun, family-friendly activity. Even worse, they didn’t attach properly, which made us feel unsafe and frustrated. We’ve done plenty of zip line and ropes courses before, and we’ve never had issues like this. The equipment here just didn’t measure up. We gave a couple of the courses a try, hoping it would get better, but it didn’t. Very disappointing experience overall. Not worth the money, and definitely not something I’d recommend
Tim T — Google review
There are nice parcours for different levels. Personnel is kind and helpful. Yet only 3 stairs because safety does not seem to have the highest priority: there are no helmets and when coming down the zip-line, one of our group hit his head hard against the pulley.
Wim P — Google review
We did enjoy the climbing here. The material is a bit difficult to handle. It is a safe system though. The parcours for small children are fun too.

Amazing experience! Ive came with elderly people from a retirement home! The lady from entrance was very very nice 🥰 The garden is beautiful, the butterflies part super cute! Our elderly loved it and we are definitely coming back next year with another group. It was a nice idea to come in September because it was not crowded at all! Thank you for your nice welcoming and see you next year!

Unexpected gem in Elne. There is an entrance fee and the butterfly garden is relatively small but with lots of butterflies. The real surprise however is the big garden behind it where you can easily spend hours. Excellent place to havé a picnic with lots of benches and tables and chairs. Will certainly come back.

Amazing experience, I highly recommend going here. Friendly staff, good explanations, nice garden, and beautiful butterflies! This isn't a good place go visit if it is +28°c, it'd probably be unbearable inside. Prices: €10 for adults €9 for students €8 for children

Great place. Not only a greenhouse with butterflies, but also an outdour gardenplace, with natural local flowers and butterflies. This place promotes a quiet and peaceful place and it's possible to do yoga sessions. Plenty of parkingspace. Recommended for all ages (if you like nature)

Camping La Sardane is a picturesque campsite located just 200 meters from the beach in Argeles-sur-Mer. It offers various accommodation options including tent and caravan pitches, as well as furnished mobile homes. The campsite features water slides, daily activities, and entertainment for both children and adults. Guests can enjoy high-quality dining at the on-site restaurant and make use of the indoor pool along with two other pools.
This camp site is very well located by the beach and port. The camp restaurant is very high quality food a cut above camp site food normally. It has an indoor pool and two other pools. One thing though is there's not much shade it could do with those rush mat topped parasols u see elsewhere. There is a pagoda shade but that gets used up very quickly . But the pools are nice shapes and well maintained and lovely pool staff. The reception gives a friendly welcome .
Susan B — Google review
What a great campsite. So handy for everything. Reception staff were so friendly and accommodating. We initially were staying 5 nights but extended a few more because the sun was shining & we were so relaxed. The pool area is lovely - especially the indoor spa pool! We ate at the restaurant one night & my partner loved his meal. My lasagne was a bit dry. Shop a bit pricey in my opinion? Showers & toilets kept clean. Very safe site.
Clarissa C — Google review
All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Camping La Sardane. The staff were friendly, the pool area was clean and tidy, the food on site wasn't too bad for the price and our caravan was clean on arrival. There were, however, a couple of issues that may be down to me as an individual. You weren't allowed to take drinks or food in the pool area, which isn't the end of the world, but it would have been nice, and they closed the pool area for 1 hour in the afternoon. The kids' entertainment for the children on site could be a lot better. The town itself was lovely, lots of places to eat and drink but there wasn't any entertainment so it was just a case of eat, walk around and go back to the site. If you do go brush up on your French, it helps a lot. The beach wasn't too far away and the water was very nice but the sand is small tiny stones so take beach shoes with you. I could put down lots more, so all in all, a nice break but probably wouldn't go again.

Really nice site with a superb pool area. On site restaurant and bar were nice but a bit pricey though they had a 'happy hour' every evening. There was entertainment every night but we just sat at the van and listened from afar. We were only going to stay 2 nights but it was so relaxing we stayed an extra night. The facilities are good and clean. The lady in reception was very helpful (and pretty) and spoke quite good English. It's well located for the beaches and surrounding towns. Would deffo stay again.

Fantastic campsite with everything you need for a great holiday. Definitely on the small side but that's what makes it great, if you're looking for large parks, multiple restaurants and busy entertainment at night this is not the place, but if you're looking for a relaxing beautiful chilled out campsite with good facilities this is the place. We will be back

We had a fantastic holiday. There was plenty to do and the location is perfect with everything nearby. The chalets themselves had everything we needed. The beds however could have been a bit more comfortable! I would highly recommend.
Kerrie P — Google review
Located in the Southern most edge of Argeles Sue Mer, with an amazing beach within 100m of the front entrance of the camp, this is a well presented and clean camp. There is little on offer in terms of evening entertainment, however the Argeles Marina is a 5 min walk and has great bars, restaurants, live music and is an amazing setting overlooking the boats and hills. The camp shop is well stocked but expectedly pricey. The camp is much smaller and therefore a lot quieter than other camps we have been too which is a nice change. The pool doesn’t open until 10am but it’s always fairly easy to find sun loungers. It’s slightly smaller than the advert photos suggest, but being located next to the beach where most people go, this means that the pool isn’t that busy. The service is excellent, especially the Eurocamp team. Our chalet was ready early and they have been really attentive. Only a few notes of caution for why it gets four stars instead of five. The camp is located in close proximity to the main road so on an evening you hear a lot of car / motorcycle racing which isn’t great. Secondly, noting the size of the pool and lack of evening entertainment, this camp doesn’t offer much for families with older children.
Duke — Google review
Currently staying here. Having stayed in La Brasillia for the past few years we decided to try somewhere else. If you want a good nights sleep for you or your kids dont come here unless you want to sleep after 12:30. Loud music from surrounding areas, we might aswell be in a night club. You are in beautiful part of France with great restaurants and views but taxis are almost non existant so you have to walk or rent bikes if you dont hire a car. Pool is fine with nice slides and pool bar for a snack during your stay. Shop has a lot of what you need but you do pay a premium price wise. No entertainment centre at night means you have to leave and find something for kids to do. A few changes could make it a more pleasant stay and if only they cant do anything about the noise at night. Its nothing to do with the campsite I think most of the noise comes from the beach which the police should deal with.
John O — Google review
Great, small site with circa 200 caravans. Very clean and tidy site. Friendly, helpful staff. Great pool which is heated....a bonus until September..... And all the vans seem well equipped. Be aware the site is on a hill so you generally have to walk uphill at the end of the day, but some great views from certain places within the site. Great location for Argeles port. Also a good dog walking area adjacent to the site and a children's adventure playground at the edge of the site too.
