Argentinian restaurant
El Gaucho is a renowned Argentine restaurant situated in a charming colonial townhouse on Wilhelminastraat in Aruba. It holds the distinction of being the first Argentine restaurant to open on the island. The menu features an array of delectable dishes, including Argentine steaks, sirloins, and the impressive Pincho Torro Caliente – a colossal shish kebab.
Dining at El Gaucho was an unforgettable experience. The food is absolutely spectacular—every bite was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service? Also top-notch. The staff is attentive, professional, and clearly well-trained. Now, let’s talk about the price… also spectacular—spectacularly high. It’s definitely on the expensive side, especially considering that the prices are in U.S. dollars, not the local Aruban florin. For two people, you’re easily looking at a bill between $80 to $100, even without going overboard. One thing to note: a 15% service charge is automatically added to the bill, even for parties of two. And if you’re not paying close attention, your server might still ask for an additional tip on top of that. Overall though, the experience was excellent, and the quality of the food speaks for itself. If you’re in Aruba and want to treat yourself to a special dinner, El Gaucho won’t disappoint.
Dr R — Google review
Fantastic food, but customer service is somewhat lacking. Gaucho has always been a staple restaurant for our Aruba trips, but in the past few visits the service has been a bit off. For starters, the hostess always has an attitude, and despite having reservations, you will always have to wait for a table. One group of 6 people before us told us they had been waiting almost 1.5 hours for their table that they had a reservation for! The waiters were very friendly, but this time around we felt very rushed to order and eat. As we were placing the order for one item the waiter would try to run off and we had to tell him “please wait, we’re not done ordering yet”. The bus boys were cleaning off the tables so fast! My mom even told them “I’m not done with this yet” when they asked if she was done, but she turned around 2 minutes later and her plate has been cleared. The food however is fantastic. My rib eye steak was perfectly cooked, the soup was great, and my dessert cocktail was perfection in a cup! We also loved the guitarist that was roaming around from table to table to add some ambience!

Always an annual visit when we go to Aruba. This Argentinian Steak is out of this world! My wife and I always split the Argentine Grill meal, which comes with 5 different meats, and for $55 it’s not a bad deal. For our appetizer we got the meat empanadas. Tasty! For a beverage I got the mudslide, always get it here and never a disappointment. Also, they did a lot of renovations to the place! When you first walk in we noticed the bar was lit-up with new marble granite counter tops. In the dining area they had a whole wine bottle wall setup, looked really nice. Definitely much brighter in the facility as before was much dimmer. Would definitely make reservations in advance! Service overall was great, there definitely good about refilling your waters consistently. My wife and I drove there from the Surf Club, it’s about 15ish min drive, and we park in the street right after the restaurant, right along the little swamp/canal area. Definitely make a trip here if you have not gone yet, the atmosphere and the steak, especially is amazing. Come and enjoy!

The Argentinian grilled meat plate was amazing. Every piece of meat was made so well. The Caribbean seafood plate was cooked very well but not my favourite way to Eat seafood. Next time I go I will opt in to the meat plate.

El gaucho was a great time! Our waiter Lyndon is phenomenal and the gentleman playing the guitar was a great time. The food was delicious and largely portioned. Although shame on the manager for running out of ribeyes. Drinks were tasty. Can’t wait to go back and see Lyndon although I believe he needs to take over as manager!!! He knows his stuff!!

Overall: 4/5 Our first steakhouse on the island; we all really enjoyed the flavours. My uncle recommended it as he was visiting again after 20+ years! Food - 4/5 - Decently priced flavourful steak. Each set of 2 people shared a Gaucho, as it was a pound of meat. It was an Argentinian steak, and the seasoning and cook tasted great… We all really enjoyed it. The complimentary garlic bread was so tasty as well, I think I had like 6 in total. Also, you get 3 sides included with a main, so it was all really good value! The empanadas were juicy and tasty too! Ambiance - 5/5 - The place had a nice charm, given how old it is, and it was just well-kept and didn’t just feel like a typical restaurant. Service - 4/5 - We had a large group of 16 adults and 3 children, and they really helped accommodate our table and reservation, despite a few changes the day of. It would be a 5/5, but the only thing that our table didn’t appreciate was that the tip wasn’t apart of the service charge. We made many reservations on the island, with most places adding a 15-18% service charge to the bill, but an additional tip was never given or asked for. I am happy to tip, but the whole thing didn’t make much sense because 1) the service charge isn’t considered tip (so what is it then?) 2) if we sat in 5 different tables of 4 people each, then we wouldn’t have had this service charge and 100% of the tip would’ve gone to the servers, which it rightfully should. However, the service was indeed really good, and the servers went above and beyond, so it’s really just this “surprise” that wasn’t expected.
Alykhan V — Google review
The steaks are well seasoned. The take-out menu is ideal for a good portion of meats at a very reasonable price. Get the Picada land for about 20$ (2 skewers of tenderloin, a sausage, beef ribs, and spare ribs with a side of garlic bread and sauces). They also have a loyalty card, the 12th meal is free!

So delicious!! I enjoyed a ribeye and a ceaser salad. I dont know how many ounces that steak was...but it took me 3 days to eat it :-)The guitarist serenaded our table. He had an absolutely beautiful voice. Wonderful experience!

Restaurant
L.G. Smith's Steak & Chop House is a top-rated steakhouse in Aruba, known for its Butcher's Table Experience featuring aged Black Angus beef carved tableside. The menu also boasts tempting specialties like Rack of Lamb and freshly caught seafood, complemented by an extensive wine selection and a unique cocktail cart experience. The elegant atmosphere with subdued lighting and waterfront views adds to the exceptional dining experience.
If you want a romantic dinner with EXCELLENT customer service and VERY DELICIOUS food, you need to come here. I was so surprised how reasonable the prices were because this place looks very fancy! Love the vibes! Our server Andre was the best! The NY strip steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection! The Mac and cheese was perfect. I love the chimichuri sauce Andre recommended 🤌🏾🔥. The calamari and crab cake was PERFECT! I just wish I had a bigger crab cake or another one but that’s just me being greedy lol. Definitely loved it here and the best sit down place to eat in Aruba! I would come here every time I come back to Aruba for sure! The bill was less than $100 for 2 of us!

I absolutely love this place! We make it a point to visit LG Smith Steakhouse every time we come to the island. They add personal touches to every drink, preparing it for you at your table. You can choose your preferred cut of steak. I recommend making a reservation, but they will do their best to accommodate you if you walk in.

LGS is one of our favorite places thanks to Niyazi! It has such a lovely atmosphere, amazing high-quality cocktails, and the food is always delicious. We love coming here with our friend — the service is absolutely incredible!
Karen B — Google review
The steaks are amazing! We ordered two 22oz cowboy ribeyes and they came out rare just as we asked for. The staff are very friendly and welcoming it’s a great place to eat at. We didn’t have a reservation so we showed up at 6pm when the place opened and they sat us right away. I’d recommend making a reservation just to be safe.
Amanda V — Google review
I seen and heard mixed reviews and was skeptical but I enjoyed the dinner and scenery. Table side mixologist was dope. Waiter was on point and food recommendations were valid. Everything I ordered was good to include the drinks. My ribeye couldve been a little more tender but the flavor made up for it. Oh and the bread, they need to start over on that and come up with something different. Recommended for a regular dinner and/or a celebration.
Angel G — Google review
@Eat_this_review on ig Absolutely a 5 star restaurant. The service was stellar. The food was well beyond my expectations. There was great showmanship with not only each dish but the mixologist visited every table and made custom drinks.
Roosevelt H — Google review
This place is amazing! The food and drinks were amazing! I got the salmon with asparagus and chimichurri on the side. Devine. The mixologist swung by and made us some amazing drinks-I got the smoked old fashioned and it was a performance. Great place to propose ;) My fiancée is still looking out the window for Smokey the Dolphin.
Raúl M — Google review
This was a disappointing experience. Service was alright but it took quite the time for us to get our food. The steak has no flavor; had to constantly put salt on it. Ordered a soup and it tasted like frozen seafood and vegetables. The fritters were fried too hard; pork belly was too fatty which was overpowering as it wasn’t too tasteful. It was freezing inside, made it uncomfortable (no we weren’t half naked)

Restaurant
Wilhelmina Restaurant is a recent addition to Aruba's dining scene, quickly becoming a popular spot in Oranjestad. Named after the beloved Dutch Queen Wilhelmina, the restaurant pays homage to her global influence by offering an internationally inspired menu featuring ingredients from around the world. Each dish on the menu is marked with a small flag, showcasing the diverse culinary offerings that include French bouillabaisse and Peking duck.
This was absolutely amazing from start to finish. My wife and I cant stop raving about this place. Service from the moment we walked in the door to exiting was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and appropriate! Juan was great and he had others helping our table with everything from extra butter and bread which is very good. Ceviche was one of the best I've had in 5 different places in Aruba. We shared the rack of lamb and short rib dishes as we couldn't decide and both we very good. The soup of the day (celery based) was delicious. The drinks were well made. Photos show the dishes and we even show our clean plates except for the bones lol! The palm trees and comfortable out side seating was very nice and with the tasteful lighting made this one of the best places. You will spend some money though this was definitely worth every dollar

Wilhelmina is a must-visit in Aruba! From the complimentary sampler to the amazing dinner and desserts, everything was flawless. The garden setting is beautiful, the service is top-notch, and every dish was full of flavor and care. Don’t miss the lemon tart — it’s the perfect finish to an unforgettable meal.
Biljana K — Google review
Great ambiance, beautiful open garden seating. Very professional, polite, pleasant and efficient staff. Good drinks. Started the dinner with complementary chef special - shot of soup and a fish ball - both excellent! Dinner excellent - beautiful presentation. My husband had the Wilhelmina Ravoli appitizer on the recommendation of the waitress and loved it! For dinner, I have the #2 fish special, my husband had the #3 fish special, and my friend had the lamb. Wilhelmina cheesecake, limoncello ice cream, amd a Key Lime Martini for dessert. Highly recommend this place!
Debbie H — Google review
This was one of our favorite dining experiences in Aruba. The food was unreal — we started with the ceviche and the short rib ravioli, followed by the short rib entrée, and finished with the crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was exceptional. The atmosphere and dining space were top-notch. Hands down the best meal we had in Aruba.
Bailee — Google review
AMAZING food!! We ordered the ceviche and Mediterranean salad. I don’t usually order salad for an app but it was worth it. Their food is so authentic and well prepared. I would definitely order those again. The ceviche was very light and refreshing. We also ordered the garlic shrimp pasta and the Indonesian pork. My favorite was the Indonesian pork with noodles because the sauce was unforgettable (sorry the picture is a little blurry). Highly recommend this restaurant!! Sit inside if you don’t like bugs because at night there might be little flies around the table since the outside seating is in a beautiful tropical type atmosphere.
Amanda V — Google review
This was my favorite restaurant in Aruba during my recent trip. The service was really great and the food is amazing. I am still thinking about the Simply Truffle pasta and Wilhelmina’s Ravioli. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The whole ambiance of the restaurant is truly beautiful. I cannot wait to go back one day! Please open up a location in Turks and Caicos!
Anita B — Google review
This was our second visit to Wilhelmina on 2 separate trips. Once again, it did not disappoint. They greet you with a little snack to say hi and let the yumminess begin. The Wilhelminas raviolis are still as I remember it, yummy. The ceviche here is hands down the best. Although, Lima Bistro has killer ceviche as well. Both are unique and different from one another. We had the catch of the day, served 3 different ways, another had the braised short ribs that were killer. Another in our group is a vegetarian and I think the had the watermelon something and she fell in love with it. Sometimes vegetarians are hard to please, or there's not much options. At Wilhelmina you can't go wrong. Thanks again and we will certainly return.

Gem of a restaurant. We had made reservation ahead of time. Beautiful setting in open space. We ordered several things from menu like beetroot falafel, mushroom pasta, salad etc. do try their coco nito. Do try this restaurant if you in Aruba

Taste My Aruba is a charming restaurant located in a beautifully restored 100-year-old heritage house in downtown Oranjestad. The eatery, owned by the convivial Nathaly de Mey and her nephew, chef Derwin Tromp, prides itself on serving locally sourced fare, particularly fresh fish and local lobster.
Food was great. I had the Red Snapper Filet. Calm & relaxing atmosphere and to top it all off our waiter Mr. Glenn Kelly was just over the top amazing! We'll return here when we come back to Aruba for sure.

We tried Taste My Aruba for the first time last night. We experienced fabulous service & delicious food. We ordered three different dishes, but our favorite was the Lobster Pasta. We also enjoyed a slice of carrot cake to finish our meal. Before leaving, we made reservations to come the last night of our trip because this was our favorite restaurant on our trip! I would highly recommend making a reservation!
Samira Z — Google review
What an amazing find for our last night in Aruba. The service was amazing Glen was attentive and accommodating, the chef was one of the best I’ve ever seen. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful. The food was 10 out of 10. We had a group of 10 and every single meal was amazing.
Rene M — Google review
Nice setting and friendly service, but not worth the price Went to Taste My Aruba with two friends. The staff was friendly and we were helped right away, which was a good start. We shared a few appetizers that were actually really tasty – no complaints there. The main course, however, was a bit of a letdown. I had the lobster with black pasta – the most expensive dish on the menu – but the lobster was a bit dry and lacked flavor. One of my friends had the daily special and was also only mildly enthusiastic about it. The restaurant has a cute little courtyard and plenty of indoor seating as well, which gives it a nice atmosphere. Overall, it was a decent experience, but for the price, I don’t think it quite delivered.

The BEST meal we had in Aruba!! Ambience was incredible, staff was super attentive and friendly, and food was the best meal we had our whole trip. As someone who has a gluten allergy it can be hard to find delicious meals but there were multiple gf options as well! Can not recommend enough, if you are in Aruba you HAVE TO come here!
Meredith L — Google review
The atmosphere and ambiance is outstanding. The food was given a four-star rating versus a five-star rating because they were missing several key dishes on the menu that we specifically wanted.
Sandra M — Google review
Incredible place in the heart of Oranjestad! Elevated local cuisine served in a beautiful traditional house with an even more beautiful garden where they grow their own herbs they use in drinks. Fantastic staff and an overall incredible experience. A must go during every visit to Aruba.
Gavril R — Google review
My sister-n-law called and reserved a table for 10. We arrived and saw through the opened doors a beautiful space with a table set for 10, above it a beautiful chandelier and ceiling fan, and Latin music playing at just the right volume to enjoy it without it interfering with conversation. Glen kept our water glasses full and the drinks (alcoholic) flowing. The food, all 10 dishes, (cooked by ONE chef) was served at the same time, hot and exactly how we ordered it. We gave the chef and staff a standing ovation!!!!!! They were so appreciative. Don’t visit Oranjestad without visiting this gem!!!

Cuban restaurant
Cuba's Cookin' in the Renaissance Marketplace offers a taste of Cuba right in the heart of Oranjestad. The owner, Douglass Markus, has created an ambiance infused with Cuban charm through the cuisine, music, and art collected during his travels to the Big Island over 15 years. The restaurant exudes a nostalgic 'Havana resto bar circa 1959' vibe.
Food was delicious and flavorful! We had the ropa vieja, and grilled chicken dishes. My wife had the Cuban Zombie drink and it was delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy. The Ropa Vieja was flavorful but the meat was not as tender. The rice and beans with fried plantain was amazing too. Overall, great food and atmosphere.
W ( — Google review
Visited Cuba’s Cookin’ on May 10 during a recent trip to Aruba. The experience overall was solid, but not exceptional. The food was average — nothing particularly memorable in flavor or presentation, though it did satisfy the basics. The atmosphere was one of the highlights: lively, colorful, and true to its Cuban theme. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment for dining. Service stood out as a strong point — staff were professional, attentive, and helpful throughout the meal. Prices were on par with most comparable establishments in the area — not a bargain, but not overpriced either. Overall, Cuba’s Cookin’ is a decent choice if you’re nearby and need a meal in a pinch. It’s not a must-visit, but it delivers a dependable experience. Aruba offers plenty of more memorable dining options, but this place holds its own as a clean, friendly, and average stop.
Maria D — Google review
We were there for a late lunch snack. We ordered 6 out of there 8 happy hour specials. Portions were rather small but they were tasty enough. Personal recommendation would be the wings, calamari and the plantain boat. Drinks were half price during happy hour too.
Edwin C — Google review
We stopped in for a snack after renaisannce island and they had tapasitas hour starting at 2:30 PM. We tried the red sangria (not very sweet = perfect in my opinion), mini Cuban sandwich, pork bites and fried calamari. All of it was really tasty! It you like pickles ask for extra pickles in the mini Cuban. We had only one in ours (probably the only "bad" part of our experience). Now its hard for me to give 5 stars for the food when we only had a few appetizers and not a full sit down dinner. With that, I'm sure that their full menu is excellent and lives up to the expectation that I now have of their food. The location is great and we enjoyed the outdoor seating with the amazing Aruban breeze! Service was great too (keep in mind that it was early and they were not busy at all) so that was a plus. We said we would definitely come back when shopping in the downtown area!
Leslie M — Google review
We have gone in twice for Tapas and drinks while walking around town. They have good Wi-Fi, cold beer, and a nice breeze blowing through the porch part of the restaurant. The servers are more polite than friendly, and have never offered another beverage when we had an empty one next to us. They also have missed bringing items we have asked for, like hot sauce. We especially like the Plantain Boats and Mini Cuban Sandwich snacks. Their fries are well-cooked and brought out nice and hot. We would eat at Cuba's Cooking again.
Daniel G — Google review
Absolutely the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. I got the sampler plate with 3 meats. Ribs were cold, shredded beef was super tough and had no flavor, beans had a funk taste to them. Only thing edible on the plate was the plantains. Drink was nothing but sugar. Service was “ok” asked by 4 different workers to order, after I ordered already. They offered to fix it when they saw I ate nothing and i refused as they would just toss it back in the microwave. My response Thank you for the time to respond, if I enjoyed my drink why was it full when I left? I did finish my water but not the drink. Like I said the service was ok and she did offer to fix the cold ribs which were warm on the top and COLD on the bottom. A clear sign of not fresh food cooked in a microwave. And yes I tipped the server a decent amount even though I left unhappy cause they did nothing wrong, it’s how you run your business with cold microwaved food hoping tourist don’t review that caused my negative review. Bottom line is your food sucks. I know I’m not the only one as the 2 other tables that left when I was there either left behind a ton of food or took full to-go boxes. Most people are to afraid to be honest but I’m not.
Antonio B — Google review
We had such promising hope and we came to eat here. When we arrived, only one other table was set, which was a couple of two. We arrived with our entire family and we promptly ordered. At first service was really good. They made sure that we have enough water. We had our menus and we were able to place our orders promptly. It took a little while, but after about eight minutes or seven, our drinks came out. After that, we sat for about an hour before any of our food was ever served. When our food was finally served, only appetizers came out first and that is after an hour waiting. It took about another 25 minutes for the rest of our food to be served and still one person in our party. Their food wasn’t served. Also, the fish that some person in my party received was uncooked, you would think after waiting such a long time that the fish would at least be thoroughly cooked About three other tables were sat after us, and all of these tables received their food before we did. I will say that they were able to comp the fish, but overall it was just a dissatisfying experience. The food was just overall mid the Ropa Vieja felt a little bit old and tough.

The food was outstanding , fresh, tasty, and arrives within 15 minutes. The water served was also very good . We definitely recommend this place. There is also singing at night for some authentic Cuban entertainment

Bistro de Suikertuin is a charming bistro located in a historic home in downtown Oranjestad, offering a cozy and trendy dining experience. The restaurant opens daily at 7:30 am, serving affordable breakfast specials such as the Aruban, American, Caribbean, and Mexican breakfast. In addition to quality coffee and healthy lunch options, they also provide a full dinner menu featuring dishes like chicken cordon bleu and beef tenderloin with Dutch potatoes.
Suikertuin is a nice establishment. The building is very nice and the bougainvillea trees make it very picturesque. The inside ambiance is quite welcoming as well. The food was good. I enjoyed the tuna item. The loaded nachos were very filling, but good. The drinks were well made. The service was friendly and courteous. I’d say almost every item here (not just the food) was presented in a very aesthetically pleasing manner. You could tell that some thought was put into it.

Wanted some local food and beers and found this restaurant about a 1 km walk from where our ship was docked. No obvious tourists inside, and the place was well reviewed. I was not disappointed! Started with a bucket of ice cold Balashi beers, a local favorite, and definitely needed to cool off from the walk as it was incredibly hot and humid outside at midday. There is a very charming garden with tables in the back, but nobody had the guts to sit out there because of the heat, so we got to enjoy some air-conditioning! I asked the server what people really enjoy and continually order at her restaurant, and she suggested the beef carpaccio. It was quite good, fresh, flavorful, with quality beef, and a peppercorn style dressing on top of the rocket (arugula) and greens. The special of a tuna club sandwich sounded interesting, and indeed it was, with a fried egg on top of the tuna. Gave off a very European vibe to me, but Aruba is Dutch, so there you go. With my lunch, I ordered the onion soup, which was different from its French cousin, in that it used a pungent blue cheese, and a large number of herbs. It had just the right amount of onions in there, was not overly salty, and was quite tasty. Served in what appeared to be a candy dish, it was excellent, despite it being very hot outside and seemingly a bad day to order soup. Do yourself a favor and order a bowl! My buddy ordered a pasta Bolognese, which he said was excellent, along with a bowl of the same onion soup for himself. Service was island relaxed, and they checked in on us from time to time. Friendly and knowledgeable, they spoke excellent English, and helped us enjoy the great meal.

While walking through Downtown Oranjestad, my wife and I were told that this place had the best Apple Pie. My wife and I decided to go here for dinner that evening. The restaurant has a very cozy Dutch vibe, it really transports you there! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful while looking over the menu. My wife and I enjoyed our fish and Chicken entrees that we ordered. The food was seasoned and cooked extremely well. Now for the part that you're waiting for, the Dutch Apple Pie was excellent! We've never had an "authentic" Dutch pie. In the US our apple pies are "wet" and I didn't think there was another way to make Apple pie 😂. Well this apple pie did not have much moisture but was still extremely flavorful, had great texture, and created a wonderful experience in the mouth. We had a really good time at this restaurant, we highly recommend it! Especially if you like a good apple pie for dessert.

Lovely spot with great food – would recommend! I’ve eaten at De Suikertuin twice now and both times were really good. First of all, the setting is great – their garden is super peaceful, with birds chirping in the background. A very calm and welcoming place to start your evening. Service is thoughtful from the start – they ask about allergies right away, and even the amuse was adjusted for me (a small pumpkin soup and a little bite – a nice touch). I’ve had the shrimp ravioli and the fried prawns with vegetables – both very tasty. The chocolate lava cake is definitely worth saving room for! Overall, I’ve had really good experiences here: friendly staff, high-quality food, and a relaxing atmosphere. Only thing to note is that the food can take a while to arrive, but it’s worth the wait.

City Garden Bistro de Suikertuin is the calm in the midst of our daily busy lives. The settling is beautiful. Parking is free or on the street. We arrived as a party of seven. An email to make a reservation was easily arranged and responded to. No left overs were observed from our group of 3 generations. Popular dishes such as the Filet Americain Baguette with beef tartare was sold out. Ingredients looked very fresh. The Dutch Apple pie and Jardin au Chocolat were beautifully composed and demolished. We were told all the desserts are made in house. I would have lingered longer but we had to leave Aruba. A very enjoyable meal for all in our group.

This restaurants has a warm, intimate and chill ambiance. It’s a 100 year old renovated home, made of concrete, seashells, and sandstone, which adds to homey vibe. On top of that the food is delicious. Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted by Gidi, who did a wonderful job in explaining the menu and specials for the evening, while providing his favorites and recommendations. As the night progressed I met the bartender Pari, she makes flavorful and well balanced drinks. Pari & Gidi gave awesome insight if Aruba and things to do and explore while on the island. Check this place out while you’re in Aruba and enjoy the cultural exchange!!

Fine dining restaurant
Madame Janette is a charming alfresco garden restaurant in Aruba, named after the Scotch bonnet pepper. The menu offers a surprising French-inspired cuisine with Caribbean influences, especially in fish and seafood dishes. The restaurant boasts a classically trained chef and its own dry-aging chamber for high-quality beef. With an extensive craft beer selection, it's a haven for beer enthusiasts. The dinner menu reflects various ethnic cultures, featuring dishes like Hungarian Goulash Soup and Chinese-style Bang Bang shrimp.
Our first visit to Madame Janette did not disappoint. I was worried about the completely outdoor seating but the canopy of trees kept the area free of direct sun exposure. The wine list had many selections and the mark up was typical for most restaurants in Florida. The portions were huge and flavorful to the palate. Spicy sauces with interesting blends of flavor. We had Grouper (highly recommend), beef tenderloin, tortellini, and the Sea Bass - all were extremely satisfied with their choice. A musician maintained an upbeat - chilled vibe playing familiar tunes but not did not interfere with conversation at the table. Service by Zuzy by request but she was clearly stretched to the max. My only comment would be to suggest getting the check to the table without prolonged delay when guests are ready to depart. Will definitely visit again!

A place I go to every year visiting Aruba. I always get the Almond Grouper fish, it’s so delicious! I got the side, a potato grout, that was amazing, would highly recommend, get it every time. My wife got the Schnitzel Vienna Style, also get that every time, very good. We also got some yummy martini drinks as well. I got the watermelon one very refreshing. This was the first time we were able to catch a live singer at Madame’s. Because we have two younger children, we’re not able to stay very late. But the family was good this time so we were able to enjoy. Plenty of seating in the outdoor patio area and inside as well, a very comfortable environment! I recommend making a reservation in advance. Come to enjoy a nice dinner evening, enjoy!

Family of four for 6pm reservation on Friday. The dinner crowd wasn’t there yet and we chose to sit outside. Great atmosphere, nice breeze and shade from trees. Drinks were great. Appetizer was bitter ballen (spelling). Entrees were great! Waitress and staff also wonderful and helpful. Solo live musician was spot on. We really enjoyed our meal. Leave room for dessert. It was incredible!

We had Jai as our waitress and I have to say how observant and great she is in what she does. I was wearing a skirt, and after we placed in an order for our drinks, the straw-made seats were really digging my skin. So I asked her for an extra napkin to place it on the seat. As I got up to place the napkin on the seat, Jai had returned and brought a cushion for me to comfortably sit on. I was surprised that she noticed quickly and act accordingly. As far as the food and drinks, they were excellent. My boyfriend and I ordered the Aruban spring punch and the passion fruit kiss. Let me tell you, they don’t cheap out on the liquor pour. For apps, we ordered the mix dumplings and bang-bang shrimp. The dumplings could’ve been better imo, but the shrimp was delicious! For our dinner, we had the steak for 2 and all I have to say is….you won’t regret this option. Last but not least, we ordered the fried Oreos for dessert. It was nothing special, but still good nonetheless. We would definitely come back here again in the future if we ever decide to take another trip to the island.
Flavia A — Google review
Renowned for its quality fine cuisine which I tested and indeed it is true. I chose it to be the final dining experience for my stay in Aruba. If it were not for the bad live music I would have rated them at a five! The atmosphere is great (an experience) yet the live singer did not do justice to it! Service was slow and long time between entries. The Vienna Schnitzel is the biggest, most delicious I ever had. Make sure you try the Carpaccio as an appetizer. Almost any type of beer in Europe will be there!

This garden-style restaurant has a spacious outdoor setting with plenty of seating and nice decor. The food is delicious, though the portions are a bit small for the price, which is on the higher side. That said, service is fast and the staff are friendly and attentive. A pleasant spot for a relaxed meal, especially if you enjoy dining in a well-decorated, open-air environment.

What an amazing place! First went here about 20 years ago and remembered it when we just went back to Aruba. The food is incredible, but the best part is the atmosphere. They managed to create a garden-like oasis in an area where you would not expect it. From the perfect, ambient lighting to the live music that is at a perfect volume, I'll come here at least once every time I'm in Aruba!

Pinchos Bar and Grill is a charming open-air restaurant located on a pier extending into the Caribbean Sea in Oranjestad. The casual yet chic eatery offers a funky bar, seating with fabulous water views, and an alluring setting under twinkling blue lights. Specializing in grilled dishes and tapas-style small plates, it's perfect for sharing and sampling various flavors.
Food and service were beyond amazing. We booked our reservations for 6:00 p.m. and it was wonderful because we got to see the sunset and nighttime views from the dinner table. You absolutely need reservations here ESPECIALLY if you are a large group. Make sure that they also confirm your reservation otherwise it's not booked yet. Food was outstanding. One of the best restaurants I've been to in years. 10/10 and I will highly recommend to family and friends who go to Aruba.
Sandip S — Google review
Food was good, great views, fun seeing the fish in the water. Service was great. Food was not our favorite on the island but again, it was still good. Biggest complaint was the heat. We went at 6:30 when the sun was set and I know you cannot control the weather but there was no breeze (not sure if that's normal on this part of the island or what) no fans, no air circulation at all, there were tents for shade over us but I think that was holding in heat at that point.

My family and I booked dinner here and loved it so much we came back the next night. The ambience is so beautiful especially at sunset. I truly cannot rave enough about the food. Myself and my family all considered our dishes a literal 10/10. The coconut shrimp is phenomenal and the filet mignon is the best I have ever had. We are already looking forward to returning next year!

We called ahead for a table and were seated immediately upon arrival. The view was unbelievable as we enjoyed the sunset by the water. We could also see fish swimming under us as it got dark. The drinks were good and the food was cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and professional and it made our experience perfect. We will definitely be back next time we come to Aruba!

This was our second time to Aruba, but our first time to Pinchos. We got lucky the day off and called and they had an opening. Nice welcoming environment, lovely view over the water with the sunset in the back. Jeysh or server was nice, friendly and greeted us with a warm smile. She answered our questions without hesitation. She gave us our space and everything was timed accordingly. The food was good, nothing to complain about, nice presentation and above par, which we were ok with. I would go back for a nice dinner out. Jeysh, thank you for welcoming us. See you next time. Ron and Nickie

Wonderful food and service. Food was pristine! Eating on the dock is cool but the breeze was blocked by the bar/kitchen so it was humid!

5 stars is not enough. Everything about Pinchos is always excellent. Easy parking. Great scenery & service, and most importantly, great food. Ask Ron or one of the servers for a piece of bread to feed the fish swimming around on the dock where you sit.

Absolutely great place with beautiful and romantic views! We were walking by and saw this place. Decided to stop by for dinner. It was a very good choice! The food was delicious! The service was very good! We got red snapper and fish soup. The soup (seafood bisque) was one of the best! Fish was a great choice, too. Also, pan seard scallops were delicious! We had a great time! Definitely recommend! Great place for dinner to see a beautiful sunset and enjoy delicious and fresh food!!! Live singing 🎶 💕

Located in the Renaissance Marketplace, The Dutch Pancakehouse is renowned for its wide array of Dutch-style pancakes and poffertjes. Unlike traditional American pancakes, these are thin and can be enjoyed as both sweet and savory options, making them suitable for any meal of the day. The menu boasts numerous varieties with ingredients like meats, vegetables, and cheeses.
After watching videos and reading reviews, we were worried about a really long wait, so we headed straight here from the cruise ship. No line but all of the tables were full. Very short wait to be seated. Server is there taking drink orders immediately! Food came out super fast and was just as delicious as the pictures made it seem. The amount of food is plentiful, so come hungry. As we were finishing up, birds were sneaking in to steal crumbs. This was cute and actually was a positive and fun end to our dining. We look forward to coming back in November.✌️

Great place for family dining. Family of 7, we did call for reservations for dinner on a Monday evening and we were easily accommodated. Regular Schnitzels with Mushroom sauce was huge and tasty. Grandson helped gobble it up since he liked the crispy crunchy crust. The Strawberry Banana pancake was completely eaten by my daughter. Drinks were on the small size but our water was quickly refilled. Free parking for the first 3 hours. Kids liked the small Arcade not too faraway in the marketplace to kill some time. There was live entertainment that could be easily seen from their outdoor patio area, singer was good.

This spot came highly recommended, and we completely agree! The food, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful. The “Norway” (smoked salmon pancake) was so good it’s worth coming back for again and again. My wife also loved the “Seaport Breakfast,” the hashbrowns are the best! This will definitely be one of our go-to breakfast spots whenever we’re on the island.

This place is who it says it is. I had this restaurant on my list of must eat places in Aruba and they didn't disappoint. The wait time was maybe 10-15 mins for one person. The waiter asked me what I wanted to drink and left to get it and never brought it. Another waiter checked on me and they got it for me after I sat for awhile with nothing to drink. I ordered a custom dutch pancake of just spinach, onions, and cajun seasoning. With garlic sauce to dip. And I ordered the mini pancakes with cinnamon and hazelnut sauce. Great portion sizes.I was able to eat off my food twice. The birds are not pleasant. They hover, fly low , and get on empty tables when people get up. I also saw a customer fanning one away. It is outside seating. So the earlier you go the better bc it gets very hot outside. I debated eating in my car but I had a fan and the breeze helped.

The Dutch pancakes we ordered were delish. Get the Shanghai pancake. The Norway pancake was good too.. just too much iceberg lettuce! You won’t be disappointed! The food is also reasonably priced! And service was quick

We got there at 10:25am and were seated at 10:54am. Our food was good. I ordered the Caribbean banana ditch pancake and added pineapples. The was so tasty, it wasn't too sweet! My boyfriend ordered the seaport breakfast which was also good. Though we had to stand it a line for almost 30min , the wait went by fairly quickly. The restaurant does a great job with managing the seating process.

Fantastic experience. Ordered the NY Strip and have to say that it was one of the best if not the best Strip steaks I've ever eaten. Great dessert, the Deconstructed Cheesecake. On top of the great food was the awesome service. Keith, our server, whose voice is identical to Vin Diesel's, was the best yiu could ask for. As many of you know, my wife has some food intolerances and they were able to accommodate her needs. Overall wonderful experience. Highly recommended

If you are looking for a place to celebrate a special moment than this is the place. Enough seating to for two or a bigger group. Do keep in mind that you need to make a reservation. I was really impressed by the staff. They will go above and beyond to fullfill every wish. The portions are a good size to enjoy by yourself or share it. My steak was a bit salty, but they grilled it the way I wanted it. The dessert was also very deliscious.

Loved this area and the ambiance here! The food was delicious and would recommend while in Aruba. We purchased an additional bottle of this wine to bring home! My husband and I came here for our anniversary, which we left in the comments when making the reservation, they did not offer anything during our meal. As a waiter was boxing our food he was giving us history about the area which we enjoyed. (He wasn’t our server but had came over to bring our wine and box our leftover) He asked what the occasion for visiting Aruba and we replied our anniversary - afterwards our waiter came over and offered champagne which was thoughtful!

I’ve had good service in Aruba, but Keith was kind of mind blowing. Super attentive, funny, witty, etc. it was nice having him. Also, best steak I’ve ever had in my life until recently! Had the 22 oz ribeye medium and it was perfect. We had escargot and ceasar salad for appetizers, the souped up all the sauce from the escargot and even though the ceasar looks simple the dressing was tasty. Almost forgot the mac and cheese. I would return to this place just for the mac it was GOOD! Seriously good. Very tasty. Not traditional mac and cheese but somewhat elevated in the best way.

One of the best steak houses in the Bahamas! Over the vacation in Aruba, if you want a fine dinning experience with delicious specialities and great wine list, then this is the place. The lamb chops and the Ribeye steak are exceptional! The potatoes au gratin is one of a kind. Make sure you reserve. Price for quality is very reasonable, remember this is fine dinning (dress code is casual yet most were elegantly dressed).

The best steakhouse I have ever been to. The service was top notch. The food was delicious. My husband and I always look at dessert before dinner and base our full experience off of the end to our meal, which they did not disappoint. The coconut cake was the best I have ever had and I am obsessed with coconut cake. There was nothing that would beat Bostons, except for Daniel's.
Sue W — Google review
The restaurant was not super busy which is great. It’s half outside half inside, outside gets noisy with the square and other restaurants being around the area. It also gets very hot outside. Our waiter Keith was not great. He wasn’t around much. We had empty cups, plates sat on the table a while and every time he said something would be out in 1 minute he’d be back 10 minutes later. As for the food, the tuna tartare is small for its price. Suited best for two people max. Still good just could be beefed up a little. The burger sliders were great. For steaks we had a New York strip and a prime dry aged ribeye for $135. Both steaks were very good, the sauce that comes with is extremely salty though. The grilled brussel sprouts I could live without. Very bland in flavor with nothing exciting to them. The sweet potato fries were good, crispy and salty. Overall a very good meal that with small tweaks could be excellent. I’ve dined here a few times and it’s always good.

Have never had anything less than an amazing meal here. Tonight was no exception. The food and service are amazing, and worth the high price in my opinion. Tonight we had a cosmopolitan and a great glass of Sauvignon blanc, shared a chopped salad which had greens, eggs, blue cheese, croutons, and unsure what else. For our dinner we shared the small seafood tower with king crab, lump crab, large shrimp, and lobster. Served with remoulade, cocktail sauce, and drawn butter. ONLY issue with the meal was that the drawn butter was chilly. Also shared baked potato with the accoutrements on the side. Passed on dessert but had a cappuccino. Wonderful meal even for a non-meat eater. Treat yourself!

Absolutely perfect dining experience. The restaurant is very nice. The food and the service are excellent. They have a good selection of wines as well. It is truly a great dining experience. All the dishes are exceptional. Specially the Ahi tuna. Just perfect. The lamb chops are nice and juicy and it’s a very generous portion. The top sirloin is also great. And the lobster mac and cheese is delicious. And of course dessert. The double chocolate is my favorite. It’s truly a great dining experience specially with that good service.

We had an extraordinary dinner. We ordered the porterhouse for two adults and one 10 year old. It was enough for everyone! I would go for medium rare plus. The. As a side the potatoes and Cesar salad were terrific. For dessert go for the apple strudel and the creme brulee.

Ruth’s Chris is hands-down my favorite steakhouse on the island. Every visit is a treat, and tonight was no exception. Their ribeye is perfection—juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I like it. I always pair it with the sweet potato casserole, which is out of this world—creamy, rich, and topped with perfectly roasted pecans. One of their best-kept secrets? The beef carpaccio. It’s not on the menu, but if you request it in advance when making your reservation, you’re in for a real treat. It’s the best I’ve had anywhere. Tonight we also tried the calamari for the first time and it was AMAZING—crispy, tender, and bursting with flavor. My husband had the lamb chops and was equally impressed. We ended the meal with their cheesecake, which is the perfect finish—smooth, rich, and absolutely delicious. Huge shoutout to Carlos and Sergio for the wonderful service. They made our night extra special with their warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism. Highly recommend Ruth’s Chris Steak House Aruba for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience!

If you're searching for a delightful dining experience in Aruba, look no further than Restaurant Anno 1877. Nestled in a historic building dating back to 1877, this charming eatery offers an exquisite taste of classic French cuisine right in the heart of Downtown Oranjestad. With Chef Linda Pool at the helm and co-owner Annie de Weerd by her side, guests can expect impeccable service paired with mouthwatering dishes like tournedos au poivre and coq au vin.
We had such a wonderful experience with Chef owner Linda and maître d' Annie. The service and interaction were engaging and interesting as Linda walked us through the buildings history & her culinary background and Annie ensured we were never in need. Annie and our Aunt Theodora enjoyed talking about their experiences in Holland, London and Greece. The cuisine, from the lentil soup (perfectly HOT) and succulent escargot, to the amazing unicorn fish, and my pork chop, which was accompanied by a culinary treasure of mashed potatoes infused with just the perfect amount of Sauerkraut 😊!!! This was one of the best dinner experiences we have had in Aruba. ANNO1877 is now on our permanent annual restaurant list!

Very nice restaurant in an unassuming historical building. The place is nice The food is good. Nice selection of appetizers and main course. The carpaccio is superb. And so the tuna tatami. The lamb chops are good. It has a really good taste of rosemary. They are famous for their soufflé. Either chocolate or the Grand Manier one. The food is on a slow pace. Good to enjoy the good wines they serve.

We had an amazing time for a birthday celebration at Restaurant anno 1887! Our server, Annie, was very attentive and it was nice of the chef to come out and check in on everyone as well. The bouillabaisse, duck breast, and chocolate souffle were the stars of the night! A must try when you are in Aruba.

What a hidden gem in Aruba! This is our 2nd year returning to this restaurant and we were not disappointed! It features fantastic French food and is also kid-friendly so the whole meal can have an elevated meal together! The meal began with an amuse bouche from the kitchen (delightful tuna bites), then we had beef carpaccio with duck liver as an appetizer, they had a mustard soup special (definitely give it a try!) as well as the classic Onion soup with Gouda cheese on top, then for entrees I had the rack of lamb, and for dessert we couldn’t decide which dessert to get, so we got the Desert lover, which comes with both a miniature chocolate soufflé as well as crème brûlée and vanilla ice cream. So delicious! The drinks were great as well - a French 75 to start, great French wine options for dinner, and an espresso martini (and specialty coffees) for dessert! The chef is very personable and came out to talk to our table, just like she did last year, and even had a handmade Mickey high chair ready for my son when we arrived. A beautiful night of dining with our family! We will definitely be back again next year!

If you find yourself in downtown Oranjestad, Aruba, a visit to The Pastechi House is a must. This unassuming spot offers a variety of pastechis, which are similar to empanadas and come filled with options like cheese, meats, spanakopita, and chop suey. These crescent-shaped pastries make for an excellent and affordable breakfast, lunch, or snack.
Amazing place, delicious food and great service. Bought 10 pastechis to go on my last day in Aruba.

This place has super affordable pastechis and drinks (water & soda is all I purchase here). The service is always friendly, and the food is always delicious! I’ve been going there for over 10 years, and it’s always the same good quality food. Please give them a try. You won’t regret it!
Cary G — Google review
Amazing restaurant. The pastechis cost $2 USD each and they are kept in a warmer. They have spicy garlic sauce that you can get with them that is a must try. Would highly recommend this spot as the pastechis here are my favorite out of the 5+ other spots we tried. They taste like a chalupa and empanada mixed and are filled with different things. The parking is a bit tricky to get to. Just route to the bazaar building near it and there is a parking area right in front of the pastechi house across the "main street" which is just sort of a path for trolleys

Just a quick grab and go shop . We bought cheese and chop suey (vegetarian) paste chilies 3 time on our 10 day trip and it was great! Before we headed to airport, that morning we got the freshest and they were delicious!!

Absolutely loved this place. Small, cute and welcoming. An extremely nice gentleman was taking orders. I absolutely loved their crab cakes. I had to keep going back for more! They have a few sauces I recommend. Their garlic, their hot and their curry, in that order. I also really enjoyed their beef croquette. Everything was perfect and affordable!
Steve J — Google review
As recommended by many you have to try pastechi when you are in Aruba, so we did. We went there to have them for breakfast as they don't qualify for a full lunch and are similar to pastries we have in Greece for breakfast. We got 4 types, cheese, ham and cheese, samosa and spanakopita and then a dedito which is basically similar to a mozzarella stick but feels "healthier" (not really just feels that way :p) from the pastechi, the samosa tasted more like a samosa but the spanakopita, while good, could not compare to a Greek spanakopita. It was good, just that it has to compare to a dish I know well. My favorite was the plain cheese one. Nice breakfast that was fast and cheap. Will definitely go back for another visit before we leave our vacation here.
Chris ( — Google review
Liked it! Tried pastechi for the first time and they were really good. I ordered 3 of them, chicken, beef and Indian samosa. There are many others on the menu but they were out of most of them, so the choices were a little more limited. One person takes you order and the other person in the back seems to do all the prep work. I took almost 20 minutes to get what looked to be pre-made pastechi. However, they are good with a soft middle and a light crunch on the outside. The filling inside is very finely chopped meat. Because there isn't much filling, you should order more than what you think you need. I ordered three and probably could have eaten five more.
Jim T — Google review
I must’ve came here on the dead season because the whole area I only seen about 3-5 people around, besides the people I wouldn’t make this a must stop to eat one of these that they sell all around the island. The pastechi tasted ok the dough tasted the best and the server didn’t even ask if we wanted any sauces on the side.

Located on the Palm Beach boulevard in Aruba, Smokey Joe's Island Grill is a renowned open-air restaurant with a vibrant outdoor terrace. The casual yet festive atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for vacation dining. The restaurant is famous for its award-winning Baby Back Ribs, available in four flavors including Original Recipe, Sriracha BBQ, Joes Dry-Rub and Smokeys Signature Smoke Sauce.
MUST TRY!! I was on vacation with my friends and was hungry after shopping nearby. This spot was popping and very busy with its open outdoor dining. The service was amazing very nice and definitely kid friendly. The food was super fresh and delicious. I recommend you try the firecracker shrimp it was BOMB. We had the ribs, wings, chicken, pulled pork, and the sides with corn on the cob with fries. There’s plenty of drinks too both for kids and adults. THE CHOCOLATE CAKE was so fudgy and astronomical. The food was soo filling i had a food coma right after. I definitely recommend you try it out!

After seeing this place crowded every time we passed by in Aruba, we finally stopped in. It's a casual spot right on the side of the road with pedestrians walking by. Our waitress was outstanding—she offered great recommendations and was very attentive. I had the red snapper with French fries, rice, and beans, and the food was fantastic. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

My husband went to Aruba for our honeymoon, and Smokey Joe’s was one of our favorite restaurants. It was one of two places that we revisited! The vibe was super laid back and the service was great. The food was AMAZING. I highly recommend the jerk chicken and the pulled pork burger. The ribs were great too!
Chloe H — Google review
Our favorite spot! The food was perfect! The kids loved the food too. People are really kind and helpful. Very rich with flavor! We loved the jerk chicken, the kids menu, the fish, the shrimp, everything! Thanks for having us twice. People who work there really deserve a trophy! ❤️

Nice place on the inside, but they could improve the outside appearance to make it more attractive and welcoming. Even if guests mainly sit inside, first impressions still matter. The service was good. I had the picanha, and it was very good with great taste and nicely prepared. My wife had the salmon, but unfortunately it was dry. They didn’t ask how we’d like it baked, which could be a good improvement. We actually came for the brisket beef, but it was out of stock. My friend ordered the mixed platter and got a small piece of brisket, but it wasn’t juicy and was a bit dry. That said, the Amstel Bright was cold and refreshing, and overall the service made it a pleasant experience

Thank you Calvin for making our dinner experience at smokey Joe's one of a kind with your sense of humour and kindness! We had the jerk chicken and coconut shrimp and both were super happy with our choices, delicious and great portions! We'll definitely come back again before the end of our trip! Quack quack Calvin!

Normally I don't go to chain restaurants when I'm on vacation, but friends I was with wanted to go here. I was pleasantly surprised. The ribs were excellent. Some of the best I've had. The prices were reasonable, particularly for Aruba. The service was a little slow but not terrible. I'll be back

I rated food 4/5 because it took a long time, and could have had some more meat on the bones, but it was a good cut, no noticeable chunks of fat/cartilage... Ahhh you know what... Upping to a 5/5.

Wacky Wahoo's is a laid-back yet exceptional dining spot in Palm Beach, offering a warm and intimate atmosphere. Chef Harald Rudel and his wife Rossanna own this gem, where they exclusively serve wild-caught Caribbean fish and hand-selected Argentine steaks.
Great experience out on the patio. It was windy but definitely a great time. Service was too notch. Food was fresh and hot! They don't answer the phone so don't bother calling (that's what the waiter said). Fish, steak and salad were very good.

Best and freshest food I ate while on Aruba! I heard great things before going and was glad I got to go just before we left. Amazing fresh snapper, add such a tasty cream of the sea soup! Pina colada was the perfect finisher, and its nice they served some free garlic bread alongside everything too. Definitely get there a little early if you don't want to wait too long to get in as its a busy spot. The service is fast though and they were very friendly and attentive.

The food was excellent. I had ceviche at several places while in Aruba and this was the best. My barracuda special was outstanding too. Highly recommended for fresh fish. Also the garlic bread was really good.

We visited this place for dinner on our vacation. The place was packed which I can understand. The food is out of this world. We ended up sitting at the bar. Which was even better than sitting at the table because our bartenders Reni and Collin went above and beyond in service. Our cocktails were incredible! We were presented with recommendations of the specials for the night. Explained the ingredients that we weren’t familiar with. Regularly checking on us and truly made us feel very special. I highly recommend this place because of the food but even more because of the service we have received during our visit.

Caught in the morning and cooked for you that night. Amazing amazing food. Bright and fun dining room with quick service. Coconut shrimp, ceviche 10 out of 10. Dinners served with cornbread and veggies and rice and come hungry!! We absolutely loved it 😁👌🏼

We came by on a Friday evening and were told the wait would be about 20 minutes-not bad. There wasn’t really a good place to wait, but luckily we got seated in around 15 minutes. After that, though, things slowed way down. It took a while before anyone came to take our order, and then even longer to actually get the food. By the time our dishes arrived, we had been there for over an hour. The place was also really loud, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the evening. Honestly, we started to regret choosing this spot. That said, the food was great-fresh, hot, and flavorful, with good-sized portions. I had the ocean soup, which came with a few croutons. I do wish they served it with some warm bread or even their cornbread-that would’ve made it even better.
Olga C — Google review
We waited around 30 minutes for a table. Once seated, the food came out quickly, and the seafood was fresh and tasty. Prices are on the higher side, but the portions are big. The restaurant itself is small with limited seating—indoor space felt cramped and noisy, which made it hard to really enjoy the meal. There are a few outdoor tables, but not many. Worth it for the food, but the overall dining experience could be better.
Linh D — Google review
Food here was ok, but nothing spectacular. They do not take reservations. Walk in only. We waited about 10 minutes for a table. Service was mediocre as well. It was also extremely loud in there, as it got louder people just kept raising their voices until it seemed like people were yelling at each other so they could hear over other tables. With so many great restaurants, I doubt we will eat here again.

Texas de Brazil is an upscale Brazilian restaurant known for its all-you-can-eat grilled meats carved tableside and a salad bar. It's one of the remarkable restaurants in Aruba, offering a perfect setting for memorable group dining experiences. Guests praise the amazing food and variety of meats, as well as the great assortment of cheese, salads, and soups at the salad bar. The service is commendable, with friendly staff like server Diego making the dining experience exceptional.
Came here for date night with my partner and we had an amazing experience. The service was top notch. The food was delicious. There were so many types of meats to choose from. All were perfectly cooked to your liking and preference. The ambiance was cozy and it was just really fun. 10/10 must try.
Sha-Ira C — Google review
We decided this time to go to a meat franchise at a family reunion which we went to Bomba of 20 people and they served us with great attention and affection who was who. I loved it because they have a buffet apart from the entire selection of meats that they had another thing that I paid a lot of attention to was that they did not have full-term meat and they asked us if we wanted it they would do it for us. A very clean place, everything was perfect and the person who served us explained to us how the procedure worked as well as the other franchises except that the drinks were exquisite, I recommend it 100% not simply because it is a franchise, the explosion of flavors will be the same as the others since the pre-prepared ingredients of each country have the same flavor with a different finish.
Master C — Google review
My first time visiting a Brazilian steakhouse and I had a really good time. The service was perfect and the quality of the food was overall really good. Some of the meat was overcooked but majority of the food offered was amazing. The price is high at $68 USD so its kind-of hard to get your moneys worth, but I'd still recommend it if you're a fan of Brazilian steakhouses.
Nick V — Google review
Food is below par compared to other Texas de Brazil locations, as some of the beef churascarra is dry. However the service of the staff definitely makes it up.
Bux S — Google review
Absolutely terrible, save your money, used to be good, salad bar is just ok, nothing great, the meat is absolutely low low quality, almost uneditable, what a waste of money. 2 people, no drinks, $150.00 !!!!! The place has not been updated in 30 years, bathrooms are filthy….servers were ok, trying, but oh the meat..uuuuuggghhhhh.
Bill W — Google review
A fantastic place from every perspective. The staff nail every part, friendliness, right amount of attention, playfulness, speed, quality of service. The food is beyond amazing, I never had anything bad and the salad bar is not an afterthought, it is actually a full on choice of 45 items. The drinks and deserts are indeed masterpieces and you can't go wrong with any of them. It is a bit expensive so expect food and drinks to set you back about 120$ per person. Worth it in my opinion. Even 200 would be worth it, this place is amazing!

Loved all the different cuts and everything was so juicy and well flavoured. Lots of variety like chorizo, lamb, beef, and parmesan chicken but our favourite was the Picanha and was the best cut for us. Service was also really friendly and was an overall very enjoyable place for dinner

Nestled near the Barcelo resort, Bohemian Bar & Restaurant is a trendy and relaxed tropical haven featuring tiki-style huts and bohemian retreats. The menu showcases a fusion of French and global cuisine with occasional Caribbean twists, offering an array of options from raclette to paella, including creative vegetarian and vegan choices. The staff at Bohemian were incredibly accommodating, personable, and friendly, which made the experience even more special. They also went above and beyond to celebrate a birthday at our table, bringing out a dessert topped with festive sparkler-style fireworks that made the night unforgettable. Went to this place for dinner during my stay in Aruba. The place got a decent vibe and atmosphere. I ordered their lobster pasta and lamb shank. The food was served at good temperature. Taste was decent. The lamb meat was tinder and juicy but has some from improvement.

Amazing, amazing! Came here on a whim and it was totally worth it. Service was great, we made it in time for happy hour which is 5-7 and drinks were $7 with a decent selection. We had 5 different drinks. Food was also really delicious, we had the wagyu carpaccio, tuna tartare and lobster bisque for appetizers. For mains we had the steak tartare and the Gambas. I highly recommend the Gambas au Cognac which is a shrimp dish with rice pilaf. This place is fantastic. If you're not uptight about a cat running around and a shaky table (which they fixed for us when I brought it to their attention) you gotta eat here!

I was grumbling walking in, wanting initially to eat in an Italian restaurant, but I left gleefully gratified, sated with a satisfying meal. The entrance takes you into another world, though integrated very much into the surroundings of the vibrant Aruba scene. The lighting is dim and you feel as if you’re eating in a hideaway. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, with all the beginning parts of the dining experience — bread, water, drinks, etc, completely thoughtfully. Your waiter will not only repeat your order, he or she may also tell you what to expect in terms of the degree of spice, what sort of lobster will be served, the marinations, and the types of side dishes to expect. Our waiter also checked in with us, as did a manager or two. The meal moved along expeditiously, but it wasn’t rushed. It was just the right tempo. We had the meat and cheese boards combined — a special request that was easily accommodated. I loved the Mahi kebab. It was bountiful, flavored amazingly with a zesty but not too spicy ratatouille sauce. Get it! The apple crisp is an apple crisp without the fillers — flat, crispy, and flavorful, containing every aspect of an hearty apple tart though famous for its thinness, presented in a round shape for several to share. The bill is delivered to you just as the meal was: in a unique way. It arrives in a book — literally a book — leaving an impression on you, just as the rest of the dining experience.

This is easily the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. It was like the person that made the menu catered to exactly what my husband and I wanted to eat. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection, served beautifully, with exceptional service. The owner came by our table and was really nice and personable. You can tell he has passion for this place. The octopus is a MUST. It is cooked perfectly, so tender, and with the most delicious sauce. I had a paella and my husband had short rib. They were recommended by the staff. Both were excellent. Lots of options for seafood or meats, whatever you want to eat. The profiteroles were a perfect dessert to share. This is place is going to be really hard to beat. If you’re the island, don’t hesitate and go straight here for dinner.

Bohemian in Aruba is an absolute gem! From the moment you step into its lush, garden-like setting, you feel transported into a relaxed, chic paradise. The atmosphere is vibrant yet intimate — perfect for a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends. Yes there is a house cat that roams around, doesn't bother anyone, and is cute. And I don't even like cats! The food is simply outstanding — beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Every dish (gambas cognac, lobster bisque, steak tartar) we tried was delicious, and the cocktails were top-notch, crafted with creativity and flair. They have a $7 happy hour drink menu and its from 5-7pm! The service was just as impressive — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly without being overbearing. Bohemian is definitely one of the best dining experiences in Aruba — a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates great food, ambiance, and service!

Sunset Grille is the premier dining spot at the Hilton Aruba, offering an unforgettable culinary experience. The evening begins with delightful cocktails at the Mira Solo bar before indulging in a variety of delectable dishes. The menu, expertly explained by server Carlos, features options like a dry-aged porterhouse steak and blackened grouper.
View of the water in the distance, wind in the palm trees, and a sunset painted sky. Nice spot for dinner. They have just finished a complete renovation of this restaurant. We found the food to be pretty good. As usual in Aruba, everyone was very friendly. Service was very efficient. Cocktails from the menu were pretty good, but if you ordered off menu, they were just okay (which in fairness, is typical for a breach resort).

The Sunset Grill inside the Hilton which was built in 1959. We visited this restaurant in November 1977. Wow. Did the prices go up! But, all seriousness aside, it’s like visiting a Ruth’s Chris or Capital Grille and just as good in quality, service and ambiance. Go for the 10 oz filet for $68 vs 6oz for $60. Salmon was excellent cooked to order. Cauliflower steak awesome as well. At our age we probably will never be back but you never know.

This restaurant is located inside of the Hilton and it’s simply beautiful here. The view at sunset is really nice and the atmosphere is great as well. The food was a lot better than I expected (including items from the kids menu). One daughter had the chicken tenders and the other had a personal pizza. I tried both and was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality. My steak was delicious and my husband enjoyed his meal as well. A bit pricey but we enjoyed everything.

BLT Steak is a high-end chophouse located at The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba, offering a modern take on the classic American steakhouse experience. Chef Luis Malagon prepares signature dishes such as BLT blue fin tuna tartare, 28-day dry aged prime porterhouse for two, and sauteed dover sole.
I recently dined at Blt and was blown away by their truffle Mac and cheese and perfectly cooked steak. The Mac and cheese was rich and creamy with just the right amount of truffle flavor. The steak was cooked to perfection and had a beautiful sear on the outside. Amazing dessert, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious dinner.

when you factor in the price, this was a disappointing experience. the service was friendly but the quality of food is just not good. the popovers were nice and the seafood platter came with a good amount of crab, but my half was steak was overcooked, the patatas bravas weren't anything special, and the asparagus was undercooked and underseasoned.
Arthur C — Google review
Had a good dinner here. Staying at the hotel so it made sense just to try it. Porterhouse was nice. Food was excessively expensive but hey it’s at the Ritz. I enjoyed the experience.
Joshua S — Google review
My steak was a little undercooked, yet the portion massive so I had leftovers. Next day I noted a good hunk of it was almost raw and I had an upset stomach. I should have asked for some money back. The BBQ corn was really good but maybe a little spicy. We liked the atmosphere but noted a few guests wore baseball caps and were dressed as if they came off the beach. Loved the pop overs and the service. I’d rate 3.4 overall.

Our waiter Dennis went above and beyond, he was the sweetest and very knowledgeable. I loved the cowboy steak medium rare with the peppercorn sauce. The steak was very soft and melted. The Kansas steak was delicious as well but very different. It was a little more tougher. The truffle Mac and cheese was delicious. The onion rings were good but unnecessary. We did not get dessert but omg the menu sounded amazing! I enjoyed the 689 wine, it was dry and semi sweet.

Nothing was impeccable, but everything was good. We tried the scallops, poke tuna and oysters.
Annie K — Google review
Finally a 5* experience on this island! Where do I even start? First of all, the staff were great. Super nice and welcoming. The place was beautiful and clean. And the smell of the food walking in made you wanna sit down and order already. Wine selection was the only disappointing part, as I’d rather have other French vineyards holding a good Chardonnay (beside the Louis latour they’ve got which is my lease favorite one). The bread was exceptional. I’m not a bread person and don’t like bread. But that bread was unreal. The oysters were fresh, but not that great. The tuna tartar was fresh and nicely seasoned. Now the meat, we’ve ordered the porter house and the cowboy. The cowboy was phenomenal and made to perfection. Where there porter house was over cooked and needed to be changed to a new one. On the second time it was cooked correctly and was great. But the cowboy was 100 times better. The max & cheese and mash were so good that I couldn’t stop eating them! Will defo go back!

This establishment came recommended from Google based on ratings as one of Aruba’s best steakhouses. NOT! I was completely underwhelmed and disappointed. I ordered the Dover Sole (overpriced, overcooked and under seasoned), the sautéed green beans (overcooked and tasted like they had been sitting out all da. Not made to order fresh), Short ribs (tender, cooked well, under seasoned). The service was good, seated immediately, the ambience was relaxed and quiet and you’re given a Chef’s choice upon seating…we were offered Duck Liver Pate (it was decent). Overall very overpriced and food wasn’t great… except for the bread. They gave us a complimentary piece of cheesecake because we complained about the food, so I give them a 3 based on customer service NOT food.

Tiny cafe with good food. We had the bagel breakfast sandwich, the avocado toast and strawberry delight. The service was excellent, very attentive, we moved to a table outside with no problem:)

Dushi delicious is such a cozy spot if you are visiting Oranjestad, highly recommend this spot. The staff here was so friendly and the almond croissant is a must try! We loved it.

Our server Karina was incredible! She very clearly loved her job- and was passionate about where she worked. She was lively, funny, and so friendly. I could go on and on about her - come here just to meet her!! The food was delicious, came out quickly, and tasted fresh. My coffee was not exactly what I wanted- but I asked for a little extra caramel and she happily fixed it. Come here for breakfast or lunch! You will not be disappointed.

This place is absolutely amazing. It’s my first time in Aruba and I came out to meet my mom out here and she found this spot. Their sangria was absolutely delicious!!! And the painkiller tasted so yummy like pineapple. The atmosphere of this place is calming and amazing. Plants everywhere! The staff is so so so kind and amazing and they’re very patient and willing to give good recommendations on what to eat. Highly recommend this place. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
