Hotel
This 4-star hotel is located in the heart of Le Havre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has a family or business-related atmosphere, with high-quality equipment and services. Traditional restaurant, bar, family rooms, convivial workspaces and an excellent welcome - all of which make the stay at Mercure Hotel enjoyable. The hotel is situated near the Japanese garden and theatres in the city centre.
The location is excellent and the rooms are in excellent shape and large. The hotel has everything you need to explore Le Havre, Normandy and also Deauville, Honfleur and the surroundings. It is also very well priced.

Reception was very welcoming. Room fine. Shower a little dangerous as the floor got soaked from us using the over head. Felt safe? Not exactly. My friend and I were taking a nap after a day of walking around and our door was knocked and opened without giving us a chance to open the door and "room service" was called. This worried me as I was then anxious to sleep at night and wondered, what if they had caught me in the middle of something? Why enter my room without my permission! If you're delivering room service, I am sure you are told the ROOM NUMBER that you should be delivering too! An apology wasn't given either! Recommend - I guess, but LOCK YOUR DOORS! Breakfast- decent selection but nothing is labelled so you don't know what is what. Probably best to go out to eat.

Rooms where a bit old but the staff made a great stay. Al friendly and with a big smile. Breakfast was amazing, everything you needed was there. You can make your own egg in the morning 😁👍🏼. That was a super great experience. Our dog was more then welcome. Good hotel for a couple of days.

Not the first time at this hotel. Reception and lobby looks good. Breakfast is nice with good selection. Dinner is very disapointing. One server was welcoming. Staff has low knowladge in English language, makes it hard to comunicate. Some people do receive bread before dinner, but I wasnt one of them. Ordered duck breast for dinner, one of the worst dishes ever (24€). Chef though he was cooking chicken. Plate doesnt represent 4 star hotel Left half of the plate full, again staff did not care to ask if there was any issues with the dish. Most of the staff has an attitude, you can stand in front of the bar for hours, no one will welcome you. Staff smoking in front of the hotel also doesnt make it welcoming

Nice Hotel for an overnights stay. Simple and efficient. Clean and comfortable. Design is just OK. Some details make you feel that this is not a luxurious place. Exposed pipes in the bathroom, missing bathroom plug, big TV screen but it was not working during my stay and an empty mini fridge. In conclusion I ate and slept nicely. I would recommend it for a one night stay during travelling for business or travel if you are looking for an OK, clean place.

We looked forward to our stay, especially taking the spa and sauna after a long day of travelling. The staff told us it was not available, in fact, she was very rude when delivering the news. Usually, if there is unexpected maintenance, the staff should be at least polite, if they cannot offer anything (i.e. breakfast, room upgrade). The staff's stance toward you was really not pleasant. Also, the room's balcony did not close or open unless we moved the couch which was unexpected for this kind of hotel.
Jinyoung S — Google review
The facilities are in need of renovation. Many small things, like the condition of the furniture in the room and the general condition of the (very small) elevator does not inspire confidence. It's quite hot in the rooms, which have no air conditioning, and opening the window allows the city noise in along with cooler air. I did not sleep well. The bedsheets are not bad but have a high polyester content. Breakfast nook is quite pleased and the buffet breakfast is well stocked. It almost makes up for a night of bad sleep.
Derek H — Google review
Nice hotel centrally located. Quite comfortable. We had the privilege room that was very spacious with nice amenities like a Nespresso machine. Decor has been redone and modernised. It is quite visible downstairs with the funky lobby and bar. Rooms are modern too but one can see they were modernised and not totally redone. Some of the old features are still there. Unfortunately, the AC did not work very well. The hotel is on a big boulevard so opening a window may make the room noisy. Very friendly staff

Hôtel SPA du Pasino Partouche Le Havre offers top-notch rooms, spa, and services. The hotel features a large bedroom with a 6' bed and rear views of fountains and gardens. Guests can enjoy the spa facilities and impeccable services. Although the surface level car park may be rather full at times, finding a space is always manageable. However, some areas for improvement include poor lighting in certain areas and weak Wi-Fi signal strength.
(Translated by Google) I stayed the weekend of May 16/17/18, 2025. I don't understand the negative reviews. As a biker, I need parking for my motorcycle, and this was perfect. The reception was perfect. In the evening, since there is a Casino, there are security guards everywhere. The spa is impeccable and open for extended hours. Location right in the center. For my first stay at a Pasino, it was perfect. The room was clean. Not noisy. I would like to emphasize the helpfulness of the staff, which was excellent.

(Translated by Google) The welcome was warm and impeccable, and we discovered a room which, overall, was rather charming. However, as we paid closer attention, we quickly noticed some disappointing details. As soon as we arrived, looking down at the bed, we noticed white spots on the black blanket which serves as decoration. Although we hope it is toothpaste, this is still unacceptable for a 4 star establishment. The suspended ceiling light, which brings a beautiful warm atmosphere to the room, unfortunately spoiled this effect when a pile of dust fell on us while we were lying on the bed. Furthermore, we noticed the absence of slippers, which would have been useful for accessing the spa or simply moving around the room. Walking barefoot on a black carpet, undoubtedly very dirty (although this is not visible in this color), is far from pleasant, especially since everyone walks there in shoes. As for the water provided, it is presented in a large glass bottle, filled with tap water. Unfortunately, the quality of this water leaves something to be desired, which is unfortunate for this type of establishment. We also chose to dine there. Despite a restaurant that was not very busy, we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes to receive our starters, and another 40 minutes for the dishes. Although we opted for a full menu, the wait time ended up ruining our appetite, leaving us unable to have dessert. When we reported this to the staff, a young woman informed us that it was not possible to cancel the dessert, but that it could be offered to us as takeaway. However, the lack of a refrigerator in the room made this option impractical. That said, the view from the pool side remains magnificent and offers a very pleasant spectacle. Regarding the spa, the access and facilities are perfect: the water is heated to the ideal temperature, and we had an excellent time relaxing. Despite these inconveniences, we generally had a good time and slept well. We hope to return soon and note with optimism that these small points of improvement will have been taken into account to offer an experience worthy of the 4 stars displayed.

(Translated by Google) We recently stayed at the Pasino Hotel in Le Havre and were very disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. Upon arrival, we noticed a significant accumulation of dust on the furniture (see photos), which caused my wife to have an allergic reaction. For a hotel of this standard, this is unacceptable. We were hoping for a clean and tidy room, but the housekeeping was clearly inadequate. We hope the hotel will take steps to improve room maintenance, as this experience spoiled our stay. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone sensitive to dust or suffering from allergies.

(Translated by Google) Overall, a decent stay. We arrived early but couldn't check into our room earlier. We would have liked to have checked in at the scheduled time (3 p.m.) to have allowed the staff to properly clean the room (the trash wasn't emptied). Room overlooking the city. We heard every outside noise. Soundproofing seemed nonexistent, as did the blackout curtains, which let in daylight. Generous breakfast with a good selection. Nice casino. Casino sympa.

(Translated by Google) We stayed at this hotel from June 13th to 15th and had an absolutely disastrous experience, unworthy of a self-proclaimed 4-star establishment. From the very first night, we encountered an unacceptable hygiene problem: our bed was infested with dead flies, and a wasp was also in it. In the middle of the night, around 2:00 or 3:00 a.m., we had to contact reception, who moved us to another room. But this new room wasn't much better: there was a water leak in the floor, and what's more, it was a room designated for guests with reduced mobility, which didn't suit our reservation or our needs. The result: a sleepless night in unacceptable conditions. And the worst part is that we were not offered any kind of goodwill gesture. The manager, although informed of the situation, refused to do anything. There was no apology, no form of compensation. This is simply shameful. For a 4-star hotel, this kind of treatment is incomprehensible and absolutely does not reflect the expected level of quality. We are extremely disappointed, and this experience completely ruined our stay. As for breakfast, the hot buffet was cold, and hygiene left something to be desired. The top of the coffee machine was covered in a thick layer of dust, a dead fly on a table... and so on. We had a stomach bug. We didn't want to use the spa given the general condition of the hotel and to avoid catching illnesses or even infections. Nothing to do with the services described and other Partouche products. Complaint to the reception and the manager... No comment, it's a shame, unworthy of a 4-star hotel. I regret not having read the reviews before my stay. And when I read the responses to the comments, it saddens me even more because they are nothing but lies and unfulfilled remarks. On the other hand, nothing to say about the pleasant staff and the smiling and helpful housekeepers. As other guests indicated, the hygiene department should be contacted. Thank you to management for not responding to my comment to tell me that you regret it, that you will do everything possible with your teams... And so on. AVOID THIS HOTEL! (Translated by Google) From June 13th to 15th, I stayed at this hotel with my friends, and honestly, it's one of the worst establishments I've ever stayed in. As soon as we arrived, the smell of mold in the hallways hit us. In the room, the musty odor was just as unbearable. The worst part? The bed was infested with dead flies clinging to the ceiling and in the sheets, as well as hairs. A wasp was even found in the duvet the next day. How could anyone sleep in such conditions? It's a disgrace for a 4-star establishment. Around 3:00 a.m., we had to go down to reception to ask for a room change. The news wasn't any better: a water leak in the floor, and it was a room for people with reduced mobility, which didn't match our reservation at all. Hygiene-wise, everything was neglected: encrusted limescale at the bottom of the bathtub, black grout, and a questionable toilet seat. It was frankly disgusting. But what shocked us most was the manager's attitude. No empathy, no professionalism. He completely excused himself by claiming we had booked through Booking.com, as if that justified treating us like second-class customers. There was no gesture of goodwill, not even a word of apology, and he displayed a haughty attitude throughout the entire exchange. Worse still, he forced us to pay the tourist tax at the end, despite our sleepless night and the deplorable conditions. We were four young women, distraught, and felt like we were begging to be treated with a minimum of respect. This hotel deserves neither its stars nor its prices. I sincerely hope that hygiene checks will be carried out. Save your money and go elsewhere!!!

(Translated by Google) We spent one night at the Pasino Hotel in a Privilege Room. We were so excited to get there to disconnect and rediscover a different, relaxing, and, above all, high-end place. Having already dined at the restaurant several times, we expected the same standard, and even more so given the 4-star rating. In fact, even before setting foot there, we had considered staying for another 1 or 2 nights if we were satisfied. Unfortunately, the euphoria quickly subsided... an unpleasant odor upon entering the room, abundant dust on all the furniture in the room and on the bathroom floor, almost no shower gel, so we had to ask for more at reception, mold in the bathroom, which made it difficult to see every time we showered, and no desire to take a bath given the lack of cleanliness. We had to use our child's wipes to clean the surfaces again. No fridge, no slippers, no little touches to remind us that we're in a "4-star hotel" and in a privilege room. We're surprised that the rooms weren't inspected before our arrival. This would have allowed, for example, a restocking of shower gel and at least a quick dusting... A customer is still a customer, whether they stay for 1 night or 1 week, especially considering the price. If we wanted to spend some time at the Pasino, it's because we expected a different experience with the rigor worthy of a 4-star hotel, but that wasn't the case. We didn't even dare go to the spa area; our thinking being that if the room, which is an intimate space, left something to be desired in terms of cleanliness, it would probably be worse for a shared space. So maybe we're wrong, but instead of being on cloud nine and enjoying the moment, we were actually listing all the shortcomings. It's a shame for us; our experience at Pasino was very mixed, even disappointing.

Art museum
The Museum of Modern Art André Malraux, also known as MuMa, is a striking glass-walled gallery located at the end of Rue de Paris. Inaugurated in 1961, this modernist museum houses an extensive collection spanning five centuries of art, with a particular focus on Impressionist and Fauvist painters. The building's design features a cube of glass that faces the sea, allowing natural light to flood the space.
A lovely art gallery to visit, right on the seafront in Le Havre. Some very attractive impressionist paintings to view, including a couple of Monet, Renoir and Pissarro among others. A friendly welcome, nice little shop and useful free lockers and loos too

Really nice gallery. Not to big you can have a nice walk trough it and enjoy the art
Min T — Google review
It's really good. So many times I visited Le Havre, but it was my first time in MuMA. Exceptional collection of Boudin, some interesting pieces of Matisse, and, of course, Raoul Dufy, my love. Great accueil.
Oksana S — Google review
Art museum was about an hour or so walk through. Most of the writings about the paintings were in French, so used a translator to read the ones I cared about. A lot of the art work had audible recordings if you choose to go that route. First time here and possibly my last, as we’re from the US. So took this opportunity to view some recognized artwork with my own two eyes. Very surreal if you stop and think about the history you’re staring at.
Joseph P — Google review
Small regional museum. The collection is big but only a small number of paintings are displayed in a single large room on the first floor. Also the lights through the large windows are difficult with the sun outside. Only 1hour for the full tour of the permanent collection.

Small but compact. It is one of the most interesting places I have visited. Photography amazing and matching paintings of scenes with actual photos. The history of photography is so interesting. Must see on your list.

If you like impressionist art, this is a perfect museum. It has some modern art as well. The cafe seems to be a great place for lunch. It was very busy when we were there.
Mary A — Google review
Very interesting museum with friendly staff. Some lesser known impressionist works as well as some well known ones such as Renoir and Pissaro. Also some works that were curiously not at all modern. The restaurant is also very good value for an excellent three course lunch. We went on a Friday which seemed to serve a reduced price menu. Lovely sea views.

The Hotel Spa Le Pasino is a contemporary gaming and leisure venue in the heart of Le Havre. The hotel offers guests rooms with flat-screen televisions, modern showers, and views of the harbour. The spa provides an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, and a casino.
Very nice hotel with a small casino but has everything you need if you like to play. There is a huge slots selection and only 1 Black Jack table. 1 Roulette and couple of other card tables.

My wife and I had a great 2 night stay at the Pasino hotel complex for our 3rd wedding anniversary. The staff were excellent and made our stay feel special. Thank you for your kind considerations.

Alessio Risso, the director of the hotel, was very professional, and although we made the mistake of booking 3 nights, even though we meant to stay for one, he graciously refunded our Expedia reservation.

It’s a very value for money place. They have everything inside from food to gym to spa & treatment. The location is also very good, just in front of the bridge of la havre which looks like extremely beautiful and specially during night (if you have window facing the bridge). The brasserie also is good, with a nice view to the bridge. And having casino at this price is also good. It’s not very far from the gare also (15 min by walk). Tram connects well to la plage also (tram stop just 5 mins walk from hotel). The staff were also friendly. The only improvement feedback is that they should focus on customer intimacy and services.. It’s really clean in general but it’s not a extremely new property so you can see the difference.

A really nice hotel. Very friendly personel. Room was very comfortable. Only con was the lights from outside who shine on the building during the night. If you wake up, you think for a second that is daylight. Curtains are blackout curtains. This place has a casino, buffet breakfast, bistro, spa, pool and private parking. If the parking is full, you can park at the spots on the street, which is free between 17:00 and 09:00, and Sundays. The front side of the hotel views the water and bridge. The breakfast contains fresh juices, pancakes, different kinds of bread, fruit, yoghurt, coffee/tea. In my opinion, it is not a place for kids.

Location was off-centre, but perfect for out client visit. Nice neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants and cafés (unfortunately most weer closed on a monday night). The rooms were clean, specious, and I had a nice view on part of the city. Breakfast was limited in choice, but good in quality (€17). I did not use any of the (nice-looking) facilities, which include spa, gym, bar, bistro, and casino.
Sven H — Google review
The room is very nice, the view of the canal is very pretty. The only problem we had was the shower head was leaking from the side which was a little annoying. The "AC" was a classic European "AC" the window does open so that was a life safer. But still hot
Phillip L — Google review
I spent a nice time there, the spa especially was really nice. But in the breakfast room, there were birds eating part of the pastries that were given to customers after. I have seen it multiple times on 3 different days. Seems dirty and dangerous.

Le George V is a charming and pleasant restaurant with various and varied menu options. The staff is extremely nice, and the cleanliness is well-maintained. While the portions are described as small by some, the food is praised for its delicious taste. The restaurant offers professional service and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a highly recommended dining spot. Additionally, it stands out for being open on Monday lunchtime.

(Translated by Google) Honestly very disappointed. The service was slow even though the restaurant was almost empty. The dishes arrived cold and tasteless, we clearly feel that quality is not a priority here. The staff was not particularly welcoming either, bordering on unpleasant. Honestly, for the price, I expected a lot better. I do not recommend and I will not set foot there again. Hotel Le Petit Vatel is a casual property situated in the heart of Le Havre, just a short walk from attractions like Salle de spectacle Le Volcan and Appartement temoin Perret. Guests can enjoy additional services including babysitting, tour assistance, and ticket purchase support. My wife and two young daughters stopped here for a night. Its a really nice place. The decor is very fresh. The staff are incredibly helpful and the breakfast was really tasty. The beds are conformable and the central location of the hotel is very handy for exploring the wonderful Le Havre.

Very cozy hotel in marine theme. Only 2 stars rooms are nice and hygiene is good. We have been here with our 2 kids who had a separate room which was nice. Breakfast was simple but fits the needs. Owner is very nice, we even had to call him at night because our daughter became sick but he remained very kind and caring. Would definitely recommend this for a couple of nights.

I was skeptic about staying at a 2 star hotel but it was very charming. Super well located. We did not have breakfast in, but it looked pretty good. As it was a local holiday there was barely anybody around.at the reception, but it was not an inconvenient. It was clean and nice. Cool decoration too.

Good value money hotel. Very clean and efficient check in/check out. Wi-Fi is working fine. Location is very convenient and you can park you car for free on the street from 9 to 9. Good for one night if you are stopping in le Havre. Room is very small and night can be very hot. You can also hear other room tv audio.

The University of Le Havre is located in a friendly and welcoming environment, with Crous housing conveniently close by. The Eco Management program offers interesting courses with a focus on Marketing and the international environment. Additionally, the university is part of the Normandy University group, offering various fields of study. It also has a Faculty of International Affairs that provides quality education. Whether you're interested in academics or just exploring the area, this university offers a lot to enjoy.
It's a group of Normandy University. You can find different teaching fields. I was doing research on collaboration with a professor from this university. Pretty cool.

(Translated by Google) I did my master's degree in iwocs (computer science) at this university, and I can say several years later that the course presents problems, in particular: - Mathematics subjects take up too much space in the first two years (License 1 and 2); - Chaotic algebra teaching, I invested too much time working on this subject with a high coefficient to the detriment of object-oriented programming and other subjects more important to me, for unfairly harsh and unequal grading between students; - Essential notions for today's professions, in particular everything related to frameworks, both skimmed over and done in haste (3 weeks of symphony in master's degree and that's it, I'm not kidding!) - DUT students who arrive after the second year with a large head start on us which is felt throughout the master's degree, which is really discouraging. These are all reasons why if you want to invest in the field of IT development it is better to choose a more targeted diploma. Many highlight the offer in this sector but the reality is quite different. Offers are occasional and demand is high. Employers demand far too much mastered technology and a high number of years of experience. It ended up disgusting me. As it stands, the qualifications provided by my master's degree do not allow me to overcome the problem. I currently work in an e-commerce branch of which development represents only a small part. I must still note some notable positive points, such as: - The person who teaches databases who is the most educational, I really enjoyed learning and progressing in this subject; Unfortunately, it is impossible to find a data analyst position in Normandy, I would have liked to move in this direction; - Fairly solid teaching in Object Oriented Programming; Regarding university life I have nothing to say, I really liked it, I met a lot of people and even if they part ways, especially after the degree, it will have been memorable moments. Sports activities available nearby, with volunteer and dedicated teachers, a library rich in documentation, isolated rooms and open spaces to work quietly, the places are clean. A university restaurant that I tested for a while, with a price that I found high (pre-covid period) when you live with the means of a student and numerous testimonies where you would have seen better in the IUT or the university of Rouen.. Currently, I am taking language studies alongside my current job, it's really not bad, I must still point out the dark point where the international business site sells DU language courses as being designed to be accessible to employees, which is only true for the first year. Afterwards, you have to be available in the middle of the day. Cela a fini par me dégoûter.

Prepare for lecture halls with no insulation (very fun in winter), with rotting ceilings. Student life is almost nonexistent, with no special events (except Pride). The CVEC (Cultural College of Education) is still so expensive, but what for? Regarding the courses... Kudos to some professors for accepting such basic working conditions. At least the library is really nice! Appart'hôtel Odalys City Le Havre Centre Les Docks is a modern apartment hotel located near the train station and the Docks shopping center in Le Havre, France. The rooms and studios are comfortable, modern, and clean with good amenities. Despite being on a busy avenue, the rooms remain calm and unaffected by outside noise.
The breakfast was one of the best I ever had. It was simple, similar to other hotel breakfasts, but the quality was way over the bar. Everything was very fresh and tasty, Croissant and Pain au chocolate were one of the best in my life - amazing dough.

New Aparthotel in Le Havre, recommend! -Very nice front desk staff, speak good English, always polite and helpful. Lobby is modern and nice. Check-in/out are flexible! -Hotel is very new, clean and nicely renovated, very well equipped kitchen to cook, bed and blanket are very comfortable, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, safe, and with more amenities comparing to other Aparthotels I stayed before in France. -Location is great, walking distance to the train station, McDonald's is right next door and Les Docks shopping center is right cross the street where you would find Lidl supermarket and restaurants, center is about 10-15 mins walk. Unfortunately, there is only one elevator for both customers and cleaning ladies, so we had to wait quite some time in the lobby for the elevators to come. No Netflix or YouTube for those days we stayed (back in Oct 2023) since the hotel was still working on the network, but WIFI works perfectly.
