Lunch restaurant
Brass Boer Restaurant Bonaire is a top-notch dining destination on the island, offering a culinary experience that rivals Michelin-starred establishments. Owned by renowned chefs Jonnie and Therese Boer, known for their 3 Michelin-starred restaurant De Librije in the Netherlands, this upscale eatery at Delfins Beach Resort presents an innovative menu that combines Caribbean ingredients with European influences.
My boyfriend and I were thrilled to dine at Brass Boer Bonaire for lunch, having already experienced its sister location in Curaçao. This spot is loved by locals and island vacationers, so reservations are a must. Located in Punt Vierkant on the southwestern side of Bonaire, Brass Boer is part of the stunning Delfins Beach Resort. The restaurant is the creation of husband-and-wife duo Jonnie and Thérèse Boer, who are passionate divers and Dutch culinary innovators. With additional locations in Zwolle and Curaçao, their signature style blends modern techniques with local ingredients to create an unforgettable dining experience. While the menu isn’t identical to the Curaçao location, there are familiar flavors with twists. The standout for us was the Dairy Cow Rib Steak, aged for six weeks and served with a perfectly executed Béarnaise sauce and crispy frites—a dish made for sharing. For dessert, the Thai Green Curry Sorbet stole the show. It’s an unusual mix of savory and sweet, featuring banana, basil, ginger beer, and pandan—a truly creative and refreshing finale. If you visit, don’t miss the chance to book Table 14, an extraordinary dining spot with multiple layers of charm. Table 14 is a palapa, surrounded by gentle waves and breathtaking views, seats up to six people and holds a special connection to football legend Johan Cruyff. Decorated with plaques inscribed with his famous sayings and a table with his portrait. To tribute to his legacy, a portion of your bill at Table 14 is donated to the Johan Cruyff Foundation, which supports sports projects for children and youth worldwide. Brass Boer Bonaire offers more than just a meal—it’s a celebration of flavor, culture, and community. Whether you're a foodie, a football fan, or simply someone who loves a unique dining experience, this is a must-visit destination on Bonaire.

Easily a five star restaurant complimented by a chic modern resort. The innovative cuisine, stylish presentation, and attentive service creates an exceptional dining experience.
Ashley H — Google review
Beautiful location and great atmosphere. We had the 6-course Brass Boer menu with wine pairing (4 wines). Food was good and the service very friendly, but nothing really surprised us. The wines were fine, but at $23.50 per glass the pricing is absurd – basically double the price of a bottle. With two aperitifs, two menus, one full wine pairing, one half wine pairing and a coffee, the bill came to $535, which doesn’t match the overall experience. Still, the location and atmosphere remain a wonderful experience.

WOW!!! What an amazing experience sitting at Table 14. The entire staff went above and beyond for celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary!!! The food was outstanding and the wine pairings are over the top!!’ I strongly urge everyone to visit this amazing establishment!!!

The food was excellent…exceeded expectations. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bonaire.

This restaurant y'all was an experience from start to finish. The quality of the food was phenomenal and well timed! The Brass Boer was suggested to us by another chef on the island and it didn't disappoint! We did the chefs tasting menu, it was five courses and each dish was prepped fresh, explained well and tasted fabulous! They had a wonderful cocktail menu and several mocktails as well. The service was also top notch!
Morgan H — Google review
Beautiful restaurant, outstanding food, wonderful staff. Can't really praise this place enough, the attention to detail is what you expect from a proper fine dining restaurant, and I have to say that Brass Boer is the only place on the island where we experienced this. We ordered every item (less one) off the a la carte menu plus four oysters and desserts, and it was the perfect amount of food for the two of us. The only somewhat negative thing I have to say is that the flavours between many dishes were quite similar (lots of curries) and it would have been nice to have more distinct variations between dishes. But I also understand that we didn't do the actual tasting menu and a la carte dishes aren't really meant to be ordered the way that we did it.
Tyler Y — Google review
From the ocean side setting, professional service and of course the very unique culinary offerings, you can't go wrong. We split between the 6 course and alacarte to get a full experience and it was perfect. The dishes that are "known fors" are all wonderful, including the sour dough. My only knock was I was expecting the gin and tonic to be served European style ( gin in glass, tonic on side), so when it came mixed and a bit watered down for my taste it was a bit disappointing.

Restaurant
Located in a century-old traditional home with a stunning seafront setting, It Rains Fishes is an urban-chic restaurant that offers impeccable service and a diverse menu featuring grilled local fish. The establishment even has its own seafood market outside. Open for lunch on weekdays, the restaurant serves Dutch-style sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and fish and chips. It's a great spot downtown to enjoy views of the boats on the water while indulging in fresh seafood.
We had an amazing time here. We had dinner and it was very good. We tried the tuna and the sea salad. For main we had the seafood spaghetti and the catch of the day. The white sauce is so amazing. The cocktails are also very nice. We totally recommend it.

This place is amazing. One of the owners walks around and makes sure everything is just right while the other owner is in the kitchen creating masterpieces. I sat at the bar and had Robert, the bartender, for my waiter. Very friendly and professional. For dinner I had the Prix Fixe Chef's Special and everything was just delicious. Highly recommended.

We were here during the Bonaire Culinaire menu period. We ordered a few cocktails when we arrived. I had a Moscow Mule and my girl had a Mojito. Both were very tasty and mine was made properly woth ginger beer instead of ginger ale. i hade the Smoked Tuna as an appetizer. My girlfriend had the carpaccio, fish trio as a main together with the chicken curry and chocolate mouse as desert. It was a 10 out of 10. Very nice staff and very helpful.

This is our first visit to Bonaire and the villa owner recommended a series of restaurants on the island, It Rains Fishes being one of them. We had the most romantic sunset dinner with the ocean’s horizon just across the street. From the minute we arrived for our reservation the service was excellent - the hostess, our wait staff - everyone was warm and attentive. The decor is lovely with just the right amount of lighting. Our dishes were quite delicious, perfect portions and the price point was ideal for the quality of the whole experience. We are in Bonaire for 10 days and we’ve already planned to return here to dine again before we leave. Reservations highly recommended- this place is a treasure, but not a secret treasure ☺️

Drinks and food were spectacular!! We absolutely recommend going! As if Manhattan was in the Dutch Caribbean 🍸🥃 We enjoyed the atmosphere, service and the delicious rum drinks, Manhattan, mushroom risotto and shrimp main course! The cheese plate for dessert changes weekly, highly recommend! 🧀

The food was yummy, the cocktails & wine were great and the staff was amazing, perfect combination! Will definitely go eat there again!
Kim D — Google review
We were super excited to try this place after seeing wonderful videos, reading rave reviews and even our taxi driver suggesting it. We ran into a big disappoint when my wife was asking for her steak to be cooked "medium well and preferably with a dark char on outside" even stated it could go more to the wellness side of the scale if it got more of a sear/char. The waiter quickly informed her that the chef was "very good and didn't like to be told how to do things" . If you don't want people telling you the doneness level of their steak, you probably shouldn't have it on the menu. The steak came out rare! She pointed this out to the server. He blamed other staff that someone else took the plate meant for her. He took the steak back to the kitchen to get it corrected. It still came out on the rare/medium rare side of the scale. Don't get me wrong, this is how I prefer my steak... however, I understand the people out there who have a mental block at seeing red meat. I respect different palates and preferences. The original server disappeared and we began to be taken care of by a very friendly female. My wife couldn't eat her entrees and was just over it at this point. I think the original interaction with the server left a bad taste in her mouth (no pun intended) . We cruise a lot and will even be back before the end of the year. Not sure this place will remain on our radar. I was sincerely disappointed after the rave reviews. I am a huge foodie that loves trying new spots everywhere we go. It saddens me when a topped suggestion lets you down.

Incredible food outstanding service. We were there during gourmet week and their specials were so good that I'd say it was the best meal we have ever had on Bonaire. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!!!!

Restaurant
At Sea Restaurant in Bonaire is a picturesque seaside dining destination known for its leisurely atmosphere and creative culinary offerings. Chef Jeroen and Tiffany have curated a menu featuring locally and globally sourced ingredients, offering an array of seafood, steak, and vegetarian dishes. Guests can savor enticing small plates like ceviche lionfish or truffle risotto, indulge in multicourse feasts with optional wine pairings, or opt for special menus tailored for kids and vegans with advance notice.
My boyfriend and I were thrilled to snag last-minute reservations at At Sea, a gem perfectly situated near the cruise pier and ChaChaCha Beach with breathtaking sunset views. The ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. We opted for the all-in five-course surprise menu, and every dish was a delight. The standout for us was the Beef Wellington, cooked to perfection and paired with a smoky, crusted whipped potato that elevated the dish to the next level. The thoughtful variety of pairings was equally impressive, including a memorable wine from the Betuwe region that added to the experience. At Sea exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return on our next visit. Highly recommended!
Tanyia J — Google review
At Sea is an underrated gem, a superb restaurant that greatly exceeded my expectations. I've been to dozens of Michelin starred restaurants around the world, and I think At Sea deserves a Michelin star. On our first visit, we had the 6-course "Surprise Menu" with the wine pairing. In the US, we're accustomed to seeing this called a "prix fixe" menu, or "omakase" if Japanese. We were certainly pleasantly surprised at every dish! There were actually 3 precourses, various small bites that were all very enjoyable, and paired well with a glass of Champagne. Then the real magic started. Each of the 6 dishes was exquisite — delicious, beautiful, creative, and complex. And each of the 6 wines was thoughtfully paired with the food and complemented it well. And the chef/owner, Jeroen van der Steen, personally came out to serve and explain each dish and wine pairing. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Jeroen mentioned that if we were to return and have the Surprise Menu again, every dish and every wine pairing would be different. So we returned two days later, and once again we were surprised and wowed! One standout dish was a ceviche made from locally hand caught lionfish, served with mango and tarragon, perfectly paired with a Verdejo from Rueda. Another standout dish was an incredibly tender sous vide short rib, paired with a very nice Gamay from Régnié in Beaujolais. The progression from light dishes to heavy dishes, then cheese and dessert, was just right. And once again, Jeroen cheerfully served and explained each dish and wine pairing. There are many restaurants that serve a good multi course prix fixe menu. Few of them have such a thoughtful wine pairing. But nobody we've ever seen before can come up with a completely different menu just for us, the way Jeroen did. And in big cities where one might normally find such an experience, I would expect the price to be far more than the $165 (per person) I paid for 7+ courses with wine pairings. It was low season on Bonaire, which explains why Jeroen was able to give us so much personal attention. But we think his restaurant is extraordinary, and he deserves to be busier. We didn't order anything off the regular menu, which I'm sure would be a fine experience as well. If you want a fabulous fine dining experience, with attentive service, an ocean view, and very reasonable prices, don't miss At Sea!
Kemin T — Google review
Absolutely phenomenal. Our dinner at At Sea on Bonaire was easily one of the most memorable culinary experiences we've had in years. My wife and I opted for the 6-course surprise menu with the wine pairing, and from the very first bite to the last sip, it was an unforgettable evening that struck the perfect balance between elegance, creativity, and genuine hospitality. Each course felt like a carefully curated story, imaginative yet approachable, using bold Caribbean flavors in refined, modern ways. The pacing was spot on, and the portions were generous enough to satisfy, yet left us eager for the next reveal. Every dish came out beautifully plated and explained with care. You could sense the pride and craftsmanship in every element. And then there was the wine pairing. Not just an afterthought, but a masterclass in complementing flavors. The sommelier’s selections surprised us in the best way possible, with each glass enhancing the food in unexpected but delightful ways. It wasn’t just pairing, it was a dialogue between plate and glass. The ambiance was relaxed and upscale, with a peaceful garden setting and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic, which only elevated the experience. If you're looking for a dinner that celebrates fine dining without the fuss, something truly special, At Sea is a must. We left inspired, completely satisfied, and already talking about when we’ll be back.

We had a wonderful experience at At Sea Restaurant! The lobster bisque was even better than expected – rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Our host Jeroen was superb and made the evening extra special with his attentive and friendly service. The setting, atmosphere, and ambiance were truly unique, creating the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal. The garlic shrimp was absolutely delicious, and every plate was beautifully presented. Overall, an exceptional dining experience that we highly recommend.
Grossett T — Google review
I had a really lovely time at At Sea. I ordered their surprise tasting menu: six courses of creative, beautifully presented dishes. Combined with delicious wine pairings, ambiance, and a friendly staff, it was a truly spectacular experience. If you’re a foodie or someone who appreciates the art behind fine dining, I would highly recommend.
Mark G — Google review
We did the 6-course Christmas dinner chefs tasting menu and it knocked our socks off. Situated on a fairly busy street, across from the water, and under a white event tent, At Sea outperforms it's environment when it comes to both food and service. Our expectations were exceeded by the friendly and attentive staff and the imaginative, palate pleasing dishes. It's expensive but well worth it if you love food and have an open mind.
Corrie D — Google review
At Sea is such a gem! The food is creative and delicious, with local ingredients given a fun European twist. The wine pairings are fantastic and really make the meal special. If you go for the surprise menu, you’ll get to try a bit of everything and with the wine pairing, it’s a real treat. The spot is just outside the center, which makes it perfect for a relaxed and quiet dinner.
Ewa K — Google review
We really enjoyed it! We had 6 courses with wine pairing. Every dish was delicious and unique. Shout out to the chefs. We read their story prior to going there, that actually was the reason we chose that place. Highly recommend!

La Cantina, located in the heart of Kralendijk, is a Latin American-inspired restaurant that offers a diverse menu to cater to various tastes. The culinary team prepares daily specials using the freshest seasonal ingredients, with a focus on seafood from the Fish Market featuring freshly caught fish from local fishermen. The restaurant boasts a cozy café at the front and a beautiful courtyard at the back where guests can enjoy their meals.
This was by far the best dining experience we had on the island, with food and service quality comparable to New York City. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff kindly congratulated us. The portions were meant for individual, so it is best to order couple of dishes if you prefer to share. We enjoyed the tuna tartare, steak, and the catch of the day, which was tuna. You truly can't go wrong with tuna in Bonaire. The margarita was one of the best I’ve ever had. Instead of dessert, we opted for the “delicious coffee”, which was absolutely dreamy. The setting in the garden was beautiful and romantic, making our meal even more special. Go there early to sample the fresh catch!
Cindy W — Google review
Delicious food, great beer, friendly service! La Cantina is a restaurant and brewery combined! Reservations are a must especially for dinner. Limited seating at the brewery. Highly recommend this place. They brew a great blonde beer. One of the best draft beer blonds I have tasted. Interior decoration is lovely. Red snapper fish was delicious along with the jerk chicken. I will be back in a heartbeat!

A hidden gem with chill vibes and incredible food! 🌿🍔🍻 My girlfriend and I stopped by for lunch and had an amazing experience. Stan was our waiter—super friendly and helpful, which made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is on point—think laid-back 90s R&B and hip hop playing in the background while you relax in what feels like a tropical botanical garden. You can choose to sit inside, but the outdoor seating is something special. I had a german draft beer called Weihenstephaner smooth, fruity, and super refreshing. For food, we went with the Brewery Burger and the Pulled Pork Sandwich… both were absolutely delicious. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly made. No complaints at all. This place is a solid 10/10 and one of the best lunch spots we’ve discovered in a long time. Definitely coming back!

One of the best restaurants of the island. Super nice beer’s! The food is amazing and the staff is very kind. You can enjoy your drinks and food in the pub area or the garden! They have their own beer as well. Very tasty! They serve also Dutch and Belgium classic beers.

We booked for that evening. They were very responsive throw WhatsApp for the booking. They have tens of beers to choose from. The cocktails are very good. We had tuna tartar and white fish ceviche. Both were amazing in quantify and taste. For main we had the ribeye with fries. Loved the vibe of the restaurant.

We really enjoyed visiting here! We got to know the staff during our dive trip and also enjoyed the great beer and food. Try the fish burger with fries, and the nachos with pulled pork. Bonaire Blonde is their flagship beer but you must also try the Trippel Karmeliet.

Sebastian's Restaurant Bar & Lounge is a renowned dining spot in Bonaire, offering a delightful gourmet experience with breathtaking oceanfront views. The restaurant has two locations, one in downtown Bonaire and the other in Sorobon, each providing a unique ambiance. Guests can relish Mediterranean-inspired dishes featuring fresh seafood and local influences. The Pier Table at Sebastian's is highly coveted for its romantic setting, making it essential to book well in advance for an unforgettable sunset dining experience.
The food here is superb. We went here two different times during our stay. The scenery was amazing. Eating dinner on the dock and watching the sunset is quite the experience. The food was amazing. The Italian night had a great selection of dishes. The wahoo was fresh, the salad was fresh, and the pizza was made nice and thin. The other night, the fish trio was amazing, prepared and fresh, having snapper, corvina, and barracuda. The dessert was also quite flavorful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside to this place is the mosquitos that bite you through your dinner experience, that unfortunately is part of the outdoor dining experience.
Adam — Google review
We had made a reservation for this place, as it was recommended to us by a friend who lives on the island. We came here our first night in Bonaire to enjoy dinner and sunset. We were the first to arrive at 5pm, when they open and were immediately sat. We ordered sparkling water and eventually a bottle of white wine. The wine was good but nothing unique. We were offered bread with olive oil and sea salt (not local salt but still good). It was nice but nothing special. We ordered the octopus carpaccio and local fish trio. The octopus was good but not a sizable portion to be a shareable. The fish trio, which is a main dish, was only enough for one person. It was okay but a local fish was overcooked. The puréed sides for it was nice. We were going to order more dishes, but felt the pricing was a bit too steep for the sizing and opted to grab a small bite later on somewhere else instead. The best reason to come here is for an appetizer and cocktails as you watch the sunset. We really loved our pier experience and felt the table offered great views, especially just being seated for two people. We were able to watch the sunset with a very great view. After the sun sets, they light up the pier, and you get clear views of fish, like tarpon, swimming around through the clear water. A fun thing to see for sure. While I would recommend coming here, I do feel the need to say that while the views are great, the servers are smiling/nice, the food portions for the price are not worth it. Get a plate of something like mussels and a drink and go some else for your dinner.
Lauren W — Google review
Perfect restaurant for those looking for a calm dinner by the sea, with an unforgettable sunset as the backdrop. We ordered fish, which was fresh and delicious. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake, so tasty!! Peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Recommended making a reservation to secure a spot in the pier.
Sandra F — Google review
We have been to this place a couple times while visiting the island and it is a favorite of ours. Definitely make a reservation for the pier and go just before sunset to see the gorgeous view. We had the daily drink special which was a passion fruit/vanilla vodka drink. It was very good and had fresh ingredients which you could tell. I would probably pick a different appetizer for next time. We had the ciabatta with three dips. There were only five small chunks of ciabatta for the dips. The dips were good but not much content of this dish for the price. Our meal; I had the truffle fettuccine and he had the chickpea curry (vegan). The curry was ok; nothing to get excited about. The fettuccine was amazing. Homemade noodles and beautiful truffles. It was so good. Dessert was also quite nice, homemade Snickers bar and crème brûlée. Overall a very good dinner with a spectacular view.

Valentines Day Friday 2025 Arrived for 530 reservation. Left and paid bill by 825. 3 hours for dining on a Friday for Valentines Day Dinner. Service is slow and kitchen is even slower. It took 15 minutes to get our dinner menu but that’s how they operate. It took one hour between appetizer and main course to receive food. Even though service is slow the waiters did a good job nonetheless. Special Valentines Day 5 Course Menu Tuna Tartare - delicious Tomato soup- flavorful Fettuccine - salty Steak - found servers hair in it, sent it back, steak returned undercooked Love cake - good passion fruit Trio fish: good sampler of varcuda, red snapper and unknown fish with potatoes puree Best part of the restaurant are the views. Beautiful ocean atmosphere while eating tasty prepared food. If you are in a time crunch do not come here. Reservations required!

What an awesome find for our 20th anniversary. The staff was pleasant and friendly. They were accommodating and knowledgeable with the menu and drink selection. Our meal was delicious. Lobster bisque. Seafood trio. Truffle linguini. And Mixture of delicious deserts. Sebastian’s made this very special for us! A definite restaurant for your stay on Bonaire. We are looking forward to our next trip.
Karen Y — Google review
I came here for a wedding rehearsal dinner with about 30 people. I thought that I had seen beautiful sunset views in Bonaire, but woah - the ambiance here was next level!! We sat at the end of the pier and the sunset was enchanting. And it remained insanely beautiful once the sky got dark because they lit up the pier and we could see massive fish swimming beneath us! We had absolutely delightful appetizers, entrees, and desserts. All of the food was displayed beautifully and we felt very fancy. The meal took about 3.5 hours, which felt like it was longer than necessary, but that could just be the American in me who is used to quicker meals. I will definitely come back here in future trips to Bonaire!
Renee R — Google review
We ate here on our first night. Most of the crowd was older than us, except the servers. It was fun watching the sunset, and they light up the dock underneath. Lots of barracuda were attracted to the light, and that was fun to watch. I was content with this place, but it wasn't a wow.... Granted, I was heavily jetlagged... so that likely played a part, but I didn't feel inclined to go back.

Capriccio is an Italian restaurant located on the western shore of Bonaire. There is seating both inside and outside. Outside seating offers a nice view of the harbor. I must say that my initial impression was not favorable. Our reservation was for 6:30 and we arrived 10 minutes or so early only to find a closed sign on the door. A man came out of the restaurant and we told him of our reservation and he said yes - we open at 6:30 went back in and locked the door! So we walked around for 15 minutes, came back and were seated in a cramped alcove with another couple while there were 20+ nice, empty tables were available. We asked if we could be reseated and after serious discussions between 4 or 5 of the staff we were! I was ready to leave but my dear wife smiled and said the new table was fine - and it was. Whew. After that it was a 5 star experience all the way. Our server was personable and professional. The drinks (Negroni for me, Amaretto colada for my wife) were delicious and strong (rare for the island). The food was delicious (see photos). We had a half liter of a house red that was very good and not chilled! Also unusual for Bonaire. Some nice touches were a bread basket with 4 types of bread served with a wonderful herb butter and a pre dinner salad. I would strongly recommend reservations. We did see several parties turned away who did not have them.

Really, really good food, starting with the carpaccio which is probably my favorite ever. Because we said we were sharing it they brought it out on two plates. The truffle mayo tasted great and not nearly as fake as is usual, but the star of the show was the big pieces of pecorino. The meatball appetizer, with a little kick, was big enough for dinner for my wife and I had the fettuccine. The pasta was fresh as you would expect from a better restaurant, the sauce creamy and the portion size reasonable. Service was a little slow as they were very busy but nothing to complain about. Make a reservation. We were able to get what must have been one of the last tables on a Saturday night in shoulder season by calling a couple hours in advance, but I wouldn't chance just showing up.

The staff was welcoming and accommodating. We were trying to squeeze in one last family meal prior to our flight back to California and they were very understanding. The five of us enjoyed our meals including their handmade pizza Ortolana. They also make lovely cocktails. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Bonaire is one of the top culinary islands we have been too! We will be back to Capriccio the chef is very talented and the menu is simple yet packs a delicious punch. The bread is all made from scratch that morning, it tastes phenomenal! All of the pasta is also made from scratch! We were so lucky that they had fresh tuna on the menu caught that day it was fantastic. I do wish service would have been more attentive to drink refills but other than that it was a great experience and we will be back!

I had an amazing dinner here – The wine list is impressive, with great choices at every price point, and the service was spot on. What really makes this place stand out is the price-quality ratio: top-notch food and wine for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
Senna K — Google review
Great food, good portion, a lot of wine choices, restaurant is a bit small, the tables are too closed to each other, inside is a bit noisy
T D — Google review
The food is extraordinary as are the cocktails and the wine list. The daily specials are a wonderful addition to an already amazing menu. Our server was very attentive and personable. I’ll dine at Capriccio every visit to Bonaire, it’s an amazing experience.

Oh boy, pretty much the best restaurant with a fair price tag. Chef is walking through the restaurant to check with every customer if they enjoy the food, a big plus. The menu is not that big which is also a good sign. We ate 3 times at capriccio and it was always a pleasure to be there! Recommend the pasta, gnocchi and starter salad with shrimps(which was delicious). Combines with some excellent wine, this place is a must visit. Downside? They are not open on Monday and Tuesday 🙁 You have to make a reservation though

Kite City Food Truck, previously located at Kite Beach and now situated at Te Amo Beach, offers a delightful beach experience with its sandy shores and picturesque sunsets. The food truck prides itself on serving up fresh and delectable dishes such as salads, wraps, burgers, and seafood platters made from locally caught fish. Their specialty tuna burgers are particularly popular among visitors seeking a quick yet satisfying meal after a day of activities like diving.
We love Kite City so much that we had them cater a meal for us at our home while family was in town. It was beyond amazing. We had Barracuda, Tuna, Octopus, rainbow runner, Wahoo and more! Everyone loved the meal. Food was seasoned well, ceviche delicious, Tuna so fresh! What a memorable experience for us!

Do yourself a favour and try this place. Nuno and André are great on what they do. We liked it so much that we came back. You won’t have fresher fish anywhere in the island. We had the tuna burger and the white fish burger on the first time. Just sat at the beach and enjoyed our meal. The second time we had the two fish salad and the tuna wrap. Remember no cash!!

We went to Kite City Food Truck on the recommendation of our hosts and the experience couldn’t have been better. We were welcomed with warm Portuguese hospitality, a freshly made glass of portuguese sangria and a smile which immediately made us feel at home. The food is excellent: fresh fish perfectly cooked and all of it enjoyed with a stunning view of the beach. Do not miss it!
Sandra F — Google review
The tuna burger was great, and the fish was moist and fresh. A nice spicy sauce would be a good addition, as it felt a bit dry, but still delicious. A bit pricey for a burger and a handful of potato chips, but still amongst the most affordable places on the island. It's worth trying!

I know I’m going to be dreaming of the tuna burger everyday. Amazing patty and they cook it perfectly (seared). Best thing I ate in Bonaire

One of my top 3 Burger joint on Bonaire. The fish burger was Perfect, fish juicy Sauce well balanced. Their spicy burger was also perfect including large patty, nicely seasoned. The Chips were also Great. Their Home Made Sangria is a must try

It’s one of the only places where they have gluten free options on the menu. The owner of the foodtruck knows everything about gluten and other allergies. We tried the burgers and wraps. They were amazing!

We had our first meal on the island, and the tuna burger was incredible! It featured three pieces of ahi tuna, bean sprouts, and came with chips. The sangria was delicious as well. The staff was friendly, and they didn’t ask us to pay until we finished our meal. Please note that they only accept cash. We enjoyed our burger while sitting on the beach.

Nestled in Rincon, the oldest town in Bonaire, Posada Para Mira is a charming restaurant offering an authentic taste of local cuisine. The menu features traditional dishes such as stewed goat, fresh fish, and even iguana, accompanied by classic sides like funchi and fried plantain.
Our meal was 22/03/2025around 1pm. If I could have given the service a 6 out of 5 I would have. We had hiked in the national park in the morning and then went to the Cadushy Distillery. It was very busy and we were very hungry after our morning hike so the distillery recommended this restaurant. The location of the restaurant was easy to find and lots of parking. The scenery at the restaurant was stunning. There was about 20 people seated on our arrival att various tables in twos and 4’s, there was 6 of us. Right away our server came over and explained meal options and the menu and answered our question. We had the fish sandwich, salt cod, three of us had goat, and 1 fish of the day meal and dessert. For 6 of us it came out fresh and hot and all agreed yummy. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our server remained attentive we had water pop and beer. Some of us then had the most decadent desert Pina Colada cake. Needless to say the people with dessert had no choice but to share. The service was exceptional as I said the food was good the restaurant was spotless as was the washrooms. It is an open air restaurant but there was a lovely breeze we were not too hot. The views around the restaurant were amazing.

Stopped in here for lunch in our last day on the island. If you can, avoid the days that the cruise ships are in port. It was very busy when we went and we spent 1.5 hours before we finished our food and left. We brought a deck of cards, so no big deal - I’d actually recommend taking a deck of cards with you to most restaurants on the island. HOWEVER, the staff were very friendly and the food was DELICIOUS!! Worth the wait 100%!!! I had the goat stew and iguana soup, both were splendid. If nervous about the iguana, I’d tell you that it tastes like rabbit. The restaurant is located atop a mountain with a GORGEOUS view. A must stop if you have the time!!!

What a nice family business with great food and service. I'm so glad someone recommended when I was picking up my rental car. Authentic cuisine it was so good, I was too busy living in and enjoying the moment, I forgot to take a picture!

We had the goat stew and it was very good. I had it with french fries and enjoyed it. The Pika relish was delicious. We tried the Iguana soup and it was pretty good. It had many small bones in it. Great view!

4 stars may be a bit generous This place gets alot of hype, and I mean ALOT of hype. Food is good, bit "great", but good. Service? A bit above average. Atmosphere? Eh, nothing to write home about. Had to try the Iguana Soup, good flavor, could of, should of, git more Iguana meat. Ordered the Conch. It came with their rice n beans combo, plantains, sweet potato, cornbread meal (I think fried) and a lil salad (real little!). Conch was really good, plate overall was good. So why 4 stars and maybe 3 stars is a better rating? Way, WAY too expensive. This spot has the name. They get the hype, they can call their own shots. Not a lil expensive, WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!
James S — Google review
Authentic cuisine in a lovely open air restaurant. We went here after visiting the flamingo sanctuary. The food was flavorful and priced very reasonably. There is a lot of covered seating and the breeze kept you cool. A lovely change from the beachside touristy restaurants peppering the island, worth the 30 min drive.

I was excited to try this restaurant - and my meal was great! I enjoyed the goat stew ( a few bones in it, but the flavor was great). My husband got the iguana stew - which had great flavor, but had so many bones, it was tough to eat. It was a great experience though! How many people (from the US specifically) can say they have eaten goat and iguana?? The restaurant and landscape was beautiful! Worth the visit!

Ocean Oasis Beach Club is a perfect destination for those seeking a mix of casual and gourmet dining options to suit every palate. The club's terrace, adorned with comfortable sofas and bean bags under a stunning pergola, provides an ideal setting to unwind with friends and family. With its white sandy beaches featuring luxurious sunbeds and cabanas, it offers the ultimate environment for sunbathing or immersing oneself in a good book.
This is the third time I have visited this ocean side paradise. I thought I did a review, but possibly not. The staff is attentive and the choices of where to sit is a lot. You can sit at a table, bar seating or cabanas (rental). No matter where you sit, you will have views of the water. The drinks are amazing with a lot of cocktail choices as well as beer and wine. I had the popcorn chicken this time and my friends had the spicy chicken wings. The last meal we had there was amazing, along with an espresso martini. A great place for.a.snack and drink or a full meal. They were setting up for a fish market. We plan on coming back next Sunday to try this fun set up. A great island go to. I added my last visit pictures too.

Ocean Oasis, nestled in Punt Vierkant, offers a spectacular setting with breathtaking views. The overall vibe is relaxed/rustic beach atmosphere. We made our visit on a Fish + Meat Market night, the experience was both unique and engaging. Guests are invited to walk up to the market display and select their preferred cuts of fresh fish and meat, creating a personalized dining experience that feels both interactive and exciting. The service was exceptional, with an upbeat, friendly energy that added to the overall positive vibe of the evening. From the vibrant atmosphere to the quality of the food, this was a memorable dining experience. Will definitely return :)

We decided to stop by here after being recommended by a local friend. We had heard from them that the dinner time and night would be packed so we opted to go just before dinner time and grab a drink at happy hour. Even at this time of day, the parking lot that they have was a little full, but we were lucky to be able to find a spot that someone had just left. Their parking lot is quite small and fills fast so if you come during a busy time, expect to find parking on the street or further away. There is plenty of scooter parking near the front, but I wouldn’t recommend that for the island in its entirety. When we arrive, the staff was cordial at the desk, but not exactly friendly. We stated that we had just want to come for a couple drinks and just sit with beach views. They mentioned the cabana offerings and their costs for rental, but we once again told them we were fine sitting on their covered patio space for just a single drink, since we had dinner reservations elsewhere. We ended up finding a spot at the corner of the patio, which was great because I had gotten sunburned earlier in the week and needed some shade. When we sat down, our waiter immediately asked what we wanted to drink and we asked for a couple minutes to review the menu. Drinks were fairly priced compared to the island. I ordered a Mojito. My husband ordered a beach rum cocktail. Both were very good. The waiter didn’t come back too often to check on us since we weren’t ordering a meal, but did come by and ask if we were gonna order a second round. My husband had to go up to the desk to ask for our check so that we could pay. There was a lot of cabana space that was covered, so it seems plenty of people can come here and enjoy a day. At the time we were visiting, they were setting up speakers outside for the DJ that plays nightly. We had heard from a local friend that they offer a catch of the day seafood market, but we apparently had missed it. Basically they have a buffet style choice of seafood options you can buy; once you have selected what you wanted, they will cook it up for you! We heard it was every Sunday, and we visited on Friday, so we had missed it during our visit. However, we are excited to return to Bonaire to do it once we can come back! The menu looked quite good overall for food , and had some of the standard island options. Nothing to me, stood out as unique compared to other restaurants and their offerings. A lot of people do come here for dinner and to see the sunset, and we can certainly see why that is. Most seating areas offer a beautiful view of the ocean, and sunset. I do think it would be a beautiful place to stay and watch sunset if you have the opportunity.

Lovely views. Food was just okay though. Chairs in the restaurant are not that great. Definitely a chill spot, no need to dress up. Espresso martini was really yummy.

We had the best day of relaxation while visiting Ocean Oasis. We were promptly greeted and escorted to our cabana for the day. Our server was super friendly and attentive to our requests. We received welcome mimosas and complimentary bottled water. We ordered lunch and it was very good and cooked fresh. We somehow missed the fact that they have an on site spa with open air massage offerings. We would've definitely done a massage had we known it was offered. We didn't notice until we were leaving. The price for the offering is very good. There are lots of sea urchins at this beach, but there was an inlet area that provided a great place to swim and cool off. It was so relaxing. When we return to Bonaire, we will definitely do this again. It was a perfect day! Thank you Ocean Oasis!

We love it here. We recently went for a lunch date. As soon as we arrived, we felt welcome as if we were part of the family. The staff is very kind and checks in on you often. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed the view and beautiful blue colors of the Bonaire ocean. If you ever go there I recommend getting the “Shrimp Carpaccio”.

If you are looking for a nice place to eat (lunch) with a beautiful view over the sea then don’t go looking too far. The service was top notch, the food even better but maybe a bit too much portion-wise and the cocktail “rum runner” to die for.

Cocktails was amazing and unique. The food was delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the service was great at the bar and restaurant. Dining next to an amazing view over the ocean was relaxing and very enjoyable. Stunning view of the sunset from where we were seated.

We were so disappointed by this meal. We made reservations so we were sat quickly. Unfortunately our table was one with an obstructed view of the ocean, which kinda stinks. Our waiter could barely understand us (he spoke Spanish). So my husband spoke to him in Spanish but he still got confused about our order. He barely checked on us and never asked if we wanted another drink or how the food was. It took forever to get our check, even after asking. The food, highly disappointing. The drinks were obviously not fresh ingredients and that was sad for the cost. They were underwhelming. We are vegetarians so we were excited to go to this restaurant after studying the menu online because they had a poke bowl with smoked tofu. We started with gazpacho. It was fine but almost tasted like the base of it was V8. It was ok but nothing great. The poke bowl presentation was beautiful! The taste was quite awful. The best part of it was the pickled carrots and the avocado. The rice was not fully cooked and tasteless. The smoked tofu was very out of place with the flavor profile. Neither one of us liked it and we usually love this type of meal. Overall it was a $100 meal that was really not worth the cost.

Stayed nearby and came to Rum Runners once for dinner, and a second time to get lunch to-go. Drinks were excellent, as were the pizzas, ceviche, and the daily special. Our server was attentive yet relaxed, well informed about the menu, and kind. Beautiful view of the sunset and the tarpon at night.
Kelsey G — Google review
Never again. I have never felt inclined to write a bad review, and am usually extremely understanding when it comes to training new staff, but tonight was inexcusable. Dinner reservations for 7:30. The only thing anyone at the restaurant was attentive to, was refilling our water. Having had a table of four sat behind us, 30 - 45 minutes after us (who were also absolutely loud and insufferable , with nothing but complaints about not only the menu, but the entire island), we were already anxious to get our food and enjoy the rest of our final night on the island. Despite having the same waitress, that table received not only two (apparently awful by their loud comments) appetizers, but also all four of their main dishes before we were ever even acknowledged about ours. At 9:30, with no apologies or even offers for additional drinks during our wait, we felt we had no option but to leave, as we were also not willing to suffer through the conversation of the table who arrived and ordered well after us (let alone having waited to almost two hours after arriving). We spent our final night on the island suffering through loud and unpleasant conversations, and not having a meal at all. By the time we had left, there were no other options available to us even if we wanted to go elsewhere. We've had bad service here several times over the years, but continued to return as the food was decent and the views were great. I have never felt the need to leave a negative review until this experience. I would have loved to have left a review on the food, but I never did get my Ribeye steak. I hope the food was good for the table behind us who were prioritized though, because they will surely be talking about it everywhere they go for the rest of their stay if it wasn't!

Middle Eastern restaurant
Mediterranean restaurant
Mezze Restaurant offers a modern take on authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, led by a team of chefs trained at Le Cordon Bleu. The restaurant's signature homemade pita bread and ginger-hummus welcome diners to an array of small cold starter plates like hummus, baba gannoush, falafel, and more.
The food was great. The chicken appetizer to start was fresh and smokey. The tuna was amazingly fresh and tasted perfect, not too cooked, and was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The vegetables and sides were amazing as well. The drink was a refreshing lemonade that complimented the meal perfectly. Service was attentive and great. Also, there is a great atmosphere to eat and watch the sunset.

Every bit as good as everyone else has said! We kept it simple with one main each, but that was after the phenomenal homemade pita and some side to spread on it whose name I didn't catch. Anyway, everything was bursting with flavor. While I thought that the lamb shank was the best my better half thought it was the Moroccan Chicken. Either would be worth the trip, but if you are extra hungry get the chicken. I loved the slight heat given to the vegetables and the couscous was its own kind of terrific.

They have a few great vegetarian options but the meat is delicious as well. We ordered 2 mezze’s (small plates) and one main dish and shared everything. The baba ghanous was very tasteful. The prices are perfectly reasonable. Unfortunately they are closed on Sundays otherwise we would have eaten there a second time!

First I want to apologize to the chef who prepared our dinner last night, I believe it was Sander but I'm going by memory. This chef is amazing to watch as he prepares the dinners. Top notch. His detail is very very good. We had the 4 course option which at the end was a lot of food and so delicious. Thanks to all the staff, great service, having a reservation I believe got us an incredible table overlooking the ocean. We missed eating here in January, and so glad we did last night. We will return. This restaurant is part of Buddy's Dive , and although we were not staying there, it looks impressive!! Thanks again. Doug and Lori. (Canada)

We ate at multiple restaurants on Bonaire, this by far was the best. The view is absolutely fantastic service was good. Had a good wine selection and prices were better than the other nicer restaurants. Way better than bubbles restaurant and cheaper. Had the the parmesan truffle pasta, it was good but it's not like what you get in Amsterdam. Pasta was light and had all the melted parmesan from the bowl. But there was no truffle taste or smell from the truffle paste. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. We went after dark so you can’t see well but it looks out right over the ocean. A great view and scenic dinner. The service itself was on the tougher side. We were sat at 6:50pm and left after 9pm. There were only about 7-10 tables sat in the place with 3 servers around. We had to ask the bar for water at one point because our server never came back. A nice guy but not great service. The menu itself is small. Only a few dishes to choose from in terms of main courses. We got the Hong Kong style sea bass, spicy seafood pasta, and the scallops. The seafood pasta comes with the catch of the day and our server didn’t know what fish that was… they gave us a side of fries, we asked which dish it came with and they said we shouldn’t have gotten fries. I wouldn’t say any of them blew us away. They were all fine dishes but lacked flavor. Overall just an okay experience. We paid $120 for 2 people with 2 drinks, 1 app, 2 dishes, and a dessert. Everything was fine quality but tasted just okay.

We really enjoyed our time here! Expansive menu with so much to offer. Every dish was delicious. We started with Oysters, creamy and slightly briny. Our favorite starter was Ibérico Jambón Bellota Pata Negra, melts in your mouth! The Wild Tuna was a surprise! Perfect crisp texture and very fresh flavor. For an entree we shared the Sea Salt Crusted “Dorade”, a very mild fish that did not disappoint. To finish we enjoyed Mojito Cheese Cake, it was a delicious ending to a lovely evening. The staff was very friendly, prices fair, and atmosphere relaxing.

We got the tuna 2.0, eel and scallop, sous vide red snapper, and pomegranate desert and each dish was very tasty. This restaurant separates itself from others on the island with its gastronomic take on cooking (sous vide, foams etc). He open kitchen allowed us to see the kitchen staff in action and there was a lot of time taken on playing and presentation. I was very impressed with the kitchen itself. From my table I could see a brick oven and a small big green egg. The waitress we had was extremely friendly and hospitable.

Yesterday we had dinner at Ingrediënts Restaurant. What a lovely place! We had a table at the seaside. That was awesome! About the menu card: very good. So much options, even for vegetarians . The quality of the food: terrific. The only thing we were not that positive about is the service. Although we were there for just one hour, we had 3 different waiters serving us. One of them was kind and smiling, the other two seemed like they didn’t have fun in their job or so. Anyway, we enjoyed the (vegetarian) food and the wonderful location that we gave 4 stars anyway. Friendly staff, reasonable food though slightly overpriced. The service was lacking, we waited a long time to order and to pay the bill. Able to accommodate a gluten allergy (celiac) except for dessert. Not as fancy a dining experience as the location and atmosphere would suggest.
Tyler Z — Google review
The best thing about this restaurant was the view. Food was middling. Waiter was good. Manager duped us. The burrata was good. Could have used some bread, but was fine by itself. The parmesean truffle pasta wasn't terribly flavorful. Too bad because they put a lot of effort into the presentation when they serve. Perhaps they should put more effort into the flavor. Definitely needed more garlic. The catch of the day was okay. Not the best fist dish I've ever had, but also not the worst. Again, not terribly flavorful. The eatamess was good and tangy. Probably the most flavorful thing we had. Our server was attentive. The manager, who sat us though, asked if we wanted sparkling or flat water. Most places we have been to when you say flat they bring tap water. They brought a bottle out, and served it to us. No big deal, lots of restaurants use bottles to serve water. However, when we asked for more, the waiter opened up the new bottle at the table and we realized that it was bottled water we had to pay for...clearly the manager had duped us...1 star deducted for that.

Restaurant
CHEFS Bonaire is an exclusive dining experience on the island, offering a cozy and intimate setting for only 20 guests each evening at 7:00 PM. The restaurant also provides two private tables for a more secluded experience. Due to its popularity, reservations need to be made well in advance as there is a four-month waiting list.
We had been put on a waiting list in hopes of being able to come here for dinner, and on the morning of our last full day, we got a call asking if we had availability. We quickly said yes, and we’re excited at the opportunity for the chance for dinner here. We were immediately greeted by the chef and escorted through the door and to the back. They asked our names and offered us something bubbly to drink from the beginning. We were the first to arrive so we had seats that were already assigned to us, which was at one of the two back tables. We didn’t get the chef’s counter, but that was OK because it meant for a more intimate experience. The counter provides a more social atmosphere by contrast. Once everyone had arrived, they started promptly on time. There is limited seating, and they only serve dinner, but we were excited at all the potential options we had to look forward to. We both decide upon the wine pairing to complement dinner. Even before dinner started, they decided to come back around again and verify our dietary limitations. Since I have a corn allergy, they were more than willing to accommodate. There is no menu so it is a surprise as to what you are offered each of the five courses. There is also a drink surprise that we had, and we loved as it was a Japanese take on a mojito made with sake. We’ve been to Japan, so this was a beautiful surprise. Each course was fun and unique. We enjoyed the pork, and the beef, but our favorite was the fish course, which will happen to be the third course of the evening. Dessert was just as light and delicious. The wine paired very well with the options we had, and were complementary to the different flavors. They’re very kind to go back around if you want a little bit more for your glass, as they’re worried about the wine getting too warm during the meal. This is something I very much appreciated as they were congress and of that temperature differential for taste. Once we were done with all the courses , we went up to pay. It was a steep meal or compared to all of the other dinners we had out on the island, but we felt it was well worth the experience and time we had there. The chef truly take care of you during the time that you’re there, and it’s very fun to watch them prepare the meal in front of you. I do recommend trying to get reservations ahead of time; when we looked on the day of our meal, there was already a three month wait. Even if you do not get a reservation, do what we did and get put on the waitlist. My husband ended up calling early in the week to see if there was any cancellations that we could jump into, and we personally felt that helped our ability to get in, even being on the waitlist. I’m so glad this was recommended to us by a local friend. While I understand not everybody can afford to do this meal, if you can afford the splurge, I recommend you doing so. We hope to come back to Bonaire and enjoy another meal here. We think the chef’s for their time and expertise and we’re pleased with our meal.

A stellar dining experience. Each course thoughtfully prepared and paired with the perfect wine. They make sure to avoid allergies by requesting preferences when reservations are made. They also follow up prior to the meal to ensure nothing was overlooked. They serve a 6 course surprise menu each night. Small plates but certainly enough that we left fully satisfied. Ordinarily surprise menus are not my thing. Chefs is one of the few restaurants I trust in this regard. Even our friends raved about how wonderful everything was. Make reservations well in advance of your visit!

I don’t even have words for how incredible this place is. My husband and I are on Bonaire for 2 nights as a mini honeymoon and I contacted them at the beginning of the week asking to be put on the cancellation list but had little hope because I waited so long. I received a WhatsApp message from Chef Han on day 1 of our trip asking if we were still interested and was so excited. The restaurant itself is stunning, open air and open kitchen. All three chefs pay such an incredible attention to detail in every aspect of the menu and the guest experience. It was truly a special thing that we were so fortunate to take part in. The amuse, the palate cleanser cocktail, the butter for the bread course…everything was exquisite. The wine pairings for each dish are so well thought out and Chef Han personally comes to tell you about each bottle as he serves it. I wish we could rewind time and experience it all again! Chef also took a photo of us for our honeymoon and then came out with a beautiful card and Polaroid at the end of the meal. It was a wonderful touch. We also had perfectly crafted espresso martinis to round out the night and then Chef Han came and chatted with us for a while. Also worth noting that all of the returning guests except for us and maybe one more pair are repeat guests, which for a place like this speaks volumes. We already booked for next year for our one year wedding anniversary and I can’t wait to see what the menu brings.

If you are going to have only one meal on Bonaire, this is that one meal you should have! This was one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever had. If you are a foodie and have enjoyed watching any cooking show in your life, then you have to eat here and sit at the "bar" and not one of the two table behind the bar. This is intimate, delicious, and one of the best foodie experiences you'll ever have! You'll get to talk to the chefs throughout the evening and really get a better understanding of the edible artwork they are creating! The next time we are on the island, we will be back without question.
Michael D — Google review
This was easily the best meal of my life. We visit Bonaire at least once a year and this restaurant will now be a must for all of our future trips. My only regret is that I did not dine at Chefs sooner because this is without a doubt, the best restaurant on the island. Everything they served was exquisite, the staff was attentive which made for a perfect evening, and overall the atmosphere felt elegant but also relaxed. The evening was a dining experience I will never forget, it was truly perfect and this dinner is now the best part of my trip.

Very few things live up to the hype. This does. My partner and I do not imbibe alcohol. Special non alcoholic versions of cocktails were created for us. I also will not eat food prepared with alcohol unless it is cooked off. As such i expected to be unable to have dessert and accepted this without having an issue with it. The chef made me a special dessert, it was delicious. The thoughtfulness to create it was just as sweet and enjoyable as the wonderful mango compote they created. I will return. Make reservations as soon as you plan your holiday dates.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Absolutely amazing. The best chef's choice dinner I have ever had. The attention to my wife's gluten allergy made her feel that the chef's focused on her just as much as the other plates. You must experience to fully understand how amazing this place is. Please go.

very European in the middle of the small island. very sophisticated and delicious food! plates are not so small, three for two people is enough! we tried duck, tartare, bread and scallop. everything was just amazing! it's better to book a table and prepare to an European style of slow service ;)

The location is beautiful and interesting with lots of atmosphere—not at all the cookie cutter look of so many places we’ve found. The menu was interesting, the food tasty, and the waitress pleasant and helpful. And I actually had a dessert I’ve never seen anywhere else: a poached pear with an interesting crisp glazing of caramel, and rum raisin ice cream on the side. Excellent!

The food here was delicious. It has a tapas feel with smaller shareable plates making this a great place to take a group of friends. I definitely recommend the gnocchi, my favorite dish here. There is seating indoors and outside. The outdoor seating is covered by trees with very nice lighting giving this place a great ambiance.

The gelateria offers a wide variety of homemade gelato made with real fruit, including flavors like coconut, cocoa, and oreo. Customers recommend trying unique flavors such as hazelnut and passion fruit.
Delicious and cute place with great prices. Lots of flavour choices. Friendly staff. Right on the main street, so you can grab your gelato and go for a walk or just sit inside/outside and enjoy it. Open late.

Fantastic Gelato! We went back several days. They added some new flavors each day. Delicious other desserts as well! Get ready for tasty gelato, but bring cash, as cards aren't accepted. Pricing less than we pay in Arizona. If you're staying on the island, check the 🚢 port schedule. It's family busy on a normal day with quick service, even when cruise comes in, but it's harder to find a place to sit.

Ice cream shop located in the historic center of Bonaire, offering top-quality artisanal ice cream and home-made cakes. There’s a good variety of flavors, all very creamy and delicious. The place is clean and quiet, perfect to relax in the cool air conditioning while enjoying your ice cream. There’s also an outdoor terrace for those who prefer to sit outside. Make sure to visit Gio’s before you leave Bonaire and enjoy one of their irresistible ice creams! Just a note: payments are cash only.

Really great spot kid friendly with playground and excellent food. These google reviews don’t lie one of the best spots we’ve been so far. Highly recommend!

Excellent food. Great variety on the menu. Ingredients are high quality and prepared well. $18 US dollars is too expensive for a single sandwich in my opinion, though. The food comes out quick and you pay on your way out. The watermelon smoothie is large and refreshing. Others in my group enjoyed their coffee. I received bad attitude from the employee on the til when I requested to pay for half of the bill and have others in my party pay the other half, which was disappointing given it was a simple request. A great spot for sandwiches but it’s certainly not cheap.

Foodies Bonaire is a popular bayside restaurant located in the serene Sorobon area, offering a diverse menu that includes both classic dishes and signature creations. The open concept restaurant provides stunning views of Lac Bay, making it an ideal spot for lunch or dinner. With its rotating 3-course special featuring fresh bread, soup of the day, daily catch from local fishermen, and surprise dessert, Foodies is a culinary highlight on the southeastern side of Bonaire.
We stopped here for lunch! We were happy with the food. I love the atmosphere and you can also watch the windsurfers. Great little find! There's a ton of conch shells if you cross over to the mangroves. 😉
Cristina H — Google review
Foodies Bonaire turned out to be a hidden gem worth the adventure! Our evening began with a drive that was anything but easy after sunset. While I’m sure it’s a leisurely journey during the day, navigating the unlit, bumpy, and sometimes unpaved roads of Bonaire in the dark added an extra layer of excitement. If you’re heading out after dusk (sunset is around 6:30 p.m.), be prepared for a few potholes and stretches of pitch-black road. But once we arrived, it was like stumbling into a little oasis. The restaurant is tucked away near Sorobon Beach on Lac Bay, and even though we couldn’t see the view in the dark, I can only imagine how stunning it must be during the day. The cozy, casual vibe of the place was immediately inviting, with large outdoor seating areas and a couple of bars indoors that seemed perfect for a laid-back drink with friends. We opted for dinner on the covered patio, where a soft breeze added to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive, switching seamlessly between Dutch and English to ensure everyone felt welcome. The menu offered a nice variety, with vegetarian, fish, meat, and pasta options, plus a few specials to keep things interesting. Foodies Bonaire is definitely worth the trip—just consider visiting during daylight if you’re not up for a nighttime driving adventure! Whether you’re there for a meal or just a drink, it’s a great spot to soak up the island’s charm. Easy to make reservations online.
Tanyia J — Google review
We had been a full day in Jibe City, and decided on foodies for dinner. My husband got a reservation ahead of time so we could get a table to view sunset. When we arrived, the hostess had apparently mixed up our names with another couples, and sat us further away from the viewing table we had reserved. No matter, we still saw sunset, but I was already pretty cautious as a result of this, especially considering it was early in the day and not busy. My husband opted for the three course meal with a rum flight. He enjoyed all six options for the rum flight, but the last two were quite rushed and came at the same time, as he was enjoying dessert. The three course meal was plenty (including a salad, shrimp with vegetables, and a dessert course). The vegetables were steamed so didn’t have much flavor past that, but it was the sauce that stole the show. If anything, just order the shrimp with vegetables and pour the sauce over everything. I opted for the local fish with vegetables and a cocktail. The passionfruit martini was quite delicious and was a great pairing with my fish dish. The fish was a local snapper that came with a delicious sauce, and steamed vegetables. The steamed vegetables had no flavor, so I poured my sauce all over them as well as my fish. The fish was cooked well, but a little over for what I like; I felt it was a tad dry. You could tell the fish was fresh, and not frozen, as it had a lot of good flavor in the meat. Prices were a bit higher compared to other restaurants who offered the same choices. Service was good, but considering it was a slow time of the day versus a dinner rush, the server was a bit slower to come back for drinks. I had planned on ordering another drink, but end up, skipping on that since we were so far in our meal by that point. The views for sunset were nice , but I felt the reservation was irrelevant considering we specifically asked for a spot we didn’t get, and it wasn’t busy at all. Well, we wouldn’t have asked the other couple to move, we felt it was the hostess, who should’ve been responsible for placing diners appropriately. The bartender was really great and as for feedback on the cocktail flight. My husband expressed that he had enjoyed the entire flight, but I had some that he personally liked more than other others. While in Bonaire, you will hear the foodies commercials quite often on the radio. To some degree, you can expect the food to be good, but it was nothing we found overly exceptional or unique. To me, they could have punched up the flavor and offered more seasonings to the vegetables that accompanied our meal. When I return to Bonaire, I may skip foodies next time.
Lauren W — Google review
We drove about 15 minutes from Divi Flamingo to Foodies. Worth the drive. Great restaurant with terrasses and a view on Lac Bay. The appetizers were awesome and the ribs excellent. Too hot for me but I still devoured mine despite my mouth being on fire. They were so good. Recommended!

Indoor / outdoor covered dining. Excellent food selection and the drinks were TOP NOTCH! We stopped at another 'resort' for dining and the staff was NOT friendly to tourists (odd). Foodies IS the place for great food and drinks and a beautiful atmosphere. Our waitress was one of the twins. I would definitely dine here again.

Our server was great! I would see Foodies in passing but would never stop. I was always on my way some where. My husband and I brought family visiting from Canada 🇨🇦 here and they throughly enjoyed it. I expected more from my caramel ice cream dessert based on the description and price but I am glad I tried it. I am always looking for delicious fish on Bonaire and Foodies did not disappoint. Would I suggest Foodies? A resounding….yes.

Ok, so third time at Foodies on two different dive trips to Bonaire. Foodies is BY FAR our favorite restaurant. The food is thoughtfully prepared. It's not just a mechanical routine. We stopped by for an afternoon burger for myself and chicken salad for my wife. The manager was very rude and uppity. The waitresses were sitting around at a table occupied on their phones. It took over 30 minutes to get a horrible burger and a chicken salad. We barely touched our food it was so bad. The manager clearly aware of our unhappiness so he sent the waitress over to ask us about it . We told her the food was bad. Bonaire Blond Brewery is a local brewery on the island of Bonaire, offering its signature Bonaire Blond beer. This light blonde beer has a 4.5% alcohol content and undergoes an extended maturation process, resulting in a more intense flavor profile with hints of aloe vera and grapefruit.
Living on Bonaire, I know how rare it is to find a place that’s consistently good - and Bonaire Blond Brewery is one of those gems. The food is always tasty, the beer never disappoints, and the team is genuinely welcoming and professional every single time. It’s become one of my favorites because I can count on having a great experience here, no matter when I come.

What a very pleasant surprise, mere steps from the cruise pier in Kralendijk, Bonaire! Not a huge selection of beers, but the namesake blond was quite good! Awesome Caribbean vibe with both cozy indoor and hidden-alley outdoor seating! Food looked delicious, but we just stopped in for a beer. We spent an hour or so here after a day at the Hang Out Beachbar on Sorobon Beach (and on our way to local and tourist fav, Karel's), but due to its close proximity to the pier, it would be the perfect spot for a last beer or 2 before getting back to the ship before it leaves you in paradise!

They have a very nice happy hour from 5:00 to 6:00 usually, but from 5:00 to 7:00 on Thursdays. $6 frozen or regular cocktails. Quite reasonable by Bonaire standards and they have some decent food choices also. They also combine it with $12 burgers on Thursdays. We went there a few times during our week long stay. Make sure you park in the unpaved area north of the gate going in. If you park in the paved area there is a security guy who will fuss at you.

Breeze ‘n Bites is our go to place on Bonaire. The food is always good and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. I’m commenting today on their Thursday burger nite. There is a special menu for Thursdays consisting of about 5 different burgers and one catch of the day. I almost always get the burger, my choice is bacon cheeseburger, however there has always been a fish burger option and I think a veggie burger. My wife gets the catch of the day. This trip she has had barracuda and wahoo. Both were very enjoyable. The meals come with fries and a small side salad. There is often an additional side with the COD. As of this posting the burger was $12.50 and the COD $17.50. This may be the best deal on the island! In addition there is a happy hour from 5 - 7. I would strongly suggest reservations. Going to the restaurant in person is a good idea. We tried booking online and when we got there, they did not have us. They did make space for us so thanks B ‘n B! We have eaten here on regular nights and have never been disappointed. Check it out!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I had possibly the worst seafood I have ever ordered in my life. The catch of the day (wahoo) was tough, dried out and flavorless. They served it with a sauce which tasted like they opened a cheap jar of salsa and mixed it with some barbecue sauce. Yuck. (Old El Paso?) We ordered blended cocktails which were just watered down tourist drinks. The one with alcohol didn't feel like there was much alcohol at all. If you're used to good cocktails, don't order one here. Server didn't ask about the food until we were done. Stars for the atmosphere and burger. Don't get seafood. Great example of how it is not proximity to the sea that makes good seafood. Stick to the burger which was really pretty good.

Wow what a wonderful Place for dinner. Service was off the Chart. The view right on the water was amazing. The food was very good and we will always come back here when on the island !

King Kong Bonaire is a renowned food truck located at the picturesque Bachelors Beach, offering a delectable selection of burgers, hotdogs, and fries. It has received accolades such as the Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Award and is widely regarded as the best food truck on the island. Whether you're returning from an exhilarating dive or gearing up for a kite session at Bonaire Kite School, King Kong Burger is the perfect spot to grab a satisfying meal.
When seeking out food in Bonaire, the choices are many. King Kong Bonaire is a great food truck that you can find hanging out at Bachlor Beach. The colorful yellow and picture of King Kong will draw your eye to really good food. King Kong Bonaire keeps it simple with hamburgers and hot dogs. I was in the mood for a hamburger, and this one didn't disappoint. The meat to bun ratio was perfect. I understood from my friend, that was with me, that the meat for the hamburger was fresh ground, you could taste that the meat was super fresh. The standard burger comes with condiments, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onions. I decided to put cheese, bacon, and an egg onto mine. It was amazing and tasted super fresh. The fries were super fresh from the frier. I have become a fan of fries on Bonaire, dipping in mayo to complete the goodness. Everyone with me that ate a hamburger was super impressed on the taste*(the portions were more than we could finish and enjoyed a second round at a later time that day.

We had a few burgers on the island and this was one of the better ones. We ordered one to share (just to make sure we liked it.) and we did so we went to order another. If I were to come back to Bonaire and wanted a burger, I would pick this spot above all the ones I’ve tried. We also ordered fries.
Ontario W — Google review
We had heard a lot about this food truck and were expecting more but they were still pretty good. (The fries were not very good, though.) I would still recommend giving them a try just so you can say you ate there. 😉
Theresa H — Google review
Delicious, moist burger. I ordered The Italian Job and I couldn’t taste the truffle paste or Parmesan cheese, but the burger was still good. The fries were super crispy and really tasty. Thumbs up for sustainability; they use recycled bottles for the beverages.
Ash S — Google review
Best burger I've ever had. We tried every version of the fries and all were delicious, but the burger was the star of the show. I don't how they season the meat but it's fantastic. We ate there twice and I'm ready to go back.

Surprisingly delicious! Very juicy burgers and delicious fries. One of my fave spots to go. Great service too. Enjoy a great view when while you eat.

Delicious fresh burgers and garlic fries! These are fresh patties cooked to perfection. It is a food truck on Batchelor Beach. Yum! I don't often get excited about burgers.

Looking for THE best burger on this island, or even your life? You can get it over here! Nice and juicy, perfect meat! The fries are very nice too! Just what you need after a beautiful dive. Enjoy the best food with a great view. Great people too :) Thanks guys!

Divers Diner is a great spot to eat outdoors, with views of the ocean. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The bar provides good entertainment, and there's also an on-site band that plays every night.
Amazing food, the price is ok given it's a resort the places here in Bonaire don't seem to want to rip you off. Had lunch and came back the second evening for a drink. The fish sandwich (16 $) was amazing the meat was properly cooked and fresh came with a bunch of fries. One shot of Mama Juana rum and a Corona 10$ not so bad. If I ever come back, Diver's Diner is on my list.

Bonaire is another hidden gem in the Caribbean that totally exceeded my expectations. The island has a laid back vibe, but there’s no shortage of things to see and do. From beautiful beaches and vibrant marine life to unique landscapes and local culture, it’s a place that sticks with you. One surprising highlight? The local beer, it was crisp, refreshing, and genuinely good. If you’re looking for an island experience that’s a little off the beaten path but full of character, Bonaire is definitely worth the trip.

Sea food and meat cooked the perfect way, no attitude outside of a great smile from the staff. This place is gonna be our go to for sea food!!! Enjoy, go there, don’t be scared by what you don’t know, the staff are doing a great job!

Is it possible to do 'negative' stars?? Only putting 1 star for service & atmosphere in order to be able to post. By far the worst service on the island we have had. Unless you are a local, avoid this restaurant!! If not for the decent food this would have been a complete bust. I wonder if the kitchen knows how poorly they are represented by front of house. When one of our party needed the washroom she was told public washrooms were down the street. This is not an inexpensive restaurant & was recommended by our host. It is also important to point out there were 4 occupied table-a 2, a single and a 3 besides our 4 for the entire time we were there. This is our 2nd visit to Bonaire. Never have we experienced such rude, indifferent service.
Kelly W — Google review
Good food with a great atmosphere but incredibly bad service. I can honestly say the service totally sucked Our waitress made us feel like we were bothering her from her time standing by an empty table playing on her phone and watching video reels. Pretty much completely ignored any type of talk. Had to ask three times to get the Bill and still had to wait 10 minutes Never understand why if you're gonna be there why not put on a fake show and good service and get a good tip
Bill B — Google review
Although this place is right on the front part of the port when you get off the ship, its kind of hidden behind the mammoth mall-like structures in the front... its off to the left side... if you find it, you'll be happy to know they have comparable prices to the higher end stuff nearby... a steak, pork chop, and shrimp combo for example, was only 10 bucks... everything here is USD; Bonaire decided they would go with American dollar versus the Euro so that's what the currency here is... i also got a great "rum punch" for $5... huge outdoor seating areas and a sound stage for nighttime festivities... you can tell you are here by the diver symbol tables... cute!
Goodkine — Google review
Friday BBQ night!! Wow, that tasted great!! And with the right ratio of meats vs rice/veggies 😄😄 Washed it all down with a couple of half liters Heineken drafts, served by the attentive bar boss. Bill was very reasonable. Will come here again soon!! 🤙🏽😎🤙🏽

This was a super low-key sort of place but that what I liked about it. The food was satisfying and tasty. We had tacos, ribs, and jerk chicken which were all yummy. The taco could have used a bit of salsa or something but we are from California and have a very specific idea of what a good taco is. Service was sparce but really friendly and nice.

Ice cream shop
Luciano in Bonaire is a popular spot located along the beautiful boulevard of Kralendijk. The town has been updated to cater to daytrippers, with modern additions like an expanded Karels Beach Bar, a new marina for water taxis, and cosmopolitan cafes such as Luciano. This charming cafe offers artisanal homemade ice cream and gourmet coffee, making it a favorite for ice cream and coffee enthusiasts.
In less than a weeks time I went here 3 times 😂 The ice cream was amazingly yummy! We had some paninis too and enjoyed them as well. Staff was very nice especially the gentleman that helped us with getting breakfast at night for the next day. ❤️
Marisel R — Google review
make your day and treat yourself and your family to Luciano's. I will say that your hot coffees are happily paired with a complimentary tiny scoop of ice cream. it's the only place on the island I insisted on stopping by daily rather than possibly once in a lifetime, the manager is awesome. Truly blissful. deliciously creamy and smooth icecream paired with locally freshly roasted coffee.
P L — Google review
Great restaurant, perfect location for icecream or morning breakfast. Thankfully they served Americano coffee--you know we like large coffee. Food was good, but the muffins and carrot bread in the glass case appear a bit dated. The staff is friendly and personable, helped to elevate the experience exponentially. I ordered egg omlette with veggies, it was good.
Andy S — Google review
Love the fact that they take their coffee seriously and use only locally roasted Bonchi Boneiru beans. The only beans roasted on Bonaire - and they’re roasted using an electric fluid bed roaster powered by solar panels! Oh and the ice cream. First, check out the teeny ice cream cones that come with your espresso drinks! How cool is that? Then look at that amazing ice cream concoction- well it was even dairy free! So don’t shy away if you can’t have dairy. They’ve got your back. All around great place.

Luciano Bonaire is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a great coffee or gelato. The café has been recently remodeled, and it’s absolutely beautiful — bright, modern, and very inviting. It’s also in a perfect location right on the main street, just a short walk from the cruise terminals. We ordered lattes, and they were incredibly smooth and flavorful. The best part? They came served with a mini gelato in a waffle cone — such a fun and unexpected touch that made the visit extra special. Whether you’re looking for a coffee break, dessert, or just a great place to unwind, Luciano Bonaire is definitely worth a stop!

Stopped for breakfast with my wife. The coffee was reasonably good but that was it. The servers seemed as though they just want us to leave (and hopefully not order anything). We watched our omelettes sit on the counter for more than 10 minutes while the 3 servers on watch did everything but serve. The “toast” was just slightly warmed up bread and both our omelettes (ham & cheese and bacon & cheese) hardly had any filling and no flavor whatsoever. Definitely NOT going back.

One of the highlights is the exclusive Chef's Table experience, where guests can indulge in a unique six-course tasting menu.
Zara’s was an amazing fine dining experience. The staff and service was impeccable, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious! Everything we ate was incredible and you could tell the chef is highly dedicated to his craft and is extremely creative. He made jackfruit taste good! I can’t recommend this place enough. Please visit them and spread the word!

Zara’s Bonaire offers a true gastronomical experience. We chose to sit on the terrace, enjoying a stunning sunset with expertly crafted cocktails. Opting for the five-course dinner, I was pleased that the chef accommodated my vegetarian preferences. The food was a mix of highs and slight misses—the breads and beet salad were excellent, while the ravioli was slightly undercooked. Service was extremely slow, likely due to being understaffed, making this a three-hour dinner. If you have the time and patience, the experience is worth it, but be prepared for a leisurely-paced meal.
Tanvi A — Google review
We had an incredible dining experience at Zara’s- hands down one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The service was impeccable and the creativity of the dishes was incredibly memorable, combining local and European flavors. The chef did an amazing job of accommodating dietary restrictions, which was much appreciated. We would highly recommend adding a visit to Zara’s to your trip to Bonaire!

What a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner. Memorable! Because of the weather conditions dinner served inside of the art gallery in stead of the rooftop. However we were at the Chef’s table in the heart of the kitchen. Excellent menu, dishes with great wine pairing! worthwhile visiting Zara’s. By the way also good and friendly service and staff.

We had the pleasure of dinner at Zara’s on New Years Eve and it was absolutely fantastic ! Every course was delicious, beautiful in presentation, seasoned to perfection and a delight to the palate ! The owner and chef Janos was incredibly accommodating and so kind- so approachable ! He was serving, plating, cooking and discussing the menu. Such humility in a chef ?! The entire staff worked together like a family. They even invited guests that night to stay and watch the fireworks display from the top observatory deck with them and have champagne and traditional Nee Years Eve Pastries at Midnight - the best view on the island ! Thank you Janos and staff for an incredible evening. It was our 30th Anniversary and unforgettable. I’d eat there every night if I could !

Ok THIS place is a hidden gem. Had many fine dinners on island while there for a vacation… none could touch the level of detail dedicated to the exquisite dishes we were presented. I read a few not great reviews… can’t understand why. - if you like perfection.. do yourself a favor and book a table, don’t look at the menu and just allow the chef and team to prepare you his 5 course dinner. And Thank you, for a great meal and evening.

This place is not where you want to go if you're hungry. Although flavorful it's not enough. It's a shame how much we paid for this.
Cedra N — Google review
We had high hopes based on existing reviews, but we were left very disappointed. We ordered the 6 course tasting menu, and after 1 hour 45 minutes had only gotten the first three (which were each small appetizers). The food was pretty good, except for the third course which was a single prawn in a pretty off-putting cream sauce. When the fourth course eventually arrived, I was served a meat dish despite confirming twice that I don’t eat meat. At that point we decided to pay for what we had eaten and leave. Perhaps coming here for an a la carte menu would be better. The one highlight was the staff, who were very nice!

Döner Station Hato in Bonaire offers Middle Eastern street food, serving up hot and fresh dishes like merguez sausages and chicken shwarma. Despite its basic storefront, the food is delicious and there's comfortable shaded seating in front. The restaurant is conveniently located near the marina. Open every day except Monday, it offers a variety of options including Turkish Pizza, Döner, Kapsalon, Falafel, and more.
Great for takeaway or eating at one of their tables. If you like spicy, the spicy sauce isn’t very hot. Baklava was great to take home and have with morning coffee. Would eat here again on Bonaire!

Falafel on bread 5* (vegan)!! This is one of the best (and cheapest) places to eat on Bonaire. Nothing fancy but just good food! Don't forget to add a side of fries (it is enough to share) and comes with a side of garlic sauce (also plant based) for dipping!
Chris S — Google review
Really good food and friendly service. The Döner meal was more than I could eat. The fries were great, chicken Döner meat also, the salad was super fresh! I went light on the spicy sauce. Plenty of parking and outdoor but covered seating. Lots of locals either eating there to taking out food.
William T — Google review
There’s not a lot of food options on a Sunday in Bonaire. Landed at Doner Station because it was open and based on the star reviews. Food was decent, but not fabulous. Star rating is generous in my opinion. Pro tip: Bonaire is HOT. So if you don’t enjoy eating in the heat and sweating while doing so, maybe skip this place or order out. There’s no air conditioning, just a few outdoor tables.
Harper H — Google review
Close to the Mini resort where we stayed, a small shopping center is created. There you can also find this Donner station, next to Luciano’s ice cream bar. When you get there, our first impression was.. wow! Where am I ending up here! But we ended up having a very nice surprise. It’s an open store with a terrace in front. It is quit warm there so we decided to order our meal to go and took a seat a bit further across the store. After a while quite some locals arrived and the terrace was full before we knew it. As we wanted to get a desert from Luciano’s as well we stayed close by and enjoyed our Donner wrap. The taste is very good and you see and taste that all is prepared fresh and with care. Taste was so good that we went back a few days later. Next stop! Luciano’s!!!

The sushi self is absolutely delicious! In my experience it is one of the best I’ve ever had. I have attached pictures of one of the rolls I’ve had (I am not the best photographer sorry). The Sake they serve is also very nice btw. So if you are looking for a good restaurant to enjoy sushi, then this is definitely the place to be!

This place has the best sushi on the island! I always go there and talk to the chef he does it just the way I like. No rice.. I am a keto guy so this place is my go-to on the island.. People are wonderful there.. Nice.. Accommodating.. great cocktails.. limited wine list but it works.. overall an amazing place for fresh sushi.

What a find! The sushi here is incredible! Get the special 4 great rolls plus seafood salad for two for less than a burger meal on the island! Super fresh fish and great atmosphere

We made reservations at Casa Bizarro through their website one month ahead of arriving in Bonaire. I received an email saying my reservation was confirmed. The restaurant was closed when we arrived. I double checked the date and time we had selected and yes, we were there at the correct and confirmed time and date. I have emailed Casa Bizarro with our disappointment and they have not even so much as had the courtesy to respond. Doesn't matter how good the food is when the customer service is this bad.

Good sushi, small portions for the price. I don't like it when a bartender doesn't serve at the bar and literally turns his back on you so as to not have contact with the customer. Made for an uncomfortable experience. This at dinner time with 2 customers in the place.

Wife and I stopped in here between our morning and evening dives for a quick bite. The service was top notch and she was hustling everywhere. The food hit the spot and the owner was so nice. Sad we didn’t find this sooner because it would have been a go-to for us the entire week we were here!

The service was a huge disappointment ~ our waitress was on her phone the entire time :( The person making drinks was providing much better service. Our group had 1 roll each and we waited well over an hour and we were the only individuals in the restaurant.

Best vegetarian rolls in addition to traditional sushi and rolls. Really really great service. On the water. The breeze was so inviting during dinner.
