What can I say… it was worth the wait! The food was delicious and the service was great, even though some people seemed to have their doubts :( The place is small, so a little patience is needed — but totally worth it. Great flavor!!! Highly recommended!

I want to really give a shout out to the patient, friendly staff here. This place is so famous and so busy that it would be easy to be bored or irritable. But true to Colombian culture, everyone really treated me as an individual and wanted to make sure I got what I needed and had a positive experience. Wait time was around 15 min and then I was seated at the bar area. I ordered the classics, chocolate completo and the tamale. I’d describe it as good, solid comfort food (and generous portions). The tamale tasted very fresh and the chicken meat inside was still on the bone. My bill came to COL 28,000. Sat next to a woman from Bogotá who came for the tamale (an enthusiastic repeat customer) and loved the place for the food and the rich history, so it’s interesting to see that the appeal is not just for tourists.

Just stopped in to grab some dessert. Had the milk flan and the sweet curd. Both were good. The place fills up quickly and there are not a lot of places to sit…so get there early or be ready to wait. The service was quick.

This restaurant, one of the oldest in Bogota, is a must-visit for breakfast. Their tamal with hot chocolate is a must-try. For lunch, we had the Ajiaco, which was amazing. Their menu is authentic and delicious, and everything is worth trying. There’s limited seating, so there’s often a line, but tables rotate quickly, so you don’t have to wait too long. Definitely worth the wait.

What an unforgettable cultural experience! Located just steps away from Plaza Bolívar, El Palacio de Justicia, and La Catedral, La Puerta Falsa offers a true taste of Colombian tradition. Tamales were great! The chocolate con queso was not. They make it with water instead of milk so I would suggest you get that somewhere else. Besides that, it’s in a great location, in a very historic building and I loved the ambience. Extremely fast-paced and buzzing.

Overall a fantastic meal. I slightly preferred ElCielo in Medellín and Celele in Cartagena, but Leo is still unmissable in Bogotá. (Did the lunch tasting menu on a Friday in early June 2025; easy to book last minute) Food 🟢 Most dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and made with rare ingredients sourced from all around Colombia. Loved that they served 8 incredible amuses bouches. The creamy seafood rice, the pacu cooked 3 ways, and the heart of palm dessert were unreal. 🟡 They served only one dessert — disappointing for a tasting menu of this caliber. 🟡 The portions were particularly small and we walked out hungry — the only fine dining restaurant we tried in Colombia this happened. 🔴 One of the most gorgeous dishes of my life (the cheese & flower dish) was so floral & salty it was difficult to eat — very rare at a top restaurant. Cocktails 🔴 Our first cocktails tasted so offputting that we had to return them (El Maíz and Río Magdalena) and the others were mediocre at best (Bougainvillea & Azulón Amazónico). Overall the cocktails were very unbalanced and just tasted… bad. Very surprising considering their award-winning cocktail bar is next door. Service/Ambiance 🟢 The service was very good. Most servers didn’t speak great English but I’ll never forget the general manager. His presence alone made the meal memorable and I wish I remembered his name. 🟡 With its high ceiling and tables far apart, the ambiance felt a little cold. 🟡 We asked for extra bread, which they kindly baked just for us, but didn’t warn us it would take an extra hour. If we had known, we wouldn’t have ordered.

I support Leo’s philosophy, the fact that they prioritize ingredient sourcing above all else, and their avant-garde approach to cuisine; in fact, it’s what drew me to invest in a dining experience here. Tasting esoteric Colombian ingredients was certainly a highlight. Aside from this, however, I found the food extremely disappointing. As someone who cooks every day in a kitchen, to me it seems like their cooks are not tasting/quality-checking the food they’re putting out. Both my partner and I (and I tend to season on the aggressive side) found almost every bite to be too heavily salted in a way that overtook the nuances of the very ingredients they intended to highlight. Their risotto came out way shy of al dente, and also extremely salty. I really couldn’t believe it. Their quail bone broth, which we were instructed to savor alone with a special straw, had the flavor of a muddy onion stock that boiled too hard and didn’t get skimmed properly. Many of the hot dishes we received were room temperature by the time they were served. If it were any other restaurant, you would simply send these dishes back, have them corrected, and move on with your night; for an experience like this, however, it feels rude and interrupts the flow of the evening to do this. When you’re paying this much though, these things should never happen in the first place. We enjoyed the dessert courses the most, so I have those pictured here. Many thanks to the pastry chef. I don’t generally support negative reviews because I understand how hard it can be to make people happy and because I know what it’s like to be on the receiving end of them. At the same time, however, in this case both potential diners and the restaurant itself should both be made aware of these issues which is why I felt the need to share my experience indiscriminately.

Had the 8 course meal. Focus was on ingredients that average Americans (like us) can't pronounce. Sourced from locations that the average Americans can't find on a map. Presented through a lens of cultural intersectionality that the average Americans can't de-politicize. So... Colombian all around and spectacular at that. Flavor, texture, plating, presentation, and pacing are all excellent. Playful, innovative, and authentically local. Service, without the white table cloth formality, was professional hospitality at its best: amiable and comfortable. Especially appreciated the accommodation for an "insect free" dietary restriction.

Prudencia was a really good experience for some fine dining with local flavours. They serve a fixed daily menu ensuring the most fresh dishes. The staff was really kind and knowledgeable. We got 7 dishes which were all very delicious. Some were inside and some outside with the cooks preparing it on the open fire in your sight. If you’re looking for a food experience in Bogota, this is a must visit.

OMG this is our favourite meal in Bogotá so far! What makes them stand out is how deeply it’s anchored in wood fire and fermentation. Every dish carries a subtle smokiness or brightness that feels both primal and refined. The owners have built their menu around showcasing unique ingredients from small farmers and producers, and that sense of care really comes through on the plate 🫶 Meals are served in both the indoor dining room and the outdoor space. Our favourite being the tree hut-like terrace, which feels almost magical. The environment is casual and welcoming, more like dining at a friend’s house. They’re only open for lunch, and it’s worth planning your day around it. Prudencia is thoughtful, generous, and god damn delicious. They go by a set menu which changes frequently.

We had the most fantastic lunch here. The staff were amazing and the drink pairing was 10/10 - we did half alcoholic and half non-alcoholic and both were great. Such a memorable experience!

El Chato is one of Bogotá’s culinary gems. The cuisine is outstanding, with every dish crafted to highlight fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Their cocktail list is equally impressive, especially their signature cocktail, which truly elevates the dining experience. It’s no surprise that El Chato has earned its place among the 50 Best. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to have a dedicated server for each table to ensure an even smoother service. That said, the team was impeccable in timing and in making us feel genuinely welcomed. I will definitely return if I come back to Bogotá — highly recommended!

The atmosphere is totally unique and lovely. The spices on the walls makes you get curious about each one. The service is super good, cordial, nice and with great manners. The food is totally amazing they make you lose your mind and they have interesting twists on everyday ingredients and the flavours and presentations are good. The soup made from "pepino melon" is insanely good. The only unfortunate part on my experience was an iron shaving they use to clean the pots that happened to be in my dish. They have amazing wines and great infusions.

Every single dish on the tasting menu was excellent! Fantastic food and the best presentation I’ve seen. The presentation of the ingredients used on the dish was exquisite. I did not enjoy the open kitchen, which I usually enjoy because it was extremely busy. It seems they were also preparing items for the a la carte part of the restaurant that is on the floor below. That made the atmosphere rushed. As we were the last seating they started washing the kitchen while we were still eating. That was not nice at all. Wow……. I had nearly given up trying to find flavor I loved in Columbia. But this restaurant is one of the reasons I will come back. From the outside at night you would drive right past and not even bat an eye. Your visual senses are overwhelmed as soon as you walk in the door by jars of ingredients and a kitchen on display to see the passion in making the food. The wine pairings are well thought out. All of your senses will be stimulated here. Every dish just gets better than the last. I don’t know how they do it. You would be crazy to not try this place when visiting Columbia. This is one of the best food experiences I’ve had.(Period) Yes they will meet your dietary restrictions. Yes you will enjoy this food. Don’t ask just make reservations.

Its somehow a very famous chain, but we went there for lunch and although atmosphere was nice food was quite mediocre. Its probably more famous with its brunch menu which has local authentic dishes but we have missed it and the rest of the menu was nothing special.

Fabulous family of 12 for 53rd birthday for son in law and 7 yr old twins. Everyone loved the food-lamb, shrimp, chicken and lomo all perfectly cooked and served with a superb garden salad large enough everyone enjoyed some. Good selections of wines albarino and temporally (2 bottles) with nice chorizo and empenadas rather than our usual grilled artichokes as our mouths watered looking at the menu. So full we only sipped cappuccino and Cafe Americano before going home for cake and presents. Rosa as always was especially helpful.

The appetizers (entradas) are really good options. But not the main dishes. We ordered burrata and it's fresh, creative and on point. The main dishes lacked that same level of cuisine. We ordered ribs that tasted more like oxtail, and we also ordered the "signature" chicken 🐔 - this was disappointing because the meat was kind of dry -but greasy at the same time?? Appetizers versus the main dishes. 3-0. It's like they are cooked in a different kitchen. Staff is attentive and well trained. The ambiance and the people are nice. We'd come back for drinks and appetizers for sure.

The menu had a wide selection. We ordered the empanada with mole, which was stuffed and fried but was a tad too salty. The beef arepa also came fried with a side of sour cream. The green salad was fresh but the vinaigrette needed more vinegar, otherwise it was on the sweet side. The lamb stew was gamey and hearty, good gravy. Overall nice ambience and quick service for a late lunch.

Excellent food, I highly recommend the arepas The flan and crumble were also delicious. The service was not perfect, the staff seems like they need a bit more training. There is not an official host so the waiters are taking turns seating people which is not efficient. Also, the food runners brought other tables dishes to us multiple times and the waiters seemed to forget about us after the food was served.

This place is hit or miss. Been here twice and both times the experience has been similar. The servers are fine. Very nice and helpful. You have the option to dine inside or outside. I dined outside both times. The food is where I was disappointed. The presentation of the food gives you hope until you actually eat your food. My meal in particular tastes as if it was cooked simultaneously with another lunch meal. It gave a spicy taste to my pancakes. There are definitely better alternatives than this restaurant in the area. I suggest take your time and find another restaurant.

We had breakfast here. They have a variety of eggs and other local delicacies. They also have a wide variety of tropical juices. I had Tamarind juice and another glass of Corozo juice, and both were thick and tasty. To start, we ordered carimañolas, which are baked/fried small rolls of tapioca flour with cheese, and they were excellent. I had the eggs with cheese and bail served in a clay pot/cazuela, and although they were ok, they were too cheesy for me. My friend had oatmeal pancakes. However, here they don't come with syrup, so you have to ask for honey. I liked the presentation of the food and the place and want to go back to taste other things. I went back and had lunch on my next visit. I had artichoke hearts and baked trout, although it was a bit dry. I liked it but wouldn't boast about it.

This restaurant is in the top 50 in the world and it’s easy to see why. Service was impeccable and he food delicious. I would desire little more flavor but hey for a colombia restaurant it was great. The pan de yuca rolls were amazing, even so much I saved two for the staff at the front desk from JW Marriott nearby as they recommended I try it. Then next was the crab bisque which had lots of crab meat and finally the twice cooked duck, which sent me over the top. I was full and happy so much that I ordered another drink and sipped on that for the next 30 minutes so that my food could digest. Lololol I can’t remember my waiter name but he was amazing. I arrived at 630 so not many persons were there but by 8pm people were rolling in and the atmosphere became much more energetic. Thank you for everything and see next time as I wanted to try many more dishes but I am only one person…haha Ciao

Wow! The service and food here is very good. Our steaks came with a salad and mashed potatoes. The bartenders were very nice and the music even better. Definitely recommend!

Bandido bistro its one of th Bogotá classics, for many years it has offered consistent great experiences with food. Offering a cosy environment to enjoy a great meal or an evening of tasty cocktails with live music. Starters, we tried the Oven Camembert and the Grille Octopus. The fisrt was great, the octopus was good not great the marinade could improve. Main dishes: Asado de tira with gravy sauce and smashed potatoes (criolla potatoes). Good dish, big plate. Recomended with a shared salad. I loved the salad and the dressing a great surprise. The smashed potato’s where also just good. We also ordered the salmon with dutch sauce was good. The fries where pretty good. Desserts: Profiteroles, come with five small profiteroles great to share and chocolate. Red berries Cheese, great sauce and it comes with a huge piece.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. It was not busy. Got seated right away. The staff was friendly. We had some cocktails which were excellent. The dishes were great as well. Very unique and flavorful. Would recommend it.

When we stumbled upon Minimal we had had a day of heavy eating so we weren’t very hungry and only sampled the starters! I wish we could come back and try some of the mains! The starters were to die for, unmissable are the balls of plantain with crab filling and the plantain with octopus and mint! The flavour of each dish perfectly balanced salt, fat, acid, heat, a feast for your taste buds!

Took until my third visit to the city to come here and I wish it hadn't, it definitely belongs in the first tier of restaurants in Bogota. Everything I ordered was very tasty and different, service was helpful, non-alcoholic drinks were good, really couldn't ask for anything more.

Azahar Coffee Located in the very tranquil neighborhood of Los Laureles. It’s a neighborhood cafe with personality. The coffee is excellent and the staff are well-trained, friendly and professional. They have all the information about the coffees they serve and sell written down on cards, if you are interested. They features one of there coffees brewed and if you chose a filtered method, you could choose one of there three varieties. The presentation of the V60 was very nice as well as the espresso based drink. They have a nice selection of pastries and cakes. The carrot cake that we ordered was delicious and above average in quality and taste. We enjoyed this little neighborhood cafe.

This is an incredible spot tucked away in a quiet part of Bogotá. Love the tree lined streets and parks all around. Best part was the coffee though. Finca La Virginia on pour over was truly exceptional. Also did an espresso flight and was impressed by those offerings. Breakfast was good but not quite what I expect in Colombia flavor wise. All around though this place is excellent and service was great too.

Wow wow wow. I knew I was going to get a great meal, I mean it is one of the best restaurants in the world after all. But they exceeded all my expectations! I had some dietary restrictions that made me apprehensive of the tasting menu but the staff accommodated my restrictions by offering me some very unique substitutions! Daniel and Isabella were awesome in explaining each dish. All of the dishes in the tasting menu/omakase were excellent and the presentation was so beautiful! My favorite was the blue crab ceviche.

We have never experienced a feast like tonight at Humo Negro. Coming from a family of foodies, we have been to many wonderful restaurants and often been very happy, but after tonight we are on cloud nine! The food is of course the most important part of eating out, but the service, atmosphere and how the food is presented have an important role in the experience as well. We decided to go all in and ordered the Omakase menu, which consisted of 17 small courses. From the first course to the last, we fully expected there to be at least one that wasn’t to our taste, but each one was simply delicious. Humo Negro not only has master chefs, but artists too. It may seem silly when people take pictures of their food, but as each and every time the presentation was a work of art, we simply could not resist. The service was amazing; our waiter introduced each course in a way that made us excited about trying them, and he was happy to answer all our questions. He and his coworkers were both friendly and professional. If you come to Bogotá and do not go to Humo Negro for the Omakase menu, you are missing out on an incredible experience. We count ourselves lucky to have found this place and are still floating on cloud nine!

Great food at a convenient price. This is a signature restaurant brand in Colombia with over one hundred locations nationwide. Service in this particular location is good but not great. Cozy bread serving is very special. Creative crepes recipes go from very basic ham and egg varieties to complex ones such as the Parisienne and the Sensation Colombia. Portions are generous and waitresses are friendly.

The food looks nice and tastes good for a reasonable price. My issue is that after sitting us down and putting down fork/knives on the table, more than 15 minutes before anyone acknowledges us and asks us what we want to order.

They laughed and said “we don’t have.” I stepped out for a bit, came back, sat at the coworking table, and plugged my phone into my laptop to charge. Waited ages for someone to take my order - only for the security guy to come over and ask me to move to a smaller table. I said sure, but the table was filthy, so I moved again. Then, suddenly, they did have outlets. 😂 Finally got someone’s attention, placed my order, and 10 minutes later they came back to tell me they didn’t have the crepe I ordered. The cherry on top? One of them walked up while I had my laptop out and slid a paper placemat underneath my laptop mid-use. Super disorganized, inattentive, and just bad energy overall. Wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

Just an awesome Peruvian restaurant in Bogota! Off the menu we had the pulpo, the tiradito, the langoustine hamburger and the pesca del dia rostizada. Each one of these meals was close to perfect. For dessert, we then had the Suspiro Limeño and the "El Tumbao", both of which were also extraordinarily good. We also had both a glass of white and red off the very interesting wine list, both of which were very tasty. The service was inconsistent - our waiter did a nice job with recommendations and was very friendly, but the time between finishing appetizers and receiving our main dishes took around 45 minutes. The coordination with the kitchen to time out the meal was a complete fail. Don’t order wine by the glass, they will pour half a glass - you can see the glass of wine in my attached photo, this is what they consider a full pour.

We ordered to share between 2 people: Ajiaco Soup,(33.5k) Cazuela Ranchera(37.5k) and Lengua en Salsa Criolla(42.5k). The place is cute and easy to access. The tomato soup was delicious! Nice restaurant for vegetarians who want a good meal for a fair price. We waited some time to be served but not too long. The only downside was the woman at the register, she was not friendly and ask to get a tip saying it's normal to give 10%. Well yes, it might be normal but you don't have to ask for it. You get it if we feel like giving an extra for service/food, it's absolutely not mendatory and definitely not normal to be ask to left a tip... Was it because we're tourists?

Cute little vegetarian/vegan restaurant that makes hearty and wholesome dishes. Quite affordable for an entree, main and small dessert costing two of us 50,000cop. Was nice to branch out and enjoy some simpler home cooking while traveling for a longer time. Absolutely recommend. Service was fast and friendly as everything is already cooked and they serve you as you go.

I have been getting tired of fried food when I found this gem. I'm not a vegetarian but happy to try good vegetarian food. This place certainly exceeded my expectations. The beetroot soup was so soothing to the stomach and had a slight hint of bitter aftertaste, which I really enjoy. The salad, puree and tortilla filled my stomach but didn't make me stuffed (fried food usually does that to me). I would love to return to try a different menu del Dia (it was 27000 pesos and came with a nice cup of herbal tea).

A must try vegan food if you are in la candelaria area . After seeing Google reviews we tried this place and the owner / chef is very friendly and explained us the menu for the day . Pumpkin soup was so tasty and the herbal tea was the highlight. They also made dessert with tamarind , which was something new for us . Overall great experience and strongly recommend this place for anyone looking for vegetarian food .

Interesting take on Mexican food here. I love enchiladas and was excited to see that on the menu. My enchilada was actually a burrito - no enchilada sauce, and not corn tortillas. The “burrito” was good with lots of flavorful ingredients inside, including moist chicken. I really do like the cheeses they use here in bogota as they are similar to Mexico.

This place is fun, clean, and serves really good Mexican cuisine. We went for lunch, ate vegetarian, and loved it. The outside is painted with loads of cats, and no real signage for the restaurant. The inside is full of natural light, and plants. Highly recommend this as a stop, can't say enough good things about it!

We had some great food traveling around Colombia but Nueve was by far our favorite restaurant. The food is so inventive! We enjoyed the small plates and the opportunity to taste so many different things. Don't miss the crispy rice, crab and peanut butter appetizer. It is out of this world. Their selections of wine by the glass is unparalleled and we loved sampling a few of them. Don't miss this restaurant.

Nueve is definitely a must -try experience in Bogota, you can't miss it. Loved the tapas, it offers a variety to try from different dishes in small portions. It has a mix of Colombian and Spanish flavours. Service was very good, our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. Lovely atmosphere. The wine and cocktail selection is very ample, they really know what they're doing. Loved the napkin menu as well. Also, in order to get in you ring the bell in the house, adorable. It was one of the best moments in Bogota trip for our family. All plates were sophisticated tasting, amazing qualities. We were 3 people (Me, my wife and 10 years old boy). We ordered 4 tapas and 2 small plates and 1 dessert. But we might have had room to order 1 more plate. We would like to enjoy there again. If you go there, you must reserve.

Book in advance (our booking did not go through but the owner personally accommodated us and really look after our evening) The food was well crafted - not pretentious but super super tasty. Rustic, bustling bistro-esque in nature, this restaurant adjacent to its sister Oficial (Rafael Oosterling) restaurant had such a different feel to it but equally merits a visit to sample its delights. It is less formal than Oficial but has its own independent laid back charm with a nice romantic alcove area with panoramic views of its bustling surrounds. There are all sorts influences running through the menu, pan Asian, South American, Italian etc.

Very homey place, very aesthetic for people who like that type of scenery. It is Italian but do not expect the elite ultra mega Italian cuisine. The food is yummy. If I were to recommend a plate it would be the rigatoni of pig. I would argue that the gnocchi are too creamy like way too much, please chill out with the cheese. Overall, pretty good.

Upscale ambience on an upper floor, to be more precise on the fourth floor. Upscale audience, upscale design, upscale prices. Here you are among yourself and are happy that you belong to a society that likes to spend a little extra on food. But it was really of excellent quality and can only be recommended. The octopus and the Mediterranean steak in particular tasted excellent.

Delicious, food, great atmosphere and decoration, excellent service. We tried 3 different starters and enjoyed a lot, the sardines bruschettas, the burrata and the artichoke, delicious. Also had amazing fetuccini Nero, it was really good, also the lasagna with asado de tira, wow, deli! Their cocktails were good too, tried the Signorina and the Limoncello ones. I highly recommend this place, very reasonable price for the full experience you get.

The only place I came twice in 5 days in Bogota, and have come on every trip to Bogota so far. Incredibly charming atmosphere and the food and drinks are thoughtful, good, and affordable. I wish I lived beside it. (I particularly liked the brioche with rhubarb jam this time around).

Talk about a unique place!! I only knew about this place due to it being a friends favorite hideaway! When you approach the unassuming bulding, you don't even know what kind of joy they have on the inside! The place is set up with a relaxed feel with plenty of natural lighting and the entire room was spotless. Bright colors and smiling faces filled the establishment and the smell of small batch coffee, pastries and empanadas wafted throughout. They have a diverse menu so you can stop in for just coffee or you could even stay for a full meal. They also have a very cool outdoor seating area (my favorite) that makes you feel like you are relaxing in the rainforest. I highly recommend this place and will make it a part of my routine for me as well as my friends! Se you soon!

Good pastries in general, the plain croissant really nailed the proper texture, buttery taste, and balance between crunchy and soft as well. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the pain au chocolat, I had the highest expectations (for the price I am paying here) only to get the filling with huge chunks of very hard chocolate, not the proper chocolate sticks, needless to say the dough for this one was stale and soggy. I would not mind this in another place but if this bakery takes pride in their pastry and charges high prices, I expect high quality as well. Other samples we tried were decent. Overall, I would try more things to give it another chance, but found this to be overrated.

Who knew a French pastry shop in Bogotá would make some of the best empanadas we’ve ever had? Les Amis offers a wide range of flavors, and of course, we tried every single one. The secret: French butter. It gives the empanadas a delicate, buttery richness that sets them apart from the local style, which tends to lean more savory. The shop itself is tucked inside a house, don’t hesitate, just walk straight in. Love their cute outdoor garden setting!

Absolutely loved this Sunday brunch joint! Don't let the location fool you, it's surprisingly charming and with good vibes once you get in (both in and outdoors seatings, and you will have to wait a bit as always a queue). There is an attractive menu with various sweet and salty options, and plenty of drinks. Staff all friendly and smart, and customers of all kinds (some very chic people) and dogs are allowed. Tourists should especially check it out when you are near this area in Bogota!

This was our favourite restaurant in Bogotá! Amazing ambience, great decor (very young vibe and hip) and the food was absolutely divine! We tried a couple of dishes to share and they were all incredible. The same goes for their staff, super friendly and very helpful. We had the chance to see an artist playing in the premises and it was just charming. Would definitely return and will definitely recommend it to everyone.

I am overdue on a review of this place. I found this place when I first moved to bogota and fell in love with the space, the ambiance and the food. Do make reservations, cocktail menu is amazing, customer service is always attentive and they complementary. What I most enjoy is that they have their classic dishes but always are offering other options based on the season. I miss it and can’t wait to go back, but I can also recommend their delivery menu which also provides that good service and eclectic options.

How the mighty have fallen Julia is a restaurant chain specialize in making brick oven Pizza and other Italian dishes. As you enter the place, you are directly welcomed by nice and friendly staff. The place is cosy and the lighting create a relax mood for intimate conversations. I had the Marinara Pizza, which was just delicious, crunchy and full of flavour. My wife had the Melanzane Alla Parmigiana which was watery, lacking taste. It looked like to aubergine had been boiled in plain water instead of being fried. Following my nice experience (with the pizza), I decided to order a pizza from Julia. The Pizza arrived quickly, within 30 min. However, we received a very poor Pizza that day, nothing to do with the Pizza I had previously. It was chewy, the dough was not cooked properly, and it didn’t have any flavour at all. it was so bad that I had to throw it away as no one in the family, even not my kids who love Pizza couldn’t eat it. I just felt robbed that day for the price I paid! Julia has lost our custom permanently.

We are bringing our family to get in touch with the coffee culture in Colombia, this place offers all methods of coffee brewing, and they produce an amazing coffee. We loved the demonstration of the methods and the coffee, not so crazy about the cappuccino and my son ordered a hot chocolate that never came. Overall a nice experience, I would recommend going for the coffee itself, not the fancy add ons

A speciality coffee in an unexpected location. Really good V60 with a cascara-like taste and a strawberry finish. A decent espresso (good taste and smell, the presentation could be a tad better). Cappuccino had a bit less foam but still tasted really well. Nice staff too.

This was the perfect way to end our tour of the Gold Museum. We were able to sit down and enjoy one of the best coffees ever.

The coffee is great, but a few people find it a bit bitter. In my opinion is one of the best coffees in Colombia. The cakes are delicious and the savory options are good as well. You can but coffee in two presentations and they also have other souvenir options. You can but a great brand of water.

This was an absolute surprise for me. After ending my tour of the museum, saw this empty coffee shop and I asked for a cup. I started reading the brochure they had at the counter and started thinking I had encountered something special - when I finally started drinking it, I realised how truly special it was. This is an excellent coffee and without a doubt one of the best in the world. It’s strong and with some unique aromas. Obviously they have a wide variety to choose from. Totally recommended this coffee and this shop.

The waiter is very polite and the food was traditional and good tasting. I definitely recommend this to everybody, the prices are a bit high but worth it. I wouldn't eat steak here just traditional dishes because for steak there are better options in the neighbourhood. Compliment to the cook :)

Another great bakery in Bogota with fresh sourdough bread, a great selection of foods and a bright interior (+ a nice outdoor patio). I’ve been to this Masa multiple times and really like it for their food and atmosphere - both for breakfast or lunch. It’s one of the nicest Masa locations I know and has lots of seating and is always bustling with people. I would give it 4 stars, just because there’s a few things that could be improved. The main thing is service. Despite seeming to have a lot of staff, it takes a long time to order and sometimes we had to ask multiple people before someone took our order. And no one comes by again to ask if you want any additional food or drinks, even if you’ve been sitting there with empty drinks or table for a while. Usually I don’t care so much, but I really noticed it here. Regarding breakfast, I really like the shakshuka (with an extra order of bread) and the avocado toast. The pancakes looked really nice as well. I tried the French toast - it was ok, but not my favorite. When it comes to drinks, their coffee is good, but their almond milk isn’t the best. It was foamy, but it made the coffee a bit bland in my opinion. Aside from that, I can highly recommend everything from their bakery. The bread is really great!

The best scrambled eggs I have ever tried, so moist and fluffy. The sourdough bread and pastries are all very delicious! They have everything you need for a perfect brunch. Highly recommended. Jeisson was our server the first time I visited and he was amazing. Diego was my server the next day ( I had to go back again) and he was very attentive and so very patient with our large party. Thank you team MASA for the high quality products and service you provide on a daily basis. Keep up the excellent work!

Best pastries and coffee in Bogotá. This place became a favorite to us during our visit to Colombia. They have a good variety in their menu for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Pastries are awesome as well as their coffee. Kudos to Ivan, the barista, as he is quick, crafty and know what he is doing (the only one in charge of the coffee area with hundreds of orders per day and he delivers!). Breakfast burger was a favorite as well as the fruit bowls, fresh squeeze mandarin juice and French toast. Great quality and great service. Keep it up Masa, we'll be back!

The food is very flavorful and balanced, each dish we had delivered a different play of aromas. The cocktails were well crafted, the card offers classics and new creations. The wine card is neatly arranged with an overseeable selection, it is possible to order some of the wines by the glass. The service was friendly, attentive and motivated. Overall you receive a great price to pleasure ratio, from a European perspective the dishes are fairly priced and sized in a way that will not leave you hungry as in other venues. One star deduction in Ambiente since their were some signs of wear and tear visible in different objects. The place is shared with an indoor golf business, golf apparel is sold in the entrance area, which I found odd and unbefitting. On the other hand due to the elevated location of the restaurant the view of Bogotá’s north is spectacular. Looking forward to my next visit.

The service by Joseph at Oda was perfect, always close attention to Detail and prompt service. I felt welcomed. The good news as great, farm to table and tasty. Cocktails were simply the best, I’ll definitely return next time I’m in town. It’s underrated so take advantage before it becomes popular.

Honestly, so disappointing. I am simply and utterly disappointed. My party was 7 people and they had the most uncomfortable table that was clearly made for 4 people. We asked if they could help us out and they did nothing! Even though there were empty tables around us. Since this restaurant is new it’s paining to rate them so low but the food was just not it. One of the pictures attached had half the plate empty which, I’m not a food critic, but I think is terrible! Add something to the empty space, the presentation is horrific! It just feels like this restaurant is trying to find their identity and they haven’t done so. It’s very difficult to understand what they want to be, the waiters said that they suggest that the plates be shared which is odd because the plates looked like a regular meal and not something that is meant to be shared. The taste was mid. Do better.

I was excited to visit this restaurant as it was recently added to the list of the 50 best restaurants in Latin America. Oda is located in a neighborhood that isn’t particularly known for upscale dining - so it’s a bit of an anomaly in that respect. They have a menu focused on Colombian ingredients and “comida de autor”. Our server did a fantastic job explaining how much food to order and even recommended some incredible drinks. And every time a dish arrived the staff was very friendly and thorough in explaining each component of the dish. The dishes were good - I especially liked the Orellanas - mushrooms served two different ways with onion ice cream and onion broth. We also ordered the chorizo, the fish tartar, the arroz caldoso, and the cola de res. In all honesty the food was a little underwhelming. The presentation was beautiful, but the textures and the flavors didn’t impress us that much - at least not enough to feel like we were eating in one of the 100 best restaurants in Latin America. I wound still recommend this restaurant to anyone - the dishes are creative and innovative, and the drinks were really good. I would just recommend people come with realistic expectations.

An old 2 story building, essentially open air, with multiple independent small kiosks. The food focuses mainly on typical Colombian cuisine; various soups, ajiaco, meat dishes. A couple of fresh vegetable kiosk and one live plants kiosk. It is typically crowded at lunch. Not all of the food kiosks are open during the weekdays but all are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Parking is available and there is adequate seating.

Perfect place to sample local dishes, albeit they can be quite pricey in comparison to other places. Not much options for fruit / vegetable stalls but we enjoyed our time here nonetheless. Samples ajiaco for 22,000 pesos then the day after a mini bandeja paisa for 20,000 pesos as a menu Del dia which was reasonable.

Used to buy at least twice a week bread and cookies but went on Sunday and noticed they are using cheap ingredients which changed a lot the flavor, is not tasty anymore and even some neighborhood bakeries are baking better for a cheaper price

I love this place for everything breakfast, snack, lunch or dinner. The bread is delicious you can buy for take to your house. The dessert is delicious. You can find the best cake at very good price

I used to come here regularly before the pandemic but had not been here since then. Sad to find that their menu had shrunken (desmechado sandwich doesn't exist any more),prices went up (too much), portions are smaller and food quality has declined. Sad to say that based in this visit I will not be returning as regularly as I used to come

Good beef, "Doble bombo" nice taste, they are missing a little bit of attention in regards to waitresses.

This fully vegan restaurant is a fantastic spot for comfort food lovers! The menu leans a bit on the greasier side, but everything we had was really good. The birria was hands-down the favorite—it’s a must-try. The portions were on the smaller side, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing since it keeps you from overindulging. The atmosphere is definitely unique, as it’s more of a punk bar/hangout spot. The music was a little loud, but it fits the vibe they’re going for. Service was on the slower side, but given that it was a weekend night, it was understandable. Overall, a fun place to enjoy great vegan comfort food!

I had one of the top 3 salads that I have had in my life here. It was their pear salad. Also had a very nice drink that was like a whiskey sour but used Lechee fruit that was also very good. They didn't play any punk music but instead they did have some nice new wave type music which I also enjoy. Great place with two thumbs up from me, I could eat that salad many more times before getting bored

I am not sure what punk food is but this place certainly has amazing grub. The fact that the cuisine is vegan is just a plus, in its own right it’s just plain delicious. Even non-vegan guests in our party truly enjoyed it. The decor is obviously punk and seeing it from outside I would not have thought of going in but I had heard great comments. And I’m glad that I did! We tried the tacos, bruschetta, risotto and deserts. All amazing. Staff is friendly too.

Oh what a find this place is. Punk + Food is exactly what they are. Let's start with the music. B-52s Love Shack, emf Unbelievable, David Bowie and more. We ordered a few appetizers. Portions are on the small side but very tasty. Cool decor inside, especially in the walls. All vegan. Enjoy!

Hot Dog: good flavors and textures, though the cheese was salty Birria Tacos: decent Mushroom Sandwich: good. The bun and mushrooms were warm, and the aioli went well with the mushrooms. Nachos: decent

The food is incredible! I’m not vegan, but tend to lean that way and randomly found this place because it was close to the hotel. We went here two nights in a row for dinner. That’s how much we loved it! I’m bummed we didn’t make it again before leaving. Check it out if you’re in the area and love good food and punk music.

5 stars! From the service, to the delicious flavors, and to the very affordable prices. Fully vegan menu and huge variety to choose from. Freshly made to order in an open kitchen that you can actually watch them cooking. Lovely place and their service is really nice too! You can also pay by credit card.

Another great vegan prix fixe menu. Had a carrot soup. Loved the mango without any added sugar, the way I like it. The crepe stuffed with quinoa and mushrooms with a thick tomato sauce and green salad was super. Found many fun and unusual things in the tienda, including some used clothing and a backpack. Got some healthful cooking ingredients in bulk and hygiene supplies. Found some dried Guásimo fruit that smells amazing: earthy, dusky-sweet and dark red if you know what I mean. Now to find out how to prepare it. I'm thing to add to the whole flor de jamaica flowers for tea that I also got there.

The atmosphere is really nice and the food is also tasty (especially the cakes) The price of the menu of the day changes every day. Today it was rice with salad and soup with potatoes, mais and shrooms (0g of Protein) unfortunately a lot of dishes have nearly 0g of Proteins :( Yesterday the menu of the day was way better and cheaper (Lentils, Tofu). As I dietician I could help make the menu better;)

The restaurant is very nice and they are very kind there. The menu del dia is amazing but it is different every day and the first day I went it was amazing 5/5 stars but the second day it was more expensive and not as good and rich as rhe first day, so I was a bit disappointed. Anyway it is a wonderful place and I can recommend it.

I loved the hour or two I had here: great food, nice people and a really chill atmosphere! Wish I’d discovered it on my first day in Bogotá rather than the last day as I would have come back!!

I visited Nativa in spring of 2024 which is located in a historic district of bogota! Our server was catalina she was great! We started with some water with some lemon, then chose the “ensalada de la huerta” (great choice in my opinion) a big portion for 2! Then we had the “hambuergesa waia” which honestly feels like the cleanest burger i have ever eaten! And for juices we had guanabana and gulupa which were super delicious! And for dessert we had the “crema helada de frutos rojos y cacao” absolutely out of this world!

Very sorry to say that I was really disappointed by the quality of the food today. We were with 3, and all the buns of our burgers were extremely dry and tough - we were hardly able to cut through them at all and nobody finished theirs. Also, the texture and flavour of the patty was bland, and the potatoes were quite hard, and served without any sort of salsa or sauce. The waiter was friendly but he took ages getting our water. The patio looks beautiful and the shop is cute, but honestly for the food I would never return.
