McKay Cottage Restaurant is a charming eatery located in a converted 1916 Craftsman-style bungalow, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere for diners. The restaurant serves up classic comfort dishes with a unique twist, including their famous McKay Cottage potatoes and delectable croissant-style French toast. In addition to the mouthwatering breakfast fare, the on-site bakery produces an array of baked goods and desserts.
McKay Cottage is better than the reviews say! The food and wait staff were both absolutely wonderful. My wife and I started off with a Pecan Sticky Bun, Marionberry Bread Pudding, and some Lemonade while we waited for a table. After a brief and relaxing wait, we were seated in a quaint outdoor gazebo/tent which offered a nice reprieve from the lovely sunshine. We then ordered the Biscuits and Gravy—which had the most flavorful sausage gravy I've ever tasted smothered on top of the best biscuits you'll ever taste, along with some perfectly crispy potatoes and homemade ketchup–as well as the Carnitas Hash—which had the perfect balance of pepper, tang, and savory of any hash I've had in years! Josie was our waitress, and she was perfectly attentive to our needs and was extraordinarily kind. We will be back again, next time to try out the delicious cocktails!

Yup, the food is good. Flavor profile abounds. Seating is tight, and the service is splendid. We arrived for breakfast and was told it would be 25 to 30 minute wait. They offered a comfortable outside waiting area with free coffee. The wait was only about 20 minutes. Perfect execution of under promes and over deliver. Hard to mess up breakfast, and they did. not. Bacon was crispy. Eggs cooked as ordered. Potatoes were over the top good, crispy without being greasy. Scone was OK, not all that, but serviceable. Parking is a bit of a pain, but it is worth it.

We enjoyed our breakfast here on a recent weekend visit to Bend. The food was very fresh and the portion sizes were very much larger than I thought they’d be. I definitely too much food. This is a nice spot but be prepared to spend quite a bit. We sat out side and the weather was perfect and the seating area was very accommodating.
Andrew — Google review
My family and friends ate Sunday brunch here while on a weekend trip to Bend. The staff were super friendly and the waiting environment outside was excellent. We loved the free coffee and fireside seating. Once inside, we sat outside and really enjoyed the cozy blanks on the chairs. This blanket feature was the most enjoyable and unexpected aspect of our meal. The food was plentiful, but arrived slightly cool and seemed to need extra salt to enhance the flavor. Not sure if we just got a bland batch of dishes, but we were surprised that we needed to request extra salt. Overall, this dining experience was delightful and highly recommended despite the seasoning deficiency.

Had the pleasure of dining with a lovely lady on a nice fall day in November. We had Sunday Brunch in early afternoon with a few couples and groups waiting ahead of us. However, a 20-minute wait in a comfortable seat with something to drink in a nice setting seemed fine, no problem. The food was amazingly delicious! It was all I could eat, and my date took some home. The atmosphere was sunny and bright, nicely decorated, and appropriate for semi-formal dining. The service was totally, absolutely awesome! They really took care of us! Recommended! Will definitely return!

My wife and I stopped here on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We were early enough that parking was easy and didn’t have to wait for a table outside. We ordered a breakfast burrito and French toast. The burrito was huge! Both meals were delicious. Our server was so kind! They gave us to go coffee cups!

⭐️ Brunch Bliss🌟 I had the lemon ricotta pancake topped with fresh berries, with a side of crispy bacon, eggs, and a caramel latte. I thought it was going to be a sugar overload, but it had just the right balance of lemon and sweetness. The pancake was light and fluffy, and it paired perfectly with the savory bacon and eggs. The caramel latte added the perfect cozy touch to finish it off. Everything was delicious and beautifully balanced, such a lovely way to start the morning ☀️
Victoria M — Google review
I tried the lemon pancakes along with a chai latte lightly flavored with vanilla, and both were absolutely wonderful. The pancakes were perfectly fluffy with a bright, refreshing taste, and the latte had a comforting, smooth flavor. Everything made for a delightful breakfast experience.

The Sparrow Bakery Northwest is a popular and lively family-friendly bakery located in Bend. Established in 2006, it has become a must-visit destination known for its signature item, the Ocean Roll. This cinnamon roll-shaped pastry made from croissant dough filled with cardamom and sugar is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The bakery offers an assortment of home-baked goods including Parisian macarons, coconut macaroons, and other pastries.
Popped in to see what all the hype is about. What's this whole "Ocean Roll" thing?🤷🏼‍♂️ Got mine to go cause I don't got time to sit around with all you people! Well... Well it's pretty awesome. It's like a croissant and a cinnamon roll had a baby in an East Indian spice market! 🤯This one item could be your whole business plan. Maybe it is? I'll probably never know cause every time I come back I'll be getting the same thing, "Ocean Roll please" 🙏🏻💥🙌🏼. Sooooo good 😋😋😋!
Carl O — Google review
This bakery opens at 8 AM, and by the time we arrived around 8:10 AM on a Sunday, there was already a line for orders and a few tables were taken. So, if you're on a tight schedule, I’d recommend coming as early as possible. We ordered the Ocean Roll, both bacon and non-bacon sandwiches, and a cappuccino. The coffee took a while to be served, so keep that in mind if you're in a rush. The sandwiches were good, and the croissant was fresh and flaky — though a little seasoning on the avocado would have made it better. I didn’t personally enjoy the Ocean Roll, but my husband liked it. It was fresh with a sweet, subtle cardamom and cinnamon flavor. The place itself is cozy and beautiful, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
Anu R — Google review
The food is as good as they say it is, the ocean roll and coffee are really great, and the breakfast sandwich with arugula aioli is almost an experience on par with eating mac and cheese for the first time. Service is astoundingly fast for how much business and orders they take, went on a Saturday morning during a concert series and this place was pumping stuff out. Phenomenal. This place has a great look, and is great to meet up with friends or family, and there are dogs all around the place if you enjoy the puppy pals.

My 2nd time in Bend and this place is a must! The food is so good and the treats even better. This time I got the lemon tart, but last time I got the chocolate caramel one and it has lived on in my memory ever since. I want to try their drinks soon as well. The coffee is strong and flavorful. 10 out of 10
Megan W — Google review
It could not have been any worse. I hardly ever write negative reviews about local businesses, but this one really annoyed me. We were brought to Sparrow Bakery by people who had spoken highly of it. There was even a line out the door and lots of people seeming to enjoy their food. I walk in with my family to look at the menu and am taken back by the prices. I wanted to wait until I had had a chance to dine here to see if they were justified, sometimes portions can be large. We order our meal which was a bagel w/ lox, seasonal fruit cup, and poblano breakfast muffin and wait. 15 minutes go by and still no food, although others in our group had gotten theirs. We ask a girl behind the counter who says it is being made right now. According to her, "The fruit bowl is being prepared fresh for us." Another 15 minutes go by and still no food. I go to ask her again and now with an attitude she says they lost our ticket. She offers to make our food now and to refund it but says it will take 5-10 minutes. Within 2 minutes this pathetic little cup of fruit is brought out in a coffee cup. I attached the photo in case you wonder what $8 will get you here. I have seen better presentation on an airplane. Then the food finally comes out, pretty sure my sandwiched was microwaved 30 seconds before as it had the chewiness of a leather glove. The bagel and lox had pickled onions on it, as if we were having tacos or something. The same girl brought our food and could not have been ruder. Not a single ounce of remorse. I don't know if she was having a bad day, but it was some of the worst customer service I have seen. Even if it had come on time, the value is just not there. I am sure people will keep buying it though. Just not me.
Chris H — Google review
Have loved this place for years, but the life span has apparently run its course here. I tried to order the famous Ocean Roll, but was told they were sold out. Then the people two spots behind me in line throw a fit and mysteriously 6 Ocean Rolls appear from the kitchen. But that's not the end. We ordered a hot Matcha latte, wait 20 minutes, and found chunks of unprocessed matcha powder floating throughout. The food arrived, 48 minutes after ordering, the breakfast sandwich was the third monstrosity to arrive. The bacon was burnt black, the aoli was a joke and there was enough arugula to feed an army of rabbits. Then there is the croque. Essentially on Wonder Bread. Uncooked Safeway ham and burnt black cheese meet enough mustard to cover an Octoberfest. RIP Sparrow, we won't be back.
Bradley B — Google review
Very impressive to see how packed it was at 8am on Sunday. lt almost felt like it's the only breakfast place opened in Bend. It was so busy that all available tables was left dirty for next customers. Very delicious sandwiches!.
Monika S — Google review
Excellent bakery, espresso, friendly staff. Clean and tidy. A lot of 4 tops, and space for individuals working on laptops. Main complaint was the crowding at times... there was a kibe to order. Go figure!

Zydeco Kitchen & Cocktails is a vibrant downtown restaurant and bar that offers a casual dining experience with a touch of Cajun influence in its American cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on using the freshest organic ingredients to create an eclectic menu with Southern flair. Diners can enjoy dishes like filet au poivre, vegetable risotto, and shrimp etouffee in the chic interior or on the patio.
Zydeco is one of my favorite stops when I'm in Bend. The executive Chef Eric has an impressive resume working internationally on his culinary journey from the Savoy in London to the Bay area, Portland and finally in Bend. The mission is to bring Southern hospitality, service and culinary influence right to your table. Sitting at the bar, I witnessed him have an excited exchange with a local patron about ordering the first dish of a special entree he had devoted limitless time and effort preparing. The passion is evident in his food, presentation and customer engagement. The food and cocktails are delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The restaurant has a smaller footprint and is very popular so I would definitely suggest booking ahead. I like sitting at the bar which is first come first serve but I think it only seats about 10. There is also expanded seating that has been added outside to accommodate demand. Go early and bring your appetite.
James D — Google review
Most of the food was great. While our waiter was really attentive, he didn't bring one of our drinks (admittedly, we didn't notice). Also, the drink descriptions fail to say that a shrub has vinegar in it. My redfish was wonderful; so were my wife's ribs. The chocolate cake was pretty dry and boring.
Rod T — Google review
Our neighbors gave us a gift certificate to go have dinner. My wife and I were excited About going to dinner here again and it had been a while and it was a little noisy, but we expected that my wife had the grilled halibut and I had the shrimp jambalaya. Our appetizers were very good. Best margarita that I’ve tasted in a long time. Service was very, very good for dessert. We decided to get us a piece of carrot cake to go and split it when we got home. , we should’ve gotten two pieces of carrot cake the carrot cake for dessert. Highly recommended.
Leonard A — Google review
Loved our food and entire experience! Our servers (if memory serves, Jordan and Dustin) were both personable, attentive and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend the bbq shrimp appetizer, bread, pork chop and redfish.
Claire J — Google review
The pork chop here is easily the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and full of balanced flavor. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff works seamlessly as a team, and it makes the entire dining experience outstanding. You can tell they’re true professionals, and it shows in every detail. We stayed in Bend for four nights and tried several restaurants, and Zydeco was absolutely one of our favorites. Great cocktails too!
Kevin W — Google review
5.? Star food. The best Red fish and crab I've ever had. If you are in Bend Oregon, this is a must stop. Right downtown, great service and even better food. You'll never be disappointed with the menu options here. Enjoy a bottle of wine because 1 or 2 glasses will not satisfy.
Paul L — Google review
Everything was wonderful!! Service was amazing and everything we order was fantastic. As I am sure everyone else has said get the bbq shrimp app, it is delicious!
Amber W — Google review
We had a fantastic meal here. The restaurant definitely lives up to the good reviews. The cocktails, including the strawberry spritzer and some semi sweet bourbon Drink were excellent. We started with the shrimp and grits for an appetizer. We also ordered bread. For entrées, we did the fillet and the redfish. The fillet was excellent with a fantastic sauce. The potatoes were some of the best au gratin potatoes I’ve ever had. No matter what I would recommend getting those potatoes with your entrée. The green beans with fillet were a bit bland compared to everything else. The red fish was fantastic and well cooked. For dessert we had the Keylime pie, which was also very good. I would definitely get the shrimp and grits again as well as any entrée with the potatoes. Service was excellent. Parking is a challenge in downtown Bend, but there is a nearby parking garage. Reservations would be recommended for indoor seating.

Cafe
Sisters Coffee Company - Old Mill is a stylish coffee shop located in the Old Mill District, offering house-roasted coffee drinks and a selection of light lunch options such as pastries and sandwiches. It's considered to serve some of the best coffee in central Oregon, making it a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. The espresso is particularly praised for its smoothness, making it a great choice for those looking to indulge in a quality caffeine fix while shopping in the area.
There will most likely be a line in the morning when they first open. This location is cute, and quaint. They have a wide variety of drink and food options. The staff are kind and knowledgeable. There is seating available, but it fills up fast. This is located within the Old Mill outdoor shopping mall so there is plenty of parking, which means that they are typically pretty busy! The mocha I ordered was fantastic and their breakfast options are delightful. No bathroom inside the shop, but there is one just around the corner, behind the store for public use with multiple stalls for the ladies.

Popped in for some coffee here in Bend. It’s a cute coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Great for people watching as well. They also have pastries that looked amazing!!
Kim T — Google review
Sisters Coffee Company is a great place for breakfast/lunch. We haven't tried their coffee but considering the amounts of people that came over to buy coffee in the short time we were there I can imagine it being very good coffee.
M. M — Google review
A good breakfast place for coffee, pastries and breakfast items. Friendly customer service. It can get crowded inside, not much of a seating area so kinda difficult to find seating. They have outside seating though and great for warm sunny days. They have cute merchandise like T shirts, sweatshirts, coffee and paintings and prints for sale.
Rica C — Google review
Found this place while visiting the area, the coffee is excellent. Where ever they source their beans , the taste , flavor profiles and acidify is just right! I was bot able to try the food but the drip coffee is some of the best I’ve had on the west coast. WELL DONE!
Mike E — Google review
Great place to stop by if passing through bend. Very chill and relaxing, there coffee is good, along with there tea. I haven't had a chance to try many other beverages, I can say the scones were definitely something to try. I love savory scones, so I'd recommend that. Beautiful place, lovely people, and more to walk around and see after stopping here.

Great Coffee Spot in Bend. Highly recommend. Can get super busy on the weekends. Apple Crumble Muffin is really good here.

Convenient location from our hotel! I ordered the Avocado Toast when I wanted the Fall special, Spam Bagel. I thought I was making the healthier, though maybe more bland, choice. NOPE! I could eat that avocado toast every day of my life, so delicious. The radish was the perfect touch. Coffee was outstanding as well. Service was kind and friendly. If I lived nearby, this would be my new "go-to" place.

Jackson's Corner - Old Bend is a popular all-day dining spot known for its local, seasonal meals and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant offers sidewalk seating and a kids' play structure, making it a great choice for families. It's famous for its in-house baked bread and brick-oven pizzas, but also stands out as one of the best brunch spots in the city with a menu featuring tough choices like avocado toast, huevos rancheros, and house-made sausage breakfast burrito.
It is an excellent place for breakfast, I loved it so we came twice for breakfast. Delicious house made sourdough toast , awesome biscuits and gravy, nice coffee. Light and laid back atmosphere. Fast friendly service with a smile, reasonable prices.

Food came out super fast. I like the dog friendly seating. Out pup had a great time knowing his pawrents enjoyed their meal.

Jackson’s Corner on Delaware Ave was a great dinner spot! This was recommended to me from a coworker and I’m so glad she told me! Originally, I wanted pizza but decided on the burger. My husband got the 50/50 fettuccine. My husband said this was the best pasta he’s had in a while. He loved the taste and homemade noodles. My burger was cooked perfectly and the burger sauce was really good! We sat outside, there’s plenty of seating. There’s also a great variety of drinks and dessert. If you’re going with a group who has different tastes/cravings for dinner…this is the spot! Lots to choose from and the food was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, too! We went on a Wednesday, so it was a little more quieter. Now, we need to try the brunch!

Consistently lovely and delicious after all these years—always such a treat to visit Jackson’s Corner! We had the special—a Cobb salad—and a regular salad off the menu—the Jackson’s Blue. Both were fresh, flavorful and delicious. A couple of coffees accompanied by a salted chocolate chip cookie and a wonderful conversation left is satiated and heart/happy. Thanks, Jackson’s Corner, for the quality and consistency you always provide for the community! PS. The artwork and atmosphere are wonderful as always too. 🩷🩵💚

Fun place to chill. Good menu options. Not just the normal. Enjoyed breakfast with good thick bacon, fresh-cut fruit and berries, & great sourdough bread. Waitress was nice and packed up our cinnamon rolls to take home.

Honestly came for brunch but could've stayed for anything else my heart desired! They have coffee drinks, wine, craft beer, beer on draft, gelato, what appears to be a clay oven for pizzas. They have It all. Want to sit inside, check, outside check, want free bed samples and in-house made hot sauce and siracha, check. I got the brown sugar shaken espresso and the breakfast sandwich with sausage and it was amazing. My brother got the rancher's bloody Mary which he said was out of this world as well. Well done Jackson's corner

We came here for an early breakfast. We got reservations, but I don’t think they were necessary at 8 AM on a Friday morning. Definitely later in the day it got busier. We tried the breakfast burrito and I thought it was excellent. We also tried the breakfast sandwich which I thought was average. I would probably not get the breakfast sandwich again, but would definitely get the breakfast burrito again. We also tried the cinnamon roll, which I would skip next time. Parking is limited with only street parking available.
Jeff P — Google review
Not impressed. We were traveling through Bend, it's 11:00am, we haven't eaten today and we're hungry. Dee finds Jackson's Corner on her phone. She likes eclectic one-offs, so we gave it a chance. It appears to be the only commercial venue in a neighborhood setting. We ended up parking curbside a few blocks away. No problem, it's a sunny day and we don't mind the walk. For 11:00am it's a little busy, and we figured out after a few minutes that this was counter service, not table service. There were multiple pages on the menu but most of it was taken up by beverages: beer, wine, and coffee. The food offerings, I thought, were limited. We stood in line and placed our order. She ordered Tuscan White Bean soup with sclice of "Country Loaf" and potato salad. I ordered a Grilled Chicken sandwich with "fermented jalapeño-honey sauce. Even at 11:00 it was hard to find a table inside. We ended up sitting at one that had yet to be cleaned from the last patron. And then the wait... Although we weren't keeping time, we both noticed how slowly the food was in coming. We both felt we waited for 30 to 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Let me make this simple, the jalapeno-honey sauce was the highlight. Everything else was sub par. Clean bathroom, though.

Chow is a charming eatery that offers locally sourced American cuisine in a comfortable setting. The menu features top-notch ingredients, including breakfast options like the Crabby Patty, Caesar cornmeal pancake with poached eggs, Blackstones crusted tomatoes with eggs and bacon, and the Locavore omelet. For lunch, visitors can enjoy a variety of delicious options at nearby eateries such as Jacksons Corner, Parilla, Spork, the Village Baker or Chow itself.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Located across the street from Newport Market. Great selection of Breakfast and Lunch items. Ate eggs, potatoes, sausage and pancakes. Oh so good. Waitress kept filling my coffee cup and making sure breakfast was perfect. Located in remodeled old house that was in great condition and well decorated. Check this place out.

Birthday brunch. We had a bit of a wait, but the owner came out & sat down & chatted with us. We loved the warmness of the staff. The food was delicious & our server posted the photo she took of us on their social media site! They had a cute intimate bar & outside seating with a fire pit. Definitely a “go to” while visiting like we were.

Food was really greasy and tasted unsafe. We could not finish the food brought to us. The atmosphere was dirty and smelled bad. Service was fine, wait on food was very long.

The veggie hash was not good, they took bunch of veggie that were boiled before and just threw on plate, plus added some potatoes and poached eggs. I did like crab cake. After spending $24, I was hungry 2 hours later. They were severely understaffed. But food is the main factor, why I’d not come back or recommend this place.

We've been here a couple of times for breakfast. Mostly because I like to give every restaurant a second chance. The food really isn't that great for the price. Like a lot of places in town, they try to fancy the food up too much. I believe most people are like me and a good, consistent, simple meal. I can appreciate the fact that they make a lot of their meals and bloody marys from scratch, but for me, there are plenty of breakfast breakfast joints in town way better and cheaper. Service is great here. For me, the food isn't.

Come here annually when my parents visit from the east coast but this time was particularly disappointing (I wish I had read more recent reviews on the changes from other patrons). Our waiter seemed less than enthusiastic to be working and admitted to forgetting to put in our order despite only being the third table in the restaurant. 40 minutes later our food arrived but despite indicating from the start we were splitting food burrito came unsliced. While the food was good for the price the service and wait time were worth it at all. Lastly, ordered a London fog which was served “deconstructed” providing me a tea bag, cream, and syrup had I know that’s how it would have been served I would have ordered something different.

Food was excellent. That said, you could tell they were having a rough day. Told us 30 minutes wait, then took 1.25 hours. Then another hour for our food. We saw several people sat after and get their food before us. Once we got everything it was delicious, server was doing her best. Just don't be in a rush or have a party over 4. We were a party of 6 and it was probably our undoing.

Very disappointed by Chow. We waited an hour to be seated, then another 15 minutes to order drinks (even though there were plenty of empty tables around us). Bees everywhere. We had to remind our server to bring us our drinks, and he admitted to us after waiting another 20 minutes that he didn’t put our food order in, and asked us to tell it to him again- so unprofessional and disorganized. When we got our food (30 minutes later) it was cold. We boxed it up to take it to go and reheat it at home. Had to wait 15 minutes for him to cash us out and box up our jam. Never got the jam after asking three times. A waste of money and more than 2 hours of our time. The only consolation is that he comped one drink and the food was decent once we heated it up at home. Seems like this place used to be good then went downhill recently. Do not recommend!!

Beautiful view on the back deck. The good is delicious and the service is very good. We had our dog with us and we're able to have some grilled chicken prepared for her (unseasoned) that was done perfectly. Our meal was delicious. We will definitely return here when we are in Bend.

We came here for breakfast and were seated right away with almost no wait time. Our order was taken about 10 minutes later, which was reasonable. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing — the meat was dry, the toast was burnt, and the eggs were overcooked. The only things I enjoyed were the potatoes and the tea. That said, the atmosphere is lovely. The restaurant is located right on the riverbank, which makes for a beautiful and relaxing setting.

After 5+ years living just up the hill from this restaurant/hotel we decided to try it out. We had an awesome table outside by the river, our server was prompt with good suggestions. The meals and prices are like a great brew pub -- better than almost all of the brew pubs in Bend -- with a good beer selection. Wine is also available. We are happy. We will be back soon.

Food was delicious, the place is so cozy it’s like eating in a cute cottage. Fries were so crunchy!!! Food took a small wait but very worth it. My sister loved the pork belly mac and cheese. And the fried chicken burger was amazing! It was really like the perfect place for my birthday dinner!💛

Location by river is great. Service was attentive. Food was ok overall but overpriced. Ordered the Salmon dinner entree for $41. Tiny amount of salmon (about what you might get for $10 - 12 elsewhere as an option on a side salad) with some mashed potato’s and corn. Very disappointing. See Picture. Chef apparently was unapologetic and indicated to waitress in response to our inquiry that salmon prices were high so they have reduced portions. Wish they had let us know that in advance. There are far better places in Bend that will provide great food and good sized portions at a reasonable price.

I had the Meatloaf sandwich, it was good and very filling, the toasted bread was probably the best part of the sandwich, ig was golden crunchy. My wife had the Eggs Benedict, she loved it and thought is was amazing and the sauce to it to that level. I thought it was a little on the bland side.

Bar & grill
Nestled in the picturesque Old Mill District of Bend, Oregon, Greg's Grill offers a woodsy-chic dining experience with stunning views of the Deschutes River. Specializing in wood-fired meats, this American restaurant serves up contemporary Northwest cuisine including rotisserie prime rib, steaks, and chicken cooked to perfection over an Applewood and mesquite-fired grill. The architecture is as impressive as the food, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and beautiful woodwork.
My wife and I stopped here on our way home to Seattle. We got great service from Esme and Jason. I ordered the Mushroom Carbonara and my wife got the Sunset Salmon Salmon. Both dishes were delicious. The Mushroom Carbonara was interesting in that instead of noodles it had finely sliced cooked cabbage. I took the leftovers home! Esme was BUSY but did not leave us unattended and was helpful in picking out dishes to try since this was our first time here. Near the end of the night Jason stopped by and shared some fascinating history of the area including the conversion of the powerplant. The restaurant was nicely appointed, has a great view of the Deschutes River, and has nice outside dining. The building, location, food and service all came together to make it difficult to try another restaurant next time.

A truly succulent prime rib, cooked to perfection. Tender, juicy, and oh-so-easy to cut. Every bite felt like a celebration of meat mastery, except for a little too frequent occurrences of the fatty bits. The potato? A little underwhelming. It had all the toppings but still screamed for some sour cream. The sauces though… Scrumptious! Service was spot on—attentive, friendly, and quick to keep the glasses filled. The atmosphere was good but a bit too open. We were lucky enough to snag a good view. Otherwise, it can feel like a diner experience with fine-dining prices. Overall, great service, solid dish. Only sorry questioning if the bill was worth the sale.

I had an excellent gluten-friendly chef meal while enjoying their fun view and rustic-chic ambiance while taking a short vacay. Haven’t been here since pre-Covid and I was pleased that the food was still top-notch. I asked them to have the chef make their special Chicken Carbonara meal gluten-free by sub-ing their cabbage noodles and it was superb. The sauce was creamy and flavorful (no flour), the chicken was cooked perfectly and they didn’t scrimp on the crispy bacon. The side Caesar salad was crisp and dressed in balance - enough dressing to enjoy the delightful flavor but not smothered in it.

I use to like Greg’s grill. The location is nice, it’s right next to the river. But the food and prices are not super great. Kinda average overpriced food with a view. Not what you would want when you’re going to such a beautiful location. The service is terrible too. I just ordered some happy hour nachos. It took almost 2 hours to get them and they were soggy but the time they came. I was kinda just wanting a nice place to have a cocktail and people watch so the food wasn’t priority. They need to up their game needless to say.

Beautiful spot to eat in the old mill, great views. Our waitress was kind but was off with customer service, I was told I could not substitute fries for anything, so I had to order a separate salad. It was not busy for a Friday night, and when we left, there were several servers and hostess standing around a table talking and eating food it seemed unprofessional. The food was mediocre, starting with calamari (a bit undercooked) for our meals.we had fish and chips very greasy, sitting in a puddle of oil and not a lot of taste to it. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly but needed some seasonings. Ribs were just ok. I was disappointed that the menu I researched online prior to going was not the menu they had available. There are so many amazing food options in bend that we will try out next time.

Ariana Restaurant is a charming gem located in a cozy Craftsman bungalow, where inventive New American cuisine meets classic European influences. This delightful eatery prides itself on sourcing the finest local ingredients, resulting in a menu that changes with the seasons. Guests can indulge in exquisite dishes like wild cod and clams or filet mignon, all crafted to highlight fresh flavors. The restaurant also offers an enticing six-course tasting menu for those looking to embark on a culinary adventure.
I was impressed by the meticulous flavor profiles and carefully curated drink pairings, which included n/a option drink pairings as well as an elevated reserve list too.. This culinary experience stood out as one of the best I've had in Bend, making it an absolute must-visit on a quarterly basis, at the very least. The service was impeccable, and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my visit. The setting was notably intimate and semi-secluded, yet adjacent diners were friendly, enabling brief, polite discussions. The restaurant, located in a residential house, was quiet, with muted comments of appreciation for the presented dishes. I merely wish we had an establishment in my current hometown such as this, although I do not believe it would be as highly valued by the type of clientele my town has to offer as patrons. So, for now, I'll be coming back and making it a part of my regular rotation on my quarterly visits.

Kara is da-bomb! I drove three hours from Happy Valley just to eat here—and let me tell you, it was worth every mile. I didn’t stop for fast food because I saw this spot had bone marrow and lamb on the menu. Yes, I planned my whole day around this meal. 😋 From the moment I walked in (in a sweatshirt, flip-flops, and ashy feet, okay?!), the host welcomed me like family—even though they were only taking reservations. That alone deserves a star. 🙌🏾 Now the food… MELTED in my mouth. The timing of each dish was perfection. You get to actually savor the flavors, take a breath, and then enjoy the next plate without being rushed. Everything was fresh, rich, and flavorful. Keto-friendly too! 💪🏾 Zero complaints. The service was kind, patient, and never once made me feel less than—even though I wasn’t dressed like the other patrons. That kind of hospitality matters, especially in areas that aren’t super diverse. If you’re looking for a date night spot or just want to treat yourself to something special, this is it. Add this to your must-try list. The food, the vibe, the people… all five stars from Glitter G!

We love this place for entertaining clients or date night at the bar! The food is incredible. Our server Todd is top notch - friendly, fun, professional, and takes time to get to know the patrons. Try the carpaccio appetizer- it’s SO good! We will continue to come back - it’s a one of a kind gem in Bend.

After a long hiatus, I recently returned for dinner at Ariana and was pleased to find it was good as I remembered. Even for my seat at the bar I made a reservation 30 days in advance. You'd be advised to book early. After the amuse-bouche I started with the Dungeness crab and then the beet salad. Both excellent. Then on to the Halibut for the main. Also excellent. Loved the morels. Enjoyed a couple glasses of Walter Scott pinot noir during the course of the meal. Service and staff professional and friendly. I hope to be back!

We visited Bend and are SO glad we got to dine at Ariana while on our trip. Top notch food, cocktails, wine, service, and vibes. We did the chef tasting menu, several life changing dishes! I highly recommend this place to anyone in Bend.

We were the most excited about Ariana’s when we set up our visit to Bend and it didn’t disappoint. Todd was our waiter. He was great as you’ll see in other reviews. The food was so special and delicious. The accommodated my husband’s garlic allergy easily. Everything was top notch. We will be back when we visit Bend again and talked about how if we were locals we would totally have a standing weekly reservation. Do yourself favor and trust the chefs menu. My husband didn’t go that route because of his allergy and was still super satisfied.

Eclectic restaurant
Spork is a lively restaurant that started as a mobile kitchen in 2009 and later expanded to a permanent location in 2013. This casual venue offers lunch and dinner daily, featuring a diverse menu influenced by global flavors from Latin America and Asia. The culinary team uses high-quality local ingredients to craft dishes such as pork carnitas tacos, fried catfish, spicy fried chicken with sambal chili sauce, and more.
Love this place!! Spicy fried chicken has always been my favorite! This place sure has grown in past 15 years! Great establishment and contribution to the Central Oregon food scene. Some of the best Asian Fusion food I've had at a restuarant. This is a popular local spot, but the food doesn't disappoint, there's a reason for it. I love the outdoor, dog friendly seating available.
Lora L — Google review
Spork is what happens when a Bend hiker, a Seattle garden gnome, and a zen master open a restaurant together—and somehow it works. The vibe is part eco-conscious self-serve (hydrate yourself, people, the water station awaits) and part culinary choose-your-own-adventure. It feels hands-on without feeling abandoned—like your cool friend who lets you borrow their kayak but still reminds you to wear sunscreen. Ordering could have been a nightmare given the menu reads like a love letter to every corner of Asia plus a few detours, but the gentleman at the counter deserves a Nobel Prize in Menu Explanation. He not only decoded the dishes for us, but sold us on why people rave about them—like a hype man for noodles. Ten out of ten, would let him guide my life choices. Food-wise: my husband ordered the happy hour chicken sandwich and is now in a committed relationship with it. He still brings it up in conversation as if it’s a long-lost flame. We got the fried cheese, because let’s be real—fried cheese is never a mistake, it’s a life philosophy. I had a noodle bowl that was absolutely incredible. Drinks? Let’s just say we “accidentally” upgraded happy hour to full-on cocktail hour. Zero regrets. In conclusion: Spork Bend is quirky, delicious, and unforgettable. We came for happy hour, we stayed for the food (and drinks). We’ll be back faster than you can say fried cheese forever.

Great food and cozy vibe! We got carnitas and chicken tinga in tacos. Both the tacos were amazing. Dan Dan noodles were delicious too. The Szechuan pepper kick flavour kicks in with first bite! Spicy fried chicken is a must try. The chicken was crispy and the sauce was tasty. The Tampico sunrise drink was great.(not in pictures ). Overall a very good spot for fusion food in bend 😍 there was a long line when we went in at 8 pm but it’s worth the wait 😅
Sushmita K — Google review
This spot is eclectic, savory, and delicious. The menu is primarily Asian influenced, but they also have tacos and other specials. My companion had the beef and broccoli, which he thoroughly enjoyed (though it had a surprising amount of lemongrass). I had the shrimp and pork belly curry, which was bursting with flavor and a good variety of ingredients. The consistency was very liquidity which is not my preference, but it was so rich in flavor that I still give it a strong five stars. I also really enjoyed the punch cocktail with a rum of blends, tea, and apricot liqueur. The service was order at the counter and partial self-service, but it was friendly. The ambience is casual zen with plants and a slight bohemian feel. Great place to stop on your next trip to Bend!
M B — Google review
The best place we ate in Bend! While having a more casual feel the food was anything but. Despite a busy evening and a long line, the staff take tote drink orders and deliver them to you while waiting for counter service! A lovely touch. The food itself was delicious, nom ish, and full of flavor. From the crispy cheese bites, seasonal melon salad, and incredible Szechuan Dan Dan noodles, every bite was wonderful and we simply couldn’t stop ourselves.

We celebrated our anniversary here. Very busy, lively atmosphere. Staff were friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Loved how they asked about any allergies. The food was tasty and perfect portions. Highly recommend the crispy Brussel sprouts and crispy chicken. Can’t wait til we can return to Bend and try other menu items.
Suzi B — Google review
Tasty and interesting dishes, but it's a bit loud and there's often a long line to order (you can't sit until you've ordered). The pork taco was the best, as the chicken taco was a bit bland and the shrimp taco had too much going on with it). The dandan noodles were somewhat like what I've had in China. The member of our party who ordered the banh mi asked for the spicy parts on the side, and they were able to do that. The kids liked the kids versions of the chicken rice bowl and chicken and pork. Most of the dishes are a bit small, so most adults need to get more than one thing. The pandan flan was excellent, and the coconut tres leches cake good too. We had to stand a while before ordering then being seated, but we were there early enough that the wait wasn't inordinate. The restaurant is rather noisy inside. Some people like that atmosphere, but I think it was too much.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner. The service is great and super friendly. It's a very nice place. Not a whole lot of sitting room but they make the best of it without you feeling to crowded. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the vegan gnocchi and we split a cedar salad. The salad was great! If the croutons they used weren't house made, I would be shocked. So yummy. Highly recommend. Definitely want to make reservations if you can, but they do very well with walk-ins.

So ... The fried chicken came highly recommended and that was my initial plan... Yet as the door opened my eyes caught something that was definitely not fried chicken... Short ribs... Oh yes ... But first let's talk about the Bang Bang shrimp... Crunchy and full of the kind of flavor you can imagine yourself eating again and again and again... Oh yeah... Dungeness Crab Toast... Sweet lovin Jesus... A person might want to consider this ... Perfectly toasted and heaping with a most delectable crab (semi spicy and soooooo good) Finally... The short ribs... So tender you don't need to try to chew as it falls off the bone and melts in your mouth... Hat's off to the chef who blends elegance and simplicity A standing ovation to the staff who exuded class and comfort You feel special Taken care of Fed well... What else can I say? Oh yeah ... Enjoy!!!

We had a lovely dinner for two in a very warm booth yielding a comfortable ambience at Drake. The pomegranate vinaigrette dressing had just the right balance of sweet and savory, which gave the delicata squash and candied pecans their own cameo amidst the crisp greens and cherries served with the little gem salad. The Mac-n-cheese featured cavatappi pasta cooked to perfection, dressed in a satin coating of delicious cheeses that gave new meaning to the word savory. The main attraction was the filet mignon, dried to absolute perfection, cooked to our preference, and underpinned with an eye closing, moaning moment of pure gastronomical bliss when forking the shmeer of soft potato along with the baked potato side into our mouths. We closed the ensemble with the Drake chocolate mousse cake which was so incredible we ordered two. And surrounding this entertaining and pleasing dining experience was an incredible serving staff that paid attention and cared for our water and drinks and answered our questions with a smile on their face. In particular was our server Colten, "like a Colt 45", who cared for us from arrival to departure as if we were a guest at grandma's dinner table. We would wholeheartedly come back again to experience all that the Drake has to offer and more.

Husband recently reserved us a quaint table near the rear of this historic restaurant. The vibes were just right; full bar, open kitchen to watch the chefs cook up our meal right in front of us, aromatic & delicious scents wafting from the kitchen. All good signs. The real nail in the five-star review coffin for The Drake was the moment the Fried Chicken platter hit our table, which my husband ordered. It inspired the following remixed bars from the hit song, “Not Like Us,” by Kendrick Lamar… Please enjoy: “Say, The Drake, I hear you fry it up nice That bird so crisp, had to hit it up twice Donut holes slap, and the cocktails stun Five stars easy — yeah, that’s the one” I would like to point out that I do NOT rap. I am 5’10” and am very aware that I am a very white woman. But the fried chicken and honey-buttered biscuit was so good that it made me feel like I COULD rap. Also, the donut holes slap. I would slap a child for more of them. And that’s saying something cuz I tend to be very motherly toward children. Definitely try them. 10/10.

Amazing food!! We had breakfast: drake Benedict, croquet madam and the donuts. All very delicious and large portions. We sat at the bar looking into the kitchen and it was entertaining watching them cook! Just know if you need something you'll probably have to wave down the waitress. Had to do that each time we needed coffee, water, silverware etc. They did take the donuts off our bill since it took a while, but they were busy. We would go back!

Pretty packed on Sunday before Labor Day. Seated within a few minutes. Menu is very small and simple. Service is friendly. Crowd seems casual with families and couples. We tried the crispy chicken sandwich. It was a thick cut of chicken fried to perfection. Seasoning on it was a little lacking for some reason. Fries were shoestring style and mildly seasoned. Overall a good place. Kind of steep pricing but I see everything in Bend is very expensive.

I travel for work and have eaten dinner in 49 states. This is top 5 place I have eaten at. The food and service was beyond what I expected. I ended up getting the king salmon special and it was cooked perfect, a very generous portion size, and the sides were homemade. The Victorian Café, affectionately known as The Vic, is a laid-back eatery in Central Oregon that offers a diverse menu of refined breakfast fare and creative food combinations. Since its reinvention in 2002, it has become an institution known for its legendary Bloody Marys and award-winning 'Manmosa' crafted with Victorian Cafe private label champagne. With patio seating and a full bar, it's a popular brunch spot for both locals and visitors.
Hefty portions, savory goodness, and coffee like a waterfall. This place has hype, but it is deserved. Also, they have many good things, but the hash is super duper good. Service was absolutely amazing and very thoughtful, and the ambience is like you are at your g-ma's house and she is an amazing breakfast cook, like too good.

Dog friendly patio scored the most points, lol. In all seriousness, the service, food and atmosphere was amazing. The patio was covered where we sat, and had a strong overhead heater. The staff was super sweet, was nice to our dog and made sure we always had water and coffee. The food came out promptly and was delicious 😋 The Bloody was loaded, highly recommend.

We arrived on a Tuesday morning about 30 minutes after opening and there was only one other table with customers, so not busy at all. I would describe the Victorian Café as an ok spot, but overpriced. A cup of VERY strong black coffee for $5, and a breakfast plate for $20. Flavor was fine - nothing novel or unique, just good food - but portion sizes were underwhelming. Basically not a great value. Also, I was looking forward to a scone, but they didn’t have any made that day. That was disappointing. We may try them again, but there are several other spots in town we’ll want to hit first.

The food was amazing, I had the eggs Benedict, which was my first time trying it, and I was very happy with my choice. The ham and the potatoes were very good as well. For my drink, I had the citrus strawberry lemonade, which was refreshing. I was not a fan of the service. The hostess was not very friendly. She sat myself and my two sisters in the sun. On a very hot day, when there were other spots available with shade. We asked to move, and she said it was fine and didn't help us move our waters or utensils or menus. She simply walked away. We waited about 2 hours to get our food while we saw other people being served that came after us. This was my sister in laws birthday brunch we planned for her, and it was disappointing.

Experience brunch goals at the Victorian Café in Bend ✨ We snagged a sunny patio seat on a crisp fall morning and went all in—Green Hornet omelet, fluffy French toast, and the star of the show: a blood orange Mid-Mosa (yes, it’s a bigger mimosa, and yes, it’s glorious). Perfect food, perfect service, perfect vibes. Highly recommend adding this Bend staple to your brunch list. 🥂🍴🍂

I visited this restaurant for breakfast and it was really good. I arrived just before it started to get busy. People were waiting outside to get a table once our food had arrived. The waitress was nice. The portions are big, so come with an appetite. Parking can be a challenge, so be prepared to walk if the parking lot is full. They have indoor and outdoor seating, so that is an option. I would eat here again.

A lil disappointed by how long everything takes here. Waited at least an hour for a table...ended up being sat at an empty table we had looked at for at least 20 minutes. Drinks came out quickly but food was over an hour for Breakfast... since Bend has so many restaurants most likely will not be returning to the Victorian Cafe. Breakfast should not take more than 2 hours.

I’ve been told from menu that this restaurant has 30 years history since 1995, it can be tell it was very successful restaurant, everything is solid built and black bear themes reflect in details everywhere. Hope it can continue another 30 years, even competing with so many new styles of restaurant, the solid build country style restaurant always classic.

Went here once when I was in CA. Was pleasantly surprised to see that there was one here as well. Great vibe, great food and excellent portions. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Will always be on the look out for this restaurant chain on my travels.

1st time trying this establishment. I was very happy with tri tip meal. I wanted a home cooked meal while traveling. Gretchen was my server, she was so sweet and kind with excellent service.( Lady with wig stuck in umbrella😂). I definitely recommend it touring for a great tasting and nice portions.

It was packed in the restaurant. Long line for Wednesday at noon. Any way I ordered the Sweet cream pancakes and Two eggs , chicken sausage. The pancake were seriously delish! Eggs were perfect and I also ordered a bowl of Grits! Fantastic with honey and butter. The sausage was very mild. Service was good , considering they were understaffed. Overall I got what I wanted and it was better than expected . You can’t beat that.

Carey was amazing! We loved the ambiance and country feel. And the food was delish!

I've know I said this before and I understand the concept of your menu style. But it makes it very confusing and overwhelming to try to order from especially if you've never been there before. It looks more like a frontier newspaper . Other than that the food's always been great. Our service was fast. The staff the are always welcoming and friendly. And the atmosphere and was pleasant.

This black bear diner was very middle of the road in terms of food quality, has the salmon and it was overcooked. Salad had some tomato’s on it that tasted like they were on the verge of being too ripe. Service was phenomenal though, my waiter was really nice and efficient. I think they just need a better cook in the kitchen and some better ingredients.

First of all, give Tiffani a raise asap. She provided the absolute best service I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. I think this BBD location was having staffing issues for the past year or so, as I made a few visits where there simply weren't enough people working to provide speedy or effective service. My visit today indicates that is no longer the case, as the restaurant was fully staffed and seemed to be humming along as you would expect. I like the food here. It's definitely above average in the realm of diner food, and it's always consistent. The downside is that it's more expensive than eating at your average diner. This place isn't that cheap - I think I paid $18 for a small chicken fried steak, two eggs, and hash browns.

Brother Jon's Public House, located on Galveston Avenue in Bend, has been serving family-friendly pub fare since 2009. The laid-back spot offers a wide beer selection, including local favorites from Bend breweries and outstanding ciders and wines. It's a popular spot for watching sports on TV while enjoying classic pub eats like burgers, ribs, spicy buffalo mac, and steak frites. The full bar keeps guests happy with delicious drinks such as blueberry cider.
I came in around 9 at night and was excited to try the "Best Mac and cheese in Bend", and I was very happy with everything. I'm glad I ordered the buffalo Mac and the tots which came with 5 good dipping sauces including the extra sriracha. I ate more than I intended, but everything was so tasty! The service from Nicole was even more impressive, kind, personable, fun, and always smiling! She offered a free cider sample to help me decide (without me asking), and for my birthday brought out a fantastic brownie sunday with heaps of whipped cream, ice cream, chocolate and carmel sauce... It could have fed 4 people!! And since it was my birthday I actually got the Sunday for free!! I'm excited to come back already, and since they are open until 10 every night, I will come here again and again! Thanks again Nicole, you've earned a customer for life - you and the restaurant deserve 6 stars!

The Bison Smash Burger lived up to the recommendation—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The crispy edges of the bison patty paired beautifully with the melty cheddar and tangy pickles, while the Bomb Sauce added just the right amount of kick. The fresh toppings and soft bun tied it all together, making for a seriously satisfying bite. Definitely a burger worth coming back for!

We came here because the wait across the street was 45 minutes and we were hungry. I had the bison burger and it was wonderful. My dinner guests had two different Mac and cheese dishes and one liked and one totally didn’t like theirs. We also had the buff and blue fries appetizer and it was delicious. They have a decent selection of beer and wine and some cocktail options. We did not try the cocktails. We had beer and it was cold! Waitress was super busy but did a good job taking care of us. It seems like a little local hole in the wall place but it was good.

Place was good. Limited on parking though. There a Bar for fun drinks and table to eat and enjoy. First time there too, felt very welcome and good vibes. Great workers there. I recommend for anyone!!!

This place was recommended by a local and I cannot say enough good things about it! The turkey melt, clam chowder, veggie burger, and fries were perfect. We tried the rum pear cider and Paradise lemonade - both were exceptional. The service was spectacular- friendly and attentive enough to make you feel welcomed without being intrusive. The only regret is living out of state and not being able to visit regularly.

Appetizer advertised as Jumbo Buffalo chicken wings. I got half wings and half drumsticks. 6 of the smallest wings and drumsticks I have ever seen. 1 star for that . Definitely not as advertised. Drink ordered was very weak as well. Other entree was good. Fries and BOMB sauce always good. Big let down today from one of our Go to restaurants.

The restaurant's intimate setting and exceptional service make it popular for special occasions and romantic dinners. The French-trained chef creates delicious menus using local, seasonal produce, ensuring that every visit brings a delightful surprise.
$100+ We had an incredible meal here! The scallops are some of the best in bend, cooked perfectly with a sauce that is to die for. The bone marrow with caviar has a beautiful presentation and was creamy and rich and decadent. The escargot was also delicious. We also had the duck and the mushroom pasta and that pasta was something I’ll be thinking about for a long time. Definitely recommend sitting outside—their hidden patio is such a sweet gem.
Melissa H — Google review
I’ve lived in Bend for ten years—and I’m kicking myself for not finding this place sooner. I can’t gatekeep this gem or the good time we had. Yes, this post is a scroll,—the food part is coming, I swear. Vibes, this place has got them. Three different dining areas, each setting a whole mood. Bar: Modern & cozy—perfect for catching up or flying solo Main Dining: Dark, moody, mysterious—with tree branches wrapped in twinkle lights. Very “enchanted forest after dark.” Now for the Pièce de Résistance… HAPPY HOUR. 4–6 PM, daily. Anywhere in the restaurant. If you thought the days of tempura-fried green beans and Teres Major steak bites were behind us (don’t make me bang your head 900 times on the WALL—if you know, you know). Add rosemary fries and just surrender. Everything was heaven on the palate. The happy hour menu may be small, but it’s mighty—and totally nails it. (Still can’t believe it runs until 6 PM-yay) We were a party of two and ordered one of everything. Zero regrets. Full and happy. They’ve got a full bar and some seriously thoughtful specialty cocktails—including mocktails, for the sober-curious or the designated driver hero. Yes, it’s a cloth-table kind of place, but it’s super chill and approachable. No need to get fancy unless you want to. I can’t believe my outdated idea of a stuffy fine dining spot kept me away for so long. Jackalope is not that. Perfect for date night, drinks and bites with friends, or celebration. Shoutout to our server Hannah—fun, friendly, and full of insider tips. (Ask about the secret crostini Trust.) I’ll be back. The house-made pappardelle with mushrooms has my name written all over it.

We had a very nice dinner last night at The Jackalope! The garden is beautiful and relaxing. Sea scallop and bone marrow appetizers are amazing, drinks, duck confit, morel risotto, everything was cooked perfectly! The lemoncello creme brulee and strawberry shortcake were a wonderful way to finish our meals!! Hannah was so friendly and attentive, but in a leisurely way so that we could enjoy conversation and our meals comfortably. Highly recommend The Jackalope Bar & Grill for your next nice meal out!
Lisa K — Google review
Honestly, I wanted to like this place more than I did. It is charming and lovely. Server was quite nice. We were over- charged for a couple things, which at this price point isn't really okay. More importantly, the steak dish I ordered was cooked so unevenly it wasn't really worth it. For my $160 with ONE drink and no wine...I was expecting much more and much better.
Kast G — Google review
For our girls’ weekend we did it right: Marriott beds, stand-up laughs, and gourmet indulgence at The Jackalope Grill. Let’s just say—by the end of the night we felt thoroughly spoiled and absolutely bougie (worth every bite). The food? Absolute perfection — familiar favorites, but with bold, gourmet twists that make you slow down and savor. The drinks were crisp, balanced, and exactly what we needed after a day of pampering. Even our waitress gave the whole evening a touch of Hollywood—she could have been a young Laura Linney’s twin, and we loved it. ***Gluten-free friends, rejoice: they had thoughtful options for me, and I left full, happy, and symptom-free. They make indulgence feel safe, special, and deliciously bougie.

I absolutely loved my experience at The Jackalope! The staff made my birthday feel special with their kindness and hospitality which went above and beyond my expectations. Our server was thoughtful enough to surprise me with a glass of champagne to toast with 🥂 I ordered the French Margarita and the Steak for dinner, my drink was perfect and cute! My food was super yummy and the steak was melt in your mouth delicious! We can't wait to go back to try another item on the menu, it was hard to pick one they all looked amazing. I'm a big fan of ambiance and both inside and outside were great mood settings, again was hard to choose, both were very inviting.
Megan M — Google review
We went here for a post proposal dinner and we felt so incredibly welcomed. We received a handwritten note from the owner congratulating us. We got the butter plate to start and it was to die for. Super smooth and just perfectly salty. Our entrees were their specials of the night. We got a shrimp and a lamb dish and they were perfect. Absolute must stop if you are looking for delicate but delicious food and a very intimate environment.

Great Restaurant! Upscale, great for dates! Staff is friendly and well-mannered. The menu is small but the food quality is excellent! I highly recommend it, and I'm a very picky eater. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms, ribeye, and chocolate cake. Everything was well made, great flavors, worth the price. The atmosphere and overall vibes are sophisticated without being overdone. It's kind of an outdoorsy feel. Girls, you can definitely wear your cute date night outfit here!! We were traveling, so I went a little more casual.

Came in over the weekend, and the coffee was delicious! Cute atmosphere. Quick and friendly service. The croissant and breakfast sandwich were very good. Great selection of pastries. We came here on the recommendation of the local, and we see why! Thank you.

It was my first time visiting Bend. The area was beautiful and everyone was so friendly. The café seemed really popular because people kept coming in. I loved the local vibe. I had a chai latte and it was delicious. The pastry was great too. Next time I’m in town I definitely want to try their coffee.😋🥐☕️❤️

What a nice place to enjoy their coffee, one of the best I have tasted. Their croissants was tasty and was just baked perfectly. A little treat for us, if you are in Bend, this is a must stop and try joint.

We stopped by this coffee shop in Bend, OR and had a great experience. The baristas were really friendly, ( these girls were really skilled, and hardworking) The coffee was excellent,my wife loved it and the chocolate croissants were amazing. There are 2 hours of free parking nearby, which made things easy. Beyond the coffee, the hospitality from the people here in Bend really stood out.

Love this place! Coffee is excellent, pastries are divine, and the staff is welcoming. My husband and I had an oatmilk cappuccino and a cold brew and bought beans. Loved the beans so much we came back for more.
Natalia S — Google review
Thump is an exceptional coffee shop in terms of espresso execution as well as roasting quality—I tried the beans at home, and they were the best flavor I'd had in quite some time. It's comparable to Cat & Cloud in Santa Cruz or other world renowned shops. The employees at this location were extremely friendly and talented (espresso pulls) on Sept. 29, 2025, when we visited. Overall, I’d give this place a 98/100. Because I’m fairly particular when it comes to espresso, that score doesn’t come easily, yet Thump truly earned it!

I mostly give 4 & 5 star reviews, but this place deserves the highest praise. Excellent coffee: perfect espresso, perfect drip, excellent steam and foam. Excellent Pastry & Snacks: I had their breakfast sandwich, multiple pastries, cookies, and muffins… I could not find a less than great thing. Excellent Staff & Vibes: their staff was super kind and helpful and easy going which created a great vibe for the place and space. This is peak coffee shop.

Sintra Restaurant is a cozy and brightly-decorated Portuguese cafe that offers omelets & sandwiches for breakfast & lunch. The Portugese food here is definitely unique, with flavors that are just as delicious. You can try it out at their Bond Street or Sunriver locations. Their breakfast menu features items like the monte cristo sandwich, the Portuguese benedict with linguica sausage, and the Francesca breakfast sandwich with dijonnaise.
Coffee, pancakes, waffles… and one of the best Bloody Marys I’ve had in a while! Everything at Sintra was super fresh and hit just right. It’s the kind of place you want to linger — great vibes, cozy atmosphere, and staff who make you feel right at home. Perfect for a slow brunch. Definitely a Bend favorite in our books.

Didn’t expect such cute Portuguese cafe here in Bend! It was packed at lunch time on a Sunday. Waited a while for our food. They are yummy!

Breakfast lovers, this is a place you want to try! The Portuguese Benedict and Linguica Scramble were portioned well and full of flavor! Though the main dish was hot and fresh, the potatoes were well cooked but served cold/barely warm... that's the only reason 4 stars were given rather than 5 on food. We'll be back!! 😜.

Sad to have to wait 45 minutes for food that I could barely chew (the French toast) I’d have been better off making my own breakfast at home… Only thing I liked was the atmosphere and my tea. Bend needs more breakfast places! :(

Came for the Cuban Sandwich. Was very disappointed. No flavor, came with chips. For the price was a waste. Also had the Prego that was like eating a onion cheese sandwich with next to no meat that had no flavor. When ordering the guy was not friendly an when asked about food he just said it's on the menu. Didn't seem to either know the food or didn't want to talk.highly don't recommend lunch here.

The menu features a variety of steaks from different farms in the western United States, including the Japanese Hokkaido A5 Wagyu known for its exceptional marbling and tenderness.
It’s a pretty small spot with a little seating downstairs and a bar plus a small room on the second floor. The service was just so wonderful and the food was killer. They really went out of there was to make it special. I had the salad as well as a flank steak. My side was the papas Bravas. AMAZING. I really don't need to say anything else other than go try it yourself. Complimentary glass of champange for my birthday, bread, steak, truffle fries, and a Margarita. Everything was the best, but the steak was the best I've ever had. Service was outstanding! We didn't have room for desert but were brought 2 chocolate balls covered in cocoa, and it was just enough for a little something sweet at the end. 10/10!

It’s great, you can tell everyone works hard to make a pleasant experience. I love an open kitchen, as chef I love seeing what’s happening. We only ate pre dinner menu and it was outta this world. Head chefs fry bread was the highlight of my date night! Compressing a Cesar salad?? Huh? AMAZING Bartender was knowledgeable and polite. I will be back.

Great place for date night… good service and great food. And I like how cosy and warm the place is. Lotsa warm wood. We had the char siu as a starter - highly recommended! The side salad was fresh and acidic … perfect paring for the smoky fatty meat. Am not a wagyu fan so we went for the butcher’s cuts… and they are yums! The bavette and hangar steaks are just so tasty and nicely done - well charred outside and just so flavourful, tender yet chewy in their unique way. The bavette was spectacular. The patata bravas are well roasted on the outside and just potato-ey and soft inside. Divine! We brought our own wines and had fun chatting about wines with our server (whose name I forget). Perfect for a steak dinner. Thank you for having us. We really enjoyed Bos Taurus and would love to be back!

Had one of the best dining experiences TO DATE and best first wedding anniversary we could have hoped for by celebrating at Bos Taurus. So grateful for the staff and service for the most memorable evening!

Probably the best New York strip I’ve ever had, done to medium rare perfection. They present a tray of steak knives to choose from, all with stories. Oysters melt in your mouth, fabulous sides. Great spot for breakfast burritos and iced coffee. They roast their beans in house. The burrito is STUFFED. You will walk away feeling full and happy. Wonderful people working here too. The outdoor seating area is so peaceful. Shaded and plenty of tables. Giving 4 stars as I asked for avocado to be added to my burrito and I found just 1 single slice of avocado. Decent coffee, but experience does matter. We said “thank you” multiple times. Once after receiving our drinks and then after we finished we said “thank you” as we left. We didn’t even get eye contact or any acknowledgment of any kind. This was just at closing and we paid with a gift card, still left a 20% tip. So idk if they were upset at us. We try to be respectful patrons in general (conscious, kind/friendly, tip well) so to feel like that is enough for us never to want to return. 👎 I try not to leave negative reviews but they were sort of a bummer.

Great coffee, got in around 4pm and the barista was very helpful to choose and modify the drink.
Gaurav K — Google review
Meh, unfriendly service and no attempt at latte art on the turmeric latte by the barista. Also, the drink was initially way too sweet so when asking to have it remade, I was met with a bad attitude again. If I was the owner I’d be keeping a keen eye on this location. Many other great coffee shops to visit in Bend. Maybe just a bad day ?
C B — Google review
First the good. The place has a nice vibe, clean and jamming. Coffee is good, but we only did drip, so can’t speak to specialty drinks. Staff is nice and welcoming. The bad - as stated place is jamming, and only two people working the bar. They make a show of making the drinks, all good, but with a line out the door, maybe save that for another time, or hire more people so making a show doesn’t cause a long wait. Won’t go back unless I have tons of time and want to sit.

Loved this little cafe! Their pesto quiche was delicious! The Zebra Mocha was yummy too! I tried the mango-peach-pecan scone and didn’t like it, it was too large and flour-y. The staff are really nice and the glass art in here is so cool!!

My friend had a birthday cake that was raspberry chocolate with chocolate buttercream frosting and it was UNREAL. Not only was it the most beautiful cake I have ever seen, it was hands down the most delicious. If you’re looking for a specially made cake, I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s so, so good!

I love Nancy P's and try to stop by whenever I'm in Bend. Their pastries are huge and delicious. I got the raspberry chocolate scone today and it was rich yet not too dense, perfectly fluffy. Really a delightful treat. The cardamom iced Americano I had was also good.

Nancy Ps feels feels like a warm hug from the moment you walk in. The cozy atmosphere, the incredible staff, and the most intentional and delicious food & treats. The owners are the most loving and authentic people. This place will forever be my #1 bakery!! Try the breakfast pockets, sugar cookies, wonder bar, and soups and sandwiches. You will not be disappointed. I also love that they source local and organic ingredients.

I’ll admit, I was a little shocked by the price of my single slice of quiche, and quite disappointed by the three bits of eggshell I found in it. My friends raved about the place, so I kept my thoughts to myself as I worked gingerly through the overpriced, shell-ridden breakfast pie. However, the crust, I’ll admit, was eggsellent. Based on my experience, I probably wouldn’t go back the next time I’m in town. It’s unfortunate, for sure. But that’s how first impressions go sometimes.

We ordered the maple cinnamon roll, blackberry scone and gluten free veggie frittata. All delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and colorful and you’re surrounded by gorgeous stained glass window art pieces and paintings that are for sale. A must stop in Bend.

Shari's Cafe and Pies is a delightful family-friendly chain that offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying classic American comfort food. Whether you're in the mood for fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked eggs, or crispy hash browns with sausage and bacon, this cafe has you covered. Their unique twist on traditional dishes includes creative options like breakfast burritos featuring a special sauce that adds an extra layer of flavor.
We had the greatest experience with Shari's Cafe and Pies in Bend, Or for our wedding. Two days before the wedding they notified us that they could not get a certain flavor we had chosen and offered us the available flavors. The pie we chose in replacement of the out of season one ended up costing more than the original flavor we had chosen and they swapped it at no extra cost to us. All of our guests really enjoyed the pies and so did we! Thank you Shari's of Bend for all of your help! Photo Cred: Lindsy Cheney Photography

We visited super late at night (Saturday night around 11 pm or so), I think there was only 1 waiter, 1 cook and 1 bus boy. I'm sure they were doing the best they could with so few staff members working. It did take a while to get our food, and mine was cold (eggs, French toast). The coffee was fine. We were not sure what they used for the French toast bread, maybe wheat, or cinnamon bread? It was a little weird tasting, not bad "awful", just different.

My omelet was undercooked but also burnt on the outside. The onions and peppers were not sautéed but raw, it was also cold when we got it. The scrambled eggs had shells in them. The stuffed hashbrowns were mushy potatoes and cold. The pancakes were crunchy and burnt but delivered cold. A big waste of $45 dollars. Everything was inedible. Service was extremely slow. The pictures don’t do it justice for how bad the food was. We were afraid we were going to get food poisoning from our dinning experience.

Main reason for 5 stars is because of the waitress named Annie. We came from another local restaurant that we could not 'bear' the service - they were very shorthanded. Walking up to Shari's there was a sign on the door stating they were shorthanded as well but we decided to give it a try anyways (5 in our party). Another waitress said she'd be right with us and that was it. After a few minutes we saw Annie staring her shift and notice is just sitting. She came right over, told us she was not our waitress but would take our drink order. We told her we were ready and she went ahead and took our order. She also brought our drinks and served our food... still staying she was not our waitress. Well, our not waitress (Annie) took very good care of us. We truly appreciate that and give her credit for serving a table that was not hers. Food was great, as you can see on the picture and we even got a free slice of pie (Wednesday special).

Typical‘s sherries restaurant experience. Food took quite a while to get there and no one would say that their order was bad. The waitress was friendly. And for being a late night meal that was nice. The portion sizes seem to be a bit on the small side but like I said it was a typical sherries restaurant experience.

Just went in and they are short staffed but were amazing. They went above and beyond to get me a whole banana cream pie. I did not catch their names. One guy was a manager(pretty sure) and the other 2 girls one with brown hair and one with blond hair were absoulurly amazing They made me feel welcome while running around servicing everyone at the same time. I will be back again for sure. 10 million stars.🤩🤩🤩🤩

I can't give a zero , I ordered the sirloin steak, this is what I got now notice the key fob next to the steak. I asked for the manager waited 15min asked 2 different people to get the manager. The waitress was to busy to help the customer. Had to ask her to stop what she was doing and please take our orders. Now last time we were here we waited 15min to be seated, 6 full tables in whole restaurant we walked out that time ,decided to give them another chance. Never again.

Absolutely AMAZING! Our family was just passing through and we were all craving a delicious meal after driving for almost eight hours. We stopped here and loved the atmosphere. We had five kids with us and the staff was so patient and kind. Our food was served quickly and oh gosh it was delicious. The pancakes were light and fluffy, eggs had just three right amount of cheese, and the hash browns sausage and bacon were cooked just right. We will definitely eat here anytime we pass through on our trips.

Lone Pine Coffee Roasters is a popular spot in Bend, known for its house-brewed coffee and espresso served in a relaxed, industrial space. The cafe offers light fare and sweets, making it a great stop before heading out for activities like hiking at Smith Rock State Park. Lone Pine originally started as a tiny cafe behind the theater in downtown Bend's Tin Pan Alley but has since relocated to a larger space with room for roasting operations and ample seating.
Great coffee, fabulous vibes, brilliant staff. Super welcoming atmosphere with plenty of seating inside and out. Not too loud if you want to study, not too quiet if you’re there to chat with a friend. If you’re there to stay they have ceramic mugs instead of a take away cup. Def 10/10 recommend 💜🩵🩷

Loved this place! Coffee was great! Toasted waffle was great! Server did a great job guiding our orders for the coffee experience we were after since their sizings are limited. Ordered a 12oz cappuccino and he suggested a foamy latte since they only do 6oz cappuccinos. I just went for the 6oz. It was perfect! 😋 Wish we had time to stay longer and have another. Will definitely returned on our next trip.

Hey guys, I’m giving you one star just to get your attention: your plant is screaming for help! Its leaves are covered with a thick layer of dust — it’s suffocating, turning yellow, and drying out from all the dirt. Please, for the love of all that’s green, wipe its leaves! Besides feeling sorry for the poor thing, it wasn’t exactly pleasant to sit under it. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s infested with dust mites — the conditions are perfect for them. This is honestly cruel treatment of a living plant. Why have plants if no one takes care of them? For decoration? Well, it’s definitely not decorative anymore. If you and your staff are too busy, please hire someone who can come and look after the plants. Be kind — even to your greenery. P.S. The coffee is great, the pastries are delicious, and the atmosphere is lovely. But the plants… Please, save the plant!

One of the best coffee shops in Bend! Super casual and relaxed atmosphere! Seats outside or inside. Usually they open up the garage door so lots of fresh air! Mix of people hanging and working on laptops. Nice snack options like avocado toast and pastries. If you purchase beans, you can get a free drip coffee
Matt A — Google review
I'm not sure if this is one of those places that it's worth driving extra to find, but if you're in the area, it's definitely a good non-chain place to get coffee and hang out. They also roast their own beans there. I had the maple iced coffee and it was pretty darn tasty. My son had the cortado and said the same. Was anything home run out of the park special? The staff probably. But that's why I would say not a drive out of your way to go. But definitely a place to hang out if you're local and or in the area.
Samuel C — Google review
Got an amazing cortado with beautiful art and texture. The beans I got I know are going to awesome since it’s roasted beautifully in house! My only issue was when I was getting a drip to go I was kind of given the stink-eye/ugh when asking for a splash of oat milk. It’s TOTALLY awesome that they make their own Cashew-Almond milk so makes perfect sense to not have oat! No big deal! I am sadly allergic to nuts though and just had a milk drink so I didn’t want to overdo it. As a barista myself I get it that oat is a trend & not always the best option for texture/taste. You just can’t shame people to their face about a preference choice.

Los Jalapenos is a small, vibrant restaurant located on Greenwood Avenue that offers a diverse menu of Mexican cuisine from breakfast to dinner. The cozy turquoise eatery may be small, but it boasts an extensive menu filled with authentic and flavorful Mexican dishes. Customers rave about the hearty and fresh breakfast burritos, which are considered some of the best in town. Despite its size, Los Jalapenos has managed to maintain its reputation for serving delicious food at affordable prices over the years.
I ended up getting the shredded beef nachos through DoorDash and I have to say that is the best nachos I’ve ever had. It had every single thing on it. I could only eat not even quite half of it. The portions are huge. You cannot go wrong. I actually couldn’t lift it with one hand that’s how heavy it was, I am totally happy that I tried this place. If you go there, you’ve gotta try the nachos. I swear to God, I’m talking, it’s loaded with so many items and so fresh. I am totally sold on this place and will definitely be trying their other items that they have to offer. It’s a must try, you won’t be disappointed.

This place is too unique to describe... very small seating area and it seems like most customers do take out. I was able to snag a seat. I ordered a burrito and was not disappointed... Actually it was the best burrito I've had in Bend. And reasonably priced. Take a chance on this place if you like great food but are willing to give up fancy restaurant atmosphere.

We came in from a 6 hour drive looking for good food and we found some great food here. I had the Carne Asada Burrito and its great if you dont love rice. Very flavorful and the wife had 12 rolled tacos. She ate 4 and she was full. VERY DELICIOUS all the way around. The salsa bar was great! They even had grilled onions and jalapeños for free to add to your meals. Only thing id change is add a mango salsa to the salsa bar!

This place used to have half decent food….. can’t even eat this. Not even sure what this is….. too bad the original crew isn’t there anymore. A soggy mess of this….. whatever this is….. this is what I got….. for now reason at all….. also the prices didn’t match the menu prices…… no explanation for that. Will never go back again.

This is hands down best place for fast, affordable, and delicious Mexican food. The burritos are always spot on. Especially the breakfast ones. And they are huge. For a town that is littered with wonderful places to eat but are priced for a certain class. Taco salsa has stayed true. To deliver great food at a reasonable price. With amazing customer service.
Skip G — Google review
This place looked like it was gonna atleast have some really flavorful food based on the amount of oily goodness coming out of my burrito, but it was confusingly bland tasting. They had a salsa bar and gave all those a try. They were also all very low on flavor, except for the guac-salsa stuff which was pretty good. The salsa was fresh tasting, but lacking all seasoning it seemed. The guy taking my order was friendly and brought us the food within 5 mins or so, so that was cool. The food did feel "hearty", but simply was not good and ended up tossing part of it, which is something I nearly never do. The atmosphere was classic mexi taquaria; smelled like floor cleaner and they had iconic color schemes and an entertaining and bizzare movie running on their TVs, along with other quirky decor. burritos are my "spirit food" but sadly this place is not a place I will be going to again.

Fun little spot that is very popular. We were traveling and looking for a good spot to get a bite. When we arrived it was pretty packed but they do an excellent job of moving through orders. It was a place that just felt good to be at. Our food was very good and the portions were generous .

A great late night Mexican food go-to with AMAZING, fast and friendly service. Outdated decor but super clean! This is really your basic, no-nonsense taco shop but with incredible service. My wife made reservations for 5:15 for our 12 year anniversary we were promptly seated when we arrived. They had a little anniversary card on our table, which was a little small. our waitress was very nice. She informed us of all the specials which sounded good, but my wife decided on the pasta I decided on the flat iron steak. Our appetizer was meatballs and bread, which was very good. By the way best margarita ever tasted. I asked my wife how was her pasta? She said it was very good. My steak was cooked medium which was perfect. for dessert, we had the date cake with vanilla gelato excellent more than likely we will return for a second visit.

The focaccia is divine. It was fluffy on the inside, crisp on the outside with a gorgeous presentation; possibly the best we've ever tasted. The service was attentive and friendly without being disruptive. We were surprised and delighted with the seafood special and highly recommend the halibut. The flat iron steak and meatballs were fine, but nothing noteworthy or anything we'd order again. Their accompaniments- the pommes frites and tomato gravy - were both amazing, well balanced and hitting all the right flavor notes. Overall, one of our favorite dining experiences in Bend and we'll definitely be back to see what dishes match up in quality to the halibut and focaccia! I'm recovering from surgery - so no alcohol and both the Linda and Super Tuscan Sodas were fabulous treats!

Delightful food, service, and atmosphere. Cocktails were unique and expertly crafted. Wine list is extensive with a great range. Dinner was out of this world. Service felt luxurious but not intrusive. Will definitely return.

A day later and I’m still thinking about the food. We did not have dinner reservations, but with a little wait we’re able to get a seat at the bar. We had a couple of non-alcoholic cocktails and the taste was good and the value was just okay. Still think over 8 for a drink without alcohol is too much. The food was amazing though. We had the calamari and snails to start. Calamari was amazing. Really good!!! Highly recommend. Snails were good too just a bit too much red sauce that hid the flavor. Also had the pork ribs, and flat iron steak. Pork ribs were out of this world. So well seasoned and cooked. It came with some broccolini that was undercooked but man was it good. Flat iron steak was ordered Medium for my husband, but came out Medium Rare, which is my preference so we didn’t say anything. The sauce on the side— crazy good. The truffle fries— wow! Worth it!! We also had a side of mushrooms which were good. For dessert we had the panna cotta dessert and I would also highly recommend this— just amazing! I found the host to be great, and the people delivering the food as well. The bar tenders were good. The whole placed seemed very well staffed and tho they genuinely liked each other. Having a well staffed front and back of house comes across! I hope the second time we go it’s just as good!!

Amazing dining experience, the kind that leaves you with a smile the rest of the evening. We were visiting Bend with our adult children all who love food. We started with cocktails and they have a great list of options and a nicely curated wine list. The crab appetizer was expensive but so fresh and full of flavor, we would surely order again. Do. It miss the Tricolore Salad also spectacular. The spaghettini with local wild mushrooms was my favorite entree full of umami, texture and amazing flavors. All the pastas are homemade in house and delicious and you can’t go wrong. The 8oz steak with pomme frites was cooked perfectly and full of flavor as well. We finished with Tiramisu and Date Cake for dessert and while good was not up to par with the amazing dishes we for our meal.

Truly a delight in Bend! Delicious food prepared with seasonal ingredients and great cocktails. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio with a group of six (no reservation, but they accommodated us on a Saturday). It’s definitely a “small plates/shareable” place, but what it lacks in volume more than makes up for in quality and flavor. Expect to spend a decent amount here if you want to walk away satiated. Highly recommend the focaccia, burrata, and pastas—the rigatoni hit the spot!
Jacob S — Google review
Absolutely outstanding service and delicious food. Advise the snails as they were a special treat. The foccacia with whipped butter was by far the best bread I have ever had.
Rebecca T — Google review
We took family here for our first visit and I was so impressed with the food and the service!! I’m often disappointed in Bend, but BOSA knows what they are doing. The table timing, the crumb clearing, the way the servers properly drop food to the correct seats and with the correct arm. Every single employee acknowledged us, not just the host and server. It was a refreshing experience for this former server/bartender :) My only complaint is the patio. There is tons of traffic at that intersection and I watched several near misses (not BOSA’s fault). It was a bit over-stimulating so I wouldn’t reserve a table out there in the future. But it would not deter me from returning, in fact I can’t stop thinking about our meal and I think we will be back as soon as possible!! THANK YOU BOSA

As you know I stay on the road y'all all so I decided to get myself some Burger King 😪. First, on my whopper, I asked for extra mayo and you can see How dry they left it with the bottom-of the barrel tomatoes.. I ordered extra cheese and got none and they didn't even fill my fry cup up it was over less than half in it and no it did not spill in the bag. When the driver came I asked him didn't come with another drink he told me he thought it did but the guy at Burger King had an attitude and tripped out on him so I didn't receive my drink. I stopped dealing with Uber Eats a very long time ago because of the poor quality of food you receive sometimes it is a miss and hit but I figured I would give it a try again since I was in another state and seems like it had the same result I'm very upset about this someone needs to take real actions because I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. I'm like soo pissed off right now 😤😤 and as all ways PEACE,LOVE&TRUTH

The lady at the register was very nice but the old man who i think was a manager seemed as if he didn't want to be there or even be bothered with me the customer. And I even got a coin on the wining tier in their game. Not a pleasant experience.

Went to the Burger King in Bend Oregon to grab a quick bite during our trip home. The WORST service I have ever had. The food came 15 minutes after ordering and it was cold. Talked to the manager and instead of her managing her people she remade the burgers herself. NO sense of urgency to serve the customers after us. The 2 staff in the front barely acknowledged anyone in the dining room. This is the second Oregon Burger King that was mismanaged.

Every time we give this location a try hoping staff got better, it doesnt. Dont understand how consistently 2 people in drive thru line take 10 plus minutes to get their food. Its been this way for years now.

I dropped by here because my kid wanted a cheeseburger with ketchpt only and it took their staff 9 minutes after I ordered to put together that cheeseburger and give it to me. I was the only customer. I give this establishment another year or two tops before it shuts down. With service like there's no way anyone will come back. I sure won't.

Nestled in the charming town of Bend, Mother’s Juice Cafe is a delightful haven for health enthusiasts and food lovers alike. With convenient locations on both the east and west sides, this cafe makes it easy to indulge in their scrumptious offerings any time of day. Kickstart your morning with their Baden Baden breakfast sandwich, featuring a delectable blend of avocado, egg, spinach, Swiss cheese, and chimichurri on heavenly multi-grain bread.
Mother’s in Bend, Oregon, is a charming restaurant with adorable decor. I ordered the ‘Hello Portobello,’ which was a delicious marinated portobello mushroom sandwich with heirloom tomatoes, caramelized onions, goat cheese, pistachio crumble, herb lemon aioli, and wild arugula on thick-sliced in house sourdough bread. When you bit into the sandwich the immediate flavor I got was the marinated portobello. As I chewed I could smell the fragrant caramelized onions. It was nice that every few bites you got a little bit of the pistachio crumble, that left you wanting more. The heirloom tomato had that fresh from the vine taste to it, it was thickly sliced and had the perfect acidity. The goat cheese and the lemon aioli married this sandwich together tastefully. The flavors were complex and well-balanced. I was pleasantly surprised to find potato salad with my order. It was homemade and delicious, with tender potatoes, a dill-flavored mayonnaise based sauce, and subtle notes of red onion and scallion. I wouldn't be surprised if it was in-house made mayonnaise. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The restaurant was spotless and had a pleasant outdoor seating area. The sandwich was light and refreshing, and I would definitely return for another meal. Mother’s Westside Kitchen is only open for breakfast and lunch, closing at 3 PM. Their menu offers a variety of breakfast options, sandwiches, wraps, salads, bowls, smoothies, juices, and coffee.

All of the bad reviews for this restaurant are about the service or hours. None of them are about the food. The food is amazing. Very high quality healthy juices, bowls and smoothies. It’s always nice to have a clean meal on the road. I feel like the workers here are all young 20 somethings or college kids, you can’t expect exemplary service from them in the first place. Most of the negative reviews here sound like Karens lol. Underrated spot, try it out.

I really wanted to love this place because I love healthy, high quality food. The beet apple sandwich was weird but pretty good. The bohemian rhapsody was a bit disappointing. Both seemed wildly overpriced, even for high quality ingredients. That bohemian rhapsody was NOT worth $18 + tip or whatever I paid for it. Sorry. 😕

Honestly really disappointing. This was my first time eating at Mothers and I doubt I’ll go back after my experience. I ordered the perfectly sunny breakfast as well as a sweet breakfast bowl. They were out of granola (how this is possible so early in the morning is beyond me) they did not offer a discount for this and I had to ask for an equivalent option without it being offered. To fix this we opted to add cashews, to which they added very few of. For my perfectly sunny breakfast I’d rate it anything but. I got the order to go and upon opening it the avocado was bad and brown with spots. For $17 the avocado is a big part of the meal so it was a bummer to be shorted and given a bad avocado. As for the rest of the meal, I’d say it was so so— definitely not worth the $32 I paid plus a tip. Overall, after reading other reviews and having heard good things about this restaurant I’m very disappointed in the quality especially at the price point.

Everything from the food, friendly service, and atmosphere is a 12/10!!! The lady that took my order today was such a light. My breakfast burrito was cooked to deliciousness as well. Honestly, $20 for a great burrito and a 16oz matcha is SO reasonable compared to a lot of restaurants in Bend. Can’t wait to come back! 🤎

-Loved- this spot. We were just passing through but stopped for breakfast. We had the Morning Buzz coffee, Sambazon Bowl, Avocado Toast, and Bitty Bites. All were perfect. Everything was so fresh, perfectly cooked and crafted. Everyone we met there was very helpful and authentically kind (like *radiating* kindness! It was crazy!) It seemed everyone was happy to be there, enjoyed their job and it showed in their work. Space was spotless, and there was a freshly stocked kids area with color books and such. If we lived nearby it’d be a weekly (daily?) stop for sure!

Bo’s Falafel Bar, located on the outskirts of the Century Center, offers more than just falafel. In the mornings, they serve a variety of bagels and sandwiches, including vegetarian options and classic hashbrowns with unique toppings. For lunch, their build-your-own bowl option is a standout. Bo's has gained a devoted following for its delicious food and vocal support for marginalized groups.
This is literally the best bagel place in town. Been here 4 times and it's always bomb. The staff kicks ass, even when it's packed they get the food out quickly and efficiently. The bagels are freshly made and you can definitely tell. The staff is so friendly and awesome. The salty honey rosemary bagel is SO divine, omg. The decor is absolutely adorable and the vibes are truly immaculate. They also have the best prices for the best quality of bagel and I've been to nearly every place in town. This is the only bagel place in town that doesn't skimp on the cream cheese either, THANK YOU FOR THAT. If you haven't been to Bo's, you are missing out, go there right now, seriously.

I have been coming to Bend for years and this was my first time trying this place out. I have to admit I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo of the dish before I started to eat. The location was a little confusing with Google maps but with a minor detour I found it! There is decent parking space as long as the whole complex is not super busy. The facility itself is cute and works with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have good options for food and drink for vegan and meat eaters alike. I used their menu to identify my choices and the cashier helped me to pick the options that would best suit my needs - vegan here. I like that the toppings list was large. Going with a pre set of toppings was easy and less need to think about what works for tastes. They did offer kombucha but it was a higher sugar content than a normally drink so I stick with water. My meal was ready pretty quickly. It started to get busy after I ordered but they seemed to work thru that quickly. My only knock was that I requested no tahini and yet it was still covered in it. It is not an allergen or else I would have sent it back - it is a choice and it tasted good, just wasn’t what I had asked for… Worth coming back and giving a try if you haven’t yet!

Great service and atmosphere for sure. Ordered to-go on a Saturday. The Jalapeño Cheddar bagel itself looked more like a toasted bun (no hole, not even a wink), with a light and fluffy bread texture. The bagel flavors were fine, but didn’t leave us with ‘omg these are amaze’. Egg, cheese, and sausage were on point. Points for Bo’s for establishing another bagel spot in town (we’re lacking). Our search continues for that dense chewy NYC style bagel.

5 stars ⭐️ all around! My husband and I are from the East Coast 🌊 and we miss our bagels! Luckily we found Bo’s -they are some of the best West Coast bagels 🥯 Thanks for being deliciously awesome 👏 super whimsical decor too- Bo’s is just magical ✨ 💕💖💞✨⭐️🌟💫🥯

Very fun decorations and beautiful colors. The people taking the orders were very nice. Not to long of a wait. The chai was pretty milky if you like that and I certainly did. Cute labeling. I got the chocolate chip bagel with cream cheese and it is slightly chewy but the taste is impeccable.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Bend, The Commons Cafe and Taproom is a charming spot housed in a historic residence built in 1904. This easygoing establishment overlooks Mirror Pond and offers locally roasted coffee, baked goods, draft beers, ciders, and wine. It serves as a community gathering space and is surrounded by quaint shops and eateries. With its prime location near Drake Park and Brooks Alley, it's a popular choice for locals and visitors alike.
Wonderful little place to grab a beverage, work, chat, and hangout. Cozy environment with plenty of seating options indoors and out. The chai tea was DELICIOUS (Metolius Chai… the best!)

This place was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip to bend! Delicious golden milk and gluten-free/vegan seed bread…YUM. Great atmosphere to pull out a book or work. Also, a really lovely view of the river. It’s the top of our list for when we return to bend. 💚
Mykala S — Google review
Got coffee and teas for me and my family. Often wonder if the price tag of a specialty coffee is worth it....at the Commons it is! Their flavors were fantastic and the temperature and construction of the drink was perfect. Also, the atmosphere was really cute. Great place to read a book on a Sunday Morning.
Cindy B — Google review
This will forever be one of my favorite places in Bend, for many reasons. It's relaxed and down to Earth, and tends to attract the artistically-inclined. It's also the site of many a musical and poetic event. Not to mention that it sits right at the edge of Mirror Pond and the walkways that tie Bend together, from Old Mill down River Front to Farewell Bend and back.
Nick J — Google review
One of the best lattes I've had in a while. Perfect temp, didn't scorch the oat milk. The cardamom and vanilla syrup didn't over power the coffee. Amazing vegan lemon blueberry scone that they warmed up! Gorgeous views of the river and super friendly staff.
Michaela F — Google review
No food, only snacks. Coffee is okay, it was a little on the weak side. They have beer and wine as well and a very cozy open space and outdoor space to enjoy while you work, read, or chat. Usually busy with laptop-ers working all day, and people chatting in the evening. Nice gathering spot.

Ordered the double espresso. Solid and potent! They sell local art inside with a quaint cottage theme. Plenty of fun seating outdoors. Staff at the front was kind

If you like wonderfully spicy Chai then you’ll be super happy!!! The egg sandwich and cardamom roll were excellent as well. For sure can’t beat the view and multiple seating options.

McDonald's is a classic, long-running fast-food chain known for its burgers and fries. It is one of the world's largest fast food chains with over 33,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries.
Hi, I'm not from the area but needed a quick food run for the kiddos. I used my McDonald's app, grabbed a deal and picked it up at the drive thru. The young man at the 2nd window, greeted me with a smile, handed over my order (which was fresh, hot & delicious ) and wished me a great evening as I pulled away. A smile and kind words go a long way. Thanks to the long haired young man for making our chaotic evening less stressful!

This is not a complaint, rather a question... I have eaten and enjoyed their sausage burrittos (and still do). My question is this -- the burrito filling quantity seems much smaller than before. Is this how McDs is avoiding raising prices on certain items -- by reducing the size of the product. I don't care if they do that but I think they should tell folks if they do... just a question and opinion.
C F — Google review
Wow, laughing so hard. What a joke! I ordered a chicken sandwich today - I got a bun, chicken patty and ONE pickle! What the heck is this!? Wow McDonald’s - either do some better training or inspect the food going out - this was drive thru and pathetic - you charge enough now, I expect better food than this !
Sunshiney074 — Google review
Store closed lobby early states lobby is open until 9pm we got there at 8:30pm, so we tried to go through the drive through on bikes and they would not serve us, to get served I had to get my car. Rude manager name Monte. Other McDonald’s I’ve been to will take orders at the window for people walking or on bicycles. This McDonald’s has poor customer service.

Overpriced food with maximum low quality return. $4.99 for a mushroom swiss piece of 💩 burger... is robbery. This might have been the last McDs EVER. Staff was nice. Transparent cheese... 😖 meat was dry, tasted awful.
Xeno H — Google review
First off they made my McDouble and cheeseburger the same size. Second they charged me 9 extra dollars when I spent 7 using the coupons. They kept messing up my order and had to bring the manager out and barely filled my ice cream and fries. Do not recommend!!
Merceydes W — Google review
This location sucks. Walked over here at 8:10pm with my kid from the apartment complex in the same plaza. The doors were locked so someone came out to tell us that they were cleaning and we weren’t allowed inside and needed to walk the drive thru. There is a big sign right in front of the door that says the lobby is open until 9pm! So because the kid working there didn’t feel like waiting until the time they are supposed to, I’m now stuck walking the drive through with traffic, kid in tow, freezing our butts off. Legit children run this location, stay away. Edit - came here in the morning a few months later at 11am and I’m stuck walking through the drive through again! Another cleaning.

Papillon review. Love this place for dinner. It is inside blissful spoon in the evenings. Moroccan food. So delicious. We had the chlada khamsa (5 salads) tanjia marrakesh (slow cooked tri tip) chicken bastilla and it was all so lovely. The olives marinated in tangerine are incredibly flavoral. The service is fantastic, friendly atmosphere and great for a date night. It is a breath of fresh air to have Moroccan food in town. Bonus, they can accommodate gluten free here as well!
Brea D — Google review
My Espresso Martini was great. I also ordered the Avo Toast and was mostly very pleased. My meal was solid. The poached egg was perfect and the salad was nice and fresh. I loved the addition of sliced pickled onions. The only slightly disappointing part of my meal was the avocado mash. The texture and taste seemed processed rather than being a freshly mashed avocado. That’s on me though. I should’ve asked about it because I’m picky about avocado ton toast.

This is a great brunch spot for someone with celiac/gluten free diet. Their waffles are gluten free and super tasty and their pastry display case was entirely gluten free. Would definitely go again!
Megan L — Google review
My wife eats here all the time with her friends. Went with her for birthday brunch on a Sunday. They were overwhelmed with number of guests so service was terrible. Didn’t get maple syrup with washed that was advertised on the menu. Wasn’t offered cream for my coffee had to ask. Cleared my plate and took my coffee cup without asking if I wanted a refill. I won’t be going back but my wife still likes the place.
Bill H — Google review
Horrible service, good food for 3 of us at 1 PM on a Saturday. We never received 2 of the 3 drinks we ordered twice from our waitress. Our waitress didn't return to the table to check in, so we went up to the counter to inquire about the drinks after we'd eaten most of our food & the staff acted very surprised that we hadn't received our drinks. We told the staff not to make the drinks since we were almost finished eating. There were as many staff as patrons in the restaurant, so getting orders fulfilled shouldn't have been an issue. We paid at the counter instead of waiting for the waitress to bring the bill. We live just a few blocks away, so I was hoping to add a nearby restaurant to our options, but this experience negates that. We were one of 4 tables during the off-season. This review is intended to help the owner/manager improve their business if they are interested. We've lived in Bend for over 20 years & I'm from another tourist town, so I understand that local clientele can have higher expectations than visitors who may never return. This review is for Blissful Spoon.

This was one of my favorite restaurant experiences! Dora was the absolute best waitress so down to earth and knowledgeable! This place took great measures for my friend with celiac! It was so great we made a brunch reservation for the next day with Dora as our waitress! Can’t wait to go back and try the breakfast!
Shannon B — Google review
I can't rave about this place enough. From the excellent service to the delicious drinks and food, the experience is always amazing. They've been quick, checked on me regularly, and go out of their way to provide excellent service. I've also got a best friend with celiac disease, and this is one of THREE places I've been able to take her to without cross contamination. The attention to detail in both the service AND the food, is always beyond appreciated. Thank you, Blissful Spoon!
Cayleigh R — Google review
We tried several items on the menu, and each dish is beautifully presented. Shakshouka stands out as my favorite. While the service is somewhat slow, the restaurant's ambience is a definite highlight. However, I wouldn't recommend the canelés…not authentic.

Their light and bright flavor profile sets them apart from other gourmet bean options in the area. The company recently opened its first café in the lobby of The Hixon apartment building on Bend's west side, offering a distinctive espresso experience and pastries.
Talk about a great environment and great people…The Still Vibrato crew brings the vibe to you! Definitely recommend to any coffee lovers who want to have a good experience every visit.

The coffee was very good. Scones were soft and tasty. Staff were nice and helpful. An unexpected surprise in a lobby. Really good. Open wall made the seating feel spacious.

If you’re in a mad rush you may want to go somewhere else but if you want the best espresso in Bend come here. The baristas here take the time and care to create great coffee. This is not to say they are slow; they are deliberate and take pride in their coffee. You won’t be disappointed!
Ted K — Google review
This was a really cool coffee shop. I really liked the layout. It was part of a hotel lobby which made it a bit hard to find, but I liked the big open feel. Lots of seating and a cool inside to outside bar table. They are very limited on flavors and did not have any sugar free options. But the quality of the coffee was good.
Abbie L — Google review
Quiet and quaint coffee shop. Located at the bottom of the condo in the elevator entry, this coffee shop offers lots of space, a fair amount of seating, and a very quiet atmosphere. The coffee is good with almost enough coffee flavor of my liking. Overall I’d go here again.
Grill’n M — Google review
We came here every day while visiting Bend for a week — it was too good! The dark mocha specifically was heaven. Not too sweet and the coffee and chocolate paired so well together. We also tried the single origin espresso and the caravan chai — so delicious! The service was amazing as well and lots of places to sit and chill while enjoying great coffee and tea.
Beck B — Google review
My fiancé and I are sort of coffee shop hunters. Everywhere we visit we look for neat coffee spots. We love an earthy esthetic, friendly baristas, a chill vibe, and of course good coffee. We have our usual spots here in Bend, but decided to branch out and look for something opened later and we found Still Vibrato. To say all the nice things about this shop would make this a novel. I loved everything about Still Vibrato! I loved that they redesigned the sizes and I was able to get a mocha in a size that fit my needs. Usually they’re way to big and I can never finish them and waste a lot. Still Vibrato was able to make a 6oz for me and it was perfection! By far the best mocha I’ve ever had. And the cups were recycled paper, which I love! Needless to say, we’ll be back!!

Nestled in the heart of downtown Bend, the Bend Breakfast Burrito has transitioned from a beloved food cart at Mirror Pond Plaza to a charming brick-and-mortar establishment since its opening on September 10. This spot is renowned for serving up mouthwatering breakfast burritos, alongside delicious muffins and other morning delights. If you're gearing up for an outdoor adventure or simply craving a hearty meal, this eatery is your go-to destination.
My husband and I are trying all the burrito places in town and seeing which is our favorite. This one is certainly in contention. It’s a small stand. Clearly the burritos and bowls are made off site and kept warm. We just came from a 5 mile hike but if I’d known I would have gotten them before the hike and had a picnic. When I got there they only had original burritos left. Of the 4 breakfast burritos we’ve tried so far in Bend this was the cheesiest. It’s a good burrito. Being pre-made you can’t have anything added or taken out. It’s a good burrito and we’ll definitely be back to get some for a hike/picnic
