Tides Tavern is a long-standing establishment that has become an iconic spot in Gig Harbor. Since its opening in 1973, it has been a go-to destination for locals and visitors seeking delicious food with breathtaking views of Puget Sound and the harbor's sunsets. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring burgers, pizzas, seafood, chowder, and more.
Located right on the water, there are beautiful views if you sit in the restaurant. We prefer the bar so our backs were to the water but we enjoyed a nice walk down the dock of the marina after lunch. We ordered a pizza and really enjoyed it. Very busy for a Tuesday afternoon (people waiting in the lobby and outside for a table). Very efficient staff! Also, one of the nicest ladies rooms I’ve ever been in.

Great dockside seafood restaurant in Gig Harbor. There is a varied menu with specials. The grilled halibut was especially good and this is the first restaurant I have ever been to that has Athletic non-alcohol beer on tap. The service was great and the restaurant was exceptionally clean and there is a good sized deck with outdoor seating. The only downside is that unlike many restaurants with outdoor deck seating, they are NOT pet-friendly.
S K — Google review
My fiancée loved the halibut and tartar sauce! My burger was pretty good but the bacon was very burnt and the burger was a tad dry. I did like the fries pretty well but not amazing. Seems almost like a local hangout and sports bar. The game was on and it was pretty loud. It was a cool place on the harbor but the environment wasn’t really my thing. As long as you know what to expect then you might be fine. Someone told us to eat here so we did. To be fair we travel the country so we’ve been to hundreds upon hundreds of restaurants so I’m a tad critical.
Brandon P — Google review
One of my favorite places in Gig Harbor to eat. Great selection of beers and the chowder is the best I have ever had (including my own). Fish and chips rock as well as the burgers. Abbey the bartender is an absolute sweetheart.
Tim A — Google review
A absolutely delicious spot to eat with amazing scenary, and food options. Additionally, the staff is very nice and accommodating as we had someone with gluten issues. So thank you for the staff for that specific accommodation. Everything here was great but I must say that bread pudding is a standout and above average bread pudding! Highly recommend leaving room for it.
Steven G — Google review
Tides is a long time favorite of ours when in the area. Busy place in downtown next to the marina. It has a tavern like feel inside and a very large deck outside. They offer local foods and craft beers on draft. There is also a full bar and a decent list of wines. We ordered fish and chips one cod 4/5 and one halibut 5/5. Unfortunately, the halibut was ordered as a three piece, we received two, and waited for ever for the third. Our server was nice enough, but seemed to be yelling at people. Not sure if she was hard of hearing or she thought we were.
Ron R — Google review
Went for a late lunch, sat outside, had a great view! Staff was pleasant, helpful and attentive. Lobster and corn chowder was fabulous and halibut fish and chips was a large portion took 1/2 home and delicious the next day! There was even a seal entertaining us!
Linda L — Google review
I haven't eaten here before, but it's a place I'd go back. I like that it's a 21+ establishment. It has an amazing view of the water, makes it a fun time to watch the boats go by. We showed up before opening, and the parking lot was already filling up. There was a line before the doors opened, good sign for a business.

NetShed No. 9 is a cozy cafe with a waterfront patio that serves creative New American cuisine for breakfast and lunch. Owned by Thad Lyman and Katie Doherty, who also own the upscale Brix 25 and Brimstone PNW Smokehouse nearby, the restaurant shares some ingredients with its sister establishments to enhance its dishes. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots. I have never had a dish I did not like. The Blueberry Lemon Curd French Toast is my go to. You won’t be disappointed. Beautiful location on the water and the service is stellar. Oh, their Chai is incredible too!
Renee M — Google review
I recommend this place if you like food! Everything we tried was delicious. I can't recommend the lemon blueberry bread thing enough!!! The coffee is a house blend, it was good. The hot chocolate was better than most coffee shops. We ate outside in April, and it was a little chilly, but the tent was heated, and they had blankets for every chair. I can't wait to go back when we visit. We took a nice stoll along the peir after lunch it was beautiful. If you're in the area give this place a try.
Avilia L — Google review
Had the chop chop salad and a cup of clam chowder. My family had the peanut butter waffles and the sweet chocolate espresso with cinnamon milk, which was delicious! Only bummer was that we were waiting for the check and payment longer than it took us to eat. It probably good busier than our server expected.
Adriana M — Google review
What a great hidden little gem! It's a little hard to find but well worth it. The ambience on the back deck is great, you feel like you're right in the harbor. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, we were very impressed. The food tasted good. Thru don't mark what is gluten free on the menu, so you have to ask them, and it's a pretty small selection. They have no GF bread, which is disappointing as a lot of places now days do. If you're not GF then it should be fine.
Tatiana S — Google review
Overall we were very happy. The food was very good. Service was excellent and our waitress was very friendly. My hot chocolate with added espresso was delicious. There's little nuances with the food that could've been executed better. They also didn't have the heated outdoor seating spots ready to go when we arrived at their open time, which would've been nice as an option. These are small things overall, though. We're glad we made this a stop on our vacation.
Jared — Google review
We first visited during their "net shed nights" (memorial day through Labor Day), and it was so amazing we actually went back for breakfast!! The patio seating is beautiful, it's conveniently located, and the food is delicious!
Jessica S — Google review
Best part of this place was the mimosa. Nice ratio of champagne to orange juice. On the disappointing side, got the breakfast sandwich / burger which came with cold, hard and perhaps stale bread. It came with a cup of chowder which was runny and oddly flavored. Service was chilly, chaotic, and lacking. With an hour wait, not sure I’d try it again.

Takeout Restaurant
Devoted Kiss Cafe is a charming waterfront eatery located at the foot of the harbor in Gig Harbor, Washington. It offers a casual dining experience with indoor and deckside seating, providing panoramic views of the harbor. The cafe serves classic breakfast options like giant Belgian waffles and scratch biscuits and gravy, as well as a selection of lunch sandwiches. Visitors can enjoy their meals while taking in the picturesque harbor scenery.
Enjoyed the Apple Bacon Blue Cheese salad which was so flavourful and delicious! We sat outside nearby the clock (as recommended by the front staff) as dogs are not allowed inside or on their patio. Service dogs are permitted. The food came out really fast and everything was packed up nicely to-go. I also tried the biscuit which was good but best eaten day of. I was so full from the salad I left most of it for the next day. A great breakfast and lunch spot with lots of options.
Kim L — Google review
The best breakfast I have had ever. I got the DKC Biscuit witch. The flavor and taste made my test buds erupt. So good. My husband got the breakfast burrito and he loved it. The outdoor seating was amazing and I also attached our view with the outdoor seating area. It was so peaceful and gorgeous.
Jessica L — Google review
My wife and I stopped here for breakfast and we are so glad we did. The restaurant is in a nice location near the water in Gig Harbor. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, my wife is gluten-free. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito and I have to say it was the best breakfast burrito that I ever had. I also got their oatmeal latte, which was well balance; not too sweet. My wife got the salmon eggs benedict on gluten-free english muffins. She said it was really tasty and the hollandaise sauce was on point. While eating breakfast, I told my wife that their breakfast potatoes are the best I ever had, a lot of places serve breakfast potatoes that have no flavor or they were previously frozen.
Ryan B — Google review
Three of us on a "book store crawl" stopped at the Devoted Kiss Cafe for lunch. So glad we did! All three of us raved about how good our food was! The clam chowder was a huge hit. The panini sandwiches were big enough that there were lots of leftovers. One problem is the fact that they have only one unisex bathroom that opens directly into a high traffic zone in the restaurant. It would be nice if they could work something out with their neighbors for shared restroom facilities that's not so public.
Janet K — Google review
Stopped by on a much needed mental health vacation. They have wattles and eggs and really nice peppered bacon. I chose the fiber filled quinoa bowl with tasty greens, crunchy red onions and other veggies. Perfect to start the day off hiking and enjoying Washington
Sherryl M — Google review
Devoted Kiss Cafe is a great breakfast spot all-around. All our dishes were very good. The fruit and greens were fresh, and the breakfast burrito was packed with ingredients and perfectly cooked on the outside. Their baked goods are also amazing.
Josh — Google review
Come for the food, stay for the drinks! Seriously delicious options. I have a new favorite breakfast cocktail! That said, the place was kinda chaos. It's super popular so it was very busy, that's fine but it was kinda cramped. Bumping elbows with my table buddy. Service was alright, but a bit slow. Admittedly the server was new, but as many as there are in there, getting the check split should have been a little faster.
Crystal B — Google review
Fabulous place! Busy but only a 15min wait. But I see why it is busy! The breakfast burrito was very good. A little pricey but it was a very tasty and a good amount so not too bad. Service great! People are just amazingly friendly.

Restaurant
Il Lucano Ristorante Italiano is a charming eatery in Gig Harbor, offering traditional Italian cuisine and a selection of imported wines. The restaurant provides a modest and homey atmosphere for an intimate dining experience. Situated near Skansie Family Park, it is a top choice for those seeking authentic Italian fare. Owner and chef Michele Simone, originally from Oppido Lucano, showcases his Italian pride through the delicious dishes served at Il Lucano.
I eat here often and it’s always amazing and delicious. The waitress cipro is super friendly. She is so sweet and always makes us feel welcome.

The lamb shanks was excellent. The Pene pasta with mozzarella and pepperoni was very good. Complements to the chef 👩‍🍳.

We went for dinner as a family. Gotta tell ya, the food is so good and yummy. The Lobster Ravioli is so soft and creamy and it melted in my mouth. The tiramisu was perfectly good. Not too long of a wait for our food too. The staff is so friendly and quick too. Excellent job you guys in Gig Harbor.
Caleb A — Google review
Very nice restaurant, good food, and excellent service. I highly recommend and I will definitely go back.
Digga — Google review
We stopped going here for dinner because it was too crowded and noisy. The tables are right on top of each other, so if you are not a contortionist, you might have trouble moving around, and hearing your companions. So, we went in for lunch, expecting that there might be a lunch menu with smaller portions, but, no. I guess we should have checked for that. The food is actually not very good. It relies on a lot of garlic to overcome the fact that the sauces are actually bland, the pasta was somewhat gummy, and the meatballs were very dry and tasteless. Our server was very attentive, but not overbearing. Just the right amount of availability, which is why we rated service as a 5. (And the reason this is overall a 2 and not a 1.)We really want to support local restaurants, but this one will be off our list.
Louise A — Google review
Wonderful on the patio- we are traveling and had our dog, so finding a dog-friendly patio was amazing. Added to that- an extensive gluten-free menu and knowledgeable staff was incredible! Decent priced wines. Prices were a *bit*high for what you get but... i think that's due to the location 🤷‍♀️ If we ever get back to Gig Harbor, we will return. (Gluten free, GF, gluten friendly).
Lindsay K — Google review
Very busy Italian restaurant. We got their at about 5:30 on a Friday evening and the place was packed. Fortunately for us the weather was beautiful and they had outdoor seating available. We enjoyed great service and the food was excellent. We'll definitely be returning for more.
Dave Z — Google review
Any Italian person looking at their food pics will understand right away that it is not authentic Italian food but American food Italian inspired. I was served a pasta with frozen seafood, horrible taste and watery, sent it back. Most pasta pics have parsley on them, not sure why they just add parsley like that. The place is overpriced too for such food. Only locals who never had a real Italian meal can think their food is truly italian (it’s ok if you like it, of course we all have different taste; but isn’t ok to say this is authentic Italian food, because it’s not). If you tried real Italian food before, you’ll be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious! Stopped here on a Friday night before a movie. It was crowded but I was seated quickly. My service was amazing and food and drinks came quickly. It was $34 for 1 person so a bit on the pricier side but it was worth it. Will definitely come back if I’m in GH again
Felicity C — Google review
Great burgers! I had the mac attack burger with macaroni and cheese. It was really good and flavorful. The fries were well seasoned and hot and the beer was cold.
Ashley E — Google review
We got in on a late Saturday afternoon around 5:00, just ahead of the crowds. We were seated, and our orders were taken promptly. The food was delivered in a timely manner. The salad was fresh with crisp greens and the bottomless fries were very good - not overly salted or seasoned. We were given a couple dipping sauces to accompany the fries as well. Burger dip was done well. The bun was soft with toasted edges and the grilled onions added a nice bite. Service slowed a little as they got busier and we had to flag someone down to get our check, but they had someone call out sick, so we understood. Lots of TVs showing postseason baseball and college football. Overall, it was a great experience.
BlackfeatherShake — Google review
Absolutely can't stand the service model they implement hear. Order, pay/tip then sit down and then they bring your food to you. It's not a burger shack it's a pretty nice restaurant so why not act like one. Maybe I'm just old fashioned. If you go to the bar they wait on you. I guess the owners must save money by not having waiters/waitresses in the family section. Good for them. I'm curious if anyone likes this model of service?
Jeremy R — Google review
The blazing onion in Tacoma closed so we made the trip out to Gig Harbor and it didn't disappoint.
Mandy L — Google review
This is a great place to eat. A upscale burger joint with some nice alternatives. Today we were served by a young man named Devin. We made a couple of requests during our meal and Devin was always more than happy to accommodate us with a nice smile. My wife had the the toasted sesame salad and I had the grilled chicken Ceasars wrap. Both were very good. A little hint if you order the wrap is to also a serving of their "Bob sauce". When used as a dipping sauce for the wrap it makes the wrap go from very good to excellent. If you get Dana as your server you won't be disappointed. Both Dana and Devin will make your experience there a very pleasant time.
Steve O — Google review
We've been to this location a few times and have enjoyed the food and had great service until our recent visit. While I was ordering, an elderly man came in to pick up his to-go order. From the conversation he had with the workers, he was a regular customer that seemed to get the same order every time. He mentioned to the young men working that the total on his order was wrong, and asked if they gave him his military discount. Turns out, they did not and they had to fix it, and apply a refund to his card. He didn't seem very bothered by that, but the kids working seemed bothered that they had to fix the mistake that they made! They were very disrespectful after he left with one of them saying, "oh, my God" because he hard a hard time hearing them and they had to repeat themselves once or twice. Many things ran through my head when this happend and I should have spoken up and spoke to the manager but I didn't, and I regret it. First, many of these elderly veterans are on a fixed income. It wasn't his fault that they forgot to provide him with his discount and then they were bothered when they had to fix the transaction. Second, these kids have to understand that they are in their place of business and should have respect for customers. They wouldn't have a job if it weren't for their customers!! Their parents need to teach them respect! I was so mad at the way they handled that situation and explained to my own teenagers that it is never okay to act like that, especially at your place of employment. It really just rubbed me the wrong way, and I should have spoken up! I hope these kids can be better and do better and are respectful to all their customers in the future!
Tina C — Google review
Patrons 21+ get a menu/table service. If you're under 21, you order at the counter (when you walk in) from the overhead menu and your food is brought out to your table. So basically, fast-food style but the food is "sit down" quality. There is a call button system you can use to get wait staff to your table. Although the food was tasty, it was about $80 for 3 people so I think its a bit pricey. I had an entree salad, my son & husband had a hamburger. We had 1 soda, 2 waters and 1 moz. stick appetizer.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Gig Harbor, The Gourmet Burger Shop is a delightful counter-service eatery that specializes in mouthwatering gourmet burgers and seafood baskets. With an inviting atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to indulge in hearty meals accompanied by refreshing beer, wine, or creamy milkshakes. I am so glad we found the Gourmwt Burger spot. The best burgers I have found in Wa. I'm sure there are other great burgers around, I just haven't found them yet. Shoestring fries were hot and flavorful. The burgers were great and a dog friendly patio. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some more of these awesome burgers. They even had gluten free buns for the wife.
DAVID S — Google review
This place is still as good as I remembered. I loved their shoestring fries - so crunchy and so flavorful. Their burger is big and juicy. The portion was big. I ordered a milkshake with espresso and peanut butter, just the way i liked it. It’s a small place with less than 5 tables. The decor is simple. This is the place to be if you want good burgers, fries and milkshakes when you are in Gig Harbor.
Bonnie Y — Google review
So glad we stopped in before going to the movies! Excellent service and food. Small burger shop, affordable, outdoor seating and kid friendly. We’ll definitely come back!
Dominique S — Google review
Nice little restaurant, love the variety of burgers and drinks! Nice workers also! Loved the Crab soup at this place! I give it a 10/11
Stefania G — Google review
I had a bacon cheddar burger with shoestring fries. The fries were good and well seasoned. The burger unfortunately was disappointing. It looked great, but had almost no taste. The meat was dry and not seasoned -> tasteless. I didn’t taste the cheddar at all and the bacon didn’t help. The lettuce was fresh. The price was very good for the area and the large portion. Service was quick and friendly. But in the end I only came for the burger and at least the one I got didn’t deliver.
Michael B — Google review
I'm currently sitting in this restaurant. And I've got a lot to say but I'll shorten it up a little bit. The atmosphere is great with a lot of decorative pieces hanging on the walls, old-timey themed fridges, the counters, the bar sitting area, and even their chalkboard menus. The food is amazing, clean, extremely tasty, and well garnished on simple burger style plates. I was eating their Bacon Cheddar burger that literally made me think "wow these burgers are magical" because by the time I started thinking "I hope I can come back and eat more of these" my burger was already finished and not for the lack of size or portions. It is 100% the best burger I have ever had and I wasn't even hungry. The onion rings are amazing as well. And I'm having those with a nice hard cider from their nice selection of beverages (they have a lot of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic). Definitely recommend coming here at least once (your first time of many) and I will definitely be coming back even if it's far from home. Well done everyone here (and yes this was the short version).

Amazing burgers, fries made with fresh rosemary and roasted garlic. You and tell ingredients are fresh.

Delicious and filling burgers right near the heart of Gig Harbor. We stopped in after kayaking in the harbor and their burgers and shake really hit the spot. The shoestring fries were also a hit with the kids. My wife and I shared an espresso milkshake while we waited. No complaints except our little “fight” over sharing the ice cream goodness. Everything they had was excellent!! We got all of our burgers to go, but decided to eat in the car. Glad we didn’t wait to eat.

We LOVE El Pueblito so much that we even had them cater our wedding!! We've always had great food, and service! Love the enchiladas, the rellenos, the taquitos, and today I had the chilaquiles for the first time. 10/10 would recommend!

Food was good. Atmosphere is great, waterfront view. Cross the road to the platform, worth it. Got my order wrong. I ordered beef and pork enchiladas, got beef and chicken. Worth the visit. Gone here a lot and this is the first time they got my order wrong, so probably doesn't happen much.
Kieran F — Google review
Food and service were good, solid choice for Mexican food, small parking lot or street parking - we went during off peak time so no issue - but I expect as with most downtown Gig Harbor area - parking would be a challenge. Our main meals were fine - surprisingly the chips / salsa to start - meh and the queso also - ok

Everyone at our table enjoyed themselves. Great service. Good range of beers on tap. Food was very good. Large portions.

A Mexican gem in Gig Harbor. We lived in AZ and CA most of our life together and love good Mexican food. El Pueblito did not disappoint us. Reminded me of nice small places in AZ. Food is excellent. Try huevos ranchers. Staff is great. Shout out to Augustina! Thank you. What a pleasure. Parking can be a challenge... don't let that stop you. There are 2 entrances ... parking lot and street. Highly recommend you try them!

I've been going here for years and I absolutely love everything about it. The amazing women who work there, have always remembered me and my family and are extremely kind. I've never had one bad experience there. They have always been so sweet to me, once I had children and started bringing them it was so nice to see how well they treat kids. I've been to other places in Gig Harbor and they act like kids are an inconvenience. This place always goes above and beyond♡ Also the Tacos AL Carbon is AMAZING!
Ellie D — Google review
After moving to Gig Harbor 5 months ago, this was one of the first restaurants we dined at. We eat out several times each week. The location of this restaurant is wonderful as is the decor. Unfortunately, even a few months after eating here the first time my memory of the food and service stands out as not matching the atmosphere and location. It was not even good enough for us to want to give it a second try.
Mark C — Google review
this is my favorite restaurant I think I have ever been to. If I could give this place 6 stars instead of 5 I would. The food is good priced and tastes amazing. The staff is always friendly and are considerate and never ask you to pay for extra chips and salsa. I recommend the enchiladas Verdes and the beans and rice.

What sets this place apart is its consistency—the quality of the food, drinks, and service is always impeccable. The warm and attentive staff ensures that every visit feels special. It’s easily one of my top dining destinations.

This establishment is located in a nice cluster of other shops, which means there is generally enough parking, and plenty to do or see before or after your meal. The menu is swerved toward seafood for all the right reasons - they know how to prepare it and present it! Crab cakes were as delicate as crab feathers if there could be such a thing. Quite lovely. Duck breast cooked to order was still tender and tasty when cooked to our preference of medium well. Service staff, including the artisan bar tenders, were welcoming. Lovely desserts, drinks, appetizers, and mains. Fresh flowers on tables. A neat bar area to meet friends and chat. Clean restrooms. Would definitely return to this elevated experience in Gig Harbor.

Delicious food, exceptional service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It has become a tradition for our family to choose Greenhouse to celebrate birthdays and milestones, and our most recent experience was to celebrate my birthday. Everything from the drinks to dessert was exceptional. The staff was so attentive, friendly and went above and beyond, making for a lovely evening!

I was celebrating a personal milestone with a splurge on a chateaubriand, spending over \$200 after tip. While dining on the patio, harmless hoverflies—bee-like, non-aggressive insects—were flying around. Unfortunately, the waitress, trying to swat them with a bug zapper, accidentally smacked my chateaubriand steak with it. She said “oops” and walked away after telling me to let her know if I needed anything. I spoke with the supervisor, who offered to replace the dish or issue a partial refund. Since I had only eaten two slices of the 18 oz steak and lost my appetite, I requested a partial refund. After checking with the owner, I was told no refund would be given—only a free dessert, which I declined as I no longer wanted to eat there. I paid the full amount and left disappointed. For a \$200+ meal, especially with the main dish affected, I expected far better hygiene and customer service.

My bestie and I had a lady date here and it was so incredibly delicious!!! I had the scallops, and she had the duck. Both were delectable!! I had the side piece cocktail which basically tasted like raspberry sorbet, with an adult twist. Cannot wait to go back!! Service was also super quick and attentive. 10/10 would recommend!!

We had a lovely 1st time at Greenhouse. We were up visiting with friends from Olympia and had such a great time being taken care of by Madison! She was fantastic! Attentive. Patient. Fun and funny. Kind. Has a great sense of humor. Knowledgeable. Just made it a great start to our date day in Gig Harbor. We hope to return on another one of Madison's "Mondays" and our "Saturdays!" We are greatful for the impeccable service, including the host (I didn't catch his name) who sat us for our reservation that we arrived almost 30 minutes early for (oops!). He had a great attitude, gentle tone, warm smile, and with an ease welcomed us with a nice chat about the day and we had a laugh as he sat us quickly. It felt like he knew how the warm hand-off works. We had a fantastic meal, enjoyed some well-made classic cocktails (my square ice cube was imprinted with Gh - it was a fun surprise when it arrived!), and felt really well taken care of in the posh decor and luxe layout. We'll definitely be back and tell many others to, as well!

Aug2025. The decoration and ambience was impeccable! The service outstanding. The food was mediocre and overpriced. Tasted nothing but the garlic, poor balance between pasta/meat ratio, poor quality parm. I wish there was more diversity in the choices overall.

Fondi Pizzeria is a delightful and spacious eatery that captures the essence of casual dining with its inviting patio. Known for its mouthwatering brick-oven pizzas, this local gem in Gig Harbor offers a variety of homemade dishes, from hand-stretched dough to vibrant tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella crafted on-site. While their pizza steals the spotlight, Fondi also impresses with an array of generous salads like the Insalata di Mele, catering to all tastes—including vegan options.
honestly way more delicious than i was expecting! salad was great, pizza was great, drinks were great. menu has vegetarian and gf options. staff was very kind, and service was quick. a little weird that you have to order before you sit down, but the food is definitely worth it. would recommend, especially for meeting up with a group!

So I read a review that suggested the pizza was rushed and raw. A little validity to the raw part but I can say that definitely do to the 4 cheeses on a pie I had 4 days ago. I thought it was gummy nut very tasty. Today we had another and was normal with pepperoni and WAS COOKED TO PERFECTION! Meatballs wer perfect, braedsticks were very good. The marinara was literally off the charts! So in short. Pizza was very good today. Meatballs and breadsticks to die for. Done and very happy

This is a surprisingly unique dining experience. Gorgonzola salad was prepared with care and included proportions and small bite sized chunks of all the described things. I enjoyed the lunch pizza with its wonderful wood fire baked crust. Very abundant $taff was young but professional and not at all obnoxious (which indicates good management). Staff all appeared to know how to work well as a team while each staying in their lane. The ordering is odd. You order at a counter upon entry but pay your server after dining. There is a full bar with many wine and beer choices. Large outdoor heated seating. The wood dining chairs are not for wide butts and are terribly uncomfortable.

We were disappointed with our experience. We ordered a pizza with chicken, but there was no chicken on it. The dough had no flavor and seemed undercooked, as if it was taken out of the oven too early. Compared to Rockwood Pizza, their dough is lacking in taste and texture. On a positive note, the pizza looked great, and the herbal oil added a nice flavor—I would recommend that. However, the overall execution of the pizza felt rushed, and the attention to detail was missing. Unfortunately, this doesn’t come close to what I’d consider authentic Italian pizza. And they just said we will take the chicken of the bill of course you will take it out would be nice if manager could off at least offer a cup of coffe or something for their unprofessional attention. I’d suggest the owner bring in professionals to evaluate and improve the taste of their pizzas. Until then, we won’t be returning.

Hmm, where to start... Fondi's pizzas are so ridiculously good that we're pretty sure they're the reason we still live in Washington - their signature crispy wood-fired pizzas are literally the best thing since sliced bread. Next up, their pizza rolls are so divine that we've considered starting a petition to make them mandatory at every social gathering - pro tip, dip them in Fondi's homemade gorgonzola dressing and thank us later. Even the three-year-old pizza hater in our lives can't get enough of Fondi's pizza rolls - we're talking half a plate devoured in one sitting, no joke. And don't even get us started on their salads - they're so fresh that we're pretty sure they have a secret garden hidden behind the restaurant. We've tried every single salad on the menu and can't pick just one favorite, but if we had to choose, it'd be a toss-up between the Insulata di mele with its fennel-candied walnuts and the classic Caesar's forum, which is so good that even the kids will want to eat it. And then there's the flatbread, which we order crispy with fresh mozzarella, white bean dip, and pomodoro spread - it's basically the perfect food. Oh, and did we mention dessert? The Burnt Creme, aka Creme Brulee, is the perfect way to cap off your meal, but let's be real, we usually end up ordering the Affogato too because, well, espresso and ice cream.

a great choice for anyone looking for quality pizza with thoughtful dietary options. Their gluten-free pizza is some of the best around—and it’s cooked in a separate oven, which is a huge plus for those with gluten sensitivities. They also offer vegan cheese, making it easy to customize for different needs. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and attention to detail make Fondi a standout.

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I asked for 2 pizzas and small salad. They never asked me a size. It's lunch time.I'm with a two year old so I would assume they would give me the small size or ask. When they brought the pizza I assumed it must be the lunch size. We only had 2 pieces and I asked them is this the smallest size. She said no that I should have got the lunch size, I told her that is what I thought I got the she said she would look into it then just brought my bill. The only reason I asked is because I saw someone with a smaller pizza. The pizzas were not very big for how expensive they were. Fifty dollars for 2 little pizzas and a salad is pretty crazy. They couldn't make it right and the manager was absolutely rude to me and said that I dug into the pizza so he wouldn't give me the lunch price. The time we came previously my daughter fell out of a chair and the waitress just looked at her and made a face and walked away. I don't know where good customer service has gone. We will not be back. Save your money and go somewhere else where you are treated politely and with respect. ⁶

Bakery
Nestled in the historic Millville District of downtown Gig Harbor, Susanne's Bakery & Deli has been a beloved local gem for over two decades. This cozy spot is a haven for pastry lovers, offering an array of freshly baked delights like cinnamon rolls, chocolate croissants, and raspberry scones that beckon you as soon as you step inside.
Are you looking for that place that all the locals know about, but otherwise is missed by the mainstream crowd? Where people go for a nice, usually, sit and relax and chat over amazing food? Where the viewest lovely and the people are friendly and every bite is a new adventure? Then let me tell you, I have found your spot! You don't come here for speed or a drive through, you come here to sit and relax, with a coffee and an amazing pastry, or maybe a delightful panini. She proved service and food with pastries that are absolutely on the next level. You can tell it is a local favorite as every seat in the house is bustling with people, relaxing and chatting and having a wonderful time. My Panini did take a minute, but the melted brie dripping out the sides on knock your socks off french baked panini bread and the amazing pesto pasta side made it well worth the wait. My mocha was absolutely the tastiest cup I have had in a week. My apple kauign was so good I couldn't even get a picture before I ate the whole thing! Go here on a day when you have time to sit and relax and enjoy. You will not regret it.

I ordered my favorite panini ham sandwich and couldn’t quite figure out why I was so unhappy with it when I realized that the bread was so thinly sliced and it affected the quality of my sandwich. I spoke to the manager who wears glasses and Susanne was not there and she was so unhelpful. Her response was that we normally use focaccia bread and they ran out and that’s the only bread she had left. She could make me another but the bread would still be that thinly sliced. The only the option was to refund me and I’d have no sandwhich. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and this is not the level of service or quality I have been used to. So unacceptable! Eating out is now a costly expense and so I look forward to my occasional treat and am very saddened by this. If you can’t make a decent panini, better to say it’s sold out than serve low quality!

Nestled in the vibrant Uptown area, Blue Agave Mexican Grill is a must-visit for anyone craving generous portions of authentic Mexican cuisine. Celebrating a decade of serving delicious dishes, this Gig Harbor gem offers an array of mouthwatering options like carne asada and loaded nachos that are sure to satisfy even the heartiest appetites. The California burrito is particularly noteworthy; it's so substantial that sharing it with a friend might still leave you with leftovers!

Date Visited 05/2024 So, I decided to venture into Mexican Restau in the Gig Harbor area after reading some reviews. Food: In my opinion, portions are generous and perfect for sharing. Presentation is pretty basic. Now, if you dissect the BA Cali burrito, you’ll find more fries than meat with three medium shrimps. They should call it the “super stuffed fries burritoway.” The sopes don’t quite hit the mark for Mexican food, but they’ll do. They come in a large portion, enough to make two meals out of them. Chips and salsa didn’t show up automatically like at other places. No one asked, and our server didn’t bother to check if we needed more. Probably an extra charge. But hey, the salsa was delicious and tasted fresh. I love the condiment section, where you can mix and match. And for soda refills, you’re on your own. There’s also a small bar area, though I’m not sure if they do happy hour. Service: Our waitress was this tall, gorgeous brunette, but her personality was as lively as the walking dead. She seemed to be on autopilot, just waiting for us to place our orders so she could clock out. She barely did the basics. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but seriously, you’re in the food biz—you gotta have some source of energy. I honestly should’ve just stayed home cuz It felt like my family and I were a burden to her. Ever get that vibe from your servers? And then they expect a handsome tip for their basic service. This place is definitely going on my “Fridays NOT TO RECOMMEND and GO TO” list. Recommendations: If you’re headed this way, Puerto Vallarta Restaurant is the move. Better service and slightly better food.

Stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and found plenty of open tables. Service was not very friendly. Chips and salsa were good. Shared a plate of Nachos with chicken and no beans. Unfortunately, the sour cream squirted on top is too runny resulting in soggy chips. Chicken cubes are not as appetizing as shredded chicken which would've been much better. We'll not be back.

Came in for a early dinner on a Saturday afternoon. We were promptly seated and got our drinks and chips. It was our first time so we took the liberty of perusing the salsa bar. We actually found the mild red hotter than the hot version. Started to get a bit busier as it got later. Nice outdoor seating options. A few drinks on the menu. Small bar with maybe 5 seats. Games on the TV.

I love going to this restaurant when I don’t want to go to far from the house. I will admit, the food at this place is excellent. You will get a lot of food for the price. One thing I like about this place is that you can watch them as they cook your food. Their drinks are really good! They do not hold back on the liquor! Overall, I like going to this place - I will definitely go back.

Stopped by around 11:30am on a Friday morning in February. Open seating so we had our choice of any table in the dining area. Service was excellent at the start but by the time we left, only one server was available for all five tables so it was difficult to maintain the same level of service. Pizza served had a tasty, somewhat chewy crust but pizza was overall disappointing because both pizzas were a bit dry and my Mustang pizza (Pepperoni and Chorizo) was overcooked bordering on being burnt! Quite pricey considering the less than average quality and quantity of pizza delivered. We will not be returning.
S B — Google review
The pizza was really good! Only took off 1 star due to service and “eh” salad. All the pizzas were really tasty and had nice fresh ingredients. Looks of unique options too. Perfect size and really good crust. The Caprese salad was just fine, not enough dressing and burrata was pretty bland. My main gripe was with the service. I want to make clear that everyone was super friendly and nice. However, the meal felt quite rushed. They asked us for our order within 2 minutes of sitting down and asked to clear plates as one of us was still eating. They never refilled our waters after the main bottle was empty. And when they cleared the pizza plates they dumped the crumbs all over the table. It just felt a bit rushed. They were also out of many core ingredients (sausage, arugula, bell pepper, black olives). It was the end of day on a Sunday, so I suppose they were just low on supplies by the end of the week. All these issues were minor and could definitely be fixed. The highlight of it all was the pizza, and they did that very very well. So I’d definitely come back!

We stopped here for lunch, we had the flat bread with artichoke dip and the Marilyn R pizza. They were both delicious, the service was exceptional, always making sure we had everything we needed. The servers we friendly and the staff cooking even checked to see how the food was. It would be nice if the place was a little bigger to space out the tables a little more. I’ve been coming here for years and used to really enjoy it. Lately though, the quality has noticeably declined. I’m not sure if it’s due to new management or specific staff changes, but my orders have been wrong more than half the time recently. I understand mistakes happen, but this has become a consistent issue, and it’s really disappointing from a place I’ve supported for so long. I understand that rising prices and changes to recipes may be out of your control, but the one thing that is within your control is the quality of service, and unfortunately, that’s where the biggest decline has been. Looks like a lot of people have been experiencing the same thing.
Michael E — Google review
Normally I have a good experience here. Lately, they have been hiring people who do not want to work. When placing an order, unnamed female employee, seemed bored, did not speak clearly nor make eye contact. I Felt like I was an inconvenience to her. If the manager wants to reach out I can give you employee name. I get enough attitude from the wife and screaming kids. I come here to get away and enjoy a bit of peace without being judged for being disabled vet.

I went to the gig harbor location on 07/28/25. My wife and I have been going there a lot for breakfast. What it worries me is the service and quality of food. There was no coffee or creamer available, when ask the girl at the counter about it, she rolled her eyes at me and told me it was gonna be a while until she can get some, really?. Then I asked for 2 mugs because we were dining in, she also looked annoyed about my request, she had one under the counter and asked me if I was sure I want 2 mugs, I said yes please, I could feel her eyes rolling at my request. What happened to have coffee ready every hour like it was at the beginning. Or checking once in a while when coffee gets low to make more. I also ordered the souffle which used to be my favorite because I could taste it was freshly baked, now it is heated on the microwave, the taste its also way different, the "egg" used was lumpy, tasted fake like that powder crap. I know trying to save $ in cost, but changes that drastic on a good thing it's dumb. Go back to basics, is just that simple

A good version of the Panera formula in a nice location in Gig Harbor. Ordered food with the app and it was ready to pick up as expected. Only slight downside is restrooms not super clean and needing some plumbing repair.

This was my second time at a Panera ever. I wanted to try the broccoli cheddar soup, but they were out & also out of bread bowls. So, I chose my second choice, which was the Mexican street corn chowder, which was good. The kid's Mac N Cheese was a good helping for a kid. The orange scone I really appreciated as it was nicely glazed & not dry. The chocolate croissant was also tasty. The frozen lemonade hit the spot on a hot day. Hopefully they will have broccoli cheddar soup next time. Establishment was clean.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Gertie and The Giant Octopus. This charming restaurant captures the essence of classic American seafood with its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. Guests rave about their specials, particularly the Octopus Tentacle, which has been described as the best they've ever tasted, perfectly paired with other delectable dishes like Beef Wellington. Each bite is a celebration of flavors that will leave you wanting more.
You have to try this restaurant! This place is incredible. Great atmosphere and even better food. We ordered 2 specials that aren't on the regular menu, Octopus Tentacle and Beef Wellington. It was the best octopus I've ever tasted. Everything on the plate was delicious and complemented the octopus perfectly. The Beef Wellington was cooked and seasoned beautifully. It was one of the pricier entree's and was worth every penny. The item we ordered from the regular menu was the Fettuccine Alla Nona which is handmade pasta and it was incredible. We're from out of town and wish we could come back already!

I have been to Gertie's a number of times now and have never failed to be impressed. The food prepared here by Rob is some of the best I have had and will long remember these meals. The wine alone is worth the visit but paired with the food it is an experience not just a meal. If I had to recommend any meal it would be all of it. Treat yourself and stop in for a glass and you will never be disappointed.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Gertie’s. We ate upstairs. I had an especially delicious mushroom appetizer dish. I also had the beef Wellington. It was perfectly cooked. I will order it again. I wanted to love this place because it’s less than 5 minutes from my house and appeared to be a nice spot for dinner in Gig Harbor. I have visited twice before giving this review. The place is well decorated and has all the makings for a great dining experience. However, we have had poor experiences on both visits - we felt generally unwelcome both times. The first time we visited, it took 3 staff members ~5 awkward minutes to decide where to seat us even though several tables and bar seats were available. They asked if we could sit at the bar, and gave us limited appetizer-only menus without mention of the bar not offering dinner service at that time. We left after about 20 minutes of not being served. The second visit we came on a Thursday at opening time. Again, the awkward table seating issue occurred, with only ~3 tables occupied. They asked if we could sit at the bar again, and we agreed. We were here for over an hour and a half and they had open tables upstairs and downstairs the entire time. They were out of about 1/3 of the menu including 1/2 of the entrees! I also ordered a beer, and the keg was out. The food that we ordered was good and well-cooked and the kitchen staff deserves 4 (google) stars, but it took over an hour for the food to be served. The front end staff seemed confused and untrained. In the time we were at the bar on our second visit, the record player stopped playing 3 times and the staff had to be told by guests that the music was off. We had to listen to the same Frank Sinatra album 3 times in a row! I don’t think I will give this a third try.

We arrived early and we were treated to a great table upstairs, against the railing with a view below. The service and food was excellent. A standout was the mushroom side and the bread for dipping. The menu is limited but all dishes are presented with care. The seafood medley was generous but for some reason I wasn’t expecting it to be room temp, even cool. I would definitely go back to sample other dishes.

Coffee shop
Cutters Point Coffee is a calm and cozy local coffee chain that offers carefully selected, small-batch roasted coffees, as well as delicious baked goods and snacks. The establishment features an impressive building with ample space for customers to relax and enjoy their time. The friendly staff provides excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Although the menu is somewhat limited, some customers have expressed disappointment with the iced chais due to inadequate mixing resulting in chunks of crystallized powder in their drinks.
They make good creative cups of coffee here. The cashier was friendly. We selected the White Pumpkin Mocha and Golden Hazelnut Macchiato from the Fall Favorites flyer and both were great. The indoor decorations are great and matches the drinks. If you are not into coffee, they also serve draft beer and wine too.

One of the few cafes in a thousand miles with a guest garden for a relaxed cafe drink. A piece of gold. The selection of pastries is very poor unfortunately. Donuts were all sold out. Unfortunately already at 12 o'clock. Everything self-service

I have got latte from this place several times. They normally put one shot in 12 ounce latte, which is too weak for me. I had to pay for extra shots. Coffee quality was not consistent. The coffee was usually good, but the triple latte I got yesterday was very acidic. I was very disappointed.

Fast/friendly service. I love the rustic atmosphere in the large fireplace. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. They have a wide variety of food to select from. Prices were reasonable, the coffee was good. A little bit more roasted than I like but still good.

A great place to meet up with friends and colleagues. Delicious coffee and tasty breakfast treats, but get there for the treats early before they sell out.

Stopped on our trip and had some lattes. The inside was really nice and cozy. Lots of people working and talking.

Super great coffee but the service makes this place really stand out. Hailey was working today and totally saved me from having a horrible morning after we immediately spilled our bourbon caramel macchiato after purchasing it. She immediately remade the drink without asking any questions and it totally made my day. Thanks so much!!!

You'll pay a little more than you would at Starbucks but I think the service and coffee is worth it. Today I had a White pumpkin mocha and it was delicious

If you're on the hunt for a delightful ice cream experience, look no further than Ben & Jerry's! This iconic chain, hailing from Burlington, Vermont, has captured hearts across the nation with its inventive and whimsically named flavors. Known for their commitment to ethical sourcing and fair trade practices, Ben & Jerry's not only serves up deliciously smooth ice cream but also prioritizes quality ingredients. At their Scoop Shops scattered throughout the U.S.
Small, cute ice cream shop with nothing but the best Ben & Jerry's flavors! Eat in, or outside and enjoy their ice cream. Maybe 15 or so flavors available in a cup, waffle cone dipped in chocolate a d peanuts, or waffle cone dipped in chocolate and sprinkles! Fabulous on a sunny day!

I took my son there after the orthodontist. We went around twice the store to check out all their options. He decided on his ice cream cone with gummy bears and sprinkles. I took a bowl of strawberry and " raw cookie dough" taste with a chocolate syrup. The ice creams do not taste as good as the iscream shop in downtown gig harbor, but it was ok. All the little things that make ice cream fun for the kids are all extra. It made for a fun date but would definitely not spend all this money everyday.

The Gig Harbor Ben & Jerry’s has for many years been a source of tasty frozen treats. Scoops of quality ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, ice cream cakes and more, including several non-dairy options. The staff were informative and polite. If you find yourself in need of a scoop or two of ice cream in Gig Harbor, you may want to check it out. 😋

I ordered a birthday cake from the Gig Harbor location. The clerk opened the box and right away we noticed that the frosting piping around the top of the cake was wavy and a section had slipped off the cake. The clerk said if we wanted it fixed, we would have to wait 20 minutes for her to fix it. We didn't have time to wait so we took the cake. That night we took it out of the box and noticed the horrible job! The frosting piping that slid down was almost touching the bottom frosting. It was uneven all the way around. It was wide in the front and narrow in the back. It looked like a grade school kid decorated it. It was embarrassing to show this to our guests. This cake cost us $50! UPDATE: The owner of the Gig Harbor shop reached out to me to apologize for the mishap. I appreciate his show of concern to make it right and customer service--something that seems to be lacking with many stores these days.

Ice cream is delicious, though expensive. Sometimes takes a little bit of time to get through the line, which I understand. However, I was really miffed today when I walked in and the gal behind the counter was completely oblivious and continued talking to the customer ahead of me. I waited patiently for about 5 minutes, while she continued chatting with the customer (who already had his ice cream and had paid). It was only when another family walked in that she ended the conversation. Again, she was completely unaware that I was there and started helping the other family. I let her know I had been waiting, but was so irritated I just ended up leaving.
Kellie F — Google review
Delicious, smooth, yummy ice cream, just what you would expect from Ben & Jerry's. And on this day we were here for an ice-cream Drive benefiting an organization. And their service was on top of it and there was less than a minute of waiting. So they have customer service down. They're very efficient and there was plenty of seatting outside for people. Parking worship bad either through Slots of it around. The only thing is it's a slight challenge finding this place being that it's an outdoor strip mall. Hardly anything to complain about. We will be back, even though we drive from Puyallup LOL

Brimstone PNW Smokehouse is a modern barbecue restaurant located in the former Brix building, owned by Doherty and Lyman. The restaurant shares some ingredients with nearby restaurants to enhance its dishes. It offers a smoked meat meal for Thanksgiving, featuring turkey, brisket, gravy, mashed potatoes, and more. Brimstone's BBQ flavors are influenced by different regions of the country with a PNW twist.
Excellent service and reasonably priced dish. We weren't hungry so ordered a medium platter for 3 people. It was big enough for us. The server was super friendly. The spicy NW vegi was good and unique. The brisket was good. Nothing extra ordinary. The pulled pork was solid as well. I actually liked the sauce called Sassy. Pretty cool restroom deco so you should check it out.
Cal C — Google review
Pretty decent barbecue. All the meats were cooked to perfection: the brisket was exceptionally tender and juicy. The ribs were also cooked really well, although the flavour was understated. The sides are small and unremarkable, the grits are not seasoned, the slaw lacks any acidity or tang. The beans are okay, but the texture feels like they are canned. The Mac and cheese was giving boxed mac & cheese vibes but still pretty tasty proving that even boxed mac and cheese can be delicious.
Remy H — Google review
Stopped in for some tasty BBQ and was not disappointed. I could smell the smoke from the restaurant from down the street. I had a cup of the brisket chowder, it was very creamy and full of flavor. I got a 2 meat plate with brisket, pork ribs, corn bread muffins, and deviled egg potato salad. The brisket was perfect. The pork ribs had a perfect bite to them and the sauce was amazing. The corn bread was the best I have had in a long time from a restaurant. They had a punch in the bar that went well with the BBQ. Everyone was super friendly and really put my experience over the top. I would definitely come back here if I was in the area.
Tim B — Google review
Absolute 10/10 BBQ spot. Great food and huge portions. The nachos are easily big enough for 2-3 people. Brisket was super tender, no sauce needed. The smoked chicken was moist and delicious. Super impressed and the service was awesome too. Highly recommended. Outstanding bang for your buck here.
John G — Google review
The food was delicious! The service was great. The portions of meat were pretty scant, but we were able to try almost all of the meats by purchasing two medium plates and sharing them between 3 of us (husband, son and myself). The sides were decent but I thought some needed more flavor/seasoning. The beer I tried was tasty and the have draft root beer! Lastly, the donut was ok. I had higher expectations from prior online review photos but it was definitely edible. I would recommend giving it a try to see for yourself! Overall, I'd likely eat here again.

It was really good brisket/smoked meat! We are from the south and didn’t expect much but we’re pleasantly surprised. Wish they had smoked turkey!! Good portion sizes and great service! Place wasn’t busy at all for a Saturday night. Wish they had some kid options though! We got the mac n cheese for our kids to share though.

We’ve been here several times. Reliably great food with all the sauces you could want. Service has always been wonderful with a chill atmosphere. I’m a huge fan of the brisket and pickled veggies, but love all the offerings. Miss the smoked trout and hope to see that return, it was unique and a great addition. One of my family’s favorite bbq places.

Pho restaurant
PHO& More in Gig Harbor is known for serving the perfect bowl of pho with a flavorful broth and well-cooked meats, including rare beef and briskets. The restaurant also offers options for vegans and vegetarians. In addition to pho, they serve BBQ pork, stock, pot stickers, and various beverage options like air pocket tea, coffee or Thai tea. The restaurant provides takeout food for those on-the-go and has received praise for its friendly staff.
Clean, prompt, delicious, and the employees remember regulars and their order. We feel valued here and the food is delicious, consistently. We never run out of water and are checked up on a good amount of times, not too much but not ignored. We love coming here.
Caleb H — Google review
I have to say, I drove all the way here 25 minutes away, and even paid a toll for crossing the bridge, just because of positive reviews, especially the one comparing one of the most famous places in Seattle and that apparently they're vegan pho is better here than over there. This is another lesson that I learned not to trust reviews fully. The pho was at best 3/5 stars, and i have had so many vegan and non vegan pho's in the last 10 years. I also ordered their shrimp fried rice and WOW, what an absolute disaster! I'll include pictures of how much oil that dish had ! I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE SEEN A DISH BEING SOAKED IN OIL OF THIS MAGNITUDE!!! The flavor was horrid, I couldn't finish it. Tasted like river and old oil. Never again. Service was super flat, less than average like a robot transaction but QUICKER. I wasted $40 plus $5 toll and gas for roundtrip 50 minutes away drive. Be aware
Tofik G — Google review
I visited this restaurant for a late lunch and decided to try their combination Pho. Having enjoyed Pho for many years, I believe my palate has become quite discerning when it comes to the quality and flavor of this beloved dish. Unfortunately, the Pho I received was merely average—neither remarkable nor memorable. At nearly $20, I expected something that would stand out, but the flavor profile was not even on par with a standard $16 bowl available at numerous other places. The broth lacked the depth of flavor I’ve come to appreciate, and the ingredients didn’t seem notably fresher or more unique than what you’d find elsewhere. Additionally, the restaurant had a minimum 15% tip policy at checkout, which felt excessive and gave the impression that they were more focused on maximizing profits than on providing a genuine dining experience. It felt like an operation more concerned with hitting a jackpot from each customer rather than creating a positive experience for diners.
Gregory S — Google review
Pho' & More is so close to being a 5-star spot, but the prices are just a bit too high. The food is always good and the staff are super friendly, but spending over $23 for a small bowl (after tax and tip) feels steep for pho. I’ve been to plenty of other places in the area that are just as good (if not slighly better) for less. That said, if you don’t mind paying a bit extra, it’s still worth checking out. The quality and consistency are always on point.
Cameron J — Google review
We ordered Vegan Pho and vegan fried rice. The Pho was OK, the tofu was tasteless and too mushy in the middle. The broth is excellent, not salty at all! The fried rice is seasoned really well, lots of veggies, it would have received 5 stars, but it was dripping with oil. The parking here is not great. The place is clean, I really liked that there is a napkin dispenser on the table. It's kind of gross that the soup spoons, forks, and chop sticks are on the table, so you don't know if the last person there sneezed all over them or not! Eeewww, I'm glad I tried it. We will not go back.
Michelle C — Google review
Good pho place..... I go for the teryaki, and the Bahn mi sandwiches. Very good food.
Jason B — Google review
This place was amazing!! I would go here again. My friend had the sandwich and she said it was so flavorful. Came out of this restaurant unbuttoned my pants since I ate so much. Coffee was strong but that's how I like it. The pho has flavor I add the chili paste makes a big difference. The eggrolls were crispy.
Lucia M — Google review
It was the first time that we had a meal at this restaurant, and we're sure we will come again! I love the chicken wings, not too salty and not too dry. We also ordered a rice plate with grilled chicken, pho, and spring rolls, which were pretty good too! However, I'm not a fan of the Vietnamese coffee, it's too bitter for me, but it tasted better after I added more water in it. Also, the customer service was good.

B's Bagels & Butters is a popular spot in The Harbor, gaining attention for its delicious bagels and variety of cream cheese schmears. Visitors are impressed by the quality of the bagels, noting their perfect balance of crunchy exterior and soft interior. The sandwiches are also highly praised for their taste, while the cream cheeses receive glowing reviews. In addition to the food, customers appreciate the wonderful staff who provide excellent service.
I haven't even pulled away from the parking lot and I need to give this place a full 10/10. Maybe I'm just excited I finally found a delicious bagel place near me. But I think they are just that good. Seems like they have a great selection of bagels and smears along with rotating options to keep things fresh. I made my own breakfast sandwich, which was huge and delicious. I only have to personally knock them a tiny bit for not having a blueberry bagel. Hopefully I catch it rotating sometime. They had some vegan options, and they also serve espresso drinks. I had to grab a couple bagels to go because everything looked so good. I can't wait to be back.

What went well you ask? Everything! Speaking of everything, my Everything Bagel and the Cream Cheeeese! So delicious! To get my caffeine fix for the day, I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte. The flavor was great and made with the perfect amount of ice. Haha, there’s a photo below of my almost empty cup because I drank it up it was so good and didn’t take a photo of it full. Next time though! I can’t wait to come back and try one of their specialty drinks of the month. They looked great from what I saw others ordering. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment I walked in. Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. What really impressed me was the thoughtful menu—there’s something here for everyone, from classic bagel lovers to those with dietary preferences or adventurous tastes. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit. B’s Bagels & Butters is truly raising the bar for what a great bagel shop can be! Well done!
Ashley D — Google review
These were by far the best bagels we’ve ever had. We discovered it on our third day of our visit and then ate there each morning from the next three days. The jalapeño with salmon spread was DELICIOUS!! Also, all of the staff were so nice and friendly. Loved hanging out on the little couch playing cards and eating bagels. “:)
Mryearbook — Google review
This place is a yes and no for me. The eggs for the breakfast sandwiches are really weird in texture. And the smoked salmon bagel hardly has smoked salmon on it. Those are my two favorite kinds of bagel sandwiches. With that being said I do enjoy their variety of flavors and I’ve had bites of my husbands choices and they have been good. The place is pretty cramped inside most times we’ve been there, it is a smaller shop so I get it. Service has always been friendly and quick for the most part. I also enjoy that they do get creative with their drinks and cream cheese flavors. Maybe one day I’ll find something I really love there and can comeback and bump up a star but for now this is in the middle for me. I’d say definitely give it a try tho!
Alayna M — Google review
B’s bagels is always so wonderful. This is my 3rd visit and I’m never disappointed. The first time I went, my husband and I ordered a sandwich (DELICIOUS) and took some bagels home. The chocolate chip bagel is so nostalgic for me and it is amazing!! The variety of bagels inspired me to do a Mother’s Day bagel spread. I went and got a couple of each kind. The variety and taste of each bagel is incredible. The texture is so chewy and soft. Perfection. I went in today and of course I left with a delicious bagel to enjoy in the sunshine. Love love going to B’s! And whoever is buying up the chocolate chip, can we be friends?? Haha
Kathryn O — Google review
Omg the bagel sandwiches were delicious! And the matcha, which I could sweeten how I wanted! Cons: long lines even on a weekday morning, and somewhat confusing menu and specials menu structure.
Mary S — Google review
We love B’s! And they are so good, they sell out quickly, which makes me so happy for them. I hope they are thriving. Get there early! We don’t make it there often, but it’s always such a treat. I am so grateful for the vegan spreads and always look forward to finding out what the bagel of the month is. Staff are always friendly and quick. Don’t fear the line! It moves fast! Family favorites of ours are the pumpernickel rye, parmesan/truffle, and french toast.

I grew up eating bagels, and was so pleased when I found the spot after we moved to Gig Harbor. The bagels are delicious. The atmosphere is so cute, the people are friendly. The drinks are great too. On the weekends, it can get pretty busy, and the line can be out the door. The good news is, you can pre-order your bagels ahead of time if you wanna order half a dozen or a dozen bagels to last you for the week and keep in the freezer.

The food is FANTASTIC, I got the chicken teriyaki bowl, with Gyoza, I wish I had taken a Pic, because I thought it was just going to be chicken and rice but there were vegetables and it made it 10 times better. My daughter got a Bento and the California roll was delicious. I highly recommend this place, surprised it wasn't full of customers. Everything was yummy, and filling. Next time I'll take pics.

Hello my fellow food entrepreneurs, Today, I'm very happy to write this review for Tokyo Teriyaki restaurant in Gig Harbor. To me, this is the proverbial, ("Hole in the Wall") restaurant that cooks amazing food! I give total credit to my daughter who found this restaurant because we've lived in Gig Harbor for 10 years and I didn't know it was here. It is located in the same strip mall as the post office! Let me just say, I highly recommend the Chicken Teriyaki dinner, Yakisoba noodles and Miso soup. The restaurant provides a very quaint inside dining experience boasting only about ten tables. The great thing about some smaller restaurants that provide awesome food is the more personal touch. We did order our food "To go" but while we waited we took the opportunity to check out the decor. They have very pretty Japanese pictures on the walls and a carved wooden boat on a side table. The maitre d was very friendly and while we waited gave us two little cups of miso soup to try for free-delicious! I will provide some pictures and in a couple weeks a short video. We really loved the food and the restaurant I think it's absolutely a necessity to try this restaurant!!! Saludos, James...
James — Google review
We did not have a great experience here last night. We came in on a Monday, and we were the only two people in the restaurant but still waited nearly an hour for food that just wasn't that good. Part of the reason we waited so long were due to online orders as people were coming to pick up orders, but people inside the actual restaurant shouldn't have to wait nearly an hour for something as basic as chicken and rice. The lady who helped us was very sweet, and I would prefer to give a better review, but I just can't consider our experience. There are good reviews, so maybe it was just an off night, but I wouldn't go back. Oh, but the salad was good 👍

We had a wonderful experience here. I had the chicken yakisoba. The portion was huge, it wasn’t overly saucy or greasy, and I was impressed with the quality of the chicken and large quantity of vegetables. Many places skimp on the veggies but this place did not and I loved it. My husband had General Taos chicken- sooo good. Quality white meat large chunks of chicken. My son got a Cali roll. It was huge, loaded with avocado (many places skimp on the avocado too). All around 10/10 experience. Waitress was very friendly and service was pretty quick. Oh and the miso soup is good. We easily got 2-3 meals out of each entree.

I had the sesame chicken bento box, and my companion had chicken yakisoba. The serving were delicious and very large. Friendly staff. Very clean restaurant. We'll be back!

LOVE Qdoba so, so much! Literal favorite in the area and overall. Nothing but praise from me! I don’t do a lot of business in Gig Harbor but Qdoba is ALWAYS a stop when I do. Amazing, affordable, fresh food and the staff never judges when I say “more cheese, please”. 😍 (@Qdoba- I’m so sorry for the original poor review, I don’t recall having left it so thank you for responding so I could correct it!)
Chelsea H — Google review
Been going to this Qdoba for a long time—not sure when we’ll be back. They really don’t care about your food at all. Had the smallest burrito ever that was basically just tortilla folded over itself. Also, who puts that much salt on your chips? Do you geniuses ever taste the BS you’re selling? If I wanted to order rock salt on stale chips, I would’ve specified that. So much more I want to say but I’m going to refrain from really tearing people down. I’ll just leave it at: I will never vote to increase the minimum wage because it enables and encourages incompetency. Do better.

I really enjoyed my first couple visits to Qdoba. Good food and a good price. However, it seems that each time I have gone since, the food quality has gone down and the price has gone up. I do not think we will be going back.

Ordered delivery. Food is usually really good. Tonight my steak burrito was mostly dry unseasoned brown rice. Steak, what little there was in it, was tough and fatty. The guacamole was subbed for hard unripe chunks of avocado. No corn salsa, no sour cream. Did they just run out of everything and think they would just throw together a sub par burrito? Disappointed to say the least.

It was dead when I came in with a couple ahead of me. They ordered 5 bowls. Cool. Except only 1 worker making orders. There were 3 other people working at the time. One was walking around the other was cleaning and 3rd was putting sauces in bottles. The line kept getting longer and longer, almost out the door. How long does the line need to be in order for this girl to get help. Shame on management for not stepping up to help. As well as all the other employees. I've never waited 30 mins in line at a place that's suppose to be fast food. They took just as long as a restaurant. They might as well start seating people and taking orders at tables if this is how they run things. And on top of that I ordered mango salsa with chips and queso with chips and only got 1 small bag of chips for both large containers of salsa/queso means you stole my money and didn't give me what I paid for. Shady business! Service could be better by having an extra employee up front helping making the food. This is the 2nd time I've came in and received the same service. Gave it another chance and probably will go to Chipotle for now on. Qdobas just isn't it anymore.
Ali P — Google review
Do not order online. When the app says it is ready and you go inside to pick it up they will brush you aside. Then you will wait for each person in the line to order and get their food made. The line is never ending and therefore you would have gotten your food faster if you would have just gone in and ordered. Customers who walked in 15 minutes after mine showed ready for pickup are still getting their food made before mine. Getting ready to just get in line and place a new order. It has now been 20 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready and the gal said they service walk in customers before online orders so you can wait hours depending how busy they are. Do not order online or best to just avoid this business.

Did not eat hear today. I used to years ago. Stood at counter with 3 people at front for like 5 minutes and was never greeted acknowledged or made eye contact with. Walked out most unfriendly place I have been in years.

Carl's Jr. is a beloved fast-food chain that has carved out a niche for itself with its mouthwatering selection of towering burgers and satisfying meal combos, not to mention their delightful shakes. Located in Gig Harbor, this spot is particularly renowned for its charbroiled burgers and crispy fries, making it an ideal choice for those craving a quick yet delicious bite. The atmosphere at Carl's Jr.
Our first time experience here was soothing. Professional service indeed. Quick service and delicious food. Onion rings are crispy and intact. It has a downstairs dinning and a nice sitting area on the 2nd level. With a over view scene of the shopping center. So, if your in the area and need of a delicious food, family friendly environment. Highly recommend.. 🤙🤙 please improve this paragraph

While Carl's Jr isn't as good as Hardy's it is about the best fast food hamburger joint in the area, competing with many fast casual hamburger joints. It's a step above Wendy's and much better than Burger King and Jack-in-the-box. All of which taste better than the other fast food place with golden arches. Came during dinner and it was fast, we didn't get pulled, the special request burgers were correctly made, tasted good and hot. The only complaint is the over $5 for the shake that was tiny, maybe 8 or 10 ounces and not frozen completely, but unlike McD's who almost always claim that the shake machine is broken, at least it was available. Including tax it came to $25.33 for a double Famous Star, a double cheeseburger, a large tea and the tiny shake; no combo meals. While outrageously expensive, it is very competitively priced. A recent visit to Habit Burger Grill was $21.13 for a Double Char Burger, a Single Char Burger, a medium tea and a water. Habit's patties are close in size to Carle's Double Cheeseburger. Add in $5+ for a shake, and probable 50 cents more for a large tea puts Habit at about $27 with less meat, less flavor and taking 5x times as long to make.

I'm happy to be reunited with this restaurant chain. It's not Carl's Jr. if I don't have my crisscut fries.
Claire D — Google review
Almost $10 for this, rather $9.33. For just a sandwich no sides nothing extra. I’m not one to ever frequent fast food unless it’s an emergency and my blood sugar drops, but this was absolutely insane. It’s tiny and even with the globs of mayo it was dry. Their corporate needs to know that they cannot jack up prices and completely sacrifice every ounce of quality and no one will notice. I went back and got my money. Its nuts.

Used to Love going here but today i Went in for a bacon cheeseburger with ranch Sauce and the sauce was expired and super sour. Not sure what to do about this. And the side of 2 sauce packets were opened already. Not sure if it was an off day or not.

The little blonde haired girl helping me was quick with it. Very professional and had napkins and sauce already in the bag. Answered my question before I even asked. If she's not manager, then she probably should. But she's going places. Other then that my fried zucchini was yummy but the frozen strawberry lemonade was a bit too sour for me. Not he fault though.

Dairy Queen is a beloved fast-food chain that has become synonymous with delightful soft-serve ice cream and classic burger-and-fries fare. Known for its signature shakes and the iconic DQ Signature All Occasion Cake, it’s a go-to spot for families celebrating special moments, like birthdays. Many patrons fondly recall ordering their delicious ice cream cakes over the years, making Dairy Queen a nostalgic favorite.
Hello, peanut butter pie blizzard!! 😘😘 I’ve only ordered through the window each time I’ve been here. Been coming here for years. Never had a negative experience. 4/8/25- I’ve been thinking about my spending lately, so when I realized I was spending $7 for an ice cream, I was starting to rethink how this purchase was not a good idea. BUT when I got to the window and the guy working there handed out this glorious blizzard with a smile it was all worth it! I don’t recall ever getting a smile with my blizzard. AND look at that whipped cream on top! I’m just a kid at heart! That was one of the best experiences there!

When visiting this location, there was only one other car in line. This is what I got for my burger and fries. I also ordered a large fry and 2 blizzards one for me and one for my wife. I didn't get the right blizzard either time and I was missing the large fry and when I asked for it to be fixed I got ignored the first time and attitude the second time. I won't be returning to the Gig Harbor location

A long enjoyed Gig Harbor establishment. It offers the typical Dairy Queen menu items including their popular frozen treats. The staff were friendly, the service was expeditious and the restaurant dining area was clean. There is a drive through option for orders. The GH DQ has always had a 1959’s old school Rock n Roll motif, featuring Elvis Presley memorabilia. A good stop on a hot day to cool off with some ice cream based frozen treats.

Place is cute but needs a cleaning! The teens behind the counter were very friendly and nice to my kids. we just got icecream and as always was delicious.

I’ve had two bad experiences at this location in the past few months with the same issue: Blizzards that are melted and soupy instead of thick and blended. Tonight I paid a lot of money for our order and ended up throwing mine away. Looking at other reviews, it’s clear this is a recurring problem. The store needs to check and maintain their soft-serve machine, because this is not acceptable quality. Please address this issue.
Sara F — Google review
The dairy queen team gave me and the customer after me the same order number. Order number 73. Twenty people walked in after I ordered. I notified the staff of the situation as they were serving multiple customer's that paid after me with larger orders. Instead of making my ice cream and shake sending me on my way they then made every other customer's items before serving me mine claiming they were slammed today. My food was done approxi and 10/15 minutes before my shake and blizzard. Seemed to be done out of spite. Not the way to treat someone due to a technical problem on your business's end.

At the price of fast food it becomes more important to get the little things right. I went through the drive thru having ordered chili cheese dogs with raw onion and mustard. Four miles away I discovered I had no mustard. Silly complaint, right? But still. My chili dogs disappointed. Maybe it will be better next time - if there is a next time.
Mark S — Google review
Tell people ahead of time that are ordering blizzards that you are have an issue with the blizzard machine not freezing the icecream. We were handed blizzards that were softer than a shake. 5 blizzards to be exact. With out the iconic blizzard flip. I wonder why. Probably because it would ran out of the cup faster than you could realize it was falling out.

Ah, McDonald's! This iconic fast-food chain has been delighting taste buds for decades with its mouthwatering burgers and crispy fries. Picture sinking your teeth into a Big Mac, where juicy beef meets that famous special sauce and fresh lettuce—a true flavor sensation! And let’s not forget those golden fries; they’re perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. If you're in the mood for something bite-sized, their McNuggets are simply irresistible.
Friendly staff, excellent service. They brought our order and offered to serve the ice cream later, so it doesn't melt sitting on the table. May sound like a small thing, but this never happened to me at any other McDonald's location!

Typical McDonald’s. Fast and friendly service with good tasting fast food. Restrooms were clean. Toilets, soap dispenser, sink, and hand dryers were all touch less. Kids play place was closed so we didn’t get a chance to try it out. They also help conserve calories too. This is how a large fries look like. It sure does look different at the other McDonald’s locations.

I don't know how this location doesn't have 6 stars. I've lived in Gig Harbor for 10 years and have 5 children. This location is always fast and efficient. They haven't ONCE messed up my order. I know, I know, that's not possible... but it's true. The food is always hot and I have no idea how they are THAT fast??! I know McDonalds isn't our first choice for a place to stop for a bite to eat, but honestly, this location always comes in clutch for us when we're in a rush and hungry.

This may be a bit much, but we didn't get some things that we ordered, and this guy gave us 2 honey mustard wraps and cheesy tots for free. And he also got me a new sprite, along with the spicy mozzarella fries we didn't get. He was extremely polite and calm and I really appreciated the extra items.

My family and I waited for almost an hour at the drive through today. The guy at the window said it was just him and 1 cook working but there was no sign saying that there was limited staff and extended wait time. Also did tell us there was no soda until our food was finally given to us and didn't want to give our second drink that we paid for already.

Employees do the best they can. However. Probably the worst Burger King on the planet. They are often out of items, stuff is broke. We used to bring our kids here back in the, “glory days” around 2005-2010. It WAS so great. The owner should sell it as he/she is inept. Yes, honestly, it is really that bad. Please, please sell it. Or shut her down.

OMG, the WORST fast food experience I’ve EVER had, and I’m old! I’m filling this review out while I’ve been sitting here for 30 minutes in the drive through. I’m not even staying. It took at least 3-5 minutes for the guy in front of me to order. As soon as I pulled up to the speaker they asked me to wait and I waited at least 5 minutes for him to come back to the speaker. Then I waited and waited to inch my way up to the window. I finally decided to leave once I FINALLY reached the window because I’m not giving my money to this particular establishment. Why would I? We have other choices in town and I’m going to through DQ now and things are moving along nicely. In 9 years I’ve only used this BK twice and they’ve had major issues besides tonight. Never again.

Fast food restaurant
Subway is a popular casual dining chain that specializes in customizable sandwiches and salads, catering to health-conscious diners. Known for its commitment to nutritious fast food, Subway offers a variety of low-calorie options and even gluten-free bread, making it an appealing choice for those seeking healthier meals on the go. Many patrons appreciate the transparency regarding calorie counts displayed prominently in-store. While experiences can vary, some customers have noted exceptional service from staff who genuinely care about their work and customer satisfaction.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to say something after this visit. The two young men working today absolutely nailed it — from the moment I walked in, they were smiling, upbeat, and clearly took pride in what they were doing. It wasn’t just polite service — they had real energy and made the experience enjoyable. On top of that, they made the best-tasting sandwich I’ve ever had at Subway — fresh, perfectly made, and exactly how I asked (maybe even better!) You could tell they actually cared. Whoever’s managing this store, Levi and Charlie are not only super nice, they are very hard working and dedicated to their craft. Definitely deserves some recognition. Great job guys!

Used to really like this Subway but now the employees whine a lot while they're making your sandwiches, they barely put any veggies on it and the last time I went in there was no one in line and they said it was going to be at least 10 minutes until they could make my sandwich due to online orders they needed to do. I've since started going to the Subway on Point Fossick (which is open 24 hrs! 🎉) who has had consistently kind employees or the one in Key Center (which has a drive through! 🎉) and has super nice employees!

ASHLEY IS A BOSS. Came in 4/17/25, she was alone because a coworker had a family emergency, but was holding it down like A CHAMPION. Why would you have a storefront stay open until 10 and refuse to take orders because 10 minutes is too close to closing. This store is at apparently the manager is Maria and the person working said that is what she was told. Terrible customer service.

This Subway is not too far from my house. It's a clean quiet the people are pretty friendly nice thing about this one they have a little isolated area used to be set up a the TV couple years back but you can go in there and sit and have more privacy if you want to talk to somebody. It's a weird little keishin in a way because it's in the same parking lot as an Albertsons or and kind of next to a Target so it's kind of out of the way I give it two or three for atmosphere just because it's not really too much music has no TV pretty quiet in there. **UPDATED VISIT*** I went to this subway today May 25th. At 1:15 and the two girls in there working were The WORST! They had the worst attitude a horrible disposition they were rude and especially the one working behind the register to checked us out. If you're the owner of this subway you need to Educate both of these employees in manners!

With ample parking and a convenient drive-thru, it’s easy to grab your meal on the go.
June 2024- For years I have asked for extra pickles on my burgers at various McDonald’s locations. About three days ago my extra pickle slice request was finally granted. There were so many on the burgers, and someone even threw a loose handful in the bag. Thanks for not being like every other garbage location and literally offering only two pickle slices upon my request for extra pickles. That is all! Good job. Nov 2024- stopped by at about 9:30 PM. The cashier in the drive thru made recommendations on the menu and treated me with genuine care, making helpful suggestions. The burgers and chicken sandwich were cooked to perfection, like no other McDonalds ever. Thank you for being a good business that does things right.

If you're on the hunt for delicious pizza, look no further than Papa John's! This popular take-out and delivery chain is known for its classic and specialty pizzas, alongside tasty wings, sides, and desserts. At their Gig Harbor location, you'll find a delightful array of fresh pizzas topped with signature sauce and real mozzarella cheese. The pepperoni pizza is particularly beloved, featuring pepperoni in nearly every bite!
I love this location. I pay the Bridge toll and travel further to get my pizza from these guys. Clean restaurant and friendly staff. The pizza is always the best here. The franchise switched to a call center for phone orders so it's better to go there to order. I always leave a tip and they appreciate that. This is the only store that will offer me plates, cups and napkins. I work a lot and they see me eat out in the parking lot sometimes. Never hassle me and if I'm outside they even bring my order out when it's done if they aren't slammed of course. I recommend this location out of the 4 or 5 I've visited. Can't say I enjoy going to any other pizza places to get my order. Well.. except I'm usually hungry and who doesn't like pizza!? Thank you Gig Harbor Papa John's for your hospitality!

Terrible experience. Ordered pizza delivery. Delivery time was much longer than expected. Additionally there were different delivery times mentioned by Papa John’s as well as who they use for delivery, DoorDash. Pizza arrived essentially cold. Cheese pizza was made correctly however. Custom made pizza lacked ingredients that were ordered. Overall very unsatisfied with the experience. Definitely not worth the $75 spent for two pizzas and one order of boneless chicken wings.
Chris S — Google review
I order from this location almost every week. Late, usually by about 30 minutes, almost everytime I order. Pizza quality is fine, timeliness is not. Often delivery is handed over to Doordash which results in extremely late delivery, cold pizza, and often missing side items. Doordash is substantially more inconvenient than just driving down for pickup. The problem is you don't know it's transfered to Doordash until it's too late.
Daniel C — Google review
Never again. One pizza arrived with Ranch dressing smeared over the entire pizza instead of pizza sauce (see pics). They gave no refund or replacement, despite it being not what we ordered, except a free pizza "next time" that the manager would make a note of in his "black book." The manager said that it was a system mistake that they will fix and said to call corporate. Corporate said that they would call back in 48 hours. They haven't yet. The entire order was lukewarm anyway when it arrived, but after dealing with trying to give them the opportunity to correct the problem with no result, everything was cold. That's fine for the bottles of soda, I guess. I ate a microwaveable meal from my freezer instead of Ranch covered pizza. The manager said that the drivers fight to deliver to our place because we tip well. If this is how they treat their supposed favored customers, look out if you aren't one... or look out if you are one.
C G — Google review
First, I must say that I've always experienced good service from the employees at this location. My issues have nothing to do with the service... I love pizza but I've never been a huge crust fan, so the crust has to be good for me to give the pizza a good review. And sadly (and might I add of no fault of the employees) eating a Papa John crust (stuffed crust too) tastes like nothing. There is zero seasoning or butter or anything to give the dough any flavor. And even the mozzarella cheese was bland. Money is tight for everyone right now. But I would rather spend double the price to get a pizza with a good tasting crust than buy a Papa John's pizza again. 😣
Amy M — Google review
Wanted to try that "dipper" pizza and, of course, they didn't give me any of the 4 dipping sauces it's supposed to come with.

Warning, this place is disgusting. The employees are beyond incompetent and they scratch their butt and then touch the food, even saw the one bald guy working the front register pick his nose and then handle food. I would stay far away from here and hopefully something will replace this one day. It's a shame because Papa John's is pretty good. Oh, and if you go inside to pick up your food in person, they will leave you sitting there typically for 15 minutes without helping you. This has happened to me countless times along with everyone else I know in town.

(8/26/25) Good to have you back, KFC Meal: - Sandwich - Incredible chicken with incredible buns - Nuggets - Herby, tender, and juicy - Wedges - Perfectly crispy and indulgent - Biscuits - Buttery, pillowy, perfect Sauces: - Buffalo ranch - Way more creamy and tangy than McDonald’s - Comeback - Lives up to its zesty peppery flavor - Honey BBQ - Way better than DQ BBQ sauce - KFC sauce - Tasteless - Sticky Chicky - Nothing to McDonald’s sweet n sour Btw: - Biscuit chicken sandwiches need to more of a thing - Double dip, it’s worth it / (9/1/25) Spicy #9, KFC - Sandwich: Crunchier and more herby than a spicy McCrispy. Third best compared to Big Chicken chicken - Fries and co.: perfect as always - Same with creamy vanilla Pepsi

Stopped after work today. I get off at 5 pm. You would think they would have fresh food out especially around this hour but I guess not. I was excited to get the wings they recently brought back. I ordered honey bbq. When I got home I had plain spicy wings that were old. My wedges tasted like they had been sitting there since noon. Absolutely inedible. I will never go back to this location ever again.

Definitely the worst KFC i have ever eaten at... I've been here twice in the past 12 months. The 1st time I remember the food being cold, really stale, and hard as a rock. I decided to give it another try. No way it could be that bad twice. I was proven wrong.... it was way worse. I ordered a 8 piece family meal, asked for original and got all extra crispy. Asked for all dark meat and got all white meat. 4 of the pices were literally just shriveled remnants from sitting under the light all day. The other 4 pieces were so dry and hard that I couldn't eat it. Mac and cheese was ice cold and looked like it sat on the counter for a week before sold to me. All $50 of "food" was thrown in the garbage. After ordering to-go and getting home, I wasn't going to waste more time and money driving it back. DO NOT EAT HERE

My husband went into KFC Gig Harbor and ordered a family meal to go. It's supposed to have 8 pieces of chicken. IT DID NOT- their were only 7. Having a B.A. we are both adept at counting. He called KFC to complain and the person speaking to him suggested that he bring the order in so that they could recount the pieces. Seriously??? We are 13 miles away and you think we should burden ourselves with driving back? Perhaps you should ensure that your orders are packed correctly! In addition, the person who spoke to me on the phone hung up on me abruptly. Apparently this location garners a lot of negative reviews given the 2.9 rating. Never again!

The worst chicken in the world! Used to be good. Am sooo disappointed and dissatisfied. Been there twice in the last month. I found No Cole slaw in my order 1st time two weeks ago and they only had two pieces or original at dinner rush time. This time I ordered a 16 piece dinner, they said they only had original type, again a dinner rush time. I said fine, that’s great. (Don’t like breaded anyway). Paid over $50 and never had worse overcooked tough heavily extra breaded chicken in my life. My husband and I suffered eating it but I can’t believe how terribly they’ve gone down hill. And for $50!!! Can’t eat the wings at all. Most of it went in the garbage. Wish this wasn’t true, as when I’m on my way home from a long tiring day I don’t want burgers from a drive through. We thought KFC was one place you could count on something better.

my chicken was cold and wet from moisture inside, the tall white mail, may have had a bit of curly hair, told me fries would take 30 mins to fry? like im a real cook, fries “frozen fries take 5 mins at the max in a fryer. they missed my drink and one of my orders. i don’t know what the kids out of uniform behind the desk were doing. also the kids can’t count still, i was missing 2 chicken strips from my 6 piece. and they forgot my soda with my meal.
