I came here with work for a colleagues leaving meal and was really impressed. The decor was spot on, it felt really authentic and was well thought out. Cleanliness was good, even the toilets. The food and drinks, were the star of the show. I had a 2 course set meal and opted for the Prawns starter in tequila sauce and the Ribs for the main. Prawns could do with more bread as there was a lot of sauce left over. The ribs portion is huge, was well cooked and fell off the bone. The cocktails that I had were really good. The service was fast and attentive and overall excellent value for money. Would recommend and return!

We dropped (walk/in) into this excellent local Rugby restaurant on a Thursday evening. The Mexican theme, menu and quality of the food was excellent, no complaints at all. Our server , Lucy was brilliant nothing was too hard for her, her winning smile and professionalism do her proud. A1 - La Casa Loco will be our first choice next time we are travelling through.

We had high hopes for our visit to Harvester in Rugby, but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas. The space where we were seated was uncomfortably cold we had to keep our jackets on throughout the meal, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the evening. Cleanliness was another issue. The table didn’t feel properly wiped down, the cutlery had visible stains. I ordered the ribeye steak, expecting something tender and flavorful, but it was incredibly chewy with almost no taste. For a dish that’s supposed to be a highlight, it was very underwhelming. Overall, it felt like attention to detail and basic comfort were missing. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend it based on this visit.

Visited yesterday with my partner after a shopping trip to Rugby centre, and we were pleasantly surprised! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the barman prepared some fantastic drinks for us. We ordered the skewered chicken and pork belly – absolutely delicious, way better than we expected! Big thanks to the team for the warm hospitality and great food. Highly recommend 💯

Impressed by this harvester as they are never normally bad nor are they out of this world. The B&B rugby however was far better than other harvesters I’ve been to and hence the 5* review. From the start it presented a very clean and friendly atmosphere from walking in the door, staff were friendly and welcoming and our table was ready. Service was excellent as was the food and with a birthday discount voucher so was the price (That said without one, it’s still not bad) The price below included drinks, starter and a main. Very happy and will be visiting again even though I am not local.

We had a wonderful experience! Our waiter called Joana was incredibly nice and helpful, and the food was fantastic! Every dish was delicious and perfectly prepared. We come here every now and then and staff are always so polite. Joana is always so friendly and polite to everyone she is serving!

We've been here for breakfast and dinner and both experiences were great. The site has adequate parking and is close to a retail park should you wish to go shopping. Breakfast, usual options available. Very tasty and well cooked. Dinner, varied menu from which we enjoyed our meals. Service here is very good. This has become a firm favourite for us.

Really nice atmosphere and very pretty design and decor! We had steaks which were nice but cooked to preference! Other than that it was very tasty and enjoyable!

Cappuccino with wipe cream was yummy very delicious café ! Favorite dessert is the bread & butter pudding was warm tasty and well flavored, melts in your mouth! The Dubai chocolate cheese cake was crunchy light chocolate mouse with a cranberry blue berry sauce on the side. Definitely would return a must dessert experience.

Lovely restaurant! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the duck parfait to start which was absolutely delicious, followed by the pork belly—perfectly cooked with crispy crackling on the side. There were lots of yummy vegetables too. Overall, I definitely recommend!

I honestly can not remember the last time I went out for a meal and was utterly blown away by the quality of it. I wouldn't in a million years have imagined that Rugby has one of the best restaurants in England. You can tell (and taste) how much love and respect the chef has for their trade. Please do yourself a favour and visit this restaurant.

We have eaten at CVC many times and always had a 5 star experience with them. Last month we chose to have our wedding with them and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would. The coordinators were there for me every step of the way, all the staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. The chefs are incredibly talented. The bar staff make beautiful drinks. Everyone just bent over backwards to make sure we had the most amazing, completely personalised day! Every single one of my guests said how impressed they were with the food (and some of them are hard to impress) Can’t thank them enough for such a special day. Highly recommend for meals out and events.

Visited with my wife for breakfast during a short break in Rugby. Friendly welcome from the manager Sally in this spacious, comfortable cafe in a great location in the heart of the town centre. Great service & fantastic breakfast, if we lived in Rugby this would be our favourite eating place.

Pretty decent cafe to have a meal and a drink. Went there for a breakfast in the morning and therefore later on the evenings for the drinks and some food Could say it's not the best but it's a good place to eat and have a drink Prices are not the cheapest but also are not overpriced Would recommend it

I’m not one to normally leave reviews ! But my god ! I have to say ! Been going to bacco lounge for years and the past couple years the food has been okay… not amazing, but still good. But went last night and noticed they had changed their menu, tried their brisket sandwich! Ahh it was like heaven in my mouth !! The new chef ( I’m assuming) needs a pay rise !! He is a god in the kitchen !! Best meal I’ve ever had !! Well done bacco lounge !

Enjoyed Sri Lankan mildly spiced coconut curry with coriander rice, lime and spring onions, with marinated chicken, and garlic flatbread. Plus a pint of Birra Moretti. Quality ingredients, and generous serving. Very busy when we dined from 12 noon, but there was space to move around, and the staff maintained prompt and cheerful service.

If I could give 6 stars I would!! Tried this little gem as it was near work & super impressed. The staff are very friendly & helpful, the atmosphere fun & relaxed & the food is absolutely amazing!! We had the mixed grill & shared a butter chicken & naan bread. I could have eaten twice it was so good!! By sharing, I had enough room for dessert & I went for the passion fruit cheesecake with raspberry sorbet which was to die for. I did try a bit of the chocolaty dessert with caramel ice cream which was rich but not sickly. Absolutely recommended & will definitely be going back. Also had a glass of wine; nice complimentary flavours & a good selection. I think this might become my new local

Can’t recommend it highly enough. A fabulous family lunch. The food and service were excellent and the lovely staff, including Rohan, couldn’t do enough for us. We’ll be back and are going to try their other restaurant, the George at Kilsby very soon.

We came here before food was being served we was greeted by a lovely man who asked the chef if we could still eat as we was on the road and didn’t have time to wait. The chef agreed and we were seated and made to feel completely at home. The food came and was absolutely amazing, the staff were great. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Went here for Sunday lunch. The pork steak and spiced roast chicken plus cauliflower cheese followed by a sticky toffee pudding to share. The pub is nice and everyone there seemed to be enjoying it. Don't get me wrong, the food wasn't 'perfect'. The roast potatoes could have been crisper and the pork a bit more moist. However, it was bloody tasty. I don't think I came up for air whilst shovelling the food down. The gravy was fantastic and the cauliflower cheese great. The chicken was huge with a hint of Indian spices, but just that, a hint. It was lovely. The sticky toffee pudding with ice cream was perfect. That didn't last long either. They also serve Indian food for lunch too and the portions and quality looked great. A few people had that for lunch and it seemed to go down well. 👌👌👌

Had a very very tasty vegetarian Indian Sunday roast. Absolutely loved it and will be back! Service with a smile too.

We had lovely midweek dinner with family. The team were very welcoming and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. All of the food was delicious but I had the cod cooked in a banana leaf from the small plates section. I have previously been to Kerala and I've never eaten Indian food in Britain that tasted as authentic as that, it was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back soon.

First experience of a carvery and these guys really did it justice beyond the food. The service was wonderful! It was a last minute decision and they were able to book us in a party of 8 ready in 20mins!! They were busy and I've always wanted to try this place. They have a nice soft play area. The food is pretty standard and I like the variety. It is really good value!

I am working away and came in for some food and was immediately greeted with a smile and shown to a seat and served by Aveline. After finishing my food (which was spot on! The stake was as rare as i asked for!) I was approached by a friendly lady called Bonnie who came to make sure I was ok. Overall an brilliant experience.

Bonnie is amazing! She’s so helpful and couldn’t have gone more above and beyond if tried!! She also has amazing hair extensions, it’s lovely to see people taking care of themselves in service!!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a staff member who showed us to our table and promised to return in five minutes to take our drinks order. However, about 15 minutes passed before he arrived, only to take another table’s order. We ordered starters and mains. The starters arrived quickly, but my partner’s sharing platter didn’t come with the rest. We waited another 10 minutes before asking about it, and he informed us of a kitchen mix-up that required another 10 minutes. By then, my dad and I had finished our starters. When the sharing platter finally arrived, we noticed some of the food was missing, and the rest didn’t look appealing. Despite this, we didn’t want to send it back and wait another 10 minutes, so we just ate it. When our mains came out, my partner’s mixed grill was well-done, and he requested the steak to be cooked medium-rare, so he didn’t eat it. He was disappointed but still ate it because he was starving and didn’t want to wait any longer. He also found the peas vile and the chips were cold. There was no follow-up on how the food was, which is a crucial aspect of hospitality as i’m a waitress myself. I overheard the waiter mention a 35-40 minute wait for food, which I can understand if there was only one person in the kitchen. However, there were about five other tables, and each table had no more than two people. My partner did speak to a manager, who apologised for the food and removed his meals from the bill. He also offered us a round of drinks, which we declined because we just wanted to leave. I don’t like to complain, but overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Despite growing up in the area this was my first "proper" time at The George and, have to say, first impressions were very good. Light, bright decor inside with plenty of seating options, including a dedicated dining area for meals and a spacious beer garden. Good atmosphere inside, with relaxing selection of background music that wasn't so loud as to be intrusive. Service was brilliant throughout, from the bright, friendly greeting on our arrival to the attentive staff looking after us during meal. Food allergy advised at time of booking was reiterated by the staff when taking our orders, which was reassuring. And, on the subject of the meal, the food was excellent - good portion sizes, very tasty and reasonably priced too. Everyone in our group was very happy with what they had. Would definitely recommend and, although we don't really get out much, we'll definitely be back.

This pub is a great place to hang out with friends and family. It's located in the idyllic Rugby. The pub also has an outdoor setting with string lights that are fitting especially at night. On the menu, there are multiple drinks to choose from. I tried a couple, but my favourite would be the Lemonade, then the apple cider (if you like apple juice). Food-wise, the fish cake was a killer! It tasted so good! The main meals were a tad under seasoned for me, but gravy and any other sauce of your choice would make it tastier. I also loved the sweet potato chips and the Irish cream bar dessert. A plus would be that you don't have to break the bank to have a good meal and time here! 😊

Lovely looking pub with good food and good service. Nothing not to like. Visited on Sunday and the roast was nice. Burger was fine, but have tasted better, but not complaining. Desserts went down a treat.

I thought I'd reserve a table this time through the Google map. It was a simple enough process and got an email confirmation. Also they had the options of ordering food and drinks via the app 'My Pub' which is a great idea and so convenient, not having to wait for a waiter/waitress. The staff are friendly and polite. The menu was not limited although they were out of Sunday Roast which being dinner/tea time I wasn't surprised. I had the Smokey Joe burger with sweet potato fries. My son had lasagne. Ordered extra sides - beer battered onion rings, triple cooked chips and cheesy garlic bread. Lasagne came with a salad and 2x garlic bread. I wish I had more choice with my burger in terms of add or replace certain food such as the American cheese which I'm not fond of at all. Although it is already the ultimate burger on the menu. The lasagne didn't have the typical multiple layers of pasta sheets. I think there was just two, top and bottom. The salad was nice with sundried tomatoes, peppers, onions, edamame and tomatoes, but no dressing. I had to ask and didn't get a choice but vinaigrette. I had to ask about the triple cooked chips and had to wait for it be cooked. Weren't impressed with it. With that title and a sign outside boasting of it I was expecting it to be extra crispy or something. Beer battered onion rings didn't taste or look like beer batter. But it tasted good, not great just good. I will try The George again as this was my first time and see if it was just a one off. Updating 2yrs on. I went to The George with my wife for a quick hr or so away from the kids and house. Ordered via the app some drinks and snacks of battered onion rings. This time the onion rings were perfect! Have tried at other pubs in the area and so far this is the best. The sunset cocktail was a big hit with my wife. Very quickly served and the lady was the same one all cheery and polite. Gets an added star!

This is a really nice all round pub. First thing we noticed was the decor. It's done up nicely with light colours everywhere so it feels airy and clean and spacious but it's still got a touch of cosiness to it. The menu had a good range of classic pub grub. I had chicken & chorizo skewers for starter and lasagne for mains and both were very good. Hot. Fresh. Flavoursome. If I had to be super picky, I'd say the lasagne could have been a bit more golden on top, and the salad dressing was too vinegary and sharp, but it was a lovely meal and I came away happily satisfied. Portions were big enough that I was full afterwards. There were a good selection of drinks and the beer I had was very nice. They came quickly and refills weren't over-offered. The staff were friendly and professional. They got our orders right, didn't disturb us unnecessarily, were amusing in their language (regarding coke: "Would like like ice and a slice?") Most of them looked the part (smart, well dressed, etc) apart from one lady who looked like she'd kinda just woken up and found herself at work. I'm not a dog lover, and this place allowed dogs in, so for me that's a downer but I know I'm I'm the minority there. Overall a good experience, I'd recommend.

Mexican burger was spot on and the chimichuri excellent! Hot wings fresh and crispy (I didn't get the hot sauce) Disappointed to learn that tipping with your card rarely makes it to the staff 😤

Fantastic place ! Especially if you enjoy watching sport as they have multiple large screens so you can keep across all the biggest events at the same time. The food and drink is excellent. The best thing is the customer service from the hard working staff who go the extra mile and nothing seems too much trouble. And they are dog friendly. Ticks all the boxes ! Friendly attentive polite staff, clean spacious venue- converted theatre new decor and bright, and Covid low risk in these times Dec 21, as staff are all wearing masks and the tables are comfortably spaced out. Reasonable food, fast service

I came in yesterday with my mum for an early birthday meal for her, it was her choice to come here, so I decided to treat her. We were impressed with the decor, and what an amazing bar display! We sat down and had a look through the menu, I decided to break my streak for Veganuary as it's mums birthday treat so I had the hunters chicken which was delicious, and mum had a steak with a diane sauce which she enjoyed. The price for the whole meal and 2 drinks wasn't too bad either. We both wondered what it was like to come on an evening as the atmosphere at lunchtime wasn't busy, so we may be coming here again soon for an evening meal. Overall, I was very impressed and would highly recommend coming to here for a meal.

Amazing friendly pub!! Popped in for drinks..and wow what a fantastic pub we stumbled upon, the staff were attentive, welcoming, fun and extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Good selection of beers and ales 🍺 and bar snacks! They even have the cutest pub cat she is adorable and equally friendly. A pet friendly pub where all are welcomed and catered for. Amazing atmosphere and plenty of live music dates and entertainment on offer throughout the months. They have a resident skittles team....I mean how cool is that?! Pool table available and a stunning garden area to sit in the sun whilst staying hydrated 😀 definitely recommend and will be visiting again very soon!!

Fairly busy when we popped in for a drink on a Weds evening. Quite nice garden& good atmosphere. Landlady, Sarah very friendly. Gorgeous, friendly cat in garden (if you are a cat lover!), fluffy tortioeshell, name of Lizzie.

Richard and Sarah have just taken over running The Newbold Crown, I spent a fantastic evening there, they had live music with singer Dimitri, it was a great atmosphere, lots of singing along and dancing, Dimitri was brilliant, fabulous voice, and all genre's of music, soul, Motown, popular. He is also booked for new year's eve, I can definitely recommend. Richard and Sarah were brilliant hosts, lovely warm personalities, very welcoming, and great service. They will be starting serving food very soon, I will be back, and highly recommend you visit. Thanks Richard and Sarah for a great time xxx

Lovely heart of the community pub with a lovely beer garden at the rear And seating to the front x Dog friendly so a great place to pop in for refreshments on a walk x Just been taken over by a lovely friendly couple who together with their friendly staff will extend a warm welcome to you 😊 sport is always on TV and they also have a darts team pool team and of course a skittles team so if you like your sports then this is the place to go The regular customers are very friendly and welcominging also .a good selection of beer wines and spirits and snacks are always available and hopefully a food menu in the future

Our first visit to the Newbold Crown and what a lovely welcome we had . Sarah and Richard are so friendly and helpful . A great selection of wine, gin and beers . The garden was beautiful and the locals were really friendly . Looking forward to coming again especially once they start serving food .

Started visiting recently, noticed some lovely changes in back bar area and garden, warmly welcomed and great drinks selection and drinks deals, a great place if love your sport’s loads of screens. Sadly no food on offer, when asked was advised this will be coming soon as under new management, highly recommend a visit.

Proper pub and probably the best in town centre. Good beer, sports on various screens, pool, darts, good service and craic. I'm from Rugby, but lived in London for over 35 years. Prices here are half what I pay in the smoke. The place hasn't really changed in all those years, retaining its charm and atmosphere. I'm old enough to remember the town being like the Wild West back in the day. It's much more chilled now.

Fabulous atmosphere, great patrons, amazing amount of screens for any sport you wanna watch! The staff aren't too bad either, 😂 😂. Definitely worth a pint or three during a visit! 🤗👍

£17 for 2 vodka and redbull. The glasses used were small, red bull was flat and warm and no ice. No respect for the drink or customers. No wonder the pub is usually empty.

Popped in for a spot of lunch with the wife. Lovely and warm and a lovely greeting from the landlord. Had burger and chips and the wife a ham and cheese toastie. Burger was gorgeous. The wife's toastie had crisps and salad and was fantastic.. very reasonable prices,and a great meal. Highly recommend, and can't wait till we pass again

Great outdoor play area for children. Also has the double decker bus available for parties. Drinks reasonable, staff could be a bit more social 🤔 Large outdoor TV under cover for sport lovers. Would go back.

Underrated house. You always feel welcomed on arrival, good selection of drinks and helpful and friendly staff. Large garden with children's play area and a double decker bus (because why not). Pool table and Jukebox. Last of a dying breed of old fashioned boozers. Would recommend again and again.

Fantastic. Went to see a band called Rocking Horse who were awesome. There's a great atmosphere at the Red Lion,the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend 👌

Very good visit. The barmaid remembered what I had to drink when I went back to the bar, asked my name and remembered that later on. When I left she asked if I had enjoyed the visit. That's what I call a warm welcome!

Really nice place with good food. Lovely staff. Ordered rib eye steak (medium rare) was okay but was really cold inside, was expecting to be in room temperature and not salted enough (like not salted at all) but meat quality was really good.

It was a very nice birthday meal treat but for 2 courses and a bottle of wine was roughly £120 for 2 people. That being said it was lovely food and my partner enjoyed his birthday meal there. It's a nice experience overall.

Small but cozy steak restaurant. Service was brilliant and all the range of steaks you could ask for, plus a variety of non steak food. Cooking the steak on a hot stone is a unique and fun eating experience. I ordered the Flat Iron steak which is a new special on Wednesdays. It was absolutely delicious and cooking it myself allowed me to try it blue, rare and medium rare, all tasted great and for the price I would highly recommend this cut. Super smooth with literally no chewing required… this is a first that I’ve actually had a steak quite literally melt in my mouth. Thank you, I will be back 😃

I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend for his birthday. Normally I'm not really a meat eater and especially no steak but I booked it for my boyfriends birthday because he loves steak. But after that visit, I couldn't stop thinking about the food there because it was so good and I also enjoyed the Fillet Steak that I had so much! It was such a nice experience cooking your own meat on the lava stone and it was so much fun to do so. I can't wait to come back to eat there again. Service was amazing, very welcoming and helpful. They explained how everything works and gave us suggestions on how to handle the lava stone. A little nice extra that they offer is if you book a table on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after 6PM, you're able to book it with 15% off all your Mains which is a nice plus. But either way, the food is definitely worth the money. When you enter the building you get into a kind of Pub/Bar only for drinks and you have to go upstairs to get to the restaurant, so don't be irritated at first. I can definitely recommend this place to all the steak lovers or for people who like to give it a try, as you see, even if I don't really like to eat steak I ended up loving it.

Really good food, probably the best I’ve had in rugby! The area is a little small and the windows could do with being opened as it gets quite smoky from the stone cooking.

First time having to grill my own steaks 🥩 It was a refreshing experience. The sauce was perfect I like the rusty feel of the environment. The started was great too Sadly the dessert 🍨 was a no no! Overall, I would visit again and I recommend.

The food here is super delicious. Every dish is crafted to perfection and it's a great value for money too. Prashant is a great chef with amazing talent, the staff is welcoming and the service is excellent. Breakfast buffet is so good that words are not enough to describe the quality and taste of the food. I loved masala upma so much that I've never tasted anything like that before! It's amazing and I would eat that every day :) I definitely recommend this restaurant for everyone!

The food was absolutely delicious—rich in flavour and clearly made with care.😍😍 Although the service took a bit longer than expected, it was due to an issue that was being resolved at the time, and we appreciated the transparency. The owner was exceptionally helpful, taking the time to guide us through the menu and make recommendations based on our preferences, which made a real difference. One point of feedback: the white rice didn’t seem very fresh and was quite hard. Also, while the food was full of flavour, the spice level was a bit high for my taste. Phoned through a takeaway order to be delivered. It was over £50! Expensive we thought for just 3 people. We called back to cancel some items. Chicken tikka masala £4 dearer than our usual takeaway. We were told 40 mins for delivery. Reality was an hour and fifteen minutes. Chicken tikka masala was far too spicy for how a masala should be and the mushroom rice was very oily. Expensive and over rated. First and definitely the last time we will use the Curry Club. 👎

Had takeaway Indian from here and am not returning again. We used to love the food from here before it changed hands but it seems the quality of food has left with the previous owners. The food was not nice at all aside from the tikka masala. The garlic naan seemed to just be bread with big lumps of garlic on top.

Staying at the Travelodge down the road. Found the perfect curry house, food was outstanding and fresh, service was brilliant. Hopefully I come back with work so I can hit up the Curry club again.

Billed as the Rugby pub. This place is charming and had a huge selection of cask beers when we visited. I asked if this was normal or a festival. The barman explained that it was indeed the normal amount. Wow. The decoration on the ceiling should have tipped me off with hundreds of pump clips from breweries all over attached. The vibe was excellent, the rugby was indeed on, but the clientele was a mix of rugby fans and locals. Plenty of seating. Quick friendly service and very near the town centre. With the variety of cask on offer it's a no brainer

The Merchant Inn, Rugby is an interesting pub, extensive and well laid out with plenty of tables and seating. Has a nice outdoor seating area. It's all about the beer, with a great range of guest ales, cider and niche foreign brews. Have regular special events, like a cider festival in late August.

Great place where to meet with friends or organise a venue in their private event room. I went a couple of times to birthday parties and the like. Small parking but you have free parking ok the street a couple of blocks away. Good selection of drinks.

Lovely traditional pub in Rugby. Not far from station. Full of people show how busy they r and how people like to come there. Have many rooms and Amazing atmosphere in every room. Very nice vibes. They r really good in cask & ales but miss keg as i like that much. Nice staff n service is quick. Been there for quick stop drink from London n they didn’t disappoint me. Big space is good for big groups and parties even there was already booked a birthday party in one of there room.

Carly was really great when i came here for cyder Fest. she was so lovely and also seemed like she cared about the customers and by extension making sure they (aka me) got the drink they were looking for when trying new things. really a shout out to her and the service she offered to both me and my uncle on the Saturday night of Cyder fest.

If you love beer, go here. Best place for beer in Rugby and surrounding areas. My brewer-husband described the beer as ‘exceptional’ and ‘well kept’. The wine selection was a disappointing - I had a very acidic French chardonnay, and they don’t do coca-cola behind the bar, just a very herbal Fevertree Cola. The place is impressively decorated inside with beer memorabilia, and they play sports on a large projector screen.

Worst Indian we have ever had. Chicken dishes was served with bones - we have never had this and was so oily but tasteless. We were a large group and they did accommodate us but food was awful and took well over an hour to come. Wish we had gone elsewhere as they overcharged us even though we added up the bill from the menu given.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food was just about passable (3 stars at best), but everything else was awful. The service was painfully slow, the staff seemed uninterested, and the whole place felt run down and unclean. The atmosphere was dead and uncomfortable, and I honestly couldn’t wait to leave. Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend Titash Rugby to anyone

Celebrated with a few friends tonight and the food was really good, the service was efficient rather that friendly but what is going to stop me coming back compared to other Indian restaurants in town is that we were told to leave (our table is required) in 10 mins even though there was only 4 other people in the restaurant!! Such a shame, as this could be the go to Indian in town 😕

My husband and I booked for Sunday lunch at 3pm. We were quickly taken to our table. The menu was small which I like as it usually means the food is all freshly cooked. We both went for the roast beef with all the trimmings. The food was served with the beef, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding plated. All the vegetables were served in separate bowls and they were all cooked really well. An extra jug of gravy was much appreciated as it was so tasty, no bisto and water, it was proper gravy. All the food was piping hot. I can honestly say this was the best Sunday lunch I have ever eaten in a pub or restaurant and we have tried lots of places. My husband even went as far as to say it was as good as my home cooked Sunday lunch. Congratulations to the chef on making a really excellent Sunday lunch. We will definitely be back.

After hearing great things I visited solo with the dog, it was quite busy so sat outside, and I was told there would be a wait for food. Not a problem I ordered the mix grill rare and 1 hour later it arrived. Unfortunately the steak was WELL well done (small cut as in a mix grill but still way to done for me) along with every other piece of meat was incredibly over cooked and tough except the sausages, was also missing a fried egg, no one came to give cutlery or to enquire if everything was good. Sadly I cannot justify re visiting anytime soon.

This was an unknown chance recommendation to meet for a reunion with Australian family. Great location close for motorway travel. A lovely, well priced Sunday lunch. Good beer selection. The new Chef's have taken the food to another level. What was once to big to salty is now amazing. Fish cooked to perfection Roast beef pink and melts in your mouth. If you go anywhere for Sunday lunch make it The Bull. Staff friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Shame we didn't have room for dessert. Maybe next time. Thanks to the staff for everything.

Sunday lunch today with new chefs was super. I had the beef which was perfectly pink and tender. My other half had soft tasty pork with stuffing and crackling. Generous serving of meat and nice selection of fresh vegetables with plenty of gravy. Thoroughly enjoyed and will return. Oh and the sticky toffee pud was to die for.

First time at The Bill having arrived on a canal boat a short walk away. We were greeted on arrival and made to feel so welcome. The menu was explained to us and we quickly ordered. Went to Maharajah Tandoori for lunch and had such a great experience! We ordered the Chhole Bhature, Aloo Tikki, a few street food snacks, and a Sweet Lassi—everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully made. It honestly reminded me of proper Indian street food, but in a clean, elegant setting. The staff were really friendly and made sure everything was just right, without rushing us even though it was lunchtime. You can tell they take real pride in what they do. This is hands down the best Indian fine dining spot in Rugby—can’t wait to go back!

Really enjoyed my visit to Maharajah Restaurant in Rugby. The food was tasty and full of flavour — you can tell it’s made with love. But what made it extra special was the warm hospitality of Mr. Mani, the owner of the place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the way they serve the food with love is awesome. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the people leave such a great impression. Will definitely be coming back!

This is a brilliant Thai restaurant in Rugby, and the service and food are excellent. The manager/owner is the friendliest guy and every time we’ve been, he’s the one taking the bookings and food orders, bringing out the food and clearing away. He is lovely and very accommodating, and it is always a pleasure to see him. The food is also delicious and extremely good value. The set-menus are great and even better value than a la carte , and you get a great range of dishes. Previously we have ordered the ‘Prince & Princess’ set menu for the 2 of us, which is a lot of food! This time we just ordered off the menu. The prawns in the Black Pepper Prawn dish were very large, shelled, and it was a very good amount of prawns. The glass noodles are one of our favourite dishes and come with fried egg and vegetables. The ginger pork was very fresh, and you can’t go wrong with anything on the starter menu. The curries are also very flavourful and fragrant with a good kick to them. 2 starters, 3 mains, 1 side, 2 beers, and glass of wine came to £70. The only downside for me is that there are only two wines by the glass - either a Sauvignon blanc or a Merlot. The restaurant is cash only, or payment by bank transfer.

I used to visit regularly over a 10 year period whilst living in Rugby. I now live elsewhere and haven't been for 10 years. However it was the finest Thai restaurant I ever visited, and if under the same management I would throughly recommend it.

The best Thai restaurant I've ever been to. We came 02/11/2022. Let's start with the food. The food was spectacular. It had so much flavour, texture, colour. It was fantastic. Just the right blend of spice and flavour. We shared the "bags of gold" as a starter, then went halves on "chicken Massamay" and "chicken nut" with the cashews, both with rice, and they were perfect. We came here on a rainy Wednesday night and it was very quiet, but the owner was so friendly and ready to serve us. He recommended food to us and talked to us about each dish. He clearly cared deeply and was so authentic. The restaurant is nicely decorated, the chairs were comfy, everywhere was clean, I was very impressed. Genuinely if you live in Rugby you should absolutely come and try this restaurant. We'll be coming here again 100%. Edit. Came back here 02/01/2023 and it was just as ace. This time we started with sharing the "chicken Wings" and then went halves on "duck curry" and "sweet and sour pork". This time we had some glass noodles along with the rice. Honestly I don't know how one place can get so many dishes spot on. The duck was so tender. The flavours so balanced. Go here and try it! Edit: Came back 08/04/2023 - still as excellent as always. Had the same dishes as the first time - chicken wings, bags of gold, chicken massamay and chicken nut - exquisite. If you've not tried this Thai, you absolutely should.

Very welcoming, happy and friendly. The meals were 100% the best Thai food I have had and I have worked in two Thai restaurants. Good portions and well balanced flavours and spices. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO AGAIN!

Walked into this place and the looks people gave us was not pleasant. No one greeted us. No menus on the table, couldn't tell if the place did food or not, which was what we were after. While we sat down I promptly found somewhere else to go and was a much better greeting.

The poison sizes where the same but on different sizes plates . The roast potatoes could of been cooked a bit longer The gravy could of been a lot thicker . The cauliflower cheese could of been a bit better (we came at the beginning of the year and got that saved in separate pot on the table so we could help ourselves).

Sunday lunch on our wedding anniversary. Nice lady serving at the bar made us feel welcome. The food was hot, well cooked, tasty and a good plateful. The lady that served it was so lovely and had a cool accent.

The mains were great. But the sweet was not so good and took well over 40 mins, and honestly not worth the wait or the money.

Came looking like a bit come out of it, half the wrap missing!!! Absolute diabolical! When picking up another customer came back with their scrap of food too saying it wasn’t good enough. Clearly didn’t care enough that night. Overpriced and you get scraps for it

Nando’s in Rugby is always a great experience. The food is consistently good, and on the rare occasion something isn’t quite right, the staff are quick to sort it out with no fuss. The general manager is especially helpful and clearly takes pride in making sure everything runs smoothly. Great food, great service, every time!

This was one of the worst Nando’s experiences we’ve had. • Unhelpful staff – We asked for our chicken to be cut into 8 pieces because we have kids, but staff flat out said they “can’t.” For a family restaurant, this is ridiculous. • Terrible food quality – The loaded chips were soggy like mashed potatoes, with barely any chicken on top. Nothing like what’s advertised. • Basic requests ignored – We asked for the chips to be cooked well (crispy), and were told they “can’t.” How is it hard to make fries crispy? Overall, the service was dismissive, the food was poorly prepared, and the attitude was “we can’t” instead of trying to help. Families expect better. Nando’s needs to lift its standards — both in food quality and in customer service.

It was my first time at Nando's. I ordered the chicken burger with fries and coleslaw. The food was delicious and it was an overall pleasant experience.

Decent nandos if you are traveling to Triumph factory tour. Nice and close by, lots of parking but was surprisingly busy. Had to go and collect my own coleslaw but was decent food.

Everything was perfectly cooked. We ordered for collection, it was quick and easy. The food tasted great and the chicken wasn’t dry at all. By the time we arrived home, the food was still incredibly hot.

We love this restaurant, the atmosphere and service is always amazing. Most rent visit the food my wife had was amazing , I had a couple of issues with mine , some.of the squid was over cooked and chewy which I.appreciate is.easily done. The baby chicken special was nice , potatoes had a lovely garlic flavour, some of the potatoes were not fully cooked , but not to a point you couldn't eat them.The sauce was tasty with the chicken . My wifes had two specials and had zero issues with hers .the deserts were amazing . Overall I will always go back.to this restaurant, it is our go to . Just slight for me not up to its usual standard, still good.

Our second visit to La Dolce Tavola - this time for our 31st wedding anniversary dinner. Once again the food was just soooo delicious! SUPLI & CARPACCIO DI MANZO RUCOLA E GRANA for starters. Both sublime. The beef just melted in the mouth. LINGUINE ALLA NAPOLETANA & PANINO POLPETTA for mains. Pasta cooked to perfection and great accompaniments for the Panino. BISCOFF CHEESECAKE & PANNA COTTA WITH FRUIT COMPOTE for desserts. Again, both absolutely sublime. The food was great, the wine was great, the atmosphere was great and the service was impeccable. If we didn't live over half an hour away we'd certainly go more often! Marvellous ❤️

I’ll start off by saying this place is quite expensive (I guess that is Rugby prices for you) and it is hard to find a table last minute so you have to plan well in advance... But, it is well worth going to. They have vegan/vegetarian options and are happy to adapt whatever dish to suit your needs. This is quite a rare find, as many places are less accessible. These aren’t token dishes to satisfy a smaller portion of the market. But really fantastic dishes that come from good Italian cooking that doesn’t need dairy or meat. For eg melanzana parmigiana but you substitute the cheese for vegan or even leave it off with pasta. Delicious. Not only do they cater to different dietary requirements, but the food was lovely. Everyone enjoyed their meal and would happily go again. The ambience is nice, it has a real ‘here is a collection of Italian items’ vibe to it which anyone who has been to Italy or knows an Italian family, will tell you about all of these patriotic things used as decoration. It gives a ‘we’re sat in Nonnas kitchen’ without you actually being there, and the quirky photos of people eating pasta are only made better when you taste how good their pasta is. There is a charm to this place and it fully backs that up with how great the food is. The only thing I’d ask of them, is to put at least one vegan dessert on the menu - not a sorbet or something as a cop out. But something yummy to finish off the evening. I know, from spending a lot of time in Italy, that 9 out of 10 restaurants won’t have a vegan/dairy free dessert for me. But this would just take the place to the next level. Even without dessert, I’d go again in a heartbeat.

The food was so delicious, I can't stop thinking about it and such large portions! The desserts were to die for! We enjoyed the real Italian ambience and the staff were very efficient and friendly. It was nice and quiet experience with my family. Staff was very kind and helpful. Since owners changed seems standard of food and quality got even better. Food was tasty more than i expected. And portions was generous especially kids one. I would highly recommend this place. Especially when they have special price offers. As you can see we had roast dinner and it was wonderful.

Went in for a meal to celebrate and was warmly greeted by the lady behind the bar. Her service was amazing, very friendly and welcoming. I had the BBQ ribs and my boyfriend had the beef burger. The ribs were so tender and flavorful and the burger was described as " the best he's had in rugby so far". I highly recommend for the atmosphere and the quality of the food. For the price you really can't argue. Can't recommend enough

We had our Sunday Roast and the food quality was alright. But they messed up our order. We ordered chicken sunday roast and they gave us beef sunday roast after half hour wait. They did offer to replace it by taking another long wait time, so we just had the beef instead as we didn’t want to wait and our friend had to catch the train. They did not offer us any discount for their mishap neither any complementary drinks or dessert! This was fairly disappointing!

Went last night with my family. Greeted by friendly hostess. Started off with a bottle of wine, a really nice Pinot Grigio was served in good time. Menu looked very good, interesting mix of Indian and traditional pub food. I had the lamb Rogan Josh, probably the best I've had in quite some time, meat fell off the bone, whilst the RJ was hot the flavours punched through, the balance was fantastic. The rice and naan bread - beautifully cooked. My stepson had a burger which looked amazing, my wife had two starters bought out as mains, again well presented and cooked. Full of flavour and quality ingredients. Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. There was a wait for the food, however it was absolutely worth it overall. Would definitely visit again - it was very quiet last night, but good to hear they are busier over the weekends. Well worth a visit and I would happily entertain going back. Prices for drinks are on par for the town and restaurants, food is of a really good quality and reflects well in their prices.

I’m really fussy and have tried loads of roasts but the Court House is honestly one of the best I’ve had, the food is always great there so we gave the roast a go and WOW it was amazing, the staff were so lovely and really accommodating with all my picky requests, we got two drinks, extra sausages and cauliflower cheese all for £30 which is such good value, 10/10 will definitely be back❤️‍🔥👍🏻

We recently celebrated our son’s baptism reception at The Courthouse, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was outstanding, and the whole atmosphere made the day so special for our family. Everything ran smoothly, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Truly grateful, and would highly recommend The Courthouse for any special occasion!

Love the flavours curated by Iqbal who has been serving Rugby for past 2 decades, amazing service by Abdul. Do ask for their garlic pickle and their homemade naga chilli pickle if one can handle heat.

So pleased to see this restaurant back, the food is amazing! Some of the best curries I've had anywhere. With a lot of restaurants you can tell that all the crries are just the same base sauce, but not here. Every curry is different. Family and friends always want an Exotica when they come to stay, so don't just take my word for it. Few teething troubles with the ordering, but they're just starting back up following their move so give them a chance.

After 12 years out of the country we decided to visit our old favourite. So glad to see nothing much had changed. Abdul (front of house) and Ikbal (working his magic in the kitchen) brilliant brothers still doing their thing and producing amazing food and excellent service. Don't be put off if you have a bit of a wait, it's well worth it, the food is excellent as too is the service. One very happy returning customer.

Go only for Dosa. We went around 4:30pm on 6th June 2025. It was empty mostly I guess people do takeaway.Quite late for lunch but then we were out the whole day and was looking for a good place to eat.We ordered Masala Dosa, chicken biriyani, chicken tikka. The dosa was good. Chicken biriyani though tasty lack chicken pieces. The tikka was awful. It was dry and such big chunks of chicken.

Update: Chef is back and food is back to the taste it was. Recently the taste of the food has gone very bad. Not sure if the chef's changed. The sambar and chutney they give for dosa and idly was the worst of all despite the shop name being dosa village. I am a native of tamilnadu and I would never visit again for dosa. Couldn't give 0 stars as this was my favourite restaurant earlier. Wouldn't recommend to anyone anymore. Hate to see a good restaurant going downhill. Hope they fix it.

Southern Indian Cuisine Too authentic, brought back all Goan experiences and memories. The prawn curry and cauliflower were amazing . The accompianments to the Dosa's were poor.

Delicious food, very friendly owner, absolute bargain for the food. big portions with lots of flavour. after visiting sri lanka last year, this is a real true sample of genuine sri lankan and south indian food. We had the Medhu Vadai, sri lankan curry, chicken masala dosa (huge), dal tadka, rice and mango lassi all for £28. we were very full. highly recommend and will definately be returning. there is a pay display car park just behind the restaurant.

Food is good, staff are welcoming. The ambience is nice. Best place in Rugby to get some spicy South Indian dishes like Dosa, Idli, Vada, kuththu parota and also North Indian dishes like Naan, Parotta. It has good options for vegetarians and non vegetarians. Limited beverages available like Beer, Vodka, wine, fruit juice and cool drinks.

I went 2/3 times here but can’t see any changes in service which is very slow, drinks pathetic, Have to wait long for food. To cold inside. Ordered food and wait for half n hour and after told by one of dish is run out.

Came here not long ago for a spaghetti bolognese. Wasn’t going to leave a review as the people seemed friendly enough but I’m gobsmacked at what was served to me. Looked like dog food served on a plate it made me feel so sick I struggled to take a bite. Tasted aweful and looked aweful. Requested more paramsan to try mask the taste but the look and smell made me feel so sick I managed a few bites . I chose to pay whilst ordering, Didn’t even bother asking for a refund or a change of meal I just got up and left . Putting this on here as I don’t think it’s acceptable to be serving this kind of food to people . They didn’t even bother to ask what was wrong when I abruptly left after a few minutes of receiving my food.

This is a lovely little cafe,me and my sis have been here twice now,the food was bang on,very good and they didnt mind that we were a bit fussy with additions and subs on the breakfasts,everything came as ordered and was perfect,which is great because i have been to the cafe roj opposite twice and ordered the same thing and they messed the order up both times. 100% would reccomend

We popped in for lunch and ordered a burger and fries,it was superb, lovely moist burger with salad and generous portion of fries. Service was excellent and order arrived promptly. Overall very good, could not find fault with anything

Coffee was really good and nice cosy atmosphere. However, the food is average, it seems that it is being done by a cooking enthusiat rather than a Chef. The staff were on point, appears to be a family run business. There are better options around there for a similar price so I will not return for food.

Sunday afternoon search for coffee and gluten free cake and WOW not disappointed. Great selection of cakes, with at least one gluten free option. I went for the gluten free lemon cake and it was super moist, delicious lemon curd and buttercream between the three layers. My Mum went for coffee cake and enjoyed it thoroughly. Decaf coffee was top notch. My Mum was exceedingly happy with the hot chocolate too. We will be coming back and totally recommend. Great service

Stunning Antipasto & baguette, staff are relinquishingly benevolent & pleasant, also rather rapid. The price is acceptable for the quality and the selection is very wide, seating is fairly mediocre but there are not usually too many people seated. The iced latte however is severely mediocre, could do better.

It was a lovely place to visit, not that busy when we visited, but the place is wonderfully decorated and great service from staff. The temperature of the dishes served was a little cooler in temperature than I would have liked, and staff noted this. Will go again.

Wow, I'm so disappointed about our first visit here. Coca-Cola was flat. When the chap to the order for the drinks, I noticed him look at the half folded menu, show the part that says 20% off. Food came out, and it was nice, but th chicken cubes I got were more like a starter portion, not a main. I did not complain as a friend was paying for my birthday and I had seen the discount from a distance and thought it's OK. But when my friend came to pay the gentleman said sorry that's not valid anymore. We asked why they were still on display for customers to pick up and just got rude. We are not doing it. If that's the case, put a label over it or get new menus. What surprised me the most was the total out right no, I am amazed he did not come back with 10% off or something for goodwill. Ho, well, back to titash we go, teach us to try somewhere new.

I have to say after living down south for 23years this is the best chippy I've ever had down here! The fish tastes amazing, never greasy. Chips always perfectly cooked. If you're in rugby this is the chippy to eat in- even if you have to drive a bit further it's worth it!! 😍

Nice traditional fish and chip takeaway and service with a smile. It's not often you find traditional fish and chips of this sort in Rugby. The batter on the fish was lovely. The kids really enjoyed their meal. Unfortunately they kept running in and out the shop setting off the door sensor, but the staff/ owners didn't mind :)

I ordered Fish&Chips, Chicken & mushroom pie and curry sauce for the first time. I simply loved it. Everything was fresh and tasty. Met the legendary Mr Chips for the first time who was very friendly. The service was really good. The food was packed really well which kept the freshness. This was my first time to have fish packed in a traditional Fish&Chips box :) . Thank you all for a lovely experience.

Bought small fish and chips, and a small fish. Got home and was looking forward to eating my fish and chips. Wow! How disgusting! The fish was small indeed......bulked up with overfried batter. The chips! Probably left over from previous session......small overfried pieces. Both my fish and chips, and my partner's fish went straight into the bin. It's extremely difficult to comprehend how the premises gets away by selling disgusting fish and chips. I was extremely disappointed! I called Mr Chips. Unfortunately, that was a waste of time! All I got was the same message about the opening times. No option to speak with anyone! No wonder....they would be inundated with calls of complaints. STAY AWAY. Made myself some toast. How delicious compared to the disgusting food from Mr Chips, Rugby I was forced to give the premises one star, otherwise I would be unable to post a review of my experience

Staff and food nice. Would recommend for a bite to eat at lunch for sure. Greeted at the door and very quickly served by the staff, no waiting around which is always a bonus. Menu has LOTS on offer. I had the Pollo Picante panini which was nice but a bit too saucy for my liking (that’s just me being fussy though, partner also had it and loved it!). Friends we were with had the mega breakfast, now would highly recommended that! Bowl of chips easily serves two.

Absolutely amazing food. We were the only people dining on a Friday night that I found so sad. People of Rugby don’t obviously realise how amazing this place is for dinner. I highly recommend and will be back for sure.

I had a solo breakfast this morning, i was made to feel comfortable, the food was nice, beautifully presented, coffee was really nice and hot!! (So often coffee is served and ice cold after 2 minutes) In the time I was there i met 3 staff members and all 3 very warm and friendly. I will come again, thank you

Spent over £90 on an Uber Eats order and was really disappointed. The fajitas were completely bland with no seasoning, and both the chicken and beef tacos had a strange taste, as if they’d been defrosted and microwaved, then smothered with way too much cheese. The only thing that was actually decent were the loaded curly fries. Sadly, about 80% of the food went straight in the bin. Definitely not worth the money – you’d be better off making it yourself. I won’t be ordering from here again, especially not for the so-called “Mexican” dishes

My first time here and the service was great, the atmosphere was welcoming and the food was amazing. I had Mexican fried rice and I had no regrets. Would definitely visit again.

Visited Sunday for a brunch/ lunch. Seated quickly and order taken swiftly. Food took over 30mins to arrive - so a long time and no warning of this when we ordered. Husbands enjoyed his cooked breakfast. However my mixed grill was too dry and chewy, the salad wasn’t dressed and the bread wasn’t enjoyable - avoid these dishes. I will be waiting a while to re-visit as the cost doesn’t justify the quality of food

Just moved to the area and my delightful neighbour suggested this was a great shop. Grabbed a haddock, small chips and curry sauce. She’s dead right! Definitely 5 star rating, everything was piping hot, nothing was greasy, the chips were lovely the best I've tasted, although the peas were quite green they tasted lovely, the kebab was scrumptious and such lovely friendly staff, so helpful, they have a gluten free menu on Tuesday and Thursday, I'd definitely go again when I'm in the area

I remember when it was hard to get into the Webb Ellis for Sunday lunch. The pub was always busy and full of life. Not today. The place was virtually empty at 1pm. No- one was behind the bar and we had to wait a couple of minutes for a member of staff to come out of the kitchen. This happened on subsequent visits to the bar as well. When we were served, they had no ice and not all the desserts were available. This is what turned up as a kid's Sunday roast. Eventually, after arguing the point that it said sausage(s) plural on the menu, a second veggie sausage was brought out. The gravy came in tiny jugs and when we asked for more gravy were told we would have to pay more for extra gravy. The quality of everything on our plates was poor. Very sad when you think of the plentiful, well-cooked, value for money meals you used to get at the Webb, and the atmosphere there.

I was looking forward to eating here as not been here for a while. But unfortunately was very disappointed the Philly steak baguette had too much cheese sauce on it and made it soggy and there was no onion as stated on the spec and there was only 10 chips. Not value for money

We'd always walked past but never come in. This is a nice pub. Very cosy inside. The food was very good, the steak and ale pie is what I had. And I would give it 10/10. What more could you want from a pub? Definitely recommend! Thank you!

The burger was good, the fries were okay (I prefer five guys Cajun fries if I’m honest). It was all cooked nicely, and I liked having the vegan options including bun. The service was really good, they accidentally messed up our order but were quick at resolving it and attentive. I wish they did their own tomato relish instead of ketchup, but that is a minor thing. Also, they had milkshakes but no vegan ones - I wish they had, this would absolutely set them apart from most burger places (I’m yet to find a burger place with a vegan shake).

The absolute best place for food the burgers are priced on the higher side but absolutely worth it without any shadow of a doubt the staff are absolutely amazing and helpful and make the whole experience even better, but the food is a god send , the BEST burger I’ve ever had.. I make the 30 min journey at least once a month to try the specials which are always good the milkshakes are insanely good. But my favourite is the #022 chicken burger absolutely sensational. We’ve even bought the D.I.Y home burger kit which was a great valentines treat :) all in all my favourite place to go for food every visit is incredible!

Just had a delivery Very disappointed my burger was not cooked After sending photos of my burger I received a phone call back to say the burger was pinker than they would like to send out. Was offered another burger which I declined as the rest of my family had finished their meal and I’d need to wait another 30-40mins. Was offered a refund. Will not order from here again.

Food is always incredible and service always friendly! Been coming back for years, the new breakfast menu as well is just as incredible as the main menu!!

Needed something to eat and my hotel had no catering, plumped for this as it was nearby. Absolutely fantastic food. And you can grab a frosty beverage as well. A burger and dirty fries filled the hungry void in a delicious seed topped brioche bun. If I ever end up in rugby again I will be back. Grateful for the friendly service too. Compliments to the catering team as well.

Stopped into Libertine Burger for a bite to eat with a couple of friends. That marked my fourth visit over the past 2 years or so. The food is fairly priced and has always tasted great (especially the burger with Stilton cheese in it). The menu is quite extensive and the range of drinks on offer is great too (I'm a fan of their in-house lager and thick milkshakes!) The staff are friendly and attentive even when it's busy, checkbacks are done in a timely way also. The toilet facilities are clean and tidy too.

Gem of a place! Banging burgers, better than any burger I've had in the UK so far. Quality and taste of products is great, and the buns used are superb! Value for money. Recommend a visit to eat here.

Ordered for the first time being that they do “gluten free” on a Wednesday. Everything ordered was cold upon collection - apart from the gluten free fish. I have to say the gluten free fish was lovely & piping hot but chips (both gluten free & normal for my husband) were cold & not enjoyable, hardly cooked if anything. All other items were also cold. Don’t do reviews much but as finding gluten free takeaways is difficult & that this is raved about being “one of the best chippy in rugby” feel I must. Will not be hurrying back. Sorry.

4 of us drove all the way from leamington spa to have the home made Donner. I had a large fish in the shop. Probably the best fish ive ever eaten. The batter was perfection. Allso had a steak &kidney pie wich was full of meat. The Donner kebabs were the best we have ever eaten,thats why we drive all the way from leamington to rugby. You will not be disappointed guaranteed.

Food well for 3 days been taking chicken kebabs and it's really good not so spicy but with the combination of sauces it's just really good. Service I can't say a bad word pretty quick, and no one had any problems with me taking a kebab in a wrap with chips instead of salad so really good service. Atmosphere well it's like a typical chip shop but as I said earlier service makes it really good.

Food is always spot on whatever you go for. Kebab is a personal favourite as it is the best in the area. Service is always prompt even at peak times and the team are always welcoming.

Their lamb kebabs are delicious and portions of chips are generous.

The friendly staff and the community atmosphere makes this chip shop the best around in my opinion! Has been a frequent go to for all of my family for the last 8 years now. Reasonable prices, vegetarian options, kebabs, traditional fish and chips, and a gluten free wednesday.

Uncooked Cod - I bought a large cod and chips today and took it back to work. I noticed the cod on the thicker side wasn't cooked through properly. The texture of it was somewhat slimey and the batter seemed to still be runny. I have attached some photos. As there is no way to email the shop I have had to post on here in the hope that they see this review.

Let me just start by saying I'm a hgv driver and it's my Friday treat where ever I'm parked to get a local takeaway..... now I fancied fish chips as you do read the reviews and I selected here. The fish arrived by itself in a box lovely crispy batter (no soggy chips near it) the chips arrived in a separate bag I was surprised how big portion you get the curry sauce is banging I've had fish & chips all over the uk and I'd quite happily put this in my top 10 🔥 lovely food delivered ❤️

I only went to this place because my local chip shop was closed on bank Holiday. Never again. The food was not fresh or hot. The chips tasted like they were from earlier in the day, plus the oil needs changing. The chicken cabab tasted dry with no flavor.

Ordered a chippy tea for the first time from Fishsmiths for my daughter and I and we were very pleased with the outcome. The best donner kebab that we’ve had since moving to the midlands 7 years ago. SFC was flavourful and not dry. Salad was fresh. Chips (which were on offer) were proper tasty chippy chips. Thank you to the workers.

Final night on the canal network and a fellow boater told us about this fish shop and co op! Co op was irrelevant but the fish shop was amazing! The food was to die for, i had a mediterranean chicken kebab meal! Staff and service were fantastic and came quickly as well! Highly recommend!

Placed an order for delivery, was told it would be with us in 20-25 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later I’ve called up asking what’s going on to be told they’re only just putting the order together and it’s the drivers fault and not there’s so I will have to wait. Also told not to leave a review as again its the drivers fault and not there’s then she hung up. Rude and unprofessional

We hosted a baby shower at The Hideout, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with our choice to have Sue cater the afternoon tea. The venue offers a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests loved everything, and Sue’s warmth and attention to detail made sure everyone was well taken care of. We highly recommend her!

This is one of the best Chinese takeaway aways I have had so far, having recently explored some of the local chinese takeaways. They're very reasonably priced. I enjoyed the taste and the chicken curry. The chopped onion had a nice bite. Made to perfection. Thank you. This was my first experience eating from here and I it's one I will be returning to.

The food is very nice but .... Last time I had ordered beef chow mein, I think that wasn't beef at all. No taste and no colour like a beef meat. Normally shouldn't be a problem, but I am don't eat pork,that's why I am 99% sure that wasn't beef . After all ,I like it .

The Windmill Inn is a place to drink ale, larger or cider. I visit with a few local friends on a Friday afternoon. There is always a large selection of beers at reasonable prices. We always have a cob/roll made fresh on the premises, the fillings have are very generous and again are good value. Got to be one of the top five pubs in Rugby IMO.

Great selection of beers and tasty cobs. I had a cherry beer that was gorgeous. Not a wheat beer or a dark beer like a mild or stout as cherry beers usually are. This was light in colour like an IPA day. It was the kind of thing you wished you hadn't tasted because you know you'll never get anything like it again. The pub building is really pretty too

My sister lives close so we often use the Black Horse when I visit. Customer satisfaction has always been top priority for Lisa and the staff. The pub is very clean, service is fast and the food is fresh and tasty Since taking over a few years ago Lisa has been nothing but sincere in her approach to delivering a beautifully clean pub for the local community to enjoy. We come here because everyone is friendly and we’ve never had a bad meal. I don’t frequent dirty pubs and as for Mr Khan who left a 1 star review about the pub being dirty and a mouse, he has only 4 reviews in total and all 1 star 🤔 This is very suspicious and disingenuous behaviour probably from a rival local food business owner. Me and my family will continue to enjoy this beautiful pub - especially the beer garden in this hot weather..🥵🥵 FYi : you need to put your registration in at the till when using the pub car park Any genuine customer who is ticketed while using the facilities need to speak to Lisa and she can approach parking eye to maybe cancel the ticket.

I’m extremely disappointed with how this pub handles its private parking. I’ve been an occasional customer here, but after a recent experience, I won’t be returning — and neither will my family. During a personal urgency, I had to visit the pharmacy next door. The pharmacy’s spaces were full, so I parked briefly (about 15 minutes) in the pub’s car park — a place I’ve supported as a paying customer in the past. I didn’t use the pub that day, but I also saw no clear signage indicating that parking would lead to a fine. A few weeks later, I received a £100 parking fine, which was then increased to £120 simply because I was unable to reach anyone in time to dispute it. I tried multiple times to contact the parking company (ParkingEye), but it was impossible to speak with a real person. The whole system feels like a trap — one that profits off of genuine mistakes and lack of clear communication, rather than managing parking fairly. While I accept that it was technically private property, the response was completely disproportionate and unwelcoming. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a local business participate in this kind of enforcement without offering any flexibility, dialogue, or decency — especially toward occasional patrons. If you’re thinking of visiting this pub, be very careful where you park, even if it’s just for a few minutes. Sadly, I can’t recommend supporting a business that chooses to handle things this way.

Fantastic pub. Refurbishment has just finished and the whole building looks amazing. Quiz night, pool teams, skittles and darts. Lisa and the staff are the best you'll find in any pub in Rugby.

Lisa from The Black Horse went above and beyond to resolve an issue I had. Her professionalism and kindness was incredible. It is lovely to know that there are business out there that put customer service at the forefront! I can't thank her enough.

The pub was great even before the refit. Now it's amazing, they did a great job. Lisa and the staff are excellent and friendly. The pub is very relaxed and the atmosphere is very cosy. We have eaten our Sunday lunch at the George for years, never had a bad meal there, it's always been excellent, but we thought we'd give the Black Horse a try. Although lamb is not on the Sunday lunch menu (like most places) Lisa went out of her way to get a piece especially for Becky. The food was brilliant and they couldn't do enough for us. Special mention to Lisa who is by no means 100% but still provided a great service.

Came to this pub, after many a year, and what a little gem, it was very busy, but bar staff were brilliant never more than a few minutes to get served, and we had a lovely meal, and a fantastic atmosphere in the bar as well, all adds up to 5 Stars:)

Really quick service, pizzas were ready within 15 minutes and were delicious. Have used this shop quite a few times in the last 6 months & never had an issue.

Ordered my lunch from there today was perfectly done as always also was cheaper than ordering from just eat by at least £7

Our pizza's came in a timely manner, however, both of our pizzas and garlic bread were cold and burnt. We phoned up and asked for a replacement. Which we collected. Our replacement was still in the same condition. Burnt!! Wouldnt order from here again.

Nice pizzas and the garlic bread is nice. Customer service in store is a little bit rubbish but I order online usually so it's not an issue. Delivery drivers are very friendly and usually arrive promptly, they always want a tip but I never give one. They seem to struggle with the concept of extra cheese, I've put a photo of a pizza I had that should of had extra cheese but there are patches without any cheese, I think it's a dominos problem as I have this issue with all of the ones I've tried except the Amsterdam store in the red light district. Recently I've had two orders from this store and both times the pizzas were very good and exactly what I ordered, plenty of cheese on the pizzas and the garlic bread was great. Hopefully this will be a recurring event on futures, thanks people at domino's.

This is the second time we've ordered food to receive a call stating they don't have stock. Come on Domino's get a grip!!

The owners/staff have no accountability or pride in there work and allow other people to take food that isn’t there’s !! Place is a joke and won’t even answer the phone

Customer service was excellent and helpful. Delivery was on time. My experience was vey good. I was an old customer and had stopped coming. I believe I will start coming back to this particular store. Thank you for a nice day. Pizza was delicious. The French fries were good.

I came in for a bite after shopping. I had the mac and cheese that was very nice but the salad unfortunately was covered in pungent mustard sauce and i couldn't not even look at it, was practically swimming in sauce. Please look into small details like this and just serve the salad sauce in separate little dish so i can add as much as i want to salad 🙏🥗

Used to visit the cafe several times a week for the wonderful £5.50 breakfast. One of the best in rugby! They've now removed that breakfast, added an extra egg and hash brown and bumped the price up to £8. No thanks! I hope the extra you're charging makes you loads of profit, you've just lost £20 a week from a regular customer. Well done big corp

Quite disappointing from Sainsbury's, I had a cheese and ham panini, which was £3 (overpriced). It took around 10mins to come out (longer than expected). There wasn't much in the way of filling, but it was very salty. The bread itself was over done too. Having said that the staff were polite and the environment itself is ok. It's a mixture of sofas with a table in between and standard chairs at a table. Access to the cafe is via stairs or a lift so ok for elderly and disabled.

Ordering porridge with banana and jam on toast you'd think there wasn't much that could go wrong.. They brought our toast over with no jam or butter so I went up to get my own. I reminded them of my porridge and coffee they looked oblivious to the fact they had just taken my order and said they would do it right away. Porridge was brought over cold and uncooked. I brought it back and she stuck it in the microwave and gave it back to me.. Still kinda like warm but I took it. I grabbed myself a banana from the fridge as they seemingly forgot again. The place wasn't packed and they had more than enough staff so no excuse really. The place needs updating. But was clean and tidy. I don't think I'll be back.

Lovely cafe. Good selection of drinks and food. Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of open space and comfortable seating/table areas. Would have been 5 stars but toilets definitely need quite a bit of TLC and attention to deal. But overall, enjoy going there.

Breakfast had a lot of grease on it, especially the mushroom. Toast was hot buttered bread. The rest was OK. Service average, the young lady at the counter worked her socks off serving a large queue alone, and had to help the servers as well. Could have done with a manager to redeploy staff as loads talking down stairs. Clean walls and a dust would have been nice.

Terrible service. Drink order was swiftly forgotten , then the barista needed reminding . After receiving meal , toast was burnt to a crisp. I requested to have it changed, low and behold the toast came back with the same burned intensity as the last one. I’m sure meal quantity used to be twice as big ,along with the menu which is only a short list and yet charged a premium price. Shall I return , I think not.

Ordered takeout from Uber eats. Was well presented and tasted great. The heart and thank you written on the paper bag was a cute little touch. I definitely want to visit in person next time. 😊

Had a lovely meal on Sunday for our anniversary. If you’re eating in, the restaurant is small but very cosy which was perfect for us. The waitress was very friendly and polite. Food was amazing. We got one of the larger sharing platters and a few other bits, and once we finished that we had to go for seconds! Everything we had was delicious and fresh. I would also say the price was very reasonable considering the amount we had. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic sushi. It has become one of our favourite choices for take away and pop in for lovely atmosphere and great food. Such a good attention to detail and a lot of choices! I have even change my husband as he never liked sushi but now he is crazy about these!

Highly recommend this place! Very cozy atmosphere, delicious sushi, and reasonable prices. Our order was taken promptly, and the staff is polite and speaks multiple languages. The eel and smoked salmon sushi is my favorite! Will definitely be coming back🤤🤍

Had take away of 3 vegan options and there are more. Great service, great food. Reasonable prices. Order direct and not on apps like UberEats as prices much more expensive if you order on there (same as all restaurants). It's a small restaurant with only a handful of tables so if you want to eat in the. I'd say advisable to book a table.

We had a really lovely experience here, sushi was fresh and tasty. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was really calm!

They made us vegan Maki Sushi with vegan cream cheese! So delicious and satisfied. Definitely would go back there again! Thank you.

These people don’t know to make a sandwich. I ordered plant picante and the useless fellows forgot the cheese, the sauce, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers,peppers. Basically everything apart from the patty and bread.

Terrible vegan jacket potato with beans and a Pattie. I didn’t think someone could make a bad one, but this was so bad. All for £8.89. Learn from my mistake

Food tasted good. But ordering in the store was not smooth. And they didnt provide enough napkins for my large order (gave just 3). And didn't ask / offer sauce for the side order. Separately, the app is terrible - laggy, non responsive, removes the discount already applied unexpectedly etc.

I came to get some food just before 9pm i have never ever experience such bad customer service the guy who served me had a really bad attitude majority of the salad options wasn’t there. I felt really rushed when doing my order, no smile just a lot of attitude and sighing.I will definitely not be coming here again will be going somewhere else now.

Ordered a sandwich and there was hardly anything inside, basically just bread. Tried ringing them a bunch of times, and nobody picks up the phone. There were items missing from the order and I paid £40 for it. Absolutely abysmal service.

Seriously delicious selection of options here, and the service is impeccable, and always with the biggest smile. All food is made fresh each day, and every single dish is unique, with amazing depths of flavour. A real hidden gem. The samosas are without a doubt, the best I've ever encountered, and you really have to try the egg & fish roll (if it's not sold out!) Prices are extremely affordable, and you will keep on coming back!

Their chicken curry is, without a doubt, the best I've tasted in Rugby. It's a revelation compared to the inauthentic curries often found in other Asian shops. The flavors were incredible, and I found myself craving more

Really nice place, stopped one time to try a samosa and was the best i’d ever had. now every time i’m walking by i can’t resist going in for a lamb or a chicken samosa. £1 for a decently sized and amazing tasting snack.

I wish I could give 6 stars or more for the service. what a guy, maybe the friendliest person I've ever met. Amazing value for money these days for the food that was served. Cooked to perfection and ready on 25 mins. Singapore Chow Mein plus Chicken curry and rice. With chips and prawn crackers. I even got given 2 bottles of water thrown in for free because of the heat. I definitely recommend and will be back again to try more amazing food.

Absolutely incredible. The food is top tier, so good. The (I presume) owner is very nice, welcoming and friendly. I paid £18 for 2 peoples full meals effectively - exceptional value, we spent £40 on basically the same amount of food at Ocean City and it was nothing compared to this food. Would 100% continue going

Just had sweet and sour spare ribs I thought I’d give them a try as they were quite cheap. Didn’t think I’d get much for my money wow was I wrong? Absolutely lovely food spare ribs absolutely delicious and tender sweet-and-sour sauce. Absolutely delicious and a portion of chips for £1.50 very cheap and a full bag and very nice 10 out of 10 definitely be using them again and again I recommend to anyone

First time ordering from Woodside. Very impressed. We ordered 3 mains. 3 sides. There was nothing left. Food was amazing . Chap who runs it was lovely and friendly. Will definitely order again soon.

The restaurant is takeaway only. The price is great, and the vegetarian noodles are hands down the best I’ve had in a long time. I’ve ordered several times, and the quality and taste are consistently great!

This small Chinese takeaway is at the end of a terrist row of houses its small but this belies one of the best Chinese my good lady has had the pleasure of experiencing in the past five years the barbecue ribs are absolutely fantastic big succulent fell off the bone, the beef chow main has large succulent pieces of lean and moist beef and is not greesy in anyway. the ambience is shabby chic just adds to the overall experience, but do not let this clowned your judgement to the quality of the food, the owner is charismatic and interesting this place only accepts Cash no credit cards but is well worth a visit. To all that wok here keep up the good work we will be back.

One of the best restaurants in Rugby, I mean restaurants and not take aways. The food is extremely tasty and the quality of all I tried is simply exceptional. I had the moussaka, rice, grilled lamb and oven potatoes. All was cooked to perfection with a blend of herbs and spice which I never tasted inside the UK. The owners are simply too nice and let me try other dishes too. If you have a chance try the grilled pork, it melts in your mouth. I also had the orange cake which is a delicacy from the owners hometown, absolutely delicious. Portions are quite big so one will fill easily an adult. Prices are aligned with other takeaways but way below those of a restaurant which serves this kind of quality. Do yourself a favour and go to visit them, you won’t be disappointed. They also deliver so you can get the food in the comfort of your home. They also make pasta… will go next to try it!

Great Experience Every Time! We’ve become regulars at this wonderful gyro shop . The food is always fresh, flavorful, and tastes just like home. There’s a nice variety on the menu, and everything we've tried has been delicious.The couple running the place makes you feel welcome right away, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The service is quick, and the prices are fair for the quality. If you're in the area, we definitely recommend stopping by you won't be disappointed!

Great food, authentic Greeks, which immediately reminded us of the taste of gyros from Corfu, the same taste. Very nice service, large portions worth the price. We sincerely recommend it and we will definitely come back.

Fab place, lovely people, the food they supplied completely made my father's birthday party, everyone especially my Dad really enjoyed it. The folks at Easy Greek took great care to recommend dishes as we ordered. On the day it was all prepared and presented precisely on time and as specified with a couple of nice touches to make the party even more special. I found it such a great place, it had come highly recommended by a family friend and they were absolutely right . Excellent all round .

If this was the first time I ever ate Greek food, it would put me off for life, but it wasn't, this place is awful. We were served one chicken and 1 pork gyro the food was cold tezikiki, was watered right down. Saganaki Pan-seared Greek cheese was swimming in 30 Greece. It tasted awful. will never visit this place again?

Probably one of the best takeaways I’ve had very tasty good portions good value for money. Absolutely spot on would definitely order again makes a change for takeaways to actually be good this one definitely is !!
