Consistently good service, a warm welcome. Huge choice on the menu and food served hot and is delicious! Would highly recommend! They even welcome dogs! Perfect!

Arrived at around 3.00 on Sunday and pub was quiet. We were immediately greeted and shown to the bar area as was told other areas were booked. We could see some reserved signs. So happily sat down. But would have preferred the lounge if offered as is nicer. Other walk ins arrived after and two couples were seated in this area so a bit frustrating. I ordered the prawn cocktail and the beef dinner. My partner ordered curry. The menu stated curry with poppadom, plain or garlic nan, which suggested you get both and choice of nan. But was told you just get one. We know the pub and have been before as we do like the food generally. Its homecooked style gives it the edge over bog standard pub fayre. The prawn cocktail was nice, lovely bread and salad. The beef dinner was nice too. Lovely thick beef, veg, mash, stuffing and gravy. The Yorkshire was a bit pale in the middle, almost uncooked. The roasties the opposite they had the colouration and taste that they had been sat around a while and reheated. The curry was nice enough, but wife was not that keen but this is opinion I would say. Chunky chicken pieces and pepper made it look appealing. Small things do make a difference would have preferred to give 5 stars but it wasn't quite there. I would recommend.

We have just moved into the area and thought we would give this place a try. Oh wow ! Two girls running this place couldn't be anymore accomodating. The food was just great. We even took our two cocker spaniels in and they were more welcomed than us 🤭😁. Will be returning in the near future for sure....5+ all round.

Lovely old fashioned pub, we didn't book for sunday lunch but despite being very busy they managed to fit us în. The staff were Wonderful i cannot praise them highly enough they even rustled up a doggy dinner for our cockapoo jean. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this lovely pub cask conditioned beers were great too

Great food with welcoming staff. Food was served in good time even though they were busy. Food was fresh and good sized portions. The bar serves a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Good price for food and drink. Dog friendly inside and even served the dog some treats when we sat down.

Staying in the area for a couple of nights and wanted an evening meal. Decided on the Harp Inn and we weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, friendly locals and the food was delicious. Great service, didnt need to wait long for our food. Would highly recommend 👌 10/10

Visited for dinner twice during our week's holiday. Really lovely welcome and atmosphere. Nice selection of meals and really tasty too. Bit more expensive than other pubs, but worth it. Tess was helpful and particularly on our second visit, both Tess and chef were very accommodating. Highly recommend. Thank you.

The beer was nice, staff were nice, fish chowder starter with fancy bread and then a bang bang korean chicken thing .. both lovely with clogiau aur. Problem .. the main came out before the starter was finished.

Second visit for Sunday lunch. There's something very cozy and welcoming about the building and it was nice to be sat outside to enjoy it. Food is great, reasonably priced and service is personable and friendly.

Oh wow only just found out about this hidden gem absolutely amazing roast dinner fresh and tasty, staff very friendly and polite and a lovely atmosphere in a lovely country pub would highly highly recommend will definitely be back for a few more meals before we go home

I was a guest of a client who bought me lunch. Service was very good and quick. I would have given them 5 stars but I think the choices on their menu could be improved. There was only one item on the mains section which was to my liking and that was the fish and chips. The mushy peas were really nice and I liked the side salad but I've had better fish and chips from my local chippy in Abergele. I would go back again and hope to see some improvement.

Booked a table today for Mother’s Day at late notice and they managed to get us in. Staff were very friendly and brilliant. Service was very good and the food was amazing. We had 3 x beef Sunday roast and 1 x carbonara. All 4 meals looked and tasted amazing. Highly recommend to anyone who is calling past.

Came across this place while visiting family who were away in thier caravan. The landlady is warm freindly and accommodating, explained about special deals they have ect.. THE FOOD Was expecting the usual pub food. How wrong was I!!! The food was cooked fresh to order with fresh local ingredients, it really showed in the quality of the dishes. The menu is simple (which I like) but flavours quality portion size where amazing as was the way it was all cooked. One if the best pub meals we've probably ever had. Also so cheap!! Family 4 adults and a child, all had 3 courses.. Garlic mushrooms to start 2 fillet steak with trimmings A HUGE mixed grill. And just as big burger 3 deserts 2 bottles of prosseco 4 pints of beer And soft drinks £110 and worth every penny. We will be back in a few weeks.

Man who took our order at the bar was very friendly, We ordered 2 meals from the specials board which the chef had to come and take a picture of as he didn’t know there were any specials on, Food arrived, the cous cous I ordered was cold and dry with little to no chicken and no sauce, The mac and cheese we ordered was brown and really did not taste good. The chips were cold, and burnt, they also looked like they were hours old. Garlic bread was very soggy. Service was good but food was terrible. Would not go back

Menu lovely, reality food is terrible may have been a one off but 5 mains and 5 starters, 2 starters ok 1 forgotten the other 2 half of what's advertised awful, 3 mains turned up tepid and again half of what's advertised other 2 had under cooked eggs on the plate. Only plus the bar staff were nice. Lots of nicer places to eat in Abergele

Lovely, friendly staff and atmosphere, what I would call a proper old fashioned pub. Food excellent, home made, hot and very tasty. Couldn't ask for more. Thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended.

As a family went to Hafan y Mor campsite, we had a day out and then meal before heading home, the atmosphere was great, really friendly people, great service and the food was beautiful, many thanks for your hospitality and we appreciate it very much from the Manchester Group

Very friendly staff. Tried the Bush tucker trial meal and it was unexpectedly nice. Loved how they got into the role of I'm a celebrity being filmed in the village. Normal food was absolutely delicious. Dessert was so lush

The lady who served us was lovely, although rushed off her feet with customers, which made the wait time for a drink slightly longer than average. The food was gorgeous! I would definitely recommend. Shame we don't live closer, I'd eat here all the time.

Came here for a quick breakfast before visiting Gwrych Castle. Found this cafe after a Google search. The food was delicious, we ordered 1 vegetarian breakfast and 1 Roots breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place. I also had a fresh lemon and ginger tea and they actually used fresh lemon and ginger which not a lot places do. The vegetarian sausages were really tasty. Service was fast and friendly :)

Good quality food freshly cooked to order, for those whingeing about the wait in their reviews. Good food takes time. Cheerful and friendly staff. I had a BLT with sourdough. It was absolutely delicious. The bacon was thick cut and perfectly cooked. Not your frazzled, pre cooked microwaved offering. The coffee is really good quality and I'm fussy about coffee. Bright, spotlessly clean and airy cafe, with parking and outdoor seating. I will definitely return. Highly recommend and I'm trying the breakfast next time

Paid £36 for two english breakfasts we waited 45 minutes for , the cafe wasn't busy! I got the green smoothie which I couldn't drink as it tasted like a swamp just to mention i usually love green smoothies and the mug which I had my tea in smelt like a dirty dishwasher. Feel like I've wasted money going to roots cafe 😪

We had the tapas menu with a restricted selection of several different starters and mains which you can order as much as you can eat, so it's good to try new things and or try the food quality, certainly one of the very best options for Chinese food in and around Abergele area and probably better value than many takeaways, Overall good value fairly decent selection, if your feeling hungry it's well worth a go.

Lovely meal and service was spot on. The waiter even went as far as to humour us and show us how to use chopsticks despite how hopeless we were haha. Food was lovely and there’s a LOT to chose from. My suggestion would be to order less than you think you need as the portions were a really good size so no need for unnecessary sides etc. food was tasty and very reasonable for the price. Toilets are very clean which is always good to see and there was an overall welcoming atmosphere. Will 100% be returning.

Lovely gem of a restaurant, very chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Great selection on the menu, even the kids cleared their plates! Attentive and friendly staff. Food came hot and in excellent time. ( We only just managed 1 game of Uno 😄). Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend! If we come back to Abergele, we will definitely come back here,.

Restaurant on main street, no parking, had to walk a bit from nearest car park. Preebooked few hours in advance, it was full at 7pm on Sunday, so must be popular place. Food was good but not the best, and more expensive and smaler portions too. Waitress was polite with smile to take our order, but man waiter was nearly throwing plates onto our table. He must be hates his job. On Wednesdays they do 30% off main dishes, on Sundays one kid up to 10 years old have main dish for free. Not bad ,but not 5* experience.

Check your order before leaving is my biggest advice. Ordered a 20 chicken nugget box, got 15 nuggets instead. Ordered a large fries and got a quarter full cold amount of chips. The frozen drinks were extremely watered down. I don’t usually complain but spent damn near £20 for 2 people to eat & it was freezing cold & half the food wasn’t in it.

I don't often come to McDonalds, but this was the worst I've been too. Food was slow and cold. And the worst of it.....we saw rats all outside in the children's play area and outdoor seating area. Washed £30 of food after seeing the rats. We ran out of there!

Over the past year, every time I’ve been through the drive-thru, the staff have generally seemed uninterested and a bit pushy. However, on Sunday evening, I was served by a lovely lady named Lisa Jayne. She was cheerful, friendly, and created a genuinely pleasant atmosphere—it was a refreshing change and really stood out. Lisa’s approach really stands out. I’d love to see others take a similar mindset.

We were visiting the area and wanted a drink, not a big long food order, just a drink. We waited in the drive thru for at least 20 minutes waiting for cars to go through and for us to reach the order point. Didn't help with having one lane closed on the drive thru. Glad it's not my local one. Hopefully we'll find a different one in the future.

Clean and presentable. No major wait for food. Did notice the menu lacked items found in manchester which could be a demographic thing. All in all not the worst/best McDonald's ive been too

We ordered 2 cheese burgers and 1 chips , These burgers looked like a child portion, The burger had a very salty , hard taste , you couldn't taste cheese at all , just tomato ketchup , This was possibly the worst McDonald's burgers we have had , The chips was the only thing that was hot and tasty. This was at midnight at. 24 hour McDonald's. Don't waste your money...

One order lane open so long wait to order, give you the ice cream at the window then park you up so it’s melted after the 10 minutes wait for your food. And the burgers look they have been put together with a catapult!!!

Ordered 4 x curry, 2 rice, garlic naan and chilli naan (plus poppadoms and chutney). When got back, after eating poppadoms and chutneys, dished up mains to find no rice and 2 chillie naan instead. Husband phoned back and response on the phone was not good customer service, blunt and rude. Said we haven't taken for rice, although price in cash paid would have, no comment on two chillies naan. Disappointing as have been on numerous occasions and although curries were tasty very Disappointed by the customer service.

One of the best take out meals I have ever had. Lived in Leicester for a few years had many curry's this was amazing. We had the set meal for 2 we changed a couple of items. And saw our food being made in the kitchen.

Travelled 20 mins to collect. Rang originally for a delivery as the website said it delivered they dont not to towyn. Awful telephone service asked for delivery the man hung up. Collected the food and the chicken tikka masala was bland in flavour, pink not red the meat was okay. Nann was floury not charred at all or covered in ghee like our Local indian it was like a supermarketbrought one you warm up yourself. Overall disappointing. If you want a good indian head to the Midlands certainly not here. It was not great at all and no free poppadoms and onion as we get back home with an order over 20 quid. Ill never order a curry away again. Stick to home way more for your money

I am not to sure what or why the recipe has changed for chicken tikka korma or the mint sauce. It was extremely spicy and it’s meant to not spicy it’s meant to be mild. The mint sauce used to be yellow now it is orange with a kick. You guys have obviously changed your recipes and you shouldn’t have. My mouth was burning after the first few bites and so was my lips. I loved this place only Indian I’d go too. . I know this review means nothing to you guys but for someone who cannot take spice but loved your mild flavour's I’m done. Such a shame some things should be just left alone.

Chose to order from here after seeing the good reviews, I was really surprised when we got our order. Both curries extremely watery, more like a gravy than a sauce. The flavours where ok but texture was nothing like a curry, can't understand why such good reviews unless we for a bad batch.

Small and sweet. Amazing service, welcoming and friendly even the regulars were super friendly. Loved the fact there’s a ticket win option for prizes! Had the most incredible burger! Won freebies and played mini golf, plenty to do around! Indoor and outdoor seating. Wish I got a photo of the milkshake too! It was a perfect weekday family trip ❤️

Used to be great place but unfortunately after visiting today for some donuts we was served the most discussing looking grease circles is the only way to describe them after waiting 15 minutes for " freshly cooked ones " a big shame we won't visit again

Went Today. Brilliant Little Place,well worth a visit for anyone. Played Mini Golf only cost £3 each which we thought was a really good price and you can have more than one round if you want. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Not overpriced all made fresh as you wait..My kids loved the 20p Bingo. Definitely visiting again Thank you

Great place to visit if you're in the area. Lots of arcade games and bingo to play. The food menu is varied with lots of meals for all ages. Drinks and desserts are delicious too. There is inside and outside seating and a crazy golf course to the left of the building. Well behaved dogs are welcome to stop by, too. There is a toilet (porta-loo) at the side of the main building but there is no hot water from the sink. Beautiful views out to sea from the car park opposite.

We love coming here on a Saturday just to knock some hours off from the day. I been get a white chocolate milkshake which is heaven and should be put on menu.

Just had a 60th Birthday Party for Denise my wife at the yacht. Thanks to Ursula and Graham who supplied a fantastic buffet and also a lovely surprise birthday cake. The staff were excellent and very attentive as there was a lot of people attending. Can I also thank those people for coming to create a great atmosphere. Every Friday is karaoke night with Jacko. Can I also thank him for a great night of entertainment and banter.

We have had two wakes there and they were brilliant, a lovely atmosphere and amazing spreads of food with more than enough for everyone. Both times we were able to take some home, and leave some for their staff and customers. I’ve also had multiple carvery’s which were absolutely gorgeous, everything is cooked to perfection and you know that time and effort has been put into it. The staff are polite and friendly and I look forward to going again.

After missing last year due to lockdown our family were able to enjoy Christmas Day lunch at the Yacht. Once again we all enjoyed a wonderful fresh cooked 3 course meal that was tasty, plentiful and fantastic value. The service was excellent as usual. There was even a beautiful monogrammed gift for our 3 year old granddaughter. Thank you to Graham, Ursula and the team for being part of our family Christmas celebration. Not been here for a few years, it was a regular place to go at one time. They only take cash, so be warned, I had stopped before to get food, but didn't, due to it being only cash, which in this day and age is ridiculous. But there you go, so many more could enjoy the food as much as I did. Mixed kebab with Garlic mayo on my salad, it was excellent.

Ordered 2 x chicken meat and chips and a small chips. Got home and the small chips wasn’t in the bag. Went back to ask for them and got told we only ordered 2 chips. Pulled the recipe out to show that there should have been 3 portions of chips and they then tried saying the small chips was added in one of the trays with the chicken and chips. They were not. There was only one portion in each tray. Who would do that anyway?? Put someone’s chips in some else’s tray?? What if they’re vegetarian?? This was the thirst time they’ve got something wrong and refused to rectify it. Will not be giving them another chance. Rude and incompetent.

I’ve had orders from here a few times but this was the worst pizza I’ve had in my life. Delivery was on time (50 mins) and driver was very pleasant and friendly but when I opened the box half the topping had slid off and was stuck to the lid, it was cold and soggy and just inedible. I phoned immediately to complain and was offered a replacement but I didn’t want to wait another fifty minutes as I was hungry so I asked for my money back. The driver returned with my refund within half an hour. Also I’d laid for extra toppings, one of them being chillis but there wasnt any on it. The whole lot went in the food recycling bin. Not sure I will be ordering from here again. Lost customer

Have had delivery from here for long time now. Last night had 14" pizza, lamb doner & chips. Food as always tastes lovely especially their pizza base sauce. Food also comes hot when delivered.

Food was delivered at the time specified to the local caravan site. Food was fresh, hot. Good portion size. Pizza was banging!

1st time here and very happy.. staff were great, and changed certain items between customers, keeping things clean and us safe. Menu is getting better and better as time goes by, prices are reasonable. Parking nearby can be a bit of a lottery as to whether you can find a place or not. Would recommend.

Nothing but praise for the food I got from here. Stellar service from the lovely lad Jack behind the counter, don't think I've ever seen a sub made so fast! He seemed to be able to pack more flavour into it than ever. Or maybe that was just the effect of getting lost in those beautiful friendly eyes while making my order. Feel like he put his heart and soul into that sandwich. 5 Stars.

Came here few times, do a great selection, love it, downside its at petrol station. So if your waiting in queue to fill you car, make sure the guilty party thats holding the queue up isnt in a queue themselves waiting to get a subway .

Lady preparing sandwiches at counter told me vegan wrap is covered by subway voucher. She confirmed it with supervisor. At till I was made to pay nearly double amount for meal. She was not prepared to put veg right amount. Not good enough.

Always a warm and friendly welcome upon arriving. Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Cheese and red onion panini with chips was delicious as was the decaf cappuccino. Returned this morning for brunch and asked if it would be possible to have a vegetarian large breakfast and the owner/chef was more than happy to do this for me. When it arrived there was plenty on the plate, fresh tomatoes and mushrooms, hash browns and beans and brown toast with real butter. Delicious and filling and a clean plate. Lovely selection of cakes so I bought some to take home with me. Thanks once again Nick and team. Be back soon. Ken

Poor man serving was on his own, initially, and obviously busy (Thursday lunchime). He was very apologetic. It did not matter. The jacket potato was the best I've had in ages. I had a jacket potato with cheese and beans. The side salad was exactly what I'd want: red onion, peppers, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, no dressing, perfect! It didn't feel like a long wait. Toasties were good quality. We sat outside, with our dog. There were plenty of benches and water was provided in bowls for dogs. There weelre several other people there with dogs too. The coffee was so-so, I'd choose a different drink next time. Toilet narrow but good. Would recommend it as a stopping off point if you are travelling through like we were. I use a wheelchair but didn't go inside.

Nice cake and cuppa stop right on the beach, with parking and not far off the A55. Hot food on the menu as well, plenty tables outside when the weather allows.

Difficult to give an accurate account of the place as it was closed at the time we attempted to visit 😕 There was a lot of confusion in the area about where exactly dogs were allowed and what months of the year they were permitted. It was unclear if dogs would have been welcomed at the café but as the were closed it didn't really matter!

Just wanted somewhere to have a cup of tea and something for breakfast absolutely fantastic bacon sandwich and a fabulous mug of tea brilliant service and friendly atmosphere Highly recommend

Wow, well what a find! Who would have thought such a fun lively place existed in sleepy old Abergele. A micro bar with excellent range of real ale and lagers plus a huge range of gins. The day we visited there was a singer on doing range of 60s-90s and she was fabulous. The ladies behind the bar were welcoming, friendly and great beer recommendations. The beers were fantastic, the prices really reasonable ( approx £4 a pint although I suggest half pints to sample the range.). It was clean, modern, vibrant and really made my holiday. If you just visit one place in Abergele, make it this one.

I've been to a lot of craft beer bars around the UK, Europe and beyond, of course its not the best but for its location and what they're trying to do its a 5* place. Straddled by 2 old classic pubs opposite, The Harp & The George & Dragon, they've taken the bold step of introducing independent breweries to an area that really only has guest cask at best. Really good value and a nice range from lager to cask to IPAs and ciders. Local and community brewers on board so they haven't gone down the route of stocking £12 cans shipped from around the country and sold at a premium and pricing locals out, they've started small and offer Tetleys and Lagers you'll find in most pubs. I didn't sample their Gin but they had an impressive selection. I wish them all the best, hope it catches on and leads to more independents having a go at something new.

Have only ever been on a Sunday as they have a singer from 4pm, but the atmosphere is always good, Staff and patrons are friendly and welcoming and it's a great chance to catch up with friends. Regular turnaround of guest beers, so you never quite know what's going to be on offer. Only slight downside is it's quite small and you have to book ahead, especially for the Sundays. But that's part of its charm.

Brilliant place for cask beers, large variety of gins and cocktails. In a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. No TV no jukebox just conversation and a bit of banter with the staff. Dog friendly too. There is live entertainment on Sunday Afternoon for a couple of hours which is very busy and booking a table is recommended. This little gem of a place on Market Street, Abergele has been in the Good Beer Guide for 4 years running.

I love this place, I always make sure I pop in when visiting Abergele. The owners Emma and Barry are always so welcoming, the atmosphere is friendly and the range of flavoured gins that they make is just amazing 🤩

We Parked near the entrance facing the sea as there is no car park here.We walked through to the cafe which is next to the caravan site office. A friendly chap took our order which was very reasonably priced for a big breakfast and a mug of tea, we didn't wait long for it to be delivered to our table.There was seating outside,toilets and baby changing facilities. We had a lovely walk along the beach afterwards. Maybe the cafe could have a radio on for back ground noise as it was really quiet. We enjoyed our visit all the same and wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Good food not bad at all ,very hot in there at times .however you are dinning in a static caravan, I don't drink however beer per can was expensive (very) there is seating outside which is very pleasant. And ample parking space two. A nice little menu for the children to.

We went for a walk and decided to call in for a brew. The service was friendly and efficient. The interior of the cafe is not ultra modern but very clean and had a lovely atmosphere to it. We had seen the menu and various plates being served to the other customers and thought that looks lovely but it is cash only and didn't have enough with me. We would definitely call in again and take cash with me next time. There is also plenty of seating outdoors for those hot sunny days.

Castle view cafe is a lovely place to eat, the food is excellent, staff are friendly, service is quick and efficient, I've eaten here a few times and never been disappointed.

Second time visiting here and it didn't disappoint. Awesome service, even on a busy Sunday night. We sat outside as we had dogs with us. I had the meaty pizza which came with chicken, ham (thick ham not cheap skinny pieces), pepperoni, red peppers and spring onions (also comes with jalapeños but i asked could they omit them as I don't like them). Pizza was awesome as always. Tasted amazing. All made fresh. Will definitely try again when I'm back in Lladudno.

For someone with allergies I had the best service & one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The owner gave me a list of what I couldn’t have considering my allergies and even cleaned the oven out before doing my pizza, some great service I have never gotten elsewhere. That aside, the pizza tasted perfect, not too spicy, not too overwhelmingly cheesy or anything and packed with flavour.

The pizza was delicious, I had the ham and pineapple. Due to allergies I had the vegan cheese alternative. Husband had the meat pizza . I would recommend that the website is updated as the prices have changed and it also says no extra charge for the cheese alternative but I was charged £1.50 for the vegan cheese.

Tasty pizza! Highly recommend mussel pizza, very special 😋Very comfortable environment, not crowded and can walk in anytime. Perfect for people who don’t have plans, unlike most of other restaurants in Llandudno which need a booking.

I phoned to book a table on Thursday 21/8/25 at 5:30pm. The person on the phone said we had a table in the front window. She was very helpful and discussed our needs after I explained my wife is sensitive to sunlight and gave us a table in the back room. We arrived at approximately 5:15pm and we were shown to our table. We ordered drinks and food. The drinks came and we waited for our food. Whilst waiting we notice the two guys who were preparing the pizzas and toppings etc. whilst they were going about their business, one of them picked some of the food off a pizza and tasted it, which meant he took food and put it in his mouth and continued to prepare other food without even attempting to wash his hands. As we watched he touched his face, nose and scratched the back of his neck 4 times, all without any washing of his hands before carrying on touching the dough and toppings as he prepared customers food. At this point we decided to leave so we attracted the attention of the front of house team and told them we wanted to pay for our drinks and leave, even though we had not finished them. We told them the full reason why we were leaving and one of them said she would be having a word with the person in question. We stressed to them that it was not their fault we were leaving but we were utterly disgusted with what we had witnessed. We can’t comment on the food as we did not eat any. It was the most flagrant disregard of health and safety and food hygiene we have ever witnessed.

We really liked this place - the staff were naturally friendly and wanted to ensure we had a good stay. Lovely room with a bath. Really nice food. It is the local pub for the village but it has a warm and welcoming air. We felt very welcome. The village is beautiful.

Visited this evening and had a fantastic meals. The Scampi, Seafood Linguine and Seabass were very delicious 😋 Generous portions and great service. Highly recommend and looking forward to visiting again for Sunday Lunch.

7 of my family, 5 adults and 2 children, just called at the Black Lion for Sunday dinner. It was absolutely delicious. We all had a roast, a mix of lamb, chicken and beef. It was hot with a very good selection of veg - carrot, parsnip, tenderstem broccoli, red cabbage, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, cheesy mash, stuffing and Yorkshire puddings. 6 clean plates, only our youngest left some but she did very well too. We were too full for pudding but the choice looked good. We’ll definitely go back before we leave this beautiful area. Recommend 100% 👍🏻

Food was quite nice overall but service was awful, waited 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared after we finished our mains and had to go to the bar and ask one of the staff members behind the bar to clear them. Our mains took a long time to come and nobody asked about allergies. Empty drinks glasses were routinely ignored and later we were told incorrect information about one of the deserts by staff and when brought up to management they were rude and refused to listen to anything we had to say. Overall food was good, service extremely poor.

Popped in bank holiday Monday on the off chance of a quick bite to eat whilst passing. Walked in and asked for a table of 4 only to be told that there would be over an hour and a half wait for food as they had a big table coming ! Then when I politely asked if we could get our order in before the big table the answer was no ! Now Considering there was only 2 other people actually eating at the time and "the big table of people" were not even there yet I found this absolutely mind blowing. Obviously they didn't need the trade or something. Obviously they were run off there feet. Won't be returning and with an attitude like that I can't see the new owners staying long either. Good luck because I think your going to need it.

Used to be our favourite place for a Sunday lunch. Have not been for a while and sadly won’t be going back. Service was really slow and the restaurant wasn't that busy. We had to ask for service constantly- asking for table to be cleared after starters so we could get our mains and again for puddings. Didn’t have cutlery so had to ask twice -this was after the food was served. Most had a Sunday dinner. 3 didn’t have all the elements of the meal, we asked for what was missing and it never came. Couldn’t eat the roasties due to fear of cracking a tooth and the meat wasn’t good, neither were the yorkies. Overall not a great experience and we won’t be back. It’s not as good as it used to be and wouldn’t recommend.

Coffee with a view! Visited over the weekend. Lovely food and service. My child dropped his ice cream on the floor. The gentleman caught up with us to offer a replacement, which was not expected but such a lovely gesture. Highly recommend the quiche, which was delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating, ideal for dog walkers. Ample parking and directly on the sea front. Lovely walks in either direction. We will be visiting again! I would recommend a visit for a spot of lunch or just a brew and cake, which were also very yummy. And not forgetting the cherry ice cream 👌

Great location, friendly service but very slow. 40 minutes to wait for two dishes, definitely place NOT suitable for those who are pressed for time or don't like to wait. Unfortunately, the fish&chips ordered lacked salt, not clear if it was intended by the chef or not. Also on the menu it was not specified the presence of rice within the dish “sweet potato chick pea”

We went in here yesterday after a lengthy walk from the north shore and wow, what a little gem of a place. We had a cup of tea each and my wife had a slice of lemon drizzle cake, and I had a slice of Victoria sponge. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, and the staff were really good. The location is jaw dropping. Definitely worth the walk from the north shore.

I highly recommend this café. The scone was delicious and very fresh. The value is very good especially for the location, with the scone, cream and jam being only £3.60 with just a scone being only £2.20. The staff were very friendly and the service was fast. The scone was so delicious I forgot to take a photo. The sea view is amazing and there are plenty of scenic walks nearby. Iced tea and smoothie were very delicious and the smoothie was vegan which was great. There is seating both inside and outside. The atmosphere inside and outside the building is very nice.

A very pleasant cafe to arrive at after a coastal walk. Delicious food and coffee. We had the homemade broccoli quiche for lunch.

As a group of four we called into the cafe for a breakfast. We all had the light £7:95 breakfast which also included toast, a choice of tea or coffee and we all agreed it was real quality. The staff were very polite and the place was immaculate.

Eaten several times here, each time the food has been fantastic and tasty. Anything and everything is catered for. The atmosphere is fabulous, whether coming for a meal or a couple of drinks in the evening. The staff couldn't be more welcoming. Kevyn and Kerry are a great duo, and their team are a great lot. Whether you want a nice afternoon meal or you want to join a game night, this pub has you covered. The prices are excellent and definitely more than worth the food and drink. They're also fantastically dog friendly and catered to my rather anxious dog, which was wonderful! A great selection of doggy sweets on the bar, and the staff were so lovely and welcoming with her. Highly recommended!

The george and dragon in Abergele has quickly become our regular hangout. Friendly and helpful service, quiet tables in the corner for those of us with anxiety. AMAZING COCKTAILS. Really good food and very reasonably priced.

Arrived late in Abergele, mid-week at the end of June. Quiet and worrying for weary and hungry travellers. So we stopped at the George and Dragon and asked if the kitchen was open. The friendliest publican in Wales gave us a big smile and suggested we cross the road, get a Chinese take away and eat it at his pub. What a gent! Loved his beer and his attitude!

A decent pint, reasonably priced, clean and comfy pub. My daughter wanted a tuna melt but without the cheese, I quote "The best tuna melt without the melt I've ever had". Always excellent service from Kev, Ben and the rest of the team. Always some special offers or deals on drinks and food, loyalty card scheme too 👍 Highly recommended for food or just an after work drink. Very welcoming atmosphere

Went for a few pints and some dinner.Fish chips and peas were on offer with a drink i had a pint of cider only £10'50 cider on its own was £3'90. Landlord was very pleasant very friendly and helpful Pub is nice and cosy outside area is really good its got benches and a massive tv but also like a great big shed all carpeted with a couple of dart boards a pool table and a few tvs. Toilets were clean worth a visit.

We’ve drank here loads when we've come to Abergele on visits, attended fantastic karaoke evenings, and now we’ve moved to the area, we’ve just had our first Sunday Roast…… Absolutely gorgeous 😍 fantastic value for money, stunning food, homemade recipes that remind me of my nans cooking (so hard to find red cabbage anywhere close to hers!) Staff once again are incredibly attentive and helpful, even my fussy 10 year old absolutely loved his roast dinner! See you again soon!!

We came for a group meal of 8 of us. We pre-ordered as originally we were a larger group but some couldn't make it. We had a lovely meal. The staff were excellent, only two of them on front of house but attentive and very friendly. My meal of plaice was delicious and the pudding (Baileys cheesecake with boozy berries a yummy treat). The feedback on the fish and chips was that the batter was too thick but overall we had a nice meal. Great views of castle and some nice outside seating areas for sunny days.

Not long a go we visited this place for food multiple times as it was so good. I had the steak which was amazing, and my partner had the fish and chips which was also looking stunning. The owners were very nice to us, and booked us a table most nights. Highly recommend trying this place out for the food!

Lovely pub in deganwy with some pretty spectacular views if you sit on the balcony. I stopped over in my van. You have to book as there’s only really space for about 2/3 small vans. They do insist on eating so what do you do if you’re not hungry? I paid the average price of a meal (£20) as I didn’t want to waste food and was happy with the fee. I also had several pints so all was good. Recommended! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🏰

With plenty of great restaurants around and we’ve been to them all in Conwy . Well after passing it and kept saying we must try it. We finally did and we went back two weeks later. The staff are friendly, the pub/restaurant is comfortable and clean and the food is really nice. Like most places book before you go as it is popular.

Super-friendly, we could taste the beers before choosing. The fish and chips are awesome, and the summer berry crumble is simply delicious. As its name states, nice views to the castle in a sunny evening after visiting Conwy. Highly recommended.

We have just enjoyed our first visit for a Sunday lunch which was absolutely delicious, the beef was cooked to perfection! We often struggle with finding somewhere to go on our way home off the A55, well we have definitely found our go to. In a great location with a delightful view of Conwy and the castle. Amazing place to eat and amazing view. Friendly staff and great real ales. The sea bass with sauce vierge was truly amazing - one of the best I have ever eaten; just perfect. Must aim to return soon.

Kids loved it here, was something for all ages. The prices of drinks was a little pricey, aswell as the prices for games like hook a duck. Staff on the rides were friendly & helpful.

Just had my sons 5th birthday party at the fair. The rides and food were all included in the price which was nice. The party started at 11am, and they had unlimited rides until 1pm. All the staff were very helpful and everyone had a great time. The fair was clean and the rides were tidy. We will be back next year thank you. Highly recommended 👌

Brilliant amusement arcade. Fantastic few hours spent here on holiday. Very helpful staff, very clean. Staff frequent walk through, keeping areas tidy and helpful if and where needed. Couldn't find a bin, staff member approached on hearing this and offered to take rubbish. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

Absolutely delicious ice cream! The man who served me was really nice and made it a nice experience. We also got a portion of chips which unfortunately was an extremely tiny portion for £3.15. I asked for extra vinegar and didn’t get any vinegar so did let down the rating but definitely recommend for ice cream.

Nice food and outstanding view. Great service I had Sunday lunch and It went so well with cranberry sauce. I specially liked that Yorkshire pudding was so huge 😉 It was a little bit far to drive all the way upto the cliff though😅 Other than that, satisfied with food, view and service.

We have just arrived packed all our things into the caravan and then headed for a well earned beer at The Cliffs. Very very quiet as its first week in October. Had the place to ourselves. Went with pie of the day. chicken and mushroom. Very nice and wholesome with some nice veggies and chips and lots of gravy. Sadly the cliffs not open on Tuesdays and Wednesday so had to go elsewhere for a beer. Looking forward to the curry for 2 later. Will review that one tomorrow. Plus will review the whole stay experience next week. Words to live by when visiting the cliff always turn righty as left is to tighty 🤣🤣🤣

Top-notch food. Friendly staff. A gourmet dining experience. Garlic mushrooms, soup, pate, minted lamb Henry - all excellent. Not much choice in desserts (mainly sponge type) but they were delicious too. Will definitely go back.

First visit to The Cliffs but it definitely won’t be the last. The Sunday roast was exceptional, the best we have had in a while. The staff were lovely, really welcoming and the views topped off a wonderful Sunday afternoon. I would highly recommend it!

We stayed at Tanrallt for the week and ended up eating at the cliff restaurant twice. The first time, I had the BBQ chicken pizza—it was seriously delicious and packed with flavour. My mum, who doesn’t eat much, had the kids’ sausage and mash, which was just right for her. We went back for the Sunday carvery and wow—honestly one of the best I’ve had! The meat was super tender, and the shared skillet of veggies was amazing. The dauphinoise potatoes and cauliflower cheese were so good, and there was loads of gravy (which I love!). Prices were really reasonable for what you get, and the staff were all so lovely and attentive. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Called in for a Sunday carvery, what can we say? Food was amazing, staff are friendly, welcoming and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. The deco is modern, inviting and spotless. Lovely experience and the view across the valley was the perfect backdrop. Will definitely become a regular.

We booked a table by telephone and confirmed by speaking to an actual person. Drove through the smallest possible roads to get there. And it was closed. Terribly bad form. Shame on you.

Visited this cafe and to be honest wished I had not ! Firstly the staff a young girl just stared right through me ! I asked if they were still serving ? And another young girl said yes ! I ordered and the pot of tea was in a mug with the tea bag left in and no spoon ! Requested one and if looks could kill 🙃 The food came eventually and the Jacket potato was like rock so could not cut it ! The salad was lettuce tomato only ! Breakfast was shocking too ! The food was overcooked and cold !! The overall experience was terrible and the staff made you feel like they were doing you a favour by taking your money ! I went to the toilet and you have to wash your hands in the other room however there was no hand towels so I informed staff and again they just stared at me and did nothing !I would advise the owners to perhaps do some hospitality Training ! Definitely would not recommend! Overpriced poor food and shocking staff !

The food was not cooked well and the staff was not always there when you asked for them. The atmosphere was a bit dirty especially the bathroom and the table clothes had holes in them and the plates were not cleaned well enough. I WOULD NEVER GO AGAIN

The cafe is advertised to be open but it's not. It is an inconvenience especially when you take a detour to visit it and pay for parking just to get to know the advertised timings are incorrect.

Very friendly service. Top quality food! Really enjoyed my mixed kebab. The chicken meat is perfectly seasoned, really tasty, and the texture is spot on! The bread that comes with the kebab is perfect! All the food was hot and made quickly. Would gladly order food from here again. Thank you for the sweetcorn relish 😀 not many places with a good sauce selection like this!

While on holiday the family fancied a kebab night. It's always a chance when choosing somewhere and you don't know the area. However, this place didn't let us down. Everyone enjoyed their meals so I would definitely recommend Towyn Pizza & Kebab House. See you next time. Matt

This is by far, one of the best kebab shops locally, friendly staff, clean shop, and always hot and delicious food. Kebabs and pizzas are top notch, we don't go anywhere else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I recently visited this place and I have to say, I was blown away! The food was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. The chicken kebab was cooked to perfection and was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The bread was fresh and warm, and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my experience all the more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious, fresh and authentic food. I will definitely be returning soon!

Great food from this place. Ate here twice while on holiday. Portions were generous and the chips were the best I've had in a long while. Staff lovely and friendly. Curry was beautiful and the lasagne was full of flavour. Great pub to have a great meal, price was very good too. Two mains for £18 - well worth it 👌

Popped in for a meal the other week. Lasagne was lovely and proper meaty. Bar staff were hard working and never stopped.

I have drank in this pub for 20 years untill early this year when I was treated with disrespect because I had not been in that often because of disability. So when I started my recovery and started going in again. The people who I had introduced to the pub got special members cards for reduced prices on drinks. They handed out cards to 3 people who I drink with and non for me who has drank in there for over 20 years. I've ran 4 pubs and even if management changes you look after your regulars don't you? Mabey not in there anymore very disappointing. Do better for people who have health problems.

Went for sunday lunch with my wife and our dog couldn't eat in the main dining room as dogs are only allowed in the bar area. We ordered a roast beef dinner and a turkey dinner both were excellent and the service was polite and friendly, wouldn't hesitate to reccomend

Called in for a drink, thought the peroni would be OK as somebody else had a pint, however he left around half and I did the same. I did not return the drink because that was the only thing I fancied that they sold. Female toilet facilities also left a little to be desired in functionality and hygiene. The last sentence was an observation of my partners not myself.

I gave the food 5 stars as we didn't have the food so can't comment on that. The bar staff are brilliant and top quality and love to have a laugh which is great especially when it comes to having a drink very friendly indeed. Now the atmosphere the times me and my partner were going in was around 19:00 just in time for karaoke was great to hear the kids getting up and singing the same repeat so gs but all good, the big downside is the locals/regulars giving snarky comments, staring at us for no reason might of been because we arnt regulars who knows. We went in a total of 3 times and each time we felt like we had to leave and keep a constant look over our shoulder to go back to where we were staying. That was the only downside to it

Really nice food and really nice people in the restaurant, the bar staff are a different story. The lady with the short hair cut was rude to everyone not just me and my partner everyone, there is no need for it if you don’t like your job leave. The rest of the staff where nice.

Been coming here for years. Love it all staff very welcoming and polite and lovely I wanna mention Naomi especially she's amazing such and has a good vibe she can't do enough for you amazing personality and really good with the customers. Also I'd like to add that Sophie has been amazing, kind and has great customer service skills she also couldn't do enough for the customers.

Food was cold and had to be sent back to be warmed up, not enough cutlery and when it was provided some had food stains still on them, staff where apologetic, didn't bother me that much as food was fine in the end, I have eaten there before and will eat there again in the future as its never happened before when I've visited.

Fantastic family pub/restaurant with family karaoke & live entertainment! Plenty of outdoor seating areas & ample space inside for the little AND big ones to run around! The staff are friendly & helpful with a good sense of humour. Lots of sanitizing stations throughout the venue & toilets surprisingly cleaned throughout the day/night. The DJ is lovely. He normally let's the kids get up & sing before the adult karaoke which is good fun. There is a real family vibe at Sunny's bar....

Had lovely meals, the staff was excellent and prices really good, would recommend a visit ,we will be back soon to see them.

Was definitely enticed by the large board advertising ice cream. Unfortunately, when I asked what flavours were on offer, I was told they only sell one flavour and one type of ice cream. The ice cream van parked next to the kiosk had a lot more to choose from. The 2 members of staff were nice enough, even though they didn't seem too happy to be there. A smile and a little enthusiastic energy would have made me forget I was getting big standard ice cream 😏 The only positive is that there are tables and benches outside.

Nice place and friendly staff. We ordered a small and medium breakfast, the medium was bigger than expected. Food was lovely, can't fault it. Really fast service, didn't have to wait long for food. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Most of it not nice. I had chicken curry and the chicken was dry and chewy, very obviously past best. Curry sauce tasted very obviously made of curry powder. My other half had sweet and sour pork and he said it was chewy and tasteless. The fried rice however was quite nice. Quick (a bit suspiciously quick) and friendly though. Won't be back however, disappointing as our favourite Chinese is closed and looking for an alternative.

Takeaway was great and the food was really good. My daughter really enjoyed the Salt & Pepper Chicken. Chicken Fried Rice was also very good as were the chips. Well priced too and easy to order over the phone for collection, and great that they take card payments.

We work all around the country and eat out a lot. It’s really nice to know the best takeaway is in your home town

The worst chinese I've ever had in my life. We spent £137.00 and the only edible items were the chips, crispy pork and the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken szeuchan smelt and tasted awful. The crispy chilli beef was grey, soggy and all together tasteless. The chowmein both chicken and vegetable were soggy and bland. All in all more than 70% of the food was wasted

BEST hot and sour soup I have ever tasted. The meals are very good, very nice. Egg fried rice is excellent. The salt and pepper chips are not the best, and considering you pay for a large, you never really get a large. I only did 1 star service a 1 star as both times we have ordered from here it always taken approximately 2 HOURS to deliver. We only live 4 minutes away, but we are very lazy. It also say FREE crackers 1st time we didn't get any FREE. 2nd time we ended up having to pay for them. But again the food is very nice!

Worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had , the chicken balls must have been cooked the day before and reheated they were so hard they cracked and fell apart and the chicken inside you could sole your shoes with. The rest was totally tasteless

We stayed locally and decided to use this takeaway, I have to say the food is absolutely inedible, full of grease, no flavour the only good point was the curry sauce! I rang up to complain and she said that’s how it’s always cooked…. The lady who served me was lovely that’s why I gave a service of 4 stars. I won’t be using this takeaway again.

First time iv been here. Ordered sweet and sour pork n rice. I was very disappointed with my meal. The batter was overcooked and hard and the pork was just as overcooked and tough to chew. I will try them again with other dishes but their sweet and sour was not the best.

Spent 3 days in Towyn at Pebble Beach had breakfast each morning at Frankie & Claire's & we cannot fault this Cafe, we always visit when we are in Towyn, the very vast menu gives you lots of choice so can build your own brekky which I love to do, the place is spotless the staff are brill very friendly, efficient & accommodating. We also have had the lunch & the desserts & cant fault it, would defo recommend a visit if you are in Towyn and as we had the dogs were able to sit outside with them as it's still under cover. What's not to love. We are looking forward to our next visit, Thanx Clare & staff for looking after us and we hope to see you soon. Carol & Tony x

Went in after the bank holiday weekend. As always was nice,after we went to order we were told no fish. Took time to decide on pie,which we ordered and paid for we were then told no pastry and offered cottage pie,which we didn't want. I understand they'd used extra and were waiting a delivery. I just think they should have said right away,so we could decide if we really wanted that Fish and chips. Which we did.

Such a lovely breakfast. I arrived with a party of around 8 for the first time, including my autistic nephew. He was having one of his days and didn’t want to sit with us, but the staff were so lovely to both us and him. The second time I went with my family whom included 2 young children (1 partially blind who uses a cane) - the staff were so accommodating for us and let the children bring a hot dog from a different stall into the cafe and eat there whilst us adults enjoyed our meal. Staff so lovely and food is brilliant! Will 110% be back thank you🤍

We used here one night while staying locally on holiday. I googled reviews before hand, ignored the 1 hygiene rating, and trusted them reviews. I’m glad we did. Prices were reasonable. However they only had one portion of chicken balls left which I found odd, and we heard the microwave beep way too many times for my liking while waiting for our order. The salt and pepper chicken portion was small, the chicken was a little chewy but tasted lovely. Chicken nuggets edible but again chewy. Sweet and sour chicken was delicious. Chips, boiled rice, fried rice, all lovely. Curry sauce was tasty with a hint of coconut. Plain chow mein was amazing, even my son who usually hates anything with veg in had some and came back for more. Parking area right outside. We would definitely return if in the area again. Just bear in mind it’s cash only, a lot of takeaways are though, but not many of us still carry cash.

Fancied a Chinese takeaway while holidaying in Abergele and searched through Google maps for 'chinese' Had a look at the reviews and decided on this. It didn't disappoint, chicken chow mein, Cantonese style sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice, chicken balls in batter, mini spring rolls and crackers...all top notch! Had it delivered and it was piping hot on arrival. Would visit again if we're back this way.

Food was very poor quality, chips were warm ups, chicken balls with rubbery and tasteless. 3 different meals all looked and tasted the same £50 spent and barely anyone touched it. Avoid at all costs, won't be using again. Overall rating = horrible

The food was fairly priced and well prepared. Friendly front of house staff. It was my 1st experience ordering. I ordered a Plain chow mein, Salt & Pepper Chicken balls, Sweet & Sour chicken balls and a portion of Salt and pepper chips. I didn't eat it all to myself but I did taste some of all of it haha. It was amazing full of flavour and very moreish. The worst thing I would say would be having to share it between 3 of us haha. I will be visiting again for sure.👌🏻🤤🤤🤤👍🏻

Terrible! Cost a small fortune and the chips are cheap frozen take away chips, spring rolls also shop bought frozen rubbish. The gravy has a metallic taste and is just not edible. 5 meals all in the bin within minutes of getting back. Also this place has a hygiene rating of 1, wish I'd have seen this before wasting my money.

Absolutely stunning food. We stayed at Ty Mawr Park Dean Holiday Resorts for a week and we had Chinese 3 times it was that gorgeous!! We had chicken/Singapore chow mien, sweet & sour chicken balls, egg/chicken fried rice and salt & pepper chips. Customer service amazing and staff lovely & chatty. Thank you! Will be back! Nice food, but it’s gone ridiculously expensive. It’s now £40+ for 2 main meals, 2 starters, and some sauces. We ate at a gorgeous Chinese restaurant in Liverpool for £60 and we had a lot more. At least knock off the delivery charge after a certain amount.

Drinks and staff and bar were lovely! Food looked Lovely. My friend an I ordered two meals to share. However when we started eating we realised that both meals had excessive salt. The noodles in particular had so much salt in that we couldn't eat more than one or two fork fulls, it was horrible. After eating what I did manage from the two meals I felt sick from the amount of salt I had consumed. I'm not sensitive to salt in food but this was unbearable. Will definitely avoid in future, was very disappointed.

We have been going to Ty Gwyn for the past three years and always visit The Peacock. The food is amazing, chef Nathan is an excellent chef and the bar atmosphere is great with Jack behind the bar. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Well.. firstly they tried to take my sisters drink away when she had some wine left When she complained they said there wad next to nothing in her glass so gave her a thimbleful of wine.. We then tried to order food.. they claim food can be ordered to 9.pm.. we tried to order at 8.30. For our grandchildren. We were told ..no As much as this place is great.. the customer service is bad

Called in late one night with my son just had a few pints sat outside had a good selection of draught beers bit pricey but not outrageous. Proper chilled out place good atmosphere didn't eat but menu looked good and plenty were eating good for relaxing after a hard day doing nothing

A big group of us had food and drinks and I was really pleasantly surprised with the quality of cooking. I had risotto which was cooked to perfection and was perfectly al dente. Every single dish was really high quality and flavourful, which for the low prices is pretty amazing. Will definitely be going regularly.

Let me tell you Wow!!! Sunday lunch is bloody gorge, we haven't lived in Abergele long but we have managed to try a few eateries, this is one of the friendliest places and the Sunday lunch was 100% spot on. One of those little hidden gems, you will not be disappointed. Booked for next week :)

26/7/25. Just ordered 2 portions of chips from here. Absolutely disgusting. Green pitted bone dry chips cooked in stale fat. The only reason I didn't return these chips for a refund was the half hour queue of unsuspecting holiday making customers that will also be duped into buying this vile fare. How can you possibly justify yourselves in charging £3.75 for a large portion of this swill? You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves.The reality is though,is that you just don't give a damn as you have a never ending supply of customers during the school holidays who are hungry or drunk or both. I will never ever return here because of what you passed off to me today as edible food. Evening my dog turned his snout up at the sight of these chips and believe me,he will eat things that would make a pig vomit. I will now tell anyone who will listen in Towyn never to buy chips from here and will also post this picture on all review sites. Your father,old Mr Knightly would surely be spinning in his grave at what you are selling here. Shame on you.

My farther paid who is a pensioner , Recommending this chipy based on a previous experience and on returning I ordered 2 fish and chip dinners And stepped out side to let others in , I observed customers receiving fresh chips and was given my food in a carrier bag to take home , I opened them Only to find chips that were far from freshly cooked I can only describe as yesterday’s The fish was freshly fried and tasty. I am not local but if I were I don’t think I would have been served these . I did not return then as I did not want my farther to feel disappointed with his recommendation and out of curiosity to him keep quiet . This experience has weighed on my mind and I HAD ! to review .appalling behaviour.

Staff seem to stand about alot like they don't no what they are doing. I've eaten a lot of pizza from many places over the years BUT, I've never, ever had pizza like this. This is hands down THE BEST pizza I've ever had. I also had a large portion of doner meat which quite simply tasted like roast lamb. Anyone who visits this place will not be disappointed. If they say they are, they are just lying. My lad was raving over his pizza and garlic bread, saying he's never had a cheesy garlic bread that tasted so awesome, ever, high praise indeed from a young man who eats fussily and is on "The Spectrum". Beautifully cooked and so quickly we had a phone call before we had time to come and collect our order! Thank you soooooo much. 😘😉

For a quick and filling, delicious and fresh roast dinner, you can't go wrong. We just turned up and ordered but they do prefer if you can call ahead to pre order. I had my partners meat as she is a vegetarian so had a double helping. Thats how good they are there. Parking is just around the corner so not far. We paid £1.10 for an hours parking and the whole family say in car to eat. Which was a first. A defo must visit if you can and dont want to cook. Thanks guys

Amazing little deli hidden behind the row of kiosks. Take a builders' butty shop but get the ingredients from a butcher, add in more meat choices than most carveries, plus pies and pasties, then throw in jacket potatoes, curry, specialty teas and salads for good measure. Yorkshire tea, Heinz ketchup and HP sauce... Best feeding in the area!

This cafe/restaurant has two large indoor rooms and I'm pretty sure one has a bar. The meals are very good sizes and feature real home cooking.in fact you might be followed by the owner to check on service and stuff. It is well staffed by friendly knowledgeable staff. Nothing seems too much bother. I mainly buy bacon rolls which are stuffed full bacon. You can have extra fillings and the food is cooked to order. There is an outside eating area with umbrellas for the hot sunny days. Pensarn seems to be rising in popularity and there is more and more to do and see. I may be biased because I live there although I try to be objective and truthful in my reviews.

Lady at the till was quite pleasant, place was clean and quiet. Food is affordable, service was quick, fish is tasty and well made, meat and potato pie was not tasty at all. I could have done without it, curry sauce and fries.. You can't go wrong with. I kebab was a bit dry but quite tasty.

Been here a few times when in the area. The food is very good and always served hot and quickly, staff are very polite and helpful and the premises are kept very clean both inside and out. There is a good selection on the menu from kebabs, pizzas, chicken and fish to the standard chips and gravy etc. Also a good childrens menu. You do pay a little more but it is expected with it being in a seaside town. Plenty of seating if eating inside.

Absolutely recommend to anyone who goes to rhyl, this was by far the best kebab I have ever had my daughter who is a fussy eater loved there kebab meat and ate it all as thats a rare occasions, clean no Grease good atmosphere staff are friendly. We also got ice cream for my son and the ice cream was delicious as well.

Visited here whilst on holiday at Ty Mawr Parkdean holiday park. We were able to sit inside and the lady on the till was very friendly and was patient whilst I was deciding to order. The prices were reasonable given the size of the portions and the food was all cooked well. We had three teens with us and they were all full after finishing their meal. All in all a good takeaway experience.

No redeeming features I expect better from a North Wales seaside town. The cheapest shop bought oven cooked processed fish chips and gammon, all undercooked, because the rush of 6 overwhelmed the staff of three. Seriously considered abandoning our food as not eating it might have been better. And this cost £20 for two. Avoid.

Benjamins is a charity run organisation that is non profitable and is an amazing place to grab your meal. Amazing place to bring the kids for breakfast dinner or lunch. Nice sized soft play area for children exeptionally clean facilities. Freindly staff. Food is really nice aswell full english for a fiver with unlimited tea... Everywhere is addapted for disabled people elderly and children By far the best place ive eaten in towyn.

The tea rooms are dedicated to the son of the boss who has Autism The staff have the condition or has family members with it All profits are put back into the charity to help persons gain different acheivments to gain qualifications ect I got a breakfast there for £5 and you get free top ups on tea The food was delicious and the staff were always cleaning up and smiling

Booked a peace and pamper package for £89 with a couple of friends. The whole experience was excellent. Lovely lunch with prosecco and a back, neck and shoulder massage also included. Excellent value, very attentive staff and good facilities including restaurant. Would highly recommend this.

We attend a few times per year for dance events. Occasionally we've had a room upgrade to a larger suite, which is spacious, with newly refurbished bathrooms. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Breakfast choice is great. We even managed to make it to the spa last time. Easy to get to and a great venue. My only gripe is that it can be very warm, with radiators on high. Depends on the clientele though, so I understand.

We grabbed a weekend away to recharge our batteries and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Rooms are exceptionally clean and had a lovely feel to them. Facilities are Excellent. Drinks were reasonably priced. Meal at the Brasserie was of an exceptional standard. Compliments to the chef. Atmosphere was lovely. Every single member of staff there went above and beyond and were really friendly. Spa there is great! Discreet wink wink! Excellent venue for couples. Well done done team Kinmel you will see us again! Bravo!

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel's location is peaceful and serene, making it a perfect getaway. All the amenities provided were of high quality, and the highlight was definitely our room – spacious and thoughtfully designed, with two separate beds for the kids, which truly set it apart from other hotels we've stayed in. The only downside was the swimming pool, as the water seemed a bit dirty and could have been better maintained. Overall, a great experience!

Did spa overnight and was very pleased, we had great time. Food was lovely. Spa was nice - it did smell quite chlorine-y, and when booking your slots be aware of the family v adults only time, esp as pool is open to public. Overall we had great time and will be back

Hotel was nice and clean with the rooms and facilities being kept to a good standard. Unfortunately we picked the hotel for the use of the spa to enjoy some peace however after 5 mins in the peaceful environment it quickly turned into a children’s play area. I think the hotel could possibly advise guests of this or maybe offer split times for guests choose. The changing rooms were well stocked however didn’t offer cubicles to change which becomes a problem when parents bring groups of children into the open space changing rooms to change with other adults. Overall the staff did a good job especially with the fact they were obviously stretched due to a wedding at the venue at the same time.

Can’t comment on rooms as have not stayed, but the spa is lovely, nice pool, hot jacuzzi outdoors under canopy link through from the pool, sauna and steam room. Visit often as very reasonable prices for use of spa facilities. Beautiful scenery/location too. Had some bar snacks in bar area after Spa , very nice space.

Disappointing Experience at Jack's Cafe, Towyn I recently visited Jack's Cafe in Towyn, expecting a pleasant meal with my family, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I was served, I knew something was off. My meal arrived cold—not lukewarm, but actually cold. The food tasted as if it had been sitting out for some time, and it was clear it hadn't been prepared fresh. To make matters worse, the customer service was incredibly disappointing. When I politely mentioned the issue to the lady member of staff on the FOH, they seemed at a complete loss, as though they had never handled a complaint before. Rather than offering a solution or apologizing, they just looked confused and did little to address the issue, leaving me feeling ignored and frustrated, I initially asked for a new meal and was met with the response of "I will have to wait to ask the chef" to whom was gone another 5 mins, leaving me sat watching my family eat before I even had a responce to their error. After his, the chefs, return he informed me that I would be getting a refund and not a fresh meal as he said "it would be cooked the same". I reluctantly accepted this as I could now go else where for food. I was then approached by the second of the 2 active staff on duty, female FOH, and asked again, "do you want food or refund" so I said food as I was hungry. I then waited an another 15mins, 30 mins after making the complaint now, to recieve a mediocre burger wrap which left me feeling anxious, disappointed, and intimidated as they would stare at me every other second and then shake thier heads, mostly the chef, like it was somehow my fault I was served cold food. Im not usually one to complain or write a review at all but this was a whole new level of dissapointment. Overall, I left feeling let down. Poor food quality and inadequate service make Jack's Cafe a place I won't be returning to anytime soon.

First impression was lovely. Then when I had my food in my plate it was missing something and when we asked he was were very rude .Fish was frozen not fresh. I would never will have again. And I know my food.its was frozen fish and fries not fish and chips

Had a lovely breakfast to finish off my holiday and honestly it’s one of the nicest breakfasts i’ve ever had. Staff are lovely and even gave me an extra hash brown for free. I would 100% recommend Ma’s kitchen to anyone who asks. Lovely location too. Cant wait to come back for another breakfast.

Proper home cooked Sunday Roast. Turkey was spot on, nice veg, a good sized Yorkshire Pud, tasty gravy & all at a great price too. What's not to love? Friendly staff too which is always good. If you're in town, Ma's kitchen is definitely worth a visit.

This is our second visit here for Sunday roast it was delicious and pudding is like 3/4 star restaurant , great value for money the people who run the place are amazing.

Only wanted cheese, chips and gravy. The chips was swimming in the gravy and that chips was undercooked sent them back and all they done was put them in the microwave they where the same so I asked if I could have skinny chips instead and I got spoken to with attitude and with abuse never recommend eating from here asked if I could have my money back and he went refused. How hard is it to cook chips Reply : This is the portion we were given — only two chips had been taken out before the photo was taken, so claiming otherwise is simply dishonest. You then snatched the box out of my hand and forcefully threw it in the bin, which was petty and completely unnecessary. Your attitude has been aggressive, unprofessional, and downright rude — certainly not how any respectable business should treat its customers.

Absolutely fantastic little gem. This place is awesome, the owners and staff are so friendly. We found this restaurant on our last night of holiday and wished we'd found it sooner. From ordering our food to leaving, we felt cared for, a bit like family. They were so attentive. The food itself was amazing. My lads cleaned their plate. And I pinched some of hubby's pizza, as well as eating my own. Portions were spot on. This was by far the best meal of our hols, they also do breakfast. I can't thank them enough. The 5 stars are well deserved, shame I can't give them 10

Best food in towyn by far! We went for a Sunday roast which was a delicious home cooked roast, the turkey was moist and delicious as was the beef. We then returned a couple of days later to try out the breakfast and were not disappointed. Can't fault the place I'd definitely recommend 👌🏻

We went to Ma's Kitchen for breakfast and it was beautiful, the owners and staff couldn't do enough for you they was so accommodating to all our needs. My husband said they was the best sausages he has had in a long time. Will definitely be returning. Thanks again guys!

Was told half hour wait on food, which was OK, after 1hour we had to ask how long for our sandwiches, waited another 20 mins and having to ask again plus we watched others coming in ordering and receiving there meals. Not even an apology. This place really lets Knightlys down.

Shockingly slow service despite it not being that busy. Table and high chair wasn't clean. Lady serving wasn't that friendly. Food was horrible, undercooked and greasy. Found out it was a lot cheaper for the same food just down the road.

Awful, definitely avoid, and go to the chip shop across the road or literally ANYWHERE else. Staff were terrible, we sat for nearly an hour before calling it quits as we hadn't even got our drinks, never mind food! (Drinks were just water and a milkshake). Half our party stayed for food, and they said it was all disgusting, quite clearly just microwave food. Also, we found out about fifteen minutes after ordering and paying that they didn't even have multiple things we had ordered, so we had to opt for things we didn't even want! The girl on till was turning everyone away after us and had literally zero manners while doing so, just muttering and saying we are not taking more orders with no apology or explanation. To call the Atmosphere dead would be generous, we were the only people there and had to sit listening to the whiney waitress turning everyone away. We got a refund in the end as did others, to say we were angry is an understatement. However, the chip shop across the road was absolutely lovely and slightly made up for the car crash that is Lords Kitchen, or as it should be more appropriately called Peasants Kitchen.

I would not risk eating here, chicken was still pink, they clam on the menu "10" HOMEMADE pizza" and charge you £9.50 but when you look in the kitvhen there is stacks of ALDI £2,25 Carlos pizzas, absoulute joke, food is disgusting, tables are sticky and disgusting, im suprised we never got sick, would definatly not eat here again, paid £50 for ALDI food, pleace needs to be investigated by trading standards and enviromental health

Poor at best, we have literally just finished our food from here. Expensive and really poor. We had a very basic order that took 15 minutes to arrive and the shop was empty. The food itself was garabage. Some who the chips were a mix of over cooked and under cooked. As others have mentioned i think some stuff was thrown in an re fried. Lots of chips bith black bits through out. The chips i had were just a tastless greasy mess, the fish my wife had was almost white and flavourless. For me i just dont get how you can have a business and turn this garbage out, this food isnt hard to make well. Have a bit of pride in what your doing.

Had a portion of doner meat and chicken curry and chios, never again. The doner meat was stale as if reheated after a few days the chicken curry tasted vinegary and sour, to top it all i have been ill all day!

I like to visit milos diner when i stay at the caravan site and this time, i had a bad experience. I went to the diner and ordered two battered sausages, at first she tried to rip me off with 50p, and then handed me the sausages. I soon arrived to my caravan and opened my sausages ready to eat, i opened the paper to find a long bug with small legs stuck to my sausage with a wing along side, i went back to the diner and she looked suprised to see us again. I told her the issue, and she tried to say it had fell off a sausage or out the food walmer. Unhigenic!

Ordered a chicken burger and salt & pepper chips. The chicken tasted like fish and the salt & pepper chips were undercooked, not seasoned and the veg wasn't even chopped properly. 2/5...only because the order was correct and the right salad was on my burger.

Have really struggled to find a decent chicken place since moving to wales coming from Manchester/ Hyde we was very spoiled for choice. First time here tonight off recommendation on fb and you didn’t disappoint children was spot on not used to chippy chips with chicken they was good to but would have preferred fries but will be definitely back 👍🏼

Workers seem to leer at most women who come in the shop, awkward/unnerving atmosphere, wouldnt ever let my Mrs go by herself, food is mediocre and meat is poor quality, found a piece of bone in my burger. not worth the rudeness and staring, spend more time making people uncomfortable flirting than making food, its been like this last few times i've been. fix up 🤮

Ordered a chicken zinger burger, chips, and a banana milkshake. Now, I know takeaways can be hit or miss, but wow—this one didn’t even swing. What arrived was a half-frozen piece of Asda’s finest, wedged between two buns that felt one chemical away from being plastic. No sauce, no lettuce, just a dry, soul-crushing journey through the Sahara. I guess ‘The Ark’ is meant to reference a flood… of flavour and moisture. Too bad they must’ve missed the boat on that one. The chips? Pure rubber. If I wanted a workout for my jaw, I’d have chewed my own shoelaces. And the milkshake? Let’s just say It had me reminiscing of my time in kids’ club when they handed me a Yazoo. A Yazoo! The only redeeming factor? They slapped it all together quickly, so at least the disappointment arrived in record time. Unless you’re after a good laugh at your own expense, do yourself a favor—order elsewhere.

Be wary, staff make advances on young girls, asking for id/phone numbers and then acting as if its a joke. Disgusting, wont be long before someone files a sexual harrassment claim. To the short guy with beard: seek god.

Delicious food and pleasant staff. The place is rustic decorated, very clean, quiet and is great if you are on your own or with friends/family/kids. The food is fresh, homemade and the chef really has attention for details.
