Good local restaurant. Fresh fish, abundant portions. Very busy so booking is recommended. The electricity went during our lunch so we basically had our meal in complete darkness. Certainly not the restaurant’s fault, but no efforts were made to bring candles to the tables and no one mentioned anything or apologized for the inconvenience. Strange. But the food was good.

A nice local restaurant in the heart of Lerici. It’s like entering in a cave, thick walls and no windows. The food was good, served fresh and quick. They even have gluten free bread. The appetizer with 8 samples of seafood was really good. I enjoyed it a lot. The service was also commendable, polite and friendly waiters. Also the dessert was done nicely.

For a tourist walking alone in this small seaside town, it is an incredible miracle to have found this little restaurant tucked away from the main piazza. It is the only eatery opened along the tiny lane on a lazy Monday afternoon and yet the food is so good I can cry! Super happy. So kind to explain in English and even to offer their menu in English. First one I’ve seen thus far. Super GRAZIE, chef and steward. ❤️

The food was very good, we got a table in a separated room close to the kitchen, so we didn't have the full atmosphere of the restaurant,but was nice that was quite. To park you have to park outside of the city, which is 15 minutes walk.

Being a foodie it what you expect from an Italian restaurant- family owned and every course was to die for - the local wine was amazing - Anchovies aren’t special day followed by custard pie with hot chocolate sauce of the chart ! Don’t eat in the square it’s a tourist trap with sun standard food !

Lovely little restaurant on a narrow alley just a block or so from the waterfront, so out of the heat and glare. Started with a little roast fish with caramelized pickled onions then proceeded to a simply fabulous fresh seafood risotto, tender, aromatic and unctuous. We have eaten very well in Italy, but this was the best yet. We didn't have room for dessert, but our neighbors' looked scrumptious. Liked Lirici and Il Frantoio so much that we returned the next day for more. This time had the green pasta with seafood and the frito misto and managed to make room for a panna cotta. All again fabulous.

Food and atmosphere was perfection. My sisters and I came two nights in a row. The chef personally brings you his creations and checks in throughout the meal. If you're looking for a quiet evening in a low key spot with delicious food and wine, stop by!

Food was amazing. Got the chefs pasta and octopus, octopus was the most tender I've ever had with a lovely rich gravy, and a spectacular sauce to go with the veg. Partner had the pork ribs and omg they were good. The house wine was delicious too. Finished with a creamy light and delicious tiramisou for one of the best meals I've had in Italy. Good food for good prices, worth it.

We booked this restaurant based on its reviews. We sent a request for a dinner for two via WhatsApp, and the confirmation arrived within 12 hours. The place is very cozy and welcoming. Fantastic place to eat in Lerici and lovely lady waiting tables can speak in like five languages! Impressive and charming

One of the best truffle pastas dishes I’ve ever had! Went back a second time and it was even better. Atmosphere is great and intimate as you can watch the chef cook while eating your dinner. Limited seating but that’s what makes it great. Also had homemade focaccia and pesto on the house accompanied by a free glass of Prosecco.

The price and the location was good, however we were disappointed by the food and service. The Lasagna did not taste freshly made, more like the frozen one and the waiter was quite stressed and a bit rude… that being said you can’t expect too much from a 10€ meal

We love this place! I give less than five stars for the Service because even the manager personally allowed two of us to take a table for 4 (it wasn't busy, and we asked for that one, closest to the sea view), two waiters tried to "reseat us" to a smaller table in few minutes, and they were not very polite. And it happened twice in one week. All got sorted out, though. About the Atmosphere. The lunchtime setting is excellent, but the bright blue light inside the beautiful glass pavilion of the main dining hall could be more welcoming, relaxing, and cosy in the evening. It takes from the glow of the long twilight above the harbour (this restaurant has a perfect view of it!) and gives a headache and eye irritation. Within the circle of local friends, we call it the "interrogation pavilion" for its bright, uncomfortably blue light inside at dark times of the day. We go there only for lunches or reserve tables outside on a promenade in the summer. If the light were more comfortable and romantic - (warm tone lights on the table - candle-like?) and overhead bright blue would be dimmed or of the warmer tone, we would often be coming for dinners, as the food is great there! 🙏 please :)

The lasagna was not freshly made, tasted like I was bought it in supermarket and warmed up in microwave. Also we tried the plate with local snacks and it was also nothing special.

Worst seafood we had in Tuscany. If I get a good food with good quality, I don't mind to pay a bit more. Buy the €30 for a grilled mixed fish plate and some tiny little grilled zucchini is too much. The fish and the vegetables also tasted like nothing and the texture of the fish was disgusting. I also had a hair on my plate... My recommendation: Enjoy the view of the sea and then go to one of the little restaurants in the side streets. Sorry but totally overpriced. The one star is only assigned for the sea view.

Seafood pasta was delicious and service was great. Lovely spot on the sea front. Just a shame the toilet is a hole in the ground - not very child friendly!

The amount of food would be more. Taste was ok.

The prices were high, the squid was rubbery, and the vegetables were served cold. There was a noticeable smell of alcohol coming from the waitress. However, the tuna was tasty.

We've arrived around about 12.30pm. They've taken the order and have brought the first plate (primo piatto) very late. Some other customers have received their meals before us (they had arrived a long time after we did). The only thing which has arrived "fast" was the bill. After paying 111€ we had to take something else somewhere else. We've ordered 3x grilled patatoes dishes... Only one has been brought. Anyway.. we won't NEVER come back there.

Great restaurant with fantastic seafood. We find this restaurant by google maps and the very good reviews, so that’s why we give it a try and it was all worth. A complete menu include good house wine for just € 45. And not only the food, but also the service and atmosphere with a great panoramic view will a visit be worth. Doing your reservation on time, otherwise you will miss this fantastic restaurant.

I recently dined at this amazing seafood Italian restaurant and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu was filled with a variety of fresh seafood dishes that were expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. That was a fixed menu and it was square menu. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Amazing service and delicious food. Our waiter Gian was very attentive and gave us all the information and time we needed. Payed 40€ for the whole menu. Antipasti, primi, secondi, and dessert - wine and coffe included. The food was excellent and full of variety. Book a table in advance and check maps thorroughly before attempting to drive up there! May be a little confusing.

The best seafood dinner I have had in my life, without any doubt. Our fantastic waiter had been extremely attentive and explained everything in English, letting us know every moment that we are being taken care of. Antipasti was varied with 8 types of refined seafood variations. First and second main course were a gustatory delight, too, and so was the dessert. For main dishes, dessert, coffee and aperitif we could each choose frome a well chosen selection, with some variation without there being overwhelmingly many options to choose from. On top of this, we also had sea view and could enjoy the evening landscape of the magnificent Golfo dei Poeti. For the price they charge we received an absolutely fabulous Easter dinner that was above and beyond our expectations. Grazie Mille!

We arrived at this place by mistake 😀, If you like seafood this is your place, they have nice options for seafood lovers. The place is cozy, taking care of every detail, the glasses are different, and the plates and de way that they serve the food are all an experience.

We had the best lunch here, the food was amazing and the service was excellent we were catered too amazingly the owner is so friendly! One of our favourite meals in lerici everything we ate was delicious and fresh from the bread, welcome snack, meal and wine❤️we got the lobster parchetti & the seafood risotto which were Devine and a tirimasu & salted caramel cheesecake for dessert which were gorgeous. The local wines we were recommended too were great.

I spend 2-3 months each summer in this area, so I’ve been to a lot of places around & most of them are not good. This restaurant is amazing! Really good! I think one of the best here in Lerici. A bit more expensive than average, but the quality is worth it. I was a bit surprised by 10€ for a glass of wine, which is way above average in the area (5-6€), but I guess you pay a bit extra for the premium place. Next time just take a bottle & not a glass 😉

Had an incredible Carbonara al Mare followed by a Delicious tuna. The Berlucchi 61 rose was dry and crisp. Would definitely go back!

The food is great, but the service isn’t. It seems that the waitresses are always in a rush, so much that they can’t stand still for one second and hear you explain what food you want. They seem to always run off before you finish your sentence. I only saw 3-4 waitresses while the tables were stacked with people. I got the hamburger but it came without buns, I have no idea if it was intentional or not, but the meat was good. The pizza, lasagna, burger and focaccia are all very good. The food came out fast, but not all of it. We were 5 but only 3 of us got our main courses and we had to wait a while for the rest of the food to come

1 hour waiting at the table, rude waitress, terrible "gran frittura del golfo" which was basically 80% of rubbery squids, super expensive wine...in summary a big disappointment. Lerici deserves more than this for its visitors!

We were a party of 3. Reasked for the same drink twice. Waitresses were more interested In cleaning tables than serving. When we were eventually served two main meals and sides were brought out along with my side. Waited about 15minutes for my swordfish to be served . The swordfish was very dry and overcooked. The other2 asked for medium rare steaks and they were well done. This was the worse restaurant we ate in all holiday. Would definitely not recommend.

I had pasta spaghetti Bolognese for entree, so as a starter. Pasta was like a hobo, just pasta, nothing more nothing less. At first my girlfriend got the wrong dish. After a hard discussion with the waiter he gave us the right dish, ravioli bolognese. Which was very nice. When I asked for the toilet the man with grey hair and white t-shirt shouted something italian. Like he was telling me I was stupid. This is a good place for kids.

Pizza - 👎🏻. Really don’t even try. Staff - trying to be friendly, but not professional. Vine - 👍🏻 because of owning a vine shop. Prices - 💸 to high for what they offer.

We had a delicious family meal and enjoyed the afternoon on the terrace. We can definitely recommend the polvo a la diavolo, tender and slightly spicy in the finish. The perfect choice for a light meal.

According to some good reviews here, we expected a delicipus dinner experience, but last night was only so-so. The first courses were ok, The second courses were okay too, but something was missing: no salt in fish, so attitude on service (the waiter did not ask a single time if everything was okay) and the local wine recommended by the waiter .... hmmm, next time we choose another place. The interior was beautiful tough!

I've ordered one main dish and a glass of wine. The waiter made very "surprised" grimace when I said that I don't need water. After waiting some time the waiter came back and said that I had to leave the place or to order the second dish. It sounds like a joke. That's very poor service and I don't recommend this place for anyone.

We had dinner at Trattoria Ligure L’Ancora in Lerici and were very satisfied overall. The spaghetti with clams was full of flavor, and the sea bass was perfectly cooked, served with fresh vegetables and crispy roasted potatoes. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. Even though the restaurant is not directly on the waterfront, the view over the bay was still stunning — especially at sunset, which created a truly memorable backdrop for the meal. The only downside was the noise level, as there were quite a few families with children, making it a bit lively at times. However, this didn’t ruin the experience. Conclusion: A solid choice if you’re looking for good seafood, warm service, and a beautiful sunset view — even without a front-row seat to the sea. 4 out of 5 stars.

Lerici is a pretty little town. And this restaurant here is on the main square, right in the heart of it. A nice place to grab a drink, some food and watch the world go by. We didn't plan on having lunch, but food looked good and the kitchen was still open, so we ordered a little something to eat. Had the fried seafood and the stuffed mussels. Both excellent dishes. The seafood was perfectly cooked and really fresh. Nice mix of anchovies, shrimp, calamari and zucchini. The stuffed mussels very fresh as well. A great item, not easy to find. Staff was friendly and fast, prices really fair, a lot lower than one might expect from a popular town like this. And our Bulldog was welcome as well. All in all a nice restaurant on a prime location. Other food looked tasty too. Surely a place to come back to.

Food is great and solid, very traditional ligurian. Custom requests easily accommodated, and dishes explained and suggested. Give 4 for the atmosphere: We had to move from the covered patio to the inside of the restaurant due to the gas fumes in the enclosed patio. I felt unwell afterward, I had to take most of my food "to go." Next time, we just requested sitting inside right away. Enjoyed food and a restaurant attraction - the red cat. Which comes in, walks around, then reclines on the top of a hostess table on the massive "bookings book." Bossy cute little thing:). Adds to atmosphere, much better than a gas fumes :).

Stayed in Lerici for 4 nights and this restaurant was busy every night when we walked past. We tried it on our last night and glad we did. Managed to get a late table and staff were lovely, very busy and rushing around! I started with the anchovies and then the bass my husband had lasagne then fritto misto all was really good. Lots of choice. Would recommend. Had carif of wine too and puddings.

Quite and cosy little restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. The food was great, lots of fantastic seafood. There are some limited but very tasty non-seafood options. The wine selection was good, with good local options. Overall lovely place would visit again

What an amazing dinner! We started with the fried shrimp balls, and then shared the cheese linguine, pasta with mussels ragout and the pesto linguine. Each dish had a great flavor and the ambiance was top notch. They even have a small starter compliments of the chef.

An unexpected lunch on the sea… with a stunning view. Went to the restaurant on the 23rd of December. Randomly walked the other side of a tunnel, from Lerici harbour. We ended-up in a a restaurant all for us, since no other clients were there (pretty cold temperature, but lovely to be in the sun… on the terrace). We ended up having an unexpected lunch with a mixed fried fish, crispy and tasty), grilled shrimps and grilled squid (a bit chewy). We ended with a crème brûlée and a coffee. All in all a good lunch, with an amazing atmosphere. Venue, at the sea level just below the Lerici Castle, is very unique. You can eat just in in one of the plenty tables in front of the sea with a a super view on the Golfo dei Poeti.

Delicious small plates, I’ve tried mussels with lemon and parsley, and friend of mine fritto misto and I might say, that it was gorgeous! Prosecco served in appropriate glass, and he gorgeous view as a cherry on top!

We had the most wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The food, service and views were excellent. We had the octopus, the pan cooked sole, the pesto pasta and tiramisu for dessert and everything was so so good!! It’s also the best place to watch the sunset and the service was great. It’s an absolute must go!

Prices were high and the food was mediocre at best. Tried the Pesto, the crab dish, grilled fish, the fish in garlic sauce, octopus, a raw fish dish, and monkfish. Figured with a large enough group getting a large enough variety, we'd enjoy something. Nope. None of it was worth the cost. The service was good, the server spoke enough English. Wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money.

Contracted very severe foodpoisoning at this establishment. They served seafood platters, must have been the culprit as I was throwing up all night after this dinner. Obviously wouldn’t recommend going. Also the waiter had a foul body odor and was drinking wine during the whole service. His assistent (a younger guy) was friendly but had obviously never opened a bottle of wine in his life. Steer clear for this unhygienic tourist trap! Just avoid cinque terre entirely

Excellent service but unfortunately the food left quite a bit to be desired. A "lobster, shrimp, langoustine" plate for 35 Euro had just lobster heads and one shrimp. On the positive side they made pasta fr the kids for only 4 Euro. The position by the sea is lovely and the sunset is great. OK wine-list.

Was recommended to this place from the hotel staff with a 15% discount coupon. I usually don’t listen to this kind of recommendations. In this case again I should I follow my instinct. The plaza in lerici port is full of average quality restaurants, they one is not an exception. The food was just ok and that night without brise it got really hot under the tent. They also have wine only at the bottle, thought it was pushing to consume more. The plaza is nice tho, with live music and entertainment, and the walk on the sea side is beautiful. Try another place.

It seems like everything is edible, but to get pleasure, then no. The tuna was not cooked properly and had too much oil and seafood the shrimp in the seafood were also not very good. Only the pickled onions and black bread were tasty.

DO NOT RECOMMEND Sent table reservation over email and did follow up day before, no answer. Came in as walk in customer and sat down, only one red wine available from six on the menu, tasted and didnt like it. They find another bottle, paid 43e for it, left and went another place 200m away. Had a dinner for two for 200e, nice wines and good food there....

The cuisine was fabulous. We dined on Peppered Mussels, Sea Bass, and Linguine with Lobster (it was a full half of Lobster served with shell cracker tool and pick). Red wine was lovely and smooth taste. Tiramisu was heavenly. Cappuccino very nice. Table cloths, linens, service was great. The view of the harbor was the best! We loved every moment. This dinning experience was one of the worst we had in Italy. Worst customer service. Never order steak at this restaurant. One of our friends is allergic to seafood, thus ordered a Fiorentina steak. The waitress asked us for the cookness level of the steak and we opted for medium. To our biggest surprise, the steak was served far from medium cookness, it was rare and with some areas totally blue! We mentioned the above to the staff, who we believe was in charge on that night, and without any apologies or mentioning anything, he took the plate and walked with haste to the kitchen. We had no idea what was going on and he came back with the plate but the steak was still rare. We thus complained again to him, but this time he mumbled something in Italian, and walked away to then shouting to his coworker in italian who then came to our table to explain that the steak would never become cooked medium as the bone was too big. We didn't know that they were incapable to cook it to medium, had we have known, we wouldn't have ordered it. They didn't offer any replacement meal nor deducted the amount for the steak. This was shameless from them and we aught to never go back there again.

My wife and I had a Saturday night dinner here this past Sepetember.Not our first time in Lerici but our first time here.Had a reservation and was seated at a wonderful table.Mostly downhill from there.For such a lovely restaurant in a prime location the wait staff is uninformed and not rude but uninterested once your order is placed.Our bottle of wine was properly served and chilled then the staff disappeared.the long wait for first course was more than 45 minutes.All in all the food was great though the Orata sea bream in salt baked crust was improperly served.My two courses were served before my wife had her first.Oh well I'll be back in Lerici in August maybe I'll give it another try.

Salmon tartare was flavorless, pasta alle vongole had a lot of sand , like every bite a lot. My husband got the pre fix and we thought they forgot to bring the last course it was such a long gap. Not even standard Italian enjoy your meal gap, it was a they forgot us gap. Honestly not sure why it has such good reviews. I am from NYC and visit Italy annually. I am super picky about good food so please trust me, this ain’t it.

Firstly the old waiter tried to force sell 43 euro meal deal. We asked for menu 3 times and told there was no menu. On fourth request menu provided and deal was actually 40euro. Ordered 3 fish dinners and antipasta.. They supplied only one fish for 3 of us on one plate with some salad. Not a fillet of fish and salad each which and they charged 45 euros for. They provided wine without asking, fair enough we drink wine so no issue there.They were dishonest and tried force sell a meal deal not wanted and lied about having no menu. It is best to avoid them if you are a tourist and your Italian is poor. The food was ok but not anything special. Best to avoid.

I don’t say this often but this restaurant was just perfect. From the awesome view, the kind staff and last not least the excellent food and wine. We enjoyed a seaside view dinner with extremely yummy seafood pastas ( myself the gnocchi with scampi , my girlfriend the pasta alla vongole) and we were just blown away. Definitely recommend to all visiting Lerici.

We visited this place last Tuesday, without reservatiom. It was very pleasant, the service was fast, the food was delicious, we hade poplo, anchovies, vongole and a chocolate flan, they were all great. Then we came back on Sunday, we had a reservation though we were late (15 min) as it was difficult to get a parking place. We had to wait another 15 min just to get a table. Thethought we got a good one on the sun. As it was a nice, sunny day plus there was also some market, too many people arrived to the town. We ordered the tourist menu (for 2 persons only) as we thought it will be faster. We were wrong. The kitchen was obviously overwhelmed and they were also understaffed. People had to wait a lot. But they tried. We were sitting there 2.5 hours. The mare antipasti was great, the mare spaghetti was forgettable, the fritto misto was nice but the quantity was too small. The lesson: forget the weekends or be prepared for long waiting and the crowd. For the restaurant, you should do better.

The place is open till 2:30 for lunch, yey, we just made it! And...The food was great! It felt more like a special meal due to the food quality than just a quick bite for lunch. Nicely prepared with just enough salt, oil, and cooking time. Servings are exactly manageable. Highly recommend this place!

The view just made the dining experience even more delicious. We ordered the tourists menu at 35 euros pp it includes 6 courses. There is also a 25 euro pp that includes 3 courses. First, is the antipastos consisting of 3 different options, secondly, a fritto misto (fried fish, calamari and octopus). Thirdly, a seafood pasta. After, I honestly lost count. The menu includes a choice of red or white wine. Dessert, coffee and a lemon sorbet and lastly a grappa which we turned down because it was late and we were stuffed.

It's not that this is a "bad" restaurant but in my opinion an overrated restaurant that people do not visit for the food but because it suggests that it is a place for the upper class society. The food was good but not exceptional. The service was absolutely terrible. We were kept waiting forever. At other tables, however, which were loud, rich, cigar-smoking, and conspicuous, the service staff bustled around every minute. For us it was definitely more show than substance. We would not come back again.

1918 is one of the best ristorante in the piazza. The food is incredible and if you are lucky enough to be served by Valerica or Sarah they will make your experience.

Best restaurant! The food, service, and interactions with all of the staff was great. Our family of 5 (kids ages 9,11,13) shared appetizers, meals, and desserts. The kids tried (and loved) everything. The secret 2nd floor garden was a great surprise.

We had a lovely dinner here on a quiet Tuesday evening. Passionate and friendly staff – we got excellent wine recommendations by the maître d’. The octopus ragu and the ravioli with crab were spectacular. Absolutely worth a visit, especially if you want a slightly more relaxed setting than you will get down in the harbor.

Great location in a quite and private garden. All staff cuddles you during all meal. Great selection of wine and the tagliolini all astice were amazing,worth to order.

The terrace is a hidden gem, you need to enter the restaurant and go in the back until you reach the stairs to the terrace. And then, it unfolds: a large and nice terrace, with natural shadow. Vasi, the gentleman who assisted us with the food was nice and funny, he made great food recommendations. We chose the local troffi al pesto, seafood pasta, a refreshing cold vermencino frizzante, millefeuille and some signature crumble & yogurt for dessert - all delicious.

It started going downhill when we were seated cramped by the cash register because the window area was occupied by the large tray collecting water dripping from the air conditioner. We wanted to share some antipasti, but were not allowed to do this, we had to have one per person. Weird, so we ended up not ordering any. «You must have five». The pasta with zucchini and zucchini flowers didn’t have a lot of zucchini. The fritto mare had no sauce or dressing, it was exclusively fried fish and shrimp, shells and bones and all. The octopus was decent. We left to have gelato at the lovely gelateria in the harbor for dessert.

They charge a big tip themselves. you only find out when you pay. The tip was 1/4 of the cost. We were supposed to pay 32 euros and we paid 40 euros. I do not recommend this restaurant, they rip people off. The teramisu had nothing to do with real teramisu at all - no coffee flavour, it was just a low cake 4 mm with a cream of bad taste (like rotten herbs) 6 mm. Terrible.

Yesterday evening We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We had to wait over an hour for our food, along with many other tables around us. We were at table 26, and the guests at table 25 even left without eating due to the long wait - in hindsight, we should have done the same. Unfortunately, we had a small child with us, which made the situation even more difficult. In our opinion, the main issue is that the restaurant tries to serve too many tables without having the kitchen staff or capacity to handle it. The service was overwhelmed, and the wait was simply unacceptable. If negative stars were possible, this place would definitely have earned them.

Die Speisen schmeckten allesamt gut. Die Portionsgrößen waren aber im Verhältnis zum Preis winzig. Es ist unmöglich, bei einer 15-20 Euro teuren Speise satt zu werden. Man muss mindestens 2, eher 3 Portionen bestellen. Also bezahlt man pro Person locker 40-50 Euro für eine Erwachsenenperson. Zwischen kam der unangenehme Kellner wieder und fragte erneut irgendwas auf Englisch. Meine erneute Bitte, kein englisch zu sprechen, bestrafte er mit bösen Blicken. (Es war ein dicklicher lockiger Jugendlicher). Aufgrunddessen bestellten wir nur 4 Portionen. Dennoch wurde uns 7x coperto a 2 Euro abgerechnet. Wie dreist kann man sein? 14 Euro coperto, obwohl gar nicht richtig bedient wird? Selten haben wir uns so unwohl gefühlt. Den einen Stern gibt es dafür, dass die Speise wenigstens geschmeckt hat.

Stopped by to have a quick lunch, with a view. The restaurant is in front of the bay port area so its in a beautiful area of the town. Staff was kind and helpful. The food was okay but the portion sizes were very small, it wasnt filling. The focaccia bread that you get before your meal was the highlight for me.

My sister and I stopped in for a drink and a snack. We ordered Prosecco and it tasted terrible. We have been drinking Prosecco daily for about a week here in Italy so it was much different than every other Prosecco we've had. The fries were good and the staff was friendly otherwise

Perhaps the only advantage of this place is the poets gulf overview. We came by to get some coffees by the evening. That was acceptable. Also we ordered some biscuits and a cheese w/ prosciutto bruschetta, which was very tasty and it's size was quite good tho. The service indeed was perhaps a bit rude as everyone said. The atmosphere was ok, but it is a pity that they don't have a good control of the doves and seagulls which attempt all the time to steal your food.

Our first pizza experience this trip. Were there a quarter hour earlier, standing at the door & told they only open at 7pm. So we waited, but kept seeing locals just walk in & seated. Finally got in for a table, was a challenge to get anyone to give us menu & take order. Thankfully, the pizzas didn’t need that long to be served. Was expecting a lot better for Italian standard, but it was average, not wow. They definitely need better knives for slicing pizzas. After exiting the restaurant, we then realized they have a large sitting area at the piazza, it was no wonder the staff are going in & out serving customers inside & bringing orders outside. So please be gentle with them. Update: we went back days later to try out. This time no waiting was needed & we were the first table. Pizza was superb, way better than the last time. But it took a very long time for the coffee to finally arrive, given that it’s a Saturday evening.

Pricey pizza and very low quality, fewer options for vegetarians, ordered to take away as the place was boiling. The pizza was overdone despite liking it well done, this one was well overdone and tasted burnt. Will never go back again and wouldn't want people to pay €30 for such low quality.

Simple but simply delicious. After a week eating pizza and pasta we were pleased to find a place with a bit of fish/sea food taste. Very good service, very delicious meals and very friendly staff. Easy with kids as they can burn some energy running around while you enjoy a nice glass of wine with your pasta. Highly recommended.

My favourite restaurant in the heart of Lerici very good sea food menu have been going there for years always beautifully prepared delicious food well priced I'm never disappointed! Dogs welcome. The owner has two beautifully behaved dogs. Friendly service.

Spaghetti was nice, mixed fried seafood a bit dry, Service was so so. One of the waitresses looked as if she was pressured to clean the table when we asked to sit outside. The other one was very friendly and open minded. Nice spot to sit, less pricy than other options. Visit was satisfying but nothing special.

Tucked away in a back alley. Looked very traditional and clean. We stopped in for dinner following a day on the beach and should have dressed a little better. The attitude from the waiting staff was rude, on realising we were English they openly spoke in Italian about us in a derogatory manner and then realised when taking the food order that we spoke fluent Italian and scuttled away in embarrassment. Big shame really as the food was above average and the kitchen staff really put some effort into the food taste and presentation plus a good still house white. Just shame about the unprofessional waiting staff. Wouldn't return. 😔

This restaurant has a beautiful outside location right on the boardwalk in Lerici. The view is spectacular towards San Terenzo and Porto Venere on the other side of the bay. The food is good, especially the seafood pasta. The service is also good. I would absolutely recommend En Tragia to anyone going to lerici.

The worst of the worst. They claim to be World a championship winning pizza makers but are not even kebab shop quality. My pizza took 90 minutes and was raw in the middle (burnt outside). I would give them a minus rating they were so bad. Terrible atmosphere, ingredients, food and rude staff. Avoid like the plague as the WORST place I have ever eaten at. Horrible!!

When we first entered the restaurant, we thought it would be a traditional Italien restaurant. But we quickly realised, that it wasn’t that good as we thought. Firstly, we ordered some to drink and the glasses were full of dirt. We ordered some new but we got the same dirty glasses. Later on we as a group ordered some salads.. another nightmare the salad was as well full of dirt, it was like compost.. the server had no understanding about our complaining and he was kinda pissed that we complained about the food. As the main dishes were ready (after one hour) they were not as we ordered.. two out of six were wrong.. I would definitely not recommend this place because in my opinion it’s kind of scam and not that good.

Really the best pizza ever! Especially La Gerla one. We even came again next day. Serving was fast, service overall very pleasant. A wide range of choice of different pizzas. The next day we were struggling to find place at the port or at the square because they all look overpriced and decided to come back to La Gerla, and they even proposed us the place at the square with a port view. Also Aperol the best! Because it was literally Aperol and little ice, they dont trick you like others by putting only ice. A very good job!

We dined at La Piola Lerici on our last night in Lerici and it was fantastic! We had anchovies to start, delicious pastas for main and a chocolate dessert. The food was all homemade, delicious and excellent value for money and we had great service. Thanks for a great last night dinner. Would highly recommend.

This place is everything you are looking for in Lerici! The staff was friendly, the food was amazing, and it is off the main square which is a bonus for noise and foot traffic (also in the shade and out of the heat if you go in the summer). Had no reservation and the accommodated us immediately. This is a must go if you travel to Lerici! Thank me later

My girlfriend and I had dinner there 1 week ago and the overall experience was extremely good. Location is picturesque and food delicious. Even the environment music was spot on ( a playlist made from a selection of Mina's song). I personally believe this restaurant is not miles away from deserving a mention in the Michelin Guide. Only thing worth improving could be the time needed to be served, which is a bit long, given that the whole restaurant is run by only two people (the cook and a waiter). But if you are not in a rush, this place deserves a visit.

The location by the water was beautiful and the staff were friendly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The bread served at the start was extremely dry, as if it had been left out for days. The entrecote was mostly fat and lacked any real flavor, while the fries were greasy and resembled those from a fast-food chain. The shrimp pasta was average at best, with a very minimal amount of shrimp. To make matters worse, our two main dishes arrived almost 10 minutes apart. Sadly, we wouldn't recommend this place.

Me and my wife had our amazing dinner here. We ordered the tagliatelle lobster and the grilled steak beef and they just hit the spot. Also ask for the fish of the day that is baked in salt and you will thank me for the recommendation. Ditch the pizza place next door that seems to have more reviews. Instead treat yourself to amazing flavors by the water. The staff is extremely nice and super attentive!

Dont do it! All the good reviews are fake. Service very unfriendly - 3 people of the group became their food 20 min later than the rest and it was just salad for them. Very expensive. We didnt get for every person a glas and needed to drink from the coke bottle. The meat chicken was frozen and ready to cook purchased and just done be fryer. I ask for a bill 30 mintues until i went in to say it again. The highlite - i went inside to pay the bill than a big dog came out of the kitchen and its comply normal.

Disappointing food, pasta is somewhat tasteless, pizza is not better than that you buy from a supermarket freezer. Value for money is not good and this cannot be compensated by the friendly smiles of staff at all.

I love this restaurant, always friendly staff and good wine choices. I cannot eat bi-valves which is often the standard offer with seafood pasta at other seafood restaurants. Here they offer fish ravioli, gnocchetti with shrimp, so always delicious options of something different. We shared a fried mixed seafood platter, perfect size for sharing.

Food is good, especially the mussels are super fresh, we have frittura calamaro and Gambari are so delicious!! And my mother had Paccheri with Amatrianno Tonno, yummy! Service is good and staff are friendly and very helpful. And the prices are very reasonable. Surely, we will come back!!!!

This is one of the best restaurants we have been to. We were here twice, the first time we had the pasta dishes, the second time we had the 8 course dinner, it was an incredible food experience. Very good pizza. With different kinds of bottoms. Black dough, or with rice and ofcourse normal. A pizza is around 10 Euro. There is one waitress who speaks English very well. The other don't. And that makes that sometimes they try to avoid you.

Normally San Terenzo is know for its gelato. As they have the best place in the whole Golfo De Poeti, but this restaurant changed my mind. Very tasty food and friendly staff. Presentation of dishes were worth a picture. And in general the atmosphere was quite authentic. Outside of touristic buzz, you can really focus on flavours, colours and smells! Well worth a visit.

I honestly don’t have words—everything was just insanely good. I didn’t even want to finish my plate because it was so delicious. Felt like something your grandma would make with love. The people there were super kind and genuine, which made it even better. Seriously appreciated a lot❤️ You have to try the battuta di fassona, parmigiana, tonno alla zucca, and the fritto—seriously, all amazing. We’re definitely going back soon. I like the chocolate cake too and next time I will try zuppa inglese. If you’re around Lerici, definitely check this place out. The only downside is the parking and the road to get there, but honestly, it’s totally worth it ✨

Good food in a peaceful location. We arrived on Saturday evening without a reservation, but it was fully booked. We were about to walk back to La Serra but the staff managed to clear an extra space inside just for us. The staff were fantastic.

A real NO NO. Right from the very beginning we realised that it wasn't going to be a good experience. The waitress almost seemed irritated that we asked to book a table and all the staff looked rather scruffy. The ambiance was run down and the whole restaurant gave the impression to be stuck in the early 70s. When we were finally served our pizzas the disappointment was truly great. Hard and paper thin. It's probably our fault, because everyone praises the quality of the pizza at Trieste, but believe me, we found it difficult to agree.

If I could give Trieste in San Terenzo zero stars — or better yet, have it condemned — I would. One star is an outrageous overstatement for what can only be described as a health hazard masquerading as a restaurant. The beer reeked of sulfur and rotten eggs — genuinely undrinkable. The cheese came in sad little plastic bags, as if the kitchen had raided a discount gas station. The vongole pasta? A revolting, stinking pile of decomposing shellfish. It smelled like death and tasted worse. As for the supposed “local delicacy”? A limp pita bread drenched in store-bought pesto that had clearly been open for days. It was offensive — not just to Italian food, but to food in general. Service was an exercise in neglect. No warmth, no welcome — just slow, sloppy, joyless drudgery. The staff seemed embarrassed, and frankly, they should be. This place is a masterclass in how not to run a restaurant. Trieste isn’t just bad — it’s a festering embarrassment. A disgrace to San Terenzo. A place that should be boycotted, shut down, and struck from every guidebook. Avoid this place like a contagious disease.

Delicious food, very much Italian atmosphere, great vino dalla casa, lovely owners. Having seen the very contrasting reviews, yes indeed, the younger waitresses are not very alert, the older owners are adorable. Try a smile and some Italian words and you will be forever friends. We returned here every day of our stay and said goodbye with handshakes as good old friends. And we are!!

I wish we looked at the reviews before going to eat lunch there. We were met by the grumpiest waitress, she didn't say hi, only threw a couple of menus on the table. In Italian of course. When we started ordering, she specified the pizzas are only made in the evenings. I wish it was stated somewhere... and again, maybe it was, but just in italian? When I asked what she would recommend for our 3yo daughter that wanted to order fish, she told me to look in the menu... when I said I didnt eat seafood, only fish, she couldn't understand. I honestly wish we left at that point. I got a cheese omelet with the tiniest side of dry salad. It swam in some fat, but other than that it was tasty. Husband was unimpressed with his ragu ravioli, he would swear it was microwaved. Our daughter got a swordfish steak that was a but dry, but fine. The atmosphere and service were just so bad, nothing could save this experience. Why does one work as a waitress if they obviously hate customers?

The pizza was ok, but a terrible attitude by the staff. We waited about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our pizza. Guest arriving after us, got their meal and pizza before us, without any explaination, information or apologise from the staff. The owner told us in italian, that he never apologise because he never make any faults.

This is not a pizzeria! At least not for lunch. Waited for ever while everyone around us were served first. Eventually got some very overcooked prawns. Calamari was good though. Very hot and cramped inside too.

They canceled our room just three days before our arrival, first claiming the price we booked was too low, and then blaming it on "bad weather." This was clearly a lie, as the weather was perfectly fine with no rain or rough waters during that time. Luckily, we found a much nicer place nearby for a fraction of the price and managed to get some lovely swims at the free beach nearby

The place is gorgeous, a great place to swim and have fun with friends. We were looking for a little quieter and luxurious beach club, and this fit the bill. That being said, it’s definitely $$$ for what it offers. Some of the food is great, there are some misses. The location and view really make it worthwhile in the end though!

I stayed at Eco del Mare for four days and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The rooms were in a deplorable state: old-fashioned, poorly maintained, and extremely dirty. I found hair on the bed, more hair scattered across the floor, and even traces of blood in the bathroom, which was truly alarming and unacceptable. The restaurant was equally disappointing. The food was of very poor quality, and I had to personally point out that a tomato had visible mold on it. Considering how dangerous that can be, especially for health reasons, it was shocking to see such negligence. As a final insult, the beach access situation was also unacceptable. In Italy, public access to the shore and the five meters from the waterline is guaranteed by law, yet here it was denied. The staff were openly rude to non-paying guests and, to be honest, not particularly polite even to us, despite the fact that we were paying customers. Overall, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. It was an appalling experience from start to finish.

This was a very big disappointment! Beautiful place with bad service and attitude to their customers. We had to clean our own seats and table, got the wrong drinks and the food was tasteless. When we asked for the manager they told us to wait until 19:00 this was at 15:30. And when I asked for contact info they would not give me the manager’s name or direct email. It was very pricey and if you can live up to the level it would be okay. Now we just paid for bad service and tasteless food.

Eco del Mare, is one of the those places that make your holidays memorable. The beach is private, and the tents are very comfortable. The water was warm, and the hotel, is so well built around the rocks. We were there just for the day, but loved everything about it. It has this hippie chic vibe. The food for lunch was great as was the service.

The pizza was not nice. The base did not seem hand made. The toppings had too much oil.

We payed a lot of money for 5 pizzas that seemed cheap, frozen pizzas. Too bad we have.t checked the recomandations on the internet, we waited the whole day to eat a good pizza in the lovely town of Lerici. Too bad..:(

My husband and I are visiting my daughter and son-in-law. We have been here for 29 days. Of all the places that we have stop in for a bite to eat this place is the absolute best. My family live temporarily across from La Paria they told me that La Paria is their favorite and I can see why. Every meal was served with the best food and service in the area. The view and the restaurant atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking. The owners and staff are always polite. I will take back to Tennessee the memories of La Perla . I can’t thank you enough.

I’ve eaten so many pasta’s in my life, but the lobster pasta I had at La Conchiglia was one of the best I’ve had. And the tiramisu afterwards was out of this world as well. Could not recommend this place more, Maurizio definitely knows his way around the kitchen. Plus the service was very very good and we paid 85€ for two persons including bottle of wine, beers, and coffee. For that money I would eat there everyday if I lived in the area ;).

We chose this restaurant after having a few hit and miss experiences at other restaurants in the main square. The restaurant was tucked around the corner with not too many diners. WOW so glad we chose this place. Service was amazing. Food and cocktails were both amazing. BUT I must talk about the steak. It was out of this world. Char grilled, so tasty. We are hoping to go back again tonight so I can order my own steak instead of stealing my partners!

Food was good, but for white-tablecloth and fancy plates type of place I felt lack of staff's attention to their work. Place wasn't full, but waiters were mixing some orders between the tables. And we had to remind about ordered wine, which arrived only after we finished a starter.

Lovely lunch ! Elegant presentation and very tasty food. All done with a light hand. Just fab. Don't miss the antipasto misto!

I don't normally review but found the need to do so after a shocking meal. I order the spaghetti al frutti de mare and was looking forward to fresh sea food ( after asking what was in it)The dish was served with what I can only imagine was frozen packet mixed seafood that was tasteless. The prawns ( shrimp were the size of my finger nail) No condiments were offered such as simple salt and pepper, parmesan cheese, fresh chillies , garlic etc. When I requested this I received parmeson in a packet, as well as salt and pepper sachets. That I can live with but what seems like a family run business needs to seriously think about the quality of their food. I am a foodie and this was certainly disappointing as it has the potential of being a really nice little establishment.

Tourist trap. Went for dinner with the family, menu prices are unclear (sign on the wall) and the quality of food was poor. Fish was not fresh, over cooked and potatoes saggy not baked. The bill was vague, no detail, and claimed maximum price. In sum: very disappointed, definitely recommend avoiding this tourist trap.

Good food , great service and polite and friendly place. We ate well and are ready for swimming (gelato first though)

Absolutely loved the food, plenty of vegan options. The host was delightful - explained she grows most of the ingredients herself and it shows! The pesto on the gnocchi was so fresh and delicious - would highly recommend to anyone vegan or veggie.

Experience straight out of kitchen nightmares. The restaurant claims to be friendly to vegetarians, while it's really not. Among the veggy options, we ordered the salad with fruit and vegetables, that really looked like it came out a couple of days ago out of a supermarket packed salad. The vegan starter, was mainly pickled food. The fish and traditional main courses were kind of alright but nothing to write home about. The service was super slow (despite there being only one more table besides us) and totally unprofessional

We were a large party of 12. They had no problem seating us. The service was outstanding and had no problem catering to our gluten free and vegan needs. I highly recommend the walnut ravioli. It was amazing; by far the best pasta I have had. Everyone in our group was happy with their meals. This place is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

This place is amazing. Peach cheesecake from their own trees, wine from the local village. Lovely staff really friendly. Above all get the fried pizza bites with toppings. I had the vegetarian option and it was fantastic.

I came to this restaurant a few days ago after having booked 10 days in advance for a table outside for a family dinner. When we arrived we were told that our table was given away although our name was still there on the booking for that time. The waitress then told us she could not do anything and offered us to sit inside where it was hot, and only one table which was in between the hot kitchen and the bathroom, and as you can see the ambience of the inside area is little to none. I then went outside to see if there was space for them to move the table outside and the boyfriend and friend who was sitting on the tables outside then offered to move as they were not eating and just chilling there so we could push the tables together and eat. The waitress then pushed the tables together and sat us together facing the wall of the restaurant. She then banged down on the table the oil and vinegar and the salt etc with such an air of rudeness that we were worried we would find spit in our food. She very rudely took our order and would not answer questions relating to the menu and responded to each question with such an attitude it became almost amusing. Our food all arrived at different times and half way during the meal the waitress with the black hair rudely took away the plate from my boyfriend without asking if he was done. Each time she came to being or take away plates she would lean over me instead of coming round to place and take away plates in a proper manner. We came to this place as it has vegan and vegetarian options but the food was also of bad quality. Burnt portions that are hilariously small with salad that obviously comes from a bag and is a few days old. I left the restaurant still hungry and completely astonished at the service.
