Casa Pardina in Alquézar offers a rustic dining experience with stone walls and a leafy terrace, where visitors can enjoy olive oil tastings and a Mediterranean menu. The restaurant is known for its authentic Huesca recipes, such as Pirineo veal entrecote, and it caters to gluten-free diners with a wide variety of delicious options.
Top experience in my life, can’t say anything wrong about this place. Very special dishes and flavours in Spain that I’ve never tried or seen before, absolutely amazing. Bread, wine, olive oils, jamón, salad, seafood, stews, ice cream and coffee - all of this were excellent. Not to mention the portions, they are huge! For this price it’s incredible how much and how good you get. Waiters are also very kind, thank you for your service! Highly recommended.

Interesting tasting menu and many options to choose from. We loved the slow-cooked lamb and the oxtail. The atmosphere can be improved with warm dimmed lights.

Great restaurant, good venue, and good value for money. Only dawback is that we had to wait 30 min since we arrived to be attended. Staff very friendly and food good quality and quantity. If not for the initial wait, I would give it 4/5 stars

Dinner at Casa Pardina was one of my favorite meals on a recent Spain trip. I had an amazing tomato, avocado, and goat cheese salad, as well as a perfectly cooked entrecote steak, all with tasty local wine. The staff were very friendly as well! Likely you'd want to make a reservation ahead of time.

Food and service was fantastic. We had one of the best dinner here in Spain. Food was delicious and service was great!
Ja — Google review
Unlike others, we did not have a good meal, maybe it was just an off day, chef's day off. The food was bland, heavy and uninspiring. The food was reheated in a microwave and we expected far more.

A truly wonderful experience in a small historic town. Be sure to time your journey to Alquezar when they are open and make reservations.

Perfect dinner. We had a menu .. all the entrees (5!) Where so good!! Compliments to the chef. Our main course was slamontasted very good. And dessert was absolutely sublime!! Thank you! Make reservations before come here. Must do when you are in Alquézar!

The place is beautiful but the service is terrible... Really unprofessional and offensive with customers. Both, the waitress and the owner, scolded us multiple times, for not being ready to order the deserts or for putting the glasses on the "plate space". They were discriminatory with my gf coming from the US, ignoring her and declining to pour wine for her (when they were doing it for everyone else). It's a shame that such a beautiful place is managed this way. Food was fine, some dishes better than others.
Pau P — Google review
Had a most unexpected extraordinary meal here a few nights ago. All the courses were interesting, subtle, unique and a perfect end to a fabulous 10 days in the French and Spanish Pyrenees. Without doubt, the best meal we enjoyed, among many other excellent ones. Thank you.

Excellent lunch at this restaurant today. Cannot praise the food preparation and presentation too highly. Standout best food we have had in Spain so far (10 days in) . Thank you 😀

We had a most enjoyable lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the serving staff were friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting Alquezar or the area

We visited the restaurant on Sunday and enjoyed set lunch menu. Earlier booked a table for six per e-mail at 1 am on the same day(!). We did not expect, but it was a real feast. It was slaw but definitely worth it. Despite we could not communicate in English, but we really felt looked after.

One of the best places to grab dinner in Alquézar if not the best place. The restaurant is run by a couple. One can see their passion for food, service is great! Definitely recommend!

Casa Gervasio is a charming restaurant located in the depths of the old town, offering a cozy square for dining just a few meters from its entrance. The restaurant serves lunch from 1:30-4pm, while the bar operates at other times. Their menu del dia, priced at 25/30 including VAT, features homemade dishes prepared with seasonal products from the Somontano region. During warmer months, guests can enjoy dining on the pleasant patio terrace.
Just out of a rio, famished, came here. Menu is 25 euros and is great value, lots of local products, humongous quantity. Open from 13:30 to 16:00 (for orders, it is almost 17:00 and we are still here).

Good place to have lunch in the area. Delicious plates, oh my!
Salif G — Google review
(Translated by Google) Let's see, the food itself was not bad, yes, the single "tasting" menu of 35 euros per person (there were 4 of us) makes a total of 140 euros for 8 courses for the 4 of us, at 20 euros per plate. The dishes were nothing to write home about, scarce and not at all strong, 4 men like castles do not eat there. The attention was also not very close and cordial and the best, the Coca Cola from a used plastic bottle, a detail... There are many nearby restaurants at a much better price/quantity/quality. I don't recommend it.

(Translated by Google) I don't usually write reviews but this place deserves it. Traditional and amazing homemade food. My partner and I ended up very full with the entire menu and delighted with the service. A place where if or if you have to stop to eat and that we will recommend and return. (Translated by Google) We went last March and after doing the route of the Alquézar walkways we approached to see if we could eat and we were lucky that they did have a table for 4 people. The girl who helped us was 10. Very attentive with everything and great service. The menu is a closed menu that they bring out dish after dish until you can't take it anymore. Personally I like these places where you eat traditional food, very well and, of course, they don't let you leave hungry.

(Translated by Google) Very good place to eat a tasting of traditional food. They only have the option of a 25 euro menu with which they give you numerous and abundant dishes of which it is almost impossible to finish them all. The only but is that the wine is not included. However, the shot and the coffee are, leaving you the shot bottle. The service was quite friendly (Original) Muy buen sitio para comer una degustación de comida tradicional. (Translated by Google) It depends how you look at it... Closed menu. They only serve the €25 Menu. Don't ask for a letter!!! They will offer you to go to other restaurants!! There are 7 different dishes to share for 2 people, and the coconuts and almonds. In addition to dessert for each one, coffee and shot. The drink included water, house wine and soda. We left very full!! hehehe Rounds!! The food is completely homemade and the truth is that it is good. The tasty pink tomato, the delicious cannelloni, the tasty legumes and the meat (lamb and rabbit) very tender. When you enter it will be dark because it is the bar and it is closed but you have to go to the 1st floor where the dining room is. The toilet is in the bar. The dining room is rustic and not very big, with a ground fire, and the boss mother at the first table at the entrance to control and collect. The son (landlord) and the waitress (very nice) take care of the dining room. They are correct. (Original) Depende como lo miréis ... Menú cerrado. Sólo sirven el Menú de 25€. No pidáis carta!!!

Everything was perfect. We ordered los huevos rotos and entrecot. It was well serviced and tasty! We were outside. At 8 pm, it was not very hot. However, there were a lot of flies. Yet, the view of the village and the sheep that were running around down the yard made our dinner. Recommended!

Discovered this place on our first evening. Chose it because of the terrace overlooking the valley. We've eaten here a few times now. It's very reasonable and the portions are very generous. But it's also the very pleasant staff and atmosphere that make it worth it. I have no problem recommending it.

With its convenient location, Casa Jabonero provides easy access to the town center and nearby attractions such as Iglesia parroquial de San Miguel Arcangel.
Great service. I’m a vegetarian and the waiter went out of his way to ensure I ate well for 3 consecutive evenings. Decent food and friendly staff, I would highly recommend if staying in Alquezar.
Chris H — Google review
We chose this place for a dinner. Steak and entrecote. Although the 3-course meal was OK, it was nothing special. Just OK and the price was right for what we got. But still, why a EUR 4 addition for the entrecote (it was mentioned as such on the pricelist)? Strange. I mean, it was not that exclusive in taste or anything... The worst however was the serving lady. Not unfriendly or anything, but very uninterested and uninspiring. More the type of a bargirl. Just deliver the order, put the plates down and be off without any word (tip: have a nice meal, enjoy, if you need anything else, etc.). The outside terrace on the backside was also a little uninspiring to us, alongside a small backroad. The music must have been the 'bargirl's' choice. Not anything you would expect to have a dinner with appropriate background music anyway. All in all, food OK for the price. Skip the rest for what it is or what it offers.
Marco R — Google review
I can only comment on the café, do yourself a favor and avid this place. Customer service was non existent, felt like the customer was part of the assembly line. I visited with my partner, when we said we didn’t want coffee, we were immediately given the bill. Food lacks quality and presentation. The bread was stale, meat was not grilled as advertised on the menu (probably fried). The café is a pure tourist trap. Not a value for your money, so run!
Bojana M — Google review

As Alquezar is mostly shut down in off seasons workdays and we usually avoid restaurants with Google reviews below 4, we ended up here. That was a mistake. The food was only partially eatable, but we can recommend the yoghurt as dessert. The Tostada with grilled vegetables should be called Refrigerada. The home made pasta was homeless. But the waiter smiled understandingly through all of that, so two stars.

Brasería Mesón del Vero in Alquézar is a family-friendly restaurant offering a traditional menu with carefully prepared dishes that highlight local flavors. The establishment's cuisine features options such as pink tomato carpaccio, duck micuit, artichoke hearts, wild boar in wine, oxtail, gratin cod, T-bone steak, and black rice.
I’ve been to Alquezar many times and eaten at Meson Del Vero many times, but this time was the best. Lucian and his staff served up a 1.5 kg. Chuleta - with french fries and pardon peppers. Without doubt the best steak I have ever had in my life – my daughter, my granddaughter, and I could barely finish the portion served. We had an amazing table with amazing service and an amazing view – I will not hesitate to say that this is my favorite restaurant in Alquezar - Lucian and his staff never disappoint – next time you’re there tackle a Chuleta and his amazing sangria recipe if you dare. You will not be disappointed! Also this restaurants knowledge of wines of the region is amazing!

The restaurant at the entrance of Alquézar offers a terrace with amazing views of the monastery and the walls of the village, accompanied by tasty and refreshing drinks. Later in the evening we moved inside for a delicious menu of local foods, with great portions. Definitely a good stop, but as always in Spain be careful about the times when food is served

Delicious Food, Outstanding Service, and Beautiful Surroundings! We had such a great dining experience here! The service was amazing — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The food was incredibly tasty, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a delight! The area is very nice with a beautiful view, spacious parking, and clean toilets — all of which made the visit even more comfortable and enjoyable. We’ll definitely come back when we visit the area again in the future. Highly recommended!
Syeny R — Google review
On a quiet Sunday afternoon in October, nearly all the restaurants in and around Alquézar were closed, except for Las Melias, situated opposite a large campsite. The entrance was guarded by a lone petrol pump and we entered without great expectations. Two hours later, we departed full of delight and good food. The covered terrace was spacious and the staff were welcoming and multilingual. The menu was printed in Spanish, English and French. We started with a green salad with walnuts pear and blue cheese, and a plate of small toasts topped with melted cheese and tomato jam. For the main course, my wife chose cannelloni stuffed with mushrooms and parmesan, while I went for goat’s cheese ravioli in Roquefort sauce. We accompanied our meal with red Somontano wine (the local appellation). You may have spotted that all our dishes were vegetarian, but most of the menu comprises a variety of meat and fish dishes. By the time we had finished, the restaurant was full, so if you wish to experience this excellent cuisine, it is undoubtedly advisable to book in advance.

Decently priced. Nice waiters. However, there were many flies when we dined, which made the experience less pleasant. In addition, I had some pieces of an olive pit in my salad which scared me when I bit down on it.

It's a pleasant and convenient place to enjoy a nice lunch. The outside terrace has a pleasant atmosphere and some lovely views over the valley. The staff is super friendly and the food is overall good. I was not taken by the house wine though. I got half a liter, which is rather generous for one person. I rather had one glass of higher quality.

Pretty much the only restaurant on the strip that was open on a Wednesday at 13h. We had to wait ordering food till 13h30 but sat down with a drink. Service was friendly and relatively quick. All 3 dishes (starter of scrambled shitake/veggies/egg , pork cheecks, chicken in wine with fried potatoes) we had were good (bread could have been a bit more fresh) In particular the chicken was good. The tiramisu dessert was great!

very friendly staff. there was nothing vegetarian on the menu but on enquiry vegetarian options were prepared for us and were delicious :)

We had an amazing lunch here after a hike on "la ruta de las pasarelas". The menu del día is very reasonably priced and comes included with a nice bottle of Somontano wine. We had a salad which was the only low point of the meal (one of those that come with grated carrot from a jar), a rice that was one of the best I have ever tasted (very creamy, with pieces of longaniza and it tasted of mutton), amazing mutton chops (very tender and very flavourful) and hake (if I remember correctly) with an incredible sauce. I also had a delicious "milhojas" for dessert, my partner just had a coffee and they didn't even charge extra, they were happy to replace his dessert with it. The service was fast and attentive, the waiter was really nice, he gave us a lot of information about the local foods for example. It's not often that I am so happy with a meal, but everything was perfect and makes us want to visit Alquézar again!

The food was very salty. Service was quite slow. Atmosphere was okey.

Classic Spanish dishes, nothing fancy but very well prepared. The entrecote was grilled perfectly and the lamb very well slow-cooked. The menu of the day offers good quality for a reasonable price.

Great view and friendly waiter, but terrible food. Pasta carbonara lacked most of its main ingredients, beef stew was cold, clams were empty and desert was served in its original plastic packaging

Restaurant
We enjoyed a leisurely coffee at Restaurante Peña Amán | Alquézar, where we were able to savor the stunning views in a relaxed atmosphere. This establishment is a typical bar that offers both drinks and food options. Located in a tourist area, it caters to visitors passing through to admire the beautiful town. The restaurant provides satisfying meals, ensuring that guests leave fully contented.
(Translated by Google) Both the food and the service were excellent. The waitress (we think she's Argentinian) was incredibly attentive. Both the grilled sausage and the pizza were delicious. We weren't too keen on the ham croquettes, but the stew croquettes were incredible. We'll be back! Volveremos!

Bad service, very bad food ! To avoid ! Too expensive for such a low quality. Food taste fake and bad. Highly not recommended…

(Translated by Google) It doesn't seem very logical to pay 3.5 for a bottle of water. Excessive price. Regarding the pizzas, abusive prices for a small, frozen pizza (that is, the kind sold in supermarkets). Nothing out of this world. We ordered some patatas bravas with the sauce on the side, but apparently they didn't understand very well because it wasn't on the side (it wasn't salsa brava either, but oh well). It didn't have a very good presentation since the sauce was poured in any way. The only positive thing is the views. Not recommended, you will surely find better places to eat in Alquezar.

(Translated by Google) We got one of the few tables left in all of Alquézar and it saved our lunch time because we had time to go to the catwalks at 3:45 p.m. All the tables were full and there was only one waitress, so it was lucky to have been seated so far in advance, it was impossible for the service to be fast. Two hours sitting. She went from one place to another without stopping, the problem is the lack of staff... The menu cost €16, a somewhat insurmountable value for money. We didn't eat badly, we were satisfied, but it is not a restaurant with elaborate and fresh dishes. In Alquézar you pay for the place, not for the food, so my recommendation is without a doubt that you book in advance at a restaurant with good ratings, since the prices in any restaurant are around €15 for the menu.

(Translated by Google) Tourist scam. Foreigners are only offered the pizza option, seemingly systematically. We waited more than 30 minutes to be served frozen pizzas at the exorbitant price of €12, by a very unfriendly woman, pizzas that made us sick that afternoon. In short... "Run away, you fools!" "Fuyez, pauvres fous !"

(Translated by Google) Small bar with about fifteen tables. After a 20-minute wait, I went to the bar to find the waitress to place my order. Ten minutes later, she came over to tell us they couldn't make mojitos (which we had already agreed to when we ordered). Ten minutes later, our two iced teas arrived, without a word from the waitress, who seemed to be enduring your arrival. Avoid! Le Petit Bistro is another dining option available in Alquézar, although they do not possess the official certification. However, they are knowledgeable about preventing cross-contamination due to having a friend of the owner who is gluten intolerant. They offer a variety of gluten-free dishes such as scrambled eggs, potato servings, mixed plates, Graus sausage, and salads. The restaurant's location in the heart of the city showcases beautiful architecture and provides pleasant service.
The staff was super nice, very warm atmosphere, not much waiting, and delicious food !

Tasty food and quick and efficient service - just what one needs for a packed agenda day! Petit Bistro is great for two reasons. First, tasty homemade food. We especially liked turron pancake and the meat. Second, the staff is very efficient. This is perfect place if you dont want to book a restaurant to allow flexibility in your schedule and also if you value quick lunch rather than 2-3h banquet so that you make most of your time exploring the area and doing 'pasarela'. On top, the place is cosy and nicely decorated.

(Translated by Google) The restaurant has beautiful views. The food is good for the price, although some dishes did not quite match the description on the menu. For example, the salad with strawberries and confit tomato had normal tomato, the potatoes with cured meat had ham and the wild boar croquettes are also made with ham. The waitress was a little rushed, but was attentive at all times. In general, it is a good place to have a drink while enjoying the surroundings.
