Rozis Tandoori Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem that consistently impresses its guests, regardless of the time of day. Visitors rave about the polite and friendly staff who provide excellent service without being intrusive. The menu offers a variety of flavorful dishes, including Chicken Tikka Dansak and Mushroom Madras, which can be tailored to dietary preferences like veganism. Diners appreciate the generous portions and remarkable depth of flavor in every dish, making it an excellent value for money.
Really loved the food and the staff were extremely lovely, especially with our little girl. We appreciated it very much. The food was excellent value and absolutely delicious.

Normally ok with Rozi’s, but we were left disappointed tonight. Ordered a takeaway delivery tonight. It was delivered on time etc. but when we sat down to eat there were missing items from the ‘fish special’ main course order- basically the garlic rice wasn’t there, and the meal part was just two pieces of salmon in some onions- no sauce at all, so it was not as described on the menu. At £13.95 for that dish amongst our order - and as we treated ourselves tonight for a birthday it was disappointing.
Jules — Google review
Super friendly staff that were ready to accommodate any request at all. They moderated the spice level for our sensitive pallette, per our request. I had the Kalia chicken dish with a Peshwar Naan. It was a delicious combo- highly recommend.
Rick E — Google review
Good customer service, polite an attentive. Was able to delay our arrival with a quick response. Food all came out together (5 of us) not a long wait, everyone was happy with their meals. Nice atmosphere to be able to talk.not rushed by staff, had plenty of time to talk after our meal, drinks were fine, even the house red was lovely and a medium was actually a large. Was able to split the bill easy enough by cash an card and was happy enough to leave a tip..only negative was that the ladies bathroom floor was sticky and not the cleanest..but apart from that all positives and would definitely return..
The S — Google review
Ordered from here a few nights ago and order was ready to be collected about 30 mins later. We were staying in the area and couldn't be bothered to eat out so this was a perfect solution. Had some lovely curries, rice and side dishes and would definitely eat here again. Cost us £50 for 3 of us to eat from here which is very reasonable and it was good quality.
Laura C — Google review
Went early (6pm). Quiet at that time. Service was excellent, efficient but unobtrusive. The food was amazing! My wife and daughter had Chicken Tikka Dansak. A little spicier than they're used to but they both really enjoyed it. I had Mushroom Madras, which they prepared without ghee as I'm Vegan. It was delicious! The depth of flavour was remarkable. Poppadoms, chutneys, three main meals, three drinks, just shy of £60. Good value considering the quality of food. Recommended.
David W — Google review
We read the negative reviews and were apprehensive about ordering our takeaway. However we did and were very pleasantly surprised. As vegans we often struggle to find places to eat especially in areas that are largely rooted in animal agriculture(😪) We ordered poppadoms, mushroom balti, vegetable dopiaza, rice and chapattis. All delicious, not greasy and generous portions. They were very accommodating to our specific requests and the food was piping hot. Well done Rozi's.
Suzanne W — Google review
Our visit to Rozi restaurant today was unfortunately quite challenging, starting right from the time of placing the order. The person taking the order informed us that they only prepare medium-hot dishes, refusing to make a hot tarka dal or any other spicier food. This is unlike any experience we've had at Indian restaurants or takeaways across the UK. The tarka dal we received was still mild in taste and disappointingly only half-filled. The portion seemed quite meager. Our order of saag paneer had an unexpected yoghurt-like and sweet flavor, despite our request for no sugar or sweetness. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this restaurant to Indian food enthusiasts, especially fellow Indians. My future visits will certainly not include a return to this establishment.

Cafe
Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Amlwch, Caffi Pen y Dref Cafe is a delightful spot for those who appreciate hearty, traditional meals without the fuss. This charming cafe offers an array of delicious dishes at wallet-friendly prices, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The full Welsh breakfast is a standout, featuring generous portions that include sausages, bacon, black pudding, eggs, and more—all served with steaming mugs of coffee.
Lovely cafe. Came here today, a Friday in November whilst holidaying in Anglesey. Amazed by the choice and also the cost of the meals. We had 2 breakfasts. A Welsh breakfast and a veggie one, both cane with 2 teas and bread and butter, plus what is pictured. Total cost £14.90. Great value for so much tasty food. If we lived nearer, we would return. Friendly service.
Trudi G — Google review
had the full Welsh breakfast and every item was perfectly done. the coffee and tea were excellent too. service was great and the place was packed with regulars. very reasonably priced.

Fantastic coffee. No idea how it tastes so good considering I didn't want sugar. Very generous portions for very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly and helpful and you get 2 cups of coffee with breakfast (not that I could fit any more in).
Adrian V — Google review
This cafe was recommended by the owner of the place we stayed at in the area. Staff and regular customers are lovely and the food is great and such value for money that we went every day to set us up for sightseeing around the Island. We would highly recommend it!
Susan P — Google review
Great place to chill after a few days of hectic piracy out on the ocean waves. This place is an authentic local cafe and has none of the feigned friendliness of a chain such as Starbucks and nobody objects when I walk in smelling of freshly gutted mackerel. The food is excellent and very well priced. Recommended for those who want to experience local life and have a chat and gossip - tourists should go elsewhere if they cant cope with reality.
Capt. O — Google review
Was recommended by the bar man in the hotel opposite. Did not disappoint. The food was excellent. The portion was huge. We both could not finish our meal. The food is cooked to order, so came hot, and tasty. I ordered a cod and chips and my husband ordered gammon with all the trimmings. They only take cash, but the whole lot with coffee/tea came to less than £25. Well worth it.. The ladies who cooked and served were friendly too.
Nancy M — Google review
Stopped by this charming little cafe on a drive around Wales today for tea and cake! Lovely bustling eatery serving locals hearty, delicious smelling breakfast. Our cake and tea was delightful as was the service from the red haired lady behind the counter🙂Thank you!

Coffee shop
Breakfast restaurant
Blueberries is a charming and cozy cafe with a homey atmosphere. The small space may not be ideal for those who are claustrophobic, but the friendly staff and delicious homemade cakes make it a delightful spot to visit. The cafe offers a variety of sweet treats, including tantalizing Victoria sponge cake, coffee and walnut cake, and delightful cupcakes. Visitors can also enjoy great coffee and breakfast options in this clean and welcoming establishment with ample parking.
Considering we brought two coaches full of students to the town of Amlwch, the ladies running the cafe handled it brilliantly. The shop was calm and quiet, we suddenly filled it with a lot of our passengers. As you can imagine, this sudden rush caused some stress yet they still handled it very smoothly and every one of us received good service and nice food. *Note to self*, give businesses advanced notice that you will be flooding their store with customers 📝

Stumbled across this lovely cafe today. Fantastic food, and great choice of homemade cakes. I recommend the lemon meringue and the blueberry, lemon and white chocolate cake. Excellent value for money and very friendly, welcoming staff. Highly recommend a visit.

A charming roadside cafe that impressed us. The scone, tuna-cheese sandwich and pie, cranberry with pear a bit weird but, were delicious, and the staff were genuinely warm and attentive. Altogether, a lovely spot worth stopping by.

Nice little dog-friendly cafe with friendly staff and customers. We popped in for breakfast and enjoyed a tasty (and very generous) bacon , sausage and egg roll. Good cup of coffee too. And some free parking for customers.

Great food, generous portions and lovely homemade salad. Service was good despite a busy lunch rush and short staffed. Definitely recommend, indoor seating and out, wish I’d had a cake!
Clarice H — Google review
Lovely cafe, really good prices for food that is very high quality. Huge chunks of chicken, and two big slices of bacon on the panini. Salad that you actually want to eat, even with a blueberry in aha. Absolutely stuffed toasties, filling meals. Lovely place will be stopping, again.

Pub
Bar
Adelphi Vaults is a historic pub located in Amlwch, known for its warm and friendly atmosphere, brilliant staff, and good selection of beers. The pub has a rich industrial history dating back to the early Bronze Age when mining first began in the area. It is a popular spot among locals and visitors alike, offering great pies and tasty sandwiches.
I have put 5 stars for food but sadly the chef was not too well so unable to have the great looking pies but the staff and the variety of ales are amazing! Highly recommend this place!!!!!
James S — Google review
Cracking pub near the quay. Friendly couple run it and couldn’t have been more welcoming. They usually have a few ales on from purple moose but I had a Camden stout which was very nice. They are known for their pies and are served throughout the day. They have a good darts board and you can also sit out front or out back. Convenient parking out front and some overnight van options very near by. They also have music on throughout the year. Lovely pub that I’ll return to again when I’m in the area. 🥧 🎯 🍻 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
G T — Google review
What an absolute gem of a pub! Tucked away in the heart of North Wales, this place is everything a local should be—warm, welcoming, and absolutely full of life. The beer selection is second to none, with a brilliant range of local ales and craft brews that would impress even the most seasoned beer enthusiast. But what really sets it apart is the atmosphere. It’s got that rare, homely charm where strangers become friends, and there’s always a bit of buzz in the air—whether it’s a lively chat at the bar or some great live music in the corner. The staff are friendly, the locals are lovely, and it’s clear this pub is a cherished part of the community. A proper, character-filled spot that gets everything right. Can’t wait to return! Left a lasting impression after just three days

Mid week visit so wasn't surprised it was quiet. Nevertheless beer was great food was cooked fresh to order and the decor was nice bright with seating plentyful. Roof top Beer garden was pleasantly surprising with lots of nautical themed objects. Kids loved it and loved exploring/ quizzing about objects. Parking was plentyful with alternative extra just up the road. All in all a nice place
Duncan Y — Google review
We popped in for a quick beer and sampled the pie; so glad we did. Guinness good too; nice friend may service. The pie, chips and gravy are first class. We will be back.

As a group of sea fishing anglers,we popped in here wed evening then 24th sept, cracking night, we were all dressed in shxt shirts, got judged by the local mayor ess, for a winner.got served by an absolutely fabulous bar person,by the name of Mandy, she was awesome, after my few sherbets, she constantly kept me fresh with water, ice and lemon, whilst the others continue on there thirst for ale, being the last night of our stay in almwich. Unfortunately one my comrades took a tumble outside, started bleeding.unfortunatly for him he's anemiac, helpful Mandy and a bearded fellow did there up most to stem the bleeds, we got him home to our hotel without further issues.this morning at breakfast nursing some scrapes on his nose, head, and elbow lol .survivor . We are all returning in MAY 26, ANOTHER 4 DAYS OF BEDLAM LOL, hopefully we'll see Mandy again.X.

Partially our faults for coming here for pie since it had such good reviews. I probably would have turned us around had I seen the Pieminster branding as we were not impressed. Food took a really long time and crust was tough. Very small chip portions only to find the chips not cooked through. Staff were nice but I'd not go for food again.
Bethany K — Google review
We stopped here a couple of weeks ago whilst touring the North Wales & Anglesey coast in our campervan. With my wife being coeliac it was amazing to have a gluten free pie, mash, peas and gravy on a cold rainy day. We also had our staffie (Murphy) with us and he was welcomed in too and got a couple of dog treats during our stay. We thoroughly recommend popping in for a beer and a meal if you're in the area.

Fish and chips takeaway
Fast food restaurant
Fish & chips restaurant
Nestled in the charming port village of Amlwch, Port Chippy is a delightful fish and chip shop that promises an exceptional culinary experience. While it may not have the same recognition as its counterpart in Benllech, the quality of their fish and chips is undeniably top-notch. After exploring local attractions like the Copper Kingdom Centre or Parys Mountain, this spot offers a perfect takeaway option for a satisfying supper.
I went here specifically because it's the only place on Anglesey where they still cook in Beef Dripping. They do a thing here, where they sell fish by size. So one piece is small and four pieces is extra large. It's different, but actually it makes good sense. I had large haddock (three pieces) chips and mushy peas (£15.90). I was expecting the batter to be somehow better than it was. But it was still really good with friendly service, so I would definitely recommend this place. Also good they are open at lunchtime.
K Q — Google review
Sorry to mark you down but your fish needs to be thicker, I ordered Haddock, it was cooked fresh, but it was so thin. I don't mind wafer thin ham but not water thin fish. I would have classes this as a children's portion. When I asked if this was the biggest I was told yes and that there is a smaller one, I dread to think how small that would be. Your staff are amazing, service was excellent and the shop is clean so all the stars are for them
J S — Google review
Chips great, sauces great, service great. Fish - awful, was chewy and thin. Never had fish like that…… shame as expected more
James S — Google review
Great fish and chips. Lovely staff. Ordered the large F&C for myself - just perfect!
Peter K — Google review
Visited here this evening and was very impressed with the food. The fish was a little small but overall it was very tasty. I had the fish with salt and pepper chips and a carton of gravy. The chips were crunchy just like I like them and the fish was great too. It was very busy and obviously the locals use it as they were queuing out the door. If I was in the area again, I would divert to here.
Ian B — Google review
Chips done with beef dripping are second to none, old school chippy chips. All our food was 10 out of 10, with a stunning location to eat overlooking the harbour. Friendly service and banter from the ladies on the frier.
Pete F — Google review
Went here for lunch yesterday. We avoid seed oils so to get beef dripping fish and chips is a real treat. They were delicious. Highly recommend!
Joanne J — Google review
It grieves me to write this. For some years we have regularly enjoyed a takeaway in the harbour. Last time we found the chips hard, crispy and inedible; only later discovering they now use beef dripping. I've noticed replies to the effect that vegetarians are welcome to visit the sister operation in Benllech. This misses the point. The beef fat violently disagreed with me too. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this. A former highlight of a trip to Amlwch is now closed to us.

Chinese takeaway
Chinese restaurant
During my recent stay just a short drive away, I decided to try out Lucky House despite some mixed reviews. To my delight, the experience was fantastic! The food quality was impressive; we savored every bite of the lovely duck and absolutely scrumptious salt & pepper chips paired with a delightful satay sauce. The portions were generous too—imagine receiving around nine chicken balls along with plenty of prawn toast!
Went to order a Chinese from here when staying about 10 minutes away. Some of the reviews were quite negative but thought we would give it a try. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food - the quality of it was great. Lovely duck, absolutely delicious salt & pepper chips and satay sauce! Also generous portions - you got about 9 chicken balls in the bag and lots of prawn toast. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about as we really enjoyed it, and we aren't that easily pleased! Also quite reasonably priced for the amount of food we ordered. Staff also repeated the order back to us when ordering and also giving us the food.
Rachel A — Google review
Just purchased chicken chow mein and the noodles are hard and uncooked, last night of holiday and its too far to drive all the way back! It was like a pot noodle before water was added!!

Had not been to this takeaway for over 5 years.. had my old favourite order and couldn't eat it, it was bad, very bad.
A B — Google review
Delicious food and very generous portions! Roast pork chow mein was outstanding and it was the crispy-est chilli beef we've had anywhere on anglesey. Call ahead as it can get really busy
Melissa S — Google review
Absolutely horrendous food through it all away for our own health as it was all burnt, slimmy and smelt off. Also very rude front of house will never step foot in this place again.
Robert O — Google review
Five months ago i gave this place 5 stars with the following review "5 months ago my review was 5 stars as follows Not sure why people are giving this establishment such bad reviews. We were nearly put off trying the food out but we are glad we did. Good size portions, piping hot. Lots of good quality meat and friendly staff." Recently we visited again after the refurbishment (which from what i could tell comprised of changing the bulb in the shop front to a brighter one) . Staff again very friendly and helpful. Got home and my god the food was revolting. The only edible item was the boiled rice. We both had curry. The sauce was as thick as custard, but tasted ok. However the meat , if you could call it that, was disgusting. It was the chewy jelly type chicken and beef that your teeth just cannot get through. I wouldnt give my dogs meat of that quality. The lot went in the bin !!

Amlwch Kebab & Burger & Pizza House is a delightful spot to unwind after a long journey, especially if you're coming from West Wales. The owner’s warm hospitality shines through as he shares stories and photos of his Turkish village, creating an inviting atmosphere. While the establishment operates on a cash-only basis, this is easily overlooked thanks to the delicious food and friendly service.
Perfect way to end the holiday when no-one wanted to cook. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of salad on the burgers and wasn't at all greasy. Pizza was brilliant as were the chips. Good value for money but need to be aware that it's cash only.

Stopped here for some lovely food after a long drive from West Wales. The owner was so welcoming and even took the time to show us photos and share stories about his village in Turkey. Unfortunately, while we were there, two men came in being abusive and disrespectful towards the owner and staff. Nestled in the charming town of Amlwch, Pearl House is a delightful Chinese restaurant that has garnered attention from both locals and visitors alike. With its bustling atmosphere and friendly service, it’s no wonder this spot comes highly recommended. Diners rave about the generous portion sizes and flavorful dishes, particularly the beef curry which boasts a rich taste thanks to expertly seared ingredients. The menu offers a variety of options, including plenty for vegetarians, making it an inclusive dining choice for all.
What a great find this was whilst on holiday in the area! The lady I spoke to on the phone couldn’t have been more helpful, she was kind and reeled off all the tofu options we could have as a group of veggies! And the food when ordered was absolutely gorgeous. And so cheap! Can’t fault this place. Thank you so much!

Just had another fabulous takeaway from here . It is hands down the best Chinese we've had on the island with really nice staff too 👍 . A well deserved 5 ⭐️ 👏👏
Paul B — Google review
I did not have high expectations, but actually quite decent in the end. Especially given that the options in the depressed main street of the town are so few nowadays. Yangzhou fried rice was the best dish. Generous portions. The giant spring rolls are a bit odd. Staff are pleasant. Cash only...

Had a Chinese from here last night for the first time since the last owners had left! Easily the worst Chinese I’ve ever had! All the food was flavourless and had a weird taste to it! The batter was soggy and undercooked! And the curry sauce and sweet and sour sauce was flavourless also and coagulated like jelly! I doubt the owners would eat this food! £22 wasted! Never again! 😔

Staying in Amlwch on holiday May 2024, this place was recommended by a few different locals. It did not disappoint. We ordered at the premises, it was very busy inside and the phone did not stop ringing, always a good sign. We visited twice over the week and had starters and mains and it took about 15 mins. The portion size of Beef curry was big and also very tasty, the beef and onions had been seared in the pan and this intensified the taste ( I think a pervious review says it was burnt :-). The fried Noodles with Wanton and ginger is also recommended. Would definitely recommend.
Studiobod — Google review
Worst Chinese ever. As soon as we walked through the door there was a unpleasant man taking our order and it look to me as he clearly didn't want to work there and he was unfriendly. Then when we got home with our meal that we bought we opened the starters and the ribs were black, tasteless and small. The chicken wings were covered in this watery sauce which was completely tasteless. We then opened our mains to find that my chicken chow mein was a disgusting colour and the chicken was barely even chopped up! I decided to risk it and eat my chow mein which was tasteless. also the mushrooms tasted off and the noodles were all sticking together in clumps where some had sauce and some did not. We ordered here WHICH WAS A MISTAKE! so I will encourage you DO NOT ORDER FOOD HERE here take your business elsewhere.

Popped in for a drink. Friendly and efficient Bar staff. Great Juke box. Sky sports on a huge screen. Very reasonably priced drinks. It was a Monday so fairly quiet. Recommended.

A friendly pub with great bar staff. Perfect for watching the Live football on weekends and midweek. It had a great atmosphere too and optional quiet back rooms away from the larger groups if needed. An archway also runs through to a side garden area that’s perfect for a drink and fresh air.

Great pub in Amwlch, there was 20 of us at the pub and Dylan behind the bar , made us all feel very welcome. Good prices for drinks and people in the pub friendly and were good to talk to. Thanks Dylan for a really good afternoon.

Great little pub, which pulled out the stops to put together some very tasty sandwiches, even though the village was basically closed for half day trading. Very helpful owner. Needs some attention and is a work in progress..... But they are certainly trying hard, and will no doubt achieve. 😎

Great little pub. Quiet when I went for a pint but service was superb and pint excellent. It would be good for more people to enjoy this little harbour side pub

Trecastell Hotel is a charming 1920s venue located in Amlwch, Wales. The hotel offers simple rooms with picturesque sea views and provides breakfast for guests. Additionally, there is a restaurant on-site where visitors can enjoy meals. Amlwch itself is known as the Ancient Copper Town due to its historical significance in copper mining at Parys Mountain, which is located near the hotel.
I think we were quite lucky when we went here as we ended up getting the best seat in the house, in the conservatory overlooking the bay, and what an amazing view it is! We thought that the food and the service were both excellent. I had the lamb Henry which was really good. You didn't get a massive amount of lamb, but I suppose that's the way it's going. They had a really nice beer that I think was their in-house IPA. There is also a Large car park.

Wonderful, very comfortable 3 night stay. Stunning view of the bay opposite the hotel from our room and the restaurant. We eat here every night as the food was great, plenty of choice & we just loved the relaxing atmosphere & the view. So peaceful. Thankyou to all the staff. Angela was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble in the mornings. This was our second time staying at this hotel. Look forward to returning.

Stayed here the last two nights. Staff very helpful and kind. Breakfasts were the best I’ve had in a hotel in a long while. Piping hot plate brought to you for you to load up with all you can eat. Absolutely delicious. Really good decaf coffee too. Lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. Absolutely perfect. Dined in restaurant both night and food was delicious, plentiful and lots of choices considering I’m a picky eater. Extremely good value for money

Tucked away in the charming town of Amlwch on Anglesey, Skyes creperie is a delightful haven for anyone exploring the island. This cozy spot boasts an impressive selection of fluffy pancakes, delectable crepes, and traditional galettes that cater to both sweet and savory cravings. Families will find plenty to enjoy here! Diners rave about the exceptional food quality; dishes like haddock smokies are expertly crafted and paired with fresh ingredients.
Wow, what an absolute gem that my hubby found in Skye’s of Amlwch. The Canadian” & milkshakes we both had were absolutely delicious!! A must visit for Crêpe & pancake lovers. The staff & owner are real nice & everything is made from scratch. We had the perfect seats right in the open French doors with a lovely breeze coming in on this beautiful summers day 👌😋😋

Enjoyed the Friday night pizza and peroni deal for £10. Great pizza and nice relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed it so much we went back to try some breakfast options, which were also fab especially the “La Complete” Galette. And it’s dog friendly too!
Linda M — Google review
Utterly wonderful experience, the food was exceptional. Honestly, the man is a wizard. The haddock smokies were rich and brilliantly paired with the French beans, and they serve exactly the right amount of butter, which is lots! The service was fantastic throughout, we couldn't have been made more welcome, even with two large dogs and it still had the feeling of a high end meal, even with such a friendly and casual atmosphere. I was barely cajoled into the off menu affogato for dessert (highly recommend) and my partner had the la magritte which was the perfect balance of textures and lightly spiced apple. I want to come back and try everything else, and the prices are so good that it could be possible with enough time. Essential for any stop over, if what we had is representative of the rest of the menu then you can't miss

We happened to be there for lunch as we were interested in a trekking starting from the village. Very cozy place, very varied menu with the possibility of vegetarian dishes. Once chosen you order at the counter. Friendly service and very good quality dishes. Point you notice the Alfa pizza oven, who knows what good pizzeria churns out!
Andrea P — Google review
The staff on arrival were very polite and greeting. The food was excellent and very fairly priced. With free parking nearby, both indoor and outdoor seating and being dog friendly too, this place is a brilliant choice to eat whether you’re travelling Anglesey or live locally. Highly recommend eating here if you’re looking for somewhere affordable with a menu which caters to everyone.

The hotel boasts a state-of-the-art spa with a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, solarium, and gymnasium. Guests can indulge in various spa treatments at the Beauty/Therapy Suite.
The hotel, and grounds are amazing. If your looking for a clean, relaxing environment to unwind this hotel ticks all the boxes. Arrived at 6 the spa closes at 7 so went for a swim, steam room and jacuzzi before having the best meal I think I've had in 40 years. Lasagne was hands down the best I've had ever period. In Venice last year and it didn't come close to what I just experienced. The salad with balsamic vinger and parmasan dressing was a great combo. Washed it down with the perfect pint of Cobra and finished it off with an authentic tiramisu. Overall its a 10/10 for a r and r trip away with the misses.

Well what can I say.... On arrival thought we had struck lucky... How wrong were we. The room looked OK on the surface but look deeper and you will see the truth. Skirting boards full of dust... Water marks down the walls.. Bed so uncomfortable we felt sea sick if the other person moved. Just outside our room were dirty glasses sitting on the radiator and part opened packs of water bottles that were there the next morning. Restaurant food was good and the chef was very attentive regarding allergies. I don't expect to hear a member of staff being spoken to by what I presumed was management in a derogatory way in front of customers. On check out all the staff were outside smoking and not attending to customers. A month yes a whole month to get a response which was a free spa... I don't want a free spa I didn't use the spa I used the hotel. I was told the mattress had been changed and the wall repainted but the wall was wallpapered. Work that one out. I've stayed in some wonderful hotels over the years but this was one of the worst... A month is way too long for a response to a complaint they need to make sure there is someone to deal with issues available 24/7.

An Unforgettable Stay – Highly Recommended! What truly sets this hotel apart is the level of service. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests' experience. The food at the restaurant was as delicious as it looked!! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Five stars all the way!

Bedroom smart. Bed 🛌 very comfy!. I slept well. Tv couldn't keep any picture on long enough to watch. Spa facilities are very good. Nice and clean. However, it can only provide treatment service massage, etc, for one person at a time, which was very disappointing when requested by booking in advance. Short staffed, maybe? Staff are nice and friendly, but again, very few or double up doing a number of different roles. The restaurant is very overpriced for the average pub food. I have never seen scrambled eggs that look like rice before. I actually didn't think it was possible to get scrambled eggs so very, very wrong... how wrong was I ✨️😬

Had a lovely couple of days with the family. Great remote location to relax and unwind but not too far from attractions. Halal options available which made the stay even more enjoyable. The swimming pool and spa/ gym was also a great addition to the stay. The rooms were inviting and grand with lots of original features kept. Liam (head chef) was very accommodating to our needs and would like to give him a ‘thumb's up’. All the staff were very polite and welcoming. Great place to stay and unwind.

Just had a 1 night stay here. We had the ex bridal suite which was very big and comfortable. The bathroom is new but not finished to a good standard. The fan in our room was absolutely disgustingly dirty. Broken ironing board. The bed was comfy. The whole hotel is very dated and clearly the carpets have not been hoovered in a while. The spa was ok, needs more attention on the cleaning and the jacuzzi water was full of foam which indicates it isn’t cleaned properly. The restaurant food was nice, though I had to send my stone cold garlic bread back. Breakfast was very average. My partner could not eat the poached eggs as they had been cooked in so much vinegar. All in all a very average hotel, wouldn’t be in a hurry to return, especially for £190 for 1 night ! Need lots of money spending on it.
Amy C — Google review
The room was lovely, a lot more attention to dusting and vacuuming could have been paid though. Occasionally dust the headboard and vacuum under the desk and in the wardrobes. Spa was beautiful setting and nature walks were lovely. Staff and food was exceptional.
Tab A — Google review
Sadly disappointed. I wanted to love this hotel, it had everything I love on paper, antiques, old rooms and grandure from another time..but sadly that did not portray in real life. Firstly the room, from first glance looked lovely but actually after being in it for a while there were many flaws! As you will see from the pictures! It wasn't hoovered, there is clearly something leaking from above, the picture you see is it dried but when we woke in the morning it was wet and spreading. The wall paper was peeling off the walls and the windows were dirty. As for the bathroom, firstly look at the picture of the shampoo/shower gel, that's scum!! And it's disgusting! Secondly, if you value the condition of your hair (especially women) and are using the spa, but forget your own shampoo/conditioner DO NOT use what they provide, I don't know what it was in the bottle but it absolutely ruined my hair, turned it to dry straw after using it once and I could not even get a comb through it without feeling it was going to break I had to send my husband out first thing for my usual stuff to try and fix it. There's no personal touches to this hotel, and it's on need of some tlc in places. We had room 9 and it was right next to a vent system which was noisy? Then there's the food, we had a meal at the restaurant for my husbands birthday, I wish we hadn't honestly. I chose what I thought would be a safe option, spaghetti Bolognese, you can't go wrong right? Oh you can, it was watery and tasteless, and I couldn't eat it, even my husband tried it and didn't like it and he eats anything! My husband had a steak, medium, it was medium in the middle! And the "truffle mash" wasn't truffle at all. For a restaurant charging what they charge why are you giving guests paper thin tiny napkins? Give us a proper napkins like you had on the tables in the corner where you were not seating anyone!! The breakfast choice was good though, although majority of the cooked breakfast is not cooked fresh to order.

Fish and chips takeaway
Fast food restaurant
Golden Fish & Chips Kebab House in Amlwch is a delightful culinary gem that has won over many visitors with its delicious offerings. Initially, there was some confusion regarding the kebab options, but after discovering the upgrade to naan bread, it became a much more enjoyable experience. The fish and chips are particularly noteworthy; they boast a wonderfully crispy batter paired with flavorful chips that leave diners pleasantly surprised. The generous portion sizes ensure you won't leave hungry!
Had a couple of meals from here while staying for a few days. Fish and chips one night and Cheeseburger and fries a couple of days after. Really tasty food and portion size is huge

I visited here after a fishing trip recently, a routine I follow religiously after a days fishing is to find food! However it didn't end well, I had the s***s and there was nothing else I ate I could attribute this too, with being remote all day! Ordered the cheeseburger, watched the guy put the burger on the grill and proceed to start blowing very close to the meat to get the flame lit I assume! Absolutely vile! Whilst waiting for it to cook it did come across that it was very badly organised and untidy too! Either way, if you are in the area go somewhere else! Worth also noting that I've had food after fishing a thousand times I was and clean my hands with Anti bac as a rule, ive never had issues before so can only attribute my diarrhea to this place!!
Colin P — Google review
If there are other options nearby, I'd give them a try first. This wasn't the best. The best thing I can say about it is that the food was very hot. It didn't taste of anything and was slightly under cooked. That's being said, I've had worse from more places than I should be legal.

Not sure what kind of fish they use, but the past couple of times it looks like cheap pollock or coley Peas more like pea soup & curry sauce tasteless Used to be really good

The fish and chips are always excellent. Lovely texture to the batter and the chips very tasty.
Bryn J — Google review
Usually get fish and chips, £11 so not cheap, got a burger today, chips were cold and burger was on a stale bun, this place used to be really nice but recently it is awful. And to top it off they ripped me off by overcharging, I was the only one in the shop on a friday night at 8.30pm.
Alan C — Google review
It was a service with a smile. The food was very delicious and a lot more than we could eat. The shop was clean and tidy. I highly recommend this place especially for fish and chips. We have not tried other food yet.
Demircifd — Google review
Changed my mind about this place. Originally reviewed to say the kebab wasn’t great as it came with a small pitta on the side, but it turns out I’d misread the board and I could have upgraded to a naan for £1. So I gave them another go and it was much nicer. Also, the fish and chips are excellent - much to my surprise. Only drawback is that it’s a bit expensive.
