A well known chemist, Christian Friedrich Schönbein, was born and raised in this house. Right by the Metzingen Market place, location itself is a big plus; ordered their ramp steak served along with probably the most freshly delicious salad I’ve ever had. This is restaurant is definitely a go-to if you’re visiting the outlet city. P.S. one thing to mention is that they only accept cash, remember to bring some.

A very classy place, in the middle of Metzingen Outlet City, lots of old movie posters on the wall, give you the retro feeling. Ordered their house tuna salad, Spaghetti aglio e olio, and ramp 🥩 steak. Let's start from their Spaghetti aglio e olio, so garlicy and chiliy, but the good balance will let you keep having it spoon by spoon 🥄. The best part of dinner, is the ramp steak, so tender and juicy, and perfectly seasoning, at the beginning I was trying to figure out what's the sweet taste in the beef, turned out it was the 🫐 berry sauce gently seasoned, what a nice and delicious way to cook the steak.

The food is absolutely delicious. From bruschetta, pasta, pizza, fish and perfect desserts such as tiramisu or tartufo al pistacchio or cioccolata is everything with fine taste. You can also pair the dishes with fine wines.

The place was really nice and felt Italian:) We ordered a pizza fungi and a tuna salad with cheese and ham and tomato soup for starters. The pizza was excellent and big, the salad and the soup lacked some flavour. There was no gravy in the salad so it could be better. This is my first time visiting the restaurant but my boyfriend’s family has been here over 20 years and the quality always maintains. Make sure you try the porcini pasta because it’s the best I’ve ever had! This family-run restaurant is a must-try after a long day of shopping at the outlet. Make sure you make reservations on the weekends because it does get busy.

I went to this Italian restaurant a Friday evening. We had not booked a table prior our arrival, but we managed to get a table. The place is a bit hard to find, since it is placed in a basement. We had a lovely evening. They accepted us even coming one hour before the closing, had (almost) all dishes available, and even if we were a bit late were very friendly when closing. Food was great: huge antipasti (even for 3), delicious pasta and very large and well done pizza. We loved it!

Honest review i think i got really sick with food poisoining after having their carbonara. Like major diarhea and dissiness. Almost fainted after 2hours of eating. The atmosphere was nice. Cute little place. Service of the male waitress was typical german service mind. Menu was limited they didnt have the fish sardine menu. Before going there please call and ask if they have the menu you are looking for. Otherwise will be disappointment like us.

This was a real surprise. It is just off of the main shopping area in this outlet town. The lunch special—a pizza or pasta for 6,50 including salad—seemed too good to be true. Calm, nice view, and food tastes more selfmade than expected. We had bruschetta- i liked the good middle between a bit harder bread but still not too hard - so it was still good eatable. Pizza Hawaii usually seeing more pineapple pieces on it, but meat pieces are good, and overall the amount of ingredients were a good balance. Nice to also get a little salad to the pizza, and with selfmade oil vinegar dressing.

La Bottega is a lovely Italian restaurant that you should not miss if you're in town Metzingen. I went here for a work related lunch. I got a burger without a bun and fries. It was about 16 euros for a burger without a bun and an extra 4,90 for fries. Definitely a go-to place if you're visiting Metzingen Outlet City. First of all, Fan located in a lovely traditional German house, while internally well decorated with Chinese flavors, like the Chinese painting and calligraphy hanged on the walls, also, like the red lanterns. 🏮 Food wise, they serve very good classic Chinese dishes and soups. Very disappointed with the overall restaurant and quality. Order €60 worth of food for the family to get a bun filled with dry gyros and a bit of kraut salad. The chips were fried in very old oil as the colour, smell and taste was horrible. I wanted to order an item but the owner told me it will take too long and was not very happy to make it so i decided not to take it. Very unfortunate.

Not our usual kind place to eat out, but this Taverna served amazing freshly made Balkan food! We loved the homie vibe (the owners were super fun and seemed to know everyone eating out that night, which can only mean that people love to return). The taste is 10/10 and while they have the clasic burgers in the menu, I recommend trying the TT Big Grill Teller that contains Gyros, Cevapcici and Plescavics. The weekely special is also always fresh, delicious and seasonal. Drop by for a homie dinner!

When I ordered a spring roll noodle box with hot sauce (which tastes really good btw) and the Sumup device for mobile payment didn’t work, they even offered that I could pay the next time. In the end mobile payment worked though, but I want to emphasize that the service is very customer oriented. The place is perfect for lunch break during a relaxed shopping session in Metzingen. Food is fresh and tasty, prices are absolutely reasonable.

It’s not an authentic Thai food at all. The soup is extremely salty and missing the main Thai ingredient ( Lemongrass, garlic,…) and veggie spring rolls had no vegetables. I won’t recommend at all. Perhaps all these restaurants only benefit from tired customers of the Outlet city coz quality is low and price is High!!
