American restaurant
Bar & grill
Cotton Restaurant is a trendy spot in Manchester's Historic Millyard District, offering modern American cuisine and creative drinks in a stylish setting. The restaurant features comfortable modern banquettes and an inviting atmosphere with framed photos and posters adorning the walls. Chef Jeffrey Paige, the award-winning owner, presents American favorites with a sophisticated twist on the eclectic menu. Dishes like crab cakes and Retro Meatloaf are among the popular choices.
Local to the area Will recommend Would return Meeting with family that we haven't seen in a really long time, found reviews to restaurants in the area that we live in this one came up had some wonderful ratings so we decided to try it. Also took a look at the menu and read a couple reviews. Made reservations which I'm very glad we did because it's a small restaurant and they were jampacked and we had reservations for 4 PM. We originally planned to have it for six but they were already packed and we called the day before, the area that this restaurant is located in. You would not think that it would be a top notch restaurant and have as many people as it did Our waiter whose name was Brian was very efficient and knew what he was doing. He understood. This was our first time at the restaurant and he gave us enough time to order. He separated our appetizers from our main course. He gave us time to chitchat. I thought the size of the restaurant was OK. It was a little loud because of the size of the area. It was I felt dark in the restaurant that's the type of lighting that they have that wouldn't determine me or keep me away though The prices at the restaurant for a meal were roughly $20 and up per person The portion size was great. The temperature was great. The flavoring was on point. I found the jambalaya to be a bit spicy, but still edible. Definitely if you're in the area, I would recommend stopping at this place and trying it out

10/10 recommend! We came here on a "friends night out". The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was perfect for a gathering of friends, and the food was really really good. It was quiet enough that you could hear everyone talk, which is rare. The food came out rather quickly. I got the salmon and it was exceeded my expectations. Typically, when you go to a restaurant, you know their food will be pretty good. At Cotton, the food was G-O-O-D. We will definitely be returning here again!

I am not sure I’ve ever give a restaurant 5 stars across this board but this place deserves it. I feel like it’s rare to get great food, great service and great ambiance anywhere these days, but not here at Cotton. It was all fabulous. The food was delicious and comforting. The service was also great. ALL of the staff were so genuine. I observed 3 different servers and they were all amazing with their guest. I was blown away. The outdoor patio was adorable and cozy. Highly recommend.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner last weekend. Everything was absolutely delicious! We loved everything about this place and we will definitely be back. We went on a Sat night and made reservations 2 days prior. We wer sat right away and got drinks in a reasonable amount of time. Our dinner also came out without too much of a wait. Waitress was friendly and food was SO good! I got Goat Xheese raviolies and they were probably the best raviolies I've had in a very long time. My husband got the Delmonico steak and it was cooked perfectly Med/rare that he asked for. Dessert was apple crisp cheesecake. Loved the whole experience!
Kara L — Google review
The service from a waitress, whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, was great. She was fun and friendly, and we really liked her! Pistachio Martini - OMG SO GOOODDDD The food was delicious. I ordered meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The mashed potatoes were creamy, just the way I like them, and the meatloaf was so good! I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back often! The only downside is that it closes at 8:30PM

Cotton is a fantastic spot in Manchester! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with creative dishes that really stand out. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming and stylish, perfect for a casual meal or a special night out.

If you are looking for the classiest joint in town with the best food you’ve ever had, look no further! Had the best time here with friends and can’t wait to go back.
Jeff M — Google review
We went to celebrate our anniversary on a Friday night. Everything was perfect. We were seated right away. Our server, Brian was attentive and personable. They even brought us out two glasses of champagne. It is one of our favorite places to go. The food was delicious, the drinks were delicious, the service was excellent. Thank you ~~~~~ Back yesterday for a dinner with friends. We had a crab cakes appetizer, and I had the seafood ravioli, delicious. Service was still great. This is one of the best restaurants in Manchester.

Traditional American restaurant
Steak house
Hanover Street Chophouse offers a luxurious dining experience with its elegant decor, clubby bar, and exceptional service. The restaurant's ambiance exudes an old-fashioned exclusive club vibe with leather chairs, glossy wood tables, and damask tablecloths. Executive Chef Stuart Cameron ensures that each carefully selected piece of meat is grilled to perfection. Guests have praised the attentive and professional staff who make everyone feel welcomed and special. Valet parking adds to the convenience of the visit.
Delicious food and amazing service. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavorful. Tabytha was very personable and attentive. We had a great first visit and hope to come back soon! P.S. - the peanut butter mousse was incredible.
Kayla D — Google review
This is most definitely an upscale fine dining restaurant. You need a reservation, valet parking, food & service are divine. It was our first time here and we will most definitely be back for another special occasion. Legit steakhouse in downtown Manchester - highly recommend the delmonico ribeye cut.
Sun L — Google review
Hanover Street Chophouse is the best restaurant for steaks and a great piece of meat in Manchester, NH! This was a recommendation to try and myself and colleagues absolutely loved it! The tomahawk, oysters, drinks, service, was top notch! Quality of meats and all food were excellent. A restaurant to go to with a special occasion or just a special night out. Not cheap but well worth it. Chef and owner came out to meet us. Side note, same ownership for the restaurant The Crown just down the street which is another foodie destination in Manchester.

Dinner was fabulous . Our second visit here. Out of towners & best filet mignon ever. Our special waitress was Laurie & we fell in love with her. Attentive to all our needs! She was precious! Thank you for a beautiful evening once again. We will be back next time in town! 10 out of 10.

We enjoyed a special meal for a birthday and we were very pleased. We had a reservation, and we were seated promptly. The interior is very lovely and the atmosphere is pleasant including a piano player. The menu is extensive and it features high quality cuts of beef. We selected several different steaks and the special on this Saturday night of prime rib. All were cooked to perfection and served properly. We also enjoyed some fine red wines. Finally, we had 2 lovely desserts that we split amongst our 2 couples. An extensive wine list is available as well as a full range of adult beverages. There are clean restrooms provided and valet parking out front. Otherwise there is street parking. Prices are in keeping with the fine dining atmosphere and the quality of the meats. Overall, a lovely place for a special dining experience.
Mark O — Google review
We e been going once a year on our anniversary for the past 4 years. We always look forward to our steak night here, and the servers are always so friendly and accommodating. I usually get the filet with Bleu cheese fondue and it's always perfect! My husband always raves about his steak too!
Haley — Google review
While the service and atmosphere are top rated the food was, OK. It definitely did not equal the price paid. The wine selections were nothing great and while they did have an extensive choice of spirits, the prices again were 3 times that of a more casual restaurant. My cut of beef was mediocre and dry, the sides were bland. The lobster bisque was missing one key ingredient, lobster. The gulf shrimp were large and well prepared with a delicious cocktail sauce. I was expecting a 5 star restaurant and unfortunately it was more like a 2.5
Gerry S — Google review
We had a double birthday dinner at Hanover Street Chophouse Saturday and it was FANTASTIC! We started with beverages and a wonderful crock of French Onion soup and then moved on to filets and prime rib (end cut for me of course!!) with garlic mashed potatoes, green beans and more all cooked to literal perfection. We capped off the beautiful dinner with carrot cake for two a la mode and creme brule - - both with custom birthday greetings handwritten in chocolate on a thin wafer. What a night! We actually closed the restaurant because we were so wrapped up in the wonderful experience. Top notch service from our server as well!! Highly recommended! Five Star Experience and Five Star Cuisine!!!

Bar
Firefly Bistro & Bar offers a sophisticated American menu and an extensive selection of drinks in a cozy setting with exposed brick walls and a lively bar. The restaurant's comfortable high-backed booths and soft lighting create an intimate atmosphere, making it suitable for both business meetings and romantic dinners.
We visited Firefly Bistro & Bar today for lunch. We were celebrating our 52nd wedding anniversary and we were delighted with everything. All of the personnel were so pleasant and helpful. The menu offered a reasonably diverse selection. I had the Alamo Bowl with blackened chicken and my wife had Murray's Chicken. Mine was nicely spicy and the cauliflower cheddar latke in the Murray's Chicken was an interesting addition. Because it was our anniversary, we got a free dessert (a delightful blueberry cheesecake with fruit on the side). The presentation of all our food was exceptional in addition to tasting great. Firefly Bistro & Bar is definitely on our list of places to go back and enjoy again!

Firefly Bistro & Bar in Manchester, NH is a very enjoyable restaurant. There were 4 of us and we got a table with in a few moments. Love the exposed brick inside the restaurant and the vintage feel brings things nicely together. The food was excellent with the proper portions to make one satiated. Wait staff were friendly and I would recommend going when you are in the city of Manchester.

Came here for my mom's birthday dinner, and we were all BLOWN AWAY!!! Every single thing we ate was beyond delicious. I had the scallops, and could cry it was so good. The portions were phenomenal, we were all so full!!!! Our waiter was so sweet, and SO fast, even with how packed it was! The drinks were strong and very tasty, and dessert.... I'm going to be thinking about that carrot cake until I die.

It was my first time at Firefly but my friend has been there before. We ordered shrimp grits, seafood chowder, and chili for appetizers. For our entrees we had the Lobster gnocchi and seared Tuna. Everything was Wonderful! Our server Connie was amazing. My friend has allergies and she took the time to check on the oils and the way certain foods were cooked. We had many questions. I had a great experience overall. My friend will be returning again soon.

The staff was friendly. I made reservations because it does get busy. Bar is small so seating is limited and taken up quickly. The food was delicious. Drinks were tasty. Good drink recommendations from the staff. Would def go back.
Bani D — Google review
I am in NH pretty often for work. Decided to have dinner here with about 10 other colleagues. The atmosphere was very nice and our appetizers were very tasty. However, our food was not hot when it arrived at the table. I had the boneless short rib with jasmine rice and my other colleagues had the flank steak and other foods as well. The steak was a tad bit tough and the green beans, a little garlic. Maybe the food was not as hot as it should’ve been because there were 10 of us. Needless to say the meal was still good. Just wish it was hot. I will give this place another try this time it won’t be 10 of us just me and I’m hoping the food will be hot.
K. K — Google review
My sister made reservations for a surprise birthday dinner for me before our show to see Matt Rife at the arena. The atmosphere the wait staff , the cooks, everything was like a well oiled machine. Everything was delicious and brought to us in a timely manner and we had the best time ever ! we will definitely be back.

Wide variety of food, drinks and wine. Very fresh seafood, good proportions and excellent sauces. Connie, our server, was very attentive, provided suggestions when asked and checked on us frequently. She also provided background on the restaurant since we were visiting from out of town. Great value for money.

The Foundry is a trendy, industrial-chic farm-to-table restaurant with river views, offering craft beers and creative martinis. The restaurant has a nice aesthetic and offers well-crafted drinks. While the menu is pricey, the French onion soup and poutine are recommended. However, dining at sundown may be uncomfortable due to the lack of shades on the huge windows. Despite this, it hosts a hip vibe and provides high-quality service.
Not sure what other people experience here for bad food or small.portions because that was not the case for us. All the staff were very hospitable and the food was excellent. We had a calamari appetizer then the burger and carbonara for our main entree with the cake special for dessert. Portion sizes were large and delicious. We will absolutely be bringing friends here the next time we are in town.
Sarah S — Google review
We had an unexpected surprise when we arrived for the buffet, only to realize it was a brunch menu only! The value for what we paid was average, but unfortunately one of the three items ordered came out a little overcooked, it still looked nice though :/ If they need to upcharge for certain food items, that would have been better than doing away with a buffet they were known for. Service was fantastic, but you could hear the other diners’ reactions and that made for a disappointed atmosphere. We’ll be back… someday….
S H — Google review
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. As soon as we walked in - hostess Alice started literally YELLING at us saying why 7 people came, instead of the six booked. Really?! We did not ask for any extra tables or anything, just one chair. It was just 7 people instead of six and you are making a big deal out of it. This lady needs to learn manners and how to treat customers. The menu was the same as two years ago. The salmon soup was cold and bland, I got heartburn from it. The cod was ok, just barely passing the border of disapproving. Food was overpriced if we compare the quality and the menu. We paid $65 per person, one entree and appetizer, no drinks. The extra star goes to Spencer, our waiter who is the only person that deserves anything in this restaurant. The restaurant has lost its luster due to the poor menu and bad customer service.
Marika Y — Google review
Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was phenomenal. The poutine was probably my favorite. As well as the brown butter ice cream. The steak and risotto were also fantastic. The waiter we had was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

The burger special, "holy curd burger", was very good. Exact right amount of toppings to eat as is. The corn risotto tasted great as well.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Visit Culinary Gem in Manchester! The Foundry absolutely nails the gastropub experience. From the first bite to the last, every dish had us talking. 🔥 The Burger – This beauty was stacked with crispy fried onions, smoky bacon, melted cheese, and a juicy patty cooked to perfection. The soft bun held everything together like a champ. It’s messy, it’s bold, and it’s worth every bite. 🥪 The Lamb Sandwich – A revelation! Tender, slow-roasted lamb paired with earthy mushrooms, gooey melted cheese, and a vibrant pesto that brought the whole thing to life. The press on the bread gave it the perfect crunch. This is not your average sandwich—this is a flavor bomb. 🍟 Poutine – Comfort food at its finest. Thick, golden fries topped with rich brown gravy and melty cheese curds that squeaked just right. It’s the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is. 🥬 Crispy Brussels Sprouts – Perfectly charred and crisped, these were addictive. They had just the right seasoning and were clearly made with care. A great way to sneak in some greens while still feeling indulgent. Whether you're out for a date night, grabbing drinks with friends, or just in serious need of a satisfying meal, The Foundry delivers. Stylish atmosphere, attentive service, and food that punches way above its weight. 👏 Bravo to the team—Manchester has a winner here.
Victor O — Google review
First visit; loved it. Got there when it opened and snagged a table by the window. Enjoyed a bottle of Lassegue Bordeaux. Several vegetarian and vegan options. Great service! Will definitely return.
Valerie L — Google review
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Foundry, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The handmade cocktails were nothing short of spectacular. The Apple and Fig Margarita was a perfect blend of sweet and tart, while the Raspberry and Mint cocktail offered a refreshing, aromatic twist—both were crafted with precision and creativity. For happy hour, we indulged in the Brussels sprouts, which were crispy and well-seasoned, and an excellent start to the meal. As for the main dishes, the ribeye steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The oysters were fresh and vibrant, and the burgers were juicy and packed with taste. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the presentation was on point. The service was a standout feature—our large party of 14 was handled with incredible care and attention. The staff made sure everything was running smoothly, with seamless coordination and friendly, attentive service. Despite the large group, we never felt rushed or overlooked. The atmosphere at Foundry was lively yet relaxed, with a modern industrial vibe that complemented the exceptional food and drinks. Overall, Foundry combines top-tier food, drinks, and customer service, making it a perfect choice for any occasion. Highly recommend it!

Café Momo is a charming spot in Manchester that offers a delightful experience of Nepalese cuisine. The restaurant's unassuming backdrop sets the stage for an intimate dining experience, where guests can savor exotic dishes and enjoy beer and wine. The menu features a variety of rich and flavorful options, including Vegetable MOMO, Gundruk soup, Nepali Thali, tofu, lamb, dumplings, and Ramas Chicken.
Excellent restaurant a real jewel of Manchester. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. We had Vegetable MOMO (Vegan) Minced Vegetable ,Ginger/Garlic and other spices wrapped in a dough, Gundruk soup and the best was Nepali Thali (Vegetarian) (Served with Rice, Dal, Vegetable Curry, Gundruk (Fermented Pickle) , Aloo Aachar, Aloo Tama, Garden Salad and Ghee. Beware the food can be very hot. I most try restaurant when in Manchester.

Soup momo was something different from usual. It was very delicious. One wasn’t enough!! They also gave us generous amount of chili sauce which was “twaka”(right amount of spice) for my pallet. Chicken taas was more like fajita and it taste yum as well!! Staffs were really sweet. Would have given 5 star if the portion was a bit more for the price.

My boyfriend took me here for lunch last week. I had tofu and he had lamb, the food and service was excellent as always. I have been several times over the last 9 years and enjoyed every visit. On this occasion I was introduced to a complimentary cup of masala tea (an Indian version of chai tea with a sweetened milk) which was a delightful surprise on a cold day. Come visit this hidden treasure.

Cute place with complimentary chai (got 2 refills), twas good and then we ordered 1 mix plate of momos (chicken, buffalo, wild boar) and 1 veg momos. Chicken momos were really good and fresh. We ended up ordering another plate. Be prepared it can take up to ~ 15 mins to get your order since their preparations are so fresh. Would definitely recommend it!!!

Great take on authentic Nepali food. The goat meat curry was amazing with the thali that I ordered. We also ordered momo and goat bhutan, both were also amazing. I would definitely recommend this Nepali place. The rabri (Nepali dessert) was a cherry on the cake. Def coming back!!!

I come here as often as I can and encourage all to do the same! They have countless delicious options on their menu, a cozy atmosphere, and the staff is always incredibly friendly and kind. People who are vegan will find many options, I always go with the “Tofu Chile” pictured here, it’s delicious! My meat-eating friends who I’ve brought here are always super impressed and love the flavor-packed food and many choices!

You HAVE to try this place! Our anniversary dinner was flawless. Absolutely delicious apps (coconut shrimp and artichoke/sgrimp/crab dip), generous and full of taste entrees and service/ambience- just great. Keep up the good work!

The "Hooked" restaurant isnt open, so you're seated on the side of Ignite. Its small so you might wait a few minutes. The owner herself is working and she's very nice. I Ordered oysters on the half shell. They are from Connecticut. They were not cleaned thoroughly so I had a good amount of sand and grit. The sword fish with lobster meat unfortunately both over cooked although the flavor was good. Ill be back to try again
Irenemarie — Google review
Very friendly service and I think owner was helping the staff with different activities. Overall Good food but not wow… the oysters were from Connecticut, extremely small, not l very well cleaned and sand could be feel. The cioppino was ok with same kind of concern: clams, mussels, and scallops need a lit more attention to be cleaned well before cooking because of the sand which could ruin the food

I am happy I insisted to my best friend we made a stop over to this place. The lobster roll was Aaaamazing! The staff are very thorough. We had an amazing lunch last weekend. I highly recommend this place.

Atmosphere, it was dark and cozy. Our waitress was delightful. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was great. I highly recommend you visit this restaurant.
Kaycee G — Google review
I was dragged here by family. I wasn't that hungry, but man, I wish I had been hungrier. The day I went, lobster bisque was the soup of the day. I got a bowl of that; so good, a little rich, but they give you just the perfect amount. A local mom-and-pop restaurant, our waitress was fantastic. There was an older lady—I'm guessing it was the owner—who went around making sure everything was going promptly with her staff and food. For instance, the table in front of us had an issue. I could overhear the owner taking care of it. I love when you go to a local place that takes pride in its food and business, and makes sure the customer is happy and satisfied. Remember, all restaurants can have off days. Their desserts are made in-house. My table shared a peanut butter cheesecake and a lemon blueberry cheesecake. Man, I could just go back for the desserts, LOL. Great place. If I ever visit that area again, I will surely stop by for dinner and bring my appetite.

The drinking hot cocoa is superb, and the chocolate produced at this establishment is a delightful fusion of culinary and artistic mastery. The descriptions used to portray their confections may be somewhat obscure, but given that they specialize in designer, gourmet chocolate, it seems appropriate to label their creations as extraordinary, enigmatic, or ambitious. One savors each bite slowly in an attempt to discern the intricate flavor profiles.
We ventured into the Dancing Lion Chocolate before a show at the Rex. Wow the whole experience was imsersive to a whole new level. The brownie and bonbons were utterly divine. The packagine was thoughtfully presented and unique. The coffee lattes were delicious again presentation in a homemade pottery bowl. I stopped in the shop because I have heard nothing but positive things about it and I love a local chocolatier! I was immediately greeted by Angel, who was very knowledgeable about their products, process, and mission. Very ethically sourced and mindfully created. I can't wait to go back and have the hot chocolate for 2!

I read about The Dancing Lion on line so I decided to go in to try the hot chocolate. I am so glad I did. The service was top notch, and the owner, Rich came out to say hello. The chocolate case is full of beautiful chocolate art too beautiful 😍 to eat. The hot chocolate was divine and so rich, the best hot chocolate I ever had. The energy here is full of light and love. They are MASTERS in their craft. You have to try this place, you will be glad you did.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. What they have also changes so if you like something you'd bette buy extra and if you can't find anything, stop by in a few weeks and you might. I got the best ice cream I've ever had and a bar I've yet to try but I'm excited about. It's a bit expensive, but the price gets you diverse beans sources ethically. They are REALLY serious about their chocolate.

Beautiful art made of chocolate, and delicious too. I tried the homemade marshmallow covered with wight chocolate and it was wonderful! The design of the store is lovely, the employee and the owner were so nice, positive vibes, don't miss the place when you're in the area! 😊

The drinking chocolate is excellent and the chocolate they make here is just as much artwork as it is edible candy. The adjectives used to describe the chocolate can be a bit obtuse, but it’s designer, gourmet chocolate so if they want to call a piece of chocolate “spectacular,” “mysterious,” or “ambitious,” it seems fitting. I never ate a piece of chocolate more slowly as I tried to taste the notes of flavor in the chocolate. The blue chocolate bar we ate looked like a computer motherboard but tasted fantastic.
M R — Google review
Had a visit for the "Truffle Tasting Shindig" and was wowed by what I learned and tasted. This was my second of hopefully many visits to the Dancing Lion. If you haven't been to this establishment, you probably haven't really tasted chocolate. I know I hadn't, but now my eyes are open to the possibilities about what chocolate can be. Thank you for the experience, Richard and Crew!

This chocolate shop is unlike any I’ve ever been to. Their selections are few, and presented in a museum-case like display. At first glance it might look pompous and self-important, but once you get a taste of their products, it all starts to make sense. They’re famous for their drinking chocolate, of which I got European style, with a bit of milk. I have to tell you, as I told the kind lady at the counter, that this was literally the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had in my life. The hot drinks are served in these quaint little ceramic bowls that you have to handle with delicate care with both hands, drinking as you would a warm bowl of soup, which only adds to the experience of this unique shop. I bought a bar of chocolate (yuzu pineapple cacao) to take home, which was quite pricey, but I couldn’t help but be seduced by the promised flavor combination and the beautiful presentation that makes it look like abstract art. It was almost too precious to eat. But when I took a bite, I understood the price and the pride they take in their chocolates. This is light years beyond simple chocolate- the delicate flavors and even the textures of the smooth white chocolate contrasted with the crunchy geodes of sugar complete with the chewy dried fruits was such a complex and intriguing chocolate-eating experience. I found myself craving the drinking chocolate the day after, and can’t wait to go back.

Restaurant
Mangia Italian Restaurant is a cozy and inviting eatery that offers a blend of traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine in a laid-back setting. The menu boasts an extensive selection, including appetizers, soups, salads, pizzas with various toppings, house-made pasta dishes, seafood entrees, sandwiches, and delectable desserts. The attentive staff ensures that diners savor classic favorites like alfredo and carbonara alongside house specialties such as veal parmigiana and filet mignon.
Very homely Italian vibe. The Maria Rosa sauce was amazing. I tried the gnocchi which was very light. The bruschetta and garlic bread were really tasty. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely. This is a great spot for a date night.

Arrived on location to find plenty of on street parking. This is my first time going to this restaurant. Arrived for my reservation for 5 and was promptly seated. Ordered drinks that arrived quickly and they brought hot tasty bread too. Ordered our food and waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for it to arrive. The food is delicious and very hot made to order which explains the length for preparation and cooking. The quality was outstanding and everyone enjoyed their meal. The restaurant is very clean and cosy. A real nice place for a date or special occasion. I would go again. Reservations and plenty of time strongly recommended.

A wonderful spot to relax with friends and fantastic food! All meals are “made to order” and the staff tells you to anticipate a wait right away. Not a single bite was disappointing and our entire group appreciated our experience. Pictured is the antipasto, tortellini, ravioli, chicken parm, and penne rigate. For dessert, we sampled the cannoli, chocolate cake, and pistachio gelato. The gelato was the favorite of the bunch!

Wonderful with amazing food. You can tell the chef takes pride in the meals they prepare. Meghan, their new server, was very attentive, fun and helpful. My son said “this is the best meal I’ve ever had”. So clearly he enjoyed it. Great experience and a true hidden gem.

After researching restaurants for our one night in Manchester, I made reservations a week in advance. We prefer eating in family run establishments. The restaurant is cute, clean and cozy. The food is average. The service was poor. We waited 15 minutes for water and another 20+ minutes for our wine. Our food finally arrived almost two hours later and only one salad was brought out so we waited another 15 minutes for the second. Bizarre. The waitress failed to keep us informed as to why it was such a long wait and didn’t check back if we wanted more cocktails, water, or wine. We gave her grace as she was only 20, but it was a long night nonetheless. Yes, there was a sign stating everything was made from scratch so patience was appreciated, but there’s no way sauces are made individually. Bolognese, some pasta, and a Caesar salad should be a fairly quick turn around-even a hour would have been fine. The only other dish we ordered was chicken Marsala which is a very thin piece of chicken which cooks quickly. We were all baffled. Plus, none of us expected to be eating a heavy meal at 9:00 PM.

The food was phenomenal. It took a little bit to get there but the shift does a great job. If you're looking for a nice date night or even surprise a friend with a good meal, this is it. The atmosphere there is wonderfully quiet with Italian music playing in the background.

Came here on New Years Eve on the way south from a vacation I had up in Conway. This is a small, neat little place in downtown Manchester, which, luckily for us, was open late on a day where not much else was. I thought it was funny how many times our server said to expect a wait because everything was made from scratch (this was mentioned at least 5 times). There was a bit of a wait, but nothing was unreasonable. The food was pretty good, nothing really mind-blowing, but I did enjoy the caramelized onions in my spinach and veal dish. I'd say that what you get is a little small and of modest quality given the price as compared to some of the other places I've been which is why I can't really give them a full five stars. The garlic was a little underdone on our garlic bread, the sauces were a little on the thin side, the parmesean was suspiciously fine, just little things here and there that kept it from being perfect. Overall this is a pretty good spot for Italian with friendly staff, classic decor, and pretty good food. Definitely a safe bet if that is what you're in the mood for.
Nicholas K — Google review
By far my favorite Italian restaurant in the southern NH area, even the whole state so far. This place is the real deal. Everything is made fresh to order, and you can definitely taste that it is. Because of this, the food will take slightly longer than normal but it's worth the wait every time. I do recommend having a reservation because it's a pretty small place so it could full up fast. And because it's small, it could get a little loud but you can still hear your conversations at your table. This place used to be BYOB but they have it so you can order mixed drinks and beer too. Not a huge selection of beer but it'll do. I would like to see some IPAs available but it actually is kind of good they don't have any because those would fill you up so much, that you won't be able to eat as much of the delicious food. The espresso martini I ordered was one of the best ones I've had, definitely recommend it. As far as the food, the warm crispy bread with the dipping oil was so addicting to it, I couldn't stop. We ordered the bruschetta as well and I'm glad I got a 2piece because the pieces of bruschetta are HUGE. And to no surprise these were amazing. For the main meal, I got the chicken parm. This chicken just melts in your mouth it's so tender and cooked to perfection along with the sauce all on it and on the pasta. Top notch chicken parm, my favorite chicken parm anywhere. My girlfriend got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and like my chicken, it melted in your mouth. This dish also didn't taste heavy like some Alfredo dishes are. Also an important thing, they do accommodate a severe peanut/ treenut allergy. We did not have a problem with that. I cant recommend this place enough. The chef Angelo really knows how to make an authentic Italian meal the right way and I will never stop coming back!

American restaurant
Restaurant
Puritan Backroom Restaurant is a laid-back establishment known for its classic American meals, particularly its famous chicken tenders. These tenders are said to be the best around, with a perfect balance of sweetness and savory flavors in the lightly breaded strips. The restaurant offers a charming atmosphere with solid service and clean surroundings. In addition to the renowned chicken tenders, other dishes like scallop rolls and steaks are also highly recommended.
I finally had the chance to visit Puritan Backroom in Manchester, NH — and wow, it completely lived up to the hype! The famous chicken tenders are hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired with their signature duck sauce, which is somehow both sweet and savory at the same time. Just incredible. One plate came with crispy golden onion rings that were light and not greasy, and another with fries that hit that perfect salty crunch. Service was friendly and fast, even with a packed house. The atmosphere is welcoming and full of local charm, you can tell this is a spot people have been coming to for generations. If you're in New Hampshire and haven't eaten here, you're seriously missing out. Puritan Backroom is a true local gem and worth every bite. 10/10, I’ll be back again (and again)!

Local to the area Will recommend Will return Decided it was about time to try the chicken tenders the famous chicken tenders. I ordered online and drove to pick up. It was very easy convenient and fast. When I got there, the order was ready and it was very hot and it had all of the stuff that I ordered properly in regards to the four different flavors of sauces I didn’t add any flavoring to my chicken tenders. The portion size is perfect for two hungry adults and even at that we had a leftovers for the next day. Without any sauce, the breading on the tender is not a breading so to speak it’s almost like a powdered rub not saying that’s a bad thing just for people with textures and wondering if they’re breaded The meat was very juicy very tender size of the tenders were great and there’s this sweet taste to them. I’m not sure what it was, but that was good and I didn’t alter the flavor or the taste at all by adding any salt because I didn’t need to. price forget about price this was a great price for the amount of food you received and for the quality of the tenders

I usually love the food here. Chicken tenders are the best and that's needless to say. However, in my recent visit, I got salmon. It was overcooked and dry for some reason. I am guessing seafood isn't the specialty? But everything else was great. The service is always amazing and atmosphere is always welcoming.

Kicked things off with the chicken quesadillas and wow… SO good! Then we had the chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and honestly, they hit the spot. Crispy, tasty, and super satisfying. Definitely a place I’d go back to when I’m craving comfort food! 🤤
Eileen — Google review
I think my chicken tenders were stale because they were not juicy or flavorful. The portions were great but wish the waitress had told us that it was enough tenders for two people. I ordered the full tenders and chicken and fries for my two year old. Way too many mediocre chicken. Would have wasted less food. My husband loved his steak and cheese sandwich. Didn’t try the desserts but wish we did because they looked great. Don’t go if you’re in a rush. Waited for the check for about 20 minutes.
Lauren D — Google review
I got takeout so I cant comment on the atmosphere. The chicken tenders were certainly better than the average, but so is the price. The duck sauce and coleslaw were really sweet, almost like a syrup. For the so called inventor of chicken tenders, you just get what you pay for. The ice cream is good, but generally slightly more expensive pound for pound compared to most places. I still found a Kiddie size to be plenty for me. The line for takeout wasnt long, but they still take a bit to get to you.
Ben C — Google review
Food wasn't great. Waiting staff was extremely racists. I was not immediately seated like the pair of two white men who came in AFTER me. In addition, all the other tables around us were given bread but our waitress did NOT bring it over. We were ignored and I will not be coming back.

I’ve had plenty of meals here during my undergrad years in the late 1980’s; it was just as great now as it was then. The place is brighter and still busy on a Friday lunch. Keep being awesome! Thanks.

Excellent food and exquisite service. I strongly recommend to visit and taste farm-to-table Mediterranean cuisine. Also good/different cocktails

The food was delicious! The outdoor seating offered an interesting veiw of passerbys up close, including squirrels and a dog who loved a free 🐕 dish of water the restaurant offered. Service was good, but, I was surprised when after I ordered an appetizer, hummus with olive oil and bread, that I was asked "Is that it?" . I also had to ask for a dessert menu. I had three people for service and all were friendly. I had a French dish for my meal, an Arnold Palmer, ice tea with lemonade and maple syrup, for a drink and German chocolate cake for dessert. I recommend this restaurant. Only thing that took away from the experience was the loud motorcycles and music from car stereos. Wifi available.

We've been loyal patrons since almost day one. Farm to Table European style bistro with a Mediterranean flair. Great standard menu items, from small plates and salads to distinctive entrees, flatbreads, and paninis. Speaking of which, try the Kelly Brook Farm sandwich at your earliest convenience. The specials are always just that - usually an amazing vegetarian option along with something meaty and delicious and a couple of killer seafood options. In fact, I've never enjoyed seafood as much as I have at Republic over the past few years. As good as lunch and dinner are, don't forget to try breakfast as well. Amazing coffee, and traditional breakfast flair with a twist. Eggs are always perfect. The room is not huge, but even on the busiest nights it maintains an intimate charm and a great community atmosphere. A lot of credit is due to the wait staff, many of whom have been around from the beginning, or at least for several years. Some have even become friends over time and you can see that is the case for many of the other patrons as well. Great place, great food, great people... a true Manchester gem.
Ed K — Google review
We had an average lunch. The problems were that our waiter talked fast and too softly for the background noise in the restaurant, so we had to keep asking him to repeat. Ultimately we got up to go read the specials on the board next to the bar. The food was good, but nothing special, just unique ingredients with little spice or zest. My wife didn't want fries with her burger, but the up-charge for a salad was more than she was willing to pay, so she got the fries. They were soft, greasy, luke warm and too salty. The fritatta special was good, but needed some spices to make it something more than a open faced omelette with lettuce on top. I added the ground black pepper. Ultimately, we were disappointed with our lunch because we had heard such good reviews. The bright spot was that the manager did everything he could to make it right, so the service was good.

Nice, atmospheric place with plenty of space inside. The food was pretty good overall, but the pizza was too oily. We also tried a few of non-alcoholic cocktails and they weren’t really good.

This has to be one of the best pizza spots in Manchester, NH! The thin crust is absolute perfection—crispy, light, and packed with flavor. The variety is impressive, and everything we tried was outstanding: the classic Margherita, the hearty Rustic, the always-loved Pepperoni, and even the Mac and Cheese pizza (yes, it’s as good as it sounds!). One of the unexpected highlights? The leftovers. Toss them in the air fryer the next day and they taste just as fresh and delicious as when they first came out of the oven. It’s also a great place to bring a crowd—perfect for family dinners, big groups, or casual events. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Top-notch pizza without breaking the bank. If you’re in Manchester and craving pizza, this is the spot to hit!

The apps were really good, the pizza was good but I've had better tasting dough. And the Mac and cheese was very bland (I had to add alot of salt and pepper) and tasted like they used a weird cheese like brie or Grier that made it smelly. Not award winning at all. The mule was not very great either but I don't see many places around here able to do a good mule. Our server was nice, fast but didn't say her name and was very to the point and didn't seem friendly but not rude. Probably because it was very packed and loud. Id come again but probably not for a while or on a different day and time

Pizzas for the family which wood fired, I didn’t expect anything else but greatness and we were not disappointed. They have a great beer selection. Atmosphere was awesome and our waitress, Olivia, was amazing and made the experience that much better. I would highly recommend. And thank you Olivia!

We went on Sunday and we really love it everything… we ordered pasta and pizza… I've eaten spaghetti in many restaurants and they just can't get past the average. But here, the sauce ratio and the cooking time of the pasta were very good. And the pizza had plenty of ingredients and thin crust, so we didn't just eat dough. We love much and ofcourse will come back…

We stopped in last night after a rough day . We live over an hour away and have been to Mr Mac’s before, but we aren’t in the area often. The young man who took our order was beyond kind. As was the young lady who brought us our food order. They made sure we made everything we needed and wished us a safe trip home, also. It made my whole day.. we loaded up on the goods to take home … a veggie Mac , steak and cheese mac and a wonderful Greek salad with your homemade dressing (highly recommend it all) . Although the food is always good when we stop in , kindness is just as important. Thank you for that and please never change :)

Hibachi done well. Looked very good. Chicken and steak cooked well but could have used more flavor. A bit pricey averaging $26 a plate. I suppose that is due to paying for the show of the chef cooking. Good for an occasional meal but it would end up costing a lot for the entire family if going often. About $40/person with drink and tip.

Miso soup, sashimi and pad Thai was delicious. Interiors design and the music selection was more like a night club. Fun dining experience.

Masa Japanese restaurant is a cherished favorite, renowned for its delectable food and extensive menu. Diners can enjoy a wide variety of dishes, including the ever-popular hibachi, which offers an entertaining and delicious dining experience. While the food consistently delights, the cocktails leave a bit to be desired, suggesting room for improvement in the beverage department. The ambiance at Masa is dark and comfy, providing a cozy and intimate setting perfect for a relaxed meal. Despite the cocktails, the overall experience at Masa keeps it as one of the top spots to enjoy Japanese cuisine.

For a decision prompted by hibachi along my route, Google chose well! The staff are so welcoming, I had an excited 6 year old with me and she had a blast! The food was delicious and the entertainment at the grill made it a great value for money and experience! Definitely on my list to visit again!

This was our first time trying Masa after seeing so many great reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We went for lunch on a Friday and were seated on the dining side. The atmosphere was unexpectedly dark, with loud dance club music playing. It felt more like a late-night dive bar than a lunch spot. The menu was surprisingly limited, and it was difficult to hear our waitress over the music. The miso soup was gross. My husband spat his out. I tried a few sips and agreed we should not eat it. Additionally, the bowls were chipped in several places and I had to clean something off my soy sauce dish before using it, which didn’t inspire confidence. My husband’s only compliment was that his sushi was rolled well, but neither tasted fresh. The California rolls were made with imitation crab but still tasted oddly fishy, and the ginger was dried out and browning around the edges. I should have known better than to eat it, but I was hungry. Unfortunately, both of us became very sick afterward. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend Masa and definitely won’t be returning.

LongHorn Steakhouse is a casual chain that offers a variety of American dishes in a ranch-style setting. Their menu includes chicken specialties, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and their renowned steaks. Additionally, they serve salmon, ribs, chops, and combo dinners. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is consistently pleasant. While it may not be the best steakhouse in the world, LongHorn always delivers fresh food at reasonable prices.
Well seasoned, well prepared and nicely textured steak. Good sides (sweat potatoes, mashed potatoes, fries, and many more). Freshly cut and nicely seasoned salades (different options going from common dressing to more fruity tones) served part of the meal. Restaurant located on the ground floor. Restrooms and tables easily accessible for patrons with reduced mobility. Alot of parking space around the restaurant.

Guys listen, it's Long Horn. They offer American food at reasonable prices. It's not perfect, but the food is always fresh, and the service is consistently pleasant. Is it the best steak house in the world? Probably not, but they always pull through when we don't know what we feel like eating. The French onion soup was decent, a little salty for my liking. The side salad is always fresh.

I still haven't found a Longhorn that I like or that the food is good at. The service was great! The food was pretty standard. I got a steakhouse burger, and it was under cooked and tasted bland. I am not surprised seeing this has happened at the other longhorns I've been to. I have had better frozen microwaveable burgers.

So disappointed this used to be my favorite restaurant. I was just passing through and wanted a nice meal, but instead got the worst service ever. The server could barely look me in the eye. At first, I didn’t notice because I was on a business call, but once I realized I wasn’t being treated the same as others, I started paying attention. I spoke to the manager about the service and why I believed it happened, and his response was to offer me a dessert. Offering dessert as a response to discrimination is beyond unacceptable — it’s insulting. If you look different from most people in this town, I’d suggest skipping this place.

Fine dining restaurant
Nestled in the heart of downtown Manchester, Campo Enoteca is a modern bar and bistro that redefines Italian dining with its farm-to-table approach. This charming eatery offers an array of delectable dishes made from scratch, including house-made pasta, arancini, calamari, and freshly grilled pizzas. The menu showcases innovative takes on traditional Italian fare—think bucatini paired with guanciale or tender beef osso bucco sourced from local farms.
Our experience at Campo Enoteca was exceptional, and we wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. We decided to go all out, indulging in drinks, appetizers, main courses, and dessert. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The evening began with warm, homemade bread that set the tone for what was to come. We started with two appetizers—calamari and the house-made ricotta—and both were absolutely delicious, providing the perfect introduction to the meal. For our main courses, we sampled a variety of dishes, including several homemade pastas (Roman Carbonara and beef Osso Bucco), fish (Branzino), and chicken (Chicken Parmesan). Each dish was expertly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented (sorry for the so so pics). The portions were generous, leaving us with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. Dessert was the grand finale—a classic tiramisu that was just as delightful as it was visually stunning. The service was every bit as impressive as the food, if not better. Our server, Kelly, went above and beyond to ensure our night was unforgettable. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful, checking in frequently without being intrusive. To top it all off, she surprised us with a candle in our tiramisu to celebrate a birthday, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to an already wonderful evening. Campo Enoteca offers not just a meal but an experience. We can't wait to return!

Campo Enoteca is a Hidden Gem for Italian Food Lovers We decided to celebrate a special event with dinner and went to this charming Italian eatery in the heart of downtown Manchester. This place is cozy yet modern, and saw variety of folks from date nights to relaxed dinners with friends. Being strict vegetarians, our expectations are low when we go to typical American restaurants, so we usually go to Italian or Mexican or Asian restaurants. This place completely surprised us with majority of the items on the menu vegetarian. We ordered Pistachio Pesto, Butternut Squash Rauioli, Uegan Crispy Cauliflower and the Vegan Broccoli Pizza. Lady gave us bread and spices in olive oil (similar to Carrabba's), which is absolutely delicious. Every single dish we tried is so unique and not even close to anything we have ever tried before. Oh yes, we are definitely going back and this is our new favorite place for sure!!!

Nice cafe , we went there for a quick lunch. I ordered a Greek salad, which was good. I was planning to order fried feta but learned they cook on canola oil, oh well. The salad was a safer option. The dressing for the salad was pretty tasty, felt like lemon and some herbs. Not too many people, so we were able to enjoy our lunch. The extra star goes to the charming lady who served our table.

I have been to this restaurant 4 times in 2 months, trying something new every time. I have yet to have something I didn’t make inappropriate moaning sounds while eating! This is the most amazing food! The atmosphere is upscale casual, prices are very affordable, and the staff and owners are the absolute best! My waistband may rue the day I walked into this hidden gem, but my stomach is in a torrid love affair with their ricotta! Trust me, you need this in your life!

Love it here! Super fresh pasta thats made in House and amazing unique sauces that are really tasty. I got the lobster ravioli it was delicious. I love the oil and bread they give you. The bread tastes so fresh and is chewy/salty honestly the best. Their drinks are great too! I got a lemoncello martini and their drinks on special Prickly Pear Mojito. The drinks tasted great, were inspired, and looked really pretty. One of my fav spots for Italian food!

We went here on recommendation from a coworker and were really excited for some tasty, fresh Italian food. We ordered a mixture of cocktails and wine, as well as the feta bites (delicious and unique). I don't recall all of our entrees, but I remember leaving the restaurant wondering if I'd find it worth it to come back. I also think our server, Sam, was either overworked or distracted because it took us quite a long time to get the bill from her.

The Crown Tavern is a vibrant establishment with a spacious outdoor area, offering creative New American dishes and pizza in a chic retro setting. The ambiance exudes an inviting 1920s/1930s Art Deco style, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests have praised the exceptional service and the freshness of the well-prepared food, particularly highlighting the delectable pepperoni pizza topped with hot honey.
The pizza is can’t miss! We had the hot honey and pepperoni and it was amazing - kitchen was kind enough to make it half meat since my wife is vegetarian. The cocktails were great. Bar service was awesome. Make a reservation !

After the Queen tribute at Palace we decided to try the crown tavern. It’s a very nice spot we got there pretty early luckily for us. Got a nice table by the window. Although the menu is limited the selections were excellent. A little pricey, 1/2 doz oysters are $19. Wife had a nice Chardonnay I had a very good red sangria it had hints of peach, very refreshing. For eats we had 2 salads the chicken tender appetizer and I had the flank steak, wifey also had the butternut squash bisque, definitely a must have. The flank steak was almost fork tender and juicy, ordered it medium so the meat tenderizes but still very juicy. Michael was our server, he was very helpful and in point with delivery and suggestions. Definitely consider stopping in if you’re in the area or after a show at the Palace!! Only gave 4 stars because the menu is limited but everything was fabulous. Cheers.

Great American Fare In a Historic Building A great first experience at the crown. The food here is excellent, there is no doubt about that. What really brings this place to life is the setting. The old crown theatre revived into a restaurant with a stunning interior. It feels as if you have stepped back into the first half of the 20th century. Although the menu is limited, it makes up for it in quality and uniqueness. The Veal Holstein with spätzle is now one of my favorite dishes in Manchester. The Bolognese my girlfriend ordered had the quality of an upscale Italian restaurant. Also one of the largest drink menus I have come across in Manchester. The whiskey menu is extensive.

Took my husband for his 70 birthday. We sat on the patio as it was a beautiful evening. The waiter was exceptional. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Specifically there was a dish on the appetizer menu with fresh mozzarella, baked apples, walnuts and arugula. The waiter suggested we order a bread with it and we asked him to pick what he thought would go best. He brought us a fresh baked Pita bread still puffed with air. The combination of all these fresh ingredients wrapped up in the warmth of the fresh thin pita bread was an experience everyone must have. I know I will be back.

El Rincon Zacatecano Taqueria is a casual Mexican eatery offering a variety of traditional dishes like tacos, enchiladas, and gluten-free options. The restaurant has a modest one-room setup and can get quite busy, indicating the popularity of its food. While some customers have experienced slow service, many praise the delicious food, generous portions, and flavorful drinks like horchata and margaritas.
My family and I stopped in for a late lunch. We ordered kids chicken burrito, a Birria quesadilla, Chilaquiles with red sauce, shredded chicken tostadas and a side of Guacamole. We also shared a “Jamaican” margarita- which is their version of a skinny marg. The food was delicious and well seasoned. The margarita was amazing and very fresh- definitely enough to share. There was so much food that we left with boxes. Highly recommend for freshness and quality. Also, GF and vegetarian options.

We came here after asking around for authentic Mexican food, and a woman from Mexico suggested this place – and I’m so glad she did. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, friendly, and attentive! I started off with their spicy Jeremy drink, which came with a Tajín rim – such a fun touch that really elevated the drink. The jalapeno-infused flavor was satisfying! The salsa they served was fantastic, so fresh and flavorful, probably one of the best I’ve had in a while. For my meal, I ordered the Chori Pollo Enchilada, and it was bursting with flavor. Every bite was delicious! My partner went with the Chori Carne, and he absolutely loved it too – it was cooked perfectly with a great mix of spices. Overall, this place felt authentic and welcoming.
Sharanya S — Google review
I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best Mexican I have ever had in my life. Literally EVERYTHING on the menu is SO good. The carnitas burrito was MASSIVE and I couldn’t even finish it because I ate to much queso (legitimately the best queso I have ever eaten). And don’t even get me started on the margaritas. I was here on a work trip and my coworkers and I discovered this place a few days into our trip and and we went two straight nights before we had to leave (had we discovered it on day one, I’m pretty sure we would have eaten here 5 days in a row). The Cancún Margarita was the absolute best drink I have drank in my life. Each drink is made with love and makes you realize that not all margaritas are made equal. And to top it all off, I have to give a MASSIVE shoutout to the waitress Paulina. She was always so kind and she remembered our names the second day we ate there. Top notch service, food and vibes. Do NOT judge this place by the outside, trust me when I tell you this is where you want to eat dinner!

Don't let the small size of this restaurant fool you. This place is amazing. The service is great and the food is top notch. Had a chicken chimichanga. This was full of shredded white meat chicken. By far, the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant. The menu is quite extensive. Too many great options.

One of the more authentic Mexican spots in manchester. Vast menu with things you will not find at other places, at a decent price. High marks for the Torta milanesa (fried steak cutlet) and quasebirria. Cozy and simple interior with great service. Will definitely be coming back for dinner, and looking forward to trying the tripe stew.

Stopped into this restaurant for dinner. Looked a little underwhelming from the outside especially with how the Japanese place next door looks. It was the only underwhelming thing! The salsa they give with chips when you sit down is great! A tiny bit of a kick and super flavorful. The Horchata had a perfect blend of flavors as well. Got a cheese dip and chipotle chicken chimichanga which came with rice and refried beans. All so delicious! Normally I’m not a huge fan of refried beans, but these tasted great. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. The staff were very friendly when I initially walked in, and it did get pretty busy after that but the staff were doing their best to get to all the tables and make sure everything was going well. So much food as well for the price. If you are in the area you should stop by!

Nestled in the heart of Manchester, Chez Vachon is a delightful breakfast and lunch haven that celebrates French-Canadian cuisine. This cozy spot is beloved for its mouthwatering offerings, including authentic crêpes and the iconic poutine. The menu features a variety of breakfast classics like their famous maple cream crêpes alongside hearty lunch options such as sandwiches and entrees to satisfy any appetite.
My friend and I went here because we saw Beard Meats Food's youtube video and we just had to try their poutine, and it was definitely worth our 2 hour drive to get here. Fries were crispy, and the gravy and cheese were savory. I also got the veggie omelet which was perfectly cooked. Amanda was our server and she was absolutely amazing, she was so sweet and generous and made us feel right at home. We'll definitely be back to visit, even if it's just to get a slice of their pistachio pie and say hi to Amanda!!

Poutine with bacon. Need I say more?! YES! Chez Vachon gives you a Pizzeria Steve (Stanstead Quebec) feel inside, with coffee that is better than the competition! I'm half French-Canadian - my blood became part gravy when I finished after taking two sittings to finish 😂 Whether you're French-Canadian or just looking for good food, it is truly a welcoming place for all. Loved the blue dishware & heavy duty mug too. Merci!

You have to remember that this is a diner like establishment so the atmosphere rating is based on that. Definitely still maintains its French Canadian feel from decades ago. Had the egg and crepe breakfast and have to say that I have never seen a crepe as large as the one that came with the meal. I estimate about 14 inches in diameter. Comes with butter and brown sugar but you can get a side of real maple syrup for $1.99. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. (Just a side note that has nothing to do with this visit. On a previous visit I ordered the chicken Parmesan and didn’t care for it at all). Street parking is limited but there is a large parking lot in back of the building.

There’s something special about finding a place that feels like home — not just in flavor, but in spirit. Chez Vachon in Manchester, NH, brought me right back to the old days when families would gather after church for Sunday breakfast, sharing laughter and stories over steaming cups of coffee and hearty plates of comfort food. The food itself was nothing short of excellent — true French Canadian delicacies made with care and authenticity. The poutine tasted exactly like the kind my French Canadian dad makes, rich and savory with perfectly crisp fries and just the right amount of gravy and cheese curds. The crêpes were light, tender, and authentic, while the pancakes and eggs were as comforting and satisfying as a homemade breakfast should be. But what really made the visit memorable was the nostalgia that seemed to hang in the air. It felt like stepping back in time — to an era when Sunday mornings meant seeing familiar faces, chatting with neighbors, and lingering over breakfast just a little longer. That sense of community, so rare today, was alive and well at Chez Vachon. Our waitress, Amanda, was absolutely wonderful — one of the best we’ve ever had. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, making us feel like old friends she’d been serving for years, even though it was our first visit. We loved the experience so much that we’ve made it a new tradition — returning every Sunday, just like in the good old days. Chez Vachon isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a reminder of what Sunday mornings used to feel like — and thankfully, still can.

Went to the pub on Saturday with 2 couples. Very disappointing menu was not same as on the website. Very little choices. Portions are tiny. Owner told us that he was not able to update menu on website. Ordered wraps as it was basically the only thing on the menu. Delivered a wrap which was a 1/4 the size of a normal one. Looked like they cut the wraps in 4. And they charge $7.00 for them. Only thing good was the drinks. Very embarrassing as we took two other couples there. Total Bill was $155.00 and all were hungry after leaving Not a good place for food.

I’ve gone to the Wild Rover about 7-8 times in the last month. The food is delicious. So far I’ve had: the 4 out 5 of the Snack Wrap options (cheeseburger, fish taco, Rueben and fried chicken Caesar) plus one special (Steak Bomb snack wrap) all of which were delicious. I plan to try the falafel snack wrap soon which is the only one I haven’t had yet. The potato skins are delicious; perfectly crisp with the right amount of cheese and bacon. Pro-tip: you can get them with sour cream or hot honey sour cream, and the hot honey sour cream is definitely recommended. The Haddock and Handcuts (fries) were phenomenal. The coleslaw that comes with the haddock and hand cuts is very fresh and crisp, dressed perfectly and they add some masala spice to it which makes their slaw unique and gives it an extra flavor boost. The pretzels are also great: served hot and freshly made with honey mustard with a kick or pub cheese. I’ve had the Rover fries, which are their normal hand cut fries with extra spices, and they were a flavor bomb and cooked perfectly. The fries are served with smoked ketchup which kicks things up a notch. I’m going to work my way through the rest of the menu because everything here has been delicious and fresh. This is a chill bar with a good draft beer list and a good variety of liquors. The mixed drinks are strong and very tasty. The staff are all friendly and attentive. You feel welcome when you come here. The crowd is also pretty chill. The bar has a very cool vibe with cool decorations, exposed brick walls, a nice bar, and a cool setup overall. The prices are extremely reasonable for drinks and food. This is definitely my new go to spot. Check out the Wild Rover and definitely get some food because their chef is clearly putting a lot of love and experience into the dishes.

This was a cute little stop. We went in the other day for our coffee date, and I tried the Mexican coffee and had it made as a latte. I also tried pretty good spinach, turkey sausage, and goat cheese wrap. As we tried to pay when we ordered, and they said we could pay later, which seemed odd to place an order at a counter and not pay. We sat down, and they brought over our disposal cups of what we ordered and then later brought over a plated wrap and sandwhich. The BLT looked amazing, I must say. If you order "for here," they will bring over the food and drinks to you and then later deliver your check. Its ordering at a counter, serving the drinks in disposalable cups that throws things off things that had us confused: is this a counter coffee that I'm getting and sitting down, or a dinning experience I'm sitting and tipping for. Counter service is where you order at counter and you pay there, and your food can be brought to you or not, and you may or may not tip. Table service is full service from order to check. So this was why what happened was a off mix. Maybe they were short handed or just being helpful or extra kind to go the extra mile. It just came off a little weird though mixing the check part in when we offered to pay at the counter twice in the beginning.

FABULOUS SMOOTHIES, lots of vegan options, highly recommend the almond joy! Cutie spot, great staff, didn’t love the porridge, kinda mid. Other than that recommend!

We always enjoy this little cafe for a quick coffee and sandwich. They usually have a solid selection of pastries as well. Cozy indoor seating and outdoor area when the weather is nice.

This restaurant is a beautiful contribution to the community. It has a beautiful umbrella covered garden that is perfect on a warm sunny day. Nice stepping area that you can either work or read a book. The staff is inviting warm and very accommodating. The staff also offered generous selections with a drink menu with coffee and fresh juices. The restaurant is moderately priced also. We started with peach ginger tea. It was a bit of a weak brew with very little ginger. I would have liked sweetener offerings, including agave packets or sugar in the raw. We had the Thai noodle bowl during our visit. The noodles and salad had a beautiful selection of veggies. However, the chicken we added had absolutely had no flavor or taste. The peanut dress needed to have less salt and a bit of citrus and a touch of honey to lift the flavor. I was excited because I thought the salad had mango, but it was yellow bell pepper. I felt like it was missing something. I would go back again because everyone has an off day, and maybe this could be it for them. Perhaps it was simply my selection, and I should have asked more questions. Either way, maybe the second time is a charm.

Healthy options. Great selection. Excellent service. Even better - great food. And there are meaty options; not all vegan/vegetarian. Tacos, avocado toast, and a bowl that my wife ordered. All top notch. Great work, folks.

Haven't been to Restoration in about a year or two. Stopped by in the morning and got The ECC, an iced latte, and a scone to go. The latte was great however I was disappointed with the sandwich. The eggs were overcooked unlike the buttery and fluffy texture that I remember from before. Didn't help that after another bite I found a long hair in the sandwich...like I had to pull it out of the egg kind of long. The scone was good although dry. Overall I was very happy with my latte and the service was great, but I hope the food quality gets better.

With so many delicious items on Restoration Cafe's menu, it was hard to choose just one... until I saw their 4 Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich made with aged swiss, ricotta, cheddar, provolone, avocado, sluced tomato... and the BEST thick cut sourdough bread I have ever tasted! 😋🥰🤤 (thank you Nashoba Brook Bakery!) I was in taste bud heaven! The cafe has beautiful indoor and outdoor seating... and Brook provided outstanding service.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent – it's in a quiet area, yet the city center is within walking distance. The room was very clean, and I really appreciated the free parking. The breakfasts were wonderful, with a good variety and quality. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Hilton. the hotel was really nice and conveniently located. The view of the stadium from our room was cool and when we sat outside to eat overlooking the field they had beautiful flowers everywhere and heat lamps to keep you warm at night! The cleanliness of this hotel was top-notch I went in and out several times throughout stay and there was always someone cleaning!! Food in restaurant and morning breakfast was yummy. The highlight of my visit was Ryan! hands down his charisma and attentiveness are 5 stars 🤩 every hotel needs a Ryan! (All the staff were amazing)

Staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Right near downtown Manchester. What really makes this a fun stay is that the south wall of the hotel is the outfield wall for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats minor league stadium. We had such a great time going to a fisher cats game we watched the pre-game activities from our room. We could have watched the game from the hotel outdoor restaurant but instead decided to go into the stadium. Really fun family event. After the game we went back to the room and had front row seats to the fireworks show afterwards. Its a fun quick get away hotel.

Always a great stay at this hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good shower pressure. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. For the baseball fans... great center field views of the Fisher Cats minor league team. Some rooms even overlook the field. Always my hotel of choice.

The location of this hotel is perfect! Right off the highway, safe area, close to restaurants & coffee shops. The staff here is amazing! Very friendly & patient. The bartender (Shayne?) was greate.....very friendly! They have a spacious back patio overlooking a minor league baseball field. They also have plenty of areas inside to sit & relax comfortably with a large group or alone. We had a king bedroom and there was plenty of room! Each room has a refrigerator and a microwave. Pool and hot tub were very clean! It was a great weekend here! Definitely would go back!

My family and I LOVE this hotel. The sweet as pie young lady, well raised, beautiful disposition, charming and polite front desk greeter, Olivia is a Godsend. She’s also beautiful!! Stunning!!!! I wish I could meet her parents to say GREAT work. Great example for her generation on customer experience. The hotel is lucky to have her and should hold on with both hands!

The most pleasant experience I have ever had at a Hilton Garden Inn during our June stay. Excellent food, friendly service, free parking, and a truly special experience watching a no-hitter from our room that overlooked the New Hampshire Fisher Cats’ stadium. Proximate to other bars, restaurants, and nightlife in Manchester. We’ll be back.

We had a bad experience at the cabin we stayed at the Bear Tree. We felt so welcomed and comforted at this Hilton. Oliva felt like a old friend or even family. She really was easy to talk to, caring, cheerful, helpful and empathetic. She worked well with my son who has DS and talked to him like a human being with respect. The pool and hot tub felt great. Hot tub could use a replacement its very jagged and my husband got cut on the back of his leg. I would not sit in it with a nice swim suit it will snag it up. The pantry is the bomb! Never seen that at other places. Jose is a great chef and we tipped him. Best French toast ever!. Ryan is very hospitable with respect and manners. He did great with our special Son as well. The morning of the 29th there was a different chef and he was very unprofessional. He argued out loud at the open kitchen window with the wait staff about what customers were sending back. My French toast was hard as a rock, I had sent back 3 times and still it was not up to par as it was the morning before that Jose had cooked. The potatoes were dried out as well. We as well as everyone else could hear him clearly in the dining room. Very unprofessional. Mary did try to smooth it over. I am not a professional Chef but I do know the crust of the bread should not hurt my teeth to bite into it. Over all we can't say enough positivity about how Olivia, the rest of the front desk staff, the cleaning crew, the wait staff and Jose made us feel so welcomed. As a Hilton Honors member, we will stay here if we need to come back to town. ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS. Keep up the great work!! OLIVIA IS THE GOAT!!

KC's Rib Shack is a laid-back spot with a diverse selection of BBQ and beer, housed in a casual setting adorned with music memorabilia and license plates. The portions are generous, and the starters are substantial enough to be meals on their own. Despite potential wait times, the food is well worth it. The beef brisket and chili are particularly outstanding, while the drinks hit the spot. Families will appreciate the kids' menu available.
Stoked we found this place! The layout was setup with different levels - a dining room on the first floor, an upper level with a great sports bar and a nook tucked away in the loft of an old barn turned restaurant is really cool. The food was incredible with tender, moist BBQ and some creative sauces and sandwiches. The back patio with a tiki bar and live music really was the perfect place for a summer day. Would be great for Sunday football or to break up the drive going to the lakes region. One of the best BBQ spots we've found in the Northeast and definitely worth checking out!

For my last night in Nashua, I decided to drive up to KC's in Manchester. It was a good choice. Sitting at the outside bar, 75 degrees, a local IPA, wonderful brisket, and a super bartender. It was a perfect meal and evening before flying home. I will be back next time I'm in NH.

Ashley was a lovely bartender however I have a real problem with their brisket. Thin dry lean zero flavor - the issue I have is their special comes sauced, a huge red flag. Good spare ribs good rice good sausage. I would advise against the onion rings..... Their unique homemade bbq sauces were amazing especially the carrot habanero

KC Ribshack Manchester NH May 24, 2025 We arrived early in the evening and were immediately seated upstairs (neither of us had ever even been upstairs at KC’s). There’s a full bar, surrounded by hightops. We were sat at one of the hightops. We were warmly greeted by our server Kristen. For drinks I ordered a Sam Summer, and she got a Corona with a Salted Glass and lime. We couldn’t decide between the PBR Onion Rings and the Fried Pickles as an app. We told Kristen we were on the fence about it, and just told her to pick one for us, don’t tell us, just bring something. She said “Really?” Yep. Our app came, and it was fried pickles. Most places do pickle chips, not KC’s, they do pickle spears. They were served hot, with a side of ranch dipping sauce. The fry on the batter was crisp and delicious and it stuck to the pickles very well. Kristen stopped back by to take our mains orders. We ordered a couple drinks first, I ordered an Old Fashioned with Bulleit Rye and my wife ordered a Moscow Mule. Both were good. She said her Mule could use a little more lime. My Old Fashioned was slightly sweeter than I like it, but we’re being nit-picky. My wife, for her main order, ordered a Large Wing (so she could get 2 flavors) with half Jerk and half Spicy Caribbean. When Kristen looked at me, I just told her that I was having whatever she recommended. “Like, anything?” Yep. I told her if it comes up, burgers medium and other beef medium rare. “This is overwhelmingly fun!” The mains came, my wife got the wings she requested. They were cooked very well. Nice and crispy on the outside, appropriately sauced. The seasonings that she chose weren’t incredibly hot, but did make her lips very hot, which was interesting. We took most of them home, as she had already decided on a dessert (more on that in a minute). When my main came it was some sort of sandwich, I wasn’t sure what it was. It had brisket, bacon, and some sort of condiment on it, served with a side of dirty rice. (I didn’t know it at the time, but it turned out to be the Brisket Bacon Swiss). The condiment turned out to be a horseradish mayo. The sandwich was very good. There was plenty of brisket on it, and appropriate amounts of bacon and mayo. I practically inhaled it. The dirty rice was solid, well cooked and well seasoned. “The Rule” is that I play this game (letting the server pick my dish) with my main, then she does it with a togo dessert. Alas, not today. She had already decided that she wanted the tabletop smores for dessert so that’s what we did.

I ordered the brisket dinner with dirty rice and collard greens. The sides where delicious but brisket was lacking in flavor. There wasn't much of a smoke ring but the bark was decent and it was nice and tender.

Each trip to KCs is great. All of the meats are prepared very well. I have had BBQ in Texas or this would have more stars. Service has always been great and the atmosphere is welcoming casual. Tell the hostesses what you are looking for, as there is semi private, bar or other dining room options. Last trip we had a semi private area and the waitresses helping us, made sure we weren't forgotten alternating check ins, while handling all of their other tables on a busy night. Never waited for re fills or drinks. Great job! amd mostly why I am commenting.

Located near Manchester airport, Airport Diner offers a nostalgic dining experience with its retro 1950s decor and friendly service. As part of the Common Man family, this diner serves classic American favorites all day long. The atmosphere is calming and the waitstaff are attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. The menu features hearty American dishes including Patty-Melt with Onion Rings and Turkey Pot Pie, both of which are highly recommended.
Dinner was great. Came quickly and was hot. Good size portions, was unable to finish steak sandwich or onion rings, even though it was delicious. Service was good and the place was extremely cute and clean. I stayed in the hotel and wàs able to just walk down the hall to enter the restaurant. Which was great being it was cold outside.

We stopped by for a quick dinner with a toddler, but it was anything but quick…. Service was friendly, but slow. Our meals were great, when they arrived - the turkey club was large and had real turkey (not deli meat). The veggie burger was also very good. The kids pancake was silly - an 8” pancake instead of more manageable silver dollar size for kids. The scrambled egg portion was large, but didn’t taste good at all. We had to have the bill corrected, but the prices were pretty reasonable

Food was pretty good. The fries were hot and yummy. The steak tips were not the greatest quality meat and were a little too chewy with some fat. My wife said her veggie burger was very good. We will definitely come back!

Airport Diner used to be one of our favorite spots to grab a meal, especially breakfast. However, since the COVID mess, we've not had a great experience there. Today's supper was a low spot. My rueben corned beef was tough and chewy, and my fries were overcooked (when does that ever happen?) The booths are the most cramped of anywhere we eat, and tonight's neighboring table was very loud (admittedly not the restaurant's fault). Overall not a good experience. The one bright spot was our server, who was friendly and efficient.

The food was great, got a Reuben with onion rings, it was very good. My server was good. The hostess when you walk in was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. She needs to be replaced. We are from out of state and chose Fratello's, based on reviews, to have for lunch. What a great choice!! Parking was easy, everyone was so welcoming and friendly, and the food was superb! The kids' meal portion was large, and my child loved the pasta. The table bread was delicious and came with different dips. Everyone loved their dishes. The restaurant space is beautiful and would be great for any celebration. The restrooms were spacious and extremely clean. Thank you for such a great experience during a long day of traveling!

I have nothing but praise for this restaurant. We visited during the holidays and had a wonderful time. Although the wait time for the food was quite long—almost 45 minutes—everything else more than made up for it. The cocktails were a standout, with creative and unique mixes that you won't find just anywhere. The appetizer bread was another highlight—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Despite the delay in service, the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere made it a memorable dining experience. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you're not in a rush and want to enjoy some truly special drinks and dishes.

Wow!!! The food at Fratello's was amazing. There was not a bad bite of food on the table. We ordered the mussels, escargot, and arancini for appetizers for the family. They were all great and decent portion sizes. I ordered the tagliatelle Bolognese; the flavor was spot on. The meatballs were some of the best that I have had out. My wife and daughter had the chicken parmesan. It was tasty. The fettuccine Alfredo had great flavor (I find that most alfredo is pretty flavorless out to eat). The server was very attentive and personable. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed. The food, of course, was a little pricier, but the quality of it and the amount of food was well worth it. If you get a chance, definitely try it. You won't be sorry.

The building architecture and interior are rustic and traditional, the upstairs area has nice dim-lit atmosphere. I could see a clear view from the window by our small dark wooden table for two. La Carreta South Willow is a charming spot that embodies the essence of a relaxed dining experience, serving up delightful south-of-the-border favorites in a vibrant atmosphere. During my visit on a Saturday afternoon, I found it to be pleasantly quiet, allowing for an enjoyable meal. The attentive server, Andy, promptly brought out drinks and chips while assisting with menu choices tailored to dietary needs. The food was not only visually appealing but also packed with flavor—spicy as promised!
I went on a Saturday afternoon. The place is pretty quiet. My server Andy was very helpful. The drinks and chips came out right away. He was very helpful picking something from the menu that would meet my dietary restrictions. The food was very attractive and came out quickly. It was where the spicy as advertised and very tasty. I can see there's a lot of negative reviews about service. I didn't have that experience the only downside is it's a bit pricey.

My husband and I went out for a much needed date night. Thankfully there was no wait when we arrived at La Carreta, and the hostess brought us to the back of the restaurant. We passed a bunch of open booths and we were brought to a small two top. I asked the hostess to sit in one of the many open larger booths, and she said sorry on Friday and Saturday nights, she's not allowed to seat two tops in booths. The next people to be seated in our sections were seated, the two of them, in the booth across from us. My husband and I ordered drinks, which were good. We ordered food and were greatly disappointed! My husband ordered fajitas. The meat and veggies were not seasoned at all. I ordered a taco salad and the salad was so pathetic! I wish I had taken a picture of it before I broke into it. The shell was less than six inches in diameter and there was like nothing to it. There was a tiny bit of refried beans, meat, one half slice of tomato, and you can't really even say it was a salad because there was basically no lettuce. I'm incredibly disappointed! We've eaten here before and have never had an experience like this. I said I wasn't going to eat it and would have ordered something else, but the waiter said I got exactly what I ordered. The South Willow location is also more expensive than the Hooksett location. We've been to the Hooksett location and haven't ever had a problem. At the very end, after we paid, the manager came over, I explained what happened he said he would take my meal off the bill since I didn't eat it and to show the kitchen the quality of the salad.

This is one of the BEST restaurants I’ve ever been to. I went here for my 24th birthday a few days ago and had Anna for our server. She was AMAZING, easily the best server I’ve ever met. She immediately made me and my family feel special and well taken care of. The table side made to order ceaser salads was hands down the best ceaser Ive ever had, the table side pasta right out of the cheese wheel was such a fun experience to do and tasted amazing, even reheated the next day. The drinks were great as well! If you’re looking for a good, authentic Italian restaurant I highly recommend Piccola and Anna, we certainly will be back! ☺️

$1 oyster and $1.50 shrimp cocktail on Sunday. Oysters were a bit sandy. And not very fleshy but hard to complain. However, what on earth is this for my check? No thank you, no good bye, no come back again or have a good day. Just place the curled receipts in front of me without a word of acknowledgement. Yes I tipped properly despite that. Please do better.

I had the pleasure of dining here with my family last night, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The food was insanely delicious and the Caesar salad was made to perfection right in front of us. They made us all unique drinks just by asking a few different things that we like. What truly elevated this experience, was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Emilia made our outstanding Caesar salad while also taking care of other tables because my sister and I had seen her on TikTok before. She took the time to be so kind and wonderful. Our server Anna was incredibly kind and helpful. She made me a special mocktail and my family their own special drinks. She came to our table many times to make sure we were all set and didn’t need anything. She was completely outstanding and we loved talking to her. Rachel and all the other staff was just as amazing as they all stopped by our table to talk, Rachel was so sweet. Definitely the absolute best dining experience I have ever received alongside the amazing food.

I hate to leave a review that’s not good to a small business but this was hands down the worst Alfredo I’ve had! Including frozen bagged meals purchased from the supermarket. The photo I’ve included was after I stirred the meal to see if any sauce was hopefully hiding at the bottom of the container. (It wasn’t) So no sauce whatsoever on the noodles. The noodles themselves were vastly overcooked and turned into mush. But the broccoli was undercooked. The reason for the two stars was the chicken was pretty decent. Really was bummed and sad by this meal. You know the let down when you’re just craving something and then when you get it, it’s awful?? Hopefully it was just a bad night, but still a let down to get such an awful meal for 24$ plus tip.

Visitors can enjoy delicious meals and drinks after a day of exploring the beautiful mountains or engaging in outdoor activities like leaf peeping or skiing.
My boyfriend and I went out for my birthday and had an amazing time. Our server's name was Jason. We ate outside on the Cantina deck, which was a little buggy, but being night time it was expected. Not once did we feel rushed, and we had enough time to enjoy our food with laughs and talking in between. We chose Chips and Four Dips for our appetizer, and for entrees we both got BBQ combos (one was brisket and ribs, one was brisket and pulled pork). For dessert we got Chocolate Dream Cake and Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake. Everything was yummy and Jason was a polite and positive server who knew how to give us time to enjoy our meal. I also loved that when ordering a drink (vodka cranberry) that it was served in a bigger glass and that the straws and to-go boxes were environment-friendly.

Cactus Jacks has great food but they can use a bit of work on rushing out their food. I will emphasize that their food is amazing but often times when we go we encounter appetizers coming out at same time as dinner. This occurred this last time we went as well, our appetizer came out literally about 10 seconds before our dinners were brought to us. The table next to us were talking amongst themselves also how their meals actually came out and then about 20 seconds later they brought the appetizer...come on CJ's...it's called an appetizer for a reason! Food is great, prices have gone a bit crazy but decent portions. Just be prepared to eat your appetizer & meal all at the same time. Would have given 5 stars but this is something that needs improvement!!

Good food, good mix of dishes in the menu. Service was good. It took a bit long to get the appetizer but manager was really nice, she apologized and gave us a gift card for our next visit. Overall experience was good. Return visit was really good. Wonderful service, great food and drinks.

Awesome Nachos here and great drinks. Bartenders are awesome. Went for Father's day 2021. The waitress was not attentive at all. I had to ask someone else for another drink and a water refill. Food is great though. Returned on 10/6/22. Bunch of lepers at the bar but other then that it was great. Visited again in the middle of October, can't remember the exact date but these three women were oblivious and not very attentive to customers at the bar. They need to wake up.

Service was absolutely amazing, food was delicious minus a little on the cold side for the appetizer. Drinks are a little weak. And way overpriced for the food. But the quality is delicious.

Good selection of Tex/Mex dishes. Gotta have the sizzling fajitas...Not much for vegetarian/vegan options if that's your thing. Service was very slow, but courteous and working hard. Must be short on staff due to business loss during the pandemic.

Great service and fun atmosphere. The Jerk Skewers were grilled nicely with great flavor and the Baja Mahi Fish Tacos a good portion with great flavor as well. The Jalapeño Poppers were okay, but not the highlight compared to the other selections this visit. A very solid place for what ever you seek as the menu is expansive and the prices reasonable and the quality excellent.

CJ's is what it says it is - a Tex-Mex grill. While the food came out hot and amazing, I would've liked the meet proportions to have been bigger for the Fajitas. Moreover, the seasoning could've been better to give the food that extra pop I was looking for.

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant is a lively and family-friendly chain known for its Italian classics like pastas and salads. Despite being busy, the staff are accommodating and work hard to provide a pleasant experience. Although there may be some delays in service, the quality of the food makes it worth the wait. The restaurant offers an aesthetically pleasing environment with affordable prices and ample parking space. Additionally, they provide activities for kids to keep them entertained while waiting.
Today was my birthday and also the first without my dad who passed a couple of weeks ago. My husband's flight was delayed and didn't make it in time to celebrate with me. The staff really made it special, despite my crying through almost the whole meal. The food was fantastic, but the staff is what made the meal unforgettable. They treat you like it's a family meal and they sincerely care that you enjoy your meal. The kindness of strangers will be one of my best birthday presents.

Came here for dinner and got the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks. Everything was very tasty Breadsticks were hot, very fluffy and soft. Salad was great, plenty of toppings and not too much dressing. Chicken gnocchi soup was also very good except there really wasn't any gnocchi. I know it's a more expensive ingredient but I had a whole bowl with absolutely none, plenty of chicken though which was nice. Our waitress was Mel, she was fantastic! So sweet and friendly. Very apologetic when we had a wait a little bit for a new batch of soup to finish. All in all, pretty good for the price.

Came here with my parents and husband tonight for my birthday. It was always my favorite place to go when I was a kid and thought it would be fun to return for a birthday. Food was as good as I remember, but our server Kylie was exceptional. She was so sweet, personable, and on top of everything. She made quite the impression on us and my dad is a tough guy to win over. Thank you Kylie for making the night more enjoyable.

We arrived to an empty bar area so chose to sit there. The bartender gave great service with drinks and food. Our pasta dishes were very good. Same with the bread sticks and salad. We were not rushed. It was a perfect experience.

Three managers stopped at our table while solicitous they were basically interrupting our conversation constantly. Also they initially told us they didn't have vinegar and olive oil for the salad. What? Yes, did not have olive oil at the olive garden. Seriously. We had to get like almost irritated and say like "Are you sure, that seems pretty weird?" They found some and then brought it to us on small flat plates. That was an interesting and careful pour. Then said the reason they did not have gluten free rolls was because and I quote " if it is not broken don't fix it". Um ok, they do have gluten free pasta sooooo.... Whatever. Will I go back? Probably not, service was glib

It was a long wait, but with as many people as there was, I was expecting longer. The fact they use text messaging to communicate and let you know when your table is ready is awesome. Under a lot of stress and dealing with so many people they did awesome!! Food was amazing, no complaints. The waiter was extremely nice.

Nestled in a chic and modern setting, XO Bistro NH is the perfect spot for those seeking a delightful culinary experience. This trendy hideaway specializes in New American cuisine, offering an array of tapas and refreshing cocktails that perfectly complement its lounge-like ambiance. During my recent visit for lunch, I was treated to a fantastic meal featuring tender calamari paired with a zesty aioli dipping sauce.
They were such a pleasure to work with, especially Melissa. Consistent communication and clearly very kind staff. The food was great and we loved the space for the bridal shower. The cute ceiling paper-lanterns and windows also made great photo lighting. We brought decor, had a cash bar for mimosas, and connected to their speaker! We also rearranged one cute white swivel chair for the bride-to-be to have her own thrown.

Wow. First of all, the staff was phenomenal. Secondly, the food was really good. I got the Ceviche bowl as a way of going out of my typical and it did not disappoint, fresh flavors and the plantains were something I did not expect to like but really did! Third, we’d been trying to find other places to eat in Manchester, they were all full, I was making call after call, I’m super glad the other places were full though because it led us here.

First time here, and I'm not sure if I would jump at the chance to go back. The best thing about this place is that the customer service here is on point. The worst part is sitting in what I like to call the "after thought" room. The tables and chairs are cheap, like you're sitting at a kids' birthday party, and there is next to nothing for the atmosphere in this section of the restaurant. And that sucks when you're about to drop $150 on a meal. I had a Filet (cooked perfectly)with a fried goat cheese ball on top and demi glaze with a baked potato. Unfortunately, the demi glaze was poured over the fried goat cheese, which made it very soggy and unpleasant to eat. Scallops were cooked perfectly! Fried strawberry cheesecake was also on point and would eat that again. Overall, this place isn't bad. It's just not overwhelming great!

We decided to check this place out. We got right in on a Saturday night. It wasn't packed and the atmosphere was nice. The drinks were great and so incredibly fast! The staff was super friendly and prompt. We placed our order and waited! And waited! It took a bit but when the food came out it looked delicious and delightful. I did like it but wasn't super impressed. Many good reviews and I'm not trying to bash the place but the food was ok. It was a great experience but for they money, I could make the same food at home. We may go back.

Melissa was attentive and thorough through the planning experience leading up to our special day. Steve and staff were incredible! Their smiles, attention to detail, and attentiveness made us and our guests feel special. The food and drinks were exceptional. The ambiance was perfect for our intimate celebration with about 40 guests. We can honestly say that we both look forward to celebrating not only anniversaries but all of our special days with XO.

Stopped by for lunch today and had a fantastic lunch. The drinks were tasty and refreshing and the calamari we had for an appetizer was tender and and crispy with little kick from the aioli dipping sauce and peppers not too spicy just right. The steak was tender and juicy, and my favorite the paella was to die for huge shrimp lots of mussels and calamari along with scallops they have a vegan option too. All in all it was a great lunch and will definitely visit again.

Gauchos Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse & Butchery is a lively dining destination that brings the essence of Brazil to Southern New Hampshire. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, this churrascaria offers an enticing salad bar and a unique tableside experience where servers present skewers of succulent rotisserie-cooked meats.
We have been going to Gauchos for over 15 years… tonight my son asked to celebrate his 19th birthday with a dinner at Gauchos. I was worried that for $52 per person, it might not deliver. We had a great time and the food, and service was perfect! The meat came to our table in a very consistent manner as did our waitress. When I went to pay the bill, the waitress was super kind and patient. I did have to change out the chair I was sitting in because a wire in the cushion was pinching through and scrapping my leg. (The ambience and general presentation of the restaurant is definitely outdated.)

I came here for Father’s Day dinner, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. There were no desserts available during dinner time—only 4 or 5 types of fruit. The menu mentioned a flowing chocolate fountain, but it was not provided. It turns out that it’s only available during brunch, but this was not clearly stated anywhere. Additionally, many of the plates were not clean—some still had visible sauce or food residue. The buffet selection was quite limited and didn’t feel worth the price we paid. On the positive side, the meats were decent, and some dishes just needed a bit more seasoning. The freshness was acceptable. The live music added a nice, relaxed atmosphere. As mentioned, I hope they clearly state what is and isn’t available during each time slot in their advertisements to avoid misleading customers.

We have gone to this restaurant many times over the years and never had a bad experience. However, every time we go it gets a little worse. Last time their credit card machine was down and made my husband walk to the bank nearby to get cash to pay. This time was the nail in the coffin. When we got there we were greeted right away and the server, obviously new, was nice, but spent more time on her phone than serving. She forgot our start and stop cards and then spilled water on my husband while pouring. The prime rib and salmon was over cooked and every time they came by we got the end pieces and small slices. At one point they just stopped serving us. My husband still had his card on green and they never came back over. The server asked if we wanted anything else and my husband said we are waiting for more meats and they never came back. We waited 25 minutes while they went to other tables and never came back to us. I barely ate anything so we spent $119 on a an amount that couldn’t have been over $50. We will never be back. Not worth the money.

Had a wonderful first experience here. Staff was helpful, drinks were strong but delightful. Sides at the buffet were fresh and delicious and just enough variety to make it worth the price. Meats brought to your table were hot, fresh and cooked perfectly! I would definitely go back again, only negative is the desserts are not a part of the meal.

I was seated without a reservation right away, though, for larger groups I would recommend it. This is not your typical restaurant. A buffet and salad bar are available immediately while servers go around asking if you would like the just cooked meat or fish. You don't receive much, but that may be because they will come around again with more food. Food tasted good. Salad bar was standard. Buffet was good. I had chicken marsala with rice . The chicken that was brought around tasted good, but, you either got a piece with a lot or not much meat. Steak was a little rare, but, tasted good without a chewy texture. The salmon was the best, it melted in my mouth. I had two people as wait staff, the manager and the new owner! The manager acted a bit stressed but was friendly. The owner was nervous, it was his first weekend, but, was very nice. The manager was a little hard on the owner:). Live music that was a little loud, but okay. He was a little off on"Ragtime", but I liked his version of Van Morrison's "Moondance". Parking free on weekends. Wifi available. The experience may not be for everyone. But I had a good time. I liked the new owner. Four 🌟 s instead of three for I did get the largest piece of tiramisu any restaurant ever served me! Update; March,2019; Food and service are still great! I met and spoke with the owner. The fellow I met on my first visit was the owner's son. The owner was friendly and asked my opinion of the restaurant. I said that I knew what to expect and I liked being able to determine how much food I wanted. I said I would add a 🌟. What a breakfast!!! All sorts of food and good coffee! Eggs Benedict, fresh made omlet, fruit, which you can dip in the chocolate fountain, buffet with so much and meats and cinnamon pineapple brought to your table. I liked combining olives and cheeses with my eggs and meat. I was remembered and greeted by the owner and his son. All the staff I met smiled! I would add a 🌟 if I could. Update; July,2019: I had the limoncello for dessert, delicious! Update: January, 2019; I visited the butchery and though it was closed, the owner still served me and made recommendations for dinner. He remembered me and asked where I had been:) I ordered house marinated steak tips. I didn't have a grill, but, they broiled well. My kids devoured them, after their mac and cheese:). I visited the restaurant after the butchery and was greeted by the owners son and the lovely lady served me last time. Both remembered me. Food and service are still great! I had rainbow cake for dessert. It was good! Update: Wednesday, August, 2020; Glad to see Gauchos reopened for dine in! I had the grilled salmon, my favorite! All the steak and chicken I had was great too! Buffet is now served by an employee and the entrance to the buffet is spaced out for waiting. You have to use a QR reader on your smart phone 📱 for the menu and list of drinks. Paper menu provided upon request. I was remembered by name and I got to talk to the owner and his son about the impact of the shutdown and reopening on business in Manchester. I recommend a visit! Update: Wednesday evening 🌆, February 2021; Visited after renovation. Renovation was actually upstairs but the ceiling in the restaurant had to be cut into, so the restaurant was shut down for a month. Met the owner again and was greeted warmly. Restaurant is following all state guidelines. Facemasks required, even when you walk up to the buffet table. You can take them off at your table. Food tasted good 😋! Same friendly staff from my last visit. Owner and I chatted briefly about business.

Terrible. Firstly the set-up / atmosphere is very strange. Not a good vibe. The buffet for sides was not fresh and everything was poorly seasoned. ( cheesey cauliflower was good, I'll say that) they claim they rotate 12 meat offerings and we kept being served the same five. The meat was under seasoned, it was well cooked but the quality of meat was sub par. I'm sorry but I couldn't believe my eyes when the bill came. They did not discuss price and they do not put a menu in front of you. The "jazz" musician they had was not good. I couldn't wait to get out of there. How are there so many good reviews it blows my mind.

My wife had a hankering for Brazilian bbq this week. After moving to Maine we tend to only get it when we are traveling. In covid world I'm done working early 'cause I start early; so I was up for a drive. We usually go to a place in Massachusetts about two hours away from our house. With travel restrictions and business closures in Mass I looked for some other options. I found Gauchos and it was about two hours away from the house as well so we headed there. This is my new go to when I feel like a drive and some Brazilian bbq. There was not a single piece of meat I put in my mouth that was not fantastic. On offer this evening was bacon-wrapped chicken, drumsticks, pork loin, bacon-wrapped scallops, salmon, pork sausages, lamb, flank steak, tenderloin, bacon-wrapped steak, sirloin, cheesy bread, garlic bread and there could have been more, but that's all I recall as I sit on my couch with the meat sweats. Since even a perfect review should have some constructive criticism, I'll say; I wish the grilled vegetables were not mixed. I dont care for zucchini and I didnt like having to waste it. Even there I'll allow that may well be due to the space restrictions of this setup during covid world, but really, that's it. Staff was awesome, prompt and courteous. Prices were ~$40 per adult and ~$12 per child (5-10). On the high end if you compare it to a burger at applebees, but I've paid half as much for meals and been 10 times less satisfied.

This is our new favorite place. Had live music on Saturday night. Great atmosphere. Great food. 2 visits this week. Everything we've had has been delicious. Best chicken and waffles I've ever had. Haddock chowder was lit! The one thing i don't recommend is the S'more ice cream pie.

Great staff, good beer and delicious burgers. This was our first time in the area. After a long flight we just wanted a quick bite. They brought water out while we looked at the menu. I’ve heard great things about Ignite and finally had the chance to visit with several friends over this past weekend. The atmosphere was decent and the staff was very friendly. For appetizers we ordered the oysters, bayou wings, and the mussels. Everything was delicious except for the bits of shell in each oyster. As far as entrees, I ordered the Swordfish with two colossal shrimp, pineapple salsa, and spinach over rice. This was a featured special that evening. In my opinion the flavors did not mesh that well together. I love all of the ingredients of the dish individually, but combined I was not a fan. My wife ordered the chicken la Rosa. We were a large party seating after another large party, and this slightly delayed our seating time, but after that everything was phenomenal across the table and through the courses. There was one minor exception that is barely worth mentioning. One of the three cream brule desserts was not on par, but that was the only negative that could be said throughout the evening. Apps, soups, salads, meals, drinks and desert 9.5/10. It was a little loud during the prime dining hours, but that is tough to control, maybe adding some soft dacor or sound deadening panels would help. Overall fantastic experience!

Lobster Ravioli to Go - No Bread :-( We are loyal customers and not always able to dine in. We gladly spent $54 alone for two orders of Lobster Ravs. Our total bill was over $100. The Lobster Rav is absolutely amazing and our favorite dish by far. I have one complaint: No Bread. The dish doesn't come with bread unless you dine-in. In the past 2 years we have repeatedly been told, "Sorry, bread is reserved for table service." An Italian dish with all that sauce and no bread to soak it up, What a Travesty!!! Please, owners/managers research the philosophy, "Give 'em the pickle". I would gladly forego the side salad to have bread with my Lobster Rav. Please reconsider this. I am not Italian, but Grazie, Grazie!!!

I have been in search of authentic Italian food since I moved to New England 25 years ago and have been disappointed with every restaurant I tried until tonight. The calamari appetizer cooked to perfection. The Caesar salad dressing home-made and as authentic as you can get. The meatballs just like you get in Italy. The Lasagna divine. The Bolognese and marinara sauces almost made me cry with joy. The prices were reasonable when you factor in the professional wait staff, the romantic, upscale atmosphere and the 5-star quality food. This is now going to be our favorite go-to Italian restaurant. Bravissimo!

We celebrated our anniversary at Villaggio last night and absolutely loved it! We went early, so it was quiet and relaxed, and got a beautiful table. The food was fantastic, the service was great, and everything felt special. A little pricey, but totally worth it for a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!

If you're on the hunt for a vibrant dining experience, look no further than Texas Roadhouse. This lively chain steakhouse serves up delicious American cuisine with a delightful Southwestern twist, all set against a backdrop of charming Texas-themed decor. Guests rave about their first visits, often highlighting the thoughtful service and attention to detail—like how they expertly package to-go orders to prevent sogginess. The perfectly cooked salmon and fresh salads are just some of the culinary delights that await you.
Angela is an awesome bartender, took care of me right away, my bread and salad came out right away and it was really good! I got a steak and shrimp with loaded baked potato and it was absolute fire!! I’m visiting from North Carolina and I’ve had Texas Roadhouse in multiple states and this is by far my best experience I’ve had at a roadhouse! The manager came up to me an was super nice and asked how my dinner was and I told him it was great and the service was great! Next time I come back to New Hampshire I’ll stop here every time! So good!

I come from NY and I been in Texas roadhouse into different locations but this one is a Woow.. let's start with the potatoes fries. They where tasty!!! Super tasty . I never like the fries on our own location. The stake was flavored. And the drinks really good . I just wished our server didn't forget my second drink. And some other stuff we order. But I guess she had so many tables to handle .NBD, but overall food was really good. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and place. Can't wait to go back

Like every other TR, the food here is great value. Fillet was incredibly tender. The ribs and shrimp was good. Cocktails excellent. Service friendly. My favourite chain in the US.

Food was good, with the exception of our steaks being cooked wrong. Service was excellent. The manager took care of the issue and waiter was fun.

Food took an hour, food was mediocre at best. Wife's food was cold and then they microwaved it when we asked them to heat it up pr for a new plate. We will not go back. They comped one meal but should of comped the entire bill.

Five stars for Quinn being excellent! I’m going to be honest- I hadn’t thought about Texas Roadhouse in 364 days… but now that my brother has two small children- we try to be mindful when choosing where to go out for family get together dinners and we found ourselves back at Grammas Birthday today. The atmosphere is always lively so you don’t feel intrusive if you have kids. Quinn was so attentive to the table.. even after seeing two small humans during a Saturday dinner rush 😉 when she offered to fire the kids meals before the adults, my brother took her up on it. As things go- maybe a misfire, maybe a missed note- our meals came and my niece was eager to dive into anyone’s plate that had snacks on it. Quinn was so quick to notice the kids meals hadn’t landed- was speedy to remedy the situation- and offered to discuss it with her manager to take care of it. She truly went above and beyond and it wasn’t lost on us. Yall are lucky to have her, and customers are lucky to get her section! PS- load the mashed taters. so good.

We like coming here for the prime rib. It’s really good when they have it. I can even tolerate the amount of country the restaurant has to have it. But lately, within the past 2 weeks, we have called to see if they have prime rib prior to 7pm and they did not. This has happened on multiple occasions and is so frustrating. I get it’s popular but it’s a menu item not a special… you think they’d order enough to last at least until 8 pm.

The Farm Bar and Grille is a popular neighborhood spot known for its lively atmosphere, pub grub, and affordable prices. The menu features a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers, with highlights such as the West Coast burger with guacamole and bacon, smoked pulled pork sandwich, and Caesar wrap with chicken or shrimp. The portions are generous, making it ideal for sharing or enjoying leftovers.
Visited recently for the second time. The server was great… second time she has served my family. The menu has something for everyone and the food is great. The appetizers are HUGE… literally couldn’t eat my meal after sharing apps with the table. Onion rings are real… and awesome. The Thai Chicken Lettuce wraps that I snapped a pic of half way through were so tasty. I had the Waldorf Salad - took it home and had it the next day… delicious. Ask for dressing on the side - my friend’s salad looked drenched (to me). The atmosphere inside is fine - it’s roomy but it’s in an odd section of town and can be hard to park.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Manchester when i travel their for work. The food is consistently amazing and the vibe is always laid back. I changed it up this time and got the Colonel Sanders Sandwich. I don't know what they bread that chicken with but it was off the chain. The sandwich was hot and crispy. The coleslaw balanced out he pepper and the fries were fresh. My bartender Tracy was awesome. She is always so friendly and attentive to the customers every time I'm in there . If your looking a for a chill place with good food and cold beer, you found it.

The fried mozzarella was the best ever. It was made fresh using high quality mozzarella, not frozen. The bang bang shrimp tocas where also very good. They were full size shrimp, not the small ones you usually get on a taco. Burger was also good. There were no issues on the burger but those other items really stood out as so far above the quality of other restaurants, I would skip the burger and go for something specific to Farm Bar and Grille.

This place was delicious but just a bit strange. We came here at around 4pm and left at around 5pm and we were the only ones in the entire restaurant. The bartender served us, who was nice but we were a bit confused since the host stand stayed empty the entire time. We had to walk up to the bar to ask for a table.

Ale` was awesome. She was right there when we needed something... at the same time she wasn't hanging over us. The steak tips were some of the tastiest around. Pricing was great. They were on special, all you can eat for $20. 2 rounds and I was full!! They hook you up!!

I had Ali at the bar for lunch today. She was very knowledgeable with the menu and able to provide suggestions when I couldn’t make up my mind. I got the half order of bbq nachos (which was huge) and the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, both delicious! Ali also picked a great music station, listening to Fergie right now can’t beat it. Thanks Ali for a great time!

I got the double double and buffalo wings. They were just ok. The fries however were fresh cut fries yum! The drinks and selection were awesome and tasty. My favorite gummy bear and pop rocks martini. The bartender Paige was super friendly and on point with always checking in and getting things quickly when we asked. Music playing was really good. We will definitely be back.

I had an excellent experience thanks to our amazing waitress Marinda. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly friendly. She anticipated our needs without being intrusive and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and her recommendations were spot-on. It’s rare to find someone who clearly enjoys what they do and takes such pride in providing great service. She made our dining experience feel special, and I’ll definitely be coming back because of her!

Nestled in the heart of downtown Nashua, NH, Margaritas Mexican Restaurant is a vibrant dining destination that beautifully blends traditional Mexican decor with a lively atmosphere. Housed in a historic mill building along the scenic Nashua River, this restaurant offers an inviting space for both casual diners and those looking to host private events in their Lower Lounge. Guests rave about the delicious menu featuring classic favorites like tacos and enchiladas, complemented by refreshing margaritas.
We held our first annual summer company party at Margaritas of Manchester, and it was an absolute success! Jamison was a pleasure to work with—he helped us select the perfect room and was excellent from start to finish, always communicating clearly and answering any questions we had. Jeff and the rest of the staff were incredibly accommodating, and the restaurant was pristine and beautifully maintained. The food was absolutely incredible. We had such a great experience that we plan to host our party here every year! Thank you so much to the Margaritas team for making it so special.

We gave this place a second chance. We came in for the happy hour drinks and apps. I ordered the hamburger and my date got the mini chimis birria style. We also got the happy hour margs!! Delicious!! Service with a smile, great energy. They surely redeemed themselves. At the forefront of the redemption was beautiful Kristyn! She was very attentive, beautiful because who hires ugly bar staff...we go to bars for great food, but most important THE EYE CANDY 😉🫠 Kristyn was right there when we needed a refill and absolutely had the looks and personality to entice us past the happy hour price point. We would've ended our night at 52.00 with a buzz, now we going straight through to howling at the moon status 🌙 thanks Kristyn and Margs for making the Tom Brady hail Mary pass in the last 30 seconds come back! 💋

Its a fun spot with a lively atmosphere, colorful decor, and a solid menu of Mexican favorites. The margaritas of course! Went on a casual evening dinner with family and enjoyed the friendly staff who advised well on what to order. Portions are huge and so we were about to share the dishes amongst us. We tried Jalapeno Babies, Veggie Fajita, Enchiladas Banderas and Lava Cake with Ice cream and every one of them is delicious!!!

I had such an amazing experience at Margaritas! From the moment we were seated, Kristyn made us feel so welcome and taken care of. She was friendly, upbeat, and incredibly attentive — the kind of server who makes the whole dining experience feel effortless and fun. Kristyn went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She checked in at all the right times without ever feeling overbearing, gave great recommendations from the menu, and made sure our drinks were always full. You could tell she truly enjoys what she does, and that energy made our whole table smile. It’s rare to come across someone who makes such a genuine connection with guests, but Kristyn absolutely did. Her professionalism, personality, and attention to detail made our night one to remember. We left saying how much she elevated the entire experience — we’ll definitely be back and will be asking for her again!

We had a rare experience where we did not enjoy the food we ordered, but the service was so wonderful and the manager, Jameson, was so nice- he comped the food & even offered us a free dessert to make things right. Made us feel very valued as customers & we will definitely be back because of it. (We were sure to tip our waitress on the full amount of what the bill would have been). Nothing can be perfect all the time, but because of how things were handled, we will happily return to give it another try. We usually do enjoy our food here.

If you're on the lookout for a vibrant dining experience, Shorty's Mexican Roadhouse is a must-visit! This local gem offers an enticing menu featuring not only mouthwatering Mexican dishes but also burgers and baby-back ribs, all served in a relaxed atmosphere. Families will feel right at home here, as evidenced by one family's recent visit where they enjoyed the friendly service and colorful decor.
Absolutely loved this spot! The service was top-notch—everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Lindsay, our bartender, was fantastic and makes one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had! The fresh guacamole was heavenly—so flavorful and perfectly prepared, hands down the best guac I have had outside of Mexico. Their quesadillas, especially the one with portobello mushrooms was DELICIOUS! The whole place has such a nice, colorful, laid-back vibe that makes it feel like a little escape. Super convenient location too—just off the main road and no hassle with parking. My husband and I had a great time, hope you do too!

Not your typical Mexican Restaurant. Non traditional which is totally fine but unexpected. It is BBQ styled Mexican food. The Name shortys "roadhouse " makes sense after we realized lol. When you step inside it gives off Diner vibes. The complimentary chips and salsa are pretty good. We ordered a side of queso cheese , a few kids meals, a BBQ burrito and fajitas... everything was fresh and tasted good just wasnt that authentic Mexican flavor we were chasing
Irenemarie — Google review
Food was really good ( I had went to another Mexican restaurant the day before and was disappointed) so I was very happy to get a good meal! I had the Short Rib burrito and it was Amazing. Only bad thing was the rice they served with it was very hard. Cool looking building inside and out. So the atmosphere was nice. Only thing I would have changed about the atmosphere there was the music, they were playing Elvis and things like that instead of Mexican music, which you might expect in a Mexican restaurant for atmosphere. I would def go back

I’ve been coming here for years with my family and recently a few months back I had the pleasure of meeting Liz the store manager. The first time I met Liz I went with my girlfriend and she was very friendly, sweet, helpful, and super nice. She went above and beyond to make sure our satisfaction at Shorty's was 110%. Fast forward to yesterday and Liz did it again I told her that it was my 21st birthday and once again she went above and beyond to make sure I had a very memorable birthday, you can tell she really does care about the customers. I’m definitely recommending this place to anyone that is looking for an upbeat atmosphere, good food, and of course amazing customer service. Thank you Liz!!!

If I could give service 10 stars I would! When we first entered the restaurant the hosts didn’t seem to know what they were doing so we thought we were in for it! Once seated the server Erika knocked our socks off! She was on top of her game! She brought us 1 bowl of chips and salsa, we are a family of 5 with 3 teenage boys. She quickly brought a second bowl of each without us even asking. Our drinks were quick. Food took a bit but there were 3 large parties seated right before us. Erika kept our chips and salsa full and kept us up on the wait. She was friendly and on top of everything. The food was fine not the best we ever had but hot and tasty. Erika definitely made everything else seem minor. We will be back if we can have Erika again for sure! Lightning at the table was not good though.

My family and I discovered this place shortly after we moved here, in 2023. Mexican food is my absolute favorite and we love this place - the positives. This evening, when I brought my wife and two young children here, was not as positive. We waited 35-minutes for our food, and when it came out, my 5-year-old received his food approximately 10-minutes after the rest of us. Additionally, because I am such a Mexican food connoisseur, I appreciate having hot sauce. Well, I waited another 10-12 minutes (approximately) for hot sauce. Our waitress started out well, extending a warm disposition to our kids, but after we received our appetizer it was as though she forgot all about our table. I even saw her running other table's food and she seemed to be very attentive to the table behind my wife, which was all adults. The table next to us who, again, had no young kids; arrived after we did, but they received their food maybe 3-minutes after us, and they ordered more food than we did. To conclude my review, I still love this place. The food here is amazing, but tonight's service was not good. We will definitely be back, but please @management - lets assess and evaluate the team's logic in prioritization, and for the love of God, don't serve me before you serve my 5-year-old.

The hummus plate is a favorite appetizer, while the Cobb salad is fresh and delicious.
Pretty solid food here! Huge menu with lots of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and more. I enjoyed my burger, which had Gorgonzola, caramelized onions, and mushrooms + a steak sauce. The fries were well salted and fried too. The nachos were also a great app that I would recommend. Very cheesy with lots of toppings and an appropriate ratio of toppings to tortilla chips. Glad I got a chance to come here

I come to thirsty moose every year, because of a convention close by. Every year im looking for their delicious chicken wigns and their pulled pork sliders. The only difference is that this year they didn't have mozzarella cheese on the menu. And the portions were smaller. 😒😮‍💨 and the drinks weren't good at all. I asked for a margarita on Saturday and ew was like a strong lemonade.. im pretty sure I was not the only disappointed on the drinks cuz I saw another girl getting her drink and after one sip she didn't reach the class again 🤣 . But staff is always friendly and the environment is supper cool.

Beer selection is vast and organized into flavor profiles/identity. Service was quick and responsive. I had a burger and it was exactly what I wanted it to be. Ordered onion rings with it and received maybe 5 total…however my wife ordered cajun tots and got plenty of delish tots. I wanted to go back for the soft pretzel as it looked amazing.

We really liked the Thirsty Moose. My hangover burger was very well done. It was good quality meat. The naughty tots were amazing. Those alone were worth the visit. The seasoning of the tots were spot on, and the queso was delicious. My wife said her carnita tacos were very good, as well as my daughter's fish tacos. My son in-law also enjoyed the seasonal dark ale. The service was great, and the normal, somewhat industrial vibe of the brew pub was nice.

Good selection of salads, burgers, fish and other entrees. Shared some fish tacos and a harvest salad- all very good- fish tacos served cold. We were excited to eat here after seeing so many positive reviews however we didn't have the same experience. All three of our draft beers has off flavors either from oxidation or unclean tap lines. We ended up with cans of PBR (delicious). Our food came out on the colder side - burnt end tacos had good flavor but just not hot. The salmon in my Caesar wrap was well overcooked. Disappointing because otherwise the flavors were good!

Fun Atmosphere, a Little Loud, Slow Service We came for a "Team Dinner" with coworkers on Open Mic Night. It was fun, laid back, and had a solid group of regulars. My male coworkers enjoyed the beer selection. There are books all around the bar, and not just for decoration: I picked up a Mitch Albom book while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive. Our party was larger than average; so we called ahead and made a reservation; but for whatever reason, it still took nearly two hours for our food to arrive. 😬 My burger was tasty but a little on the sad side: I had to wait a little bit to post this review because I didn't want it tied to my work group... I wouldn't recommend a party of any larger than 5 coming here. And maybe, if the owner could turn the speakers down a little, too? Our server said they couldn't do anything about it. 🙏 Great potential. And we did have fun. Just, could use some improvement.

First time ever there. We wanted a place to just hang out and chat and try a bunch of craft brews with some tasty food to soak up the booze. This spot was perfect for that! The music was good and not too loud, so we could actually hear each other. Plenty of seating, that is actually comfortable, even if you’re a bigger person. We were there for Happy hour and had pretty good service. Our server checked on us regularly and drinks/food were brought out promptly. We can’t wait to go back again

Went on a Saturday night around 1030pm - good place for late night food - much better quality than the usual junk that's available. Enjoyed the live bluesy band. We had the cajun pasta - very yummy with an expected kick, but not too spicy. Also had a chicken caesar wrap that was good. They were out of fresh pita bread with the hummus. The fried pita chips tasted more like oil than anything else. Will definitely return! Service was good.

Very dark. It has always been like that. Skip the fish tacos and nachos. Sweet potato fries are good. To cook nachos, you dont put already cooked chicken on the nachos and reheat. You heat the nachos and then put the cooked chicken on. Nacho 101. Great beer draft choices. Plenty of bourbon to choose from.

When someone asks for a well done steak, they want a well done steak. No pink. Just waited over a half hour for a cow still mooing on the plate. How hard is it to leave a steak on for a couple extra minutes? Sorry but if you think that’s well done, you don’t belong anywhere near a kitchen.

Huge portion sizes. We had a starter and 2 mains between 3 of us and still had lots left over. The chicken tenders/wings in buffalo sauce were delicious. Haddock bake was good. Couple of issues experienced. There was a large insect crawling across wall of our booth so we moved to a different table. Service was friendly but wrong item bought on 2 separate occasions.

Service was great at the bar, with one bartender who was able to run the whole restaurant. Management and runners were giving her the support she needed to do a great job. Well done. The boneless wings had a great sauce of their own design, and the potato skins were 1st rate. The chicken parm tasted burnt, and the grilled chicken sandwich was dried out. I suspect that the bread was a little old, maybe? And everything fried tasted like the oil was old. The wings were covered in a good sauce, so that masked the burnt taste.

Dear 99 Restaurant on South Willow Street in Manchester, NH… I just wanted to thank you so much for the service you provided early Tuesday evening on 7/22/25! My husband and I called in for a takeout order for two entrees and an app. We waited patiently for someone to pick up to place the to go order, only to be hung up on when someone finally picked up the phone. We thought in good faith this was an error so we called back only to be hung up on again! We tried a third time and you guessed it… As soon as the phone was picked up, your employee hung up again without saying a word. We even drove to the restaurant expecting the parking lot to be full. Obviously you must have been extremely busy seeing how you couldn’t take to go orders or even answer so we could place our name on the call ahead seating list, but the parking lot wasn’t even half full. We decided to consider this a red flag that we shouldn’t give you our business. We decided to go to another establishment (Giorgio’s) that was very busy and greeted us with open arms and friendly service. Our experience was amazing and our dinner was fabulous! So again, thank you! If it wasn’t for your incompetent and inconsiderate employees who don’t even have the proper etiquette to know how to answer a phone, we never would have gone to Giorgio’s! We really appreciate that and look forward to many more dining experiences… elsewhere!

Gluten-free restaurant
If you're looking for a laid-back dining experience with a modern twist on American cuisine, 110 Grill is the place to be. This casual eatery offers a diverse menu that caters to all tastes, including vegetarian options, and features a full bar for those who enjoy a refreshing drink. The atmosphere at the Manchester NH location is vibrant and welcoming, thanks in large part to the enthusiastic staff who are always ready to assist you with any questions about their offerings.
My partner chose this place which prides itself on being allergy accommodating and we both enjoyed it. From the moment we walked in it was welcoming as we were asked immediately if we needed any gluten free menus. It was so refreshing for me to be able to order just about anything without worry. I ordered a pasta dish with wild mushrooms. The waitstaff offered to add steak which I could not resist as steak and wild mushroom pasta would perfectly hit my craving spot. The mushroom pasta was rich and flavorful. Steak was cooked to perfection and tender. It was exactly what I wanted. My partner got a hot honey chicken sandwich which was sizable and uniquely crafted. We will gladly return!

Very nice modern looking restaurant, the service was very good , and the food was good, we started with the Lemon 🍋 Beignets, they were good, I followed that with the Chicken and Waffles. I liked them. We also had the Short Ribs Benedict and the Crabcake Benedict. They were good , lets not forget the 110 Fritata, it was also good. The drinks were very good also. Our server was helpful and attentive. We enjoyed our experience there. We will return.

We sat outside on the terrace at 110 Grill, and the weather couldn't have been better, it made for a really pleasant atmosphere. Service was excellent, our waiter was friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly. I ordered the fish, and while it was decent, it wasn’t anything special. Not bad, but not something I’d rave about. Still, the overall experience was very enjoyable, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

My husband and I were in the mood for just a drink and app. We sat at the bar and enjoyed their crab Rangoon dip. Hot and bubbly with a blend of lump crabmeat, cheeses and spices. #yummy

The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and gave good recommendations. They also have a gluten free menu, they ask if you need 1 before they seat you.

Im giving this place five stars based on their tomato soup. It was slammin. So So so so good. Who raves about tomato soup? If you try it, YOU will. I'd give up my middle child to get the recipe.

As with other locations of 110 Grill, this is no exception when it comes to great food and decent service. I was in Manchester for business and visited twice on two consecutive days; I was not disappointed. Their portions are of decent size and the prices very reasonable. Most of the items are, or can be made gluten-free, without compromising the taste or quality. A shout-out to my server, Maria, who was super efficient and provided service with a smile. On the flip size though, I did hear many of the staff complaining that the place is understaffed and they are overworked/exhausted, so perhaps it's time management addressed the situation. Nonetheless, I hope to be back for the delicious gluten-free food someday soon!

The food is literally incredible. Well seasoned and tasted so good. The scampi was very good and the whiskey marinade on the steak is phenomenal. The drinks are not good though. Tried all the drinks at my table and not one of them tasted good. Seems like it is the mixer that has a bad flavor. Not sure. The staff is friendly but didn't see much of our waitress and a few at the door were a little rude. It was a very busy night so I get it. The actual set up of the place seems like a buffet vibe over in the booths by the window. The bar is lovely though. The lighting fixtures cheapens the vibe. Overall I would go back maybe during the week when it's less busy.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Puerto Vallarta Mexican Grill. This gem offers an array of comfort food that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. Picture yourself indulging in their chori pollo, perfectly paired with tortillas and cheese-dipped chicken breasts alongside rice and beans—it's a true culinary delight! The cocktails are equally impressive; you can customize your margarita by selecting both the flavor and intensity, making it a fun experience.
The food was some of the absolute best mexican I have had in a long time! The drinks were delicious as well!
Elizabeth D — Google review
The food was solid. Nothing really stood out but it tasted fine. The horchata was a bit watered down so it didn’t have much flavor. The rice in the burrito was a little overcooked and mushy. However the corn was fresh and the birria was good. Food came out shockingly quick. Faster than fast food service. The flan was not smooth. It was pretty dense, almost cake-like.
Jin L — Google review
Great food, rapid service. This is real comfort food. Like seriously, take the chori pollo and dip in a tortilla with cheese dipped chicken breasts, rice and beans - and you're gonna have a foodgasm moment. Also, great cocktails! You choose a level and a flavor and have your own margarita. I took silver patron with strawberries and loved it. My bf took the hot Rita and loved it. His fish entree was pretty good as well. Overall, highly recommend! PS: only complaint I have is their floors were a lil slippery
Sharanya S — Google review
The Street Corn was a great appetizer, and the Birria dinner plate was the ideal follow-up to that. Everything from the food to the fast, friendly service was perfect!

This is probably my favorite mexican restaurant in the area. The people all speak Spanish, so you know that food is delicious. I usually get the birria burrito, which is what I had last night. Absolute perfection. The steak was cooked perfectly, the sauce was just the right amount of spicy, so good. We were a large party and our server handled us with ease. I will definitely be back again and again.

Another outstanding experience at Puerto Vallarta I had checked on wait times using google assistant they quoted 20 minutes for a party of 6, when we got there about 20 minutes later we were quoted 25 minutes. No problem so we put our name in and found seats at the bar. We were immediately served chips and salsa and ordered drinks margaritas all around I had the hot Rita and wifey had the strawberry margarita about 1/4 through my drink I got a text out table was ready. So we brought our drinks and our server Daniela came right over brought more chips and salsa and we ordered guacamole (so fresh) ordered our meals and enjoyed our Ritas and guacamole. More drinks were ordered Wifey got the Pina Vallarta (her favorite) a mix of shrimp scallops and chicken in a sweet sauce. I got the Carnitas Don Juan fried pork with the usual sides (my favorite) I got a Michelada (basically a Bloody Mary with beer instead of vodka) the meals came steaming hot and so quickly. The owner came by and chatted nice gent from Mexico. It is a real family run operation very friendly and warm authentic Mexican atmosphere with hand made furniture. I shouldn’t give such glowing reviews cause it’s gonna make it tougher to get in when we want good, authentic, Mexican food and friendly service. You really won’t be disappointed if/when you go in. If you haven’t already tried it then you should!!!😎Special kudos to our server Daniela. Cheers Dan

Bar
Giorgio's Ristorante & Bar is a spacious and elegant restaurant in the heart of New Hampshire, offering traditional Greek and Italian cuisine for the past 20 years. The family-friendly establishment serves fresh fare including housemade pasta, from-scratch sauces, seafood, prime meats, and chicken dishes. Their menu also features homemade soups, salads, and freshly baked bread. The full-service bar offers craft beers, creative cocktails, wines, and spirits.
We’ve been here about three times, each time we try something different. Friday night we expected a wait so I called ahead and was informed that we could be seated right away. Started with a martini, cosmo and a tropical mojito. The bread and dipping oil is very nice. We had the Mussels as an appetizer. For dinner we had the flat steak frites, chicken parm, and 2 butternut squash ravioli. The mussels portion were a little smaller than we get at other places. The ladies really enjoyed their ravioli, the chicken parm was a large portion with very tender chicken and the flat steak came out perfectly cooked, just beware that flat steak can be a little tough. For dessert we got the flight with 2 tiramisus 1 cannoli and a strawberry lemon cello. These desserts are just the right size. Everyone said their food was delicious and was evident as conversation ebbed after the food came. It was delivered very quickly and hot. Our server Davin was very attentive and provided excellent service. Plan on spending about $50/person depending on your adult beverage choices.

If I could give this negative stars I would. We ordered through grub hub and didn’t receive half of our order (a $22 pizza). We called them and after being on hold for over 8 minutes, the lady who answered was unnecessarily rude. Wife called back because her lasagna was burnt and dry. When she called back to let them know, another extended hold time, same rude lady answered and hung up on her while she was explaining her food was burnt. We weren’t yelling or disrespectful. We won’t be back and very disappointed. Food was nasty and so was the staff member’s attitude.

We had a wonderful experience! The street-style corn was absolutely amazing—bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. The place had a nice, casual vibe, and the lady who served us was incredibly sweet and welcoming. My husband and I truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend for a quick, tasty bite!

Went for a late dinner Sunday evening no reservations. We were sat quickly with no wait. Started with the maple old fashioned which were excellent. The chicken pops were juicy and a great starter to share. The bomba aioli dipping sauce pairs well. For mains we had the mushroom ravioli with chicken that was delicious. First time trying the pizza here. The short rib pizza was a hit. Don’t let the picture fool you there was plenty of short rib on the pizza. Never had a bad experience here. Had enough leftovers for lunch which heated up nicely!

I have been visiting on and off since 2020. I learned about this restaurant and bar 🍺 through the Hippo 🦛 📰 Newspapers and you can't miss their tall sign that is right next to the highway! I have always experienced great service and food for both take out and dine in. I really like the style of the inside. WiFi available. I have enjoyed the complimentary 🍞 bread and seasoned olive 🫒 oil 🪔. I have had the Chicken 🐔 Piccata, Chicken Risotto, NY Style cheese 🍕 pizza, Classic Sicilian Aranci and Six Cheese Ravioli. I have even had their Thanksgiving 🦃 Day meals to go with green beans and shiitake mushrooms. The desserts I have tried are Maria's Tiramisu and Chocolate Bowl 🥣 Trifle. The hot teas come with a selection you can pick out. Update: August - November 2024; The Birria Tacos 🌮 and the Strawberry 🍓 Limoncello Tiramisu were delicious 😋! The Grapefruit Mock Mule did hit the spot! Thanksgiving 🦃 🍽️ dinner to go was ready at the selected pickup time. Though basic, everyone liked it! Update: August 2025; The Chicken Parmesan with the Pom- Mock Mojito was good 👍! I recommend a visit!

My wife and I split a large Caesar Salad and a regular sized Chicken Parmisan. The salad was not overdressed so it was fresh and crispy. The chicken was cooked well and the breading was light and had a delicate crunch under the sauce and cheese. We skipped dessert. All in all, our go to Italian restaurant.
Ira P — Google review
To start, the location is very convenient and has a lot of parking available, it is also handicapped accessible. The restaurant itself is quite open and comfortable offering booths and tables to dine in. Because of COVID they have added a tent on the parking lot with string lights and speakers and picnic tables to dine at the recommended 6 feet apart CDC requirement. The servers are very nice but are super busy since they have only a couple for each shift, so you might wait a bit so have some patience. However that doesn’t take away from the attentiveness of their waiters. Their food despite the strain and workload is very tasty and well seasoned. They have a very good selection of Italian dishes as well a very extensive selection of cocktails which are both unique and tasty.

Taj India is a popular Indian restaurant in Manchester, known for its diverse menu and excellent service. Whether you're a vegan, vegetarian, or non-vegetarian, there are plenty of delicious options to choose from. Some customer favorites include navratan korma, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, chicken vindaloo, and crispy samosas. The restaurant offers a pleasant dine-in atmosphere with comfortable seating and also provides the option for takeout orders.
So delicious and very reasonable prices! We got matar paneer, dal makhani, and naan. We chose medium spiciness, which was just right. Rice comes with the meal and the serving sizes were generous. Naan was fluffy and buttery. Overall good service. Great atmosphere with chandelier and white seats.

Food was really good, service was above average and attentive, wait time on point, wasn’t busy, place was clean, price was fair. I would absolutely come back here any time I’m in Manchester! Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food considering this restaurant is in Dowtown Manchester, NH- not exactly where I would expect to get good quality Indian cuisine. Taj definitely delivered! We had the Veggie Samosas for appetizers; I had the Fish Korma for entree and she had the Channa Masala (chickpeas) for her entree and we shared garlic Nan! Food was delicious 8-8.5/10!

Chen's Garden is a delightful eatery and bar that brings together the best of Chinese and Japanese cuisines, all while maintaining an inviting atmosphere. First-time visitors have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at Chen's Garden.
We absolutely love this place. Amazing food, drinks and sushi. The waitstaff is very welcoming and the bartender Brian will lift your spirits up. Parking is tight, but if you can find a spot, you're in for a real treat!

The beef teriyaki was almost raw. The chicken wings did not taste good. I was very puzzled about the rice. There was hardly any pork in it, and there was no onions nor bean sprouts, no egg; it was very bland. It used to be made with fresh scallions, bean sprouts, eggs, and onions. Even the crab Rangoon was thick and chunky, and the filling did not taste like crab, it was white with greenish color filling it tasted bitter no red at all , usually it had a sweet taste. Is this restaurant under different ownership? I have never had a bad meal here in many years, but the quality of our food tonight was very disappointing.
Lynn D — Google review
I tried this place because it had almost 5 star reviews on grub hub, but the general gao's order I placed to lift my spirits up just made me more sad. The chicken was tough and chewy and just bad quality, and the fried rice tasted dirty, like what they steam it in never gets cleaned or something. All in all, I'm really bummed and won't order from here again.

Oi! In New Hampshire, the only Chinese cuisine you can find is the kind that heavily leans towards Chinese American. After being traumatized by Tea Garden, Dragon Star, Beijing & Tokyo, and Man Yee (well, Man Yee was alright), gotta say, this is the best place. Very very nice service, many TVs (for a Jeopardy! enthusiast like me I was rather pleased). Oh, also for someone who likes the stuff on the lighter side of things, if you request less oil and salt, they do indeed do that, just make sure to ask for lighter sauce too XDXD. Still, go here if you wanna semblance of actual Chinese cuisine! Beats the other places in NH.
Josie_ B — Google review
When I tell you this is the worse Chinese food I’ve had, I mean it. Was feeling a little run down and I figured I’d get something on the lighter side. We ordered chicken and rice soup, wonton soup, beef on a stick, and scallion pancakes. First, the beef on a stick (literally thrown directly into the trash) was absolutely rank. It tasted like freezer burnt sewage. It was thick, tough, and sinewy. It was literally the nastiest piece of beef I’ve ever had. Downright inedible. No sauce on it either. It literally tasted like unseasoned boiled beef. The wonton soup was fine.. well the broth was at least. The wontons were mushy and unfortunately the beef inside was pretty strange tasting as well. The chicken and rice soup was mediocre at best. The broth was fine but the chicken was crunchy from bad butchering. It was mostly sinew and thick pieces of tendon. It was difficult to choke down. The scallion pancakes were pretty bad. They were likely fried at a low temperature as they were just saturated with oil. They were also fairly slimy. I am convinced the reviews for this place is fake as this was quite literally one of the worst Chinese food experiences I’ve ever had

Athens Restaurant is a beloved Greek-American eatery that has been delighting patrons for years with its warm atmosphere and generous portions. Located in Manchester, NH, this family-run establishment serves up an array of mouthwatering dishes that keep customers coming back for more. Signature offerings like chicken lemon soup, Greek salad, and flavorful rice with veggies showcase the restaurant's commitment to quality. Diners rave about the top-notch lamb and fish, which are prepared to perfection and served in ample quantities.
The best Greek food i have eaten in all of my travels. Top Notch Lamb and Fish. Generous Portions. I cannot day enough about the high quality and generous portions. This is a restaurant from the bygone era. I cannot day enough about how much I enjoy their lamb and fish. Visit Athens today and taste the food of yesterday, you will return again and again because their is no other place like this in Manchester!! In addition to this they are great for take out. Try the lamb garnish. The garnish is roasted vegetables Never salty, cooked tender and always fresh! I am one of the pickiest people when it comes to food. The reason I do not eat at other places in Manchester is because 95% of the places have NO fresh cooked vegetables as an option for your meal! On most occasions these other restaurants here in Manchester serve you frozen mixed veggies. I can’t tell you how much I will miss this place, the excellent hospitality and the stunning foods cooked inauthentic Old Greek! Thank you 🙏🏼

The staff was friendly, but the food was not very good. My dining companions ordered the lamb sandwich, but it tasted more like slow cooked roast beef. The calamari was soggy. My Greek salad was very good. Overall, we were very disappointed.

Not too bad for Greek food in Manchester, NH. Went for lunch. Place was empty. Service was quick. Food was good. We had the avgolemono soup, stuffed grape leaves, with lemon sauce, and side order of meatballs with a side salad. Meatballs were substantial - I couldn't even finish one and three came in the side order. Would like just a little more lemon in the lemon sauce and soup. But overall good.

Athens is on Central Street next to George's Clothing Mart, I brought my son to experience real Greek food. We decided to share and brought along one of my son's friends. We ordered, stuffed grape leaves, sliced tomato and cucumbers and tzatziki. The sliced tomatoes and cucumbers were seasoned and chilled, they were excellent. The main courses were Moussaka, Sliced Lamb, Spanakopita, and Seasoned chicken kabobs. The tzatziki was perfect and plentiful, great with pita and bread. The Moussaka was good with the egg plant sliced thin that it melted into the cheese and ground lamb layers. The sliced lamb was juicy and lightly seasoned. The Spanakopita was done well with the cheese and spinach melded together, delicious. Overall a great experience and I recommend families to come and enjoy when in Manchester.

Stopped in before a concert at the arena which was very convenient. We ordered nachos for an appetizer and a margarita pizza. The nachos were decent but cooled quickly and became very hard to eat as the cheese congealed -but it was a good amount of food. From the description of the pizza I expected more of an artisan pizza -but it was a white pizza -no sauce with a small amount of diced tomato. Great garlic taste which I loved. Was good overall but I would have preferred sauce. The service was good -the busboy very attentive.

Holy cow on this one, where do I begin. We visited on a Wednesday at 6pm for dinner. I moved to Manchester about a year ago and have been trying to hit all the restaurants in the area, if you can even call this a restaurant. When we walked in we were originally going to sit a the bar but my dad and boyfriend both have some back issues at the moment so we moved to a booth. We were told we had to come up to the bar to order, I asked "even for food?" she said yes. Not really sure what they do when someone sits in the restaurant during dinner hours.. There were about 10 people in the place, 6 of them seemed like staff based on when I was trying to order they were giving her directions on things they had or were out of, or where to find them. I went to the bar to order drinks. I think I went through about 5 drinks before they actually had something in stock. 3 different ciders on the beer list OOS, I moved onto a "spring margarita" from the cocktail menu (it's October) OOS, asked what they had for wine.. just an open bottle of merlot. Finally landed on a Downeast. Some of the pricing on the beer menu is way off. Being from the restaurant industry I can tell you the price of the keg is price gouging at $10 a beer (what you would expect in Boston, not a Manchester dive bar). We ordered two fish and chips, and a chicken wrap. Fried Pickles and Steak "springrolls" (which were not springrolls but eggrolls). They came out just sitting in a half inch of grease. Fried pickles were fine enough. The fish and chips didn't come with any of the add ons it said on the menu, and fish was so burnt, there was barely any fish left inside the breading. Just not edible. My dad said he wrap was ok, the chips that he ordered with it were burnt, not edible. The food took a long time, which seemed weird since we were the only ones in the place eating. I guess I expected it to be a restaurant and wouldn't have gone from dinner service if I knew it was a dive bar. I'd say if dinner isn't really their thing just switch to easy quick bar snacks food.. scrap the dinner menu all together. Careful with their parking lot, driving a truck we got really stuck in there it took us 20 minutes to wiggle out. There aren't any lines that I could tell so people just park however with no regard for others.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Murphy’s Taproom recently, and I have to give a special shout-out to Eliot for making our experience truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and immediately made us feel at home. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, offering spot-on recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Eliot’s attention to detail was second to none — she checked in at just the right moments, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Whether it was refilling our drinks or checking in on our meal, her service was seamless and made us feel like VIPs. Beyond the excellent service, her positive energy and genuine friendliness were contagious. She took the time to chat with us about the beer selection, and you could tell she was passionate about what she does. It's rare to find such exceptional service these days, and Eliot truly set the bar. If you're at Murphy's Taproom, definitely ask for Eliot — her service will elevate your entire experience!

I’ve been going to Murphy’s since they first opened—it used to be the place to go. The food was great, the service was sharp, and the place was always packed with energy. Unfortunately, things have really gone downhill since 2020. I went back last night for the first time in a while, and it was honestly a huge letdown. Most of the draft beers were unavailable, there were hardly any canned options, and a large portion of the food menu was missing. For example, they had 6 taps with 603 Seltzer. None of them were available. What little food they did have took over an hour to arrive—and the place wasn’t even that busy. The service was slow and disorganized, which only added to the frustration. I’m not sure what’s going on with Murphy’s these days, but it’s sad to see such a great spot decline like this. At this point, I don’t see myself going back anytime soon.

Pizza restaurant
Kid-friendly chain serving classic Italian meals & pizzas, plus cocktails, wine & beer.
The food was delicious and fast. The service from Diana was amazing, very personable. Loved that they are taking extra precautions during to prevent the spread of COVID

Bartender was super nice and attentive. Food was good minus the pizza wasn't turned in the oven so half the crust was burnt. The price on the other hand is ridiculous! $17 for a glass of wine when you can buy the bottle for cheaper.

For how shorthanded this place seemed, they were on top of things. Service was great. The app platter, with the exception of the meatballs, sucked. Tiny, dry, and old tasing chicken wings. Bland garlic bread. And solid, not melty cheese stick wedges. The meatballs were excellent. The main course made up for it. Chicken Parm exactly how I remember it twenty years ago. Home cooked and amazing. Will be back, just will avoid the chicken wings.

This location definitely needs some work at the Management level. While the pizza was very good and the waitress (Elise) attentive and polite, there were things that were sub par. Rolls were not available initially (something about a broken machine?) they later appeared shortly before our pizza was brought out. No beer was available on tap and later when bathroom was required, we were told that it was unavailable due to lack of lighting. Overall really gave the impression of lack of management oversight to keep restaurant in desirable condition for customers.

I think this was our first time in a Bertucci's, and we definitely enjoyed it. The restaurant was clean, and aisles were wide enough to navigate the wheelchair. Our server, Christa, was a real go-getter. She did not stop for a minute, and was sweet as can be. The only downside, if you can call it that, was the wait. The young man said we'd be seated within 20 minutes; but when he left the front and 2 girls were there, they brought us to the back and seated us immediately. Not sure why he had us waiting at all.

Great Italian restaurant with a wide variety of menu choices. The servers are always friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself is always clean and fully staffed. I love the lunch menu as most items come with a family style salad. The bread is out of this world. The food comes relatively quickly, which is nice, it's not an all day project. The portions are good sized and priced fairly. I have never had a bad meal. The food is always cooked and presented exactly as ordered. Great option in the Mall of NH instead of the food court.

I give zero stars!!!! My friends and I went there one night and ordered a pizza to go. The girl told us it comes with bread rolls so we were happy for the extra. She took our order and said it will take about 20 minutes. 50 minutes, after we asked a couple of times if our order is ready, she bring the pizza out. The pizza is cold!!! Not even like worm or something, it is completely cold. And she also says that they run out of bread rolls. Did not offer anything in exchange or a discount for the cold pizza. I will never go back there.

The bad: The first impression was the slippery tile floors, which usually concerns me for restaurant cleanliness. We had a fruit fly that wouldn't leave our table, so I was again concerned for cleanliness. My wife ordered shrimp alfredo and the shrimp were very fishy rather than a nice, delicate shrimp flavor. This is the second time we've tried their shrimp and both times the shrimp was very disappointing and very fishy; think plain, steamed, cheaper shrimp, not sauteed and seasoned. My daughter got cheese ravioli, which was $16 if I recall correctly for five ravioli, though she said they were good. The good: My wife's meal was taken off the bill, which is good because she didn't eat it. I had a pizza which was good; good crust, good personal size for a meal, and hot. The only downside was the large piles of ricotta that look like it was put on with a piping bag with a 1" opening could have been spread out a little as plain, unseasoned ricotta is bland, but very good in moderation and /or mixed with other stronger flavors. The bread and oil is fantastic. The desserts were average for a chain restaurant. Overall, I think the three star rating is fitting and could make it to four pretty easily.

American restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
Family restaurant
Nestled on Elm Street in Manchester, NH, Murphy's Diner is a beloved spot that captures the essence of a classic American diner with a modern twist. This spacious eatery boasts an inviting atmosphere adorned with nostalgic touches like a traditional jukebox, all while offering an extensive breakfast menu that caters to every palate. From mouthwatering American breakfast staples to unique milkshakes and creative cocktails, there's something for everyone at Murphy's.
Great diner. I was very early for a flight out of Manchester and wanted to grab breakfast with a friend. I did the usual Google roulette and came up with a gem. This restaurant looks generic when you enter but the food is really original. I had the Solo breakfast and it's the perfect sampler of your regular American diner breakfast except small in portion. Everything seems really freash and not out of a can of frozen. Bacon is nice and thick cut, sausage is juicy well cooked. Eggs are eggs wherever you go..... But the pancakes!!!!!! Now I love pancakes "fried" and these seemed fried. The outside is so crisp with a slight cake like soft consistency. It's a beautiful compromise between flat fried pancakes and fluffy floury pancakes. And you don't need syrup. The pancake can stand alone. I love this place. The service is wonderful and the coffee is generic but really strong. It has a quiet atmosphere which seemed like for lunch could get rowdy. And there was a juke box but because of the ambiance of my particular visit I did not see the selection. If you're just driving around downtown looking for a place to go. Try this place. It's really worth your time.

I guess because they was very busy and looks like short of staff, the food took more than an hour and when it came, bacon was burned, my omelet bacon was half burned and half uncooked, onions and tomatoes burned as well, pancakes was very dry, they only refilled my husband coffee after he requested. They should at least told us when we enter that the kitchen was busy and food would take longer to be ready. Milkshakes took about 25 minutes to be served but tastes very good.

I was really looking forward to trying something new. We were greeted right away and sat quickly. The staff was good and attentive, she did forget something but the world is short staffed, so I totally understood. She took our order quickly and then we sat.. we waited over 45 minutes for tasteless food. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so I was confused but again understanding. However, the pancakes were like cardboard and had no taste. They were so thin and they were hard. We were not the only ones who complained and we opted not to speak to the manager because by the time all of that happened we had been there for over an hour and fifteen minutes and we had to go. The bacon was mostly fat, the home fries were basically boiled potatoes with no flavor and the hash was way over cooked. The only thing that had taste was the toast, which was really good. Sadly, we will not be back and will not recommend. The space itself is great and the wait staff was awesome, but they can’t help that the food was just awful.

I cannot review the food or the coffee for that matter. 20 minutes to get a menu. After waiting 45 minutes we left. Not even drink orders taken. The only positives was that it was empty enough that we were allowed to pick our own tables and the chairs were not uncomfortable. My experience has left me wondering how they got such good reviews. 40 tables. 4 being used. 45 minutes and not even a cup of coffee. I now know why every other breakfast place except Murphy's had an hour wait to be seated.

Quick friendly service. The pancakes were great. Nice, soft and fluffy with perfectly crispy edges. The hash browns had no texture just boiled potatoes with no seasoning. The eggs did not taste good but were cooked well. Would go back for only pancakes.

1st visit:Bad food, great service. Expired curdled half and half. Raw chicken fried steak... However the corned beef hash was excellent. Service was flawless 2nd visit: not greeted, server didn't know what he was doing, when I finally received my drink it was about 10 minutes in. Never refilled even when sitting on edge of table empty for over 20 minutes. Walked out 35 mins after no service, no food. Went to Airport Diner. Definitely should have gone with tried and true!

After reading other reviews I just don't know why our experience was so poor. Overall I would say it is just poorly managed. We arrived for breakfast and was told there would be at least a 5 min wait to be seated - as we looked around, the diner was mostly empty except for a few of the booths and 4-5 people sitting at the bar. I watched another couple walk in and stand for at least 10 minutes before being seated. There was plenty of wait staff, they just seem very unorganized. While we sat at our table our waitress left and walked out to her car for a bit ( we could see this from our table). We were never offered refills on coffee, juice or water. My co-worker ordered steak and eggs - the steak smelled and tasted rancid - the waitress was accommodating it was removed from the bill. If you are going to be in Manchester and want a top shelf "diner type" experience, I would strongly recommend the Red Arrow - we should have gone back there instead of stopping at Murphy's.

Excellent food. First appearances are a very clean and friendly diner. But after ordering we can tell the cook, (chef) knows his business. The food is upscale and very flavorful. The beans were spiced with whole bacon and brown sugar. The hollandaise was perfect, the corned beef hash was made from large good cuts of meat. And the price was VERY reasonable for the food prepared. Great value. Friendly staff. Parking is tight but not terrible. This is our 4th time there and we will be back again and again. Most assuredly.
