When visiting Gordonsville, make sure to stop by the Barbeque Exchange for a taste of classic barbecue dishes and Southern sides. This quaint porch-fronted house offers hickory-smoked pork, ribs, Red-eye bacon, and the unique Purgatory sandwich with a flavorful blend of ingredients. The menu also includes delicious sides such as pumpkin muffins, cornbread, mac and cheese, baked beans, and collard greens.
My favorite place ever in Gordonsville, i spent a lot of time there, all the food is amazing, the brisket is good, pork belly is the best one ever, and the pork ribs with a real tasty, i could eat there every single day, for sides i like the macaroni salad and potato salad, the sauce colonel bacon is unbeatable
Guilherme F — Google review
Great customer service. Sadly our experience ( spending well over $100 ) was not very good. All of the staff was very pleasant and professional. The ribs very very dry like leather. Baked beans unfortunately dry as well and slaw wasn't sweet at all. This was our first time here and if you eat here I would say the brisket and and pulled pork are your best options. I unfortunately can't recommend.
Jay L — Google review
Delicious Bbq! Friendly staff! Love the atmosphere here. Indoor outdoor dining. Large area not cramped! The food was amazing and the desserts were just as good! Go getcha sum!
Etta — Google review
Pork belly is amazing, but i don't really recommend hush puppies - they aren't worth a hype. The service is amazing though! Great bbq
Joanna K — Google review
This place is definitely worth giving a shot. Cool bbq joint with a great feel and lots of outdoor seating. Being my first time I wanted to try as much as I could so I got the $25 3 meats and two sides Got a cookie and soda which was another $7. They definitely have something going here. I tried the sliced brisket, pork belly, and ribs. Cole slaw and potato salad. Definitely will not be retrying the sides. They had a spicy cole slaw that I should have tried. Next time. All the meats were unsauced with dry rub. Plenty of good sauces to select from. ALL were cooked great with a perfect amount of smoke. If you prefer the pull of the bone ribs these aren't those. Pullbout clean as a whistle and are SUPER tender. The pork belly was good. The star of the show was the brisket. The absolute best cooked brisket since Texas. Fall apart tender but holds its shape. Insanely juicy. The only "note" I would have is on their meats they are pretty heavy handed with the salt. Sides.. they could use a little more. The staff also couldn't have been nicer. I will definitely going back for them to get that last star.
Neil S — Google review
$12 for this sandwich. Just the sandwich, no sides, no drink. Twelve dollars. Added a quarter for scale. Look at it. To call it underwhelming would be an understatement. I’m not a cheapskate and have no problem paying $12+ for a sandwich, but I expect more than something McGriddle sized. And I had to wait about 10-15 minutes for it after I placed my order! I’d been here a few times over the years and thought it was a tad pricey but decent but this was my first visit in a while and definitely my last.
Steve M — Google review
First time eating here. Loved it. The BLT Porkbelly sandwich is awesome. Will definitely go back.
Joanne M — Google review
Stopped by at this BBQ joint. Food was good in general with good service overall at the counter. Good selection of meats with ribs being really good along with the fried peppers.

Love this little gem in Gordonsville! Excellent food and a quiet romantic setting. You can really tell the owners and chef put their hearts into every aspect of the dining experience! The menu changes monthly - these photos are our favs from this month! Sweet corn risotto and buckwheat crepe with mushrooms, onions and mornay!

Wow — I can’t say enough good things about Prés. If you’ve been looking for a sign to try this gem, let this be it! It has been on my bucket list for months and nothing about the experience fell short. Each course was imagined, delicious, and the perfect balance of satiating yet left you wanting more. The monthly change in menu keeps things exciting and you can taste the freshness in this Virginia-meets-French farm to table fare. Owner was so lovely and talked with each table throughout the night, even offering a glass of prosecco as we were celebrating an occasion. Wine and drink menu is varied yet approachable. Service was attentive yet not pushy or rushed. Truly a lovely spot in quiet Gordonsville to enjoy a great meal and conversation. P.S. don’t skip on the bread and butter — it’s divine!

Food was delicious, staff is attentive and truly went above and beyond! A perfect double date spot - we never felt rushed, timing of the food was perfect, wine recommendation spot on and as we lingered over conversation after dessert had been served, Andrew offered us each a glass of an open bottle of wine on the house. A fantastic experience!
Mallory J — Google review
Very cute French restaurant in picturesque town. Went for restaurant week and price was decent for fine dining experience. Food was pretty flavorful and they have a rotating menu so it's always something different. Butternut squash soup was alright, but the addition of ice cream and cookies was a unique touch. The French tacos are more like wraps, and tasted nice with the complementing salad. Chai cake for dessert was delicious! Would come back but only for very special occasions.
Param D — Google review
I can’t even put this experience into proper words. Every detail of this dining experience, from the atmosphere and decor, the music, the service, the FOOD…was positively transcendent. Andrew was so enjoyable throughout the service, between his education on the food and wine pairings to his conversation in between. This was the best meal I have had in quite some time. I don’t have words to do justice to these dishes. Chef Abigail is a culinary genius. I was also completely blown away by the wine pairings for each course; probably the best pairing I have ever experienced. The time and effort that goes into determining the pairings is very evident by how perfect they are. Everything about Près is a masterclass in attention to detail, and I am already salivating at the anticipation of my next visit.
Rachel E — Google review
So great to see this convenient location on S. Main Street in Gordonsville, Va. in use again! We had been out of town but made it back for our reservation and so glad we did. Each course was well prepared and presented by the attentive staff, along with their vegetarian suggestions. The menu appears to change monthly, so schedule soon to catch the summer flavors. And while you're at it, walk the colorful streets of historic Gordonsville.
Chip G — Google review
This is the second time for dinner at Pres Des Pres and we really enjoyed our meals both times. The fixed menu is not limiting at all because each course is done so well you wouldn't have it any other way after you taste it. We enjoyed each menu item thoroughly and thought the entire menu together was such an enjoyable experience. The food is high quality, the scallops were to die for and the beef tartar was impeccable. The execution of each course could not have been better, absolutely no complaints. I enjoy the rotating menu every month because it's like a new experience all over again. This would be a great place to go an experience firsts, your first time trying venison, your first time having pre fix menu, etc.

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Gordonsville, Well Hung Vineyard is a delightful restaurant that beautifully marries regional cuisine with an impressive selection of wines. This culinary gem prides itself on sourcing top-quality ingredients from local winegrowers, ensuring that each dish complements its carefully curated wine portfolio. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions.
I was in the area by myself with a little time to kill and decided to stop in. They were able to seat me without a reservation, which I appreciated! The place is small — but in a charming way — with seating both inside and outside under a covered area. I was lucky to get a seat, as this is clearly a popular spot on a fine Saturday afternoon. I would highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time; in fact, for parties larger than two, I believe it’s required. They offer a lovely selection of wines, and the atmosphere is both authentically pleasing and relaxed. The staff was very friendly, and I especially appreciated the team dynamic — everyone worked together to serve, so you weren’t left waiting for just one server to make their rounds. The bathrooms were clean, and the overall experience felt warm and welcoming. I ordered the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese — absolutely delicious! I look forward to returning again soon!
Gabrielle B — Google review
Five stars isn’t enough! Well Hung Winery ended up being our absolute favorite restaurant during our trip! From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. The wine flights were amazing, and the way they’re presented on hanging trees was so unique and fun, such a creative touch that really stood out. I had the fried green tomato sandwich and it was delicious, perfectly crisp and full of flavor. The fries were also excellent. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and an overall unforgettable experience. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Gluten-free and dairy-free options!!! This restuarant was so cozy and enjoyable with great food and great service. Staff was very knowledgeable regarding dietary restrictions and their food was delicious! I got the bone-in pork chop with apricot glaze, green beans and substituted in root vegetables to avoid the dairy of mashed potatoes. So yummy! We arrived around 6pm on a week night and there was no wait.
Laura B — Google review
I went there with my family. My daughter took the flatbread, and I tasted it. It was delicious. The meal i took was delicious as well. The staff was very courteous. The rain fell before we went there and we were seated outside. Unfortunately the ground was a bit messy. The wine my husband and I had tasted amazing, its called Wishful thinking. It was a sweet white wine.

Ooh Mother of God!!! I can not remember having a burger 🍔 so extremely luscious!!! EVER!!!! Their signature burger comes between two freshly made waffles 🧇 but I opted for the Brioche bun. Pure Heaven! Don't know if the waffles makes it better 🤔, but I WILL find out!! (Make sure to ask for extra napkins 😋) This place is a wine 🍷 lover's paradise. It seems that the menu items have been paired with many of their varied, signature, and local wines, but even those of us who can't partake, can still appreciate the super fresh, delicious offerings coming from the kitchen! WHV is a destination dining 🍽 experience, right in the heart ❤️ of Virginia's wine country! But don't take MY word for it; find out for yourself......Day Trip!!!!!🚘
Barry J — Google review
Great vineyard restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. Charcuterie board is fantastic, and especially the bacon jam. The burrata salad was good but only came with one piece of crostini which just wasn’t enough for the amount of cheese and tomato. The G’Ville flat bread is amazing and definitely recommend. The Cajun pasta was decent, pasta and sauce really good but the chicken was a bit overcooked. Overall great dining experience and would recommend for a nice afternoon or evening.
Gabriel G — Google review
Not only did we have some great food, we had a fun experience. We shared the two flights of wine and a small charcuterie plate. We also ordered the short ribs and BBQ flatbread. Our server was a nice blonde lady(she was pregnant) we forgot her name but she took great care of us. She recommended the “Date Night” flight which was really good but the slushee flights were our favorite. We couldn’t finish our food, so she packed it “To GO” and later that night we finished it!! Very happy with our decision to dine here We had the short ribs and the BBQ Chicken FlatBread

What a lovely little stop in darling little Gordonsville! We came in for a late lunch during an afternoon of antique shopping, and we couldn't have been happier with the service and the food. Our server, Cori, took awesome care of us. We had the Afternoon Delight wine flight, which was excellent, and a glass of the lovely dry rose. I recommend the club sandwich and the portobello fries. We'll definitely be back.

We have driven past this restaraunt so many times on our way from Loudoun County to Zion Crossroads. Every time we pass, one of us will comment that we should stop... well, today was the day! We stopped & enjoyed a delicious breakfast of 2 eggs, fried potatoes & toast with a side of bacon & ham - topped off with oj & hot coffee. Everything was delicious, hot & fresh! Our waitress was wonderful, both very efficient & pleasant. We will definitely be stopping there again - this time for lunch or dinner!

Made it back again September 28th, 2025. Same waitress, Ericka. She is a wonderful waitress and does a superb service to this quaint little restaurant. We arrived at 11:00 am when it switched over to lunch but we were still able have breakfast. Highly recommend!!!

This place is a treasure. It's amazing how generous the portions are. And how you get dessert with the specials. The staff is very friendly. You'll love it. I'm glad to know I have another dining option in Gordonsville. The food is delicious. Try the cheeseburger or country fried steak with white gravy, mashed potatoes and peas. Some of the best mashed potatoes you'll ever eat. And the chocolate pie will "make you wanna smack grandma"!

we got sat, but then the regulars and what seemed like their family members come in 10 min AFTER we ordered. they got their food and finished before we even got ours. so they pushed our order to the side to serve other people. the food was fine after waiting closer to hour. im sure the restaurant does live up to all the other good reviews but i hope thats something they can work on moving forward.

We ate here quite late one night. It was ~ 7:30pm. They close at 8pm. I didn't see what I really wanted on the menu so I asked for an open face roast beef and gravy sandwich with fries. They actually made my meal to order. It tasted wonderful. Wow, that was excellent and fairly priced. My wife loved her meal too. We both avoided the salad bar as it was quite limited and looked very tired so late in the day. Our waitress couldn't have been any nicer. Recommended eatery located northeast of Gordonsville, VA.

Fabio's Pizza in Gordonsville, VA is a cozy Italian restaurant that offers delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. Despite the initial crowdedness, the experience turned out to be delightful with attentive service and generous portions. The calzone and salad were both incredibly tasty, leaving enough for leftovers. The pizza is particularly noteworthy for its fresh ingredients and ample cheese.
Excellent place to eat. Owner is from Naples and the food is great. The misses had beef ravioli, which was excellent. I had a cheesesteak, which was very good as well with plenty of meat. I'll definitely be back
Glenn D — Google review
Our 🍕 pizza was excellent. It was ready quickly. Owner/cook was very friendly. I liked the beautiful mural on the wall. Restaurant is located in a strip center near Food Lion grocery store. Establishment needs some work in the small eating area near where you order and pay for pizza. There was actually a smallish fist size hole in sheetrock and the bathroom area and bathrooms really need remodeling, fresh paint and a good cleaning. So, enjoy the pizza but be aware of the fact that any decent atmosphere is limited to main eating area.
Jazz M — Google review
After a long ride we were looking for a snack to eat. Super excited to try this place walked into total disappointment. Customer Service was rude to a whole new level. Then to top it off prices were a little high no problem but to split a meal they charge extra. A whole 7 dollars extra on a 15.95 calzone because we were sharing it. We didn't want anything to large due to being on motorcycles. What the world is coming to today is ridiculous but no need to fear for subway is near and never a let down. Excellent service to.
Alexia R — Google review
Got a large Fabio special pizza take-out. Came quick. Comes with a ton of toppings, almost a casserole. Ate with utensils. Delicious. A gut bomb. I ate two slices and had to lay down. Good value.
Robert K — Google review
Stopped here on the way to Richmond because I had heard good things. I ordered a side of meatballs and a side salad. Had to special order the salad to take off ingredients that I didn't like and was left with lettuce so asked for peppers and cheese instead. My bill came to $17! When asked why I was told I was charged extra for cheese. My bill without the mods should have been $10.75 before tax. When I received my order, my side salad turned out to be huge!! It filled a large take away box. Unfortunately, it didn't have the flavor I was hoping for.
Betty C — Google review
Rude customer service and pizza was not great. Crust was soggy/not cooked all the way and all toppings just fell off. Would not recommend this place. Take extra time to drive to Domino's!!

After a long day, we arrived after 11PM. Hostess was practically running the place and was very pleasant, I am ashamed to have forgotten her name. Food was great, honestly the best I have ever had from an IHOP. A surprisingly good end to our day.

This restaurant was across the hotel where we stayed. We were seated right away (went at about 9am). I had the usual, pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. Food was cold. Waitress was awful and not attentive. Meal wasn't prepared as asked. Not aware of the menu and kept asking things over and over. I asked for the appetizer to come out before placing our dinner order. She and manager bought everything to the table together and ask if I wanted her to take the dinner back until we eat the appetizer. Taking it back would of been even worse food. Appetizer sampler has dry chicken. I didn't eat my fisherman platter or appetizer. She never asked if we wanted a refill. Horrible. It is months later, and I still haven't gotten a response.

This is probably one of the best IHOP restaurants I’ve been in a while. I honestly had just stopped going because the one in Charlottesville has so many issues. Service was great the food was great! Came right in and was seated and had my ordered food in ten to fifteen minutes. Can’t wait to go back for the unlimited pancakes!

The food is delicious and the service is great. Yes there is a slight smell when you walk into the restaurant however, they are clearly working on fixing it as they have fans in the dining room, and you only notice the smell in the entry area. I enjoyed my omelette, pancakes and fruit. Service by Ashley was outstanding! I would come again.

Sunday brunch restaurant was packed. A little bit of a wait, but service was super fast. I ordered a gluten friendly pancake, it was horrible. I told our waitstaff, she came back to say the manager was making another one from scratch. It was absolutely delicious and they were so nice about it! Thumbs up & 5 Stars!
Susan D — Google review
food and service were great, quick, and correct. however, the smell upon walking in the building was definitely foul, and smelled like backed up sewage. the dining room itself was cluttered with wet floor signs and dish trays on the floor, and seemed to have dirty air vents and moldy ceiling tiles. this place is dirty, to say the least. but the waitress was extremely pleasant and the kitchen moved fast. would love to try again without the smell at the very least.

Just ordered tonight. This is usually our go to Mexican restaurant but this was absolutely abysmal. I knew it wasn't a good sign when it was the whitest chicken I've ever seen from here. I don't know if it is a new cook, but the food has zero seasoning. My burrito had no flavor, the fajitas have no flavor. The salsa had the consistency of tomato juice and about the same flavor. Extremely disappointed, especially when the food usually tastes much better.

The food was sooo good. I had the shrimp tacos, most places just give u like 2-3 pieces of tiny shrimp where I've had before, but theirs were so full . And the shrimp was very flavorful and not too overcooked. My husband had one of the steak burritos and the thing was giant and delicious, but the steak was cooked good for it and not too tough. The drinks were good too. Hubby had the coronarita, and I had the mojito. Both were just as delicious as the meal.

Lately, dining out at local spots feels more like a gamble than a treat. The charm of supporting small businesses quickly fades when you're charged gourmet prices for bite-sized portions. A $17 salad with three cherry tomatoes and a sprinkle of greens? Or a "shareable" appetizer that barely feeds one? We all understand rising costs, but value matters. When the price tag doesn’t match what’s on the plate, it leaves diners feeling shortchanged instead of satisfied. If local restaurants want loyal customers, it’s time to balance quality, price, and portion—because good food shouldn’t leave you hungry and broke. BTW the salsa pictured was complementary , However the cheese dip was not and the size for the amount of money is again just not feasible.

Try the Mexican hot dogs. And interesting twist on the hot dog. The service is fast and efficient without feeling rushed. If you are traveling along I-64 near route 15, it is a worthwhile stop.

My husband took me there for Mother’s Day. It was packed. The food was very good even though we sat in the bar area to get quicker service. It was still pleasant. I gave it five stars even though our server forgot to bring me my fries seemed like he had a little too many tables that he could handle so maybe on holidays you might wanna staff it a little bit better but good atmosphere good food servers need a little more training sorry guys
Jannine A — Google review
I have no idea how these folks are able to deliver food to the table so quickly! Most places, you dread going to on a Friday night. Not here! Their table turnover is very quick. Even with a full parking lot, you're seated almost immediately. Orders taken, and food arrives in no time. The food is delicious as well. Even the price is great.

Gordonsville Ice House, located in Gordonsville, Virginia, has a rich history as the Fried Chicken Capital of the World. The establishment offers lard-fried chicken served on platters, sandwiches, and salads made with local greens. Additionally, the upcoming Champion Ice House will provide a spacious venue for people to gather and enjoy good beer and food in an ice-house design that pays homage to historical ice storage facilities.
The Ice House is an absolute gem. The food was delicious and the service was truly top notch. We loved everything we ordered, but the chicken dishes really stood out. The buffalo chicken sandwich especially was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, definitely one of the best we have had. What made the experience even better was learning about the history of the building. It was so neat to find out it used to be an indoor movie theater, and you can still see the ladder and area where the projector once was. We were also surprised to hear it had once been used as a vehicle service center. That kind of character adds such a cool vibe to the place. The food was excellent across the board and we genuinely loved it here. If you are in the area, The Ice House is a must visit.

Atmosphere is really nice and the restaurant is really clean in a very unique setting that maintains its historic charm. Service was okay, we stood for a few waiting to be seated and then waited a few more waiting to be served. The server did explain that shift change was happening and we were in no rush so it didn’t bother us at all. Deviled eggs were amazing and so was the chicken salad. The fries were delicious and cooked perfectly. The fried chicken was a little salty for my taste and my daughter had the same issue with the chicken sandwich. Overall good experience and will definitely eat there again to try one of the burgers.

Ate at the Gville Ice House for lunch today and overall, it couldn't have been better. The noise level was low, the atmosphere casual and not stuffy and the food was excellent and straightforward without the addition of trendy flavors to try to make it something it isn't. Our waitress was very efficient and pleasant to interact with. I give it all 5 stars throughout and there was nothing to keep me from going back.

I got my order wrong three times. I asked for a Camel Craze, not Caramel — and somehow, the “Caramel” drink didn’t even have caramel in it. On top of that, they messed up my bagel twice. When I asked them to fix everything, the girl pretended not to hear me. This was honestly one of my worst Dunkin’ experiences. Rude, sassy, and careless. I’m not coming back.
Orhan B — Google review
I stood at the front counter/register for about 7 minutes. There were no other customers in the store. Not sure if the workers were just in the back. No one came to address me or take my order. I then placed an order on the mobile app since I figured it would be faster. Received my iced coffee 2 minutes after that. Guess I’ll just order using mobile app from now on. I just wish the store employees were a little better about customer service.
Jordan M — Google review
Poor customer service. I did not ask for an ice coffee, but was given one, and when I said I dont think I asked for one, she literally shook it at me and said yes you did. Haha, even if I did( I NEVER drink ice coffee), that is not how you handle a customer, no matter how busy you are, there is plenty of place I can get hot coffee from, so you won't have to worry about me again haha.

This was one of the worst experience we had. We wanted to dine in but the door was closed and we were told to go to drive thru. We ordered 4 hash browns none of them were cooked fully. Hot chocolate was not even hot chocolate. All everything bagel was not done right. One of the most horrible experiences.
Umang P — Google review
i had an order of a single iced latte and plain bagel minis and took about 20 minutes for them to make my order. Meanwhile the window was open, nobody is at the window? and employees are just hanging away from the window and bragging about their paychecks and complaining about their personal lives saying how someone HAS to take their shift to "do their daughters hair because she can't do anything for herself apparently" no customer should be able to hear this stuff through the window, very unprofessional. I was clearly being ignored and I had to yell ma'am about 10 times because nobody acknowledged me at the window, not even to let me know how long it would be or just to let me know it was being made at least. (mind you it was a mobile order 10 minutes before I got there plus the twenty minutes for it to be prepared) I got met by another employee who had a bad attitude after acknowledging me finally, and raised her voice at me saying she was "working on it" very passive aggressively. Mini bagels were barely even cooked, the coffee was half milk, and at that point the experience just ruined the trip.i am a dunkin lover, but i will not come to THIS dunkin again.

McDonald's is a well-established fast-food chain recognized for its classic burgers and fries. The staff at one location demonstrated exceptional customer service, with a manager named Ms. Dodie going above and beyond to ensure a smooth ordering process despite the confusion. While some customers have reported mixed experiences, others have found the food to meet expectations and the service to be satisfactory. Overall, it seems that McDonald's continues to deliver its signature menu items while striving to provide positive customer interactions at various locations.
Order online and got through the line quickly. At the window, they asked me to take a carside spot while I waited for them to finish up my order. After thirty minutes, one of the staff came out to my car and asked why I was in a carsode spot without an order. I told them I was told to wait here from the window, and they took my order details again. I had been waiting for thirty minutes at this point and then fifteen minutes later, the staff member came back out and handed me what equates to half my order. She also explained that they were closed, even though they close at eleven o'clock, I had arrived at nine thirty and it was then ten fifteen. I got home with what they gave me, noticeably missing items and when I opened my sandwhich, it wasnt even the whole thing. I come to this McDonald's maybe once a month and it gets worse every time. The worst part is, you can't even get a refund through the app.
Cristopher B — Google review
I haven't stopped at this McDonald's in a long time. I cannot begin to describe how awful it is now. First of all let's start with waiting over thirty minutes for an order we placed online 10 minutes before we arrived, a small order at that. We went to use the facilities while we waited on our order. Trash. Literally like 20 flies in the women's restroom, one stall was occupied the other covered in all different shades of fecal matter, smeared on the seat, the side of the seat, the bottom of the bowl. Water puddles everywhere which is absolutely McDonald's fault, not the employees fault because of the placement of the hand dryer and no paper towels, a fall hazard and also disgusting. The aroma of someone else's digested food that didn't quite make it to the bowl apparently, did make it to the gas station side and floated on into the restaurant. Being overcome by the safety hazards and absolute house of horrors, poop edition we exited expeditiously and tried the men's room which you guessed it just as foul. After finally getting our food it was missing a 10 piece chicken nugget. Which doesn't surprise me there were several other people waiting just as long as us probably because the manager was outside chain smoking cigarettes chit chatting, another employee reeked of marijuana which cool but maybe save it for after work or don't smoke so much of it you are wheel chair bound. This was almost an hour long event from start to finish. We wanted fast food, we could have spent our money in a sit down restaurant for all that grief and would have if we knew we would have to wait 3-5 business days for our food. The other employees working were nice, attentive, but they can't do it alone, the manager should be in there helping not outside blowing cigarette smoke into the entrance doors, though I almost appreciated the cigarette smoke it somewhat covered the smell of the bathroom.
Alex W — Google review
This place has REALLY gone downhill under new management. Ordered food online 30 minutes ago, have been waiting inside for 25, app said food was ready 12 minutes ago and still not served. Especially when my order is just McNuggets and a happy meal… As a former trucker, I feel for the drivers wasting their entire meal break waiting to be served. Edit:Finally served at 4:45, almost an hour after I ordered.
O — Google review
I went through the drive-thru here recently and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. After waiting about 20 minutes in line just to order, I was told at the pickup window that their latte machine was down and I’d have to wait another 20 minutes. I politely declined and asked for a refund. Instead of simply processing it, the cashier kept insisting I trade it for something else and argued with me while I had a crying baby in the back seat. When the manager finally took my card to do the refund, the cashier and another employee repeatedly and aggressively told me to pull forward even though my card was still inside the store. I refused because I have a legal right to remain at the window until my transaction is complete and my card is safely returned. They became hostile toward me for standing my ground, but I was well within my rights as a paying customer. Customers are legally entitled to a refund when a business cannot provide what was purchased. Pressuring someone to accept something else, or to leave the window while they still have your payment card, is not acceptable and creates a serious trust and security issue. I remained polite but firm, and the treatment I received in return was hostile and unprofessional. This location needs serious retraining on customer service and on respecting consumer rights.
Chelsea — Google review
In my life, I have never seen a slower moving McDonald's. While the food I received was warm, it took me no less than 35 minutes to get my order. I ordered at the kiosk. Did not get a receipt and stood in line there with all the other customers who seemed just as lost. There was absolutely zero sense of urgency from the employees. They were back there just talking and standing around, while their manager was the one and only person who seemed to care, whatsoever. Absolutely horrible, and I am not exaggerating in any way. Drive another 30 minutes and go somewhere else, or walk across to the street to the Burger King.
Mark D — Google review
We were a big party today so we were trying to be respectful to try and not overwhelm the staff, when part of our order was missing the staff was very helpful, everyone but the manager, she was rude and disrespectful. She would just stare when we asked for help and yelled at my sister for standing by as she waited for her order. There was no need for her hostility. The manager made the environment terrible. Will never recommend stopping here ever.
Trinity C — Google review
Do not come here. Waste of time. Waited in line for about 15-20 mins only to get up to the speaker and not even be acknowledged. When asked if anyone was there a women came on with an attitude. I ordered a sundae, fries and a drink. The fudge tasted out dated and I had to throw it out. Fries were cold and soggy, and these people gave me 2 straws.. how in the hell am I suppose to eat a fudge sundae with a straw. Should’ve looked at the reviews. This establishment needs to be shut down. If you don’t wanna work then quit. Don’t take your frustration out on customers. Just rude employees and disgusting food here. Don’t waste your money here.

I accidentally order at the wrong place. When I called to see if I could be refunded they hung up on me because he doesn’t speak English well. Then I called back to see if I still can come at-least get the food and the person refused to speak with me and kept saying call manager in morning. So then I called in the morning to speak with the manger and he also doesn’t speak English well told me he can’t refund me because they’re was a “coupon” used. And then preceded to tell me my food is still here and I can come get it. Didn’t offer to even REMAKE the food, he will only give me 12hr old food.

For the third time I went in today after ordering online and being charged to find the owner and who I assume is his wife or family member pretending to be baffled that they could find my order .....while I audibly listened to the ding of the online orders on their P.O.S going off I've worked at subway so I know the sound they say there and simply ignore it till the order times out . another guest had the same issue as well.....this is constant anytime you use rewards or promo they cancel or let your order timeout . hoping you'll pay full price once you arrive after already being charged but then not having your order or food. Subway needs to take away these franchisee stores and operate the business themselves this is why company is failing btw It takes subway corporate like 5 days to refund you so don't make a big purchase or your just out of luck for dinner that day

The restaurant has been described as a little gem of a place by visitors who were pleased with the quality of the meals they ordered.
Saw this little spot while passing through, and I'm very glad I did! The inside was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I got my meal to go, so I only dealt with the fella at the counter. I'm not sure how long they have been open, but the food is delicious. We ordered two burritos, ground beef and pork. 1 was a meal in itself. Took the other home to work on later its great that you can choose your meat, then pick out all the fillings you want! A little gem of a place. I hope it does well for a long time and the food is always as tasty as it was today. Definitely give them a try!

Delicious food! Stopped in while visiting a friend and really enjoyed our tacos and taco salad. The guacamole and pico were made fresh and despite the long wait (lots of people coming in for togo orders and only one woman working) the food came to the table piping hot, full of flavor and dripping with fresh juices! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Carnitas tacos were my favorite!!

Best chicken salad I have had in a long time and I lived in Austin for 13 years. The shell of the taco salad had to be home made. It was light and crispy and fresh. I am sad that every time I make the 30 minute drive to go here when the hours say they are open, they are closed. This has happened to me twice already. Please open when Google hours and store posted hours on your day say that you are open. I would really like to come back.
H C — Google review
Picked up food to go to take back to local brewery. The two ladies working were extremely friendly, but the wait was almost 30 minutes for two tacos and a torta sandwich. The tacos were okay, served with 2 four tortillas (I prefer corn) and were bland. I didn't specify what to put on them, but figured they would come with some type of salsa in addition to lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream. Out of the two, the chicken was the better one (the meat itself had a little seasoning). My husband ate his steak torta, but didn't say much about it (which leads me to believe it was just okay as well). The food was reasonable priced and has potential as the meat was tender and not fatty, but they need to serve things with salsa on the side or something to add flavor that I can't create at home on a taco night.

East of Maui is an amazing addition to Gordonsville food scene. The bagel with lox and raspberry Danish latte is my go to meal. The bagel is perfect size. Not too small, not too large. And the raspberry Danish latte is not too sweet, the caramel gives it a slight sweetness. Great food, great atmosphere.

If I could put less than 1 star for service I would. The two employees were very unprofessional and when asked simple questions, disrespectful in response. Our family of 4 ordered and watched as the rest of the line was served before us. The groups were the same size and our order was a simple 4 lattes and 2 pastries. After watching the rest of the restaurant empty, they then informed us they were out of heavy whipping cream, which two of the lattes were supposed to be made with. They also had no idea what pastries or coffees we even ordered by the time they decided to address us again. The "manager" that came to help also had a "I don't a crap attitude," which shows the trickle down to the front employees. Despite wanting to support more small local coffee spots, just go to Starbucks over this place.

My wife and I were driving on Route 33 in Gordonsville and saw what we thought would be a great little coffee shop. We thought it would be closed at 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily they stay open until 5. I went to order a regular drip coffee and was told they stop serving drip coffee 30 minutes before closing. I then order a double espresso and the barista mumbled and acted in disgust in her preparation of my drink, which was just pushing the espresso button on the multi-function coffee maker 2x. There was no apology for just missing the cutoff time and there was no need to slam doors and act uninterested in your customers. Very unfriendly, very unprofessional. Will never visit again.

This little shop is on my way to work everyday, I stop maybe once a month if that. The coffee is okay, it's nothing exceptional, it's not terrible but it's not something I seek out. I stopped in today on my way to work and I ordered a large hot vanilla latte with whipped cream, they repeated my order back and told me to pull around to the window. I said at the window for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, then they came over gave me my total and I paid. They promptly proceeded to try and hand me an iced vanilla latte. I told the girls that that's not my order, I had a large hot vanilla latte. Her response was well that's what the ticket says. I said well the tickets wrong, the person who took my order repeated my order back correctly that's not what I wanted. So she went to make my correct order, but I am convinced that she just poured the iced coffee into a hot cup without the ice and brought that to me because it literally took less than a minute to get my order. I left over to work maybe 10 minutes away, and when I went to take a sip my coffee was stone cold. I ended up dumping it, after paying almost $8 for the cup of coffee. After this trip, I will not be stopping by there again. I don't care how convenient it is, I'll make my coffee when I get to the office before I will ever give them another dime of my money.

This is one of the single most disgusting stores I've ever been in. I only paid for my hot dog because I got it off the grill before noticing. The food was not up to temperature. I touched the hot dog and it was warm at best. The chili had a clump built up 2" thick so it sprayed sideways and came out at a borderline cold temperature. The condiment station was simply unacceptable. Piles of gunk everywhere. Onions that had clearly gone bad. I will never stop here again.

I wanted to use my slurpee rewards and was charged for it. There were no medium slurpee (foam) cups so I used the large. Was not aware that you could use the soda cups for the slurpee. The foam cups are better for the slurpee anyways as it keeps it cooler longer. Also got a 1/4 lbs hotdog, the bun was hard.

The staff is so nice and helpful and the store is always clean! The food is always fresh and this is the only 711 that I can say has all this and the owners are really nice too. Always smiling!

This my favorite place for fresh brewed coffee every morning. They have friendly staff and the selection of pre-made food is always plentiful. Best convenience store in Gordonsville.

Starbucks, the iconic coffeehouse chain hailing from Seattle, is a beloved destination for coffee enthusiasts and casual sippers alike. Known for its signature roasts and light snacks, it also offers the convenience of WiFi to enhance your experience. Many patrons rave about the friendly staff at various locations, with some even going out of their way to express gratitude through tips.
This location seems to be struggling and needs some love. Products are constantly out of stock and the wait times for drinks and food are consistently 2-3x longer than other locations, even when the store isn’t busy. The photos I posted are all from today. It was slow and even with ordering ahead my order wasn’t ready after 10 minutes. To be clear, it’s fantastic to have a Starbucks in Zion, but it might be worth it to cross train staff at other stores and vise versa.

I haven’t taken a sip and this is a grande caramel macchiato. Why is it 3/4 full and costs $8? I noticed it felt light when the barista handed it to me but was rushing to work and this is truly unacceptable Went back today 8/27, ordered my coffee 15 minutes ahead of time, when I get here there are 2 baristas on the floor, I have to wait 5 minutes to be acknowledged which only happens because I call out hello. There is a barista, KERRI, hiding in the back who is always rude and argumentative. She said she would hop on bar for support and make my drink, instead she helped another customer who just walked in immediately, made 2 other people’s drinks, insane. I paid mobile so I have to wait because I can’t get my money back easily. NOT WORTH THE STOP EVERRR!! This is truly the worst starbucks I’ve ever been to and it’s clearly a problem with specific employees.

I live close to this location and stopped in before 7 am for breakfast and a drink. Attached please find a photo of the half frozen sandwich I received. The bacon was undercooked and the eggs were still hard from being frozen. I has left before opening the sandwich so I could not go back. I contacted this store and spoke to Emily who was very nice but for what they charge Starbucks needs to do better with the process before someone gets food poisoning.

I went inside the Starbucks to place an order for two ham and cheese croissants and two cake pops. It took 10 minutes to receive the food after ordering. Before receiving the food, I went to the napkin and straw bar to get napkins. The napkin and straw bar was filthy and did not have any napkins. I immediately went to the girls who was making the drinks and asked if she could give me some napkins because there were none on the counter. She told me that she would get them in a moment. My food was done and she set it on the counter and called out my name. I still do not have napkins. I asked for napkins again and she said I told you someone's giving it for you. Another person came out with a pack of napkins and was not worried about giving me any napkins but instead was going to fill the napkin container. I grabbed some napkins and left. The customer service is not very good there. And the environment is not clean.

Lady working today was flat out rude. My daughter ordered me a trenta pink drink and ask for a SPLASH of coconut milk, just a splash and she brought the drink out almost white, and she was rude because my daughter told her it was wrong. She said that "I will remake it this time but don't ask again" she also told her she would have to charge for the REMAKE .. I drink ALOT from Starbucks.. its a specialty drink buisiness. I hear all the time people ask for extra whip or extra shots or this milk or that milk or this or that, but shes going to crop an attitude because she didnt follow the directions, NO. Next time she won't be so polite to the employee... If I'm paying 6 almost 7dollars for a drink, make it like I ask... I'm getting so tired of the laziness from that store.. I will review it everyrime I visit from now on. Most of the time I go to the one near Best Buy in Charlottesville. They make it right.. (they listen to the paying customer) Zion Crossroads in Gordonsville has SOME great people, but this woman was rude and next time my daughter won't be so respectful..

I arrived at this Starbucks this morning and was repelled by the smell. It smelled like sewage throughout the whole store. I complained about it but they were still serving customers throughout the day (and the issue was not fixed). This is unsanitary for customers and for the employees who had to work all day in that awful smell. I won’t be going back.

This location is convenient to my home and I have stopped there many times. The quality of service has declined to the point I am not making the stop. This is the second time I have ordered an Impossible breakfast sandwich and it was not in stock. The first time they took my order and then left me waiting to finally ask when it was coming out. They were out of stock and I guess did not realize it so took the order but left me hanging. Today online was down so drove to the store, waited in line and was told out of stock again. This was 4 weeks since my last attempt so enough time to get stock. I like SB and like having one so close by but this will be my last time. Too bad.

Honestly, most of the time I have no problem with this location. I always get what I ordered. But showing up to the inside being closed after already ordering drinks from the app is frustrating. The drive thru takes to long when you have to be at work by a certain time. We were unable to get a refund unless we come into the store.
