Restaurant
Café Matisse, a Bahamian-style Italian restaurant, is housed in a 19th-century colonial mansion behind Parliament Square. The interior boasts French decor and walls adorned with prints of the eponymous artist. The menu offers modern dishes like veal Calamarata pasta, rack of lamb with mint crust, and mahi-mahi with heirloom vegetables.
The staff were super kind and welcoming. They brought over a second round of appetizers (which were delectable). Everything tasted amazing, especially the ravioli and octopus. The ravioli was super soft and tender, you could taste the love put into cooking it. The octopus was up there too! Don’t even get me started on dessert. The panna cotta and crème brûlée were mouth watering. It was delicious. Came out to around $400 for 5 people. Definitely a change in taste compared to some of the other meals around here.

Very cozy place. There are not a lot of places like that in Nassau. But this one is treasure. Atmosphere is esthetic, food is delicious. Tried both soups, and meat, and pasta, and appetizers. We were group of 12 people. Everybody loved this place. Enjoyed our staying outside. Quiet and cozy, like sitting in the Italian backyard.
Полина Я — Google review
Excellent! What a fantastic dining experience the restaurant is very charming and well appointed (the air conditioning a bonus on a warm day). The outdoor seating looks great and leaves you wanting to return for the outdoor experience as well in cooler weather. The table service was beyond compare and the attention to detail with a refined table etiquette elevated the experience in preparation for the superb cuisine. The food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh, well seasoned, and the portions perfect. We will most definitely be back. We highly recommend this restaurant experience.
Charlene R — Google review
Lovely restaurant in downtown Nassau, right next to the Supreme Court. The interior is beautiful and lively. The outdoor seating area also looked pleasant. Food was delicious. And all the servers were very attentive. Would highly recommend.
Tazin K — Google review
I loved the atmosphere of this cozy and chic little spot. It was recommended to us and we were glad to have gone. There isn't tons of parking but once inside the tables and layout are nice, even the bathrooms are well done. We had the seafood fantasia salad and the curry shrimp and they were both quite good. I loved the steps of focaccia and the tomato bruschetta they offered as complimentary appetizers. Our waiter was perfect, really very good and I wish I'd known his name but it looked as if all of the waiters there were equally good. Would definitely recommend it.
Michelle M — Google review
Awesome. That's the best way to describe Cafe Matisse. Don't go there looking for spaghetti and meatballs. Expect inventive, unique dishes that tantalize the taste buds. And don't skip the dessert. The white and chocolate mousse deserves 5 stars of its own.
Cindy D — Google review
Atmosphere and food is good. Service is quick. Walking from downtown, have vegan options too
Prashant B — Google review
This place is a true gem with fantastic Italian food. We had the salmon, pizza, and risotto and all were fantastic. The desserts are also scrumptious! This place has the most beautiful outdoor courtyard that is peaceful and tranquil among the hustle and bustle of Nassau. The wait staff was exceptional, making good recommendations and advising on the best menu options for a 5-year-old (pizza). The portions are sizeable, especially the pizzas. Note that water is not free, but for this caliber of a place, it makes sense. My whole family enjoyed it, which is hard to do with four different people with vastly different tastes. They also could easily accommodate my shellfish allergy which wasn’t the case at many of the restaurants we went to in the Bahamas.

Restaurant
Graycliff Restaurant, located in the renowned Graycliff Hotel, is a celebrated dining destination that has attracted the likes of Beyoncé and Jay-Z. One of its most notable features is the award-winning wine cellar, boasting an impressive collection of 275,000 bottles from 20 different countries. The restaurant offers a sophisticated ambiance with live music and hand-rolled cigars in the lounge before guests move to the garden patio for an exquisite dining experience paired with an extensive selection of wines.
The restaurant is definitely a special occasion restaurant. It’s classic old world charm with excellent service. We had so many people tending to us that I couldn’t keep track, but Lock-something (I forgot his name) and the bus boy (his name starts with a “C”) stood out! We ordered the following: Seafood medley in bechamel sauce Cheese and truffle purses with butter, sage and truffle oil 10 oz grilled filet of antibiotic free prime beef, red wine reduction and Bernaise sauce Slow oven roasted crisp duck in a Bahamian citrus sauce escoffier Mashed potatoes Creamed spinach Guava souffle Graycliff Bahamian bread pudding with vanilla gelato I really enjoyed the seafood medley appetizer and my husband enjoyed his cheese purses. Originally my steak was overdone but it was quickly rectified by the waiter who’s name starts with “Lock”. He was so gracious about the whole thing, which I really appreciated. The duck was excellent. The skin was nice and crispy and the meat was tender! The mashed potatoes and the creamed spinach were also good. The guava souffle was delicious but I wouldn’t order the bread pudding again. It had too many spices for my taste. Overall it was a good meal with excellent service, especially by Lock-whatever his name is. There’s is a $4 charge for sharing appetizers and a $10 charge for sharing an entree. If you don’t eat a lot, it might be worth it. I heard that their wine cellar is outstanding but we only had sparkling water and two diet Cokes. They had an interesting looking mocktail which I would have ordered if I had seen it before I ordered my second Coke. There’s no parking so you have to valet for $10. Remember to bring extra cash for that plus the tip.

I had an extremely great time here at this restaurant. I got to sing songs with the piano man and have the most awesome time! I gotta say the food was really good, but the prices are insanely expensive! But you get what you pay for! I would highly suggest this place!
Joe V — Google review
The great cliff restaurant has a really cool atmosphere. It’s really a fun place to eat. The service and food were top-notch. It was within an easy walking distance of the port and downtown. It’s on a really cool street with fun umbrellas hanging from the road. This place is definitely worth going to. The bathrooms were very nice as well.
Stephen S — Google review
I didn't get much to eat here, but what I did have was wonderful and all the food I saw at my table looked great, as well as at the other tables. They do have gluten free bread, but it's just standard sandwich bread. The cocktails are very good, they apparently have their own coffee. The interior and exterior are gorgeous. There is even live music, they have a person playing the piano. Will say that this is a smoking establishment and they even have some one who will roll. Another, highlight for me was the plating, they had such beautiful plates.
Natalia C — Google review
High end, elegant restaurant in a beautiful setting. We started with Conch Chowder, which was good, but not better than any other we had on the island. Tuna tartar was very good, but again, not better than any other. We shared a snapper filet, which was delicious in a somewhat creamy sauce that did not inundate the dish. Caesar salad was disappointing; a little on the small side and typical of the Caesar in a nicer restaurant. Food was all good, but not transcendent. Service was excellent and the waitstaff attentive. Very much a special occasion place. A little bit of sticker shock from the prices; there wasn’t an aperitif we had that was less than $20. The entire dinner bill for 3 was $380, inclusive of tax and tip.
Adam H — Google review
Authentic building with great atmosphere and history, but food not up to par. Extremely expensive, presumptuous for what is being served. Tourist trap leaving on past. Impressive wine cellar though.
Stephan S — Google review
A unique experience for a trip to Nassau. I decided to book the afternoon tea. What a lovely way to enjoy the surroundings. Attentive service. A nice presentation of the food for the tea. Beautiful decor to enjoy yourself and take a break from the heat.
Deanna C — Google review
This is a unique place in Nassau. The restaurant itself is located in a historic building, it also had live piano which was a very nice touch. The host was a bit judgmental in the way he looked and spoke, granted I was dressed somewhat casual, it is bahamas after all, but the rest of the stuff was very friendly. Duck was excellent, wine was excellent, they are famous for their collection. For desert I got guava souffle and that was a highlight! It is a big desert so definitely share it. Garden are looked very romantic too. Also they have a very good lunch menu but had a short trip and didn't get a chance to try it.

Japanese restaurant
Restaurant
Nobu, the internationally renowned restaurant chain by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, has established its presence in major cities worldwide. The Atlantis location mirrors the elegance and modern design of its counterparts, offering a diverse menu featuring sushi, sashimi, steaks, tempura, and various Japanese dishes. In Nassau at Atlantis Bahamas, Nobu provides an ultra-luxe dining experience with a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian influences.
This was our third time at Nobu and we can’t wait to be back. All of our future Atlantis visits will definitely have a dinner at Nobu on our itinerary. We love the entire experience. Food is top notch, service is great and ambience is amazing!! Make sure you have reservations well ahead of time. 100% recommended and worth it!!
Rachel P — Google review
If you are visiting Nassau, Bahamas, Nobu is a must if you enjoy delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere. Our waiter Hearn gave us suggestions and answered all of our questions about the different types of food being offered. The Crispy Rice with Tuna Tartar is amazing, as are the wonderfully fresh scallops. Bevan, the restaurant director stopped by our table to say hello and wish us a happy anniversary. They made our 25th even more special. These incredible chocolate treasures with ice cream were the perfect ending. Thank you for the wonderful experience on such an important day for us.
Elizabeth J — Google review
Our experience at Nobu in Atlantis was absolutely outstanding. The food and atmosphere were everything you’d expect from a world-class restaurant, but what really made the night unforgettable was the staff. The team was professional, fun, and brought an energy that made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Brandon the bartender and Loyd the bar back truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. These gentlemen didn’t just do their jobs, they made us feel like old friends, turning an already great evening into something exceptional. Their attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and great sense of humor made it all the more worthwhile. Highly recommend stopping by Nobu at Atlantis - and if you get the chance, grab a seat at the bar with Brandon and Loyd. You’ll be glad you did and won't regret it!

This was a great experience. I was able to snag a last minute reservation. The service was attentive and the menu has a wide variety of items to choose from. We had mostly small bites and they were all amazing. The blue fin nigiri was so good. We loved the mini tacos, I had the salmon and my husband got the waygu beef. So fortunate to have the opportunity to experience this restaurant after watching the chef for years.
Dawn F — Google review
The food was outstanding. The best California Roll that we've ever had! The beef and chicken skewers were tender and seasoned perfectly. The cheesecake was light and creamy with a soft cake paired perfectly with the mango sorbet. The place was very busy but the waitstaff provided excellent service.
Richard C — Google review
Brandon The bartender was amazing ! I have dined in almost every restaurant in Nassau and he is by far the best! The waiter Ian was super friendly and very accommodating providing great recommendations. The food was ten stars. I can't wait to return.
Nioshie P — Google review
Restaurant was absolutely amazing. Staff was super nice and friendly. The sushi 🍣 was great and the atmosphere is awesome. This restaurant is right beside the casino in atlantis
T.J. M — Google review
Nobu Bahamas absolutely exceeded my expectations. The food was outstanding!! Every dish felt thoughtfully made and full of flavor. I really loved the seared salmon with karashi sumiso, wagyu dumplings, Bahamian roll, spicy crispy tuna rice, and tuna tacos. The Yellowtail sashimi was so fresh, and the miso soup was simple but perfect. The staff was amazing from start to finish, and even one of the managers came by our table to make sure everything was perfect, which I really appreciated. I also had an espresso martini and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The ambience was great. It was upscale but still comfortable and relaxed. Nobu Bahamas is definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a memorable meal in the islands.

It was my birthday. My son and daughter accompanied me on this special day. My daughter recommended this place seeing that she usually orders take out from here often. The food was the best especially their signature burger. The service was top notched. Even the hostess that showed us to our table treated us like royalty. No waiting at all on this day.

Almost everything was packed with flavor, though the sushi was slightly soggy—perhaps due to the flame. The highlight of the meal was the spicy shrimp with pita, which was exceptional. The spreads were delicious, and the ambiance added to the overall experience.
Maneesh J — Google review
This is a wonderful place for adults while visiting Nassau. I have never tasted food like this - a must go, if you're not afraid to go a little in island. Has a full bar as well with many craft cocktails.
Kenyatta M — Google review
The food was very good — we especially enjoyed the chicken kebabs and snapper. The cocktails were great too. It was a quiet, relaxed setting, and we casually played cards while we ate. A really nice, chill experience overall
Isvar P — Google review
Outstanding experience, the Bahama way! Excellent from start to finish! Meal was paced perfectly, party of 8. Started as a party of 6 and we added two to the party. Every course was excellent. Every course and beverages were excellent! We will be back year after year.

We walked-in that place with no reservation the night we got to Nassau, they offered us seats at the bar which we gladly took; Thanks for the accommodation! The food was 10/10, service was great, friendly staff. It was quite cold in the restaurant so make sure you dress accordingly. The ambiance was quiet. Overall 8/10 experience!

Meze lived up to the existing reviews. The food is excellent quality and quantity, and the presentation and flavours are very good. Drinks were balanced and well presented. Service was too notch. Definitely on the go to list for Nassau Cable Beach.

John Watling's Distillery, located at the 1789 Buena Vista Estate in historic downtown Nassau, is a must-visit destination for rum enthusiasts and history buffs alike. The distillery offers complimentary tours where visitors can learn about the estate's rich history and its role in Nassau rum production. Guests can also sample some of the finest rums and spirits infused with Bahamian flavors during signature tastings at the Red Turtle Tavern.
Loved this place! Free tour and tour guide was awesome, super chill, informative and concise and the ambience and staff were super friendly and answered all our questions! Worth the stop since they don’t export, and it was such a historically rich place!
Amy C — Google review
I had a great experience at John Watling’s Distillery. From the moment I stepped onto the historic property, I was immersed in the history and craftsmanship behind their rum. One of the highlights was the Piña Colada sample. It was smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. It set the tone for the bar experience, where every drink was made to order. The on-site store and eatery made the visit even better. I loved being able to browse and take home a bottle of their signature rum while also enjoying some local bites. Next time, I would like to take the tour to find out more about the distilling process.
Maggie L — Google review
The John Watling's Distillery is a beautiful, historic property that’s now home to a rum distillery, coffeehouse, and small eatery for visitors. Stopped here as part of a van tour and unfortunately, the “tour” was short and rushed, with a guide who seemed disinterested (hence losing a star). Still, the colonial-era setting is lovely, and Bond fans will enjoy knowing Casino Royale filmed several key scenes here. Ends at the gift shop, of course. Recommended for a stop for rum, some island history, or 007 fans.
M — Google review
Got a great tour. Our tour guide was amazing, I think her came was Celina? Can't remember but she was awesome. The drinks were good and place is very cool.
Ryan C — Google review
This is a beautiful and historic estate. There is a lot of history behind this building. The tour is free. The distillery was very interesting but there isn't a lot of information provided on the distillery process itself. They provide a sample of puna colada which was very refreshing. There is an onsite store to purchase their products as well as to purchase food and enjoy a meal. Please note that walking to this location from downtown may lead you through neighborhoods that are not safe so be careful. The run and vodka all seemed well made.
Joseph S — Google review
Great tour and perfect place to escape afternoon heat. Coffee shop is first class and pina colada is among the best
Joseph M — Google review
Awesome Experience! Great Rum! The tour was simple but thorough. The complimentary Pina Coladas were amazing! Best I've every had! We got the Sampler of all 4 flavors loved all of them! Such a beautiful building and great/friendly staff
Heather S — Google review
I'm gonna start off by saying I don't like Pina Colada's, but I love their's. Spend some time here visiting the distillery (tour) history of the property and the bar. Have a drink indoors or outdoors . There is a small shop that serves food on the property. Didn’t eat there, but the food looked good. Clean restrooms and an air-conditioned facility. Great place to swing by to take a break from all the walking!

Don’t be turned away from people standing around. It was chaotic when I walked in. I Just walked in and had a seat with my wife. A waitress came by for order. I did wish there was a hostess to greet patrons and provide information and direction. I had pineapple passion cocktail which was premiere drink for Atlantis. My wife did not want to drink before dinner so she had grapefruit mocktail which was quite tasty. There was free bar snacks which was nice touch. Waitress was quite busy on a Friday night but she was nice. We felt there should be more staff. Also wished there was more ambiance like more sea glass sculptures. I expected more sea glass everywhere instead of just one chandelier. Outside view would be better if not so dark this evening.

Nice spot by The Cove for a drink, charcuterie board, or to play some blackjack while listening to live music. The patio is beautiful with good views. We had their espresso martini’s and they were strong!! Not that I’m complaining🤣 Oh, the popcorn were delicious!!!

Unfortunately the hotel added charges to our room from this bar and was unwilling to correct them before checkout and charged our credit card without approval. It is disappointing that an otherwise great vacation was tainted by a poor checkout service.

Nice little bar at the cove. Great to wine down. Has music occasionally and good drinks. Few slots and table games. A little bit of everything. No food.

Friday night we get dessert twice the size of Saturday night. We came back here for Keylime pie on Saturday night and received a portion size – half the size of the night before and in a plastic cup for the same piece, Really? When we asked why, she said they didn’t have the bowls from the night before. Something is not right with this situation. For this reason I give it two stars. The dessert was good the first night, disappointing the second night because of drastic change in portion size.

Absolutely a fabulous vacation spot. You can be as busy or relaxed as you like. Great service. Grounds are amazing. Could use a lil room maintenance but nothing that was not addressed or taken care of when asked. Staff was exceptional. Aquariums are just awesome!

It’s a cool hotel on paper However we feel highly disappointed because most of the shops were closed during our stay. We could food choice very limited. We had to go to Poseidon buffet for breakfast and dinner. We arrived the hotel a day before the tropical storm. They did not well informed the guest but just slipping a paper saying they could close facilities and would inform guests. They did not. We booked the hotel because of the access to aquadventure. Ended up all of the major attractions like leap of faith or surge or fall were closed for my entire stay!!! they did not even bother to update these to their guests. Ironically when the tropical storm was gone the hotel slipped another paper to your door saying things were resumed (not really) and check the app for update. Nothing ever updated in the app!! The hotel is badly managed. Their major competitor we stayed later update their guests about their facilities status Finally shout out to some helpful staff like those in dolphin cays and Danakly who helped me rescheduling booking

Very nice hotel - went beginning of May, the weather was very hot, there’s many restaurants to chose from: the breakfast we did the buffet every morning, just easier, but dinners at all the different restaurants were bomb - Nobu and the Italian definitely top choices. Dinners can be expensive, lunch was relatively affordable, but there are many options for both. You can walk the underground aquarium under Atlantis all the way to the beach from the hotel. There’s plenty of bars, live entertainment and a casino for adults. Lots of shops, lots to see, the kids loved it, we definitely enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone that visits the Bahamas. Very beautiful hotel. Lots of walking. There’s a gym too. The pool area for kids has an entire playground which was awesome the kids really loved it. The beach didn’t have umbrellas, the beach chairs have canopy’s but not all the beach chairs have canopy’s so if you need shade best get there early and get the chairs with the canopy. The hotel was super clean and really had everything for the entire family to enjoy, they also had giants sized games for kids and adults by the pool. Not to mention the giant pyramids slide.

Best resort on Paradise Island ☺️ love it, so many things to do, family friendly your kids will never get bored and you'll enjoy your stay. I love it, the beaches around are amazing, 50 shades of blue and the water is warm and clear, you can see the fishes. Overall I really recommend this resort. We enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly everything was great no complaints.

Loved it. If you get a day pass. Go super early so u can enjoy the whole day. Place is massive and so many to do. The Dig, massive aquarium, Waterpark, pools, beach, ect.. so many. Loved it.

Best place I’ve stayed in Nassau to date. I don’t have any children but 1)wasn’t overwhelmed by kids at all 2)I’m still convinced the park and resort was designed for adults anyways 🤷🏻‍♀️
Tannah D — Google review
Let’s talk about the cons real quick there weren’t many of them - Con : checking in at harbor side was a big hassle, we were told 1-2 hours and it turned into 4 hours. We had stopped by a grocery store before hand since they don’t offer free water in the room like a filtered water dispenser so we bought lots of goodies. They were very kind to bring it into our rooms. We had 2 rooms with a party of 6 people, we wanted just one room cleaned so we can go inside and relax since it was a lot of travels but they mistakenly had poor communication with the cleaning people and they didn’t realize the room was already clean, if we found out we would of had access much faster Pro: we love this place, we have a time share so we can go every year, the staff is beyond amazing they work incredible hard! We even had one staff member open a coconut for us when we walked out of our room and saw coconuts on the ground after lots of rain and wind. The water slides are amazing such as the leap of faith, I loved them all and the people attending the slides are awesome! Love to see so many life guards everywhere. The harbor side is incredible we loved every second, the beach has lovely areas to lay in hammocks, etc. the restaurants are all wonderful, they offer gluten free and vegetarian which is delightful. Being here for 7 nights was a dream, everyone was so kind and joyous, definitely a 5 out of 5 star experience regardless of the check in and no water dispenser, they made it all worth it! Thank you Atlantis and Harbor Side for being beyond awesome!! We love to see how much they improved on over the years on the water slides, how they have a Barbie experience since my partner is in love with Barbie and would love to advocate the Barbie experience since she has everything Barbie and is an entrepreneur + has amazing marketing skills. We feel there is a lot of people that would love to see more Barbie!

This resort was fabulous, a class act the room was beautiful. We also had a room with an ocean view. The aquarium is located on each resort, there are four resorts and condos within the properties. If you stay in the condos you have full access to all four resorts. The resort I stayed at is where the casino is located. This place is outstanding.

Flea & Street Markets
Nassau Straw Market is a traditional open-air market in Nassau, Bahamas, offering a wide variety of handwoven straw crafts, Bahamian souvenirs, and tourist trinkets. Following a fire in 2001, the market was temporarily relocated but continues to thrive with dozens of vendors selling handmade wares such as straw hats, baskets, wood carvings, and seashell jewelry.
The Straw Market is a must-visit spot located right along Bay Street in downtown Nassau, just steps from the Cruise port. It is a vibrant, two-story market featuring up to 500 vendors selling straw and wooden-made goods, conch carvings, shell jewelry, local art, t-shirts, magnets, and more. Straw weaving is a long-standing Bohemian tradition that dates back to early subsistence lifestyles after World War II. Although the original open-air market was destroyed by a fire in 2001 and later impacted by Hurricane Irene, it was rebuilt in 2011 as a sturdy, air-conditioned building designed to withstand winds of up to 200 mph. Here, you'll find authentic crafts handmade by local artisans, including baskets, hats, bags, dolls, mats, wooden carvings, drums, and conch shell jewelry. Other and various souvenir items are also available for sale. Bargaining is always welcome!

Nassau Straw Market is one of the most iconic spots in Nassau to explore local crafts and souvenirs. The market is full of handmade items, from straw bags and hats to vibrant jewelry and decorative pieces. It’s a lively place, with vendors showcasing the essence of Bahamian culture through their work. Walking through the aisles, you really feel immersed in the local atmosphere, and it’s a great spot to pick up something authentic to remember your trip. Perfect for anyone who enjoys discovering traditional craftsmanship.
Robson C — Google review
Very busy and tight. You literally have to turn sideways to walk between vendors. You will find good souvenirs, but the vendors all sell the same things, so it gets repetitive after a while. We didn't find some unique sodas. You can haggle, which is a plus. Not for the claustrophobic. It is a place you have to visit if you're in Nassau.
Rob — Google review
I have been to the Straw Market twice when I visited Nassau by Cruise. Both times we ended up buying many souvenirs here and the vendors are open to haggling and bringing down the price. They have a great collection of magnets, wooden articles that you can inscribe your name on, clothes and bags. It is a bit overpriced compared to other places in internal Nassau but it's a good place to go to when you don't want to travel much. All vendors accept US dollars.
Neha V — Google review
The hair braiding area talked people into more & more braids leaking to $100's of dollars & sitting & waiting forever. People apparently would tie a handmade bracelet on your arm then demand cash for it 😱😱 Was told before leaving the cruise to NOT leave your party.... WELLL....
Lorna S — Google review
Decent spot to shop for items you can find online. Negotiate better prices on items you like. Better things to do in Nassau but if you want to check it out to kill some time it’s good to experience once.
Ian — Google review
Great place to get deals and souvenirs. Be sure to bargain with them cuz U can easily bring them down in price.

Lots of stuff, very friendly owners and obviously English speaking so easy to communicate. Worth the walk over and we bought some bags, bracelets and hats.

Seafood restaurant
Twin Brothers is a popular restaurant in Nassau, known for its wide variety of Bahamian seafood dishes such as snapper, salmon, grouper, fried shrimp with potato salad, and lobster tail. Located in an area known as 'the fish fry,' it offers a range of seafood entrees including grouper, fried snapper, cracked lobster, salmon, shrimp and combination plates. The restaurant is also famous for its daiquiris.
Food here is excellent with the cracked conch and fish and chips very good. The fish was fried to perfection and had a slightly spicy flavor/marinade to it that made it extremely good and probably the best fish and chips we have ever had. Sands local beer is also very good and recommended

The fried snapper, coleslaw, and plantains were absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for the birthday chocolate rum cake; it was a lovely treat! Our waitress was really friendly, although we had to keep asking for water, and it took a bit longer than we expected to settle the bill. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

I ordered jerk chicken and it was good had a good flavor, macaroni is not the “American Macaroni” that I’m use to I didn’t like it, rice and beans we dry didn’t care for it. Service was terrible. We sat there for 20 mins without anything to drink and everybody kept passing by asking did our server come take our order. Daiquiri was very good had a good flavor one of the best drink I had while being on island.

Goldie's: A Bahamian Seafood Gem! If you're ever in the "Fish Fry" area of Nassau, Bahamas, you absolutely have to check out Goldie's! My recent visit was nothing short of fantastic, and the food truly lived up to its reputation. We were thrilled with our meal—the food was great! As expected, the menu is primarily fish-focused, offering a wonderful variety. We saw everything from succulent lobster to the local specialty, conch, prepared in numerous delicious ways. The experience was made even better by the atmosphere. We chose to sit outside, which allowed us to soak in the sounds of the ocean and watch the neighboring ships pass by as we dined. It was a truly memorable and relaxing setting. Overall, Goldie's offers an authentic taste of the Bahamas with an unbeatable ambiance. We left feeling completely satisfied and would highly recommend it!
Scott B — Google review
We were so disappointed eating here. It was recommended to us by a local and so we thought it would be good local food. It certainly was not. We overall did not enjoy anything at all. The conch fritters were ok, more bread than conch. The jerk chicken was soooo spicy even though mild was preferred and my surf and turf burger meat was so tough I could not eat. The rice and peas were extremely dry and the waiter was so nonchalant she didn't even ask for our drinks. Another waiter stopped and got drinks for us; she visited our table once to order & to bring food. I understand busyness but we were not checked on at all. Plus the wait time was sooo long. Spent ~$89. I cannot recommend this place and hate that we didn't enjoy this experience. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant
LostFiles — Google review
Food was below average & overly expensive!!! Definitely a huge tourist trap. While all the other restaurants along this strip had around the same prices, only Twin Brothers marked up theirs + 25% mandatory tax on top. Ordered: conch chowder — tbh, it tasted like Campbell tomato soup with a few pieces of chewy conch and a stale piece of buttered bread. Cracked conch — breading was good but conch was so chewy, came with fries which was probably the best part of the meal. IMO, this place was probably better back in the days, but there’s so many other choices out there
K D — Google review
Good food for a place like this one .. good service as well. Ordered the fish of the day and it was very well spiced and made. Comes with a side of pasta and fries .. pasta wasn’t good but the fires were real home made Price is touristy and is a bit on the high side . I was expecting 30% less on the bill

The food here was really good! Had the conch fritters, the snapper and a guava duff. I had a regular non alcoholic daiquiri and it was like a slushy. Great for a hot day! Service here is pretty good and really loved the red snapper!!

Restaurant
Anthony's Seafood and Ribs is a vibrant and casual dining spot located near Nassau Harbour, offering affordable breakfast, lunch, and dinner options without compromising on quality. The menu features a wide variety of Bahamian and American dishes including popular items like baby back ribs with homemade barbecue sauce, seafood pasta, grouper, salmon, steaks, burgers, and mega-sized salads. The restaurant exudes an authentic Caribbean atmosphere with colorful decor and uplifting service.
Anthony's Was Our JAM! The Unsung Hero of Our Atlantis Beachside Vacation! Our recent 7-night vacation at the Atlantis Beachside was absolutely fantastic, and if there's one place that became our consistent go-to, it was without a doubt Anthony's! Seriously, this restaurant was our JAM! We ended up eating there more than anywhere else on the entire resort, and for very good reason. First off, let's talk about the food – it's simply amazing! Every single dish we tried was delicious, flavorful, and consistently satisfying. From lunch to dinner, we were never disappointed. But what truly sets Anthony's apart in a resort known for its higher price points is how incredibly affordable it is. We could get a fantastic, filling meal without feeling like we were breaking the bank, which was a huge relief and allowed us to truly enjoy our dining experiences. And for seafood lovers, the fish is awesome! We had some of the freshest, most perfectly cooked fish dishes there. It quickly became a favorite of ours and we found ourselves craving it throughout our stay. Beyond the incredible food and value, the staff at Anthony's are super awesome! Every single server, host, and busser we encountered was genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. They remembered our faces, anticipated our needs, and created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s clear they love what they do, and it truly enhanced our dining experience every time. Anthony's became our comfort zone, our reliable spot for a delicious and well-priced meal, and a place where we always felt incredibly well taken care of. If you're staying at Atlantis, particularly at the Beachside, do yourself a huge favor and make Anthony's a regular stop. You won't regret it! It truly was an integral part of what made our Atlantis vacation so memorable.

Food is not worth coming back for me. This restaurant is located in expensive location, hence I don't mind expensive dishes but I expected them to be worth it. However, it didn't meet my expectations. The food is cooked very well. I ordered the Nassau Grouper and my wife ordered a Chicken Masala. Both are tender and moist but lacking of good flavor. For the sides, my wife ordered a mashed potato, which tasted good. I ordered the Peas and Rice, which was lacking in flavor. I had the same side a couple days ago from a different restaurant, which tasted much better than this.

Ribs, chicken fingers & wings $45. 3 fingers 2 in long, wings size of pigeon. Would not give me water with lemon. No service due to 15% auto tip in Paradise Island. Skip this place. No one was there eating, now we know why.

Nice spot but service was a bit slow. Food was very good, many great options at a decent price. Staff was very kind and understanding when we needed to move due to a noisy table behind us. Great place to go if you’re staying at Atlantis and are up for a short walk without going too far.

The food was ok, all in all. The Caesar salad was the best dish actually. I've dined a few previous times, and usually ordered wings but tried the cheese steak today, didn't really enjoy it. Meat looked precooked, and could have used some green peppers, but none the less I would still recommend as my experience may not be yours and today may have been an off day.

So sad to leave a bad review for this place the food was actually really good however the service was so bad I cannot leave a good review. The only drinks they have are mnt dew and bottle water other than beer. And the servers were so rude and not nice at all though they can be bad because they know they are going to add a 15% tip to your bill no matter what. Do not eat here

Bottom line first. Scary food, horrible service, abominable bathroom. Beware. So we landed late at Nassau. We were excited by the advertisement for this place at the airport, saying it’s right across the street from the resort for meals at a reasonable price. However, the set up directing foot traffic to the Marina created a slight detour. When we got there, the front person said that they were stopping service for the evening. I stated that I thought they were open until 10, and she said that they stopped service at 9:30. Only after I pointed out that it was 9:31 did she reluctantly sat us down at a table. In retrospect, we should’ve took her advice and left, because what followed was a true exercise in frustration. Although one server handed us the menu reasonably quickly and ask what we wanted to drink, it took her a while to get back to ask what we wanted for food. I ordered the coconut shrimp based on a good review, and my girl ordered one of the shrimp specials for $35 that came with some kind of chicken mixed in. I went to the restroom to wash my hands per usual. I noted that the water was running slowly, and there was no soap. On top of that, there was only a hand dryer, which is disgusting given that the door had to be pulled open from inside the restroom. Even when I told one of the members about the soap, she didn’t seem that eager to correct the deficiency. After cleaning my hands with my table napkin the best that I can, another 10 to 12 minutes went past, and there was no update on the food. Despite several members floating around, it was shockingly hard to wave down one to try to get an update for the food. We just wanted to ask how close the food was to being ready and even asked if the side dishes can be brought out first since we were so hungry. The woman said she would check but pointed out that we came in late. Really?? The food came out another five minutes after that encounter. I took one bite, and the shrimp was soft…extremely soft. Looking closer, the shrimp did not look like it was cooked through. My wife took a bite out of another shrimp– same thing. Although I was hungry and frustrated, I wasn’t about to poison myself by eating raw shrimp. Took another few minutes for us to flag down our original waitress (shocker), and I pointed out the fact that my dish was not acceptable to eat. When she had the audacity to say to us once more that we came in at the last minute, I said firmly, “if I knew you were gonna serve me RAW shrimp, I wouldn’t have stayed.“ She looked at me, seemingly stupefied, and asked if I wanted another dish. Although I initially asked for the menu, I decided just to share what my wife had and got the hell out of here. If you want bad service and risk getting food poisoning, come here. For everybody else who is not insane, find another place, and definitely stay the HELL away near closing time.

We ordered off the happy hour menu. We tried several items and they were all good. Prices are reasonable especially compared to eating at Atlantis. The server was excellent. The manager was very friendly and stopped to talk with the customers.

Carmine's is a delightful, family-friendly Italian restaurant that brings the essence of Southern Italy to life with its generous portions and warm atmosphere. Perfect for small groups, this eatery serves up hearty dishes in family-style servings, making it an ideal spot for sharing. The menu features a variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts designed to satisfy even the hungriest diners.
This place was Superb!! From the excellent service to the ambiance and the food! The portions are extremely large so be hungry when you arrive! One plate of pasta and a side of the giant meatballs fed our family of 5 for two nights!!! The mountain of calamari was worth every penny!! Highly recommend.
Flora L — Google review
We absolutely LOVE Carmine's! The atmosphere is amazing - it's cozy, warm, and has an old school Italian charm. The service was phenomenal, and the food was delicious! The portions are HUGE - like one dish can feed an entire family! We were so full we didn't get to try the desserts- so we made another reservation to go back later this week! Highly recommend! We ate: Garlic Bread (with and without cheese), Meetballs, Chicken Parm (with and without cheese).
Tanya S — Google review
We got to Carmine's without a reservation and they were able to seat us when they opened for dinner. Our waitress Shaniq was super accommodating and professional. She tried to warn us about the portions, but we didn't listen. The complimentary bread and fococcia is delicious but do not fill up on it! One order would've been good to feed 4-5 adults but we had kids so we decided to order another entree. We ordered the chicken parmesean with spaghetti and meat sauce and the ravioli with red sauce. Yes, we had leftovers and they were good! I saw another family order the calamari and it, honestly, could've been a main dish. Again, HUGE portions, good vibes, great atmosphere, and great service! Wish we had time to go back again!

When I booked at Atlantis I knew Italian is the best way to go for comfort on arrival. It’s located on the boulevard and nice to walk along the board walk. We ordered the red wine Cabernet & it was amazing and had the soft tannins of vanilla. It was just us two we order the chicken Parmesan and couldn’t move basically after eating few pieces: was amazing good food : good music and our server was lovely !

The food was delicious. A lot of food for the money. Service was outstanding. Started with an appetizer fried zucchini. I had a hard time stopping from just eating that.
William F — Google review
I don’t understand the hype. The location is great, but for a family of 4 this is not the place to go. The portions are huge, unnecessarily so. An order doesn’t need to be full pound of 1 type of pasta. The penne vodka was unlike any taste I’ve ever had, I think it literally was marinara and Alfredo mixed, inedible in all of our opinions, the chicken parm and sauce were good, but again it was too much, I would rather have smaller family style portions and more variety. Dinner for 4 was over $150 and that was with just one glass of wine.
Dawn A — Google review
We went knowing it was pricy but were told the portions were huge. Shrimp scampi ($56) was such a disappointment. It was a few shrimp only. No noodles. The garlic bread was hard and lacked flavor. The ravioli tasted like it was pre-made and lacked flavor. Even the drinks were disappointing. Worst meal of our vacation and it takes a lot to mess up pasta!
Tami N — Google review
This is probably the only and the best Italian fine dining restaurant in the Atlantis on Paradise Island. The restaurant is a bit loud and too dimmed so I would prefer a bit more light and less rowdy. The food portion size is massive as a plate of pasta can feed 3-5 people; this is why it costs $50/plate of pasta. I wish they would told us about the serving size. We ended up taking the whole plate of pasta back to the hotel for not knowing the serving size. Otherwise they wee delicious.

Murray's Deli is a delightful destination for anyone craving authentic New York-style deli cuisine, nestled within the picturesque Atlantis Paradise Island. With breathtaking views of the Atlantis Marina, this charming eatery offers a menu brimming with beloved classics such as challah French toast and bagels topped with lox. For lunch, indulge in their Coney Island-style kosher dogs served with savory beef sauce and crispy fries.
Had an absolutely wonderful lunch at this deli on property. The cheeseburger with bacon was really good. My sonabsolutely loved it and I thought it was tasty as well.. I had the Reuben sandwich and it was one of the best I have ever had anywhere in the world!!! Meat was fresh and the bread was toasted to perfection. The french fries were also hot, crispy and fresh. My friend had a steak sandwich which I also tasted and it was very good. They use high quality steak and everything was very fresh. They also have a small beer and wine selection here. The service was OK, but when you come to a fancy resort like Atlantis you would think they would just spend a little more time talking to you. In the end, I would absolutely return again and try many more items that are on the menu.

My daughter got a really bad good poising at this place, do I have to say more? We went for a “quick breakfast” and we took about 2 hours, that’s how slow the service was. An employee by accident dropped a tray full of food next to me and my feet were full of orange juice, not even napkins were offered to me to clean myself. Empty containers of butter from the previous customer were left on the table that was supposed to be clean. Atlantis can do much better than this.
C. B — Google review
Our waiter never showed, but eventually, a host noticed and, to her credit, sent a waitress right away. The Hasbrowns are a good deal and good. The potato latke are good but tint tiny things, not a meal at all and just 2 of them.

Murray’s Deli was a good breakfast spot for a group of 6 of us. We had traditional American breakfast such as tatter tots, bagels, omelette, and pancake. The only item that truly hit the jackpot was the pancakes, they were delicious! I wasn’t too big of a fan of the omelette, or the bagels but the bagel toppings made it worth it! The server was super sweet and she allowed me to substitute since I don’t eat pork. It was busy and the service did take a while for each phase but they made it the best they could have with how busy it can get here at the Atlantis. Big families and a safe area to be!

BEWARE!!! Gratuity included already! Nice place but today’s experience was a little scammy (just like the spa) we came in and asked for a table. We were able to be seated right away during breakfast hours. She sat us at a nice booth which we enjoyed and our waitress was Deniece. All got our breakfast for 3 people as you can see here on the receipt. I drank my milk within 3 minutes of it getting set down at the table and the 45 minutes we sat there not once were are drinks offered to be refilled. You can see in the next photo when we got up to leave, all of our drinks were gone. We waited atLEASE 10 minutes after finishing food for her to come back but no so we had to track our waitress down ourselves. She goes to find the iPad and brings it to us, sets it in my husbands hand and then proceeds to go through everything adding it all up and the checkout process that should’ve been done before setting it down with us. As she is standing overtop of him, he is actively checking out - gives an 18% tip (even though we probably shouldn’t have been that generous) and then she gives us a receipt afterwards. On the receipt I notice it says 15% gratuity has already been added to our bill and gives you small percentage add on advise. The photo does not reflect what actually happened since it says “$0 extra gratuity” it must’ve been printed beforehand and given after it was already paid. I was livid that was not pointed out of spoken about before we checked out. He did not see a receipt before the iPad was handed to him so he had no way to know. After the breakfast I left feeling ok about the breakfast even though we didn’t get drinks refilled but after THIS? I left feeling uneasy and feeling scammed. We won’t be returning here on future visits. We ended up giving her 32% tip on our ACTUAL BILL vat included since our bill was $80.30 and we tipped a total of $25.04. Completely ridiculous. If it would’ve been a fine dining restaurant and bigger bill I would have asked for the manager to remedy it. Instead, we decided $15 was not worth the headache. Deneice was very nice so I don’t necessarily think it was purposeful. I just think she may be new and needs more training based on the details of our personal service. I do believe the RESTAURANT needs to train servers to let people know ahead of time or they’ll start missing out on lots of repeat customers. The overall vibe was ok. It’s retro diner theme which is a little played out and nothing special but it was fine.

Marina Pizzeria, situated at Atlantis, offers a variety of traditional pizzas with assorted toppings available by the slice or as a whole pie. The menu also includes daily fresh signature salads, appetizers, desserts, and beverages. This modern dockside pizzeria is known for its simple yet delicious menu and is a popular spot for both locals and tourists. The casual atmosphere and quick service make it an ideal place to grab a satisfying meal while exploring the area.
This is the best value on the resort. Great cheap pizza gratuity included at a reasonable 18% plus a 10% vat tax. The real sleeper here is the wings the jerk wings are delicious!!! Loved these ask for the sauce on the side. They are pretty spicy. Sometimes minor gaps in the service they forget to make the pizzas so when you go to the other side double check they put it in and it’s weird they have your order number on the slip but ask ok what was your order so something is off with their system.

This place has some surprisingly good pizza. The slices are huge. They actually cut one slice into two pieces so keep that in mind when ordering if you want to try more than one kind. Bahamian Spice- this one was my favorite. Very good supreme style pizza. Pepperoni- a classic done very well.

The pizzas were gorgeous, felt great in the hand and had a lovely crunch - but as soon as it hits your mouth it’s like you’re eating cardboard. Both pizzas we tried had next to zero flavor whatsoever. Would come back if they worked on the menu a bit. Pizza slices were large and there was fairly good value, if you don’t mind lower flavor food! Atmosphere was rated lower as the inside was pretty lackluster - marina seating is perfect, but doesn’t exactly count towards the atmosphere of the establishment itself. Greek Pizza 2/5 (Great look, crunch, and texture, almost 0 flavor) Meat Lover’s Pizza 3/5 (also very low flavor)

My family loved this place! Located just outside casino entrance, it was super convenient to get to. If you're staying in The Coral, there's a tunnel you can go through by the Starbucks. Friendly service, awesome pizza, definitely the best value if you're feeding a couple people. Our favorites were the Greek, Hawaiian, and pepperoni. The Bahamian Spice was good but soggy because there's a lot on it, ask for that to be cooked a little extra. Their wings are great also! You have the options to have them sauced or to have the sauce on the side. It's less messy to have it on the side.

Marina Pizzeria is definitely a popular spot and for good reason! When we arrived, the line was long and the wait was a bit longer than expected, but once we got our food, we understood why. The pizza was hot, fresh, and full of flavor, with that perfect crispy-chewy crust that hits the spot after a long beach day. We tried a couple different slices and loved them all—especially the meat lovers. Even with how busy it was, the staff kept things moving and stayed friendly the whole time, which we really appreciated. If you're planning to stop by, just know it gets very busy during peak times, so come with a little patience. It’s a casual vibe, grab-and-go style, but the quality makes it well worth the wait. Five stars for flavor and service even during the rush!

With how expensive food can be everywhere ($10+ hotdogs, $15+ burgers), this was our FAVORITE spot to fill our bellies. Just $7 for a HUGE slice of pizza, with a changing daily special as well. Always delicious. I will say I did try their Jerk Chicken wings and wasn't a huge fan, I think maybe they are just frozen and put through their oven with sauce poured over. Kind of extra chewy meat and not very crispy. But they still deserve all 5 stars for affordable quality pizza slices.

we ordered an 18 inch pepperoni pie and a can of coke. with the automatic gratuity it came to $46. the pizza was passable for what it was but definitely was not worth the $35 they charge. im from NYC so I guess im a pizza snob. that being said dont expect a nyc pizza lol.

Steak house
Restaurant
Seafire Steakhouse, nestled within the vibrant Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, is a must-visit for those seeking a modern dining experience infused with local flair. The restaurant boasts an inviting atmosphere characterized by high ceilings and striking tile work, complemented by an open display kitchen that adds to its contemporary charm. Diners can indulge in a menu that features Bahamian-inspired starters like creamy conch chowder and crab cakes alongside classic favorites such as Caesar salad and beef carpaccio.
We had a reservation on a Wednesday night for two. The immediate inside of the restaurant with the meat freezer is a little run down, but the inside of the restaurant is nice. The bread was warmed and delicious. We had the Tomahawk for two. We asked for medium rare, and it was a little more red than I’m comfortable with, but the texture was great so I didn’t mind. The steak was cut table-side, which was really cool. We also got the mac and cheese, which was a smaller portion than expected but delicious. For drinks we got the pineapple rosemary smash and a blueberry cocktail with mint. The flavors were great and they were very refreshing. We would definitely return!

Sea fire steakhouse was a five and a five star experience without a doubt we went here as a trio or a couple and All had a lovely time. The food was exceptional and delicious. I love their vegetables as well as steaks. The restaurant is located in a beautiful part of the marina with both docked everywhere nearby. We definitely loved being here and they’re wonderful service. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much.

Wonderful atmosphere, and our servers and the staff were great! Maybe slightly overpriced, but we're on vacation and didn't care! It was our 1 big dinner and it was not a big deal! Highly recommended to anyone that asks! Steaks were tremendous and perfectly cooked!

We are a group of locals who were celebrating my mom’s birthday and this restaurant did not disappoint! The food was to die for and the service from the staff was friendly and professional. The star of our evening was Ricardo, our busser who went above and beyond to cater to our every need. He was purely entertaining, pleasant and brought great energy to our evening. He went far above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated and comfortable. A true star. My mom has said it was an evening she will never forget. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at Seafire for a beautiful evening, Ricardo we will definitely be back!

Cozy atmosphere, great service, and delicious food! I had the ribeye (med-rare), which was definitely one of the best steaks I've had, and my wife had the salmon that was cooked perfectly. We ordered the crispy brussel sprouts and the Yukon potato puree for our sides. All, so good! To drink, I had an old fashioned which topped off my dinner. It's definitely pricey but you're getting quality food and service.

Topic: Seafire Steakhouse Date: 5/16/25 Quality: 8/10 Value: 2/10 Service: 7/10 Timeliness: 6/10 Atmosphere: 1/10 Total: 24/50 Regarding the atmosphere alone, I would not recommend anyone go here. We went at 8pm for a reservation, and it is INSANELY LOUD inside. (Easily the loudest restaurant I’ve ever been in - you have to yell for your table to hear anything you say, they also cheer very loudly for birthdays FYI which occur no less than once a minute) Part of the downgraded review is that the value is almost nonexistent here, the tab was about double what we expected to pay and we split 2 steaks for 4 people. We split the New York and they did kindly split it in the kitchen which was very thoughtful. If you drink water ensure you say tap and not flat or sparking as they charge $10 per bottle of water used. $37 for two prawns and an additional $5 for one side of sauce were other standouts for being very, very pricey. House bread and butter for table 2/5 (flavorless, butter needed salt) Moscow Mule 5/5 (Perfect amount of lime) Merlot Wine 4/5 New York 4.5/5 (Large cut - almost perfect! Just needed some plating work) Filet Mignon 4/5 (ordered medium, came closer to medium rare, still fairly good, needs a bit of seasoning) Hand Cut Steak Frites 1.5/5 (completely flavorless, needs salt and some more seasoning) Potato Puree 4/5 Brussel Sprouts 4/5 (a bit too sweet) Prawns 4/5 (a bit overcooked)

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Seafire on our Atlantis vacation. The steaks were so delicious. My wife had the filet, my son devoured a ribeye and I savored a new york. Don't skip the brussel sprouts or the lobster bisque. All were cooked to perfection. Outstanding table service from Stephanie and Randy. Such a great meal!! Highly recommend!!

I am not one to complain when I dine out, but this was one of the WORST experiences I have ever had with lack of service and downright rudeness from a waiter named Geordiano. From the moment my wife and I sat down we were treated like trash. Rushed to put our entire order in within 10 minutes of being seated and didn’t even have a drink menu yet. After we did finally order, we had to beg for water refills, plates were not taken after each course (not a big deal, but you’d expect it at this place) and we were made to feel like fools for saying please and thank you. Tried to reorder another glass of wine all night and when we finally did they brought the wrong wine back to us. We were nothing but polite throughout the entire service, but Geordiano couldn’t be bothered to give us the same mutual respect in return. My wife and I both felt uncomfortable the entire night and the table next to us even noticed and asked what the deal was? The couple who was sat next to us maybe an hour into our dinner was told the specials of the night, what the staff recommends, etc. like the waiter did a complete 180, we were never told the specials or house recommendations and were just rushed to order. The best part of the entire night was when they finally brought the bill and he wanted to call me “young man” with sarcasm and pat my back… yes, you did not get an additional tip for your McDonald’s type mediocre service while everyone around us was treated like royalty. I am more than happy to go above and beyond with my tips, but if you’re going to be rude and treat us disrespectfully the entire night because we look “young” and didn’t order Pellegrino instead of tap water, you deserve nothing. Jokes on you at the end of the day because you could’ve had a 30% additional tip on top of the already included gratuity on the bill. The food was good, but the lack of service and rudeness does not justify ever coming back to this place. Go to Fish or Carmines if you want to be treated like a human when you’re spending $250+ on dining out. This was supposed to be a special night for my wife and I, but it was completely ruined by Geordiano. Do better

Greek restaurant
Athena Cafe & Bar is a family-owned restaurant located on Bay Street since 1996. It has become a popular spot for both locals and visitors, offering Mediterranean food with Greek and Bahamian influences. The restaurant is known for its gluten-free options and is a favorite lunch spot for downtown workers and savvy cruisers. Guests can enjoy their meals on the second floor or balcony while taking in views of Nassau's downtown area.
Hands down the best food is Nassau . We spent 6 nights I Nassau and the food was such a disaster and so expensive but no quality until we came the Athena’s . The food is spectacular just by reading the menu you know you are at a restaurant that cares . They used fresh mint leaves 🍃 in their lemonades it was delicious I has the passion fruit lemonade so fresh not too sweet like all the sugary drink we found everywhere else . So happy this place exist on this island it’s a redeeming grace I enjoyed the service the food the drinks everything is as so well made and well presented I 100 percent recommend this place . Please skip all the other restaurants on this island and only order from Athena’s breakfast lunch and dinner you’ll think me later

Highly recommend. We sat at the bar due to all the tables being occupied. Alex the bartender took care of us and pointed us in the right direction for our food selections. Calamari and pan fried grouper were great.
Jarrett L — Google review
Expensive, food is so-so, but why we will not return was a bait and switch of the check. Calamari ($18) was tasteless; rubber has more flavor. Honestly the gyros ($20 each) was tasty - I had the lamb, husband had the pork. The presentation is also pretty. Check arrived for $80; we put down $100. The waiter made small talk and asked if we were in on a ship (we were). However change appeared in Bahamian Dollars and a bunch of coins — to a new check of $91.72?! Apparently he had given us the wrong check earlier. But never said a thing and switched the check. We also had to ask for change to be in USD — this has never happened in all our years sailing to Nassau. I feel that they were hoping for a bigger tip on top of the 15% gratuity included in the check, and providing change in Bahamian Dollars means one might end up leaving the change. My husband captains our ship, and a fair number of our colleagues patronise this restaurant. But unfortunately we cannot recommend it. It was also noisy, dusty, and the service was lacklustre. They’d check in on you endlessly and sweep in to clear the dishes as soon as you stop eating just for a sec.
Ange B — Google review
Great food and excellent service. Really enjoyed our meal. Little pricey compared to UK prices but well worth it for a bite in the nice weather on vacation. Can recommend the gyros. I had the shrimp gyros. Drinks are great lemonade made pretty fresh and cocktails are great tasting.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had while on the island everything was so fresh and tasteful and the service was top tier. I can’t wait to go back!!! Oh and the most authentic tzatziki sauce I ever had in my life. This place is a must try!

WOW! Our taxi driver highly recommended this place to grab lunch while enjoying downtown Nassau. It coincided with the great reviews so we decided to give it a try. We entered through a jewelry store as the place itself sits above. Therefore, there is a staircase. The place itself was quaint. The staff was amazing! They were so friendly. Our server was so attentive while giving excellent recommendations. We started with the Chicken Avgolemono soup which was FANTASTIC! I’ve never had a soup like this. My husband and I split the cracked conch which was delicious. It came over fries. The sauces were also excellent. My boys enjoyed their cheeseburgers and sides. Their meals were a healthy portion. I thought prices were fair and the portions excellent. Highly recommend!
Becky K — Google review
Really cute place above a jewelry store. We walked by and decided to stop and we lucked out!! You go up the stairs (trust the process, it doesn't look like there's a restaurant there but there is). Our server was such a happy friendly likable person that I found myself thinking, could you serve me some of that great attitude with my meal?? I was so happy to have some fresh vegetables! Crisp and refreshing. They were great and so was the silky smooth hummus with a light consistency. The sandwich was very good and filling. I got a Greek salad with delicious shrimp. It was like a side salad. We shared. I would order just the shrimp but the salad was delicious too with just the right amount of dressing. We had water bottles with us. I didn't order drinks because $75 is already steep for lunch. That's my complaint is that things are priced really high (probably because of cruise ship traffic since it's so near port). The fries were still hot and delicious, thick cut with a nice seasoning. We saw the table next to us order a melted cheese dish with pita bread that they light on fire first and it made me want to try it! I'm glad we went and I'd recommend it. We didn't want to eat in a bar and were really hungry and left happy!

Restaurant
Café Martinique is a sophisticated dining spot located in the Marina Village at the Atlantis Resort. The restaurant exudes an old-world charm with its vaulted ceilings and soft lighting, offering an intimate and elegant atmosphere. Accessible via a grand staircase or a unique wrought-iron bird-cage elevator, this fine dining establishment by Jean-Georges Vongerichten features a menu of French cuisine infused with tropical flavors and local ingredients.
Too 5 meals ever - maybe #1 !! We came here with 3 of us out of the group of 7 - We went to this restaurant yesterday and had the most amazing experience with food / outdoor patio . First come to get the amazing view patio seating !!! Get there early for the amazing views of the yachts/ marina and sunset! It’s island time so 5:30- 6 ish get to view the sunset for amazing photos ! The service was top notch from Daryl I believe his name was. The food was incredible ! We got the peppercorn crusted steak w/ French mash. Broccolini side add on and The lobster cream pasta dish and shared! We then got the puff pastry dessert which was sea salt Carmel puff pastry … It was that good that we cancelled our reservations for the following day with all 7 of us and came again with the rest of our family we are here with! Got there early and were able to do 7 of us on the patio looking over the marina and all the yachts . it’s the best steak / food and view we may have ever experienced anywhere ! So fresh and amazing . There is another steak house near this area …. Seafire . I highly recommend this spot 11/10 food quality , 11/10 dessert was the perfect salty / sweet , and amazing experience overall! Bimini has live music below and it was awesome !!! Views, food and drinks were amazing. Snapper & Mahi mahi came out perfect. Not crowded and in a great location. Bartender/waiter was very friendly and accommodating. 10/10 recommend. Tip: if you order the baked shrimp appetizer, save some of the sunflower bread to dip it in 🤩

The best meal I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. Had the beef tartare, french onion soup, escargot and the lamb. I was expecting an old style escargot swimming in butter and was so pleasantly surprised at an updated version with a rich but light sauce. The addition of a little cracker instead of needing bread was a great plus. The soup was so good (the sourdough A+!) and my lamb was absolute perfection. Having been to both Le Grande boucherie in NYC and also Antoine's in Nola in the last 2 months, this, by far, exceeded the experience in every way across the board.
Rebecca L — Google review
Our server recommended the snapper, he adjusted it to be gluten-free for me, and it was DELICIOUS the broccolini and mushrooms were fantastic and there was gluten free toast we didn't have room for dessert 😅

Had the Baked Shrimp for an appetizer. It was good, but the shrimp were small. I had the Rack of Lamb for my entrée ordered Medium Rare and it was excellent. Super tender and cooked perfectly. Only issue was slow service and server said we had to order everything at once. That's probably the first time I've heard that at a "fine dining" restaurant and was rather annoyed. That led to an overall feeling of being rushed so they could turn the table. Totally understand if the restaurant was busy which they weren't.
Rick E — Google review
We LOVED this place! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful. The sourdough was delicious and freshly cut. We got the filet (medium rare) and mahi mahi as entrees. The filet came in this mushroom sauce that was very rich and flavorful. Steak was perfectly cooked, and they even gave a fun steak knife to eat it with (which i assume was french). Mahi mahi was buttery and enjoyable. For dessert, we got the mille feuille and the apple tarte tatin. The pasty on the mille feuille was buttery and delicious. It was definitely my favorite dessert in atlantis. We also got the absinthe, which is served table side. Our server gave us a ton a really interesting information on the history of absinthe and how it is drank around the world. It is clear a lot of thought was put into how a guest could enjoy absinthe, and it was appreciated! We were also given a complementary cheese dessert, which was nice! All in all, we would definitely recommend cafe martinique and wish we could come back soon!

from start to finish, our dining experience at cafe martinique was exceptional. the hostesses were gracious and elegant, greeting us with smiles and showing us to a tablw by rhe windows. our waiter David M was knowledgable about the menu and able to answer our questions and offer suggestions when asked. the pacing of courses was relaxed and well timed.the food was served piping hot on hot plates. the flavors were on point- delicious fresh hot bread melted the butter before we bit into it, beer was served in a frosty glass, and we finished our meal with a delightful souffle.the best meal weve had at Atlantis. definitely would recommend it to others.

Went for the first time to celebrate my Wife’s 50th Birthday. I am not exaggerating when I say it was the single best restaurant experience of my life and I’m from New York and been to fine restaurants there and other states. The food was fantastic but even more was the service provided everyone was kind but my server David M. Was so attentive and kind that it blew us away. I will come back just because of him. His asst. was great as well, unfortunately I didn’t get his name but will remember the smile. If you’re considering going to this restaurant, don’t look elsewhere, you won’t regret it. We felt so taken care of we smoked all the way back to the hotel. Excellent experience all around. Kudos to the management for fielding such an amazing staff.

Blue Sail Bar & Grill, located in Sandyport, offers a chic and casual dining experience with a stunning view of the white sand beach and turquoise waters. The menu features Mediterranean-French fusion cuisine, including favorites like Yellow Fin Tuna Ceviche and Bahamian Conch Chowder. In addition to typical New Providence fare, the restaurant also offers dedicated sushi and wood-fired pizza menus.
We had a party of 8 adults and 3 children under 12 (June 11, 2025). We got there around 5 and was introduced to Kareem our server. He was an absolute JOY! He was so attentive, friendly and helpful. Stellar service by him and the chefs! The food was amazing. We had everything from the grouper tacos, tuna fritters (everyone’s favorite), pizza, regular Bahamian fare to pasta including dessert. We have promised to go back again. The food was so good we had to have the chef come out and get a round of applause from the table.

Experience an absolute must in Nassau! Situated on beautiful cable beach, this gem boasts breathtaking views and tantalizing food. We had the mahi-mahi tacos (which has a bit of a kick) and the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo (absolutely delish!). Service was excellent with greeters and servers helping every guest. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

Great location and excellent service by our waiter Kareem. Overall the food was good but the lamb shank wasn’t the best I’d had. Worth a visit though. Edited in response to owners comments: To be fair we visited in March & I’ve been a bit slow to post this review. That said I’ve added a photo of my receipt showing Lamb Shank on the bill. Thank you for your kind offer J, next time in Nassau I will take you up on it.

We went to Blue Sail at the recommendation of the person driving us for the weekend. We have two vegetarians and two pescatarians so it's always a challenge. Blue Sail had a good array of food items for both. Who would have thought the chef could have made lentils taste so good? Our server was exceptional and timed our table touched perfectly

Always going to be one of my favorite places to go because of the views. The mahi mahi tacos were amazing, my pina colada was fantastic, and the crème brûlée seemed like it was made days before so it wasn’t the best. Overall, the service was great and the waiter was very kind and attentive.

Blue Sail Bar & Grill has an incredible waterfront location and the atmosphere is hard to beat. Sitting by the sea makes it a memorable place to spend time. The food, however, did not live up to the setting. I ordered a burger and a drink, and both were underwhelming considering the high price. The burger was basic and lacked the quality you would expect. For a restaurant in such a prime spot, raising the standard of the food would make the experience match the outstanding view.
Trang N — Google review
We frequent Nassau as my husband is Bahamian. The redeeming quality of this restaurant is the ambiance and the views. For the cost they’re charging to eat here, it’s absolutely underwhelming. We ordered the BBQ ribs($28) and the chicken fettuccine($28) and both were disappointing. The pasta was watery and unseasoned and though it’s said to have Parmesan in it, I couldn’t taste it. The chicken was a bit tough and tastes like it was frozen and then heated through. I didn’t even finish the pasta as I just didn’t like it. My husband’s ribs were better but that’s not saying a lot as they were still underwhelming. They seemed to be boiled and covered in BBQ sauce - they didn’t taste grilled or seasoned and they certainly weren’t falling off the bone. Most of the ribs were the fatty parts also. The peas and rice was fine and they provided a smidgen of coleslaw. We’ve been to plenty of restaurants here on the island and have had great dining experiences. Unfortunately (and for $70) this wasn’t one of them.

The food was very good and the menu provided a nice variety of options. The only gripe I have is that I made a reservation on Open Table with an added note of “birthday” and the staff did not acknowledge. Otherwise the view is lovely!

Arawak Cay, also known as "The Fish Fry," is a vibrant dining area in Nassau, Bahamas. It features a colorful row of Bahamian restaurants and food stands offering a variety of local dishes such as conch salad, scorched conch, conch fritters, cracked conch, and conch chowder.
We always enjoy going to a local place. This was a place we found 7 years ago on our honeymoon. When we recently took a cruise and had a port at Nassau, we knew we had to go find it again and remanence. The place has had a face lift and some remodeling done. The owner even went out of his way to get us some Guava Duff, a must try with in Nassau. We also enjoyed the couch salad, very spicy, asked for the spice on the side. Do miss this friendly and welcoming place with excellent food. We will see you again hopefully soon.

We found Jerry at the Fish Fry Street, a place home to more than 50 establishments that offer incredible food, specializing in seafood. It’s difficult to choose the best spot; some are well-known and celebrated, while others are more modest. However, all of them are fantastic, and none would dare to claim they are the best.
The M — Google review
Our experience at The Fish Fry was absolutely terrible. We waited over two hours just to receive our food, and when it finally arrived, half of our orders were incorrect. The service was shockingly poor — our host and waitress were unhelpful, inattentive, and to make matters worse, we were overcharged on our bill. This place came highly recommended by the taxi drivers who brought us to the area, but the whole thing felt like a set-up. Not only did the restaurant overcharge us, but the taxi drivers also tried to change the price they originally quoted us for the ride. It seemed like a coordinated effort to take advantage of tourists. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your time, money, and patience — go elsewhere.

It was our second visit back to Nassau. This trip we came by cruise. We took a taxi to Curly's for the whole snapper and seafood platter. The nassau grouper is enough for me to return yearly. Then we walked down to the beach. We were given free chairs to sit in with a purchase of a drink. O'neill with a taxi service was dropping people off and offered us a ride back. His van had air and he was alot friendlier than the first driver. The first driver didn't talk and charged more. $28 there $20 back. Walking would have been good if we didn't have children. I definitely would recommend a trip to the fish fry. You can even rent jet skis and go on banana boat rides here.

They had nice crisp air inside. The food was mid though. I got a fried lobster tail. The perk wings were not "pan chicken" it was cooked in the kitchen and just sauced. No smoked flavor.

Food was okay. But the fish was filled with bones - making it hard to eat or enjoy. Flavour was great tho! Service was good too - but waited 45 min for our food. So don’t go hungry! We did get to see some turkeys and manatee! That made it an experience!

The food was not good at all. Our waiter did not understand the assignment and bought us three different meals. Charged me $2 for a water I never received. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dining at Chopstix in Atlantis was a true delight from start to finish. The moment our dishes arrived, the aroma alone set the tone for a fantastic meal. We enjoyed the pan-steamed dumplings, fried shrimp wontons, and General Tso’s chicken — each one cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The food not only looked and smelled incredible but tasted every bit as good. A perfect blend of freshness, texture, and taste. Chopstix is a definite must-try for anyone visiting Atlantis who appreciates quality Asian cuisine.

My sister and I decided to try Chop Stix on our second day in the Bahamas after hearing rave reviews about it. Although the restaurant wasn't busy, we encountered some attitude from staff because we didn't have reservations--despite plenty of open seating, I didn't see the issue. The service was notably slow; thankfully, we didn't order any drinks, as that would have likely caused more frustration. We did need multiple refills for our small water glasses. For our order, we had egg rolls, Singaporean noodles, and a pork stir-fry. I'm glad the food arrived hot and flavorful, as I might not have tolerated the sluggish service otherwise. Overall, I was patient, and the quality of the food was the saving grace for this place.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Chop Stix! We reservation for a tuesday night. We got shipwrecked monk cocktail “tiki for two” so it came in a fun glass ($28). Cocktail was great and a decent price for Atlantis. I got beef tenderloin as my entree. It was a bit overpriced ($52), but very flavorful. Portion could’ve likely been shared. My partner got the catch of the day, which was a snapper. Served hot, paired well with sauces provided. Our server was amazing. He took the time to learn our names and their birthday song was awesome. High point of our trip.

From the time we walked in until the time we left we were all blown away by the food, the atmosphere and the service! The entire resort had great food but this was hands down the absolute best food on the resort! Kristen upstairs was so friendly and helpful. She needs to be recognized for her hospitality and customer service.

We didn’t have a reservation but they insisted that we sit right at the bar even though the surrounding tables at the bar were empty!! The creamed collard greens were delicious! The corn bread & famous chicken were not impressive at all! The octopus was excellent! The bartenders were very nice & engaging! I’d recommend making a reservation way in advance for the dining room.

A wonderful first night dinner at Baha mar and Marcus was on point. Everything was perfect. The service the food and the atmosphere was amazing. 5 stars and make sure you have a reservation. Also supposedly an amazing sunset floor that we didn’t get to check out but will next time

Rashan is the best waiter!! Make sure you get him and tip him well because he deserves it!! he recommended great dishes, and drinks! He was also very friendly and funny! Cornbread!! Make sure you get it and put lots of butter on there. It is so good! I highly recommend the shrimp grits, it’s very rich, but super good. Definitely a lot of calories.

This was our second visit to Baha Mar, and after missing the chance to dine at Marcus Chop House the first time, we made it a point to book months in advance for this trip—and let me tell you, it was so worth the wait! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately knew we were in for something special. But what truly elevated the entire experience was our incredible server, Matthew. He was an absolute standout—attentive without being overbearing, lightning-fast with everything we needed, and genuinely kind and personable. It's rare to encounter someone who makes you feel both completely taken care of and totally relaxed, but Matthew did just that. He truly made our evening unforgettable. As for the food—WOW. Every dish we tried was nothing short of phenomenal. From the perfectly cooked steaks to the vibrant, flavorful sides and indulgent desserts, the entire meal was a masterclass in fine dining. The presentation, the flavors, the ambiance—it all came together for an experience we’ll be talking about for a long time. If you’re visiting Baha Mar, do not miss Marcus Chop House—and if you’re lucky enough to have Matthew as your server, you’re in for a top-tier experience. We can’t recommend it enough!

Excellent menu with tasty starters and specials. Don't miss the cornbread and the conch salad. Very well crafted cocktails and a solid wine menu round out this location. Try the Starry Night!

Wow…there are several places to eat here at Baha Mah BUT not any that I’ve found that were as good as this. Appetizer, Conch Fritters. Salad, Lettuce Wedge was HUGE (share this $17 starter), Entree’, Grouper Seared on both sides and finished in the broiler. Veggies (Collard Greens), were spot-on Great! Drinks were refilled before empty. My GoTo spot for dinner. You must have a reservation well before dinner. Lesson learned! It sells out. We sat at the bar.

We had an amazing dinner! The lamb chops were incredibly tender, and the collard greens were full of flavor. Exceptional service by Cornell made the experience even better. Dining here while at Baha Mar is an absolute must!”

Sapodilla Estate is home to the renowned fine dining establishment, Sapodilla. The restaurant offers exceptional Bahamian cuisine and top-notch service in a beautiful setting. With floor-to-ceiling windows providing stunning garden views and soothing island-style interiors, diners are treated to a feast for the senses. The chefs at Sapodilla use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that showcase the flavors of the Bahamas.
Absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend!! The service is first class and will not disappoint. That said I'd like to give a big shout out to Earl. He made our anniversary dinner experience at Sapodilla feel like dining with close family. He has great attention to detail and is just a wonderful down to earth gentleman. I'd also like to say thank you to the pianist who sang an anniversary song for us. What a truly magical experience to be blessed by her graceful talents. The food is well seasoned and while being on the fine dining side it clearly is rooted in the cultural flavors of the Bahamas. That said I would highly recommend the red snapper and or the pork belly as entrees. Again I highly recommend you visit!

This is a beautiful venue with great service. So you would expect the best of everything. The atmosphere was so nice. A woman played piano while we ate and took suggestions for music. A few of the dishes were made table-side. The Caesar salad was really good. So was the dessert. We had the banana flambe. The menu was limited, and the items we wanted were not available. I believe you can order a car to pick you up and take you back to your hotel, but you should ask. Overall, it was a nice experience. I took a star off due to the limited menu items and small dishes.

Cannot recommend enough. Staff is super super welcoming and sweet. Drinks are great as well as food. Decoration is beautiful. It's a very fancy restaurant but the prices are not that much higher than other restaurants in Bahamas. There's a free shuttle to take you home after.

This place was amazing! The setting is an old home and the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. Our server, "Earl the Pearl" was awesome; so friendly, and make excellent recommendations. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect, not "stuffy" just relaxing. They even serenaded me with "Happy Birthday". There was a pianist playing familiar tunes as well. I felt the prices were very reasonable. They even provided free transportation back to our hotel afterwards. If/when our travel leads us back to Nassau, we would definitely dine here again.
Janet S — Google review
Move on. There is nothing to see here. Service is nil. This place does not train its staff. We have had an event for a large group. Service was very slow. Waiter dropped a whole plate of food on a couple and then the staff had a 10 minute meeting to decide when and how to clean! The steak was VERY overcooked and everything was very salty. They run out of the main dessert, a rum coconut cake, so most of my table got a gelato. Honestly for a corporate event booked months ago??Appetisers offered were below average and were served with no napkins!!Thank god the resort where w’re staying has some world class restaurants. This is a one and done for me.
Martin M — Google review
BEAUTIFUL grounds and restaurant! We were blessed to have Earl as our server who taught us so much about the island while entertaining our appetites. This was our first culinary experience on the island and it will be hard to top this! We had the snapper for dinner and ice cream with garden fruit for dessert and couldn’t recommend more!! Oh and loveddd the piano player!

'Estate' is appropriate for this luxurious place. Their driver picked us up and brought us back to our hotel. Exquisite service and well prepared menu items of local cuisine. The grilled Caribbean lobster was delish. The artwork alone is worth the trip, and the live music makes you want to wait to be seated.
GK — Google review
My husband and I could not get over how amazing the food and service were. And the estate itself is reason enough to eat there. Trevor are waiter who was so much more than that, he whipped up bananas foster right in front of us. The pianist was beautiful as well, dedicated a song to us. Again, what an amazing place! You must try!

This contemporary dining spot offers an exquisite menu crafted by renowned sushi chef Katsuya Uechi, showcasing the best of Japanese cuisine with a focus on fresh ingredients like cucumbers. The restaurant features a stylish ambiance designed by Philippe Starck, providing both indoor and outdoor seating options that enhance your dining experience.
Thank you so much to the amazing staff who did their best to squeeze us in even though they were at capacity! The host was just amazing. She had a queue of customers, some a little intense in their demands & behaviour but she dealt with them so well and professionally. I would suggest to enforce some security to ensure there is a clear line for entry as it was very very messy outside. Aside that food was delicious we came twice during our stay! Thank you again for the exceptional service from start to finish…. duck fried rice our favourite. We loved it! 😋

This was one of the best restaurants I have ever stepped into. First wait time was very short and accommodating the lady at the front desk was genuinely friendly. Oh but when we went in to eat that's what got me. Their waiter Leonardo gave the best service we have ever gotten. His approach, his conversations, his down to earth position was very accommodating. Hats of to him and his helper Najee the both were great. The food was 10/10 , the price was great. All in all I give the whole experience 10/ 10. Continue the great job you all are doing.
Gibson P — Google review
Great service from our waiters. Very nice, friendly and helpful. After the waiter made some menu suggestions, we decided to go with the Katsuya tasting menu. Almost everything was good. The least favorite thing was the green tea dessert. I'm not a green tea fan and it probably is good for someone that likes the green tea flavor. Everything else on the tasting menu was awesome/excellent. Our favorite thing was the spicy edamame. The wagyu fried rice, sashimi, handroll were all excellent. No complaints and I would definitely return.
Christopher A — Google review
We ate here 27jan2025 and it was amazing. The servers were friendly and made great recommendations. We loved the wagyu gyoza, sushi and drinks. The lobster tacos, even though there was a lot of meat, lacked flavour. Would definitely recommend going more than once.
Lisa B — Google review
I like the restaurant atmosphere and the food was meh, I just have to say that the woman that worked there were not nice at all and rude. Specifically, the host and the waiter, both female. It’s not Service with a smile, it’s more like they don’t wanna be there. I don’t wanna help you. The edamame beans are the best. I’ve never had edamame taste this good before. It’s perfect with a Bere, but unfortunately our Bere was somewhat cold and not super cold for a $16 Japanese beer. You think if you’re paying that much money you get a cold beer I’d have to say the Toro was not good. The slices were too thin and all the sauce they put on it just takes away the flavor of the Toro. I think we spent like $79 on lobster tempura which sounded really good, but it was dry and tasted like cheap fish. It was the worst thing on the menu for sure. The Wagyu yakisoba was amazing, but it was too oily and it lacked the flavor of yakitori sauce. The pork dumplings were great!! Definitely order that. The prices here We’re just insanely expensive for mediocre food, especially the crappy lobster tempura. I guess I can’t complain when you’re buying bottled water in your hotel room for $24.

Katsuya – Baha Mar Ended the evening with dinner at Katsuya, and it was the perfect close to a long day. From the first bite to the final pour, everything flowed beautifully — elegant service, bold flavors, and that signature Baha Mar energy that makes you linger a little longer than planned. Sleek ambiance, impeccable plating, and sushi that lives up to the reputation. A beautiful way to end the night! - Michelle

One star only because their rice was the highlight of the night and their Wabi-Sabi drink. The rest of the food was a culinary disaster. It was plated and presented beautifully, but 4 out of the 5 dishes we ordered were borderline inedible. We were highly disappointed, especially because this was a restaurant we had been looking forward to trying. The server provided great service.

Must visit! Not just "good food for Paradise Island", but genuinely good food! On a 7 day trip, we ate here 3 times! The portions are impressive and a great value for the price! Try the classic burger and the All Crisps On Deck and you'll be living your best Bahamas life! Also, you get a free refill on soft drinks! Be advised: everywhere on Paradise Island adds an automatic 15% gratuity and 10% "value added tax" to your bill, regardless of the level of service provided. Expect service to be slow but the food to be hot.

Came here looking for a budget friendly(ish) dinner option at Atlantis, and we were not disappointed. The portion was huge even for their basic burger. The staff were incredibly friendly as well. Good place for a late night bites as well.
Pia R — Google review
One of my favorite burger joints in Paradise Island around the Atlantis resort. This is located at the very end of the Marina. The portion sides are huge. I had the mahi mahi burger and that was delicious. It can get a little crowded and I say it is worth the wait time. The service was good and food was prepared in a timely manner. Overall, loved it and will definitely stop by next time I am on Paradise Island.
Isaac O — Google review
They give you a lot of food. Burgers are huge and tender but flavor doesn’t come through maybe due to that. Onion rings I had were really good! I had the Eleutheran Burger. Convenient place to eat if staying at Harborside Resort.
Najee K — Google review
Got here early for dinner with my 3yr old son. Service was quick, probably because I was the only person there. Food was actually very good. Big portions for the price paid. I got the double burger and a kids burger for my son. Probably the best meal I've had on the island.

Good eatery point for burgers and shakes. Food is good and tasty, shakes also nice. Service definitely needs improvement, takes lot of time. Ambience is nice, not great. I took vegetarian burger and strawberry shake, both are good.
Atul S — Google review
Great burger joint. Portions are big. We got takeout and ate next to the water, which was beautiful. A stray cat came up to us, meowing constantly, but wouldn't eat any food we offered. My brilliant wife determined it was probably thirsty (since the weather was boiling hot) so I went to the nearby Starbucks to get a cup of ice water. The poor little guy lapped up the water for like 10 minutes straight. He was then ready to scarf down the leftover burgers (the portions were so large we couldn't finish them, justifying the relevancy of this tangent to the review). Overall, 10/10 experience; granted the cuteness of the cat was incorporated.
Bilal A — Google review
Food was ok compared to what I've had in the island so far. Prices were ok, $10 for a plain burger and $12 for a cheese burger and keep going up the more you add or + sides. Burgers don't come with a side and the ketchup tasted weird. And when I say "plain" it means not sauce, ketchup, mayo or anything like that. They come they lettuce 🥬, tomato 🍅, onion 🧅 and pickles 🥒. Overall not bad but there is a lot of improvement that can be achieved with little to no effort.

One of our top restaurants at the Atlantis. The ambiance is great with the best views. The service is friendly and prompt. The menu is simple with robust alcohol choices. It’s pricey for the general quality, but you’re in paradise!

Ordered ceviche, conch fritters, vermicelli Mac n cheese (they ran out of vermicelli and gave us elbows.), and the grouper. Grouper was great but they way over did it the butter passion fruit sauce. Over powered the fish. The Mac n cheese was watery, very oily, and punching with salt. Conch fritters were okay, nothing special. The ceviche was good. Overall, this is a way over priced tourist trap and probably won't come back. Jose andres needs to come here for quality control. Also, we saw two whole lion fish get sent back, what's up with that

Beautiful view and excellent food! Definitely coming back here next time! Shrimp and grits were the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot! The grilled striped bass very close to it! The avocado and goat cheese salad as I must have. Don’t get me started on the lobster mac & cheese…. To die for!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fish Restaurant – Highly Recommended! One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in the Bahamas. The food is simply outstanding – incredibly fresh seafood and fish, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The staff was amazing – friendly, attentive, and full of fascinating stories about the island, the ingredients, and the local cuisine. They even treated us to extra tastings of different dishes! A perfect combination of flavor, atmosphere, and service. Don’t miss it!

I just cannot say enough about this place. Is it pricey? Yes!! Is it worth it? YES! The food was outstanding. We chose the shared plates option which is a great deal considering the amount of food you get. If you like to try different kinds of seafood, this is by far a great way to do it. Hermaine was our server and "Oh My Goodness, did she ever go ABOVE and BEYOND!!! She is oustanding at her job and should commended in EVERY way!! I love it here! the key lime daiquiri was my favorite drink! The Fish Experience shared option was our favorite. There are 3 shared option experiences. The place is very clean and decorated very nicely! Reservations are a must! Fine dining takes time! If you order the shared option, be aware and plan to spend a few hours at dinner. IT IS SO WORTH IT!!

Ate here for dinner one night. It was only okay. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table even when arriving on time for our reservation. The food was average but the service was awful. The server kept forgetting our drink orders for over an hour. The twice baked potatoes were burnt. The fish was fileted beautifully. The chicken had bones in it, which made it hard to eat. But as I mentioned the service was awful and we would not return for that alone.

Absolutely loved the food at Fish! Our server was Carlette who gave us some good suggestions on what to have. They started us off with these little buns with a delicious butter (wish i remembered what it was called) but was amazing. Then had the Shrimp Mojo Negro which was one of their signature appetizers. Big pieces of shrimp in this amazing sauce. For our mains, we ordered the Striped Bass with grilled mushrooms and Pulpo de la galle (grilled Octopus) Both again was amazing. They surprised us with a dessert which were 2 lemon custard tarts With a Happy Anniversary written in chocolate on the plate.

Ambience/Atmosphere: Gorgeous restaurant. Very beautifully decorated. Has ambient lighting around the bar. Indoor/outdoor seating available. Cleanliness: Appears clean and well kept however, there is a sour scent upon entering indoors that is noticeable at first. Customer Service: Prompt and attentive wait staff. Wait: Order to table was very prompt. Food comes as prepared ie. in no particular order. Menu: Many many options to choose from. Starters, small plates, tempura, bao, main plates, lunch specials. Vegan/Vegetarian options: Yes, available. Presentation: Everything was beautifully presented. Taste: Delicious with fresh ingredients. Price: $30-70 OVERALL: Worth a trip. Sushi is well done and offers a good variety. Cooked food was also delicious. Service is great and price is as expected for the food and area.

Firstly, the hostess on duty the evening I visited wasn't very cordial or helpful. Upon arrival, she insisted the restaurant was full but reservations were coming in So, I walked out, called reservations and was able to book a later dinner reservations (no suggestion on her part) The restaurants says it accepts walk-ins but do yourself a favor, call ahead and book reservations. The waiter though, was very friendly and attentive, offered great recommendations on the cooked sushi. The food was great, nice and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely, worth the visit.

Food was amazing - A lot of options on the menu. Very diversified as well. Service was great, we were supposed to eat inside but i thought it was quite cold when we walked in to check in so i requested a table outside and they accommodated us instantly which is greatly appreciated. Staff is very friendly. Ambiance was quite inexistant (for outside at least). I didn't notice any music or entertainment of any sort. Not enough to bother though - We enjoyed the quiet during dinner; Although kids around us were being quite loud (Games on iPad was pretty noisy + screaming and crying but hey! Could've definitely been worst)

The Cricket Club Restaurant & Pub is a great place to eat if you're a sports fan or just looking for a nice place to relax. They have TVs all over the place so you can watch your favorite games, and their British breakfasts are delicious.
Beware of this menu, delicious and dangerous. Conch was hot and fresh. Ox tale, chicken curry and burger was cooked to perfection. Now, sides are something else. Potato salad, coleslaw, fries were amazing and lots of flavor. Highly recommended

As a newcomer to The Bahamas, I wanted to try something truly local—and I’m so glad I did! I had sheep tongue souse for the first time here, and it was absolutely delicious. If you’re visiting, this dish is a must. I’d come back just for the souse alone! I also ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. The steak came a bit overcooked at first, and then slightly under the second time, but the staff handled it incredibly well. They were so accommodating and went above and beyond to make things right. Once everything was sorted, the steak turned out phenomenal—juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly to order. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the portion sizes more than make up for it. You definitely get your money’s worth, both in quality and quantity. The place does get busy, so there might be a bit of a wait, but with the stunning views and great atmosphere, it’s well worth it. I’ll definitely be back! المطعم مميز من ناحيه الاكل جدا لذيذ والطاقم فيه اكثر من رائع انصح بشوربه اللسان عشره من عشره وطبق الستيك

I Don’t feel sorry for this review, Nassau depends on tourism most of everything for income, when we got to the Cricket club, of course we ordered the conch fritters, $4.50, super spicy, sauce too, the grilled snapper $24, super spicy too, the rice and plantains were good, beware rest of the world, pepper in Nassau means spicy hot! And drinks. No matter the food Mrs Tammy treated us like she was giving the food for free. Rude, mad or she was having a bad day. The rest of the staff was very nice and polite.
Charlie R — Google review
The food was delicious, and the serving size was very filling. You are not going to walk away hungry. We ate outside and you cand see old ruins of Fort Charlotte from the colonial days. The price tag in comparison to other restaurants was cheaper. The only draw back and my criticism is not only to this restaurant, it's for every place that provides any type of service, is they tack on a 15% gratitudy tax and when the staff brings you the check they ask if you want to add a tip. My tip is that 15% grtitudy tax is just paid. And you feel guilty if you don't. At another restaurant I was told that gratitudy tax is split up amount the staff, sometimes not the person who served us. I should say who my tip goes to. But regardless it's a must see and tast their food.
Al S — Google review
This place is hard to review. The food was excellent and prices were decent. My wife got the grilled shrimp and veg packet and I got curry shrimp with plantains and macaroni. We also split the cracked conch snack. The food was excellent; however, the service and wait time after ordering was not. We got there at 1215 on a Sunday and found a table immediately. However, it took until 130 to get our food. It was very crowded but still took way too long and all of us customers were getting angry. People at tables all around us were pissed off. One table who got a fried mahi mahi and a seafood pie told us they had been waiting almost 2 hours. It was so so slow. So I would recommend going but only when they are not that busy.
Stuart D — Google review
Everyone should discover this absolute gem 💎. Locally owned and staff with the best of the best, the atmosphere is welcoming and staff goes above and beyond expectations. There was no wait when we visited. We had the conch fritters and fish chowder to start. We all had crab rice. I had cracked conch, Glen oxtail, Jackie whole grilled snapper, and Bridgette had cracked lobster. The portions and sides were substantially large than our appetites so everyone took away "doggy bags". Price reasonable for families -- and they were plenty of those visiting while we ate and chatted. My only let down was I was willing to purchase tee-shirt that said The Cricket Club but they were none available for sale. 5 stars and two thumbs way up!

The venue offers over 20 varieties of daiquiris made with fresh fruit, including classic flavors like strawberry and pina colada, as well as unique combinations such as mango and coconut. Visitors can watch the staff skillfully craft these smooth frozen drinks right before their eyes.
We walked here while staying at Baha Mar & had the best daiquiri we've ever had, served by the friendliest guy. I had a piña colada one & my boyfriend had the mango. Freshest fruit & absolutely delicious. Bring a dollar to add to the wall collection! There are also several little shops selling souvenirs close too. A must stop. These drinks were heavenly!

Best Daiquiri on cable beach and possibly all of Nassau. It’s worth the walk out of the hotel to get a frozen treat. Marc will take great care of and make the best Daiquiri around! Don’t miss it.

This place doesn't serve food to my knowledge, so no rating on the food. The service and atmosphere are phenomenal and there is. Small straw market to peruse while you drink. The bartenders are friendly, courteous, and hilarious and the drinks are strong and delicious. Definitely recommend you stop in while you are there.

Love this place. Been here a dozen or so times since they constructed bahamar. They have great drinks and you can get with or without alcohol. Drink currently are 15$ with booze in em as of Nov '24. Try the coconut with lime!

Also on our island tour. Nice little dive with some good drinks, reasonable prices and a very polite and respectful young man who served us. If you ever visit Nassau please take the time to go here!! You will not be disappointed!! A few seats around the bar and a couple tables outside. Interesting decor...

Daiquiri was wonderful! I had the strawberry mango. I would def recommend at least 2 trips there! They do offer non-alcoholic versions for children. This is a wall-less(open air) establishment so your children can sit right at the bar with you. There are also picnic tables with umbrellas over them to shade you from the sun. (Side note: there are shopping/souvenir shops right behind the shack)

Staff are incredible here, so very friendly and fun! Observed them making the daiquiris closely, the fruit was fresh and well prepared. The drink itself- tasty and powerful! 😅 Outside seating in the balmy weather was perfect! They closed at 9:30 on a Saturday night which was a shock.

The Point Restaurant & Bar is a great place to enjoy a Bahamian sunset. The menu has a selection of salads and sandwiches as well as steak, chicken and seafood prepared with Bahamian flair. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Crystal and Darnisha are amazing! The chef makes tuna tata, mango cucumber is to die for! The drinks are strong but satisfying! The Bahama mama is sweet, the margaritas you’ll only need 2! The bbq sliders 👌🏿👌🏿

A delightful brunch with a view! The fluffy stack of pancakes topped with fresh berries and cream was absolutely delicious — perfectly golden with a drizzle of syrup. The single-stack version was just as tasty, ideal for a lighter appetite. Coffee and hot chocolate were rich and satisfying, rounding off the meal beautifully. The ambiance? Hard to beat. Outdoor seating was breezy and relaxing, with a stunning waterfront view of the harbor and cruise ships — a picture-perfect setting for a celebration or a laid-back morning. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Atlantis Harborside!

4 stars for everything, but a 2 star overall? Value! Which, I get is rarely a thing at a resort, but omg...wow! 🤯 We only tried Sunset Point for breakfast, and honestly, the price alone makes it hard to recommend. My husband and son picked up food to bring back to the room: French toast, pancakes, 2 eggs, sausage, hash browns, two juices, and a coffee. The bill? $98. The food itself was fine—nothing to complain about in terms of taste—but breakfast just isn’t worth nearly a hundred bucks for three people, especially when it’s standard items you could get anywhere else. Bottom line: Unless you’re okay paying resort-inflated prices for very basic breakfast food, skip Sunset Point. There are better ways to spend your money in Nassau.

Chicken satay So salty we couldn't finish it. Peanut sauce was nothing special, warmed up peanut butter with a little lemon grass Tuna tartare Awesome. Very fresh, big chunks of tuna. And was very generous with the portion. I'd get this again Service was very slow. We ordered to go and they served people who were dining in who were seated 10-15 minutes after we ordered before us. In a pinch maybe I'd try this again and order the tuna tartare. And try something different and will update my review accordingly.

The Sunset Point Restaurant & Bar easily has one of the best views in the Atlantis resort. We came here for dinner to enjoy the sunset with some food and drink. We ordered a few drinks and the tuna poke, fried calamari, grilled salmon, fish tacos, mahi mahi burger, and jerk shrimp flatbread. The drinks were standard and refreshing. The tuna poke was small in portion but tasty and refreshing. The fried calamari was fried well and also tasty. The fish tacos were fairly decent in size and delicious. The mahi mahi burger came with a nice lemon mayonnaise that made the overdone and slightly dry mahi mahi taste better. The jerk shrimp flatbread was especially tasty but left me wanting for more shrimp. The salmon was unexpectedly the best dish of the night. It was moist, tender, and easily some of the best fish I had on the island during my entire stay. The presentation was also unexpectedly elevated compared to the rest of the other dishes which was a welcome surprise. Overall, I'd recommend dining at Sunset Point to enjoy the beautiful sunset with some decent food and drink. Once you're done you can take a nice soak in the hot tub and pool located less than 20 steps away to round off a perfect night.

Quick tasty meal at the Harborside Villas by the pool. Ordered basics: cheeseburger, chicken fingers. The fries were good too. Quick service.

Chef Nadia made our meals with halal meat (arranged by the Atlantis hotel where we are staying). Chef Nadia was very polite, friendly, and welcoming and ensured our experience was a great one. My steak was amazing, and the jerk chicken was beautifully made and was lush. Our waitress went far n beyond to ensure we had a great time,

Honestly, the only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the food was decent and the view was pretty. However, I was very disappointed at my experience. I am staying at The Royal so we walked since it’s really not that far and wanted some views on the way. The service at The Royal vs Harborside (at least this restaurant) is night and day. There were barely any tables, yet it took forever to get our drinks and food. Not to mention they were out of a lot of things. I received my piña colada spilling over. The food was just ok; nothing to write home about. Our waitress was Melissa, and she just didn’t develop the same relationship we’ve developed with all our other waiters since we’ve been here. It just left a lot to be desired. I’d say don’t leave the main Atlantis campus if you don’t have to; you’ll have everything you need there.

The Poop Deck at Sandyport is a renowned seafood restaurant and bar in Nassau, serving locals and visitors since 1972. It offers Bahamian-style seafood with stunning views of Nassau Harbour from its upper deck bar. The restaurant's unobstructed views of turquoise waters make it a popular choice for dining. Guests can enjoy dishes like cracked conch, fritters, and the highly recommended conch chowder served with johnny cake.
Ok. When I first saw ‘poop’ in the name of this restaurant I was thinking, No thank you! Yet for sure was the best dining experience on my first trip to Nassau. The service, views, atmosphere, food, etc etc etc. all was amazing! I would definitely come again. Keep up the great work!

Quinn was our waiter tonight and we couldn’t ask for a better one! Attentive, caring, super fast. He suggested us what he thought was best and it didn’t disappoint. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. If you’re visiting the Bahamas like us and wanna try authentic, great food, this is the place!!! I highly recommend it! Thank you, Quinn!!

So happy that we stumbled upon this place. Service was great the food even better. I got to pick my own red snapper from the tub upfront and they cooked it and seasoned it to perfection for me. It was soo fresh. We sat outside with a beautiful ocean view/breeze. The kid portions are big too! We tried the best homemade spicy sauce to and it was perfect with my fried snapper. Highly recommend!

The conch chowder was fantastic. We ended up ordering a cup and then a bowl. Cesar salad and dim sum was also tasty, but I’d avoid the ahi tuna. The catch of the day also looked amazing! Nice patio with overhead fans overlooking the beach.

The Poop Deck exceeded all expectations…if the name weren’t appealing enough, it gets even better once you’re inside. The restaurant is right along a quiet beachfront which makes for the perfect atmosphere. I was expecting some fresh and filling food and tasty drinks and came out with legitimately the best fish wrap, fruit punch, and Bahama Mama cocktail I’ve tasted in my entire life. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. And to top it all off, we received the kindest and friendliest service from Warrington during our time at the venue. This place is now a staple in my future trips to the Bahamas. Highly recommend!

I would be a liar if I told you that the food was not good. The food is absolutely amazing. The customer service was lacking. The decor was old, ugly and outdated. They could use some renovation. Besides that, it’s right along the water so you can sit inside or outside. Because my family and I walked from the resort, we decided to sit inside. I wanted the fried snapper but they charge market price for snapper which was $94. Instead I got a snapper fillet which was to die for. Everyone else got conch which was a good idea. I enjoyed the steamed conch along with the mac and cheese side the most. The drinks were made really strong so I only needed one. Perfect spot to unwind as it’s quiet and the food is nice. Also, lots of the locals speak Creole, Spanish and the Bahamian dialect which I found rather interesting.

Sonia's Jerk is a waterfront restaurant that specializes in authentic Jamaican jerk cuisine. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes such as jerk chicken, pork ribs, and oxtail, all freshly grilled with a flavorful spice mix. Visitors praise Sonia's warm hospitality and cooking skills, with some even receiving tips on creating the perfect marinade. Guests also appreciate the generous portions and flavorful sides like rice and peas, stewed cabbage, and mac 'n' cheese.
Every 5* review you're reading is correct. Sonia's food isn't just cooked and seasoned to perfection - it's coated with the love and passion which she has built her business on and this shows. Sonia is not your average host and chef! Sonia has been cooking here for 20 years and there is a reason she is still here! She's also a bit mad which adds to the vibe! We had the chicken curry (incredible) and the jerk ribs which were straight off the smoker. Incredible flavours. We had a taster of the oxtail soup which I'll be having tomorrow at my next visit. Amazing food which isn't laced with sugar. Proper rice and peas & UNBELIEVABLE pepper sauce! If you're in the area - you're mad not to try it. Love this place
Raj M — Google review
WOW! We were blown away by how tender, meaty, and crispy the jerk ribs and jerk chicken were. Exceeded all expectations, and we ate everything clean to the bone. The portion sizes were very generous, and with the sides of rice & peas and cassava & bun we were happily stuffed. The view and vibes of the beach was amazing, would recommend you stop by!
Yvonne S — Google review
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Sonia’s Cafe served hands-down the best oxtail and jerk chicken we ever had and I’ve had a lot. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. The cabbage was so good I found myself low-key guarding it from my own family. What makes this place even more special is Sonia herself. When we came back before our flight home (because yes, it was that good), she was so warm, kind and accommodating. It felt more like visiting family than dining out. This place is a true gem — full of heart, flavor, and soul. Don’t walk, run to Sonia’s Cafe. You’ll dream about it long after you’ve left!
Dan G — Google review
We went to Sonia’s two days, it was her and I believe her son both days, they were very nice, we had the jerk chicken one day and the ribs the next day, it was sooo good! We both highly recommended, the meat is straight off the smoker and the mac and cheese was smoked too, home made sauces! It’s like a 10min walk from Margaritaville and way better food than the touristy spots around here. And the portions sizes are big, we didn’t finish our meals either day and we were hungry.
Andrew C — Google review
The kindest people and the best food I’ve had in Nassau. Properly done, jerk chicken rice and beans , good sauce. I wish you the best of happiness .

Sonia’s Jerk served the best oxtail and jerk chicken I’ve ever had. The oxtails were flavorful, tender, and very fresh. It also came with extra juice, and the sides were to die for. Ms.Sonia was also a delight to meet. She was kind, inviting, and knew how to make you feel right at home. It truly doesn’t get better than Sonia’s Jerk. Truly a 100/10.

This place is so good I went back 3 times! First time, I ordered their jerk chicken and ribs with peas n' rice - all very good and flavorful. Portions were also very good for the price. I really liked their spicy sauce with the ribs. The second time I went there, I ordered their steamed Oxtail and it was delicious! It was some of the best I've had on the Island - off-the-bone tenderness and full of flavor. The third time, I ordered more ribs, but it was later in the night and she was so generous to give me extra ribs and chicken, free of charge! I will definitely be back to try out her Oxtail stew!!!
Doogie 6 — Google review
Authentic! Family Business! Delicious! What more could you ask. We walked from our hotel at Margaritaville and brought back a delicious meal of jerk BBQ chicken, pork ribs, and oxtail. The meats fell off the bone tender and packed full of flavor. Beyond the food, the hospitality, kindness, and sense of community makes everyone feel welcome. Stay away from the corporate restaurants and enjoy an authentic meal from Sonia.

Bahama Barrels by Graycliff is the Caribbean's first winery, located at the historic Graycliff Hotel in Nassau. The winery offers a vibrant and paradisiacal atmosphere with colorful decor and Instagram-worthy spots like hanging swings and group gliders. Visitors can also enjoy a wine blending class led by an experienced California winemaker, where they learn about wine components and get to create their own unique vintage.
The red wine was so good. I love me a good sweet wine. I wanted to purchase, but I knew I wasn't going to have room. FYI, they do not deliver, so if you want it, you would need to purchase while you're there. Next time, I will definitely purchase.

I booked this excursion through Vacations to Go as something to do while in port on a Celebrity cruise in early October, 2025. It just so happened that my sister and I were the only ones doing the class which made it a lot of fun. Joshua answered all of our questions, made us laugh a lot, and just made it a very memorable experience for us. I highly recommend this fun experience where you can taste local wine and then make your own blend using even more of the wine (had to taste a lot to get it right, lol). My sister was having a great time, getting her blend just right. Definitely a memorable experience to celebrate our birthdays.

Came here on an island tour excursion through Celebrity Cruise Line. The place is right off of the colorful umbrella street and the parking situation is quite a mess due to only street parking. Inside is a tiny tasting room and a larger wine shop. We got to do 6 tastings for $5 USD. The cups are the little disposable communion cups. We got to sample a blue colored wine as well as your standard wines and then a local fruit wine. Of all the places in the world where I've had wine, I've never had wine that tasted almost of water before. The only wine that was any good was the specialty fruit wine, but it was nearly $30 USD for a single bottle. Overall, while the guy pouring wine was personable and nice, unfortunately most of the wine was hands down the worst wines I've ever had. Visited: November 2024

I booked a wine making class, it was worth the money. We enjoy every minute of it. The host was very courteous and professional. We also got to make our own wine, cork it and label it. We got to take home two wine bottles that we made plus got to try alot of wine. Left there buzzed. Definitely will be back and bringing more people. You should definitely try this once in your lifetime!

Took my mom to the wine blending class that they offerred for her birthday. We booked through their website and added on fruit and charcuterie plates. Once we got there, they were cleaning out the area where the class normally takes place so we were put in this makeshift room that was kind of cramped and hot. They chose the wines for us to blend and make our own. That part was nice, however we never received our fruit and charcuterie plates, and by the time we mentioned it to them, we were almost done with the class and asked for it to go. We were made to wait way longer than we expected for it, and once we got it, it was very lack luster. We had to transfer it to paper plates, because they didnt have any to go containers and wrap it with plastic wrap. We had to ask for a bag several times until they were able to get one for us. Ive seen in other reviews that it included cheese and crackers. We didnt get any of that, just very hard to chew bread and the meats and fruits. I didnt think it was worth it at that point, especially since it was supposed to be eaten while you were tasting/mixing the wine. Overall very disorganized. Wish they wouldve prefaced on the website or on google that they were having issues with the main room where the class is supposed to take place.
Chela O — Google review
I participated in the “Wine Maker for a Day” class and it was a lot of fun! Eleecye explained everything thoroughly and was very knowledgeable about wine. The charcuterie add-on was a nice accompaniment to the wine (and definitely large enough to share) and turned the experience into lunch as well as the class. I chose to make a red blend and am looking forward to opening my bottle for a special occasion.

Yum, definitely delicious chocolates. Pricey but well worth it. On a cruise, out walking the city, so just purchased enough for all of us to sample. Too hot to purchase anymore as on a long walk.

I had a tour of this place and it cost $60.The tour was very short, but it included an interactive part, so we were able to make our own chocolate. The chocolates are very expensive and there are a lot of options. They are good gifts for family and they put ribbon on the cute boxes the chocolates come in. They also give small samples of chocolate chips. Outside of the shop, there is a bunch of seating and tables for people to sit at.

Stopped through here as one of our RC cruise excursion stops. They gave our chocolate samples and we ended up purchasing a bag of butter pecan rum coffee. We've gone through the entire bag, so rich and delicious. Love the flavor of this coffee. Was hoping to get a slice of pizza but they didn't have much ready and available. Place was busy but nice to stop through. They have some gifts for purchase in the store as well

We did a small tour without making chocolate. We received 3 spoonful chocolate, 2 pcs of chocolate and history of chocolate and get to see their chocolate making area. Small but we are satisfy. We get to meet and dance with the band out front. What a great experience.
Varee R — Google review
I believe this area is best visited in the evening. It features restaurants, wineries, and a fantastic Cigar store. The Gray Cliff Chocolatier, which offers some of the best chocolates around is the main attraction. Maria particularly enjoyed the variety of chocolates available there, as well as their exquisite craftsmanship. The flavors are unique—some are infused with rum, cherries, pineapples, and other ingredients that are not typically found in the U.S. If you are visiting during a busy time, be prepared to compete with other visitors. However, if you prefer a leisurely experience, we recommend waiting until the crowds disperse, as this location is not particularly large. It can accommodate around 20 to 25 people at a time inside the chocolaterie. In addition to chocolates, there are other amenities to enjoy, such as a pizzeria that sells a variety of sauces, including spicy options, and jewelry. You can also find local rum from a nearby distillery, making it a perfect stop for cruise passengers who only have time for one visit. If you are staying in the area, though, you’ll have more opportunities to explore at your own pace.

Chocolatier factory was near to see. They have several items to choose from as soon as you walk in from Jams, Preserves, Jelly’s, Lotions, you name it, they had all flavors and seats to purchase. You can choose to get you a “Chocoltini” (non alcoholic version) but it looked amazing. Once you complete that or other items you may choose. You can speak with the cashier and have a tour of how the chocolate is made or you can pay $60 for a chocolate making class to which you will get to taste the chocolate and make your own chocolate bar to take home.

We always started our evening with a drink at Moon Bar. There were some inconsistencies with the service—particularly on one of the evenings we visited, which was frustrating to say the least. One evening, we were charged a lower price because we didn’t initially get a can of Red Bull. When we tried to order it again, the server was rude—blaming the new girl—and brought a manager. Ultimately, they decided not to charge us the amount we paid earlier but something higher and wasn’t given the red bull. Overall, the service needs improvement, especially from management, to ensure a more consistent and pleasant experience.

Santanna's Bar & Grill is a beachside eatery known for its delectable seafood, including the must-try deep-fried lobster. In addition to an array of seafood dishes, they also offer chicken and barbecue ribs. The restaurant boasts a stunning view by the beach, where diners can occasionally spot sharks in the water. While some patrons rave about the delicious food and quick service, others note that prices are slightly higher compared to other dining spots on the island.
The absolute best Pina Colada on the island. Also the food was delicious. The ladies there were great people and they were always friendly. It was so good we visited three times on our stay and made it our last meal on the island. Go see them at Santanas.

This was a beautiful place, with great service and fantastic drinks. Our food was good, we really wish they had a kids menu or something a bit kids friendly. My kids loved the resident cats and played on the beach while we waited.
Jacquelyn W — Google review
It had been about 10 years since our last visit to Santana’s—and we’re happy to report it’s still as memorable as ever. This authentic, family-run Bahamian spot continues to deliver that warm, local charm it’s known for. We stopped by after a beach day at Tropic of Cancer and arrived around 3 PM—right when it was slammed. It took a little while to get drinks, so we quickly decided to put in our full order to avoid a long wait with hungry kids in tow. Pro tip: timing matters here, so plan accordingly if you’re visiting during peak hours. Food-wise, the grouper stole the show—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The BBQ and jerk chicken were generous portions; the jerk was a bit on the dry side, but still tasty. The ribs were solid, but the real surprise? The rice and peas—hands down the best we had anywhere on the island. A special highlight was seeing the original owner, who we met on our first visit years ago. It was great to learn she’s passed the torch to her daughter, keeping the family legacy alive. Santana’s remains a true island staple—rustic, welcoming, and worth a stop on any Exuma itinerary.

The setting is a rustic patio just on top of a tropical beach with sand and ocean colors hard to forget. The menu is simple but the food is fresh and well prepared, no fuzz and lot of value for your money. We had the broiled lobster and shrimp and they were both delicious, maybe I would have wanted more choices for the lobster dressing.. but again, no fuzz right? :) The service is friendly, helpful and would want me to come back. All in all great experience, you can't go wrong with this restaurant!

A great location. Right on the ocean with a beach just down the way. The food was good however unfortunately they ran out of fish when we were there. The BBQ chicken and Jerk chicken were good. Definitely would stop back again and love the location and service.
David H — Google review
We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food. The server, Leanadia, was very misleading. Two of my kids ordered Alfredo pasta, and she casually asked, “Chicken or shrimp?”—without mentioning that chicken was an additional $12 and shrimp was $15 extra. We only realized this when we got the bill. Each pasta ended up costing $42 and $45, which is outrageously overpriced—especially considering how underwhelming it tasted. One of my daughters said it tasted like microwave food. I did enjoy the grouper, and my husband liked the jerk chicken, but overall, this was the least flavorful meal we’ve had during our entire week in the Bahamas. We chose this place based on good reviews, but honestly, the food didn’t live up to the hype or the prices. As for the service, Leanadia had a cold and sarcastic attitude. Any time we asked a question, she responded with a smart remark. We were a party of 8, and I’m not sure if the 20% gratuity was automatically added due to our group size, but if so, her $72 tip was not earned. The only positive was that she warned us about sharks in the water while my daughter and I were swimming—so for that, I’m genuinely grateful.

The place has a nice atmosphere. Our waitress was nice and helpful. I had lobster and it was delicious and big ! My husband had barbecue 🍖 ribs. The Bahama mama drink was good but it is really strong ! I mean the alcohol. It has like 4 different rum. The place was crowded, a lot of people. Sadly we did not find a table outside so we had to sit inside. The food was ready about 45 minutes after we ordered it. Something disappointing was my husband bought 5 shirts $25,00 each one but the woman wanted to charge an extra % for not reason.

Delicious. Some of the best good and view on the island 🏝. We ordered Crack chicken, which is similar to chicken strips, but different. Served with coleslaw, corn and rice. All very hood. We also had the lobster burger with fries, lemonade and pork ribs. So good! The pork ribs were unique from anything I've had in the States. It all was. Gorgeous view, right on the water. Staff was friendly as well, service and good was quick. Price was moderate. We will return. It was very south in Little Exuma

The Chat 'N' Chill® Beach Bar & Grill is a great place to enjoy drinks and good food with friends. The atmosphere is lively and friendly, and the bartenders are quick to mix up delicious cocktails. There's also a large selection of beers, wines, and spirits available. Sundays are especially popular here, as it's the day that they roast a pig!
Good food for a small bar on a small island across the channel from Great Exuma. You'll need a boat ride to get there. Stocking Island is beautiful and peaceful. The beach right by the bar is unbelievably beautiful. We rented an umbrella and chairs and was set up right by the clear water. When we got hungry, we walked a few steps to the bar/grill and ordered food. Sure, it took a while to get our food but we were on island time like the locals. The food was good and hot. We enjoyed our day trip to the island.

Chat ‘N’ Chill is a must-visit when you’re in Exuma. It offers the perfect laid-back island vibe that invites you to slow down and stay awhile. Whether you plan to hang out for a few hours or spend the whole day, it’s easy to relax here—wade in the shallow, crystal-clear waters with a drink in hand or take a walk and explore the area. The food is solid—not over-the-top amazing, but definitely satisfying. The fresh conch, made to order, is a highlight and the prices are very reasonable. If you’re visiting with kids, there’s plenty to keep them entertained like beach volleyball and cornhole. I’d recommend bringing a football or some snorkel gear to give them more to do. Need to unwind even more? There’s usually someone offering massages right on the beach. One heads-up: bring cash. Their credit card machine wasn’t working during our visit. And I understand coolers are highly discouraged. All in all, another great experience at Chat ‘N’ Chill. Highly recommend if you’re looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy a true island atmosphere.

If your in Exuma and are renting a boat or are willing to take a water taxi over from the mainland I recommend coming to chat and chill , the atmosphere is awesome , everyone talking to everyone , sharing experiences and recommendations, the food was ok , wouldn’t expect much , we rented a boat so we stopped here for dinner , feeding the sting rays is awesome , there is a small gift shop as well you can take a look at , I believe Sundays they have a pig roast I would imagine it gets busier then

depending on the weather and when you go, this should be a place to check out. Weather strolling through or staying for a minute, Chat 'n' Chill is the spot to meet people and have a great time out in the islands.

Mike runs a very fun bar. The service and guest engagement is what will keep me coming back. The best Macaroni & bbq ribs.

This is our second time coming to Chat N Chill. Such a fun and family friendly atmosphere. Grab a rental boat or a water taxi and head out! Even if they aren’t “open” for food yet you can relax on the beach, play volleyball, swim with the sting ray, etc My children (ages 8 and 5) had such a fun time on the many hanging swings and overall enjoyed the atmosphere of this beach. If you come to the Bahamas you have to check this spot out.

Chat 'N' Chill on Stocking Island is the epitome of island paradise! From the moment we docked our boat on the pristine beach, we knew we were in for something special. The laid-back, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home, and the breathtaking views of the turquoise waters are absolutely mesmerizing. The beach bar and grill is fantastic—nothing beats the fresh conch salad, made right in front of you with the freshest ingredients. The BBQ is mouthwatering, and the drinks are cold and refreshing—perfect for a day of relaxation in the sun. The vibe here is unmatched, with live music, friendly locals, and fellow travelers all coming together to enjoy the best of island life. One of the highlights was getting to feed and swim with the friendly stingrays that glide gracefully in the shallow waters right off the beach. It was an unforgettable experience that added a unique touch to our visit. The staff at Chat 'N' Chill are super friendly and make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time on the island. Whether you're lounging in a hammock, playing a game of volleyball, or just soaking up the sun, you'll feel like you're living the dream. If you're in the Exumas, a visit to Chat 'N' Chill is an absolute must. It's the perfect spot to unwind, make new friends, and soak in the beauty of the Bahamas. I can't wait to come back! Highly recommended!

We read you have to try Chat N Chill if you go to Exuma, and we can confirm this is absolutely true. So thankful we went! Great family friendly place with great drinks and food. Our kids loved feeding the stingrays. Freshest conch salad ever. They literally pluck the conch out of the water and harvest it in front of you!

Tippy's Restaurant and Beachside Bar is a palapa-style bar that hugs an ivory-white beach on the east coast of Eleuthera. The restaurant offers a variety of drinks like Tippys sunshine punch, and the food is good too - family members say it's the best burger they've ever had. The staff are helpful and friendly, but be prepared to pay for it - it's not cheap!
This is a solid choice in govenor's harbour with a view of the water. The process of getting a table when busy is a bit of a cluster and if making a reservation you need to reach out to them at least 24 hours ahead. But great staff, great food. Quality was higher than I expected. My fish was dill mahi and the conch fritters are very nice as well with the dipping sauce. Highly recommended!

Oh wow! This place is awesome! The view of the Atlantic Ocean is gorgeous, take a walk out on the beach after your meal. Free Parking is across the street. The food and service was awesome. We had the conch fritters, Green salad with beets, and pizza with pulled pork, pineapple and peppers. Yummy! Portions are large. We shared everything And still had four pieces of pizza that we took to go. And then we enjoyed the beach 💙

Tippy’s Restaurant on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas is an unforgettable dining experience that combines incredible food, stunning views, and top-notch service. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful beachfront location. The sound of the waves, the ocean breeze, and the laid-back island vibe set the perfect scene for a relaxing meal. The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was full of fresh, bold flavors and clearly made with care. Whether you're in the mood for seafood, pasta, or something tropical and unique, Tippy’s delivers. Each plate looked just as good as it tasted. The tropical drinks were also a highlight — refreshing, delicious, and made just right for enjoying in paradise. Our server, Mackinson Jules, made the experience even better. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive without being overbearing. He had great recommendations and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. His warm personality added a personal touch that made us feel truly welcomed. Tippy’s is more than just a restaurant — it’s a destination. If you’re in Eleuthera, make sure to stop here for amazing food, breathtaking views, and unforgettable hospitality. You won’t be disappointed!

Really had a great time had Tippys. It’s one of my go to spots whenever I visit Eleuthera, whether with my friends or family. I’ve been there for lunch and dinner and at both times the food and service were great. Would highly recommend.

Had dinner at Tippy’s a few times during our visit to the island. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Cracked lobster and fries was very delicious, this is my favorite meal. My friend that was with me had fish tacos , spinach fish dip and really enjoyed it. View was fantastic. Loved this little place on the beach! Would definitely recommend anyone going, you won’t be disappointed.

We read other reviews and planned on slow service and a long wait for food, but that wasn't the case at all - it was completely reasonable! Be prepared to be swarmed by flies as you try to eat - the restaurant does try to combat this with lit sternos, but it seemed like they have no impact if you get a seafood entry. My son ordered a pizza and only had one or 2 flies bothering him, but another person in our party ordered Mahi Mahi and was swarmed! It was a nice atmosphere, made for good pics with the beach in the background.
Sarah B — Google review
We waited quite a bit for the server to bring a canned soda and bottled water. Once our appetizer arrived, we realized we didn't have napkins & and silverware, so we grabbed them from an unoccupied table because the server took a long time to return. A family near us received their appetizer and waited almost 10 minutes before they received napkins & silverware. The service is very slow at this restaurant which I can understand, it got very crowded after we arrived and I believe there were maybe 3 servers working. Two cheeseburgers were ordered with fries and conch fritters. Absolutely the best conch fritters I've had in so long. One of the burgers was incorrect. The burgers did not taste homemade and had no flavor whatsoever. The 2nd burger was burnt as well as the bun. Our fries were not hot. My husband ate at this place years ago and thought we could enjoy our lunch, but that wasn't the case. This was the worst lunch ever. They should remove burgers from the menu. Obviously, it's too complicated for the chef. The atmosphere is amazing, which I found to be the best thing going for this restaurant.
Sam C — Google review
Great food and atmosphere. Sometimes service can be island speed, though that should be expected. Parking lot is easy to find right across the street. Conch fritters are bigger than most I had at other locations around Bahamas. I thought they were very good especially in the calypso sauce. Pina colada is tasty though not sure if it contained rum. Grouper with mango chutney was a good option. Good spice and sweet balance. Creole snapper was much more spicy. Out of the dessert options we chose to try the key lime pie. I would rate it as average.

Seafood restaurant
Shirley's Seafood Restaurant in Exuma comes highly recommended by locals for its excellent food and superb service. The menu features authentic Bahamian cuisine, including conch fritters, coconut shrimp, sautéed shrimp with peas and rice, coleslaw, and sweet plantains. The restaurant is known for its delicious drinks and flavorful dishes like coconut grouper, seafood bowl, curry conch, and stuffed grouper.
We had a great time at Shirley’s. It’s a laidback place with a relaxed atmosphere, good food, and friendly service. The conch fritters were the highlight—so good that I had to order another round! The seafood mac and cheese was also delicious. My lobster tail was a little on the dry side, but the flavors were still nice. For dessert, I tried the guava pie, which was more of a cheesecake with guava syrup on top—not what I expected! There is no outside seating looking over the water. Overall, a solid spot worth checking out!
Alyona R — Google review
We went to Shirley’s twice on our visit to Exuma. The first time was at about 4:30 and we were offered the lunch and dinner menu. We tried the conch fingers, seafood Po’Boy and the fried snapper. All were amazing and made even better because of our awesome server, “G”. It was a fabulous experience, so good that we went back the next evening which was a Sunday and we had read that a lot of places were closed. This time we had the dinner menu and a different server. This meal we had the conch fritters, fried grouper and lobster Mac and cheese, and the conch curry as well as the guava pie. This meal was very disappointing all the way around. I also tried the goombay punch the Shirley’s Breeze? Cocktail, both of which were overrated in my opinion. They have a huge pile of conch shells out back and G said we could go out there and pick them up for free if we wanted. So long story short, go for lunch and make sure you ask for G to be your server.

My wife and I visited Shirley’s several times on the island, it was one place we knew were open pass 6pm , with not a lot of options around on the island , we were glad we were close by the restaurant, very limited menu , they were out of a few things on our visits , but the food was very good , our servers were very kind , the atmosphere was awesome you could tell those who visit the island often were welcome like family , we always love to eat at local places because of this , and Shirley’s was recommended by a local as really the only local food around , highly recommended.
Gabriel D — Google review
We found Shirley’s after a long day of travel and it was one of the few places still open. Tia was our waitress and she was very attentive and kind. The food was wonderful, though there are not a lot of menu options. Everything we ordered was very good. The conch chowder and conch fritters were some of our favorite items. Tia and G shared with us all the things we should see on the island and even told us about a summer festival going on that we went to after dinner. They were so welcoming and a delight to talk to. If you’re looking for a place to eat, Shirley’s is a great option!

We went to Shirley's and would recommend going there. The service can be hit or miss -- the lady who waited on us a tad bossy and upon placing our order Kalik Light and they didn't have it so they came back and offered us an alternative option and then never returned with it. After 20 minutes we asked the waitress about the drink and she replied "you still haven't gotten it?" and was rude. We ordered the bahama mama and it was very refreshing and exactly as anticipated. For the main course we had coconut grouper which was FANTASTIC and the bests preparation of grouper we had on the island. It was fresh, cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor. We also had seafood mac which was supposed to have lobster, conch, grouper and other fresh fish. The conch was rather tough and the seafood mac left a bit to be desired. Overall, the prices were fair for the island and by far the BEST grouper we had of the whole trip! That is the best menu item to order.
Ronda S — Google review
Just go. It's good. The only con is you can get unlucky and wait a while for a table. The food is perfect, the servers are amazing! We had the lobster and the coconut grouper, the grilled lobster was yummy but the coconut grouper is an easy repeat every single time. The prices are more than reasonable compared to other restaurants on the island. The rice was the only underwhelming part but that's only because I am nit-picking. Don't walk, run!

Definitely 5/5 🙌 cool place as you can see on the video! Not crowded at all. They don’t have veggie options in the menu but can prepare for you vegetables stir fry 🤩🤩🤩 cool! Enormously tasty 🤤 jerk stir fry also very testy and portions are quite big - for hungry people 😎 worth coming one more time 60 dollars 💵 We’ve been there two times in the end as it is very good! 👌 chicken Wings also tasty

Let’s talk about Tropic Breeze—this spot brings a touch of elevated Caribbean flair to Little Exuma. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and seated right away. Drinks came out quickly, and while the server did mention they were out of a few popular dishes (a bit of a letdown), what we did order more than made up for it. We started with the lobster poppers—and wow. Perfectly cooked lobster, lightly battered and served with a tartar-style sauce. I easily could’ve devoured two orders! For mains, we tried the Seafood Platter, Seafood Nachos, and the Ranch Chicken Burger. My husband and youngest shared the seafood platter and cleaned their plates—everything was fresh, lightly tempura-fried, and not overly breaded. A total hit. The seafood nachos, unfortunately, didn’t live up to the rest. While they were loaded with seafood, the freshness wasn’t quite on par with the platter, and the cheese blend just didn’t complement the dish. The Ranch Chicken Burger, though? Total flavor bomb. Perfectly cooked and seasoned—easily a standout. If you’re looking for a more refined Caribbean meal with great service and a chill vibe, Tropic Breeze is absolutely worth a stop. You won’t leave disappointed.

Read my full review for a warning even though I’m giving them a positive review. First off, the food is fantastic. Fresh seafood and very flavorful dishes. The view of the ocean was beautiful and our server was so nice. So here comes the warning. There is a 15% service charge plus a 10% government tax and that’s before gratuity. The service fee is not gratuity. Add 15-20% for gratuity and your meal ends up with nearly 50% in taxes. Our lunch for family of 5 was $300 which is pretty outrageous. I realize we are in the Bahamas but this is really dishonest.
Mike M — Google review
Beautiful location (like everywhere on the island really), serving a small focused menu which leads to quality results. When the chef brings out the dish you know they are proud of what they serve. The lobster poppers and jerk stir fry were a big hit in our group, but the surf and turf burger was phenomenal! I've been all over the world and this is one of the best burgers. And if you are lucky, you will be waited on by the beautiful and sweet Shaunda (sp?).

We’re a family from Denmark and arrived just 15 minutes before closing time. The staff were incredibly kind and quickly prepared our food so we could still enjoy a meal. It was the best food we had on the island — even compared to two different resorts! We were so grateful to finally have a real, homemade dish with rice, chicken, and vegetables, especially after days of burgers and fries. Thank you for the delicious meal and warm hospitality!

I am blown away at how delicious everything was. It has been a struggle to find vegan friendly food options on the island for myself and my daughter. We talked with the chef and he was able to assure us that the peas and rice were vegan friendly. Also, he said that the fries and plantains were fried in a separate fryer than the seafood items. Everything was sooooo good 🙌🏽 The peas and rice were so flavorful, that I ended up ordering one to go. I am definitely going to come back every time we visit the island. The chef and waitress were so friendly as well. 10/10 experience!!!

Located in Governor's Harbour, the Buccaneer Club is a popular restaurant known for its authentic Bahamian cuisine and charming outdoor patio. Set in a mid-19th-century farmhouse, this eatery offers quick and friendly service, accompanied by lively Caribbean music and vibrant artwork. The outdoor patio is shaded by beautiful flowering trees and surrounded by a garden of bougainvillea, hibiscus, and coconut palms. Additionally, visitors can explore an on-site boutique offering island-inspired clothing and jewelry.
Reservations highly recommended to get an inside table. Friendly staff that worked together to make the night. Greek salad with Grouper fingers very good and fresh. Conch fritters were served hot with a good dipping sauce. Sweet and sour shrimp with sweet potato fries was very good. Key lime pie and chocolate cake for dessert finished off a great dinning experience.

We had a great dinner here. We loved the outdoor deck and great service. We ordered the grilled grouper dinner which was good and the island curry which was simply amazing and a must order. It was not spicy and very flavorful - perhaps the best curry I have had. Our favorite restaurant in Governor’s Harbour.

Food is okay. The band is great. They have candles to keep away the flies and the paper napkins that our waiter set on our table caught on fire. I grabbed the napkins and threw them on the concrete walkway behind me as the whole dining area is on a wooden deck. My shoe caught on fire in the chaos and the waiter came over with a bucket of water to put out the fire. Not once did anyone come and check on us. My mom had to hunt down the owner who said she “didn’t see it” which is funny because she had been sitting on her laptop inside of the restaurant with its doors wide open a couple of yards away from the scene. The rest of the restaurant saw it and the band stopped playing because of the commotion. Some of the burned napkins were left on our table and we had to ask for them to be cleaned up. Just unacceptable customer service. We aren’t needy people but our table was on fire and nobody even asked if we were okay.

After a long day at the beach and sightseeing ended at Governor’s Harbor to eat at the Buccaneer Club. Excellent service as waiter explained the food and gave us time to decide. He came to ask to take order to put in before a big group. Food came out timely and ahead of other table. Learned something new, fly repellent by using stereo and pepper. Flies disappeared at the smell of pepper. Atmosphere was great sitting out side in rustic wood tables. Food was good and large servings. If in the area a good spot to eat in Eleuthera. Next to ice cream shop

Buccaneer Club is a great place to get a meal whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. We went multiple times as it's the most consistently open restaurant in the Governors Harbour area. The Johnson sisters run a tight ship and it was fun talking with them. The deck is huge with great shade trees and there is a bar and smaller "indoor" dining room. Food is awesome especially the seafood and traditional island dishes. Really can't go wrong. All the meals we had there were great and the cocktails are also delicious. Parking right out front otherwise the walk is not far from the strip mall along the main road. Definitely go here for good food and drink and great service.

Nice outside patio restaurant. Some nights have live music. Menus have a good few options. The island curry was really delicious. They need to start making that curry sauce as an option with the fries. When there was a small issue they fixed it straight away and gave us a free drink (not needed but they were super kind). Staff were friendly. Lovely vibe with the music. Highly recommend their curries.

Beautiful atmosphere to enjoy lunch. The flies are an issue as well as the cat that sits beneath the table. The cracked conch, fried chicken, mac & cheese, and buccaneer punch are definitely worth ordering, they are delicious. The pikliz is mild which was disappointing as I was hoping it would be spicy. The rice & peas were barely warm as if it had been sitting for some time.

Had a fantastic dinner today. My friend having the special of today, the grouper and myself the creamy lobster pasta. Both cooked to perfection. Beautiful sunset view and great service. Unfortunately, there was also life music. why is the life music always soo loud that you cannot talk anymore without raising your voice? during the break of the musician, the music is background music, as it suppose to be! when the life musician starts again, it is just too much. therefore, no dessert and no after drink. wanted to leave asap. Cannot believe the managers do not notice the level of noise.

Great food, service, atmosphere. We ordered the chicken Alfredo and the eleutheran pizza. Both were fantastic - in face one of the best dishes we had on island. The staff is also very courteous and accommodated our asks. Definitely recommend this place, please do reservations. The Eleutheran pizza in particular was loaded. Great cheese on it, which melts in mouth and leaves a lasting taste. Very fulfilling for 2 folks as well Note - the price is also premium, but typically a view follows that.

Staff is very friendly, amazing location, great bar, the beer is cold and beverage prices are fair. However, the food is a real challenge and by far under par for the price paid. The ‘grilled’ seafood platter that should contain fish, shrimp, lobster is an unidentifiable steamed arrangement of chewy overcooked stuff and the pasta tastes like canned food. As a side note there is mold on salt dispensers. A pity for the nice location; the chef needs desperate training or to be changed.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming, they even provided bug spray. Pros: beautiful scene and delicious food. Cons: lots of bugs and long wait for the service. If you come here don’t be in a rush but I would come back if I were to visit again.

We were struggling to choose a place for dinner our last night in the Bahamas (everything has such mixed reviews) and landed here. So glad we did! The food was yummy and Aaron at the bar was such a great host. He made us delicious and generous drinks including one of his own creation, the Aaron Special. The dining room is bright and colorful with an outdoor patio and tables in the sand as it sits on a beautiful little beach. Attached photo is the view from our table. Prices are on the higher end but I feel it was worth it for the quality, portions, and the great service. (Bonus: they had NFL on the TV at the bar) Will definitely come again! 🌊🐚🍹

Splash Beach Bar is a lively spot with a great atmosphere and amazing drinks. While the food received mixed reviews, the grilled mahi mahi was particularly delicious. The signature splash drink is highly recommended. The bar features pool tables and quirky bar sayings adorning the walls. Service can be slow but is in line with the island's pace. Seafood pizza and breakfast options are standout choices, while Italian dishes may not impress as much.
It's my favorite restaurant on the island. Highly recommend the chicken wings and pizza. I get their sweet potato fries with every meal. Typical island prices. Views from their covered dining area is perfect.

Overall just average experience. Lunch time visit on a Saturday. Out of Nachos. Out of Taco Cups. Can’t imagine the limited dinner menu as the day goes on. Service was definitely nothing to hang your hat on. Ended up with the Buffalo chix pizza and a BBQ pizza. Onion rings.

Only vegetarian option was cheese pizza and grilled vegetables. But the vegetables were obviously boiled. Nothing fancy, bar food and a hearty bar atmosphere. I went for dinner, it was a quiet night. I bet this place is a great party location!

Food was good. Other reviews mentioning that the service is very slow are completely true. It is a nice place to hang out but make sure you have plenty of time to wait to get menus, food or drinks.

Like an American pub but with a view! You can find burgers, wings and local food as well. Drinks are cheaper than the rest of the island. Food was good and service was friendly and fast.

It might be good at dinnertime, but I would never go there for breakfast again, even if it was complimentary. The service is really poor. It’s only open from 8:00–9:45, but even though there were only six persons in total during this time, it took around 40 minutes to get two eggs and one bagel. It felt like we are kinda disturbing the woman during this time, because she needed to work a little. The food is nothing special, it doesn't taste good, and what you get is actually a joke. For example, the fruit bowl was just an orange, nothing else. The local looks good though, but that’s about it. Yeah, it's just a short walk to somewhere else to eat, or there's a good supermarket with good stuff only a few hundred metres away. Pick anything else I would say.

I was in Exuma for a week. I had used this place years ago for drinks, but this time, I was staying just over the road from here, so I used this place for dinner, breakfast, and takeaway pizza It was ALL very good, and the staff were great to deal with each time I was here for something to eat. The takeaway pizzas are GREAT. Back in 2024, pizzas are still really nice, and GREAT Thank you.

Bimini Seafood Company & Conch Bar is a waterfront restaurant with an excellent location and a large outdoor deck overlooking the harbor. The place offers clean and well-maintained facilities, including bathrooms downstairs. The menu features delicious seafood options such as conch fritters, lobster, fish, and shrimp dinners. The mashed red potatoes are particularly recommended. To combat flies in the area, chafing dish burners are placed on tables.
This restaurant was the best. The service and food were top-notch. I'm blanking on the young man's name who served us, but he was very patient and helpful. If you go here, you have to try their Bahamas Mamas and Mahi Mahi Fish Fingers!!😋😋 Would definitely eat here again.

Everyone one raves about this place so we went . I got grilled chicken on a salad. The chicken wasn’t cooked all the way and it was on TOP. The salad was not joking half rotten mushy lettuce. When I told the waitress about the chicken she looked annoyed I was even mentioning it. My partners food French dip like with French fries he said was good.

A wonderful place to pull up in your boat and get a delicious meal. A bit pricey, but hey, you're in paradise. The view out over the marina adds to the great atmosphere. It was Taco Tuesday, so we opted for the blackened lobster tacos. They were amazing with a self-administered smear of sour cream, a sprinkle of salsa, and a glob of guacamole, the flavors balanced the heat in the blackened seasoning. A healthy serving of spicy rice and a bit of average slaw rounded out the plate. We washed it all down with Bahama Papa's that were just as impressive. Did I mention it was a bit pricey? It was $165 for 2 of us with 2 drinks each, but I was not sorry. I just don't want anyone to read my review and then get surprised when they get their bill.

We had breakfast, lunch and dinner for about 5 days, so we have a good impression of the place. The food is good and is, together with the atmosphere and the view on the bay, the reason to go here. The drawback is the unpredictable behaviour of the crew. Some are really nice, but most are a bit moody and some are really rude. If they can find something to make and keep the crew motivated, it would be a top place.

This quaint little cafe has wonderful food, all made from scratch including just out of the oven warm, lemon pound cake.... The best coffee in George Town and many delicious meals, humus, lobster roll and more... Definitely, not what you would expect when you walk into this cafe.... It is definitely not to be missed while in George Town.
Michael H — Google review
The service at the cafe was great but the food was terrible. I’m not going to lie I had high hopes because of the reviews I saw prior to but the food was AWFUL! I got a meal that I deemed ‘safe’ to try as a first time customer, but I was wrong. I got grilled chicken and hummus and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was okay, nothing special it’s a cappuccino. The hummus was worth laughing about. Greeted with an entire half of a whole cauliflower, that lacked any form of taste at the center of the plate on the SMALLEST amount of hummus known to man. I’m a fan of cauliflower but this made me re-evaluate my decision of liking it. Hummus needed salt, the pita bread was the only thing tasty about this meal. Spent almost $80 on a meal that was highly disappointing, the place is so beautiful and such a gorgeous view, the staff is friendly and accommodating but the food was so disappointing and the price didn’t make it any better. I would say I’d come again for the coffee and the ambience, but God in heaven knows I will walk straight pass this cafe the next time I visit The Bahamas. Don’t let the reviews fool you, these people have never tasted good cafe food before, and there are PLENTY in The Bahamas.

Went in for breakfast and had a good experience. We had the eggs and the avocado toast. Both were perfect. The side potatoes could have been better - a little softer and more roasted would have made them an excellent addition. The banana bread was pretty good but wouldn't go here for that The inside of the restaurant was a little cold in the morning and we sat outside with zero complaints. The Italian bread was exceptionally good.

Quite elegant place as a part of the resort. You can park nearby, just say you want to go to restaurant. Better to call them upfront and make a reservation because we were told to wait 20 minutes… but there were many empty tables available. When we are sited, service was good 👍 🍔 Spicy chicken sandwich - awesome If you like some crunchy chicken 🐔 as from KFC 🍕 pizza - not recommended. Could be eaten but not tasty at all :/

Great restaurant (open to the public) on the Grand Isle property. It’s poolside, under cover with fans & great service. Looks out over the pool onto the ocean. Gorgeous! Tough to decide what to order with so much looking so good. Decided on the Passion salad w/ shrimp (very good). Would order again. Wife ordered the jerk pork sliders. And a side salad. Also very good. Price info -> $82 for the sliders, side salad m, and my passion salad, plus 2 Club sodas. Well worth the visit. Thinking of coming back tmrw for lunch!!

Coco Beach Bar & Grille is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking the ultimate beachfront dining experience in the Abaco Islands. This casual eatery perfectly captures the essence of island life, offering a delightful menu filled with mouthwatering seafood and refreshing cocktails. Picture yourself lounging on comfortable chairs while enjoying ocean breezes and stunning views of one of the world's most beautiful beaches.
Beautiful beach. The building is whimsically decorated with nautical items and original folk art. One can dine indoors or out. Local items on menu food is good but not great. There is a sand volleyball court and a fun picture spot. The view of Treasure Cay beach makes this place ideal. They have special events and music from time to time- usually advertised on sign near main road.

Ate here on a Wednesday after arriving in Treasure Cay.  This location is great literally right on the beach.  It's walking distance from most of the condos too.  Wednesday night had a good deal for food, $20 kabobs with all you can eat salad and baked potatoes which is a good price in Abaco.  If you eat outside at night put on bug spray before you go because there are vicious mosquitoes and sea flies.  Other nights of the week it's pretty pricey so be prepared but that's everything in Abaco.

When you think of Bahamian cuisine, the Queen Conch is an absolute must-try. This lively open-air restaurant located on Bay Street in Dunmore Town offers a delightful array of conch dishes that showcase this beloved seafood in all its glory. From crispy fried conch to a zesty conch salad—where fresh ingredients like tomatoes and onions are expertly diced and mixed right before your eyes—there's something for everyone.
Lovely spot. Food portion is good size. Blackened fish had a bite but good. Chicken wraps were good size. Ceasar salad dressing is different to USA so not quite the same but good and fresh. Food bill and drink bills are sep and has auto tip added (21%). Food can take a while but it's worth the wait and lovely view.

We had the blackened chicken sandwich, fish sandwich and conch salad. The blackened were good but salad never arrived correctly. When it did it was not the correct version. Overall not the best lunch but experience and I would look for better options.

The food here is great, by far the best dish is the tequila shrimp which is honestly phenomenal. The dolphin dip is always really good as well as the seafood trio which I often order because you get a little bit of everything. The views are nice when sitting outside right on the water. We’ve often had discrepencies on our bill when we were charged an entrée portion when we requested the snack portion. Hopefully these were just coincidences because the food here is great and I will continue to eat there.

It took a while to get service and the kitchen took a longer while. Small portion size and the conch fritters were underwhelming. The grouper was really fresh on the bright side.

Although it's not much to look at from the street, if you want conch salad Queen Conch really is the place. They make the conch salad out front and where you can pick up to go orders and you can call in pre-orders and pick up as well. Then there is the dining room that is in the back with a covered area and the deck the extend out over the water. While we were there, a heron hung out catching fish near the restaurant and you could see the storm rolling in. The regular conch salad was delicious, but the exotic conch salad was amazing. The smoked dolphin (mahi) dip was also quite tasty. Great selection of mixed drinks and non-alcoholic drinks. Service was great. Def recommend!

We loved it. We went on a Friday night. Chill place with good vibe, service and drinks. I got the conch fritters and they were actually conchy and delicious 😌. The burger and ceaser salad was good as well. I told the bartender to hook me up with a drink (I like vodka and a little sweetness) and he delivered 👌. The owner was also really nice/down to earth and his girlfriend as well ❣️. Will be back on my next visit to Abaco.

The prices here are great for overall experience. I recommend trying the fritters, they were really good. My steak was a bit tough (maybe because I got it well done), and I did not really enjoy the virgin mojito… it tasted like club soda with just a hit of lime and mint. It didn’t have much flavor. The server was nice, she was very pleasant and polite. At first I thought she forgot about me because she took a while before coming to take the order and it was a long wait for my fritters but it was a busy night so that was expected. As for the atmosphere, it was great! The only issue I had was someone smoking next to my table. Maybe they can have a smokers section. Besides that I had a great time! There was an entertainer there, who was singing and dancing and he made my night! He was very vibrant and live… I enjoyed the music and didn’t want to leave. Overall, I recommend the atmosphere and experience is good.

Great restaurant located on the East Point of the Island (Spanish Wells). Can gets busy, especially on Sunday when we went last and the wait was an hour! The servers were very good but understaffed which is a shame because they worked their butt off. We did have to send one dish back because it wasn’t prepared properly (Tuna Poke). But don’t hesitate to go - the rest of the food was great and I will be going back again without hesitation.

So the location has great views but the pina colada that people raved about is not worth $18, looks great but even after mixing the floater it’s disappointing missing crème de coco. Also got the Shipwreck $14 which was alright but sweet if you like that. HH isn’t mentioned here either, other places are 5-7pm. Server didn’t seem happy to be there, maybe it was a bad day and end of shift. Posting a current drink menu since what’s posted is very outdated pricing. Our bill after included tip was $41 for 2 drinks. Left elsewhere so didn’t get to try the food.
