(Translated by Google) One of the "guides" who was at the roundabout at the entrance to the beach followed us to the entrance of Parrachos Pria Clube, a place where a very friendly Uber driver had recommended us. He had already warned us not to listen to those people who ride their motorcycles at the roundabout approaching tourists, but...
We arrived at Parrachos around 10:30 am and were informed that their diving tours in Maracajaú had already ended. It was then that the "guide" who followed us sent us to this place that I am now reviewing.
When we arrived there, we were met by a gentleman who informed us that the tide was low. We paid R$120.00 per person and the trouble started when we left on the catamaran. The engine died and would not start at all, until after about 10 minutes. It started and we went to the diving spot, approximately 7 km from the coast.
The tide was very high, about 3 meters deep, and to make matters worse, there was a strong current, which was dangerous for those who don't know how to swim, even with a life jacket. The place is beautiful, but the conditions were not as ideal as we had been told.
On the way back, there was more trouble: the catamaran's engine wouldn't work. We stayed for another 15 minutes. In the middle of nowhere, with no water, no bathroom, literally adrift. When the engine finally worked, we set off, but approximately 400 meters from the coast, the engine stopped again.
We waited for about 20 minutes. And nothing, the engine wouldn't work. No one came to rescue us. My brother even jumped into the water and swam to the beach to ask for help, but the man who sold us the tour said there was nothing he could do.
The "sailors" jumped out of the boat and, using flippers, pushed the boat to the shore. We were adrift the whole time, without water or food. Oh, and by the way, we were told that there would be drinks and even a barbecue! Our innocence, there wasn't even water!
For those going to Maracajaú, a piece of advice: stay away from the guys on motorcycles at the roundabout, don't listen to them, or you'll get into trouble.
Note: after returning to the place, we complained about what had happened, and they refunded us half of the amount we paid, but even so, based on the experience we had, I don't recommend this place.
