We got the Diavolo, perfect spice and full of flavor with the perfect charred crust, and another pizza we couldn’t pronounce — but wow, it was amazing! Not sure what the high praise is about, this isn’t proper Neapolitan pizza, the flour is wrong, too dark it isn’t 00 flour, the pizza is also too thick. Two stars because otherwise the flavour balance is good. They charge €11 when the most excellent places in Naples charge €5 for a Margherita. Then to add insult to injury the piazziolo comes out at the end of the meal demanding 5* reviews and in doing so accidentally spits on your remaining food!

Absolutely outstanding pizza! The dough was incredible — light, airy, and perfectly crisp on the outside. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients; everything felt fresh and carefully chosen. I’ve never had anything quite like it. I ate every bite with pure pleasure!

I wasn't expecting much from this place but was very surprised at how delicious each dish was. The seafood pasta was the best one we had in the area. The portions are huge and filling.

A small restaurant near Pompeii, which is very convenient located. For the location the price is more than reasonable and the pastas are delicious. The dining area is decorated with items and murals of the Napoli hero Maradona, and locals visit here as well as tourists. Delicious fresh pasta off the beaten path in Pompeii. About a 20 minute walk from the train station but well worth the effort. On a day trip from Naples we started our day here and then entered the archaeological park nearby, closing our loop at the exit near the train.

Looks unassuming on the outside but the flavours of the pasta were better than some higher-end restaurants we’ve visited. It can be a bit crampy inside the eatery but that should not be a deterrent given how good the pasta is.

Fantastic Pizzeria in the Heart of Sorrento We had a wonderful experience at Pizzeria da Franco! The food was absolutely delicious – proper wood-fired pizzas and a lovely dessert to end the meal. Even though it was very busy and things took a bit longer, it was completely understandable and worth the wait. Okay... let's define priorities. For me the food and service matter. Francos gave me an incredible thin crust pizza that was crisp and loaded with quality toppings and flavor. It was impressive. Service was mediocre at best and it's a volume based business so I get it. The paper plates and plastic cups and cutlery really just threw me. It didn't make my pizza taste any less amazing but it was just weird and diminished the experience. I'm sure it saves them money vs a dishwasher, etc. BUT... maybe they had to do it because of the giant pizza ovens they have which probably result in their better pizza. I'm guessing those giant ovens hold the heat better and result in that quality pizza. Would I go back there again for an exceptional pizza at a great price... ABSOLUTELY. Will I still whine about the paper plate and plastic cutlery... probably. PS... as per the picture they have charging stations at all the wall booths and free Wifi... which is an added bonus to the pizza.

What we got was not Neapolitan pizza — not even close. The crust, which should be the star of a true Neapolitan pie — puffy, airy, chewy with a bit of char — was flat and uninspired. It lacked the texture and flavor you'd expect from a properly fermented dough cooked in a high-heat oven. The toppings didn’t help either — underwhelming and far from the fresh, balanced simplicity that defines this style. Maybe we caught them on an off night, or maybe our expectations were too grounded in what you'd get just a short drive away in downtown Naples. Either way, this was a huge letdown. Based on this first (and likely only) experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

Ate here twice on our week in sorrento , pizza was fabulous then for a panini the next visit and it was amazing. We sat outside it’s a bit noisy by the road but inside looks class and it’s so busy . I definitely recommend so well priced .

We went here last night and it was absolutely amazing for a date night. The outdoor seating is literally in a garden with fruit trees over your head twinkle lights on the trees and some fantastic food. We had the Rosticceria mista for an appetizer and the seaweed fritters were so good. They were savory and very light and fluffy. The pasta and pizza were great and the Tiramisù was the best we've ever had. The prices were really good especially for a tourist area. This is a great place for small groups of about 4 or especially for a date night!

And let’s not even talk about the bathrooms — filthy, disgusting, and clearly not cleaned all day. No toilet paper, no soap. Honestly, a health inspector’s worst nightmare. Exhausted and hungry after hiking Vesuvius and seeing ruins of Pompei had 10 min to buy tickets and catch the train. The only place open was Pizzeria Jerome, so in a big rush we took two random pizzas/sandwiches to go. They were amazing, warm and delicious. The one with ricotta absolutely great. Probably saved us from a crisis along the journey to Naples in a busy train. The seller was also very kind and enthusiastic so overall 10/10 🫶

The Mcflurries were good, and the Baci Perugina one was lovely (chocolate and hazelnut I believe).

Stayed at an air b and b very close. So came here on the first night, the staff were nice and spoke a little English. The menus given to us had all of the prices scribbled out in black marker which we found a bit odd, but still had some really yummy food. The actual seating area was small and a bit uninviting, with a bit of TLC it would be a really nice place to sit and eat, even just some lamps, plants, decorations or the tables set and not empty. The Pizza Napolitana was mostly just undercooked supermarket tomato sauce with very few olives on top and two basil leafs. In the end it wasn't even cheap because they charge a 2€ service fee per person (for small plastic cups and paper napkins that you'd take to a picnic...), ended up paying 10€ for a single small pizza to share and a 1.5L water bottle. Also the English menu doesn't have the prices listed.

I don't speak any italian, but the chef spoke good english and was kind enough to give me an english menu and help with the order. The price was excellent- €16 for two pizza's and a large bottle of coke.

There is a restaurant downstairs and some tables upstairs. They make their own wine. The pizza is made fresh from scratch.

A life saver....on a day that felt hotter than Hades this bar was shady cool and well serviced. Travelling solo with bar boisterous 7yr old the waiter were polite, understanding and helpful. Came across this place as close to our hotel. Great find with excellent pizzas. Very local feel and the staff were super friendly. Ingredients were fresh and pizza was cooked to perfection. Will highly recommend.

We ended up stumbling up on this place to get out of the rain on our way from the train station to Pompeii. We got the La Doc and it was phenomenal. I haven't had a ton of Italian pizza (yet), but compared to American pizza this was the best pizza I have ever had. I wasn't even that hungry when we got there and I ended up finishing the entire pizza because it was so good. The staff working there spoke only a little English but they were very patient and helpful to us. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Absolutely Fantastic I was on my to go see the pompeii ruins and was feeling quite hungry and bumped into this restaurant and I’m glad I did. Fresh delicious pizza with a nice crisp crust perfectly cooked though out and in just 5 to 6 minutes you can’t go wrong. The staff were very friendly too which added to the whole atmosphere they are quite a small restaurant so it might be difficult to get a table around the touristy year. I know when I ever return to pompeii again I shall be returning to this restaurant again hungry for more.
