We had a short wait, but not bad. Got seated , waiter was great to help with any questions we had about food and menu . Our food came out in a timely manner. My steak was cooked just right . We really enjoyed our meal and visit there.

I had an absolutely fantastic first experience at the restaurant that truly left a lasting impression. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Our waitress, Shelby, went above and beyond—her attentiveness to both my wife and me was flawless, and she Maintained a warm, friendly attitude throughout our visit. The food was simply outstanding. As a Cajun chef myself, I couldn’t resist trying their chicken and sausage jambalaya soup, and it did not disappoint. It was perfectly seasoned, with a vibrant mix of spices, hearty sausage, and fresh vegetables that truly highlighted the dish’s bold flavors. cheeseburger with fries, nachos, and both a non-alcoholic beverage and a craft beer, all of which met my expectations. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment to visitors in Durango. It is worth experiencing, especially given its multiple television screens suitable for watching sporting events. I rate this restaurant a perfect 10 out of 10.

Pretty busy for a Wednesday. But my bacon burger had no bacon...and the artichoke dip was overcooked. Our server was excellent. The 2 beers I tasted were awesome...

The pizza and burger were excellent. We added some extras to the pizza. Didn’t try the beer but I heard it was good. Sweet tea was amazing. Would love to go back .

Massive portions, delicious food and beer. We frequently stop here when we're spending a night in Durango, because the service is excellent and the quality is dependable. Always get on the wait list before coming down, because it's always busy.

Don’t like leaving bad reviews, but spending $70 for mediocre food makes it hard not to. Got the turkey bacon sandwich, eh. Not horrible but I could have gotten a better sandwich at subway for much cheaper. We also ordered a pizza, crust was burnt black, and hard; and overall just kind of tasted like cardboard. DiGiorno is better. Still ate it because I was hungry, but overall very disappointed. The spinach and artichoke dip was really good though, and so were the fries (so extra star for them).

Excellent burger and fries! More than I could eat and I don't leave food too often. The salad was large enough that two people shared it. The outdoor seating was nice and shady, and they allowed dogs. Enjoy and follow me!

My family enjoyed Carvers. Good cold beer, great appetizer, fresh hot dinner. Pizza was great and much lighter than expected. Not heavy and greasy. Guacamole and salsa were good. Service was fast and friendly. Would return again. My wife said it was the best burger she had in a while.

When in Durango we stopped to get dinner here one evening and boy we were impressed. There’s plenty seating indoors and outdoor. Their ginger beer is so delicious. We got the takanka burger with fries and the Oaxaca mole braised beef both of them were outstanding! We got the lava cake with berry puree for dessert. Definitely worth stopping by.

Nice place to enjoy a dinner at Durango downtown. There are three sections: main, front yard, and backside garden and two bars: the main one near the entrance and a small one near the backside garden. Very nice structured restaurant, very efficient service, and quick food serving. Recommended.

The food was pretty good. Average plate is $15-20. We got the soft pretzel appetizer and it was really good. The Rodeo burger was okay. The other 3 people in my group weren’t super impressed with their meals either, but still had a good time in a nice environment.

Stopped here for a bite to eat on my way home. I like that they craft their own root beer, it was good. The pretzel is made in house and was excellent. I just had a simple burger and their sidewinder fries, both were very good. I really like the ciabatta bun they use on their burgers. Very good meal overall. The staff were great as well, friendly and attentive.

Amazing atmosphere sitting on the sidewalk, with the dogs on a beautiful fall afternoon. Food was great! Beer 🍺 was great! Services was great and dog friendly! Thank you for such a great experience while we were in Durango.

Needed some lunch after Mesa Verde. Never been here before. Liked the smash burger menu. I had the Rodeo burger and wife had Nachos. I also tried Salmon chowder which was very good. Place was clean and good quick. Nice place.

Came here with my mom on our vacation from Maryland. I ordered Vince’s sandwich w/ ham and extra crispy hash-browns. I will never forget those hash-browns, or that delicious house made hot sauce. Meals were huge! Coffee tastes great, awesome interior design, and great service, 10/10 will be back.

Cozy, cute place. Hot, yummy coffee. A little bit of a wait but worth it. Huge portions. Fluffy eggs. Nice workers. You can put yourself on the waitlist on yelp.

If you are in Durango and will be eating breakfast- THIS IS THE PLACE! Each and every time we eat breakfast here, it’s great. The service is over the top, food is excellent and the atmosphere is 1950’s diner (fun).

Classic diner feel, service was prompt and on point, many options on the menu, just wish the chicken fried steak was from scratch and not frozen...however still a classic breakfast spot..

Hubby ordered Pork Sugo. It was superb. I ordered the Corn Risotto with oyster mushrooms it was too salty for me but the mushrooms and tomatoes were yummy. Desert was the lemon tart oh my delicious! Great service great atmosphere.

Although it’s a tavern, the food is surprisingly good. Pictures in reviews for this restaurant is rather outdated, but the quality seems to live up to its ratings. We ordered El Moro Burger (4.5/5) and Duck Confit (5/5) for brunch. Note that the Duck Confit here is different from the usual French one people knows, but the meat is cooked to perfection paired with an amazing sauce.

Awesome place. The staff was nice and friendly. I went about 45 minutes before closing. I was able to order,eat my meal and have dessert all before close. The burger was thick and juicy. It hit the spot. Also the French fries we thin and crispy, they were really done well. The desert was pictured in another review and I had to try it. This place I will have to visit again when I return to the area.

We split the El Moro Burger and fries and we asked for the burger to be cooked medium. The burger was a little undercooked. The burger was seasoned nicely. The fries were done well ahead of the burger and they were barely lukewarm. We received excellent service from the two young gals working the tables in the bar area. We walked 4 blocks from our hotel to the restaurant. I didn’t see their own parking lot. Note: 1. They automatically add a 20% tip to the bill. We almost always tip 20% for descent service. The servers missed out on a higher tip because I was taken back by their policy. 2. I ordered a Sprite and got a refill. I was not told there is no free refills and I did not see this on the menu. I was charge $8 for two Sprites. This added to me not leaving a larger tip. The servers lose out because of questionable policies. 3. I evaluated the food, service and atmosphere on their own merits and these issues did not impact the rating I gave.

I always have to go to El Morro every time I'm in town. I LOVE the bar, their drinks are always on point!! Happy one of the bartenders introduced me to my favorite ever drink with the best gin! I also enjoy lunch, dinner, happy hour....but their brunch is outstanding and my favorite of anywhere. This past weekend we had the duck biscuits and gravy and it was soooo good....I wish I could have it all the time! The food and drinks at El Morro is consistently amazing, and I love the atmosphere sitting at the bar, we always have great conversations with other guests and the bartenders!

We went on a Friday evening. We were seated right away. The fried cauliflower appetizer was very good. The steak frites was cooked perfectly. Duck fat fries were amazing, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Garlic aioli was perfect. Service was a bit lacking. Seemed short staffed. One of our tables entrees was forgotten. Otherwise nice experience. Atmosphere is very nice.

Nothing like finding gluten free (GF) beer on the menu from Holidaily! Also was nice having a GF bread option for a sandwich. Was a little loud on a Saturday night, but that’s just what happens. :)

Old old diner...only a few tables but mostly stools at a bar down the length of the place. Be prepared to wait for your food, however when it comes it is hot and fresh. Spouse had "the sirloin cure" with both country and green chili gravy. Sirloin tips served over a pile of hashbrowns with 2 eggs on top and covered with the gravy (your choice of gravy or both]. I had the bacon, egg, cheese on a toasted English muffin was tasty. Improvements would be fountain Coke products, and a revamping of the whole place to make it roomier and more efficient for servers and guests when they get busy.

Lynn below can shut up. This place was THE SPOT. There were 6 of us, we were all seated together at the bar. Super cute inside, aesthetic built in its character and charm, AMAZING service and we LOVED seeing breakfast cooked right in front of everyone! Our food was hot and enjoyed by all - highly recommend the cure or their hotcake!! The French toast was a bit heavy on the egg, but still very tasty!!

A great little counter diner where you can watch them cook for you! Freshly grated potatoes for hashbrowns. Fresh ingredients. Great service. Friendly staff. Mostly counter seating but also a few tables and booths.

Tiny quaint diner with big portions...had the cure with smoked turkey & sourdough bread, yum!...also tried some of their biscuits, yep that was a winner 4 my taste buds! The waiter we had she was awesome so attentive to details & prices about $17 a person.

We loved this little diner! Right in the middle of all of the shops too. Service took a little long BUT it’s all cooked to order so worth it in my opinion. The old school, diner feel was just what we wanted. The breakfast burrito was good!

I was looking to experience a classic American diner on my southwest roadtrip and Durango Diner was everything I could have wished for. Seats at the bar, heaps of delicious comfort food covered in american cheese and smothered in green chilli sauce and fantastic service who would banter with the clients. The menu had decent number of vegetarian options and I was able to exchange meat in The Cure for grilled veggies. The biscuits were fabulous and you should def get at least one.

Classic dinner with mainly counter seating and just a few tables. Love the old school vibe and simple menu. The staff were all warm and friendly. Hamburger steak with green Chile gravy and hand cut fries hit the spot.

“The work is the curse of the drinking classes.” On the corner of Main Avenue and W 7th, it has high ceilings, live music, dressed up female severs. My Beretta Pinot is yummy, so is the veggie quesadilla.

Fun and mostly enjoyable atmosphere offering an old west themed interior, combined with a piano player extraordinaire! Lonesome Dove meets Durango. The restaurant, well located in old town Durango, was nearly at full capacity, however a table in close proximity to the piano, was found within a short few minutes. This very skilled piano player aka the piano man, was the heart and soul of our evening. He was knowledgeable and accomplished, playing a wide variety of favorites, spanning several decades, while also accepting requests. For dinner, the hotel-themed burger w/ fries and a local craft beer was ordered, while my wife ordered the Cobb salad with a glass of Chardonnay. Decent meals w/ decent pricing. The only criticism involves our often forgetful waitress. Three times she had to be reminded of our simple request for a straw for our glasses of water. Most restaurants where we have dined instruct the waitstaff to carry straws with them, but apparently not here! Strangely inefficient! Even worse however was completely forgetting the strawberry ice cream we’d ordered for dessert. Reason, this particular blonde-haired waitress apparently does not consider the importance of taking the time needed to write down the order. This management failure is always a major warning sign to me. Come on ownership - instruct your wait staff to write or key the orders table-side and not to rely on an inefficient memory! Seems intuitive and yet a very basic fundamental when operating a restaurant. Order accuracy + food quality = happy customer. Kitchen confidential, I wondered how the renowned chef and food critic Anthony Bourdain might have opined. We were majorly disappointed by our waitress’ inattentiveness to our order, Will we return? Yes!

We tried this place for dinner. Small town kids from Texas and we enjoyed the feel of the place. If you like good company and great old style blue grass music this is the place to visit. Chicken Pot Pie was amazing.

I’ve always loved visiting the Diamond Belle Saloon — the atmosphere is wonderful, the food is always great, but most importantly, it’s the people like Erik Rios who truly make the experience special. He’s not only an excellent bartender but also someone who brings warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality to every guest he serves. It was very disappointing to hear that he’s no longer there — the place simply isn’t the same without him. I truly hope management considers bringing Erik back, as his presence made such a positive difference and kept so many of us coming back time and again.

Old West vibe. The restaurant is connected to the old hotel and the staff is dressed like saloon girls and gentlemen. The menu is pretty limited. We had the pot pie and meatloaf. It was fresh and you could tell. Like they cooked it just for us even we got there. The place is a little small and we meter parked but for free. The Strater motel looks like it would be a fun place to stay.

I love to make a pit stop here when walking historic downtown Durango. They have good customer service and the girls are dressed like in the old Wild West.

This is a must see if you go to Durango. Historic, mindfully restored, friendly service and great entertainment the night we were there. We didn't stay at the hotel.

Hands down the best breakfast in the Four Corners region. And yeah, we've tried 'em all. With fresh ingredients cooked by a crew that knows what they're doing and a friendly, helpful staff, College Cafe is ALWAYS a good choice. If you're hungry, check out the Bomb Burrito; the chorizo is to die for, and if you like Eggs Benedict, you won't find a better hollandaise within an 8-hour drive. And locally roasted coffee for the win! The new Downtown Durango digs are bright, cozy, and clean. Get on the waitlist when it's busy, it's worth it😎

Paid parking only...NO FREE PARKING Pepsi products ICK. Great server, quaint restaurant. One egg bacon cheese on an English muffin was 11.99..a bit much when you can get the same at a diner down the road for $8...spouse really liked the coconut curry scramble.

We enjoyed breakfast here one morning of our stay and really liked the place. It's small and the staff is busy and friendly. I had the Puebloan Benedict and she had the classic breakfast. Both were excellent and came with a good portion of home fries. Great place to enjoy a breakfast made to order.

Walked here from The DoubleTree for an early breakfast in the cool August morning air. Walked in, saw only 2 other customers at 6:45 AM. Great service: Friendly hosts, who also double as great wait staff: Frequent checks at the table, always with a coffee carafe in hand for a warmer. Ordered the chorizo scrambler (made with nearby Sunnyside chorizo), which is topped with melted cheddar cheese and green chile. I opted for no sour cream, which is also standard, per the menu. Sided with home fries and flat-top warmedflour tortillas, which are fluffy-ish, not thin. You guys, this breakfast is pure Southwest magic. We loved seeing the attention a patron's dog outside received as more, and more and more people were waiting for a table. Get here early! You will not be disappointed.

A short walk from the Strater Hotel. Delightfully clean with friendly staff. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options! I especially enjoyed the real, not frozen, home fries. This breakfast is a great way to load up for a day of walking and exploring. We didn't have any trouble finding a parking space and used an app to pay. Happy to support local food and the city.

Absolutely delicious!! And the staff is so sweet. My husband and I are vegan and they accommodated us wonderfully. My fave is the Super Spuds with curry sauce! And the fried potatoes alone are yummy! 😋💛

Great spot for pizza downtown. Appetizers (stuffed mushrooms) were delicious and appropriately portioned. Pizza had charring typical of wood fired pizza. Kids loved their pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Would recommend for dine in, not carry out. This style of pizza deserves to be eaten fresh.

This place is a must stop in Durango, it's right in the middle of shopping in their downtown area. Emma was our server and she was so sweet and attentive! The pizza is hand tossed in the window and made fresh!

Fabulous.. we got the artichoke and other veggies.. the crust was great.. the 10 in was plenty big enough for three, with leftovers.. had small salad with citrus dressing. The salad was fresh and we loved the citrus dressing. Yum.

Worst dining experience EVER in my life! Right from the minute we walked in -having to enter our order on a kiosk with 2 gals standing right behind it doing nothing-also asked for advance tip! We asked for the fobs to try the wall selection of beers and wines(you just tap your fob on the selection and get the amount you want) which most drinks were out! Ugh.then finally got to place our order..my daughter's calzone came out made as a pizza ! Garlic knots were ok! It took forever to get my pizza and it was NOT edible! Mind you..this all took about an hour! We were the only 2 customers there...my daughters 'calzone' it looked like a crossaint oen faced and all dried up!!! We got the waitress attention to get a refund and the 'superviser' said she didn't have authorization...they would have to call their boss..that took over 20 minutes...then they didn't think we ordered more than a calzone, garlic knots and weren't going to give full refund! I showed them the receipt on my phone! Finally after and hour and a half we got our refund! So..all in all ..we had 2 soda and a few garlic knots! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE!

This place is pretty amazing. The menu is great, and the donuts are superb. You can grab and go with your food, or sit and eat. The food was good. The sausage is not a generic sausage. It tastes homemade, which was a nice surprise. We really enjoyed our meal. And again, the donuts were great! The best breakfast we had on our stay in Durango.

The omelet was tasty (Chicago? Denver?). The pastries seem pricey at first, but one powdered raspberry-filled could serve 2 people. Service was attentive and polite.

Not bad, I thought the grab-and-go burrito I picked up was pretty decent. Quick and easy at least. But like, how are you out of bagels within 15 minutes of opening?? Were none made?

The glazed need more glaze and the consistency of the doughnut is very bread like. The smores doughnut it pretty good .

Awful. Came here a year ago and we were seated but never had our order taken. So after waiting for over 30 minutes we left. Decided to try this place again. We were sat and our order was taken. But…the waitress forgot our food. We waiting an hour, asked about our food before she realized our order never made it to the kitchen. We didn’t get refills. Once the food did come out, the plates were barely half filled with food. It was cold. Frozen packaged food. NOT WORTH IT. Gas station food would have been better.

Good food, cool environment, I only went down a star because the waitress openly and loudly complained about her tip from another table, and made fun of the table for not "knowing math" for our entire zone to hear. I've waited tables for most of my life, sometimes you get bad ones and its part of it, complaining loudly for all to hear doesn't give us a good experience as the patron. It affected our morning, hopefully can change my review with a different more cheerful visit.

Delicious bagel sandwiches. Gotta add on the "smear," which is like a cream cheese mixture - I got the garlic & herb. You can order from a selection of sandwiches or build your own bagel - I got egg, cheese, & Canadian bacon 😋 on an everything bagel. I will definitely be coming back to try their lunch sandwiches! New favorite sandwich place in Durango? We shall see!

Stopped in for breakfast at Durango Bagel before catching the train to Silverton. Unfortunately, I found the bagel and sandwiches to be overpriced and not particularly impressive in quality. It was the only spot open at the time and conveniently close to the station, which is why I chose it. Just being honest — not terrible, but definitely not worth the price in my opinion.

Durango Bagel is the perfect place for breakfast before the train. Located just half a block from the train station you can grab your breakfast before you board. The bagels are fresh and delicious - and they make bagel breakfast sandwiches with lots of options. I'm not a coffee addict and I don't understand coffee culture - Durango Bagel sells coffee and the coffee lovers can slow down the line a bit with their overly complicated orders. But overall service is good and relatively quick. It is a smaller place with limit indoor seating but when you're in the San Juans, outdoors is the place to eat." Highly recommend.

Cute little eatery with indoor and covered, outdoor seating.  We had egg and cheese breakfast bagels and coffees.  Quality of ingredients and the atmosphere were both really good.  Thumbs up! It was a little confusing regarding getting your food when it was ready.  That was the only negative for me.  We were outside next to the service window, and I guess they only call out orders inside when they're ready.

Obsessed with this place and have been for years. It can get slammed with train traffic so be prepared for a bit of a wait at times but it’s worth it. Even when they’re super busy the employees are always kind and happy! Bagels are fantastic, as are the breakfast sandwiches. Bonus: sometimes the owners dogs are out front and I love saying hello to them!

Bagels are decent but there was only one person working there and the place was packed. The employee was doing a great job considering she was by herself. Me and the gentleman being me agreed that the place was to busy for just one person. I told the employee she was doing a good job and I can't believe she was alone, she said the other employee who was supposed to be there shows up when she feels like it. Wow! I'm amazed that would be allowed. They also cook their eggs in plastic and in the microwave! Not good.

Came out here from Arizona. Stopped in to grab breakfast on our way to Denver. What a mistake. $41 for 2 breakfast bagels and a tea is absolutely insane and the people working acted like they couldn’t care less. The highlight of this place were the 2 dogs that were outside and they weren’t even part of the store. Einstein’s is half the price and the food tastes better. Save your money.

Really great variety of quality food! Healthier options mixed in with more standard foot truck items. I love that the seating surrounds a bar! I have not been to a food truck courtyard quite like this before. It’s also dog friendly which is always appreciated! Bartender/server was very friendly. I did receive warnings about the pizza “The Box” wings being frozen and not cooking well- I wood skip that and recommend Backcountry Gourmet sliders are incredible and the avalanche bowls were also delicious!!

Great concept offering multiple food trucks surrounding a seating area and bar. We can sit at tables outside, most under cover , be served drinks while ordering food of your choice from one of the many trucks on site. We chose the ago tuna poke bowls from the Avalanche Bowl Company. They were great.

Once again we took the suggestion of many reviewers and visited 11th Street Station. It's a collection of food trucks, lots of tables, fun decorations, and anchored by a permanent structure, Ernie's Bar. Several different types of food, all made to order, fresh, hot, and fast. We had chicken tenders from The Cluck Stop which were incredible, and Truffle Fries from the Backcountry Gourmet, both of which were suggested by the bartender at Ernie's. She was spot on. This is a really fun place. Much of the seating is covered but only part is enclosed. Don't know if they're open year round, but it's must in Durango.

First time here and we stopped hoping the Stanley Cup Finals were on at the bar. The bartender Brooke was very accommodating and changed the channel… the drinks were amazing and she recommended a snack at one of the food trucks… we had the pork belly slider and the burger slider modified to our liking with caramelized onion and sauce on the side… OMG.. they were amazing… we will definitely be back! Brooke never stops… she is a hard worker, a great employee, and makes great drinks! Cheers!

You’re in for a perfect meal. The seating areas are spacious and inviting, and there’s often live music or events happening that make it feel like a true community hub. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the entire place was clean and well-run. 11th Street Station isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience. I can’t wait to go back!

I had very mixed feelings about this place. Initially I was going to get some sliders and fries, UNTIL I asked about the menu and the price for the Backcountry Gourmet is per slider, that is absolutely outrageous prices, I actually asked if she was serious. So for three sliders, just normal size sliders, and a regular fry, $30, just typing it and I am still in disbelief, and by far the rudest of all the vendors. I am including pictures of all the vendors I saw. We ended up getting a pizza and a Greek salad, which definitely was not a Greek salad and the dressing was terrible, FYI…Greek salads have feta cheese not chunks of mozzarella! Regardless, the pizza was pretty good. But to be honest, I wouldn’t go back here unless everything was closed and 7-11 was out of hot dogs.

An awesome place to sit, relax, and enjoy the vibe!! Outdoor patio with tables, umbrellas, lights and misters. The variety of options for food was amazing. Best of all was our server, Sean, at Ernies. He took great care of us!!

Hidden gem! This tiny restaurant may have only a few tables, but it delivers big on flavor and quality. Every dish we tried was incredibly fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely delicious. Stopped in for dinner here with my son. He loves sushi and was very excited to try a new place. He ordered the Dragon roll and we also ordered the Lime Twist at the recommendation of the waiter. Both rolls were delicious. I ended up preferring the Dragon and my son the Lime Twist, so that worked out really well. I also ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and I'm glad I did, as it was outstanding. We were a bit surprised when we entered that the restaurant is very compact. There is a counter along the window side, 3 tables with a long bench along the wall and two stools on the aisle of each of those tables (so 3 cozy 4-tops), and a couple seats at the bar with very high stools. There is some outdoor seating as well. Luckily we were able to snag the 2 counter seats, and we could watch the staff at work. They were amazingly quick and efficient in the tiny kitchen, despite the amount of staff crammed in there. They obviously are very experienced working together, and were very professional. Because it was so busy when we arrived, we did have to wait a bit to get our food, but it certainly wasn't because anyone was slacking. They were in constant motion, but still polite. They even took the time to chat when they had a moment to do so. The prices were comparable to other sushi places we go to for this quality. Yes, it's small and can be crowded, but it's popularity is well deserved. My son wants to return to try their pho. From what we saw of the size of the servings, we will probably have to split a bowl!

This place is so FRESH and so GOOD! I'm a huge sushi lover and really picky with places. We started off with the fried pork rolls and i will crave those again and again. Super crunchy, super tasty and the dipping sauce, Wowza!! The rolls were fresh, nice size pieces and they have cilantro to add to any rolls. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I come from amazing restaurants in Florida then moved to Denver and found only 2 places for Sushi that were a hit. Nowwww I moved to Durango and tried several and Rice 🐒 is my #1 . It is in a perfect location in downtown Durango, it's a small place inside but the smaller the restaurant the better and fresher and cleaner it is. It has outdoor pet friendly area with a roof, and wonderful to people watch. I can't wait to go back to my new favorite sushi place. Prices are a bit high but worth it.

We have been visiting Durango every year for several years. Eaten at most of the restaurants downtown but never Rice Monkey. I am so sad that we hadn't gone in before because it was honestly such a great experience and quality food. The space is small but we were able to get a spot thankfully. Our server was friendly and quick to greet and seat us. Hubby had the chicken teriyaki bowl and I had the Volcano Roll. Took some time to come out but it was well worth the wait. The bowl was large and filled with fresh ingredients. The Volcano Roll was hands down the best sushi roll I have ever had. I mean it was delish!!! All of the food that came out of the kitchen looked amazing. We will definitely be returning to Rice Monkey when we return next year. Thanks for the great meal and experience!

We enjoyed our meal. We had the rainbow roll, crispy tuna and chicken teriyaki bowl. The bowl was great. And the rolls were very good as well. 4 stars because the rolls weren't the best I have had.

This place is awesome! We had 4 different rolls and each one was totally great!! If you’re craving sushi, this is the spot! The space is small, don’t let that sway you, try it! Steady flow of people tells you the food is bomb! Hell ya!

We had a very pleasant experience at Nini’s Taqueria! First of all, the owners greeted us immediately and explained the menu options. The restaurant was immaculately clean and it was obvious that the owners take pride in their store. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion of barbacoa on my bowl! My husband had to finish my bowl (which almost never happens). I love the mix of lettuce with cabbage and the delightful salsa options. I would definitely recommend this place over any taqueria in town!!! Delicious food, great service, clean restaurant, made to order quickly! 10/10

We’re out-of-towners and had a fantastic experience here! The outdoor seating is beautiful, with stunning views and the charming sound of the train coming and going nearby. My boyfriend and I ordered the carnitas and barbacoa quesadillas—both were delicious. I also tried the jalapeño margarita, which was flavorful, crisp, and super refreshing. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this spot for you and your family!

The fish burrito with roasted serrano salsa was delicious. There is a small and a regular and the regular filled me up nicely. As a guy that eats to be full and not just “not hungry” I would recommend the regular. The Serrano salsa wasn’t too spicy and was wonderful flavor. Overall this was an affordable spot with a delicious fish burrito, delicious guac, and a nice patio off Main Street.

I wish I could give a better review for Nini's. I haven't eaten at Nini's for over 10 years (we don't eat out much.) It's changed quite a bit. I couldn't find much that was actually Mexican in my burrito. It was a mealy, boring store bought tortilla with rice & beans. Please invite some Mexican people in to teach you how to make tortillas and burritos. The fish burrito tasted like my Norwegian Grandma seasoned it. Try adding tomatoes, onions, cilantro, peppers and chilies. More fish, less rice & beans. My husband ordered a tortilla salad. It was a pile of rice and beans, some whole spinach leaves out of the bag, bland tomatillo salsa & some corn tortilla chips straight out of the bag. It could have had more attention to creating something more appealing.

I feel obligated to leave a review because I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS PLACE IS RATED 5 STARS! Save yourself some $ and go to Taco Bell instead. Pretty disappointing. Understaffed so the service was slow, the food was mediocre at best, I got the tacos and the corn tortillas were incredibly dry. We also ordered the salad and it was basically taco filling with a few spinach leaves thrown in. The chips were from the grocery store. No bueño!

Our go to place in Colorado for Tex-mex…. We love this place and always have great food and service at both Durango and Bayfield locations…. The other one in Pagosa sucks, different brother owns that one. So when you’re in Durango, definitely try this place.

You know the food is going to be amazing when the salsa doesn’t taste canned and is spicy and the chips are freshly warm. My favorite part was how they aren’t stingy with adding a lot in their plates! And lastly that dessert was AMAZING. Definitely stop by here for some good Mexican food.

We travel everywhere and always google places to eat to check the reviews first. I have to say WOW! The food here is Bunisimo!!!! I do have to comment if you ask for spicy, you get spicy!!! But oh so delicious! Compliments to the chef!

Awesome food and margaritas - fair prices. The bartenders are super nice and my husband is amazed. He counted 77 different tequilas to choose from!

Amazing Food and Service! Tequila’s Mexican Restaurant is absolutely amazing! The Burrito of the Sea was delicious — packed with fresh seafood, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. The service was excellent, and the whole experience was top-notch. Highly recommend this place!

Great flavors and reasonable prices at Zia! I got the regular nachos and a bowl, both with carne asada. The meat, salsas, and toppings were very good! On the nachos, the cheese and toppings were all in the center / not distributed, so had to kind of re-engineer the thing to avoid being left with a bunch of chips at the end. For the bowl, I wasn't told that guacamole is extra, guess I should have assumed from Chipotle. I love and appreciate that they offer washable plates and silverware for eating at the restaurant – lots of places just go disposable for everything, which bums me out. Overall, great food for a reasonable price, but kind of a learning curve for a newcomer.

We came in on a road trip and hit Zia Taqueria after the D&S train. I got the Tuesday special Chile Relleno, family got tacos, quesadilla, and a super taco. Food is prepared in front of you while in line. Ingredients were fresh and had good flavor. If I'm being really picky, my Chile was a little old. It was the last one in the pan. It was still really good though. They load the food with toppings. They also have locally made specialty soda flavors at the fountain. We tried most of them. The cucumber soda needed some help, but the rest were great. Would definitely recommend. We had 13 in our party and everyone was happy.

On our way from Flagstaff to Golden, we stopped to have lunch with our nephew who lives in Durango and he highly recommended we join him here. Nephew had a burrito bowl, he got the Tuesday special, chilli relleno, she enjoyed some chips and guacamole. All were freshly prepared and tasty. We sat outside and our Nephew told us the backstory on the local chain. The vibe was very local and was a great stop for a Mexican style lunch. Highly recommend Zia Taqueria.

Zia Taqueria is outstanding. The food is fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic — every dish feels like it’s made with care. The ingredients are high quality, the flavors are bold, and the portions are generous. It’s the kind of spot where you can taste the difference right away. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere make the experience even better. Easily one of the best places around for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Do the north and south locations share owners? This south location is so unpleasant. The employees look miserable, the portions are vastly smaller, and the employees are just rude. The last three visits I’ve had to request the “complimentary” handful of chips that followed with an eye roll. If I order online and don’t leave a tip, the portions are almost half the size as walk in. The cookies used to taste fresh now they are hard and feel days old. Sad to see one of my favorite spots go downhill.

Had to wait in line before ordering. Food was made quickly and workers nice. Being from Arizona, had higher hopes on Mexican food. For the price, we weren't too impressed. But again, service was great!

It's very similiar to Chilosos. Food was good, had a 10 minute wait at dinner time but the line moved quickly. Most people are doing take-out so it leaves plenty of indoor seating.

Called in an order for Birra Tacos. I am from Texas, so some friends around town told me to check out switchback. This is how it went... The call was answered in 2 rings by the bartender, I believe. My order was taken down in a fast and efficient fashion, and he was extremely polite. The tacos were as I ordered with no onions perfect. Upon reaching the location, the bartender helped me with my pick-up order again extremely fast. This was on a Saturday and it was very busy. Fast friendly service, and the tacos were very juicy with extra sauce to go. They even gave me a fee chips with my order. Highly recommend

Great place for casual eats! My partner and I were passing through Durango on our way to Pagosa Springs and stopped at Switchback for a bite to eat. We were seated on the patio pretty fast and our server was amazing! Super informative, attentive, and very kind. We ordered the loaded vegan fries and some frozen margaritas. My partner (being a little bit of a klutz) spilled his drink and the server jokingly gave him a hard time and replaced it for free. The drinks hit the spot on a hot day! The loaded fries had lots of flavor, came out piping hot, and were very filling (even when split by two). I’d definitely recommend anyone stop here for food and/or drinks, especially if you’re vegan/vegetarian.

Undoubtedly the greasiest and rather less tasteful food I have had in years. The food is buried in greasy fries that try to hide that taste with an over abundance over spices. One dish laced with greasy cheese was inedible. The absolute worst $50 I spent in a very long time. You know that 100%… I will never be going back.

Switchback is a modern take on Mexican food with a great bar, good food selection and good service. Located right on the main street in Durango, Switchback has an extensive menus of tacos and related Mexican dishes. I loved the three dip trio (you can choose three dips from a menu of five or six). The tacos were good if slightly small. The upside is you get three for $12 and that's good value for money. If you want a casual dinner, this is a great choice.

Edit 1/8/25: The vegan switch fries are back to normal, don't miss out! The food here is phenomenal and the service is some of the best Durango has to offer. Love their vegan options. You simply must have the vegan switch fries, they are out of this world.

This place was great! We got the switchback fries in both regular and vegan versions. We added mushrooms to the vegan fries. The vegan mushroom tacos with sunflower seeds were delightful. The sunflower seeds add a nice texture to the dish. All of the food was very flavorful and satisfying. Everyone in our group enjoyed our meals and highly recommend this place!

Got the angliotti ravioli and expected when paying $24 for six small ravioli for it to be fairly decent quality. As soon as I opened the box I noticed the sauce is broken and the ravioli is over cooked and tough.

For 28 dollars you can get an overcooked, underseasoned chicken parm, paired with no pasta. Instead you can get a tablespoon of overcooked veggies and 2 undercooked baby potatoes. Between the charred chicken and the rock hard potatoes I’m not sure which would break my tooth first. At least the water was good and the waitress was nice cause if not I would’ve had to fight the hostess for evening giving me a table. Mamma Silvia would be disappointed, and so am I.

I want to first start by saying that I had an incredible experience at this restaurant thanks to the bartender, Sammi! I wanted to check this place out while visiting town because my mom is named Sylvia, but the day I came, I had a blistering headache. Sammi highlighted the herbal teas for me and her treatment fixed me right up! The food itself was very fresh tasting and the bread was great! I had the Bolognese and although it was lacking salt, the meal was fantastic and Sammi definitely made sure to check on me while recovering! I'd definitely come back the next time I visit Durango to get served by Sammi again. Fantastic person and she embodied what I thought of Mamma Silvia!

I guess they thought we were tourists! No, we have lived in Durango area for 25 years. The place was not even busy. They had many people working. They sat us down and never returned. We read the menu , picked a bottle of wine, appetizers, and main course. Still not even a glass of water. Waved down one guy and asked if we had a server. He said he would get one. No one showed up. We left and went to the sushi place next door and was seated right away and took our drink order right then.Great service on one side, terrible on the other. Do you even train your staff?

Best thing I have treated myself to in a long time. I thought I was underdressed but these folks are top notch. The salad prepared your table is like watch a creme brulee served, it's a production! Didn't but the beverage list is incredible. I got a seafood dish with two lobster tails, shrimp, clams, octopus, and mussels from East Coast fresh over a bed of linguine for under 50 bucks. See the before and after pictures below. I came on a Saturday night and was only one seated at the bar, if in a group try to make reservations. Also please note that sushi restaurant around the corner is actually part of the same building and owner! So servers are actually working to restaurants at the same time. For those concerned about cross contamination, there are two separate kitchens depending on what you came for. This was my only meal in Durango and it is definitely a go to when you want to treat yourself and others to a great culinary experience.

Nice dining experience. I was surprised to read negative comments regarding the staff. Everyone was super friendly, attentative, and respectful. My favorite was the salad pictured. The best. My husband loved the chicken parm. I appreciated that the side zucchini veggies were perfectly cooked. The strawberry shortcake dessert was out of this world.

Food was not good. Our pasta dishes were served cold. Lamb chops were not edible.water was not good. No ice. Waited over an hour from order time until food was served. Restaurant was not busy other than the bar. Save yourself some time and disappointment. This place has really gone downhill.

Great atmosphere, service & food. The place was decorated nicely and very cozy. Best carne asada I've ever had. I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality and portions. Our waitress was amazing and very helpful with suggestions. Also the Michelada was tasty.

We had a couple of margaritas here and an appetizer and really enjoyed ourselves. Lalo your server was fantastic. He checked on us from time to time and we had some really nice conversations with him. He seemed like a really nice kid. I think we'll be back on the 2nd half of our trip.

The food was absolutely incredible. My family lives in an area with access to great taquerias and this place matched and arguably exceeded the quality we get there. We had a range of dishes from beef and seafood to lengua and everything tasted great. Portion sizes were very reasonable compared to the price and service was fast and friendly. , Genuinely, the only downside is the parking. There is not a lot of it and it's a little bit tight.

Stopped there after work while in Durango. Wow, great place! I had the Carnitas and Pastor tacos. The flavors were amazing! Great family recipe! The service was awesome. The place is very clean. You can tell ownership cares about everything. We will be back every month we are here.

I was excited to try this Mexican Restaurant after reading the reviews. I will say it was delicious. I had the enchiladas and the red sauce was amazing. The salsa was great, tasted fresh. My husband had the birria quesadilla which was good. Just make sure to add the pickled onions which added much needed heat. Don't order the queso, its made from Velvetta cheese which was disappointing. Otherwise, I was quite happy with my experience. Staff was attentive and kept the drink refills coming.

Had high hopes for Frida's after craving Mexican food for 2 weeks. Service was great but food was not. The queso, or as I refer to it the bowl of bowel blockage, was terrible. Street tacos were fairly tasteless. We'll skip Frida's next time we're in Durango.

The appropriately named Smiley Cafe will bring a smile to your face. The atmosphere is welcoming and perfect for studying, work, and chats with friends. I had the most delicious Chai Boba! I also had a delightful connection with the cafe staff and the cafe owner, Grant. You can tell the business is run by more than caffeine and profit, there is a kindness and thoughtfulness in every pour and every smile.

Cute cafe shop that offered Gluten Free items. We arrived around 11am are were disappointed they did not have the Gluten free Quiche, GF Fritatta muffins or GF bacon sausage burritos. So we settled for the veg burrito which was pretty good. The star was the Pumpkin Muffin with Choc bits. That was really good. I had a similar one in Pagosa Springs that was not nearly as good, so kudos for the Smiley for adding Chocolate to the muffin! lol. We ate outside at the tables near the street. It was very nice, quiet and peaceful. A short walk back to town.

The Smiley Café is always a great place to relax and unwind, meet friends, work remotely, or just have a nice cup of ancho chili mocha coffee or homemade chai. I am cozy here this morning, sipping this coffee, enjoying the art, the music, and the peaceful vibe it always emits.

SUPER cool location, best part. great lighting, calm music with comfy furniture and open isolated spaces upstairs. the lady who took our order, was not very friendly.. not welcoming - first impressions matter! the menu was very diverse with drinks and flavors, boba options were super cool but didn’t try. I got a Carmel latte, super good espresso quality but I feel like it’s definitely missing something. my sister got a regular latte and as you can see, our lattes looks VERY different and mine was much more creamy. we would not recommend regular latte, it was made much differently. we got broccoli cheese soup, it was very good the texture was interesting. although didn’t fill the cup :/ then a tomato soup, it was much sweeter than salty or basil tasting. I didn’t like it much personally but filled cup!:) other worker took dishes for us kindly. Overall super a unique place and would return.

Favorite coffee shop to come to either for a quick pickup or to set up shop and get some work done. Every one of the baristas has been super friendly, and skilled in their craft! Love this place and love the gluten free options :)

The café is located inside an old junior high school building that has been converted into comfortable relaxing coves, the Cafe, a whole section of local artists' studios/wares to browse, and small business offices. Love it! The Smiley Cafe has a limited, but tasty, menu for breakfast and lunch, specialty coffees, a good tea selection, smoothies, and bottled drinks. Highly recommend a unique place to chill.

I was blown away that this is part of a historic building that's also a school. But it's so cute and nicely laid out. I just wish some people would understand the term " inside voice" when they're having a meeting or even just sitting with another friend.

I don't write reviews, this place pissed me off enough to go out of my way to do this, but here was my experience. I walked in with my girlfriend, sat down. No introduction from the bartender, no server. Sat down for 5 minutes, wondering when we're going to be acknowledged. We got up, took a look at the pizzas on display, wondering how we were going to order. The girl up front was busy at the computer and wouldn't acknowledge either of us despite her glaring at us like we are a problem she has to deal with. We asked for a menu, she pointed to where they were, we got it, sat back down. There was not a single acknowledgement of our existence from there forward. We got up and left, like we were never even there in the first place. This is place is memorable in that it is the worst customer service I've ever received from anywhere.

This was my first experience, as I am just a traveling salesman. Having worked in pizza shops across the country, I gotta say this made me smile. The pepperoni rolls were next level. So was the sandwich, and pizza. I’m laying on this hotel couch in absolute bliss.

Came across this place while on vacation in Colorado. Some of the best pizza we have ever had! The crust had an amazing crunch and flavor and the toppings were top notch! And our mini poodle got to enjoy the meal with us on the patio! We will definitely make this a stop every time we pass through Durango!

I accidentally went to the wrong pizza place. Pizza had sat in the warmer for awhile, service was subpar, it was a bar atmosphere, however, the soda was cold and fresh! and the men/women's restroom was clean.

Such a wonderful experience and a true highlight of my trip! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm cup of cocoa to sip on. One of the employees kindly walked my sister and I through each of their chocolates, sharing stories about their company and each chocolate along the way. The customer service was exceptional, the staff were incredibly kind, and the cocoa and chocolates were absolutely delicious! You can tell these people truly care about their customers and put love into what they do.

This was our 2nd visit. The hot chocolate to sip while you browse is rich and delicious. The truffles are a true delight to be savored. The guy with the great hair is full of bad jokes the kids love. The kids enjoyed watching the team work in the back making chocolate. The very friendly owner took the time to explain to the kids what she was working on and how she entered the chocolate business. Great experience enjoying a local company.

What a wonderful Chocolate shop. Edie greeted us within a minute or so of coming in, asked if we'd like some drinking chocolate, we said yes please. The building is beautiful, staff professional and the chocolate is so delicious. We bought truffles and a chocolate bar. We'll be back Thank you for a wonderful experience.

First of all, putting the background story of getting your recipes from somebody else’s Recipe book and exploiting it for your own benefit is not a good story. Second, other brands like “Get Back to Human” are far more tasty for less money. You can find these at PJ’s grocery store in Hermosa.

Great service, solid beer selection and the food was delicious. We had the dinner special of the day, which happened to be prime rib, and flat iron steak and crab cake. Would definitely recommend.

This place has great food and amazing service! The bartender shook my hand to introduce himself and took care of everything from there. The shrimp and grits were amazing and are plates had no crumbs to spare. Great atmosphere.

Quality, fresh food in a relaxed and warm setting. We were served by Buzz, who was a pleasure throughout and very professional. We were given the specials on arrival and despite our initial worries, didn't feel out-of-place in winter sports attire (after a long day of snowboarding). Food was excellent, and pretty reasonably priced, as was the wine. The general feel of the place is very relaxed, and the tropical aquariums are a nice touch. Recommended!

I was really hoping I'd have good thing's to say about my experience here, but it just wasn't that amazing. Ordered the Prime Rib, dry, very dry and over cooked. Salad Bar was okay, blue cheese dressing really needs more flavor for being so loaded with large blue cheese chunks, I figured it was going to taste awesome, that was not the case. Service was ok, very attentive! My mixed drink was the best part of the meal 🍹

To be fair, I will write the positive first. The atmosphere is very pleasant and I would have thought to have received a better quality of food than we did. From our entry into the restaurant to our exit the wait staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. Shane, was our server and apologized profusely for what is to follow. My wife ordered the lobster tail which came out over done and my steak was bland to say the least. In all the places like this one I have visited throughout the States, I have never believed I would need steak sauce to be able to enjoy the steak That is the reason for my 3 Star rating

Pizza was pretty good. Beware that a slice is absolutely massive! The GF Hawaiian was also delicious. They have real Cain sugar sodas which taste so much better than the big commercial brands. We would definitely come again.

I loved Fathers Daughter’s back in the day, they moved locations, still the best. Now the best by far, please support this business! It’s a great bar, great family place, great establishment and great place to get wings and salads and pizza, and beer and full bar. Still a hidden gem and it should NoT be so hidden.

Absolutely loved it. The pizza slice was a great size and delicious. Absolutely loved the cheesy bread. (didn't like the cane sugar sodas but not a soda drinker to start with.) Food came quickly and check out was easy. Would come again if in town.

Travelled all the way to Durango from Oklahoma for a funeral, hungry and worn out. This place was AMAZING, BIG NEW YORK STYLE PIZZA. Huge slices, wings were great and my margarita was top notch. Don't leave without trying this place. Employee's were very professional. Loved it💗🌻

Ordered 18” pizza glutton delicious! Was huge 8 humongous slices 3 adults couldn’t finish we had 3 slices left . It had so much meat everything on it was delicious!

Some of the workers just dont care and I can see the pattern. Next time this happens I will call them out on it. I pay for the food I order, not help out Mcdonald's because they cant afford to fill my fries.

Walked in late around 11:50pm to grab a hot coffee on my way home with my wife, but got told rudely to leave. They said, they didn't know how we got in, but the door on the side of the building was open so we just went in. So maybe if they did their nighttime job letter, that nobody would be coming in the doors?. The lady could have at least been nice about telling us it was closing time.

Why the hell did I have to wait 15 min for a simple quarter pounder meal! It’s ridiculous. You make food in advance. Now if it was custom I understand the wait but it was a simple standard order. Ordered and payed for sausage biscuit. When I got it was egg and cheese no sausage patty and biscuit was cold and hard. Payed extra for cheese on a sandwich that was in the past always had cheese without paying extra for an order over 5 dollars for total a piece of junk.

Please be more careful with order accuracy. We placed an order for unsweetened tea and confirmed it on the board. We pulled up she handed us the tea and we said unsweetened correct? She said yes. We have health issues that are aggravated by sugar so taking a huge gulp of the sweetened tea they handed us will have me ill for the day…

Went to get coffee & breakfast on May 17th speaking into the speaker ordered 2 coffees with sandwiches and more food. Asked if everything was correct it gives you a few seconds to read your full order “not enough time”. Manager asks us to pull up to window and he had red dyed hair was very cocky and rude. I see how they have a 3.3 rating. They need to find good management to lead staff. He was young with red hair walks early am shift. Get rid of him or you will keep losing money

I went there with a friend and we were going to get some boba and we were looking at the menu and the server showed us the cups and I said “oh so there’s no difference” like to joke about the sizes of the cups looking about the same size and she picked up the cups and put them together to show they were different,she sat down pulled up a chair and pulled out her phone and said “take your time” obviously I was joking and just trying to lighten the mood because she seemed like she was having a bad day. Horrible costumer service i wished she’d been more respectful I don’t want to go back to that store.

The guy working today was super nice and patient with me while I had my infant. The Peaches & Cream Italian soda really hit the spot! Definitely will come back and try all the other yummy options they have!

My sisters and visited Durango today and went to Magpies Newsstand and Café. We each got a different boba drink and we waited 40 minutes from the time we ordered to getting our drinks! The boba was sadly not worth the wait. We got drinks that were watery and bland :(

DoorDashed a taco salad and all they sent was the salad and 1/4 cup of chili no dressing or the tortilla chips or silverware and it had rotten tomatoes. Was nasty and I called back to back and no one ever answered.

This is by far the worst Wendy’s I’ve been to in the United States. Not only does this Wendy’s not care about the quality of their food, their employees don’t care about much of anything. I had to wait to pull up to the actual drive-through window because they had a homeless family at the window when I arrived, which I was sympathetic about. But then when I got my food and everything was ice cold and the order was made incorrectly, I turned around and returned only to have them tell me they couldn’t make my order correctly because they were out of tomatoes. That would have been fine, but they said they were remaking my order with hot food. I got back the same order of cold food, two cold burgers and ice cold fries. I am simply in awe at the lack of caring of this Wendy’s. The girl at the window was doing her best and I could tell she had very little support from any management or other employees. I’m appalled. I spent over $14.00 for my meal. I should have just given the money to the homeless family. I hope they at least got hot food. I may go back tomorrow to speak to management but I won’t be returning for their food. Awful, awful awful. Pathetic. I can only imagine that if their service is that bad on any given night, when they weren’t even busy, that their management probably is just as bad so maybe I’ll have to go see if I can find a corporate number to call. I’m delusional right? No such thing as customer service in America anymore. I guess this is tRump’s Great America now eh?

Worst Wendy's food of our lives. We love Wendy's. Our burgers were both so burnt that they were like charcoal. The first person to come to the counter said Sorry I don't know how to use the computer. Once we finally ordered and got our food we could not find anyone behind the counter again to return it. Stay clear of this Wendy's location.

The bad reviews all make sense now. The lady in the drive thru was super rude in her tone. They had no coke and were not selling double patties because they were running low on meat, which, makes no sense, sell what you have and close early or get better at your food ordering. We decided to go to Sonic. Whoever manages this location needs to figure it out.

What happened here? My wife and I got completely burnt to death burgers. We would have definitely returned them but when we picked them up the staff joked with us about not knowing how to do anything and couldn't even cash us out. There was no one behind the counter until we yelled for someone. The dude who didn't know what to do was friendly but yikes this was the worst Wendy's food we have ever eaten anywhere in the country and we are in our 50s!

Terrible. Just terrible. Should have read the reviews first. Came on a Sunday morning at 9 :00 for breakfast. Nobody there at all. Still took over 25 minutes to order and get the food. Then one off the sandwiches was wrong.

I ordered on the app, I ordered a BMT and a Philly. this BMT wasn’t supposed to have sauce, and there were supposed to be a LOT of veggies. Got none of it. They switched the sauces from the Philly and put it on the BMT, and gave us barely any veggies. I’ll be going back tomorrow with my receipt and photos to make sure I get a free order. Ruined me and my room mates dinner. For anyone using the app, only use it when you’re in the store and can watch the employees make it. I payed $27 for 2 footlongs and got mixed up crap I barely want to eat.

I place large orders now and then to feed my staff, this time the woman working was very rude, she freaked out because a large order came in, she even locked the door, locking customers in the store! I told her I was here for my order, she told me it wasn’t even half way done so politely said, that’s fine, I’ll just hang out. They helped the other customers, which was fine, I was willing to wait, but when the order was done, she just put it on the pickup shelf and gave me a dirty look. I wanted to confirm it was my order, so I asked her, “is that my order, is it done?” She said, rudely, “all completed orders are on the shelf”. I understand large orders can be stressful around lunchtime, but this person needs better customer service training. The man was kind so I left them a 20% cash tip, something I do regularly, but unfortunately I will be placing my orders at the other location in town moving forward.

Standard Subway restaurant offering. We were very let down by how many things were out of stock, such as teriyaki chicken. I tried the chicken garlic wrap, which sounds great on paper but was disgusting. I'm pretty sure I've not tasted chicken like that before, so one to avoid.

We were getting a sub for our train ride yesterday. The employee wasn't personable or welcoming. We were the only customers there. When we ordered, we mentioned mayo and brown spicy mustard . She said, 'we will get to that down there'. We wanted the condiments on the bread, not on top. She then starts rushing the order, again, we are the only customers there. She puts mayo and yellow mustard on the bread. We try to stop her and she said they didn't have that mustard. Then why not ASK if we still want mustard? Or if we want the honey mustard? We asked for chopped tomatoes(our subway does this) and she said 'we only have sliced', I guess a knife doesn't exist. We then asked for a plastic bag (our location only has this) and she said, 'we only have paper', Just give me a bag. Then the register didn't want to work, offline. She told us to just go. We offered to come back later in the day- we had to get to the train. We waited and she ended up getting it to work and we were able to pay. I know I said our subway does/has certain things. I guess we expected the same type of service and with a pleasant attitude when one works with the public. We felt like we were bothering her. I told her I hope her day gets better. We will not go back in the future.

Place was very loud hard to hear. And they dont show you when they put meat on the sandwich. Also . They like to argue with you when they get your sandwich wrong. And are rude when you decide not to tip. I dont recommend this place.

I ordered a steak bowl and they didn’t give me any steak at all and no sour cream, the rice was hard and it was just empty. It is the most pathetic meal I have ever had. We weren’t full afterwards at all afterwards. Also when we called no one answered the phone

Absolute worst taco bell in the history of taco bell. *EVERY TIME* we order it takes 20-30 minutes for our order regardless of if we order ahead with the app or not. Today was the last straw. We ordered meals for four people, one was completely missing and one was supposed to be a cantina bowl. I received a *teeny* plate of rice, refried beans, and lettuce. No guacamole, sauce, pico de gallo, sour cream, black beans, or cheese. When I returned 15 minutes later I sat it a three car line for 30 minutes trying to get to the front, only to be told their computers are down (the lobby itself was locked), they are out of most of these ingredients and couldn't help me.

When I pulled up the location on navigation and saw only a 3-star rating, I knew I might be in trouble — and unfortunately my experience confirmed it. I’m disappointed to say this may have been my last visit to Taco Bell. Having once worked there myself, it’s disheartening to see how far the experience has slipped. Last night the drive-thru line moved so slowly that I turned my car off while waiting. When I finally reached the speaker, the employee taking orders explained it was only her second day. I don’t fault her — but it’s poor management to put a new hire in that position without proper support. I also paid extra for meat and sour cream on each item, but the portions were minimal at best. If that was “extra,” I can’t imagine what a regular portion looks like. Paying more and receiving less is extremely frustrating. Does this photo look like extra? I sincerely hope management will invest in better staff training and ensure that add-on requests are honored so future customers have a better experience.

I went to pick up my online order, but it wasn’t at the counter in the store, and I had to wait an extra 10 minutes. When I got my food it was messed up. No queso cheese and only meat plus I paid extra for sour cream and barely got any. I also had to ask for my drink because they didn’t provide it to me when I went to go pick it up. I’ve seen better service at McDonalds and other fast food places around Durango! 10/10 would definitely not go again smh

Dude, give it up already and shut down! My daughter and I went here for 1 last fast food outing because we're done with fast food, this is what she wanted. We waited in the drive thru for the typical 30 minutes. It wasn't that busy, and the parking lot was bare. The most annoying part was 3 tacos had about a 1/3 of the usual meat, a half a pinch of lettuce and no cheese. The 1 bean burrito was mostly tortilla, barley had anything in it. It was also cold! The 2 cheese sauce cups were only a 1/3 full, but hey we got 2 full bags of chips. The drinks should of been ready before getting to the window and they weren't. They also didn't have the midnight Baja blast. No apologies, but they handed me 6 free taco coupons, yeah not going back ever for maybe reasons! I'm starting to think the dude who owned the Taco Bell in Pagosa Springs took over this one, because it is just as bad as that one was. This was definitely the worst visit to date and there's been some really bad visits in the 22 years I've lived here.

I like Taco bell. So when I was passing through Durango CO, I was happy to pick up some food. Sorry I did. My crispy Taco was in pieces and the soggy shell actually stuck to the wrapper, it was terrible. My cheesy gortita was cold with very little cheese. I also ordered the 5 layer beef burrito, what I got was a lot of tortilla with who knows what inside. All three of these items were also cold. This Taco Bell needs some serious training

Overall, shitty service. They took too long to deliver the food. It arrived Cold. The drinks were missing, the sauces missing, napkins and straws. The chalupas were slapped together the lettuce and cream all over the chalupa and wrapper. They were hard as a damn rock. The nachos were stale. The cheese cups almost empty. The tacos were soggy and the burritos omg squished as thin as a damn phone They didnt even look like burritos and were cold and disgusting. Overall shitty. Go somewhere else. Taco bell needs to do better. Their delivery sucks the driver didnt care that the order was wrong and didnt even bother to assist us in what to do about the missing items and shitty service.

Dirty location, every table was dirty. We had to clean a table before we could use it. The drink area as you can see is a complete mess. Chicken sandwich was cold, fries were undercooked, unserved and cold! Employees are out in the parking painting lines instead of helping customers place orders and server it warm. Since my last review, it’s been a better experience here. Still have a grumpy woman server that has no personable experience. I’m no snob, I’m poor. But no matter where I’ve worked or how bad I felt, I’ve always given the extra effort to give customers a good time. Still not seeing that from here. The guy is alright. But still not a lot of effort. I’ve worked everywhere from fast food restaurants to grocery stores and it’s NOT that hard to put some effort into adding a little charming charisma.

I have never been treated so badly at a Burger King or any other fast food restaurant for that matter! The employee in the drive-through was not only unfriendly while she was taking my order over the speaker, but when I pulled up to the window, she was still unfriendly. Then, because I was confused as to where I was supposed to wait for my food and backed up to ask her, with NO other vehicles nearby, she literally yelled at me. You read that right, she yelled at me! I don’t know if she gave me the correct name, but when I asked for her name, she said her name is D. Even worse, they got our order wrong. Hopefully you don’t go to this restaurant!

Someone get Gordon Ramsay this chicken is RAW and I ate far too much of it. Called and they offered me a replacement- nope, I'm done trusting! I just want to make sure people don't get ill from eating at BK

Picked up my food and came home after driving for 25 minutes to find out I’ve got the wrong order - a burger doused in Jalapeño’s. I call and let them know and my only option to get a refund is to drive back 25 minutes to get my money back with the uneaten food. If Burger King screws up - you pay for it; not them. No reproductions for their service on their end - just yours. Make sure you check pull out your food from the wrapper and check they actually did their job - or else you’re going to pay. The new melts... aren't melts. Even their promotional material shows that the cheese isn't even melted. Cold cheese and median temperature meat = not a melt. I'll attach a picture of the melt they promote... There wasn't a whole lot of people when we came into the store. So we were able to get our food very quickly. It was hot, fresh, and very good. The team members here were awfully nice. The indoor play place is extremely fun for kids… But it doesn't have a heater in there, so make sure and bring your coats!

Stopped in person to place my order and wait. I was told it would be 30-45 min for my pizza( they were busy) I agreed to wait. No issues( they actually got my pizza out earlier than expected)During the time waiting -two staff called in for the night so they were working short. The delivery fellas were busy stocking and updating orders-great teamwork! I was a bit surprised no one washed their hands or was wearing hair nets - maybe that’s not a thing these days? I will say our pizza was delicious- and we’ll be back-but I do hope you’ll consider wearing gloves 😉

Look, the food was fine. Whatever. But the service? A joke. We waited an hour and a half with zero updates. Not even a “Hey, we’re running behind.” Nothing. So I finally called the store like, “Should I just come pick it up?”—trying to be understanding because hey, stuff happens. The person on the phone sounded like I ruined their day just by calling. All I got was a super annoyed “Yeah, come pick it up,” followed by them hanging up on me. So I go in, the place is completely empty, and I still end up standing there for 20 minutes while my food is just sitting on the rack—fully ready. Not one employee asked me anything. No “Are you picking something up?” No eye contact. Nothing. It seriously would’ve taken two seconds to say, “Who are you here for?” and hand it over. I also work in a high demand environment, and so I know what it is like to be super busy, but we are always able to at least acknowledge someone who walks in. Instead, I stood there like a ghost in broad daylight while my food went cold. Domino’s, do better.

This place takes HOURS to prepare and deliver your order. It happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. It will say "30 minutes" for preparation and delivery, but hours later, your order still wont ever arrive. And when you call to check in on it, they just don't answer. I would save yourself some time and order from the other location.

I put my order in at 1pm, was told it would be 14-24 minutes. At 130 they still hadn't started it. I had to go back to work. I asked them for a refund and the little punk working their didn't give the refund. I payed for food I didn't receive. I work nearby and usually eat there once or twice a week. They just lost me as a customer

Today (9/28/24) I ordered a foot long cony with onions, 5 piece chicken tender meal, 2 bacon burgers and a medium mozzarella sticks. There was no onions on the cony, the fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting for a while, I only received 3/5 of my chicken tenders and the cheese in my Mozzarella were cold and the breading tasted almost tacky and old. The service was very fast but I would prefer fresh food and my order correct than such quick service. I also asked for my Receipt and my server never came back out to give me my receipt.

It's great to get a cold, sweet treat on a hot day. They have swag cups (dog cups) for ice cream, and it's not too expensive. Most of what sonic has to offer is pretty tasty. It's a good spot.

Worst service of any Sonic or fast food places really anywhere. Five workers and no one taking orders at drive ins. I decided to go through the drive-through after a few vehicles went through. Finally got service, and they still got my order wrong than forgot my drink until having to remind them.

I ordered a cherry limeade from Sonic but they gave me a strawberry limeade which I'm highly allergic to strawberries, very disappointed on how they are becoming the guy who took my order was a native American with black hair slicked to the side and black nails. I get it your job gets rough but that's what you signed up for and to hear him complain to the blonde chick about customers coming in at 6:00pm on the dot. Very disappointing. I would love too speak with a manger when I do get a change with this. Thanks bro for throwing the drink together and not listening.

Holy cats, the Manager, Schneider, made our whole night. He was super accommodating and helpful and SO patient thru a silly credit card shenanigan - outstanding service!

worst sonic ever. asked for a large chicken bite combo, and they charged me separately for the bites and drink and gave me no fries. charged me the same amount for a combo, and got to fries. also dirty af in there

Couple times a week I get a breakfast burrito and I gotta say there’s a guy at the window named Donny that is always 100% positive, happy, exuberant, fired up and I cannot help but appreciate and enjoy his attitude. Keep it up dude!!!

Burrito was mostly tortilla, had very little carne asada in it and it was REALLY small. Got 3 super nachos which were also irritatingly skimpy. The little meat that was on them was burnt on one side and other toppings were minimal…nearly plain chips aside from sour cream. Not our first visit so we were super disappointed and surprised at what we received tonight.

If you love beef jerky, then you’ll love the carne asada they serve here. I got the Arizona burrito and it was the driest beef I’ve had in the four corners. I ate most of it considering the price. 15$ for a beef jerky burrito with old brown fries. I DO NOT recommend this place. It’s sad cuz it’s in a great location but I think that’s why they can get away with sub par food. Oh well….

Friendly folks, quick service, hot and fresh food. Expansive, traditional salsa bar. The special of the day (beef chimichanga) was delicious! Refried beans have just an enough flavor to be distinctly better. I will happily come back.

This place is beyond disgusting. Nothing on the menu is worth the price. I think I got Rico canned cheese as there “cheese sauce”. Writing “cheese sauce” on a Mexican restaurant menu says enough honestly.

Wow. Horrendous. This may be the worst food I've ever had in a restaurant. It was so bad it was almost comical, I've been laughing about it since I left. I honestly didn't know you could mess up a taco, but they did. My friend ordered an enchilada but didn't even attempt to eat it. Served on styrofoam, really? One star because at least the water was cold!

It just tasted like fast mexican food. It wasn't all that great, greasy and the tables were really gross and sticky. I'll consider a different place next time

I ordered the fish tacos and a drink came out to be $18! It was definitely not worth it! The fish was not fresh, and I was not satisfied at all

I ordered this morning which included a chicken and roasted pepper wrap. They almost forgot it which wasn’t the problem at all. They gave me the missing bag and I left. Instead of my wrap which is about $6.50 I got a burnt croissant which is not even $5. But I can’t eat it because it’s literally black. I’m just upset I wasted $6.50. The coffees and donuts were great, no complaints there at all! I’ve attached my order and pictures of what I received.

Consistently bad. Not sure if they are told not to use a normal amount of glaze but the donuts are always a joke. Usually taste like they were made a day or two ago.

We went trough thr drivethrough in the early afternoon. We ordered two chocolate covered donuts. When we got to the window the manager told us that he was giving us chocolate covered chocolate donuts as they were out of the other. The manager was a very nice guy and is a real people person. Our three rating is based on the fact that the Duncan Donut is more like a heavy hard cake. We prefer a light soft donut. Not Duncan's fault as that is their formula.

After a very horrible experience on Oct 15th 2025, I got a call back from an area manager Violet Warddell. She was so amazing, and went above and beyond to make the situation right. I have come to learn Dunkin in Durango is recently under new ownership and it really appears the are doing there due diligence to turn this location around and give us the Dunkin we deserve.

My friend and I went to Dunkin for some coffees and avocado toast this morning. The lady handed us the food and upon opening it I seen the avocado toast was not in fact toast but just plain bread with stuff on top. We asked her if it was supposed to be toasted and she said no shut the door and walked away. When the next lady came out we asked I’m sorry to bother but is this supposed to be toasted and she rudely says welp yea. We said these ones are not and she was very short and rude saying well I guess I can remake it for you. We pulled to the second window and waited and the first employee rudely brought it out and when opening we find they didn’t put the everything bagel seasoning on, very very thinly applied avocado spread and hardly any bacon at all, and it tasted terrible. Not the same flavor as they are supposed to be at all. The coffee was great but the service and the food were terrible. Both employees had a terrible attitude and a very rude demeanor. I’m not one to usually complain but the service was so bad and the food too. I will not return to this place due to these two employees.

I will never go back to this Dunkin. I placed an order and from start to finish it took nine minutes.(There is no one in front of me either.) I understand they are short on inventory as they supposedly hadn’t received a truck. They were out of oat milk, they were out of large cups so they had to split my large latte and 2 cups, and they were out of everything mini bagels. And those are just the sold out items that affected my order. The thing that did me over the most is that they took nine minutes to complete my order yet when I received my egg bites they were not heated up. In fact they were cold as if they had just been taken out of the fridge. They each had a giant hole in the middle like they both been stabbed. I decided to go in to speak to the manager and she gave me serious attitude and could not have been bothered by my concern. This business is operated so poorly, and I refuse to give my money to any Dunkin moving forward as this is a reflection of the franchise as a whole.
