The ice cream here is unreal, they nail every flavour like you are eating the direct food. Must try! I had the Ferraro Roche and it’s some of the best flavours I’ve ever had that taste true to what it was

Great spot to get dinner and watch the sunset. Would get: pork belly and shrimp dishes, also loved the chocolate mousse for dessert. Didn’t love the cocktails but plenty of drink options beyond that.

Our all time favorite restaurant in Milos! We were lucky enough to stay across the road from OKTO on our trip and visiting became a staple in our Milos routine. Morning freddo espressos (you can get them takeaway too for the beach!), breakfast with the best eggs and orange juice we’ve had, and of course sunset dinners. This is the only restaurant we repeat visited in the course of our trip. Had to have the Moussaka and OKTO Greek Salad more than once but everything on the menu was delicious. Amazing wine selection and Aperol Spritzes too. You MUST go for sunset. Also shout out to the team, Loutis, Jo, Marianna and Chef Nikos made us feel so at home. Even the nights we didn’t eat there we stopped by to say hi. So grateful for them and an absolute must for your trip to Milos!

Really good food and one of the top sunset views on the island. The best tables are on the balcony, I'd recommend making an earlier reservation sine folks will stay at their table until the sunset. We visited in late May and were able to make a reservation a few hours before. The servers were all very attentive, helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable and the food is high quality. We ordered the fried bread, shrimp tartar (awesome flavor), octopus (well cooked and lots of flavor with the fava bean puree), shrimp with pearled cous cous (perfectly cooked shrimps) and a panna cotta dessert (loved the take on it with the marmalade and lime zest, but could have used a little more crumble on top). We also had two half liters of wine that were served in gorgeous little bottles. Total was around 120 for two people (2 apps, 2 mains, dessert and 2 carafes of wine).

We had a truly memorable evening at Okto in Milos not just because of the food (which was wonderful), but because of the atmosphere and the warmth of the people. We also made a new friend: Nikos, who added charm and genuine hospitality to our experience. It felt like we were welcomed into someone’s home, not just a restaurant. We’ll be back. 💛

📝 Good restaurant on Milos island with nice location. 🍴 We tried the grilled octopus and moussaka, both of which were very well done and can be recommended. 📍 It's located in Tripiti, only a couple minutes of driving distance from Plaka. It can be reached from a narrow street, hence I recommend to park your scooter or car higher up and then walk there. It shares the terrace with another restaurant. ☝🏼 If you wish to be seated in a front row, I recommend to book a table in advance.

Even the complimentary watermelon was poorly presented—small, uneven slices that felt like an afterthought rather than a gesture of hospitality. Seating is cramped, with tables packed so closely together it’s hard to have a private conversation or move comfortably. The atmosphere leans more toward a photo shoot than a dining experience—filled with loud, image-obsessed guests chasing the perfect Instagram post rather than enjoying their meal. Overall, it’s an overrated spot trading solely on its view. There are far better places on the island that offer both ambiance and quality food—without the pretension.

Found Egoist whilst waiting for our morning ferry to arrive. The Greek yogurt honey walnut power bowl was delicious. The continental breakfast was good but basic. Coffee was ok but have had better. Overall it’s not a bad place to sit and wait for a ferry and have a bite to eat.

you must try the cocktail milo’s oasis! Staff were really friendly. The chocolate crepe was amazing. It’s kinda expensive but they have a good selection of items in the menu. We enjoyed a lot our time in there.

Came here for happy hour on the first night and got pink aperols. Divine and cheap for 7€. Came back 2 nights later to get happy hour again and food. Drinks AMAZING, food absolutely divine- highly recommend the lemon chicken pasta (yum and fresh). Greek mojito is also just as nice. The service is sublime, the staff are kind and attentive- if you’re looking for a satisfying meal or drink fix, this is the place!

Amazing cakes - the orange square cake that's a orange version of a lemonopeta is next level. The service is polite but chaotic, there is no que and few tables of things scattered around, if this could be addressed it would greatly improve the experience. UPDATE! Ive been in Milos for 3 days and been here 3 times, new fave is the rice pudding !!

This place has the best ambiance- classic Greek and luxurious. We had the portokalopita (orange pie) with gelato which was out of this world. I had a freshly squeezed orange juice which hit the spot along with the zucchini pie which I personally loved because it was savory and perfectly salted. The service was lovely too. I really want to go back!!

We had delicious pistachio and Dubai chocolate gelato here and took baklava on 4 separate visits to this spot. Can’t recommend all the sweets here enough, and as long as you convey what you want, the service is kind and helpful. This is my husband’s favorite baklava EVER.

Cactus Cafe Bar is located in the picturesque little village of Pollonia on Millos. It is a great spot to sit back and relax over a cold drink, coffee or cocktail. It provides a wonderful view of beach and its surrounds. The charming Mirena will take good care of you and provide tips on what to see and do in Pollonia. You can also get some light meals and according to my wife on of the best Tommy’s Margaritas in the Cyclades. I highly recommend dropping into the Cactus Café Bar and say Hi to Mirena and enjoy the vista overlooking Pollonia.

Beautiful view from the restaurant overlooking the bay. The owner makes delicious drinks, some classics and some specialty cocktails. We tried multiple drinks and enjoyed all of them. We did not try the food. The owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations for places to go in Milos and places to go in Athens.

The couple who run the place are fun, helpful, and kindhearted. Great drinks with a lovely view as well!

We had a delicious breakfast with amazing service by a lovely young brunette woman (I can’t believe we didn’t catch your name- sorry!) and she was very helpful catering to me and mum being celiac (gluten free). We went back again the next day for cocktails and the amazing view. Best espresso martini I’ve ever had! Lastly, we had the same server who gave us so many recommendations for Athens as she lives there in the winter. Such amazing service and experience! Give this girl a raise!!

Went here with my one year old baby and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. The restaurant was quiet in the afternoon so there was no reservation needed. Good takeaway gyros shop right in town. big portions and fresh fillings. Their chips are AMAZING. Hand cut and seasoned perfectly. Veggie options include falafel and a vegetable patty gyros. Falafel lacked some flavour but the vegetable patty was great. Reasonable pricing around 5-6€. Service is good. Seating options minimal.

Food came out quickly even though the place was busy, which always earns points. Atmosphere (4/5): Busy and energetic, right by the port, which makes it a convenient and fun stop. Note there is the Yankos gyros take away place and then an actual Yankos sit down restaurant- we ate at the restaurant and it did not disappoint. We stumbled upon Yankos hungry after a morning boat tour, in a prime location by the port and were quickly seated for a lunch service. We ordered the mixed grill for 2 and were advised it would be a 20 minute wait- a good sign of the freshness of what was to come. After enjoying a cold mythos beer the mixed grill arrived and we couldn’t believe our eyes. The mixed grill was a huge portion with a wide range of different meats, pita, chips, veggies and sauce. The waiter smiled and wished us good luck with finishing the plate. We struggled to finish everything and were very satisfied with the meal. The only thing we would recommend is ordering / asking for more tzatziki as the sauces provided don’t go very far with making your own pita gyros on the plate. Would recommend visiting for an authentic Greek restaurant that serves the classics in a perfect location.

Cheap and delicious gyros that were very well portioned. We had both a chicken and pork gyros both equally delicious with homemade chips inside. You can’t go wrong and for the price was an absolute win! We also got the Greek salad the feta was super creamy and yum! Will be going back!

Incredible experience. So good we came back the next night for an encore. Highly recommend coming in the evening for the sunset 1 block away on the benches and dinner at Rakomelo afterwards. The mixed mezze plate was great, of which the anchovies were the highlight (coming from someone who does not like anchovies). The chicken is absurdly juicy and tasty and the pastas and fish were also great. Can’t go wrong here.

They have seats indoor and by the sea. Good food and good view. But the local wine is not the best, it has a bitter and medicine taste. Try to avoid that if you don’t like bitterness.

This was the best breakfast we have had in Greece so far. We had 2 different omelettes, the yogurt bowl, smoothie, and coffees. The staff were the friendliest! Now we are just searching for another place as good on the other islands..

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! We went to this place 4 times in 4 days while we were in milos due to how amazing the food was and how great the owner spiros is! I had the gyros and had 2 types of pizza and the food is always fresh and delicious. Everyone there is super inviting and friendly, you won’t be disappointed! Such an amazing experience!! Great atmosphere and very friendly inviting staff. I had the prosciutto pizza and it was very filling and my friends had the gyros and they were both fantastic. I think the highlight was the melon pornstar martini’s , they were affordable strong yet so so good . I think it was honestly one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had !!

The best place to eat in Milos! If you’re gluten free, the gyros without the pita is to die for. I am a celiac and ate at this place 4 times because it was so delicious and didn’t make me sick! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Kokkino is such a gem! We had a wonderful breakfast here—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The coffee was perfect, and the local flavors made it a true Greek morning experience. The staff are very friendly and made us feel right at home.

Such a cool and nice vibe for the island. My wife and ai went here after dinner and we had the perfect night staring at the stars and the water while having a cocktail. All of the artwork is also made by Evita! Everyone was amazing here.

We fell into this little gem of a bar walking back to our hotel. We had no idea what it was until we walked all the way in. It is a LOVELY place for an evening cocktail to watch the sunset and moon rise over the Pollonia Bay. The music was low and soothing and I just can't say enough about it. We only had cocktails, but the food coming out smelled GREAT! The owners are just sweet wonderful people. If you are in Pollonia and want a nice way to end your day...I HIGHLY recommend stopping by. I've been drinking Freddo cappuccinos everywhere we go on our Greek Island vacation and this place makes them the best. They also make a fantastic Mojito and the patio is very nice

Hidden gem in Pollonia! Perfect for breakfast with a great view. We went every morning that we stayed in the village. They have omelettes and great coffee, perfect to start the day away from crowds and a breathtaking view of Milos bay.

HIDDEN GEM within Pollonia. With views overlooking the bay and port of Pollonia this cafe & bar is the ultimate hangout. Hidden away between accommodation it has such a relaxing vibe and in the few times I have visited it’s never been packed. Great drinks and snacks menu. Fantastic alcohol selection too. Great place drink cocktails and stare into the Aegean Sea. Totally recommend!

Very nice view and very good service. They were super nice but the cocktails are not good at all… when u charge 14€ (at least) for a cocktail, it must be average at minimum. They were tasteless/ without alcohol (felt like a mocktail). Would recommend this place but only to drink beer or coffee maybe, definitely not a cocktail…

We'd popped in to grab a coffee to go one morning and saw what a neat oceanfront little place it was. They told us this time of year the kitchen closes at 6pm but they still serve pizza later. The pizza absolutely did not disappoint! It was so good we ordered a third! We noticed and particular type of vodka we can't get in the States so we started talking to the owner about it and ended up sharing another round and talking for a while longer. She was so personable and a great way to end our last night on Milos!

Had the worst experience in a coffee shop in Greece , the 2 staff members looked like they didn’t want to work and there attitude towards customers was disgraceful. There coffee and sandwiches I purchased was disgusting , tasted stale and the coffee was not made to what I asked for .When I went back to tell them about my coffee they looked at each other and swore in greek how ever unfortunately for them I understood what they said. The place I can’t even call a Coffee shop needs barista and customer service training . For them there business relys on us tourist for only 6 months of the year and they could not be bothered .

Café Aragosta was close to our hotel in Milos, so we visited it every morning for a small breakfast. It also has quite a neat outdoor area. The selection of coffee and other drinks is good. They have also sandwiches with different toppings, typical Greek pastries, and various other snacks such as granola bars. It would be nice if there was a larger selection of vegetarian Sandwiches. The staff was neither noticeably friendly nor unfriendly, but rather neutral. The prices are good and reasonable for what you get. All in all nothing special. For anyone staying nearby, it is a good and quick option for breakfast. However, from our point of view, there seem to be many comparable cafes in the city.

This was exactly what we were seeking, a real Greek taverna in the only town on the island with a true Greek atmosphere away from the tourists. The food was excellent but the only comment we could make was that the waitress appeared disinterested on our first visit, but on subsequent visits she was much more friendly..

I ordered grilled octopus for dinner, turned out to be the worst food I ever had in Greece. The octopus is not fresh, and to make the matter worse, it is overly grilled, hard to cut even with a knife. I complained to the waitress and changed the food to grilled sausage with fries. The grilled sausage is fine, the fries are below the average I had elsewhere, they are overly greesy. Locals are smoking freely inside the restaurant all the time, if you are a non-smoker, think twice before going there.

Personally I loved the restaurant. My partner and I shared the moussaka, dako salad and cheese pies. It was full of locals every time we went there (and yes, they were smoking, so we sat outside) and the food was home-cooked, delicious and fairly priced. Super recommend.

This authentic Greek taverna is attended by locals and has a beautiful Greek playlist. We tried the Greek salad, the fava, and the gyros. The food was good, especially the fava and the pita, but the salad was not the best part of our trip. Portions were generous—prices were on the average of Milos. I recommend going to this place for one dinner.

Το Στερνάκι is an absolute must-visit taverna — full of charm and delicious, authentic food. We had the spicy burger with yogurt sauce, split pea, some toasted bread, fried eggplant, and fried cod…one word: AMAZING. Service was great and felt like a genuine place to eat. We arrived during the end of the winter season (March/April) and not many places were open. We decided to try this place and were Wowed by it. Highly recommended!

We wanted to dine here because of the big number of locals we saw sitting outside while passing by with the car, and we were right. Homemade genuine cuisine that tastes just great and the staff is super friendly too! We mostly tried out dishes from the appetizers selection, and they were just amazing. Walked in thinking they had ice cream, don't let the name fool you. They have vanilla and chocolate soft serve. Gal behind the counter would barely give us the time of day, let alone the two flavor choices they had. This place is a coffee shop above all else. Maybe it was just a bad moment for her...I won't be back to find out.

This is a proper tourist trap, I don’t understand how it got such a good rating. High prices, bad service and poor quality. For instance the avocado cream is just from the supermarket, you get served crisps from a bag, and the coffee is bad. We had some questions about whether the dishes contained milk and the staff clearly got annoyed and we got a “I don’t know”. The dishes are served with plastic cutlery and on unpractical cardboard plates and you have to sit on some uncomfortable chairs outside. There’s nothing Greek about this place apart from the people working there. I guess it tries to come an across as a hipster place but the difference is that most hipster places have good quality products. You should rather go to some of the many places with great quality.

Great spot opens early on a quiet street in Milos. Right below a church with nice views of the bay. The croque madame is 100% with the wait. Don't forget the egg! And absolutely delicious greek coffee and cappuccinos!

Absolutely delicious freddo cappuccino and omelette. So fresh and fluffy! Great service too.

Amazing (and well priced!) yoghurt bowls. Bathroom was clean and even had menstrual products and baby wipes.

Take your coffee in the morning and sit in the square close to Okto restaurant. A nice view and quite place (7AM) for starting the day! 😁

Best ice cream I had in Greece. About €3.3 per scoop (but the servings are very generous). Really good coffee too. Excellent and friendly service. Right next to lookout and sunset views. Get on down.

Came after lunch, not friendly at all, lack of afternoon bake goods for a café. Also, only dairy milk is available in case you are lactose intolerant.

Dropped in for a quick Hawaiian pizza and it was really good , super fresh would come here again and try everything else on the menu! Super nice staff aswell thankyou :)

We stopped in to this local cafe to get a few drinks while we walked through the Plaka. The service is good. We got a variety of drinks, protein shakes, and coffee. All of the items were very good and served up quickly. They have a nice sitting area that is covered. There is also free public parking around the corner that makes this a very easy spot access.

The best freddo cappuccino in Greece!!! The coffee was amazing every time, and I visited 3-4 times in one week.

Cute coffee shop in Plaka. Serves variety of specialty coffee's and bake goods. Also sells bags of ground coffee. We had both hot and cold coffees. Both were excellent.

Amazing coffee shop! They have a great selection of options, and lots of lovely sweet and savoury pastries. Prices are also very good and the owners are legends! You can also buy your own coffee beans here. Been in Milos for a week and have come here every day since the first (sometimes twice a day). I’d say the best coffee in Milos easily (some of the best I’ve had full stop anywhere in the world). If you want a really nice change from your regular latte or flat white get a Freddo cappuccino. Having said that the iced Latte here is unreal! Highly recommended!
