One of the best places I have been to in Chios for delicious breakfast and lunch dishes! The staff is incredibly polite, the service is fast and the cafe is such a cute space for anytime of the day! It’s also conveniently located right beside the Chios airport with plenty of parking spaces in the back or front of the cafe. We are definitely coming back!

One of the best cafes in Chios is located near the airport. This is a nicely decorated coffee shop with some nice items on offer. We really liked the omelettes and the brioche sandwich, although the sandwich is a bit small if you are hungry. The tea is amazing. We love it. They have a variety of freshly brewed options. Make sure you go there for a good cup of coffee, tea or breakfast. Oh and you can have wine too:)

This cafe has a wonderful selection of food and drink. The cheese plate was outstanding and went with the Chios Beer perfectly. The chicken club sandwich was fresh and prepared to perfection. The staff could not be more helpful, and the service was truly superb. You can walk with your bags to the Chios Airport from this Cafe.

We had breakfast here twice during our holiday and really enjoyed it. We tried the pastries with cream, cheese, and spinach, as well as the loukoumades with cinnamon, powdered sugar, and honey. I highly recommend the cheese and cream pastries, one is savory and the other sweet, so you can enjoy both flavors at the same time. The place is usually crowded, but if you wait a little, you can always find a free table. Overall, the experience was good; only one waitress seemed a bit grumpy, which was slightly unpleasant, but everything else was fine.

It is very near to the port and it has a great architecture. I tried Lokma and ice cream with mastic flavour. It was delicious. The prices are reasonable. I really liked the menu in Turkish language, thanks for that.

We were really looking forward to trying Icing Sugar and Cinnamon, but the service was very disappointing. We waited outside for 15 minutes hoping for a table, clearly standing in front of the place and even greeted the waitresses when we arrived. One customer eventually left, and we assumed we could finally sit. However, an older man came and took the table, even though we told him we had been waiting. What was most frustrating was that the two waitresses (both young women) were completely unaware of what was happening or worse, they chose to ignore it. When we explained that we had been waiting and had said hi when we arrived, they claimed they hadn’t seen us. This felt dishonest, especially since we were standing right there the whole time, in plain sight. It’s disappointing when a place doesn’t manage its seating properly or respect waiting customers. The lack of awareness and accountability really spoiled the experience for us. We decided to leave without eating.

We tried main way burger and oswaldo pizza. Burger is more than standard comparing others in island. Potato also was good. Pizza average. Service was good, crew was very friendly. We were informed about meat (pork/beef)

We went there three times during our 4 days stay! They are busy, but there is always place available. We went for for a beer (they had a nice selection of local beer and wine), then for late night snacks and drinks and for breakfast. As a Canadian living In Turkiye, I was so happy to see that on their brunch they had eggs Benedict! They were excellent.

Great place for drinks, excellent view of the Port of Chios. Ships sail right by. Usually the atmosphere is good and they play good music. Just don't expect fast service and good drinks. We have stopped ordering cocktails there as there is no consistency. You can order the exact same cocktail 5 times and get 5 different flavors, so we only order beer or bottles of wine there. Also because the service is so slow the beer is warm by the time it comes to your table. At the end of the day it's still one of the better places on the port of Chios because of the nice view. If it didn't have the nice view there's absolutely no chance it would still be in business.

Terrible food,service and cocktails. Wait stuff and kitchen stuff are clueless. Authentic carbonara is not made with cream. They advertise it as authentic but far from it. They forgot 2 out of 3 main courses we ordered and nobody had a clue what was happening. Stay away. Plus is overpriced with mediocre food and drinks. Spend your hard earn money elsewhere. Too many other great choices in the island.

This place is way overrated. Every single item on the menu is overpriced. To make matters worse they bring you the smallest container or package made. One would think that they are serving gnomes or something. The service sucks big time. The wait staff do not know how to take an order or serve the order. I'll give it a half of a star for having a little bit different view of the harbor and the sea, actually I changed my mind, I will give it 1/4 of a star. It's a seasonal establishment that is only open in the summer months. While there is some parking near it is not enough more often than not people have hard time parking. Overall, like I said before, this place is over rated!

I got the saddest Club Sandwich i have ever seen if it could cry it would cry me a river. The beer Mammos 0,33 l for 6 Euros a joke and my water glass was broken. We waited 1 hour for the Sandwich my drink was empty nobody asked if wanted another one but for this price i wouldnt even ordered another one. The only nice thing was the view. After the Sandwich i had acid Reflexes from my stomach never again 👎

…very nice location, it could be really beautiful experience… but the service and stuff are not very professional… it is a shame…i went with my husband and our two babies, there was few tables that was still free..the “girl” who was in charge to find us place to sit was not professional at all, very arrogant! she suggested one table at the restaurant area, we agreed, as we wanted to have a dinner and few drinks…and just when i took a seat she came back that is reserved…without reservation mark on the table and she was very rude to my husband, she almost screamed to him that she is in charge for reservations..very disrespectful behaviour! Of course we left the place! very unprofessional, no respect to the customers!

Vupalu has a lot going for it—great location, a welcoming crowd, and a small but good menu with some interesting options. The coffee was decent, though not the kind that lingers in your memory. Service was on the slower side, but to their credit, they were upfront about wait times for certain dishes, like the side potatoes on the club sandwich which took a while, but at least we knew what to expect since the waiter let us know beforehand. My only real gripe? The tables are tiny—not the best for a relaxed coffee and a bite, or even a cocktail with a number of friends. Still, a solid spot if you're not in a rush.

Some plates of food were very nice and some were below average. Pancakes are very nice and Benedict were below average. We found hair in one of the food plates and when we informed the waiter they were not very polite about it and even told us the chef is different coloured hair (meaning it was our fault lol) service was slow as well.

IASMOS bar is definitely the best place on Chios Island. I've been here for three weeks and came here almost every night. here is why: 1. the view: from iasmos bar you have a perfect view over the ocean, which is especially recommendable during sundown and to watch the small boats crossing. when it is dark you can see the lights of surrounding villages and those over in Turkey, but also the clear starlit sky. 2. the drinks: there is a wide range of great cocktails and unlike a lot of other bars here they use quality liquor and juices - and they know what they are doing. I was quite surprised to find such a professional bar at this not-so-urban place. every drink is served with nuts and popcorn, potato chips or vegetables with salt and vinegar. also: hausbrandt coffee, drink it iced! 3. the music: I am allergic to places that play top hit radios or prefixed bar jazz playlists. the songs at iasmos are very well chosen: from Jazz to alternative, and even the Greek Nights are not as cheesy as you probably would suspect them to be. 4. the looks: iasmos bar has a great atmosphere, it is decorated very nicely - not traditionally greek but also not pushingly hip. there are small candles hanging in the trees, the colors of the chairs and tables are fresh but not aggressive, and everything blends in perfectly with the surrounding trees and plants. 5. the people: gogo and eleytheria are the perfect team, two young women that manage this bar in a very professional manner, but always with enough time to chat for a few minutes. 6. for people (like me) that get nervous without being online - they also have WIFI ;) Loved it!
