Alsancak Dostlar Fırını is a must-visit bakery in Izmir, offering a delectable selection of boyoz, an unleavened pastry that has become a symbol of the city.
Wanted to try the Boyoz, and I got so happy I did Many different fillings Tried one with spinach, one with mozzarella and spices, and one with chocolate All are delicious Highly Recommended
Joe D — Google review
Alsancak Dostlar Fırını is a must-visit bakery in İzmir! I tried their vegan boyoz options contain aubergine , artichoke, and aegean herbs, and they were absolutely delicious—flaky, flavorful, and fresh. The staff is friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try authentic and vegan-friendly pastries!
Yagmur I — Google review
Rate:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic spot for authentic Turkish breakfast! Their specialty, Boyoz, is simply amazing — perfectly crisp and flaky on the outside with delicious fillings inside. The flavors are rich yet balanced, and surprisingly well-suited to Asian taste preferences. Definitely worth a visit if you want to try a true local delicacy.
Edward D — Google review
The best and most famous boyoz shop in Izmir. They have a nice variety of boyoz. My favorite are pastirma, minced meat, and chocolate ones. The rest is ok but some of them have a little stuffing like the mozzarella cheese one which has a very little amount of cheese in it. Don’t forget to order their special kahvaltilik sauce and tulum cheese. Have a tea and enjoy 🫖
Karim S — Google review
Review of Dostlar Firini coffee shop Izmir tues 17 Dec 24 Had traditional Turkish tea Served variety of pies Always busy for fresh on the go pies or just a Turkish tea Seating inside and outside watching the crowd pass by Friendly staff
Biker R — Google review
The boyoz here is absolutely perfect – soft inside, crispy outside, and full of authentic Izmir flavor. If you’re in Alsancak, Dostlar Fırını is the best place to enjoy this local specialty. A must-try!
Ferhat Y — Google review
Very fast service, almost no waiting time. You have to list your order twice, once to eat and later to pay. There are 16 sorts of boyoz including sweet ones. The shop is well located on the most vibrant street on İzmir. Boyoz is the local defining food of izmir, structure like börek and is good for breakfast, brunch or even lunch.
Mohamed E — Google review
Inexpensive pastries that make for a nice breakfast. I had to wait in line for about three minutes. Among the flavors: spinach, spinach and cheese, mozzarella, chocolate. 50 Liras each as of August 2025, 25 liras for a cup of tea, 100 Litas for a limonata. You get the pastries at the counter. They bring the drinks to the table. Happy customer. 5 stars!

Proof Breakfast is a great place to have breakfast in Izmir. All the dishes are delicious, especially the English Breakfast and the fruit menu. If you love bacon, make sure to try the American breakfast!
Proof is an amazing breakfast place enjoyed by adults & kids absolutely 💯 adore it. The food is great prices are fare. The only issue is slow service other than that highly recommended.
Majd A — Google review
Tried Eggs Benedict… Actually a very good Mediterranean approach to my fave breakfast, however eggs Benedict should be served with 2 eggs and poached eggs should be easy done. This was served with only one and the egg was almost hard. My daughter had American Croissant and was pretty happy about it. Great effort, eggs Benedict better be improved:) Enjoy!
Gokalp S — Google review
The wait staff here is very energetic and friendly. The food is tasty and well presented, but somewhat overpriced. The atmosphere is festive, but only because the high spirited clientele make it so. All In all, a good place to come and have breakfast.
Alan S — Google review
I had one of the best breakfast at this restaurant in Izmir. It was delicious, the quantity was good and to my satisfaction The partially outdoor dining are was nice and comfortable. The staff were friendly. One of the things that can be appreciated was that this restaurant was a Non smoking restaurant. We were even requested to not smoke our Vapes. ( Quite different from most of the restaurants in Turkey) I cant quite remember how much the breakfast cost us, but I do remember that it was reasonable. Not too expensive, not cheap either. It was worth it.
Khalid A — Google review
Although we had to wait one hour to get inside, it was worth it. The food was so delicious and the staff were friendly. I can't wait to come back again.

Nice variety of options apart from the usual turkish kahvaltı spread. The pancakes with fruit is a favourite for the kids. Flavourful food. Recommended for the occasional treats. Good coffee would complete the place

Delicious breakfast. We ordered Chef's Table for two, a great and delicous combination of tastes for breakfast 🍳🔥❤️
Mikhaiela F — Google review
Rude staff, don’t speak English, don’t even try to provide good service. Once we wanted to have breakfast, asked about tables and there was a rude answer: NO. That’s all. They didn’t say anything except this No. Next time we ordered breakfast - one for me and one for my husband, I got mine, but my husband didn’t have the one he ordered. We decided to go and asked a bill, and we were surprised that there were 2 breakfast in this check - mine and his that he had never got. We said - we had eaten only one, they answered - ok, deleted this position and that’s all. No apologies, nothing. They don’t care. By the way - my breakfast wasn’t really good and seemed not so nice as in pictures. Don’t recommend 👎

When it comes to Turkish breakfasts though I’m a bit lost. As a typical Turkish breakfast usually includes cheese, olives, eggs, jam, spicy sausage, bread and a whole host of other little bits and pieces that you pick at and share with your loved ones. The service was friendly, recommended !

The best Turkish breakfast we have ever had as a family. There were 6 of us and they served us so well. The service was quick and the crew was so kind. Nehir is the sweetest server I have ever encountered. I wish all of them the best.

The prices are extremely high. I only wanted a serpme, while my friends wanted omelettes, but we were told that everyone would have to pay 850 TL. They also said my friends couldn’t share from my serpme. On top of that, the serpme alone was priced at 850 TL, which I found ridiculous. Other than that, the atmosphere was nice and I didn’t have any other issues. Thank you.
Aria Y — Google review
They’ve good quality of breakfast, place is cute and staff is very hospitable. The fried dough and fried phyllo pastries filled with cheese & roasted eggplants were delicious. We didn’t order any eggs cause we were already full.
Ayçin — Google review
The price per person for a traditional turkish breakfast was 750 TL! There are no other options, for example to share one amongst two or more people which is a complete rip off. To top it off, the building next to it was in construction so it was quite loud. I think the price is too much, especially considering the area. Do not recommend!

The attentive wait staff ensures quick service, allowing guests to enjoy their meal promptly. This was a great local food place. They have freshly, locally sourced food. The wait staff were good and the food came out pretty quickly. I was very happy eating here.

If you happen to be in or around this neighbourhood, you should visit Tereci definitely even of you do not want to eat because their shop have very many authentic and gourmet products that you can buy… Tereci is mainly a breakfast place and they have plenty of breakfast choices which you may choose from big variety of cheeses, eggs, salads, starters, pastries/boreks, finger-food, hams/sucuk, various cured meats etc which to me it means that menu has almost everything from local Turkish cuisine in a kind of local authentic taste logic… It might be good to enjoy some deserts as well as they have nice jams, pumpkin desert-kabak tatlisi, ekmek kadayifi etc. Nice place with a team/staff working hard and especially at the weekends very packed… People mainly like the breakfast style of Tereci.

Reyhan Patisserie is a beloved establishment in Izmir, renowned for its delectable sweet and savory baked goods. Visitors can indulge in a variety of treats including cakes, cookies, homemade chocolates, and the legendary Rokoko cake made with bitter chocolate, macaroon, and cream. The patisserie offers an array of desserts such as rich chocolate truffles and macarons.
It’s a neat place, I enjoyed the tea very much. The cake could be better! Prices usually range around 200 TL.
Kasra S — Google review
They have been deteriorating day by day. I used to endorse their products as the finest in town. My theory is that rising prices in the country have impacted them, forcing them to turn to cheaper suppliers, resulting in a decline in quality. My last four purchases left me disappointed. Given their loyal and affluent customer base, they must revert to their previous quality standards. Increasing prices to align with that quality would likely be acceptable to most of their customers. Otherwise, they risk going out of business within a couple of years.
Can P — Google review
The interior is nice, seating outside with heat lamps keep you warm during the cold … however both the coffee and the tea were below standards. The coffee was VERY overpriced yet tasted no different then instant coffee like Nescafé, very watery and very bad, the tea was very overpriced for what it is. Ordering is also a pain, you have to use your phone, scan a QR and after handing over your personal data you can then see the menu. I can not recommend this place, due to the very bad drinks.
Jake B — Google review
The desserts are beautiful. And that’s all. The one I ordered with cherry sauce was so so sweet, that I couldn’t eat it. Also I’ve ordered coffee but the waiter brought me cacao and insisted that it was the drink I’ve ordered but it didn’t even smell coffee.

The cakes are really tasty specially the Pearl cake filled with pineapple pieces and almond. But ice cream cakes were not good as I expected.

Horrible service. We were pushed to order with no time to check menu. And our order was messed up too. Wrong things and wrong number of items. Uncomfortable seating.
Nida Y — Google review
As usual...always good, fresh, clean, delicious. My only go to patisserie when it comes to quality tasty pastries. Never but never failed in my life. I just noticed that there are not many places that i can say that about. We had 3 early grey special Reyhan tea, 1 small size caramel cup (sandae), plate of mini tartlets (5 pcs), plate of choux(also 5 pcs) and I paid 160 try. Good price for the quality. Tarts and choux were so fresh and crispy. Place was busy and full as always. I've been going to this location since last month. I like it. I know all 3 locations. All good. But this and the one in Alsancak i like more....it might sound expensive but you really get what you pay for...go there

Definitely a high quality restaurant. All the food is tasty and looks premium. The pizza was really cheesy and looked great. The mushroom pasta with chicken was pretty amazing. Good portion size. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming Turkish breakfast!

It was awesome! We had a breakfast and everything was fresh and natural. The tea was unlimited, you pour your own tea from the samovar. We sat by the sea and scene was good. I really appreciate the service, they offered coffee after breakfast. We love “Pişi” in here.

Turkish breakfast menu with special hot dishes like the egg with qawirma . The place was nice and clean, the service was really fast we received the order quickly and everything was fresh. The options were not that much, i expect better! The prices were high and expensive comparing to the other restaurants in Izmir.

Friendly and kind staff, with very nice and tasty food. I enjoyed my omelette although a little soggy, and the ingredients maybe not the highest quality but generally tasty. The orange juice was fresh and tasty, nice views of the sea and good interior quality.

It is always too much for us to have the whole breakfast. We enjoyed paçanga börek (deep fried phyllo pastry with pastrami and tomato filling), eggs with kavurma and mıhlama (a regional meal of black sea region of Turkey, made primary with cornflour and lots of cheese).

Aktuğ Köy Kahvaltısı is a renowned breakfast spot located in the picturesque village of Cicekli, near Izmir. This charming eatery has gained popularity for its exceptional Turkish breakfast made with high-quality local produce. Visitors can indulge in a delightful morning meal amidst stunning natural surroundings and receive friendly service from the attentive staff. The restaurant's inviting ambiance makes it an ideal destination not only for breakfast but also for a memorable dining experience later in the day.
We had a great time. Had breakfast there, and stayed for dinner. Swapped tables and it felt like a whole new joint. it was lovely and the service was good. Had a lot of dramas with parking. Other than it was all good.

If you're looking for a nice breakfast in the middle of the mountains close to Izmir you should come to this village. Cicekli is a small village that made his reputation with dozen of restaurants specialised in traditional Turkish breakfast (kahvalti). There is a lot of choice of restaurant but this one is my favorite. The food they served is really amazing with good quality products from the local farms. The price is a little expensive for local (7 € / person) but you pay for the quality of the product and also the experience. One more information is how to reach the place regarding the fact it was difficult for me without a car to go there. If you want to use the public transportation you just need to go to the Evka 3 metro station and then there is dolmus that bring you directly to the village for 5 tl and it takes less then 15 minutes. To go back you also have dolmus every hour.
Benji W — Google review
I recently visited this breakfast place with a group of four, but unfortunately one of our party was unable to eat due to health reasons. We requested to order breakfast for three people, but the staff insisted that we order for four. As a result, we were left with many leftover items that went to waste. The breakfast was a mix of various items, and while the muhlama was delicious, the pişi “fried dough” was terrible - it was still doughy inside and not cooked well. Whenever we wanted to order blackberry juice, the staff would remind us annoyingly that it would be an additional charge, which we agreed to pay without issue. We also had to go looking for someone to bring us more bread as no staff were around to ask. The village atmosphere was nice and it was enjoyable to be surrounded by trees, but overall, I would not visit here again. I am giving a rating for the atmosphere, the kuymak, and the blackberry juice. Although we were not charged for some of the juices, the overall experience was not worth it. It's disappointing that they did not accommodate our request to order for three people, and the pişi was a big disappointment. I hope they can improve on these aspects to provide a better experience for their customers

(Translated by Google) A kofte restaurant that I've been going to with my family and friends since I was a child. It's one of the oldest restaurants in Kemeraltı and has been around for about 60 years. They have an open kitchen, so you can watch the preparation firsthand. It's a place that has maintained its quality for years—even the fat content and consistency of the kofte have always remained the same. Side dishes include bean salad (piyaz), yogurt in a stone pot, and bread. The yogurt is incredibly delicious. The kofte are served with onions and tomatoes. We had a double portion, which contains 20 kofte. That's a bit much for one person, as the regular portion of 10 kofte is already quite filling. The kofte were both perfectly grilled and juicy. The service is very fast, and the staff extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. If you want to eat kofte in Kemeraltı, this restaurant should be your first choice.

Artemis Coffee Art İzmir is a charming spot that perfectly blends history and ambiance, making it an ideal destination for coffee lovers. Nestled in the picturesque village of Sirince, surrounded by olive and fig trees, this café offers a delightful breakfast experience under the shade of a majestic 196-year-old pine tree. The interior design is thoughtfully curated, with every detail contributing to its inviting atmosphere. Guests can enjoy freshly brewed coffee alongside delectable desserts in a cozy setting that encourages lingering conversations.
I have recently visited Arthemis, and wow—this cafe is a hidden gem! Not only do they serve the most exquisite cheesecake and perfectly brewed coffee, but the ambiance is pure magic. The decor transports you to another era with breathtaking Roman-inspired paintings gracing the ceilings, walls, and yes, even the restroom! Every detail is crafted with such artistry; it feels like dining in a gallery. (Translated by Google) I always came across it in Explore, but since it was in a remote location, we only came across it on the road so we just went there. The ambiance is beautiful, it is attractive for those who like to take photos, it is spacious, the place is calm, the decor is really nice, the walls and ceilings are full. Since we are already enthusiasts of historical textures, we had a pleasant and relaxing time as a family. Self service is implemented. The venue, tables, WC are clean, but the service is lacking hygiene. The forks were placed directly on the tray, the trays were passed from hand to hand, the parts touching the ground were lifted up on top of each other. How hygienic surface can those trays have? The forks do not necessarily need to be bagged, but it shouldn't be difficult to put a napkin under them. Also, the forks were stained and I didn't feel comfortable using them. Filter coffee is 10 Stars in terms of temperature and density! The atmosphere of the place; Even though there was smoking inside, it was surprisingly and extremely spacious. Let me describe it as spacious enough that it wouldn't even disturb my child. While I was going to arrange a location, I saw that it was written in Google comments that extra money was requested for lactose-free milk. I was surprised because I consume lactose-free milk and no extra fee is asked anywhere. When I placed the order, I was not informed about an extra fee, so I asked myself if there is a difference for lactose-free milk and I was told that yes, we charge 25 TL. Even though I mentioned that it was ridiculous, the girls in front of me implied that it was nothing for us, so I had to drink only plain filter because I would never pay that ridiculous extra money. Chocolate brownie was very delicious, caramel San Sebastian is a very strong flavor, well done to those who can eat it, it's a matter of taste. I found the variety of desserts to be low, but maybe it is suitable as a concept. Prices were at market average. In terms of location, I think it's at the other end of Izmir, but if it were close, I wouldn't need to go again, it would be enough to visit once.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Izmir, Bravo Patiserie is a delightful pastry shop that has become a must-visit for both locals and travelers alike. Renowned for its extensive selection of ice cream flavors, this charming spot draws crowds during the summer months, with favorites like dark chocolate ice cream perfectly complementing their exquisite cakes and tarts. The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, making it an ideal place to enjoy breakfast or brunch while indulging in their delectable desserts.
Amazing selection of cakes, pastries, ice-creams and chocolates. All in good prices and delicious. The baklava is heavenly and must try. We also had a pistacio desert, that was sooooo delicious ❤️ chocolate used in cakes/pastries is also great and rich in taste. Tea is honestly one of the best I had in Turkey. Great place to have some coffee break (nice selectionof bewerages, both hot and cold) and lovely dessert. *non-smoking and smoking sits available.

Excellent pastry shop in a good location. The cakes and confections are high quality and always fresh. It could get really busy at times but it's worth the wait. They can also deliver if you have a need for catering etc. The ice cream selection is really good and it's probably one of the best you can find in Karşıyaka. Prices could be on the high side.

Poor quality! I have ordered different cakes from Bravo but every time I get one I am more disappointed than before. I do not understand why it is so expensive when the quality is not even close to good! Some days ago I got different things and the only one which I could eat was the Sebastian. The rest was awful. The nuts they use are so old!

Leone Patisserie & Boulangerie is a delightful gem that transports you straight to the heart of Paris with its charming decor and delectable offerings. Known for its exquisite French pastries, including flaky croissants and rich pain au chocolat, this patisserie also serves up fresh desserts like the Royal Fraisier, made with luscious cream and strawberries. The outdoor seating provides a lovely ambiance for enjoying breakfast or brunch on Sundays, making it an ideal spot to relax.
Incredible Place and Wonderful Breakfast. Fresh cooked Croissants which is very popular. Great service and friendly staff! I’ll recommend this place in Izmir. 100% Satisfied.

Strongly not recommended❗️ Almond croissant had no almond filling, which was disappointing for its price (225 tl if I’m not mistaken). My husband’s pain au chocolat didn’t have much chocolate either, which is truly sad😭 Honestly, I expected smth much better. P.S.: the toilet is too close to the tables, in my opinion.
Nelli N — Google review
It may be French but it is in Izmir! The service is slow and staff are miserable, the coffee we had was not that greater than say the one served in Cafe Nero. The cake was small and everything is overpriced for the quality of food served and coffee. A plain croissant costs over £3!!! A small cup of Americano coffee costs more than £3 too. The price of a very small piece of cake we were served cost more than £7. This place is located in a shopping mall called Hill Town in Izmir

I recently had the pleasure of dining here for breakfast and it was truly exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly, the restaurant was bustling with energy, and the iced latte I ordered was hands down the best I've ever had in Izmir. The croissant I indulged in was absolutely divine as well. The menu offered a wide array of options, including delectable cakes that were simply irresistible. I highly recommend this place for a delightful and satisfying breakfast/brunch experience in Izmir.

Amazing for breakfast, staff is very nice and the ambience is great. We ordered the granola bowl, the French breakfast, a gluten-free pastry, a cappucino, an iced latte and a chai latte. All food and drinks were tasty and very well presented.

We arrived without reserving space for 16 people but they managed to arrange tables and chairs very quickly even though they were already very busy. Great service, friendly staff, delicious pastries and coffee. French music was nice for a change. Only downside was there was only one toilet for everyone, but luckily the wait wasn't long. ☕🍰😊

The restaurant is known for its top-notch customer care and professional staff who create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy delicious meals at reasonable prices while taking in the beautiful seaside scenery. The cozy ambiance is enhanced by a perfect selection of music, creating an unforgettable evening.
A fantastic find on the waterfront in Konak Pier, perfect view and weather at 7PM on a Saturday night. We ordered the grilled lamb chops, which were tender, juicy, and full of flavor, and the grilled sea bream, which they expertly cleaned and plated tableside (always a good sign). The fish was cooked just right, delicately seasoned to let the freshness shine. The standout of the night was the Linguini di Mare, a buttery, briny seafood pasta in a light cream sauce; this was easily the best I’ve had anywhere, and I’ve eaten this dish in at least three countries. Shoutout to the Urla Chardonnay (a Turkish white worth seeking out), which paired beautifully with everything. Excellent service, cool views, and food that hits all the right notes: highly recommend if you’re in İzmir for one night.

The view is nice, but it could get kinda hot out there, so it's not actually a good thing that could make you enjoy your meal. The cheddar sauce on the burger was a bit too heavy, and there wasn't very much meat in it, and the salad was rather hard to cut than crunchy. The waiter was nice though, so it was an ok experience.

Moresi Girit Mutfağı is a popular restaurant known for its delicious Turkish breakfast. The menu features favorites like Pis, Serpme Kahvaltı, and Hlamur Receli. The restaurant offers a variety of traditional dishes that are enjoyed by both locals and tourists. With a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a small Greek village, the staff is polite and customer-oriented. Guests can enjoy fresh and filling breakfast options such as vegetarian choices, omelettes, pancakes, and unlimited tea.
If you’re in Izmir and want to experience the beauty of a real Turkish breakfast – Moresi Kordon is the place to go. We chose the shared traditional breakfast option, and honestly, it was a feast for the senses. The table quickly filled up with 10, 15, maybe even 20 small dishes, beautifully arranged like Turkish-style tapas: different types of olives, fresh bread, boiled eggs, several kinds of butter, savory and sweet spreads, jams, cheeses, and even fresh fruits like watermelon and pineapple. Every bite had a different flavor – salty, sweet, rich, refreshing. The variety was amazing, and the staff kept topping up our çay (Turkish tea) constantly, always warm, always ready. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, with a view that adds to the whole experience. It’s the kind of breakfast that turns into brunch, just because you don’t want to leave. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to taste the real Turkish breakfast tradition – with a touch of modern charm.

I think they usually only do a set breakfast menu for 2 and I was on my own, and I didn't know. The breakfast looked great, and most of the stuff on the menu is extras, but I asked for Menemen alone and they accommodated me. It tasted good and I got lots of bread/pise on the side! The service was attentive and some of them spoke English. They also asked if I want milk with coffee so I guess they are used to tourists!

Çelebi Unlu Mamuller is a renowned bakery in Izmir, known for its delicious dessert called 'Bomba.' This popular treat is a specialty of Izmir cuisine, featuring a luscious liquid chocolate center encased in a delicate dough shell. While Bomba has gained fame across Turkey, Çelebi Unlu Mamuller is considered one of the best places to savor this delectable dessert.
Bomba is an Izmir specialty best enjoyed here. It’s basically a thin pastry with a filling. The chocolate is actually Nutella. The pistachio/tahini is actually just peanut. Not in love with the fillings tbh but glad I tried it here. Expect a crowd.
Jane N — Google review
There was a huge queue when I arrived at Çelebi Unlu Mamuller, which is always a good sign that a place is worth checking out. Since it was packed and I couldn’t find a free table, I decided to grab a mix of their little desserts—chocolate, pistachio, coconut, and caramel—to take away. Just as I was heading out, I lucked upon a vacated table and figured I might as well dine in. The chocolate was absolutely delicious, the pistachio was a bit too sweet for me, caramel was decent, and the coconut—which I’d ordered two of—was okay, but I probably would have been happier with just one. But overall, so yum! Considering the economical pricing, this place is definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.
Omz ( — Google review
A super popular dessert spot in Turkey! I went around 9:30 p.m. and there was still a long line, so I decided to try it. Ordered the classic chocolate and pistachio bombas—they’re served hot with a crispy outside and tasty filling. I liked the chocolate one more, but both are very sweet, so keep that in mind if you don’t have a big sweet tooth.
Edward D — Google review
Generally delicious if not over filled and messy, I'm not sure so much what the hype is about as it's just Nutella in dough but I appreciate the traditional desert. Service was quick, atmosphere, no seating as it's very busy. Probably wouldn't buy again as it's just to messy to eat.

Food was average compared to the price paid.. There are many more tastier and cheaper options in Buca that I would skip this place. My mom ordered a side of potatoes that came after we had all almost finished our meals. There was no meze served (not normal in a Turkish restaurant) even though we all ordered costly dishes.. You can go to Konyalı on the main street, and even when you order soup, you get some sort of meze with your order. Finally, you don’t even eat inside the mansion, but rather in a small outdoor patio built next to the mansion. Vibe wasn’t what I expected, would not recommend this place.

Zeynel Ergin Gevrek Fırını, also known as simit, is a renowned bakery in Izmir, Turkey. This beloved breakfast item is often enjoyed with cheese, olives, and tea in the pleasant Izmir climate.
Lovely authentic bakery with the freshly baked gevrek. Try the chocolate, mushroom, yoghurt cheese, spinach pastries - all of which are good! Have them with Turkish tea and life is perfect :) parking is a bit tricky, better to come on foot.

Salinee C — Google review
It is so unfortunate that the workers in the place destroy the name of the place of the owners with the bad service they give: every person likes to start his morning with the coffee he likes, with milk or without milk, strong or weak coffee. I ordered 3 latte coffees but I asked 3 times and even explained to the employees who prepare the coffee that I ask for hot milk separately and espresso separately so that I can mix the coffee myself as I like. I was told there was no problem. When I am about to receive the coffee, I see that the employee did indeed do as he pleased and not according to my request, I ask him why you are not doing according to my request.. He answers me a problem that it is not coffee and that is the standard. An argument began, the end of which I did not see, so I decided to leave the place and not take the coffee he made, which was not according to my request, after I paid full price for 3 coffees. What else I noticed that the people at the counter who receive the coffee are horribly dirty, the cake tray is dirty, the floor inside the restaurant is sticky and not clean. This is how it is that young employees run a serious business for the owner of the place, and as I wrote at the beginning, they destroy his image. I suggested that you always pay attention to the level of cleanliness in the place, and the attitude of the employees towards you, they are supposed to give you excellent service, and not do you a favor by serving you for the money you paid.

Nice place with good food. Our coffee was placed on a very small tray that I had to carry to the first floor. I spilled half of my coffee because of the two additional bottles of water I received. My mistake. That said no one helped cleaning the table and when asked for a new coffee, of course I needed to pay first. Never happend to me in 25 years of international travel. In addition it is unfortunate that the toilet hygiene is deplorable. The cleaning schedule is filled just to satisfy the local regulations.

The service was horrible we had to wait 20mints for the server to take our order . I ordered künefe they brought it from mado next door And don’t get me starting about the toilet that it’s obviously has not been cleaned for the past year .. Service 1/10 Food 0/10 sanitation 0/10 I do not recommend

Just by the pier, there is ample seating in patio or in balcony and it's definitely spacious inside. menu is huge so it might take sometime to decide. had have coffee and desserts at multiple occasions and has not been a disappointment ever. With the Turkish coffee, they serve you with tiny chocolates shaped like tiny stones, they taste much like MnMs. Great spot by the sea for a coffee.

Kiana and I visit Izmir’s attractions every Sunday. This time we decided to eat breakfast outdoor and then start the adventure. We picked Sade Kahvaltı because it was in the neighborhood and we used to see it full of customers. We checked some ratings on the website and made up our minds. The breakfast menu was totally good. There is a Turkish breakfast menu on the first page, also you can find the Omelets menu on the other page. We order a turkish breakfast for 1, and 1 special omelet with special Turkish sausage (called sucuk) and mushroom. Both of them were really good but we enjoyed the omelet more. Maybe it was because it was delivered first, so when the other was brought we were full. Actually the omelet was enough for 2. At last, the environment is great and warm. We liked it. However, I believe the price was a little too high.

I give this restaurant 4 stars for its ambiance and for the fact that it’s a really old restaurant but the meal we had was not worth 4stars. I will try something else one day. Service was good

The place has two parts out which is garden and in. - Inside part was almost empty. - Garden has mosquito problem especially under the tables, restaurant is neither not aware or pretend like everything is fine. - Pizza is just one size (medium) and it , mix, was really nice. - Toilet is single cabin for each gender. Cleaning of it was average level. -The waitress, the young lady was warm blood and fast while the other staff, who even was at the next table, neither did hear our call for the next order nor did want to hear us. :(

(Translated by Google) We used the restaurant side for dinner. The employees are friendly and caring but very inexperienced. The menu is very rich, but there should be a better quality service and experienced team for that menu. The water you drink with raki is not charged, but the water you want for raki is written on the ticket. I asked for coffee after the meal and they wrote down the price. While I was waiting for my food, I asked for tea and they wrote down the price. If I use it as a cafe and I don't eat raki and fish for dinner, I will understand, turn on the tea, coffee and water. However, if you are serving as a restaurant, especially if you are having a heavy dinner, these will not be opened. Prices are normal and affordable for Mordogan. They bring the fish on a board. All the oil and water from the fish flowed from the wood to the table and this is not a nice thing. Fish is not served on a plain cheese board. Joy's Cafe Bistro in İzmir is a delightful gem that truly stands out for its exceptional dining experience. As visitors from abroad, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality and attentive service provided by the staff. The atmosphere is cozy, making it an ideal spot for breakfast or dinner. We particularly enjoyed the live music during our evening visit, which added to the charm of the place. The food at Joy's is nothing short of delicious; their homemade cheesecake was a highlight that we can't recommend enough!

I’m in town visiting in laws and family. I decided to venture out on my own while my husband was out doing business. I made a stop here to grab a quick bite to eat before heading to the areas I wanted to see. I’m a foreigner. I’m visiting from the United States. My husband is originally from Izmir. I chose this place based on reviews, saying how attentive the staff was and how there were English speakers here were very helpful. Unfortunately, I experienced none of that. It’s summer and it’s very hot. I sat down and was shown how to access the menu in English. After a few minutes, I picked out a few things and waited for someone to come over so that I can tell them my order. So much time went past. People that came in after me were seated and handed water And utensils and had their orders promptly taken. I almost got up and left . Finally, a man comes over and takes our order. Still, water wasn’t given to us until much later. We are finally given our food. The staff was going around to other tables, making sure they were OK and collecting empty plates and trash. No one came up to us once asking if we needed anything else or anything at all really. Even when we were done eating, no one came up to collect our plates or our trash….just an empty water bottle. The restaurant was not busy at the time. Instead, we got multiple stares. After sometime sitting down, I decided to get up and pay for our check. The woman that took my payment was very unfriendly and rude. I handed her my card and while my car was processing, she was just staring me up and down. Izmir is a lovely place. This is not my first time here. I am working on learning the language to communicate better with locals, but as of now, I just know simple, greetings, and phrases. I typically don’t travel around the city alone so communication is never a problem. I felt like we weren’t welcomed here at this restaurant. I’ve been here for a few weeks now And I haven’t experienced this type of treatment at any other restaurant or establishment. For the most part, people here are friendly. I guess, depending on your ethnicity/race, that is what determines How the staff treat you here. As I mentioned, I’m visiting from the United States, I am black though. That’s the only reason I can come up with as to why I received such cold treatment. I wasn’t being rude, I was friendly, I would say please and thank you. Although, Customer Service was bad and I didn’t enjoy the food that much, I’m giving two stars because my child really enjoyed the burger. I look forward to trying other places, but I definitely won’t be back here. Working in the medical field, I’m taught to treat people equally no matter what they look like, or where they are from. The people here should do better. Instead of staring and being rude, providing good customer service would’ve been awesome. I’ve traveled all around the world, never experienced this type of blatant behavior before.

(Translated by Google) In Güzelbahçe, Zeytinalan. Right next to the municipality's Urit Cafe business. It's a nice place on the beach, shabby but by the sea. They allow food to be brought from outside. Tea is 10 TL, coffee is 20 TL. Sahlep, nescafe 90 (recommended). Soft drinks are also reasonably priced. I don't know what will happen in the season. Would I go again, yes. Çay10, kahve 20 tl. Sahlep, nescafe 90 (tavsiye edilir) . Meşrubatlar da makul fiyatlı. Sezonda ne olur bilmem. Bir daha gider miyim, evet.

(Translated by Google) Terrible service, a cold cuts plate can't be 240 TL, there are 2 tomatoes and 1 cucumber, we waited for 1 hour, a pot of tea was 300 TL, it's just a tea garden, it shouldn't be such a rip off, I will never come again (Original) Çok berbat bir servis bir söğüş tabağı 240 TL olamaz 2 domates 1 salatalık var 1 saat bekledik demlik çay 300 TL alt tarafı çay bahçesi böyle kazık olmamalı bir daha asla gelmem

BAOBAB Cafe Sığacık is a must-visit spot with its friendly owner who is passionate about what he does. The place offers the best craft beer in town, such as the Izmir-made Feliz Kolpa, and serves special peanuts from a Turkish town. The ambiance is enhanced by great music that doesn't overpower conversations. Additionally, they offer high-quality coffee options, including oat milk for vegans.
This coffee shop/bar offers an exceptional experience. The onwner, Celal's genuine hospitality and expertise set the stage for a memorable visit. The cozy atmosphere is just perfect for chilling. Their coffee and cocktails are masterfully crafted, bursting with flavor. In a world where excellent service can be rare, this establishment shines. It's a must-visit for coffee and cocktail enthusiasts, setting a high standard for customer-centric places.

Very nice place and very friendly service. It's only one place in Sığacık where you can order a craft beer, and they have it also on tap! They also serve coffee in many ways and they have Italian espresso machine.

The best: the owner of the bar: A smart man who loves what he does and is kind to everyone. I went there in summer with my girlfriend and had the best beer ever: a craft onr made in Izmir: Feliz Kolpa, if I'm not mistaken. I liked it so much that I went there for more every day I stayed in Sığacık 😊. The peanut they serve comes from a town in Turkey (I forgot the name) and the taste is really special, not like factory toasted peanut. The music was great and not loud. I can't wait to visit Baobab!

The best craft beer we have drank in Turkey. The place is beautiful and extremely clean. There is really good live music during the weekend. We have come almost every day for the last 5 weeks, and everything you order is high quality 👌🏻. On top of that, Celal is an amazing person and a great professional. A place you must visit if you are in town.

I loved this placed! They have English speaking staff (which makes my life easier) and their coffee is delicious, too. If coffee isn’t your thing, come back in the evening for a beer and chill to some love music. Can’t wait to go back and visit again!

This place is simply amazing! I ended up coming everyday for over a month. Everything I ordered was of the highest quality. I tried many types of coffee and all are exquisite. Coffee can even be made with Oat milk for Vegans. The craft beer is better than any other beer you will find in town. On top of that the owner and his family are lovely people. I tried some of the food items as well and all of them were fantastic. Even the WiFi is good, which is rare in Sigacik. You have to go here!

Our favorite place to go in Sigacik. The owner is very hospitable and pays attention to great quality in everything he offers. We really enjoyed the live concerts and will definitely come back when the opportunity arises.
Jeannine B — Google review
Over the last month we've been four times during the day different coffees and they have all been very very good. The best coffee I've had in Turkey since arriving last year. The quality beans, high barista capability and wide range of coffee methods (standard espresso variants and 2nd/3rd wave) make for a coffee destination.
