When it comes to Turkish breakfasts though I’m a bit lost. As a typical Turkish breakfast usually includes cheese, olives, eggs, jam, spicy sausage, bread and a whole host of other little bits and pieces that you pick at and share with your loved ones. The service was friendly, recommended !

The best Turkish breakfast we have ever had as a family. There were 6 of us and they served us so well. The service was quick and the crew was so kind. Nehir is the sweetest server I have ever encountered. I wish all of them the best.

The prices are extremely high. I only wanted a serpme, while my friends wanted omelettes, but we were told that everyone would have to pay 850 TL. They also said my friends couldn’t share from my serpme. On top of that, the serpme alone was priced at 850 TL, which I found ridiculous. They’ve good quality of breakfast, place is cute and staff is very hospitable. The fried dough and fried phyllo pastries filled with cheese & roasted eggplants were delicious. We didn’t order any eggs cause we were already full.

My theory is that rising prices in the country have impacted them, forcing them to turn to cheaper suppliers, resulting in a decline in quality. My last four purchases left me disappointed. The coffee was VERY overpriced yet tasted no different then instant coffee like Nescafé, very watery and very bad, the tea was very overpriced for what it is. Ordering is also a pain, you have to use your phone, scan a QR and after handing over your personal data you can then see the menu. I can not recommend this place, due to the very bad drinks.

Cicekli is a small village that made his reputation with dozen of restaurants specialised in traditional Turkish breakfast (kahvalti). There is a lot of choice of restaurant but this one is my favorite. The food they served is really amazing with good quality products from the local farms. The price is a little expensive for local (7 € / person) but you pay for the quality of the product and also the experience. One more information is how to reach the place regarding the fact it was difficult for me without a car to go there. If you want to use the public transportation you just need to go to the Evka 3 metro station and then there is dolmus that bring you directly to the village for 5 tl and it takes less then 15 minutes. To go back you also have dolmus every hour.

We requested to order breakfast for three people, but the staff insisted that we order for four. As a result, we were left with many leftover items that went to waste. Amazing for breakfast, staff is very nice and the ambience is great. We ordered the granola bowl, the French breakfast, a gluten-free pastry, a cappucino, an iced latte and a chai latte. All food and drinks were tasty and very well presented.

We arrived without reserving space for 16 people but they managed to arrange tables and chairs very quickly even though they were already very busy. I think they usually only do a set breakfast menu for 2 and I was on my own, and I didn't know. The breakfast looked great, and most of the stuff on the menu is extras, but I asked for Menemen alone and they accommodated me. It tasted good and I got lots of bread/pise on the side! The service was attentive and some of them spoke English. They also asked if I want milk with coffee so I guess they are used to tourists!

Since it was packed and I couldn’t find a free table, I decided to grab a mix of their little desserts—chocolate, pistachio, coconut, and caramel—to take away. Just as I was heading out, I lucked upon a vacated table and figured I might as well dine in. The chocolate was absolutely delicious, the pistachio was a bit too sweet for me, caramel was decent, and the coconut—which I’d ordered two of—was okay, but I probably would have been happier with just one. But overall, so yum! Considering the economical pricing, this place is definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Food was average compared to the price paid.. There are many more tastier and cheaper options in Buca that I would skip this place. My mom ordered a side of potatoes that came after we had all almost finished our meals. There was no meze served (not normal in a Turkish restaurant) even though we all ordered costly dishes.. You can go to Konyalı on the main street, and even when you order soup, you get some sort of meze with your order. Finally, you don’t even eat inside the mansion, but rather in a small outdoor patio built next to the mansion. Vibe wasn’t what I expected, would not recommend this place.

While visiting from Australia, we popped into this bakery on our 2 last days in Izmir. Each time, we tried different flavoured Boyoz - all of which were tasty! My highlight was the chocolate filled croissant-type pastry which was so full of chocolate and absolutely delicious.

One of the waiters could speak English and help us as the tourists to understand the menu. We ordered Gevrek, Kumru & Boyoz (one with mushroom & one with chocolate). All of them are delicious!!! The atmosphere is really nice too, you can spend time hours with reading books or chatting with your friends/loved ones, especially during the sunny day. They have indoor & outdoor spaces.

Just by the pier, there is ample seating in patio or in balcony and it's definitely spacious inside. menu is huge so it might take sometime to decide. had have coffee and desserts at multiple occasions and has not been a disappointment ever. With the Turkish coffee, they serve you with tiny chocolates shaped like tiny stones, they taste much like MnMs. Great spot by the sea for a coffee.

We picked Sade Kahvaltı because it was in the neighborhood and we used to see it full of customers. We checked some ratings on the website and made up our minds. The breakfast menu was totally good. There is a Turkish breakfast menu on the first page, also you can find the Omelets menu on the other page. We order a turkish breakfast for 1, and 1 special omelet with special Turkish sausage (called sucuk) and mushroom. Both of them were really good but we enjoyed the omelet more. Maybe it was because it was delivered first, so when the other was brought we were full. Actually the omelet was enough for 2. At last, the environment is great and warm. We liked it. However, I believe the price was a little too high.

The place has two parts out which is garden and in. - Inside part was almost empty. - Garden has mosquito problem especially under the tables, restaurant is neither not aware or pretend like everything is fine. - Pizza is just one size (medium) and it , mix, was really nice. - Toilet is single cabin for each gender. I’m in town visiting in laws and family. I decided to venture out on my own while my husband was out doing business. I made a stop here to grab a quick bite to eat before heading to the areas I wanted to see. I’m a foreigner. I’m visiting from the United States. My husband is originally from Izmir. I chose this place based on reviews, saying how attentive the staff was and how there were English speakers here were very helpful. Unfortunately, I experienced none of that. The restaurant was not busy at the time. Instead, we got multiple stares. After sometime sitting down, I decided to get up and pay for our check. The woman that took my payment was very unfriendly and rude. I handed her my card and while my car was processing, she was just staring me up and down. Izmir is a lovely place. This is not my first time here. I am working on learning the language to communicate better with locals, but as of now, I just know simple, greetings, and phrases. I typically don’t travel around the city alone so communication is never a problem. I felt like we weren’t welcomed here at this restaurant. I’ve been here for a few weeks now And I haven’t experienced this type of treatment at any other restaurant or establishment. For the most part, people here are friendly.
