Fava Alacati is a charming spot with a terrace, offering a variety of hot and cold shared plates as well as classic Aegean dishes. The restaurant has shifted its focus to its cuisine, providing a delightful dining experience in a stone house that retains its old-world charm. Seafood enthusiasts can indulge in an array of mouthwatering dishes, from perfectly grilled fish and tender calamari to delectable shrimp options and savory seafood pasta.
Quite a nice dining experience away from the crowds in a large Garden able to host 300 diners. Mustafa was quite friendly with us and we had an interesting conversation. Be aware the 1-3 starters per person may be enough for a nice dinner with some dessert as the portions are huge
Andreas S — Google review
I had a wonderful experience dining here. The food was absolutely exceptional — every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. A special thank you to Emre, our server, whose warmth and attentiveness made the evening even more enjoyable. His kindness and professionalism truly stood out. Highly recommended!
Arzu Y — Google review
Mustafa was a wonderful server — attentive, friendly, and really made the experience smooth. The food was excellent all around. The calamari was outstanding, tender yet crisp. The sea bass was fresh, light, and had just the right crispness that gave it great texture. The spicy eggplant mezzah had a nice kick and was served cold, which made it refreshing, while the smoky eggplant yogurt was simply mouthwatering. Dessert was a real surprise — a frozen treat made with chickpeas, tahini, pistachio, and caramel. Unique, rich in flavor, and absolutely worth trying. Highly recommend this place — we’ll definitely be coming back!
Noor Y — Google review
The best restaurant in town. The food was so delicious, the service amazingly polite and the atmosphere, eating in a cosy place surrounded by olive trees was amazing. Really to recommend!
Maya T — Google review
We were really looking forward to this place — it came highly recommended by our hotel in Alaçatı and had amazing reviews. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and far from the hectic evening crowds, which we truly appreciated. The food was great too — my friend and I shared some mezzes and hot dishes, perfect for what was meant to be a chill dinner between two friends catching up after a long time apart. But unfortunately, one major thing ruined the experience: the service. Our waiter, Mustafa, was very warm and welcoming at first — we genuinely appreciated that. But then things got awkward. He kept pushing us to order more food even when we clearly said we wouldn’t be able to finish it. Throughout the meal, he interrupted us every 10 minutes to talk, which really disrupted our evening. What was meant to be a relaxing catch-up turned into a frustrating dinner. To top it off, when the bill came, he pointed out that there was no service fee (even though it was already included), and insisted we leave a big tip, claiming it was for "taxes" and other nonsense that didn’t concern us. It also didn’t go unnoticed that he wasn’t doing this with local customers. Having lived in Turkey for years, I can also say that the value for money here just isn’t great — the prices are excessive for what you get (We paid over 200€ for two people) Beautiful place, good food — but the service completely ruined it for us.
Sofie V — Google review
This is such a cute restaurant for a dinner date! The service staff (ours was Mustafa) were so friendly and made the best recommendations on what mezzes to order! I’ll be dreaming about the mezzes for a long time 🥹
Eshani M — Google review
Fava is a beautiful restaurant located in the historic center of Alacati. The inner patio is stunning and well maintained, with olive trees and soft lighting that create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, the mezze are truly spectacular. The hummus, in particular, was phenomenal, the smoothest and most flavorful I’ve ever had. The fried calamari were also excellent: light, crispy, and perfectly aromatic, with no trace of excess oil. The falafel were very good as well, and the highlight was the seabass filet, a house specialty prepared with a secret recipe. The quality of the ingredients at Fava is simply undeniable. The desserts provided the perfect ending to the meal, especially the pumpkin dessert, which stood out. The wine list is also solid, featuring a well-curated selection of mostly local labels. A special mention goes to the staff, especially the blond man with long hair who guided us with spot-on recommendations from start to finish. Many thanks🤗

The restaurant is amazing and it’s a must go. It’s a little on the expensive side but the food is worth all of it. This place has the best fish I ever had and I plan on coming back here every time I visit Alacati. Everyone should try it. Absolutely no regrets at all🙌🙌

Restaurant
Asma Yaprağı is a must-visit in Alacati, offering the best of Aegean cuisine with dishes made from their own farm-grown produce. The restaurant's new field-themed location on the Ovacik road has captured hearts in the 2020 season. Ces Asma Yapragi Restorani provides a magical atmosphere for a romantic evening meal. The unique setting, delicious menu, and memorable experiences make it perfect for creating cherished memories.
We visited the restaurant on a Monday for lunch, a taxi driver recommended this place to us, and we decided to visit. I was surprised by the beautiful garden and the ambience of the area. It is beautifully decorated, accompanied by some low music in the background. The staff was extremely friendly and mostly spoke perfect English, something that definitely added to the experience. The location is quite far away from both alacati and Cesme, unless you have a car. A taxi ride there will set you back around 350tl from alacati or Cesme. The food was ok, I really enjoyed the lamb and the pumpkin plate. We were also recommended some wine (vourla) that I really enjoyed and would definitely recommend. The prices are kinda expensive, but not too bad. Overall I would say it was a pretty memorable experience, mostly because of the garden, the food was good but nothing special. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area!
Dimitris K — Google review
An absolutely delightful experience. It was my first visit to Asma Yaprağı, and it exceeded all expectations. The dishes were exquisitely prepared, each one bursting with the fresh, authentic flavors of the Aegean. The stuffed zucchini blossoms and olive oil-based appetizers were particularly memorable. The garden offered a magical setting, dining under the trees with soft, ambient lighting created an atmosphere that was both elegant and serene. Indoors, the charming decor evoked a sense of nostalgia, reminiscent of a lovingly curated countryside home. Every detail, from the vintage plates to the herb-filled kitchen, added to the restaurant’s warm and timeless character. The staff was gracious and attentive, making the entire evening feel truly special. Asma Yaprağı is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and tasteful experience in Alaçatı.
BK — Google review
We visited this restaurant after checking the hours on Google Maps, but unfortunately the timing was incorrect — they actually open for lunch at 2 PM, so we had to leave and return later. The place itself is quiet, beautifully decorated, and has a pleasant ambiance. The food tasted amazing — definitely one of the highlights. However, the pricing was surprisingly high for what was offered. While we understand that restaurants can charge according to their standards, it's only fair that prices are clearly displayed for each dish. When we arrived, the chef spoke very quickly and his English was quite difficult to understand. We asked for a price list but were told, “Don’t worry, just pick what you need.” We selected three items, but were then told we needed to order a minimum of five. This led to confusion, and in the end, we were charged per dish without ever knowing the cost upfront. Despite the great taste and nice setting, we left feeling taken advantage of as tourists. It felt like there was an attempt to overcharge us due to miscommunication, which left a bad impression. Clear pricing and better communication would make a big difference here.
Ghina K — Google review
We went there with positive expectations but were somewhat disappointed by the experience. They do have the Michelin plate, but food is not up to expectations and quite overpriced. There is no mention of food priced unless you ask and the starters are way too expensive for homemade cooking from a farm. Be aware
Andreas S — Google review
Amazing experience at farm house where you can enjoy the great taste of organic homemade food. Freshly made from the farm crops. The vibes and the atmosphere makes were amazing. Totally recommend when you’re visiting around here.
Mohammed A — Google review
I came in with high expectations and left very disappointed. I am honestly not sure why this place is in the Michelin guide. The food is fine - but no more than that. There were some interesting dishes but most did not have any memorable qualities. Plus, they are all reheated - you select what you want and they heat it up for you. This led to uneven food temperatures and unappetizing consistencies. What makes all of this even worse is the price. This was our most expensive meal in Turkey over two weeks - including multiple meals for 4 (and this one was for 2, with no alcohol!). Each dish was over 500 TRY, a significant sum for essentially large appetizers, almost all of which are meatless. The setting is nice, and the home-style concept is appealing, but save your money for other meals.
Spencer B — Google review
Beautiful setting and atmosphere. The food was great and the chef talked us through all the mezze options. He did tell us to have 5 and that was too much. Would recommend but it’s really off putting having smokers puffing away non stop next to you. They should have a smoking and non smoking section. It does ruin the experience a bit.

Eflatun Alaçatı is a charming restaurant located in the narrow streets of Alacati, specifically in the Hacimemis district. The establishment exudes the spirit of Alacati with its gingham tablecloths and pavement tables, creating a delightful holiday atmosphere. The food service begins at 19:30, offering delicious meals prepared with regional authentic products by the two women founders since 2013.
We found this wonderful place by accident on the last day of our stay in Alacati. And what a surprise! Amazing seafood served by the chef , compliments! She offered us one of her creations - profiterole , her own style, bravo!!! Chic cozy garden internal . l recommend absolutely, thank you!
Jane J — Google review
Lovely chilled place but it is so expensive for what it is. It’s London prices but the wine is more expensive. The seafood pasta was just ok but the other dishes we had were lovely. Glad to have gone but wouldn’t go back as it’s too expensive. Staff were lovely.
Emily J — Google review
Very nice restaurant with a good atmosphere; the service was very kind and they found us a table even if we were without reservation. We choose 3 fish dishes and a selection of their sides; as starter a fresh carpaccio of salmon that was really good; then grilled prawns and the octopus with eggplant purée; the octopus dish was incredibile, I really recommend it. We had also a Turkish white wine that was a good discover(in general the wine list is quite good). A really good place, especially for a romantic dinner.

3 stars due to prices. I love this restaurant and we come every single year but we can only afford it once. Service is impeccable , food tastes amazing. But why are you adding 20 percent service charge?!? We are in Turkey and gratuity is never included in any other restaurant. On top Of it, our server said the owners take 46 percent off the service charge to themselves and only rest goes to the servers! WTH! Do better!
Charlotte J — Google review
tasty mezes, I highly recommend the mussels with wine sauce. Keep in mind while making a reservation that the courtyard is better than sitting on the crowded street.
Helin S — Google review
Food was fine, not exceptional. but the experience was awful. Even though we reserved a table the day before we had to sit at the back end of the alley. And we had to wave the waiters several times and wait for what we wanted for a very long time. Altogether it was the worst restaurant we ate at in Alacati.
Amin J — Google review
Probably one of the best sea food restaurants in Alacati in my opinion
Alona T — Google review
This was probably the worst meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant in my life. My meal (the lamb) was completely overcooked, oversalted, and absolutely tiny for a dish that was priced at $37. The menu said my friend’s meal, the rigatoni pasta, came with grilled peppers and grilled tomatos yet it came with none of it. The waiter was completely unhelpful and brought pizza topping ground pepper when we asked where her peppers were. He refused to add the grilled peppers or tomatoes when we asked and said the kitchen was closed- and we still had to pay full price for it! But the WORST part was the monstrosity that was their mezzes. Their shrimp and avocado mezze was placed among the other mezzes at the display despite it costing $20 more- a whopping $30 US DOLLARS FOR SOME AVOCADO AND SHRIMP. It was left on the display table for probably the whole night, no refrigeration. After our meal, my friend got TERRIBLE food poisoning which we think is almost definitely from that shrimp. She was vomiting the whole day and almost passed out. We had to pay full price (nearly $200 dollars!) for this atrocious meal and we encourage you to think twice before going to this restaurant - my friend’s meal is sitting next to me eating boiled potatoes and rice after two days of illness. We might sue. Definitely a health violation.

Ferdi Baba Restaurant - Alaçatı Köyiçi is a renowned dining destination that started its culinary journey in 1981 in Aya Yorgi Koyu and has since expanded to include three separate restaurants: Alacati Köyiçi, Alacati Port Marina, and Ces Marina. The restaurant offers a rich selection of alcoholic beverages alongside specialties such as yogurt-marinated sea bass kebab, grilled octopus, Lagos fish, and more.
I made the reservation and the confirmation couple of weeks ago . When we arrive to the restaurant they could not find our booking. At the end they arrange us a table to eat. It is best place you can eat the sea foods in Alacatı. The foods are great. The price can be a little expensive regarding to what you eat and drink.
Şefik T — Google review
Dont go there it’s a money and tourist trap and and trap. I have been to this place many times with my whole family 5 people to eat meze and we always paid around 150 euro. Yesterday I was there only with my daughter and had a few meze which cost 250 euro and when we asked if this was the real bill they laughed at us. Next to that they add 20 euro service fee unbelievable. It’s a shame how this place changed from a great location into a … for everything you get a bill water, bread, olives despite they mentioned it was on the house..
Jan Z — Google review
This place is a complete rip-off. The service is extremely bad, the food is even worse, and it’s all designed to take advantage of tourists. We paid $600 for half a fish and a couple of bad starters. Absolutely the worst experience — overpriced, bad quality, and not worth your time or money. Avoid at all costs!
Zeena H — Google review
Cozy atmosphere. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food is very good is seafood focused. However it is very pricey even compared to Ala Çati rates.
Habib M — Google review
Unfortunately, I will have to join the many other people who reviewed this place with 1 star. If it were possible to give "0" stars this place deserves it. Ferdi Baba charges for fresh fish by the kg but the prices are nowhere to be seen in their supposed "open kitchen" concept. The service was less than average, food was sub-standard! We paid 100 Euros for 900 grams of fresh fish at more than what we would pay for a restaurant in Cannes (La Croisette) the fish was over- cooked (grilled) and served with a few salad leaves and 2 tiny potatoes!! Music was blaring while we were eating - we could not hear ourselves talking or get a waiter's attention. Such a waste of money and possibly the worse experience we have had in Turkey so far.
Sunita M — Google review
The place is so extremely overpriced! There is nothing like 200 tl for two persons. We came and there was no menu, they asked us to go and choose what we want to eat so we just picked few things, some appetizers, we didn’t take fish or normal meal, also we didn’t order alcohol For drinks we took only water We already was afraid that there will be some surprises because the place have no menu So… in the end, for 4 appetizers (you can see on the picture) and some small plate of octopus salad (which was so dry and oily, there was no taste of octopus) we payed 400 tl For this money they should make fresh and delicious food! But, unfortunately, they are focused only on making money if you are tourists on a budget and you cannot throw out 600-800 lira for dinner (or even more with alcohol) then I do not recommend this place to you
Oksana O — Google review
Food is really good (but not as good as the one in cesme port). Staff are friendly and so helpful
Mohammed-Saleh M — Google review
We came to this restaurant to try the fish which was delicious. However, we did not expect to pay 1500ytl (about 50€!!!) for service and a little meze with approximately 7 shrimp. Extremely overpriced. Be careful to check the bill!

Kapari Bahçe is a charming open-air restaurant located in the Hacımemiş neighborhood, nestled in a historic stone building dating back to the 1800s. The restaurant prides itself on offering delectable dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, curated by the talented executive chef Caykun Gelgec. The highlight of this establishment is its serene and romantic ambiance, set within a beautifully maintained garden.
Sweeet vibe with a grand menu. I saw some excellent vegetarian options. Serves is quick and very skilled. The little streets are wonderfull and warm. The salad is real lets hope the rest is of the same quality.
Niko D — Google review
We paid nearly €90 per person, yet the wet wipes offered were of such poor quality that one would expect better even at a humble street-side kokoreç stand. The scent lingered unpleasantly on our hands for hours, leaving an impression most unbecoming of an establishment of this stature. Frankly, it would be preferable not to provide them at all than to present guests with such substandard items. Equally surprising was the absence of a proper napkin service. On a positive note, the lady at the entrance extended a gracious and welcoming manner, which did not go unnoticed.
Baryonic — Google review
We tried this restaurant during our stay, but honestly, it didn’t live up to the hype. The location is great and the place looks nice, but the service was very weak. The cocktails were far better back at our hotel. Overall, I think it’s way overrated.
NCześć — Google review
After reading negative reviews I was quite concerned to go there, but decided to give it a go. We actually quite enjoyed the food, it was nicely balanced with salt, spices and sauces. We got several dishes. I loved the most Kapari Style lamb liver, very rare someone can cook it nicely. Service was excellent! There is also nice atmosphere with heaters running. The restaurant charge a service charge 10% on the top of your bill (not sure if it’s everyday thing, we dined on Sunday)
Julia M — Google review
If I could rate this a seven (7), I would. Atmosphere is, literally, perfect on the bend of a quaint street. The service is spectacular for a vibrant, busy restaurant... The food was so good, that my wife and I broke our hard & fast rule of no repeats. We went back and were happy to have done so. Go here now!
Greg B — Google review
Great food and ambience. Definitely on the pricy side, we payed 100€ for 2 beers, an appetiser, salad and 2 mains. It seems the kitchen knows how to prepare the dishes very well. Service was good, although the did not comprehend my friends allergy to nuts. Obviously I had to repeat a walnut is a nut! Highly recommended if budget is not an issue.
Iason S — Google review
I ordered the mushroom and truffle pappardelle, which was the best I’ve ever had. The appetizers and salads were also very fresh and tasty. However, I recommend going early and making a reservation. The street gets packed once the sun starts to go down and can become uncomfortable. We got a table around 6pm (without a reservation) and only had an hour to eat before we had to go. It is also a little pricy… $87 for 3 people. All in all a great experience, but would only go back if prices were lowered and it didn’t get so crowded in the later evening.
Hira T — Google review
Over priced restaurant with an unusual menu and unfriendly service I was expecting traditional Turkish menu and friendly service unfortunately very disappointing. Quality of food was ok however I was not felt welcomed and also rushed through our food beside being sitted by the WC where as we arere the second group of guests in the entire restaurant! I will never go back nor recommend where there are plenty of great options in neighborhood with some local dishes.

Nestled in the picturesque Çeşme Marina, Ferdi Baba Restaurant is a seafood lover's paradise that beautifully captures the essence of coastal dining. With a menu brimming with locally sourced fish and shellfish, this family-owned establishment has been delighting patrons for over 30 years. The culinary team expertly blends traditional Turkish flavors with Mediterranean influences, ensuring each dish bursts with freshness and taste.
I visited this restaurant on a Monday evening, I was surprised the kitchen was still open, since we arrived at around 21:30. I can definitely recommend the shrimps and the octopus. The staff was friendly, and spoke some English. The prices were pretty expensive, but it makes sense considering the very central location next to the Cesme marina. Overall, I would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Our hotel, Marriott Izmir recommended this restaurant and it exceeded our expectations! The host was very hospitable and showed us all the different seafood and dishes available , including various cooking options. Service was fantastic, we ordered a bottle of local Sauvignon Blanc and two types of fish, grilled and fried. The grilled local octopus was perfectly cooked and highly recommended. We were also served a dessert fruit platter and tea, what a splendid Turkish hospitality! The backdrop view of the Marina was also a highlight, it was a shame we had to rush off otherwise we could easily spend a whole afternoon here!

We had such a great time here! The place has a really cozy vibe and the food was super tasty. Big thanks to Eren for being so kind and attentive — he really made our night even better! We’ll definitely be back soon! Strongly recommended!

My favorite fish restaurant in Cesme. The service is very good, waiters are very attentive. Our waiter Halil was very helpful and friendly from beginning to end. Food is very fresh, environment is nice. It is on the expensive side but a Turkish fish restaurant experience with a beautiful view is worth it.
Sharon Z — Google review
We visited this restaurant twice within a short time, and each experience was outstanding. The seafood was excellent, with the calamari and octopus being absolute standouts. The oysters could have been cleaned a little more carefully, but that was a minor detail. Service was fast and attentive, and special thanks go to Mr. Tuna for his hospitality. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and atmosphere make it more than worth it. Easily one of the best seafood restaurants in the country.

We just had the warm meze and some Seafood which was very good. And, the service together with the complimentary fruits and desert made our day.

food and location are very good. however, the supposedly complementary bread and olive oil was charged 100tl per person. also, the service fee is 10% of the bill, even though we ordered inside by ourselves (they don't have menus for guests). the staff is nice, but hidden charges are ridiculous. you can see our check for 2 dishes and 2 appetisers

Coming from NYC, this was a great dining experience we were looking for at a coastal sea town. You can order from the menu or chose with your eyes from the 20+ mezze options of vegetables/seafood and then fresh fish prepared anyway you want. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Prices are on the higher end for the area but worth it and great service. Lots of nice shops in the area to walk around before or after.

This was without a doubt the highlight of our trip to Çeşme. Agrilia offers a delightful blend of excellent food, superb wine, and a unique dining atmosphere. The open kitchen concept and the charming winery setting make it a standout choice for a special evening out. The combination of great service and exceptional food and wine made our visit truly memorable. We look forward to returning and highly recommend Agrilia to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable dining experience

What a hidden gem! Chefs tasting with wine pairing this is the place. Check out Instagram for the monthly menu but this place has been here for 20 years and a non profit giving back.

We had two great nights at Agrilia. This restaurant is definitely worth much more stars and comments. It is a lovely and calm place located uptown with a beautiful view on Alacati. They serve fresh local meals, everything is homemade by a great chef. The food is really delicious compared to other busy restaurants down town. We liked this restaurant so much that we came back before we left. Thanks !!

This dinner was excellent! Best Italian food we’ve had in a long time. The pastas were superb & the setting was beautiful. Great friendly service too. Highly recommend. Also the rose was delicious.

We were fortunate to have the chance to experience this fantastic restaurant on their last week of operating in the Alavya Hotel. After six years, they are now taking a break to embark on a new location. The hotel is the epitome of style and comfort with this current venture. From sitting upstairs with a log fire in beautiful lounge chairs to our table sitting right at the front of the restaurant overlooking the cobblestone street was perfect for people watching. We could only imagine watching the people in summer with all the radiant pink Bougainvillea flowers blossoming and surrounding you in the cobblestone streets. The hotel's interior oozes style, and you are greeted as you walk in with a selection of fine local delicacies in the boutique delicatessen. As you continue, you'll be greeted with the main restaurant and bar, then you move into the idyllic outdoors, and there is a magnificent full-length pool that in summer would be the place to be when you're in Alacati. Be prepared to take on a culinary journey of unique textures, from the impressive starters to desserts, including pasta flavoured with vodka (yes, you heard correctly) and lamb cutlets cooked to perfection. They hosted an impressive wine list of high-quality Turkish wines, including all our favourites from Chamlija and a small selection of champagnes to begin your culinary journey. Unfortunately, we didn't get to do cocktails this time; however, the bar was very inviting. The perfect pacing of the meals and the chef's passion for flavours and unique and delicious combinations provide you with a divine dining experience. Very professional and friendly team, all with excellent knowledge of the menu and wine list, and were very attentive during our slow dining. The team had plenty of time to engage in great conversation, and our waitress gave us an excellent overview of the area and its history and her personal journey in life. Wishing the team every success for their subsequent tenure, we have no doubt they will continue to sprinkle their cheerful energy and deliver on their promise of superior dining to all future guests.

i had the gnocchi with lamb and i think it might just be the best food i’ve ever had in my life! the restaurant was a bit hard to find but the delicious food was 100% worth it- from the salad, to the mains, to the dessert. dark and cozy atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff creates such a beautiful and peaceful environment. i would come back to alacati just to eat that gnocchi again!💗(price was also good for the quality of food)

The place is amazing Atmosphere & setup is exquisite with sense of coziness while being fancy at same time Very peaceful and quiet Have to recommend the steaks with some marlot wine & salads, one of my top 5 steaks to remember worldwide Considered it reasonably priced (140 lira for all above plus water) Waitress was very nice and sweet; always walking with a cheerful smile that makes u feel welcomed

The best lobster I ever eat in my live and I really eat more I want to thank ERKAN SAHIN for his nice smile and super service We enjoyed our food and our time Thank you 😊
Ameera B — Google review
The food was great the atmosphere was great and the service was the best...the only thing is...they don't give you a menu...they just want you to choose from a refrigerator the seafood you want...then when you're all done eating...they hit you with the bill...which seems to be entirely up to them...and that means your bill is based on whether or not you're a foreigner...we are very accustomed to this because we are in fact Turkish citizens but we don't speak the language because I was raised overseas...so here is what we got...1 order of lobster spaghetti which they said was for two people(I thought I could've easily ate it myself) 1 house salad which was enough only for 1 person and 1 large water, for a total of...4600TL...I'm putting this information in the review for information purposes...I'm aware this same meal would've set me back about 85€ in France or Italy...so it came out to around 140€ here in Çeşme...which in my opinion is a bit high...nevertheless, if a restaurant wants to charge this amount, the least they could do is let their customers know the prices ahead of time...it was only me and my wife...had I brought a couple friends with me I'm assuming the bill would've been well over €500...so be careful as you may end up in a real battle when you get your bill...especially if you don't speak Turkish....but the food was absolutely excellent

We made a stop here on our way back from our vacation in Çeşme to Istanbul with our 5-month-old baby, and it was an incredible experience. The lobster was the best I've ever had—extremely fresh and flavorful. The mezes were also fantastic. The waiters were very polite and quick with their service. Can Bey, the owner, is a wonderful host who took the time to visit our table and chat with us. Having lived abroad for many years and traveled to many places, his hospitality and attention to detail truly shine through. If you're in the area, you should definitely visit this place. The prices were also reasonable considering the size and quality of the lobster. You won't regret it!
Ayse U — Google review
We came here because they advertised they sell lobster and the service was incredible. We only ordered the lobster pasta and the salad, and both were delicious. They gave us a large portion of the lobster! You can sit right on the beach and have an amazing view and experience. The entire setting is a relaxing and calm, truly unique environment for a restaurant.

Amazing food and amazing service. They had amazing fresh catch from the Aegean sea from which you could choose. The visual choices of the menu made life so much easier for me who isn't that great at Turkish. The staff even helped us get a taxi after we had eaten. Very generous restaurant. A must go.

Right by the beach!!! Location is awesome! Of course they have room for improvement in their services, but the food is fair.

- Atmosphere: Modernize the public spaces. I felt like I went back 40 years (and no that’s not a compliment). Interior and dining place looks very outdated and worn out. It’s a pity that the owner has not invested any money to make it more up to date. I believe that it is a popular business for a long time (with celebrities as customers) I am certain that the owner would have enough savings to make an investment for modernization and nicer decoration. The prices do not match the cheap atmosphere. Reason for 1 star. - Food: More selection of meze and better presentation of it would have been better. Meze didn’t look inviting to the eye but it tasted good. Lobster and fried calamari was delicious. Pity that octopus is only available in the weekend. Fish soup was not a success, please update your recipe. Reason for 3 stars. - Service: seemed fast with enough waiters for 5 tables with 20? guests. I don’t know how they perform when the place is full in the weekend. The serving pace is relatively (too) fast compared to European restaurants where you get the time to enjoy your food instead of being rushed to eat.

Sota Restaurant, Alaçatı – A Hidden Gem of Taste and Style Sota Restaurant in Alaçatı is a true delight. The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, and you could taste the quality in every bite. The ambiance is just as impressive as the cuisine. The design is chic yet relaxed, with a modern Aegean charm that fits perfectly with the vibe of Alaçatı. One of the standout features is the poolside setting it adds a refreshing and elegant touch, making it a perfect spot for both a romantic dinner or a laid-back gathering with friends. Overall, Sota delivers both in taste and atmosphere. A must-visit if you’re in Alaçatı.

Sota is a nice eatery at the hart of Alacati but away from the busy crowds, nested in a side street. Chef Firat has amazing selections for his guests. Their friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere in their little backyard makes your night extra special. Serif, our server helped us with the menu and what is a good choice. Thank you so much Sota.

My husband and I just had the most wonderful meal here tonight. We arrived from Istanbul where we were treated with exceptional food all week only to be surprised by this restaurant recommended to us by the Reges. We ordered so many starters and entrees and they were each perfect. Squash blossoms, prawns, artichokes, seafood pastry, fava beans. I don’t have a favorite order them all. Thank you to the staff for a memorable evening.

Food was good but they ran out of oysters (really wanted to try). Ceviche, pasta, and sushi were really good. I wouldn't recommend the salmon. We had a reservation, but some big shot closed the entire restaraunt. They almost sent us away but after pleading wihr the front man, he allowed us in to eat (in the side of the building). So I can't comment on atmosphere and I would almost give them really bad on service, but they eventually allowed us in and the food service itself was good.

Amavi, the new favorite of summer 2022, welcomes its guests in the garden of Alavya Hotel. This place offers delicious seafood dishes that are both tasty and visually appealing. From freshly caught Karaburun mussels served with citrus beurre blanc and shallots in Moules Marineden Beurre Noisette to shrimp garnished with buttered hazelnuts alongside sea beans and avocado, Amavi brings unique combinations of seafood to the table.
A modern seafood restaurant in the middle of Alacati village, serving fresh seafood with a umami touch. Both the raw and cooked seafood were top-class, the menu was well constructed. We followed recommendations of our server, which were all to-the-point. I am coming back🧿
Emrah B — Google review
The food was good, but it wasn't fresh enough considering the price. The cocktails also seemed to have less alcohol than they're supposed to. It's wise to choose items from the menu, as we ended up paying $220 for only a paella plate (which wasn’t on the menu), making it feel overpriced
Esra E — Google review
A high-end dining experience with prices to match. The concept is built around multiple courses, so the main dishes are intentionally on the smaller side – something that might put some people off if they’re expecting large portions for the price. That said, the quality and flavour of each dish were outstanding, easily one of the best meals we had during our trip. Service was excellent overall – the waiters were attentive and kind – though one waitress did try to clear our plates before we’d finished a couple of times, which was a little awkward. The atmosphere is very stylish, with a live DJ creating a great energy. The music is on the louder side, which might not suit everyone, but we personally loved it. A really memorable spot if you’re looking for a special night out

Fantastic service, amazing food. Mackerel Crudo was one of the best I ever had, great octopus, insane sushi, and cocktails. Best Kokorec I ever had. Nice ambiance.
Emin A — Google review
The food was good but way over priced. The spinach salad, crudo, and kalamari plate are worth it. I would only order apps here then go somewhere else. Tried two small oysters for 13$ each, more expensive then America. Not worth it. They sold us on this "dry aged fish", we tried it. It's nothing special and super small portion for the price given. 4 stars for the apps. Avoid other items. There's several other fish restaraunts at affordable prices.

The staff were lovely and very attentive. The food was good but not amazing however the cheese cake is incredible, would definitely have again. The atmosphere was ok, it’s just such a shame to have smokers puffing away non stop next to you. It really affects the experience. If they have to allow smoking in such a fine dining restaurant there should be a smoking and non smoking section.

Yeniyer is a popular spot in Alacati known for its delicious breakfast options and lively evening atmosphere. It's a great place to start your day with a hearty meal or unwind in the afternoon. As the day turns into night, Yeniyer transforms into a vibrant cocktail bar with uplifting music. The restaurant offers unique dishes like pistachio spread and flavorful mezze, setting it apart from other dining establishments in the area.
fistikli girit ezme (cypriot spread with pistachio) was very rich in umami flavour and was our favourite meze. Overall very tasty food, stylish and cozy atmosphere and excellent music, which creates more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant. The restaurant turns into a bar mood after 11 pm.
Helin S — Google review
Review for Yeniyer Alaçatı I honestly don’t recommend this place. The food quality does not match the ridiculously high prices at all — it simply isn’t worth it. Even if you ignore the price, the taste and presentation were very average at best. As a starter, we ordered babagannus (520 TL), but instead of serving it first, they brought it together with the main course. We asked to cancel it, yet it still appeared on the bill. Only after we pointed it out did they agree to refund part of the cost. The çilekli semizotu salad (740 TL) was also nothing special, just an ordinary salad. The mains were shockingly overpriced: Rib-Eye (420g) for 5,250 TL and T-Bone (630g) for 7,875 TL. The taste was average and absolutely not worth these extreme prices. On top of that, the local wine (Urla Tempus) they served was 4,100 TL, which felt completely unjustified. To make it worse, they added an extra 1,898 TL as “hizmet bedeli” (service charge) — unusually high for Turkey, and definitely questionable. In total, the bill came to 20,883 TL for two people, which is outrageous considering the quality and experience. Overall, this was a disappointing experience. For the prices they charge, the food, service, and value are nowhere near acceptable. This restaurant is absolutely not worth visiting.

Beautiful restaurant and food design. But the worst food I had during my 10day trip in turkey. The food was so smelly. Don't go there if you don't like very strong smell and taste of sheep. It was not like anything I've ever eaten 😭 Some of us didn't even touch the food and it was weird that they didn't ask if we didn't like the food or what? They were around us walking and looking at our table all the time though 😕 Another thing I didn't like about them was that they opened expensive water bottles for us without asking and providing us with some meze and bread which we assume it was on the house. Because it happens a lot in turkey and it's so cute. But they charged us 500 lira for that 😳 They corrected it after we complained. By the way, the cheese for meze also had strong sheepy taste. But a very good bread was served.

(Translated by Google) Hamdi Restaurant – Ilıca, Çeşme (Visit Date: Evening of August 6, 2025) Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) Overall Rating: Our dinner experience was average. The ambiance was nice, but the value for money fell short of our expectations. ⸻ 👍 What We Liked: • Appetizers: They were truly delicious. The hot herb appetizer, in particular, was the highlight of the evening. • Ambiance: The atmosphere was pleasant and attentive. • Friendly service: The staff was friendly and courteous. 👎 Things to Improve: • Kebabs: The flavor was average. My wife ordered "lokum," but it was unclear what the meat was (lokum or buftek?). The meat was tough. Additionally, the bulgur pilaf that came with the kebabs was cold. • Service Quality: Despite their good intentions, they lacked professional service skills. For example: • The beer was served incorrectly (beer should be foamless and not fully refilled). • The water service was careless (like pouring from a bucket). • Prices: Quite high, even above Çeşme standards. In this price range, more professional service and more impressive flavors are expected. Conclusion: Hamdi Restaurant is worth the appetizers, but the kebabs and service quality may not meet your expectations. Because the prices are high, the price/performance ratio is poor. It was a 3-star experience for us. Appetizers start at 400 TL, and kebabs start at 1200 TL.

Dost Pide, a renowned pizza delivery place, is famous not only for their delicious pide but also for their dostaki - doner wrapped in lavash with yogurt and tomato sauce. Situated just a short stroll from the beach, this restaurant attracts visitors who have spent time at Illica Beach. The pide here is flavorful and freshly made, arriving at your table within 10 minutes. However, what truly sets Dost Pide apart is its friendly and helpful staff.
I ordered a pide (Kasarli) sucuklu and another one with minced meat, cheese & egg (kiyma kasar yumurtali). Both were tasty! For a dessert I ordered kabak tatlisi and I didn’t like it. The restaurant is nice with a bright and cozy vibe, on a lively small road full of all kind of shops. I’ve counted not less than 15 waiters that kept on spinning around all tables and offered quick service! Its a must try resto, if you’re in this neighborhood of Cesme!

That’s a really good place to eat in Ilıca. Prices are not cheap, but they’re indeed worth it. The food is amazing, the stuff is so polite and they have English speaking waiters. Overall, I would recommend this place for amazing lunches and dinners.

One of my favourite places in Çeşme, must definitely try the Dostaki.

This restaurant is only a 2min walk from the beach so we naturally came across this place after visiting Illica Beach. The Pide is tasty and prepared fresh and served within 10min. But what really suprised us and led to us coming here twice was the staff. The owner and all of the servers were really friendly and helpful at all times. We decided to picnic at the beach and the owner himself made sure that we got everything that was needed for the perfect picnic and even invited us to come for dessert afterwards. So overall 10/10 for the food and the people who run this place.

We were passing by the Dost Pide, when an elder gentleman very charmingly told us about this restaurants famous Pide. Apparently it was the former manager talking to us as we could see his face on various newspaper and magazine papers painted on the entrance doors. This restaurant takes a lot of pride in their award winning Pide which obviously led us to order two Pide to go. The one with minced meat was delicious, the vegetarian one with eggplant was average. Nevertheless, prices are extremely customer friendly. All in all, very recommendable👍

Amazingly delicious Turkish pide! You should definitely try and see, I got the most popular “Kuşbaşılı kaşarlı” meat and cheese. Very tasty! There is a gluten free pizza option as well.

Alaçatı Kumrucu Şevki is a must-visit for an authentic taste of Kumru. The place has been serving its unchanged delicious flavors for 7 years, with commendable service from Mustafa. Despite the crowd during the weed festival, the ample ingredients and worth-it experience make it a top choice. Although prices are slightly high, indulging in their superb dove once a month is definitely justified.

Köşe Kahve is a well-established and beloved spot in Alacati that captures the energy and beauty of the area's streets. It's a perfect place to soak up the spirit of Alacati while enjoying breakfast with a backdrop of chirping birds. Situated at one of the most popular corners, it offers delicious options for breakfast, lunch, coffee, desserts, and appetizers.
A nice corner cafe and restaurant. It's in the middle of the Alacati old town. It's a cozy place. Perfect for a breakfast or a sweets stop. We tried San Sebastian cheesecake, and it was really good. Latte was good also, while espresso was okay, but not great. In any case, I would recommend it.

Cool, modern cafe on the corner of a courtyard and at the crossroads of several beautiful flower-lined streets. The coffee and lemonade we had were delicious to sip on while watching people start their mornings. The outdoor seating are covered by umbrellas for shade and the whole area is pedestrianised making it feel clean and relaxed. You may be joined by furry friends when there!

My favorite coffee spot in Alacati. You must try their coca cola mixes 🤩 they have an awesome collection of desserts. Try the cookie dough in the oven and their Turkish coffee ☕️ Also they serve an amazing affogato. The prices are pretty reasonable too compared to other coffee shops in the same area. It is usually pretty busy and crowded that’s why a few of the waiters can be a bit aloof or not pay much attention but generally the service is satisfactory. The decoration of the place is cozy and authentic 🙌

Food was alright but it was ridiculously expensive, we ordered chickpeas with meat there were 3 small pieces of meat , they charged me 350 tl . Except that we ordered vegetables with soups . 1 person dinner: 66 Euro for 1 calmar, small salad and a bottle of local wine. For such a price you can eat at the harbor with a beautiful sunset view, excellent fish and imported wine. The economic crisis in Türkiye will shy away all tourists. In Greece or Spain you will get the double amount. I’m so sad that it’s not enjoyable anymore to eat out.

Amazing food! The avocado shrimp and basil sea bass were incredible and refreshing and the grilled calamari is the best calamari I’ve had in my life. Watermelon to end the meal was PERFECT. A Seafood Gem in Çeşme If you find yourself in Çeşme and are on the hunt for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Çark Balık. This charming seafood restaurant is a true culinary haven that captures the essence of coastal Turkish cuisine, and it has quickly become my go-to spot for seafood indulgence. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the warm smiles of the owners, who embody the spirit of Turkish hospitality. Their genuine friendliness and welcoming demeanor set the tone for an incredible dining experience. You feel like part of the family, and that personal touch makes all the difference. Now, let’s talk about the star of the show: the food. The grilled branzino here is nothing short of perfection. Cooked to juicy, flaky perfection, every bite bursts with flavor, enhanced by a hint of smoky char from the grill. It’s simply the best branzino I’ve ever tasted! Paired with a drizzle of olive oil and a squeeze of fresh lemon, it’s a dish that embodies the freshness of the Aegean Sea. The mezze appetizers are an absolute must-try. Each dish is a delightful explosion of flavors, showcasing the best of local ingredients. From the creamy hummus to the zesty stuffed grape leaves and the vibrant eggplant salad, every mezze is crafted with care and creativity. They are perfect for sharing and pair beautifully with a glass of Rakı, the pride of Turkish tradition. The anise-flavored spirit complements the seafood perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. Don’t miss out on the homemade hot dishes, either. The selection is a testament to the chef’s dedication to traditional recipes, and each dish is a labor of love. The seafood casserole, bubbling with fresh catch and aromatic spices, is a standout that will leave you craving more. It’s comfort food at its finest, and the flavors transport you straight to the heart of Turkey. In conclusion, Çark Balık is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience that delights all the senses. With its juicy grilled branzino, exquisite mezze, and delectable homemade dishes, paired with the warm hospitality of its owners, this is a place you simply cannot miss. Whether you’re a seafood lover or just looking to immerse yourself in the rich flavors of Turkish cuisine, Çark Balık will leave you enchanted and eager to return. Highly recommend!

TOURIST TRAP! The service was very slow, the food was normal. However, the owner was awful. Before we sat down, we agreed on the fish prices, yet when I was paying the bill he changed the price and took 50% more on the price of the fish. Moreover, the fries came burnt and inedible, but the owner insisted that they are normal and homeade and made us pay for them even though we left them.

Cevat's Place in Cesme is a top-notch fish restaurant that offers a diverse selection of Turkish meze options. While it may be on the expensive side, the quality of the food justifies the price. The menu includes delectable dishes such as Turkish fava, glasswort salad, artichoke, and Turkish shakshuka. They also serve delicious hot starters like shrimp with butter and fried calamari.
This is the best fish restaurant I've ever tried in Cesme! Yes, it's pricey, but you truly get what you pay for. They offer a wide array of Turkish meze options. We ordered four mezes and enjoyed each of them: Turkish fava, glasswort salad, artichoke, and Turkish shakshuka. We chose two hot starters: shrimp with butter and fried calamari. For the main dish, we ordered a sea bass (around 1kg, which is enough for 3 people), and it was simply superb - probably the best I've ever had in Turkey. The waiter was also very kind and helpful when it came to choosing food. He made sure everything was okay with our meal. As of July 2023, we paid around 40-50 euros per person. I would absolutely recommend this place and am already planning my next visit!

It started out well. The owner spoke good English and was very hospitable. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. It took over an hour for 2 mains to come and when we asked when our other fish mains where coming, they said 2 minutes. We waited another 15 minutes then told them we want to cancel the order as they hadn’t even started. They tried to tell us to wait another 2 minutes but we walked out. The ratio of tables versus the tiny kitchen speaks for itself. Let that be a lesson. Additionally, the food we did get was very expensive for what it was.

Awesome fish restaurant, with a very friendly team, in a nice place directly in front of the atmospheric Dalyan Marina. You have a variety of tasty appetizers and warm starters. I recommend you to try the specialty „you name it“ with a fresh grilled fish and the pumpkin sweet dessert with icecream. Especially the last one was a surprise because I haven’t tried something like that never before. It’s also open in winter by the way where you can take a seat near the cozy fireplace and get a glass of wine. Excellent and absolutely recommendable!

We had dinner here two nights in a row and it was wonderful. They prepared the sea dishes in the most wonderful way. We had meza’s (the one with beans and the one with walnuts and almonds are really good). The fish (sea bass I think) was really tasty and the other night we had a salad with sea food and grilled squid. All in all, it was better than Ferdi Baba and many other more expensive in Alacati and Cesme marina.

Great find suggested to us by our hotel. We had a light meal of octopus, chips and melon. All the food was excellent. The owner and staff were delightful and most helpful and attentive. Tucked away below a hill, on a narrow street off the sea, the whole place becomes magical at night.

The food was bland and overpriced. The salad was probably the best of the dishes we ordered, and I wouldn’t order the salmon again. There was also a dead cockroach on the table next to us, but none of the staff seemed to care to get rid of it even though it was evident. It was there the whole time we dined and even after we left, but there were at least 5 different staff members that passed by it. However, it had no impact on my review and my low rating is due to the poor food quality!
Mariko P — Google review
I went there for cocktails with my partner. The cocktails we ordered were crafted well, presented beautifully and were delicious. Unfortunately, when my partner ordered her second drink they brought a cocktail that she did not order (my partner asked for cocktail no 6 and they brought her no 8). The server insisted that my partner ordered number 8 and we didn't want to get in an argument so she ordered a different cocktail and told the server that we're happy to pay for the one we didn't order. A few minutes later, the server comes out with strawberries in a cup and says they're on the house. However, when I went to pay, the servers asked me how the drinks were and I told him we liked the ones we actually ordered. The server then insisted that my partner order no 8 (unprompted), so I told him that was not the case. The server then asked me to tap my card and after I tapped the card he gives me the receipt, which had a charge for the strawberries that were supposedly "on the house" along with the cocktails we ordered and the one we did not drink. In short, the drinks are good but the service can be better and a lot can get lost in translation. Make sure the servers repeat back your orders and check the items you're being charged for.

Outstanding food, service and location. We ordered the ‘Filled Steak with Ginger’ and the ‘Salmon with Beluga’. Both were exceptional, but the steak in particular was the best we’ve ever tasted! Our waiter was professional and attentive and we were pleased Chef Yasin came to greet us so we could compliment him on his food. Highly recommend if you are wanting a night of fine dining. Great location to sit and people watch from the front tables, or enjoy a quieter, more romantic dinner in the back garden terrace. Wine list was also excellent.
Tiffany G — Google review
I feel sad that I have to give only two stars because the drinks I ordered here were very tasty. When it came time for a second drink, I was brought a different drink than the one I ordered. When I asked the server about my drink, he told me the name of the drink he brought me and it was not the one I had ordered. I figured he had just misunderstood me when I was ordering so I tried to just go ahead and drink the drink he brought me. Unfortunately, I did not like the drink at all as it had ingredients in it I know I don't like and would never order to begin with. I decided to just politely ask for another drink as the server had been very kind and mistakes happen. The server then brought me another drink (the one I ordered this time) which I loved! A few minutes later, he brought out some fruit and as he placed it on the table he said "this is on the house". Which was very kind and unexpected. When it came time to pay, they charged us for the drink I didn't order and the fruit they brought to the table that we did not order. We politely explained that they had brought me the wrong drink. They did not offer to take the wrong drink or the fruit off the bill so we just paid and left as we do not like to cause trouble. If you decide to try this place, be sure to be very clear when ordering here and to confirm your bill before paying. Also do not allow them to bring something to the table that is supposedly "on the house" unless you are prepared to pay for it too.

This place is fantastic! We went here twice, first for wine and snacks and the next day for dinner and cocktails. The food is cooked fresh everytime and is excellent both in terms of presentation and taste. You need to have the mushroom avocado bruschetta and the beef tenderloin. Cocktail no. 3 and 6 are great!

Absolutely fabulous food and place. At first glance you wouldn’t guess it as the restaurant’s front looks very similar to others on the street, however there’s nice ambient inner yard and food is absolutely delicious. I had the meatballs with a creamy white sauce and a Barbaros salad (if I’m not mistaken about the name) that included orange and apple — very fresh and tasty. The Barbaros salad was truly exceptional; the flavors are still lingering in my mouth — unforgettable! My husband had a dish with rice, chickpeas, and bulgur, and we both really enjoyed our meals. Everything was delicious, though I found the meatballs a bit under-salted. Considering how famous the restaurant is and the fact that it’s in Alaçatı, I think the prices were fair. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive — they even asked us several times if we’d like to have tea or coffee on the house, which I found really thoughtful and sweet.

Especially the olive oil-based dishes and meat options were both flavorful and easy on the stomach. The place is also exemplary in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. For those looking for a genuine gastronomic escape in Çeşme, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Prices are also very reasonable for the area. Barbaros salad, kavurma-beef, the baked pasta, supangle were delicious..

Respect where respect is due. I came here 12 years ago and the food today was as good as it was back then. If you need to get away from all the hype in Alacati and want some Turkish (esnaf) food then look no further. Huge selection, good location and very attentive staff!

It was clean and well organized restaurant, the price was good compared with other places in alaçaty. They had good variety of food. Staffs were helpful and polite.

Roka Bahçe is a restaurant in Alacati, Istanbul, known for its dedication to Aegean cuisine. The owner, Gokhan Safkan, has traveled extensively throughout the Aegean region to source the freshest and most refined products for the restaurant's kitchen. Roka Bahçe focuses on using ingredients from Tire, including herbs, meat, and milk.
Amazing courtyard atmosphere with great food and great service. Off the street so it's not in the beaten path and a bit more quiet and private. Our party had 9 people and we were able to get a reservation the same day and had a great time! Highly recommend it for the variety of cold and hot appetizers. The filet was also actually very good for my American friends. Overall, an A+ experience.

Cozy place for dinner. Located in a quiet winding streets just 7 mins away from the busy overcrowded touristic street. Tasty food and pleasant atmosphere. The only downside is common with all the Alaçatı spots - poor English of the personnel which may result in mistakes in orders, etc.
Egor C — Google review
We went on a Monday, had reserved a table just in case but it was not that crowded anyways. Would definitely recommend reserving for busier days though last time I was here we barely got a place. The decor is very cute and cosy, the place itself is not where Google Maps says it is, follow the sign in the streets. The staff are kind and accommodating and attentive with masks. Fried zucchini was very crisp and delicious. The hummus was great and the fried chickpeas on top was sooooo crisp, I wish they served it as a side by itself and not solely as garnish. Calamari strips were perfection, the sauce it comes with complements it very well. The price was decent for two people, would definitely go again. My American friend loved it.

An absolute gem off the main stretches of Alaçati. This is in the running for best food in town. The calamari is like nothing I have ever had before, the pork was incredible, the cocktails among the best we have had. This all in a brilliant and quiet courtyard. Come and don’t look back

Karina Alaçatı is a charming seafood restaurant nestled in the picturesque town of Alaçatı. The eatery prides itself on offering a delightful array of fresh and locally sourced seafood dishes, including grilled fish, succulent shrimp, octopus, and calamari. Visitors rave about the authentic Aegean cuisine and highlight the friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and well-adjusted prices.
This place deserves a 5-star review! The food is exceptional, specially for the fish. We had the best calamari EVER (cf photo), and we got back twice during our short stay, so we can have a nice dinner again. The staff was really nice too!

The menu selection here is quite nice - if you are in a group, it’ll meet everyone’s needs for sure. The service was good- but to be fair I was the only customer, having a very early dinner. I think the value ratio is off, it felt expensive for what I ordered- I was satisfied and the food was prepared well. They had lovely wine. I was left wanting a bit more in the flavor department. Stuffed squash blossoms pictured. I would eat here again if I were in this town.

It was my very best experience in Alaçatı, as long as I love sea food... we ordered grilled octopus and sea food rolls also cocktails, margarita and incirle, if you love sweet taste cocktail, it is for you... service was so good and people so friendly and attantive 🩷 give a chance 💞

What a fantastic meal. The most delicious meze / starters. Fish was grilled to perfection. 5 stars meal and 5 stars service. It’s also great ambiance - you can have a conversation without pulsing music blasting your ears. Away from the busy Main Street, down an alley so it’s a nice escape from the crowds.
Dev G — Google review
We had sargoz, mercan, and octopus salad — all very fresh, well-cooked, and truly delicious. The restaurant was also clean and pleasant. They did serve cold water, bread, and olives with the meal, which was nice — but still added a 150 TL service charge. My issue isn’t the amount — it’s the concept. In many places, especially in Turkish food culture, these small things are part of hospitality. When a restaurant is already upscale and expensive, charging extra for “service” just feels off — even when the food is great.

If you're wandering through Alaçatı, make sure to stop by Bizim Ev Restaurant for an unforgettable culinary experience that showcases the essence of traditional Turkish home cooking. This charming eatery offers a delightful array of dishes, from succulent seabass wrapped in chard leaves to mouthwatering shrimp in butter and stuffed zucchini flowers. The menu is crafted daily by the family matriarch, ensuring each meal bursts with authentic flavors.
Our best lunch in Alaçati, very cosy and touristic place, a trottoir style restaurant nesting in the crowded alleys of the splendid Alaçati çarşı. A place you want to visit whenever you go to Alaçati. Authentic turkish food, very tasteful and freshly served. It's worth every penny. The manager was so friendly and welcoming and so are the staff.

Honestly, this place was incredible, the food was top tier, and same for the service. Be sure to eat here while in Alaçati, you will not be disappointed ! 10/10
Daniel O — Google review
We had a very disappointing evening at Bizim Ev Restaurant. Unfortunately, high prices don't necessarily mean high quality or fair treatment. We spend 700 Turkish Lira for food that is probably not even worth half the price. But that's what you get, if you are looking for a nice spot in Alaçati to dine. The staff was helpful though and they were eager to satisfy guests! Nevertheless, we were confused by the "rules and regulations" of the restaurant. Studying the menu, we decided not to go with the main dishes that are basically international dishes to horrendous prices and questionable quality (we saw the pasta with mushrooms and cream sauce next to our table🤢). Thus, we ordered 5 different dishes of Meze (Turkish tapas), when we were told that we weren't allowed to order just Meze. We had to order at least one starter or one main dish. We really didn't understand why. So we canceled on Meze dish and ordered the cheapest starter on the menu. A lose-lose situation for everyone. We didn't initially want that starter, and the restaurant lost money as the starter was way cheaper than the Meze dish we cancelled. The quality of our dishes were about average. Nothing special. At the end the restaurant adds up a service charge. All in all we would definitely not go there again. The gap between their very high prices and their just average food quality is just too big. This restaurant is probably located at one of the most beautiful streets in Alaçati. Colorful umbrellas are hanging above, giving you a great view and perfect opportunity to take pictures. Bizim restaurant benefits extremely from this location. A lot of people are passing by. Menus in Turkish were put on tables for customers to read.

We came for dinner, just 2 of us. we ordered some starters, hot meze and 1 main to share between us. We asked for food to all come out together at same time so we can share...first they brought white wine instead of red, then they bought the food out one at a time (not what we asked for), then they bring us a dish we didnt order, then they bring us lamb chops and one piece was still raw, also they didnt bring us one of the meze dishes we ordered. This cannot be blamed on language barrier as i was dining with someone who speaks turkish and is also a grill chef so he advised not to eat the uncooked lamb chop as it was clearly undercooked. So they pretty much got everything wrong, and we were charged for the extra dish we didnt order and the dish we didnt recieve. We told the waiter we were unhappy. He wasnt bothered. we paid the full bill just to leave as soon as we good. Worst experience of Alacati

The place is very nice in the middle of cafes and restaurants, beautifully desired but the food was just average. Farm Fish merely half kg or even less with a high price tag. Appetizer were expensive and most of the items on the menu were not available. Paid bill equal to a decent night stay in Alacati even without having any alcohol and drinks.

Terrible place and expensive. Food was very bland, octopus was extremely chewy(which means not fresh). A tiny bottle of soda was 80lira. Also, They have a service charge per person of 80 lira. Just robbing you blind!!

I was blown away by the taste of the doner. It was truly something special. The service was impressively fast, even with the place being quite crowded, and the food arrived promptly. Considering it’s a touristic area, the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended!

I tried lamp head soup and Abant Kebap from many different traditional meal options, both were excellent. Staff was very friendly and service was fast. One of my best experience eating seafood in Cesme. I found this nice place walking on the seaside of the city and I really enjoyed everything of it. The service was really professional with nice waiters and the view from the terrasse on the sea is amazing. I had the 75 tl menu with sea bass and 2 starters and salad and it was more than enough. I also tried their white wine that was good combo with the fish. A lot of seafood restaurants in the city can be overpriced with not good quality but this one is nothing like that. Worst place ever ; 1h to tell us they are out of stock for pasta, 1h10 to bring us the worst Kofte i ever ate in Turkey, that was literally frozen meat and one the waiter is so non chalant, very poor service; come there only for drinks, the food is HORRIBLE.
Martial G — Google review
My family of 6 were here in the morning for breakfast. 1. Menu - half the items on the menu are not available. 2. The wait staff - Unresponsive, you have to ask them multiple times for the same thing. Do not ask them for more than one thing at a time. If you ask them for two things, they bring one, forget the other, then you ask again for the second thing you asked, then they eventually bring it after you remind them five times. 3. Atmosphere - The view is great, but I'd advise sitting at a different restaurant if you want better service.

Excellent food, good selection of meze , especially enjoyed the fried shrimp, calamari and potato salad. Good quality bonfile but warn waiter if you don't want it overcooked. An A+ destination restaurant! Amazing view, great food, great service. Seriously, the best view in town. Arrive before sunset to watch the sun go down behind Chios. All the food was truly great except for Beğendili Kebap. That's supposed to have a lot of thick eggplant paste underneath but this one was a watery green paste underneath and flavorless. Everything else we tried from appetizers to main dishes were all great, though, so I didn't even dock a star. Maybe they are trying to be creative with Beğendili Kebap so giving them the benefit of the doubt. If you're a tourist reading this, try out this spot popular with the locals to get a taste of the Turkish dinner experience. Make it a long night with some Rakı, get a bunch of appetizers and eat slowly all night and drink! Just have a designated driver because Turkish cops will have traps with breathalyzers! Seriously!

Absolutely loved our dinner at Horasan! The seafood was incredibly fresh, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. A must-visit spot in Alaçatı for a memorable evening.
BK — Google review
The atmosphere is amazing (no loud music, very peaceful, beautiful seating in an interior garden, not too crowded). The kitchen is an open kitchen so you can partially see the process. For the mezzes, we recommend shrimp with cranberries and sea beans. The salad was also good (it wasn't drenched in oil and they had an excellent olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic ratio it was delicious!!!) The grilled octopus was tasty. The mussels in white wine sauce is incredible! However, the mussels are rather small (really small!) but it might be dependent on luck. The crayfish (you can see from the photo) was so difficult to eat. Little to no meat is inside, so it's not worth it if you're not patient. I would recommend having shrimp instead. If you're up for it, you can try a langoustine (all seafood are from this region so you cannot go wrong with it!!!) Price-wise it was a bit too expensive. However, the atmosphere is sooo worth it! As for the dessert, the lemon and almond pudding I wouldn't recommend. (I had no expectations but I believe the mastic pudding with cinnamon would be a better choice and a classic).

One of the classics of Çeşme Ilıca to eat "Kumru yengen" with I think new owners. Unfortunately portions get smaller while prices get higher, probably due to be able to manage the economy. Service is super fast as always.

YEK, a charming eatery in the region, offers a mix of positives and negatives. While their toilets are untidy and the translated menu contains errors, it must be commended for its exceptional service amidst competitors. The cuisine is delectable, although occasionally with inaccurately cooked meat. The ambiance is delightful and pleasantly uncrowded; however, the cutlery quality leaves much to be desired.
Dishes was great. I congratulate the young chef and his team in the kitchen.the waitstaff was also so polite.Good spot in Alacati. We were surprised of being told service fee isn't distributed to employees, and we can let tip under the plate.

Where to start? When we first got there (which was hard due to poor signaling and locals having no knowledge of the place) we were greeted by an employee who presented us to our table. Who then endlessly pushed menu items to us and almost directly refused certain items on it. Just to get some bread and olive oil took almost 1 hour to turn up. The food (entrées) took 1:30 hours to crawl their way to the table. We had asked for a lemonade and then were delivered a cocktail of 5 different fruits that was way too sweet. Hope you like candle light dinners because even that is not enough, as the lights kept going out and the only alternative was the torch from the iPhone. The main courses turned up almost 2 hours after we arrived and it took them 2:15 hours to prepare a steak and four potatoes. After we asked for medium they came up well done, tough and burned tasting. Other items came up cold. Waiters put a little dummy act to try to keep us from leaving, which was rather enfuriating. Not to talk about the 870 TL price. Would rather spend them on taxes.

A nice restaurant with some faults. Messy toilets, the only good service I have seen in the region, wrong translated menu, delicious food, wrong cooked meat, great atmosphere, not so crowded, low quality cutlery, the most expensive I have seen in the region, cocktails are with good ingredients but prepared by people who are not familiar with the cocktail culture - they are upper-mediocre. Verdict: I had higher hopes but I don't regret it, it was a great night.

This place is really beautiful and quiet. The food was amazing - but the dessert not exceptional- however the prices are really high. For a gastronomic restaurant prices for food was quite ok (690TL ~ 40€/personne) but 300TL (20€) for a cocktail is way tooo expensive. Even in a gastronomic in Paris, cocktails are cheaper. Unfortunatly the high price reduced the beauty of the experience.

Visited from Amsterdam - view is great but that’s it. Service is very average and food is poor to bad. They get away with it because of the location and view but everything else is not worth it. Only 1 white wine by the glass (€5 bottle retail) chardonnay. Pretty big disappointment. Hope this helps.

We went to a restaurant in the middle of nowhere and then we started to realize something was wrong. We called the waiter and the employee “made us“ buy a menu that took almost 2 hours to come. The restaurant was out of electricity and we had to eat dinner using the torch on our cellphones to see what we were eating. When I went to the restroom after I tried to flush, the mechanism fell on the toilet. Not to mention that the waiter was rude and made us stay in the restaurant after we tried to leave. He didn’t want to apologize and admite that something was really wrong with the restaurant. I wished I could give 0 stars.

Nestled in a serene spot away from the hustle and bustle, Sipster Restaurant & Bar is a hidden gem that perfectly blends delightful Aegean cuisine with an inviting cocktail atmosphere. Known for its signature cocktails, this charming venue offers a unique experience where you can savor expertly crafted drinks, including their standout Chilli-themed cocktails. The attentive staff and friendly management enhance your visit, ensuring you feel welcomed throughout your stay.
They do make lovely cocktails quite possibly some the best I have had. I tried 3 different cocktails with a theme of « Chilli » in each. I loved them all. Inflation has hit hard and prices on Alcohol has been impacted significantly from last year, so it was pleasing these cocktails do last a while as they really were something to savour. Staff and management were helpful and friendly. Nice quite location close to the action but far enough away to be relaxed.

Best cocktails and high quality Turkish wine selection in the area! Dishes are unique and made fresh by the wonderful chef / owner who comes out to say hello to guests. Outdoor patio seating is comfortable and relaxing. Staff are kind, attentive, and can speak English so well worth the short walk from the main street!

Located in Alacati, Ortaya is a popular restaurant with branches in Urla and Sifne. The restaurant offers a rich menu of delicious dishes and appetizers, providing a pleasant dining experience. With its charming courtyard atmosphere, Ortaya Alacati is known for its quality service and inviting ambiance. The establishment prides itself on its unpretentious yet stylish design.
Surprisingly good food. Some classic mezes with little twists. Main courses are delicious as well. We didn't have the capacity to try their desserts after all we have gobbled in a short amount of time. The location is also very good if you want to experience a busy night in Alaçatı.

We went there based on the recommendation of Banana Hotel Alaçatı — and it was such a great decision! We had a glass of La Antre wine, shared a few appetizers, and also tried the grilled yaprak şiş, which was absolutely delicious (I’ll add a photo to this review!). Everything tasted great, and the prices were quite reasonable — especially for a place this nice. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A wonderful place to enjoy good food and wine in Alaçatı. Highly recommended!
Anahita S — Google review
Good vibe, we liked their food a lot but I hope they add at less something with chicken in the menu. BUT to be far the idea of the restaurant is to serve Turkish meza .. must try the salad and the beef roll with yogurt sauce so good. The cheese with honey was a bit disappointed cause the cheese was a bit salty so you need to add more honey..
Maitha A — Google review
An absolutely perfect place in every way. The waiters are very kind and attentive. The mezes were some of the best I've ever had. They’ve made excellent use of aromatic flavors.
Zehra Ü — Google review
We had dinner there last night. The food was amazing, especially the tavuk çerkez and anne köftesi. The atmosphere was lovely, but I gave fewer stars because we had to wait for about an hour for one of the dishes. The Negroni-coffe cocktail was so smooth and lovely 💕💕
Fatemeh G — Google review
It’s a really enjoyable place. If you’re planning to order the big appetizer platter, make sure you’re at least 3-4 people—if it’s just two of you, it might be too much. They’ve tried some different flavors with the mezes, but apart from the Circassian chicken, the others tasted pretty standard. We loved the Greek salad. The lokum meat comes in two small pieces, but it was delicious. I had high expectations for the meze platter, and since it didn’t quite meet them, I’m taking off one point. If you’re in Alaçatı and looking for a quality place, I’d recommend it. If you’re going during the busy season, make sure to make a reservation.

Went here on a friend's recommendation and the food did not disappoint! Really fresh and good quality ingredients + healthy-feeling while still being interesting. Also good wine list and decent cocktails. The only thing I'd recommend them to improve is the service -- it seemed even for a late September Friday dinner, they were quite understaffed. Was hard to get the attention of the service staff, which is not very common in Turkiye. Overall would recommend and will go back myself!

The menu is a feast for the senses, featuring everything from expertly grilled fish to exquisite shellfish and tantalizing seafood mezes.
We came across this place while walking. The first impressions were already good. The prices were a bit on the expensive side and hence there was a bit of skepticism. Anyhow, we decided to stay for dinner. And what a surprise it was. Amazing service and great tasting food. It was delicious. They serve fresh fish and we ordered a red snapper that was grilled. The service was amazing. They will really take care of you. Apart from that they have valet parking. So you can just drive at the door and not worry about parking. I highly recommend it if you are around Cesme. It is great value from money if you enjoy nice views, great service and amazing food.
Robin J — Google review
Saw a 4.3 rating (and now I know that it was obviously inflated). The service was amazing. The food... really bland and just eh. The salad was drowning in vinegar, leaves completely soaked. Mussels were inedible, sent back the whole plate -2. And the rest - Calamari, stuffed mushrooms, vine leaves and shrimps were just very average. Overpriced for the quality of food received. Honestly, the french fries were the best thing on the table. We are here for another week, will not be stopping by again.
Maryke K — Google review
Perfect restaurant still giving you some hope for Turkey. Very tasty food, super clean facility, great views and most importantly genuinely kind people are running this restaurant. If I will be ever back in Cesme, will be definitely back here for Raki-Balik!!!

We highly recommend this secret “Pearl” within Çeşme. The food itself with its presentation was fantastic. We ordered a mix of antipasti, calamari, octopus and Cupra (sea bream) and it was second to none. The owner is a friendly and knowledgeable person. But when it comes to fillet the fishes, he unveils his extra ordinary skills. Wonderful experience. I would also like to highlight its delicious lettuce salat. Thanks a lot
Daniel — Google review
This is a trap!!! No prices are shown nor given (is it legal?) the waiter makes them up. So get ready for the most expensive food in the world. You can get better food at a third of the price anywhere else
Alessandro L — Google review
To be fair, the Meze were excellent. BUT bad service and not so great fish. Olive oil tasted off, when we told the waiter he just poured some of it onto a plate (like that solved the problem!) and left the bottle on the table for the next customers. Mixed up orders, Calamari came after 20 minutes when we did not feel like them anymore. Nothing was taken off the bill. And at the end, the waiter stood there until he received a tip. Management seriously needs to fix the service before we ever go again.
Frank D — Google review
Nice place, tasty fish, but I've faced the language barrier between me & a waiter.
Andrew — Google review
Went there to try some seafood, everything was too expensive even by London standards. Some of the starters cost the same as mains and double the price of the same starter in other top rated restaurants in the same street. The man who served me was reluctant to give me a menu and insisted "I will tell you the prices" which was odd. Last time this happened I nearly ended up paying £600 for a fish and a starter, didn't fancy another one of those, so left.

Nestled among the trees, this place offers a variety of dishes featuring tomatoes, peppers, zucchinis, and spices grown in their own garden. Indulge in delicious stone oven-baked sourdough pizzas and vibrant salads made with the freshest organic vegetables.
Located in a garden setting, this charming pizza place offers a very romantic dining experience. The gentle background music enhances the overall experience, creating a peaceful environment. The service is very friendly as well. While the atmosphere and service are great, the pizza itself was a bit underwhelming. The crust was little too doughy and the toppings lacked the flavors we were looking for. Also I ordered a glass of white wine which was barely filled. It's a great place for a romantic date night, especially if you're looking to enjoy a beautiful outdoor dining experience. We would return for the ambiance and service, perhaps giving the pizza another try or exploring other menu options.

We went there for dinner to try their wood-fired pizzas. The restaurant is in greenery with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. However, it’s not very easily accessible unless you have your own car. The service was fast, and the staff were friendly. We really loved the pizzas, they were very tasty. As for the price, paying 900 TL for a pizza, even if it’s wood-fired, feels expensive given the current economic conditions in Turkey. Overall, it was a nice experience, but I’m not sure if I would return.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Türkiye. I highly recommend the octopus; absolutely melts in your mouth! The potato dish is stupendous. I’ve yet to comprehend how it’s so soft and buttery inside but crisp and delicious on the outside. I enjoyed the lamb and was able to taste both grouper and the beef short rib. Everything was amazing and if possible to rate higher, I certainly would. A must to visit in Çeşme!!

The service and the venue was good The food is gourmet and very delicious. The starters we had were top-notch. However, the fish was not up to our expectations. Given the setting and the quality of the restaurant, it would be better to use cloth napkins instead of paper ones. Additionally, the wait for our dishes was quite long.

Overall, food and atmosphere was wonderful, but the were few disappointing things: First, waitress was rude and too insistent. When we ordered two pastas and two drinks, than she said like “And that’s all? Nothing else???” in very rude and disrespectful manner. Second, at the end they included in the check 10% service fee (which is fine), but in addition to that something called “kuver” for 2 persons 220 TL. Later we found out that kuver stands for fee for tablecloths, devices and water… This was unexpected and quite disappointing.

Incredible shop but the food matches the decor and history. There’s lots of ice cream in Alacati but this place has the best that I tried. Definitely on the pricier side. The chocolate ice cream was good as was the rice pudding but the baklava i have definitely had better in Turkey. I was not really able to order more things to try because there was a minimum. I couldnt order just 1 piece if Baklava unlike other places i have been to . On one day server told me 2 piece minimum and then when i ordered one portion to go the next day i assumed it would be two but i was charged 265 TL for 4 pieces and the milk pudding.

The place is a hidden gem. It is not on a tourist street and you will have to walk uphill to find it. But view is amazing. Food is great and so reasonably priced. Adam A — Google review
The view was absolutely fantastic from there and it’s probably the best restaurant to watch the sunset, however it felt hard work. I thought I’d just go and get a sunset drink, but all tables were booked by various bigger groups (mainly birthday celebrations). I’m not sure if this is the case every day or just today as it happened to be Friday. Even though there was going to be an hour- hour and an half gap before the reservations, they weren’t keen to allow me to sit down. The restaurant has odd rules. Apparently during the day it’s only drinks, but after 6pm you are only allowed to dine (just can’t have drinks, you must eat). They also have an outside terrace, but this section cannot be used after 6pm, only before, even if the inside bit is full and there are plenty of chairs outside (another thing that doesn’t make sense). In the end I managed to have a meze (but you can’t really mix and match, as they use one bigger plate, so unless you are extremely hungry or you are sharing with other people, it’s impossible to eat more than one or max two of those) and a glass of wine. The sunset was amazing. Prices are economical. One guy spoke English a bit. It’s possible to pay with a card. It’s better to make a reservation.

Arven Alaçatı is a winery that offers around 200 different types of wines on its menu. It not only serves as a winery but also has a restaurant that offers options from Turkish and international cuisines. The restaurant is located in a beautiful garden and provides an enjoyable atmosphere for those who appreciate good weather. The ambiance is romantic, with nostalgic Turkish songs playing in the background, creating a cheerful and happy atmosphere.
It's not just a Winery but the best Winery with a wide range of only Turkey Produced wines. The bottle prices are just normal, at supermarket level; not expensive at all. It's not only Winery but also a very good restaurant. The garden is really good for good weather. Its aura is very romantic and music is a nostalgic Turkish songs made us really happy and cheerful. To the ones who is looking for good vibes. You won't feel regretful👌🏻

-amazing place in the hurt of the city - staff is very polite and helpfull - food was very good - lots of option for wine at a decent price - definetely we will come back

After having had the traditional Turkish experience for many days, it was a welcome variety to what Alaçatı has to offer. Amazing food ( we had the grilled steak and eggplant/steak pasta). They have a wide variety of wines and are extremely helpful with your choice. We asked for a full body wine and they Corinth several bottle options to the table for us to see and choose from. The service personnel were amazing. We never had an empty glass of wine. If you are looking for a romantic non transitional Turkish experience, I would recommend this place 💯. Although, they do offer some of the traditional Turkish dishes as well.

Main dishes are usually pretty fine but pizzas are mediocre at best. For those who like wines, it's a safe bet as a place. The service and staff is very polite and helpful. Plus, guess it's a great place for those who don't like crowded places to eat.

Beautiful bar with an amazing local wine selection and intimate outdoor seating amongst olive and pomegranate trees. Waiters were extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations. Ended up buying a few bottles to take back. It's like an oasis in the middle of Alacati!
Yazan D — Google review
Wonderful place with a lovely, romantic garden, great music and super friendly and helpful staff! Erol the owner also a great guy full of knowledge about local winemaking. Foodwise, also good, with aubergine baklava being one of the highlights. Highly recommended!

Good food, great wine in a lovely quiet garden. Not a place to miss. Can recommend this wine.
Richard W — Google review
We've been here for a dinner as a group of four. We couldn't book a table in advance and walked in. The staff was really helpful and got a table for us without any wait. Our fabulous journey starts here. This wine house simply has become one of our must visit restaurants in Alacati. Firstly, the staff is friendly and professional. They have full awareness of the menu, have hearty smiles and positive attitude. They make you feel totally comfortable meanwhile you enjoy your night. Secondly, I should mention the atmosphere. The tables are within a garden where pomegranates hang from the trees (from beg-August). You could reach them from where you sit. Each table has quite a distance between each other unlike most places in Alacati. Lastly, the food and selection of wines. They have interesting and impressive selection of food from local cuisine. We didn't taste any beef or lamb dishes but for the ones who prefer, the kitchen staff gave us the impression that anything they would cook would taste good. A little complaint on the desserts. We didn't have any because the desserts menu was too limited and there wasn't anything special to this place. It could be a great addition to the menu if a couple of desserts which are unique to this place would be added to the menu. There are quite wide range of selection of wines which some cannot be found at any other restaurants in Alacati. The Manager/Owner of the restaurant is a local wine expert who you can comfortably trust. We are looking forward to visit Arven again in future.

Korto Alaçatı offers a unique combination where you can enjoy sushi, sip on cocktails, and immerse yourself in the ambiance of Santorini while being entertained by live music. It's like stepping into a local bar in Santorini from the bustling streets of Alacati. The restaurant serves delicious cocktails and Japanese cuisine while providing live music entertainment.
The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the cocktails were equally great. The music and ambiance were very pleasant. During weekdays, the atmosphere can be quite calm during the dinner time. Maybe you can head straight to the music.

We have just visited in 4/7/24 and Extremely rude and disrespectful staff, especially the doormen. Inside, the bartenders and other employees were equally unfriendly and unhelpful. Definitely not a place I would recommend for a pleasant night out.
Eray A — Google review
I had a terrible experience at Korto. The doormen were extremely rude and made me feel uncomfortable from the start. Once inside, the staff continued to be unfriendly and unhelpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially women looking for a safe and enjoyable night out.

It could have been nice… but there is something which truly annoys me that happens only in that kind of places in Turkey and perhaps some people won’t even find problematic. I understand people can get in if they respect a certain dress code (or attitude - whatever it means) but that shouldn’t mean imposing such a cold and condescending vibe when crossing the doorstep. And for what? An allegedly elegant and swanky ambiance, poorly imitating a Tulum-like atmosphere, with overly expensive drinks which makes anyone feel either like “I can afford it” or “I’m a dumb tourist”. Another place I regret ending up in, and it’s apparently full of them in Alaçatı.

(Translated by Google) Three friends and I went in early June. The place is located in the marketplace. I wish we'd noticed it sooner; we went after a recommendation from another venue, so we didn't spend much time there, but we had a blast during our hour there. The atmosphere was fun and well-mannered. The men and women were well-balanced. It's a Turkish pop-centric venue. Prices are typical for Alaçatı. A 33cl beer was 350 TL. 33cl bira 350 tl idi.

(Translated by Google) We experienced it last week. Melike Hanım's stage was perfect. There's no way you can go to this place to have fun and not have fun. The waiters were very attentive. But the place is cramped, and the tables are too small. Imagine how short the table was, barely reaching one person's knee. And the lack of chairs is a real shame. We went at 11 o'clock, and the live music started at 1 o'clock. We were practically on our feet by the time the music started. By the end of the night, our backs were completely broken from standing. Also, it would be nice if they conducted a security check at the entrance. Even if they did check reservations, they hadn't paid attention to this detail.

Ferdi Baba Restaurant - Çeşme Port Alaçatı is a Mediterranean-style restaurant located on the new Marina, offering a variety of seafood displayed on ice. The cold and hot starters are excellent, although some feel that the grills could be better. Despite this, the moderate prices, wonderful view, and efficient service make for a fantastic dining experience. It's advisable to make reservations in advance as it tends to get crowded quickly. The ambiance is upscale and perfect for fine dining.
Great location, great food! Prices are a bit high but totally worth it! I was a bit sick of eating seafood in Izmir so I wasn’t sure about coming here. I am happy I did! All dishes are cooked with a twist. Sea bass is my favorite for hot dishes and the seafood mix for cold appetizers Highly recommend it!

We recently visited this restaurant after hearing good things, but unfortunately, our experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment we sat down, we weren’t offered menus and were instead immediately shown the fish of the day. When I politely asked for something that *was* on the menu, the two main servers—who I suspect are the owners—were dismissive and borderline rude, pushing the fish option instead. Reluctantly, we agreed, only to find that both our fish somehow weighed *exactly* 0.70kg, which felt a bit too convenient. At 2,170 lira each (around £41), this was far from good value. The fish was okay—nothing remarkable—but certainly not worth the price. It came with a "salad" that was just a few large, undressed leaves and two slices of red onion. No olive oil, no vinaigrette, nothing to bring it together. It felt like an afterthought. Additionally, people were smoking inside which took from my experience and is also illegal. While the setting and atmosphere were nice, the food and service didn’t live up to the location. We left feeling overcharged and underwhelmed. Not a place we’d return to or recommend.

We had a lovely experience at Ferdi Baba. The location by the marina is beautiful and relaxing. The service was fast, respectful, and professional. The food was fresh and flavorful — especially the mezes and grilled fish. Everything was clean and well-organized. If you’re looking for a calm, high-quality dining spot in Çeşme, Ferdi Baba is a great choice. Thank you!
Elgun H — Google review
Overpriced and Overhyped If you’re new here, think twice. No menu, no prices shown—just a display of fish and meze, then a shock when the bill comes. Standard food at inflated prices. Plenty of reviews echo the same: it’s more about squeezing tourists than offering good service or value.
Mark L — Google review
very bad experience. First off, I ordered the shrimp tempura expecting a proper serving, only to be given one single piece. Nowhere on the menu did it mention that it was just one shrimp, and the waiter didn’t say anything either. If that’s the case, it should absolutely be made clear To make things worse, the price of the shrimp tempura was listed as 340 on the menu — but on the final bill, they charged 430. No explanation, no correction, just blatant price manipulation. The portion sizes overall were shockingly small for the prices. Again, no heads-up from the staff — just tiny servings that left everyone at the table still hungry. To top it off, they kept refilling our water without asking, and then charged us for it. No one requested extra water, and we were never told that refills came with a price tag. It felt sneaky and dishonest. Overall, it was a disappointing and overpriced experience. Lack of transparency, poor communication, and very underwhelming food. Would not recommend.
Chloe D — Google review
This place is a complete rip-off. The service is extremely bad, the food is even worse, and it’s all designed to take advantage of tourists. We paid $600 for half a fish and left hungry. Absolutely the worst experience — overpriced, bad quality, and not worth your time or money. Avoid at all costs!
Zeena H — Google review
We had an unforgettable dining experience at Ferdi Baba in Çeşme! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was fantastic — fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning, perfect for a relaxing evening by the sea. We went with our two kids and were truly treated like royalty. Our server, Tolga Onur, was incredibly attentive — always making sure our water glasses were full and that each course arrived perfectly timed. His service really stood out. To top it all off, the owner, Tuncaj, came by personally and treated us to a platter of fresh seasonal fruit and dessert, ending our meal on the sweetest note. It's rare to find a place that combines great food, warm service, and a beautiful setting so effortlessly. Highly recommend Ferdi Baba — we’ll definitely be back! I’m
Fanika J — Google review
Nicely located on the new Marina this place hasa definite Mediterranean vibe. The seafood is displayed on ice and you're spoilt for choice. The cold and hot starters are on display as well and are excellent. To be frank, as far as the grills go, I've had better fare at other restaurants but Ferdi Baba comes close and given the moderate prices, the wonderful view and efficient service, it makes for a fantastic experience. Expect to pay around TRL 1400 pp with wine. Parking is available near by.

Enginarre is a charming and authentic restaurant located in Alacati, offering the best quality Turkish and Italian food. The sea bass casserole is a must-try dish, although there might be a 45-minute wait for it. Other favorites include the cicek dolma (zucchini flower dolma) and the artichoke rice. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh local ingredients to create delicious gourmet dishes at reasonable prices.
Best food I've eaten in all of Turkey! Lots of yummy options for a vegetarian like me. Quaint little place, well worth the 15 min walk from the high street. And the hosts couldn't have been sweeter!

The food was delicious, a bit pricey but definitely worth it. i was amazed by the fact that the lady working there spoke english better than any turkish person I have spoken to since I arrived here 10 days ago.

I came here because of the name of the restaurant; which means artichoke! Given that this part of the world is famous for it I have it a try; and trust me you should too! All the dishes were amazing including the Reyhan sherbet. Defintly a must try: baby artichokes and eggplants with tahini
Bünyamin S — Google review
We had tomato salad, eggplant with tahini, artichoke rice, pumpkin squash and stuffed zucchini flowers. They were all delicious, one of my favourite meals in Turkey, reasonably priced, very friendly staff. The eggplant with tahini is incredible.

It's ok with good food but a bit pricey considering it's slightly off the main town area, abit overrated and beware they have a service charge.

Away from the madness of Main Street of Alaçatı, you can find this family run restaurant with fresh and home made food, extraordinarily tasty. Terrace where food is served is gorgeous. Peaceful neighborhood. Super sweet family. They have an amazing selection of alcoholic drinks at way better price than locations in Main Street. 100% worth it!
Susana R — Google review
Their food and receipes are the best! If you want to experience local food with fresh local ingredients this is definitely the right place ! It is a very beautiful lovely restaurant in a breezy garden, the atmosphere is very authentic simple but charming and just to experience and taste authentic gourmet local dishes with readonable prices. It is also family and pet friendly restaurant. The traditional Turkish music and the ambiance is just to taste all mezzes with Turkish uzo which is rakı :) Sarma fava deniz börülcesi girit kabak köpöoğlu are my favourite mezzes ! İzmir köfte and mantı are definitely the best in the area! Their fish and meat are also local as all other ingredients!

The service is professional, variety of mezes, red mullet taste was awesome. Pricing is 50% more than usual fish restaurants in Alacati and there is no reason for that. The waiters are pushing jumbo shrimps as each of them is billed as fortune.
