This spot is great for hanging out with friends. The ambience is fantastic, and the food is delicious. You should definitely try the prawns butter garlic, sausage chilly and chicken nuggets—the nuggets are perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The chicken keema rice is also a must-try. Service is quick, and the staff are very friendly. While the prices are a bit high, the quality and taste make it worth the cost.

A great place for beer and chill. The food is absolutely tasty and the service is fast. Parking is an issue here. If you're lucky you'll get the parking right outside the pub or else you may have to search around a bit for some street parking. The Butter Garlic Squid, Goan Pork Sausage, Ghee chicken tawa fry and the Cherry Cheese Pineapple were the best among all items we ordered. Have a bunch of friends? This is the perfect chill spot.

The vibe is perfect here for those who wanna have a beer and chill. Music is kinda loud indoors & sports is played on screens all day. The Chicken Keema Rice, Chicken Nuggets & Squid Butter Garlic is a must! Pastas & Chinese are personally not my favourite at this place. On weekends, getting a table or finding parking is somewhat difficult.

Prawns Manchurian (4.5/5) – Absolutely delicious! Well-cooked prawns with a flavorful sauce. Highly recommended. Prawns Biryani (3.9/5) – It was okay, but nothing exceptional. Could use a bit more punch in flavor. The place is on the expensive side, but given the ambiance and food quality, it's worth a visit. Would recommend for a nice outing, especially for seafood lovers!

An institution in Mangalore that's survived time by ramping up their menu and decor but still raining on to the vintage times! The cold brews are still cold and fresh! Food is still amazing and service is great. Loved the plate of Goan Sausages.

The place is cozy and full on vibe, taste is decent good for the price and the drinks are very affordable which is cherry in the top!! The service is fast and amazing … only drawback i found is they keep on playing random English songs… they can mix those up with kannada songs or at the least hindi songs!

Mangala Bar and Restaurant, according to a brief snippet on their menu, was set up in 1981 by a couple named Michael and Cecelia Pinto who wanted to popularise their Mangalorean Catholic cuisine, with its rich, vibrant pork and beef dishes. The restaurant and bar are now managed by the Pintos' offspring, and specializes in the delicacies of the community, though there are also a number of other items on the menu, including popular local seafood dishes, burgers, fries, fried chicken, and so on. Exactly the sort of thing that pulls in the crowd that was at the table next to ours: a large group of laughing and chatting people, enjoying beer and beer-friendly eats. The first room we entered was occupied only by men, either solo or in twos, mostly all with alcohol along with the food. The room beyond that was obviously the 'family' space: women and children allowed and common. We ordered several dishes, since half-portions of some of their best-selling dishes are available: pork masala (bafat), pork chilli, beef sukka, mix vegetable kurma, neer dosa and appams. Every dish was delicious, though we agreed that the bafat, pork chilli and kurma were especially good. And for just Rs 1200 (including two beers and a Coke), excellent value for money.

A great place with the retro, old styled Indian bar feeling instantly as you enter. The food is alright, though wish there were more vegetarian friendly options as well, as the menu is titled towards the non veg side of the customers. That's about the good part of things. The service is abysmal given the limited staffing, versus number of customers. The washrooms needs urgent maintenance! Overall a good place with the old style ambience but the service, facilities and food options needs revamping.

This restaurant owns one of my earliest childhood memories. From visiting with my dad to get take-out food on special occasions to growing up and meeting up friends at this spot, one thing that has remained constant is the kind of food quality that you get here, which is unparalleled in taste! I've visited this place perhaps uncountable times and have had pretty much everything on the menu, both old and new. Some of my favorites and must-try dishes are: 1. Bacon wrapped prawns 2. Pork salad 3. Chicken chilli baffath/pulimunchi 4. Squid pepper garlic/pulimunchi 5. Pork chilli/sorpotel/garlic/roast/chops and others 6. Beef chilli/garlic/65/roast and others And not to mention, 7. Phat Freddie or Goan Phat Freddie Burgers! These dishes are extremely good and a classic; you'll never be able to leave the plate empty! The service here is decent to good. Some times it gets a little busy and then it's a bit slow, but no complaints otherwise. Management are friends, so I won't say much 😛. Parking is on the street in front of or a little ahead of the restaurant and it's safe to say that there's no problem in finding a parking spot. I would rate this 11/10, if I could. I visit here with friends every time I visit Mangalore and we have a blast along with a nostalgic and sentimental value for the place. Cheers! 🍻

Gajalee is a well-known name and a good spot located conveniently next to Circuit House. The ambiance is pleasant and the setting inviting, but on this visit, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Unfortunately, none of the crab dishes were available during my visit, which was disappointing given their reputation for seafood. That said, supply issues are understandable. I was also surprised that the staff couldn’t speak some of the local languages, which made communication a bit challenging. The fresh lime soda was oddly bitter, not the refreshing palate cleanser one would expect. Overall, it’s still a decent place with potential—just not at its best on this occasion.

Located within the high circuit house area and has a good view of the low lying surrounded areas and the road below. A good ambience with plenty of parking space along the road. Felt like more of an overpriced and slow service. Even a similar restaurant in bangalore would give a better price for the quantity or service provided here. We had ordered neer dosa along with prawns ghee roast. The ghee roast was delivered initially, later hot rice and chicken gravy and neer dosa bit later. When asked why the neer dosa was so cold, were told its made in the morning and kept. Why couldn't they serve it initially as requested by us if it was ready. The chicken pieces served were not that good and was salty.

This is a nice place to eat and chill. But very pricey. Their service isn't too great and none really notices you until you shout out. Food takes time. Butter garlic squids were good. Raja masala was very little in quantity. Masala papad was okayish. Butter chicken was bland and tasted just like chilli powder paste and the tandoori roti barely had any atta. Felt more like maida. On the whole this a good place to chill with a couple of drinks and yes it does have a nice atmosphere but not great food.

Gajlee Seafood Restaurant is a great spot for fresh, flavorful coastal dishes. The seafood is well-prepared, portions are good, and the taste feels authentic. A nice place to enjoy local flavors if you're a seafood Ilover.

Absolutely brilliant location& ambiance. Coming back here for lunch after almost 15 + years.But this time the food was not amazing as expected. Everything was average - ghee roast prawn looked better than it tasted, fish pulimunchi was good but I have had much better , neer dosa was heartless. The only highlight was the butter garlic squid .. spot on and really has that garlic kick.

Everything was outstanding well prepared with good portion size. Tried the Nariyal Nirvana mocktail, very refreshing. Service was quick even during crowded hours. Fantastic sea food! This is a must try for all the seafood lovers. We ordered a variety of dishes like Crab ghee roast, Silver fish rava fry, Butter fish masala and Kane fry. Stumbled upon one of the best family restaurants in India—thanks to my ever-reliable taxi driver during a solo business trip to Mangalore! He insisted I check out this gem on Airport Road, Yeyyadi, Mangaluru... and wow, he did not disappoint. The vibes? Immaculate. The ambience? A+ for cozy-meets-classy. They serve both veg and non-veg dishes, plus a solid variety of drinks—all at prices that won’t make your wallet cry. I went for the Mangalorean Biryani (chef’s kiss!), followed by a Milk Cake 🍰dessert that made me question every other dessert I’ve ever loved❤️. Long story short: I came, I dined, I conquered. Highly 💯recommend visiting this place—preferably with your family, but even solo, it’s a treat. 10/10 would eat again With my family for sure.

Me & my friend Have been regulars at the lower level sitting area and recently visited after a long time due to the rains. Ambience was good next to the open garden which we always like and preferred to seat when we visited. But it seems now that a lot has changed.... Seems the staff are stressed out and short staffed too. The entrance was usual, Greeter ladies were there but after escorting us they seem to be too engrossed in chatting with the servers who should have attended the needs of the table - Alerting the Kaptain order taker , seeing the table was ready for the guests. Servers should have been readying the table, serving water etc. Entire lower deck was attended by two people one was a boy who definitely looked new to the job. The main Kaptain order taker was nowhere to be found and we had to wait for some time then called out to the server who was distracted by the Greeter lady urgently looking at something at their main server table , before when we could give our orders. There seems to be a misout here - a gap in the chain. My suggestion is to have runners from the Main kitchen till the Serving table at the lower deck . A server carrying six to seven bottles of beer glasses and some snacks that too several times with different items for the table is definitely too stressful even to look at . It could be disaster in the making in case the server trips with a loaded tray. Secondly we had ordered a Italian Pasta salad- Chicken - were served - Veg. That too we found that the pasta was not cooked properly- it was raw. Possibly the kitchen did the dish in a hurry and when told to the Kaptain he was saying that this is how it is served... Fortunately we have earlier tasted several salads there never have the kitchen served raw pasta. So as the old saying goes ‘As the time flies the Kings horse became a donkey’ please make changes so that the reputation is not ruined Thank you.

Liked everything about the place. Probably one of the best in mangalore. The place is kid friendly with indoor parks and high chair. We tried crab ghee roast and it was top notch. All the items were good with amazing service by staff.

Really good ambience. It gives the entire English pub and brewery feels. Although it's kind of weird how it was so empty when me and my friends went there. Food is nothing great , it's decent is what I could say. Plus it's just finger food. Although I would give it a really good rating for the ambience, amazing music collection and the space to reconnect and break a leg. Plus service is really prompt. And to all the ladies EVERY WEDNESDAY is free shooters after 8PM. ( AKA - LADIES NIGHT - EVERY WEDNESDAY)

This is by no means an English pub. The menu does not have pub food and the best they can manage is a burger or a sandwich. The furniture has seen better days and the ambience in general is a letdown. It's just another bar. I had gone there thinking I'll have a steak. A steak not even on the menu here. The staff in attendance are sincere but they are out of place in a pub. Better rename the place.

This place has wide seating areas to accommodate large groups..both indoor and outdoor seating are accessible while roof floor is only allowed when it's crowded. One of our all time favourite place in Mangalore running for nearly a decade now. Located on the 5th floor of City Centre next to Spar. The staff, service and the food here is impeccable. Menu is almost the same since the beginning. My most favourite dish here is the Veg Kodarnglow

Food is good. But here you get many cool options. Like burgers and Frankys and rolls You should try that phat Freddy something something. It's good. Food and drinks are over priced. And every time you go here it will be a bit more over priced than the last time they over priced. It's air-conditioned and smokers have a separate room to smoke. Or I think now it's outside. Anyway you won't breathe anyone else's smoke here. Sitting area is nice. Washroom is clean. This place is popular for the entertainment. They have lot of live music kareoke and all such kind of things. Entertaining place. Music is good. There is no parking . Pray to God and leave your car somewhere nearby and hope nobody crashes into it accidentally. Overall an eveteraining place.

Went there for lunch after Google recommendation among top veg thaliss. Disappointed by their special thali. Tomato soup was way too sweet and the bread pieces inside it are too hard. Except poori and koorma other items taste was average. No sambar. Huli and rasam weren't that good. Sweet kesari also didn't appeal. Service was ok. They have to up their game in taste and pricing to remain popular.

Sagar Ratna has been a reliable place for dining with family, especially for breakfast, for many years. They have maintained consistency in their food, which I would describe as decent. My regular picks are vada, buns, idli, dosa varieties, South Indian meals, and some Indo-Chinese dishes like cauliflower Manchurian. The service is good staff are polite and prompt. At times, I’ve noticed the tables not cleaned properly, but they are quick to clean them again on request. Valet parking is available, which is convenient. Overall, it’s a dependable spot for a satisfying meal with family.

One of the Best Veg Restaurants in Mangalore Sagar Ratna at The Ocean Pearl is hands down one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Mangalore. We’ve visited multiple times — with family, friends, and even for small celebrations. The quality of food and the overall experience has always been top class. Our all-time favourite is their Paneer Ghee Roast — the flavour is just perfect. Their dosa varieties, especially during breakfast and dinner, are also amazing. Everything tastes fresh, and the portion sizes are good too. The place is neat, well maintained, and has a nice family-friendly atmosphere. Service is usually polite and fast, but during peak hours, especially weekends, it can get really crowded. Sometimes you may have to wait to get a table, but it’s worth it. The staff is courteous and handles the rush well. We also like that they maintain cleanliness and consistency, which makes us keep coming back. South Indian and North Indian food available here. The North Indian thali is good. But they serve huge quantity. One cannot have it. Food was tasty. Vallet parking available. But you have wait.

Had a great breakfast at Sagar Ratna Restaurant. The food was fresh, tasty, and served hot. The ambience was pleasant, and the staff were polite and attentive. They don’t take much time to serve, which makes it perfect for a morning visit. Some people think it’s overpriced, but that’s really not the case the prices are fair for the quality and service you get. A nice spot to start your day with a good breakfast!

One of the best multi cuisine veg restaurants in Mangalore.

Honest review: this is not even a restaurant. It is a small room with 8-9 conjusted tables. We were traveling from Bangalore to Udupi and unfortunately saw fake good reviews. Ordered over the phone 30 mins ago so they can arrange it on time, but when we reached, it was fully occupied and no electricity. We had to wait for 20mins to get a seating for 20 people. Then another 30mins just to get the pre ordered food. If they cannot manage the order this big, they should have said no on the phone. Then the service was from another planet. No spoons when the food came, and when asked for Nth time, finally spoons came when the food was done. Same person cleaning the table and Same serving the food. Sufferers from side table ordered 8 chapatis , only 4 or 6 came, they had a good laugh with us and they left after eating only 4-6 No prior photos from the place caused the problem. Attaching what I could capture of the huge resort for other fellow travelers.

I visited this restaurant on a weekday and was quite disappointed with the experience. The place seemed understaffed, which directly affected the service. There were no waiters available to clear the tables, and only two staff members were taking orders, which made the service very slow. Unfortunately, the food was also just average and didn’t make up for the poor service. Overall, it fell short of expectations.

I absolutely love this place for authentic North Indian food! The flavors are just incredible. You definitely have to try their kesar pista lassi and soya chaap — they’re simply amazing! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. Plus, the prices are really reasonable for such fantastic quality. Highly recommend!

We went here yesterday(26/09/2025) reading all the positive food rating for lunch, but once inside sitting/restaurant area it felt like a cheap country bar setup, very dim lights, 90s Bollywood songs playing in the background, congested sitting area like a lot of tables and sofa chairs are cramped in one place, very less space to move around between the table aisles. We didn't feel comfortable, and we just walked out within a minute without ordering and looking at the menu. So can't tell anything about the food since we did not have any, it may be good, but the atmosphere/ambience and the dim lights spoilt the mood to have food here, sorry. It would be appreciable if the owner kept this place well lit.

A complete disappointment from start to finish. Our initial phone order, which was confirmed, resulted in an unacceptable hour-long wait. We were frustrated to learn that our meal preparation hadn't even begun because a policy requires guests to be seated first—this lack of transparency or upfront communication is poor business practice. The atmosphere was also a problem: the dining room was full, dark (due to a power failure), and the team seemed completely untrained to handle the crowd under those conditions. The final blow was the food quality; it was cold, and the gravies were nearly spoiled by the time the bread was eventually served. Not recommended at all.

Perfect for relaxed cozy family time. We visited on Sunday, so of course there was a wait time of 20-30 minutes. We ordered pomfret thali, chicken thali, sea fish thali, boneless chicken Manchurian and mussel pepper. To describe the taste, pomfret thali was good while sea food and chicken thali were average. Mussel pepper was worth trying. The prices for thali were reasonable enough. We finished it with gadbad, carrot halwa with ice cream, which was okay. Overall service was brilliant and food was decent, flavourful, though not exceptional.

(I just wish their crab meat ghee roast was available during our visit — that would have been the highlight!) Find the access door from the side road to the family restaurant.

I recently visited this restaurant and tried a few dishes. The chicken tawa fry tasted very similar to fish tawa fry. However, the garlic fried rice was really delicious, and the lemon coriander soup was thick, flavorful, and tasty. We had reached the restaurant early, so it wasn’t crowded when we entered. But by the time we finished our meal and were leaving, many people were waiting outside to get in. That shows how popular the place is!

Another fantastic food experience in Mangalore! The seafood scene here never fails to impress, and this time we visited Tandoor Mangalore—what a treat! We went all in on their enormous seafood platter, and it was absolutely worth it. Every bite was packed with flavor, especially the prawns ghee roast and the rava-fried fish—both were standout dishes. We also tried their chicken lollipop and tandoori chicken, both cooked to perfection. But what truly stole the show was their calamari in garlic and white sauce—so good, I’m already looking forward to going back just for that! A chilled beer on the side made the whole experience even better. The ambience is classy and welcoming, and the staff really go the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable. Parking is a bit tight, but they’ve got valet service, which is a big plus. All in all, this place is a must-visit for any seafood lover in Mangalore. Can’t wait for my next trip back!

Tried the fish thali today and it was a delightful experience! The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The thali included a good variety of sides variety of fish, rice, sambar, rasam, pickle, and a crisp papad which complemented the main dish well. The portion size was generous and satisfying. Great value for money, especially for seafood lovers

Not really satisfied with the food. We ordered boneless chicken kababs and what they brought was something similar to chicken 65. Initially they didnt provide any sauce or chutney as accompaniment, and we had to ask for mint chutney. We placed an order for Chicken Kadai and they brought Chicken Kolhapuri. Tried their butter chicken, Fish fry, Chicken fried rice and Egg Burji. Egg Burji turned out to be too salty. All other dishes were average. Almost all the dishes were overpriced. Service was good and the place was neatly maintained.

I was really looking forward to trying the seafood boil bucket, but it was a big letdown. The dish had way too many fillers like potatoes, mushrooms, cauliflower, broccoli, and baby corn — hardly felt like a seafood dish. It was supposed to be a ghee roast, but there was no aroma or taste of ghee at all. Instead, it seemed like it was cooked in coconut oil, which completely changed the flavor. For the price, I expected much better quality and authenticity. Definitely not what I was hoping for. It's looks more like clam ghee roast. Paid Rs.3800/- not worth it...

Don’t bother visiting. The food is as bad as the service. I was served what I am sure was a 2 day old bangude curry. Please skip this place for your own good.

The restaurant had a very nice ambience, making it a pleasant place to eat. While the quality of the food varied, some dishes stood out positively, whereas others fell short of expectations. The Chicken Urval was exceptionally delicious and is highly recommended for anyone visiting. However, the Chicken Biryani was merely average, lacking the distinct flavors one might anticipate from such a dish. Furthermore, the condiments served, including the green chutney and some kind of sauce, seemed to have lost their freshness and flavor. The condition of the bowl and spoon provided for the soup was also disappointing, as they appeared old and were covered with numerous scratches. Additionally, we tried the Fish Masala Fry, which unfortunately did not meet our expectations. The dish was notably under-seasoned, with insufficient salt and a general lack of flavor that left it tasting quite bland.

We recently had a visit to this restaurant and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The service was abysmal, with wait times stretching far beyond acceptable limits. The taste of the dishes was merely average and could certainly be improved. Significant improvements in taste and service are necessary before I'd consider returning or recommending it to others.

Located in ballalbagh near City cooperation office. Provides delicious South Indian food. But I wouldn’t recommend the American chop suey as it was very sweet and tasted bad. The chicken sweet corn soup and chicken lollipop was decent enough. The service was good. Their desserts were really good and affordable Do try their custard ice cream and chocolate brownie.

Hotel Food Lands is a restaurant located on MG Road. It has been in business for at least two decades.  During my college years, I remember the ambiance was not too family friendly, so I never got a chance to visit with my girl classmates.  However, over the past four years, I have been visiting Foodlands at least once or twice a month with family or friends - especially those visiting from out of town. On the ground floor, the ambiance is bright and the seating arrangement is spacious.  Hotel Food Lands also has a Family Room in case you want to enjoy a nice wholesome meal with your loved ones, talk loudly, eat, drink and be merry without disturbing others. In the month of April, some of my college friends thought of meeting up as it had been a long time.  We wanted to eat lunch at a place where many of us have not visited before and at the same time, choose a place where we could sit leisurely and enjoy our meal. We shared a list of places and finally chose Hotel Food Lands. There were 7 of us that afternoon - Three Vegetarians and Four Non Vegetarians.  So we ordered a wide array of dishes to suit all of our taste buds! Beverages: To refresh us and tone down the spice quotient, we ordered the following two beverages.  They were served in a tall glass and we felt so energized after taking the first sip: Mint Lime Soda Fresh Lime Paneer Ghee Roast - While in the Coastal City, eating Ghee Roast is Mandatory! Whether it is Paneer or Chicken, this is a appetizer you must order.  Looking at the rich color of the masala will make your mouth water.  The dish is semi spicy so ensure you tone down the heat with some water or a tall refreshing glass of Fresh Lime Soda. Egg Manchurian - The eggetarians devoured on the second appetizer. It was loaded with slit green chillies, onions capsicum and peppercorns.  The egg was soft and well cooked. Baby Corn Manchurian - The contents of this dish were the same as the previous one. The only difference is this was with Baby Corn.  It was lip smacking delicious. Masala Papad - This popular appetizer is the hit of any party.  Crunchy, because of the papad and onions and sweet, thanks to the tomatoes and coriander leaves.  One bite is not enough and you will feel like eating more and more. Anjal Masala Fry - One of the reasons people love visiting Foodlands is because of their Seafood.  The number of items are so long, that you will be wondering which dish and fish to order.  Hands down, everyone decided to order the Anjal Masala Fry.  The fish was soft and masala was generously coated and fried to perfection.  One portion of this fish can be shared between two people. Paneer Butter Masala - Whenever I have to order a Paneer Dish, I normally order  Paneer Butter Masala.  The Paneer Pieces were cut into bite size cubes, and were soft and juicy in every bite.  The gravy was thick and loaded with flavor. You can pair this dish with a bread or rice item. Mushroom Kadai - We thought of ordering another main course in case the Paneer Butter Masala was not sufficient.  However the portions are quite hearty and just enough for three to four people.  The mushrooms in the dish were roasted and had a robust flavour.  The gravy was not too thick or thin.  Bursting with lots of flavour, this dish teamed up well with the Butter Kulcha. Butter Kulcha - The Kulcha was soft, warm and buttery.  It went well with the Main Course and also with the leftover Masala of the Paneer Ghee Roast! Our reunion went off well. We enjoyed catching up over two hours and relished the dishes we had ordered.  The service was quick, waiters were friendly and also suggested dishes for us to order. The restaurant was crowded from the moment we entered and all the tables were full when we left.  There is seating on the first and second floor in case you want to sit in a darker environment.   I would recommend Foodlands for lunch or dinner, with a small or huge group. Ensure you make reservations, or you might have to wait to be seated - regardless of whether it's a weekday or weekend.

Gone there by seen reviews, but really good place, compared to mangalore rates, price was on higher side , but yes they are providing very good service also , only I had two complaints on food, burger bread was not good,and clear soup was very dull, garlic prawn was very good, tandoori lolipop was good, salad items are also good

Service was good. Cocktails were great. Food was good. We didn't have much food though. Just three items. Butter garlic Prawns was really awesome. Hell and Sell Chicken was spicy as they say, I agree. But if that was natural spicy, it will be good. But it had more Sauces than Red chilli. Personally since I don't like those sauces. That dish is just okay. Pineapple Cheese was awesome. Ambience wise fantastic.

We went on Friday it wasn't crowded ( would say quite empty). Food we tasted was Caesar salad( chicken cashew apple) this was really good. Drums of heaven, chicken tikka.

Recently visited Onyx and I must say this is one of the best places in Mangalore that has good food options and alcohol as well. The food options are great for both veg and non veg. The ambience of Onyx is immaculate for hanging out with friends and the food and drinks are fairly priced as well. The staff is very kind and responsive. Went for lunch during a weekday and I enjoyed the music as well as the vibe. They also have a good compound area for 4 wheeler parking just behind the building. Also, this place has good views which you can enjoy along with food :)

I recently visited Onyx Air Lounge & Kitchen and was blown away by the atmosphere and service. The lounge has a modern and stylish decor, and the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. I placed an order through Swiggy for a full biryani and they sent me not even half biryani. When I called the restaurant to ask why, the manager had the audacity to agree that they give half portion of biryani and they reduce the chicken pieces as well... This is such an atrocious behaviour from the staff and such a pathetic experience over. I would request none of you order from this place becoz they know only to cheat their customers.

Gauji kamatha was our favourite hotel while returing from nookambika, but i was very much disappointed that they served us worst food which i ever had. Soi checked with the waiter he told me that chef staff menu everything is changed for the last few months. They have a mallu chef who was was telling the waiter that " Ask them to eat if they need other wise just leave them " So next only vist this restaurant for having alcohol on

I have visited this place and had chicken thalli. It was cold and taste was not at all good. They served non-chilled beer.

Non expensive clean joint good for single or group serving local, Chinese, North Indian food. This section is non air-conditioned and serves liquor. They have a air-conditioned family unit too.

Had a veg stew with appam and Kerala parotha. Freshly made food and good taste. Will recommend it. Total bill was 800 rupees and it includes a fresh lime soda too. There was no rush and I was the only one in the restaurant so no need for prior booking.

We Went for a Dinner Buffet last month along with my family. Highly dissapointed with the food which charged around 1k pp, service was equally bad and disappointing.I suggest everyone to better opt for Barbeque Nation rather than this. Food was pathetic, prolly rotten food. Also we found a big rat outside the restaurant besides pool, which was mentioned to our server. Food 1/10, Service 2/10 , Value for money 0/10 . Though Small Eateries, however excellent taste. We have ordered chicken gravy (Roasted & Masala) including Rotis (Akki, Jowar & Raagi). Kids also enjoyed very much including us 😊. Would recommend to visit & have it there itself instead of on the go (packed & delivered). Taste is way better when having it there itself. Options of Juice is also there. We tried both Cocum and KhushKhush. All of us including kids like Cocum 😀, however recommending both 😊.

One of the first and probably only food truck in mangalore that serves north Karnataka style food. Although the jowar and rice rotti are made using a press and not traditionally they do taste good and are made freshly. The test although good does not match authentic north Karnataka food by any means. I believe It's a different taste altered to suit local taste buds. You can park along side the truck and eat in your car or can use the few chairs they have beside the trick. Taking home is the most popular choice. Try the freshly made jowar and rice rotti. Veg vutryliea are limited however they make a mean green chutney which they serve with everything and is worth trying out. Chicken options are also served and there's a pretty large crowd trying out the non veg curries. Worth trying!

I went for a takeaway and got akki roti and jollada roti with chicken green curry. It was so homely and really good in taste. Especially akki roti goes really well with the curry.

One good place if you want to have some healthy homemade Rotis. The story of the lady of Halli Mane Rottie is just fantastic and mind blowing. She is an inspiration to many women. The things I would recommend here is: Akki Rotti Thatte Idli Ragi Rotti Jola Rotti Chicken Roast Masala All these are the ones I recommend to have when you are here.

Retox has changed to recycle lounge. If you visit here for drinks this place is for you but for food I'd not recommend here. they have very limited options in the menu to chose on. Food was okay not that great. The Ambience is good and spacious, everything about place is good except for parking specially on weekends and the food too.

It's been a friend's hang out for us for three years now, we love the ambience with mouth watering food..you must try the prawns ghee roast, squid sukka.. Yummiest ever. We recently go to know village resorts are taking up the building but really hope the food taster is retained.

Good place for hangout and to chill. Place gets occupied very fast at rooftop. Food was tasty and their fish items are tasty. So must try here, service was also great. We tried their muru fish, masala papad and chicken tawa. All were good and tasty. I felt it was a bit pricey though, but could be better with the menu items and pricing.

Koddai uppu munchi & bangude uppu munchi was good, not too spicy but we'll balanced combination of ginger paste, green chillies, vinager and salt. I would rate it 8/10 Chicken seekh kabab was really amazing. Normally you get lot of spices and less of minced meat in it. But here it was more of meat mixed with right amount of spices. Everything was well balanced and grilled to perfection. I would rate it 8/10 Mutton biryani was tasty and cooked well. Meat was tender and rice was neither dry not over cooked. I would rate it 7/10 Mutton pepper fry was good. It's a Chinese kind of preparation. not much of coating on meat and the sauces were used in a right quantity. Well balanced and tasty I would rate it 8/10 Squid ghee roast was also good but it was more like a masala fry and not an authentic ghee roast. I would rate it 7/10 Service was okay and they were polite but there was a delay for sure. Overall a good experience. Food 8/10 Ambience 9/10 Service 7/10 Value for money 7/10

Roof top Ambience is not good at all! No good music played! Too pricey both on menu! Food served cold on the plate! Not the authentic recipes! Even Major hotel in City will serve better at affordable price! Ghee roast was too bitter! Some items which are not seasonal also wer not available! Only fresh juices tasted good!

I came to this restaurant with my 6 year old son and ordered Bondas ghee rost.I could feel something burning and taste was bitter ,my son refuse to eat because of its taste and smell . When I called the in-charge there and told him about this, he gave a curt reply that the food was fine. I left the food there and paid the bill.I am very disappointed with the behavior of your staff.

Went to their Roof Top Restaurant. What a lovely place. One can enjoy lovely sunset in evening while having their favourite food and beverages. Reasonable prices and very tasty food guaranteed.

SLK Bar and Restaurant is a great spot if you’re looking for good food with a relaxed atmosphere. The pork hot garlic is absolutely excellent – full of flavor and definitely worth trying. The chicken nuggets are also quite good. The ambience is nice, making it a comfortable place to sit back and enjoy a meal or drinks. It’s usually less crowded on weekdays, which is a plus if you prefer a quieter dining experience. Service is prompt and friendly, adding to the overall good experience. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in the area and want tasty food in a pleasant setting.

The restaurant on the inside feels fancy and the dim lighting is perfect for a drinking atmosphere. The rates are on the higher end but thread carefully. We liked everything except their prawns butter garlic...it was weird tasting..other than that, we had a good experience. We ordered beer pitcher and other drinks, along with various starters and main courses. The waiter were taking some time and it was an afternoon, better to order in advance so you can relax until the food comes if you're very hungry. Their peri peri fries was a crowd favourite🤘🏻 The washroom was clean and the ambience is really nice🙂‍↕️🔥

We visited this restaurant today. The food was fine and the ambience was okay, but the biggest problem was the air-conditioning. There was absolutely no proper cooling. The AC was not running, and only when a customer arrives they switch on one AC, which makes no sense. We were sweating the whole time and when we asked the staff about the AC temperature, they didn’t even know what it was set to. If customers are paying full charges including GST, then at least basic comfort like proper AC should be provided. If the management cannot afford to keep the AC running, then better to shut down the restaurant instead of making guests sit uncomfortably. Very disappointed with this kind of service.

I visited this restaurant and I was really impressed with the ambiance and good service. However, I had some issues with the food. The Crispy Chicken and Pork Chilli didn't meet my expectations, as I felt the meat tasted frozen and it was not fresh. On the other hand, the Spicy Chicken Sausage Pasta was enjoyable. I didn't try other dishes based on what I tasted I felt that the food quality has to be improved.

SLK - Bar & Restaurant is a place I used to visit often. Post Lockdown, we started ordering in. The other day, I went for Lunch and surprisingly, it was not crowded. We sat in the ground floor restaurant. Since we had to eat and rush back to work, we ate Vegetable Fried Rice, Paneer Manchurian, Paneer Chilly Semi Gravy and Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce. As you might have realized, I am a huge fan of Paneer Manchurian. The coating has to be perfect and the Paneer pieces must be juicy and tasty. This tasted really good with the Vegetable Fried Rice since the Manchurian was spicy and the Rice was mild. The Paneer Chilly Semi Gravy was also super spicy. Perfect for your tastebuds especially if you are having a cold. It will wake them up within seconds. The quantity is sufficient for two people. If we had visited in the evening, we would have ordered more appetizers. I wanted to eat something sweet as my tongue was still on fire! So I ordered Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce. One portion comes with two scoops of Ice Cream and a cute little bowl filled with Chocolate Sauce. Another dish which I would highly recommend is the Paneer Shashlik. The portion is quite big, so I can recommend you share it with another person. The Paneer Pieces have been cut into cubes and cooked in the Tandoor. As a result, the charred flavour can be relished in every bite.

SLK Located at the outskirts of the city, this place has an amazing ambience to grab a drink with friends over the weekend. They serve draught beer in pitchers as well a towers. Their food is really amazing too. SLK is well known for their best Chicken Nuggets in Mangalore. We also tried Pork hot garlic, well cooked and amazingly flavoured! A must visit place for both food as well as it's ambience. Prices are quite decent too. Also they have a separate smoking room available too.

Tried chicken pepper(good), disco tawa fry(not fresh and tasted average), bangude(mackerel) uppu munchi(average), mixed non veg fried rice which had chunks of mutton, chicken, prawns and egg(good), masala papad(average). Ambience is not that great. Table placement is congested. One of the ACs out of 2 in AC room was not working and I could see only stabiliser was on. Service was good. There was no captain. A single person was taking role of both captain and supplier. Overall it’s a decent bar and restaurant located highway side. Parking space is less and sometimes it’s difficult to find parking. You will have to park wherever you get space beside highway.

Not at all for family. Ordered chicken sukkha got only bones, silverfish was good , taste is average. Service was pathetic. AC room ambience n crowd is horrible. Cost is average.

Worst service we got experienced. Ordered a fish fry which was worst & soo bad. Rejected after the first bite. When I complained they told us we will way off & took back the order. But still they billed that item & took money for that.

Disappointing Experience after a Great Start I’ve ordered from Hotel Santhosh three times before, and the food was consistently delicious. However, my fourth experience was a huge letdown. I ordered Muru Fish Masala Fry, but to my shock, I found a cockroach in the dish. I immediately called the restaurant, and while they apologized and offered to replace the dish, I declined. After seeing a cockroach, I just couldn’t bring myself to trust their food again. It was a very disappointing and unsettling experience.

It was a really good experience having food at Santosh, the seafood is a 10/10 . Totally loved it.

The place is superb and you will get all types of liquor here. People here are very much polite and humble and also so friendly. They quickly respond if we are going inside and purchasing the liquor. The area is covered by wide number of apartmemts and houses this is doing great in our area. People dont have to go to other places. Ihad ordered some 3 bottles it was so perfect and fine there was a discount of 5%. I liked it. Finally its doing great and servimg best for their customers. Gorgeous place to walk and relax but submerged rocks and rip currents make it unsuitable for swimming or even bathing when tide is low, all you can do is wet your feet or a bit more if you are brave. The sunset view is phenomenal as the colors of the setting sun change due to ambient humidity into heavenly hues. I felt safe walking alongside the surf as the people are reserved and a police patrolled the service road along the beach when it became dark.

They share the kitchen with the nearby meals restaurant. This place has got a nice seating arrangement upstairs. If you are looking for a decent place to sit, go upstairs.

Service is good.. Non veg and veg is available... Veg food was kinda okay with regards to the mushroom pepper dry it was gud it was mixture of mushroom and garlic pieces but it was mixed with some extra salt.. Babycorn Rava fry was tasty though... Non veg food stuffs are gud...

Food quality is bad. All the biriyani masala tastes the same. And the service too bad. We have ordered the food and waited for about 1 hour and all the ordered items are not served at that time. There is no response from the waiter and we have to call him loudly to ask about the remaining ordered item. We have a small team of about 8 members. All the staff are pleasant here, I visit every week for stocks except for the aged man. He acts like he's doing a favour on you by attending you. Gets irritated easily if you ask anything. Will not be visiting here again. I have an MRP shop next to my building but I used to visit Hi Spirits as liked their ambience and the other staff. You need to either change his attitude or change him or more customers will stop coming without bothering to even write this feedback. There's another lady manager in uniform who is quite pleasant.

A dimsum platter, eight treasure soup, pan fried noodles and for dessert honey noodles with almond flakes and ice cream is a can't go wrong order here. Recently two of my friends visited this place on 22 /11 2024 evening and ordered some drink and food in the restaurant all was good while have their hotel snacks along side my friend took the mixture he get it from outside by unknowingly he ate that mixture along with hotel provided snaks ,for this one of the hotel per made harrassment by scolding my friends too badly even after they request sorry for bringing the out side snak,still that hotel person used bad language and made them harassment and extra amount has received from them along with bill and I urge management to looking into this and take necessary action for the concerned person to create a good atmosphere to the visitors and check the CC cameras also regarding this ,my friends are very gentle persons and they are professional employees too, Management should address these issue
