Finally found a spot that serves Guinness—surprisingly rare to come by at this resort! The fries were perfectly crisp, the dessert was absolutely mouthwatering, and the bartender, MJ, made the experience even better with her awesome energy. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

Nice little on mountain bar, dated but has the old big sky vibe which if fun. Had chili which was good, took awhile to get our food but the server was by herself and one person in the kitchen.
Peter G — Google review
Wow, I’m surprised I wasn’t at Dick’s Last Resort here with our waitress. We had a couple questions on the menu and she sighed and rolled her eyes at us. Food was decent, I’ll give it that. For our table of 3 on one bill, she charged us 20% tip and said “we can do whatever we want” when their menu states groups of 7 or more or split checks. It wasn’t busy either, there were 4 other tables with customers. Very disappointing with the service - maybe being a little more pleasant would result in better tips.
Kylie T — Google review
If you prioritize exceptional food over service, this spot will not disappoint you. The food earns a solid 10 out of 10. The Philly Cheesesteak stands out as one of the best I’ve ever tasted, and the fries are truly exceptional. My children enjoyed the cheeseburger and chicken tenders, both of which received high praise from them. Seating operates on a first come, first served basis. Be prepared to clean your own table, as staff shows little inclination to tidy up after previous diners. We waited about 10 minutes just to place our drink orders, and it took another 10 minutes for them to arrive at our table. Surprisingly, our appetizers were served before our soft drinks. Our beer glasses remained empty for quite a while before the staff finally checked in to see if we wanted a refill. The restaurant was bustling with locals who seemed to be receiving extra attention, which inadvertently caused delays for other guests. It might be beneficial for them to hire an additional server, especially during busy weekends.
Billy T — Google review
Nice bar located on the third floor of a building in the mountain village of Big Sky. Very nice bartender took our order and was attentive. I ordered a cheesesteak with a side salad and the order to 45 minutes to get to the table. The cheesesteak was okay, nothing to write home about. They sell shirts with creative saying on them. This place is worth a visit if you're in Big Sky.
Chad B — Google review
Got a "large" nachos (a literal mountain). This place feels like the most authentic spot at Big Sky.
Kirkwood D — Google review
Food and atmosphere were great! Huge portions. Appetizer of nachos was massive! Black bean burger was great.
Rachel G — Google review
We ate here last night. Food was delish Even my very picky eater loved his turkey sandwich!! We had the rueben, excellent and Philly cheesesteak. 😋. Quickly seated. Happy snd friendly staff Will definitely suggest to our friends and family

Montana Jack is a popular resort eatery located at the base of the ski slopes in Mountain Village. It features a soaring wooden ceiling and an antique bar, creating a vibrant atmosphere for visitors. Known for its extensive beer selection with over 100 varieties, including 30 on tap, it's a great spot to unwind after a day of skiing. The menu boasts creative burgers and all-American comfort food, making it an ideal place to satisfy serious appetites.
We ate at Montana Jack's a few times on our trip and each time they did not disappoint! I put Atmosphere at a 4 because it was too loud for me when they had live music. Day 1/dinner: Jack's Bison Burger with salad, topped with a pint of Moose Drool. While the burger was standard, it was cooked as desired and the bison patty was flavorful and not heavy. The Moose Drool is a brown ale that was a little too smooth going down. Day 2/lunch: by recommendation of our taxi driver, I enjoyed their chili with sourdough grilled cheese. Oh that chili! Do many flavors and textures, and filling! I could have done with just a half grilled cheese because it was a nice paring. Day 3/dinner: I tried their veggie wrap (forgot to take a picture of the menu). It is hot wrap filled with a whole lot of deliciousness! Be careful though, that balsamic vinegar is hot! I chose the sweet potato fries, they took were delicious! As shown, paired the meal with another Moose Drool, because it is that good! A quick shout out to their wait staff who were all so friendly and helpful!
Tricia B — Google review
Food is ok and the atmosphere is nice. They sometimes have live music. It’s nice to have an honest meal up here. Burgers are pretty good, fried are too salty, and food is sometimes a bit cold. Beers are great. Brussels sprouts had too much honey on them and were too salty. We spent $20-30 per meal.
Tobias H — Google review
I have been coming here for a couple years but for some reason this year has been an utter disappointment. We used to love coming here for lunch at Big Sky because the food has always been incredible. There is always a wait though we never minded as it was worth it and there are a few gift shops to browse next door. This most recent visit the hostess did not properly put us on the waitlist or didn't text/follow up when our table was ready and we ended up waiting double what she has quoted. The food this time around was incredibly bad and they have clearly made some changes to the menu for cost-cutting. The Montana Burger which used to be my go to order had a name change and instead of fresh avocado it now has a disgusting artificially colored avocado paste. The chili was equally bad and looked like it had been sitting for hours before it was ladled into the bowl. Prior visits this was one of my favorite items on the menu because of its cohesiveness and hearty freshness. Its very sad when a great establishment loses its shine and looks like Montana Jack’s is just another example of this unfortunately.
Theo H — Google review
Let me preface this by saying our waitress was great. Very attentive and friendly and helpful with the menu. Beer selection was top notch. That's where it ends. I don't expect much from a slope side restaurant, but this one bills itself as a Craft Burger bar. Ordered two Bison Burgers (with huckleberry compote). Wife ordered medium rare. I ordered medium. Not even sure why they ask because they came out grey and overcooked and all juice was gone. They came to almost $30 each, too! Also, the fries and sweet potato fries can only be described as stale. Next time I'll stick to the beer.
Scott O — Google review
Could be great but needs help. Fabulous old bar. Food, not so great (it's not a good sign when the staff brings in food truck takeout for themselves). Got to listen to the tat covered bartender talk about getting blackout drunk. Classy.
Robert G — Google review
Loved coming here for lunch breaks during skiing for some drinks and grub. Chill vibe and pretty good service. They certainly don’t skimp on portions and the quality/value was quite good, especially for being immediately juxtaposed to the slopes.
Aditya K — Google review
Nice bar and restaurant near the Huntley Lodge at Big Sky. They have a live music stage a good selection of craft beers and the food was good. We ordered bison burgers for $2 extra and was well worth the added charge. Beer flights are not on the menu but are offered with four samples. A must stop if you are spending time at Big Sky
Chad B — Google review
Had a great time here. A group of us went in to enjoy dinner and the live music. Music was good, food was good, but the best part was the service! Rob talked to us about Big Sky and how amazing of a place it is. He gave us a lot of local tips and also recommended some great drinks (snowplow & mezcal old fashion). I would go back but only if Rob was our server.

Went there today for lunch, our server Katie were excellent. Hospitality, drinks and food were excellent. Great atmosphere. I had the tenderloin pot delicious my partner had the fish sandwich which was good and the fries where fire. I recommend this place.

I feel for the staff here. We watched a manager dress down our waitress (behind the bar, but we heard). Then it took 20 minutes for us to get water after we were seated. We asked where our waitress was, and the manager said she was taking a minute. I do not recommend this place for anyone with food allergies, as I specifically ordered a dairy free version of the green chili soup, and the waitress said they would hold the crema sauce on top, and when it came it had the sauce. They had to remake it, and delivered it without a spoon. I then had to walk up to the bar to beg for a spoon to eat with. Not impressed.

When you ask for an extra dirty martini with blue cheese olives they will make it happen! Fantastic place and service. Thanks Ms. T and Luis (Donnie) for everything.

Just had the best experience here getting cocktails with friends for a birthday. The service was amazing and staff was so personable and friendly. This became our favorite bar of the trip!!

Food is so delicious and staff is so kind!! We had some amazing après ski snacks - miso soup, fried cauliflower bites, and cocktails. Everything flavored to perfection. Service can’t be beat. Live jazz on Friday from (Bill?) and Craig Jazz duo from Bozeman. Such happy memories! Love from NYC.

Great little brewery with a fun relaxed vibe to it. Good selection of beers with enough variety for everyone. Easy access from anywhere in town and friendly staff.

What an awesome dog-friendly brewery with affordable craft beer! I really enjoyed their IPA and their cream ale. Worth the walk or drive while in Big Sky!

Can’t help going to beehive basing every time we are in town 😆 my guy can’t stop loving on the green bridge IPA, If you have a chance to meet Andy the owner know that he is an accomplished brew master as well as an amazing surfer …

My family and I enjoyed the welcoming environment. The beer was great and the staff super friendly. I had the Czech Pilsner, best I’ve had in a while. A little tight on sitting room, but excellent location in Big Sky, MT. Cheer!
Maxwell O — Google review
The beertender was prompt with service, friendly and clearly a local favorite! We tried a number of the beers but landed in the seltzer/pilsner combo. Fun atmosphere, dog friendly, plenty of space in and outdoors.
Gina T — Google review
Fun local brewery! Hosts a variety of events and keeps the beer atmosphere fresh. They had a full list of beers they brewed. Bar was full of locals and travelers and anyone's dogs! All dogs welcome inside on a leash. Great place and a fun stop while exploring big sky!

Friendly atmosphere & great beer, super dog friendly. Pro tip: if you’re hungry grab some Moose Deli up the street and bring it to enjoy with your brew.

Perched at 8,800 feet atop Andesite Mountain, Everett's 8800 is a rustic yet elegant bistro offering stunning views of Lone Peak at Big Sky Resort. Recognized by Architectural Digest for its beautiful design and top-notch scenic views, this modern log cabin restaurant serves up local Montana cuisine complemented by an impressive wine selection. Guests can enjoy alpine-inspired dishes and a variety of beverages while taking in the breathtaking scenery from inside near the bar or on the outdoor deck.
The new chef from Atlanta and his new menu really brings an elevated menu and executes it at a high elevation. We had the pleasure of being served by Abby who was knowledgeable and helpful. I wish I could try all of the dishes. That being said, for the price, the lighting is too bright. Also, if you’re paying for a prix fixe menu, it’s a mood killer to have a bunch of kids and parents come for a hot chocolate at the bar after the enchanted forest walk. It’s not intimate enough and the people at the bar not enjoying the food really kills the vibes. They should section diners off from the bar to give them higher priority over people just buying drinks.
Sergio B — Google review
We love big sky. We enjoyed Everett but with the fixed menu it’s just ridiculous. Most of the food I did. It want to eat desert was fairly basic all for mandatory $155. Service was great. But I do not want to spend 155 for cheese a hamburger and a basic dessert. We ended up getting a bottle of wine and going else where.
Rj M — Google review
This place embodies everything you’d want from a mountain restaurant. Incredible views, cozy vibes, and good food. Fun and unique dinner for family or friends
Marc G — Google review
Celebrated our anniversary here while at Big Sky. Service was spot on. Location was great right at the top of the mountain. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. They also had really nice cubbies when you walk in for all your ski gear. Food was absolutely delicious. Get the caviar if you can.
Varvara L — Google review
Atmosphere was great. Service was okay. She wasn't too attentive to our drinks. They would have sold more if she checked on us once in a while. The food was horrible. Dumplins were croquettes, but good. My pumpkin soup was cold. Had to send it back. I got the lobster ravioli, and it was cold as well. That was reheated as well. One person in my party got the steak, and another one got the duck. They were both happy with their meals. All in all I wouldn't recommend. They removed the 2 lobster raviolis that we ordered from our check but I much would have rather paid and got a decent meal.
Laura R — Google review
High end, borderline fine dining, reservation required. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. Definitely pricey, but I felt it was worth the quality of the food and the service. Plus the chairs were super comfortable. Got the truffle fries, cauliflower sando, linguine with chicken breast, Ora King Salmon (bomb) and the soup du jour. Would highly recommend.
David — Google review
All the dishes were prepared well. Lobster ravioli was tasty but it got cold half way through even though it's served in the pan. I still liked them. The pork dumplings were a complete disappointment - they were not like chicken dumplings or asian-style pork dumplings. They were more like hush puppies with a couple of bacon bits in them (like 1-2 bits). They were dry and just tasted like bread. The manager was very kind and comp'd them even though I didn't ask. I thought our server was odd over the whole course of our dinner. It seemed like he wanted us to order quickly without offering suggestions or asking if it was our first time there (it was) nor was he attentive in any other regard. I might have tried dessert however when the server asked and I said I wasn't sure (I couldn't remember what they were), he just walked away and brought the check. Didn't offer to bring the menu to think it over. For this upper scale restaurant, I'd expect better/kinder service. Everyone else at the restaurant and ski lift to get to the restaurant was lovely.
Marisa — Google review
Really classy restaurant to sit and relax after a morning of skiing. Classy atmosphere! I definitely recommend the French Onion soup, clam chowder, salmon, chili and truffle fries. They have really good cocktails, too.

Lotus Pad is a vibrant bar and eatery in Big Sky, offering made-to-order Thai and Vietnamese cuisine using locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant was founded in 2007 by chef and owner Alex Omania, who developed a passion for Asian food at a young age. What started as monthly dinner parties quickly grew into a popular community staple. In 2017, Lotus Pad expanded into a larger space in the Big Sky Town Center after ten years of success.
This was a great stop after a day of skiing. Without reservations, they accommodated our large group. The servings are generous. The intermediate spice was spicy for this Wisconsin girl. Service was great and it was fun to see the guys in the kitchen hustling. We tried the fried duck spring rolls. They were decent but could go without ordering again. The main course was Pork Belly over rice and Drunken noodles. Some of the best I’ve had. Again my spice level is low and the intermediate spice had me sweating. My friends had the Pad Thai (easy) and said it was good. Worth the visit. Hope you enjoy it!
Jess R — Google review
The service, size, cleanliness, variety of drinks, and portion sizes were great. I would highly recommend dining here if you’re visiting big sky and in a group. There is street parking and a lot in back. Note, there are generally very few vegetables and the drunken noodles are more sweet like pad see ew rather than traditionally peppery drunken moods. There is also a 3.5% fee for paying with credit card. We had the red curry, very tasty asian sticky wings, pork belly, drunken noodle, and other dishes.
Jaye B — Google review
The food was really good. We ordered duck spring rolls, pork belly stir fry, and drunken noodles. The lavender lemon martini is a must try. It took a while to get drinks and food for our table.
Anh P — Google review
Good food & a hard working staff. Each time I’m in, the wait times are longer than you would experience anywhere else: the wait for a table, the wait for drinks, the wait for food, etc. BUT the staff was friendly and appeared to be working very hard. Overall a good experience.
Amber P — Google review
Delicious food, fast and “friendly” staff and the menu had a great selection. We tried the Pineapple Rice with shrimp (daily special) and Pad Thai. The best part, you can decide how spicy you want your food!
Glenda N — Google review
Had a fantastic lunch! Enjoyed the open kitchen concept, so we could watch our food being cooked. The drunken noodles and Thai nachos were our favorites!
Jonathan W — Google review
Ate here on a Sunday for lunch while the rest of the family was skiing. Had the red curry. Food was delicious, nice serving size, and service was good. Total charge for Red curry and coke, $26.52.

SLOW SERVICE!!! Ordered to go and waited over an hour for 2 orders of pad thai. After an hour when I asked a staff member about our order, they responded with" it's in the wok, you can take a seat" WOW...for the price and wait (& horrible smell inside) won't be back. We still haven't gotten the food at 1 hour 10 minutes. Unless it's spectacular rating won't change

Fantastic fun gem in the big sky village. Typical bar food fair with generous portions but wonderful atmosphere. Indoor outdoor stages for music, outdoor seating and great games (shuffleboard billiards and more) comfortable bar and nice seating for small or large groups. If you order tater tots pretty sure you each get a whole bag. Huge portions. Fun. Casino access for those of you so inclined.

Didn't see this place until the day we were leaving town. Atmosphere was great! Music was great! Weather was perfect for sitting outside. Service was good and good came out hot. They didn't have hot water so some drinks weren't available but overall, I was satisfied.

This restaurant is one of the few that was recommended to dine at in the Big Sky area from the Discovery Map. The restaurant has a vibrant and laid-back design, with several events planned throughout the month. The food were phenomenal! I highly recommend soft pretzel sticks. Fresh out of the oven, the soft bread just melts with the cheese fondue. The portion was just large enough to satisfy you too! The service could use a bit of work. Our server had quickly process our bill, selecting the tip and taping our card for us, before getting us to sign it off. I understand they like to be fast and efficient, but I would like to look over and process the bill ourselves. Maybe this is the norm here, but I would still like to be the one to select and dictate the tip amount. Other than that, everything else was good.

Awesome bar. Perfect place to grab a drink and listen to some good music. We were there on a day without a live band and the casino was closed, but shuffle board and pool was still great. Wish we could’ve spent more time here
Marc G — Google review
Very crowded bar and popular with the locals. Reasonable pricing (comparatively). Great views and very nice staff and patrons. It got crowded quickly after 4 pm, but the wait staff and bartenders handled it like champs. There are other dive bars in the area that I prefer, but none offer this view and convenient location.
Brad W — Google review
I did not eat here but wanted to post because the music was incredible. We were lucky to catch Buffalo Burrows who should legitimately be famous. The guy put on a hell of a show. Cheers to an awesome venue with great energy and aesthetics
J Z — Google review
Ok in the area all restaurants are expensive. I get it, but the experience should be better. Service was just ok. Waitress did not know the menu and did not bring things that were ordered. They were out of a lot of things, like draft beer. And they use plastic drink cups?? Tater tots were the best thing we got. Chicken bowl was lukewarm warm and not very large for $28.
J. C — Google review
Bartender was great. Took my order and got drinks asap. The food….holy hell. Bordering inedible. Salty, mealy buffalo chicken sandwich featuring wet bread and salty sauce. As someone who’s been in Montana for around 15 years, I understand that dining options leave a bit to be desired, but this place tops for worst restaurant I’ve been to in Montana. Bar and booze, yes, food, absolutely not.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in my life! We went with a group of 8, plus an infant, and every single person’s drinks and meals were delicious. Celebrated a birthday and got the biggest birthday dessert. Would highly recommend as a must go for anyone in the area of Big Sky.

If you want a unique western dining experience in the mountains of Big Sky try Horn and Cantle, however it did not stand up to the many strong recommendations we had from locals. Start your experience in the bar with an innovative bar menu and cozy Wild West feel. All meals are shareable which was our mistake, ordering a full meal for each of us. Bison filet very tasty but since it came much rarer than I ordered I needed to eat around center which was too rare. Filet was large enough, though to be satisfied. For the price, meat should be cooked as ordered, thus only 3 stars. Tuesday is rodeo night so it was quiet for a Friday night. One interesting menu item were the flights of wine available. Not flights of glasses of wine but flights of bottles of wine. Anywhere from 5-7 bottles, each of a different vintage year. The Heitz Cellars Martha’s Vineyard 5 bottle selection vintage years 2018, 19, 20, 21, 23 was listed at $1,500. That was cheap compared to the number one flight for $7,500 (don’t remember cellar).

If you make a reservation here, request to be seated away from the kitchen entrance. I took my mom here, after she flew in from Pittsburgh. It took 15 minutes for our waiter to greet us and take any kind of order. Sitting by the kitchen was absolutely chaotic on a busy night - waiters hustling by, shouting in the kitchen, dropping plates. I often could not hear what my mom was saying, even though we were just a two top table. Our waiter had a rushed, somewhat aggressive energy. I had to focus on keeping calm. Nothing about the experience was relaxing until the crowd cleared out at 9 pm. By then, I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. On the upside, the food is excellent and the decor cool.

I detoured here for dinner one night while road-tripping from Whitefish to Yellowstone. For starters, they get an A+ for vibe and ambiance, inside and out. It's a full-blown ranch with a gravel road leading up a hill, and horses outside, yet it still feels luxurious and cozy in every way inside. They have a solid menu; it's not super extensive but has a good variety for different moods. The complimentary toasted sourdough and butter were very tasty. When I mention bread service in a review, it's good! The elk meatball had decent flavors, but the ricotta helped elevate it a lot. It was an enjoyable starter and came out in like 2 minutes. For the entree, the cook on the salmon was literal perfection!.. super crispy skin and my knife went through it like butter. The sauce was amazing and super unique; I could eat it with anything. Overall, service was good, and it was well worth the 30-minute detour!

Wonderful restaurant on Lone Mountain Ranch! Beautiful scenery and beautiful restaurant! Awesome food and outstanding customer service! Our 2nd visit from South Carolina! Cannot wait to return!

My husband and I are on our honeymoon and stopped here for lunch because we had read wonderful reviews online, but were unable to get a dinner reservation. The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice. However, I was terribly disappointed in the service. I read all wonderful reviews online about how outstanding the service was, but I cannot say the same about our experience. Our server NEVER once came back to our table after taking our order. Drinks were left empty. Never checked to make sure the food that came out was correct. We watched multiple other servers being VERY attentive to their tables. Then we waited 30 minutes for the bill, and a different person kept walking by and couldn’t figure out where our card was. For the price, I am baffled at the poor service. Based on other reviews, it seems this is an uncommon occurrence, so it feels a bit like we were purposely neglected? This may not be the case, but either way, we won’t be back.

This place was amazing!!! We had lunch there twice and breakfast once. The staffs there are so nice and friendly and funny. We had an amazing time everytime we went there. The steak was to die for. Everything else we ordered was so delicious. We also had a ride around the place with the small cabins and saw the horses. Not to mention the view. This place has everything to make you feel great along with the foods, drinks and atmosphere!

If you are visiting Big Sky, Horn + Cantle is an absolute MUST. The entire experience is nothing short of perfection…the property, the atmosphere, the staff - Jake was our server and he was the best! The carefully curated drinks and wine selection were amazing. The dinner and presentation were mouthwatering.

Nestled within Big Sky Resort's Mountain Village, Chet's Bar & Grill offers a refined take on tavern dining in an elegant lodge-style setting. The restaurant, located in the Huntley Lodge, provides a convenient option for resort guests and visitors seeking handcrafted Montana micro-brews and elevated comfort food. While not the most budget-friendly choice in the area, it presents a suitable dining spot for special occasions or relaxed evenings.
The food and service were excellent! We had the waffle chicken sandwich and the roasted chicken sandwich and both were excellent. The prices are around $20-$30 per meal, very reasonable. While our food took a while to get to us it was understandable due to the ratio of staff to customers, our waiter was amazing! For breakfast they have an amazing selection of breakfast food (hot and cold) including southern favorites like shrimp and grits! Overall an excellent venue!

We had a wonderful dinner date here during a recent trail race weekend. The staff was incredibly warm & welcoming - checking in thoughtfully throughout the course of the meal. We ordered a great range of the menu, the Caesar salad, brisket Mac & cheese, wings and steak. All the dishes arrived delicious and hit the mark. We also know the mark-up when dining in a resort, and thought relatively marked up fairly for the quality and service. We look forward to coming back our next trip!

We came to this spot the first time, it was right before the closing time, but still were able to get a table. The personnel even stopped cleaning the restaurant. The employees here are attentive and friendly. Both times we visited the food was brought very quickly, and it was pretty good. We liked the stew in particular. The trout was also really good and very well-prepared. The beet salad was nice, and had delicious dressing. We enjoyed the experience here.

What a perfect way to end our family vacation!! There were 9 of us so we stopped by not realizing they didn’t open until 4:00. When my aunt peeked in the door Chadwick kindly talked with her about accommodating our group and helped her with making our reservation. When we arrived the next evening our table was ready and perfect for our large group. Chadwick quickly came over and welcomed us and remembered my aunt. He continued to check on us frequently throughout the evening. Our server, Jordan, AKA Crab Man, was the perfect guy for our group. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations but even more so, his sense of humor and ability to make each of us feel special is truly a talent. (And he had great photography skills too!) Our family had a variety of menu offerings including the trout, fried chicken, Wagyu steak, salmon to name a few and we all enjoyed our entrees. We started with tasty beverages from the bar, enjoyed a bottle of Daou Cab with our meal and per Crab Man’s recommendation, ended with their delicious cheesecake. It was a perfect evening made even more special by the great care and service from Chadwick and Jordan (Crab Man).

Dined in during our weekend in Big Sky. Chet's Bar and Grill was an easy option since we were staying at Huntley Lodge. Just keep in mind that it's not going to be the most affordable option in the area. We were in town celebrating my husband's birthday so we weren't as conscience about the hefty price tags as we would normally be. The restaurant is nice without being overly fancy. There were some people who were dressed up a bit and others sporting their comfy sweats. Our server for the night was Aspen and she was very sweet and attentive. Now let's talk food. The mac and cheese was good but way too much to spend on a small dish if you ask me. Nothing over the top about it unless you consider gruyere and truffle bread crumbs worth $19. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty, just not worth spending as much as we did. My husband ordered the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly at his requested medium rare. He was obsessed with the Huntley butter and kept raving about how much it helped elevate the dish. The asparagus and mashed potatoes were perfect compliments. Our only complaint was the edges were a little too charred for our liking. It overpowered the steak a bit. I had the braised short rib with absolutely zero regrets. It was tender and flavorful - hands down my favorite thing of the night. The sage honey carrots were a great touch and if I could have finished the whole dish, I would have! The portions were great. The cheesecake was light and fluffy. Very likely a no-bake cheesecake if that's your thing. I liked it, especially after a hefty meal. But my husband on the other hand loves a dense cheesecake so this was not his jam. The huckleberry topping was a nice touch. Our bill (including the tip) was a whopping $200. For decent food + a couple of hot apple ciders, it's not my first choice. We likely won't be back unless we really want another short rib.

Total vibe of a place the service was super slow but it was the day after Christmas Wood was great the host was amazing he brought chocolates to the table for kids and he was a rockstar when it came to Making last minute reservations. The food was great service wasn’t awful sure we had to remind the waitress a few times for things but it was busy. We eat fast and the entire appetizer and food took an hour and 50 mins to get through. Solid offering for this area will return.
Frank V — Google review
Service and ambiance were great. The food was either delicious or bland. It was an odd experience. For an appetizer, I got the Bison Chislic. The surprisingly tender bison paired with the chimichurri was amazing. 🤩 For one person, it could be seen as a full meal, just add a side salad or something. My entree was the double-cut pork rib chop. It was cooked perfectly and tender. It was also super bland. It had little seasoning and the apple butter and tourney plum chutney didn't help. Winter squash was also cooked well but the seasoning/flavor wasn't there. It doesn't require much, just a little salt maybe. The entree was just disappointing compared to the appetizer. For dessert, I got the dark chocolate brownie and suddenly we went back to a home run dish. It was so soft and moist and being a dark chocolate it wasn't overly sweet. I tried to finish it however I was quite full. I regret leaving some behind. 🤣 Overall, this hotel restaurant is worth visiting and trying a few dishes. Just don't get the pork chop.

Nestled in the heart of Big Sky Town Center, The Rocks Tasting Room and Liquor Store is a charming spot that perfectly captures the local spirit. With its whiskey bar-inspired decor and inviting ambiance, it offers a delightful escape for both families and young adventurers alike. Guests can indulge in a menu featuring homemade soups, gourmet flatbreads, and charcuterie boards while sipping on craft beers or specialty cocktails crafted from Montana's finest spirits.
Arguably one of my new favorite bars I've ever been to. The staff are fantastic (shout out to Richard) and recommend spirits that closely align with your preferences. Hours may or may not be correct on Google. Walk by even if you think it's closed. Prices are extremely fair. We'll be back hopefully sooner than later. Cheers

Fun spot in Big Sky with an Urban Flair! Did a Bourbon tasting from local distilleries. 1/2 pence pours at a $1 each. Pho was tasty, but had no bean sprouts. Loved the Thai Basil and another array of greasy veggies. Liquor Store had a good selection of local and Kentucky Bourbons.

Really awesome place! They have a huge selection of local spirits to sample and a great cocktail menu. They offered great recommendations and their food was excellent! If you are a Big Sky and you like whiskey, you should put this spot on your to do list.
Summer C — Google review
We enjoy whiskey tasting and this place has all Montana distilled whiskey, rye and blended bourbon options (no single malts) which was quite a treat as these brands and distillers are not common where we are from. Bartender was excellent at suggesting the next tasting based on what other whiskeys we liked. Bonus: best smoked pork lardon was found heaped on top of a flatbread. I'm putting $50-100 per person but note we also purchased 2 bottles of whiskey to go. Minus alcohol this ran about $25-50/person

We had a great New Year's Eve experience here, watching the fireworks over the mountains with a great view through the windows. The huckleberry drinks are stellar, with the Huckleberry Hot Chocolate being my favorite. Definitely not light, but well balanced. The gnocchi was so delicious!! I wish I'd saved some for leftovers. Wings were made perfectly, and the fresh cheese on top added a great kick. The salad was so fresh with the added pine nuts. Our orders were messed up in numerous ways but it must have just been busy due to New Year's Eve rush. I would love to come back at a less busy time!

Great location. Had steak and a salad Visually the steak was great and the side were very nice but the steak needed significant salt and pepper to add flavor. Waiter was stretched thin because of a large party so I cant criticize the service but they would have made more money on drinks if he had been to the table more.

We had both lunch and dinner here during our stay. For lunch we shared a smashburger - the menu said it had two patties but the burger seemed to only have one…despite that, it was juicy and delicious! The fries were amazing as well. That evening my husband liked the burger so much that he ordered it again. This time it had two patties but was not as flavorful and juicy as before. The fries were still yummy. I ordered the gnocchi and really enjoyed the hint of spice in the sauce. It was a generous portion but wish it was warmer. We all started with beverages from the bar: the Old Fashioned was great! We had the brownie for dessert and were not impressed. Our server for lunch was Finn and he was still there when we brought the rest of the family for dinner but we sat in Brian’s section - both gentlemen were attentive and did a great job!

The food was good, nothing great. The service was NOT good our server she came to our table 2 or 3x, 1 to take order 2 to drop the food and 3 to drop the check. Not sure if they were understaffed, but we give benefit of the doubt.

Ellie the server was great, the manager gal was great, would have been less stars if not for them. I’m not gonna hammer anyone more here, but whoever is making the bread for the bahn- mi should try rice flour to make it lighter and proper for a Vietnamese sandwich if you’re gonna charge 34$ for it, it needs to be perfect, pay more for better cooks in kitchen

Great place to grab a bite in Big Sky! The spinach salad was super fresh. I asked for spring mix as a substitute and it was no problem. The salad was really good. Good dinner with the family, but a very long wait for the food. We enjoyed the meal and this is a pic of the "Hog" which was a very satisfying 2 1/2 lb beef patty burger for my son. The server was attentive and pleasant, the food service was just very slow. The 25oz Cold Smoke helped soothe my irritation during the wait. Overall, Choppers is still a good place for a family meal.

My husband and I went there for a quick bite before heading back for a class. Our waiter Cameron was great. He was very attentive to our table. The food was ok. Nothing special. The fries were good, and my bison burger was a good size portion. My husband's bacon wasn't done, however our waiter did bring us some more that was done. My biggest complaint was that we got there around 4pm and they weren't that busy, but it took like 45 minutes to get our 2 burgers after we had ordered them. I wouldn't recommend going if you're in a hurry, and the burgers could've had more flavor. Maybe they should add some seasoning.
Misty S — Google review
Really nice decor and clean. The food however was pretty bad! I was so surprised because a local recommended the restaurant so strongly. The hummus was gross-dry and chalky (but also, who orders hummus at a bar? Maybe my own mistake ordering...) with hard pita and vegetables with some weird balsamic syrup strung on it. My Cesar salad was good. My husband and daughter both got burgers that both were quite sad looking & tasting. We all agreed the fries were tasty though.
Melanie B — Google review
The ONLY reason this is getting 1 star is because of the service we received from our waitress Maya. I honestly don't enjoy writing bad reviews at all, but this service was just blatantly rude. The only time she was anywhere close to pleasant towards us is when she was dropping off the check and asking us if we needed change (her tip). That was the only time we got anything that resembled a smile. I understand it's the off season (mud season) right now. We are actually visiting from a ski town ourselves where we work in the same industry and can relate 100%. We also noticed that you were the only server working and you got busy for a hot minute too so we tried to take that into account as to why you were acting the way you were, but that still doesn't excuse the short tone and dismissive way you treated us with any questions we had about food items on the menu. Once we got our food, it was actually a great deal better than the service, which wasn't hard to top! If you're willing to deal with a waitress that is on a happiness strike, the local craft beers they serve are pretty good and the burgers are a perfect match.

Great place to try some high quality meats and modern dishes. Came here with a group of 6 for dinner and basically tried 80% of the menu with dessert, multiple drinks and it was less than $800 of the total bill, not bad for the 6 of us(all things considered). Our favorites were the bison tenderloin, the elk tip special and the mussels appetizer. The only mediocre thing was the brie appetizer and the cheese cake dessert. The mussels were most of the table’s favorite, and they were really good, I just personally thought the flavors were too pungent for the delicate meat entrees served afterwards and just not sure how the flavors of the dish fits into the overall concept of the menu but as a standalone dish it might be the best tasting dish on the menu. Highly recommended for a special dinner, a little more pricey than the average but it was our last night and we wanted something special and the place did not disappoint! Make sure you get reservations though! Could not get a table otherwise. Highly recommend.

The Cabin is a wonderful restaurant. Starting from the service and ending with the food, everything was perfect during our visit to this spot. We were greeted well and the waiter was also very attentive and friendly. He was coming to the table several times and was around if we needed anything. Yeti Dogs, located in the Mountain Village near ski rentals, is not your average hot dog stand. They offer a variety of gourmet hot dogs with unique toppings like Frito chips on the Texito and a fancy take on the classic hot dog called the Yeti Dog. Catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians, this spot stands out for its budget-friendly options and convenient location. While some may find the menu limited, others appreciate the focus on quality over quantity.

This is a cute little place up at the Big Sky Mountain Village. The vibe is super hipster and very fun. Super limited seating on a crowded day. They only have 3 tables. The sodas from the fountain were flat and when we let them know the only alternative they offered was to buy a can of soda which I would have expected to be free since the machine was flat and we already paid for that. That's the only reason it's not 5 stars since the dogs were good.

A nice small and fast hotdog shop. Probably the cheapest meal option on the mountain, but it's obviously not super cheap. Only outdoor seating. The dogs are classic beef franks and they don't skimp out on toppings. A bit sloppy and difficult to eat, but the taste is great.

Best. Meal. Ever. We don’t splurge like this often but this was absolutely worth every penny. Every dish we tried was the perfect balance of unique flavor and comforting familiarity. If you get the chance don’t skip the duck confit croquettes and lobster arancini. The A-5 Wagyu tenderloin was melt in your mouth amazing, executed perfectly, and unlike any cut of meat I’ve ever experienced. Just do it. You’re on vacation. I also snuck bites in the bison ribeye and the angus tenderloin and was not disappointed. I’m not sure you can go wrong here. The sides are also very impressive. I recommend sharing the mashed potatoes or mac and cheese both are comforting and a great option if you have kids at the table. But the roasted heirloom carrots are a show stealer. I know I’m gushing at this point but I don’t care, I can’t stress this enough … save 👏 room 👏 for 👏 dessert 👏! Here is what you need to do. Order the lava chocolate cake. That’s a must. If you have a group also share the bread pudding, and tiramisu. My husband says I need to find something negative to say so that you will believe I’m a real person who really ate here, but I can’t. The wait staff was so nice and attentive. The chef even came out personally to check on us and make sure we were having a nice time. I can’t recommend this place more. Thank you for the core memory meal.

Overpriced and undercooked. $65 for local "wagyu" beef that tasted like select at best, asked for medium, came out rare, but I'm not sending a steak back in to get god knows what done. Whole place was overpriced. Chet's had better food and better prices.

We had a wonderful breakfast here this morning. Our server Rachel was super nice, attentive, and made a perfect cappuccino. I had the Benedict and it was delicious— and I was skeptical of bison sausage with huckleberry hollandaise but it was really good. My husbands pancakes were also very good. Fluffy and not too sweet. Good experience overall.

The food was just OK for the price. Had much better aged steaks. Had the tomahawk with my wife. Sides were good. They tried to sit seven of us at a six person round table. Had to ask for a larger table, and not that attentive for a restaurant at that price point.

Grain bowl topped with Tuna was delicious for my stomach and soul after galavanting through Big Sky Resort’s Enchanted Forest on a cold Feb day. Also loved the cozy dining chairs and low key jazz atmosphere of the place. Clearly a great spot for drinks at the end of a ski day too. (And it had a solid kids menu! Much appreciated!)

Wow! Out of all of the many restaurants we went to in Big Sky, this was by FAR the best! The food was absolutely top quality, ambiance was exquisite, cozy, and refined, and our waiter, Mate, was a total gem. We will be recommending this restaurant to all of our clients on their travels to Big Sky.

Visited Peaks on our first trip to Big Sky for drinks and food. Husband and SIL had the Proper Old Fashioned and they were extremely pleased while my daughter and I sipped on the yummy Filthy Chai - all while taking in the snowy afternoon. We started with the Farm Board which left nothing to be desired. Then moved onto burgers/sandwiches as a meal which were good but resembled more typical ‘bar food’ from an entree perspective. Atmosphere was cozy as we had a table that provided a great view of the slopes.

If you're looking for a quintessential local hangout, the Broken Spoke Bar & Casino is the place to be. Owned by Anderson, who doubles as a friendly bartender and community patrolman, this spot offers affordable drinks that make it a favorite among locals. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively, with fun events like Happy Hour and live music featuring talented local bands.
Upstairs pool hall has 3 tables and is always fun. 1$ per game. Live music from time to time. Drinks are solid and beer is always cold.

I know too many people to count who have been drugged here. The bartenders are NOT advocates for public safety, in fact they are instigators. Enter at your own risk. Been coming here for years but I always keep my drinks covered and never take them from strangers.

Great local big sky bar. Feels like going back to the days when big sky was a blip on the map. Pool tables, casino, and an upstairs

No food but you can bring your own. Not a lot of young kids unless it's karaoke or open mike. They scan every ID. Happy hr 4-7pm

$20 Tab and i tipped $10... woke up to $40 charge. Not the first time to happen too... keep your reciepts ppl or it never happened. Whoever the young bartender is that was working 4/7 karaoke night, You're wrong for that! And I tipped u good! And No I was not drunk.

Open mic night was a vibe. Lots of great talent. Definitely a locals joint.

I was excited to come by Monday night because karaoke is usually fun! I was confused when the lights were on and there was no music at 10:15. When I asked why there was a cover charge genuinely wondering if there was something special happening, the bouncer at the front door was very rude for no reason. I had no problem paying the cover, but the attitude of the doorman was so awful I just left. I have been there many times a really enjoyed it! But tonight was really disappointing and concerning. I hope this doesn’t become the normal for broken spoke or they will lose a lot of business.
Rebecca S — Google review
Wow. The bartender was incredibly rude and discriminated against me because of my service animal. He only repeated the words “no dogs” to me as I tried to explain and asked if he wanted me to get his service animal ID from the car. He refused myself and my friends service citing my service dog as the reason. This is illegal and incredibly discriminatory. I’m a healthcare provider with a disability and my service animal keeps me safe. Obviously wouldn’t reccomend this place.

Nestled along the scenic Gallatin River, Riverhouse BBQ & Events is a laid-back spot known for its mouthwatering smoked BBQ meats, burgers, and sides. The casual family-friendly atmosphere and stunning views of the Spanish Peaks make it a must-visit destination for both locals and travelers. Whether you're stopping by for a post-work beer on the porch or planning a special celebration, this venue offers an authentic Texas Hill Country-style dining experience.
Tried both the beef brisket and smoked tri-tip plates. Absolutely delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful, and I really appreciated the variety of sauces available at each table. They added some fun twists without overpowering the original flavor of the meat. On top of that, the prices are refreshingly reasonable, especially compared to what you’d find in Bozeman. But the most unique experience this place offers is the breathtaking view from the balcony. Especially the breeze around sunset feels AMAZING
Farshina N — Google review
From other online reviews to even the locals singing it's praises, I was very excited to try out this BBQ joint. This place has that perfect outdoor country feel that you love to see from any good barbecue joint, from rusty license plates, plenty of wood paneling, old beer signs, and bison skulls adorning the walls. On top of the spacious indoors they have a great outdoor space in the side and back that gets you a great view of the mountains too. Staff was very friendly and offered all kinds of recommendations for us. Although they don't take reservations, we didn't have an issue of waiting very long even for a party of 9 on a Friday night. Now for what you're really here for, the food and drinks. Cocktails were decent, but nothing out of the ordinary (except for maybe a heavy pour!), I got their version of an old fashioned, but it was nothing to write home to mom about. For starters we split the corn nuggets and cheese curds, both of which were perfectly fried and delicious, but if I'm picking one it's gonna be the curds every time. For a main course we split the family platter for two with ribs, but let me tell you, you can feed a lot more than two with this thing! My favorites on the plate were fried chicken, ribs, and pulled pork. The brisket was okay, but a little dry and a little thick cut for my liking, sausage was good and snappy, but unexciting. One thing to note about the fried chicken though, they only sell so much in the day, and when they run out, that's it! Even by the time we got there, they were only giving it out on the platters and you couldn't get the separate meal (which is what I originally had my eyes on), and I get why, the chicken is just that succulent and delicious. So come early! Lastly for dessert we split a cinnamon bread pudding with Huckleberry ice cream, and although I only had enough room in me for one bite, it was a bite that was every last bit worth it. Parking is deceptively large actually, from the street it looks small but there is a lower lot you can park in too.
Tom G — Google review
Delicious selection of brisket, ribs and meats in general. Great menu for post full active day. Great beer list too. Sides were also delicious. Would highly recommend as it was one of our favorites the entire week we were visiting. Would highly recommend. And the server was great - she had great recommendations and was very very patient.
Mattie C — Google review
Corn nuggets, pulled pork sandwich, and coleslaw were all delicious. Sweet tea was also on point (southern girl here). Service was less than ideal, my server barely said more than 5 words to me and I felt like I was bothering him anytime he came by the table.

Great BBQ 🔥 Great service 🍽️ Cool Environment 🤠 Great Bar 🍺 Live music 🎸 The fried chicken was amazing! And don’t sleep on that Mac and cheese 🧀 Like most pit barbecues they do sell out so don’t come at the end of the day but try everything best suited to bring a big group and share a platter so you can try it all. I added tab full menu in the uploaded photos.
Rich L — Google review
Excellent brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and fried chicken with the "family platter"! I definitely recommend that for a group or family. Corn, beans, cole slaw, and INCREDIBLE sweet corn bread and some great sauces come with, and we're taking food home! Derek , our server, was top shelf! Riverhouse is a must-visit in Big Sky, MT!
Don B — Google review
We had a great dinner, wonderful views, live music and a place for our kids to play while we enjoyed an adult beverage and waited on our food. The fried pickles were a great appetizer, my kid plowed through his cheeseburger and most of us adults and other kids ordered ribs. They were great! We had a friendly and attentive waiter who took good care of us. Would definitely go back!

Great BBQ with a cool atmosphere. We sat at the bar and were able to watch a herd of elk on the hillside. We ordered the flank steak sandwich carnie style, it was amazing! It is a must try. We also got the BBQ pulled pork plate. A huge portion of food! Could split if needed. Everything was amazing and will be coming back here!

The Corral Bar, Steakhouse & Motel is a rustic restaurant situated at the Corral Motel on Gallatin Road in Gallatin Gateway, Montana. It offers a typical American menu and serves delicious cowboy-style breakfasts that are popular with locals. The establishment features a great bar with excellent service and a wide selection of drinks, as well as tasty steaks, appetizers, and other food options.
Oh my goodness this place came out of nowhere and there it was and the bartender made a really good whiskey Coke on rocks and the burger I ate was huge and so good cooked to perfection. I loved it. And he added just the right amount of cheese and tomatoes and pickles. Not too much. Not too little just right. Compliments to the chef and the bartender for being so hospitable and professional at their jobs. Keep up the good work dudes

The food at the bar portion of the property is fantastic! We arrived a little after 9 pm, but although the kitchen closed at 9 pm, they still let us order hamburgers and fries. The hamburgers were HUGE and TASTY. I couldn't finish it even though I was starving. Great Service! We stayed the night in one of the motel rooms and there was the problem. The cost was over $200 for 1 room with 2 queen beds. The shower was lukewarm, bordering on the chilly side. The motel is a 60's era roadside single level motel with a crankstyle, clear single pane bathroom window (with no handle). Although they have great food at the bar right next door, there was no breakfast included in the room fee. Suggestion: Have hot shower water and include breakfast in the motel charge.

The Corral has become a must stop restaurant for me every time I am in Montana. Yes of course the ambiance and overall feel of the place gives you a true out west experience but the real thing that keeps me coming back is the manager Kylie! For years now she has taken care of my friends and I with 5 star service. Fun loving, bubbly personality and always has a smile on her face. Great bartender that makes you feel right at home! I give Kylie 10/10 for everything that makes a great employee in the hospitality industry.

We went here after renting UTVs and tearing up the mountains. The staff was attentive and witty with great banter. The wings were awesome, we got buffalo and huckleberry BBQ. Seriously, these were some of the best wings I have ever had. A bunch of the guys got burgers and every single one of them said they were the top 3 burgers they ever had. I got the chicken sandwich which was phenomenal. Overall, I highly recommend this place

Kylie is what makes amazing places like this even better ♥️ her kindness, humor, attention to detail, and genuine pride in her job makes every visit special and anyone who’s had the pleasure of seeing her in her element would agree. Great food, but the service is what keeps my whole family coming back all the way from Arizona!! ♥️

Restaurant and bar is great. Drink prices are better than on mountain and with a laid back, locally decorated vibe. Bison burger and onion rings are fantastic. Huckleberry bbq is also very good and the meatball, Brussels sprouts etc! Motel is also lovely. Beds are exremely comfortable and provide support if you have a bad back. Decor is very Montana lodge like. Customer service is very friendly at both. Hotel is easy after you book you get an email shortly thereafter with a room # and code.

Stopped in for dinner and drinks. Have to say the menu was good. I find the food at Big Sky and even Bozeman pretty bland normally. But this place has a great local vibe and menu that works. My only disappointment was at checkout with a 4% surcharge on credit, which I think is illegal per Montana law. I would have rather put that towards tip TBH. But I know that is above what your being charged and if it’s not, find a better bank to run credit.

With a menu featuring traditional Japanese cuisine with a contemporary twist, it's the go-to place for the best sushi in Big Sky.

Accommodating at a very high price. I didn’t want to make any fuss over being plant based but my husband asked. Super friendly and willing to make something different. I was going to be fine with what was on the menu. What we weren’t made aware of is the cost that this would come at. Almost 4x as much as a vegetable roll on the menu was a “freestyle roll” had planned on coming back many times during our visit but after the shock and disappearance of our bartender/server when the bill came it was clear I was taken advantage of. Paid the bill and gave the appropriate tip. Make sure you know what you’re asking for.

Stopped in for dinner while visiting and everything was fantastic! I ordered a huckleberry mule and a strawberry basil sake gimlet (highly recommend). We ordered jalepeno poppers, edamame, and shishito peppers to split between three people. The jalepeno poppers and the sushi rolls were huge!! Our food and drinks came out promptly. We thankfully got seated without reservations but it was busy so I’d make reservations if we go again just in case.

The food was most disappointing!! I took a bite of each sushi piece and was done, never happened in my life. It was weirdly overly salty or overly spicy. The scallop was smoother in weird salty sauce. $80 for meal mostly wasted. Would not recommend.

The open-air space is nice in the summer, so we were comfortable. The sushi wasn’t good for the price. I paid $19 for sushi that was worse than buffet’s. After ordering, each of us had to wait an average of 45 minutes to an hour to get our food, and more than once it was the wrong thing. I know for sure my roll has six pieces when the menu claimed eight, and I think other people in our party had the same thing happen to them. They did give me 2 extra after I pointed the issue out. An auto 20% gratuity was added. I assume this is because we had 8 people, but it absolutely did not reflect our experience All told, expect to pay $30 minimum for a sushi roll and a drink, both of which did not impress anyone. I recommend going somewhere else.

Additionally, the establishment now offers food delivery options for guests in Big Sky and Bozeman through a partnership with OrdersUp!.
Super yummy food and able to sit a table of 6. Came here after walking around town and not being able to find a place to sit all six of us together. The staff were super friendly and atmosphere was really cool. Most of us got a few tacos and split some appetizers. We’re all from new york so it was nice and even a little surprising to find a super yummy taco spot. They even had a cricket meat taco(which i ordered), it was alright and it was something different, the corn and soup were also really good! Highly recommend!
Dooks — Google review
The atmosphere was certainly enjoyable. Upon our arrival, there was a significant influx of customers that caused a backlog in the kitchen. It appeared that only one person was handling both serving and order-taking duties. Despite this, the food was delivered hot and tasted delicious. We would certainly consider returning.
Aurora B — Google review
If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The food was incredible. We sat outside in their dog-friendly patio (which also has comfy couches). Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. We first ordered Chips & salsa (3 types) which was scrumptious, followed by a HUGE steak burrito for my husband. I had the Tinga & Burris tacos. Both were heavenly. Quality & fresh ingredients were forefront in each of the dishes. And to top it off, tres leche cake for dessert made in house. I wish I lived nearer. I would eat here way too often! Oh… and just a plain ole house margarita was divine. No need to upgrade unless you are a tequila connoisseur.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! We had a work event with 25 people and the service and food were absolutely next level!! The owner Carly was so kind, helpful and communicative in planning for our group dinner. We had the outdoor space set up and ready when we arrived. Carly’s husband is also the owner and chef and makes everything homemade - right down to the spices on the chips! The food - ABSOLUTELY delicious!!! The drinks - AMAZING!! (The Elvis margarita was a huge hit). Everything is so so fresh. Even with our large group, the drinks were artfully made and the food was perfectly plated. There were just so many raves about each dish and drink I lost track. We topped the night off with wonderfully homemade churros and tres leches cake. Thank you for making our event spectacular - from service to food to atmosphere - 10/10!!!

Absolutely blown away by the Mexican poutine fries at Tres Toros! This was my first time visiting Big Sky and my first time trying a twist on poutine, and it definitely set a high bar. The combination of flavors was incredible – savory, rich, and with that perfect Mexican kick. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the toppings were generous and delicious. A must-try when you're in Big Sky!
Omar V — Google review
Overall it’s a great Mexican place. The only ding is the price! I get the rent is probably high and this area of Big Sky is under active development and expansion, but I can honestly say it’s the most money I’ve ever paid for tacos. Chips and salsa are not included. Although the chips and salsa were very tasty if you want to buy them. My margarita was standard, my wife’s mocktail was very good but for the same price as the alcoholic version. Good to go once, but for the price I won’t be back. $130 for 1 drink, 1 mocktail, chips & salsa, and two entree plates of tacos. That stings a bit. There are several “taco bus” places nearby that sell 6 tacos for $15. If you want value for money. Give a bus a try.

Block 3 Kitchen & Bar is a renowned establishment known for providing a true Montana dining experience. With over five decades of expertise in serving American cuisine and wild game, this restaurant is the go-to place for an authentic taste of Montana. The menu offers an impressive variety of dishes made from high-quality wild meats such as bison and elk, both prepared to perfection. The elk meat is tender and delicate, while the bison boasts a rich and well-seasoned flavor profile.
Came across Block 3 on Open Table and read mixed reviews. No idea what the detractors were complaining about. The service, food and environment were all stellar. Our waiter and supporting staff were all amazing. Very knowledgeable and helpful in deciding what to order. We got the tartare trio app which was to die for. I got the crab crusted cod and my wife got the half chicken which was delicious, cooked perfectly and huge. It was also much less expensive than some of the inferior places we've dined at. I immediately started recommending this place to people we met this evening. I will definitely return next time we're in town

The food was so good the first time that we ate here again a few night later and ordered the same things. Parker rolls, Caesar salad, filet with a side of shrimp. It was all awesome including the drinks. And.. the service was great both times. We will absolutely be back.

The spot is in a great location for Big Sky and offers a lovely ambiance. However, we had a bit of an unpleasant time with the service being curt about seating options, a 5 minute delay to our reservation, and slow to receive service despite being one of three tables filled. Besides the delays and tone, the spot was great for a work dinner if not a little pricey. Great cocktails
Elizabeth J — Google review
I don't know if we got lucky or what, but a 4.3 star average review does not match the service nor quality of food we received here. This may have been my favorite meal of our entire weekend, and we did not spare any expense while in Big Sky. We all shared everything we got, from the deer, to the bison, to the ribeye. Even the burger was superb. Nothing short of amazing, we were blown away by this place. The drinks too, I mean were just phenomenal. I got several different styles of old fashioneds, each was excellent. You guys really did an excellent job, thank you for everything

Don was our server and he took great care of us, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed and making good recommendations. Would definitely recommend for those in Big Sky looking for a nice dinner. Bonus - there was live music when we went and it was excellent!

Block 3 is sexy!!!! The restaurant is located inside of the Wilson hotel in town center. The location is ideal especially for dinners heading into a night out. Popular for vacationers and locals this place consistently serves delicious food and impeccable service. AGM Colin is attentive and passionate. Our server Gabbie was astute and spot on with her recommendations. My friends and I came here for cocktails and dinner and we ate like kings. For cocktails we had the vest chic se freak which was delicious and refreshing! The you autumn know was warm and pretty, and the Caribbean queen was something straight out of a tropical vacation. The duck confit is absolutely outstanding! The flavors were fresh and the goat cheese in the salad added a great creamy element. The charcuterie board was beautiful and so delicious. The fondue was the only thing I wasn't crazy about. The cheese lacked a little luster compared to the other starters. Our entrees were so flavorful and perfectly portioned! The chicken pared with the garlic herb butter is a must! Desert certainly did not disappoint! We ordered everything because why not! I highly recommend the pear crumble and cheesecake. We will certainly be coming back to Block 3!

I visit mocha quite frequently, and today I spilt my delicious campfire hot chocolate that the barista (Quinn i think was his name) made for me. I drink coffee everyday. Occasionally from Starbucks. This woman didn't know what she was doing. Also there were two young children behind the bar while I ordered my drink and she made hot coffee. These are young people just above the adult knee. While another woman corral the children to the corner still behind the bar this woman proceeded to make 2% milk by combining whole milk and skim milk. I would have rather she told me that she simply didn't have 2% milk. I'll stay at the lodge again it's mostly comfortable. But I won't get my coffee ☕ from mocha in The Huntley

Mike P — Google review
Good stop for lunch with great views. Food is average and over priced. I believe it’s a little tight to move around and get food when it’s busy. Doesn’t seem like it was meant for how many people are in there daily.
Brett J — Google review
We went to Headwaters Grille on Jan 8th before we went snow biking. My wife and I asked for pulled chicken and ended up getting Caribbean chicken that was gross. My daughter ordered the smoked chicken Caeser salad. She ate a few bites and threw the salad away because the salad tasted awful. The restaurant is convenient at Madison Village and the views of the ski area are pretty but the food is lacking. I spoke to the manager about the food. He did offer a refund but I told him the situation wasn't about the money.
Johns J — Google review
There is not enough seating, cafeteria food nothing special. Big Sky needs to invest more into Madison base and not just for the One and Only.
Peter G — Google review
Usually pretty decent food. Expensive as expected at a ski resort. Last time, one week before closing, the chili tasted... off (usually superb), and the tri-tip was very chewy and tough. They did accommodate us with veggie substitutions, but didn't have many choices as the season was almost over and they were running low on supplies.
Joanna S — Google review
Has the old time feel of 80’s ski area but all amenities you need for a good ski day. Best part is the fact that you can pull up and drop everyone off and not have to shuttle to your car or walk miles to a parking lot. Everything is right there. Highly recommend their bar, grill and ski school.
Eric S — Google review
Used to be an excellent place for BBQ but has gone downhill this year. They used to substitute corn bread and potato salad, now try to charge. They say they have sweet and tangy bbq sauce but they keep pointing you somewhere else in the building before admitting they don’t. Also they only have sandwiches, no longer a BBQ plate, which is contrary to the menu they have there.
Marc C — Google review
Great place to stop for drinks at the base of the mountain. Many food options here as well but mostly cafeteria style food, burgers, chicken, fries and wraps. There are grab and go options too. But the bar is stocked and the tenders are very friendly! I highly recommend a stop in here.

Visitors can expect attentive staff, local brews on tap, and cocktails featuring regional ingredients. Guests have praised the quality of the food, with highlights including the Philly cheesesteak and burgers.
It was a rainy day so we couldn't sit outside - which looked so awesome! We came in for a couple of beers and lunch. We had the Philly cheese steak and it was fantastic! We sat at the bar and the bar tender was really nice and we wish we were here longer so we could come back and hang out on the deck and enjoy the view!
Cathe S — Google review
It was well above our expectations when we first walked in. The burgers were amazing. Double smash burgers with grilled onions on onion buns were top tier. Others had the spring rolls, Philly cheesesteak (on a huge cheese roll), and caesar salad. We sat outside and had a great view with good music. A nice spot for a casual dinner.
Andrew W — Google review
The food was good. We sat outside and it rained, but it’s covered. Order at the counter and they bring it to you. The salads are ready to grab mostly.
Sarah O — Google review
We went to the golf course because of the rating list here and it was on the golf course. Boy were we wrong. Wife had a burger and it came with nothing but meat and bun. I had a chicken Caesar salad and it was already made up in a small plastic container. The silverware was plastic also. We were so disappointed and will not be recommending this restaurant to our friends.
William M — Google review
Little pricey for counter order, but food was fantastic. Service people were great, deducted for pricing.

Incredible view and the best burger I have ever had!

The Philly cheesesteak was a letdown due to the poor meat quality that was over fried🥴😑

Really good food in a pretty patio overlooking a golf course! We’re traveling for a couple of months and look for fun local places to eat-this fit the ticket perfectly. Well done!

We went to dinner yesterday (The first day that they opened with a new chef.) Food was excellent and service was good. The chef came out and introduced himself and shared with us stories about his favorite recipes. We almost didn’t come because of the mixed reviews previously, but when we heard there was a new executive he’d we decided to give it a try. We are glad we did.

I was extremely impressed with every aspect of this meal! We ate here for Christmas dinner and everything was perfect. The manager came over and personally helped us and described his favorite wines in our price range, the bread and hummus/oil/balsamic was phenomenal, and my seafood papardelle was so delicious I ate it entirely too fast. My brother got the Venison dish which also was unreal.
Monica P — Google review
Nice place - great atmosphere, good wine. Just wasn't impressed with the menu (variety wise) or the food itself. I had the buffalo ravioli, which was fine, just not spectacular. My son had the gnocchi, which in full disclosure he did ask to remove the truffle from, and it was just ok. It's on the resort, so it is definitely the best Italian in town, just didn't live up to expectations.
Doug G — Google review
Dinner was amazing, we order the Elk and even though it was cold the flavor was amazing! And the dessert was truly delicious!!
Marlon B — Google review
The food at the Andiamo is well prepared and somewhat novel. The gianduja dessert was among the best chocolate dishes I've ever had. Portion sizes were a bit small, perhaps to encourage diners to have a salad or appetizer, but if one is doing so the overall meal tends to work out reasonably well. Service was fine. While it is regarded by locals as expensive, the price is comparable to dining at other higher-end restaurants in the village or at other resorts and cities. I'd recommend stopping by there at least once during your stay.
Dan L — Google review
Always busy. Very friendly staff. The food was good. I had a braised rabbit that was excellent. The wine list is excellent. I had a wine from Umbria I'd never heard of. Andiamo is situated right in the middle of the Big Sky resort, so it's very convenient but very expensive.
Robert G — Google review
Worst dining experience I've had in at least 15 years. We got seated 45 minutes after our reservation, and literally everything got worse from there. Waiting 40 minutes for our first drink, 40 minutes for an appetizer, 35 minutes from there for our salads, multiple missed orders, an obnoxious waitresses, a rude bartender, and an uncaring manager who watched multiple tables get up & leave because they weren't being served. Note that for me to write a review, means this service sucks - a Lot. Had a great time here over the past few years but never again.
Brendan M — Google review
Food is excellent. Probably the best Ceasar salad I've ever had. And the chocolate bomb was perfect to split amongst the six of us! A little short staffed as we had to ask for dessert and then our check.

With events like Tarantino Movie Night featuring delicious bison chili, large buttered popcorn, and themed cocktails, it's a great destination for a fun family night out or an enjoyable evening with friends.
great service, great food, great vibes! love that you can choose whether to have more of a lively game-day feel downstairs or a quiet art deco cocktail feel upstairs. would recommend!
Lindsay G — Google review
Very nice bistro which shares the space of the movie theater. Food was good: salmon fillet, bison strip appetizer, caprese skewers. Gluten free beer! The staff was very friendly. Cosmic Possum, dead cover, was playing to add a fun atmosphere.
Robert R — Google review
The service was nice and there was no wait. The food however was not a good value. 4 of us got the large wings, 2 salads, chicken entree, bison steak entree. Each entree was $25-30. It tasted good but we all left hungry since the portions were too small. We went to get a second dinner after.
Brian C — Google review
Great service, great atmosphere. Had charred bison strip appetizer and peaches and heat drink and it was surprisingly good! Would definitely come back!

Absolutely delicious. Ordered a chicken Alfredo, second favorite of my entire life. Amazing outdoor seats, will be seeing a movie here in the future. Drinks were great, service was average.

Have to say that the food was AMAZING! Ben, our waiter/ bartender was the best. The drinks are delicious! Highly recommended!!!! Can I give a 10/5??
Cindy L — Google review
This place is a hidden gem! Go in the theater doors and up the stairs to your left. One of the very best burgers that I've ever had the pleasure of devouring. Two juicy patties, cheese, fresh veggies; not the ordinary under-ripened orange tomatoes that are ubiquitous in burgerdom, no, these are ripe, red and delicious. Generous fries are large and seasoned well. Everything cooked to perfection. Paired with a great beer and friendly service for the most reasonable price I've seen in Big Sky - I have absolutely zero to complain about.
Benjamin J — Google review
The Waypoint's new menu is super delicious! The Trout Spread and Trout dinner were amazing (apparently we were on a trout kick!). Cocktails are always top notch there too. We tried their new on "I don't want no Shrubs" cocktail and it was really good and so refreshing! Great for the upcoming summer season. And, service is always a step above any other restaurant in Big Sky. Can't wait to go back and try more yummy menu items!

Milkies Pizza & Pub is a popular spot in Big Sky, known for its delicious pizza, lively atmosphere, and full bar. Located in the Meadow Village, this establishment offers a variety of food options including pizza, subs, calzones, pita sandwiches, and chicken wings with three sauces. The bar also features a pool table, jukebox, and TVs for entertainment.
This spot has THE BEST wings. I'm not sure how they do it, but they are seriously on point. Buffalo wings are surprisingly spicy, so if you don't tolerate spice beware. Also the pizza is really good. Jesse took care of us on our trip to Big Sky, and we kept coming back for more wings, cold beer, and good vibes. Pool table is nice with well maintained cues. Until next time!!
Weston R — Google review
Ordered cheesy garlic bread which took no less than 45 minutes. Ordered 2 individual pizzas, and a meatball sub. 90 mins to get food. Not crowded. Server was relatively rude. Watched the kitchen staff review their 4 order tickets. Three or 4 people review the slips. I’m not sure what was confusing about a cheese pizza, a meatball pizza and a meatball sub, but it certainly created a meeting of the minds to figure out what to make. The pizza was good. Then again, I don’t think I’ve ever eaten bad pizza. All in all the food was good, I’m just not sure it was worth a 90 mins wait. The free “help yourself” water was a helpful hold over while we waited to eat. Drinks were served real fast. I guess this place might be great order for pick up. I don’t recommend going in. Bring a snack to hold you over while u wait for your food. I won’t go back
Thomas P — Google review
Pizza, pasta, and salads were amazing! Great atmosphere with darts and a pool table. Plenty of parking. Fast service.
Rachel G — Google review
Terrible service. Staff members were extremely rude, and every time I came here I had to wait over an hour. Orders are often missing items, and even when the food is ready they just leave it sitting there without giving it to you. If you can avoid this place, don’t come.
Jay — Google review
It really needs to fix it's WiFi problems. I avoid eating here a lot because neither of my sim cards can pick up a cell signal here to save their lives. I hate going out to eat and not being able to check/scroll on my phone or receive messages. Also check your food for hair, iv found one in the cheese in my burger, I definitely couldn't finish it

Milkies is a local dive bar in a little strip mall. They offer a fantastic happy hour special, every day from 4-6. EVERY beer on tap is 1/2 off, even premium beer! We ordered 2 small pizzas 6 beers and a cocktail with the total bill coming in at $66. The bartender/waiter was very attentive, friendly, engaging and polite. This place is definitely worth looking for in Big Sky.
Jay F — Google review
DO NOT GO HERE. This place SUCKS. Went with my family for our first trip to big sky and sincerely the waitress sucked, pasta was cold and the pizza is deemed “the best in big sky” but is absolutely 100% not. Please note the unmelted cheese on top of the spaghetti and raw broccoli and tomato chunks on the veggie pizza… Waitress couldn’t be waved down, didn’t pay any attention to our table so I went to the bar to buy a drink and she literally turned me away because “you already have a waitress”Unbelievably disappointed for the price and drive to this place. Horrible. Do not go
Drea H — Google review
Milkie's Pizza & Pub Kinda hard to find but WORTH IT! I phoned in a carry-out order...with 20 minutes to close but the folks working there were very cool about it.  (Apparently many people decide to order food just before closing @ 10:00pm.) The meatballs and pizza were both really good.  The atmosphere of the place also had a warm, inviting vibe. A definite thumbs up!
