What a charming shop! The proprietor took great care in suggesting wines to bring to a dinner party. We are eager to go back and sit and sip some wine on the tables out front.

Great place to relax with a glass of wine [or 3] and a snack. The foccacia with coppa and fig was exceptional and the smoked eel was quite good as well. Ask your server for their wine recommendations.

In my experience, the staff didn’t seem interested in sharing any knowledge about the wine. No enthusiasm at all. It felt like they just wanted me to make a quick purchase. On the plus side, I was happy to see Arianna Occhipinti wines available.

This place was our first stop while visiting Bologna. An amazing selection of wines and great local dishes, the orange wines were top notch and the gorgonzola was unforgetable.

Great vibe of authentic vintage pub. Really nice staff. Got two tasty local cheap beers and ate own lunch. A little disappointment was that the beer is bottled. It is not the place where you would like to spend whole evening, but i would recommend it for a quick drink.

I honestly can’t even put into words how much I love this place. The drinks are always on point! The selection of snacks is insanely good, with so many tasty options that perfectly complement the drinks. What really stood out to me was how friendly and polite the waitstaff were. They spoke English well, which made ordering easy and stress-free, especially for a tourist like me.

My wife and I were traveling through north central Italy when we stopped in Bologna and were lucky enough to find Osteria del Sole. This isn’t just a wine bar. This is an institution in Bologna. It’s a traditional osteria, where you can have a drink (you can get a glass of wine for 3 euros) and bring your own food (preferably from the Mercato Di Mezzo next door).

We had the best time at this osteria! It’s a cute little osteria, with an assortment of different wines which you can order by glass or bottle for a reasonable price. You can also bring your own food, as they do not serve food in this restaurant. When we got there it was packed to the limit, but we quickly saw a table become free and went to claim it. We had such a lovely time mixing and chatting to the locals. Would 100% recommend!

This place is one of the more unique places in the Bologna market area. It happened to be the last stop on the food walking tour we did. We enjoyed a few bottles of spumante and the cold cuts we had purchased here before saying goodbye to everyone. It's somehow as loud as a football stadium at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon. I imagine if you're a local and famous, you end up getting your picture on the wall. We were not that lucky, but if you are in the area and somehow figure out what this place is. You will have one the local Italian place to be award.

We got the last minute call from reservations team that we get a table. The restaurant is in the old town well decorated but dark( even in lunch). 12 courses 350 per person is ok for 3 Michelin. Service is Perfect but lack of human touch. We tried the 30 years anniversary menu. Tbh I was expecting more and have been wanted to come here but most of the dishes were flat. They were good but of 1 from 12 gave me wow factor. So it is nice to go but not wow for me and my partner 😭. Massimo (head chef) came and say hello and tell story of many dishes to every table ( this was so nice to hear) I think if the service also tell a bit story will also be very interesting ( they were quite rush when explaining) in conclusion not no.1 world best restaurant in my view.

Overall, a good experience that I would recommend, albeit I couldn’t help but leaving slightly unfulfilled. Not many dishes were truly stand-outs apart from the duck (which to be fair was easily the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a good bit). Some of the other dishes like the “bean” pasta and crunchy pasta were interesting and fun, but maybe not quite as enjoyable as I would have hoped on the flavor side. Don’t get me wrong. It’s good. But from a 3-star level and the inherent expectations that come along with this restaurant’s reputation, I thought it was slightly below what I hoped for. I also found the service to be just a little bit on the stiff side, apart obviously from Massimo himself who is an absolute delight.

Amazing experience, the staff is amazing and make sure you have a good time. I would say the wine pairing is a must do to extract the the most out of the experience. Our experience started with a portion of grissini, they arrive fresh and warm. They are so good that I could eat that the whole night. The sommelier offered us a glass of sparkling wine from the region as an aperitif, that glass was amazing. After that we started the experience, the first dish is called panned e aqua, paired with a Sake-Yuzu. The first bite of the dish didn't give me much, but once I got the first sip of the sake, on that moment I noticed if we didn't ordered the pairing the experience would be very different. The dish mixes textures with panned gratato, breadcrumbs and creamy oyster and some seaweed. The flavours popped with the wine, the mix of textures and flavours did the right balance. Second Course, brodo in bloom and three small bites. A onion and caviar dish, a pizza frita and very fresh Herby bite. The stars of that for me were thr broth, that was complex and light Providing a deep experience on flavour. The pizza frita was a master piece, tha flavours over the simplicity was amazing with a pop in your mouth with the cheese inside. The onion bite was very light and balanced, was my wife's favourite. The last one, very fresh, lots of herbs that create a unified flavour in your mouth. The wine, such unique wine that I can't describe the smell of it. I've asked the sommelier and he describes as: "the smell of the sea wind in the morning with dome apricots" Next dish, with the same wine. Was La Contadina. A dish with aspargus and some dark greens. The dish was so aromatic and flavoursome. This was one of the highlight of the night. The aromas that relies when you bite the greens was something that I can describe as unique. Now the Mare Nostrum, this is one of the dishes that push the socre down of the experience. The dish is a interesting texture experience, with "plastic" on the dish. Doing a challenge on what we have in the ocean. Flavour was nice, mix of textures and charcoal. But what destroyed the experience was that one of the pieces of the the seafood was rubbery. That just destroyed the whole experience of the dish for me. My wife said her was ok. Next dish, pasta e fragility. This one the pairing shines again. A dish that would be OK, was turn into a nice flavour combination. Instead of wine here we hade a local beer. Making that pairing amazing. The challenge here is to find what is bean, what is pasta. Good experience, nice visuals. La genovense, our pasta dish. That pasta dish was very well executed, flavour, texture and aroma. That is what I was looking for. The dish is a construction of freshly cooked pasta and yesterday pasta. And the sauce, THE SAUCE!! The only thing that was missing was bread to clean the plate. Now, the main course. The Jazz of the Duck. That was a very nice surprise to cook the duck with some Japanese infusion and inspiration. Massimo creates a katsobushi of duck. The dish comes with bread, whole wheat, natural fermentation. The duck breast with the sauce. A salad and a crispy bite of the katsobushi on top. That was amazing, just not as amazing as the secret second part of the dish. It was a savory panetonne, that thing... my God... that was delicious. Now the first dessert, fast bees slow honey. I'm not a big fan of sweets in general. But the complexity and combination of flavours with a crispy of bay leaves with honey. That created an amazing experience. The next one, another dish that make me feel the execution wasn't quite right. Thus dessert was to show the sunset on Sicily. The dish should have the flavours of lemon, coffee and almonds. The flavour of the lemon was so intense that I could not taste the almonds. And almost disappeared the flavour of the coffee. This the experience lost another point. The Gelati to close the night, and the last bite the duck strikes again. Each gelato provided another great experience. Amaxing, two things let it down that is why 4 stars.

Absolute bucket list meal. Staff was extremely friendly. Food was delicious and presentation amazing. Well worth the high price. Both tasting menus were exquisite. Wine pairing a must (although could’ve done without the beer). We sat in the back room so it felt little secluded. Thankful to have enjoyed the experience.

Bean-shaped pasta from the different Italian regions paired with beer; burnt tomato pasta; duck; panettone duck and the milk pre dessert were all divine. Foie Gras in the ice-cream was a nice surprise.

⭐️ Short version: We’ve been to many fine dining and “Hall of Fame” restaurants — but Osteria Francescana was by far the most disappointing. Cold atmosphere, guests whispering, bored staff (except the sommelier). Pasta cold, duck barely warm. Same duck reduction in 3 of 11 dishes, celery sauce twice. Napkins forgotten, coffee late. For a place with three stars, it’s the small things that should make the difference — and they didn’t. ⸻ ⭐️ Long version: We’ve been to many fine dining and “Hall of Fame” restaurants around the world, but sadly Osteria Francescana was one of the most disappointing experiences. Perhaps, like with certain modern artists, we just didn’t understand the vision — but the entire evening felt distant and soulless. The atmosphere was cold (and not just the room temperature); guests whispered, and the staff seemed disengaged. Only the sommelier appeared to genuinely enjoy his job. Napkins were forgotten, coffee arrived late — small details, yet at this level, those are exactly what should make the difference. Culinarily, things didn’t improve much. The pasta was cold, the duck only slightly warm, and the same duck reduction appeared in three out of eleven dishes. A celery sauce showed up twice. That repetition made the menu feel uninspired and mechanical rather than creative or emotional. Maybe there’s an artistic layer we simply missed — but for us, the experience lacked warmth, precision, and passion. For a Hall of Fame, three-Michelin-star restaurant, it fell well short of expectations.

What more can you say about the best restaurant in the world… absolutely AMAZING! Service, spot on, intimate, warm, inviting, friendly… what else can I say. Food, WOW. The only thing I struggled with the was how much food but that’s not a real problem! It was all amazing.

Don't let the street spook you, the bar is amazing. A lot of local people visit this bar/pub and the drinks do not dissapoint (you even get some free veggies and a lot of chips, even refills if you want). I can reccomend the Gold Rush beer for IPA lovers.

Beautiful lunch with the family in a side street off the main centre of Bologna. Food was amazing and full of flavour, definitely not a tourist trap restaurant.

We were at this place because we wanted to eat late and yes we saw people eating at midnight. Food was good, our firsts cocktails 🍹 were delicious, we tried 2 others cocktails but unfortunately we didn’t like the second round but I think it’s depending of what you like or not, we all cannot have the same preferences. Cool place to have a drink. Tho we came around dinner, so we ate some pasta and salads. Billy the dog is the cutest and his owner also gives you some dog treats, so you can interact with this gorgeous creature

Very unpleasant experience. We sat down and ordered three non-alcoholic drinks that were clearly listed on the menu. The waitress took our order, only to return a few minutes later and tell us they don't serve non-alcoholic drinks, and that we should go to another bar. No explanation, no attempt to offer alternatives – just dismissed us. Extremely unprofessional and unfriendly. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting basic service and hospitality.

During our weeklong trip to Bologna, we somewhat across this place. We were thirsty and looking for a place to drop in for a glass of wine, and were immediately seated inside, as we asked. They were a few tables outside, situated with two couples. Inside there was music playing, but you could still have a conversation. The only other people inside were two locals at the bar, and a couple in the back. It took about 10 minutes for us to put our order in. We thought that was a bit long since there wasn’t that many people being attended to. I ordered a glass of wine, and my husband chose a beer. Compared to other wine bars we had visited, the prices were a bit higher here for wine. And honestly, the amount you got was less. We got a small bowl of croutons to go with our drinks, which tasted stale. My husband had most of those with his beer. I skipped them since they were flavorless. And again, compared to other places we had gone, it was disappointing to get. Since we were feeling a little hungry, we opted for the bruschetta toast with sardines. The bread was burnt, and all the tomatoes tasted fresh, and the cheese was nice, we did get ample sardines per bite. I decided to not eat the burnt crust, and just have the center of the bread instead. The service was quite lacking overall, and the staff did not seem that friendly. With only a few people being served, we were surprised how preoccupied the staff was were talking to people walking by then with the patrons in the restaurant. While the wine was good, the food was terrible in comparison, and not worth the money. As I mentioned before the prices of the wine are a bit steep compared to other places, so I would recommend that instead. The overall atmosphere was nice, and the inside was like a true wine bar. The wine variety was nice, and the wine that I ordered was good. I would not come here for food; I will come here just for a glass of wine and go. Overall disappointing, as this was the only place in Bologna we didn’t like after staying for over nine days!

We had a very disappointing experience at Favalli. We sat down and politely ordered three soft drinks listed on their menu. The waitress took our order without any issue, only to return five minutes later and tell us that, because they are a wine bar, we were not allowed to order soft drinks. She said we could only stay if we ordered wine, otherwise we should go to a nearby place. The bar was nearly empty, so it’s not like we were taking up someone else’s table. What’s most confusing is why they even list non-alcoholic drinks on the menu if they refuse to serve them. A very unwelcoming and strange approach to customer service. Would not recommend.

Absolutely fab little place for some nice Italian wine and surprisingly good local food too. Owner is such a sweet man, very friendly and happy to recommend wine pairings with food. Not expensive either and they accept American Express (not overly popular in Italy). Went 3 times on a 6 day trip.

We were with 6 persons, but the owner refused to serve us and insulted us. Why? Because one person made the 'mistake' of asking for a spritz instead of a glass of wine. Didn't matter the other 5 were there to drink wine or not. He didn't even ask. It was very shortminded of the owner to make instead a disrespectful tantrum stating, amongst others, 'only wine, no spritz and soft drinks are only for kids '. Luckily this is an exception to all our other experiences in Bologna.

Rude waiter, we tried ordering two soft drinks (clearly shown on the menu) in somewhat rusty Italian, the waiter snarks at us mockingly asking where we are from and continues to explain that soft drinks are for kids and as they are a wine bar only serve alcohol to adults… ridiculous

Rustic and unique restaurant right in the heart of the city, offering local food and music entertainment, with outdoors sits as well as indoors. Food was visually appealing but not memorable and the service perhaps a bit distracted, I’d like to think due to the hectic crowd. But the music and atmosphere make this place absolutely worth visiting! The wine must be good too because clients were dancing happily!

Restaurant with one room (cellar) offering live jazz music. That one was full so I had dinner in the regular dining room, which is nice though nothing spectacular. The food was however very tasty and refined. Service was ok though not very warm nor super attentive (I had to repeat a couple requests). Downside: they do not have a bar or open area in the music room to hang out and listen to the music after dinner for those who did not get a table in the music room.

This was a really fun and unique experience with the live jazz band! The atmosphere was amazing, the service was good, the food was okay - I had higher expectations being in Bologna. The band started around 2130, we had a table pretty close and had excellent view of the band. I would still return again because it's was such a fun experience!

We are traveling through Italy on vacation and this was a great disappointment. We effectively lost a night of great dining to eat at this establishment. Service was horrible and they didn’t apologize for the delays in being food. Took 1 hour to bring us 3 simple pasta dishes and hummus. They promote the pasta is homemade…not a chance. Prof was that my pasta was half cooked and that can’t happen unless you made it from a box. They promote it as a jazz bar…no music playing. Avoid this place like the plague.

Consistently excellent. The service here is always friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. The pastries and sweets are incredibly fresh—flaky, rich, and never overly sweet. The cakes are not just delicious but also beautifully crafted, perfect for special occasions or just because. Their outdoor patio is a gem—shaded, peaceful, and a great spot to unwind with a coffee and something sweet. You can tell this place puts care into everything they do. Definitely a go-to for quality and comfort.

We had breakfast here on our last day in Bologna. We had cremacotta and the calzone millefiore as recommended by the staff and they were declicious! It was hard to not want to eat a lot more! Place is 10-15 min by car from city center. We had a car while in Bologna so not sure how to visit this place via public transportation when you’re staying within the city.

We've been there 3 times, location it's nice in the summer with the outside table, not so much in the winter, the leave those wet. Two stars because they won't accept electronic payments for less than 10€ and it's totally outdated and even against the law. I really liked the pastry but the last two times they runned out of illy's filtered coffee powder and we went there for that reason and because the door to go on the outside seating it's not even a proper door to enter you need to grab a mini handle 50cm from the floor, so annoying, upgrade it!

Wine bar (shop really) tucked away under a portico. Serving by the bottle or by the glass if a bottle is open. Fabulous selection of wines and very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Very quirky, really enjoyed it here for a pre-dinner drink. Was heaving later so it seems a popular spot.

This wine bar in Bologna is so cozy, chilled and unpretentious. We visited two nights in a row and enjoyed sitting outside under the porticos, people-watching from chairs that spilled onto the pavement. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wine. There's no menu; instead the inside of the bar is lined with dozens and dozens of organic, natural and local wine bottles. You tell the owner what kind of wine you like, or would like to try, and he makes suggestions. You can drink it by the bottle or glass. Price-wise, there are affordable bottles similar to what you'd pay in a restaurant (€15-25 per bottle) all the way to very expensive, rare types. We asked to try local wines from the Emilia-Romagna region, so he suggested a Tera (a Ravenna Trebbiano) and Paltrinieri 'Radice' Lambrusco di Sorbara. Both were absolutely delicious and we had no problem finishing the bottles. If I lived in Bologna, I'd happily go there again and again.

Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!!! Great, quiet place to hang out and have wine. The wines are organic, you just tell the lovely hostess, who had brilliant eyes and a beautiful smile, what type of wine you're seeking and she picks something out for you try! You get a little dish or organic tarali to nibble on. I've been here twice in 2 days and plan on going back for more.

Champions itself on organic, sulphite free and biodynamic offerings. Come here! You won't be disappointed.

Tra tanti locali che si spacciano per esperti in drink, servizio ape ecc, qui assoluta qualità (dei fingerfood e degli alcolici: nessun preparato o ore miscelato), passione e conoscenza della Mixology, ovvero come rendere davvero un drink o cocktail, anche il più semplice veramente buono e speciale e con un tocco personale che non guasta mai. Per un piccolo paese, inaspettato. La qualità si paga ma nemmeno tanto. Stra consiglio!

In August Bologna is a lot quieter because of Ferragosto, so i imagine this place may be busier during other months. But for us it was fairly quiet which was a nice change from loud students everywhere :) (also fun!) This bar has a magazine for their cocktail menu. One page for their signature cocktails, then a double spread after that to explain each individual cocktail with a photo. A unique way to present the menu. They also have all the standard cocktails too and can make you a surprise one if you want! I highly recommend Viva La Vida (Gin Arte, watermelon juice, lemon and summer syrup with elderflower).

Just ordered drinks and they were brought with standard chips and olives… Pompous name of the premises for a no-frills treatment. Look-at-me vibe, crowded with young tourists on a Saturday afternoon. It’s a shame that the uninspired robotic waitress doesn’t remember who gets what even at a very small table.

A refreshing aperitif after a long walk on the old town Bologna. The place is simply chic and service was great in spite of the busy attendance.

We had our breakfast and coffee early in the morning with my husband during our stay to Bologna. Friendly staff, nice environment. We had a nice vegetarian suggestion with salmon and avocado to include in our breakfast which was really tasty.

Visitors should be aware that foreigners are not well received here, and they also do not like small orders. We wanted to drink coffee at the bar and they refused to show menu and offered to take a table and read the barcode. Italians, who wanted to have breakfast, were given a menu. First time I in my life I see cafe without coffee menu in the bar. Avoid this place, they have terrible service.

I visited Rinaldini in Rimini and had a generally pleasant experience. The atmosphere was lovely — cozy and stylish, with nice background music that added to the ambiance. The cakes were visually stunning, like little works of art. Taste-wise, it was a bit of a mixed experience: some of the pastries were slightly dry and didn’t quite match what I had imagined. However, overall they were decent. It's a great spot to enjoy a coffee and dessert in a relaxing setting. I’d be happy to come back and try something different next time.

Among other pastry shops in the city, I rank Ranaldini among the best. Great service, beautiful environment (even for a photo shoot), great cakes, milkshakes and especially coffee. Since I'm not from Italy, I appreciated the less roastiness and bitterness of the coffee. 🖤

One of my friends wanted to visit this place late night. Nice walk through and around city center, past shops and restaurants and finally through a dark alley way. Sketchy at first if you're not using it. No lines that at the door! Door person asked us how many in our group, "three", we said. Door person doesn't acknowledge our answer, gets on the phone and has a brief convo via cell phone in Italian. Proceeds to stand like we never talked at all. About 3 minute wait.....15 minute wait American time which seemed like an eternity since we had no idea what was going on. A trap? We thought....then someone emerged from the front door, a nice young fellow, and welcomed us, full of energy and very welcoming. Lead us through a maze of rooms and seats us in a nice lounge table next to the bar. Seems like a fun place if u were 20 year old. Not really for us. Drinks were mehhhhhh.

In my opinion by far the best cocktail bar in town, no question. The menu is diverse, the prices are fair and the creations are superb. Their signature menu offers 12 drinks and all 6 that we've tried were fantastic. Sometimes on the sweet side, but fans of boozy and more classic drinks find their variations as well. Beautiful bar and nice atmosphere, don't miss out on this!

I respect and love a good speakeasy bar, but the experience here was just terrible. Literally everyone else got in but we were told we cant go in because we didnt speak any Italian? The guy was rude, se-ist, very obnoxious and tried to mess with us. Learn your way to treat tourist customers.

The focus here is on wine, with such a large selection that everyone is likely to find something they enjoy—both in terms of price and variety. A perfect opportunity for tasting, accompanied by good cheese or a platter of cold cuts. Everything would have been a 5-star experience if not for the server, who seemed completely lost in his role—unable to offer advice, present anything, or even ask if we’d like something to eat with our glass of wine. Total indifference. I’d describe the atmosphere as a place with potential—it was genuinely pleasant, except for the service.

Really cool spot for a glass of wine. We came in with a pretty open mind and really were up for any of their suggestions, which we ended up enjoying. There are a ton of options for glasses and/or bottles. The seating space is right in the middle of the shop so it's fun to look around while drinking. Staff was friendly and guided us toward wines were all really rather nice.

This is a one of a kind experience. We had a couple of glasses of cool crisp white wine, and the charcuterie board for 2. Delicious! We also met the two co-founders Claudio & Marco. Wonderful people.

Buying wine can be an intimidating experience — but not at Enoteca Italiana. After settling in at a table, I walked up to the counter to ask if they had a menu, only for the staff to chuckle and say, “Menu for wine? I am the menu!” I ended up having two glasses based on his recommendations, and I couldn’t have been happier with the choices.

Knowledgeable personell, especially the lovely owner of the place. Nice and friendly atmosphere, affordable good quality wine. You can buy your preferred bottle too, and they'll chill it and serve it. Whenever we thought we find a better place to eat dinner, we regretted we left.

We ordered the gourmet board for 2 people and it came with a great variety of meats, cheese, spreads, vegetables, and bread. They also recommended Lambrusco which was also a very nice pairing. The atmosphere was fun and low key for hanging out and socializing. They also were playing great music! Would definitely recommend!

Awesome place close to the Piazza Maggiore. We stopped in for lunch around 12:30 and only had 2 people on line ahead of us. Cool atmosphere with tables inside and out. I had the 17 and she had the 20 ( see menu). They were both really good. Super fresh bread and ingredients. Cold beer and free water. Highly recommend this place. Check it out!

Perfect for a quick stop to refuel with delicious tastes and a beer or wine and keep exploring the beautiful little streets of the city. Totally worth it. Very popular spot, but miss peak times and you're in for a treat. I saw a line out the door at 12:30pm but by 13:30, we walked in and got a table right away. Very friendly servers, generous charcuterie platters. Great house wine. Seasonal spreads on freshly baked bread. Go hungry!!!

Sadly they forget to give us the cheese…we choose the Gourmet Chopping Board and order 2. We didn’t realize until we checked our pictures later the night QAQ To be honest the crostini tastes nice, very crunchy and yummy. I’m ok with the meat The wine they’re selling beside the cashier is really good. We all like the refreshing taste. Their Aperol Spritz is also very good, better than any one what we had in Firenze.

Wow…the portion size, the variety, and the taste of this Gourmet Chopping Board was sensational. Tasting Parmaham, Morradella, and Balsamic Vinegar in the Tuscany region was truly special, the flavour combinations were out of this world We wish we ordered for 2 people, as opposed to 3 as it was far too much, we left a fair bit. Overall, the price matches the quality of the dish.

Stopped at Café Zanarini for a cocktail on a very hot day in Bologna. The temperature was 33 and we needed a rest, some water and a pick me up. It looks an expensive café with the nice tables outside and well uniformed staff but it is not and is very much worth a visit. The big surprise was that when you order a cocktail you get a black bun with ham, peanuts, crisps and olives for free ! The staff are brilliant and it’s great to seat and people watch.

⭐ One Star – A Bitter Taste at Cafe Zanarini Despite its elegant setting in Piazza Galvani, our visit to Cafe Zanarini was marked by inefficiency and indifference. We waited approximately 10 minutes in a queue near the terrace before being seated. Once at our table, we endured another 20 minutes of being ignored—until a waiter mistakenly tried to serve us a cake we hadn’t ordered. We seized that moment to request the menu, which thankfully arrived promptly. But after an additional 15 minutes of being overlooked, we decided to leave. I can’t comment on the food or drinks, because we never got that far. What I can speak to is the lack of service, which was disorganized and inattentive from start to finish. With over 250 reviews under my belt, one-star ratings are rare—but this one is unequivocally deserved. The experience left a bitter taste, and unfortunately, not the kind that comes from espresso.

A very atmospheric café/restaurant in the heart of bologna. It’s perfect if you’d like to try some specialities from the region with cocktails and coffees. There are also very delicious sweets you can add to the mix. The waiters don’t really speak english but are still friendly and welcoming. However you have to wait quiet a while until they serve you and when you ask for coffee or dessert. If you don’t mind spending a bit more time with lunch or dinner it’s a great restaurant to visit.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star I went in alone and when I first sat down the staff acted friendly and quick but the moment I was seated they vanished I decided to wait and see how long it would take It took over 40 minutes just to place a simple order Yes it was a bit busy but that’s no excuse People who arrived after me were already eating while I was still sitting there being ignored I raised my hand clearly Two staff members looked straight at me and still did nothing Worse they stood inside whispering to each other while glancing at me like I wasn’t supposed to notice It honestly felt humiliating and borderline discriminatory It made me incredibly uncomfortable and angry Eventually someone else came over and apologized but at that point it didn’t mean anything I had gone in just to have breakfast but ended up waiting more than 50 minutes for food By then it wasn’t breakfast it was a wasted morning and my whole day’s schedule was ruined I don’t care how good the food might be for others No one should be treated like that especially when they’re alone The only remotely decent moment was when the staff member at the end processed my payment politely Too little way too late I won’t ever be coming back If you can’t handle the number of guests then reduce the number of tables You’re overreaching and it clearly shows Knowing your limits and running things properly is part of being a good business Fix it

Service takes super long on a normal not overcrowded day. Coffee ok warm, not hot, little aroma for 3.50€. Worst thing was Carmen when we payed at the counter: Haven't been treated so unfriendly in years just for paying. Not recommended at all!

I had been really curious to visit Caffè Terzi, since it’s known as one of the most historic coffee spots in Bologna. I went around noon, planning to try their cappuccino. I had always heard that in Italy ordering cappuccino after 12 isn’t exactly encouraged, and I didn’t want to upset any locals—but I just couldn’t resist! Luckily, they must be used to tourists by now, because I got no strange looks and was able to enjoy my cappuccino without any issue 😁. After ordering, you take a seat at the outdoor tables and wait for your drink to be served through a little window, which I found very cute. The coffee itself was excellent—rich and flavorful. When I finished, I couldn’t bring myself to just leave the cup outside, so I brought it back inside. They thanked me warmly, and I like to think that little gesture won me some points with the locals 😁.

We planned a very short half-day trip to Bologna, and for breakfast we went to a cute little café called Caffè Terzi. It opens quite early, at 08.00, making it a perfect spot to start the day. The atmosphere felt very authentic. We saw locals stopping by for a quick espresso before heading to work, so we really got to experience the “real” Italian café culture. We tried a Cappuccino, which was excellent, and fresh Orange Juice (since one of our stomachs wasn’t feeling too well at the time). Both were great, with clearly high-quality coffee and juice. From the bakery selection, we had a Croissant with Pistachio and a Crostata alla Nocciola. Both were delicious and carefully made with quality ingredients. Overall, a truly authentic and delightful experience. Definitely recommended if you’re in Bologna!

Unfortunately, our experience at this café was very disappointing. We ordered coffee, a croissant, and two juices, and unfortunately, nothing impressed us. The croissant had a cream that tasted just like butter, which was far from our expectations. Overall, the quality of the food and drinks leaves much to be desired. I do not recommend this place for breakfast.

Really simple cafe in an alley in Bologna with nice variety of drinks and coffee. The staff was nice and the decoration was something like old style. I like supporting small businesses with more traditional style. Unfortunately, i cannot stand dirt and unhygienic conditions. The toilet was really dirty but the worst part were the water glasses that i am not sure they were cleaned from the opening of the store as well as the pot of the tea that had black dirt on the nozzle and around the top. Probably it was from the frequent use but they ought to clean it once a while.

The quick-moving queue of locals was a good sign, but when I reached the counter, the service became very awkward. Four employees turned their backs and completely ignored me, leaving me (an obvious tourist) waiting in silence for a few minutes before anyone spoke. The cashier noticed and tried to make a joke but it was too late and just felt cringe. Despite the poor service, the coffee was decent. I tried the affogato con crema. If you sit outside, though, be careful; the tables are notoriously wobbly.

Marsalino is an experience. The family running the restaurant works like a clock. The place is cozy, service is quick. I strongly suggest to make a reservation for prompt seating. All pasta is freshly made, the sauce is very tasty but not overtaking the pasta. There is a good selection of wine, beer and drinks. Overall it was a great experience.

My vegetarian friend ordered a meaty pasta because we misinterpreted the menu. By the way, the boss made us a new vegetarian pasta. I'm so touched. It's a must-see place with great love and great taste. ❤️🫶🏼

The waiters were friendly and efficient. The food was served quickly with breads and wwater. The ragu and the Chitarra alla Gricia (lightly smoked pork cheek) was very good with the al dente pasta. We finished the meal with Spimone al Limone served with cat tongue for dessert. A very tasty meal reasonably priced. We would recommend that you give it a try.

We ate at Marsalino twice during our vacation. The food was very tasty, the products are fresh and the service very good! All the guys in the staff are friendly and the prices are very good for the quality! We would come back again ☺️ The homemade pasta tastes good and is fresh. I would recommend a reservation!!! If you want to eat outstanding Pasta, this is the place to go 🍝

Outstanding food and gentlemen working here. Great value for your money and really nice refreshing cold draft beer too. The kind of beer you can keep drinking all night long and it’s like $6 for a large one. Easily my best meal in Italy so far!! They gave me a few free shots of limoncello and grappa too. The food was absolutely magnificent and delicious, pastas were cooked perfectly al dente. Me and my family ordered the cacio e pepe and spaghetti ragu, the sauce was amazing and matches up the pasta. It was very fullfiling and cheep too! Workers there were very nice and polite, they were also super friendly and chill, all of them were happy, the atmosphere had a very cozy feel to it, the tables were very comfortable. We also ordered some glass of wine, it was very tasty and has a reasonable price! What an amazing resturant, definitly deserves a 5 star rating.

If I could give 6 stars to the people, I would! Great tasting homemade tagliatella al ragu, good cocktails (they have a lovely selection of alcohol free ones as well) and the vibe is just sooo lovely. The guys were super friendly and nice. Recommend booking a table since it’s very busy.

Arrived at 2 on Saturday. Advertised as open.. Definitely not a bustling market at this time of day 80%of stalls closed. Pretty much fruit and veg only options. Some restaurants open but fresh selection limited. Update opening hours. Visit before.12 or after 5.30.or prepare to be disappointed 😔

Half the places here are closed Also, the central fruit stall is the only one we visited. While the melon was excellent, the fig was alright, the overly priced huge porcini was super expensive 60€ per kg. The worst part is that it's soggy after just one night in the fridge, when it's not even cooked yet. Absolutely disgusting to eat and such a scam

The most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing vegetable market I have ever seen in my life – a breathtaking orchestration of colours, scents, and shapes.

Stopped in as part of a food tour, so the experience was probably different than it would be if we had just popped in. As a result, the service was super friendly and attentive. There are a bunch of cute stores. Solid amount of options between pasta, cheese, meat, produce. I'm not sure I necessarily would have needed to come here it it weren't part of a food tour but in the end it was a nice experience. Not as overwhelming as some other similar markets may be and a nice way to see some of the authenticity of the area.

Many varieties of fresh vegetables. Excellent fish counter. The Mercado is lined with restaurants and coffee shops. We ate tapas al fresco behind the fish section of the market. Delicious food. Great variety. The staff totally understood which dishes had, or did not have gluten in them.

Quite a few stalls were closed when I visited, so it was lacking that hectic vibe that a true fresh food market has, but I managed to get great lunch options: pasta with brodo from one place and eggplant parmigiana piadina (made as the closed version, can’t remember the name) and both were so tasty! 😋

Cosy and chill place for a nice lunch or dinner. We went there at around 14.00 and finished the lunch at 16 and they were still serving food . The food was good and they offer different kinds of food- ranging from curry’s, meat balls, traditional Italian food, to burgers . The vine selection is wide and they have several good vines to pick from if you only want a glass. The place is in the city center - so not much parking nearby - but easily accessible from the main parking spot in the piazza or by foot. The meatballs with basmati rice was nice, but a bit dry as it misses a saucy texture. So if you like dry foods, then it’s great - otherwise you will need to get some other dish to go with it. Ambiance is 10/10 , exactly what I would expect from the city .

Cool little artsy bar in the bigger university district, next to the Jewish museum. I always stop here when I’m in Bologna. They serve coffee as well as drinks. You find a good mix of tourists, students and locals hanging out or working. They have plenty of seats outside but they are mostly taken.

This place is probably 4.5 stars! They have a good selection of wine! While I didn't have food the couple next to me said the sandwich was delicious. You can sit inside or outside. This place got pretty busy around lunch time! If you are near I will suggest stopping by!

The place is small and nice. They serve some appetizers with is super nice with the wine. The wine itself is limited if you drink just a glass and they did not want really to tell us the differences between the bottles.

I found Casa del Vino somewhat fortuitously and I am ever so grateful that I did. I am even more grateful that I found them on their last day of trading prior the August Summer break. The wine was fabulous, the food simple but so tasty and so perfectly matched to the lovely wines. The history of the store is fascinating. The store itself exists from the 1800s, and this family - Gianni’s Grand Father acquired it in the 1920s. It is presently run by Gianni and Nicoletta, with their daughter Bianca and son Nicola (the 4th generation), ably supported by the wonderfully knowledgeable Claudio. Like everything else, in the end it’s the heart and the soul that makes the difference. Folk who have visited Florence will agree that it is stuffed to the hilt with establishments also ostensibly with long histories, but now the only focus appears to be on fleecing tourists who are sometimes too lazy to check or do their research. And yet Casa del Vino remains true to their ethos and the wonderful family team make it what it truly is. I cannot wait to go back and meet everyone again. Thank you🙏

Brilliant place, hidden behind the leather stalls. There's a cosy and local atmosphere and the selection of wines are amazing, having top producers, not only in new vintages but also with some age, which is perfect for wine enthusiasts. The staff is very friendly and you'll have a great time here.

Excellent place to try wines, hang out among the locals, and grab a delicious snack. Friendly husband and wife team own the shop and were so kind and helpful. They speak only a little English, and I spoke a little Italian, so together we were able to chat a bit about retirement and beautiful places to see. Great experience, and excellent wines (we already miss the white wine we had!).

The place itself seems to be cozy but the staffs there seemed to be irritated giving simple information about the wines. I wonder why they have different kinds of wines if "they are all the same" as they said. And i still dont understand why the old lady staff in there toughly spilled all the ball pens in the pencil holder in front of me, all of sudden.

We had our final meal in Florence here. It looks like a very hard working couple run the place. Their fresh ginger juice was really tasty and we enjoyed the deconstructed vegan burger. The place was packed when we arrived but lucky to score the only seat outside. Tucked away from the craziness of the center, this place was great escape to have a quiet meal.

Food paradise. The moment I stepped into this place, time stood still, like magnetism I had to sit down and try some food. I had an immunity shot (body very happy) and a nourishing bowl (soul even happier). This bowl was divine. Incredible taste combination and even though I expected a warm dish, only the perfectly cooked sweet potato was warm - I couldn’t have been happier with my choice. From the first bite it felt like entering food heaven. Highly commend this place if you’re after something healthy and divinely delicious in welcoming environment 🙏

This was my favorite place we ate in Florence. It might not be the typical Florence visitors cup of tea, but the food was fresh and delicious and did what food is supposed to do - provided me with energy for the rest of the day. I had the Vitamin juice drink and the Nourish bowl and I can't recommend either highly enough. They were both delicious. Like I told my friends, I watched the chef grab fresh vegetables from the cart, walk them over to the prep station and make the bowl. Plus, the restaurant itself is cozy and welcoming. I'd go there everyday for lunch if I lived there. If you're in town, I suggest you check it out.

I hesitated to leave a review, but to help the business and others, I decided to share my experience. This cozy restaurant focuses on organic and healthy food options. We arrived for a late lunch just before 4 PM. One issue was the attitude of one of the staff members. Not only were we not greeted when walked in, when we asked at the cashier if the lunch menu was still available, she was very unbothered. While we understood that some dishes might not be available, her attitude left a very negative impression. Additionally, although the food was tasty and high-quality (my cheese platter and Cleanse cold-pressed juice were wonderful), the waiting time was really long, as some customers have noted. The place also seemed disorganized, with a big box on the seat and menus scattered on the table when we walked in. Fortunately, the owner and the other staff were nice and sincere, which allowed us to enjoy our meal in the end.

This is a great place to have tasty, natural, food. I had the avocado sandwich and my companions tried the chickpea burger. Both were delicious. I highly recommend it

I don’t have a lot to judge it from or compare it to as far as Italy since we just arrived but compared to similar places back home, I’d say the food was acceptable but not the tastiest or most flavorful. It was nice to have a salad as Italians seem to eat too much bread. 😂 I do love pasta but gosh I need my veggies! The chocolate cake didn’t taste like chocolate but maybe the one with coffee does? I don’t like coffee so I wasn’t interested in trying it out. Anyway, we had the fruity one which I didn’t love. The chocolate banana smoothies were better as far as chocolaty flavor is concerned (we love chocolate).The lady who served us was hospitable and friendly. She was most helpful in giving us the name of a couple of other vegan/vegetarian places to eat at which is helpful. Cute little place. The veggies are on display next to the seating area so the fruit flies were ridiculous: all up in and on our food. One fell and instantly died in my hot soup. I managed to scoop it out. I had the miso which wasn’t terribly salty. Overall, it’s nice to have an option to find fresh salads at and no meat to tarnish the food.

First off the bar staff are nice and good at their job. I was drinking at this bar last night and everything was fine until I bought a drink at another bar and sat outside with my friends who were still drinking at Modo. At this point the rudest man I have met in my entire 4 years of living in Bologna came to me and shouted at me in front of all the clientèle. He made racist comments and told me to go back to where I was from. I have never experienced anything like it. I cannot recommend this bar simply for this rude little man.

Modo Infoshop is absolutely my favorite book shop in Bologna. I always pop there when I am around and would recommend it to any book/art/thinker lovers. It's an independent bookstore and publishing house that has been there for many years now and it's worth keeping on supporting.

What a great place, the food was very tasty and there was plenty of it. It was certainly an experience sat eating pizza in the bowels of a ship. The decoration is superb with a very piratey theme. A popular place for families. The staff were very accommodating with our very bad italian and helpful communicating as best they could in English. Definitely recommend coming here. They have a nice selection of beers too.

Pizza boat! Love going to this place when I am in Ferrara. The pizza is great. The staff is friendly and attentive. Sadly only Gordon’s gin is available but the waffle with chocolate and/or ice cream makes up for it.

Would I come again? Yes! And again, and again. This is without doubt one of those places you never fail coming to to start a relax and fun night out with simple, good food and drinks. I try to come here at least once every time I am in town. Besides being a bar with a decent selection of drinks and bar foods, this is also a great pizzeria. The pizzas here are fantastic! Good size and delicious. And yes, this place is on a docked boat, which allows for a unique atmosphere. The guys and girls working here are all super friendly and smiling ear to ear. My favourite combo is the pizza Honolulu (and no there is no blasphemous pineapple on it) and a couple classic, simple gin & tonics.

Food was very good, everything else wasn't. Went there to watch a womens champion leauge game, staff woudn't put ut on because they wabted to watch a juve game. Would have spend 5 hours there and spend money but its o.k.

Great place to eat and drink. The service is efficient, the menu is rather pleasingly not in English: The menu is quite large and tables around us filled with delicious plates I thought I would be jealous of (did you see that steak?) until my pizza arrived. A great range of beers in all shapes and sizes. The stout was Murphys so I went for an IPA that went really well with my food. I wish I lived round the corner!

Real nice food, good service and good atmosphere. When we came, the music was pretty loud which was too much for our son. We asked to sit on the terrace, but that was closed so they turned down the volume. That way we could stay. We had a hot dog, polpeta and two kinds of pizza. The dough is really amazing. Try to stop by when you have the chance!

The food is very tasty and you can find a great variety of burgers, meats and french fries. If you’re hungry after a long day, this is definitely your place. The staff is very fast and kind. Really good beers. We will came again!

Very good food! The only thing I didnt like was that you can not get the menu in english and staff dont talk english. So you have to kind of guess what you are gonna eat if you dont speak italiano!

Beach front pub in Rimini. Generous seating capacity. Staff were great. Good selection of drinks and food. Service was excellent. Enjoyed the nuts and crisps which appeared on the table after our drinks order! Love sports and live music. Historically the 1st pub in Rimini. This was our local during our break away.

Good selection of beers. Live music, most of the time the bands are good. The waitress girl is very cranky. She obviously doesn't want to be there. The male waiters are very friendly and professional.

We waited over 15 minutes for a server and did not get one until we waived one down. Food was fine but we had to wave down a server for our wine, order, and bill. They had a large table in our area which our server spent a long time talking to the patrons there rather than looking after the other tables in her section., perhaps they need more staff.

I love the atmosphere, there is a lot of attention to the details, from the menù to the decour. The drinks are good and the service very attentive. A little cosy nice spot in Riccione worth it a visit.

I have seen the bar change hands over the years and was last there 25 year's ago dropped by the other week and was served by a nice polite girl. Had a couple of drinks on a very hot night and the place was packed and had a great atmosphere.

We attended Karaoke Trash night and it was AMAZING. We had a fantastic evening, great vibe, good fun and it is highly recommended. We came across it by chance as we saw them setting up the disco balls and confetti decorations and we had to go. I'm glad we did.

I searched online and it said one of the gay bars to visit. I went to this place and it wasn't like what it promoted online - it's not a GAY BAR. Something must be wrong that the owner tries to get customers in with bullshiting. I’m totally unsatisfied. :(

This place is a trick, it will put cheap liquor in branded bottles and sell it as brand aged liquor. It has Clase Azul tequila as the main brand and it was filled with Tequila Jimador. What a Fake

Honestly it looked like to be a very special place with all this motorbike story behind but what we found was a noisy place with a drunk owner and some waiters which were not willing to work... I won't come back.

I had Lunch here, The ambience was very nice and we can use this place for client meetings and lunch parties. The taste was good, As I am from india, I will give a moderate rating for the food taste though they are hygienic compared to other restaurants I have visited. This place was a bit expensive.

Some of the best pizza I've had in Reggio Emilia, and that basically says it all! Large selection of standard to unusual toppings. Fresh toppings, very clean place and friendly service.
