Very cool vibe, super friendly service. Amazing selection of craft cocktails, snacks including the best olives had brought to the table. Loved our time here!

I would call it the Neon Bar!! Hip atmosphere created by the dimmed lighting inside and pop of neon signs. Their menu has a wide selection of cocktails you've probably never seen before. Presentation, taste of drinks and service were Amazing!

Could have been perfect if my negroni with Worcester sauce in it didn’t that have that weird after taste. My friends drink were nice though. Overall the place looks nice with a few quirky things around to make it look special. The toothbrushes in the toilet added that special touch! It wasn’t expensive over all and there is definitely a good list of drinks so I would recommend to go there

Witty Bar. Each drink emanating a film. They make their own tinctures and aperitif. They are awesome! The verde was our favorite and the blueberry. They are available to purchase by the bottle. I loved my cocktails. They also have mezcals 🙌🏼 The vibe is dive- grungy but the service is awesome everyone was so nice and they give you American snacks to go with your drinks. Corn Nuts and tortilla chips with salsa. We went twice.

The staff in this bar is really funny. They were singin along to every song and serving up drinks with a big smile all the time. The cocktails were also very tasty and well balanced. The interior is a bit quirky but that makes it all even more fun. A good place to grab som drinks and have a nice time!

We went for opening time at 6pm for some before dinner drinks as we knew we couldn’t reserve. We were first there and of course seated no problem. At this time the service was great! It quickly filled up over the couple of hours we were there. We had cocktails from the menu and asked for some that weren’t on it. All delicious!

If you're in for a cocktail experience, it's the place to go. Awesome service and awesome drinks. The place is really charming. Yes, a little pricey but you won't have the same experience elsewhere.

Atmosphere: 10/10 Located not far from the Duomo, Locale Firenze transports you into a palazzo from the 1200s, balancing medieval architecture with modern elegance. The half open-air concept, soaring ceilings, chandeliers, antique furniture, and plenty of greenery make it one of the most dramatic bar spaces in Florence. Music volume is spot on, the backbar is stunning, and seating is ample both at the counter and for groups. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: Kenmoonshine Unfortunately, the menu is digital only—which is not ideal. That said, their digital design is at least creative, with ABV indicators and glassware previews. The selection is solid, featuring interesting ingredients and good balance in flavor. Glassware is above average, coasters aren’t used, garnishes are minimal, and presentation is kept basic. Service: 9/10 Water served on arrival, plus complimentary snacks and even a welcome drink. The team is very friendly, professional, and attentive. Reservations aren’t needed for the bar, and prices are above average for Florence.

⭐ Locale Firenze – 2/5 We paid €380 for 2 adults and 2 children, and honestly, we were disappointed. The food wasn’t bad, but it was nowhere near worth that price. The place is beautiful, with an elegant atmosphere clearly designed for a “jet-set” clientele, but the value for money is completely unreasonable. What surprised us most is that no one seemed shocked to charge such an excessive price, and no one offered a children’s menu. We had to find it ourselves through the drink QR code, and luckily we did — otherwise, we would have paid even more. Also, not every dish was successful: the pigeon and the lamb were quite ordinary and served without sides, and the dessert was average at best. The food was fine, but definitely not for this kind of price. The next day, we dined at a Michelin-starred restaurant, Konnubio, paying only €140 for 4 people — and that was a true gastronomic experience, refined and delicious, far beyond our expectations. Here, despite the high bill, we left still feeling hungry, and to top it off, by the end of the evening the music was turned up so loud that we couldn’t even talk to each other. The purpose of this review is to warn other guests and encourage the restaurant team to reflect, because at these prices, you expect much more quality and care. Avoid these kinds of “tourist traps” — I don’t support such practices, and that’s exactly why I’m writing this review.

An excellent restaurant. The service was perfect and the food wonderful. Our Sommelier recommended the perfect wine. Our one slight gripe was the volume of the music. We are surprised that this restaurant has not received a star from Michelin.

The experience of integrating art and food, the restaurant atmosphere is very good and suitable for a romantic dinner, As for the dishes, except for the lamb shank steak which is relatively lean, the other dishes are all good. the service is good. In addition the restaurant's bar was named one of the World's 50 Best Bars for 2022-2024.

Beautiful bar and great DJ with inventive cocktails and amazing light bites! We stopped by here after dinner and had a great night. We started out with tomato and watermelon cocktails and everything was delicious! Would love to come back! :)

The backbar is beautiful and fitting to the theme. Seating is limited at the bar (just four stools) but there are plenty of group tables. Drinks: 8.5/10 Recommendation: ARP The menu is stylish and well-produced, offering a broad selection of signature cocktails. Flavors are decent and balanced, though not at the very top tier. Unique coasters, above-average glassware, and selective garnishes add refinement, while presentation overall remains straightforward. Service: 8/10 Water is served on arrival. The team is friendly, professional, and attentive. Reservations are recommended given the intimate space. Prices are significantly above Florence average, but in line with its exclusive speakeasy positioning.

Great speakeasy in Florence! Love that it is an unmarked door with a doorbell, with their name small. Makes it more authentic. Cocktails were pricey, but good! For the price, I was hoping for a little more to the drinks, such as maybe a design in the egg white foam, or an edible flower added to the drink. The service was great and the staff were so friendly. They had an extensive whiskey list as well.

The most expensive cocktails you will have but it will be worth it. Service was beyond excellent, the atmosphere was great. Check it out if you are fine for paying a premium for the experience

Super dope speakeasy that genuinely makes you feel like you’re in the 1920s. Need to make reservations if you want to come here. Good music, amazing atmosphere, and top tier cocktails. Some of the things on the menu look interesting but a lot of it comes out great. The rules they have definitely make everyone feel safe and I think that’s the great thing about this place.

Drinks were unique and appealing for those who are interested in mixology and trying out new cocktails and flavours! The place is very intimate, it’s not your everyday go to bar but definitely worth a try for a cozy night out! Quite pricey though. Staff were also very friendly and knowledgable on the drinks and able to give good recommendations based on your taste.

The cocktails were out of this WORLD. 20/10 recommend! The owner was so kind and knowledgeable. He’s basically a chemist of cocktails! Going to the Bitter Bar was a major component of what what decided my itinerary in Florence. I am passionate about bitter cocktails and had heard about this bar's near-legendary status among those who crave a crafted cocktail, novel alcoholic delicacies, and the finer side of drinking. If you want to be catered to by the most masterful bartender, spend your evening relaxing in in a 1920s speakeasy atmosphere, and have the absolute best time, you should come to this bar. I felt safe, I felt special, and we wound up closing out the bar at 2:00 a.m! Please do yourself a favor, it is an absolute delight and a truly extraordinary experience.

Mehran is a very welcoming, professional mixologist - he is a perfectionist and knowledgeable about cocktails. He uses premium liquors for cocktail. If you want something different, some speak-easy vibe, definitely come here and you won’t be disappointed. He will serve you with all the hospitality and give you very different experience.

This is an experience and a half!! Coolest cocktail bar, EVER!!!! Proprietor is delightfully passionate about the crafting of each beverage! So glad we chose it for our birthday celebration.

This place is extremely misleading. It’s such a beautiful and cool spot, BUT the menu is not good at all. The name of the place is bitter bar however there is not one single amaro on the menu. Everything is whiskey and whiskey base cocktails which is certainly not for everyone. Since they didn’t have any Amaro, I figured I would give one of the cocktails a shot. I could not drink it because it was so strong. Even my husband who likes whiskey did not like it whatsoever. It wasn’t a cocktail drink — it was just straight up whiskey with a hint of cherry. The drinks are also extremely expensive costing us €20 each. I hope this place advances their menu because it is very beautiful inside but looks are definitely deceiving.

From the moment we went in we felt like we entered another world not just because of the intricate well crafted cocktails and recommended to each one of us taste perfectly, but the owner and his genuine warmth and care was out of this world (very beautiful to see someone work with their chemistry and art in drinks so beautifully) , its so rare these days to find a place like this rich in experience service and company, i recommend 100000% you wont regret it! "Bitter Bar" - should have amaro selection and bitters right? Nope! Extremely overpriced cocktails that were basically undrinkable, no balance, just straight alcohol. The place inside is very nice, but the prices are incredibly high- €20 for a tiny pour of whiskey (not even something rare) is absurd.

Visited 3 times, each was fantastic food and wine, love they support small Vineyards, and serve fresh quality delicious bites alongside the wines. Staff is very friendly. Tight seating quarters, but if you enjoy Italian wines, its the best!

Recently I was part of a group of 9 and Ciro was our gracious host for an 8 wine blind tasting apericena experience in the new tasting room. It was spectacular! The new space is gorgeous, the selection of cheeses were heavenly, my partner and I couldn’t even pick a favorite as all 8 were equally delicious. Ciro was a perfect host, clearly a well trained sommelier; but was able to translate his knowledge into an easy to digest format for less experienced wine enthusiast along with weaving in the stories of the producers. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite wine bar in Florence by far. I will always make the trip. Reserve a day in advance if you want to sit outside or get seats at the bar walk in if they have them. Ask for a recommendation based on what wine notes you like or to pair with your food. I’ve never been disappointed, in fact my mind has always been blown. Friendliest service, wonderful atmosphere. Also, inside has wifi and AC, which was unexpected and so refreshing on a hot day.

If you love great wines and good food, there is one place you have to try in Firenze. This one The best experience is to sit at the bancone and watch the magic unfold. Passionate owners, the crostone are to die for, everything is absolutely perfect.

A hidden gem in Florence! Cozy spot with amazing service and a unique selection of Italian white wines you won’t easily find elsewhere. The crostoni and food were delicious. Staff was super friendly. My friend’s family owns a B&B nearby and always recommended it, now that we tried it, he’ll recommend it even more!

Fantastic find near the Ponte Vecchio. It's quiet enough and away from the crowds. They have an updated wine board with their offerings and a knowledgeable staff to recommend them. The food (we got the Italian meat and cheeses combo) was a great addition. Would love to cross the bridge and enjoy more of it anytime.

We came here to have an afternoon drink and it was a very good choice - a typical italian wone bar, with cheese and charcuterie plates to share. We tried 3 different white wines and the price was quite reasonable! The staff was happy to help us. The italian cheeses we tried were also very good and filled us! Very nice place to go at the end of the afternoon.

Manifattura showcases Italian spirits with a great concept and an even better show from the bartender. Drinks came with seasoned olives and taralli—a thoughtful touch missing from many other Florence bars. That said, while the house cocktails were tasty, they lacked a real kick. We had to switch to the classics just to taste the liquor. Go for the vibes.

Finding this place was a happy surprise- we were planning to go to another bar around the corner but it was closed so we wandered and found Manifattura. Lucky us! Our server was very kind and patient- we don't speak Italian- and we really loved the cocktails we ordered. The snacks he brought us were just right as well. Quality ingredients and a fun vibe make this bar one to add to your list!

Popped in for a cocktail before a concert and everything was incredible from the warm welcome, to sharing the Wi-Fi and QR code for English before I even sat in the chair, to water and snacks while I surveyed the menu. I recommend sitting at the bar so you can enjoy the cocktail maestro as he prepares your delicious cocktail. I will be back!

Manifattura is such a cool spot in Florence. It’s a dark, moody cocktail bar with great music and a stylish vibe that feels both modern and classic. The menu highlights only Italian-made spirits, which makes it a unique place to discover cocktails you won’t find elsewhere. The staff are fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to make recommendations based on your tastes. They also provide guidance in English, and there’s an English menu online, which makes the experience really easy if you’re visiting. Free WiFi is another nice touch. If you’re looking for a cocktail bar that goes beyond the typical tourist experience and want something authentic, atmospheric, and memorable, Manifattura is absolutely worth a stop.

Tried 5 drinks, all drinks have Italian spirits only which is really interesting The flavors were not the common super sweet cocktails full of syrup, really intresting flavors some may not like but its definetly interesting, also the vibe is chill really cool.

Walking into your restaurant was like walking into an enchanted boutique store which served food and drinks and soothed the eyes with the colourful products...the decor was truly exquisite and the high ceilings and archways added so much history to the ambience...The hostess was extremely professional...the Limoncello Gin drink was absolutely fresh!!. Being a vegetarian I enjoyed the sage and asparagus agnolotti...so much flavour!! We also enjoyed the jacket potato and truffle!!The staff was very professional and made our evening memorable ♥️♥️ Thank You🙏🏽

Cute place but I don’t think the food is worth all the hype at all. Local guides were right. Try to get a sit near the piano as it has more natural light coming out of a dome. I had the pancakes with fruits. Make sure you order the syrup on the side coz it’s very sweet. The smoothie was not as tasty I wanted

The restaurant is absolutely stunning—so fancy and beautifully designed, with a great atmosphere that feels high-end but still welcoming. The food was delicious, and I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s not just a place to eat, but also a lovely spot to socialize and gather with friends. You can even buy flowers or candles, or simply enjoy the live piano music, which adds a special touch. Highly recommend!

We came on a cool September night and sat outside while we enjoyed some cocktail. Cool jazz and r&b soul music. The vibe here is impeccable, from the decor to the music to the energy of the space. We ordered the Royal Garibaldi, and it was fresh, crisp, and so balanced. Definitely a step up from your usual spritz, it’s complex and bright, just like the atmosphere. If you’re in Florence and want to soak in an unforgettable evening with great drinks and even better vibes, this is the place. Can’t recommend it enough.

I visited this place for breakfast. The atmosphere is quite fancy, but pretentious. The coffee was decent, nothing exceptional, and the breakfast itself looked elegant but didn’t stand out in terms of taste or quality. The staff were polite, though not particularly warm, and overall the service felt a bit cold. In general, it wasn’t a bad experience, but nothing memorable either. I don’t think I would choose this place again if I’m back in town.

Only came for a glass of wine. Randomly stumbled upon it because the wine window place a few doors down was flooded with other tourists taking selfies. Staff were great and the wine selection was exceptional. They let you take your glass of wine outside and chill in the street without a deposit and it’s just a friendly place.

Most amazing place for a good vino. The staff is amazing and very social. We orderd a few rounds of wine and amazing cheese and meat platter. But with that the staff also is giving you a lot of extras to taste. And they really know about taste… A place i always go back to when in Florence. It’s a small place, so sometimes it’s packed. But don’t worry in summer you can sit in the street to get the Italian feeling ;) Also really worth the money, you pay not that much but get a full experience

There’s a cover fee of €3 per person, and the caffe is on the pricier side. We were a party of 2. The breakfast was good. My pancakes came covered with melted cheese, which I found to be very different, but I enjoyed them. My husband enjoyed his Eggs Benedict as well. The ambience was great. Tommaso was our waiter and he was good.

I rarely visit the same place twice when travelling — yet in just 2.5 days, we found ourselves at Gilli not once, not twice, but five times! That says it all. We first stopped in for breakfast at the bar and were served by Antonio, who delivered not only delicious coffee but truly outstanding service. Despite the rush of a busy morning, he took the time to chat with us, introduced us to “El Padre,” and even surprised us with a little chocolate treat. His warmth and professionalism made us feel right at home, so we returned that very afternoon for more coffee — and once again, Antonio was just as attentive and friendly. An absolute star! Later that night, we came back for cocktails. Juan Carlos greeted us with the same level of hospitality — engaging conversation, fantastic drink recommendations, and what was genuinely the best Espresso Martini I’ve ever had. Of course, we couldn’t resist returning the next day for breakfast, pastries, and a final coffee before leaving Florence — we kept finding excuses to come back! I cannot recommend Gilli highly enough. Delicious food, fantastic coffee, excellent cocktails — but above all, the exceptional service from the team truly made our experience unforgettable. We will absolutely return the next time we’re in Florence! ✨🍸☕️

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We were a party of two and everything from start to finish was excellent. The food was delicious, the place was spotless and the service was top-notch. A special shout-out to Noa and Carmelo, who were especially kind and attentive throughout our visit. Caffe Gilli was on my list before my arrival. I wanted a place with nice view and a bit of Parisian chic and it's the closest to that. I arrived by 9 AM and enjoyed their breakfast. They have good options from eggs to pastry and really good coffee. It was not too crowded and I was lucky to sit near the piazza, it got lore crowded afterwards. The service was nice and pleasant.

After a full day of touring, found this great place to unwind. Great seating with the right atmosphere. Had Champagne Fritz & Gillitz cocktails. Smooth and great drinks. Service by Virginia with great smiles and courteous. Simple greeting or by asking how’s things is good enough to feel welcomed. Thank you Virginia.

Gilli’s Cafe was one of the must visit places on our list while we were in Florence, Italy. Known for their Schiacciata (Italian sponge cake). Elegant yet casual dining. Servers were attentive and accommodating. We also ordered the Chocolate Eclair. But the Schiacciata was definitely a Life Changing experience. It was light and airy with a creamy layer topped with powdered sugar. Amazingly delicious.

Amazing. If you are in Florence you must go here. Incredible coffee, pastries, cocktails and everything in between. Every member of staff is friendly and attentive . Thomas really stood out in particular and made us feel so welcome. One of the absolute highlights of our holiday. Thank you

At every stage of the experience was wonderful. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. We had lunch, grilled prawn salad and grilled octopus and it was delicious, filling yet light. The views are phenomenal from here. Must go if you stop by Florence

Truly a five star experience in Firenze (Florence). The ambiance is modern yet unobtrusive to the experience. The staff and service is beyond incredible and the sommelier had a truly in-depth knowledge of the wine cellar. The food was on par with any Michelin rated restaurant that I’ve ever been to.

Amazing views and great service but they really need to improve their mocktails list. A place charging this much for drinks should be able to make good non alcoholic drink. Especially since not drinking alcohol is on the rise. We ordered the spaghetti for €26 which was quite expensive but absolutely delicious. The breads provided were also really good. They only however had 3 non alcoholic drinks so the waitress recommended the wellspring which we ordered. That was honestly one of the grossest things we've ever tasted! We would have loved to go back for dinner but again I can't stress enough how gross that drink was. At €20 for non alcoholic drinks they should all be delicious! We still enjoyed our meal overall since the spaghetti was so good but please improve your mocktails for non drinkers!

The food was incredible, the views were beautiful, the service was impecable. The music was terrible, at least while we were there. It felt like a U.S. night club. So that was off putting at lunch time in Florence. However, they still get 5 out of 5 for incredible service and some of the better food we had during our whole stay. We couldn’t get a dinner reservation, as they were booking a week out for that.

Incredible rooftop bar in Florence. We walked in without a reservation, and were immediately seated at the absolute best corner table in the place. You have an amazing view of the river, bridges, and Florence skyline. Service was outstanding, the waitress always came over to check in and refill our wine glasses at just the right time. Drinks are a bit pricey as you would expect, but worth it for the incredible view, service, and ambience

The view from the terrace is superb over Florence, but, on the other hand, the service leaves much to be desired. I ordered 3 cocktails, and in the end, on the bill, they charged me for 4. Luckily, I was inspired to check, and I won't even mention that the order came half an hour after I reminded them of my order, which they had forgotten.

Title: Great wine selection, but disappointing service from our server We visited Enoteca Pitti Gola e Cantina because it was recommended by Wine Spectator, and the wine list truly is impressive — an extensive and well-curated selection of Italian wines. We were two couples and went for some wine and light snacks. When we arrived, there wasn’t a table available for four, so we had to sit separately. Once a table behind our friends became available, we asked to move so we could sit closer together, but our server, Noemi, wasn’t very accommodating and seemed somewhat annoyed by the request. We mentioned that we wanted to share a few dishes and asked about portion sizes, but Normi didn’t explain things clearly and wasn’t very friendly. She insisted the plates weren’t meant for sharing, which turned out not to be true. The wine itself was excellent, and the snacks were good — but the overall service from Noemi felt unfriendly and not very customer-oriented. I’d still recommend the place if you’re interested in trying great Italian wines, but be aware that the service experience may not match the quality of the wine.

I am a sommelier and was recommended to go here but 2 other Sommelier friends that I have back home. Plan ahead for this and make a reservation plenty of time in advance. I was very happy to get the last slot on the last day I was in Florence and I booked 2 weeks ahead. The food was fantastic and the service was great. I got the truffle tasting menu and my mom got an a la cart dish. They were so nice and brought my mom a first bite along with mine so she would have something. The wines were expertly paired with every course and my mom got the Sangiovese flight. The veil was a highlight for me and my mom loved her dish as well. The staff knew a lot about the wines that they were pouring and were able to answer all my mom’s questions. The desserts were INCREDIBLE. My mom got tiramisu and I got a ricotta gelato with an olive oil drizzle. At the end I asked them about a bottle I was on the search for and they wrote down a Enoteca that they thought would carry it. I would 100% return and would recommend it to any wine lover looking for a great dinner in Florence.

After seeing the positive reviews online, we made a reservation on their website and came in during lunchtime to do a wine tasting. The staff was very friendly and so knowledgeable about wine. We had a great time learning about each wine that we were trying. After the wine tasting, we ordered a few things to eat and got recommendations for what wine to have with our food!

We came for the tasting and wine pariring menu. It did not disappoint! The food was excellent, the wine they paired with each dish were perfect, and the service was top-notch! Very kind, generous and warm. A must if you’re in Florence!

Our server was great at explaining the wines. The bar was very welcoming and they let us know it’s a wine tasting place. The appetizers paired with the wine well. The view was also amazing!

Being from a major food and drinks city (New Orleans, Louisiana USA) I’ll say this is an incredible wine experience in the heart of Firenze. Knowledgeable, patient, and kind staff that over delivers in every aspect. The entire team at Enoteca Pitti Gola e Cantina is first class and the wine list is first rate. Highly recommend this establishment and will certainly be back. Be sure to get some snacks and ask for their wine and local eats recommendations!

If you are a solo female traveler DO NOT come here. I had a super uncomfortable experience here. I tried to talk to the entirely male staff in English inside the bar by myself and they laughed at me. I tried again to order in Italian and they just refused to take my order. Luckily I was with my boyfriend who was waiting outside but with how uncomfortable and douchey the staff was, we quickly left to no shortage of other kinder bars.

Atmosphere is great but i cannot say the same about service. We waited so much to just to get the menu. Their spritz was good tho very light and tasty. But i think it’s expensive for a spritz. I really liked their antipasti.

Amazing little bar, came here for an aperitif and it was one of our favourite bars in Italy! Great staff and drinks. The snacks were amazing. Watch out for the pigeons (we named them Peter and Paul) we used a straw to bat them away and after that they left us alone haha!

I’ve been going to Volume almost daily for months, and I can say without hesitation that the staff — especially Mike — are some of the kindest, most professional people I’ve encountered in Florence. This review feels wildly out of character with everything I’ve seen. Volume is a creative, lively space — but it’s also a working venue, not an open piano bar. The staff are there to make sure the experience stays enjoyable for everyone, not just one group. I’ve seen Mike handle situations with patience and respect — including ones that could’ve easily escalated. If you’re looking for warmth, culture, and genuinely good people, this is it. One dramatic review doesn’t reflect the reality of this place.

What a find. Located on a popular piazza with great atmosphere. Superb cocktails, free tray of hors d’ouvre and great service. Best to get there early as it’s very popular. Most cocktails are 9€ and excellent. Definitely a bar to include.

Sophisticated ambience and great food. Having been in Italy for a while it was a much needed variation from pizza and pasta. Still Italian influenced but with other cultural influences and healthy ingredients. Fantastic.

Special drinks were not very special, and the bill was more than I spent on any other restaurant here with less than half the food and half the taste.

Cannot fault the cocktails just a shame it is in quite a cold setting which lacks any real character. Would be much better if the setting was quirky and had a bit more about it rather than being a room within a hotel.

Love love LOVE these cocktails!!! Hands down the best cocktails in Florence. Super creative and delicious as well as excellent presentation. I always go during their happy hour (every day, 5pm to 7pm). All cocktails are €10 rather than the typical €12-€16!

Much smaller than the photos make it out to be, and very very expensive! We took a chance without a booking and stayed for 1 drink. €22 per cocktail... it was delicious but by far the most expensive drink of my holiday. View was lovely but not sure it would be worth returning too, there are better rooftop bars in Florence in my opinion. View from the toilet was a bonus!

This is a cute rooftop inside Hotel Continental that is popular during sunset - although you can’t really see much as the bar area is blocking the view. But nonetheless, it provides a romantic atmosphere. The cocktails were extremely pricey when we went in August 2025. I was here the first time in September 2010 and it was so nostalgic that I wanted to revisit the rooftop again. Snacks were provided with your drinks.

Great view, but the bar clearly shows disparate treatment toward non-Caucasian customers. We were a party of three. When we arrived, several tables had just been vacated. The bar manager claimed they were all reserved and directed us to sit at the countertop instead. However, multiple parties arrived after us—without reservations—and were seated at those same tables. When I confronted the bar supervisor, he said the tables could only accommodate two people. As shown in the photo below, most parties of two were sitting on the same side with an empty chair, making it clear that these tables could easily fit three. His explanation was completely unfounded. After 30 minutes and several confrontations, we were finally seated—at a table identical to the ones given to the other parties. The waitress was nice and the only highlight. I would avoid this bar at all costs.

Was a bit hesitant about this place as I thought it might be a huge tourist trap and very over priced, but was pleasantly surprised!!! My bf and I got signature cocktails which were 22 euros each but SO good and came with lots of chips and nuts to snack on. View was AMAZING and sunset over the river was perfect. Definitely recommend even for one drink.

Well, unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the actual area of the bar as it was undergoing renovations, but it was a lovely site nevertheless! The service was outstanding, and combined with Italian friendly hospitality, chefs kiss. The drinks were delicious although the size of them was a bit smaller than I would’ve liked. Food? We had a salad and a burger, the burger was fantastic but the salad was really nothing special unfortunately. So that takes 4/5 stars in the food department

We were at Atrium Bar for tea and had a wonderful, peaceful experience. The space is elegant and calm, with beautiful design and a serene atmosphere inside the Four Seasons Florence. The tea selection was excellent, served with care and accompanied by delicate pastries. It felt luxurious yet welcoming, with attentive and professional service. It’s an ideal spot to take a quiet break from the busy city. While on the expensive side, the experience, setting, and service make it worthwhile. A refined and relaxing afternoon treat.

We returned to the Four Seasons Florence after staying here last year, and once again it was a truly unforgettable experience. The Atrium Bar has become our favorite spot in the hotel, and this time we chose it to celebrate our daughter’s freshman year at the NYU Florence campus in Villa la Pietra. We were fortunate to be looked after by Leonardo, whose service was outstanding — gentle, funny, professional, and attentive in every detail. He even surprised our daughter with a thoughtful treat to mark this special milestone, which made the evening all the more memorable. The combination of the refined setting, warm hospitality, and Leonardo’s exceptional service made the Atrium Bar the perfect place to celebrate. We cannot recommend it highly enough, and we look forward to returning again soon.

The hotel and grounds are stunning so I figured it would be a lovely location for high tea. In my opinion it wasn’t the greatest high tea as the desserts and sandwiches were average though the scones impressed. I personally didn’t like the berry tea either. The luxe atmosphere however cannot be faulted

Visited Ditta Artigianale, a well-known café in Florence located on Via dei Neri. We chose it for breakfast since it opens quite early, at 07:30, which was perfect before starting our activities. At the time, we had to wait a little and were put on the waiting list, but it was worth it. We ordered a cappuccino and a flat white. The flat white turned out to be one of the best we’ve ever had, while the cappuccino was also excellent. To go along with it, we tried their pastries: a Danish strawberry pastry and a Pistachio croffin. Both were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delightful. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely a place we’d recommend if you’re looking for high quality coffee and pastries in Florence.

Is a cute small coffee shop at the corner of Florence main objects. It was nice coz they let us to choose the coffee beans. As for the interior, I would advice to have a more comfortable chairs (but it just my opinion) The staff, I believe, is the most that reflects this place, they were super friendly, very informative and polite.

Coffe and pastries are good, but don’t order the Benedict eggs. They are horrible! Hard boiled eggs that are overpriced, very disappointing, plus no sides just the eggs. This was the most horrible breakfast experience, we were looking forward to have the Benedict’s, never thought Italy would have bad food. Our bill was €42… most expensive breakfast without meat.

Tried Ditta Artigianale for the first time on my trip to Florence. No doubt it’s a cute little space with cozy vibes. A lot of options to choose from. I tried their cappuccino and chocolate pistachio bread and it was great. Have you ever seen a seahorse on a cappuccino ? Well if you haven’t then the barista here won’t disappoint at all 😊 I found him really impressive with his skills. Lovely staff and good service !

Location wise this is a great spot to have a little rest before seeing more sights. This coffee shop is nice and efficient, make sure you checkout the takeaway vs dine in queues. The pastries are top notch and the coffee is great too.

The aeropress and Dubai Choc Cafe were both amazing! I was so excited to be the very first person to order the Dubai Choc Cafe. The pastries were also fresh. Just a heads-up that hot breakfast items are only served after 8:30 AM.

Great little pub with a few tables inside but the majority in the square. This location caters to tourists and spoke English. They served the best Greek Salad that we have had so far. In some ways it almost seemed like it was marinated but it was delicious with olives, fetta, tomatoes, lettuce, with olive oil dressing. The Burger was good. Some of our meals hadn't had a lot of meat and so one of our people needed some protein. The sandwiches were fresh. They have a restroom in the downstairs of the bar for customers, you have to be able to climb stairs to go inside, but they do have a buzzer if a person can't climb and have great setting outdoors under the awnings/tents. The misters help make it comfortable in the July sun.

The first impression is a tourist hotspot, but once you get in, the decoration was a nice twist, similar to other European cities I've been to doing the Irish theme. Order the Guinness as it would be rude not to as not a bad pint, reasonable price of €7. Went on a Tuesday, so I had the wing special well worth the moneyband comes out quick. The only downside is the sauce they use it cold, which makes the wings cool down much quicker. Overall, it's worth a visit.

Do not attend, staff were rude and arrogant. One of them is currently flirting with some girls at the bar, when he should be pouring us the beer we paid for. We ordered a pitcher worth 2.3L of Stella Artois (which supposedly worked out cheaper than 4 ‘pints’) and we recieved no more than 1.8L of beer. We tried to reason with the staff, but they were unfriendly and refused to serve us our beer- IT WAS SIMPLE MATHS. Why have it on the menu if it doesn’t work out better value for money ?? Tunes are STINKY- Mo Bamba by Sheck wes on at the moment; a banger of course, but in a ‘pub’ ??? Let’s not take the piss. Not what you want to be hearing. The Stella tasted off anyway. We were only there, as they seemed to be the only place showing Liverpool v Bournemouth. What a game btw, the prem is BACK. Should I get Ekitike in my FPL?? Anyway, avoid.

Fun pub in the heart of Florence. Chill atmosphere, very “bar food” style but it hits the spot. The crowd is young but still cool. Best part, awesome place to watch sports. We came in for an Alabama SEC football game and they had it up on the TV for us within minutes.

A great college pub in Florence. It has become the drinking hangout of US college students studying abroad. The bartender was great. I had a pint and bought a t-shirt.

Please come try it, you will not regret it. We have gone to bars of the prestige of Handshake speakeasy and this one is one of the best cocktail bars we have gone to. The owner is amazing and the cocktails are great. I think this is one of the most imaginative and great bars out there, at least the best in Florence.

We didn’t order any food at Mayday, but their cocktails were outstanding, innovative and very delicious. The atmosphere is eclectic and the vibe is warm and relaxed. Our server Debra was kind and so helpful in explaining how some of the drinks are made from specially curated ingredients. Tucked away in a small alley, I highly recommend Mayday as a neat place to have a drink with a few friends as the atmosphere seemed better suited for an intimate gathering and perhaps not a loud group.

This is a MUST if you are in Florence and in search of incredible cocktails. I have been to cocktail bars around the US, Europe, and Asia and this is easily top 3. Marco, the owner the bartender has owned the bar for 25 years and curated the most unique and varied cocktail list. I like light sweeter cocktails and my personal favorites were the Green Power, Special Guest, Il Principe D’India, Il Re De Francia, and Provando Riprovando. Me and my husband came here 2/3 of our nights in Florence because it was so incredible. Truly truly unique and Marco even let us try his own liquor he created in his lab. Cannot recommend enough, such a unique and memorable experience. Loved it all!

Michael, the owner, is the man! We came in looking for a solid cocktail bar and found our go-to any time we’re in town. He is incredibly knowledgeable and Mayday Club’s cocktail list is polished and intriguing. We have yet to find a boring concoction and Michael guided us through all of his homemade mixes and custom creations. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The best cocktails over ever had. The owner makes all the cocktail mixers from scratch. The drinks I had almost tasted like a smoothie, I joked with the owner and said “I feel like this is a healthy drink” I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something more than just a drink.

Worst cocktail I’ve ever had. Terrible drinks. The parring of food did not make any sense with the beverage. They were very water down and did not love how they tasted at all. Would not recommend.

Staff were friendly, and the restaurant gives off a (false) stylish vibe. I am giving one star because I paid 15€ for this one dish… the milanese with patate fritte. A portion of this size is shocking for such a price, especially in comparison to the size of the pasta dishes that my friends had (which did in fact look good).

Place can be very busy during Saturday nights and summer days especially on the weekends. Best day to go in here is during Thursday and Friday nights. Their cocktails are really good! Also the place is aesthetically pleasing and well designed. They also have music and it's not very loud. Employees are also accommodating but they don't have a lot of tables since the place isn't big.

My husband is on a mission to make this a “get our steps in” vacation. After walking through Florence until my feet were bloody stumps, we stopped at this hip little bar for some rest and refreshment. It was the perfect place for a break. Hip tunes playing, great Aperol Spritz, and a great little snack tray with different meats and cheeses. It’s worth a visit if you are exhausted and injured or not. Went clubbing at Red Garter with my friends in Florence and it was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The place is divided into two sections: a lively dance floor with commercial music and a karaoke bar — which I personally enjoyed the most. The atmosphere was full of energy and great vibes all around. Entrance is €10, but it includes a free drink, which makes it a pretty good deal. Definitely worth checking out if you want a fun night out in Florence!

While visiting Florence, we really wanted to see the Steeler game. We had heard they show the NFL, so we stopped in and asked the manager. When we returned the next day, he had saved us a table and we got to watch our game! Fun atmosphere, with different games going on in different parts of the restaurant. Great hamburgers! The staff couldn't have been nicer. It was a fun experience while traveling! Thank you!

Came here on Taco Tuesday, had the best waiter. Highly recommend coming here Monday’s for trivia night, Tuesday for Tacos and Wednesday and Thursday for Wings and cheesy fries!!! Come here with friends and family and you’ll leave with a fully belly and fun vibes from the food and drinks.

We have found this place on our first day in Florence, and kept returning on other days too, it was ideal to take a break😅 the pastries are delicious, and eating them inside, standing near a table are around 3€, eating them outside at the terace doubles the price. The coffee was also good☕️ With ordering drinks, beer and nonalcoholic cocktail, they served us free snacks.

Honestly no idea why this place only has 3.5 starts the tiramisu is delicious, staff patient and helpful, interior beautiful coffee amazing strawberry tart lovely americano portion generous. Cannot say a single bad word. If you don’t feel like a sweet treat you can have a huge portion of fruits which is super sweet. I really like it

Wonderful. They were understaffed but the waiter found us a place to sit and spoke enough English for us to be able to communicate. The food was the best I have had in Italy. I ordered the Beef Filet and my husband ordered the Beef Peppered Stew. We both enjoyed our meals. We had some hot chocolate before hand to warm us up. Mine has whipped cream and his had coffee in it. The price is high. I wouldn’t usually pay 10 Euros for a hot chocolate but we were celebrating our anniversary so it was a splurge. We sat in their outside seating which was heated.

When you sit down outside in the Plaza items are expensive. Go inside and the prices are just like everywhere in Florence for coffee and pastries. I enjoyed my overpriced Limoncello spritz and free nibbles taking in the beautiful plaza. Went inside and had the best cannoli in my life. Not too rich, not too sour. The casing was perfect. The rumpope tasting eclair was phenomenal as well. I want to go back before on the way to the train station to have it again. Quick polite service.

I stopped by Rivoire and tried the tiramisu and cheesecake — both were absolutely delicious! The tiramisu was perfectly creamy and rich, and the cheesecake was smooth with just the right sweetness. The atmosphere is elegant, with a lovely view of Piazza della Signoria, making it the perfect spot for a dessert break in Florence. Highly recommend!

Stylish Stop for a Drink with a View We stopped by for drinks rather than food and grabbed a spot in the very comfortable outdoor seating area overlooking the stunning Palazzo Vecchio. It was raining and the place was understandably in high demand, the staff were doing their absolute best to accommodate everyone with patience and professionalism. I had an espresso martini (€16) and a beer (€9.50)—a little steep, and sadly expected for the location. Service was great, and while we didn’t stay long, it was a lovely spot to pause, sip, and soak up the atmosphere of the square.

Great place to have breakfast and aperitivo as well!!! The service was extraordinary, the coffee by David was by far one of the best cappuccinos I’ve had my entire life and the pastries and cocktails were exquisite. Totally recommend this a beautiful spot in the center of Florence.

Do not enter this bar. We decided not to stay and procure any drinks or food after a short wait, as we had been seated in the direct sun without any shade. We used the restroom and were stopped on exit. As my partner took this one and only photo, we forced to buy a drink as we had taken this photo it was ‘company policy’.

Only went up for drinks- to be honest I don’t even recall if they had food. Drinks were great but how could they not be with the view which is unbelievable! We were lucky and stopped there on a weekday afternoon and got a table right away, but think we were lucky. Expect to wait if you really want to go here.

We went here for my friend’s birthday and we brought a cake with us (asked before if this was possible and they said yes for a fee of 3 euros - which is only fair). The staff was so nice and patient regarding pictures and everything :) They even brought us champagne and bday candles on the house.. very cute (aperol and bruschetta are good) Thank you!!

We made a reservation looong time before the date, to enjoy drinks with this amazing view (it was my father birthday, so we wanted to surprise him with something special). We arrived and they gave us the table… on the side of the roof, without the view on the cathedral, which was the whole point of why we made the reservation. The staff was unhelpful. The drinks are expensive and student party level. I have a ridddle for you - what is the cocktail on the picture (I got it in that form)? I would never guess myself. It’s a 14 euro pornstar martini 😆

We visited without a reservation, waited for the employee to guide us. Everyone who came after us had already placed an order and had a drink. We made them wait without placing an order. In the end, I waited for 40 minutes and came out. Then, she asked me to erase all the photos, so I did. I told her I couldn't place an order and another tables already had drinks, but she pretended not to know who did. Visitors to the table next to us are witnesses.

Unique restaurant with interesting flavors. It was very hard to get a waiter to get a table both inside and outside. Once we snagged a seat inside, it took forever to order. Also, the door would not close, so cold air was constantly blowing on us. The finger sandwiches were delicious and flavors we wouldn't be able to try elsewhere. Wine was good as well. Probably wouldn't recommend unless they were less busy.

This bar has a nice vibe and they were very friendly to us. The price is quite reasonable! Quite difficult to find something similar, specially in a big city like this. Big variety of gins and whiskeys (for who likes it). Although the gins were served all the same, even different types. Still, very good.

One of the best bars I've been to ever - and it's always been my goal to hunt down the best place for dancing in each city we visit. Music was on point, drinks were delicious and reasonably priced, and our bartender Moses was just the nicest bartender we've ever had the pleasure to meet. He was so helpful and cheerful and even gave us a bunch of recs for our trip to Rome. Thanks for such a lovely night!

Be careful if you are a tourist ! We went to buy a drink in the bar and they asked us to pay 12€!! for 1 gin tonic. I don’t even mention that there was nothing inside- like cucumbers/peppers (for this price heh!) When I asked why gin tonic is more expensive than other cocktails (other cocktails were around 8€), the woman bartender with short hair said in a rude way “Because it’s like that!” I was super shocked. But I was even more shocked when I knew that our local friends bought there the same gin tonic for 5 or 6€ … will never come back there again. An Update after the response of the owner: Unfortunately the gin added to our cocktail was far from being a premium gin. Moreover, when I asked why the gin tonic is more expensive than other cocktails, the bartender could’ve said “because we used the premium gin” instead of saying “because it’s like that”. But no, she couldn’t have said it because she put a basic gin and we saw it . We checked the menu yeah and we saw that the cocktails were 8-9€. Cheers to u too.

A place for special occasions, it fully met our expectations. We tried the sea and land menu’s and the quality and quantity were on point. It’s a pricey place but according to what you get and the location. Waiting times between dishes were correct and with kind service. I would have liked more detail in the dish presentations but it was fine anyway. The tables with views to the Ponte Vecchio are very very romantic, we celebrated our engagement there :)

I found Golden View when doing research for our trip to Florence and immediately made a reservation after seeing the views of the iconic Ponte Vecchio (bridge). It far exceeded expectations! My husband and I enjoyed everything we ordered and our server truly spoiled us with knowledge about Italian wines and some extra apps and dessert. I highly recommend the truffle pasta. We were so impressed and enjoyed our visit so much that we went back for our anniversary two nights later to have some champagne and apps before another dinner reservation. You can't go wrong with a meal at Golden View!

Amazing restaurant. The view and atmosphere is next to nothing in Florence. The food was amazing, from the main course to the dessert. Our waiter Agostino was very attentive and made sure we didn’t miss anything at our table while enjoying the food and live music.

It was worst experience i’ve ever had. After two hours, they was trying to move our away in the middle of meal. While i tried several Michelin 3 starred restaurants, i’ve never heard of that kind of rule. Also, when i gave a feedback that i’d had bad experience tonight, she just turned around, took my table napkin, and hurled it harsh against the wall! Her attitude was not acceptable! You would be deserved better even in a causal restaurant. If you are asians or tourists not speaking italian, please avoid this place. Food is not that great either!

We were looking for a very special occasion on the final night of our holiday, and that is precisely what we got. We were looked after beautifully by Marges and his team. The food and the service were superb, the view was truly golden, just like our experience. If you're looking for something very special, this is the place for you.

Every once in a while you have to splurge on dinner when traveling with your family. A white table cloth, a view, and wait staff can really change the vibe. Here the food, service and extras are all worth the spend. The waiter we had was incredibly personable and helpful with a gluten sensitivity, the food was excellent. Fresh hot gluten free french bread, amazing apps, primi, and secondi, not to mention desserts. I would go back... If you are looking for American sized portions, don't come here. Go get a pizza.

We had a great evening at B-Roof. The service was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. The food menu is on the smaller side, but everything is thoughtfully chosen. We ordered the salami board and it was absolutely delicious, high-quality ingredients, beautifully presented. The atmosphere is elegant and stylish without being pretentious. It has a luxurious feel, but it's relaxed and welcoming at the same time, perfect for a special evening that still feels comfortable. The real highlight, though, is the view. We had a 7:30 PM reservation and were seated at a table facing the Duomo. Watching the sunset from up there was unforgettable. Florence glows in golden light as the sun goes down, and as night falls, the city lights up beautifully. For the experience it offers, great service, quality food, and an unbeatable view, t’s surprisingly well-priced. Definitely worth it. Highly recommended. Just make sure to book in advance if you want that sunset view!

B-Roof is such a great place for occasions. The ambience and interior are so posh. Food prices are decent, I tried the scallops and lamb meat and it was tasty. Recommended for visitors who take lamb meat. Staffs are friendly even for such a posh setting restaurant compared to others. Truly made the whole experience a wonderful one.

Had an early dinner here last September. The crostini misti was amazing — definitely my favorite part of the meal! The steak was okay but not really worth the price. The place itself is cozy with great service and a beautiful view over Florence. Honestly, if it wasn’t for Assassin’s Creed, we probably wouldn’t have visited, but I’m glad we did! Just wish the crostini misti came in bigger portions.

We first sat for drinks outside. The view area was closed but small terrace was open. Service was slow I think for the low season. But dinner was the game changer. Loved everything we ate. Good service. Nice vibe.

overpriced, hard to get a hold of server, unclear menu options, pricing not listed. paid €14 for a side of fries and a water. Edit: based on recent response, i had roasted potatoes with rosemary on it is a new kind of gaslighting. and since the customer service person claimed i was at a different restaurant here’s the only photo i took that day. it’s Le Murate. I was not given nor did i order a coffee. i had a water and roasted potatoes. the waitress told me nothing on the menu was being served because it was lunch. Doubling down is a wild response. and if you read your other reviews you would see your pricing is not average.

Food was excellent, such a shame that the service was poor and the staff was quite rude. Apparently if you’re a tourist you’re not welcome, they treat different locals from tourists. We wanted to have a local experience, have a live music show eat and drink therefore we got our drinks in plastic cups when everyone was getting their drinks in a proper glass, didn’t allowed us to enjoy the live music event and charge us 30€ for a poor experience. I love Italy, when I come I try to immerse myself in the culture. I was so disappointed, I chose to come here wanting to have something youthful and fun por aperitivo and it turned into a not nice experience.

Fun place to watch a soccer game. Outdoor seating. Big projection screen up front. Option of buffet with a drink or pizza a la carte. There was a long line because there was only one bartender. The food was so so for the small buffet but it's only 15€ with a drink.people seemed happy with their pizza choices

Whether to just have a drink in the large courtyard or attending a performance, or just checking out the redevelopment work of the old city, it is a great example of urban renewal and fun place to be after visiting 300 churches in town.

Le Murate was a convent, turned prison, turned hipster hub – is one of the most culturally rich sites in Florence. The piazza where previously nuns prayed, today is used by high school students as a place to study. Also here you can meet friends for coffee or a glass of wine; enjoy live jazz, rock or classical music; view art, sculpture or photography exhibitions. There are seminars, workshops and the monthly Human Rights Tuesday Night meetings for public as part of education programs. The renovation of Le Murate is just one example of how architecture is used to help define negotiate its relationship with its past.

A fabulous little brew pub serving an excellent range of craft beers. Staff were knowledgeable about the hops, and navigated our diabolically bad Italian with aplomb. We enjoyed it so much our pre-dinner drink was joined by an after-dinner dessert beer, as it just happened to be on our route home. For all beer-o-philes and lovers of craft beer, don't miss this one.

Archea delivers that feeling in spades, not least due to its friendly and very beer-nerdy bartenders. A gem of a bar/brewery, with mostly local/Italian craft beers. This is was a great little brewery right next door to our airBnB. We popped in at the end of each day for a cool brewski and a round of cards on the patio! All the bartenders were super friendly! Great vibe great beer! (Really great if you like IPAs)

Visited at 6:30 PM. While they do not offer a traditional aperitivo, I confirmed with the gentleman at the front that they serve €4.50 economico drinks and 1.50€ crostini. The crostini come in a wide variety of bite-sized options—perfect if you want to create your own DIY-style aperitif experience. Ordering is simple: place your order at the front counter, grab your crostini, and a waiter will bring your drinks to the table. There’s additional seating in the back, where the open doors to the street allow for a lovely breeze and relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely loved this little bar. It was right down the street from our airbnb and we went there almost every night of our trip for Aperitivo. I had the Hugo Spritz every time and my brother the Campari. The small bites were to-die-for. One evening we weren’t super hungry so we just went here for dinner. In you’re staying in Santo Spirito you must go here!

September 1,2025 .My partner and I went there to kill some time before dinner and get an aperitivo. We both ordered Aperol spritz. This was the worse Aperol I have ever had ( I am italian)!!!!!! It was literally made of a bit of Aperol and just water and ice. Tasteless! . As you can see from the picture and the colour of the drink, it looks very watery. Very bad experience with Aperol spritz here! I told the bartender ( the tall guy with dark beard/hair) and he did not do anything . I had to CLEARLY ask him to add more Aperol in my drink and he also gave me attitude!! Please do not go there ! Not sure how this place got 4,7 review!!!

Old stove is THE BAR to be at in Florence. Great food and an even better vibe. The music is always a 10/10 and the wait staff are incredible. Always creating such a fun and personal environment. Guaranteed if you go more than once they will remember your face. My friends and I always either start or end our nights here, and Old Stove never fails to put me in a good mood. The outdoor seating is a phenomenal choice especially in the warmer months and the indoor seating is nothing short of spectacular. I especially love the women’s only bathroom that cuts back on line time even during the busiest of hours. I will definitely miss this place when I go back to the US.

The F&B is good (not great), but the reason to visit is the vibe of the place. It is set up in a nice park, with very chilled out vibe (music, seating, etc). The service is nice and courteous. I went twice in 2 days, and had a great time on both occasions.

Cozy place with a great atmosphere… really charming! Good drinks and a nice wine list. The food looked great — though we didn’t eat there this time, so that’s still on our list. It was a bit hard to get the staff’s attention at times, even though it wasn’t super busy — but they were friendly overall, and it was a good experience. We booked here as a first stop, first day nearby our accommodation but there is plenty of space to just rock up. Be warned, it is shut for a little while in August for holidays so glad we caught it when it was open! A little oasis in a park let off the slightly hustlely bustlely streets of the Oltrarno district. Warm welcome and calm atmosphere where you can just sit for a drink if you like. I had a delicious caesar salad, do ask for more dressing if you order as it was slightly on the dry side, and our daughter loved her fresh tomato spaghetti and husband had a substantial club sandwich. Wine was delicious and well recommended. Do stop by Santarosa as its a lovely hidden gem in this area.

The gist: this was top 3 best brunches we’ve had in Florence. My husband got the cheese omelet with mushrooms and potatoes while I (skeptically) got the (€17) club sandwich. Boy o boy was that one GOOD sandwich. It was deliciously slathered in mayo (maybe it was hollandaise?) and the FRIES omg so yum! Slightly crisp on the edges and oh so soft and potato-y on the inside! Not to mention it was quite the generous portion! (Peep the photo for the amount of delicious crisp bacon 🤤) The omelet was also yum as were the potatoes (safe to say they know their ‘taters!) and I wasn’t expecting the mushrooms to also be on the side but it worked! Finally, the Bloody Mary was very good by Italian standards. I asked for it spicier with a salt rim and I even ordered a second (it was a decadent brunch 😅) Oh wait!! We had gotten the Santa Rosina salad to share (cus, veggies) and we were almost too full to eat it but we powered through (LOL) with that second Bloody Mary and my husband’s second glass of orange wine. It, too, was decidedly good! We’ve been here many times over the years and it is continuously improving/evolving. We’ve always enjoyed the food, the wine, and the varied atmospheres. There is the proper restaurant (indoor and out), the more casual bar, and the super chill outside area with cool sitting areas. PS: idk why the video of the whole meal isn’t loading 😭

We had three sandwiches, mozzarella and ham, mozzarella and tomato, and tuna and egg. All were served in a round focaccia bread and highly liked by all of us. The cafe is very cute, with tables inside and outside, in the sun, under the roof, or parasols or trees. The vibe is a relaxed, and not so Italian (but not in any negative sense, just doesn’t feel like your typical Italian bar!) cafe. Service was a bit confusing though, as we ordered our sandwiches, and were then not asked if we wanted to drink anything and nothing was said about the payment and the people behind the bar turned right away to the next customer. I also appreciated their several vegetarian options.

Beautiful Atmosphere, Deeply Disappointing Service We had just arrived in Florence by train, excited to spend the day exploring the city with our family. After stowing our suitcases, we walked into the luxury shopping district and came across Colle Beretto—a restaurant with a beautiful, enclosed outdoor patio that felt like a hidden gem. It had an elegant vibe that reminded me of Soho, and we were excited to sit down for a relaxing lunch. Unfortunately, our experience took a disappointing turn almost immediately. Although we were seated quickly, we did not feel welcome. We were likely the only tourists in the restaurant at the time, and while other tables seated after us were greeted, served drinks, and brought bread, we sat waiting. After repeatedly trying to get the server’s attention, including my husband having to stand up twice, we were still ignored. We understand that service is often slower and more relaxed—but this was intentional. When we finally placed our order, my husband’s main course never arrived. We waited for nearly two hours without acknowledgment, only to find out later it had been sitting in the kitchen the entire time. My daughter’s simple order of fresh fruit was mishandled too—she was told there was no pineapple, yet when I went to pay the bill at the bar, I saw a whole pineapple sitting on the counter next to me. The one redeeming part of the experience was the woman at the register. I don’t know if she was the owner, but she was incredibly gracious. She seemed genuinely concerned that we had such a negative experience. She found my husband’s food in the kitchen, offered to remake it or pack it up, removed it from the bill, and even offered fresh pastries to our children. Her kindness was appreciated, but it came after what had already been an exhausting and uncomfortable lunch. Colle Beretto is clearly an elevated, locals-driven restaurant with a refined menu and stylish setting. The food and cocktails were thoughtfully crafted. But sadly, the way we were treated made it clear that not all guests are welcomed the same. As visitors, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. Fine dining is about more than just food—it’s about the experience. And unfortunately, this was not the dining experience in Florence we were hoping for.

Colle Bereto is the perfect spot for breakfast! They serve the best coffee with an amazing customer service that makes you feel welcome right away. The fresh orange juice and creamy cappuccino were absolutely amazing, and my English omelet left me speechless. A truly delightful experience—I can’t wait to go back!

Fun & Lively. Forget about their overpriced patio "neighbors", this little Irish pub really holds it's own. The surrounding competitors charge twice as much to the unwitting. It's a perfect resting stuff in a nice plaza draft beers and hard cocktails. The food so-so. But the vibe is relaxed casual Irish comfort.

I bumped into this pub and it was a gem! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. It looks pretty small on the outside and it has a small terras but there is plenty of space inside. You can even play pool if you want. I had a Guinness and then when I wanted to order a Harp the waitress came up with the idee of having a Black & Tan first to have a smooth transition to Harp and this was a great idee. It also had been so long since I had a Black & Tan. The next day I went back because I loved the place during my stay in Florence

Irish themed bar in Florence staffed with Italians, obviously. Neat mix of culture. Service was relaxed. Good beer and whiskey selection. NO coffee. This also means no Irish coffee, because of the NO coffee. Some patron struggled connecting the dots here. Outdoor patio is great but choose the shady side wisely.

It’s a huge pub with lots of beers and drinks. The food is mainly snacks or side dishes for the drinks. The sitting area in the back is huge, but somehow doesnt create this cozy environment, which you have normaly in a pub. With the vaults its more like a brewery in germany.

Tenax has a unique vibe with an impressive lineup and lively atmosphere. Great music and energy all night, but it can get too crowded, with long waits at the bar. Overall, a fun experience!

Amazing private party function here back in Feb 2017 with packed out club with wonderful people from all over Europe.Had our own DJ's playing excellent dance music;wonderful club staff;fantastic club atmosphere;reasonable drink prices;good facilities.Best to get here by taxi;however can get here by bus which runs on an hourly basis until 11pm or so and then starts again at around 7am.Amazing night with wonderful people at brilliant nightclub!!

You would think for a big opening night your sound system would be on fleek. Muffled and low quality! The layout is pretty cool, but thats about it. The DJs didn’t seem to read the crowd very well as people were mainly swaying from side to side like dead zombies. Not tourist friendly. Drinks overpriced. Brought 2 drink tickets - $10 each, I ordered a vodka/soda and a red bull and they took both tickets! So red bulls are $10?! Pick up your game Tenax.

I came here as a foreigner (Canadian) as a group of 2 men and 2 women. I found this club to be oddly reminiscent of the bars in my small college town in Canada. Nonetheless, it was still culturally fun to see a club in Florence. I’m actually shocked to hear it be reviewed so positively, and described as a night club or dance club. It’s simply a bar with very loud music. Descriptions online also seem to peg it as something special, but I genuinely did not see that. That being said, the crowd was actually generally quite kind, and the bouncer was able to speak in English well enough to communicate where the washroom was. The music choices were up to par as well. Additionally, while €10 for a drink (cocktail) seemed insane, the bartender was putting at least 3-4oz of liquor in them which made the price actually quite good.

Cool wine bar with an extensive menu of wines from all over! Service was quite helpful when trying to choose what wine to order. Only reason I deducted 1 star was because the price of the platter does not resonate with what is given. 40euro for a board with 4 bruschetta, some veggies in olive oil and some small slices of cheese was quite unreasonable

Would avoid coming here alone. Nice wine bar with good selection of wine. I love natural wine, that’s why I came here, but unfortunately I felt really ignored because I came on my own. I was placed at the corner. No one asked me if I wanted another drink, they were busy with other customers, so they didn’t have time for a single person I guess. The waiter only gave me attention until a guy at the next table noticed that I tried to get their attention many times, so he was very kind to ask for the service on my behalf.

Pet nat + various other natural wines. Very knowledgeable and helpful bartender who helped us pick out two incredible local wines. Highly recommend for drinks. Away from the touristy area on a quiet street. We didn't try and food but the antipasto looked great!

This place is perfection! They have a very decent selection of natural wines by glass, which is not very easy to find in Italy. We’ve tried some of the finest orange wines here! Not only the wine is to die for, but also the vibes, food, atmosphere. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, plus they speak good English and can get into a conversation about flavours and terroirs. They host events, DJ sets, and every Tuesday you’ll get to meet one of the winemakers who’ll guide you through their wines. Good thing I don’t live in Florence, otherwise I’d spend all my time here.

Cool spot with an excellent selection of natural and biodynamic wines from all over. The staff were knowledgeable and very helpful.

Funky wine bar with attitude, along with friendly and helpful staff 🌝 Extensive natural wine selection. I went with an orange wine, and asked for seconds 😋 They also have a menu of simple but yummy dishes to accompany your wine, and the ravioli was delicious. Highly recommend this wine bar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They have a great Italian stout beer! I highly recommend it! The owner is the bartender and he’s very friendly and gives great service with a smile!

The drinks had such a great price! 3 euro shots and i think the Wells were 6 euro? Loved the person behind the bar, he was incredibly nice and we loved the experience.

Very nice bar for my last night in Florence. Lots of rock/american pop references and music, reminded me of hipster Brooklyn, great IPAs even Italian ones. Giuseppe one of the owners was great to talk to and he's from Florence. I'd recommend 100% to stop any night. Speaks some english/spanish and italian

This is a lovely gem in Florence. The owners are charming and make the best Bloody Marys I've had in a very long time. It's a welcoming place where you can have a laugh and a drink.

Amazing atmosphere and friendly service. Fun fact: This place is a UNESCO Heritage Site (it's where Yoko Ono and John Lennon first met)

Nice little craft ale place. Didn’t try food only beer. Good range on draught and bottle or can. Relatively a bit cheaper than other bars in Firenze. Give it a go.

Paolo the bartender was wo welcoming right when we walked in the door. Was a small warm environment. Paolo was so knowledgeable on drinks and fixed us a drink he recommended and was a work of art. Made with real fresh fruit. Paolo is the friendliest man and honest man in Italy.

An old school cocktail bar, the cocktails look nice, the owner is very knowledgeable and the prices are ok. The owner is a love him or hate him kind of guy, but we enjoyed our time there. Be prepared to wait a while for the cocktails. Thank you for the nice evening in Florence!

We took the Florian steak which was amazing 😍 and my friend had a burger which wasn't great, a burger in pita bread is not ideal. The service was friendly and nice And we just had a great time in this place

I went during happy hour (6:30-9 I believe) and didn't wait long until I received this beauty of a drink (Mai Tai). It was strong, tasty, and the fruit was fresh. And chips to go with it. Worth it for only 10 euros.

Great place to have amazing drinks! Large choice of cocktails served with fresh and generous fruits. We also had 2 bols of chips. Only 4stars because of the price (9€ during Happy Hour) and lot of delay to get the drink (but also because it’s made with passion).

While this may be considered touristy, my husband and I absolutely loved our extravagantly decorated and fresh cocktails. Full of flavor but not overly sweet- everything you could want in a fruity cocktail!

The cocktails here are amazing!! And if you go during happy hour they're only €8. I love seeing what the cocktail is going to come out looking like. The Bellini is to die for when peaches are in season.

We visited Divina Terrazza Rooftop Bar and really enjoyed the experience. The view over Florence is stunning, especially at sunset you can see the Duomo and the rooftops of the city. The cocktails were well made and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was relaxed and elegant, with good music and attentive staff. Prices are ok, but it’s worth it for the location and the view. We recommend it if you want to enjoy a nice drink with one of the best views in Florence

We enjoyed the views here, it’s a great place to enjoy the sunset and views of Santa Maria del Fiore and of the city from above. We didn’t have food but we were offered some snacks. We had a few cocktails and they were good, a bit expensive, the service was slow at times and it does get full, they had move some tables around to squeeze in some more people, the bar isn’t that big. There’s one corner/side with the perfect view of the duomo where you can get really good photos so if you sit in that spot be prepared to have people standing right in front of you taking photos. We didn’t mind however the space could be a bit bigger.

I was very hesitant after I read the reviews. But I’m glad I still tried this place. Amazing rooftop bar with a stunning view! Small, covered terrace makes it feel private and exclusive. Drinks are excellent, first round €20, and reservation is required. One-hour stay, but totally worth it - highly recommend for a special experience in the city.

Do not listen bad reviews. Atmosphere very calming, service top notch, drinks are excellent. Prices high because of that. Some tips to get the best of this place: book in advance to get there. Choose time half an hour before sunset. Be nice to personnel.

The best view of the Duomo in our opinion. Perfect for Florence city views. Had reservations for a late night cocktail and kept moving them back due to our arrival time and they allowed us in with no problem. The cocktails were all great and the staff helped us with ease. Love this little rooftop!

This is a hidden gem and almost never crowded after sunset (better that time anyway). Views are fantastic and service is even better. We went once and came back two more times to hang out with Jacopo and Mohammed and enjoy the city from on high. Highly recommend and if you go, say hi to Mohammed for us!

Fun Dirty little dive with a dance floor. foosball table (€1 per game) and seats upstairs overlooking drunk dancing and pop dj taking odd requests. Eclectic mix of locals and tourists. Good place to meet new people and have random drunk convos until the early hours, but, like all late night spots, keep your wits about you and your wallet safe. Open until 6am (not much else is open after 1am) Have Fun !

Really weird vibes at the Blob Bar. Security guard / owner is particularly unnerving - especially now having read other reviews with alleged violence.
