Ice cream shop
Gioelia Cremerias is a delicious ice cream shop located in the heart of Parma. The shop offers a variety of sweet treats, including ice creams and frappes, made with the utmost care in its laboratories. Some of my favourites include the cherry with chocolate-cored nut bits gelato and Sicilyiana, with almonds and nuts gelato. The gelato is amazing during the hot weather!
Best gelato on the street. Option to add chocolate into the cone before the gelato goes on top. Bench seating just outside makes it good if you have a big group
Bryan — Google review
really nice creamy gelato! good range of flavours and lovely staff. it’s a good portion because the gelato is so filling, plus you can get extra chocolate in the bottom! also the wafer of the cone is so tasty, don’t know how they made it so delicate! the crema flavour is nice, quite heavy on the citrus and zabaione which i appreciate. the dark chocolate was great, classic, no complaints whatsoever. fulfilled my cravings 100%
Julia J — Google review
Even though we had red very good reviews about it it was just okay. The gelato was okay with international standards but below average for Italy, I give it a 4/10, the crepes were fairly good. The stuff was unwelcoming and sour. I don't recommend it!
Στέφανος Υ — Google review
Very tasty gelato and nice prices ! I recommend trying Rose and Peach taste ! This local is in center of city so is very nice to come and sit here , they have outside places to sit and inside too . Girls who are working are very polite and nice ! 10/10
Google review
We tried many gelato flavours but we can't say that it is on par with some of the other ones on the area. On the other hand the price was really good so we can not complain a lot. I probably wouldn't take gelato from there again.
Stelios S — Google review
I ordered the medium one, it came with 3 flavors; tried their chocolate (very nice strong chocolate flavor), mango (exactly taste like eating mango fruit) and a caramel with nuts scoop, my friend told me that flavor is their authentic flavor. I enjoyed the gelato; Italian gelato is the best in the world.
Judy H — Google review
Delicious, creamy ice cream 👍🏻 We also tried the fresh made crepes with Nutella and liked it
Patrick — Google review
You won’t find English here, but you’ll find some of the best gelato around! They don’t have any cups here, only cones. For some reason a gelato place opened up across the street (and also has English available) but I think Gioelia will be a clear winner.

Ice cream shop
Nestled near the vibrant Piazza Garibaldi, Ciacco Gelato Senzaltro is a must-visit gem for gelato lovers exploring Parma. This charming gelateria prides itself on crafting an array of flavors that are both innovative and mouthwatering, all made from natural ingredients without any artificial additives. While classic favorites like pistachio and dark chocolate remain crowd-pleasers, adventurous souls can delight in unique offerings such as pineapple with rosemary or even red bell pepper gelato!
What a treat of a place to stumble upon. If you find yourself in Parma, do yourself a favor and stop here. First, the location is absolutely lovely. It is a former hat shop (where an old cute man actually made hats), that was turned into the next best thing, an incredible Gelato place. Second, you'll find an amazing mix of flavors. Some traditional (like crema, cioccolato, and such) and some more exotic (like the unreal hibiscus, basil and mint Gelato flavor). Third, the staff is absolutely lovely. They will take care of you. They also clearly love their art. Last, you'll get to admire the furnishings of an almost 100 year old hat shop, while you wait for Gelato. Enjoy the experience, as places like this are few and far between. Ps They won three cones in the "gambero rosso" review of gelato places in Italy. That's the equivalent of a 3 star Michelin restaurant, but gelato version.
Filippo M — Google review
Best ice cream in town, the innovative and extended menu is changing regularly based on raw material availability and season, some are unique creation. Every flavour is exactly transmitted to the ice cream, from the classics to more ambitious tastes like bell pepper or banana and black garlic. The crew is always helpful and they know the products, eager to suggest you the best combination, even if you are a French tourist and refuse to speak English or Italian. The atmosphere inside is nice and the terrace is well located. Just go try
Arnaud M — Google review
By far the best ice cream I've ever had. I'm an ice cream / gelato lover and every where I go I taste at least 2-3 ice cream / gelato shops. In my trip to Italy I tried about 10 different places and this was by far the best. I can't express enough how great it was, it's on a whole different level and you can't really get it until you have tried it!
Στέφανος Υ — Google review
Another gelato place we visited. They have some unique flavors to try on beyond the basic hazelnut, pistachio, chocolate or tiramisu. Love the level of their creaminess
Peter P — Google review
Gelato is my weakness and the more unique the flavours, the better. Not only are they unique, but they're done very well, with top ingredients. We tried Bissap, Notte in oriente e Crema della bretagna and to test the classics, Pistacchio. You can really understand how good a gelateria is from how they do their classic flavours and the Pistacchio is one of the best I've ever tried. I only wish I could have had one more before I left the city!
Elize W — Google review
This is the best ice cream I had in my life. My only regret is that I discovered it the last day of our stay :( I tried the Crema Bretagnia, which was buttery-salty-vanilia- amazing and one with garam masala- I didn’t know that something so savory can taste so good and the last was one with grapefruit and peppers- nice, tart and slightly bitter, if you’re into it :) I’m in love, I have to come back 😍 go there and see it yourself :)
Orsolya F — Google review
The server very kindly translated all the flavours for us! Less dense / lighter than Cremeria Santo Stefano and less sweet. We felt we could eat more of this. Fior di latte - 4 stars Pistachio - 4 stars Lemon and juniper - 3.75 stars So fragrant it tasted like soap to me! Floral gin-like taste with sour lemon. Rum and raisin - 3.75 stars Melon - 3.75 stars Refreshing.
N T — Google review
We popped in briefly for a coffee for my brother, but the pastries looked so tempting that I couldn’t resist trying the tiramisu pastry — and I’m so glad I did. It was phenomenal: light, crispy pastry filled with rich, delicious mascarpone. I’m still thinking about it the next day. My brother really enjoyed his coffee, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. My only regret is not having time to try the gelato — next time for sure!

Central cafe in a side road with outdoor tables as well as the elegant indoor. We stopped for lunch during a quick visit to Parma. We had a plate of zucca tortelli, quite good but too much water in the plate and very few tortelli for the price, a Cavour salad, lettuce and pears and vegetarian crostini, when different vegetables, the water was room temperature on a hot day, and for a place that declares to be a patisserie, the ice cream was factory made, and but very good. Service was good. Bathroom clean but no soap to wash hands. Gets 3 stars.
Bianca M — Google review
Reviewing based on drinks only: just visiting from the States, and Happy they had an IPA. Very difficult to find them in Italy. Group also tried a German beer, bubbly Rose, and a fancy coffee drink. Everything was great. The desserts look tasty. Looks like they have a full bar. Service was great. Also, they hooked it up with a lil snack for the group. Super nice of them!!

Just had lunch here; caprese salad, cesar salad, bread, and a glass of crisp white wine. All delicious! Our lovely waitress was absolutely brilliant. Prices were very good too, especially for such a nice restaurant. We're already planning our next visit.
Ivy M — Google review
Dull food, caprese had no basil. Grilled veg salad mainly lettuce. Slow service. Inattentive service. Nice beer. Reasonable value. Interesting location but overall disappointing.
M W — Google review
We had a quick lunch here during a pit stop in Parma. The space was cute and clean and the service was quick. We ordered a meat board, the tortellini en brodo, parma ham on baguette, gnocchi pomodoro and a a salad. The food came out quickly and was very good. Perfect place to stop for lunch on a day of travel.
Maggie J — Google review
A very nice-looking place with a nonexistent service and below the average food. We've had three breakfast deals, the personnel took the order and brought everything wrong, even forgot to bring parts. The ham and cheese toasts tasted like vacuum-packed ham with standard soft cheese from a plastic box (like viola or hochland). They forgot to bring half the drinks, and brought a chocolate croissant instead of apricot as I ordered. And the place wasn't even crammed with clients. Definitely NOT the place to choose for your breakfast in Parma!

This is a great neghbourhood bar centrally located. The staff were super friendly and the coffee and deserts were top notch. We had apertivo which came with great finger food and the drinks were all fantastic! It's great people watching.

A wonderful patisserie where you can also find local flavors. A place you should definitely visit if you come to Parma. Their coffee is incredible. The service is very good. The waiter was very helpful and polite. He gave us information about the desserts. We loved the glass details.

Very good espresso, the pistachio croissant not that great but the chocolate croissant nioccola con cacao, I think was the best croissant I have ever tried, must come!

We had one of the best breakfasts here during our vacation in Italy! Cozy place, beautiful display case and masterful sweets. I was delighted with the cappuccino, which I rather not drink on a daily basis. I heartily recommend stopping by here and starting the day right!
Piotr Z — Google review
I‘ve NEVER in my life experienced a breakfast place like this. We still talk about the ham-cube & will definitely go back to Parma because of this spot. That thing is not from this planet. For real! 10/10!
Stephanie K — Google review
Fantastic service and everything was of the highest quality. The risino cake was surprisingly amazing, so fluffy and light. The cornetto with pistachio cream was incredible, but best of all was the caffè bombé which is an espresso with a spoonful of zabaione and topped with whipped milk foam.
Nic D — Google review
Overrated place. My wife liked the croissant with pistachio cream, but I found my empty one too sweet. A few days later we gave the place a second try, we took two desserts, but they are clearly not worth the price of 6.5 euros. But I want to mention the girl behind the counter who told us about all the desserts in good English - respect!

During teatime, you can visit the tea room for a break or taste its appetizing finger food. In addition to pastries, this bakery also sells muffins which are extremely popular.

Charming Pastry Experience in Parma Pasticceria Cocchi is a wonderful place to enjoy coffee and pastries in Parma. We had croissants filled with vanilla cream and pistachio, both absolutely delicious. Allt for 9,60€ . The pastry counter and shop window display an impressive variety of cakes and baked goods, creating a truly inviting atmosphere. Biting into the brioche bun was a religious experience - the man knows his baking, & he was exceptionally friendly helping out a couple dumb tourists. Sitting out on the street is like a fashion parade. Going back for the cream-filled almond croissants, which he says are his favorite.

Best gelateria you can find in Italy or abroad. Delicious. Great variety (ice-cream, but also cakes or else) and seasonal flavours. I've lived in two continents and three countries, and no ice cream makers, artisanal or not, are better than this one. Highly suggested, fair price, nice people.

The vegan brioche were incredible and perfection! I got 2. The chocolate chip was better than the sugar, but I'd get both again in a heartbeat. The caffe latte was absolutely wonderful. The various pastries are color coded to easily see which are vegan and which aren't. Just wish it wasn't so busy that I could have had a seat since my hip was bothering me.

Antica Pasticceria Pagani 1856 Parma is a historic pastry shop with an excellent assortment of pastries, wines, and sparkling wines. The owners and staff are professional and polite, offering coffee, cappuccinos, and aperitifs. They also offer Carnival sweets during certain periods. The pastries are exceptional and made in-house. While the coffee quality may vary, some visitors have enjoyed their croissants with pistachio as one of the best ever.
On holiday in Parma? Don't eat a tourist breakfast in your hotel, rather sit at a table (inside or out) in this historic cafe and enjoy good coffee and delicious pastries among the locals. Gualtiero Pagani is the 5th generation of his family to run this 150 year old pasticceria in Parma's historic centre, and his parents are still ther emost days manning the counter. If you like Sicilian crostoli, you'll adore Parma's cannoncino!

Excellent food, tried pistacchio croissant and cannoncino zabaione and both were amazing (best zabaione I've tried ever). Went to the toilet past the kitchen and you could see that everything is handmade there. Recommend!

Nestled just a stone's throw from Parco Ducale, Pasticceria D'Azeglio stands as a beloved institution in the city, renowned for its delightful array of both sweet and savory pastries. This charming spot offers an impressive selection that includes everything from luscious cakes and cream puffs to savory stuffed pastries and sandwiches—perfect for those looking to indulge beyond traditional meals. Visitors rave about the freshly made brioches, which are soft, perfectly filled, and not overly sweet.
I think this is THE best pasticceria in Parma - their croissants are so flavourful, soft, just right. :) I recommend the ones with apricot jam, crema and pistacchio especially! Great ladies there too.

Cream croissants are a must. Just be careful as they're super full and you'll easily end up with some on your shirt. Chill back room and outdoor area.

Horrible place, horrible staff, I took a bottle of water to sit down with my wife because she couldn’t handle the hot sun in our heads and the manager just kicked us out yelling that we couldn’t seat there by just buying one bottle of water, disgusting

(Translated by Google) I am a true Oltrerrentino, this historic place was my point of reference when I returned to the city: a visit to D'Azeglio, or even better "to Ugolotti" was a must, it was a return to my past, to my memories. What happened last week (it is superfluous and perhaps grotesque to stand there and describe the why and the wherefore) was the definitive detachment from the last little piece of cord that tied me to the neighborhood of my childhood. With bitterness I note that perhaps an era is over.... and not just for me.

(Translated by Google) We went to order several pastries to go, and everything went well. The place is well-maintained, and the service is a bit cold, but fast and chatty. The pastries were very reasonably priced (€5.10 for all four, with the pistachio one being a bit more expensive than the others). The quality was good, freshly made (we went on a Sunday around 9 a.m.), and the filling was tasty. The only problem was the sugar on top was excessive. So she stopped for a moment to sit on the bench there in front of the ice cream shop, since it hurt. In the meantime, we were thinking of getting an ice cream, but unfortunately we didn't even have time to go in and ask for the respective ice cream when a gentleman (who I think is the owner, but I'm not sure) told us, in a very rude way, I would say: "Girls, you can't stay there and camp out" shouting. Pasticceria Bombé is a charming pastry shop and cafe located in Parma. It offers a wide variety of delicious pastries, including bite-size options that allow you to sample different flavors. One must-try delicacy is the cannoncino, a mini puffed pastry horn filled with creamy goodness. The location provides a pleasant ambiance, with a spacious terrace perfect for enjoying sunny days.
Pasticceria Bombé is hands-down my favorite spot in Parma. Their cappuccino with soy milk is perfect, and the brioche cioccolato alla nocciola? Pure heaven. I’ve been coming here for three years straight to grab their panettone (the best!), but honestly, I’m here all year round—either soaking up the sun on their terrace or enjoying the cozy vibes inside. The staff? Always super friendly and helpful. Plus, they’ve got unique pastries, even for vegans or anyone needing lactose-free options. The red velvet cake? Light, delicate, and so tasty I had to order it twice. Seriously, don’t miss this place!

(Translated by Google) HIGH prices. Absent education (they don't even reciprocate a simple "good morning"). The barmaid in a suit who poses as a manager in 2 square meters (perhaps she thinks she is in the center of Paris and not in a side street of a working-class neighborhood 4km from the center of Parma) with her non-sympathy overshadows the quality of the products (excellent but not exceptional...). Every time I have entered here I have left regretting having chosen their business. In my small way, I contributed financially to keep them going... but it wasn't even an oasis in the desert! Given that within 200 meters there are several other bars that certainly work with more HUMILITY! Given that their modus operandi is a rule and not a coincidence of a "bad day", I certainly don't recommend it, much less will I go back. Greetings to Miuccia Prada from Montanara! (Original) Prezzi ESAGERATI.

(Translated by Google) I purchased some pastries to take home. Nothing to say about the size, certainly beyond the standard of pastries available in bars. Total disappointment on the filling, completely non-existent. A cream croissant and a pistachio croissant, complete with a curl on the top to suggest a substantial filling, turned out to be totally empty, it's a shame I discovered it at home, I would have given them back at the counter. Price of each croissant, €2 each. The service leaves a lot to be desired, not even a smile, but in Parma it is a recurring behavior of many shopkeepers, which in fact I promptly abandon. Definitely won't be back. Gelateria Caraibi is a popular ice cream parlor in Parma, offering a wide variety of flavors for both ice cream and frozen yogurt. It is renowned for its delicious ice cream cakes that are well-known throughout the region. The gelateria also caters to vegans and those with dietary intolerances, ensuring there's something for everyone. Despite starting out on a quiet street, Gelateria Caraibi has become a thriving spot, constantly innovating and expanding their range of flavors.
I was 6 y.o. when they began. they opened in my otherwise dead street and immediately the volume of traffic increased steadily. they always made a very very good ice cream. Nowadays they also try to explore new tastes and they are still doing very well.

Very good ice cream for my first time here because i really love ice cream. But that first time is the worst. Too many people waiting for their turn. Wasting time is no good. Not for the kid whose with me.

Pasticceria Dolce Amaro is a top choice for an Italian breakfast, offering a seamless process of selecting food, ordering drinks, and paying. The wide range of freshly prepared pastries and treats makes it a favorite spot for many visitors. Despite the language barrier, the helpful and friendly staff ensure a pleasant experience. In addition to delicious pastries, they also offer decently priced coffee and fantastic gelato. This place comes highly recommended for its awesome pastries and friendly service.
This is the best place I have ever visited for an Italian breakfast. Everything is prepared on site and is extreamly fresh. The process of selecting your food, ordering your drink and paying for it is seemless. They have a wide range of pastries and other treats. The staff was very helpfull because I did not speak Italian. The server was friendly and polite. Great place to visit.

Best cakes we ever had! We had one in January, with some raspberry and two last week (La duchessa and a new one, with chocolate, lemon and caramel). All three absolutely amazing! Very good service, competent and helpful staff (they even offered to speak English as we obviously struggled with Italian, but we insisted we need to learn and they gracefully obliged even though I can't imagine being easy for them). So, excellent product, excellent service. All our cakes and small sweets will come from here in the future!

This friendly neighborhood gelateria punches way above its weight. The gelatiere is a sophisticated chef, and his mastery is evident in the vibrant flavours of traditional standards (chocolate, vanilla, pistacchio) as well as the innovations (apricot with rosemary, mojito). The best gelato I’ve had in Italy.

Amazing ice cream, all three flavours I tried were delicious. I chose two and I asked for a recommendation from the person working there for the third one (tea, almond, biscuits and Pergamon),, which was the best! Extremely friendly service too! And to top it all off, the only gelateria in Italy I found in my 10 years living here that has PROPER napkins and not the plasticky ones that all others have 😃

Gelateria La Romana in Parma is a must-visit for its otherworldly gelato, especially the August 2023 special. The house-made products and welcoming staff make every visit a pleasure. Despite being a chain, the ice cream is of high quality with delicious flavors like croccante della nonna and farcito 2. While some may find the service slow at times, the excellent ice cream makes it worth revisiting.

Best gelato we have had so far in Italy and we have had some good gelato. This was far and above the others. I've read some of the negative reviews and they are primarily due to service. The staff didn’t speak much English, but with a bit of pointing and my best Italian, we got there just fine—and they were very kind. Great local vibe, amazing flavour, and definitely a place I’d return to. Highly recommend if you’re after a proper scoop (or two!) of Italian happiness. A very short walk to the Dumo as well 😎

We ordered an ice cream and a granita here, and both tasted great. The granita wasn’t just a typical "slushy" – it was the original Sicilian-style granita with a real, authentic fruit flavor. We tried the meat filled bun that was breaded and deep fried (my personal favorite). The filling was delicious and what's not to like about deep fried bread? The ham and cheese pasties (although I'm sure they don't call them pasties but we had a train to catch and were in too much of a hurry to ask for the proper name) and the tomato and cheese pasties were also very nice. We also had a deep fried spinach bun which held its own, flavor-wise, against its meaty counterparts. The bread was soft and chewy and we were impressed with the generosity of the filing across the board. The staff are friendly and pretty patient. It's close to the train station so if you're looking for something tasty and filling to munch on a long journey, this is the place to go. Oh. And each of those buns was probably in the region of €2.20, which is kind of a steal. We also tried their arancini, again, filled with that meat sauce, and it was great. It might have cost more than the buns, but it was very nice.

A family member of mine wanted a chocolate brioche, and they told us they didn't have any at 9:00 in the morning... I could understand it in the afternoon or at noon, but it's too early not to have something so basic. After choosing and consuming what we found, we wanted to order four chocolate cookies, and they only got plum ones. We asked for macchiatoni, and we received macchiatos in a large cup, and the coffee was poor quality. We're sorry, but we had a really bad experience. (Translated by Google) It can be defined as classic pastry, now snubbed by many, but with quality and simple products. The cream-filled cannoncini are, in my opinion, the best in Parma. The other pastries are very classic, but they're satisfying because they're not the sophisticated and unique ones found in new pastry shops. Would you compare an excellent chocolate cream puff to a tiramisu-flavored cube (which isn't tiramisu, but it is tiramisu)? Or a cannoncini to a passion fruit cube? So often we look for flavor in modern pastry shops when a classic pastry shop would suffice, offering much more satisfaction. Keep up the good work.

Pasticceria Il Paradiso del Dolce is a favorite spot in Parma, known for its delectable brioches, pastries, and cakes. The friendly staff adds to the charm of this place. While it may get a bit busy in the mornings due to its popularity, it's all worth it for their delicious offerings. Additionally, they offer an excellent aperitif-supper at reasonable prices and provide great service.
My favourite place in Parma. The best brioches, fantastic pastries and cakes, very nice lunch options, and on top of all this, very friendly and kind people to serve you. And yes, sometimes it seems chaotic and a little bit slow in the mornings, but why? Because so many people want to have their coffee and brioche here. And they have a very good reason. For me, they are the best. Un vero paradiso del dolce :)

Excellent aperitif-supper (apericena) and wonderful service. We got lots to eat and drink for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it as a way to catch up with a group of friends. The only negative is the location in what seems to be a car park on the outskirts of the city. Most people would have to drive and therefore cannot avail of the tasty aperitifs.

Not bad, but I want more since I’m in Italy. The tiramisu didn’t look tempting, so I went with a cannoli. the filling was fine with it, but the shell was a little hard. I’m guessing that it’s not as fresh as can be. Also, the price is a little high. I’ve had better pastries in the surrounding area nearby for less. I think it’s because they have such a large selection it doesn’t turn over as quickly. In addition, it’s in the main pedestrian way which caters more toward tourists.

I asked for a tub for four people and was rightly offered the 750g one: I choose 4 flavors and the girl at the counter tells me that there is another one. She packs everything up, pays the €17 and goes home. The surprise awaits me when I actually get home: as you can see from the photo, taken as soon as I opened the tub, there is an empty space!! At this point she could have told me that there was another flavor or added a few of the ones I had already chosen… The ice cream is good and the shop assistants are kind but these things make you lose the desire to come back! Impacchetta tutto, pago i €17 e me ne torno a casa. (Translated by Google) I have been going there for over 1 year and have never been treated badly. For me, the pastas are delicious and of high quality. Anyone who claims that you spend so much evidently has no idea how much certain ingredients cost and how long it takes to prepare them, so it would be better to head 50m away and spend 3.50 euros to have a semi-industrial pasta and an espresso coffee made with questionable blends...alternatively Lavazza and Fiesta coffees are always a good option. Furthermore, a little bit of empathy towards those who work hard to offer an excellent quality treat would be appreciated, but instead I have often seen many opinionated people (including families with children who should be kept in their place) who would do polite people a favor by staying at home.

The owner's responses were in monosyllables, almost annoyed, with his back turned and in a low voice (there was only one customer to serve, with a latte). Given the lack of consideration, I left. Moral: it is useless to boast of having exceptional products if human contact is missing. In a commercial business, friendliness and respect are fundamental for me, as well as necessary to build and retain customers. Evidently there is no such need. Too bad, I would have liked to try their products, at least to give an exhaustive review. (Translated by Google) Two weeks ago I ordered a cake (example photo above) the day before collection they sent me a photo of the finished cake (photo below) as you can clearly see the writing is not centered and the letters are all smudged. I later asked if it was possible to fix it as soon as the photo was sent to me without receiving any response, consequently I asked to remove them completely since it is unacceptable for a pastry shop to deliver such a product, especially for an important occasion. I went to the pastry shop to collect it and the staff was not cooperative towards me. They patronized me as if I had no reason to complain. I took up the review made by another customer and saw myself in what he wrote.

(Translated by Google) I bought the birthday cake here for my mother, who eats gluten-free. It presented very well visually whilst clearly being handcrafted. It was a fairly simple cake in terms of recipe, cocoa sponge cake with two layers of cream, one pistachio and one chocolate, covered in cream and decorated with personalized writing. Much to the surprise of all of us who ate it, the cake was delicious, considering it is gluten and lactose free, it is one of the best bought-out cakes we have ever eaten. Balanced in taste, not too sugary and light. A marvel, and the correct price. I ended up here by mistake because I thought I was coming from Al Caruso, well... it was one of the best mistakes of my life :) I'll be back soon for my birthday to do an encore. Torte gelato e semifreddi ottimi.

(Translated by Google) I ordered a small yogurt with two toppings (pistachio cream and cereal) and paid €5. I think it's an exorbitant price for the quantity and quality of what I ate. The yogurt was good, but nothing extraordinary. The pistachio cream was a very strange green, and the flavor didn't really resemble pistachio. I think it's fair to reevaluate the price of this yogurt because €5 is a steal.
