Amazing seafood restaurant in front of the beach of Arcachon. We made a reservation few weeks ago thx to that we got a great table in front row. We had a great oysters from Arcachon, scallops and sushi. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was great by very friendly staff.
Everything was great about this place except that it took a really long time to get the waiter to bring our check when we had finished our meal. Wwe probably would have ordered a coffee as well, if it had bot taken so long for them to come afterwards. But, it was a very busy day, so I can't really fault the server. Overall, great atmosphere and great environment and the food was also fantastic!
The waiting staff were amazing! Patient, nice, friendly, professional - they knew what they were doing and you can expect an enjoyable moment here. The crustaceans were fresh. We had sushi, beef tartare and the duck filet, all were good.
Michelin recommended right next to the beach. I sat down and expected an expensive and simple salad, I soon realized this place is a pearl. The location is superb, the service is excellent and the food is exquisite. We ate here 3 days a row.

The ambience of the garden is charming and very inviting. Unfortunately the food didn't deliver. Childrens menu: chicken nuggets and pommes was not tasty at all. Vegetarian salad was without taste and the meat was hard. Still had a nice evening, but would look further.
Very cute garden, fancy indoors, creative dishes, and the recommended wine was perfect. Price is also very low for the quality you get and the ambiance.

Please consider that some athletic person are also vegan.

Nice location, food ok, but tiny, tiny portion size…. Not much for kids. I’d say not really for families, they were grumpy as we didn’t have wine. Then also no desert due to not wanting to waste more money.
The food seems to be a bit overrated, and lack in flavor. The outdoor table was great though on a sunny day, as it was green and a bit homy, so the ambience was nice. The service was alright.
Vegetarian salad without any taste. Prices for the small portions too high. Package of chips for 7euros. All in all I can’t recommend this place, food wasn’t worth it.

On nice days, you can enjoy their outdoor seating area.
The crepes here are wonderful. The savory crepes alone were a meal in themselves, full of flavor. And, of course, we couldn’t resist the caramel crepe for dessert. A great experience.

We had a delicious dinner in a quiet pedestrian street in the center of Arcachon. This is what we call a real crêperie with buckwheat galettes (savory) and sweet crepes. Staff is super friendly and they have a whole list to choose from along with 3 pre fix menus to save a bit of money! Perfect for couples or families.
Note: reserve as it’s become really popular ;-)
And to my American and British fellow who eat GLUTEN FREE : this is ze place in Arcachon!

Staff is lovely, food is fresh and all sourced from small French businesses. Best "galette bretonne" you can get in Arcachon. And sweet crepes for dessert are also very tasty
Very friendly atmosphere. English menu is also available. Everything we ordered (especially the salty crepes) was really delightful. Service was perfect. Try the local dry cider, it was perfect.

The ice cream shop Maxi Gelati offers delicious gelato in a fair price. The portion is huge, so it's definitely worth trying!

Absolute GARBAGE service (confronted with the manager, no one else was there strangely). Decided to order an ice-cream for me and my wife. (Strawberry for her, chocolate for me). We ordered 2 cups but the manager didn't understand us (my wife was french so she ordered) and told us that we can only get 1 cup of the same flavor...? My wife explained to him that we ordered 2 cups, but the manager refused. He started getting salty over this and started raising his tone, insulting at us because we didn't buy anything, and we left, offended. He didn't even say hello nor bye. I expected better than this, extremely dissapointed. Treat customers better, stubborn manager. Next time, I'm going to a better ice-cream store. What a shame.

I recently tried Dunes Blanches, the signature pastry of Arcachon. The shop presents these pastries in a very unique style, which is certainly part of the local charm. They are essentially soft choux balls generously filled with cream, offered in different flavors. While I appreciate the originality and the popularity of this specialty, for my personal taste they were a bit too creamy. It is definitely worth trying once to experience this local creation, but I wouldn’t consider it a pastry I would return to regularly.

This is the original (and still the best) bakery that made these puff pastries stuffed with vanilla whipped cream. They are named after the biggest sand dunes in France which are 1 hour from Bordeaux in Arcachon, a gorgeous and famous beach town.
Holy moly these are amazing. Taste like little balls of heaven. The cream is subtle, the pastry just so soft with these crunchy bits sprinkled on top. Wish I bought more than 6!

Focused on exactly one thing (Dunes Blanche) and they mastered it perfectly. They have two types (classic and with citrus) and both are excellent! We only bought a pack of six and they were gone in seconds. We should have bought more.

Superb ice cream. Flavor and temperature and consistency is just perfection. We wonder what kind of freezer they have because very rarely do we have ice cream that is just the perfect temperature like this. So glad we finally got to visit. The chocolate is very nice and milky and just perfection. If you like high end chocolate definitely try their dark chocolate luxury flavor from Peru. Strawberry flavor was also really good. One of the best we have had in the area. Waffle cone was also perfect. Always a queue but moves rather fast if you're lucky. No bathrooms. Some seats inside and outside. Please open a branch in Bordeaux!

I went here for my ice cream cone with a buddy because we had read such great things about it on the website's reviews. The ice cream was overly sweet, even if the servers were genuinely pleasant, and theirs was simply too far away from pistachio ice cream, which I don’t like it at all. This disappointed me a little bit. Though I can't remember what my mate had, hers was delicious! We truly believed it would be worthwhile because there were a lot of people in the queues when we were here. Like I said, I'd describe it as mediocre.
Awa who served me is a true sun among the ice-cream, that makes you melt but not the ice. Her colleagues also seem very nice.

I love patisserie's and I try everywhere I go. We have just visited this place and it was a great discovery! Amazing cakes and sandwiches. I tried Croustillant Grué de Cacao, New-Yorkaise and Flan Jean-Jean. Both cakes ingredients are well ballanced and infuses very well. The Flan was amazing too. The textures are also very well made. I think this young confectioner has a great future. We also tried the sandwiches. You can see they made by a confectioner and artist: The attention to details and the layers reminded me of cakes :D.

A high end pâtissier for sure - where making your hot chocolate takes a long time because it's done with real chocolate in the kitchen, not from a machine. But you come here for the excellent pastries. And for the chance to take instagram-worthy pictures of what you eat.

I am not exaggerating when I say I got one of the best sandwiches of my life here. We stopped to grab food before the bus to the dune and we got the vegetarian sandwich: a heavenly combo of goat cheese, walnuts, lettuce, and I think honey? We ate it at the top of the dune and I am still dreaming about the whole experience. Can’t speak about the other offerings but the woman in the shop was really nice and friendly. French food is the best!!!! Super happy!
