It’s a beautiful shop at a great location. The tea was the worse I’ve had at a cafe. It was brewed before and not an individual bag included. It had a strange, chemical taste and smell. The pastries over sweetened but that can be typical nowadays. The service was very average at best. I wouldn’t go back for dessert or beverage though I do love the location.

Whenever in Kalamata, we always make sure we pay a visit to ATHNASIOU PASTRY. Excellent first class pastries, sandwiches , etc at really reasonable prices. We had tried most of their goodies and have found them all of top quality. Excellent service as well.

This cake was amazing! It tasted just like a kourumbethes biscuit but it a light fluffy cake form! It was a bit expensive but the serving size was large. Definitely much cheaper getting the takeaway option!

This is a truly wonderful spot with amazing value for money. During our stay in Kalamata, we came here every evening — and it became our favorite place to relax. The ice cream, small portion desserts, and especially the kadayifi were all incredibly tasty. Honestly, this might be the only place we’ll truly miss from Kalamata. One evening, I accidentally left some desserts on the table and returned a few minutes later. The staff said they had been thrown away — but then one of the waitresses kindly prepared a new box of the same sweets and apologized, saying “It was my mistake, I should have checked more carefully.” I was so surprised and touched by her kindness and professionalism. All the staff were very polite, and the seaside seating area is just lovely. Highly recommended — a must-visit in Kalamata!
