French restaurant
Anna Bistró, established in 2006, offers a delightful fusion of French, Mediterranean, European, and Argentine cuisine in the heart of Mendoza, Argentina. The cozy ambiance and quality service make it a go-to spot for lunch or dinner. The restaurant's romantic garden setting is perfect for sipping Malbec while enjoying dishes from around the globe. Additionally, Anna Bistró provides options for special diets and features a full bar.
It was my second or third time at Anna’s and without a doubt the BEST..! Marcos was excellent serving our table, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and attentive. The food is superb! We ordered a variety of plates from meats to pasta, and then desserts, everything was delicious and for the quality and quantity a very good price. I highly recommend visiting Anna’s Bistro if you want to experience an excellent meal in a fantastic ambiance without the crazy prices of the wineries.

Spectacular steaks in a really beautiful setting! The outside seating area was quite beautiful and relaxing on a nice March evening. Mrs. Tooch got the Anna Ribeye which was really fantastic, and I got the flank steak with blue cheese sauce (maybe a bit too much) which was also very good although I probably preferred the ribeye. The Mrs. also ordered the “sweetbread” appetizer which she quickly learned was not in fact bread, so I ended up eating it all and it was delicious. Nice wine list. Service was a bit slow, although we are starting to think this might be the norm here.

Wow. Que Rico. The abadejo fish was one of the most flavorful fish dishes I’ve ever had. Service was top notch, great ambiance lighting and music. All around 10/10
Joshua C — Google review
Our favourite place so far in Mendoza. Everything from the music (beautiful jazz), food and service was excellent. Also, the vibe is just really great, the walls' decoration and soft lights are just spot on and make it for a magical experience. Thanks Federica for being so friendly and polite.
Laura C — Google review
We’d previously popped in for coffee and tea and loved the romantic evening vibe, so we decided to try breakfast — great value! The service and atmosphere were also on point.

Food is excellent, service was pleasant. Overall a really good spot

Located on a Main Street and beautiful decorated, this is a great place for lunch or dinner. I visited here for dinner on a weekday and it was not too packed. From I stepped in it felt right. I ordered my favorite bottle of wine and some appetizers right away. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive to our table. Both the fish ravioli and Anna rib eye entrees were delicious, and I would recommend. For dessert, I ordered the passion fruit cheesecake and I loved it.
Tiana W — Google review
We visited Monday for lunch and another for breakfast. On the lunch day , the food was good and the service was great. On the breakfast day, the server seemed to have a little bit of an attitude and got a few of our orders wrong. The place is beautiful and has a great atmosphere.

Restaurant
Restaurante Abrasado is one of the 15 restaurants in Mendoza selected by Michelin. Located at Bodega Los Toneles, it stands out for its extensive grilled meat menus with a unique and delicious flavor. The meats undergo a maturation process before being served, adding to their distinct taste. Combined with other dishes on the menu and the exquisite wine produced on-site, it offers a perfect culinary experience.
Had a great meal at Abrasado. Such a lovely place, warm and inviting. Meals were fantastic, 3 of us had filet, the other had fish. Had a fabulous server who spoke excellent english (which was so needed for our non-spanish speaking group). Good wine selections available, as well as options for dietary restrictions (gluten, lactose). And even though we were so full after dinner, we still ordered dessert to share as they all looked so good. Great place for dinner. Prices were very reasonable.
Lynn S — Google review
A stunning Argentine meat and wine pairing that we’ll never forget. The team was fantastic, friendly and informative about the food and wines. The pairings were exceptional. The atmosphere was lovely. This is a must do if you’re in Mendoza.
Chelsea A — Google review
The BEST steak restaurant in Argetina. We had the spicy tomahawk, the carpaccio and the empanadas which where all mouthwatering and excellent quality. Above all Augusto made that experience even more beautiful. He carried us through the night and gave us an introduction to everything we had. We absolutely recommend this restaurant. Today was our 2nd time here and this time Steven was our waiter and again it was an amazing experience. The meat was excellent and the trout was the best I had till now. Highly recommend this place!!!!!!!
Sarah H — Google review
We had an excellent dinner at Restaurant Absrosado, made better by the professional and friendly service from Rodrigo. The setting was lovely, too. Dark and atmospheric with just the right lighting for dining. The wine pairing was spot on, and the empanadas were a great start. The steak was cooked to perfection, easily the best we’ve had in Argentina. A fresh salad and crispy chips rounded out the main course nicely! Dessert was delicious, and the tea, coffee, and chocolates at the end were a thoughtful touch. Overall, this was the top meal of our trip. Great value for the quality, and we’d happily return.
Laura B — Google review
As many others have written, this really is a must-visit if you’re in Mendoza. The grounds are beautiful and the experience is truly special from start to finish. We were served excellently by Augustin, who guided us through the menu and shared many laughs with us, making our experience all the more enjoyable. The bartender also created some aperitif cocktails based on a few prompts we gave, and these were seriously delicious. It was hard not to order everything off the menu, and our highlights were the empanadas, skirt steak and the olive ice cream. But to be clear, every dish was exceptional!
Shadman A — Google review
This place offers a unique modern atmosphere in Mendoza that we really enjoyed with some delicious food! The beef carpaccio was one the best things I have ever tried in my life!

Lovely food & fantastic service. Jesus our servers & Mariel our sommelier were our servers and were both very knowledgable on all the different food & wine we ordered. Incredibly well priced for the quality & flavours of the dishes. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful experience. Started the evening with a glass of sparking wine. We were sat very quickly and the atmosphere was perfect! The waiter and the sommelier were very nice and professional. Food was amazing we had 2 steaks and sides. We ordered a bottle of their best wine at the winery.

If you're looking for a taste of authentic Argentine cuisine with a gourmet twist, Fuente y Fonda is the place to be. Located on Montevideo, this restaurant specializes in serving up generous family-sized Argentine dishes such as milanesas and hearty pasta dishes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, setting the scene for a traditional Mendocino family dinner. The wine list offers a variety of reasonably priced local options to complement your meal.
Wonderful intimate dining experience. We dined early for Argentina (8P), I would recommend make a reservation. Patrons definitely increased between 830-900P. They will confirm dishes are tailored for two but 3-4 is easily possible. Great wine list at amazing prices, also house wine Thanks Marcos and team for a wonderful dinner and experience we will be back!

• 🍽️ FOOD: • Dishes ordered: We had lengua a la vinagreta, meat and ossobuco al malbec empanadas, provolone cheese, and churrascos with roasted vegetables. It was a very beautiful setting. • 🛎️ EXTRAS: • WiFi/Bathrooms: The Wi-Fi was fine, and the bathrooms were gender-neutral with charming antique details. • 💡 FINAL VERDICT • ✔ Strong points: The delicious food with generous portions, the attentive service from Camila, and the charming, unique atmosphere. • ❌ What to improve: Nothing to improve. • 🌟 Secret tip: Don't miss the opportunity to see the beautifully decorated bathrooms!

This is not your average Argentine restaurant. The dishes might or not contain meat. Some are served family style. How about home made pasta with vegetables in cream. We loved it! They serve a wide variety of deserts as well. We sure didn't expect to see bread pudding on the menu. On the plus side all the service staff was female. The dinner was a good value as well for Argentina these days.
Sam M — Google review
Cozy, comfortable dining spaces, especially the covered outdoor patio. The menu offers a good selection of starters and entrees. The papa tortilla Espanola was made fresh and cooked to perfection. Entrees are huge portions. Saw one family of four dine on a single order of Canelonni. Be prepared to share orders with two or more persons. Loved everything about F y F. ,ate there all three days of our stay in Mendoza.

Absolutely incredible Christmas Eve dinner here! We had an insane set menu that was so much food, we ended up taking a ton home! Would definitely come back here even for their regular menu, everything was absolutely delicious! Service and ambiance were fantastic as well, thank you for a memorable holiday!!

We had a lovely meal yesterday. Make sure you are hungry because the portions are huge and comes with complementary dessert. Main course is always for two to share. The place is very atmospheric and the service was great. Even though we don’t speak any Spanish together we worked it out. Great place.

Great food and excellent atmosphere and staff. The idea that everything is to share is great. Everything we had was excellent!! And the staff was extremely kind. There are a lot of locals and everything you get seems to be homemade as they say. Highly recommended probably best food in town!

Argentinian restaurant
El Patio de Jesús María is a traditional parrilla in the city, reminiscent of Mendoza's early famous restaurants. The charming, old-fashioned design adds to its appeal. Here, you can experience an authentic Argentine asado served by exceptionally friendly waiters. The menu offers a complete meal for around $12 per person. It's also recommended as a great place to enjoy perfect Argentinian food and mingle with locals.
Great atmosphere, friendly service (in English). The flank steak was fantastic, good wines, not a tourist trap! Reasonable prices for Argentina, very affordable for US standards. Visited in October 2024, exchange rate was $1-1200 Pesos. Mendoza is 20% cheaper then Buenos Aires.
Mario B — Google review
Amazing meat and amazing value for your money 💰. The restaurant opens at Argentinian time, so don't make plans to arrive before 20h00. Our waitress, Janet, was simply amazing, and we took all her recommendations. Get the chorizo and the Marcella for appetizers and the caprese salad with rugula. For the main dishes we had the rib eye pepper steak, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Mendoza has a bunch of steak restaurants, that are also very expensive... this one has everything you want and more... including desserts 🍨!
Carmen L — Google review
This is a nice place, clearly adored by locals. I very much enjoyed my dinner here. I had an excellent steak and salad. Steaks and salads are gluten-free. Excellent Service.
Jack A — Google review
First things first: we are pescatarians, and dining in Argentina can be tricky since the love for meat and barbecue is everywhere. Even though we usually avoid it, we ended up trying some here… We’re so glad we followed our host’s (and ChatGPT’s) recommendation El Patio de Jesús María was absolutely fantastic. The quality of the meat was excellent, the service was attentive and friendly, and the owner clearly cares deeply about his business, taking the time to chat with guests even when our Spanish is limited. This isn’t a tourist trap, the restaurant was full of locals, and there were no street hawkers trying to pull you in. Special shout-out to our waitress, Janet (hope we got that right!), she made our evening even more memorable and recommended an amazing wine that paired perfectly with our meal. Highly recommend!
Cezar K — Google review
We had an excellent lunch at El Patio de Jesus María. We opted for the set Executive Lunch menu which comprised a delicious empanada and ample portions of entrecôte and ribs, plus fries. The meat was cooked perfectly and to our order. The wine list had remarkably reasonably priced options and the Malbec we chose was excellent. We also shared the flan dessert which was excellent too. Our server Cynthia was amazing and spoke great English. It was a terrific experience all round.
Bruce C — Google review
My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. We both had steak and it was delicious! This was our first time visiting Mendoza. We are from Texas and are still learning Spanish. The staff was very patient and kind. Service was fabulous. We definitely recommend!
Andrew S — Google review
Ifvyou are in Mendoza city and you like meat this is the place. I come to the city at least once a year for work, didn't find a better place yet. This time I order the "eat as much as you can" they a piece of everything they have and if you are able to eat more once they finished you can ask for more. I wasn't able to finish the round. Meat was very good. Great service and nice atmosphere, thumbs up. One small detail you cannot add the tip to the bill, thimbs down. Luckily Celesta had her own terminal and I was able to tip her. Keep doing good meat as you do.

Restaurant
Estancia La Pasión is a renowned winery restaurant in Godoy Cruz, Mendoza, led by culinary pioneer Francis Mallmann. The establishment offers fine dining with a focus on fire-cooked ingredients such as charred goat cheese, slow-cooked lamb, and roasted fruits. Guests can enjoy a nice atmosphere and impeccable service while savoring dishes like Picanha and Solomillo steaks. The attentive waitstaff ensures a pleasant dining experience, offering recommendations and promptly addressing any concerns.
I went here with my parents for my mother’s birthday dinner. We were served by Pablo who gave us all his attention and provided us with amazing service, all throughout the wine choosing process and every other part. I had the mustard and honey glazed pork as a mains and the grilled vegetables as a side. They were both incredible. My parents also loved their dishes. 10/10 restaurant, fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty meal.
David W — Google review
Estancia La Pasión has incredible ratings, and we were eager to see what made it so popular during our first visit to Argentina. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their friendly smiles and attentive service. The setting strikes a perfect balance between relaxed and refined — comfortable enough to unwind, yet elegant enough to feel special. The menu offers a wide variety of options, but the star of the show is definitely the steak. Perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of flavor, it’s everything you hope for in a true Argentinian parrilla experience. Paired with a glass of local wine, it was a meal to remember. Overall, Estancia La Pasión lives up to its reputation — a wonderful combination of great food, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that captures the spirit of Argentina.
Desiree M — Google review
Fantastic restaurant in Mendoza! The service was warm and welcoming, the food absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere perfect for enjoying a relaxed evening. The beef was cooked perfectly, the sides were fresh and flavorful, and the wine list matched beautifully. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely come back!

The beef was incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked! The atmosphere was really nice and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I also loved the panna cotta with dulce de leche; such a great way to finish the meal. Definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful dinner at Estanco La Pasión! The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, complemented by delicious grilled vegetable sides. For dessert, I tried the flan with dulce de leche, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and excellent service
Victoria L — Google review
Beautiful restaurant, had the ribeye there, great flavour and they don't over salt it allowing the meat to shine through. Also had the pavlova which was delightful. Only regret is that I didnt order the larger steak. Javier was real friendly and accommodating despite my minimal spanish.
Benjamin A — Google review
We flew in to Mendoza in the afternoon but so wanted to eat steak and try some local wine that we forgot the jetlag and searched for a great restaurant... and we found it at Estancia La Pasion. The reviews aren't wrong! We had a glorious meal. What a welcome to Argentina! ❤️
Then W — Google review
Despite what the reviews said, we didn't find good-quality meat: the entrecote was partially tender and flavorful, but we wasted about half of it due to the tough parts inside. To be fair, the waiter offered to give us another cut of meat, but that was enough for us. We've had better elsewhere in Argentina. So, for us, it's not a good place to try typical Argentine meat.

Great service and the bread roll may have been my favorite part. Burrata gazpacho was good and my partner enjoyed his steak. I didn't love the seafood linguine but that may have been preference. Nestled in the heart of Mendoza, Estancia La Florencia is a charming parilla that captures the essence of Argentine dining. As you stroll through this unassuming city, you'll find yourself drawn to this local gem, where the aroma of grilled meats fills the air. The menu features delightful offerings like empanadas and asado de tira—thick, succulent ribs that are a must-try for any visitor seeking an authentic culinary experience.
We loved the steak and fried chinchurin. We visited two times when we visited Mendoza. Lived theor pisco sour and excellent service.

Our dinner was fine, my asado de tira was very good with grilled vegetables. The ensalada rusa was ok. Service was ok. He was trying to sell me the dishes more than serving. Wine was good. Good prices. The lactonesa was a good option with the bread.
Felipe W — Google review
No wait time to get seated, ordered parrillada for 2 , meat was great! Mojella and chinchulín were definitely not fresh as they were barely warm and very stiff and dry. At first I was told there was no mojito but then they were able to make it for me, and the issue arises when I was given the bill and I told them that the mojito was just bad, I was still charged for it. Then I asked for change but server took tip out of the money I gave him without my permission, (I did not like that). Not coming back and gave food to the homeless

Wonderful dining experience!!! The 4 of us enjoyed our meal so much and our server, Nahuel, was great!!!! He chose the wine for 3 of us, poured my beer for me, smiled the whole time and took our photo for us!! 10 out of 10, recommend!! Loved it! We made a reservation but not sure if you need to.

Big plates, big meat and big satisfaction. Bring a hearty appetite and devour the platter laid before you. 9/10 - Pork Sausage, oozing juice seeps from the flavoursome pork. They’re kept small and just packed with flavour! 7/10 - Goat Platter - a selection of cuts including some ribs, flank and leg. It’s perfectly fine but if they’re going to cook up goat then they’d need to choose better cuts. Although it was tasty enough, there wasn’t masses of meat on each cut.

The restaurant takes pride in offering a variety of dishes, including fresh pastas with flavorful sauces and well-prepared meats. They also cater to special dietary needs. Guests have raved about the Assagio Francesco, which features a delightful mix of three different pasta and sauce combinations on one plate.

A very pleasant restaurant with a fancy feel to it. The food is tasty and the portions match the price on offer. They definitely go for flavour over style and presentation but that is better than the other way around! There’s a tight menu of Italian classics as well as some experimental dishes that would please the adventurous.

Good Italian food! Fresh pasta — frito di mare, tiramisu and torentes wine at a reasonable price
Hilma J — Google review
We ate here for lunch and it was the most incredible meal we had in Mendoza. We came back for dinner the following day as a result. We recently were in Italy and regularly eat in Italians in London and this was better than anything we have ever had. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Big portion sizes. It is more expensive than some Argentinian restaurants but much cheaper than anything we would pay in London/Ireland or even Italy. A must go to in Mendoza! The cocktail was also excellent.

This charming restaurant offers a delightful array of both regional and international dishes, catering to various dietary preferences while boasting an impressive wine selection. Guests rave about the exceptional quality of the food and the warm hospitality provided by the staff. The ambiance is inviting, making it perfect for any occasion.
Inventive and exquisite food prepared with live and care. We enjoyed a memorable dinner here. Started with a grilled avocado with langoustines and a smoked salmon and watermelon salad. I had a perfectly prepared trout and my son had the rib steak. All very memorable. Warm and kind service.

Truly enjoyed our dinner, wonderful service. We were a little early but it filled up very quickly a few minute after...

We had a excellent dinner here last night . We had the rib eye steak and the mushroom risotto and both were super tasty . The wine selection is great and well priced . The breads and dips offered at the start are the best I have had in Argentina and really set the stage for a great night . Finished our meal with a crème brûlée which again was delicious and beautifully presented. The wait staff were attentive, friendly and professional. The staff also speak English and was great to be Abbie to communicate in a mix of Spanish and English .Our meal came to 80,000 Ars and whilst not cheap ( nowhere in Argentina is) it offered great value for money . Would definitely recommend for a lovely night out .

Exceptional dining experience. Magnolia isn't on the Michelin guide (yet) but it absolutely should be! The burrata starter was deliciously creamy and the peas and berries added a unique twist. And things only got better from there! The grilled trout was prepared precisely to the ordered temperature and was complemented incredibly well by the ginger & apple chutney. Super interesting and one of the most memorable fish dishes I've had in a long time. And then the Pumpkin Gnocchi: decadently divine! Every bite explodes in your mouth with rich flavors. The bar was exceptional as well. Both of their specialty Negronis were fantastic. The Negroni Rosatto was a refreshing twist on the classic. And their Sideral Negroni, with a local Mendoza vermouth, was possibly the best Negroni I've ever had. To top it all off, we tried two desserts and both were exquisite. Their passion fruit creme brulee was delicious. But what truly elevated the evening was the incredible Pear in Malbec! Paying tribute to the region's star wine, the pear is marinated in Malbec and then placed upon a bed of mascarpone cream with pistachios. It is absolutely superb! A must have dessert. Service was attentive and excellent as well. All around an amazing evening.

Restaurant with a lot of potential. Menu is very diverse we ordered a lot of different dishes and every one of them was tasty and good! Cocktails were very tasty wine menu is also excellent. It is something different then we were used to after 2 months of travelling and I really enjoyed it! Only downside was that some products over the night were finished so we had to switch courses and drinks. But overall very great experience! Waiter Ezekiel was amazing he worked really hard and made sure that we had an amazing evening!

Another 10 out of 10. I woke up from a luxurious nap around 8:30 scavenging for some dinner like a wild animal. Magnolia Restó popped up and I quickly made a 9:45 dinner reservation. The restaurant is on a lively, loud street— lots of people outside eating, drinking, music, etc. the interior has very high ceilings with tables and bar seating available, in addition to a loft that I didn’t go to but I assume has additional seating. Let’s discuss the food. I was in Mendoza for WINE not cocktails, and so that’s what I started with: a crisp, neutral glass of rosé. It was delicious. The wine was accompanied by 3 types of bread with a basil butter that I swear was the best butter I’ve ever eaten. 10 out of 10. For food I started with the Pejerrey ceviche (duh) and an intriguing melon gazpacho with burrata. The ceviche easily had the richest most flavorful leche de tigre I’ve ever had (very celery forward, and I *hate* celery). The burrata was so creative, so many flavors coming together and all complimented each other extremely well— black garlic, mushrooms, and some SALTY cured ham chips. The flavors were all there but everything was quite salty so I’ll say 9 out of 10 on the apps. Would 100% order again with a giant glass of water. I wasn’t quite feeling a heavy entree so I opted for the Magret de Pato (duck). Let me just say…. Apart from Sun Wah in Chicago this was the best duck I’ve eaten. So JUICCYYYYY see that video chile. You see the juices running??? 🏃🏾😭 20 of 10 for creativity. The mustard carmelized onions with the tomato marmalade and the tonkatsu sauce??? Are you kidding????? Everything melded together perfectly and I sat there chewing on it and savoring until about 11:20pm. At that point the waiter surprised me with a glass of cab franc from the famous Trapiche bodega in Mendoza. So fruity and so perfect to go with the sweetness of the marmalade and the fattiness of the duck. Whewww. After I gobbled that up I had to get dessert because of course well yes! I had to get the passion fruit crème brûlée which did not disappoint. 10 out of 10. This was the first time I was the final person in the restaurant. All this food for about 45 USD, I was shocked. I’ll definitely be returning. My waiter was Diego. Pay him more!!!!!! Such a sweetheart and so attentive and helpful with wine selections.

Located at Chile 894, Bröd Ciudad is a charming bakery and brunch spot that has been open for three years. Run by chef Sebastian Flores, the café prides itself on using fresh and high-quality ingredients to create simple yet rustic dishes. The menu features a variety of delectable treats such as apple crumbles, sandwiches, custard tarts with fresh berries, pumpkin and carrot rolls, along with refreshing lemonades and juices.
Great breakfast and brunch options in a relaxing garden setting. Food and coffees were great and the service was prompt and efficient. We chose the shared brunch option for 2 which included juice, coffee, eggs, toast, pastries and a large granola bowl.

The pan con palta con huevo poché estaba delicioso. I also ordered the fresh fruit juice, which was super fresh and full of flavor. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality. The WiFi was strong enough for working on our laptops, and the outdoor seating area is beautiful! You’re surrounded by plants and set in a peaceful garden. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, get some work done, or just relax with a coffee and take in the Mendoza vibe. Highly recommend.

Auténtico is a charming restaurant in Mendoza that lives up to its name, offering an authentic and original dining experience. The interior is inviting, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect with subtle music creating a great ambiance. While the menu hints at fusion food, the Bife de Chorizo stands out for its authenticity. The exquisite selection of wines including Chardonnay and Malbec adds to the overall experience.
An absolutely incredible dining experience at Authentico! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The service was amazing—our waitress was fantastic, and we loved the element of surprise when we asked her to choose our starters and mains. Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The wine selection was equally impressive, perfectly complementing our meal. The vegetarian options were outstanding—plentiful, creative, and absolutely delicious. To top it all off, we had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who was warm, personable, and clearly passionate about their craft. This restaurant is a must-visit! Highly recommend!

We came across Auténtico on Wednesday when we arrived in Mendoza. It was late in the afternoon so we were worried that we may not get in with our large group (10 Canadians). We were able to get in and we were completely mind-blown! This is the best restaurant in Argentina!!! Excellent food, fantastic service, and a great selection of cocktails and wine. Chef Gastón Perez is a creative and culinary genius! You must go try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

We made a reservation and was greeted by Diego who seated us and welcomed us with a pairing menu of the house. He expertly made us right at home and we were delighted with the chefs menu. Everything was perfectly prepared with interesting and gave us a good experience of how much incredible talent Mendoza has to offer. Diego ended the meal with his limoncello and fantastic desert we wanted to come right back and experience the whole night again! Thank you for the incredible hospitality!

Absolutely excellent! We went here for our last meal in Mendoza and it was the perfect choice. We had been wine tasting throughout Argentina for some nine days and it was so wonderful coming here for cocktails. They were exceptional. They also had a great wine list but we were a bit burned out on wine. The food was also exceptional. The watermelon sashimi had the texture of fish! We also got the zucchini carpaccio and this crazy tomato and egg thing. Highly recommend all of them. Our mains (rabbit pasta and pastrami) were also stellar. Highly, highly recommend coming here.
Alia M — Google review
This is so close to perfect in terms of lighting, service, bartending, menu selection, and ambience. If I had a top 10 restaurant list, this would definitely be on it. (Shout out to our server Valentina)! Let’s start with the ambience. It is beautifully lit. The lights are a work of art. It’s at once both approachable and elegant feeling. It’s not over-the-top or over- stylized. It’s just understated elegance with a local Argentine flair. From the serveware to the glow of the bar, it’s a beautiful restaurant, but it is not stuffy. Second: the server was interesting and efficient and was not too hovering, but also was there every time that we needed her. I have a hard time when servers try to explain the menu items (like I’ve never been to a restaurant before) And she did not do this at all. And it wasn’t necessary because I knew exactly what I wanted. The second I saw sweetbreads, I was excited! She also was very patient with my mediocre Spanish. Next, the menu is creative without being over-the-top. Sometimes the menu looks excellent and sounds excellent and then just fails to deliver. In this case, the menu looked excellent, sounded excellent and was so flavorful! I had the CONFIT RABBIT ROLL – CHAÑAR SYRUP – HONEY-FERMENTED GARLIC AIOLI – MUSHROOM AND COCOA POWDER. Listen to that description! It sounds complex, and like it could really be great or it could be overwhelming, and it turns out… It was well balanced and excellent! I then had my sweet breads. Wow! And my husband had a rabbit pasta. His was good. But my two dishes were clearly the winners here! Speaking of well balanced… in the states, it’s hard to find a good caprihinia, so we had been living in Argentina for about three weeks and drinking a lot of them. So when I ordered them, the server suggested that the bartender was actually really quite good and that he could make us anything else we wanted instead, and so we ordered other Signature items off the cocktail menu, and he was excellent mixologist. I had him also make some of my Other favorites, and he did an interesting twist on them. And of course… The wine list. Beautiful wine list, inexpensive bottles and moderately priced bottles and more expensive bottles. Everything was… Really rather perfect. One of my favorite experiences in Argentina. If we had stayed longer I would have gone back every night! It was just Such a beautiful combination of locally-sourced food, ambience, excellent service, a great mixologist behind the bar, and I even remember liking the music selection. A great evening!
Lockie H — Google review
Well stocked bar and the mixology skills to properly utilize it. Martini was great! The food was amazing, the vibe was fun, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable with recommendations of what to eat and drink! So many things to say! I’m sure I’ve forgotten some of the details, but all in all - a great experience. We started with 2 small plates: the general tso’s BAO followed by some homemade chorizo on brioche bread….yum! The entree was a braised goat (chivo!). Delicious!! Paula (pronounced POW-lah: manager) and her team stayed on top of everything you’d want and expect from a visit to a restaurant that came highly recommended. Thank you, cavas wine lodge! Autentico had a great vibe, delicious food, and outstanding service - they had it all. Thank you for an outstanding experience!

Carolino Cocina de Estación is a charming restaurant located off the main street, offering a garden and picnic cloth setting. The food is known for its generous portions and value, making it ideal for hearty appetites after long hikes. One of their standout dishes is the Duo Empanadas, filled with minced meat, onions, olives, and spinach served with salsa criolla. While some feel that the restaurant lacks refinement, many praise its excellent food quality and portion sizes.
Very nice restaurant with good food! We made a reservation in advance and would recommend doing that. They do take walk ins. We went at 7:30 and it was pretty empty but started really picking up at 8 with people arriving. Service staff were kind. If you want wine, make sure to mention it to the server because we and some other tables weren’t given a wine list when we sat down. Overall great experience!

A very easy 1-star review from me. I had the 5-corse menu and only the first serving was good. I overpaid through a third party vendor, but that did not factor my final rating. Service was fine, but not of the ordinary. The wine pairing was not impressive.

Everything was really fresh and delicious. The ambience very pretty and the service of the property waiters fantastic. Very good value for money. We will return!
Kelly C — Google review
First, I’d like to clarify the relationship of this hotel to the pool and to the hotel with the unlimited wine because it was confusing when I was poking around on the website. This hotel, Huentala, is in the middle. It has a more elegant vibe to it, very old-world Italian type. The connected hotel to the right is the very modern Sheraton. There is a casino, and that’s where you find the big pool and the spa etc. The hotel to the left, also connected, is the hotel that offers all the free wine. This hotel, Huentala, does not offer free wine. Although this hotel does offer a free breakfast, and you get that at the hotel to the left, the same one that offers the free wine. So this hotel, the Huentala, is old world charm, dim lighting, elegant restaurant, and a boutique feel. You can pay extra to have the all-you-can-drink wine option, right next-door, and by next-door, again, I mean they are all connected. You don’t have to walk outside. It’s like somebody took one giant building and just split it into three different hotel interiors, or, they added buildings and knocked walls down. I’m not quite sure. It’s like three hotels in one. Huentala has old-world elegance, an excellent staff, and beautifully outfitted rooms with really nice linens. I heard somebody complain about the bathroom, because it was a tub, but it’s not just a tub, it’s very modern, it has a very nice shower. It just also happens to have a tub. Our room was a corner unit; we had a balcony; it was beautiful. And yes, people talk about the view, which is essentially, another building, that’s because you’re all connected. Huentala also boasts a separate bar area in addition to the restaurant. It’s right out in the lobby, but the lobby folks can certainly help you with whatever you need if you need a drink. They can see the bar from their desk. It also has a neat little shop, that’s not always open, but you can ask the people in the lobby, again, and they will open it for you. It just seems like a bit step up in elegance, although it is not modern elegance, again, old-world charm. We found it enchanting. I rated it a four out of five, only because the pool that is part of this hotel is not great, and you really have to hike to get to the other pool; you have to go through the building and then up an elevator and an escalator… And I’m a real pool baby. It would’ve been nice if I could’ve been in my towel and just stepped on the elevator and got to a nice pool in our building, but I didn’t feel very comfortable walking through the big Sheraton in a towel or a robe! Especially with the casino and everything going on there, it was just big and bright. Once we arrived at the pool area it was nice and serene, but it’s not like I could just “pop” up to the pool any time I wanted to. It felt a little Far away. Also, adding the All-you-can-drink option for a medium-price upcharge feels a little cheesy. It’s right there, it’s in the sister hotel, and it’s connected. If they had charged 20 bucks or something that would’ve been different, but it was more than that. I don’t think it’s any skin off their back, because, it’s the Huentala, they own the vineyard! Being able to let people who are at this hotel have access to the All-you -can-drink wine for a reasonable fee, such as $20, would be worth it. As it was, we were out most of the day, so we didn’t want to pay a big fee if we just got a couple of glasses of wine from the dispenser. So that also created a four out of five stars instead of a five. It really wouldn’t be a big deal to just let the folks at this hotel have it for a $20 fee. That seems reasonable. I don’t think people would really take advantage of it. Would we be back? Potentially. Or potentially we would try the hotel to the left that does have the all-you-can-drink wine. I didn’t have the opportunity to slip into those rooms. But if we could get our same Huentala room that we got this time, that corner room on the top floor, I would definitely prefer to stay here. It was spacious and we really loved the balcony. Please see all of the photos.

Room at the 6th floor was alright. The bathroom was very old though. A lot of rust and old water marks on everything. I arrived late one night, and my key card didn't work. I went back to the front desk, asked to fix, then had to go up and back again since it didn't work again🤦 Breakfast was fine with ok variety of food. Overall very mediocre, but does the job.

Great, boutique hotel in the heart of Mendoza. The room we got was very nice. Breakfast was pretty good The hotel didn’t have a gym but I was able to use the Sheraton’s next door. The hotel has a great scent (I was told it is somewhat infused). We had been there before and will likely go back if I ever go back to Mendoza!

Perfect location in Mendoza, unbelievable how nice the downtown is. Safe, convenient, anything you need is close.
Stantiva — Google review
The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Very central and you can walk everywhere. The staff is incredibly unfriendly, we suffered specifically during breakfast. Bad coffee, cold water for tea, they were extremely unfriendly even when we wanted to pay to get better food. The hotel is old, the bathroom is terrible - it was so tiny it would get completely wet everywhere. The pillows were terrible and we would have to pay to get better ones - they do have a menu for pillows. The air conditioner was loud. Certainly a bad experience, but the city is gorgeous!
Ticiana S — Google review
The best part of this hotel is the location. It’s centralized and you can walk everywhere. The lobby is beautiful and has a great ambiance. But this is definitely a 3-star hotel if you compare it to other 4-star hotels. The room was clean and a good size, but there were other problems. The shower water took about 10-15 minutes to get hot if it decided to even get hot; the toilet was right up against the tub; the whole room felt outdated; the breakfast was mediocre; the pillows we were given were flat and uncomfortable. You could get better pillows, but you had to pay for them (?!?!). How can you charge for pillows at a 4-star hotel? Overall the hotel staff were friendly but not as accommodating as you would expect from a 4-star hotel. They didn’t even say hello whenever we walked in. It was fine for what it was, but I wouldn’t stay again.

We have spent three nights in this hotel. There were a few hick ups in the beginning, but then Pia (great receptionist) sorted everything out and we got a nice and quiet room. If you're on the hunt for a unique wine experience in Mendoza, look no further than Código Vinario. This charming spot offers an impressive selection of wines from various boutique wineries, allowing you to explore different terroirs without being tied to just one vineyard. The knowledgeable staff, including the friendly Natalia and Diego, are passionate about their offerings and provide insightful recommendations in English. You can enjoy tasting eight distinct wines at a very reasonable price while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of central Mendoza.
We enjoyed a few glasses of wine here while visiting Mendoza. Located in the center of town, this wine shop also offers a select amount of wines by the glass. Prices were very fair, and the staff was phenomenal. Bottle prices there also looked excellent. Don't miss this place if you're looking for wine while in Mendoza.

I had been looking for such a place in Mendoza without luck until I found this place. I wanted to try different wines from different wine yards, not just go to one sole wine yard. They had a great selection of eight wines and the owner explained well the differences in the regions in terms of terroir etc. Really great experience.

Walk-in wine tastings in the day at the back of the shop by the knowledgeable and friendly team - Gisel and Diego. In the evening we joined one of the winemakers tastings which was fun along with trying an excellent range of wine.

AC is a problem , they turn it off all the time, especially mornings was not possible to sleep. outside is 36-39 degrees. After check out, they do not allow to use common areas, so if you have night flight or whatever, you have to leave the hostel at 10:00 am. I had food in the fridge , they didn’t allow to heat it or eat there. The hostel is usually empty. But it is very clean and good equipped.

Fine dining restaurant
Restaurant
Casa Vigil, also known as El Enemigo, is a renowned winery in Mendoza owned by Catena and winemaker Alejandro Vigil. The establishment offers an exceptional experience with detailed property tours and exquisite 7-course wine-paired tasting dinners. Visitors praise the impeccable service provided by knowledgeable staff members such as Alexandra, Sol & Ana. The menu includes options for both meat-eaters and vegans, all of which are described as outstanding.
We did a tour of El Enemigo on April 16/25. What a beautiful place to visit! This winery is a testament to the hard work of Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena. The grounds are beyond beautiful... I kept thinking they should host weddings there... but that would take away from the serenity of the place. So much to see, including heaven and hell. And the wine! We really enjoyed our tastings. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and gracefully answered our many questions. We ended up purchasing several bottles..or cases (?) to bring back to Canada. We really enjoyed our experience there.
Lynn S — Google review
We visited this winery for lunch and wine tasting in March 2025 from the UK. The service, food and wine were all exemplary. They went completely out of their way to support me when I lost my passport, and even contacted the tourist police and liaised with them on my behalf. I cannot thank them enough and am incredibly grateful for their kindness and understanding. I can't wait to return in the future, and only wish I lived nearer! Highly recommend

Visiting Casa Vigil was an amazing experience. The place is beautiful, the food is delicious (and not too expensive for what it is) and the service is exceptional. Gian, Bruno, and the new sommelier (whose name I can't remember right now, sorry!) were super kind, knowledgeable, and just great to hang out with. To anyone visiting Mendoza and looking to drink some wine and have a good time, this is the place.

Outside: -5/10 Inside the restaurant: 15/10 Outside review: We arrived at 11:20am for our 11:30am reservation. We were told to take a seat outside and wine would be served to us while we waited…sounds lovely. However 30 minutes later, no wine, no tour, no communication. 45 minutes later…still nothing. 1 hour later we hunted down the hostess to tell her we had a 3:30pm reservation 45 minutes away and we were now concerned we would be late for it as we didn’t want to rush a Michelin star lunch. She said she would tell the restaurant of our timing needs and sat us at the restaurant with no tour. We still don’t know what happened and why we waited for an hour in the cold… Inside (restaurant) review: Literally the opposite of outside. WOW WOW WOW. The food!! The service!!! Leo is the king. His hospitality is genuinely unmatched. He went above and beyond so many times. I unfortunately missed the Som’s name but he might be my favorite som I’ve encountered in life so far- so knowledgeable, so approachable, soooo good at describing wines visually and verbally. And his energy is muy muy tranquilo in the best way. I’m not a big flesh person in general but the rib was EXQUISITE. Leo also brought us a little side of the pasta which was delectable as well. And the deserts were the icing on the proverbial cake. 10/10 for food, 20/10 for service. One more note against the host — she said she would let the restaurant know we were on a tight timeline (that she made tight, not us 🙄) and she didn’t. We let Leo know and he moved heaven and earth to get us our desserts and check in time to not be too late, but I *know* he would have timed us perfectly if she told him like she said she would. She did him and us a disservice. Also, nothing was ever said about the missed tour or the hour-long wait to be seated, but holy smokes did the restaurant work to turn our experience around. They deserve all of the stars. Now if only they could train the staff outside to be at their level… TLDR: We were there 3.5 hours and they had to RUSH our dessert because the hostess didn’t do her job. For an expensive meal (that was *incredible*), it’s rather inexcusable. I will update this review if they reach out in any way.
Dana B — Google review
Casa Vigil Mendoza felt more like a brand showroom since nothing is actually produced on-site. The visit was poorly organized and the tour was over in a flash. We tasted three wines and were given just two crackers with their olive oil. For 100 USD per person, it did not feel worth it, especially considering I visited other wineries in the area for half the price and enjoyed a much deeper, more engaging experience. Perhaps having lunch there during the tour, even at double the price, would have been a better choice.
Lucas C — Google review
One question: how does this place have a Michelin star??? Absolutely horrendous service and management. It’s a total tourist trap that’s not up to Michelin standards. I never leave reviews but this experience has compelled me to write this. Food wasn’t bad at all but it was way overpriced. We got our wine “pairings” an hour before each course came out. Is it normal to wait an hour between courses? Other tables took precedence over us, water refills were few and far between. The manager didn’t seem to care about making it right, only offered us to come back and try again. It’s one thing to suck but is another thing to suck and not attempt to make it right. Finally, we spoke to someone who was willing to take some accountability and apologize which was much appreciated. My wife and I will never recommend this place to anyone and specifically tell people to avoid it. We should have got a sandwich and bottle of wine from a kiosko instead.
William S — Google review

We had a 3 course tasting with the 3 enemigos wine pairing for $130 each. The appetiser and main were amazing. The dessert was meh at best. I had the carpaccio and rib eye then the cheesecake. There is a sommelier on site to assist with your pairing or questions 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Wonderful lunch and wine pairing at Bodega Lagarde. We truly enjoyed the meal and each wine that accompanied each course. I loved the tomato salad so much the chef packed up an extra one for me! Excellent customer service. After dessert we took our wine outside and strolled the vineyard, tasting the grapes. Phenomenal dining experience!

Fantastic! Could not ask for a better setting and a more luxurious afternoon. The 7 course lunch was outstanding with great flavours and perfect pairings. The service was impeccable and they were very kind to indulge my preference to speak in not so great Spanish [that's is how you get better]. Wine pours were very generous. My partner had a few top ups as well [alas, I was the driver]. My all means, treat yourself to this amazing experience while in Mendoza.

Great Argentinian & Italian restaurant. We made a reservation (valentines weekend) but not sure if necessary during regular days. We had dinner at this location while visiting Mendoza. The service and atmosphere was excellent. And, the prices provided great value. While we enjoyed our asparagus appetizer, the lasagna main dish left us dissatisfied. It was rather bland and didn't have the flavor we expected from this establishment.
Matthew S — Google review
This restaurant is seriously great. We went AGAINST the recommendation of our hotel and came here. It’s obvious this restaurant just wasn’t tipping the local concierge, because this food is seriously great. The best steak we had in our week in Argentina. Who would’ve thought that would be at an Italian restaurant. The carbonara pasta was amazing also. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality. Good wine selection at good prices too. You should absolutely consider this restaurant for dinner if you are visiting Mendoza.

Great Italian food in Mendoza, even though I didn't have anything but salad and panacotta, the smell and the look of the dishes talked for themselves. After a couple of days in Mendoza, my stomach couldn't afford anything else.. Next time, for sure, I will try the most representative Italian dishes of La Marchigiana

Simple but elegant ambiance. Great tasting food and menu offering. Servers had ample knowledge about the plates and offered a professional and relatively quick service. Appetizer and main dish are the forte as dessert was ok, nothing special.

Beautiful Italian food with a home cooked feel. Wonderful wine list and great service . More on the expensive side but worth it. Wear your loose pants :) And apparently according to the photo i found , Gwyneth Paltro and Brad Pitt ate there too.
Ryan M — Google review
The restaurant had a great ambiance and great wine but the food lacked in flavor. Maybe it was over hyped by the amount of reviews. We had the octopus and caprese salad for a starter. The octopus was delicious the caprese was mediocre. The basil was small and withered and the tomatoes weren’t great. For dinner we had the house made pasta trio and a filet with peppercorn sauce. The pasta dish wasn’t good. The steak was good but not great. The service was very great. Really wanted to like it.
Anthony F — Google review
The best restaurant I've found in Mendoza. Place is fancy, and food is not only incredibly tasty, but also plates are big. And when I say big, I mean really big, like having a hard time finishing the plate. I ordered a pasta with a weird name filled with "Goat in Cabernet whine cooked for 16 hours at low temperatures"... 16 hours! I know it is probably a lie, but it was the best wine goat filling I ever ateon my life. Pastas are their specially, but you can order other stuff. Place is not expensive, only slightly higher than a McDonald's. Unless you drink some fancy whine that is... Dessert is awesome, I tried their tiramisu and it was great. Totally recommend this place. Be sure to either go early (12:00) or ask for a reservation. After 13-ish you'll have to wait for a table.

This was the best restaurant in downtown Mendoza! The steaks were awesome. (The large sirloins are very large- big enough for about 3 people). The soup was outstanding and the roasted vegetables were delicious. You definitely need to go here if you are in the area. The waiters were excellent! The price and food were both I was standing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve visited this restaurant twice — first in January 2020 and again yesterday (October 2025) — and it’s just as amazing as I remembered! The menu, meat, and service were all excellent. Our server was very polite and spoke great English, which made everything even smoother. I had the T-bone steak, cooked exactly how I asked — perfectly done. We shared creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, both delicious. My girlfriend had the fish, which was also very good, though a little too salty for her taste — so it’s probably best to ask for no salt and season it yourself. For dessert, we had the flan and crème brûlée, both fantastic finishes to the meal. The decor inside and outside is beautiful — perfect for a date night or a nice catch-up with friends. Highly recommend!

We had such a lovely time at La Lucia. Food was top notch and so was the service. The sommelier also gave me the cork from one of our bottles that had crystalized sugar on it. Thought that was so pretty. I got the 5 course meal with wine parings and everything was paired so well. We for sure plan to return on our next trip!

La Lucia do terrific steak, chunky outside and soft inside. The lamb stew is excellent done. To a large extent it excels Don Julio in terms of steak grills. It is extremely good value for money. A must-go restaurant in Mendoza.

Lovely ambience and good grill - for the quality of the food it’s overpriced. Grilled vegetables tasted like they were left on the grill for a few seconds after being boiled, some were cold. 1 Empanadas for 650 pesos was a bit dry. At least the chorizos were tasty and perfectly grilled... Most other restaurants charge half of the price. The waiters were friendly but they were giggling by the bar looking towards my table talking about my bill 👀 as a tourist I do not recommend but for the decent presentations, it probably works for a date night to impress someone...

Clos de Chacras, bodega y restaurante is a charming winery located in Chacras de Coria, Argentina. This old family-owned winery was re-acquired after being abandoned for 30 years and has been transformed by the younger generation of owners. The winery is nestled in a residential neighborhood and offers high-quality wines in smaller quantities. Visitors can enjoy a lovely visit to this organic winery near Mendoza and explore its history while savoring delicious wines.
This charming little winery offers a stunning setting and an unforgettable dining experience. We enjoyed a beautifully curated four-course menu with perfectly paired wines. The flavors were exquisite, and the portion sizes just right. The wine selection was equally impressive, showcasing both variety and quality. Best of all, the prices were very reasonable for the amazing experience.

We did a wine tasting 4 wines with a small food pairing that was very reasonablely priced. Everyone at the winery was very nice. I recommend coming early so you can walk around the absolutely stunning grounds. We also sighted several beautiful birds. It's truly a great place to visit

Went in March 2024, an absolutely lovely lunch! Highly recommend. It was such a beautiful setting and VERY generous wine pours. Delicious meal. Everything was perfect 🥰

We had a brilliant experience here today. We chose the 4 course tasting menu with matching wines and it was fabulous. Food was great with generous portions, and a nice variety of wines (rose, malbec, cab sav blend, sparking) which accompanied the food perfectly (and were generously topped up), The service staff were exceptional and attended to us in English. A special shout out to Victoria for looking after us. Well done, team!

Cannot recommend this winery and restaurant enough. Victoria, our server, was beyond fantastic. She had passion for the food, wine, place, and was so incredibly nice. The food was some of the best we've had anywhere and the wine was excellent. I implore you to come here!

I had a fantastic experience here. They were able to adapt the menu gluten free and safe for celiacs / sin TACC and confirmed that separate kitchen items were used that have never touched anything with gluten. Apart from this, the six course lunch menu and accompanying wines were absolutely delicious. Really a premium experience! There is a lovely terrace to sit next to the water, beautiful surroundings, and the service was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Bodega Séptima offers a rich culinary experience with stunning surroundings and knowledgeable hosts. Visitors have enjoyed tours of the winery, exquisite wine tastings, and homemade cheese pairings. The property itself is described as vast, rustic, and charming. Guests have been impressed by the friendly staff and the opportunity to learn about the wines in great detail. The vineyard's architecture is noteworthy, resembling a fort, and it also offers fantastic lunch options paired with different wines overlooking the vineyard.
Amazing tour of the winery (bodega) and exquisite tasting of their Obra, Tierra, and Gran Reserva wine's accompanied by homemade cheese. As well as the best and most amazing guide, Haise, let us pour our wine directly from the barrel to try it and provided us with umbrellas for our walk thru the sun and vinard. All and all a stunning experience, would recommend and do again!

SEPTIMA Initial reception  was good, the usual insistence on reservations though the place was 90% empty... blah, blah, let's see if we can squeeze you in. Miracle! They could seat us, please choose any of the 50+ open tables. A GENERAL NOTE ABOUT MENDOZA : The wineries here all demand reservations, you cannot just show up and wonder around the grounds, they will turn you away at the front gate. If you do manage to get let in, the restaurants will not serve you unless you have a reservation. The reservation can be for a tour with limited wine tasting, $50 USD TO $80 USD per person, or for a food and wine pairing, 3 ,5 or 6 course at USD $75 to USD $200 (Catena Zapata). A hundred U$D minimum for a couple just to visit a winery? No Thank you. How many wineries would you like to visit in Mendoza? Two wineries a day for 4 days? That's well over $1000 USD. NO! Use the funds for airfare to Napa, California and visit wineries for free, taste wines for $20 to $25, credited towards wine purchase, making the tasting free. Back to Septima: The Lamb sliders and cheese and charcuterie plates took a little while to be delivered.  The Grand Reserve Icon Malbec was ok, good body, big tannins, rather unbalanced, but mostly way TOO COLD. Undrinkably cold. We asked the wine waiter about their normal red wine serving temperature, and he said 14 degrees C, but this glass was at 8 deg C. WHAT? Serving red wines that cold completely alters the flavour profile, mostly rendering it lifeless. The wine guy said their customers wanted a cold beverage, but did not want ice in the glass. Then serve them grape KoolAid, they probably wouldn't notice the difference,  as long as it was served cold. The wine guy did bring out a complimentary glass of their 2nd top wine, cold but not impossibly cold. This wine was drinkable, and actually better balanced than the Icon vino frio. The lamb sliders were pretty good, nothing spectacular, big old buns with a sliver of lamb/goat (they used both descriptors) and caramelized onions. The predominant flavour was the onions, with  occasional hints of lambiness The cheese and charcuterie board was also good,  the salami had full garlic cloves ossified within , a real flavour bomb. Yummy. Stringy prosciutto, a sliver of brie. Two 1/4 pencils of blue cheese, a postage stamp of a lamina of gruyere?. A small but acceptable platter, not worth the price of admission. We ordered a tiramisu, my wife mentioned a deconstructed tiramisu she had recently endured.  The waiter assured her that theirs was not deconstructed but was very good. We waited, and waited.... I was just about to request the bill and leave (but no waiter responded though there were 3 in attendance) when the tiramisu showed up. It looked like babyshytte piled upon dogshytte. My wife ate the top half but balked at the feculent brown goop below. What happened to the lady's fingers, what happened to the espresso? It appears that restaurants are competing to deconstruct their tiramisu to greater and greater degrees. Deconstructed? More like de-stroyed. Overall impression of Septima: Food - 2 stars Wine quality - 5 stars Wine service - 1 star Wine server - 5 stars, friendly, helpful Ambience -  3 stars  , open, cold, barren Service -  1 star ,  waiter's and waitresses too busy chatting together, completely ignoring the customers. Long wait for food, even when the restaurant is nigh upon empty. .

I would not recommend going here if you’re looking for great service. Came to visit with a group of three for a wine tasting experience with out a reservation. At first we were welcomed as you should when you walk into a restaurant. Once they sat us down we waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order and no one came. We ended up leaving as we got up and walked out after passing several servers no one even questioned us leaving to at least see if everything was ok. The host didn’t even acknowledge us leaving saying goodbye or if we had a good experience or why we left so soon. Nothing compares to the service at Trivento or Chandon. Those two I would recommend 10000% super attentative. Avoid this place if your looking for good customer service. Came from USA to a total disappointment .

Horrible experience at lunch, which I of course had a reservation for. Borderline hostile environment for non Spanish speakers. Not a word in English. I spent there 40 minutes sitting in front of 5 lovely empty glasses. Wasn't offered aperitif or at least you know some wine. A restaurant was half full for a Monday lunch. So assuming I could've been sitting here totally ignored until the second coming I left.

While it primarily showcases local Mendoza varieties, you'll also discover unique small brands that add an exciting twist to your tasting experience.
An amazing decoration, friendly services and great food. I would higly recommed this place. Being a solo traveller as well as a wine lover, it usually is difficult to try some good wines as you cannot share the bottle. This restaurant had a great line up by the glass.

I read about this place on TripAdvisor and decided it would be a nice experience to go here. Arrived early in the evening for dinner and had cheese tasting as starter. I really enjoyed the selection of cheeses and was perfect to start off the evening. The main dish was ojo de bife with ensalada. Truly amazing together with 2024 Malbec. Cooked medium rare as I asked and the salad was simple but complimentary. As desert I had a mouse made out of merengue together with dulce de leche. This form is from Peru and I really enjoyed the mouse together with the dulce. The service was really nice and was able to give some recommendations. The atmosphere was impecable with a jazz band playing. They truly made the night feel completed. Gracias Caché Bistro 🙏

Lovely place, lovely people. Absolutely ten star service, food was great. Only gave the food four stars because it feels wrong to give a place a perfect review but actually it was great. The husband was rolling his eyes with joy at the steak. I had yummy squid which was… yummy! And don’t get me started on how good the mashed potato was. And then there’s the wine - having the option to buy it off the shelf or the choice to be guided by the experts. Next time we go we want to take a group and that’s saying something given that we’ll have to come all the way from New Zealand to do it.

A fantastic dinner in Mendoza. The Cafe has a wine shop connected where you can pick your own bottle from hundreds of different selections. The staff is very knowledgeable on the wines and how to pair it with the food. A very homely atmosphere with generous portions, great service and quality beef. The server I has, Kamin (?) was very friendly and helpful and spent time helping me select a wine to pair with dinner.

Amazing dinner at the center of Mendoza. They have a truly intense variety of argentinian wines for all tastes, on display in several of the different rooms. The restaurant ambiance is cozy, with sitting in different areas, from more reserved, to outdoors close to the bar, to tables for groups. The food is very good, fresh and with the highest quality of ingredients. The service is very good, helpful and friendly.

Excellent place for dinner - food was high quality, service friendly despite our language barrier. Recommend the squid and spinach croquettes especially. For wine, they have 8 bottles in a machine which lets you drink by the glass and sample a few different wines. Hadn't seen this anywhere else in Argentina so far. Panna cotta for dessert was top tier.

Some of the best food we've had in Mendoza. Empanadas, sweetbreads, leg of lamb - all superb. Literally 100's of wines at great prices. Jose was a fantastic host. And then another night also amazing with new things on the menu. Frederico the best at taking care of all the details.

Super cute place! Loved the vibe.. the rest could use a little enhancement. The food was mediocre at best, and the service was a bit slow. The wine suggestion was good and the place is cozy inside. The appetizer was delicious, the steak was tough to chew, fries were cold. Decided against a dessert.

Reservations were easy to make, with quick responses from whatsapp. My two waitors - Agustina and Gaspar were excellent ! Agustina speaks English very well & Gaspar I was able to communicate with great ! They were a pleasure to have at my service! Thank you both so much for making my solo dinner's relaxed & with hospitality

The food was above average. I ordered a medium temp steak - it came out very well done and incredibly chewy. It looked good - just way overcooked. The French fries were the highlight. I was hoping for a great Argentine steak - this wasn’t the place for it. But the service was fantastic - very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere of the restaurant felt local and authentic. It was a solid meal for a reasonable price. We couldn’t figure out parking - maybe there was a charge? Our Spanish is limited but the person at the entry of the parking lot was pushing for money. We gave him a few thousand peso’s and he seemed happy.

If you're in the mood for a fantastic charcuterie and cheese spread, as well as some delicious side dishes, be sure to check out Cava de Cano. They serve wine from Malbec, sparkling water, and ice cream dulce de leche, which makes it the perfect place to enjoy some company. Reservations are recommended through their WhatsApp group, but they do allow guests to bring their own wine.
This was one of the top 5 meals of my entire life. With the reservation we had the room to ourselves with tons of food laid out for each and every one of us. They consistently brought wine to the table. Almost each dish was incredible and you need try everything that is at the table. You will be so full by the end of it all and will enjoy it as one of the best meals ever.

If this is your dining spot of choice, prepare yourself. Not only for a massive feast that is fit for royalty in years past, but for an exclusive experience having you feel truly special. The way it works is you get assigned your own little nook or room depending on the party size. This makes it more of a family dinner setting in the comfort of your home than a restaurant dinning experience. Depending on the size you order, you’ll be led to a table with a variety of fresh and organic ingredients waiting for you to nibble on. You’ll then get an order of a warm dish. Also, there’s wine. The host will gently leave a full bottle for you at the table to do as you please. It’s vino tinto and a table wine, but delicious and matches the meal perfectly. You won’t be rushed at all so please just sit back and relax - plan on spending a good chunk of time here.

Wow....just wow! We rented bikes at Baccus Bikes and they suggested that this restaurant would be a good option for lunch. We arrived without a reservation and were shown to a waiting area. We waited for what seemed to be a while. What I didn't realize is that while we were waiting, they were preparing a specular feast for us! Once they were ready we were shown in to our private room. When we walked in we were blown away by the amazing table that was set for us. It was incredible. So many delectable choices on the table along with nice bottle of wine! Along with the amazing picada spread, you are given the choice of a hot dish (beef stew or empanadas) and a bowl of ice cream for dessert. All of it was delicious. As one reviewer stated, "we arrived hungry and left stuffed and drunk"! What a great experience!

Definitely put this place on your list; it’s a refreshing change from your standard bodega and made for a great start to our Mendoza weekend. Served picada style, cavas DG has food ready in arrival and allows you a private room to hang out with your friends. Great value too!

This place is incredible. The prices are very cheap. The food in the picture was just the starter. Had the meal ended there, it would still be 5 stars. However, a beef empanada, stew, and pasta followed. Each better than the last. If you are busy with wine tastings in the area, take a break here for a long lunch and relax. How I wanted to like this place.. . But this was an absolutely awful experience. We sat down outside and our waitress came to ask for our order, we were not quite ready to order so started with drinks. We asked for a simple bottle of sparkling water. 25 minutes pass and not our waitress nor one staff member stopped by our table to bring our water or take our order. I had a direct view from outside to the inside of the restaurant and I could see our waitress grab food from the kitchen and eat by the bar and converse with other staff members, all the while we were ignored. I made a sign to staff member in their kitchen. That staff member went Immediately to the bar , which looked like she was asking the staff whose table that was. Still, no one rushed out to us. Our waitress came to another table outside and chatted with a table , all while again, we were ignored. Hungry and absolutely disappointed, my partner and I got up and went inside the restaurant. At first, there was no sign of the manager. I spoke to our waitress inside let her know how disappointed and terrible this service once and not once did she apologize. We left, but then decided to talk to the manager on duty. While he was respectful and apologized, and even offered for us to sit down for us to take care of us personally, it was too late. This could have been handled earlier if he or someone in his staff would have come to tend to our table. After a total of 35 minutes, we left, without even a sip of a water. The arrogance of the staff is something to be alarming and make anyone weary of going there. An absolute disappointment of a place that both local and tourists should avoid at a cost. You are in Mendoza, land of amazing food and wine, and incredible people. You'll find better service elsewhere.

BAD SERVICE Food was incredible but overshadowed by the horrendous service. Waiter delivered the food and then vanished, we asked 4 different waiters for the bill to pay and waited 1 hour! In the end having to go inside twice to actually pay, terrible service needs to be better. Tell the manager to hire more staff. Shame because the food was really good.

Amazing experience at Torito in Mendoza! We were warmly welcomed and attentively served by Hugo, who made all the difference. From the start, he was incredibly helpful — recommending the best dishes, guiding us with the wine selection, and even surprising us with a complimentary couvert and vermouth cocktail. The food was excellent — generous portions, beautifully presented. The meat was exceptionally tender and flavorful, with great sides. The ambiance was cozy and friendly, with music at the perfect volume. Highly recommended when you’re in Mendoza — and special thanks to Hugo for his outstanding service and hospitality!

This was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! The veggies were very good as well in their unique plating style. Bife de Ojo, about 450grams of perfectly cooked steak 😋 I was the only person there at the time, so the service might differ on another visit. As a gringo, I don’t like eating my dinner too late in the evening, so for many restaurants to be closed at 6:45pm on a Wednesday was very odd. Fortunately, Torito was open for business! The bread came out nicely toasted with a mayonnaise dip. The last two steak dinners I’ve had I was served cold bread rolls, I appreciate the little extra effort to serve a customer toasted bread. I was happy to see the steak was cooked to order as I had requested, jugoso! They take credit card, but tips have to be made in cash.

Shared a mixed grill for 2, 1L of beer and a lemonade. Hugo and Arian were our servers and they were really kind to us. We are not a fan of the blood sausage so they allowed us to swap it out for a second chorizo sausage. Interior of the restaurant is cool and if you sit towards the back, you can watch the live fire on the grill and food being prepared. The salsa picante they have available for the meat is delicious, good spice, with a little bit of fruitiness/sweetness.

Besides pictures they do have meat, pasta, salads, kid meals, desserts, wines/beverages, and such. I got a whole platter of different meats for 1 group and it was plenty for 3 people and a provoleta. I haven’t had that much meat in quite a while so I found the meat quite salty towards the end and was just meated out but the meats and provoleta were honestly really good and the portion size for the price matched up nicely. The whole restaurant has this nice vibe to it and the sets are nicely spread out and there are quite a few all around. I had multiple locals tell me to visit this restaurant in my trip and I’d definitely recommend it to others.

The Meat here was terrible and not what i expected from reading the good reviews. I highly do not recommend visiting this restaurant. The prices were very hígh for the poor quality food, hence we left the plates near full.

We went with a large group we met on a tour and had a very nice time. The restaurant is quite big, and they weren’t particularly busy so the had no problem accommodating our table of 12. Of course, service was a little slow considering all our order, but the food was good. We particularly liked the sweetbreads and chinchulines. The steak dishes to share are very big, more than enough for 2 people.
Pamella A — Google review
The customer service of the waiters left a bad image for me. We made lunch in two hours and waited for the bill to pay another two hours. They did not know how to make a hand-printed ticket since there was electricity at that time. The manager and the waiter of the place invited me to fight. Not only with me with other people who were having lunch, there are people in the same situation as me.

The portions are huge. Dishes are well prepared with high quality ingredients. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We had a Provoleta as a starter, the cheese used in this plate was a very good companion for the Malbec wine. We had el asadito as a side dish, I wish it had a seasoning but it was ok with the tastefully grilled pumpkin. We had one Picaña plate, the top sirloin cap was prepared very well, quite soft, juicy and delicious. We shared all with a bottle of Malbec wine as two persons and it was too much for us. Great quality and good prices, we paid 7700pesos for all.

Nestled in the heart of Mendoza, Ceibo Restaurante A Las Brasas is a charming boutique eatery that captures the essence of authentic Argentine cuisine. With its intimate setting and limited seating, this restaurant offers a delightful selection of high-quality meat cuts and traditional dishes like empanadas baked in a clay oven. The standout dish here is undoubtedly the entrana empanada, alongside other local favorites such as picana and pastel de cordero.
My wife and I visited this place for the 2024 New Year party. It was recommended by the concierge at Diplomatic hotel. The food was excellent, especially the steak. Strongly recommended.

Ceibo restaurante is the flower in Mendoza's Italiana Plaza. Inside and outside dining allows a comfortable seat any time of the year with food that allows you slow enjoyment. We enjoyed the homemade Mushroom tortellini with cream sauce with a pear, blue cheese, tosted nut and honey salad, yum! The homemade sourdough rolls were perfect to capture every last drop of sauce. Oh, don't forget the flan for a sweet ending.

Omg! Somehow they took DAMN LONG to take my order. Then the food took 30 mins to give us a simple medium rare steak! And it's not even cheap! I don't even get why a service can be this slow. And you would think after waiting 30 mins my pasta would be cooked? No. My pasta was raw! The heck ! And we were in a hurry thinking a normal place would serve food and take order at normal pace! How would we know it takes 10 mins to take order although we already know the food we want before he gave menu. When I said can you take my order (efficiently), he said wait. So I waited 10 mins to take my order. After ordering I waited 30 mins for food to come! THE HECK! WE FINISHED OUR FOOD IN 5 MINS AND PASTA WAS SO BAD LIKE WORST MEAL OF MY LIFE. Angry! 😡😠

Diplomatic Hotel is a chic luxury hotel located in downtown Mendoza, offering refined rooms and suites with French furnishings and en suite marble bathrooms. The hotel boasts an excellent central location, just a short drive from the airport. Guests can enjoy high-end dining at the on-site restaurant, relax by the outdoor pool, or indulge in pampering treatments at the full-service spa.
I had an outstanding stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment I booked, their customer service stood out—they seamlessly accommodated a last-minute change to my reservation due to a flight issue, making my trip much less stressful. Even though I initially found them through Booking.com, I booked directly through their website, which turned out to be a great decision. The price was better, and I received extra perks that wouldn’t have been available through third-party platforms. The staff was another highlight of my stay—respectful, cordial, and always willing to help without any hassle. They even accommodated my late check-in as a courtesy, with no extra charge, which was a pleasant surprise, especially considering that February is peak season in Mendoza. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a great selection of fresh and high-quality options. Beyond the excellent service and amenities, the location is top-notch. Everything I needed—restaurants, shops, and key attractions—was within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re considering staying here, I strongly recommend booking directly through their website for the best deal and added perks. I would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The rooms are spacious and very clean with comfortable beds. The staff is super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome/offer recommendations. The breakfast buffet was delightful—not the most expansive but had all the staples and a great selection of pastries. There are also great views of the mountains. Highly recommend staying here for a trip to Mendoza.

The public facing areas are quite nice and the location is good. However our room is substandard, with two twin beds(!) And only a thin brown blanket. Our refrigerator was broken, ruining our food. The door handle to the bathroom broke off. The button on the toilet popped off with each flush. I asked to speak to a manager. A manager called on our 3rd night, we received a better room with 2 double beds, comforters, and in good repair. I appreciate the eventual response, however we paid the same as the rest of our group who had much better rooms for their stay.

Excelent Stay, clean Gym and meticulous care in pool maintenance. The only point as started requiers credit card ( no debit card accepted) or a caution of 100 uss per day that seems a lot, mostly with the different wallets available, finally checked the VIEW of the mountains, the west is great even from the first floors. Great election.

Went on a Sunday night for beers and a snack. The beers were mediocre at best, the empanadas were good. First, allow me to apologize for not taking pictures of our food. I had absolutely no idea how amazing it was going to be! Charlie made some of the best drinks I’ve ever seen made. I’m from the United States and am fairly well traveled, but watching him make drinks (not only for us, but for others) was like watching a great artist perform a masterpiece! If you are in Mendoza, I implore you to visit! If you are lucky like we were and can sit at the bar and watch him perform his magic, even better!

Nestled in the heart of Mendoza, Argentina, Pizzaiolo is a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This charming eatery specializes in stone-baked pizzas that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. With an extensive menu featuring vegetarian and gluten-free options, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The inviting atmosphere combined with attentive service creates a welcoming experience that keeps diners coming back for more.
We ate here in late February 2025. Our hostess and server, Martina was very exceptional. She was sweet, kind, fluent in English, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We speak moderate Spanish, but she wanted to speak English. And the food was amazing. We had the vegetarian lasagna (so delicious), and the complete salad (fresh and tasty). The grapefruit and lemon lemonade were delicious as well. When questioned, Martina took the time to explain to us the different customs of eating in Argentina. The waiters are very attentive, but don’t intrude on your time as they view your eating experience as not just for the food or the drink, but as a social time. They will come when you catch their attention or raise your hand and quickly serve you however you ask. But they are not intrusive and don’t make you feel like you need to hurry up and leave so that others can have your space as they do in many restaurants in the United States. And the 10% suggested tip is simply that, a suggestion, and only if you think the service was exceptional. The United States will bring you your check and they give you a suggestion of 18/20/25 or more percent and if you leave 10% they believe it’s an insult. Even when you receive counter service or get it to go! Our experience in Argentina in several other cities and restaurants has been much the same as with Pizzaiolo. Martina made us feel like we were her only customers and also expressed that being able to speak English was her way of enhancing our experience and she took great pride and pleasure in doing so.

Awful. They advertised gluten free options but my gluten free ‘pizza’ was no bigger than my hand and edible, not what I had saw online. My mum had one of the normal pizzas and could not eat it by how bad the dough was , too tough to cut and in other parts doughy. They provided a second pizza for her after saying something but that was not much better. Don’t go here try find somewhere else with gluten free options. Don’t recommend their pizzas at all.
Megan — Google review
Service was very excellent. I came for the gluten-free opportunities. I had pizza, French fries and gf beer. The French fries were great but came with very tiny condiment packets which were difficult to open. Pizza was a okay, a giant glob of cheese on a delicious crust, beer was tasty and cold. I had a sandwich another night and it was good.

This was a good one. We went twice while visiting Mendoza. First time I ordered the Caesar Salad, only issue was it did not come with Caesar dressing, so basically a chicken salad. That was interesting. Next time was the Milanesa, which was amazing! Also, the two empanadas I tried were the best I had in Argentina. All in all a great place. Just don't order the Caesar!
Philip F — Google review
Food is 5 stars but the overall is a 3 stars. The food is great I have been there multiple times and food is always great, my problem is that is very pricey like calamari (Rabas) is 20,000 pesos for a starter plate, for drinks you get the cans that cost 3000 pesos but you need a few and end up costing almost the same or more as the meal. The staff are friendly but forget about you and you wait a long time before they come and see if you need anything and with the cans for drinks you end up needing them around more often, when you want to pay your bill to leave same thing wait until they remember about you.
Bryan H — Google review
The pasta was amazing! The service was great as we had a little mix up on the price, they were happy to get it changed for us. Servers are so great! Love it here!
Kira M — Google review
The pizza here was delicious! Gluten free gem too with options of pizza or empanadas 🙌 Our waitress was super friendly. Often being gluten intolerant you don’t get the starter bread, but they gave me gluten free cracker bread with the most delicious eggplant dip.

Pizzaiol November 2023 Pasta and pizza are a specialty of this restaurant. The restaurant has a great selection of pastas, pizzas, empanadas, salads, alcoholic drinks, and cocktails. The restaurant also has seafood empanadas, which I have never seen anywhere. I went to this restaurant twice, and both times, the service and food were excellent. The restaurant doesn't have menus in English, but they have English-speaking servants who do an excellent job of explaining and translating the menu. As I mentioned before, the service is very fast. Both times it took less than 30 minutes to serve the main course. They have dissent vegetarian options, like pasta, salads, and pizzas. The restaurant has seats inside and outside.

Great food. But I would do some minor changes like less onion in the tiradito and more mushrooms. And the lentil of the ensalada should be cooked as the toasted ones are way to hard and not comfortable to eat. If they were soft would be much better. But the veggie burger was amazing and the capelettis as well! Service and atmosphere were great

We were looking forward to eat at el Mercadito and our experience didn't go as well as we wanted. The empanadas that we got as a starter were really tasty and hot. We also enjoyed the salsa criolla that provided a fresh touch. Our mains, the fish and pork didn't taste as good. The pork dish had an overwhelming amount of soy sauce that was spread through the whole dish making it really intense and not enjoyable. The fish dish was subpart, the vegetable were huge and the seasoning wasn't on point. Making it a very bland choice. The service through the night was ok. We wouldn't come back.

We had lunch here and it was the worst food we’ve had in 4 weeks of being in Argentina sadly. The chicken in the Caesar salad was so dry I couldn’t tell it apart from the croutons & the cheese was dried out as if it had been sat under a hot plate for too long - generally it was a plate of tasteless lettuce with crusty bits. The Milanese was also dry as an old boot and has made my husband sick. I have rated it 2* because the views were lovely and the staff were attentive… would recommend for drinks only at lunchtime.
Rachel W — Google review
Bring sunscreen! Or a hat if you wish to sit outside. No umbrellas. Very few tables are in the shade if you are there for lunch. But still…What a delightful view! And there are plenty of tables inside that still boast the amazing view! Even if I had a little bit of sunscreen, I would’ve enjoyed the glorious view and sat outside. As it was, we had a glorious view inside. This was excellent in many respects! The aforementioned view was wonderful. And my risotto was very good, though the shrimp were a tiny bit overcooked. My husband’s Caesar salad was very good, and he said the dressing was a bit different than most, which is excellent. Some places are too tango, some too creamy, and he said this one struck a good balance. It also looked to be a nice portion. See the photos. We ordered some drinks, and enjoyed our time… Our only challenge in this meal came with the server. First, she was very very sweet. But, as sometimes happens, we were seated, and at the same time, she was working with a big party of at least 20 people. They were delightful. They were a nice family with multi-generations, but, of course, everybody needed a little bit of something, from an extra fork that somebody dropped to another drink, which meant that we were a little bit neglected. It happens. It really does. My husband‘s beautiful specialty Kahlúa coffee drink came out before our waters, and then we waited quite some time for the water and for my glass of champagne, which should’ve been the easiest thing to produce instead of the coffee drink, which seemed to complex and was beautiful! Did I mention it was beautiful? It really was. Look at that photo. My husband was so happy! The other issue is that when the server took my order, my husband wanted something that was not on the menu, totally his fault, because it was a breakfast item. So now, we have this big group ahead of us ordering a lot of things, and we haven’t even put our food order in yet. At least not all of it. Another server came to the table, and my husband put his food order in. Which was great, because I would hate for mine to come out at a separate time than his. And then we caught our server’s eye and told her that we were still waiting for the glass of champagne and the water; she was super apologetic, and brought them right away. I understand the struggle! She had a lot going on. And the larger party should have been her priority, With all respect, I’ve also been the larger party! So I get it. The restaurant did do a wonderful job of sending out a couple of other people to serve us once they saw that she was overwhelmed, but it would’ve been nice if (seeing the large party she had) we had been assigned to a different server from the onset. Still, would I go again? Absolutely. Beautiful view, very good food. What’s not to love? Also, I am not one of those Americanas who does not understand the value of slowing down and taking our time and enjoying the meal, it was less that and more that waiting that long for beverages felt like a bit of a chore. I guess we were especially thirsty for water, and perhaps champagne, but if the food took longer, I would have much less of a complaint than if the drinks and water took longer to come. It’s just so easy to prepare and bring!
Lockie H — Google review
The food was great. We went there around 1130am to have an early lunch. However, they were still serving breakfast. We came back at 1230pm and it was worth it. We ordered the chicken, salmon and the chocolate cake with orange. So delicious! Belen attended to us. And was very helpful in our order. If we were not in a hurry for the winery tour scheduled at 2pm, we could have stayed longer and enjoy the food more. Anyway, thanks El Faro Bistro for a delectable dish in Mendoza. Muchas gracias!

Food was just average, maybe a bit overpriced. But stuff was great and made us feel comfortable. The view is not as good as you may think, also a bit overrated.
Ann A — Google review
This was a great place to see Mendoza from up high! I really enjoyed the view we got as we had dinner. I didn’t have the best experience when it came to my meal. Everything that I ordered came cold from the cappuccino, to the steak with the potato gratin side. Even my red wine was served cold but that may be normal for red wine in this region so that is not affecting my rating. The steak I had was cooked way too long and was so tough that it crumbled when I cut it. Now my husband did not share the same experience as me. His was cooked well and he received his meal warm so I am unsure what happened with mine. Over all the flavours were very nice and I can see the potential was there! If we lived here I would likely give this restaurant another shot.
Sarah M — Google review
The server got our drinks and appetizer and then ignored us for an hour and a half. The restaurant had maybe 3 or 4 tables so they were not busy, the server even looked at us on multiple occasions but never came to take our order or offer refills for our drinks. Venue had a beautiful view but service was absolutely horrible.

Do not expect this dish to look like this . It’s posted on the menu. I ordered that .,1 shrimp , no pink salmon . Old frozen clams and squid . Mostly squid that is tough. I wasn’t expecting great seafood in Mendoza, but this was really sub par . Excellent view. House wine not good . They definitely need more servers . Some many excellent places to eat in Mendoza . Restaurant
Zonda, Cocina de Paisaje is a unique dining experience located at the Largarde winery in Mayor Drummond, Lujan de Cuyo. The restaurant has received both a Michelin star for its high cuisine and a green star for sustainability. It is situated within the century-old winery run by the third generation of the Pescarmona family.
This place blew it out of the park. We did the cooking class + wine paired lunch and it truly exceeded our expectations. You start with a wonderful breakfast and then get a tour of the area and the organic garden - which is such a special touch. The whole property is unbelievable. The food is so well presented and really pushes culinary boundaries. All the pairings worked so well with the dishes. This was our favourite experience on our 3 week trip. I can’t wait to come back!!!

Absolutely stunning experience. The steak was the best ive ever had. The dashi was unreal and the service just great. Our friend and sommelier Johan or Juan was brilliant. So informative. As was our main server. Go here.

I would give it 9 out of 10 for the Zonda Experience. The food was great. The service was exceptional. The tea in the garden was a nice touch. The walk through the vines and explanation was pleasant. The paired (9) wines were all done well except one. Every course in the 11 course lunch was nice. I prefer my duck cooked a little more. Considering the Asian theme to our meal, I think a chinese Peking duck style or crispy smoked tea leaf duck would be a better option to pair with the wine. The welcome breakfast was okay, nothing special. Our only two complaints and i share these so this place as we would like to come back for a different menu /season some day. The coffee with the breakfast was colored water /weak. We upgraded to the zonda experience with the chance for a lesson with their chefs in the kitchen. Essentially we were taught how to make the dough for a tortilla /chapati / puri. For three older experienced folks, this was a pale comparison to my experience at a similar venue in Italy ... agriturusmo tenuta Castel venezze. For now, go for the food, dont bother to upgrade to the Zonda experience, not worth the price difference ... 170k vs 220k ARS each.

Zonda was a really good lunch - they paced it quicker that normal (maybe because we said we had a later reservation, maybe because we are impatient Americans…) - of the lunches we had in the area, I don’t regret it but for volume and speed and cost, I like Animal Organic - and for attention and taste, I liked Renacer. Still - great English, attention to detail, and another great addition to the trip.

Short Summary: 7 course set lunch experience with wine pairing Overall I thought the restaurant had a lot of great things going and had lots of potential but our experience was definitely sub-par for a Michelin star restaurant charging ~200$ USD per person. Wine pairing was overall fantastic with very knowledgeable wine sommeliers Food: very hit or miss, some dishes were fantastic, others were a complete miss. (Salad was wilted and poor quality with a bug found in one of our salads. Generally would expect higher scrutiny and quality from a Michelin star restaurant) Service: service was overall good, they did completely forget to serve the side of bread with the main entree. Thought the wine pairing and wine sommeliers did a particularly great job. Atmosphere: very beautiful setting with large windows and a great view of the on-site vineyard. Would have given 5 stars but there were over 10 house flies flying around near the tables sat near the windows. They were constantly disturbing the dining experience often landing on the wine glasses of all nearby tables. Further explanation of dining experience: The Main entree was a wonderfully cooked steak served with like 7 different plates which was confusing as there were some dishes (fried potatoes) that would be enjoyed hot but by the time you had a bite of your steak and had a drink of your wine pairing the rest of the food was cold. Wished they would have broken up the main entree experience into smaller pieces to reduce the clutter of the table (not helped by the fact that they had all wine glasses from the entire 7 course meal sitting out the entire meal, it created a wine glass wall that made navigating additional plates very awkward). Or they could bring out individual wine glasses with each pairing to reduce table clutter. They also didn't ask how we would like our steak cooked until after the steak was already served which was really odd. We were fine with medium rare and how it was served but if you didn't want it cooked that way I'm not sure how they would have fixed it. Additionally, the home grown salad served with the main steak entree was terribly wilted and unwashed in some parts (there was a small bug in my partner's salad). Service was generally good but they completely forgot to serve the bread with the main steak entree (which was bizarre because they brought out salt, pepper, olive oil and a house made butter for the bread specifically. The bread was also cold and was served from a large basket with a bunch of bread slices thrown in together, would have hoped it was made/cut fresh so the bread wasn't served cold and soggy) They could potentially avoid situations like this if they broke up their main entree. The dessert (lemon sorbet) was a complete miss for us as it was generally uncreative and a little too acidic especially considering it was at the end of a meal with 7 wine pairing. The wine plus the acidic sorbet and the addition of another sorbet served earlier in the meal was just a little too much. Overall, I thought the restaurant had a lot of great things going and had lots of potential but our experience was definitely sub-par for a Michelin star restaurant charging ~200$ USD per person.

This place is so amazing we did the full experience not just once but twice (and we brought our French friends). Literally a beautiful experience connecting land, nature and the craft of growing deliciously healthy food to be eaten and paired with amazing local wines (particularly from their organic varieties planted at the spot). Juan Pablo served us this second time around and boy did he impress. His English was amazing and he surprised us with speaking French to our friends! I love how much he connected with us in general — it made the experience that much better. The food and wine was amazing and everyone had a different favorite. The most impressive thing was how they catered to my lactose intolerance and never left me wanting for more just because I couldn’t have dairy. Bruno, one of the chefs, was kind of enough to teach us how to make a traditional Argentinian food. Maxi showed us the beauty of “his” backyard in the gardens.

We had an incredible time at Zonda. We booked their “experiencia Gilanco” which is a set menu with wine pairing. From the very attentive staff, knowledgeable smellier, to the delicious food, it’s no wonder why they have a Michelin star. We enjoyed every bite and every glass of wine! We appreciated the staff’s service and attention to detail!!
Raquel C — Google review
An absolutely incredible experience. We booked the Zonda Experience and had the most wonderful day. It started out with a breakfast of coffee, kombucha, pastries and fruit, which were all so delicious. We then got a small tour of the vineyard and learned more about the property. In the garden, Max carefully explained all of the crops and their uses in the kitchen. We had a beautiful infusion and learned more about the farm to table philosophy. Back in the restaurant, we made tortitas with one of the chefs who was amazing and very knowledgeable. We then began the tasting menu, each course was absolutely amazing and paired perfectly with each of the wines. The sommelier was eager to tell us about each wine and answer the questions we had. Overall, this experience was very memorable and is something I will look back on as a highlight of our Mendoza trip.

Park Hyatt Mendoza is a high-end hotel located in the heart of historic downtown Mendoza, Argentina. The hotel offers sleek rooms and suites, three restaurants, a spa, and a casino for guests to enjoy. It overlooks Plaza Independencia, providing a perfect vantage point for watching parades from its cafe Las Terrazas de la Plaza while sipping on Malbec and savoring dishes prepared by executive chef Pedro Salas.
THE place to stay in Mendoza. First class service. Excellent location. We are always treated very well here. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Also, Breakfast is first rate. We will be back again soon.
John G — Google review
I recently stayed at the Park Hyatt in Mendoza and, while the location is certainly a highlight—offering convenient access to local restaurants and attractions—the overall experience fell short of expectations, especially for a hotel positioned as five-star. Pros: • Great location, within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and tourist sites. Cons: • The room was not as clean as expected. There were noticeable stains on the carpet, which immediately gave off a worn-down feeling. • The bathroom lacked basic ventilation; no exhaust fan made it stuffy after a shower. • The walk-in shower had poor drainage. Water remained pooled on the floor overnight, and housekeeping had to mop it the next day. • Breakfast was overpriced and underwhelming in both selection and quality. Overall, I would rate this as a three-star experience at best. The amenities and service do not justify the premium pricing, and I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and functionality from a hotel of this caliber.
Joel J — Google review
The staff was so helpful with transportation and storing our items. Breakfast and dinner well managed with great food. Loved the location across from park and near local dining and some shopping. The housekeeping staff best ever...they straightened up every day like a parent.. Sweet!
Valerie R — Google review
Front desk service was terrible. Not friendly at all. We came back from a windy day and missed the spa place by 10 mins. So we couldn’t leverage the spa shower place. Keep in mind we stay here for 3 days and first night we didn’t arrive until midnight. Today, we checked out at 8am and had an entire day excursion. The local weather was bad with crazy winds so we became dirty and dusty. I get policy is policy but 10 mins isn’t much. They were not willing to find a solution and gave attitude. Just didn’t seem like a 5 stars hotel at all. I’m a titanium member at Marriott and will continue being loyal to them. I would not recommend this hotel. Take your money to another hotel.

The hotel is has a fantastic aesthetic from the park side The location is prime time The staff is all really attentive and superb Spa and gym were nice and clean ** the breakfast, after staying at over 15 different Hyatts so far this year, the breakfast was underwhelming & EXTEMELY over priced. It cost a little More than $40usd/ person for breakfast, & is not worth that (not to mention you can get an amazing breakfast for 2 at many local cafes for under $50usd). Options are minimal especially when in comparison to other Hyatts we have stayed at with breakfasts that are less expensive

William Brown is a popular bar and restaurant located in Mendoza, known for its vibrant nightlife scene on Aristides Street. The establishment pays homage to the heroic admiral William Brown, offering a magical ambiance that transports visitors to a different world upon entry. It's renowned for its relaxed atmosphere and great music, providing an ideal setting to enjoy a beer either indoors or outdoors.
Visited for St. Patrick’s Day 🍀 Enjoyed a lot! Nice Irish bar, tasty food and very good beers 🍻 Highly recommend if you are in Mendoza city!

Service was so-so. Good beers. Food order was calamari and Caesar salad. The calamari was soft with a crisp batter although quite expensive for what it was. The Caesar lacked any flavour in the dressing and the chicken tasted reheated. Recommend to add more lemon juice and anchovies to the dressing. Served with overcooked fatty bacon and stale bread. Somewhat disappointed.
Adam J — Google review
My wife and I visited William Brown for lunch, which was our first time here. I had the chicken sandwich with fries and my wife had a cheese burger and fries. We both had a small beer on-tap. We are still learning Spanish Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not pushy…unlike other staff standing on the sidewalk along Aristides Villanueva and in front of their restaurants that target tourists and push tourists to patronize their business. They often do not accept no gracias for an answer. Hate that! Anyway, the food here was good. The chicken sandwich was huge! I took half of it home. We ate inside even though it was a nice afternoon. Eating inside instead of at a table on the sidewalk shields us from panhandlers while we eat. Beautiful place and lots to look at in the restaurant. Good music playing too. Will definitely come again!

A relief in the busy Aristides Villanueva. The waiters are very friendly and attentive, different from most bars that overcrowd in the area. Came here to order food to takeaway. I waited for nearly an hour for them to make it even though I was the only customer there and the place was empty. I finally received my order to takeaway after an extremely long wait for no reason. My burger was undercooked and cold. Fries were cold and undercooked. The chicken in the chicken sandwich wasn’t even chicken it was cold and had a really mushy texture and honestly looked like someone just chewed it into small pieces and spat it back out on the bread. Defiantly do not come here and order their main meals. We also ordered a croissant which was actually ok, I reckon this place is only good for sweet treats and definelty not their main meals. So over priced for what you get. However, when I went back and told them about this they were understanding and gave me a refund

This winery was a wonderful discovery. Our tour of the winery with our host Joanna, was very informative with the highlight being the “sniffing”room. But better than that was the wine tasting and the unique Ice Wine. Our lunch was excellent with very good service. thank you to all the staff.

We went without a reservation on the off chance we could go in and taste some wines. We had a lovely reception by the team, were introduced to the wines, had a brief history of the place, and we were able to taste some wines and drink by the glass whilst walking around part of the beautiful grounds in the finca. We ended up purchasing some of the wonderful wines on offer, and we tasted 4 different wines between the two of us. We loved the warm, friendly and professional reception of the team and the wines are superb. The grounds are beautiful. A great find and really recommend going, even if it is without a tour.

We did get let in through front gate, but that's all she wrote! No reservation, no tour, no tasting, no nothing from the restaurant. Thanks for nothing!!! The lowest cost of entry is a $160 per couple winery tour and limited 2nd tier wine tasting. Want premium wine tasting? That will push the tab over U$D 200. Thank you but no thank you. I can't wait to get back to California where access to the wineries is not blocked and the tastings are free with wine purchase.

HOLY FINCA! I love this place and all praise goes to the incredible views...and the warm wonderful service...and the food. I'm no wine expert with some drunken obsession, but I did enjoy the wine. I don't know that I would rave about the "upgrade" option for the hand-made wine, but again I'm no expert. What I will absolutely rave about though, is the food. My favorite "shining star" was course number 2 featuring hummus and fresh summer veggies. *O FACE*! This one will make a carnivore consider conforming vegan. My second and third favorites were the pallet cleansing sorbet and dessert made from fruit sent directly from the gods themselves. (I just gulped as my mouth watered thinking about this meal...seriously) I say all that to say, this better be on your to-do list for your visit to Mendoza. Thank you! Come again :-) Check out my other reviews for Mendoza. I only review places that I love.
