What a wonderful restaurant! It's above the pub on the edge of the strip. It's a romantic spot with a view of the strip from the outdoor seating area. The interior is beautiful. The staff was amazing, friendly and attentive. Joao and Ricardo were two of the best servers we've ever had. They knew when we needed something and they seemed genuinely happy to have us there. They also gave us tips on what food to try and which beaches we might enjoy. We had the Portuguese steak, stuffed mushrooms, cheese garlic bread and the drunken pear for dessert. Just wonderful!

Visited this steakhouse last weekend and had a bit of a mixed experience. First off, the atmosphere was absolutely top-notch—dim lighting, cozy yet classy decor, and a lively but not overwhelming vibe. Perfect place for a date night or drinks with friends. Speaking of drinks, the cocktail menu was stellar. Creative, well-balanced, and the bartender clearly knows what they're doing. I’d honestly come back just for the drinks alone. Now, onto the reason we came: the steaks. Unfortunately, this is where things fell short. Both mine and my partner’s steaks arrived noticeably cold—not just lukewarm, but like they’d been sitting for a while before hitting the table. Flavor-wise, they had potential, but it was hard to enjoy them with the temperature so off. We did mention it to our server, who was friendly and apologetic, but it definitely put a damper on the meal. Overall, I’d rate the atmosphere and drinks a solid 5 stars. The food? Maybe a 2. If they can get the kitchen timing sorted out, this place could be a real winner.

Came here for my husband's 50th birthday,the staff were great , recommended a beautiful gin,the food was amazing and they provided a desert for my husband's birthday with shots of lemoncello ⭐

Fantastic food, staff, and atmosphere. We went here twice during our week long stay. This was the only restaurant and bar we could find on the strip that didn't have music that was too loud. The live band and DJ were just the perfect mix. Would highly recommend

We had a meal here and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly. The bar is great just a few observations. The lead singer in the band can't sing. He's not pronouncing words properly in some songs and it's a pity because they play some great music. The bar staff are very good and friendly. The drink selection is not great. We tried it 2 nights to make sure we weren't making a mistake about the singer and yes he was crap the second night. Also a few more stools around the bar would help. Not a lot of seating around.

Sports bar on the strip. Not much more to say about it as that's all we saw of it. Had a few different football games on as well as the golf. Beers weren't the cheapest on the strip or the greatest, but passable. Staff were pretty good though and no waiting for a drink

We did go when it wasn't in season. So it was quiet, which we expected. It was the busiest place on the strip, it has a bull out side which you can ride. There are members of staff outside trying to get people to come in, they give you a free shot. Which is just caramel liquor. One night they played a drinking game when we came in with cards. The dj played some bangers to get the party started. It was a mix of music at first until 12pm then it was house music when a very young crowd came in. The drinks were weak. However when we mentioned it, they put more alcohol in. The negative - The toilets are absolutely diabolical. Never have I been anywhere and couldn't use them. The door was broken on one cubicle. One toilet had a black bag over it and the other toiler seat was broken. Also walked into someone having intercourse in one of the cubicles. 🤮 There's also the same man in there every night trying to get with girls. Stands on the side, tries to talk/dance with you. So be wary.

Great bar, decently priced with some fun game machines as well. Enjoy the video of me falling of the mechanical bull.

The people there are so friendly and drinks are averagely priced for the area. Is gets really busy and the atmosphere with the live DJ is amazing. Enjoy Guys 😉

On 19 July 2025, at 3am, the two bouncers on the entrance were demanding tips from all the men trying to enter with a cup that had "TIPS MINIMUM 5 EURO" on them. Our friends were inside and we had to get them out so we could go home. My friend tried to move past them and he was grabbed and punched in the side by the security guy. This caused him to have a bruised rib and had to go to the hospital. The security was literally forcing tips on men trying to enter the bar. Absolutely awful behaviour from the security and the worst experience we have had anywhere on the strip. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE TRYING TO ENTER WHEN BOUNCERS ARE THERE. Edit to Owners Response: You say you've viewed the footage and nothing is there, the ambulance, paramedics, and my friends rib would say otherwise. These bouncers clearly have a long history of abuse just by looking at your Google reviews. I wouldn't be surprised if a small portion of the tips they make somehow make their way to your pocket. Disgusting.

Nice bar but the bouncers are always on one, last night caught my mate abit to drunk in the toilet and said he needs to leave. He asked them why but one bouncer picked him up. My friend offered to leave but said he’ll walk out himself no hassle and doesn’t need to be touched and groped by the bouncer as he’s a grown man. The bouncer repeatedly ignored his request and kept pushing him and shoving him as he was already walking out. My friend told the bouncer repeatedly to stop pushing him as he was walking out on his own accord no questions asked. At the exit the bouncer then punched my mate busting his lip and splitting it requiring stitches. Bouncer clearly had a power trip and couldn’t control his emotions.

Fantastic bar. I went on a girls trip here with my friends and DJ Mava made our night. Great staff, especially Ella. She was so helpful. I would recommend anyone come here for the music for DJ Mava and the hospitality of the staff

Ended up in here at some point towards the end of the evening. There was music and people which is about as much as I can recall given what time of night we got there and were on a stag do. Plenty of similar groups of people there to give you an indication of what sort of place it is.

Been here a few times and always a nice experience. They have their own unique cocktails with local ingredients. The cocktails are tasty and refreshing. Nice place to have your aperitif before a meal. It is pricy but worth the price in my opinion. Service is nice and professional. Ambience is relaxing with the sea view and breeze.

Really nice hidden gem that we've walked past many times over the years. Only a small place, but the ambience and drinks are amazing. It is quite expensive, with drinks between €14 - €17. Really nice experience, but the only slight disappointment is the barman asked if I wanted to add a tip before even paying the €57 for the four drinks we had. I was going to leave a tip anyway, and did leave a tip, but didn't like them asking me this as I thought it was a bit pushy.

The team at Sal Rosa are proud of their cocktails and take pleasure in explaining the ingredients and suggesting the perfect cocktail for one's tastes. We spent a lovely 2 hours here enjoying the delicious cocktails and the amazing view out over the beach. It is only possible to visit with a reservation and smaller groups are recommended, as it is a cosy space. While the cocktails may seem a little pricey at 15EUR each compared to some of the other bars/restaurants that serve cocktails, in our opinion you get what you pay for. Sal Rosa is using quality ingredients and mixing the cocktails with love to ensure a well balanced flavour profile.

Sal Rosa is a very pretty spot for drinks in Albufeira! We booked a table in advance but still didn’t end up right by the window since the bar is quite small, though it was still a lovely and aesthetic place to enjoy sunset. The drinks are definitely on the pricey side for the portion size, but they were delicious. Overall, it’s a great place for photos and the atmosphere is beautiful, but I don’t think I’d go back.

We came here after local people proposed it. The place is nice and they try to seem/provide high end experience but honestly it was nothing super wow. The cocktails cost 15€, and though they are special, I did not understand the price versus quality. The view is amazing - if you have one of the 2 front view tables. And one was already reserved with noone occuping it for one hour that we stayed having a drink. They have different choices on their menu than most cocktail places around, but the taste can be peculiar and not what you expect from the description. The employees speak both Portuguese and English and are happy to help customers with their choices. What is weird and didn't make sense was the closed door everytime someone goes out. Maybe it works in more busy months, with a feeling of exclusivity and high end, but in September it just seems unnecessary and too much. The whole experience could have been romantic and high end, but felt just OK and superficial.

This was absolutely my favourite place in albufeira . Snuggled high away overlooking the beach in old town (away from the party scene) , this tiny gem stand out with its thoughtfully curated cocktails which taste like a labour of love. The room feels like you’re in the living space of a hip artist friend who has both good taste and cool preferences. From the music to the drinks to the overall vibe, it’s a delight. Well worth the money and time if your in the area and highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a more tasteful experience it’s obvious the proprietors truely care about every single guest

Really amazing evening at Sal Rosa for some delicious, inventive and well-balanced cocktails. Lucas was fantastic, giving advice from the menu, and even going off menu to prepare us a couple of special drinks. We were lucky enough to get a spot by the window after having booked in advance online which added to the experience. The music was also a vibe, adding to the great atmosphere. Sure, the drinks are expensive, but you absolutely get what you pay for here. Would definitely return and recommend without hesitation!

Went on a Wednesday night. Got there at just after midnight when it opened. Was absolutely dead until we left at 3.30am. The majority of the night it was just our party on the bottom floor.

Dont come here, we came at 0:30 and the security told us it will be full at 2:00 or 2:30. Came back at 3:00 and were alone. Scam

It's not enough space for kizomba workshops. I recommend opening the whole space so everybody can enjoy learning and dancing.

Please stop organizing Kizomba parties here. The floor doesn't slide, it's rough - destroying your dancing shoes, and there's no space.

Worst club ever. I am on a trip and this is my second day going to this club out of the three. I got kicked out of the club before the party even started because I sat on the front stairs waiting for a few seconds until my friends left their jackets. The guards told me that I am not allowed and I let out a slight pfu and the head of the security got very mad that I disrespected his house. He kicked me out very aggressively like I was a menace for letting out a sigh. I asked the girls at the entrance to talk to the boss or someone in charge to let me in and apparently the head of security told them if they insist he will also kick them out even though they are organizers. Apparently the club is run by some security guard not by a manager or boss. Horrible attitude for a somewhat normal club. The prices are high, 3 euros for a beer. Change the staff because as a tourist to be treated like this doesn’t leave a good impression. Shame, heard I would have a nice time here, but ended up being disappointed in this part of Portugal.

Very careful with the waitress of ground floor bar close to the stage, if you pay with cash she will try to give you wrong change back. Trying to take advantage of tourists like a proper Portuguese gipsy. Music and environment is good because is plenty of Spanish people sharing good vibes

If I could give zero stars I would. I was at this bar when some random girl elbowed me in the kidney. Hard enough that I literally stumbled into my friend. When I instinctively pushed her back just a little she immediately started screaming for security like I was the one attacking her. Security came over and didn’t even bother to ask what happened. The first thing they asked me was what’s your nationality. I said Peruvian and the guy just looked at me and said out. No questions no listening nothing. He heard Peruvian and decided that was enough to kick me out. I was the one who got hit and somehow I’m the one being thrown out. The discrimination was so obvious it was disgusting. Staff was rude biased and didn’t care about the truth at all. Terrible experience. I will never go back and will absolutely warn others to avoid this place.

Worst place ever! Would not accept card payment. Said it was cash only but only after we had ate. Toilets disgusting and next to kitchen. Plenty other places to go and expensive for drinks compared to others. Tell you happy hour and charge full price! Guy in bar was obnoxious and should never be working with customers. Asked for Bolognese jacket and cheese far to much cheese tough to get through itless filling and there was no check back they were always on there phones or laughing not paying attention to the customers unless you was a girl!

AVOID- I visited this bar in November 2023 with my Family, I wish I’d have read the reviews before visiting this place.Myself and my family had been drinking/enjoying our selves in the outdoor seating area. My dad had been ordering his and my mums beer at the bar and also paying while he was there, however when we was leaving a waitress came to our table with a bill for my dad. I tried to explain he had already paid, the waitress then took me to another man who I explained the situation to who also wasn’t interested in helping me. Additionally The bar workers who had also been serving my dad lied/ acted confused when he tried to disputed the payment. Due to being in a foreign country we paid the bill without causing disruption. Although i do feel let down by the situation :( amongst other reviews they advise they believe to be little to no alcohol in the drinks, although I only had 2 “whoo whoo’s” cocktails here/the whole night and seemed to be heavily effected by the drinks ( felt like I was moving in slow motion/ aggressively sick before i made it back to the hotel ) I am rarely sick from the consumption of alcohol, especially 2. Please be wary of this bar, I will not be visiting again.

What a fabulous venue this is, it's absolutely gorgeous in side. Very Clun like, with a lovely balcony at the rear. I was expecting a view of the sea, but its obscured except at the end. The staff are lovely, the playlist was cool, and they do djs and live performances Fri and Sat night. If thos was in the centre it'd be packed out. We stayed in the apartments opposite, so I was local. Great vibe .

We had Moscow mules, classic mojitos and Magic love shisha. The drinks were amongst the best we had in Albufeira. Strongly reccomend coming here. The shisha were also really good and clean!

Got hit by bartender and drink got spiked same night. Me and my friends where at the all white party. We had a good time at the beginning. But while I was waiting to get a drink at the bar I was just tapping my cup on the bar because I was bored. Then the bartender just slap me on my head full force with a flat hand. Because my tapping was apparently annoying him. He didn’t warn me or anything. Then later that night my drink gat spiked. I didn’t notice that until I got home luckily. But when it did hit my I have never felt so bad in my whole life. So pretty bad club if you asks me. Also all the bouncers are like that. So many people told me stories like my own.

Made the silly mistake of trying this place when everywhere shut at 4AM. €20 entry fee, knew we were making a terrible mistake when I managed to get a glimpse through the doors, by that time it was too late. No idea what kind of music they were playing but it was awful, there were people recording it on their phones though so they obviously liked it. Can only presume this is a locals club, definatly not if you're British/Irish. Give it a swerve and just go home!

I took a cube of ice for my drink. After that the bar man hit me hard in my face. My neck is now all red and he threatened to kick me out because i just took a cube of ice. People should be happy in a place like this, not slap people hard in the face (especially people who are just taking ice mate…come on). This is not the way to go. Just tell me: “dont take the cube please” but dont slap me in the face. Unnecessary….

Very dirty place, we been there before but the place was rundown, one opening there is a dirty water running from the side of the bar on the floor. The place smells and looks like a covid19 trap.

I am a young girl who got absolutely horribly assaulted by the bouncers in this club. I wasn’t even in there 10 minutes and I got thrown to the floor for absolutely no reason. Massive bruises on my body from the bouncer manhandling me. My boyfriend who was at the bar at the time came over to see what was going on and he got hit in the face and knocked to the floor. I would absolutely not recommend this club and I hope you all stay away as they beat people for no reason. I confronted the bouncers at the door as I was obviously so angry of what had happened. I began to take pictures as evidence of what happened to me and the bouncer ran over and threw my phone as hard as he could. Do not go here ever.

If you are in Albufeira do not go here. That is very important. My friends and myself were there Sunday and we were treated like we were less than human. My friend who weighs about 55kg (115 pounds) was manhandled by the security staff. She was forcibly Thrown to the floor on her way to being kicked out. The only word I can use to describe the bouncers is animals. They have no respect for the people that are in the club. My friend saw his girlfriend being thrown to the floor by her neck and of course he intervened to see why she was being treated that way and he was assaulted without reason. One of the bouncers hit him in the face which knocked him out and he fell to the ground. The bouncers are misusing their power to treat people like they are scum. When my friend returned to ask why they had been treated that way all he got was a kick in the ribs and one of the bouncers grabbed my friends phone and threw it as far as he could. The bouncers at this club are not real people. They belong in a zoo and to be treated like the animals they are, having no respect for their fellow man. Again, if you are in albufeira, do not do not do not!!! Go here. Also ignore the reply that will inevitably come to this message. They are liars and will do anything to get people to come to their club. It is important you do not come and spend your money becuse it will sour your holiday like it has ours.

BEWARE you will be targeted here. We were dancing at our table when a strange girl came up and faked interest to get onto our table, then her companions came around crowded us. Strange street kids on drugs. Knocked our drinks over and ran off. It was really strange and felt like a setup. We are not strangers to high end clubs and this is a low end place.

Had an incredible night at this club — the VIP section was perfect! Booking VIP allowed us fast entry, great service, and the staff made us feel like royalty. Music, vibes, and energy were all on point. Highly recommend if you're looking for a premium night out.

Did not get any food. The drinks are great, alot of variety and very experienced bartenders. Shisha does not last long at all, the coals outlasted the tobacco, not recommended for the price.

Went here on a Monday night & had a good time. An argumentative local gave the 2 guys working a bit of crap but they handled it ok. Was waiting for a taxi next night outside as it's a big taxi pick up point & asked the younger lad if I could nip in & have a pee. No customers only, i said your joking & all of the above but no Customers only. Well I won't be a customer anymore but I might just walk in & have a pee then walk out! I politely asked, that was a mistake. Learn some customer relations

Friendly pub , good service beers and prices

Didn't eat here, but the bar staff and service were 2nd to none. Felt like my local and I was only there on 3 occasions. Horse racing, live music and good beer but it's the staff, Sam, Jennifer and Meabh that make this pub feel like home from home. We have to mention Paddy from Laois who was great craic when we visited. Will be back.

Awful experience would be zero if it could be. Male staff member banging on the toilet door of the female toilets as we were trying to go to the toilet over a spilt drink which we had nothing to do with. Claims to play R&B and house music but was nothing like it, one floor that was packed and played awful music and other floor was VIP which was much more. Overall don’t go here, worst €20 of my life

Went into the club around 3:30am and we were the only people there after paying €10. You do get a free drink but it was empty, I say it gets busy after 4am because all the bars on the strip close at that time. I will definitely go back again but at a later time!!

So this was a weird experience. Payed 20 pp to get in to listen to the same song 3 times in a hour. The toilets make you piss your own shoes. And the drinks were overpriced. It could be nice if there would be some oversight on/or understanding of hospitality

One of the better clubs after 2-3 am on the new strip. Drinks are pretty expensive, but if you get a fasttrack wristband you can get 1+1 free drinks in Albufeira 66 (Albufissa) nextdoor before 2 am. Clean in the beginning of the night. Music way too loud to speak, but lots of fun. Good acts and not to expensive for tickets even when there are big artists that night. Be aware that this is a Dutch hotspot though. Service is good, my friend lost his phone and we were able to pick it up next day after calling.

Went to the club at about 3am as things on the strip were about to close. Cost 10 euros to enter. There was no atmosphere in there, the music was no good. We left very soon and were not allowed to re enter.

We entered the bar and we went straight to the loo and the lady at the bar came after us asking what are we doing, being rude! The cocktail Margarita was really bad

It's an interesting space and my friends enjoyed the drinks. It was pretty late and my friends were hungry. They went across the street to Eddy's to get something to eat and brought it back. We were immediately told we couldn't eat there because Blue Bell doesn't have the right permit. Add to that they were about to close. So we took our show on the road.

Amazing bar, Rodriguez is a great guy the exact kind of bartneder you want to have on holiday. We went when it was quiet so we had the entire upstairs terrace to ourselves and hung out with cocktails, blankets and amazing music. Going to miss this bar when we're back home. Love from Ireland, Rodriguez!!!

When walking in met with a small dark little bar... dont be put off, get a beer and get upstairs to the terrace and lounge, great views. Nice decent priced pint. Great little pub.

very interesting old town. also a beautiful and widespread beac. the underground is mostly sandy with little rocks and shells . two sunbeds cost 21€. the old town has a party mile with live music and restaurant after restaurant with low prices.a pint of beer costs 4€. a stroll through the city is easily made in three hours.

I spent a week here 17 years ago, back then it was quiet bars and restaurants with quaint shops. Now it's like it's on speed! It seems the strip has moved into old town. The one thing stopping a 5 star from me is the fact you get hounded to go into the bars and restaurants, even in the morning! That aside the place is lovely the locals are great and there are some fantastic places to eat!

The latest visit in Albufeira that I did was last Thursday in September 2025. It was windy and still had many tourists. Nothing much changed from my last visit in 2021. The beach was beautiful. The sun is warm. Souvenirs, cafes, bars, restaurants, ice creams are there to be seen.

A very charming small town by the sea. Enjoy a stroll along the cobblestone alleyways, have a tasty seafood meal at one of the restaurants in the old town or hit the beach and enjoy the sun. Highly recommended.

Albufiera old town has a lot to offer. From bars, restaurants, shopping, and its proximity to the beach. There are small museums, churches and lots of things to keep you busy. The main square is vibrant. Lined with lbars, but a great place to people watch. Wander around the small streets, and you can find something for everyone. Many bars and restaurants have roof terraces, with great views over the beach and sea. At night, the place comes alive, with people of all ages. Crazy karaoke bars to old-time singers. Snack bars and fine dining. Many people come in on the little train and head down the escalator into town. These lead you through a large square that often has markets or music and leads directly to the beach. From the other side, there is a glass lift that takes you down from the town to the beach too. Out of season, this is a really peaceful place, but in the summer, it ramps up with hen and stag parties. I must say. Most people were very well-behaved. Fun in the sun

This bar is very cool, upon passing by it the first time I looked up the history of the hand collected shells and decided to go the next day for a drink. Wow what a beautiful and unique bar! The bartenders were skilled and made me a delicious ginja sour. I do find that the TV and bar merchandise such as tshirts and magnets ruin the “vibe” a bit but still worth it to pop in for a drink. We were staying just up the street from here and visited quite a few times. Family run and the guys were great. Really friendly and a good laugh. That’s why you go back to these places. The decor is stunning and was all done by them. It’s not a big place but has a great atmosphere in the evenings, great place for a cocktail. Would go back again.

Incredible bar, breathtaking, super friendly staff great prices and yummy cocktails

A wonderful little pub tucked away from the main streets of old town. The interior is made up of vintage items and traditional fishing town decor including hundreds of seashells around the bar and ceiling and exterior. Super Bock is the main beer with lots of spirits. No food capabilities, drinks only. Outside seating available for the warmer months. Very pleasant device and average prices for old town.

Loved this place. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They have a wide variety of spirits, wine and cocktails and superbock beer. It's the first bar I have been to that has given us some peanuts to go with our drinks. It must have taken them a long time to decorate this place with all the sea shells it has on the walls and ceiling. You have to pay this amazing bar a visit

We had an absolute blast at Legends Bar! The atmosphere was electric, the drinks were top-notch, and the pizza was seriously delicious. They played all the classic 80s and 90s hits, which got everyone dancing and singing along. The only downside was the whiskey sour, which unfortunately tasted like raw egg. But that was a minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic night. If you're looking for a fun and lively spot to hang out with friends, I highly recommend.

Very nice service. Speaking English very well and the Pina Colada is not only beautiful, it taste absolutely lovely! When we went we got a nice little shot in an eatable chocolade shotglass. Very tasty and original I recommend it!

Popped into here during our 20th Wedding Anniversary pub crawl. Great place, good atmosphere and drinks aplenty. Regular free shots and the staff are great. Had a boss time here.

It's a good place to drink with friends and have some fun but there are some things that could be better, for example they don't offer free shots as much as the other bars around and they get a 10% tip automatically, for example if you go with 20€ and order drinks for 20 you'll be charged 22€, but for the rest of it is good.

Bar server Becca was fantastic! Great atmosphere, Great staff, reasonable prices. Enjoyed the shots in the chocolate cups and Becca's suggestions for future shots were amazing. Thanks Becca for making our visits great, the Bristol Crew

Only stopped for a couple as we walked up the strip, decent prices, and excellent service. Really enjoyed the decor some great pictures on the wall. I think it would be a good place to watch premiership matches.

I had a late breakfast at this place. It was so average, dry toast with eggs and bacon. The service was great, attentive and fast. The price was friendly.

Popped in here for a drink on the Sunday night, An Irish man in an English bar, kept my head down 😂😂, lots of English sports memorabilia hanging in the bar area, lots of Jerseys etc, must try the food next time I am there 👍

Absolutely lovely place! On holiday and it's just a lovely place! The waiters/waitresses are just so nice and happy, so full of spirit! The food is just amazing and so fresh and tasty! Kid friendly and hungry man friendly! 😂. The atmosphere is lush and so happy, the live music is one of a kind and is just so fun and entertaining. The dancefloor is always filled haha. This is an absolutely amazing bar/restaurant. If you're visiting definitely check this place out! Lots of love from England.

Large selection of food choices and good value for money. Ideal for a lunch stop or a drink whilst soaking up the atmosphere of the square. Service was a friendly and quick.

The beach is absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear water and stunning views. There are many great spots to take amazing photos, especially at sunset. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature!

Wonderful beach. You can tell how healthy the marine life by the variety of seashells you find on the shore. Nice soft sandy beach perfect for a holiday.

Our favourite place to go was Ancora bar. Good entertainment. Visited 3 times out of our week's stay in Albufeira.

Certainly NOT the cleanest of places I have been . The bottom half down to the beach is a better area, more modern bars and a lot cleaner but be prepared for cardiac hill on the way there and back we did a tuc tuk which was great fun and the nicer bars are at the beach area . Foot paths are some of the worst ones. I have walked on up and down not good for people who struggle to walk or not good on their feet .There are holes all over the place on the paths and very slippy when wet . We went down during the daytime, so I would definitely avoid it at night . Not for us .

We were there in August and the nightlife is mainly for very young people, they looked to be between 15 and 25, all very drunk, high and ready to mingle. Very noisy, all bars blast the same songs, expensive drinks, the clubs which charge the entrance are not worth it. Albufeira Old Town is a much better choice

It's like a warm Blackpool turned up to 12, packed with people during the evening. If you like loud music, cocktails and t-shirts that say I ♡ MILFS, you'll love it. If you like Antiques Roadshow and fine dining then it's probably best avoided.

Very quiet during the day and at night crazy busy. Have bars, restaurants, clubs, shops, tattoo shops, dessert places from top of the strip to the bottom. A great atmosphere.

December Christmas week not busy at all which was a dream 😍👌🏼 Christmas Day plenty of restaurants open so don’t be worried that you won’t get food because plenty around. In the summer this place is crazy mayhem all the time with sports bars, clubs, pubs and restaurants kicking. But off season I found it to be nice 👌🏼 not many people around and lots of places do close for December season but I wouldn’t be put off by this. Plenty to see and do and plenty of beautiful restaurants around too.

Come with money. Lots of fun and very lively for you beautiful pictures of this around an area and buildings. You can also get boat tours out to all of the caves and other places along the shore. We went on a dolphin excursion and it was well worth the money for $30 each

We took a boat tour of the caves on the Mara excellent cruise.Many pictures of history cliffs.Caves, we absolutely enjoyed the day and the deck hands were extremely helpful.Because I have low vision

A great day spent at this wonderful Marina, first an amazing boat trip to see the Benagil caves & Dolphins with Oceaneye and then a really tasty meal at one of many great restaurants.

Very unusual area for yachts and waterspouts. Colourful apartment blocks and a huge long walkway with many bars either side abd covered seating. Definitely worth a visit! An hours walk from the old town along the esplanade or get a tuk tuk. The little train goes to it also.

This is a hidden little spot fresh clean modern friendly comfortable I could keep going, only 2 mins to the beach pop in and refresh you will not be disappointed

Lovely bar with a lovely owner called Lisa who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here & met some lovely people. Looking forward to enjoying a few more Spiced Captain Morgan's when we go back. Lisa proved good to her word, when we finished the only bottle one night, the stock was replenished for us the very next night. Please be sure to visit Friends you won't be disappointed.

Came here today, it's situated on the marina so you can sit by the water and look at the fish and boats that are parked up. The food here is reasonably priced, there was a wait on ours because the waiter forgot to press send on the machine, but it was worth the wait as the food was amazing. I would definitely come here again! 🙌

Fantastic atmosphere on the marina! Kaleigh (sp) & Chris don’t miss a step with service. They are true professional customer service. Beers are a good deal, burgers are tasty & the couches are ridiculously comfy. A perfect Sunday with the sun on our face in the marina.

Had a few drinks & a dance here. Staff on the bar were quick & the girls working outside were great & working hard for the entire time we were there. Toilets ended up quite minging towards the end of the night. Our drinks also got more expensive unsure why.

Good atmosphere but tried to short change us. We arrived without having too many drinks before and my friend payed €20 for a drink at €8.50 and they gave €1.50 back. My friend questioned and The bartender ignored my friend. She looked very guilty and my assumption is that she assumed we were drunk and tried to get away with short changing us. The other guy behind the bar then gave us the €10. Didn’t get a good first impression. The music was good however.

While music was alright, bar staff was rude and sold a group of people drinks 3 minutes before closing. It would have been fine if they would have told us that, but instead they asked us to go to drink them in a street.

we were approached by this guy who told us that on the menu drinks were 5€. when we got in we asked for a menu but the barista said it wasn’t available, so we asked for some gin-lemons. we ended up paying 18€ for each drink. we went to the guy who approached us and told him what happened and he told us that only the drinks on the menu were 5€ and that gin-lemon wasnt in it. we were greatly scammed by there guys. be careful

Made me appreciate bars in Ireland🫶 same 20 songs played every night but mostly bangers so that’s alright. €17 for 1 vodka redbull should be considered a crime, also lots of creepy creept men! Good atmosphere during the weekends and week days, but they scam the turists. I’ve ordered 2 big gin Beefeaters, on the cash register 18€, on the paycheck 36. When I confronted her she made 2 small gins for the “small” ones.

I was with two with two friends that have a african background, I got in and I hadn‘t a drink an the Security told them that they dont come in if they don‘t buy a drink first. I think the security is racist. How am I coming in and they don‘t?

Hen party of 17 visited Atlantic Bar! Kiara was great organising us before the event and whilst we were there. Super helpful and made it a great night for our hen! The live music was amazing.

We sat in the Marina side, very comfortable and plenty of space between tables. Food was excellent and very tasty. The toilets were well maintained.

Inviting space for tourists, however, terrible and very slow service. We were able to communicate with the employees, but only in English, as none of them spoke Portuguese. We ordered 5 toasts and fries and waited 50 minutes for them. In the end, payment was requested to be made in cash. And if not, they suggest paying to a personal Revolut account. The most unpleasant thing was the waiting time and the noise around which made communication difficult

We really enjoyed our visit to 'Barbers'. From arriving 'Rambo' was a real entertainer but a real menace with the better looking girls, the ongoing service from his hostesses was very good. The music was great and thankfully a priority over football which is why we came here. HOWEVER the toilets are an utter disgrace, with no loo roll, urine all over the floor in the gents with urine overspill flowing out of the cubicle into the shared sink area & no loo roll in the ladies either with roll all over & stuck to the wet floor. We grade an establishments attitude towards hygiene in the toilets to the same pride as in their kitchen, so we definately would not eat here, hence a 3☆ review. Finally the cocktails are great and the fishbowls attractive, but check the price first if a hefty bar tab after would be of concern.

We had to wait 30 minutes before we got to order. Our server didn’t even look at us when she was taking our order. Her mind was in another world. Then I had to wait 15 minutes for my drink. When we got our food my friends still hadn’t gotten their drinks and the staff is very rude

This place was the loveliest place to eat ever. The staff were absolutely lovely and very quick with the food and drinks. I went back there every day for lunch as it was such a home away from home. We made friends with waitress Sanjana who was the highlight of our trip, so kind, smiley and so attentive to us.

I was excited to see Yolo Lounge from previous reviews. We went upstairs to check out the roof bar and view. Decor was really cool and funky. Lovely holiday music playing also. We ordered cocktails, which was very disappointing, especially for the price. Really watered down. But other than that, staff and service were friendly and a hip cool vibe .

That's a great bar to visit, good cocktails, a cool lounge with an excellent view, it's a must in Albufeira. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the waitresses Bruna and Iara were exceptionally good. I have visited the place several times and will definitely come back.

What a place! Even during the day the extertainment and craic was mighty! Get yourself all the way to the rooftop for some incredible scenery! Service was exceptional!

I’ll start with the good: The butter that comes with the bread was amazing. We couldn’t stop eating it. The picanha was nice and juicy, the fries were crisp and hot. The cocktails were incredible, perfect amount of alcohol. And the Santa Eulalia roll was very tasty. The atmosphere is really nice, and most tables are well shielded from the wind. The bad: the food came way too fast. We got the bread and not even two minutes later they were serving us the food. We didn’t even have our drinks yet. So the meal was not well paced. We wanted to enjoy a bit of our drinks and bread but literally couldn’t cause the food arrived so fast and we didn’t want the meat to get cold so we just ate. I don’t know how they prepared everything so fast, it’s almost as if they had it pre made? We were a bit confused with that. We ordered the bluefin nigiri and they were so skimpy on the fish. That was disappointing, especially for the price. You could barely taste the fish with how thin it was (picture attached). Overall it was a nice meal and we enjoyed it.

Gorgeous restaurant in Santa Eulália beach - highly recommended. Sushi is quite good, yet if you choose meat, it’s also a safe bet. Flat iron is quite delicious. Very nice wines and cocktails. Amazing staff and cool music. Try not to miss the sunset while drinking a cocktail.

Great vibe and incredibly welcoming and charming staff. A good menu for food and cocktails. Not cheap but then it’s a really high-end, classy venue and an excellent spot overlooking the bay. Clientele are a curious mix. Plenty of those that like to be seen in cool places but equally welcoming to families and ate there with my young family a couple of times during our stay. Return visit we were welcomed like old friends. There was a DJ later at night but was not intrusive if you just wanted a chat over a cocktail. Definitely worth visiting and the best venue we found in the town. Highly recommend.

Super SPOT! Maybe the best in all Algarve for dinner and party this summer. The meat was amazing, the service super fast and the wine glass always full, but the most incredible thing is the location and the view over the beach, the most beautiful I've visited in the region. A must Go!

Pretty disappointed. Staff gave the menu without any explanation. We ordered freight rice but it appeared to be something else. The mixed sashimi at 35 euro was a huge disappointment. Very thin slices of sashimi and very little. In the most expensive places it is much much better. We ended up hungry and had to order fries and mayo. Never again !

Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Shameless Racism at the Door If you’re a person of color, especially South Asian or of any visibly non-European ethnicity, do yourself a favor and stay far away from La Bamba in Albufeira. My friends and I, all well-dressed, respectful, and ready to enjoy a night out, were blatantly denied entry solely because we’re brown. And no, this isn’t an assumption—we were explicitly told this to our faces by the bouncer. He looked us up and down and said, without shame or hesitation, “We don’t let your kind in here.” We were stunned. It’s 2025. In a city that markets itself as a tourist paradise, how is open racial discrimination still tolerated—worse yet, seemingly encouraged—by an establishment like this? There was no dress code issue, no drunken behavior, no unruliness. Other groups, clearly from different backgrounds and dressed similarly, were let in with zero questions. We were singled out because of our skin color and told directly that we weren’t welcome. This isn’t just a bad night out. It’s a reminder of how deep-rooted and unchecked racism can still thrive in supposedly “cosmopolitan” destinations. Shame on the management of La Bamba for either condoning this or failing to train their staff in basic decency and inclusion. If you are a tourist of color, think twice before giving this place your time or money. Albufeira deserves better. And so do we.

I was really disappointed by the service. The welcome was amazing, however it went downhill from here. We ordered our food which was the Rodizio all you can eat and we were really excited to try it. A family came in 10 minutes after us and they ordered the same and was served before us! We were just waiting and waiting hoping to see the starters coming to us, but nothing came and landed to the family instead of us. We asked for the tab and the server didn't even try to get our food right away. She said sorry but I felt really frustrated. Will definitely not go back.

worst customer service I have ever experienced. The manager grabbed my food off the table when i was searching for my receipt (bearing in mind he took my order). It's really upsetting because the food was quite nice but we weren't even informed we needed to keep our receipts and whether it was self service or not (which it was). They also forgot my drink with the order and seemed to be annoyed I even asked even though we spent over €50. When I raised the issue with him he raised his voice repeatedly and refused to accept that it was wrong to grab my food off the table and act so extremely rude. He said he didn't care and that I should have showed my receipt straight away. I made him aware that next time when someone is searching for their receipt he should wait instead of grabbing it off the table. Absolutely disgraced and will never go back to this place again and will definitely not be recommending this place to anyone ever so your loss. Completely ruined our night - go somewhere else where people will treat you nicer cos this guy was appaling

Food was okay, service was bad. Went in as 3 males for a buffet. 5 times they walked passed us, saw our empty plates and served a white couple more food than they can eat a table away from us. Didn't even get to try the ribs. We weren't told any instructions on how to order, except they walk around an offer you food. One star for service.

Lovely steakhouse on the strip of Albufiera. Welcoming, friendly and a great atmosphere. All you can eat meats: lamb, pork, beef, chicken as well as salad, chips and other sides. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely return, and would definitely recommend.

Rib eye steak, fries, salad, garlic bread, rice beans, washed down with an ice cold beer for 20 euros. Size wise there was enough salad, ricec etc to feed 3 people. I wish I'd had chance to try the all you can eat bbq. Next trip hopefully. Superb value and quality.

Trying to cash in on the Ibiza brand but soo well off the mark. Atmosphere was dead. Toilets are a disgrace, dirty, bug infested, no soap, no toilet seat and no toilet paper. Great to see they care about their customer's comfort. Won't be back.

It was okay! they didn't have a lot to eat food wise, just the basics that you'd find everywhere around Albufeira, pizza ,chicken, burgers etc. They do have a lovely outside area alright and I liked the vibe of the place. I was hoping there would be carvery as we saw pictures of it on Google! but no carvery. Overall, an okay experience 🥰

Was early enough of a Tuesday morning so wasn't too busy , I got rashers toast and beans and pint of magners, it hit the spot and the price was decent , I'd return. Staff were friendly and full of smiles

This place has a reputation. Many reviews taking of wild west style brawls. Our visit was not as exciting. A mixed crowd of young and old. One old man was asleep at the bar, and very little else. No happy hour unfortunately.

Not a massive fan of this bar. Very much one for a slightly more mature crowd and lacked a bit of atmosphere even though it was fairly busy. There was an acoustic guitarist playing who was fairly decent. He plays there every night though apparently so it would drive you a bit mad as a regular! The Super Bock wasn’t of great quality either and didn’t seem well kept. The bar man wasn’t paying attention and made the wrong drinks by not listening properly and talking to other patrons during the process. Not a place I’d hurry back to.

This restaurant is absolutely worth a visit. It was our second night in Albufeira when my husband and I came in for a visit. The food is delicious, the wine list is also very good (prices range from affordable good wines to very posh and expensive ones). The starters, mains and desserts were all so lovely. The service is also warm and attentive! I would certainly recommend.

I really recommend this place. So thoughtful they had a birthday balloon for my sister whose birthday we were celebrating there. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere is wonderful. One of the best risottos I’ve had. Perfectly combined with the cod in crispy batter! Delicious. My starter was perfectly crispy with the sweet and savoury mix.

Exciting place to be. Just around the corner of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, we found this great place. It is not an insider anymore, as Michelin has spotted it years ago. The service is great and the food is even greater. We had different dishes, surrounded by the wine card , which supports the wine competence of this beautiful country. We are sitting in the middle of the European California, with all the easygoing we know from the television. The only difference is, that this is real, as the people are grounded and real. My wife and I wanted to enjoy a really nice peaceful evening together and I found this restaurant on Google. I could not have been luckier because the staff and service was first class, the atmosphere and ambience was perfect and the food was absolutely amazing, we could not have come away happier, thank you.

I tried to get a table during the F1 race, but then it was fully booked (it happened to be my birthday...) I have not tried any restaurants with Michelin Stars in the Algarve, but I doubt that they will be any better. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Each one was very fine dining, our compliments to the chefs for their amazing work. Equal compliments to the super friendly staff, that made it an amazing service. Fantastic wines also! Would highly recommend, and would be surprised if Al Quimia does not get a Michelin star soon. Easy 5 stars!

Restaurant is beautiful and service was impeccable. All dishes were served by two waiters at a time, our drinks were constantly filled and the staff was attentive and kind. We had the Earth menu which was meats, some dishes were very nice but most were overly complicated and not nice at all, there was very little meat in them all and the meal took almost 3 hours as there were so many courses. really wished the food was as delicious as the service was good!

This is in the top 3 meals I’ve ever had. Top notch service, while somehow being completely unpretentious. The food is unbelievable - inventive, rich, differentiated. The wine pleased this hard to please couple! Unreal experience. Will recommend to anyone who wants a quality meal and understands good service.

We dined at this restaurant last night and me and my friend can both agree it was one of if not the best dining experience we’ve ever had from start to finish the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive and we loved how they showed their personalities a bit. Of course a massive thankyou to the chefs as well watching them cook and prepare the food only added to the amazing experience 10/10 would highly recommend.

If you have visited casinos in North America then definitely not worth the visit if you are expecting the same experience.... If you want to spend some time in front of a slot machine or on one of the few tables then it is worth a visit...

Not really one for Casinos but a few in our party wanted to visit. I did leave €20 to the good thanks to Portuguese dice (more luck than skill). It was a well run place with smooth money to chips transfer and an ok atmosphere.

There are almost no players in high season. I came for Texas Holdem, but there was me and an other candidate…so no playing when I was there. Therefore it lacks atmosphere. It had potential, but much had to be improved!

Truthfully if you're planning to play at the live tables don't come here, came on a super busy Sunday evening, only 2 live roulette tables were open with everyone swarming around them and 1 blackjack table with the same players being there for the 30minutes I was spectating. If you are a slots player you will probably love it as they have hundreds of machines, entry was very speedy with a passport, but without it, you will be waiting in the queue for ages until you get in if you are trying to get in with a UK driving license. Bathroom facilities also seemed quite janky and unhygienic.

I visited with my two sons and they were very happy with the experience. You begin by scanning your passport or photo id to enter. You need to be 18+. Then you have a large selection of slots to the left/straight in and the other tables to the right. We went browsing the slots before deciding on a bunch with progressive jackpots that seemed popular. We played for about 2.5 hours and left with a profit. Some crazy people were hitting on the slots for luck? Security let them be because they didn't break anything. On the topic of security I was told not to use my mobile near the slots since there are apps that can be used to cheat, you can use it at the bar or any area not close to the slots though. Security was polite, I read some comments that they were not, but that wasn't true today anyway. A very good gin tonic was 7 EUR and I think you get water for free. Place is nice, saw it was karaoke, my daughter loves karaoke, sings about 10 songs, they invited us in on this premise, then said thanks for your drinks money but your daughters not singing on her own. Went here twice on my recent trip to Albufeira, the staff were lovely and welcoming, never had an empty drink as their service was top notch and 6 euro for a towering strawberry daiquiri was fantastic. They came around with free caramel shots at one point, too, which were lovely. Smoking is permitted on the open terrace part of the bar. Enjoyed it very much here.

Place is lovely, went on Wednesday and it was booming with people singing and having fun. Staff are fabulous but I think guys working there should pay more attention to how girls are treated. I witnessed a young guy clearly harassing one of the bar girls, she was doing whatever she could to get rid of the guy without being rude, to the point where I was ready to get him off her, but luckily he left. I went to speak to her and reassured her that I'm happy to help her if she needs it, she said it was ok, but I can tell she was clearly shaken. It is a shame that guys there pretend not to see it when one of the girls need help.

Didn't get the chance to really sample this place. On the brief rest, the music was spot on with bit of Bob Marley. The decor and lights looked great. And seating looked plentiful and comfy. Bigger inside area that looks from outside. Would definitely give this place a checkout if in the old town .

Visited for match day while on holiday. Absolutely fantastic atmosphere. Place was mobbed but the service at the bar was still super fast and efficient. The staff were really fun and friendly. Can't big it up enough. Would thoroughly recommend a visit for any Celtic fans. Pint of Venom 15 euros. Cash only at the bar.

Just back from a girls trip and this place was the absolute highlight of the holiday ✨️ staff are the most welcoming people and place was always buzzing!

Directions isn't the best, we walked pass this place 3 times. Then came back later in the night to find it, then walked passed twice again. To only realise it was upstairs not down on the main road. So please get to 'KATS' on you right then look upstairs on your right. And it's upstairs. A little quite at 12.50am We had quite a few cocktails then before departing back home (apartment), so can not comment on the rest of the night or prior to this time. (Left around 2am) Bar staff - wonderful, friendly, understandable, and very helpful. Venue - very small, most prob around 50 people inside, and a balcony already either a few tables for easy access over the strip. Drinks - we only had cocktails, they were to die for, well done to the staff for the many many cocktails made with precision and skill..

An awesome place for the perfect cocktail and the opportunity to chat up LGBTQ locals and expats. Diogo and Tiago (owners) are very welcoming and knowledgeable of local sites, history and mixology! Go when nearby, you will be glad you did!

We stopped here on our second night in Albufeira while checking out the strip. This was hands down our favorite spot that we found that night! We were immediately welcomed and got an amazing recommendation for the house cocktail. We sat on the terrace and found it was an amazing spot for people watching everyone going down the strip. It brought us so much joy to find a queer bar abroad and we’re so glad that Connections exists! Make sure to visit next time you’re in town.

Cheap drinks and great view of the craziness in the street below! We are from Canada and was fun to do shots and add to the country score board. The waiter was very charming and fun to chat to!
