Ristorante Cadran Solaire is a lovely and large restaurant located along the pedestrian-only main street in Courmayeur. The restaurant, named after the sun-dial adorning its upper floor, offers sophisticated fare in a surprisingly family-friendly ambiance. The cozy bar area with a vaulted ceiling of stone from the 16th century provides a charming setting for diners.
This was a great place for dinner on our layover day on the TMB. The food was great - beautiful presentation and generous portions. The restaurant is stunning - we ate inside and were blown away by the beautiful details. The service was impeccable. Definitely check it out while you’re in Courmayeur!

We went there for a lunch because it has great reviews on the google maps. We had antipasti which was really tasty, risotto and pasta with the beans. Unfortunately, pasta was extremely heated and I burnt myself. Risotto was nice, pasta so-so. House wine and bread was a big plus.
Anna A — Google review
The food was decent, but nothing exciting. Good ingredients, well cooked, but unfortunately lacking flavor. For this price there are much better alternatives in the area.
S K — Google review
Excellent from the second we arrived! We were greeted warmly and brought to our table where we quickly received water and menus. The wines we had were excellent and the service was so nice. All of us loved our meals and desserts. I wish we could go again before we leave!
Laura M — Google review
From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the place. The food was, quite simply, delicious. Every dish we ordered was amazing but what truly sets Cadran Solaire apart, however, is their incredible accommodation for dietary needs. As someone with celiac disease, dining out can often be hard but here it was a pleasure. The staff was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely eager to modify dishes to be gluten-free, ensuring I could enjoy the same high-quality meal as everyone else without any worry. The service was nothing short of amazing. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our experience special. We left feeling completely satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit.

If you’re completing the Tour du Mont Blanc and having a rest day in Courmayeur, come here. Atmosphere, location, and attentiveness of staff: 5/5.

An excellent choice for dinner. Charming decor, great lighting (rare in some Italian restaurants!) and amazing food. Staff were all very welcoming. Would definitely return.

I have booked the restaurant for my birthday party, definitely it’s one of the most beautiful places in town. The service was good and the food was absolutely delicious. All my guests had an amazing time.

La Terrazza is a charming rustic restaurant that offers a diverse menu featuring local Aostan plates, Italian-Mediterranean dishes, and delectable pizzas. The establishment's wine cellar boasts an impressive selection of Aosta Valley wines. With nearly 30 years of experience, this family-run restaurant prides itself on serving seasonal Mediterranean Italian cuisine. In addition to their excellent pizzas, La Terrazza also offers raclette and fondue on their special menu.
Delicious. Had to come back for dinner after a great lunch.

Decent food in a cozy setting. Dishes are a hit or miss, price is quite high for what you get. Recommended: meat dishes like lamb chop or fillet mignon, tomato oregano salad, porcini mushroom pasta. Not recommended: cabbage salad with anchovies, fondue, fondant chocolate cake. Service is a bit slow but it seems it was especially crowded today due to UMTB event.
Van B — Google review
Nice family run Italian Resturant. Recommended by our hotel the meal for our family of 6 was excellent. They have both local and general Italian specialties. Local beef and veal was especially good.
Bill D — Google review
We had the best meal of our trip here. We shared the alpine herb salad, the beef ragù pasta, the roasted chicken, the cheesecake, and the strudel — every single dish was extraordinary. The local beer was excellent as well. Highly recommended!

Stopped here on a road trip after an arduous wait at the Mont Blanc tunnel and was concerned that we would be too late for lunch. However we were welcome with open arms! The older gentleman who I can only assume was the owner was very friendly even greeting our screaming baby with smiles and laughter. With baby finally settled, ambience in the restaurant was relaxed and chilled, a great spot for a quiet date? Finally not to be topped by the service and ambience alone the food was fantastic, we ordered the octopus pasta, bolognese, pork ribs and burrata. The octopus was the star in a faultless line up; a generous amount of octopus within a beef mince bolognese like sauce and pasta cooked perfectly. A happy surprise break from our travels will come again when I’m in the area. Practical yet useful side point, the baby changing facilities are clean and spacious. Thanks for a great experience !

Amazing!! Service was great, spoke English, Italian and French! We were greeted with a kind smile from a great lively man! Even though they didn’t have much room, they made room for us! So generous and it was well worth it! Food was heavenly 😇 Highly recommend the sliced beef with salad and Parmesan, and the ravioli! It was great lunch with amazing vibes that really enhanced our quality family time. #ciaobella 💃🇮🇹

The atmosphere was super quaint, authentic Italian countryside. The servers were great and attentive. We asked for butter with our bread and it was so delightful, fresh and cold. I recommend doing that! The food we ordered was great (didn't like the entrée ravioli too much), but I enjoyed the charcuterie appetizer and wine.
Taylor C — Google review
The restaurant was very accommodating. We entered the restaurant with a warm welcome from a friendly Italian Uomo with mustache. The waitress took our order with some dishes based on Google review. We also ordered 3 desserts with recommendations from waitress. Every single dish we ordered were very tasty. The desserts were to die for.

Located in the charming town of Courmayeur, Restaurant Pierre Alexis 1877 is housed in a historic maison dating back to 1877. The restaurant offers a blend of mountain-inspired decor with modern design elements, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The menu features a focus on regional recipes such as alpine fondue, revisited dishes like mountain ramen, and traditional Italian fare including beef tartare and foie gras terrine. Additionally, the wine list showcases both local and international selections.
This restaurant is FIRE. The Chef has some serious range. My husband is a serious food critic (like obnoxiously tough on restaurants) and he left saying this was the best meal he’s ever had. We hedged and decided to do a la carte instead of the tasting menu, which we ended up regretting. Each dish was fantastic. We’re not wine people whatsoever but were blown away by the ones we tried. This was a highlight of our TMB - so glad our hotel recommended this to us. Do yourself a favor and dine here!

Very mixte experience. Food: In over all is a great work done on a food, especially the amuse bouche and eel and dumplings soup. One desert was okay and one was extremely desapointed for what is expected in this type of restaurant. Service : I understand is a Family restaurant, huge respect for that type of work but it mean passion. This was great by the woman who took the orders, and food is again good in overall. However the boys who serve the foos where very cold and not giving much attention( is only one other table in a room). The one dress in black, was very much ignoring us. It took more than 10 min to just get menu and water, ask some explanation about the amuse bouche à second time, one waiters as for his brother to come and explain that never happend. I had to ask the mom, who been very nice. Again when I ask for wine and few options by the glass, it was not very nice experience ( I have WSET level 3, and been managing place in different county so I have certain knowledge however asking questions should be normal) feel like I was taken for a idiot... But the service improve by the the waiters in blue at the middle of the lunch. Desert : one out of the two was nice but the chocolate dessert was extremely desapointed, very little flavour. In overall it would I would have enjoyed much more by having a proper costumer service from the beginning to the end. A restaurant is a full experience, from the food to the service. Please be more welcoming and warm with all your costumers not just the friends of the house.

One of the fanciest restaurants in Courmayeur, city center located. Make sure you have reservation. When it comes to food and service, everything was pretty good, but only venison portion was pretty much enough as one meal, if you are hungry don’t hesitate to order starter and first meal, otherwise you might be hungry afterwards. We were first guests and even that our order got wrong, I had to wait 40 min for my plate. The manager apologized after and reduced the bill with the tip price so that’s ok. Tasty food but we still expected a little more from the Michelin rated restaurant. Nevertheless, recommended! 🙂

Absolutely delicious, varied wonderful food. Lovely place. Triggered my seasonal allergies a bit. Very accommodating, nice, knowledgeable and helpful (including making lactose free variants). Eel, celery desert, amouse bouch, polish steak, were particularly wonderful.
Dan O — Google review
I had the best meal of my time in the TMB here. Every dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with a clear sense that a lot of thought had gone into each element on the plate. I dined in the garden, which made the experience even more relaxing and special. The wine selection was outstanding, and the young sommelier offered spot-on suggestions that elevated the meal even further. Service throughout was first-rate—attentive, warm, and professional without being overbearing. This place is a gem. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a refined, memorable meal in a beautiful setting.

The experience as a whole was a disappointment. We went there and ordered some food and wine. What I really considered to be a bit too much was that I hadnt been allowed to order one main dish only I had to order minim um two (but I said ok this is fine dining I can move on). First they brought us on the house some appetisers on wooden cubes (three 2cm things). They looked cute but the tase was horrible. The cheese ball in boia had literally no taste. The tart was mid and the macaron was indeed ok. The first dish came as I ordered Rabbit Meat Spaghetti. They were the most horrendous spaghetti I have ever eaten in my life. The meat had no taste and the spaghetti as well. Actually the taste was “weird” like I was eating plain pasta with some funny-taste chicken meat without anything. So I paid 30€ for the worst spaghetti of my life. What I really didnt like was that as far as I know at a fine dining restaurant the dishes should be all brought at the same time for everyone on the table which didnt happen. Some of us had to wait with the food in front of us till the others got theirs. The second dish came, which was an onion on a plate with some kefir and here comes the best part. I ordered it specifically because it stated it had sweet potato chips. Well…those chips were like 4 nail-size wannabe failed attempt to make the chips look like petals…That was it…They were soo thin you were barely able to taste them… And the onion was the second most horrendous thing that I have ever eaten in italy. I had to give it to someone else for how bad it was. After we paid the “madame” of the local asked me if I enjoyed the spaghetti and I honestly answered: “I had better”. She seemed offended and answered “You must be lucky then” Lemme tell you how you proceed in this kind of situation: Politely it is to apologise for your food being lame and tasteless at a fine dining not how she answered. Maybe all the snobs there use to say that the food is excelent by default but there was some honest feedback. Your food sucks lady. It is expensive and it sucks. I dont mind the fine dining prices but if I pay that much I expect delicious food not some snob attitude with tasteless food. Here comes the bad part: So in the text here, I mentioned that the Spaghetti had a weird taste. Turned out I was right because most likely the rabbit meat was spoiled since I woke up nauseous in the middle of the night vomiting the spaghetti and the meat( and yes I am a doctor so I know what made me vomit ) In conclusion: a disappointment of a fine dining experience, a wannabe snob restaurant, extremely overrated with low quality food. The only good thing about it was the ambiance. It was nice not gonna lie. And the tastiest food was the bread with butter. If you want to eat well just go any other place.

Deserves a Michelin star. Pigeon was the best poultry dish we had, maybe ever.

Very good restaurant in the heart of Courmayeur. Inside you're welcomed by nice brick arches and white walls, a really great setting. On the menu you can find several traditional and local flavours, but presented in a modern way. I've been there for my Christmas Dinner, and I enjoyed every single course. Staff has been polite and helpful since my late reservation. Definitely recommended! Have a try if you're around.

Pizzeria Ristorante du Tunnel is a popular dining spot in Courmayeur, known for its delicious wood-oven pizzas and traditional mountain cuisine. The chalet-style space spans two levels and includes a terrace for al fresco dining. It's a favorite among locals and visitors alike, offering a casual yet serious approach to food. In addition to their renowned pizzas, the restaurant also serves up traditional Aostan dishes such as polenta with beef ragu.
Went to this place twice to have their pasta and pizzas. Pizzas are thin crusted and huge with nice toppings. Pasta was flavourful too. Service was excellent and we were welcomed with big enthusiastic smiles. Saw a dog dining tog inside with owner too. It's a great pet friendly place.
Lee L — Google review
Very nice stop for food. The restaurant is pretty, and the food is good. The portions of the first plates are large, so be mindful not to order too much food. A single pasta plate was a good lunch portion.
Justin K — Google review
The pizza, lasagna amd the gelatto were amazing. Highly recommended if you are in Cormayeur or Aosta Valley
J A — Google review
Disappointing Experience Despite the Hype We had high hopes for De Tunnel Pizza after hearing great recommendations, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. We tried to make a booking in advance but received no response. Google listed their opening time as 7pm, so we arrived right on time—only to find the place already packed with people and no clear system for seating. The restaurant is very small, cramped, and noisy, making for an uncomfortable dining experience. Service was poor and inattentive, and the food itself was average at best. Given all the hype, we were left feeling pretty disappointed and wouldn't rush back.
Shannon G — Google review
Food was not bad but the prices are misleading. You ask for a 16€ dish of the homemade pasta and they sneakily ask if you want “fresh” mushrooms. When asked, they claimed it was 2-3€ extra per dish, but after receiving the bill, both plates added up to 50€ (and any dessert ranges from 9-13€ too). So just watch the prices, food was good though.
Max — Google review
I have eaten in this restaurant a couple of times long ago. And last night (15th of September) I checked the reviews and they were pretty good, so we (a group of 10) decided to go here. The place was full and as apparently it is very popular it's probably often full. The food was all right, pizzas were pretty good, said those in our group who had pizzas. Other dishes (pasta and sallads) were so-so. I have to say that I often wonder where some of these establishments get their fames from. This place seems to come up with a fantastic idea of making their pizzas enormous, twice the size of the plate. And that seemingly makes many happy customers since that is the only thing I see going for this place. Food is ok, I'm not saying that, but it's definitely not something you would remember long after. But, the worst thing was the service. In Italy you are used to having a nice and professional service, and friendly. Our waiter could not care less what we thought and what we wanted to eat. In the end he was so tired of serving anyone that he ignored us and refused to come and get our coffee and desert orders, he just wanted us to leave because he was tired of his work. We did not talk much to other staff, but at least all those we tried to talk to and paid attention to, didn't seem very enthusiastic of their jobs either. So, me, owner of a travel agency, will not go back to this restaurant but will happily bring my (and my clients') money to nicer and friendlier restaurants in Courmayeur.
Pette H — Google review
Honestly wish we hadn't bothered, the staff certainly can't be bothered either! No structure to the place - no staff member seems to be in control of a set area of tables, so trying to order & continue to be served is a nightmare!! They charge 5€ per cover for nothing, also for tap water. Food is okay, pizza good but, seriously find somewhere else as you'll leave disappointed. 120€ later, we certainly did! n.b. We ALWAYS tip, we didn't here!
Carron K — Google review
Wanted to have pizza for lunch in Courmayeur and selected this place due to the reviews. Was not disappointed with the pizza, it was good - thin crust and quite large in size. The carbonara pasta was ok too. The restaurant seems quite popular as many people streamed in and it was soon almost full (luckily we got there a bit earlier).

Nestled in the heart of Courmayeur, La Bouche is a must-visit destination for cocktail enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This chic bar offers an inviting outdoor space complete with cozy fire pits, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. Here, talented mixologist Valentina crafts unique cocktails using local mountain herbs, flowers, and fruits while guests can savor delightful small bites. The ambiance is enhanced by live music from DJs or bands that set a relaxed vibe.
Seldom to you get to interact with such passionate cocktail and drink makers. Really enjoyed our night here and would recommend you go there too. Nice outside area that we did not enjoy because we were too enthralled at the bar enjoying a fantastic range of local liquor. We will be back!

Tricky to rate la bouche. Drink was good but service was ok. The ladies at bar or behind bar were good but gents a bit ackward. My major major issues with this place was that everybody working was sick and caughing and sneezing non stop , in their hands, in on into the drinks and never washing their hands before grabbing ingredients for cocktails, or making food platters. That is unfortunate as I do not think these were ideal condition to be serving customers.
Emma — Google review
You must visit this place. I thought I've been to the best cocktail bars in New York. This place is another level. Bartenders were super friendly, fun and helpful. Food was delicious also.

This was the best place we went to in Courmayeur: great drinks, very friendly staff and you can order food from the seafood restaurant next door.

Highly recommend this spot should you find yourself in courmayeur and in need of a cocktail. Smoke on the water was a presentation and we had some other innovative takes. Staff was very friendly. Only request would be to add a few more stirred drinks to the menu.

Excellent selection of cocktails of all types (classic, high end, modern twists, basics etc). Excellent and friendly service as well. Great music. The included charcuterie board with each cocktail was an unexpected and very nice touch.

We didn’t expect to find such a great cocktail bar in Courmayeur, but were pleasantly surprised to discover La Bouche. They offer a lot of options and we enjoyed every drink that we tried - the white Negroni and the Briscola stood out, but the classic cocktails were also exceptional (we liked the Vieux Carre and Manhattan). Loved Emanuele, the extremely friendly bartender. We would definitely come again in future trips to Courmayeur.

Nestled in the heart of Courmayeur, Le Vieux Pommier is a delightful family-run restaurant that exudes a cozy alpine charm. With its inviting ambiance and kid-friendly features like a dedicated children's menu, highchairs, and even a play area, it’s an ideal spot for families looking to enjoy a meal together. The restaurant also offers simple yet comfortable accommodations with 11 rooms located above the dining area and in an annex building—perfect for those seeking budget-friendly lodging.
A good place to come for dinner. The menu is pretty vast, covering local cuisine and some standard western fare. Wine is cheap too - a glass of local red (turned out to be 2 glasses because it came in a small carafe) was only €4. Am constantly amazed at how cheap wine is in Europe 😂. It's cheaper than bottled water in many places. Food is good and reasonably priced. Service is pretty efficient. However, they don't do takeaway ("sorry, this is not possible!" the waitress exclaimed while looking horrified at my request) so dining in is the only way to eat here.
Lisa C — Google review
The owner was very rude. I was very uncomfortable to hear her scolding her staff in front of guests, and she didn't treat her guests any better. I was looking forward to the food here and was very disappointed. It was inedible. We stayed for 2 nights, and I ended up eating somewhere else for every meal even though I had already paid and prearranged meals here. The servers were good, kind, and cheerful despite being publicly humiliated by their boss. The rooms were small but clean.
Lori L — Google review
Very nice restaurant near the center of Courmayeur. Lots of typical mountain dishes and some Italian pasta staples. Food was great but the service a little rough around the edges. Some of the more intriguing dishes require a two person minimum which is a shame if you can't get anyone in your party to join you. Prices are quite reasonable. Overall one of the better restaurants we tried in the town.
Yannick R — Google review
After waiting for them to open, 10 mins after their supposed opening I went to ask and was told very coldly the restaurant is full. Which it was not. We were the only ones waiting outside.
Jiri L — Google review
liked it but not more. Good location near the big parking garage. Has a certain romantic flair - but even though it was only beginning of August, staff felt sort of worn out. The chicken breast was ok, but it looked and tasted more like turkey...

Avoid at any cost..!! Food from the supermarket at a price of restaurant. Was a huge mistake to eat here.

The view from the restaurant was amazing! The staff was a little weird but funny, and the food was good! I wanted the venison but they had none, so i ordered the veal stew, very very good. If you like cheese try the raclette, very typical and fun to eat!

Delicious, great deal! Appetizer, starter and dessert for less than $25/per person. Had the sphagetti Bolognese for the appetizer and the veal cutlet with fontina bread for the entree. My friends and I absolutely loved it. The wine was amazing and affordable and the service was great! Do not skip this restaurant on your visit!

We came wanting pasta and tiramisu and both were amazing. Best tiramisu I have ever had! Friendly staff. We tried to book in the morning and they were full until 9pm. Still worth going at 9pm. So good

Right of the bat, the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff would cheerfully lead you to your table, inside or outside, their would be plenty of people. The food was amazing, even though the waiting time to order was a bit long, the food was definitely worth it. The four season pizza was amazing, along with their other great foods like the carbonara and their steak. The steak was perfectly spot on. The carbonara perfectly seasoned, and the four season pizza had for different toppings, including mushrooms, black olives in the middle, ham, and other more toppings. Great place in this small town. Would definitely recommend it.

Very Good Food! Top restaurant in Courmayeur. We were here for hiking and could not decide what to eat for our free day. After searching and walking around, we found out this restaurant with high review, thus we decided to give a try. The restaurant was so occupied when we arrived, and we didn’t expect to get our table so fast. Eventually we get the table in 10 minutes time. The boss is nice and friendly. Good: Yummy and super delicious. Service: Boss and staff are friendly. Food served very fast. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

My husband and I ate here twice. We are vegan and the server was very helpful in guiding us with what to order. We both got the vegetariana pizza without cheese and it was very tasty and filling! Definitely recommend this place for vegans!

The food and service were excellent, and I really appreciated that they were open for most of the day since most of the other restaurants in the area close from 2–7 pm, and when you're hungry, you're hungry, especially if you've been hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc. I went twice during my stay in Courmayeur.

Al Camin is a charming restaurant located outside the touristy area, offering an authentic and hospitable dining experience. The owners are known for their exceptional service and the comfortably elegant ambiance. The menu features genuinely authentic regional dishes such as tartare, fonduta, venison tagliatelle, and a delightful spin on traditional tira mi su. Visitors have praised the delicious food, reasonable prices, and warm atmosphere.
A wonderful little gem outside of the touristy section of town, that is so worth seeking out! The owners and service are extremely hospitable, the ambiance was comfortably elegant and welcoming, and the food served was a genuinely authentic representation of the region’s culinary talent. I highly recommend the tartare, the fonduta, and the venison tagliatelle, and their spin on the traditional tira mi su was divine.

We're thinking maybe the chef had a night off because this was a poor meal. Supposedly all pasta was the finest home made , not sure who's home it was made in but they certainly forgot to add sauce to the mince for the sugo and it looked anemic. (See image). A limited menu but still the dishes that were served were well below par. Service was enthusiastic with a free bottle of wine (that was pretty good) and what appeared to be an Amuse-bouche delivered just prior to the very large tin of salt. Which unfortunately could not save the lack of flavour in the poor food..

We were here 10 years ago and it was amazing. Such great memories and we couldn’t wait to get back. Meat cooking on stone, after-dinner drinks, etc.. not even on the menu now… Now, today, the owner was unwelcoming and appeared angry. Fussing over his books in the middle of the restaurant. The waitress was pleasant, but appeared scared of the owner. The food was good as expected, (not great) but no more stone cooked meat and whole shrimp as I remembered. I guess there was a fire here?????? That was the excuse I was given by the owner. I figured I’d give him the benefit of the doubt and approached him. I explained my frustration that he was causing a “not very welcoming vibe.” Anyway, good luck and we appreciate a great restaurant in this beautiful ski town. Sometimes a little self reflection helps. Maybe go back to the jovial days of welcoming guests with laughter and good vibes. That’s much more than good food will ever give you. Oh yeah, and we were one of two parties in the entire restaurant, and the owner decided to make his best seats his personal office space. I normally don’t give reviews like this at all, but we were so excited. Sorry, do better.

Absolutely amazing!! We had dinner here on Saturday and ended up canceling our reservations for the following night and coming back a second time. Everything we ordered was delicious. The second time we came we brought a group of friends with us including their kids. They made special plates for the kids and were very welcoming.

We chose this restaurant because it was off the ‘main drag’ and it also had an outside eating area. The waiter was very attentive; nothing was too much trouble. In fact the chef came out to chat also. We had a variety of pizzas and pasta dishes; all delicious with good quality ingredients. A nice atmosphere with families and couples both local and foreign enjoying the food and the ambiance. Reasonable prices also. We’ve already decided to go to this restaurant again in favour of others we’ve frequented when we next visit Courmayeur. Well done and keep up the good work!

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, Le Privé boasts a warm atmosphere and friendly staff who serve up some of the best aperitivi in town at reasonable prices. The beginning of November. The season has not started yet. This bar was one of the few that was opened. I liked the atmosphere, even tho I was there almost alone and my complements to the staff (the owner tried to make for me the cocktail I would love.. and he did excelent job😊). The other staff was incredible professional and nice too :)

We found our experience somewhat disappointing. Our waitress was not friendly after she misheard our order and had to return with the correct drink. There was also an annoying smell from insence sticks which overruled our senses from the good cocktails.

(Translated by Google) But what is this thing? This question will come to you as soon as you set foot in the "place", if you can call it that. €20 entry (obviously without a tax receipt, and a good check would be in order here, I was there near the cash desk for 10 minutes and I didn't see a scrap of the receipt, in short...) after 02:00, you are given by the unprofessional and highly boastful staff (especially the boy with the rolex hat who acts like a real joker) a nice card with the word "drink" written on it, and so far so good, without considering the fact of being in summer and the average internal temperature of 30 degrees. You approach the ugly and dirty counter to get your beautiful "drink" at the beginning of the evening and you discover the best scam of the evening, drink for them means shot... and at that point you have two options or interact with whoever is at the reception, but you will have few successes dealing with kids who are just over 18 and still don't understand the existence of the "consumer's right of withdrawal" or you will limit yourself to convincing kids at the bar to give you at least one beer. Once everything is finished and with the cloth starting to fall down to your knees you hope to listen to good music at least... but you are deluded by a riot of "notes" placed at random, children still far from being able to register for a driving license almost getting into fights for having accidentally stepped on their white shoes or to make themselves "pretty" in front of the girls, a horrifying sight. Do you have a smoker in your company? Don't worry, you have a poorly ventilated tunnel at your disposal where thousands of burini crowd together to take a few puffs of a cigarette. And there, in addition to the patch due to the lack of air conditioning, you will also have your dress covered in cigarette smell. What can I say, an evening of tax evasion, tourist scams and filth. Oh and if you come by car I recommend parking it as far away from the venue as possible, children like to break rear windows and other things on cars parked outside. First experience obviously negative in its entirety. That evening unfortunately the Club House '80s was closed otherwise if it is open go there (if you are over 25). Prima esperienza ovviamente negativa in toto. Quella sera purtroppo il Club House '80s era chiuso altrimenti se aperto andate li (se avete più di 25 anni).

Nestled in the heart of Courmayeur, Gran Baita Hotel & Wellness Resort is a charming alpine property perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway. The hotel boasts a luxurious wellness center with sauna, indoor and outdoor heated pools, relaxation area, and various treatment options. For those desiring more privacy, the executive double rooms feature exclusive outdoor private pools.
The hotel was really good! The building is a bit old and in some things it shows, but its definitely enough if you are not expecting some crazy luxury resort! The spa had a very nice pool and a sauna and a steam bath. I loved the saunas but the normal sauna could’ve been a bit warmer to my preference. The guy at the poolside service was super nice and funny! The breakfast and dinner were also very nice and the staff was always kind and very helpful. What I didnt like was that dinner didn’t have vegetarian options on the menu and they had to be ordered separately and were like omelettes or something. I definitely recommend this hotel!

This hotel stay was part of a Motorrad bike tour and it was excellent throughout. The hotel location is in a beautiful position looking toward the side of stunning Mont Blanc. The interior of the bar was full of skiing paraphernalia which made a very quirky interesting area. The bedroom was very comfortable and spacious and even during very warm weather we were given fans to keep us cool. A special mention must be made about the staff who were so professional and worked hard to keep everyone happy. The barman never stopped and was extremely attentive to our requests. Reception staff were very helpful, also quick to help. Restaurant staff made us feel special and did everything they could to make our meals perfect. I can’t fault the Gran Baita and would highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. We enjoyed the quiet rooms, the attentive front desk, the decor and the pool/gardens. We had dinner and breakfast in the dining room each day. The dining room staff were delightful, although some additional training could be provided to ensure all the details are covered off. I humbly acknowledge my lack of Italian language requires I speak English. Nonetheless, on three occasions our coffee orders were incorrect - twice the decaf order was served as caffeinated. Three of us had massages - to mixed satisfaction. These are minor things. I would certainly stay here again.
Clive D — Google review
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and full of character, with rustic décor. However, it's too pricey for what it actually offers, and there's a constant feeling of being overcharged. A panaché (beer mixed with Sprite) costs €8 :/ The spa is okay but not outstanding – it's not adults-only, so relaxing is limited, and it's not a textile-free zone. Overall, the experience feels overpriced for what you get.

After finishing the tour de mont blanc we arrived to the Gran Baita. The staff were welcoming and friendly, they fed us delicious high class food and made exquisite cocktails. When I'm next in Courmayeur I would definitely swing by for a drink and a swim in the pool. The room was spacious and lovely also.

Tom N — Google review
I’m going to be completely honest! On arrival to this hotel, even though it was 2am in the morning ,we were greeted by the most amazing staff. Check in was easy and the lovely Pietri (Peter) invited us to the bar for a well deserved drink after being delayed. He advised us that a cold platter of food was in our room.. The room itself was amazing, the most comfortable beds and pillows. Our first 5 days were great, skiing am, using the spa and being totally relaxed in the lounge area before dining with the most attentive staff, Alexander and Demetri, along with the very hard working members of the hotel. Oh, how things can change!!!! Suddenly, the hotel was taken over by a corporate group of, no less than 98 guests. Had these 98 people been smaller groups, families or even able to control themselves, all would be fine…. But… NO. They proceeded to shout over one another, leave coats, helmets etc on the floor of the the lounge areas and then proceed to do the same in the restaurant. Even changing the time they dined to suit themselves. The most annoying part was when they returned in their drunken loud state, anywhere from 1.20 am until 4am. Shouting, laughing, slamming doors, running from room to room, hollowing over balconies and generally being unruly!!!!! Don’t get me wrong, everyone likes a laugh and giggle but they literally had zero respect for other guests, some of which had children! Disgusting behaviour and although the night porter did is best to calm them in my opinion , as well as other guests, we should have been warned that these corporate groups are visiting, especially the amount of them. I have emailed the manager but he seems to think all of this is acceptable, I guess as long as his hotel is fully booked, he doesn’t care

We absolutely love this quaint restaurant. The food is amazing. The salmon was delicious but the real stand out is the Mediaeval ball of meat. It’s so much fun to see the presentation and it comes with different sauces to dip the meat into. The meat was very tender. My kids loved the ribs which seem to be only on the winter menu. The staff is lovely and I highly recommend Judith to anyone visiting.

Aurel L — Google review
I don't write reviews often. Regardless of whether the experience is good or questionable, I tell the staff directly and hope they take action. But Judith Brasserie was our absolute saddest dinner during our stay in Courmayeur and at the same time the highest priced. With a long professional background from top-tier restaurants, I can honestly say that the food is acceptable at best, but lacking in many details and in no way commensurate with the high price level. Pork Shin, for example, was cooked a couple of hours too short and not a pleasant affair. Menu descriptions are misleading and the wine list is short and unimaginative. In addition, our desired bottle of wine was not available, but instead only a more expensive variant. Service is in the low middle class, stressed and with too much focus on revenue and customer flow. Why even suggest and insist on a dessert order 10 minutes before we are asked to pay and leave the place? Perhaps the saddest thing is that despite our hesitation to do so, when we leave feedback we are met with counter-arguments that we really don't know anything about Italian cooking and that we should have known about all the time restrictions surrounding our visit. Overall a bad and expensive experience in an otherwise nice village with many other restaurants well worth visiting.

Bar Le Dahu is a lovely, well-chosen selection of regional and national wines, cocktails, and light bites. Expect to pay around 10 Euros for a cocktail here. The service is quick and efficient. There's a generous plate of drinks to accompany your aperitivo.
A charming restaurant in the center of Courmayeur, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made it a great choice for a cool evening. We opted to dine outdoors and enjoyed a tuna salad and spaghetti with cherry tomatoes from their menu. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome. It was a lovely evening spent in a delightful setting.

Decent enough food and service, but me oh my are these guys charging absurd prices. In what universe is a coke €6?? Insult to injury with the €3/person Coperto and €5 for flat water (we were not asked on size or quoted price). Maybe our fault being in the more touristy area, staff and food were nice enough so if money’s no object give it a shot. If you’re a fellow monetary mortal look elsewhere.

If you're looking for a cozy and friendly spot to enjoy delicious crepes made with local ingredients, look no further than Petit Bistrot Crêperie. This charming eatery offers a wide selection of sweet and savory crepes, as well as salads, antipasti, and pasta. The staff is known for being super friendly and helpful in guiding your choice from the extensive menu.
Delicious food, lovely staff, great atmosphere. We really loved it here. I’m surprised by some of the other reviews. I think some people don’t take into account that it’s a bistro not a fancy restaurant, and it’s so small that they can only survive if there’s a high turnover of clients or people are continuing to eat/drink while they take up table space. It’s not fair to spend hours if you’re not spending the money. As for waiting outside, I didn’t love that but again it’s so small that they need a system for moving people in and out of tables without inhibiting the serving staff.

Tourist trap! The waiter offered few options that weren’t on the menu, saying those were the “dish of the day.” Sounded like a good option, but she never mentioned the price. We assumed it would be within the range of the menu — the highest price listed was €16. But when the bill came, all those "dish of the day" were €20 moreover they were the size of the starter rather than a "dish". Amazing how they lure customers with all these "special offers" being in fact 25% more than the highest price in the menu!

Amazing fresh crepe with loads of topping options. Not open for inside seating all the time but we visited when closed and he was serving takeaway through the window/hatch which was great.

Very charming place and staff and good crepes. Felt very local and Italian. I will definitely go back when I am in Courmayeur!

The place was really nice and cosy, they offer delicious crêpe. The waiter helped us to choose our crêpe based on our taste, and the service was fast. Prices are good. you can go as family, couple, teenagers groups or old people, it's actually for all, and worth a try! I recommend.

Extremely unpolite, vulgar and aggressive with clients and kids. The owner should not be dealing with clients and should be refrained from interacting with kids due to his bad manners and aggressivness. He also treats his staff badly. A toxic athmosphere.

Super yummy crêpes with local products, huge choice of ingredients (sweet and savoury). Cozy and friendly atmosphere. Just be aware, the place is super small, I you might need to wait to get a seat. However, take away is available. Recommended!

La Luge is a versatile spot that opened its doors three years ago, offering a variety of experiences from a burger joint to a pub and cocktail bar. The concept was born out of the desire to provide quick yet delicious meals, resulting in the creation of their signature hamburgers. Visitors can expect high-quality burgers made on-site using local ingredients from the Valley. Despite its informal setting, La Luge surprises diners with exceptional food and drinks, including locally sourced wine and beer.
We didn’t expect that our simple dinner would turn out to be so good and is one of the best burgers we’ve had so far. Story time, we were supposed to have a dinner in a nice restaurant to celebrate my husband bday, but we decided to celebrate it the next day as he was not feeling 100% well so we decided to walk around and see how it goes, then ended up here as most of the restaurants are closed and close early we got 2 burgers a fries and a beer. The meat is great you can taste that it is pure meat with no extenders, beer is so nice too but the fries turned out to be too salty (maybe next time ask to put less salt) but definitely recommend and if given a chance to go back in Courmayeur will definitely come back here for a meal.

Avoid !! éviter!! This is not a case of a bad busy night or a server being grumpy, just dreadful ingredients being cooked really badly. With poor service. There’s no kids menu that’s fine we were offered chicken and chips, we were pleased and thankful for them being accommodating. What then came was 2 huge portions of utter rubbish, thin huge bits of dry chicken like four pieces of crap from the bottom of a freezer piled high, kids are 1 and 3 for perspective, we were then charged €27 for these two meals, €35 if you include the tap water and the syrup. Think about that €35 to feed a 1 year old and a 3 year old with water and grenadine to drink. In all sincerity had I been held up at gun point and robbed of €35 it would have constituted better value. As more work and thought would have gone into it and at least I’d have a story. Adults burger badly cooked, not seasoned, bread was stale, like take the top off the bun stale. Weirdly the servers constantly tried to clear plates. Chips are served in a bowl and burgers on a side plate I ate my burger then was dipping chips as I tried to coax the kids to eat. Three times they tried to take my plate that had chips and ketchup on it. The place was quiet they didn’t need or want the table back. I cannot fathom why they kept trying. The service was annoying but wasn’t a big problem, this is like complaining the white wine was warm on the Titanic, still not good but bigger problems going on. Honestly should have complained but was just too tired and if you’ve ever been to a place like this what’s the point in complaining - I made this account to write the review. The picture is of the kids chicken. Eat anywhere else

Saw the banner with the thick burger on it and was intrigued; saw the reviews and was hungry; visited for dinner and was satisfied. The burgers were thick and filled to the brim with ingredients, and the buns were fluffy and soft. We shared 3 burgers amongst 3 people and they filled us well! We could choose the doneness of the beef patties too, and we throughly enjoyed our dinner at the joint. The service staff were helpful and attentive to our needs as well. Recommended for a visit if you're spending a day in Courmayeur whilst hiking the TMB.

The wine (Syrah), wagyu burgers, and summer salad were phenomenal. Hiked all day and this was definitely one of our favorite spots during our two week trek. Also, GREAT music from all over during dinner. Grazie! Ps. The owners and staff are some of the nicest, hardest, working people we have met! Something we miss seeing a lot of back is the USA.

Not the greatest service but quite reasonable prices, given the area. It was an ok burger, challenging to eat without making a mess, but it was fairly tasty.

Avoid, service is non existant, had to wait for 10 minutes before the waiter acknowledged my presence, then I have waited 15+ minutes for her to come and take my order. The place was not busy so I went to a restaurant next door and had a good steak 😂

Nestled just a minute away from your hotel, Ristorante Aria is the perfect spot to unwind after a long journey through planes, trains, and buses. This charming dining room offers a taste of traditional northern Italian cuisine paired with exquisite Vallée d'Aoste regional wines. Arriving around 8:30 PM might find you in an empty restaurant, but that’s simply the Italian way—dinner is typically enjoyed later here!
My favourite restaurant in Courmayeur after trying many of the well rated, highly recommended restaurants by locals. The Italian food selection is outstanding. Every item was highly enjoyable. Service by their immaculately dressed service staff was sterling good. Restaurant Aria also has an outstanding selection of wines, 50+ pages in their electronic wine list. Coupled with a restaurant owner who is clearly a very experienced wine enthusiast, we could pick out some real gems to go with the food. Would strongly recommend this restaurant as a must try, well ahead of the other restaurants who somehow (no idea why) have higher Google ratings. It's the only place we came back twice on our Tour Du Mont Blanc journey.
Alan G — Google review
Very cozy place. Super warm atmosphere, we were attended on time and no waiting time. The food was served in good timing and the prices are good for the quality. We ordered the eel which I founded really tasty and well presented. The pasta was not really special as we were trying the recommendation of the house but they mixed which is a traditional way of making pasta with tomato sauce and we would have preferred the original version (but just our opinion). The beef was well cooked. We liked the idea that they serve you on the house a light starter that was made with calamari. Very tasty. Thanks for the experience.

A nice upscale restaurant if you're looking for a quiet place with nice ambiance to have a meal with friends. Not so much for big families and kids IMHO. The food was good, so was the wine (they weren't kidding about the encyclopedia of wine choices they have available). But as far as food goes, there are other better options in town. Service is very good though.

The restaurant is a bit fancy and pricy, but food was very good. Beef tartar was ok (missing some taste, we added salt and olive oil), shrimp risotto was good and the pork on mashed potatos was lovely. Service was efficient.

We waited 20min before we were able to order. My girlfriend asked for a 12€ nicoise salad - the only item on the menu that she could have eaten due to her coeliac disease - without tuna: this would have been a simple green salad with eggs olives and tomatoes. Answer from the kitchen was “sorry our salads are pre-made and we cannot make adjustments”. Two take-aways: 1) not preparing a 3-ingredients salad to-order is plain unacceptable in any restaurant; 2) meals are prepared hours before they get served to customers, which is disgusting.

American bar in Savoie. This glamorous cocktail lounge has been the hotel bar of choice for famous faces including Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe since opening in 1889. Drinks are served by smart waiters in jackets and ties, and the pianist plays a child-glorious night every night. (Translated by Google) We ate really well. Good portions, excellent combinations of flavors and textures. Attentive, helpful and kind staff. My first impression is a bit high but, considering the quality, fully justified. To limit the outlay, pay attention to the price per glass of the wines. A bottle is certainly worth it, even if you lose the possibility of looking for the ideal wine/dish pairing by changing the glass with each course. For the rest, nothing really to say. Nice experience. (Original) Abbiamo mangiato davvero molto bene. Bella esperienza.

Bar
Cafè des Guides is a recommended spot for those seeking a cozy place to enjoy their morning coffee. The ambiance is pleasant, and the bartender is genuinely friendly. The prices for espresso and cappuccino are reasonable at $1.50 and $2 respectively. However, it's important to note that this establishment isn't a fancy, high-end restaurant with white-gloved waiters. It's more of a relaxed café-bar setting.
Definitely place to go if you’re looking for a place to sit for morning coffee. Great atmosphere, the guy at the bar is very friendly and authentic. We paid 1.50€ for espresso and 2€ for cappuccino. Don’t expect waiter with white gloves on, it’s a nice caffè place and a bar not a 2 Michelin star restaurant. Whoever was at work on 21.06 has a great music choice 😃

Stopped in for beer on way to dinner. 1 small and 1 medio draft. 12 euro. Should have been 8-9 euro. No receipt given like every other place. I ask 12 euro really. He is yes 12 euro. He pockets the 3-4 euro in his pocket. It’s the principle not the amount. Only bad experience in courmayer which is beautiful town. At our hotel bar with live music glasses of good French wine were 6 euro.

Avoid at all costs: no menu provided (which is illegal in Italy) and then the Spritz with two old olives 12 TWELVE euros. Absurd: the view is fantastic but there’s a second bar in the square, and frankly the public benches are perfectly fine. As stupid as prices in Courmayeur can be, this spritz is definitely unforgivable. Not even in Venice…

Nestled in the heart of Courmayeur, Club Haus 80's Mont Blanc stands out as a cozy and accessible nightlife spot. This intimate venue is part of a successful brand that has made waves in various cities. With an eclectic mix of music ranging from nostalgic 80s hits to contemporary house beats, it promises an unforgettable night out. The friendly staff, including security and bartenders, ensure a welcoming atmosphere while serving up excellent drinks.
Please look for Anni's bar to find this place which has no signs! I read other reviews and was initially worried but we got there on a Saturday night at 23:30 and the place was packed. As Time moved on the place got more and more packed and we also noticed there were a group of Brazilian girls That Danced amazing. Lots of people that were drunk but in a very good way and not in a bad way the service was what you expect in a packed dance bar where you have to scream and make sure the bartender sees you. If you are coming with girls you might go in for free if you're just boys they might be asking you for money in the entrance. You will get a private table if you buy a bottle of alcohol for 300 euros. We had lots of fun but the average age is around 30. I recommend this place if you want a couple hours of dancing before going to sleep or to pick up girls... The man that was in the entrance was awesome! I asked him his name to write in the review he said Republic Courmayeur which I don't get but maybe someone will understand 🤷‍♂️... Thank you 80's club! we had a great night!

Caffè della Posta is a rustic outpost in Courmayeur known for its dark-wood decor and cozy ambiance. It's a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, offering a variety of drinks from coffee to wine, along with light snacks and aperitivos. The café is well-loved as an après-ski destination, where visitors can relax by the open fire with delicious snacks after a day on the slopes.
I went there just last week and it was so cozy have my drink next to the fireplace. The atmosphere is dreamy and the service , let me say, exceeded my expectations in terms of kindness.. all of them professional and yet friendly. If you can reserve a seat don’t miss this place

Shrinkflation in action - bombardino from December 2023 and December 2024. Change of ownership since last year and some obvious changes that are not an improvement. Too bad, since it was a nice place for aprés ski at a reasonable price but not anymore.

This might just be my favourite little bar ever. The front is more formal with round table and chairs with the main bar and out the back you’ve got more soft seating with coffee tables. The cocktail menu is sublime with 5 star service. A perfect bar to relax in after a day skiing (or not!)

Not the cheapest espresso in the area, but possibly the nicest. Pretty cafe, and coffee arrived with tiny meringues and cinnamon biscuits. The staff were very friendly, and explained a little about the history of the building. A lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Everything seemed very clean — my only disappointment was there were lots of flies. I think perhaps flies are a feature of the Aosta valley in the summer.

Delicious destination. Good food and very good staff. They have so many amazing local wines.
Mitch S — Google review
Very cozy place with extra tables and big fireplace in the back. Friendly staff and very good aperitivo and sandwiches. Really good the sandwich with bresaola and cream of rucola and the one with turkey.
Marco G — Google review
Very beautiful and historical caffè in the heart of Courmayeur. The only negative aspect are the prices which are very expensive, considering the average Italian price for coffee and croissant (probably to be expected in Courmayeur).

Amazing welcome didn’t expect so many choices of aperitif with our Aperol Spritz!! Many thanks / Grazie!!

Espresso bar
Bar
Zillo's Bar Paninoteca, located at the beginning of the pedestrian street in Copurmayeur after piazza Brocherel, offers a charming ambiance and warm atmosphere. This establishment was a convenient choice for visitors during a holiday period when limited options were available for lunch. While the bruschetta lacked flavor and was rather dull, the coffee and attentive service made up for it.
The best crème café!
Silver B — Google review
We were in the city during a holiday so this was the only place open that served food at lunch. The bruschetta was a disappointment as it had very little flavor and was quite bland, but the coffee and the service made up for it. We were a big group and they did their best to serve us all in a timely fashion.

Seems like a nice place but charged us 10 Euro for two half glasses of vino caldo. Can't help feeling that we were ripped off.

The waiter was absolutely terrible, the food don’t even mention it, looks like it rotten, don’t waste your time and money

(Translated by Google) We went for lunch without a reservation. This restaurant, which doesn't look so good from the outside, surprised us inside. There was a lot of wine choice and a good menu. We ordered Chianti and red wine, a warm cheese salad and meat tartare for starters. Both the warm cheese salad and tartare were quite good. Then for the main course, we ordered risotto and sliced steak. The sliced steak was very well cooked with rosemary and bay leaves. The wine I ordered was very nice, there are usually no problems with the wines of the Tuscan region. You can definitely try it. Kesinlikle deneyebilirsiniz.

Bar
Cafè des Alpinistes is a beautiful bar located at the base of Mont Blanc, within the stunning Skyway surroundings. The modern decor and cleanliness create a welcoming atmosphere, complemented by attentive and friendly staff. The menu offers a variety of options including cafeteria drinks, sandwiches, and daily dishes. A must-try is their potato rosti, which can be enhanced with different ingredients like mortadella and burrata.
(Translated by Google) This bar at the foot of the Skyway is very comfortable! The brioches are delicious, buttery like the French ones, and the staff is friendly. At a bar with less then 10 tables they have 5 (five!!) servants, all barricaded behind their bar not serving the tables. So I sit here scratch my head doing nothing and killing time before the cable car comes. While they do nothing and waste their bosses money. Well done.

(Translated by Google) Good lunch at high altitude You can book the restaurant but going in the low season we still managed to find a seat at peak time. It works as self-service: there are various dishes that you can add to the tray and pay at the end. The choice is quite limited but still satisfies all types of tastes: polenta with the possibility of adding wild boar or sausage or mushrooms, agnolotti with ragù, vegetable soup, Aosta Valley soup, tasting of cheeses or cured meats accompanied by potatoes, deer carpaccio etc. the portions are not very generous but neither are the prices considering that you eat at high altitude. the location is spectacular with a wide view of the mountain ridge with the possibility of accessing the terrace. The staff is very kind and helpful, you don't pay a cover charge but you are still provided with bread. We had a Valle d'Aosta soup, a quiche with trout, a cheese tasting and a portion of agnolotti, with a water, two Coca-Colas and two coffees we spent €63. All quite good but certainly not noteworthy however precisely The location and the position make the experience very special for which I would recommend it.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful bar set in the wonderful context of the Skyway at the foot of Mont Blanc. Modern furnishings and a sense of cleanliness everywhere. The staff is smart and always ready to please the customer. The menu is varied and includes not only the cafeteria but also sandwiches and dishes of the day. I recommend trying their potato rösti, which depending on availability is enriched with various ingredients, we tried it with mortadella and burrata on top, very good indeed!

(Translated by Google) The restaurant is cheating on its prices. The menu lists an Aperol Spritz for €6, but in reality, the cashier charges €10. Furthermore, it was the worst Aperol I drank on my entire vacation. (Original) Restauracja oszukuje na cenach. Na karcie menu Aperol Spritz kosztuje 6€, a w rzeczywistości kasjerka kasuje 10€.
