Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Yosemite National Park

Came on a Monday after a hike, later in the afternoon around 4, which I think helped make it less busy. We kept it simple and only ordered one pizza, choosing pepperoni and splitting it between all of us. The pepperonis were a bit crispy too, and had additional seasonings on top, which made them really tasty. I did notice a few people with more festive, extravagant pizza toppings, but the pepperoni was delicious, and thankfully, none of us got sick, as I read some people did on reviews! The Vernal Falls hike was much longer than expected, with a Mist Trail detour that made it even longer, so we were all glad to get the food quickly with no issues, and we ate inside the food court vs outside because it was hotter, and fewer tables were available.

Their pizzas are delicious — we tried the veggie one and absolutely loved it. You can enjoy your pizza with a drink either outside or in the large indoor cafeteria. Inside, you’ll also find a variety of sauces, and the place feels warm and cozy. Also if you sit outside crows and squirrels will come around to take their share. And yes… beware of Bear No. 37!

I went to Yosemite last July. The line was long at 7-ish on Monday evening, and it indeed moved fast. The waiting for the food took about half an hour. The medium size of a fresh Half Dome was delicious and perfect for two women having small stomachs. We weren’t able to finish it and brought a half for the next-day breakfast. When we heated it up on the grill in the morning, it tasted great and the topping was still crispy! This pizza place is a must if you are visiting in Yosemite!

The pizzas were delicious but quite oily. We had to wait around 1 hr from starting the line until getting the pizza. Probably 20-30 min of waiting for waiting after ordering, good thing they give you a buzzer and it will let you know when it’s ready. Not many tables to sit and can be quite loud depending on how crowded curry village is

This pizza is absolutely delicious! It really surpasses many of the other brands out there. We chose to order online ahead of time to avoid the long wait, and it made the experience much more enjoyable.

Walk-up pizza. Nice deck seating if you can find something available. More seating inside. Mixed green salad was good but had a lot of kale. Large pizza have everyone in family at least one slice. There were pie pans by menu board to give example. We got half all meat option and half bacon pineapple.

My son Alex said this pizza is better than Disneyland pizza - and he's right! We tried the Mother Curry and Half Dome pizzas and everything tasted so fresh. Ordering was super easy and the views of Glacier Point while eating made it even better. You can tell they make everything fresh - not like most tourist places that serve frozen stuff. We come here every time we visit Yosemite now. The outdoor deck is perfect for families and the pizza actually tastes great. Hard to find good food in the park but this place nails it. If I could give 100 stars I would! Don't skip this spot when you're in Yosemite.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We went to The Awahnee Dining Room as a family of 6 on two separate occasions. LOVED the experience. For breakfast we opted for the al la carte menu and we can say everything tasted really good except for the French Toast that was more on the soggy side. The steel cut oats and trio mushroom, avocado and salmon on toast was a big hit. Angeline was incredible super cheerful and friendly. On average each plate was around ~20 dollars per pax before tip with generous portions. For dinner we had the dinner buffet. Although the selection was smaller than anticipated we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The highlight was the prime rib which was not chewy and the salad was to die for. We received great service yet again from Shannon and Marcus who were enthusiastic and attentive. Shannon even provided us recommendations for which route to take back to sf. There was live piano music which adds to the atmosphere.

Great hotel and the architecture with its history is wonderful. Loved the hospitality at the restaurant. Ordered for Salmon. It was very tasty and juicy. Kids loved the Chicken tenders. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Yosemite area.

I recently had dinner at the Ahwahnee Dining Room and while the night overall was memorable, it was thanks largely to the stunning atmosphere and the great company I was with. The grandeur of the historic hotel truly sets a tone of elegance and charm—the high ceilings, classic decor, and timeless beauty of the space made it feel special. However, a few elements detracted from the experience. While we dressed for the occasion, it was disappointing to see that the dress code was not consistently enforced. The lack of formality at many nearby tables took away from the sophisticated ambiance that the venue naturally provides. As for the food, it was unfortunately underwhelming. It wasn’t bad, but it lacked depth of flavor and the menu was more limited than I expected for such a renowned location. Service was another area that didn’t meet the mark. Our waitress was kind and genuinely tried her best, but it was clear she was under stress—likely a result of being understaffed, which seemed to be a theme across the room. The setting is truly one-of-a-kind and worth experiencing, but I hope the dining and service elements rise to meet the surroundings in future visits.

The room is beautiful and service was ok. What really disappointed was the food. We ordered 2 burgers cooked medium. The burgers were overcooked but the worst was that the fries were served completely cold and mushy. In a hotel of this level how can’t they even get a burger with fries right?

What can I say, I was so looking forward to dinner in the beautiful dining room having booked many months in advance. The room, stunning, our waitress efficient, courteous & engaging, piano player provided a pleasant atmosphere. The food however was quite an opposite story. Unremarkable & underwhelming start with the bread basket. Dry rolls & lacking in quality & freshness that you would expect for $8. French onion soup & salad fine but nothing spectacular. Main course of prime rib & hanger steak came out cold initially. Potatoes severally undercooked. When the meal was returned, came back having been obviously placed under a heat lamp. Yorkshire pudding burnt on top, steak recooked to well done & potatoes dry & hard. At $62 & $54 again I expected so much better. The best part of the meal was the glass of wine which indeed was delicious! Whilst the manager reduced the bill by taking off the coat of bread & soup & offered a dessert, it just didn't recover the night.

I read all of the reviews about how bad the food is so we decided to eat here for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The dining room is magnificent. It looks like the dining hall in the Harry Potter movies. The views from the huge windows are stunning. We had the salmon, burger, french dip sandwich, cauliflower appetizer and stuffed mushrooms. The salmon was good and the burger and french dip were decent. The cauliflower was actually very good, with dates, honey, and chili flakes. The mushrooms were bland. The service was ok. The waitstaff are nice enough but they make some mistakes and aren’t really professional. But it wasn’t bad enough to ruin the experience. I think that lunch is the way to go. It’s less expensive and you can enjoy the views outside. It was one of the highlights of our visit. If you’re not staying at the hotel plan to pay $10 for parking or take the shuttle from the welcome center. It’s a long walk from the village.

The setting is absolutely stunning—the dining room feels like something out of Harry Potter’s Great Hall or Beauty and the Beast. High timbered ceilings, stone walls, candle-like chandeliers, and live piano music set a magical atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. Despite the fine-dining prices, the buffet menu was underwhelming and poorly executed. Most dishes lacked flavor, and the desserts were simply bad. It was quite disheartening, especially considering the grandeur of the place. Another downside was the inconsistent service. While some of the waitstaff were professional and attentive, others seemed undergroomed and unprepared, which detracted from the overall experience. If it weren’t for the charming piano music, this would have been a zero-star experience for me. I truly hope they improve the food—it wouldn’t take much, given how low the bar currently is. I came in with high expectations, and sadly, the meal didn’t come close to matching the setting.

Great food, great service, nice surroundings. Pricey, but food quality and preparation were excellent. Nice folks, clean area. Halibut and steak were excellent. Stella on draft a plus. Make a reservation!

Pricey but reasonable for the location. We enjoyed the wagyu burger and lamb chops. Dining room was fairly empty on a Monday night so food came out within 30 minutes. Unfortunately our server lost our credit card walking back to the station and just assumed we didn’t give him a card, so we sat waiting for 10 minutes wondering why he brought the check back. He hardly apologized when he finally realized and never ended up finding the card.

The food with its presentation will pleasantly surprise you. Compliments to the chef. This is fine dining in the Valley. Dinner reservations are absolutely necessary. Service was inconsistent. It depended greatly on the server.

We dined here twice during our stay in Yosemite and both times were pretty awesome. The first time I had the burger and it was probs the best burger I've had in a long time...juicy, well-seasoned, perfectly cooked. The second time we were there for our wedding anniversary so we both got the 10 oz filet mignon. Again, perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, very delish. And the mashed potatoes that came with it were amazing. We're about to have the cheesecake for dessert, but I'm sure it won't disappoint. Definitely come here at least once if you're going to be staying in the park. Well worth it!!

Service was terrible - and food was also. We had a female waitress (no name tags so we can’t figure out what her name was but she mentioned she’s a nomad that works around areas from Tahoe to Yosemite and climbs). Literally had the worst service of our entire time - could not do dressing on the side for a salad. Asked for no syrup in a mocktail (can’t do that either). Asked for ribs and was not available, only for the table next to us to get ribs. She gave us some excuse. This is absolutely unacceptable. YVL do better. Train your staff. Food was also really really sad for what you pay for. Go to the cafeteria next time.

Ordered a ribeye steak at medium cook, but got a well-done instead, and my partner’s pan roasted halibut was dry. Our waiter was very kind and got me a medium cook steak, which tasted really good and just cooked right, after I showed him the first one he served. Not sure if this is a fine dining restaurant but the prices are. There are limited selection of wine, beer, and cocktail but good ones. I would have rated this restaurant 3-star, but because of our waiter, I gave a 4-star.

I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. It was dense and tasteless, liking chewing rubber, only the roll was satisfactory. The prices are reasonable but the quality of the food is utterly unacceptable. It’s best to just bring cold sandwiches and salads (in a large cooler) from home or purchase these items from a local deli as you drive to the Park.

Base Camp Eatery is in Yosemite Valley. To order your food you have to use the kiosk. There are many options to choose from. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich. It tasted good, but was expensive. All food in Yosemite is expensive. Plenty of seating in the dining area.

The only place to eat at yosemite Valley so your options are somewhat limited to whats on offer at that time. Place is packed with tourist and hikers and is loud with limited seats and tables. We got the pizza and cheeseburger and I'd have to say this was the safest options. Pizza was good tasting and the cheeseburger no complaints. No cash, card only for payment

While staying at the Yosemite Valley Lodge we had breakfast at the Base Camp Eatery. This is a cafeteria style restaurant right in the Lodge common area (near the lodge main office). We walked the short distance to the Eatery where there was a small line. You place your order at electronic kiosks with a number of options for the morning meal, and for most items on the menu you can customize your order. They also serve dinner and lunch but we enjoyed those meals at other locations in the Valley. After you place your order - and pay for it at the kiosk - you receive a receipt with your order number. The kitchen staff prepares your meal and calls your number. My wife and I ordered the same thing our first morning, the Breakfast Bundle. We both often for Bacon (pork sausage was the other option) which was served with scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes. 

My wife found a table while I wanted for our food (at certain times, an indoor table can be elusive - she found one in just a few minutes). We were both pleased with our meal. The scrambled eggs and potatoes were seasoned well and the bacon had minimal gristle. There was ample serving for a reasonable price - especially knowing we were deep inside a National Park. They do serve coffee but we splurged and ordered Mocha Latte from Starbucks which is next door. On our second morning we wanted a lighter breakfast as we had plans for a bigger lunch that day. We ordered two Yogurt parfait with a side order of two pastries. It was a good sized container with greek style yogurt - with added blueberries and strawberries. I also selected one fruit danish and one chocolate croissant. Once again,. we both enjoyed our orders. I appreciate having a quality meal available in such a convenient location in the park with reasonable prices. I did note several bad reviews and it looks like it's related to lunch or dinner meals.

One of my favorite eateries here for the convenience. Large indoor seating, ordering kiosks, and amenities nearby as apart of the lodge. Cell service here is also decent

Any place in Yosemite gets 5 stars for the atmosphere, it's absolutely beautiful. The food here isn't anything special but it's solid for what it is, a little on the expensive side (which is a trend for everywhere in Yosemite). Overall it's a good spot to stop for a quick lunch in the park.

Huge space, easy kiosk to order from, and pretty fresh selection of dishes. Affordable, quality, I was very impressed.

The pulled pork sandwich is awesome. The employees here are equally awesome. Just make sure to keep the front door closed. Green and purple bus stop 2 is very close.

I think your experience will vary depending on WHEN you visit. I went twice. Once when it was slower 1 day, and once when it was busy another day. The non-busy day it was an average experience. 3/5 stars at best. Nothing special. Not bad, not good. If you visit when it's busy, this place falls apart. They become rude, impatient, unhelpful and the food was significantly worse. Additionally, the second time I visited their fryers were broke, so they could basically only serve burgers and a few others things. I understand that things break and stuff happens, that's life, but that does not excuse the absolute terrible customer service experienced at the front counter. I watched 3 people walk out the door pissed off and saying stuff about the place while I was in line to get inside. I only realized after I ordered why they were upset. I will be back to Yosemite to visit, but I surely will not be back to this place.

This restaurant is at shuttle stop 2 in the park. I had the basket of chicken tenders, if you have a basket then you can either choose to have it with fries or a watermelon wedge. The watermelon was so juicy and sweet, the chicken tenders were a little dry though which let it down slightly. You collect food from inside and then sit outside to eat under umbrella tables. The area can look very busy but there’s a fast turnaround on tables so don’t be put off if you can’t immediately see a free table.

Good restaurant behind the welcome centre, there can be long queues during peak times. Wait times are not too bad, the service is good and food looks good. We ordered 3 French fries as a little snack for lunch. Ordering at the counter was fine and waiting for our order was ok, no problems. Nice place for lunch with outdoor seating.

The Village Grill in the valley serves delicious French fries 🍟 and refreshing Coca Cola 🥤 — perfect for a quick snack. You can also fill up your water vessel there, which is really handy in the 100° F heat. The only downside was the very long queue, so be prepared to wait during busy times.

Honestly can’t fault the food or service. We went on a busy Friday and ordered the chicken tenders, pulled pork sandwich, onion rings and fries. We really enjoyed our food- it was hot, tenders were crispy and chicken moist. The fries and sandwich were also great. The onion rings were also really crisp and hot when we got them. It took less than 10 mins for food for 4 people to come out. Server was friendly and patient. Not to mention the food was really reasonably priced especially considering where you are. Will be visiting again.

It’s not a “Grill” if the grill is a microwave. For being at Yosemite National Park, one of the most beautiful places on earth, their food is extremely bland and mediocre. I got an angus burger and my partner got the chili. The chili was good! But this burger… I actually received the food maybe within 10 seconds of ordering it, which means it was either microwaved, or they had cooked more and the burger was just sitting there. To be honest, I think it was both. It was cold and had the texture of school cafeteria burgers. Very basic; tasteless; weird texture; cold. I did not enjoy it at all. I do have to say, the fries are actually okay! Overall, you have no other food options other than this restaurant if you don’t have your own food, so just stay away from the burger and you will be okay.

Great family dinning experience at the Chateau du Sureau. Accommodated the menu for vegetarians and provided amazing service in the cellar. Great atmosphere and pleasant time while visiting Yosemite!

I went to celebrate my birthday by myself and I loved the atmosphere the bartender was amazing! I loved that he made especial cocktails that i have never tried before, but I was really disappointed with the food. It tasted great, but I did find a hair in my food. The bartender felt really bad and he took it off my tab. I forgot his name, but he was amazing. Im really thankful for the way he treated me. Made me feel comfortable.

We recently dined at a high end restaurant that delivered an overall enjoyable experience, though it came with a hefty price tag. The ambiance and service were top notch. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything felt smooth from start to finish. We decided to try a signature drink with each course, which added a fun twist to the evening. We had an Old Fashioned, a hibiscus margarita, a kiwi inspired cocktail, and an espresso with dessert. The drinks were good and well made, but none of them were truly memorable on their own. The standout of the night was the ahi tuna crudo course. It was absolutely delicious, especially paired with the melon. The balance of flavors was spot on and it was easily the most memorable dish. Dessert was also very good and left us with a sweet final impression. While the food was solid and some moments were excellent, the total—around five hundred dollars for two people—felt a bit much for a dinner that left us still wanting a bit more in terms of portion or wow factor. If you are in the mood to explore and splurge, this spot is worth a visit. If you do not have the money to spare, you are definitely missing out, but maybe not on something life changing.

This was probably our top dining experience ever! The room transports you to a romantic, charming European setting. We sat next to a beautiful fireplace, and the mantle was adorned with holiday boughs and candles. Wow! We splurged on the caviar and perfectly prepared warm bellinis. So worth it. The chefs muse bouche was creative, delicious and astonishing, plated on a ponderosa pine bark, that had been coated with resin. What a delightful reminder, that we are surrounded by magnificent trees. Each course had a wine pairing, and everything was described in extraordinary detail, which added to the deliciousness of each bite. I can’t tell you my favorite dish, because they were all amazing. Be sure to share with your dining partners. I also have to admit, we went to the happy hour in the bar the night before. The bar menu is completely different and we were also delighted with the delicious sea bass croquets and olive oil poached halibut. I also have to mention that the bartender was a true cocktail artisan and it was so fun to see him make our smoked bourbon drinks and the Grinch macha infused vodka. We live in San Diego and would easily drive the 7 hours just to experience this lovely restaurant again! Thank you chef and staff!

An absolutely outstanding fine dining experience near Yosemite! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional without ever feeling rushed. Every detail from the beautifully plated dishes to the thoughtfully curated wine list was exceptional. The flavors were balanced, creative, and clearly made with the highest quality ingredients. What stood out most was how seamless the entire evening felt. The staff anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and each course arrived perfectly timed. It’s rare to find this level of service and culinary excellence in such a stunning setting. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want a memorable meal after a day in Yosemite, this restaurant is a must. Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time

Stumbled upon this fairytale French chateau while searching for dining spots on a Yosemite trip, and I’m so glad I did! The staff were polite and the service was excellent. The food was good, and the whole place has such a charming, elegant vibe. I just wish I had more daylight to explore the estate, it looks absolutely stunning. Definitely a memorable spot worth visiting!

What a truly magical experience! The service and ambience is outstanding. Most importantly, the food was excellent! Usually, at most fine dining restaurants, we enjoy some items and others would be alright - hit and miss. We enjoyed every single starter, entrée and dessert. Beautiful experience and we will be back. Thank you!

This was absolutely delicious. Such a hole in a wall place with some of the best corn tortilla tacos i’ve ever tasted. I had shrimp tacos and they were awesome. My friend had the chicken tacos. The service was surprisingly fast, even though we were there kinda mid afternoon, so could probably be slower during lunch rush.

Food is overpriced for what you get, but that is everything in Yosemite. There is a good selection of items to order from the menu. Need to set your expectations low when it comes to taste and quality. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. If everything else is busy, this place is an ok option for food

I recently ate at the restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The food didn't quite live up to my expectations, and the taste was off. Burrito will leave you feeling still hungry. Had to buy the super fries too after. Considering the location, I understand that prices might be higher, but for me, the quality didn't justify the cost. If you're looking for a dining experience within the park, you might want to explore other options or manage your expectations accordingly. Perhaps with some menu adjustments or quality control, this restaurant could better showcase the beauty of Yosemite.

I think the low reviews are a little unjustified for the place. It’s a national park, you can not go in expecting good and cheap food. The food here from my experience is mediocre leaning good and the prices are reasonable for a national park. I got to try the carne asada tacos and the SW chicken salad. The tacos were street tacos and honestly not that bad. I’m mexican myself so I’ve honestly had way better, but for a NPS food establishment, I was happily surprised with the food. Street taco style with corn tortillas, lime, onion, and cilantro. Not too much to desire but still great after a day of hiking in the middle of nowhere. The SW chicken salad was a little disappointing. I didn’t expect a pre-boxed food item when ordering. It was decent but a little expensive for the portion. I would’ve went without it next time and just got more tacos. Overall, I’d recommend the place. It’s better and cheaper than most food i’ve had at other national parks and think people are a little harsh. We’re in the yosemite wilderness after all.

We were hungry after a long hike and we tought we could eat ANYTHING. It was disgusting. A road kill tasts better. AVOID! Recommend the pizza place around the corner, for the same money you can actually feed your family with a decent meal.

considering the location we are happy to find something to eat. Had the chicken salad.. chicken was absent.. there were some crumbs thought to be chicken.. boys had burritos.. they did not complain. But look around you.. have a good meal when you get to a restaurant elsewhere. Next door was a gift shop with groceries.. not too bad. Look at the pic.. yes this is where you are having your meal.

Subpar.. not filling enough for hikers, expensive for the portions. Got the mushroom "protein” which felt like a single small mushroom chopped up on the super fries. Subpar cheese, subpar fries, even their bowl was not that good— and you miss out on the protein with the burrito bowl if you’re vegetarian but still have to pay the same price as those getting meat. Not going here again.

Wawona Restaurant is a great stop for lunch or dinner, and one does not have to stay at the hotel to dine. The service was very friendly and attentive. The menu is rather limited and the food was just alright, but it was a good value. The location is great and the atmosphere is older but comfortable.

Food was delicious here! Open daily, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Menu changes slightly every day. Make sure to make reservations in advance for dinner! Reservations can be made at the front desk.

Convenient if you're staying at the hotel. We weren't too hungry so we shared a couple appetizers. They were nice to offer to cut our wedge salad in half for us and serve on separate plates. The picture is just half the wedge salad.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The most glaring issue was the complete lack of urgency from the staff. Despite arriving before two other tables, we were consistently overlooked. It was frustrating to watch those other tables get served before us. To make matters worse, I requested milk for my coffee on three separate occasions, and each time it was blatantly ignored. As a result, my coffee got cold due to the staff's negligence. The quality of the food was equally disappointing. My French toast had a strange onion-like taste, which makes me suspect it might have been placed on the same grill as other ingredients. Overall, this was far from a restaurant experience I would recommend. It left me with a feeling of frustration and disappointment, and I would advise others to steer clear Doing this review while waiting for my family to finish eating. I'm still at the table impressed with this experience. I better go hiking quick to forget about this place. 😤 never let bad experiences to ruin your day!!!

We stopped in on whim because of how charming the building was! Beautiful old building. The dining room was nice, clean and spacious. We had excellent service. Our drinks were always full and our food was brought promptly.

This restaurant will take you back to years ago in its decor and feel. The menu is comfort food and its prices didn’t seem out of line with how remote the place is. My partner had the pot roast and loved it. I had the stuffed trout which was also good but a little overcooked for my liking. The service was fine although the dining room was hot. Liked it but ate at Yosemite Village our second night here.

We stopped by for lunch here at the Wawona Hotel dining room. The food was very good. The service was excellent. We loved the atmosphere, the historical settings and the scenery. It was a wonderful lunch experience.

Amazing place to grab an early morning sandwich! A lot of different sandwiches that are made to order! If you are gluten free, they can make u one as well! No issue! The staff is super nice! Highly recommended to get some food before your hike! Get there early, the line gets long… Thank you

Best lunch spot in the Valley. Delicious sandwiches and soups, many grab-n-go salads and drinks + Peet’s coffee! Very cozy seating both inside and outside. Roast beef sandwich is a personal favorite.

Was hoping to dine in at the loft. However it is close for some reason and we ended up buying from the deli. They have limited amount of selection to choose from. I ordered the Pastrami sandwich and the soup of the day which is Bacon Potato soup. Sandwich is okay, as it taste very normal for me. Not really memorable. However, the soup is quite tasty and I enjoyed it. Prices is a bit high, which is expected when your buying food inside the national park.

Came here for breakfast before exploring the valley for th day. The food is pretty good, as will as the service. Th raspberry pastry I had was excellent! Great atmosphere, early in the morning anyway. We had a screaming kid so we probably offset that a little 😂. Recommend checking this place out!

I had a salmon sandwich here and really enjoyed it. The price was surprisingly low for this area, and the taste was even better than expected! My friends ordered pastrami sandwiches two days in a row and called them the best they’ve ever had (even better than in fancy New York cafés). My sandwich was great too, though I wish it had been warmed up a bit. I also tried the soup and was very happy with it!

Reasonable prices and food, grab and go as well. For breakfast, plan on waiting 10+ minutes if you order a breakfast sandwich. One person takes your order, disappears in the back for a while, then comes back out with your food and takes the next order. There was no one at the cashier for over ten minutes, multiple people got tired of waiting and just left with their food. Not sure why this place is so disorganized.

Absolutely delicious water. I miss it 😢. Cozy place during early spring. A lot of tables . Free wifi. I feel lucky for people living here.

One of the restaurants in Yosemite Curry Village. The restaurant is located next to the Pizza Deck. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. I was there on a weekday for dinner and the wait was not too bad. The smash burger and fries tasted good. The restaurant was clean and bright inside.

I'm sorry, but that was terrible food. Almost $30 for chewy, rubbery, average tasted "bbq beef". I'm completely ignoring the "sides" issue. It was supposed to be carrots, cucumbers, etc., I got a few lousy slices of chili. Nothing more. Maybe you can eat it with appetite when you come back from a few hours of trekking and wash it down with a lot of local beer. I struggled terribly with this.

Best Burger I've had in a LONG time. I can't really say more, but it was juicy, the fried onions were flavorful and the sauce, it was perfect. They use tallow for their fries. If you have kids they can choose something here or in the cafeteria next door. I also thought the prices were not bad, especially for the portions. The salad looked amazing! I'd eat here again. We tried all the restaurants in Curry village and they were all pretty good, this burger was my fav. The pizza, which can feed an army, that was also amazing next door.

We wanted a hamburger 🍔 and were not disappointed. We had the Double Smash Burger with fries and it was amazing. We don't drink so we had a soda. Ate on the outside deck taking in the view of Half Dome and Glacier Point. Loved the great experience 👍

After a long day of hiking, one of my favorite things is a good margarita and who would have thought I’d find a fantastic one right in Yosemite? 1899 Bar was such a pleasant surprise. The space is clean and modern, with a comfortable vibe that feels perfect after being out on the trails. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which just added to the experience. Definitely a gem in the park! 🍹🌲

4 stars for the store; it's small but they have enough stuff for you to get by. 5 stars for the post office sandwiched between the store and the grill. It may be the smallest in existence but it processes a mountain of packages. Just ask postman Mike and he'll tell ya. 3 stars for the grill. The food is not the best but it gets the job done if you're hungry and you probably will be. Standouts are the veggie chili and the bacon and egg biscuit. Fries are good too. I haven't had the burger but I imagine it's pretty good because I've seen many others with burger in hand. Staff are always nice.

Surprisingly decent tasting food for being in Yosemite. Gets busy in peak season. Long line, out the door, but moved very fast. All the employees were moving fast, especially the cooks. Credit card machine was very slow. Several picnic tables outside. General store next door. Very PCT hiker friendly area.

Love this place! Our favorites are soft serve ice cream and vegetarian chili. Burger and hotdogs taste great after a long hike or just eating by the side of the road enjoying the views. It was closed for a long time since Covid, I think.

Large selection of food in this store if you are looking for snacks or cook a meal. There is also a large selection of souvenirs. Everything in this store is expensive. Everything in Yosemite is expensive, so be prepared when you come for a visit. Staff here is professional, friendly and helpful.

This is your main stop for just about anything Yosemite - and grocery goods as well. As you know if you've been here - civilization is a long drive away, so the shop here has a total monopoly in the area. They have all of the Yosemite souvenirs you could want here. They seem to be a bit more expensive than other national parks - but what are you going to do. This place is almost constantly crowded, so be prepared to duck outside for a breath of mountain air now and then.

Eco-conscious and vegan-friendly! Lots of good stuff is here, whatever you might need for camping etc, including wood, ice, pet food and even souvenirs :D Coffee only refrigerated Starbucks when I was there. Dairy-free, gluten-free, plant-based options.

The Village Store in Yosemite is impressively well-stocked, offering everything from groceries and snacks to souvenirs, apparel, and outdoor gear. It’s just a short walk from the parking area, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful during my visits. I’ve been stopping in here for decades, and I almost always find something to bring home—whether it’s a Yosemite mug, hoodie, beanie, hat, or T-shirt. Their food selection is also excellent, easily one of the best I’ve seen in a national park (comparable only to the Grand Canyon Village Market & Deli). The store usually stays open later than most surrounding businesses, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., which makes it a convenient stop whether you’re grabbing snacks or last-minute souvenirs. Parking directly in front of the store is limited to 30 minutes, but that’s rarely an issue since you can park at the Yosemite Village Parking area and make the short walk up past the new Visitor Center to get here. The Yosemite shuttle also stops right near the store (Stop #1), so it’s accessible no matter how you’re getting around. If you’re in Yosemite Valley and need groceries, a gift, or just want to browse, this is definitely the place to go!

Sandwiches were fresh and well composed. Fresh fruits were surprisingly modest in price for most essentials. Saved us time and planning knowing we did not have to cook and could depend on their offerings while coordinating hikes in the Valley and elsewhere.

A wonderful full service grocery store plus gift shop that can meet your every needs when you come to visit the Yosemite National Park! They have fresh fruits and vegetables, meat section, beer and wine, all sorts of bread and seasonings and ingredients for you to cook no matter if you are camping or just need something to snack or eat! Those ready made sandwiches looks very tasty too! The price are little bit higher than the grocery store at the foothills but I think it’s fair! We always enjoy a trip to this store even time we visit Yosemite!

The nice thing about the Village Store in Yosemite is they have most of the things here that you need if you forget to bring them with you. They have a supermarket, souvenirs, sweaters, jackets, and more. But the prices are on the high side! The parking lots can be jam-packed on the weekends. Sometimes, it takes me more than 15 minutes to get parking. The employees are pretty nice!

My family and my daughter's in-laws celebrated Father's Day at the Ducey's. They were not that busy, yet we still had to wait to be seated despite having a reservation. There is no lake view where we were seated. The Ahi Tuna was good. A little more sauce to go with the rice would have been better. My daughter had a burger, and she said it was good. The fries and tater tots were good. The service could be better. We had to ask for a high chair a few times, and we could use a refill of our drink (water).

Loved my Reuben sandwich with Tator Tots! Hard Cider was refreshing! My husband had fish and chips. Fries were a little under done and he requested crispy. Service was excellent and the food came out in about 10 minutes. Prices were average, but the patio view of Bass Lake priceless!

Top tier steaks and dinner here! Booked a special reservation here to celebrate our engagement. I had a plate of Ribeye 12oz with cabernet Demi glaze with a side of salad, parmesan garlic fries + Mac n' cheese. My fiancee had the surf n turf with a side of Mac n' cheese and salad. Additionally wanted to give a shoutout to the waitress who took a photo of our big day on the deck upstairs! You're an MVP! These photos came out wonderful!

Since the very first time my family and I came to this restaurant on Mother’s Day, we’ve been completely blown away. The staff here are truly amazing, they’re so kind, welcoming, and always make us feel like part of their family. Every time we visit, they go above and beyond to make sure our experience is perfect. The food is always delicious! And the view of the lake just makes everything even more special. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy great food, and make memories with loved ones. Every seat had a beautiful view of the water. Our waitress was sweet and very attentive. This is definitely a higher price point with plates priced at $30 -$50. We did not feel rushed and the food was delicious. I got the Filet Mignon with bernaise, ginger green beans and the bacon Mac and cheese. Surprisingly my favorite part of the dish was the green beans. So diffrent and delicious.

While I was home, I was able to visit Ducey's on the lake with Family and it is a must! If you are in the area for Yosemite or even a day trip you have too visit this place! Delicious food and options of two restaurants with a beautiful view of Bass Lake! With Live bands during the summer and people from all over this is definitely a must Try!!

Beautiful experience at Evergreen Lodge We had the most wonderful experience at Evergreen Lodge! Everything was beautifully arranged — the setting, the atmosphere, and every little detail were perfect. A special thank-you to Micaela, who organized everything with such care. She was always in touch, thoughtful, and attentive to every concern we had — truly a pleasure to work with. Lola also did a fantastic job helping with the setup and making the place look absolutely magical. The whole team made our morning unforgettable. Our new favorite Yosemite cabins! Perfect for families. We loved the thoughtful effort in having so many games and puzzles available so people can enjoy a slower, technology free weekend with family. We loved the pool and hot tub, nightly campfire smores, onsite restaurant, multiple indoor and outdoor play areas, meandering forest pathways, sunset vista spot, and cozy cabin rooms. We’ll be back every year!

Kinda place in your dreams. Fall was beautiful. The little cabins ad walk ways with hidden little extras was such fun to experience. We even took a dip in the hot tub at night. Stars were amazing. The bar was very cool. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay. Yes thats an actual shoot star in the night time photo! Amazing place

Beautiful lodge in the forest, very calm area. We appreciated the jacuzzi and pool. The logde is comfortable, and the food is excellent. We recommend the Zinfandel wine. A few things to do better : fridge way too cold, heating cannot be adjusted, and minimum amenities. One hour drive to go to Yosemite Valley.

Just stayed here, this place was awesome. The onsite restaurant and bar is crucial because there's not much nearby, but they have everything you need, and the food is spectacular. Nice little general store that has sandwiches and snacks, plenty of drinks, a rain jacket if you didn't bring one, Nalgene bottles, whatev. The staff was really nice and super helpful too… We got some great information from Billy and had a great experience in the park. Strongly recommend. Maybe a little bit pricey, but justified for sure😊🤙

I was reminded of my stay here from 2014 from some older pictures I found (before Google tied your location to pictures), so my review might be a smidge dated, but it absolutely deserves a review. It was a gorgeous place, nice views, easy parking, with a bar, restaurant (which I don't believe I visited, but the bar was wonderful), and community fire pit. So a great way to meet and casually chill with other travelers, yet, due to the individual cabins, we had plenty of privacy as well. It was also a reasonable distance from the park and an easy drive to get there. It was the most romantic getaway I've ever been on, and I was only looking for somewhere affordable to stay near Yosemite; I hadn't really looked much into the place because I didn't plan on spending a lot of time there. It was surprisingly fantastic, I was blown away. I actually felt annoyed that we didn't end up spending more time JUST there! And this was VERY recently after a huge fire in the park. They managed to make that sad event completely forgettable, even though just up the street, there was a lot of burned forest. Super impressive (and thank goodness the place was intact, they were seriously within like, maybe ¼ mile of the burn). The craziest thing is that the prices from when I stayed there 11 years ago are extremely close, maybe even the same, to what they are now!! Uncovering this memory fills me with urgency to go back ASAP. I wish I could live here 🥲💖

In the middle of nowhere we found this amazing place to stop and enjoy nature. Here you hear the sound of nature when the sun set comes. The smell of wood is around you. We slept in beds put in tents. The swimming pool is fantastic. We ate in the restaurant, too big portions for us.

I had dinner at June Bug Café during my trip near Yosemite, and it was a great find! After hearing mixed reviews about the park and lodge restaurants, I decided to drive a bit further south — definitely worth it. I ordered the St. Louis style pork ribs, which came with mashed potatoes. The portion was huge, and the food was solid overall. The BBQ sauce was a little too sweet for my taste, but still enjoyable. Prices are on the higher side, but considering the limited options in the area, it’s understandable. If you're looking for better quality than the typical park restaurants, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out.

Went for dinner with a group of 14 people. Soon the restaurant got filled and busy. The team served really quick and taste of the food was really good. I let the team know their service was really impressive. I ordered vegan meal and it was superb. Every single one of us enjoyed. Highly recommend to visit.

We stopped at the June bug for breakfast on the way to Yosemite. We ordered the trail lunch which we thought was very convenient along with some breakfast. The cafe is very cozy on the inside, the food decent, but the service really was depressing and a downer. The two people working couldn’t give less about their customers and clearly felt annoyed to be working that morning. The wait time was incredible long for a simple American breakfast - 30 minutes+ while nobody else was at the cafe. Eggs were tasty but hash browns were definitely greasy and gross. The cook didn’t seem to put any effort in the meals. Please serve your customers with a smile and give two cents about the people visiting your cafe. ** EDIT ** to the owner: we did not order jack cheese and I don’t think we were nasty. So no we were not those customers. We were certainly not upset. There are two things you can do about feedback: being dismissive or trying to take it to heart. I am sorry you choose the first option.

The food we ordered (salmon & rib) were delicious yet a little overcooked. This place is self-service style, not a traditional restaurant: you bring your food to table of your choice, and bus the trays to the kitchen window. You get your own water and drinks after paying upfront to the cashier. However, the receipt suggests you to choose either 15% or 20% tips, or you can enter your own amount. We found it’s an audacious asking for a cafe with a minimal service to ask 15-20% tip.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly Stellar Food in a Rustic Setting June Bug Café in Midpines might look unassuming—order at the counter, grab your drinks and salad or soup, and they’ll bring your entrée to your table. You bus your own table when you’re done. It’s part of a rustic lodge setup with cabins and dorms… not exactly fine dining at first glance. But don’t let the casual setup fool you—the food is absolutely next level. I had the Slow Roasted Herb Marinated Half Chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, and it was fantastic. Tender, flavorful, perfectly roasted. We also tried the Vegan Roasted Cauliflower and Sweet Potato Curry Samosas, which were surprisingly complex and delicious. They rotate their menu daily (check Facebook!), and everything is made with care. Salads were fresh, soup was rich and comforting (Cream of Broccoli with Carrots today), and the portions were solid. Honestly? Probably the best meal we’ve had on our national park trip—and we weren’t expecting that from a little hillside café. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a Yosemite lodge but were tired of their food. Drove a half hour to this place - totally worth it! You stand in line to place your order and get your salad or soup at that time. While you sit and eat that they’re making your dinner. The choices are amazing! Vegan, vegetarian, Greek, BBQ, half a chicken… all cooked with good seasoning and accompanied by fresh vegetables. Go!!

First off and sort of camp restaurant needs a wood burning fireplace, and not only do they have one, they have couches so you can warm up and socialize! Menu changes everyday, and the food is good! The mixed berry pie was exceptional, and they hand it to you when you order it before your food, unless you say otherwise, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Usually I get a bit of side eye when I go for dessert first!! This is my favorite recommendation from the locals I’ve pestered!! Check it out!!

Awesome little market. Pioneer Market is a great place to pickup any last minute needs, or snacks before entering Yosemite. They have a great selection of different products, a nice deli and coffee bar. The only downside is the prices are a bit high, but overall this a great place to stop by.

This is not your small town grocery store! Reasonably priced and huge selection of items. Produce takes great care in keeping it fresh. You can use points earned at the local Grizzly Gas Station for a discount at the pump, too. Discounts for seniors on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A wonderfully friendly staff that adds to the whole shopping experience.

The bathrooms were super gross and it looked like someone peed all over the floor and it dried. No gaskets so you had to make your own out of tp, which is silly because that has to cost them more than providing gaskets would. There was a task sheet for the bathroom, but they rolled it up so you couldn't see what's supposed to be done and I checked it and hardly any of it was complete. There are also questionable dots all over the walls. Super gross and if this is the bathroom the employees have to use, it makes me wonder how safe it is to eat the food prepared here in the deli or bakery. The prices are also super high. Even the clearance baskets out front are more than I'd pay not on sale. Just because your store is in a food desert doesn't mean you should rob your customers who depend on you.

A grocery store where you can find most of your needs while heading toward Yosemite National Park. This store is like mini Walmart. I bought produce, milk, firewoods and some snacks. There are no major stores ahead of this point on your way to the park, so make sure to buy them here.

Nice hometown market. Had all that we needed except Blue Bell ice cream. 🤠 The cashier was enjoyable & offered us the senior discount. Great stop for those traveling through the area.

I recently visited Pioneer Market, and overall, it provided a decent shopping experience. Nonetheless, it remains a viable option for local grocery needs.

It's always a treat to stop here on the way home after a day in Yosemite National Park. They have great food and an excellent bar selection. Always have the best beers to choose from. The staff are always very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. This property is gorgeous and is worth the stop. When heading home down Highway 120, you won't come to any other restaurant that's comparable until you reach Oakdale.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place is absolutely beautiful! The manager, Deasia, was so helpful and friendly, she let us choose our seats, brought us water right away, and even gave my daughter a teddy bear to play with. Our server, Maddy, was super nice and attentive, and all the staff were smiling and welcoming. The food was amazing! I had four plates, and the chicken and waffles, salad, and salmon were my favorites. Such a great experience overall, and we’ll definitely be back!

Our experience was very nice however the food quality was quite below the level I would have expected. Chicken wings had very little seasoning and sauce and the two larger wings in the order were raw and cool in Temp.🤮. Our main meal was ok just ok. Presentation was poor and flavor was just average. The food just needed a little bit more attention to flavor, seasoning and presentation. The food quality seemed good and fresh.The restaurant was empty other than another family of four so I don't understand the issue. Employee's were very friendly and attentive. The interior was beautifuly rustic and spotless. Pricing was fair and portions were good to above average. I don't think I'll be back to the restaurant until I've heard some changes have been made.

We were in Yosemite on a Friday night and everything was crowded with 1 hour+ wait times. Drove out of the valley to this peaceful resort and was given a 10 minute wait. The kids played in the game room while we waited to be seated. The food was better than anything I’ve eaten in Yosemite valley. Portions were fair. My teenage son loved his El Capitan Bison burger and struggled to finish it. You are paying full Yosemite prices, but that’s part of California. Other favorites in the family were the salmon and the fish and chips. We have a celiac/gluten-free in the family and they were able to accommodate our needs.

Good food close to Yosemite Valley. We stopped here on the way back from firefall viewing, and the food was extremely delicious. We started with chicken wings and tomato soup. Both were very delicious. The wings are spicy and come with a side of celery. For the main course we ordered black bean burger(surprisingly delicious), Philly cheese steak and poke. Except poke the rest came with a side of fries and the burger also has pickle. We came in extremely hungry and the portion size was so big that we had leftovers.

Food was fine, but nothing I’d rate higher than “good.” It’s also a pretty room in a good location, which has led us to stop here a few times. Service on our last visit was atrocious, however. Our server (Dafinaa?) was totally indifferent to our table. Had trouble with our order. Wouldn’t split the check. Worse, we just could not get a refill on our drinks and our kids had to go to the bar just to get more lemonade — then even at the bar they first ignored our kids, and then me until I found a manager to step in. Really horrific as even our own waitress just stared at me when she came to the bar and ignored me when I said “excuse me,” although I can’t imagine how she noticed the empty cup. Upside is I didn’t have to pay for more drinks since she never came back to take an order for another round.

Pine Tree Market has had a glow-up in recent years and turned into a community hub for Wawona. The charming outside area (to the left) is host to twice weekly “Coffee with a Ranger” and other community events like craft night (currently on Wednesdays). Inside you’ll find all kinds of food, souvenirs and fancy coffee drinks (from a self-service machine, but if you need a latte in Wawona, this is your only option). Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices reflect the semi-remote location.

Pine Tree Market literally has nearly everything you need. If you came into town with barely enough food, they have it all: Bread, deli meat, butter, oatmeal, coffee, snacks, essential oils, a ton of over the counter drugs, fresh produce, and much more. In addition, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. “We try to have nearly everything you need so you don’t have to go out of the park.”

Obsessed. So grateful for all the fresh foods and treats, kind service, and sweet kitty cat Sam!!

This little market is great has everything you would need and your morning coffee, also some very unique souvenirs especially the photo art, The scenes captured are Not the run of the mill mass produced photo art they're very singular. I purchased a piece that depicts the "Horsetail Water Fall" from a different angle that really captures the Waterfall's beauty. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Hopefully you bring everything you need because this place is very expensive. There is a good selection of gear if you are looking for something. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. The mountaineering school is located inside here if are interested in signing up for a class.

If you need some new hiking or climbing gear this is a great little shop. They had a decent selection, even if you have to pay for the convenience of having it in the park.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place absolutely earned it. The employee helping us was incredibly rude and completely disengaged. He seemed either stoned or just totally out of it—slurring words, moving slow, and way more interested in talking about his personal life stories than actually doing his job. At one point, there was a line forming and he was still mid-rant about something that happened to him “back in the day.” It felt like we walked into his therapy session, not a business. On top of that, everything is ridiculously overpriced for what you get. You're paying premium prices and getting bargain bin service—if any service at all. Honestly, it felt like a joke.

There is a good selection of products available. We bought a few nice items here. My only complaint is that the cashiers are not friendly at all. I hope they can be nicer to their customers.

If you forgot your camping gear, or need hiking gear look no where else but this store! They had everything one could need!

Great gear shop for climbing, backpacking, hiking, camping and outdoor gear. Good selection, though definitely seasonally dependent. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. This is an outdoor gear shop. The grocery store is a few doors down, past the Meadows Grill. There are some reviews for the grocery store here, which is inaccurate and might confuse some folks.

This place seems to be called Curry Village Dining Pavilion also. The place looks recently renovated. It used to be more traditional dining hall fares and settings. It now provides a bit more diverse dinning options on the menu, which is still quite simple. It's mostly self service except you still need to pay the cashier. There are plenty of seats in the dining area so accommodating large crowd does not seem like an issue. The food quality is ok and the price is reasonable. The dining experience will not be the highlight of the trip but at least it is not bad either.

I guess we got lucky coming here. I didn’t check the reviews before we arrived, as I didn’t have any phone service, so I had no expectations beyond my initial experience. After reviewing the place, I felt a bit of relief that we didn’t share the same experiences as some of the other reviewers. Fortunately, when we (five people in total) came to eat after a long hike, it was on a Monday late afternoon! The place was practically empty, so there were no lines for pizza or drinks at the bar. We kept it simple and only ordered one pizza, choosing pepperoni and splitting it between all of us. The pepperonis were a bit crispy too, and had additional seasonings on top. We also grabbed two beers from the bar. I did notice a few people with more festive, extravagant pizza toppings, but the pepperoni was actually really good, and thankfully, none of us got sick! The Vernal Falls hike was much longer than expected, with a Mist Trail detour that made it even longer, so we were all glad to get the food quickly with no issues. I hope your experience is similar to ours and not like some of the others shared here!

Seven Tents in Yosemite National Park is a prime example of taking advantage of captive customers. Located in the Curry Village food court, this restaurant offers a limited menu of rotisserie chicken, pasta, and salads at high prices (given the poor quality of the food). The setup is cafeteria-style – you grab a tray, pick your food, pay at the counter, and then find a seat. Utensils are a free-for-all on the wall behind the cashier. Seating is first-come, first-served, and cleanup is entirely on you. Expect leftover food and dirty dishes on tables, especially during peak hours (which, in my case, was a packed summer night at 8:30 pm). Now, onto the most disappointing part – the food itself. I opted for the white sauce pasta with vegan meatballs, a whopping $15+ for a dish that was a culinary disaster. The pasta was severely undercooked, the sauce was barely a whisper, and the vegan meatballs were dry and flavorless. They offered a red sauce pasta with regular meatballs as well, but considering this experience, I wouldn't risk it. The only saving grace, and even that's a maybe, is the free wifi – but only if you're staying at Curry Village and have the magical promotion code they neglect to share anywhere. Overall, Seven Tents is a frustrating experience. Unless you're starving and have absolutely no other options, avoid it. Go to the pizza place right outside. I'd rather wait in line for that than go back to this restaurant.

Contributing to the previous review of Curry Village, I'm here to give my opinion of the on-site lunch restaurant. One of the employees unfriendlyly invited us to leave because it was 9:59 and they closed at 10:00, and there were still people ordering. Of course, the opening hours are understandable, but not the way she "invited" us to leave. The next day we went back earlier, but we were caught off guard by the same woman arguing with another family about the amount of food to serve a child, although the mother offered to pay more for a larger amount of food for her hungry son ( The woman didn’t serve more food for him ). If you plan to have breakfast here, I recommend going to the Yosemite Valley Lodge, which is cheaper and you can order from a kiosk machine without the rudeness of the staff.

I really dislike leaving bad reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. I ate breakfast here two days in a row. The food was fine, but the service was consistently unpleasant. On the first day, the man serving breakfast (wearing sunglasses) was very rude to me. When I didn’t ask in the “right” way, he actually shouted at me. The next day, the same thing happened again with a young woman serving. Both times, I felt disrespected and uncomfortable. Finally, when I paid, the cashier was also rude. He seemed patient and friendly with white customers, but not with me, which was very disappointing. Yosemite is such a beautiful and welcoming place, but unfortunately my experience at this restaurant was the opposite. I hope management addresses this, because no one should be treated this way.

We go to Yosemite every year once or twice. This was our place to eat. They always had a choice of fish, chicken and beef or pork with lots of different sides of great vegetables, a dinner roll with butter. A great salad bar, the still have that. Now no fish and no sides of vegetables, no dinner roll. I don't eat any other meat except fish. I loved all of there vegetables. Now we bring our own food and cook. I loved not needing to pack so much food and having to cook. Bring back the old menu Please. Or add fish and sides of vegetables. Thank you!

Came through for breakfast and dinner, October 3-5 (2025); Simple faire as last time for both mealtimes. Would have shelled out for more special dishes, but there was nothing different on Saturday compared to Friday. Food was not bad though, just simple.

Nice Restaurant, well designed and decorated, friendly staff… but when it comes to food, unfortunately not good specially for a great hotel. We ordered burgers…. Very blend and very poor portion…. Side of coleslaw salad is attached. Definitely with a great staff and management, they could do better and they should do better. The price was fair for a hotel restaurant but definitely unfair for good quality and portions!!! The drinks were not bad !!!

I got the crab cake Benedict- DO NOT reccomend. The crab cakes really are just breading.. I really didn't get a bit of crab in mine.. the poached eggs also were cooked like, medium... typically Benedict eggs are poached soft so the yolk adds to the sauce... the hollandaise was extremely thick.. and not terribly flavorful. I asked for chorizo to be added in the hash browns - i did not enjoy this as much as I hoped it would. The steak bites appetizer was def worth it. I enjoyed the blue cheese & the bread pieces The Chile relleno a la carte was mediocre.. So best thing was the steak bite appetizer for sure. Staff and waiter super friendly and attentive.

My husband and I ate here for dinner and enjoyed some beers and cocktails at the bar and they were both fantastic. The food was exceptional and the staff tending to us on the bar were so friendly I can’t fault it! There were some cocktails that I’ve never even heard of and the bar tender executed them perfectly! 😍

Eaten here many times while staying at Tenaya. Food is good. The server Greg was great and the atmosphere in the adjoining dining area is rustic with touches of American Indian decor. Also has an outdoor patio for dining. A great experience.

After ordering the buffet we weren’t offered coffee or juice which is part of the buffet. I had to ask for it late into breakfast, which was disappointing. There is nothing special about the food. Scrambled eggs were just that, slightly overcooked. Sausages were plain. Waffles were ok and at least the syrup was hot. The interesting thing about this buffet is that other name brand hotels that offer complimentary breakfast also offer the same things but here it’s $25 per person. My son ordered French toast and it came with regular size bread. I’m used to Texas size bread and bread isn’t expensive. If you want to save money, get patty from the store and coffee from your room. Otherwise, lower your expectations for breakfast.

Food is expensive and not great. The burgers especially are bland and overpriced. Servers were nice and responsive, but the restaurant was understaffed which made service slow. The main highlight of the meal was the salad and poke-style nachos.

Nice place to relax after a hike at Yosemite. The food and the ambience was great (also had vegetarian options). We wished we could have stayed a night here.

Grilled Ahi was surprisingly great. We ordered a medium rare steak, but it came out a bit medium. Burger was also good if a little dry. Still a great place to get some good food if you are in Oakhurst. Staff were very quick and friendly as well.

Food was great! In fact, it was amazing! Everything was perfectly cooked. Service was good! Server was very nice and polite. Unfortunately, it was so loud at this place. There weren't even that many people overall, I just think it might have terrible acoustics. It was almost impossible to have a conversation. The only other thing worth noting was the front desk/seating staff. The lady was kind of rude to us, and barely said hello. It seemed like a huge inconvenience that she had to seat people.

What a dinner! My family, friends and I were heading out from the Yosemite National Park, and we decided to stop by this place to eat dinner. The wait was pretty quick, didn't take too long to get a table for our group of 9. We sat down and was greeted by the waiter very quickly. She was very polite and nice to us. Our food came out very fast, and the portion sizes were very big for how much we paid! The food tasted absolutely incredible. I got the single best western burger, and my dad got the double. Be warned, the double is absolutely ginormous! Everything tasted amazing, and we were all nice and full. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out! Amazing service, amazing food, very nice place. 5 Stars. 100% recommend.

It was so good we went back the next night. All food was excellent except the oysters which my wife described as bland. The first night I had the 1LB burger, yes, that was a pound of meat in the picture. It was truly delicious. I didn’t take photos the next night and had the chicken Marsala which was very good. Reasonable prices and excellent service.

The restaurant is in the Best Western Hotel and is open to the public. When we visited they were VERY busy and we did not have a reservation, but got given a table fairly quickly. The front of the house worked very efficiently with the waiters. The food arrived in a very reasonable time and it was awesome. The waiters were all very nice. We visited already 10 years ago and it was awesome then, it is nice to see they are still awesome. Definitely recommended if in Oakhurst!

Steak is so delicious and the breakfast is really decent (good variety). The personal is so friendly and they are cleaning the tables and everything constantly, I love that. The price is really good, also is enough food for two people if you are no really hungry. Also you will enjoy the view. ( I don't show the food because I ate so fast) 🤭

Staff are very friendly and helpful, menu selection was great and cocktails weren't overly expensive. Margarita is on point and highly recommended. We got the clam chowder and seafood pasta. Both were fantastic I'd definitely recommend this place for a good feed

We stopped her on our way back from Yosemite because of the good reviews. There was a line outside but it was worth the wait. I had the three meat plate combo with brisket, tri-tip, and pork. Everything was juicy and tender. The sides, mac and cheese and the baked beans, complemented the BBQ. They make their own BBQ sauce and pickles, everything was very tasty. Everything we ordered was perfect. I was especially pleased with the great customer service. All the employees were attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

After my second plate of brisket, I had to stop and just take a moment to appreciate how much work must go into making all this food. You can taste the hours of effort that go into the smoking process, and that’s something I really respect. It’s a whole craft, and you can tell they take it seriously here. The meat is smoked right there on the property. You can notice the lovely aroma before you even step inside, and that sets the mood instantly. The menu has a lot to choose from, which I like. I’m a brisket person through and through, but even so, I had a hard time not getting distracted by everything else listed. There’s plenty of sides, too, so you can build yourself a plate that covers every craving, from something rich and cheesy to something a little lighter. After a long hike in Yosemite, this is exactly the kind of place you want to land in. You burn a bunch of calories on the trail, then come here to get some much needed protein. They’ve got plenty of seating, it’s comfortable inside, and the temperature is set just right too. It’s the kind of place where you could easily bring your whole group of friends or family and everyone would fit in fine. And yes, I brought home a little piece for my dog. All in all, I’m really glad a place like Smokehouse 41 exists here. It’s part of the community. It gives people somewhere to gather, relax, and enjoy food that’s clearly made with time and care. If you are heading to, or coming home from Yosemite; this is a must stop for food. The restaurant opens right at 11 AM. There will be people lining up. This is not your typical fast food joint. There is no drive thru but service is fast. Meat is smoked for about 14 hours. You will see the smoker out front. I ordered the sashsquatch (might not be spelled right) it has brisket and tri-tip, grilled onion and some type of sauce. This sandwich is perfection. They cut the meat right in front of you. I also had the potato casserole. Everything was beyond yummy. I will always make it a point to stop here on my trips

This is my second review after our third visit. We stopped in Oakhurst on a Tuesday evening specifically to enjoy the barbecue on the way to Yosemite. We should have checked; they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. We came back for lunch on Friday and were the first customers of the day. The barbecue is wonderful and the service very good and very friendly. We shared brisket, pulled pork, and chicken and also took one-half pound of each home. Wow is it good. This is, in our opinion, barbecue as it should be, perfectly smoked. And, the smoking is done in the parking lot right out the front door, so the aroma is enticing up and down the street. Did I mention that the barbecue is wonderful?

5 star all around! We did have to wait in line, but they had cold water and staff outside to hand out menus and explain how everything works. They let you wait in the shade and monitor the line inside and that was awesome! The staff is all so kind and helpful and making sure you always have full drinks once you sit down! The food was INCREDIBLE. My family and I split the Mammoth so we got to try everything except the brisket which was sold out. All of the meat was so good and the sides were amazing. We got an extra premium side of the twice baked potato casserole and that was 100% worth it by far my favorite side. I would eat here again and again. We came at 6:30ish and got food around 7! So not too bad! The staff told us that if we came at 7 it is most often an hour and a half wait… so we were glad we came earlier!

The two-meat platter, featuring sausage and chicken, is accompanied by baked beans and the premium side of potato casserole. I'm so happy I did, since they were sold out of the house special baked potato. The meat is so tender, and the sausage has cheese and jalapenos. Wasn't a fan of the bread, but still good Staff hands you a menu, and you order at the counter after changing your mind a few times. Pay and then find a table. Staff are friendly, and tables are clean We're so bummed that we only had one chance to eat here.

We came around 6:30pm, they have parking in the back as well, the front was pretty packed. There was a long line but it move quickly. You order first and then pay and get your food right after, like most bbq places. We got the 3 meats plate which comes with 2 sides and we added the sausage which was cheese. The three meat plates were tri tip, brisket and pork. The sides were their beans with meat and jalapeño mac and cheese top with bacon. The reason for 3 start, some of the meats were warm to room temperature, sausage was the only one that was really hot. The beans were hot and and mac and cheese was room temperature. The staff were really nice. The overall taste was good, just wished it was hot. The place was busy throughout but we found a seat no problem. The portion was good for 2 of us if you are not too hungry. They gave us an extra plate to share so the pictures are of the plate already shared, should have taken a picture before.

Went in late at night. Despite it been busy for a Tuesday night, staff was friendly and attentive. Food was devine! The handmade tortillas were excellent and the cocktails were just right. Only down side, it was a bite loud for my preference. Given the amount of people, definitely understandable. Will absolutely try again when I'm in the area.

This place was fantastic. From the bar tender to the waiters, staff and Food. As soon as I entered I felt refreshed. The music took me back to great memories. Lets talk food, I ordered mole and it was fantastic and authentic for the region.( There are many varieties so don't hate). I was pleased my food didn't have cheese or sour cream on it. (Shredded Cheese on Mexican food is a big sign the food is not going to be great and definitely not authentic). My husband ordered fish tacos and the flavor was delicious.he would order again. Ohhhj, the drinks!!! The Oaxacan cocktails are off the chain and you must order one! I got the Bracero... highly recommend it. I say, if there was a negative, it is that they only had 1 salsa and it was very liquidy. No spicy salsa according to the waiter.

A fantastic Mexican restaurant with an authentic vibe and a big selection of traditional dishes. The flavors are amazing but some meals can be very spicy, so choose carefully if you are sensitive to heat.

At our visit to Yosemite national park we had our motel in Oakhurst. The second day we decided to have more Mexican food cuz we loved it in LA and SD a few days ago. The tacos very really juicy and tasty. They put a lot of carne and shrimp in the tacos. The burrito was solid but a bit too juicy in my opinion but the taste was very good as well.

It was amazing. The dish looked beautiful and the taste was even better. The service and the atmosphere (the view especially) were great. I loved the ribeye tacos and the tortilla chips. Will recommend to friends!

Such a small store for the amount of people that come to visit Glacier Point. The staff is very friendly , professional and helpful. Everything here is very expensive. Just make sure to bring drinks and snacks with you so you won't need to visit this store.

We picked up a few trinkets and got ice cream on a hot day! They had a good selection of snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. It was nice to grab something before the 16-mile trip back to the main road!

Didn't expect such a store in this remote location in Yosemite. Price is very reasonable given the location. They have decent varieties of food and drinks and also a microwave. When I was there it was card only. Unfortunately there's no restroom in this building for the public. I wish there was a restroom with water Access. The staff was nice.

Good place to stop by and shop. An advice to store owner or NPS, please replace the lights infornt to red light and it disturbs the night sky watching. (Light pollution)

I had the worst experience here on July 2nd. I’ve been to many national park gift shops, but this one was by far the worst. The cashier, a white woman, was very kind and friendly to the person in front of me, who seemed to work at the park. But when it was my turn, I said “Hello” to her first with a smile, and she didn’t respond at all. Instead, she frowned, rang up my items, only told me the total, and just stared at me as if I had done something wrong. I paid with my card, and she silently handed me the receipt without saying a single word. It honestly made me wonder if she treated me that way because I’m Asian.

The dried meat was amazing! we got Gatorade for 1.50 or something. Good food, pretty souvenirs

Plenty of hot Peet's coffee available with coffee mate creamer. Best coffee in the area. Small slection of fresh vegetables and a bit of everything else. Wish it opened earlier than 9 am for the coffee!

Wish I could request an intense investigation of the employee on shift this A.M. when asking about a battery for my Key F.o.B he was absolutely mean to me and all of the guest prior to me. It is not any customers responsibility to take the emotional weight off of a 60 year old- very grumpy- old man. On the contrary, the woman at the gas station next door helped direct me to where I would be able to purchase one. Thankful for her as my car would not have restarted if I shut it of with the dead fob. Believe his name was Jordan. Also grateful for the hardware store in Mariposa as they got me the battery!

The older employee clearly treats customers differently based on their skin color, so I urge you to be cautious. During my brief visit to the store, I observed a noticeable disparity in how customers were treated, directly linked to their skin color.

Maison from El Portal Market helped me when I had a flat tyre (Enterprise rented me an unsafe car with after market wrong tyres). Maison went way above and beyond and even sent me to the hotel. Thanks so much Maison.

This is THE bar or pub. Good selection of beers. Brilliant atmosphere. The service was impersonal and the food was less memorable. However, if all one need is to quench one's thirst with friends or family, you have come to the right place. Shame it is only open for five hours, from 5:00PM to 10:00PM. Drink fast.

Great food, good service, and this place fills up quickly! A 5:15pm dinner was perfect. We enjoyed the rib platter for 2 with several sides. Athough the chopped greens were way too spicy, the BBQribs made up for it. And add peach cobbler?! Delish! We'll be back!!

We order Ribs, dryer then jerky, tast like been cook many times or people turn it. manger said, here is national park, eat whatever chief cook. if you want better meat, go for next door Mountain room. I been more than 20 NPs, this restaurant service and food is worse I been.

Service was fine, the drinks were not good at all. They serve food, which looked okay, but did not order. The entrance and seating is accessible. Restrooms are nearby. At least 2 televisions were showing sporting events and news, imagine if you wanted to see a game this would be a good place to do so. Unlikely to return, service was fine, but the price paid for really bad drinks will keep me from returning.

Great ambiance and service. We came back to see Demetrius because he was so kind and got us drinks while we waited for our table next door. The second time we sat and ate the thighs and polenta. For desert we had the smores, all the gooeyness and none of the work. It was so delicious and filling after a day of hiking through detours and waterfalls.

Stopped for dinner and drinks here after a day at the park. I took the chicken pesto wrap which came with a side of fries. This was pretty good. My wife had the mushroom cheese burger which was good as well. My friend took the black bean burger which was okay I guess. I also tried an old fashion with my meal which was not the best one to be honest. Definitely a place to chill and have a couple of drinks after a long day of hike. Priced reasonably considering it is inside a national park and have good portion size.

Good alcohol selection with nice cocktails. The whole bar is pretty cozy with a really cool fireplace in the middle. If you ever get the chance come during New Year’s! They have a fun celebration.

Alright, this place rocks. An old school dive bar with great wings, awesome atmosphere, friendly staff, and great history what else could you want on a way to Yosemite. The kitchen had a great variety of bar food with a surprising good selection of both healthy and traditional bar grabs. The wings were incredible. I wouldn’t come here expecting it to be fine dining, but for an easy laid back experience I would definitely come back. My only complaint it the desert is pretty expensive for what it is. 15 dollars for a pretty small, but delicious, slice of carrot cake. I’m definitely coming back.

We weren't really sure what we would be expecting at a "historic" establishment - the oldest saloon in California. And absolutely, the place screams history. But we weren't sure because we had kids in our party. The interior is historic alright, but also really worn down. We were a bit confused as to how to enjoy the atmosphere - whether soak ourselves in 1852 or cut it slack for being quirky in 2025. The ceiling was a bit gross with spitballs of bills stuck to it like a disease. I'm sure there's some significance here but it was ghastly to say the least. And yes, it is a saloon but they could absolutely use a bit more lighting during the day. Again, at 2pm, it isn't a nightclub nor a karaoke saloon. Other than this, the entire place is again like a museum with artifacts from all over time hanging from walls and ceilings. Surprisingly, the food was quite good. The battered fries were near perfection. We were genuinely blown away on the quality of effort that was put into preparation - especially given the cuisine being American comfort food. The bacon burger was juicy and flavorful. The cobb salad was well made except they could've used a bit more fresher avocados and eggs. Other than that, it held well together. Iron Door Saloon has so much potential. All they need to do is "clean it up" a bit and be more museum and lean on history than a run-down, random collection of artifacts. The food backs it up. But everything else comes up short. The service was friendly but super slow. And I don't think it was our table only. And there weren't many in restaurant. If you are passing by Groveland, and want a bit of history, then this is it. But I wouldn't recommend it more than once a few years.

Oldest saloon in California. Lots of room to lounge and hangout. Very relaxed atmosphere. Bring a $1 bill and get it to stick to the ceiling. Legend has it you will have good success in the gold mine and will return to the saloon

The food was terrible — almost the worst I’ve ever had. The bread tasted like it wasn’t fresh. My friend ordered avocado toast, and it literally turned out to be just a piece of bread with two thin slices of avocado on top, nothing else. They didn’t even give ranch with the potatoes. The restroom was super inconvenient — about 2x2 and very narrow. The interior in the main hall was nice, and if it weren’t for the performer on stage, I would have given it a 1. The first thing I wanted was tasty food, but the menu turned out to be poor, and the food wasn’t good at all.

The Iron Door Saloon in Groveland is absolutely worth a visit! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome right away. I especially have to mention the Garlic Fries – the best I’ve ever had! On top of that, the beer was served ice-cold, just the way it should be. The rustic and authentic atmosphere completed the experience perfectly and made the visit truly memorable. A fantastic place I will definitely come back to!

What a truly authentic and delightful diner! It is so clear as soon as you enter that the owners put so much heart, soul and sincere thought into every part of the diner. From offering a10% discount to seniors 55+ and veterans, to every dish being cooked from scratch--they advise you that your food will take between 20-30 minutes to be served--but it is so worth the wait!! They use excellent quality ingredients--I had a Denver omelet and it had real fresh cut cubes of ham and green and red peppers, onions and two cheese. Absolutely delicious! The roasted potatoes were crispy and fresh and the sourdough toast was exceptional. Even the coffee was excellent. Finally, the service was awesome and the staff were super attentive and friendly. I will make a point of coming back many times to come! Thank you!

On the way to Yosemite we were looking for a decent restaurant with an EV charger nearby. This area had one. Plugged in my car and walked a couple of minutes to have lunch here. The inside looked quaint and just like movies :-D We had ordered a sub sandwich (vegetarian) + salad, chicken ranch wrap + garlic fries + soda. The food tasted good. Veggie sub looked pale on the outside. Most likely it wasn't grilled on all sides. They have items clearly marked vegan and vegetarian. If you are strict vegetarian be sure to ask it at the counter as it seems all the vegetable oil is replaced with tallow (animal fat). Wasn't a fan of that but I didn't have any other option at that point. Overall it was a nice spot on the way to Yosemite and i may come back here again for a quiet meal while charging my car.

You can’t miss this place! The big happy face sign atop the building said “STOP HERE!” So we did. We were staying close to Mariposa for our Yosemite visit. Loved everything about HBD from the staff — friendly and they can hustle! The burgers! Huge and one of the bes. Decor — lots of old albums, local news, posters cover the walls and ceiling. Visitors and locals mix it up. Ordering is easy. Step up to the counter, tell the lady with a smile what you’re craving. Maybe a beer too. Select your table and soon a friendly server emerges from the kitchen — hollers your name and voila — you’ve got yourself a damn fine meal. The place is popular — worth the wait.

Came through town on our way to Yosemite. Had a lovely meal in the evening. The atmosphere was great and the menu extensive. Lots of options for the family. Food came out quickly considering they were busy. Would definitely recommend.

This place is a sleeper. Should be featured on diners, drive-ins, and dives. We had no idea what we were stepping into when staying in Mariposa on our trip to Yosemite, but this place was it. Although we had a limited selection from a huge menu, what we got did not disappoint. Having garlic bread as the bun of a burger (The garlic burger) is genius. The fries were crispy. The beer was cold. The atmosphere was a vibe. We did wait a bit for the food, but it was worth it.

Mariposa local here 🦋 and this is by far, my favorite place for breakfast! Whether we are dining in or getting it to-go, they never disappoint. Even as a vegan, they still have tons of options for me, with a HUGE menu, there’s something for everyone! If friends or family are in town, we are eating at Happy Burger Diner! Oh, and they’re dog friendly. 💜

We LOVED 1850 Restaurant!!! We were here for Memorial Day weekend and stopped in for dinner both nights. Not only was the service amazing- but the food was incredible as well! Even though it was definitely a busy weekend, they had an efficient system where they'd give you a buzzer and you could hangout at the bar or in your car while waiting for an open table. The outdoor seating was great both nights! The second night we were there, we had just finished exploring Yosemite NP and my fiance had proposed to me there!!! The waitresses were so sweet & excited for us and even gave us complimentary champagne. It was such a good day and 1850 restaurant made it such a special night! We will absolutely be stopping back in the next time we're in the area!

We probably got unlucky with our server since it took us more than an hour to get our food. She seemed to have forgotten about our order since the beer wasn’t even served for 30 minutes until we asked for it. The portions were decent but the taste is just ok, basically what you’d expect from a mid tier chain American restaurant. The salmon was cooked nicely quite tender. The fries were too salty and already kind of stale when they brought it out.

The food here was pretty good. I ordered the steak which was very flavorful and a decent portion size. I also got sweet potato fries which had a nice sweet/ salty seasoning and were perfectly crispy. We also ordered the artichoke dip which wasn’t amazing, it tasted mostly like cream cheese but it wasn’t bad. We also tried the burger which was decently good, nothing special but standardly good. The price was reasonable and overall I would recommend. There’s seating inside and out and some bar seating. The staff was nice but didn’t communicate that our appetizer would come out at the same time as our entree. The parking is limited but there is a semi- parking lot.

Small space, a bit expensive, and tried the Shroom burger and the Tri-Tip steak. We are split 50/50 - The Tri-Tip steak was not very good, but should have known BBQ sauce on a steak might take away from the steak. It was also very chewy. But the mashed potatoes were great! The burger - AMAZING! They really had lots of great fresh ingredients, great burger blend, and would absolutely eat the burger again!

We had dinner at the restaurant after we saw the hood rating. Mariposa is a small town with limited choices so after we saw the rating we decided to eat here. The food was ok, but the service is really bad. She must really hated her job. She never introduced herself. Whatever you ask her she just points to the menu. We waited 30 mins to get our food. Food is ok, nothing special, they don’t taste bad but also not spectacular. After she dropped the food and drinks off she never bothered to check back on us again. She walked by our table so many times and never bothered to check if we were ok with the food or if we finished. We sat there for at least 15 mins after we finished and tried couple times to make eye contacts with her she never bothered to look at us. Basically there is no service. And the last tip is don’t order drinks. They charge $8.50 for a small cup of lemonade. They give it a name called “half dome lemonade” that you pay $2.50 for the lemonade, $6.00 on the “half dome”. The picture shows the size of the $8.50 lemonade compared to the water glass. Such a ripoff. It’s a tourist town so they probably don’t care for return customers. Just want to give a true experience review for others. My advice is eat somewhere else.

Absolutely blown away by their shroom burger (medium rare). Will definitely come back for it again, (staff pls don’t change a thing about this). The fries were also really nice, great seasoning (not too salty), ketchup not needed. Sweet potato fries are standard. Shrimp Sando was good as well (not as amazing as the shroom burger though) Service was good 5/5, would come back

Stopped by for lunch on our way to Yosemite. Amazing food and really good service. The hosts were very accommodating with our dog and made outdoor patio clean and warm during light rain. The food was great. We enjoyed the fries and mocktail

This was my first time visiting this place since we were staying at the hotel next door. It’s a huge place with outdoor seating and clean as well. There is a salad bar option, but you can only go once and the plate that you have to use for is very small. The food was ok, seasoning wasn’t that great. Overall service was fantastic, friendly staff, but they can do way better on food. Prices are reasonable and there’s plenty of parking. I’ll probably go to another pit stop next time around.

For the price of BYO omelette and large portion, it’s very reasonable for today’s standards. Mind you, 1.5 usd per veggie of choice so the 14.5 breakfast meal ended up around 20 usd with hash potatoes and bread of your choice. Obviously, the service is lacking, overheard they were short staffed and that’s understandable and noticed frequented by other diners here but servers not so welcoming for outsiders or first time diners. The place is horrendously needing upkeep. The outdated style fits the restaurants name which was acceptable, however, hygiene wise, it’s 1/10. Musty smell and even bathroom was nauseating. I just chose this while on the road due to proximity to CA 140, otherwise I recommend looking for other option to spend 50 dollars for 2 persons

Was camping out of town and told to come here for supplies. I didn't find what I was looking for but what a neat little town. Glad we got to visit. Stopped at Miners because it was the first place we really noticed coming in, hoping for a nice steakhouse experience. While the place could really use some repairs (maybe even upgrades) and a deep clean, the service and food were both good. We had a pizza and the open face turkey sandwich. Menu stated it came with mashed potatoes but there were none. I would have liked about twice the amount of the cranberry sauce given but was very pleased that I got to visit the salad bar to make my side salad myself. The veggies that came with my sandwich were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised with them. I think the food was definitely worth the cost.

This was a pit stop for me, it’s a big place with outdoor seating which I love! we ordered the chicken wrap it was okay. seasoning, then the burger on rye it tasted okay also, maybe adding lettuce and tomatoes is a good idea. fish and chips was recommended and it was Over cooked. Overall the food could use a little more seasoning but great pit stop. All Of the fries was delicious: garlic fries, regular fries and sweet potato fries. Service in the other hand was spectacular:) two thumbs up on that one! Prices are reasonable fish and chips $20 Wrap $20 and burger $20 I would probably try different pit stop next time around!

The restaurant made a great impression! Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and beautiful presentation. Our waiter Elisha was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Thank you so much!!

Hope they are here to stay. Havent had too many things off the menu because their meatloaf has me hooked. Huge portions, best Ive had. Better price than others in the area. Will be back

Spending a couple of days in Mariposa so we've trying out all the places on the strip. This place has been mine and my partners favourite so far. The place is as dinery as it gets (in a good way) and the service and food feels like a warm hug. We ended up getting the wonton nachos, Reuben sandwich and the oriental salad. 5/5 on all.

Great suggestions by the staff to make our dinner gluten free. We do recommend the corn tacos and enchiladas. Stick with the shredded beef and sauteed vegetables, both were excellent. Their shredded chicken was ok flavoring but very dry. Skip the ground beef, it missed the mark.

The Tostado's ground beef wasn't fully cooked. Wouldn't eat it. The Chimichanga was ok, very basic beans, shredded beef and cheese. The pico de gallo was good, but had no salsa. Unfortunately I can't recommend this location.

Passing thru on our way from Sequoia and Kings Canyon to Yosemite. A long day of driving and we were hungry. Half a block off the main drag, a hidden gem. We sat outside, greeted immediately by a great wait staff. Food was more than we could eat. Flavorful. Good GF options for daughter. Charged us up for the rest of the drive. Spent about $23/person. Would go again.

Excellent, authentic Mexican!! We enjoyed our food and house margaritas!

White servers, English music, a “burrito” with tomatoes chopped to the size of an apricot, and unchopped salsa. I was so shocked I was laughing. My Mexican friends told me to run, but we’d already ordered food, so we stayed. It was quite the experience, and I wouldn’t recommend, unfortunately; unless you’re seeking a salad in your burrito and bland food - sorry Mariposa Castillo but it was laughable.

They know hospitality!! We had a day filled with hiking that soon got cancelled by our rental car battery being dead. We were standstill at the house and this place made us food for 7 people and delivered it to us within 35 minutes! Thank you Mariposa Castillo’s, you saved 7 people from starvation 😋 The food was delicious and devoured within what seemed like 10 minutes 😂

My daughter and I were visiting Mariposa, CA, for two nights, and we went here for dinner on our last night in town. The food and service were excellent. The serving sizes were large, and prices were reasonable. We would visit here again the next time we are in town.

Very grungy bar, but it delivered. Great old fashioned. Great beer. The food portions were big! It's a very home in the wall bar, under another restaurant. Just like another diner down the street, we did wait a bit for our food, but overall worth it!

This is such a cool hole in the wall! Edgy, fun, lively, and plenty of ways to keep yourself entertained because let me tell you one thing you are gonna WAIT for your food. We ordered something basic that took super long during a busy night. Our young blonde guy server was kind enough to apologize and offer a free drink so we for sure appreciated that. Would have appreciated it more if wait time wasnt so long. In a small town, I guess that may be to be expected. Really cool local spot. Come here if you want an experience.

My husband and I recently traveled to Mariposa for our destination wedding. We chose to order Hideout Saloon for a post-wedding dinner celebration with our families. To say we were extremely impressed would be an understatement. Gabriel communicated with me throughout the process of planning/ordering the food with such amazing hospitality and kindness. We had pizzas, mac n cheese and dinner salads, and we all absolutely loved the food. The staff at the Hideout Saloon is extremely accommodating and made our wedding dinner an incredible experience. It was our first time in Mariposa, as we all live in West Virginia, and when we go back to visit in the future, we will definitely be back at the Hideout Saloon.

“That’s one of the best meals I’ve ever had.” So said my 11-year-old who has clearly inherited his father’s appreciation for a kick-ass dive bar. Amazing food, lovely friendly locals and a super-welcoming vibe. 10/10, no notes. 🙌

This is probably the most surprising culinary experience I've ever had. My wife and I were looking for something quick to eat and found our way in the Hideout Saloon. It was basically empty when we went but the atmosphere and history was awesome and we ordered what we thought was going to be standard bar food. The Baja tacos I got here were better than many mexican restaurants I've been to in actual Baja cities like Rosarito and Ensenada. They make their own kind tortilla that has a great texture and the fish and sauce was delicious and had the perfect spicy kick. They also have a great beer selection and the staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. I will 1000% come back here and try the rest of the menu.

The vegetarian coconut Ramen with grilled tofu was O MY GOD!!! The best I ever eaten. Tofu made in such a way that I enjoyed every piece of it (never before). Portion was just perfect for me (not too big to over eat, just right to feel happy). Broth was so balanced and rich. My mama said that it is the first food in America for her that she truly enjoyed. And the tables outside in the porch made me enjoying the time of waiting. If again in Mariposa - I will be there for Ramen!

It was a pleasant surprise to find a ramen spot like this in a small mountain town! We ordered the Miso Ramen and the She-Me Ramen. Both came out nicely presented, and the broth was flavorful, rich, and well-balanced, not too salty, just the right amount of depth. The noodles were a bit different from traditional ramen, more like soba noodles, but they worked well with the soup. The restaurant itself is cozy, with a clean and simple setup. Service was friendly and polite. It took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive after ordering, which felt a little long since it wasn’t too busy, but the quality made up for the wait. Overall, a great little find in Mariposa! If you’re looking for something warm and comforting besides the usual burgers or pizza around town, this place is definitely worth a try.

Super tasty gluten free ramen! So glad we found this place and the service and food were both excellent. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for delicious noodles - both gluten free and with gluten! The chicken and pork were both fantastic!

If you are American, you will love it. But if you are Asian, avoid this place at all costs. The ramen is nothing authentic but a weird fusion with American style. Noodle is definitely undercooked which is difficult to chew. It’s like putting pasta into soup. The soft boiled egg is over-marinated and salty. Charshu is pretty okay but it only comes with one slice given this price. Don’t hold high hope for a real ramen here in Yosemite.

Besides the cold and the stressed waiters (cause there were many people), we liked the place. The rahmen was not bad. The one my husband chose did not taste of much though. Mine was really good! It was really cold inside, so I had to wear a jacket. There is little space outside..

As my kids would say the ramen here was FIRE or back in my days tha Bomb!😂🤤. Texas ramen places need to get pointers from these guys. Best ramen i have had, even my husband who is still warming up to it liked. Only thing missing for me was the Thai tea lol. But their flavor teas were refreshing.

Oh my word! This was the best ramen bowl I have ever had. We are driving on Hwy 49, through the gold country and stumbled upon this restaurant. We had the Coconut Curry Ramen with marinated soft eggs with kimchi and, there is a flavor explosion taking place in my mouth. The service was excellent. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

Best coffee shop in Mariposa! Barista was super nice and helpful for deciding what to order and explaining specialty drinks. They make all their syrups from scratch! I loved my PSL, one of the best I’ve had - it’s more spice forward than pumpkin which I prefer. My husband got the seasonal piña colada matcha and really liked it too. Light and refreshing flavor. Both were perfect sweetness - just sweet enough, but not too sweet.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The caffeine beverages were DELICIOUS just the right amount of favor not too sweet, not bitter. My friend said it was the best pumpkin spice latte she ever had. Food was all tasted very fresh and wonderful. Sat outside and it was a comfy and inviting.

Truly a gem of a place! The camper latte with marshmallows, whipped cream, and crushed graham crackers was so delicious and yet not too sweet. The granola bowl was also a treat with a mix of seasonal fruits from figs to berries. Wonderful way to start the morning!

Stopped by to get coffee while traveling to Yosemite Park. The service was very fast, staff was friendly and they had some nice art pieces hanging on the wall. It's definitely a place for bacon lovers.

Their food was so good! Had lox, ricotta and egg, and granola bowl. Would recommend all of them.

Stopped here on our drive out of Yosemite and I'm not exaggerating when I say that the Sticks Latte is the best latte I've ever had. As someone who loves the flavor of black licorice, this drink was so perfectly balanced. The only negative is that this shop is located so far from where I live 😭 I'll be planning a trip back just for this latte I swear. It's also a very cute little coffee shop in a cute mountain town, and the food was tasty and well priced.

Loved the rustic setting of the coffee shop. They have a creative collection of coffees. The greeneries surrounding the shop are beautiful and perfect for having a relaxed sip of coffee.

This place was / is a gem! The food was amazing and so was the coffee! The best part though was the barista. She was incredibly personable and really made the experience. Even shared some cool things to do around town! Highly recommend will definitely be making it a stop any time we are in the area.

This is definitely a sweet spot to stop on your way to Yosemite or as you leave heading back home. The bounty of plants and seedlings and flower varieties reflects the local area. Try a lavender green tea or a Matcha with coconut milk for something new and wander outside or visit the thrift shop or the art gallery and find something new.

Mountain Sage coffee has everything: great coffee, earrings and things by local artists, squashy armchairs, books, a busy community board, and a very kind staff member/barista who discussed the menu with us at length before we ordered. I only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the ambiance! Not pictured: the delicious frozen lemon bars we devoured in about five seconds flat.

Definition of "hidden gem" that is right in front of you. Snuggled in a garden environment of nature, it has tucked away a variety of local treats. A boutique of sorts with art, clothing, and more. The house is full of options and fun. The service is always super friendly and helpful. I truly enjoy supporting local businesses like this one.

The food was delicious but too pricy for the small size, especially the quiche of the day. On top of that, half of the menus weren't available. But the rooms are cozy, the atmosphere is nice.

Stopped in here for coffee after a few days hiking in Yosemite, great coffee and service. The coffee was so good I went back and got a 1/2lb fresh ground to enjoy on our Californian road trip. It was just as delicious in my aeropress. Thank you for the friendly service and we will be back when we return to your beautiful part of the world.

We discovered this restaurant on our way to Yosemite National Park. Since we departed to the park quite early, and the restaurant was open early, we had breakfast and coffee there. The owner was very friendly, the coffee was excellent, very fragrant, and the breakfast sandwiches were much better than those at fast food restaurants. Surprisingly, the overall price was cheaper than fast food, and the restaurant's decor was quite unique; you could tell the owner must really like ponies, haha.

a wonderful spot on our way into the National Parks. the girl working (I wish I remembered her name) was so sweet, talking to the students who were in starting school that day. quick + easy breakfast sandwich + the coffee was delicious.

Pony Express is a perfect stop from Yosemite for a coffee break. The staff is very attentive to your order and so sweet. The seating is cozy inside and they even have outside patio for dogs. Most importantly, their cold brew and latte were on point! Highly recommend.

Their lattes are delicious and they have so may flavors. The lady at the front said we could chose two flavors which was really nice. Super friendly staff!

Very delicious food. ⭐️ We had the Grove House Burger, the West Coast Burger, and the vegetarian burger. All three were incredibly tasty. The atmosphere at Grove House is truly special and invites you to stay and relax. We would come back again and again. 🍔❤️

This place is incredible. Dog friendly. Cool ambiance and vibes. Kind and attentive staff and the food and cocktails are next level. I am literally obsessed with this place the food is THAT good. I would marry the fried chicken sandwich if it was legal. Nate gets great musicians in and my family loves bingo here. An absolute blessing to our small rural community!

I got back from a long day of hiking and didn't feel like driving to Mariposa for dinner. I went right when they opened and got a small (7", 4 slices) River Special. Came out pretty fast, maybe 15 minutes? Crispy crust. Decent pizza. Not worth $18 though. But, I guess I'm paying for convenience.

Great pizza and fair price for location and the fact there is not many options within 30-40 minutes. Pizza had a great crispness to the very bottom of the crust and was perfectly cooked. Had great flavor, especially the chicken Alfredo pizza. Employees were very friendly.

Pizza was pretty good and staff was attentive and helpful. Crust was cooked well and the pizza had good flavor overall. Personally, I thought there was too much cheese and it overpowered the taste of the pizza sauce and other ingredients, but my wife thought it was fine. The interior is dingy and dirty - not a place you really want to sit and eat. Ironically for a pizza place, you have to ask for parmesan and red pepper flakes. They have a side table with ketchup, mayo, mustard, and soy sauce. Not sure why those are there and why the basic pizza toppings aren’t. I saw multiple people look confused and ask for parmesan and red pepper flakes. Paid $53 for two medium pizzas which is way overpriced but expected in this area.

Mixed experience at Parkside Pizza. The pizza crust was actually really good - nice texture and flavor that showed they know how to make a proper base.Unfortunately, they went way overboard with the cheese. It was just too much and overwhelmed everything else on the pizza. What could have been a great pizza ended up being just okay because of the cheese overload.The space is pretty cramped with not much room to sit, and it's not cozy at all. Feels more like grabbing a quick bite than enjoying a meal in a comfortable setting.

We ate here twice whilst staying at Yosemite View Lodge (the hotel that this restaurant is located at). The pizzas are REALLY good, they are expensive in my opinion (about $25 once you add a few toppings) but there are very limited options in the area. We tried a pepperoni pizza one evening and a pesto chicken the next. The staff are helpful and they offer unlimited refills on soft drinks and all the condiments you could want. There is also a nice outdoor seating area which we ate at one evening and the other we took the pizza back to our room balcony. I would definitely suggest eating here over the restaurant next door.

Great coffee and unique place to visit. A very charming place and friendly pwner. Walk into to the wonderful smell of their roasted coffees. We are addicted to their coffees and have jt shipped to Texas. Favorites are the 49er blend and mariposa morning, but all of them we have tried are awesome. We take is everywhere with us as well.

My son brought me to have coffee at his favorite place. I really enjoyed meeting Gerry and talking to him about how he makes coffee. I gotta say my family loves e The coffees they offer. I am a happy customer and order almost monthly pounds of coffee for my family.

Wonderful, quaint coffee shop/roasterie. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in choosing our coffee. The coffee is some of the best I’ve ever tried. Highly recommend Amelia’s or the honey blend but I imagine you can’t go wrong with any of their coffee. :) Love that they ship coffee as well if you aren’t local. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem with heart and rustic charm, Mariposa coffee is the real deal. We stumbled upon Mariposa coffee and it’s safe to say we’re hooked. This is a family owned coffee shop. There’s a sense of care and authenticity that you just don’t find in most coffee shops thanks to Gerry the owner. Gerry is incredible at his coffee roasting craft and Jordan was amazing at the counter sharing expertise about their coffee. Jordan took her time to help guide our coffee selection. They are warm, welcoming and clearly passionate about what they do. Their coffee is fresh, delicious and most importantly non-toxic. You can truly feel the difference. No jittery crash, no weird aftertaste, just smooth, rich flavor that speaks of real quality and ethical sourcing. We ended up buying a ton of beans, not just for ourselves, but as gifts for our friends and family too! Everyone we’ve shared it with has had the same reaction, “Where did you get this coffee?” Mariposa coffee isn’t just a place, it’s an experience. It’s rare to find something that feels deeply personal and professionally excellent, but Gerry has created exactly that. Thanks for the awesome coffee Gerry & Jordan!

What a fantastic place. We made a stop after seeing the sign for coffee. We arrived and asked for 2 cups of coffee and quickly realized this is not a frequent request. The owner, who is extremely accommodating, made us 2 cups of coffee to go!! Also grabbed some roasted beans. Delicious!!! And thank you sir for the Johnny Cash.

This is a coffee roasters NOT a coffee shop. However, when we surprised the owner on a weekday afternoon, he was gracious enough to brew us coffee in his house (which is behind the shop) and bring it to the shop in to-go cups. He told us how he started the company 21 years and got his big break when Yosemite National Park asked him to cater an event. Lots of cute things in the shop - t-shirts, books by his daughter (a local author) and of course, many types of coffee.

Plenty of young folks and it feels like there is a party going on during holidays and weekends. Country music and dance in the bar. If you feel overwhelmed, there is a quieter spot down below. Although some rude folks might throw their drinks from the balcony.... So look up 🙄

Great vibe! If you're looking for a spot that feels like a home bar with a great selection of localish brews you found a spot! Stopped by twice in the two days I was staying in town, each time a good crowd was in and it felt very warm (service wise). Would stop in again for a beer next time, PS. I heard the pizza was phenomenal from several people, but they have limited quantity.

What a place, we were 2 brits looking for a few pints and some food. We stumbled across the Alley, Mary and Col were incredibly welcoming. They have a great selection of beers which you can try before you buy, as they will also recommend different options. They have a selection of pizzas which are really nice also. The Alley has a very local vibe and all of them are super friendly and welcoming. If in Mariposa a few beers and a pizza in this bar is a must.

Came across this place on our trip to Yosemite. Great bar with excellent choice of craft beers and also good selection of wines. There are bar snacks (chips, olives, pretzels ) and also there is pizza available. You can sit inside where the music and atmosphere are relaxed and friendly. It’s not too expensive either. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Food was ridiculously pricey. Pizza was 22.00 each for a small not that great pizza. I bought 2 pizzas for my family and my kids hate both boxes to themselves and were still hungry after. Service was friendly but for a bar thats no bigger than my bathroom I couldn't see why they would have a had time taking care of others.

Nice small town local bar with great atmosphere and service! The pizza was a bit too pricey imo and I wasn't a big fan of the crust (I prefer crusts with more gluten development). Also, all the pizzas were the same price which felt strange. A margherita pizza should be cheaper than a pizza with 5 toppings.

If you are looking for a cosy local pub in a country town, this is the place. Amazing pizza, fast and friendly service. Definitely give it a try. 2 pizzas and 4 drinks came to $50 only and we had the leftover pizza for breakfast! Yum!

The market is cute. Not a lot of options. But not totally unreasonable prices given where it is. I saw one of the workers (kind of an older guy) throw his cigarette on the ground outside and walk away from it. You would think people that live in this environment given its history would want to treat it better… made me sad. They are lucky they are the only grocery store in town or I wouldn’t support their business again.

OK, they have everything a snacking camper or hiker could possible want. It was kind of a picnic, snack paradise. A few bucks and some uninhibited hunger and you'll have a lot of fun. My wife had to practically drage me out! Tiny shop and they have great groceries!

This place sells perfect cinnamon rolls baked on site. They are warm, crispy, soft and tender. Just the right amount of cinnamon and glaze. Best of all, they somehow managed not to leave my fingers sticky. I got two large pastries plus two national beans jerky stops for$13. Seems like a fair price to me. If you're looking for a light breakfast you can eat on the road, don't skip the Mono Market.

The best market in a very small town maybe isn't saying much when it's the only market. But these people do a very good job. They have a really good variety of foods & supplies. Good fresh produce section with many organic options, gluten free stuff, deli choices, meats, desserts. I find it a really impressive market for this little Eastern Sierra. Yosemite outpost of Lee Vining.

$55 for 3 6 packs of beer. The burritos taste like dog food.

If you need spices or some random nonperishable food item, this should have it. Got meat, fruit, and veggies. Prices are as you would expect. Lots of parking, right on the 395. Entrance, aisles, and counter are all accessible.

Seems pricey even given the remote location. Purchased milk in August with a June expiration date! Assuming they are freezing inventory and thawing as needed. Didn't have a clue as to how old the milk was. I recommend just using this store for emergency items.

Great healthy grocery store in town. There’s a cafe attached that has a great menu. We didn’t order food but bought groceries. Definitely a bit priced on the higher side but has healthy foods if you’re looking for it.

Cute market with a cafe that sells sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. Perfect for stopping by and packing a picnic on your way up to Yosemite National Park! I believe they open at 8-9am, prices can be a bit steep but everything is top quality. Their market and cafe have tons of options for vegans and vegetarians. Highly recommend!

We stopped here for breakfast the morning we checked out of our hotel in Yosemite and would highly recommend others go here too. The lady at the till was really friendly, the prices are so reasonable and the food was very flavoursome. Although it is technically a shop there is a seating area so you can enjoy your food inside and not feel rushed. We both ordered the bagby bagels - delicious!

Had an amazing lunch here today and the best service! Had the mountain laurel and amazing bowl of coconut lentil soup and the service was out of this world! Thanks again ladies! ❤️

What a pleasant surprise to find en route to Yosemite. Not only was all the produce fresh but they had a such a range of organic and gluten free products I was in heaven. Not to mention the deli which had gluten free sandwiches and quiche!

Wow - to echo other reviews, this place is an unexpected gem. It's packed full of popular health food brands, attractive produce, and helpful COVID-conscious staff. Everything was clean and well priced. Definitely stop here!

It took well over an hour of our time to wait in line to get coffee. It was good. We also got a muffin. This took away an hour of our sightseeing in the park. For day 2, we bought a starbucks cold brew from the shop in El Portal and drank that. This was a Saturday morning in early August.

If you really need something more than black coffee, this is your only option in Curry Village. Pete's Coffee is the store inside the coffee corner. There is a small seating area inside. There is usually a very long line of addicted coffee drinkers. Coffee here is very expensive.

The staff here are unbelievably rude — not just unfriendly, but openly dismissive and unprofessional. I waited twenty minutes in line while they acted like customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason they have jobs. By the time I finally got my coffee (which was awful), I was more annoyed with their attitude than anything else. This place desperately needs people who actually want to work with the public.

The drip tastes over extracted, the water was probably too hot for the grind size. The service was good and staff was friendly. Unfortunately, their espresso machines were down during my visit.

The hot chocolate was hot and creamy, though a little weak. But the pastries were pretty good. We had the Nutella croissant and an apple pinwheel. I loved the fire though, and it was cozy and warm.

You know what is a total treat? Being able to get a reliable coffee beverage early in the morning in YOSEMITE! While all the other food choices are mostly the work of Aramark and therefore somewhat bland, this is Peet's Coffee. I may prefer Starbucks but Peet's comes in a close second. This is located in what used to be Coffee Corner in the Curry Village dining area. It had a bit of a line but it moved fast and I had my iced tuxedo mocha with an extra shot in less than 10 minutes. The employees were cheery and helpful...and my coffee was superb. The only reason I give it 4 stars is due to the fact that it's located in Curry Village...which means if you're at the Ahwahnee like I was or the Yosemite Lodge you're gonna need to walk, bike or drive. It only took me 10-15 minutes of strolling through the most beautiful place on earth to get the morning drink I was craving.

The best latte one can get at Curry Village. It being a highly valued commodity, be prepared to queue - especially during the weekend. Staff was surprisingly friendly for such hectic times. Unfortunately milk was too hot and I burned my tongue, but thet was my own mistake I guess 🙃

Best taco truck in town! Service varies depending on staff. Try the bean and asada burrito or the tacos. Honestly try anything! It will be good. The horchata always hit the spot! PS They don’t always answer the phone but are there when the hours say.

If I could put a 0 I would they where so rude to you I had to reach in and get the bag with my food while thing where falling over she expected to get a tip I don’t know her name she was just rude and disrespectful and Honorary and they put sauces in your food you didn’t ask for The cheese was clumpy like they just shredded it on I recommend not to get and go to sals taco truck. 0 stars.we Had to go back and return and complain they were barely even acknowledging us And they said, would you like any onions and we said no just been and cheese, but they gave us sauce that had onions in it. Zero stars.

The BEST burrito supreme 🌯 I've EVER had. My brother took me here for his favorite tacos. The burrito supreme sounded good and it didn't disappoint. Full of delicious flavor & I got 3 meals out of it. I won't pass this gem up each time I visit.

Food was mediocre at BEST. Had the taco salad and burrito, 3 times I asked for extra green sauce on the side, even paid for the extra which was $.75 each. Was assured it was in the bad, which it obviously was not. Will not be going bak there again nor recommending to others!!!

So glad we found some delicious tacos in Mariposa! The cashier was nice and the service was really fast. The tacos were a great size and the prices were decent. Highly recommend this taco truck!

THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE I HAVE EVER WENT TO IN MY LIFE. I ordered a burrito i said no tomatoes and just right after i ordered i went back and said no onions, the lady told me my burrito was done already so i would have onions on my burrito so i waited 5 minutes my burrito was still not out i asked her if its not done please no onions she continued to tell me my food was done, my food never came out so i told her i would like a refund she told me she has to call the owner to refund me because she couldn’t do it. I told her i was on lunch and i was on limited time the lady ONCE again lied and told me the owner is 2 minutes away the owner(Jessica)didnt show up until 10 minutes later when she got there she was yelling and cussing me out told me she refunded my money i asked for a receipt she told me it was digital and she would have to send it to my phone never came i told her i need some type proof my money was going to be refunded back to my debit card since she couldnt give me cash. She couldn’t send receipt for watever reason so she said she was going to screenshot from her phone and send it to me directly i asked to see the last four number on the card come to find out it wasnt my card. She trying to tell me i used America Express i told her i used my debit card i dont have america express, so after i was at the truck for over 30 minutes she decided to give me my money back in cash which ive been asking for smh wasted my whole lunch and they food is definitely not all that its really giving two stars. because if sal was open on weekends i definitely would have went there like always never going back there again. Thank you Jessica for being so rude and disrespectful to me after i came to spend my money with you may god bless you on how to be a professional owner and not a ghetto one

We stopped in Mariposa after driving down 49 and needed stretch our legs and walk the dogs. Luckily we came across this taco truck behind the museum. The staff were super friendly and they kindly gave a homeless man some food and drink for free. We ordered a pastor burrito and an asada burrito supreme. Both came out quickly and for a small burrito, the pastor burrito was quite a good size. Just meat, cheese, onion, and cilantro. The pastor was seasoned super nice and almost a bit sweet, but perfectly balanced with the onion and cilantro. The asada burrito supreme definitely lived up to its name. The hot salsa left a nice lingering spice that was occasionally cooled by a bite with sour cream. The asada was delicious as well, but not quite as good as the pastor. I'm glad we stopped here and walked around to find this place.
