The National Automobile Museum in Reno, Nevada is a must-visit for car enthusiasts and history buffs. With over 220 antique and vintage cars on display, the museum offers themed exhibits that provide educational and historical insights. From classic American muscle cars to European sports and racing vehicles, the collection showcases decades of automotive innovation. The museum also serves as a unique event space for various occasions such as corporate training, weddings, receptions, and special events.
The National Car Museum is a phenomenal destination! Even as someone who isn’t a huge car enthusiast, I was captivated by the impressive collection. Each vehicle is displayed with detailed plaques outlining its unique history, manufacturing origins, historical uses, and original cost. The 1938 Phantom Corsair in Gallery 4, valued at over $2 million as of April 2025, is a showstopper! From movie cars to race cars, emergency vehicles, and fire trucks, there’s something for everyone. This non-profit museum, closely tied to the Harrah Casino and Resort, also features an amazing children’s play area, making it a great spot for those with kids or grandkids. I spent over two hours here, and the time flew by. Two thumbs up for anyone interested in automotive history—you won’t be disappointed!

Wow! We were excited about seeing this place, but had no idea how encompassing and incredible the collections and it were. So many things to see. So many incredible stories. Cannot recommend the docent tour that starts at 1:30 PM daily enough! Our tour guide was excellent. Very informative and brought things to life in a chronological history. It was a great experience. You’ll need lots of time to explore all of the galleries. Well worth it!!!

Beneath Reno’s sky so wide and clear, The National Automobile Museum draws near. A dazzling world of steel and chrome, Where every car feels like home. From vintage rides of days gone past, To sleek machines built to last, Each gleaming hood, each polished wheel, Whispers stories time can’t steal. Elvis’s ride, a shining star, And racecars built to speed afar, Classic curves and engines roar, Legends live forevermore. Kids laugh and play, exploring all, In this grand museum’s hallowed hall, Where history and passion meet, And every visit feels complete. So come and see this treasured place, A shining gem in Reno’s space, Where wheels turn dreams into art, And car lovers find their heart.
Yarick S — Google review
I absolutely love this museum! I got married here in 2017. I now have a membership and I bring my daycare kids once a month! The new child's play area is perfect for high energy kiddos!
Kayla C — Google review
The National Automobile Museum in Reno is an absolute must-see for anyone visiting the area. Located downtown along the Truckee River, this world-class museum celebrates the golden age of the automobile with one of the most impressive and beautifully displayed car collections in the country. The museum was born from the legendary collection of Bill Harrah, the gaming pioneer who spent decades amassing more than 1,400 classic cars. After his passing, the community came together to save a portion of his incredible collection, which now forms the heart of this museum. The result is a stunning tribute to automotive history, innovation, and artistry — all under one roof. The layout is fantastic, guiding visitors through themed galleries that feel like walking through time. You can stroll past early horseless carriages from the 1890s, gleaming luxury models from the Roaring Twenties, powerful muscle cars, and even one-of-a-kind celebrity vehicles. Some of the most famous pieces include the 1907 Thomas Flyer that won the New York to Paris Race in 1908, Elvis Presley’s 1973 Cadillac Eldorado, Frank Sinatra’s sleek 1961 Ghia, and the quirky “Jerrari” — a Jeep Wagoneer powered by a Ferrari V12 engine. Each car has its own story, and the exhibits bring those stories to life with detailed displays and historical settings. What really makes the National Automobile Museum stand out is the people. The staff and volunteers are friendly, passionate, and extremely knowledgeable. They clearly love what they do and are always happy to share fascinating facts or answer questions. Their enthusiasm makes the experience feel personal and engaging, whether you’re a lifelong car enthusiast or just someone who appreciates craftsmanship and history. The entire space is clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed — perfect for families, travelers, and locals alike. Every corner of the museum offers something interesting, from classic designs to rare engineering marvels. It’s easy to spend a few hours exploring and still feel like you’ve only scratched the surface. In short, the National Automobile Museum is one of Reno’s true treasures — a place filled with history, heart, and horsepower. A definite must-visit when you’re in town.

Wow! We just had the best tour ever! Mr. John Plow explained, in beautiful detail, about many of the amazing cars in the museum and the history surrounding them. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to bringing more visitors back with us again.

Awesome museum with a gorgeous collection. The best part is their collection of Ed Big Daddy Roth vehicles, including the Beatnik Bandit, one of the most important custom cars ever made.

Museums
Nestled just south of downtown Reno, the Nevada Museum of Art is a must-visit destination for art lovers and culture enthusiasts alike. This accredited museum boasts an impressive array of contemporary art, altered landscape photography, and traditional Western art. Although it may be small in size, it offers a rich selection of both permanent and traveling exhibits that captivate visitors with their diversity.
It’s not very large but absolutely jam packed with awesome exhibits! Definitely worth the time to take and explore. The Ichthyosaurus exhibit is phenomenal and I felt like a kid exploring it. They have a cute cafe (didn’t eat; can’t rate the food) but it was packed and a nice sitting area in the lobby. Gift shop was reasonably priced for a museum.
Jamie T — Google review
Nice museum. $15 entry fee. Free parking. Gift shop inside. No magnets or stickers :( Not busy at all. The art inside was interesting. I expected more, we were a little bit bored and hope they expand it.

Stunning museum. Excellent curatorial, education, and installation work. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the Art is top notch.

Historic museum always different art work and pieces to look at never disappoints. Also free every second Saturday of the month

I was fortunate enough to visit while the Dorothea Lange exhibit was there, and it was incredible. The Judith Lowry exhibit was just stunning. The museum has been recently renovated, and the gathering spaces were open and inviting. We visited two rooftop areas that are used for events with a great view of the city and valley. The ichthyosaur exhibit was very well presented with the video, fascinating stuff. My daughter was quite happy with the plush ichy she got from the well-stocked gift shop. I was a little disappointed that there were so few people there. With such a diverse selection of exhibits (Langston Hughes, Aboriginal art!), where were all the visitors? Anyway, I loved it and highly recommend a visit. Patronize the arts in every city you visit if you can!
W. W — Google review
Great museum with very interesting exhibits. Friendly staff. Free with NARM membership.

They had an excellent collection of Dorothea Lange photographs, a brilliant portrait of Ella Fitzgerald by Beauford Delaney, and an impressive collection of paintings by Judith Lowry. I think other reviewers here have been harsh. I quite enjoyed my afternoon at the Nevada Museum of Art.

Walked from the airport on my layover. Totally worth it. I wish I could've stayed longer. The Langston Hughes exhibit was my favorite.

Observatories & Planetariums
Fleischmann Planetarium, located on the University of Nevada campus, is a captivating destination for families and space enthusiasts. It offers an array of educational and entertaining experiences, including hands-on exhibits in the Exhibit Hall, mesmerizing shows on the 10-meter Dome Theater screen, and a Science Store for souvenirs. The planetarium boasts a rich history as the world's first to project full-dome movies in its unique dome-shaped theater.
Small but excellent educational activity. Admission is only a few dollars and parking is free on weekends. I have elementary aged kids and this place is perfect. We can stop in, watch a dome show, and spend 15 minutes learning something new. It is easy to access, so we come more often and enjoy it more. I used to visit a large planetarium in Chicago that was impressive but expensive and an all day commitment with challenging parking. This community planetarium is simple, affordable, and welcoming. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful.
Daun V — Google review
I visited on Friday 20, 2024 in December. Small but out of this world. Bring the kids in your life and your inner child too. There’s (very limited and free) reserved parking across the foot bridge on the third floor of the parking structure. Snag a permit from the staff and be sure to read the signs to prevent a parking ticket. Apply those savings in the little gift shop to support the museum.
Seventh R — Google review
Extremely disappointing experience. The planetarium was advertised as free, but when we arrived, we were unexpectedly charged at the entrance - no explanation, just a demand for payment. Most of the machines and interactive exhibits were broken or out of order. Honestly, there was nothing interesting to see. To make things worse, the place was filled with random items that had nothing to do with astronomy - like a sarcophagus, Iron Man masks, and other bizarre decorations. It felt more like a chaotic storage room than an educational space. Total waste of time and money. We came expecting a meaningful and inspiring experience about space and science, and instead got a messy, disorganized letdown. Would not recommend.
Maria — Google review
I really enjoyed the full dome presentation, such a cool and unique experience! The space is small and cozy, which makes it feel really personal. The guide was super knowledgeable and shared so much great info. I also loved checking out the displays and exhibits. Overall, it made for a really fun and relaxing evening!

The Star Wars precursor to the Roddenberry awards for the best short science sci-fi film festival. This year was absolutely amazing. We had a fantastic time. The winner was MT Nestor !! the Star Wars effects were great the Director and host was fantastic. Everyone was very nice and costumes were had.!! The super tall guy in black, Lord Vader, was intimidating as usual ! All the films we got to watch were wonderful really all-around an amazing night!!! thank you to the Fleishman Planetarium at UNR!!

I’ve loved the Planetarium since I was a kid! It’s such a fun and unique experience, perfect for kids to learn a little science while having a great time. The shows are always fascinating and really affordable too. The kids have a blast with the exhibits and the gift shop every time we go. Such a great place!

Awesome place to visit if you’re into space exploration! The show presentation room is super nice, and while the exhibit area is small, it’s really informative. Plus, free parking on the weekends is a nice bonus!

The Wilbur D. May Center is a year-round destination located in the Rancho San Rafael Park, offering a museum filled with exotic artifacts, an arboretum, and botanical gardens. Named after Reno philanthropist Wilbur May, the museum showcases his international artifact collection from his global travels. The botanical garden features numerous plant species from around the world, including rare specimens, while the 13-acre arboretum displays diverse trees, rock gardens, waterfalls, and wetlands.
Lovely place, with a rich history and a huge collection of artifacts. A super friendly staff makes your visit a pleasure and very informative. Go with a lot of time and check the amazing arboreum around!
Hanike T — Google review
I took my family. We did a scavenger hunt through the exhibits. It was hyped up to me as a major kind of museum. It is small for a museum but large for a rich mans collection of things. It's interesting and the area around the outside of the museum is very nice for a walk. We enjoyed it.
Blue C — Google review
Dragon Lights are amazing! Nice little walk to see displays & watch the children & adults smile in awe of it! The only bad part was the parking.
Patricia L — Google review
Incredible story of Wilbur D. May, showcasing some of his vast collection from his decades of world travel. A very talented adventurer, song writer, rancher, soldier and artist this collection from other cultures he visited is worth your time to visit. We spent about 90 minutes here but you may want to take longer. Consider visiting here as well as walk the beautiful surrounding grounds.
James B — Google review
What an amazing arboretum! The grounds are huge and beautifully kept, with such a great mix of plants and trees. Whether you’re a total plant lover or just want a peaceful walk in nature, this is the place to go in Northern Nevada. The staff is super friendly and really enjoys working with school and educational groups ,definitely a great spot for a fun science field trip, too!
Yvonne J — Google review
The Wilbur D. May Center includes both an arboretum and an interesting museum highlighting the life of Wilbur. The arboretum is free to visit, except at night in the fall when the lantern festival is going. To visit the festival is a bit pricey. The museum is reasonably priced ($5 for a senior). We found the gardens to be peaceful and even discover the remnants of what rides that were once an amusement park. The museum contains numerous artifacts from the travels of Wilbur and a large number of taxidermy animals such as tigers, giraffes and other large game animals. I was shocked to see so many…… I found the story of Wilbur and his life quite interesting.
Susan H — Google review
A well run children's museum with interactive exhibits. We saw the dinosaur exhibit and we were informed that the candy land exhibit is no longer occuring. Please call ahead if your unsure, staff is polite and the museum has a stamp pass for kids or groups. ADA accessible
Adrian B — Google review
I was not expecting such a variety or quantity of unusual items. The taxidermy alone would have been worth it, but there are extra cultural items like masks and weaponry that were just fascinating. The Arboretum is gorgeous and huge. Pretty sure I only got through some of it, and I would go back just to explore outside more. Can't recommend enough, any plant or bird lover would have a great time enjoying all the wildlife.

Located in downtown Reno, "The Discovery" is a state-of-the-art science and technology museum that offers interactive exhibits and temporary displays. Opened in 2012, it has become a popular attraction for both locals and visitors. The museum focuses on technology, engineering, science, math, and art. It features hands-on exhibits such as an anatomy experience showcasing how bodies function, a Smithsonian laboratory exploring invention and marketing, and the "cloud climber," an interactive area teaching about clouds and rainfall.
I love this place. It was just my husband and myself this time, but I would love to bring my kids and Grandkids here. Lots to see and do. The entrance cost was only 15$ per person, great value. Be sure to hit up their gift shop, it's got a bunch of cool stuff for sale.

I love being a member of this museum. I can bring the grandkids back anytime. Sometimes we are here for only an hour, others several hours and we bring a lunch. The first picture is my grandson almost 4 years ago, he is now 5. Watching him grow up in this museum and rediscover things here is so wonderful. He loves the NASA room and he and his brother (4)love the robotic rooms. Was the first time for the 1 year old. The boys love ,love, love the bubbles days and storytelling. Thank you for offering the passes that allow me to bring my grandchildren in anytime. Can't wait to start signing them up for camp! I do wish you had a place for us to put our lunch boxed/small cooler bags so we didn't have to run out to the car with all the kids and back in again. Especially when it gets cold out.

We love this museum! Lots to enjoy for both kids and adults. We especially love the area where kids can play with the water and boats. I only wish their little kid play area was bigger.

We had an amazing time at The Discovery in Reno! It’s the perfect mix of fun and learning — our kids were completely hooked on the hands-on exhibits, and even us adults couldn’t stop exploring. Super clean, friendly staff, and tons to see and do. A must-visit spot for families in Reno!

The Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts is a unique and impressive theater located in downtown Reno. It features a wide variety of performances from ballet and opera to Broadway plays. If you're looking for an entertaining night out, the Pioneer Center is definitely worth checking out!
This is always one of the best theaters to see shows that is deceptively larger than it looks from the outside. They have tons of volunteers that help you find your seat and the seats are very comfortable.
Edward H — Google review
Parking situation is absolutely horrible. Most of the staff was nice. They will not let you back inside the event from the restrooms if there is a song playing and the elderly ushers will Naruto run at you if your phone lights up inside or you try to take a photo while you are seated and tell you to turn it off.
Sarah — Google review
All seats have excellent views with comfortable cushy seats! This is an amazing historical theater. You enter at street level, but the theater is below. Love this intimate theater that has Broadway shows and local events 😍

I always enjoy my time at the Pioneer Center and am so grateful to have access to a quality theater experience. The staff always go above and beyond to make our transitions as quick and easy as possible despite how huge the crowds can be! All of Reno is thirsty for new experiences, and the Pioneer always provides. Some of our best memories are getting dolled up and inspired for each performance, and we'll definitely be back for more. Thank you for everything you do!

I remember back in the day my class from sun valley elementary took a field trip here and it was great I still have those memories to this day! Boy how time Flys I forgot what musical we seen but you should of seen all of our little faces and eyes back then we where amazed by the women and men performed on stage that day it was cool. When it came time to leave and go back to school we didn't want to leave at all and this place was nice and let us bring in our packed lunches and let us enjoy. Because of all these positive experiences I will never forget this place at all kinda brings tears to my eyes because how well us children were treated that day thank you from the bottom of my heart! I'm now 36 years old that's how long ago it was.

Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, located in northern Reno, spans nearly 600 acres and offers a diverse landscape including wetland habitat, pasture grasses, and mowed lawns. The southern portion features various facilities such as volleyball courts, playgrounds, picnic areas, a dog park, hiking and biking paths. Additionally, it houses the Wilbur D. May Museum showcasing an extensive collection of artifacts from around the world.
The balloon races is an event I loved taking my daughter to. Family friendly, things are a bit pricey even though the event itself is free. But it seems like everything is pricey these days. Still a fun event! We also went to the Dragon Lights this year. I'd never been before, but it was amazing! My daughter, my parents and I had a wonderful time. Lots of people and parking was terrible, but there is a shuttle that goes from the front of the event all the way out to the last parking lot, so that was awesome 👌!

It was a beautiful visit even in the winter. The museum is amazing! I will have to come back to spend more time. There is so much to learn and see. Photos don't do this place, Justice! I didn't post photos of the museum because air didn't want to ruin the surprise. Definitely check it out, not your average park museum. There are also dragons!! The staff is passionate, friendly, and willing to help teach.

The best about this park is Wilbur D. May Museum. A cute small but very interesting museum. Lots of play & picnic area in the park. The place is world renowned for its annual famous Ballon Races in August. Love its central location around UNR as well.

This park is a staple or Reno. Having been born and raised here, I have so many memories from this place. I love the events that take place here and the parks are fun for the kids. It's also a nice place to walk. The reason for 3 stars is because it's really starting to smell and the bathroom situation is unexceptable. The regular bathrooms are always closed and the portable restrooms are extremely unmanaged. They were all full to the brim and out of toilet paper and sanitation. Today, it was heartbreaking to see a little girl about 6 years old screaming in pain because she needed to go potty so badly that her tummy was hurting. The mommy side of me is pissed by this. She was too scared to use the portable restroom for reasons I previously stated and she had no other options. This is UNEXCEPTABLE Reno. We need to do better for these families and children that come here to play.

Idlewild Park, located along the Truckee River, offers a variety of attractions for visitors. The park features lush green lawns, picturesque ponds, playgrounds, ball fields, a swimming pool and a skate park. Families can enjoy picnicking or take romantic strolls in the serene surroundings. The park also boasts a stunning rose garden with over 200 varieties of colorful and fragrant roses that provide beautiful backdrops for photos.
We are blown away at the beauty to be found in this lovely park. Having been traveling through lots of desert for the last few weeks, this was a huge breath of fresh air - literally and figuratively. And the trees we've never seen before! Their pines, cones, branches and scents were out of this world amazing. We love talking long walks in Nature, and this had it all, something for all the senses (esp hit the Sensory Garden and the Rose Gardens!!). So happy we were staying right across the river from here and could go here as often as we wanted/needed for our outdoor therapy 💗

I stopped here for an hour with my family and our dog as we stayed one night in town passing through on our family vacation and we were not disappointed. This park is so beautiful and clean. I lived here for a couple years as a child and I have fond memories of this park, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it still there and just as wonderful as I remember it. I give complements to the city of Reno and the park service for keeping up with it, good job.

Beautiful park with many amenities right next to the Truckee River. Every Sunday this park hosts a year round farmers market that features fresh produce (including exotic mushroom varieties), local honey, fresh teas, and so much more. Great food vendors offering everything from Filipino food to fresh crepes made right in front of you. There is a fairly good skate park that is rather small. The playground equipment is new and exciting for children. Beautifully designed and decked out with various swings, slides, etc. There is even a zip line. Overall, a great park with much to offer.

The arch's bright neon lights illuminate downtown Reno and proudly display its famous slogan: "The Biggest Little City in the World."

Greater Nevada Field, also known as Aces Ballpark, is a vibrant stadium located in downtown Reno, Nevada. It serves as the home ground for the Reno Aces, a minor league baseball team. The stadium offers more than just baseball games; it hosts various local events and provides tours for visitors to learn about the history of sports in Reno.
I’m not usually a baseball ⚾️ fan but I really enjoyed seeing the Reno Aces game. The 🌭 hotdogs here are amazing 🤩. It also has a nice area park for kids to play. I will definitely 💯 come back and try more food. 🍲 The staff here are really friendly and nice. 😊 it was such a great experience.

This was an easy to navigate ball field with lots of service options. The restrooms were kept clean and rarely had a line every time I went. We attended two of the Banana Ball games with 10,000 people in attendance. We were in the berm. Security did a good job of making sure people weren't standing at the fence, so the view was never blocked.

Gr8 park, I am a big fan of intimate games. Parking for the game sucks. Eric the president of the Aces and friends with the owner is ruining the park. So anti social, almost uncomfortable in his own skin. Poor choice, is my opinion.
Brien P — Google review
A great little ballpark. Big enough to accommodate the attendees but intimate enough that it feels like a family outing. The digital displays are sharp and easy to read from anywhere in the stadium. The field lights are bright and disperse the light well throughout the stadium. Lastly, the staff works very efficiently, from the concession stands, ushers, and field workers. The whole team works well and provides visitors with a fantastic experience.
Roy A — Google review
Wonderful entertainment and great staff. Non-stop action. Concessions were many and food was great (photos). Security was tight, where isn't it today? But staff was pleasant. The field was beautiful, the action and the crowd were electrified. A home run hitter rounds third scoring 2 runs. The ball went over the centerfield fence and onto the railroad tracks behind the stadium! A freak hail storm ended the game early but the fans didn't want to leave.

The National Championship Air Races, also known as the Reno Air Races, is a thrilling and unique event that takes place at the Reno-Stead Airport in Nevada. This five-decade-old tradition features professional pilots racing their aircraft over three- to eight-mile courses, ranging from World War II planes to modern jets. Despite a major accident in 2011, the event continues to showcase impressive speeds and heart-stopping races.
We love the Reno Air Races. I would recommend getting the pit passes if possible. You're right next to the action and there's a real sense of community in this sport, that's great to see. We even got to visit with one of the pilots that had just raced. (The red plane in the photos). Overall they put on a great show. There are races, aerial shows and lots of displays to look at. We're very excited about the STOL races being added to the lineup. This year the U2 came by. Amazing! It is so good we are spending more than one day there. My son and dad love planes, this is their thing every year!
Kristin H — Google review
I had an awesome experience seeing this event for its first year in Roswell, NM with my father. We were able to see some amazing military aircraft up close (planes from WWII to present day) and watch some of the incredible pilots show off their skills. There was lots of good food and the announcers were entertaining and informative when it came to commentating on the air races. I would go again!
Harrison E — Google review
For years I have enjoyed the Reno Air Races. Ever since I was a little girl. I would always be amazed at the stunts and shows they would do, but for most of all I would love to just go and see all the planes… It’s definitely sad to know this is the last race we will see. But it’s was also very sad to see amazing pilots be lost…. The memories of all the races, pilots, military, volunteers etc… It will be for ever remembered I thank you all. To those who lost a love one at a race through out the years, I know it was their passion, and they forever live in our hearts still to this day, their memories have been engraved in our hearts. Keep on flying in the sky’s! 💕✈️🛫

The best event/air show you will ever go to! Take my word for it, I’ve been to the races every year of my life (16 years straight) and have never missed it once, and hopefully never will. If you want more details or a visual presentation please visit my YouTube page (Nevada Boys) where we have a video titled “Reno Air Races 2019”. Once you come to the races you’ll never want to leave! I can’t explain how much I love this event and trust me, you will too! The below photos are mine from the 2019 event.

Bowling alley
The National Bowling Stadium in Reno, NV is a top-notch bowling megaplex that offers something for everyone. It features 78 tournament-quality lanes, including 10 family-friendly ones and a theater area with seating for 172 people. The stadium's iconic architectural design includes a grand stainless steel geodesic dome, earning it the nickname "The Taj Mahal of Tenpins."
Definitely worth a visit, even if you (like me) couldn't care less about bowling! My train was 4 hours late so I wandered in, laughing to myself: "What could a bowling stadium* possibly look like!". The minute I walked through the front doors, I wasn't laughing anymore! Even the lobby is impressive, with three-story stairwells and escalators assending to the left AND right. As you ascend, the walls are covered with pictures of all the bowling greats. When you get to the top, you're greeted with what I would describe as the nicest bowling alley I've ever seen, on steroids! Too many lanes to count, so I asked somebody. He responded: "78 up here and 10 more downstairs.". As you'll see if you watch the video**, they were preparing for the USA team trials, and the young contestants were drifting in. Adjacent to the lobby is a bowling museum that would make any sport proud. * My only disappointment was that the description of stadium seems a little grandiose. The seating is apparently tucked away upstairs, in the rear. So much so, that I missed it! **Recorded panoramic video of the lanes and the museum, but found out Google doesn't allow it for reviews.
Bill D — Google review
This expansive and impressive facility features numerous lanes across multiple floors. All staff encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The convenient, attached, and complimentary parking garage is a significant advantage. However, the limited food and beverage options warrant a four-star rating instead of five. Competitive establishments provide a broader selection and designated dining areas. Furthermore, while ample seating exists across two floors, increased stadium seating on the lower level, closer to the lanes, would enhance the experience during events.
Enrique S — Google review
Fascinating bowling venue in downtown Reno. You cannot call this a bowling alley because it’s huge with 70 lanes. There are 5 floors with food, drinks, and a pro shop that rivals golf pro shops. A spectacular facility that hosts tournaments practically weekly. The staff are exceptional people as well as security, concessions, and tournament personnel. Keith in the pro shop is very knowledgeable and gives in depth advice about bowling balls, accessories, and bowling techniques. This stadium is a must for all that love the game of bowling!
Mack S — Google review
This was such a fun field trip. I was bummed that the museum wasn't open as I was really looking forward to seeing the memorabilia. That just means I will have to go again. Great experience.

The National Bowling Stadium is an impressive facility that boasts state-of-the-art amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. The venue is clean and brand new, with sleek modern design and comfortable seating. The lanes are well-maintained and offer an excellent bowling experience for all skill levels. The photography staff is exceptional, always ready to capture memorable moments and provide high-quality photos. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making the entire experience enjoyable. The facility also has an excellent selection of food and drinks, making it a great place to spend time with friends and family. Overall, the National Bowling Stadium is a must-visit for anyone who loves bowling and wants to have fun in a clean and modern environment. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a great time and a memorable experience. The tournament wraps up July 24th!

I've only been here twice (2024 & 25), and I have enjoyed myself both times. Bowled a 3 day tournament (fri, sat, sun) in the Reno Invitational (a 3 separate weekend event). Gina, your tournaments always ROCK! The waitress did not accept cash, credit cards only. Clean restrooms, plenty of stalls, and a couple of single family restrooms as well. NBS thank you for the lovely hospitality and see you again in 2026 if not before. P.S. a great place to have your company, family, and birthday parties at...👍🏾
Andre W — Google review
Beautiful and huge! Bowling alley has 78 lanes. Great for the USBC Tournaments. Gave only 4 stars because you don't want to bowl in the lanes at th end. We biwled our Doubles and Singles on 75/76 and it was SUPER HOT!! There aren't a/c vents at the end. I was so hot I asked if they had a fan for us....not one available. The guy even commented on how hot it was there. I about passed out. And I had a small fan. My last game out of 6 was an 88.....I just wanted to get out of there. Cooler outside.
Mandy B — Google review
I bowled here for the 2023 nationals and it was a great facility. Everything there was very nice and well kept. The lanes were great. The one complaint I have (and it is borderline taking a star off) was that they stopped selling alcohol at 9:30PM. Considering the last shifts of the day started at 9:30PM, that didn't seem too smart. I'm sure I'll be back for future events.

The Great Reno Balloon Race is a must-see event, drawing over 100 colorful balloons from across North America to Rancho San Rafael Park every September. The three-day spectacle features early morning aerial displays and races, creating a stunning sight for landscape photographers. Originally starting with 20 balloons in 1982, the event now attracts up to 100 balloons and 120,000 spectators annually. Families with young kids can enjoy the vibrant colors and lively atmosphere at this popular event.
I had the pleasure of attending the Hot Air Balloon Race in Reno, and it was an unforgettable experience. The event is a must-see, especially since it's free to the public. We arrived around 3:33 AM and found plenty of free parking a little further down the street, but I recommend arriving early to secure a spot. A key tip for anyone planning to attend: the early morning temperatures can be quite cold, so be sure to bring blankets and pillows to stay comfortable while you wait. It’s also a great idea to pack snacks and a warm beverage, like tea, to help keep you cozy during the event. Overall, it was a fantastic outing for families and balloon enthusiasts alike. The vibrant atmosphere and the sight of the hot air balloons were absolutely worth the early wake-up. Highly recommend this event to anyone visiting Reno

Nestled in the heart of downtown Reno, Wingfield Park is a year-round attraction located on a charming island surrounded by the Truckee River. Comprising five smaller parks, it offers picnic benches, basketball courts, walking and biking paths, and a public amphitheater hosting various events. With lush green spaces and scenic riverfront views, it's a popular gathering spot for picnics and sports. The park hosts numerous events throughout the year, including concerts and art exhibits.
Our first time in Reno and we expected a lower class version of Vegas, to which we were so pleasantly surprised by what awaited is here! Sure there are casinos and some homeless, but that's nothing compared to the beautiful parks like this one Reno has to offer the senses!! I do have some questions about this sculpture though... Is it not a woman's reproductive organs?? Amazing piece, yes, but I can't NOT see that! I'll need to do some research on the sculptor and their intended takeaway of this piece. This walk was perfect for a sunny April day. Between the sounds of the River and the smells of Spring ... You can't help but feel balanced and reset after some time walking/sitting here (or any of the local Reno parks for that matter). Good dog walk too, so take Fito for sure. I'd love to see this place in the full swing of Summer, as I'm guessing there are a lot of swimmers and boaters and kayaks going down the River.

I was there the day of the river festival, 100+ vendors, tons of food and drink options. Beautiful 75 degree June day. The have a Kayak course and the riverwalk has restaurants and shops on both sides. Plenty of trees and shade which is nice so it's not straight sun. Grassy areas and lots of boulders to just sit along the Truckee river. Walkways could and should be a bit wider, gets crowded and between bikes, dogs, strollers and walkers it's pretty congested.

The gem of Reno in my opinion! A great place to gather and picnic, sunbathe on the rocks, or enjoy the incredibly cool (manmade) Truckee River Water/Kayaking Park. Lots of fun art and statues all throughout as well!

Sorry about that, they might have posted on the door to whomever may have ventured to learn a little Nevada history on a recent Saturday. What's the point of having a museum that says it's open to the public but isn't? Must be some tasty tidbits inside, I find myself thinking, as I compose this text outside the locked doors. I'm an artist. I participate every year in early December one of the most entertaining and educational Art Shows called "History for the Holidays". This year the date is Saturday December 13, 2014. I so look forward to this exciting event all year long! I market Nevada stone pendants which I cut, shape, polish and wrap! Each one is unique. These are wrapped in Gold Fill, Copper, and Sterling wire that really shows off these gorgeous stones. I exhibit in many shows including the Reno Gem and Mineral Society shows. In addition, I teach Watercolor in Reno and have taught WC in Ireland. At this December show there is acapela singers that sing Christmas Carols. There is a delicious array of sweets and hot chocolate etc. It is always crowded and lasts from 11 to 4 PM. People look for my pendants each year. All the artists are professionals. See you there. The Tahoe-Pyramid Trail is an ongoing project that aims to create a 114-mile trail following the Truckee River from Lake Tahoe to Pyramid Lake. This long-distance pedestrian and bicycle trail offers a unique way to explore the famous bodies of water in Nevada, with opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, and wildlife spotting. As it winds through Downtown Reno and into Sparks, the trail descends over 2,000 feet in total.
My first time on the trail. I was on a gravel bike. Great scenery.the trail is well maintained and mostly hard packed dirt. There's a steep hike-a-bike section as you get further east down the canyon.

Awesome trail and well worth the hike. Pulloff is a great place to stop for sunset too!
Josiah R — Google review
The Tahoe-Pyramid Trail is a nice trail which follows the Truckee River and Hwy 80. The trail stays close to the river a majority of the way and has a few historic buildings along the trail. It's gradually climbs the canyon and offers a unique and peaceful experience. I mountain biked from the lower start of the trail about two miles before turning back around.
Brendan K — Google review
Nice nature, river, mountains while hiking, but the noise from Hway 80 spoils it....one can hear trucks/cars constantly....perhaps there are sections which are more quiet, but few miles from Verdi it's pretty noisy.
John T — Google review
Beautiful trail right near Reno! I hiked the section between Verdi and the Floriston/Mystic area a few weeks ago. Great views of the Truckee River, plus plentiful butterflies and wildflowers. So close to town, yet feels like you are getting away.
Kristina L — Google review
Beautiful. Some biking challenges but worth it. Nice fishing accesses. Can't wait to try! A few spots require pushing the bike up hill but that's exercise too. Having Chop 40 near my entry point helps for quick rehydration.

Thin trail and some slides making it so also. Beautiful little stop for me. Met fishermen going fishing for trout. 🎣

I took my dog for a run on this trail, and it was really cool to traverse along the Truckee River. We started at the Hirschdale east trailhead and ran down to Floriston and back. Despite the freeway being a constant presence, it was still a very tranquil run on a beautiful summer day.

The Riverwalk @ South Virginia St. Reno, Nv offers a picturesque and vibrant experience along the scenic Truckee River. It is a hub for year-round recreational activities, top events, shops, bistros, cafes, arts and entertainment. The walkable area stretches from Reno's Idlewild Park to Downtown's Wingfield Park. The latter features lush green spaces and an outdoor amphitheater for live performances.
We Went down to the Riverwalk to hang out and we were pleasantly surprised that there was a festival going on too! it was really cool as people were wading in the river lounging around The River was not really rough so it was a very great ambience to walk along. There were some breweries right along the river that looked fun to hang out at too

It's wonderful beautiful a lot to see. It was hot outside so the walk alongside the river is quite a relief. It is very difficult to find parking that is the reason I gave three stars is due to the parking

Not a good place to bring the Familty way to many sketchy people roaming around. Saw many strange people and strange things. Lots of trash and parking is a problem. The city of Reno needs to do a better job with this public area.

It was really nice for the most part. We came out from Sac so we were hoping for a nice riverwalk to follow up the trip to GSR. The spot we stopped at had water, some geese yelling at some ducks, some nice scenery and cool places to sit and enjoy the weather. I would've liked to have brought some food because we were hungry. I wanted to get some good pictures of this stained glass dolphin looking statue but when we got closer there were some houseless people chillin around and a lot of the glass was broken. A little disappointing. Overall fine.
Chris S — Google review
Great place for adventure if you have good swimmers and they have littles dams off to the side of the river so the little ones can splash around. Bring lunch if possible. It’s in the middle of a business area and parking is tough but worth it. There’s even crawdads. And the water is clear.

Nestled in the heart of Reno, the University of Nevada, Reno has a rich history dating back to 1874 and is home to an array of stunning architectural gems. The Historic Quad serves as a picturesque centerpiece, flanked by notable buildings like Morrill Hall, which showcases Victorian elegance from 1887, and the Classical Revival-style Mackay School of Mines built in 1908.
This post is rating the campus ambiance, not the actual educational opportunity. The campus is beautiful, high tech, and provides a lot of extra curricular activities. They are home to the Nevada Wolfpack football team, so students can catch the game with their friends on a Saturday night. There are also a lot of on campus shops for food, coffee, etc. such as, Starbucks, Panera Bread, Panda Express, Mexican food, sushi, cheeseburgers, and more. It’s a campus worth looking at and provides a strong sense of community.

Additionally, it hosts cultural events like Artown and the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. The venue also welcomes high-profile artists for concerts and sporting events including MMA fights. With its large capacity, there's always something exciting happening at Reno Events Center.
This was a great event center to host a gymnastics meet. The people there were nice, the event center itself was clean, great equipment, great judges and athletes, and great atmosphere and temperature of the gymnasium overall. The seating was also comfortable and the medals they gave out were cool. They also had great merchandise and a company that can give you some great photo shoots during the meet. The cost to enter in wasn’t that bad either, at $35. Overall, we liked spending time at the Senior Level 9 session here. Highly recommend this place to check out a cool event here!

Nevada Premier Sportman Show was a complete disappointment! The gun show last week at the convention center had a better selection of products!
Jim R — Google review
Nice area the floor seats are very small and tight. I know they want to pack in as many people as possible but a little space between seats would be nice especially for the price you pay. And someone directing traffic to the parking garage would be nice
Larry R — Google review
We visited the Reno Events center yesterday for Disney on Ice. The positive is that most seats had a pretty good view of the performance. The temperature inside was not too hot or too cold. The main reason for my low review was the water policy. I was told that I couldn't even bring an empty water bottle to full up. At least airport security let's people bring in an empty one. Reno Aces allows a sealed purchased bottle of water. Reno Events Center policy forces people to have lots of plastic waste for an event and pay money for water. There was at least one drinking fountain near the restroom, but it's hard to leave your seats during a show to get enough water. I would have also appreciated to bring at least an energy bar per person. The concession line was very long and I didn't see anything vegetarian beyond fries. My kiddo and I were quite hungry by the end. I would have bought him a pretzel at intermissions, but we would have missed part of the show due to the long line. I think access to water should be available for all shows, but denying water and snacks to a show geared for young children seemed particularly wrong. I would like to bring my kiddo to Sesame Street live, but will skip that now that I know the Events' Centers policies.
Suzanne L — Google review
It was a very good concert we saw Tyler Hubbard and I liked it, because it's all on one floor and it's a small venue and you didn't miss anything at the show. Even if you stepped out to get a drink or used the restroom, you can still hear it and the people that worked. There were very, very friendly.

Awesome concert last night. The Hits Deep Tour is what's up! So fun and such high energy. Great stage and audience engagement. Maybe more personnel to help you find seats when it's dark tho. And parking for events is pretty limited. We spent 30 minutes (which was 30 minutes before concert start time) looking for a spot. Ended up at the Sands (the lot across the street fills quickly). Then had to wait another 20 minutes to get in.

Amazing exhibit. I am not even that fascinated by rocks and found myself caught up in the informational displays. Make sure to to give yourself about 1 to 2 hours. It is found in the building behind the statue of John William MacKay. I say this because there's no indication of the exhibit from the outside it seems to be a library.
Heather J — Google review
Really enjoyed this museum. Visitor parking was a little non-intuitive, but I followed the helpful instructions on the museum website and parked on the first floor of the University & 9th Street parking garage for the hourly parking. I wish the glass panes on the display cases were a bit less dusty to fully enjoy this beautiful collection. I took my time and learned a lot. Hours are a bit limited during the week. Perhaps best to visit on weekends. Great spot for geology nerds and possibly patient children who like shiny rocks. Ask your gamer kid to point to the rocks they may have mined in Minecraft or Runescape :)
Castane G — Google review
If you think you are the kind of person that might like a Mineral Mining & Engineering Museum, then you should go here. Everything a good museum should be with lots of physical artifacts rather than just placards. I especially liked the 3d model of the West End mine - something you need to see in person. Also a giant ingot of blister copper that you can touch and (try to) pick up. And a 10 foot tall giant topo map of Nevada (with place names frozen in time 100 years ago). You can't get this stuff from a book or Wikipedia article. It is also a beautiful space, and completely empty when I went.
Josh L — Google review
If you're into local Nevada geology and general history, and you have some spare time in your hands, this museum is definitely worth a visit. However, it's damned hard to find. You're best bet is to look for the statue at the end of the quad; the building you're looking for is directly behind the statue. The pictures included in this review show the building and the plaque on the outside of the building next to the front doors.

Airport
Reno-Tahoe International Airport is an arts-focused airport that boasts a gallery and occasional live music performances, as well as two dog parks. Located in Reno, Nevada, this city offers abundant outdoor recreational opportunities with over 300 days of sunshine annually. The area's surrounding mountains provide ample hiking trails and ski resorts, while the proximity to Lake Tahoe attracts adventure seekers to its ski resorts and pristine shorelines.
BEST LITTLE AIRPORT in BIGGEST LITTLE CITY - By far the best arrival and departure airport for the west coast. Smaller and efficient and the air actually moves making it fresh and safer from airborne viruses. Too many large west coast airports are sealed with no air flow, a hassle and too bustling. Drive in and out w a rental car is so easy and you don’t need to deal w the unpredictable Bay Area traffic. It is also a very clean and artful airport that has interesting things posted and placed throughout the airport.
Astrofish — Google review
A Charming Airport with an 80s Flair This small international airport has a unique and authentic charm that takes you back to the 1980s. While it may not be the most modern facility, it offers a pleasant and hassle-free travel experience. The staff is exceptionally friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. One of the biggest advantages is the efficiency—there are no long waiting times, making check-in, security, and baggage claim quick and smooth. The airport provides a decent selection of amenities, including a few fast-food restaurants, bars, and sit-down restaurants, as well as a lounge for those who want to relax before their flight. There are also some shopping options to browse. Transportation is well-organized, with good public transport connections and convenient shuttle buses to nearby hotels. Overall, this airport may not be the most high-tech, but its nostalgic charm, friendly service, and efficiency make it a great place to travel through.
Michael P — Google review
A smaller airport that is easy to get in and out of. Located close to downtown and plenty of airport shuttles available. Rental car center is on site. The terminals get a little crowded. Plenty of gaming machines along with a decent variety of food option. The airport was clean with plenty of seating.
B.F. 0 — Google review
Small but mighty! Reno-Tahoe Airport is compact, which makes it super convenient for pick-up and drop-off. The car rental area is just a short walk from the terminal — step outside and you’re practically there. It’s also located close to a Costco gas station, which is perfect if you need to refill before returning your rental. One surprising perk: they do have a lounge available for credit card holders — a nice bonus you might not expect from a smaller airport. That said, there are a few downsides. The regular security line can be slow, with wait times ranging from 20 to 30 minutes during peak hours. Unfortunately, there’s no CLEAR service here yet, which would’ve been a nice addition to speed things up. Overall, it’s a solid regional airport with some great conveniences, but be prepared for a bit of a wait if you’re not TSA PreCheck
Y T — Google review

I liked this airport because it was just the right size. Security, gate staff, and rental car facility staff were just as friendly as I wanted and were quick with anything. I was in shock that no one was in security and it only took 2 minutes to get from the rental car facility to your gate. All in all, everything was so close and convenient. They also got good restaurants to choose from too before and after security. Overall, Reno-Tahoe Airport for traveling is the way to go!

For outdoor enthusiasts, Peavine Peak is a paradise for mountain biking aficionados.
It's a normal peak with some signal towers, but it became special if you spent a few hours finding your own way to the top in the deep snow, saw a fantastic sunset, and walked down in the dark. Hiked on Apr 22, 2023.

Easy breezy off road drive to a scenic overlook of Reno, the sierras, and the Virginia range. Standard highway vehicles would have zero issues with this trail.

Great place to hike, bike or offroad. Many NF trails along the way however a number of private properties along the way so be careful and respectful. High clearance is not needed on Peavine Road, the main road, but it is necessary on the side trails along with 4x4.

This was on my bucket list lol lame I know but it was very very cool driving up to the top. Road wasn't bad at all. Only way it could have been better is a nice thunderstorm in summer!

The Reno Philharmonic, established in 1969, is the largest performing arts organization in northern Nevada. Led by music director Laura Jackson since 2009, the orchestra's performances feature a diverse range of classical and popular pieces from Broadway and Hollywood. Their annual events like 'Pops on the River' and 'Spirit of the Season' showcase their versatility and holiday spirit.
I loved Alexei's performance of the Stravinsky! I sang with the Schola Cantorum in Cupertino CA many years ago and when the conductor, Royal Stanton (he was Marilyn Horne's choral conductor when she was in high school!) presented a Stravinsky work in rehearsal, most of us turned up our noses at it............for a while. As we worked on this piece, we became enraptured by it. This young and passionate violinist was the BEST. and I loved his shirt!!!!! I was alone as I streamed this concert in my living room and I gave you all a standing ovation and many whoops. Bravo to this orchestra and its brilliant conductor. I'm sure Laura Jackson was grateful to all the performers who did such masterful work. Thank you, thank you!!!!! Please get well, Laura -- you have done outstanding, devoted wonders with the Phil.

This place is a hidden gem located in downtown Reno. The venue is charming, the staff compromised mostly of volunteers are extremely polite, inviting and helpful. I attended a spectacular event for only $ 10.00 as a disabled senior citizen.. What an amazing blessing to be there alone celebrating my 70th Birthday surrounded by love of staff and listening to a spectacular concert with Mariachi and Reno Philharmonic.
Lupe D — Google review
This November 24 concert was excellent, the selections were perfect, and the pianist was highly skilled and even played an encore! Why is it that patrons of the Reno Philharmonic insist on applause between the movements of a concerto or symphony? Uncool!
Jim F — Google review
I don't think I can express strongly enough my gratitude to the Phil for giving me a night of pure joy. A night of magic. The Christmas program was beyond words. They touched every little part of the Christmas experience. I wanted to laugh and cry and sing all at the same time. The talent displayed was fantastic. directo

I didn’t appreciate the saxophone piece. There was no continuity. Or maybe that was the message.

I was delighted to attend the opening performance of the Reno Phil's 55th season - it was a wonderful evening with exceptional music. Conductor Laura Jackson and the excellent musicians gave inspiring performances and guest artist Daniel Liebman was flawless in her nuanced playing. The Inside the Music talk was well worth attending but the highlight of the evening was Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. Truly a night to remember! I would love to hear Vivaldi's Four Seasons played by the Reno Phil - or any of Vivaldi pieces, in fact. Perhaps next season?
Susan15 S — Google review
Just another outstanding concert with Laura conducting and a favorite soloist performing the signature piece. This certainly is a top symphony orchestra among its peers - mid-sized metro areas within CONUS!
Richard E — Google review
Piano 🎹 tuned on back edge of stage, and then moved for the piece featuring the visiting pianist (who was fabulous). Never seen another venue do that! Conductor too far back, so musicians placed awkwardly facing one another, rather than the audience. Audience not reminded to turn off phones. Very obnoxious ringing during performance. Conductor also failed to coach audience to wait to applaud after final movement of the pieces.

The Sparks Heritage Museum is a captivating destination just a short drive from downtown Reno, offering an intriguing look into the history of Sparks and the Truckee Meadows region. The museum boasts indoor exhibits featuring a diverse array of artifacts and materials, as well as expansive outdoor displays including railroad-related items like a Chinese-built bridge and memorial, a steam engine, and Pullman car. Visitors can also snap photos next to the iconic 'Last Chance Joe' statue.
A nice little museum that is walking distance from the Nugget. Great distraction for an hour or two that has a great selection of historic Sparks items and memorabilia. Lots of items about the train lines across the region and how this developed Reno/Sparks into the towns they are today. Walking distance from the Nugget Casino and well worth your time to visit.

Honestly, we didn't actually go inside but on the day we visited (which was a Saturday) they had some cool old-school fire and police vehicles on display out front and the super cool volunteers even let ErisEsoterica play with the sirens and ring the bell on the fire truck!

Steak house
Located in a glitzy, casino-based setting, Atlantis Steakhouse offers a top-notch dining experience with classic fare such as steaks and chops. The restaurant's stylish design resembles an underwater palace, providing a cosmopolitan atmosphere for guests. Featuring Allen Brothers of Chicago meats, fresh seafood, chef's specials, cocktails, and an extensive wine selection of over 336 options from around the world.
My experience at Atlantis Steakhouse, located inside the Atlantis Casino Resort in Reno, was truly memorable! The restaurant offers an elegant, welcoming atmosphere with impeccable service from start to finish. The meal began with a fresh and crisp salad, beautifully presented and lightly dressed — the perfect way to start. However, the true star of the evening was the steak: flawlessly cooked, exceptionally tender, juicy, and exactly at the requested doneness — simply outstanding! The plate was accompanied by roasted garlic (a sophisticated and delicious touch), creamy mashed potatoes, and delicately sautéed mushrooms, all enhancing the incredible flavors of the dish. While the famous Lobster Mac & Cheese was also a delightful surprise — rich, creamy, and loaded with real lobster — it’s the quality of the steak that truly steals the show here. Rated as a 4-star restaurant, but with food quality easily worthy of 5 stars, Atlantis Steakhouse is without a doubt one of the best fine dining experiences in Reno for those seeking a top-tier meal.
Geisiane L — Google review
Went with a group of foodie friends. I love the table service! Steak Diane and banana foster were both excellent. Although a bit loud the food is very good. Wait staff was almost over attentive. Kept repeatedly trying to grab plates when not completed. But very courteous.

Best steakhouse in Reno. The service was absolutely amazing, the best service we’ve ever had. Food was timed perfectly and you get so much more for your money here. If you want to go out for a nice evening and impress your guests, this is the place to go. They give fresh hot towels at the beginning and end of service, a small little dish before your meal arrives, and gave us coffee cake in a to go bag before we left for the next morning.
Kaylee K — Google review
Well they forgot our coffee cake at the end and the scallops came out barely warm but it otherwise good. We asked to pay but bill was given to my brother. For $800 nothing should have been forgotten. Server was friendly and for the most part great, but a strong finish would have been good for the price. Oh and the topper is the lid for the sauce was broken and we now have lemon solo all over our ribeye. So they didn’t box our items up correctly.
Lori M — Google review
It was my first time dining at Atlantis Steakhouse, but definitely not my last! I had 3 spectacular cuts of Wagyu steak on a bed of creamed spinach and carrots! The service was exceptional, as was the food quality! My compliments to the chef!

My girlfriend took me here for my birthday and everything was amazing. The staff were on top of it and attentive, food was absolutely spectacular, nothing but good words about this restaurant. Also, one last thing to add; This was my first time trying Sea Bass and they crushed it!!

Absolutely fantastic experience at the bar thanks to Melissa and Fernando. 10/10 on everything. However…. Thick cut steak fries are listed on the menu and i was served sidewinder potatoes… don’t get me wrong they were great…. But…. Not thick cut steak fries. May want to consider adjusting the language on the menu to match the correct potato? Looking forward to my next experience here. Highly recommend
Brennan K — Google review
Appetizers & service were pretty good but my wife & I split a cowboy ribeye that was definitely the worst steak we’ve ever had at a reputable steakhouse. Quality seemed really low as it was super tough even though it was properly cooked to medium rare. Pretty much inedible, we took a $155 steak home to give it to our dog. Others at the table didn’t have negative things to say about their meals maybe we just got a bad cut of meat.

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is a renowned casino and luxury hotel in Reno, originally built in 1972. The expansive casino floor covers over 60,000 square feet and offers various games such as poker, blackjack, roulette, and slot machines. The property's design is inspired by the lost city of Atlantis. Situated on the Strip in downtown Reno, it provides easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
I had my first stay at the Atlantis and LOVED it! The shuttle drivers were great and from the moment I walked in everything went smoothly. The receptions was welcoming, quick, and competent. I stayed in the concierge tower and was so impressed with the room and the view. I loved the pillow menu, and having the concierge lounge was such a treat. Service was fantastic especially Logan and Merwyn at the Sports Bar. The pool and hot tub were excellent. We had excellent meals at the Steakhouse, Sushi, and Bistro Napa with fantastic service. The location could be considered a plus or a minus. It is about 5 minutes to get to the airport, which is convenient, but if you are looking to get out and explore DT Reno (which I recommend), you would need to drive. Overall, we really loved our experience and I look forward to going back!

Just loved it! While most casinos are starting to show their age, this one still feels fresh and modern. Rooms are newly remodeled, spacious, and filled with natural light. Elevators actually work smoothly (a rare casino bonus!). I was here for a convention, and moving material was hassle-free with the bell desk’s help. If you’re attending an event, the 3rd-floor rooms are perfect since most shows happen right below in the 2nd-floor D & E halls. Wi-Fi was reliable, and while the property offers plenty of dining options, Uber Eats lobby pickup worked just as well.
Aashish R — Google review
Our stay at this hotel was quite pleasant overall. We were accommodated in the newly renovated rooms, which were impressively spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully modernized. The refreshed design gave the rooms a sleek, contemporary feel that made our stay especially comfortable. The ground floor was lively and full of energy, featuring numerous tables and slot machines that contributed to the hotel’s vibrant atmosphere. Dining options were excellent — the sushi bar and the all‑you‑can‑eat buffet were particularly popular, often drawing lines out the door, which spoke to their quality. We also spent some time at one of the hotel’s lounges, where the drinks were both well crafted and satisfyingly strong. The hotel itself is a striking landmark, easily visible from miles away. Our only complaint was that the casino floor allows smoking, and unfortunately, the lingering cigarette smell clung to our clothes by the end of the evening. Overall, it was a clean, modern, and entertaining place to stay — a solid choice for those looking for both comfort and excitement in one destination.
Behn F — Google review
The wife and I had spent 3 days here had a great time. Never really even had to leave the casino. There wasn't much choice far as shopping, but food gambling and amenities were abundant enjoyed the place. I believed that we will definitely come back here. I hope you enjoy And good luck.
Todd R — Google review
Customer service at its best! They really try to accommodate special requests compared to other hotels. They seem more compassionate in my opinion. Indoor pool is great! Love the buffet. However, we did not like the food at the fun center and the employees show the complete opposite of the test of the hotel. I would give that place 0 stars if I could. For a kid friendly place the workers there need a class on how to interact with the public. One of our chicken burgers was like a hockey puck, fries were bland and service was very disappointing 😞
Rozelle L — Google review
Over all everything was great. Smoke ventilation could've been better, ate at multiple restaurants and they were all great. I had to leave on short notice and was running out of the door to catch the airport shuttle and it left without me. The valet Claudia Soto saw this and grabbed a vehicle and personally drove me to the airport. Very impressive. That's the type of customer service that stands out and sets others apart from the rest.
Ryan P — Google review
You’re honestly better off staying at the Grand Sierra. The rooms are nice but this place feels smoky, old, and outdated. You and the family would have a lot more fun at GSR, there’s more to do and the gaming and buffet is better. The supervisor running the arcade on Sunday (11/23/2025) was rude, and his coworker with the Afro wasn’t any better. The arcade says it closes at 10pm, but they shut down the ticket redemption area at 9:40. The prize machines aren’t great either. If it says 10, it should stay open until 10. The games are too expensive for customers to be treated like that.
Frank P — Google review
Stayed here for two nights. The hotel is under renovation but didn’t feel as such. Which was nice. Decent size rooms. Clean. Double sink in the bathroom which is leaks a plus. Went to the spa for a 90 min deep tissue and a pedicure. The massage was wonderful. They masseuse really listened to where my problem areas were and focused on that. Asked for a pedicure in the salon and they booked me for a spa pedicure. Not sure it was worth the price. But it was nice. Enjoyed the pool with friends as well.

Didn't get a bite. Walmart was out of nightcrawlers, so, I settled for red worms. A guy already there caught one on power bait. The fish were active on the surface, I don't know what they're feeding on. Ya see, my brother keeps insisting that I go fishing (I'd stopped going about 20 years ago, except when visting my other brother) and had bought me this fishing pole. So, ya see, I'm gotten to hav' ta catch a fish, I've been skunked the 4 or 5 times I've been out with it, see? I usually catch somethin', see?, but I ain't catchin' nutin', see? So, now you know! The fishin' stinks here, see? (I would da never bought this anyway, see? But I gotta catch a fish wid it, see?) Anyway, any fish that only eats power bait has got to be disturbed anyway, see?

What a wonderful experience. I hadn’t been in a long time and we decided to try breakfast this morning. I had the ham steak and eggs and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The ham was nice and juicy and generous. I have to say the hash browns were an other worldly experience. The best I’ve ever had. And it was accompanied by a lovely piece of sourdough toast. My sister got the Florentine omelette, which is turkey and tomato and spinach and a beautiful puffy omelette topped with hollandaise sauce. She had a nice bowl of fruit for her side. We both ate plenty and still had leftovers to take home. We definitely recommend trying it.

I really wanted to love this place. As a long-time Sparks local, I was excited to finally check it out after hearing so many raving reviews. I brought my mom and my 7-month-old son for what I hoped would be a cozy breakfast outing. We started off with a lovely chai tea while waiting for our steak omelet — and yes, the portions are generous (credit where it’s due). Unfortunately, that’s where the good part ends. Let’s talk about the atmosphere. There’s nothing welcoming about being nickel-and-dimed at 8 a.m. over a $4 “plate-split fee” and a $2 “extra plate charge.” I’ve been to five-star restaurants that treat their guests with more warmth and flexibility — ironic, since our waiter was quick to compare the two. My mom, nearing 60, simply didn’t want leftovers. Instead of understanding, the staff made us feel like we didn’t belong there at all. And honestly, how humiliating is it for a mother to feed her baby off a napkin because the restaurant insists on charging for a plate? That’s not policy — that’s pettiness. $20 steak omelet without salsa, that was offensive! The food? It was fine. Not great, not terrible — though canned mushrooms on a $30 breakfast tab don’t exactly scream “hometown gem.” I was ready to give them another try, but when the service leaves you feeling small and unwelcome, no amount of seasoning can fix that.
Ace C — Google review
If I could leave 100 stars I would! My mom and I shared the Crab Omelet and Seafood Benedict and they were so delicious! The portions are huge! Everyone who helped us was super! I'll be back the next time I'm in Sparks!

This place is very busy no matter what time you go. We went on a Thursday morning and there was a wait. The food was good if not a bit overpriced. I had the senior breakfast with sausage and it was plenty of food. The service was good but a little on the minimalist side. This is a local place and busy so it can be a little loud at times. Overall the food was good, the service was good and I will definitely be back.

RODEO!!! Growing up in the suburbs of Detroit, I had no idea what a rodeo was and what type of events are involved with the rodeo. After moving here in Jan 2022, all I heard about was the Reno Rodeo on the radio and TV. I had to see what this "rodeo" thing is all about. All I can say is WOW. This is my 4th year in a row attending this awesome and entertaining event. I am enamored with the spectacle of all the events but mostly in the athleticism and talent that these cowboys and girls need to have. Lets not forget how well these horses are trained to do their thing too. They are all literally amazing! From roping steers to barrel racing, riding bulls to wrestling steers, it is all amazing to watch, especially from a suburbanite! The entire Rodeo week has so much to offer the Reno area and we can be proud of such a fun and entertaining event. With something for everyone, there's the carnival rides for the kids, vendors to buy all your western gear and tack, beer tents, dancing and the list goes on. The Reno Rodeo Association does a bang up job wrangling all the members and volunteers to make this wonderful event roll each day like a smooth mechanism. I will be attending for year's to come.

The shop here is terrible and really lacks any sensible customer service. Ordered a womens jacket. They sent me a mens saying: "It's been crazy busy here." Then they said they could exchange it. My mom had to drive all the way up there to talk to the person. Then when my mom told the person that I didn't like the color (because they didn't have a photo of the actual product on the site) they tried to convince her to buy another jacket. Ended up returning it, said I'd get a refund, yet they kept the 15 dollars shipping which was absolutely unnecessary due to me being in Carson City and "priority shipping BS" only took a day. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!!! THEY WILL TAKE IT AND JUST MAKE EXCUSES. REALLY REALLY WISH I WOULD GET MY 15 FREAKING DOLLARS BACK. SCAMMERS.

Located along the picturesque Reno Riverwalk in Downtown Reno, stands a stunning and serene church that is a feast for both the eyes and the soul. Nestled by the immaculate Truckee River, this refined cathedral provides an ideal environment to explore one's inner spirituality. Serving as the principal place of worship for the Roman Catholic Diocese in Reno, this magnificent structure has withstood significant challenges, including near destruction by fire.
My experience is a bit different, I have been displaced ...alone. Bur am i? No, God is real and alive and when the bells rings my heart does sing. I have been shelter right across the street while looking for new apt, I am visually impaired so the struggle is even harder when yiu have low/no vision. Though I consider myself a recovering catholic I will not "diss" their "religion ". I follow The Bible, Jesus Christ The Great I Am...I do not need a mere man wearing a robe to "forgive me" That is not God's word. I adore this church, all church Cathedrals what have you.My former pastors wife's mother ceremony was here many years ago. I am a survivor of that church abuse No one informed me when the pastor, Paul brant, past away. After our my service and my children then served him and no one informs me. Accident Google search. Oh kook now I'm rumbling, forgive me but the truth still counts in my life. God speed

Please, more time for confession. Kindly I ask the father to stay until everyone in line has had the chance to confess, as we come seeking reconciliation with Jesus. We have come with open hearts and great hope for this sacrament, and it is important for all of us to receive the grace of confession. Many of us arrived early and waited patiently, in the line, and we kindly ask for the opportunity to be confessed.

Beautiful cathedral, wonderful priest, people and parish, we loved it
Margaret S — Google review
Older priest refused to absolve my sins with correct words. I asked him to twice and he walked away. He used "I forgive you" and "May God absolve you". Incorrect form invalidates the sacrament and is a sacrilege. And they wonder why people just give up and go to the SSPX. This is the second time in this diocese the priest has refused to use the correct form.

Hiking area
Hunter Creek Trailhead is a popular hiking spot in Nevada, known for its scenic views and beautiful waterfalls. Although there was a recent fire in the area, the lower hiking area and falls were not affected. The trail offers a few city view spots and can be challenging with rocky terrain. It's recommended to allocate about four hours for the hike, including a stop at the waterfall for lunch.
Hunter Creek Trail is widely regarded as one of the best hikes in the Reno area. The trail offers a beautiful mix of open terrain and shaded forest, making it a diverse and scenic adventure. Most of the hike is exposed to the sun, so it's recommended to start early in the day to avoid the heat. Toward the end of the trail, you'll be rewarded with a peaceful stretch covered in trees, creating a cool, serene atmosphere that feels like a hidden oasis. The highlight of the hike is a stunning waterfall at the end, which makes the effort well worth it. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear a hat to protect yourself from the sun, and choose sturdy hiking shoes—some parts of the trail can be a bit rocky and uneven.
Sai S — Google review
This is so beautiful and fun to be outdoors and enjoy nature. This hike is a 3 mile hike up 3 mile hike down. Make sure you start early and have plenty of water and hat because you’re going to be in a direct sun all the way to the waterfall and then you will get closer to the forest.
Kristina W — Google review
Cold, briskly running mountain stream coupled with hiking and horse trails with occasional views of the Reno valley. Nice and cool getaway on a 90+degree day. Dog friendly, not crowded. Does have pit toilets, drinking fountains and garbage collection at the base parking lot.
Tim D — Google review
Beautiful hike with somewhat difficulty to the average soft body. Some narrow areas of trail some shade once you hit higher elevations. I believe after 7-8 miles small waterfall thats picture perfect and is the payoff for the hike. I recommend the hike but I won’t just to keep it a secret spot🤐
Skyler P — Google review
We enjoyed this hike. It's fairly exposed a great deal of the time, wear sunscreen and appropriate clothes. Our GPS and another couple we met on the trail indicated it was over 7 miles. Not very intense but not easy either. Parts of the trail are narrow, loose rocks, and at the end, you'll need to cross the stream by logs. It is worth the hike! Absolutely beautiful falls!
Kristin H — Google review
Maintained trail follows Hunter Creek for about 2.5 miles to the falls. It's mostly uphill, and totally exposed, for the first 1.5 miles, then enters a nice wooded section before reaching the falls. I started around 6am & had the trail largely to myself until the return.
Kreston A — Google review
Hunter Creek Trailhead is one of the most accessible and rewarding hiking trails near Reno. Nestled in a dry mountainous landscape, the trail offers a calming escape with the gentle sound of the creek flowing alongside. A warm breeze often follows hikers through the terrain, making the experience both refreshing and rejuvenating. In the summertime, you’ll enjoy the mild, sweet scent of wildflowers. Much of the trail is lined with vibrant desert blooms, adding color and life to the rugged scenery. Along the way, you’ll encounter impressive rock formations, shaded stretches of dense pine forest, and ultimately, a stunning cold-water spring fed by freshly melted snow cascading over rocks—a well-earned highlight at the trail's end. Distance (round trip): ~5.5 miles Duration: Approximately 3 hours Tip: Bring an extra bottle of water. The higher elevation can leave you feeling thirsty faster than expected. Caution: This is a wild trail—watch out for reptiles. Carrying a hiking stick is a smart precaution. additionally, walking path is very narro one person walk, be careful when walking

Gym
BaseCamp Climbing Gym, located at the Whitney Peak Hotel in downtown Reno, boasts the title of having the World's Tallest Artificial Climbing Wall, standing at 164 feet. The gym offers 7,000 square feet of climbing terrain suitable for both beginners and seasoned climbers. In addition to climbing, BaseCamp provides virtual classes and yoga sessions. Visitors can seek advice from the staff on the best routes and spots for climbing in nearby areas like Donner or Tahoe.
Did the big climb to the top, absolutely exhilarating and the staff were reassuring, fast and friendly. Sure, it's pricey (60$) but if you're in Reno and more keen on climbing than gambling it's a great alternative. You can climb in the gym afterwards, I didn't have time, but it looked small but well maintained. Only wish is that they gave out some sorta souvenir or certificate for making it to the top.
Olivia D — Google review
With several rock climbing gym options in Reno, this place is my favorite because of the culture and vibe they create. The indoor bouldering section is where they get the majority of their traffic. There is an outdoor climbing wall that attracts tourists and very serious climbers, but my favorite part is the bouldering gym indoors. The lighting is ambient and cozy, the gym is small, and indie music plays in the background. Dogs are allowed and all the staff and gym-goers are approachable and friendly. This is a great place to become a regular at. There is a small gym section with 3 treadmills, a weights rack, bicycles, a pulley, several isometric machines, weights and more. It’s a small scale gym with everything you need. There are two saunas, dry and steam, to relax in before or after you climb. Lastly, the gym partners with the cafe downstairs to offer special burger and beer deals during the week. It’s good food! Weather you are a tourist, or a Reno local, this gym is a great place to try something new.
Audrey G — Google review
Great climbing gym with everything you need at one place! MoonBoard, fitness gym, indoor bouldering, outdoor sport climbing, boutique, two saunas (dry and steam), clean showers and even a spot to do your laundry while climbing (very useful if you are traveling on the road!! iykyk) Staff is very friendly and the gym offers a more « old school » type of climbing and they also have a section only for kids. They are located directly on the 2nd floor of the hotel, and they are pet friendly. 🥰 I’m not sure if there was a specific parking lot for this hotel, but since we have a really high vehicle, we used the hourly parking in the streets (there was plenty all around the hotel). Since the entry fee is less expensive than other gyms, we didn’t mind paying for parking.

Natural Selection is a one-of-a-kind store located in the vibrant Midtown area of Reno. Run by a passionate mother-daughter team, this shop offers an array of unique and ethically-sourced natural specimens and curiosities. From air plants and bonsai to animal skulls, taxidermy, and items crafted from natural materials like bark and wood, the store is a treasure trove for those with an appreciation for the wonders of nature.
Whenever I visit a new city I always check Atlas Obscura and was delighted to find this place in Reno -- and honestly the most interesting thing on A.O. I first walked in and was greeted by two extremely sweet dogs and was taken aback by their taxidermy selections. As a biology teacher, I am so excited about my purchases (which were REASONABLY PRICED) and I can't wait to take them back to my students! I genuinely felt like a kid in a candy store with this place. This place genuinely filled me with so much joy and excitement; it will be one of the first things on my mind whenever "Reno" is mentioned in a conversation. I can't wait to come back to Reno again and feel the pure dopamine rush that is Natural Selection once again.

This fittingly titled establishment is an easy to miss gem of the city. The eclectic taxidermy animals will bring joy to anyone who visits. Aside from an assortment of baculum, taxidermy animals, and other oddities, this shop also provides comprehensive materials for constructing one's own terrarium.

Very cool store with a unique spin. Plants and taxidermy. The taxidermy is definitely not my thing or something I support, but for those interested in it they had a cool selection and it creates a very unique environment. The plant selection was fabulous and the overall layout of the store is very nicely done. They had a huge variety of a lot of things, including bonsai trees which was a nice surprise. The star dock is for the service. The ladies were friendly when their attention was directly on us, but otherwise it was an unprofessional environment. Three girls, including one of the owners were crowded in front around the register loudly talking about dating apps and and on their phones scrolls through tinder. I totally get it and related with what they were saying, and get that we were the only other people in the store (a young couple) but it still rang as unprofessional. When we did ask questions the owner didn’t seem quite as informed as one might expect, but she was perfectly friendly. Overall a very cool store and worth a visit.
Dominique S — Google review
Very fun little shop with Succulents and Taxidermy. The atmosphere is great here, the interior design is very well done and gives a somewhat “Harry Potter”-esq vibe. The taxidermy can be a little off putting but they have a very wide array of interesting and uncommon succulents and plants. I was so happy that I came here yesterday because I’d been looking for a Bonsai tree and they have a few fun ones in the back! I am so excited about my new little Juniper, I was definitely not expecting them to have any but the owner told me that they carry them from time to time (every couple months she gets a few). I will definitely be coming back here for more of my plant-based needs.
Alex I — Google review
Absolutely the best atmosphere in this little shop! It is locally owned by two amazing and lovely ladies! It is a great place to find rare and unusual plants as well as a large selection of taxidermy and other natural oddities. If you’re looking for something in particular that they don’t have they will take your info and find it for you in your price range. Make sure you have plenty of time to look around a couple times you will find new things everywhere you look.
Tierra C — Google review
This is one of the coolest hole-in-the-wall places in Reno. Super-well laid out, interesting items jammed into every corner. The prices waaay out of my price range, but I don't know much about taxidermy; they might be super cheap for what it is. Really cool to check out!

The paved Virginia Lake Park Loop Trail offers a gentle mile-long path perfect for walking, jogging, or biking while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere.
A wonderful little retreat from the desert. Great for a walk and some birdwatching... In the summer, there are probably thousands of birds that call this place home including many babies

I've called Lakeside Drive at Virginia Lake home since 2016, and I couldn't be happier with this beautiful community! The neighborhood is tranquil and welcoming, with a strong sense of community. I feel safe and comfortable here, surrounded by friendly faces and picturesque views of the lake. The area offers plenty of outdoor activities, from walking and jogging paths to fishing and birdwatching. Suitable place to take the dog on a road trip. Wouldn't let them drink the water. Paved paths for bicycles, dirt paths for dogs. Cute area.
Tiffany R — Google review
Surrounding trail is exactly 1 mile around the lake. Kids park is metal so slides get sizzling hot in summer. Lots of ducks geese and other fowl.
Shane B — Google review
I have mixed feelings about this park. If one is visiting it for the first time, then overall it has a nice look and feel to it. Obviously the plus is, you've got a little lake situated right in the middle of Reno (We are in the High Desert with little to no bodies of water period). So it definitely breaks the monotony. If you like to walk for exercise, then it's definitely the place for you! It's a mile around the entire lake, so you can get that heart rate up and walk a couple miles. If you've got a dog, then more power to you. There are A LOT of birds. And I mean a lot! They can be loud at various times of the day, and there's a lot of bird poop to go with them. But, overall it's manageable... Now, here's the downside. If you're thinking about a late night stroll or visit, then I highly recommend against it. Before I really knew the area, and we were living very close to the lake. I would go run it at night. 5-6 times around and I was good. But I noticed the later I ran, the creepier the area became. You've got guys driving real slow around it, looking for God knows what. Or perhaps a drug deal in one of the parking lots. Either way, the later it is, the least safer it becomes. There is an occasional police cruiser that makes itself known by circling the lake a couple times. But overall, it's great in the daytime- lots of trees and shade. And when the summer days are upon us, there is always something about being around a body of water that makes the heat a bit more tolerable....

Thali (Northern Indian Vegetarian Cuisine) Ambiance: Clean and no-frills space. Several tables assembled around an order counter which separates the cooking area and entry into kitchen. There is a doorway that leads to a bigger "courtyard" type of open space with additional dining tables. Service: Friendly staff who were attentive and trying to serve the patrons and still maintain social distancing protocols and adequate hygiene. Food: Homely basic Punjabi and northern Indian vegetarian dishes. Basic dishes cooked in millions of Indian homes. Familiar and good and satisfying healthy dishes. Foods that I remember being cooked by my mom as well as others over the many decades both here in America as well as when I visit India. When we took a trip to Reno in Sept. of 2019, we did the Donner Party tour with Sierra Adventures. They were great. The guy (forgive me I don't remember his name) picked us up from the hotel, we went to the office to sign the agreement and for him to get things in order for the trip. Probably about 30 minutes. It wasn't a big deal it was a nice view of the stream going through town. The whole drive was a couple of hours around the whole area starting in Reno and then driving almost half way around Lake Tahoe. The tour guide had snacks, drinks and a lot of information about buildings and places. The half way was at the Donner museum which was interesting (not as much as the actual tour), the car broke down but (can't remember why) we took a break at a nearby seating area till it was squared away. They we got on our way. It was really fun and one of the highlights of our trip. I would definitely use them again for another tour of the area.

Weird place. Me and my family went there yesterday with a couple of friends, when we were getting out and we were done we had to climb over fence… my nana is old and Tim told us to climb it and Jim said no they aren’t supposed to do that but my nana had to go across it and she was scared for her life. On the phone with Jim he changed the times from 10 to 1. Tim said we were gonna poke an eye out and he was making the little kids uncomfortable one of the lady’s apologized for how they were. The bad reviews are very true. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Sierra Adventures brought high quality tubes, life vests, and helmets. We had a blast going down the river and I felt safe with all my athletes going down - the most important part. We will definitely book another river float with Sierra Adventures next year. Thank you Jim and crew for a great time.

Had a great time today doing a last minute kayak trip. Had a group of six.....three experienced and three not. They made sure everyone was comfortable with equipment and Tim (our guide) stayed with us the whole time and showed us the best lines in the river. Got to hang out with Tim and the owner after the trip...and they were genuinely some cool dudes to hang with. The river isn’t crazy....but a good relaxing ride with some good rapids at the end. Looking forward to coming back and doing the ATV and clay shooting trip. Would recommend.

Reno Aces Baseball offers an exciting schedule of 60+ home games during the spring and summer, along with various special events and promotions. The stadium provides a fantastic experience for families, with opportunities to catch foul balls and enjoy hot dog days. Visitors can also indulge in margaritas while watching great Triple-A baseball games in a beautiful setting. However, it's important to note that clear bags are required for entry, and some visitors have suggested that the beer could be colder.
We love going to these local AAA games! They even have a playground to the right for kids to play! Our toddler loved it!

Parking was easy, $20 for a spot right next to the stadium. We sat in the grassy outfield which was really well maintained and close to beer and food. It was perfect since it was also right next to the playground where the kids spent a lot of time. The game was super entertaining. Lots of good baseball to be seen. Pitchers were throwing 100 mph pitches. There were a number of homeruns and several outstanding defensive plays. Great athleticism exhibited by the players.

Beautiful ball park. Love going to games. It's right by the Truckee river downtown. Very friendly staff. Food is ok. Don't bother spending extra for the Porsche club. They just serve green hamburger pucks and hot dogs. Not worth the extra $$. When it was Bugsy's, it was a real experience, gourmet food and snacks. Now they only serve hot dogs and gross burgers and they take it away in the 4th inning. Huge disappointment. Get the regular tickets, not a bad seat in the house. And you can choose from a variety of foods. Go Aces!

This was my to second year at Reno Aces for mother's day did not appreciate being out of flowers came early. My husband and son spent a lot of money that was needed for bills instead to sit behind home plate for mom saw flowers given out to men not acceptable this was a mom's day not there's. Sorry to say the whole day was crap due to the way everything was done as a family we will not be returning to the Greater Nevada field. The Wright family

Historical landmark
In Sparks, Nevada, you can't miss the chance to snap a photo with Last Chance Joe, a 32-foot figure that has become a local landmark. Originally located in front of the Nugget Casino to promote an addition to the building, this iconic statue was moved to the Sparks Museum in 2014 and is currently undergoing restoration.
Fun little place to walk around. There’s a nearby gallery and train museum. Couldn’t pass up a chance to take pics with Joe!
