Hotel
Nestled in the heart of Honfleur, Les Maisons de Léa, a member of Radisson Individuals, is a 4-star hotel that spans across a collection of 16th-century townhouses and a stone-built warehouse. Situated just opposite the Sainte Catherine Church, this elegant hotel offers easy access to the harbor and the old town. Guests have praised its prime location and cleanliness.
Absolutely fantastic hotel it's beautiful and the staff were very friendly and professional .Our rooms were amazing plenty of space The breakfast was amazing lovely laid out and all very fresh. I would highly recommend this hotel I'd you are staying in Hornfluer.
Alison O — Google review
Not sure how this hotel merits 4 stars. In price maybe, but nothing else. Unable to check in to our room until 4:30 for a start. Service was mediocre at best. I understand a historic building has its charm, and I’m more than comfortable paying over the odds for hotels in great locations but the price of this place and the absolute shocking state of the rooms left a lot to be desired. Half the electrics in the room didn’t work nor the telephone to tell them nothing worked. The sinks wouldn’t drain when brushing your teeth. It wasn’t that hot outside but the room was hot to the point we had 2 fans going and all the windows open. Sadly with the windows open it meant we had to listen to everything going on outside all night long. The walking tours apparently end outside the hotel at 10:30 and then multiple rounds of applause. When we finally managed to get to sleep we were woken at 5:40 by the rubbish collection and the emptying of about 500 glass bottles. The staff were uninterested with the feedback “it’s an old hotel” then don’t charge such extortionate prices per room. Would not recommend this hotel.

Disappointing & Underwhelming hotel Unfortunately we arrived at a busy time, therefore check in was chaotic and so was the area outside the hotel due to limited drop off space. We were a party of 8, travelling in 4 cars. We had previously emailed the hotel a couple of times to book car parking but did not receive a reply. During our drive we had tried to phone ahead to see what the arrangements were for arriving by car but no one answered the phone. On arrival we were informed that they had not received our emails and the car park was full. Naomi on reception was helpful & welcoming & even carried my heavy bags up the stairs! Our rooms were very comfortable but some refurbishment is needed for such a standard of hotel. In particular the carpets need replacing and the bathroom needed space for our toiletries. Evening dinner was disappointing in so far as we waited an hour before our order was even taken. We realised there was a function taking place in another room & the hotel appeared to be short staffed. There were only two people waiting on in the dining room. The dining room was reasonably busy and we had pre-booked our evening meal with our booking so it was not a surprise that we were eating at the hotel. The gentleman on duty was nevertheless polite, smiling, professional & apologetic. The waitress however was not remotely professional to the point of being rude. She may have been stressed due to lack of staff but she may need further training In her role dealing with guests. The food was good but we didn’t get our main courses until 10.00pm having sat down at 8.00pm. We have visited Honfleur on numerous occasions and chose this hotel as it looks very appealing on the outside. Sadly it did not live up to expectations for a 4* Radisson hotel. On this current trip we travelled across Holland, Belgium & France staying in some delightful places in various establishments and were thoroughly disappointed by our experience in Honfleur. Our previous hotels were of a similar rating but this was by far the most expensive and not worth the money.
Sarah K — Google review
Very disappointing and overpriced experience, from check-in to check-out. Worn down hotel with shabby room and common areas. Suite with stained, old wall to wall carpet, uncharming decoration and no ac. Uninspiring breakfast in smelly dining hall. Location is very central with pros and cons. Busy around hotel with church bells, open market from early morning and traffic but walking distance to most things. Town is unique with unbelievable density of medieval buildings and great restaurants. Best was free parking just outside hotel but cannot recommend Lea at all in its current state.
Peter K — Google review
Very disappointing stay. The photos on Booking are very misleading. This is absolutely not a 4-star hotel. The room was very small, nowhere near 25 m², the bathroom tiny, dirty and old, and everything in the room looks outdated, with filthy carpets everywhere. Way too expensive for what you get. I would never book again.
K L — Google review
Our stay at the hotel could have not been more perfect. For two English people who are still learning the language the hotel staff were incredibly patient and courteous. The room was lovely (we stayed in a Junior Suite) and the food at Le Tourbillon was first class. Thank you for making our stay in France so special.
Lee T — Google review
Our stay at this hotel was disappointing. Finding the location was a struggle due to an incorrect address on Google Maps, with no guidance provided. When we called ahead to inform reception of our late check-in, the woman answering was the only staff member there and struggled to understand us in French. Even in person, communication was difficult, though switching to English helped slightly. On arrival, we discovered parking had to be booked in advance, something that was never communicated to us—not even during the call. The lack of a lift was another issue, forcing us to carry our luggage to the second floor late at night, which we only learned about by reading the fine print on the website. Additionally, the toilet in the room was uncomfortably small. Overall, it was an unwelcoming experience with poor communication and lack of guest consideration.

La Ferme Saint Siméon - Relais & Châteaux is a luxurious hotel set in a former art colony, offering elegant accommodations, an upscale restaurant, and a spa. The 19th-century manor house is steeped in history as the birthplace of Impressionism, with its park inspiring renowned artists like Monet and Sisley. The guest rooms are opulent and cozy, adorned with rich fabrics, grand paintings, and rustic antiques.
A two night stay in January, travelled from England via the Channel Tunnel and made an easy drive down the coastal motorways ...The hotel was lovely, the staff were excellent and the food was of a high standard. We had a room with a steam shower which was great to have and the room was a good size with a view of the Seine estuary. The bar area and lounge were beautiful with well tended open fires and comfortable seating with great service from very professional staff.
Andrew B — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at this historic hotel. From start to finish the staff were warm, professional and friendly. The location was perfect, just a short walk from town (enough to be very quiet) with a fantastic view of the water. The staff at the reception were helpful in helping us navigate the city. Our room was spotless and the place was very well maintained. We also had a dinner at La Boucane for casual, hearty food and a delicious breakfast with the view of the water. We left with full hearts and will most certainly be back.
Doug H — Google review
The concierge Laurent is the best concierge I’ve ever had. So nice with great advice. Email him for suggestions before you arrive. This is a farm where many impressionist painters hung out. The buildings can be seen in paintings. Ask Laurent for the tour of the grounds so you can hear the stories about Monet, Boudin and others. Good food, nice people, comfortable. I thought Honfleur was hectic and touristy but this hotel is away from that but a 5 minute walk to the old town which is very touristy. I did not like Honfleur that much but we visited so many wonderful surrounding towns. This was a good base to see Le Havre, Etretat, Deauville, Beuvon en Auge and others. Don’t miss the Boudin museum and the La Havre museum and brutalist church. Very nearby and worth it!
Leslie B — Google review
It is quite amazing the enthusiasm French people express for Honfleur. While the 15th century architecture is remarkable, and we had one of the best meals of our lives at le Lingot, it is the equivalent of holidaying at the Newcastle Port. There is major industrial activity and the highlight of the view, quite literally, was the methane flare that continued to grow in size and volume over the two nights we stayed. The hotel itself was fine, although not worth the price. And while the staff did put in some effort to address our unhappiness about our bath not working (which we paid an additional 200 euros to have) and provided a small refund, it took many hours before they believed the issue was legitimate and many frustrating conversations before we were treated with the respect customers should receive.
Louis S — Google review
I have been all around the world. 70 countries. This place stands among the most beautiful and cozy places I have ever spent some time. The dining and bars are incredible. The little town down the hill is beyond charming. This is the quintessential French experience, especially when you are visiting the War Sites of Normandy.
Brittain K — Google review
Pros: Bistro Boucane staff went the extra mile when we showed up spontaneously, dinner service was excellent. Cons: We booked directly on the property website a deluxe historical room in the main building. Upon check-in and with no explanation we were led to a separate building and were shown a room with a bath tub standing in the sleeping area, which is an issue for us so we asked to be moved. We were then reassigned to another room in the same building, only to find out it was a downgraded Superior room, and still not located in the main building. Certainly not five-star level treatment and not worth the price point.

We had a wonderful stay at Ferme Saint Siméon – a truly beautiful place in a top location. The service was warm and excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

The ibis Honfleur is a down-to-earth hotel with informal rooms and a 24-hour bar, offering free parking and Wi-Fi. It's praised for being dog-friendly, providing thoughtful amenities such as dog rugs, food and water bowls. The ground floor accommodations are particularly convenient for guests with dogs.
Fantastic location within easy walking distance of the harbour. Ample secure parking to rear which was ideal for our group of scooters. Great rooms, clean and ample size
Andy C — Google review
Everything was good. Bed comfortable. Good buffet breakfast. Quiet. Heaps of safe parking. Only issue was that the air-conditioning had been turned off for winter and our room got extremely hot at 2 am because we didn't know. When we asked they told us to just open a window. We think it's great that they turn off the air-conditioning, better for the environment but put a note in the room that a) the windows are able to be opened and b) it's OK to do that. Also it's about a 20 minute walk into the centre, not 5 minutes as stated in the hotel info.
Gary W — Google review
Basic but great for an overnight stop in a good location. Friendly and polite staff. Breakfast a bit hit and miss but acceptable. Had a good pizza though. No kettle in the room though.
Marion P — Google review
I wish I could be more positive. We came here with high expectations due to its rating but especially the reception was very disappointing. We always want cold rooms and quiet (we mentioned that booking) And to our surprise the room was in the sun and next to the construction. Of all the places you can choose you choose the rooms 100% against our wishes. Also the airconditioning can’t be set lower than 21 and also reception can’t override this they say. They could in the past but not anymore. When we mentioned that this is an issue for us and that we were staying there at the same time of our wedding anniversary they just said they can’t and won’t do anything for us. The anniversary was also mentioned at time of booking and you can argue that the other items for the rooms are just a preference, doing just a small thing for an anniversary after a rough start would have been minimum. Just a card or something acknowledging that fact. But I guess this is even too much of a challenge for guest hospitality capabilities. We asked for the manager but not available at the time and we also guess coming back to us later is also to big of a reach in capabilities of this team. Such a waist while these small things make a difference. I travel a lot for my work but this is one of the worst I have ever encountered.
AirJay — Google review
I've breathed air that's harder than the pillows they use. The mattress is made of synthetic materials and you can slip right off with the wrong movement. It's so fake you'd think you're in an elderly home where they have to use plastic to avoid bodily fluids being spilled all over the mattress. The walls are so thin you could actually hear somebody close their door on the other side of the hallway and no! Not just for the sound! Your door and the walls VIBRATE because of that. Bread can be tougher than those walls. We had to check out because we couldn't sleep. Also don't try to find a parking spot after 9pm because if somebody decides to occupy 2 or 3 spots with their car nobody does anything. The answer? Look somewhere else. Like there's a parking spot nearby. But don't forget the moquette with stains all over! For 800 bucks a week you can have that too! And the icing on the cake: you can WALK from the hotel to the city center! Except there is no sidewalk and it takes 20 minutes on the side of a 4 lane street, on grass, avoiding holes and cars. If you truly want an adventure this is the place. To us this was hell. I slept on the floor in Africa surrounded by mosquitoes. THAT was way better. P.S. ask THRICE to clean your room or they won't do it.
Daniel N — Google review
The centre of Honfleur can easily be reached on foot while your car is parking at the hotel. The rooms are a bit small, I would not recommend this place for a longer stay. Breakfast was very good.
Beate — Google review
This IBIS is a really nice hotel which has been updated with a modern, fresh decor. There is lots of parking, including EV charging points. Access is via a steep set of steps which, at the time, were wet and potentially slippy. The welcome was efficient, warm and friendly. Our room was lovely and spacious and very comfortable. The usual IBIS shower room 'pod' was bright and fully functional. One minor irritation is that the soap dispensers were set too high on the wall that my wife at 5' 2" could not keep her hand horizontal underneath to catch the soap so it trickled down her palm and wrist. The breakfast area was bright and airy and a good choice of food was available. The hotel is located about a 10 to 15 minute walk into the centre of Honfleur, so is well positioned. However, we had to cross two carriageways and a grassy, wide central reservation (thankfully it wasn't wet) to get to a pavement so perhaps not ideal if you have mobility issues. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
John T — Google review
We stayed in the Ibis just out of town and it was amazing. Staff were helpful and friendly; breakfast was superb. Only a short walk to Honfleur. Good value.

This is by far the best hotel in honfleur. Better than the relais chateau up the road! We spent 2 days of our honeymoon there and the staff couldn’t do enough to make it special. Flowers in the room, champagne and the best room. Our little dog came along and she was allowed to roam off the lead including breakfast! The grounds are stunning. 15 mins walk to the town, 5 mins to the beach bar and very peaceful. Our room had the best view!! Thanks to all the staff for making our honeymoon so special.
Jon H — Google review
I have mixed fillings about this hotel. It’s a beautiful historic building, location and water view are great. The rooms however are outdated, bedsheets were very old, you can tell they’ve washed a million times. We stayed 2 nights and the breakfast first morning was great, everything super fresh, unfortunately the second morning we were served old croissants and had to wait for coffee forever. There’s also a restaurant which we went to on the first night. Food was ok, nothing great. However what we didn’t like that our server was adding portions to our table because she thought 1 wouldn’t be enough to share. We ordered a cheese plate from the menu, but got charged for two, one was more than enough for us. Couple people from the staff were extremely helpful and nice, the rest was just there, maybe due to language barrier.. Overall those things didn’t add up to a 5 star experience. This hotel is far from 5 star. As much as we liked the location we won’t be back.
Olga V — Google review
Nice rooms and friendly staff. Good location. Unfortunately, at €500 a night and a 5 star status, we were expecting a lot more. The photos and reviews suggest there is access to a pool, sauna and spa treatments but we were informed this changed last year such that access is now limited to a scenario where you book the spa villa. Breakfast (which is limited) is in a small room in the Manoir rather than an extensive buffet in the separate restaurant as some reviews suggest. Hotel amenities limited.
Ciara F — Google review
We had lunch yesterday and it was an overall disappointment. Service was not at the level you could expect for such a classy adress. Waiter was new in his position and not train to even properly retain the order. Food was less than average. Osters were good. The duck breast was plain, cooked on low temperature but the sauce going with it was just not sufficient and tasteless. Vegetables were not watery. Only potatoes had an interesting texture. Cheese plate was a true disappointment. Only 1 local choice, all portions coming out of the fridge so were hard and tasted like plaster as a texture. We decided not to take dessert as we were not spending more for our disappointed meal. Overprice for the quality of the food and the poor service
Gregory F — Google review
What a beautiful manor for an overnight stay. The rooms were large and the beds ridiculously comfortable. Breakfast was included and had the option to be brought to the room which was a great treat. Croissants were probably the best I've ever had and plenty of options to chose from. We were given the option to eat the on site Restaraunt, however there were no vegatrin options here. However the staff here went out of their way to recommend some great restaurants in the lovely town of Honfleur. We ended up having a great meal out, courtesy of the staffs recommednation. All staff here were excellent and very welcoming, a special credit to the young lad who checked us in, he provided us with dinner options and advised us, if we so wished, to visit his mother's jewelry shop in the town of Honfleur. We did so, and ended up making a purchase of a beautiful necklace. By the far the best stay of our trip. Thank you for having us
James — Google review
We arrived with high expectations because of the pictures and 5 stars. This in essence beautiful manoir didn't live up to it unfortunately. The views are very nice, the beach in front very big, but because of the road and the industry of Le Havre it is not the AAA feeling we hoped. The room with garden view is old and a bit small, details like bodylotion and a pencil are missing. The staf is very friendly. All and all we expected more. The 5 stars and the price/quality are not realistic.
Marinka L — Google review
We ate at the fabulous restaurant in the grounds of the beautiful hotel. We were met by the very friendly and welcoming Fred who showed us around and accommodated us at well. The location, the views, the food and the restaurant staff were excellent. We would highly recommend 👌
Mr S — Google review
Beautiful place to stay with friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was delicious with local produce and eggs cooked to order. We didn't use the restaurant or spa but both looked lovely. The room was small but very comfortable with lovely views. Bathroom a little tired but perfectly clean and serviceable. Very easy to walk down to the beach and in to Honfleur. We would definitely recommend this as a lovely, relaxing place to stay if you are visiting the area.

L'Absinthe Hotel is a charming accommodation located in a 16th-century building near the harbor in Honfleur. The hotel offers elegant rooms, each equipped with a spa bath and modern amenities such as a Nespresso machine. Guests can enjoy the convenience of complimentary wireless internet access and concierge services, as well as the cozy ambiance of the lobby fireplace.
We had a room overlooking the fisherman's harbor and it was great. Very nice accommodations, large bathroom (with jetted tub and rain shower), plenty of storage, and a comfortable bed. The hotel is located steps from the inner harbor. There are plenty of restaurants just seconds away with others within easy walking distance. The "for a fee" breakfast was plentiful and really fresh. Maybe the best croissants we had in France. Our hosts, Victor and Raphael, were very professional, friendly, and super helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Joe R — Google review
Absolutely fantastic little hotel. Just beware it doesn't have an elevator. It does have secured parking about A5 minute walk from the hotel. We were greeted by Raphael and he was the best concierge you could want. Very helpful in English and French. He can tell you anything you want about the town of Honfleur. He made us dinner reservations for both nights we stayed, as well as a fantastic petit-déjeuner. Just make sure you get your breakfast order in before 19:00 so he can call the patisserie because you'll want the pain au chocolat that he orders. It was the best one we've had on our trip in France.
David B — Google review
We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it, primarily for its location, the view from the room (ours overlooked the harbour) and the charming support from the staff, who are extremely helpful. We would have given it a higher score but the decor is a little lacking in some areas, the breakfast needs improvement and overall we wouldn’t describe it as a “boutique” experience, which left it feeling a bit pricey for what it delivers. These are relatively small issues in an otherwise positive experience and they wouldn’t stop us returning.
Tony H — Google review
We really enjoyed our 1-night stay at L'Absinthe Hotel and wish we could have stayed longer! Raphael at the desk did a great job of welcoming us and telling us sights we should check out in Honfleur, and also provided personalized breakfast service. They have a nice communal room and honor bar downstairs in the lobby. We stayed in the top floor of the second building overlooking the harbor. The room was beautiful and perfect for a family of three! Location was great, easy walking distance to sights and restaurants.

We spent three wonderful days in Honfleur and stayed at L'Absinthe Hôtel. A great hotel with a lot of history. A very nice and courteous team. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We felt very comfortable with Victor and his team and will definitely be back.

We were greeted and checked in by Raphael, he was very welcoming and also knowing it was our first time in Honfleur gave us a lot of great information about the town. Our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast is made to order and they bring in absolutely amazing pastries from a local shop in the mornings. The location is central, and the staff are also very helpful with dinner reservations for local restaurants.

Great hotel, located in the heart and center of Honfleur. supper perfect location. Great stuff, supper amazing service. you feel the passion of the stuff and their care of the hotel and the visitors. Great parking solution. Rooms are clean and redesigned. Great place.

Beware the no-refund policy. Many hotels will allow cancellations weeks or days in advance. Not this one. We had to cancel our trip due to medical problems, and were able to get full or partial refunds everywhere - except L'Absinthe Hôtel in Honfleur. So, when we reschedule our trip, we will NOT book this hotel

Le M - Hôtel Honfleur is an intimate hotel that is situated in the heart of the historic harbour town of Honfleur. Facilities include free WiFi, a restaurant and spa with a heated pool and sauna.
Stayed 1 night with our dog. Rooms are functional, small for our use and unfortunately no kettle for tea or coffee. Easy walk into town and great patisserie nearby for breakfast. Very friendly hosts.

Lovely little hotel that is very convenient for the town and port. It is a 15 minute walk but if you prefer there is a bus stop outside. The staff are very friendly and helpful but seem to work long hours! The decor is not to everyone’s taste but if you can get over that…… The rooms are small but clean and the beds comfortable (for me at any rate) whilst the bathroom was clean and functional. A shower curtain would have been good. Take your own travel kettle if you want tea in the morning, or coffee. The breakfast area was clean and the selection of food was very good. The pudding maison is delicious but I don’t know what’s in it. The pool is a nice feature and the sauna and steam room are very good. It’s all included in the rather cheap price for a night. I know prices are subjective but I didn’t mind paying for breakfast when everything else was included. The breakfast area doubles as a bar in the afternoon and evening. The only downside to the whole place is the dirty state of the carpet in the communal corridors. It needs a shampoo!!! There has been a leak in the attic and some point and the corridor ceiling has suffered somewhat and needs replacing. All told a nice little hotel that served its purpose for 2 nights and a visit to the nicest little port in France.

Hotel M Honfleur have been great! the lady on reception for check-in was very friendly and welcoming, the room was perfect for us - clean and convenient location for walking into honfleur. An additional bonus is that I left a belongings behind in the room and on contacting the hotel they replied straight away with a picture to confirm amd offer to get the item back. thank you so much!

Very nice swimming pool and sauna area. But the rooms are very small and bathroom is not practical (no barrier between tub and sink). Water pools all over the floor when shower. No AC in the rooms. The worst thing is the smell of the hallway to the rooms which is terrible.

Staff are nice and helpful. Location is near the port and town centre with a 10/ 15 min walk. Free parking. Breakfast is good. It can be better if there is water boiler in the room.

Good place to stay. Staff always helpful and friendly. Helped me to learn the names of different fruits in French following my asking for Jus de pomme-de-terre at the bar! They are mean with their free breakfasts but very nice.

Tulip Inn Residence & SPA Honfleur is a modern hotel located near the center of Honfleur, just 500 meters from the Vieux Bassin. The hotel offers upscale rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi and parking. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool and sauna year-round. The accommodations include studios and one-bedroom apartments, some of which feature a private balcony with views of the Normandy Bridge.
Great location, lots of off road parking and friendly staff. We are spending 3 nights here. We had one of the larger rooms, very well equipped with all you need. Swimming pool is a bonus. (We were the only ones in it today) Easy 10min walk into town, Lidl opposite if needed. Some English channels on the TV would have made room 5 star.

I have stayed here on a few occasions and each time has not disappointed. The hotel is a small walk from the centre of Honfleur which boasts great scenery and great food. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable with some having a kitchenette which is well equipped. The staff are very friendly, and if your French is a little rusty, they speak English to ensure you get the best experience. To top things off the hotel has a swimming pool and sauna which is free to access with your stay. For a small additional fee there is also a steam room.
Nick T — Google review
Nice room. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room very good. Wakable distance into town.
Chris M — Google review
Nice hotel in a great location. Only 10 minutes walk into the hustle and bustle of Honfleur, yet with the free parking you always have somewhere to park the car. Rooms at the front of the hotel can get noisy but this quietens as it gets later. Lovely swimming pool, nice gardens to sunbathe in. The Restaurant really only serves Pizza, but Honfleur has enough restaurants. Rooms are clean, and have everything in them that is needed. Kitchens could be bigger, but they do the job. Good powerful and hot showers, comfy beds, and a nice lounge area to relax in when not out and about
Chris D — Google review
Nice enough place and the children enjoyed the pool however the rooms could do with a spruce up. It's also a god 15 min walk into town so a bit of a trek to go out.
Claire I — Google review
Convenient location for walking to the port or town centre. Rooms quiet and comfortable. If there was any negative it would be the WiFi which was a bit patchy in the room - although how many people go to a hotel just for WIFi?!

The new name is Tulip Inn. Lovely hotel, sauna was closed but steam room was open until late (21h) and its FREE! Reception was very friendly, comfortable beds, large bathtub but needs a showerhead holder. Our room even had a hidden kitchenette! Free parking.

Nestled in the heart of Honfleur, the ibis Styles Honfleur Centre Historique is a vibrant and budget-friendly hotel that perfectly blends modern comfort with a welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy colorful rooms designed for relaxation, along with a contemporary bar to unwind after exploring the charming town. A delightful complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi add to the convenience of your stay.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is good, with a large selection. The hotel is located close to everything. Parking can be a bit problematic, with spaces at 12 euros per day right in front of the hotel, 23 euros per day across the street from the hotel, or 6 euros a day about 400 meters from the hotel.
Steve U — Google review
The hotel is a pretty standard IBIS Style place – it is not luxury but there is everything you need here for a basic stay. The room is comfortable with climate control, thick curtains, a standard bathroom and a nice bed. The breakfast was a buffet affair with a good selection of bread and croissants etc, yoghurt and cold meat and cheese. There is a free coffee machine available all day and also a small bar. There is plenty of parking available, but some carparks are cheaper than others so make sure you know the price before you park. The hotel is a minutes’ walk from the harbor which is beautiful to look at and surrounded by numerous restaurants. For a standard bar you should try Maddie’s, just around the corner (Happy Hour 19-21 every day!) The staff at this IBIS were fantastic, the person who checked us in worked quickly and efficiently. He was helpful, friendly, and enjoyable to chat with (in English, French, Spanish and Philippine.) Hon fleur is a beautiful town which is worth visiting for any reason but we used it as a base for a visit to the Normandy beaches and I would happily stay at this hotel again if we repeat the trip in the future.

What can I say about a hotel where you made a reservation 7 months ago, received a confirmation email of your reservation the night before your reservation, and then when you show up on the date of your reservation the receptionist tells you that they have no reservation in your name??? I don’t care what the hotel is like there is no excuse for this level of incompetence. The reception staff tried to tell us that it didn’t matter what evidence we showed her including a confirmation number she stood her ground and after we asked her if she had an available room she said she did. So the customer has to provide the employee with a resolution to this situation???? The discussion went on at least 20 minutes-REALLY!!!! Somebody should lose their job or be given a job at McDonald’s that matches their level of ability at customer relations- which is none. Shame on you Ibis Styles and Accor. Note we are All Accor members with Silver status and we showed her our reservation on their app. Her response, “That’s the company’s fault not ours.” So is Ibis a different company from Accor??? Do we look like we just got off of the banana boat??? Totally unacceptable.

Hôtel Mercure Honfleur is a laid-back accommodation option that offers bright rooms, a business center, and a bar serving snacks. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Honfleur Harbour and the town center, with most rooms offering views of the impressive Pont de Normandy. Guests have praised the exceptional service provided by Pascal at the front desk, who went above and beyond to assist with various issues and even secured a booking at a nearby restaurant.
Very well located with good parking area, rooms are nice and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast

We have stayed in Honfleur many times but never in this hotel. On arrival, a very pleasant and helpful receptionist broke the news that the lift was out of order! Our room was on the third floor, but she helped us up the stairs with our luggage. Although it was a struggle to climb the stairs at the end of the day, this was not really a problem – and helped work off all that French food! However, it could have been very difficult for elderly people or those with health issues. Our double room was nice, quite large and comfortable, with a wide double window. As usual in resorts like this, there wasn’t nearly enough storage space. No chest of drawers, very limited hanging space, not even any open shelves. This is really the only major criticism. We had wanted a twin but there are only three in the hotel and none were available. The bed was extremely comfortable, with a firm mattress. As requested, our room was at the back, away from the street. I don’t think there is much street noise here anyway. We had a problem with the safe, which was dealt with very speedily. Also the shower head kept dropping down as it was too heavy for the fixture; again, that was fixed very promptly. We opted to use the hotel car park, pricey at €12 per night. Decided not to have either their buffet breakfast or the 'express' breakfast as both were expensive. Altogether, we were very pleased with the hotel and the service. Thank you, Mercure Honfleur!

The Classic room was ample for our stay, and the bed was very comfortable, and large enough. We didn't book breakfast. The staff were pleasant and professional throughout, and the hotel position is a short walk, and good for access to the town.

Did a 2 night work trip and we decided to stay in this hotel, good location with a short walk to the town and many good restaurants, on site parking, a very good breakfast and a great team, the only down side was we stayed over a bit of a heat wave with temperatures over 30 degrees and the hotel air-conditioning wasn't working which made any time in the rooms very uncomfortable

KYRIAD HONFLEUR - La Rivière Saint Sauveur offers a warm welcome and attentive service from the staff. The tastefully renovated bedrooms and breakfast room provide comfortable accommodation, while the outdoor terrace is a pleasant spot for enjoying breakfast. The hotel is located more than ten kilometers away from the sea, so having a car is recommended to explore nearby restaurants and attractions.
We have just had a very pleasant three-night stay at the Hotel Kyriad near Honfleur. Before the holiday, I was a bit concerned that it was outside the main town, but we needed guaranteed parking so it seemed the best choice. I'm very glad we chose this hotel. First of all, the walk to the harbour area was very pleasant, and it was actually nice to stretch the legs after dinner with a short walk back to the hotel (about 25 mins). The area was quiet and pleasant as well, so no complaints about location. The room was clean and comfortable with very efficient and quiet air-conditioning. My partner is a light sleeper but we heard no noise during the night, so that was great too. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing! Absolutely loads of choice, including a local rice pudding dish - I couldn't believe I was getting the opportunity to have rice pudding for breakfast every day! Only one tiny thing I would change, and that is the coffee from an automatic machine, but this seems to be very standard in hotels these days. Overall, a fabulous place to stay. Highly recommended.

We reserved two rooms on August 16th and upon the checkout found out none of air conditioners worked in both rooms. Mind you this is mid August and it was very hot. Called the front deck and the manager checked air conditioners, confirmed they don't work and said it works in other rooms , but nothing he can do for our rooms... Really, did not offer to move to air conditioned rooms or offered a refund, just like it's supposed to be ? The reviews are glowing, hence expected an excellent service, the reality is far from the online reviews.

The property features beautifully decorated country-chic rooms as well as a 1-bedroom villa. Guests can enjoy gourmet dining and take advantage of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access, concierge services, and a picnic area. We stayed here for our last night before heading back to the UK after a month of travelling around Europe. We were very tired but this place gave us a second wind. What a lovely place and the people who run it! A very warm welcome, a very charming house and two-room suite, a stunning garden. We were there with our dog and would like to point out that this place is very dog-friendly (we could take our dog to the breakfast room which is not allowed everywhere). Before arrival, we were also recommended restaurants and our choice was reserved for us. We must say that it was the best restaurant we had in our month of travelling! Highly recommend this place and hope to return soon ❤️

This guest house is one the best and most memorable places we have stayed. Amande is an amazing host, so attentive and generous. Our room on the top floor was magnificent. The bed was super comfy, the shower luxurious, seating areas perfect for relaxing and reading and the views from all 4 windows incredible. Amande provided delicious breakfasts and we were greeted on our arrival with the most perfectly gooey chocolate cake and glass of wine. We couldn't quite believe our luck. Honfleur is a fabulous place to visit but Maison du Parc just topped off this visit absolutely perfectly. Thank you Amande.

I have stayed in many places in Honfleur and all over France through the years and this is by far my top experience! Everything exceeded my expectations. I loved the building, the artistic decor and the hostess Amande. She offered us a lovely homemade chocolate fondant cake with a drink of our choice when we arrived. For breakfast she made a zucchini crumble and apple tart. Amande included all of the usual french breads, fruit, cherries from the garden, yogurt, etc. The charming house is situated on a beautiful property with fruit trees and flowers. Roses frame the windows and the interior is decorated with artistic flare and great art. There is a country kitchen available to cook in if you like. The beds are very cozy and made up with soft cool percale sheets. The shower was excellent. Everything is super clean. The walk to the port is 8 minutes on a lovely quiet street littered with cute shops, cafes and an 11th century church. There is free parking on the property, a bonus considering the limited parking in Honfleur. Amande clearly loves to serve and create a unique bed and breakfast experience. I can't wait to return again and again.

We can't say enough great things about our experience at Maison du Parc. Walking into the gates is like stepping into a paradise - the landscaping is amazing, the mansion itself is gorgeous. Amande is the perfect host - we were immediately greeted with wine and a fresh baked cake. And every morning started with a full spread of delicious fresh baked pastries and more. Every day when we get back from traveling we were once again greeted with wine and fresh baked cakes. It's located steps from the best dining and attractions in Honfleur. Our room was super clean and beautiful. Everything is perfectly decorated. Had a crib for our baby, and everything is very family friendly. If you're headed to Honfleur I can't recommend this enough!

Maison du Parc, an ultra-chic and immensely relaxing retreat for grown-ups, in the heart of beautiful picturesque town Honfleur. It offers historical rooms with contemporary styling. The hotel is set in beautiful understated gardens. Amande the owner met us as we drove through the large wood gates. She knew it was by birthday as my partner had been secretly emailing with Amande to arrange an upgrade as a birthday surprise. And what a surprise it was. We stayed in the beautiful cottage in the grounds with views of the dreamy romantic main house with its green shutters, Virginia creepers climbing over the dark brick but carefully trimmed around the windows and doors. Amande came from the main house with a birthday cakes which she had made for me. We were going to go out for dinner that night but we got takeaway pizzas and ice cream so we could stay in and enjoy the cottage for the evening. Facilities include a large screen TV, Sauna, Freestanding bath and free WIFI.

We went for an evening meal. Absolutely superb food and service. We had steaks, perfectly cooked and the chef created a vegetarian option for me and it was delicious. Deserts delicious - my daughter said the custard with her chocolate fondant was better than her Nan's - praise indeed. Staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Didn't stay there so can't comment on the accomodation but the restaurant was outstanding. Would definitely return.

We loved this restaurant. Gorgeous setting surrounded by trees in blossom. The restaurant itself very pretty in a grand room but no stuffiness, the waiting staff were friendly and fun – our waitress Florine was a delight - and a row of tables down the middle with an array of curious looking wooden and ceramic animals, all very fun. It was packed on a Sunday evening with local French people and had a lovely atmosphere. Set menu means it's not too pricy for a family of five and the food was great, especially the profiteroles - best I've had - likewise the apple ice cream with Calvados. We'll go back.

Updated review: Mixed feelings. The hotel and rooms are really old, which in this case means outdated, and not rustic. This hotel rooms, especially the bathrooms need a complete renovation to catch up with times. The wifi also not working properly. It is either not working at all, or the available speed is so slow that it is even difficult to read the news. To say something positive, the location is great, Honfleur is within walking distance, but still outside of the town’s hustle and bustle. The restaurant on the other side is a very nice experience with good atmosphere and great food. The portions are huge. The service is fantastic and friendly.

Very close to honfleur in a wonderful location with a green garden there is this old hotel, with small room, super noisy. Prepare to hear all what you neighbor are doing and forget to sleep late in the morning. Impossible to sleep after 7h30 am. Cleaner enter in our room to start the cleaning before checkout time and no way to use the room we paid for until the checkout time. Really poor experience. The only plus is the location. Expensive for the quality you have. My recommendation is to add 20 or 30 euros on the price per night and sleep in the city centre

Very disappointed,Not sure how you can describe this as a hotel ,the room was small and cramped ,two small wicker seats dining chairs to sit on or lay on bed ,no water to drink in the room .The bathroom had a bath and Large shower head ,no where to hang shower head or curtain to stop water going every where Had booked a room in 2023 with a dog ,was allocated a room up four flights of stairs .. It is classed as hotel but know where to sit of an evening.Sunday night ,you came in and had to go straight to room as other doors to downstairs were all locked . Feel this place may have a good reputation for dining ,but would not recommend staying here

Hôtel Première Classe Honfleur is a practical budget hotel located in Normandy, offering en suite rooms with satellite TV, perfect for short stays or stopovers. The hotel features a garden and provides complimentary parking and Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy a low-cost buffet breakfast served daily in the breakfast room. While some guests found the rooms small but clean, others mentioned that the beds were low and suitable for only one night.
Première Classe Honfleur offers an affordable and comfortable stay for travelers. The rooms are well-maintained and clean, capable of accommodating up to three people, making it suitable for small groups or families. One of the standout features is the unlimited breakfast, available for just €6.50, providing excellent value. Overall, it's a budget-friendly option with good amenities and a focus on cleanliness.

The hotel is what you can expect of this kind of hotel. Not the most luxurious but the bed was nice and the room was clean. The receptionist Nathalie made my stay a lot better though. I had some trouble with self check-in and she didn’t hesitate to help me out. Thanks!
Sammy U — Google review
This is a budget hotel. It is basic but delivers everything you need for a budget price. The location isn’t ideal if you need to walk into Honfleur but it’s close enough. It is however near to a few places to eat and grocery shops. I recommend Amoretto for a good value Italian meal 10 minutes away. The hotel is very clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and generally very professional. On one morning breakfast was several minutes late but aside from that everything was good. Rooms are compact but functional. The en-suite bathroom is small but again it’s perfectly functional. The shower is reminiscent of a caravan or overnight ferry but the water was hot and plentiful. Breakfast was a basic continental affair. Freshly baked croissants were accompanied by baguette, wholemeal sliced bread (with a toaster) yoghurts and conserves. Drinks were orange juice and a coffee machine which provided a full array of coffee choices. All sufficient but no fresh fruit or meats/cheeses. Not ideal if you are on a low carbohydrate diet 😬. For the price we paid (approximately €70 including breakfast) it does the basics very well. It is not pretending to be anything more expensive so it’s true to itself. I would certainly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.

Do not prefer this hotel for below reasons 1. Very very tiny rooms and washrooms except bed nothing space.. Beds also bunk beds 2. Setting hot water in washroom is very big challenge here 3. Lot of insects waitomg at door to enter as soons as u open door

Very comfortable stay. Clean and tidy rooms. Nice location too as 2-3 food options are at walking distance.
Niket K — Google review
Stayed 2 nights May 2024. Very small rooms, caravan plastic bathrooms with clingy rail curtains. Good towels and wash soap provided. No air con and room got very stuffy. Quite noisy. But very clean. Cigarette smoke smells thru back windows The breakfast was basic (no savoury items) but enough. The outside facilities were excellent, undercover eating and relaxing areas with cushioned seats. Pétanque pitch and tennis table. Secure parking. A bit of a walk to the town but nice route thru the back street. (Not keen on the McDonalds next door, awful last minute meal there - so eat in town). However, absolutely full marks to the staff - we were on a long bike packing trip and had a problem with one of the bikes breaking so had to juggle length of stay and bike facilities and nothing was too much trouble for Natalie and her team. Really lovely, attentive, friendly staff which made our stay so much easier. Comfort wise it’s a good stop for a couple of nights probably but might be more difficult for longer with the limited size of the room,

This room is even smaller than in the pictures. It was like being in a very old style, plastic caravan. People were noisy all night coming and going. The rooms are extremely hot with no option for fan, air con or even an open window to give some fresh air. No facilities to make drinks or keep drinks cool. We ended up leaving at 4am as we could not sleep. Not worth the money. Over rated. Staff were abrupt and will definitely not be visiting again. Not cheap either, for an extra €20 we could of had a much more luxurious room a few mintues walk into town.

It extends over three wooden houses without an elevator, showcasing the typical architecture of Honfleur. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a fitness room, sauna, and even a foot massage room in the sand at La Plage.
Lovely hotel, in the heart of the Honfleur! Great small but nice rooms! Such friendly staff as well. We enjoyed the glass of wine and the glass of apple juice offered to us and our kids as welcome gift! Strongly recommended!

The hotel was in a fantastic location, the windows in my room looked right out to the church and bell tower, it was an amazing feeling to be able to open the window and look out into the church. It was only a few minutes to the basin and was near many picturesque roads. The beds were great although the pullout couch was squeaky. The bathroom was great, not much to say. Everything was cozy and clean and spacious. Overall a fantastic hotel.
Damon G — Google review
This hotel is a gem! First of all, staff was friendly and welcoming - everything you would expect from staying at a smaller type hotel instead one of the corporate chains. We stayed 3 people and a small dog in one of the apartments (separate entrance than the regular hotel) overlooking the square (see two photos). Our apartment was very comfortable, although be aware of that the staircase leading up to is is very small and steep - not something for someone with a mobility problem. The rooms charming and very nice, but definitely strong 3 star in terms of quality, finish and luxury level, that is why I give it 3 stars (it is a 3 star hotel after all), but we loved it there and will definitely be back. On Saturdays there is a wonderful market in Honfleur, which is right by the hotel (so expect a bit of noise from the vendors setting up).
Cafe L — Google review
The hotel was in a perfect location, right in the middle of the town. The room was functional albeit a little old and small and could do with some renovation. It lacked ventilation and was a little stuffy at first especially in the gruelling summer temperature, but thankfully there was a small fan to cool us down. Excellent hospitality! The hotel's proprietor and front desk staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, and let us use her personal phone to call the car rental company for a problem with our rental car.

Clean room, nice & helpful staff. While checking in we had language barrier, but they willing to help and tried to give us explanation. She also show and walk us to our room. On the weekend, there's a market in front of the hotel. It's worth to grap foods at the market, there's a lot of local cuisines. As there is a market on the weekend, the hotel will be unaccessible with car. Parking is quite far.

Very well located for the price. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy with very large bathrooms. We did not include breakfast but the staff was very friendly and helpful. We do not speak French but had no communication issues. There is parking on site for a reasonable fee but there is also a free parking lot available nearby
Jefferson L — Google review
All things considered a nice hotel for short stays. Small but free in-house parking spots for those who know their vehicle and know how to park in tight spots. Nice welcome. Rooms in the ground floor are not warm without airco, certainly a plus. Dated room decorations, but adding to the atmosphere of the place. Bathroom was clean. Bed was fine. Small and limited breakfast. Located in the middle of the town. The only minus point would be the wrecking noise made by pulling of an empty garbage container to the kitchen on the cobblestones in the inner yard in the middle of the night.
David L — Google review
Excellent value and very central. Great place for Motorbikes
Colum M — Google review
There was, let's put it charitably, inaccurate information on the part of the hotel about the available hotel parking spaces. We were briefly told that we had to park somewhere in the city. Then we were left standing. After we had digested that, we wanted to at least do our check-in so that we wouldn't have to lug our extensive luggage across town, as we didn't know where our car could ultimately be parked. We were rudely told that we had to leave the car park first. The hotel made no suggestion that we could leave our luggage at the reception desk, for example, or that someone could check us in together with our luggage. No solutions, only instructions in an inappropriate tone. In the hotel, the terms "friendliness", "customer-oriented" and "accommodating" seem to have no meaning. We waived check-in after an hour of discomfort. A guest house does not only have to look inviting, but above all needs atmosphere and a good soul so that guests can also feel at home. There was nothing of that here. Not Honfleur and the Hotel Diligence, then.

The hotel looks old. The hairdryer worked about a minute then it needs a rest so drying a hair is a challenge. On a bright side, it has a pool and water was nice so not a bad place to relax
Elizaveta K — Google review
(Translated by Google) Welcoming and attentive staff as we were upgraded to a room of 4 for access to a bathtub at no additional cost. However, if you wanted to take a shower, the hook on the wall was broken. The hair dryer is much too old, it doesn't work, and a dilapidated skylight that it would be better to change instead of repairing. Regarding the pool and Spa areas, no bathrobe, you do not have a foot in the pool except for those over 1m70. Very slippery ground if there are many passages. Despite everything, the hotel is well located, close to the city center and their pleasant terrace even if you have to go to the bar to be served.

We could hear the outside as well as our neighbors. A fan or air conditioning would have been useful, especially since there are families with young children staying here during hot weather, and the rooms are hot. The curtains aren't very blackout and let some light in. Aside from these minor issues, the pool was pleasant and the breakfast was good. (Original) Séjour de 2 nuits dans cet hôtel. Unfortunately, I made a mistake with the reservation date and the full amount was immediately charged, including breakfast, even though I never set foot in the hotel. I realize that the terms and conditions do not provide for a refund, but I still sent an email to explain the situation, hoping for a minimum of understanding or a goodwill gesture. Not only did I receive no response, but there wasn't even an acknowledgment of receipt. This total lack of consideration is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the establishment. A simple exchange would have been enough to make the experience less bitter. I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you expect a minimum of attentiveness or customer service. La Compagnie des Calvados offers a variety of experiences in the Calvados region. Explore the Normandy coast on a 194-kilometer walking route from Honfleur to Carentan, passing by beautiful seaside villas and natural spaces like Bois du Breuil and Falaises des Roches noires. Indulge in a homemade giant paella prepared at your location by a skilled chef, offering a personalized recipe cooked in a giant pan for an unforgettable culinary experience.
The lady in the shop was very helpful and clearly knows her stuff. We are not used to drinking such drinks, so she helped explain how to best approach drinking Calvados and let us try a couple of brands / types to show us the differences.
Arran C — Google review
We had the pleasure of meeting a truly exceptional salesperson during our visit. Edouard, who didn’t just sell calvados, cider, and poiré, but brought their story to life. His passion for the craft was unmistakable, and his depth of knowledge about the history, production methods, and regional traditions behind each product made the experience truly memorable. He took the time to walk us through the nuances of each drink, from the orchard to the bottle, and it was clear he took great pride in sharing this cultural heritage. Thanks to his warm and engaging approach, we left not only with a few delicious bottles, but with a much deeper appreciation for Normandy’s rich tradition of apple and pear-based spirits. Highly recommended for anyone who values authenticity, storytelling, and exceptional service.

Large airy apartment with added advantage of a private garden in a great location. Very friendly and helpful host.

Hello, We had very bad experiences booking and communicating with the landlady of Les Gîtes de Claire. We had booked directly with Les Gîtes de Claire 9 months before the planned trip, the entire amount was immediately collected and a quick cancellation within 3 weeks of booking (and over 8 months before the actual trip) gave us a 30% cancellation fee calculated. In addition, the landlady did not respond to email inquiries for a long time and it was difficult to reach her by telephone. We definitely recommend not booking directly, but - if at all - via portals with a free cancellation option. You should also take a close look at the premises. For example, in an apartment there is a toilet that is in a “passage” from the bedroom to the living room.

We had a good stay at Les Gîtes de Claire. The location is definitely the highlight — it’s perfectly situated within easy walking distance to both the charming town center and the old port, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The courtyard was a big help when it came to packing and unpacking luggage, even though parking itself isn’t private. You’ll need to park about a 5-minute walk away, and paid parking is required. The apartment itself was clean and functional, though the bathroom could use some renovation, and the beds were not the most comfortable. These small things kept it from being a perfect stay, but overall, the excellent location and charming setting made it a good base for our trip.

Fabulous apartment with a lovely rose garden to while away some time in. Great facilitie throughout. Claire is easy to communicate with & the apartment is very close to Honfleurs centre.
Denise L — Google review
Location is very central and the apartment was adequate for the money. My only gripes were that the bathroom needed a blind over the window for privacy, and more utensils for the kitchen. There was no worktop space and an island with stools instead of a table could have alleviated this. All in all a lovely stay!

Great place! I've spent a week there with my family it's cozy, clean, well located near the port, there is a market nearby... Overall great experience!

(Translated by Google) Located on a busy road, but you don't notice much of it in the room...fortunately. You can park in front of the door. Cozy room but very noisy Too bad because the owners were very friendly people. Breakfast was included and sufficient Very nice renovated bathroom with large walk-in shower. Very close to Honfleur for us, this stay in an old-fashioned, simple setting was a success. (Original) Aan een drukke baan gelegen, maar op de kamer merk je er weinig van..gelukkig. (Translated by Google) The only good thing is the location. Avoid. Noisy. Outdated decor and smells. Outside, there's a courtyard with Tancarville and underwear drying, trash cans, and full ashtrays. Towels are provided but worn and rough. The shower overflows because the drain is full. A room that's more or less decent, and for the second bed, an uncomfortable and narrow sofa bed! But the worst part is the owner, Henry Coquillettes! Don't make any comments; it's perfection! Some people are literally lynched after giving a rating of 9 out of 10. Attacks on people's body size, their nationality, their origins, rude language, calling people idiots. It's a shame that people like that can have a place on sites because of their attitude, their aggression, and simply the poor quality of the establishment! Change your business to supplement your income, sir, the people who come to your place are above all looking to have a good time. Do you sincerely find it normal to attack your customers who made a minor remark to help you correct it by giving you 7, 8, 9 out of 10! (Original) Il n' y a que l emplacement de bien. A éviter. Bruyant. (Translated by Google) We arrived late due to traffic problems, which was blamed on us by the lady on the phone. No relative information communicated before arrival but be aware: payment only in cash or by check! We were presented with a fait accompli. The room smelled damp, it was cold and the bed tilted completely. No pillows... Completely decrepit wallpaper. It's actually much smaller than you might get from the photos. The entrance is in a dilapidated passage which does not at all make you want to venture there. For that price (€95!), I advise you to go elsewhere. The services could be acceptable at a significantly lower price... But not at the price of a higher end hotel.

Pros: - lovely location in a cute street close to the main attractions; - dog friendly; -clean; - nicely furnished. Cons: - they have a garage where you can park your car right below the apartment: however, there is not availability for everyone. Alternatively there are public parking spots in town; - nothing is provided: no coffee for the coffee machine nor Sugar/tea. Only dish soap, dishwasher tablets (2) and a sponge; - kitchen utensils are not much but enough to cook something simple; - a weird smell was coming out from the bathroom.
