Castle

Local history museum
Inverness Castle, a majestic 1800s red sandstone fortress, stands proudly atop the cliffs overlooking the River Ness. Despite its turbulent past, including destruction after the Battle of Culloden, the castle has been restored to its former glory. Visitors can explore its lush grounds and enjoy panoramic views of Inverness city center and the river. The castle's unique architecture and rich history make it a must-see attraction in Scotland.
Inverness is a beautiful and charming city with so much to offer. The scenery around the area is stunning, from the nearby Loch Ness to the rolling hills and historic sites. The city itself feels welcoming and easy to explore, with plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants to enjoy. Whether you’re interested in history, nature, or just a relaxing getaway, Inverness has something for everyone. The locals are friendly, and the vibe is peaceful yet lively enough to keep you entertained.

Currently undergoing renovation there is no access to the interior of this, relatively modern castle. Closed or not it does dominate views of the River Nis and can be seen easily along Nis Walk

Only saw from the outside but was spectacular colourant looks new compared to some we have seen.
Sandy P — Google review
In my previous reviews also I have said the same thing that all castles are almost similar and they have nothing extraordinary to showcase except that they are castles & that’s it. The only one castle to see is the Edinburgh Castle on top of the Hill. Worth seeing. But if you can’t reach Edinburgh then any castle is good to see. As we were doing a road trip & we saw 3-4 castles. The only EXCEPTIONAL CASTLE was Edinburgh Castle. Must visit!!

The castle on 5/20/23 is undergoing restoration work and will be opened in a year or so as city services. It is a good walk around and is easily in the middle of the nightlife. There are storage and bars nearby open seven days a week. The Edinburgh Museum and Art Gallery are part of the same complex. I recommend a visit there.
Charles S — Google review
Not currently open to the public. You can walk up the hill to the castle and get great views of the city and river. There are some tablets set in the ground on the city side near the car park which have some interesting historical facts about the castle. It is going to be open to the public in the next few years.
Simon N — Google review
The following review is based on a pre-pandemic trip going old school and only using paper maps and brochures to find places to stop at on a 3-week adventure to Ireland, Scotland, and England. No cell phone or internet. We were not able to enter the castle but were able to walk around the grounds when we visited. The castle blends into the hill side so it looks like it is part of the terrain at some vantage points. If coming from the west, you can get some great shots from the river when walking across the foot bridge. It would have been cool to see inside but even walking around the outside of the castle was fun and the town around the castle has some great shops and restaurants. In our visit we were lucky enough to have live music at one of the pubs.

Nature & Parks
Ness Islands, also known as "the islands" locally, are a collection of small islands in the middle of the River Ness in Inverness City Centre. Connected by charming footbridges, these scenic and tree-filled islands offer walking paths and opportunities to spot wildlife such as otters, seals, and deer. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the riverfront area on both banks of the River Ness or take a mini train ride for a delightful experience.
Stunning forested area to walk around in. Even on a slightly drizzly and overcast day like it was for my visit, this was still an incredibly relaxing and scenic place to stroll. The tree cover also helped keep the rain off. Paths are well maintained so no trip hazards, and there are plenty of seats incase your legs get tired.

Fantastic walk through the park. A play area for kids and relatively easy paths for folk of all abilities. An oasis just on the doorstep of a vibrant town that is well maintained! We stopped at the mini golf and had a great time - really recommend for a fun day out with kids of all ages!
K B — Google review
A peaceful place to walk around and relax. Many benches and view points all around the islands 🏝 River Ness flows from each and every corner with a few cascades and small islands. Well lit and tarmacked paths. Victorian bridges and colourful trees. You can have a good walk around from city centre on one side through the Ness islands and bridges to the other side and back. It's an hour walk if you're not stopping but you better dedicate more time as you would likely stop enjoying the scenery.
Stefan S — Google review
Ness Island offers some really unusual views of the River Ness. It is a special area. We met loads of dog walkers. If you have a dog best kept on a lead but there are areas you can let them off. It was quite busy the day we visited but it was school holidays and it was a lovely day. Take your time to enjoy it is a nice area.

Very pleasant and relaxed green space not far from the city centre. Very pretty walk around the island. Highly recommended.

Beautiful islands in the river, with lots of tall trees, and interesting benches, and even an old fallen tree I named The Log Ness Monster. The suspension bridges to the islands are good too.

A must-visit if you‘re visiting Inverness.. you can walk from town down beside the river on one side, cross the bridge to Ness Islands, enjoy a beautiful walk, cross the bridge on the other side of the Ness Islands and walk back to town on the other side of the river.

Bar
Hootananny is a vibrant pub in Inverness, offering a lively atmosphere with traditional Scottish folk music and weekly ceilidh events. The high-ceilinged venue provides an authentic experience for visitors, complete with delicious Scottish cuisine such as haggis topped with mash potatoes, steak pie with new potatoes, fish and chips, Cullen skink, and porter pudding. Guests have praised the friendly staff and accommodating service at this charming establishment.
Food great and reasonably priced. Beer is available in half-pints for more tasting. Music is fantastic. And none of those are the best thing about this place: it's the hospitality. Highly recommend booking in advance. They will get you a perfect table for your party: near the stage, near the bar, near the back or upstairs. Two shows a night, so please try to share the fun. Such a Highland treat!
Laurence J — Google review
This tiny pub in Inverness is pretty cool. You can dine and groove to tunes while you eat. The service was a bit lacking though, especially for the size of the crowd they had between the bar and dinner service.
Papa B — Google review
Loved our stay here. Absolutely fantastic place. We booked a last minute room and was afraid it would be not so nice. But omg, it was amazing. My favorite stay in Scotland! The room was very clean and super cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the restaurant was just below. No noise from the restaurant! The food was fantastic and the live music Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend it!
Sarah — Google review
On a Monday, I met Tracy on the train returning to Inverness from my day trip to Edinburgh. I had only two more nights in Scotland and I wanted to experience live Scottish music. We were staying at the Waverley Guesthouse on Union Street and I persuaded her to go out to Ax throw at Playback. We were too late for that, they close at 7:00 pm. She was hungry so I guided her to Scotch & Rye Grill. We drank alcohol and she nibbled on pull pork. She did not look happy so I suggested let’s find another place. There are plenty of bars in the Historic area of Inverness, no need to take a taxi. The moment we read the sign, we laughed out loud saying HOOTANANNY. We walked straight to the bar to select our remedy. The live music was playing as we found seats to enjoy the performance. I looked at her face and she was radiant with happiness. Vhuntermassage LLC

Great pub, cool environment with lots of different seating areas and neat decor. Service was good along with food and drinks, everything was great and very reasonable. Fun place with great live music.
J K — Google review
If going for evening music, be sure to make a booking! They serve the best chicken pie I’ve ever had! Live music was wonderful. We went twice because we enjoyed it so much. Decent whiskey selection as well.
Ashley D — Google review
Our dinner was delicious, we really enjoyed the food. The cranachan cheesecake was good aswell. They have live music which brings a good atmosphere. There was one server for the upstairs dinning area, I think they struggled to keep everyone happy. We heard the people near us make a couple of complaints due to not having the attention of the server. I would come in with the mind set of needing some patience for the staff.
Ally L — Google review
Great venue. Food was absolutely fantastic and washed down with a few beers while foot tapping away to the live music. 10/10 WE’LL BE BACK VERY SOON

Inverness Railway Station is conveniently located about a mile from the Inverness Museum and Art Gallery, just a 5-minute walk from Station Square. The station offers flights to various UK cities and international destinations. It features well-sized platforms with a beautiful glass canopy allowing natural light in. Despite some disorganization at times, the staff are generally helpful. Amenities include a coffee shop, luggage storage, wifi access, and clean toilets.
All 5 stars are for the track supervisor “Jon”. He helped my wife and I today after getting zero assistance from the “oh so pleasant” lady at the ticket office a few days prior. Thanks for going out of your way to help us out friend. As I said, “you’re a good man”…🙏🏼
Mark G — Google review
This was a great station for both arrival and departure, with well-sized platforms for the trains! Station canopy is built from beautiful glass architecture, area not underneath is lit well by the sun and many platforms are available for the highland capital. Departure boards are up to date and even though the staff were nice, they were not organized since only a few other people in queue and they could not be ready for me to buy a plusbus after nearly 10 minutes.
K. P — Google review
This is a small yet adequately spacious station with an open layout that allows plenty of room to maneuver. It avoids the claustrophobic feeling all too common among train stations in various parts of the world. This one seems right-sized relative to the activity level. The stored luggage facility here was particularly useful for us as we were able to leave our luggage here on our last day in Inverness after we had checked out of our AirBnB. We were able to conveniently pick up our bags just before our train to the airport. The connections to other major cities in Scotland from here are quite useful. We did our ticketing via the kiosks there. They were in good working order and accessible the three times we used the station. We bought our local tickets directly at the kiosk and we bought our intercity tickets on-line to claim them at the kiosk. We had no problems. The building is not an architectural gem by any means and it does show its age in many ways. But it's kept up well enough and it serves its purpose.
Mark K — Google review
Toilets are lovely and clean. Don't mind paying 50p to use them but if anyone who has any influence there is reading these reviews please, please, please join the 21st century and go digital for the payments instead of cash! Literally, "tap and go" would be so much better.
Elaine I — Google review
I'm not a big fan of this station. The station looks run down and worst of all they charge for the toilets. I had to hold it in while waiting for my train. Not pleasant. The member of staff I meet at ticket desk was not friendly or accomidating. Overall very poor experiences.
Max H — Google review
Storage lockers are out of service (and have been for some while). Frustrating if you’re taking the Caledonian Sleeper. There are alternatives in town but some close at 6pm and others use apps which charge per baggage day rates (less good if you’ve only got a few hours to kill before your journey).
Daniel C — Google review
Very clean and spacious station, most large station's make a charge for toilet facilities, which is reasonable.
Malcolm G — Google review
Just a normal train station, not very pretty or particularly clean and the toilets cost money (20p). The staff are happy and friendly. When we went, our train was on time and we found the station fine. We got lost on the way from the station to the bus stop though and missed the bus. That's because the signs to the bus station are misleading. Better ask a member of staff or trust Maps to navigate.

Rose Street Foundry is a versatile venue that offers a range of experiences, from intimate acoustic sessions to lively nights out. On Valentine's Day, guests can enjoy an evening featuring live music, prosecco on arrival, and a delectable three-course meal. Meanwhile, their Sunday roast has garnered praise for its attention to detail and exceptional flavors. The private room upstairs provides the perfect setting for group gatherings with excellent service and delicious food.
Quite a different experience from the usual. I liked the games being played while we relish on our food. Service was at par. Thanks to the lady serving us. The food was good. I had soup of the day and my wife had a macaroni and cheese with garlic bread Nothing to complain about.
Arindam R — Google review
Looking for an early dinner and good scotch before heading back. The vibe and the building feels right. I ordered a Rose Foundry venison burger and also a flight of scotch whiskey. The wait time for the food is reasonable. Food and drink are amazing. Great selection of the whiskey for the flight to give you a solid topic with interesting variety. Fantastic Burger and fries, the meat and seasoning are perfect, only nitpick is the veggies and sauce make the burger watery and a little messy, but it is a great burger nevertheless. The waitress Kornella are very digilent to check up with customers to see if it is alright and introduce me with the historical background of the building. I feel lucky to choose this restaurant for the meal before leaving, giving me a good final notes to conclude the short trip to Inverness. Will recommend and visit again if I can go to Inverness again.
Joachim H — Google review
We had a group night out here on Saturday. 19 of us were given the private room upstairs for our dinner and what a brilliant night. The staff were so lovely - they couldn't do enough for us. Andrew made sure everyone had drinks while we waited for our food (which had been pre-ordered) the service was great, the food was delicious, and then after our meal we all headed downstairs for the band - who were superb. This venue has everything. The perfect place for dinner, drinks and dancing. Thank you to all the happy smiley staff who made our annual get together so special.
Alison W — Google review
A Sublime Sunday Roast at The Rose Street Foundary On a recent Sunday visit to The Rose Street Foundary, three of us decided to indulge in the quintessentially British tradition of a Sunday roast. Two of us opted for the roast chicken while one went for the roast beef. Both choices turned out to be exceptional. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the meal. The meats were perfectly cooked—juicy and tender, enhancing every bite with rich, natural flavours. But the true stars of the show were the roast potatoes. These were, without a doubt, the very best encountered in the Highlands—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. The presentation of the dishes was nothing short of beautiful, making the meal not only a treat for the palate but also a feast for the eyes. The Yorkshire puddings were the only items that did not completely dazzle, but they were still delightful not being home made and did not detract from the overall excellence of the meal. The staff at The Rose Street Foundary deserves a special mention for their impeccable service. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our dining experience was as smooth as it was enjoyable. The Rose Street Foundary offers an amazing Sunday roast that stands out for its quality and flavour. It is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the best of Highland hospitality and cuisine.

Fantastic burger, great slaw, crispy fries. No idea how this place is empty for Thursday dinner rush. It's not fancy pants and it's not pub rustic, but the burgers and fries are great. Come on in!!
Rose M — Google review
Maybe worth it for a drink but definitely not for food. Waited over an hour for a very simple order (schnitzel, soup, nachos and ribs). The only thing worth it was the soup and their beers. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and assume they were having a bad night based on other reviews.

Inverness Bus Station is conveniently located in the heart of the town, making it a central hub for travelers exploring the local area. It provides access to various transportation options, including buses connecting to other parts of Scotland and licensed taxi ranks. While some visitors have noted that the waiting area can be closed during early hours, there are nearby alternatives such as the library with its cozy atmosphere. The station also offers good signage for bus timings and has a friendly staff member who shares local tips.
Very compact city ,the river walk going from islet to islet is fantastic....take a picnic and settle down on one of the banks and just watch the river and life drift on by. It's a strange mix of buildings , lot of beautiful old churches mixed with what looks like 60s or 70s builds ...If you fancy a great pint would recommend the Glen Mhor on the banks of the river , they make their own and it's fantastic. Great time had by all, and if you fancy just using Inverness as a base, you have a vast selection of things to see and do out with the city.

A basic single pad rink which caters heavily for curlers during their season. Also offers hockey and figure sessions, plus synchronized skating and a few public sessions. Often closes April to July when they put a floor down and host Strictly Inverness and a few other events before relaying ice for summer skate camps just before the curling season starts again.

Family-friendly activities include visits to Whin Park, Nessieland, Inverness Leisure Pool, Urquhart Castle, and Frankie and Lolas Soft Play. Lovely cruise with friendly and knowledgeable crew members. We opted for the cruise and castle package so had a 30 minute breathtaking cruise to the castle, an hour to explore the castle and grounds, and a 30 minute cruise back. The cruise was comfortable and relaxing. Magical views of Loch Ness from the boat and the castle. A great way to see Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Parking is free at the hotel across the street and access to the cruise is through a walking path under the bridge.

I reluctantly took this tour package; bus, boat cruise Loch Ness and visit the castle. The driver, Malcolm (sorry I got it wrong) was the best. Totally recommend this tour and this company. Our experience was nice and no issues with our online bookings.

Very good tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable about nature, plants, animals and she gave us many many information about the area generally. Safe driving also. Mini tour in the centre of Inverness (we did temptation). The guide at the cruise was also good and sympathetic. Beautiful pictures! We stayed at Edinburgh but we took the train to Inverness and got back at the same night but we realised that it would be better going to Inverness for some days instead of Edinburgh. It was much more pretty, clean, quiet and seemed to have enough activities. Recommend it!!!

Arrive early- we almost got left the dock! Parking was very busy at the hotel and there was a 5-8 min walk to the dock! Great boat ride with info on the loch and Nessie. Castle stop was just enough time to see the ruins and short show inside the visitor center. There was a cafe as well but we didn’t have enough time to stop and eat, cappuccinos were good though!!

Lovely cruise ride and an amazing experience on the waters of loch ness. Very scenic views and you get to see the beautiful Urquhart Castle. Very friendly staff. A must do boat ride on your visit to Inverness and the best way to see the beauty of loch ness.
Yasmin L — Google review
What a phenomenal experience. The cruise was breathtaking and very informative with the amazing jokes shared by the young boy who spoke over the tanoid system. I was solo travelling and I even got talking to another person who was also doing the exact same thing as myself. It's amazing when you get meeting others from all walks of life. I can't fault the cruise at all, the countless amount of times I was in awe of the views. Towards the end, a member of staff even spoke to everyone aboard the cruise which I found very heart warming as I wasn't expecting it at all. If you're debating doing this cruise then take it from me, there's nothing to doubt. Just do it, so worth it.
Amy M — Google review
We went on a tour in 2009 and 2019. Both trips to Urquhart castle were great, in both cases we had great bus guides on their Temptation cruise. Will definitely go again.
Ryan C — Google review
An amazing experience. A very comfortable bus ride from Inverness to take the boat at Caledonian Canal entering Loch Ness. An amazing and cozy cruise to the Urquhart Castle, with incredible views! It was the perfect way to view Loch Ness. Luke was our very knowledgeable and helpful guide along the cruise. He made everything even more interesting since departing from Inverness. And the visit to the Urquhart Castle is unmissable.

Highland House of Fraser, a family-run business located on Huntly Street in Inverness, is renowned for producing some of the finest kilts in the area. The Scottish Kiltmaker Visitor Centre within the shop offers an immersive experience into the history of Highland costume through clothing exhibits, workshops, digital presentations, and films. Visitors can also opt for overnight rental services to don a traditional kilt during their stay.
Ordered a kilt and jacket while I was in Inverness in December. Measurements were taken and repeated by a second person to ensure accuracy. Timeline for order to be made and then sent to the U.S. was as expected about 2-2 1/2 months. Before they finalized the pleat, I was contacted to be sure the correct pleating method was used. Very pleased with the service. For context, I am ex military and a professional piper so I know my kilts.

Friendly and helpful staff selling quality garments, many of which are sourced and made in Scotland. All genders and sizes. One of the stores even allows for the observation of clothing being made.

Wonderful shop! I've been researching to purchase a full dress kilt for some time and recently took my family on a tour of Inverness and made time to stop in. Great process - the two gentlemen measured and double checked my size and selection. I came at a very busy time, but there was no rush and they easily managed every customer. Highly recommend.
Rod S — Google review
Great team double checked measurements for kilt, had it done before time required and in time to go home. Excellent craftsmanship. I couldn't find what I wanted and felt more time was given to hubby getting a kilt and would have liked to have gotten something for myself.
Michelle A — Google review
Not to be missed! Inverness has many choices for kilts and woven goods--they vary greatly in quality. Highland House of Fraser is decidedly of higher quality. They sew their kilts on-site and have a deep and quality selection for men and women. Seek them out!
Aaron D — Google review
I've been wondering where to begin with this review. We hired five kilts and a plaid from this store, as it appeared to be the only place in Scotland offering the Fraser tartan for hire — which I needed for my wedding this past July. From the beginning, the experience was difficult. On our first visit, the woman assisting us was unfriendly and did not seem confident or knowledgeable about kilt measurements or the various parts of the outfit. She repeatedly gave us kilts that didn’t fit, and in some cases, the same ones we had already tried. Eventually, we settled on just hiring the kilts and chose another provider for jackets, as they didn’t have our sizes or lengths available. Later, after considering the cost, we decided to cancel and were issued a refund (which, at first, seemed like a smooth resolution). Unfortunately, things took a serious turn after that. I began receiving fraud alerts from my bank, notifying me of multiple attempted charges: three for £100 and one for £50. It was only after this that I received a phone call from the same woman who had handled our booking, claiming she had “meant” to take a non-refundable deposit, something that had never been mentioned during our appointment. She later admitted this mistake but never apologised for the unauthorised attempt to charge my card. When I challenged the charge, she hung up on me several times mid-conversation, refusing to take responsibility. Eventually, someone from upper management called and apologised on her behalf. They agreed to waive the supposed deposit due to the lack of transparency about their terms at the time of booking. Despite all of this, I had little choice but to continue with the booking due to the specific tartan we needed. Thankfully, on our second visit, we were helped by a different staff member (I believe his name was Andre) who was friendly, professional, and re-measured us. His input actually led to several corrections from the original measurements. Without his help, I would’ve ended up in a much shorter kilt than appropriate on my wedding day. My mum collected the kilts and plaid, all packed in five kilt bags, for transport to Northern Ireland. We had also arranged for the kilts to be collected from the wedding venue afterward. The kilts looked fantastic on the day and were returned to the venue clean and neatly packed, as agreed. However, the collection process failed because the courier refused to accept the kilt bags unless they were boxed. House of Fraser claimed they had provided a box (which they hadn’t) and management then threatened to hold us liable for the missing items. This was despite us following their instructions and making prior arrangements with the venue. They continued to contact me by phone and email (during my honeymoon) asking me and even our wedding venue to supply a box at our own expense to send the kilts back. Despite the kilts themselves being high quality and looking great on the day, I would strongly advise anyone to avoid hiring from this business. The stress, poor communication, unprofessional behaviour, and the attempt to take unauthorised payments made this one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had and the most stressful of all plans for our biggest day
Craig F — Google review
This should be a store with a good reputation, that is why I bought a pair of gloves. However after only a month of use, one of the glove has already been broken. I contacted the store twice, to see if possible to exchange or refund, however no response. I would not recommend that store! After I added this feedback, they got in touch with me to try to make it right, but they didn't recognize it at first, and neither the gloves, they said they don't recognize this item as something they sell in the store. But after 4 emails, they finally deposited the money back.

Do NOT SHOP HERE as there are other places/shops with cuter magnets and this place does not accept returns even if you go back 5 min after purchasing it!

Greig Street Bridge is a historic pedestrian suspension bridge that spans the River Ness in Inverness, Scotland. Completed in 1881, it connects the eastern and western parts of the city, offering stunning views of the river. The bridge is known for its unique "bouncy" motion, where the suspension cables create a sine wave effect when pedestrians walk in sync, adding a fun and memorable experience. Easily accessible from both Bank Street and Huntly Street, it is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. The bridge is a perfect place for a leisurely walk, enjoying the scenic beauty of the river and the surrounding city.

Beautiful view from the bridge. This town has unique features, and quite peaceful. It is hard to find parking. We were able to park next to the grocery store with 2-3 hrs limit.

I visited Scotland in winter and in winter it was amazingly cloudy and foggy with a river view. You can sit for 3 hours for serenity on the sofas on the walkway of the river. You can view the photo
Jinish P — Google review
If you are a fan of bouncy bridges with no cars that cross rivers, then you'll love the Greig Street Bridge. Similarly, you'll love the Greig Street Bridge if you're a fan of Victorian engineering principles. If you're not bothered by these things, but want to cross the river without getting wet, then this is still a good choice. Beautiful views too, but that's standard in Inverness.

Used to live on greig street when I was a young lad and spend loads of time riding up and down on my bike and skateboard. Don’t think you can do that now but this a must see and must use attraction when you visit the capital, always good when you Get it bouncing, and don’t worry about looking daft doing it the locals are used to it, Couple probably use a sandblast and a paint though to be honest

Clava, Nairn Viaduct is a stunning masonry structure that spans the River Nairn and forms part of the Inverness and Aviemore Direct Railway. Designed by Murdoch Paterson, it opened in 1898 and boasts 29 impressive spans, making it Scotland's longest viaduct at 549 meters. The viaduct offers a picturesque setting for train crossings and has even been featured in scenes from the Harry Potter films.
Gorgeous sandstone viaduct with a very impressive 29 spans making it the longest in Scotland. Viewed from afar at Milton of Clava and the Clava Cairns. No trains today though
Vicky D — Google review
A lovely combination of history. The Viaduct being the younger structure still in use by trains today. The Clava being the much older ruins/graves. Both are near each other. It's a good place to stretch your legs.

Just south of the village of Culloden Moor, the Highland Main Line crosses the valley of the River Nairn via the beautiful Culloden Viaduct, known also as the Nairn Viaduct. It was designed by Murdoch Paterson and opened in 1898 as part of the Inverness and Aviemore Direct Railway and at 549 metres, it is the longest masonry viaduct.
Koen — Google review
Its a beautiful sight to behold and we got glimpse of it from a near by road thanks for Google maps and navigating the tiny roads. Not a place you would spend too much time

Good stop off point for RV In north kessok near the RNLB centre. Good cafe and hotel for food stop overers and a leg stretch

An important bit of infrastructure for pedestrians and vehicles. The bridge has good views of the firth from it and of Inverness area. I'm very pleased you can walk across and my only improvement would be a new lick of paint.
Max H — Google review
One of my favourite bridges and well worth a walk across. There are parking areas on both sides and I would recommend walking on the Beauly firth side during the summer months to avoid wind accelerated dust particles that can sting. The views are amazing especially early or late to catch the sunrise or sunset.

The Kessock Bridge is a cable stayed bridge connecting the village of North Kessock and the city of Inverness in the Scotland. If we want to get the full view of the bridge you need to navigate to “Stadium Road, Inverness, post code: IV1 1FF”. There is a parking bay on the Stadium Road. I was able to see the full view of the bridge from Stadium Road. - Wide angle lens is handy to capture the full view of the bridge. Kessock Bridge video is on YouTube "London Aaga Bites" (pls search for the video "riUDV9F4hZA")

Suspension bridge with good view of Kessock. Not far from the bridge is a pull in where you can go down the steps (lots of) to Kessock. It was October when we went so very, very quiet but the shop was open & there was a cafe too. Well worth a visit.
