Greek restaurant
Pitogyros Traditional Grill House is a low-key restaurant located in the heart of Oia, Santorini, known for serving local staples like souvlaki and gyros. It's considered one of the best places to enjoy gyros on a budget. In addition to gyros, they also offer souvlaki and giant platters for sharing. The bustling terrace provides a great spot to savor delicious food while taking in the lively atmosphere.
Incredible patio eatery (and take out) with beautiful views of the water. Lively crowd passing by. Don’t be fooled, the portions are very generous! A full lunch and drinks here was well worth the walk over. All food items look delicious but the gyros are definitely superior!
Daniel P — Google review
Covered outdoor seating makes it a comfortable spot to eat in or take out. Note that if busy, you’d have to add your name to the wait list to eat in. I had the chicken gyros pita, and my gluten-free partner had the pancetta main (he wanted to get the chicken souvlaki but was told only the pork mains were GF). Both were well prepared and tasted good, though I would have liked a thicker, fluffier pita. Service was helpful - our server clearly knew the gluten-free options, which made ordering more efficient.

Pitogyros Traditional Grill House is a bustling Oia favourite serving authentic, flavour-packed Greek eats, great vibe, tasty gyros, and worth the wait. This place was absolutely buzzing when we arrived, which is always a good sign. Clearly a popular local go-to, and it’s easy to see why. Food (4/5): The pork gyros were excellent; juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavour. They’d run out of chicken gyros, so I went for the chicken souvlaki instead, which had a nice smoky taste but was just a touch dry. Still tasty overall, though. Service (4.5/5): Even with the busy crowd, the staff kept things running smoothly and stayed friendly throughout. Was probably a 10-15 minute wait which is a touch longer than expected but they were busy so it’s understood. You could tell they’re used to handling the rush. Atmosphere (4.5/5): Bustling, lively, and full of energy. Exactly what you’d expect from a beloved grill house in Oia. The kind of spot that gives you that classic Greek taverna experience. Overall: Authentic, well-executed, and great fun. A small miss on the chicken, but still a top-notch feed and a must-try in Oia if you want that real Greek grill vibe. Rating: 4/5 ⭐️ Lively, tasty, and satisfying, worth joining the crowd for.

The only souvlaki you need! Came here after dinner at a fancy restaurant and got a souvlaki for dessert because I was still hungry — haha, so worth it! Absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Definitely a must.
Jono K — Google review
Absolutely amazing gyros! The chicken and pork were amazing and cooked to perfection - juicy and tender. The fries are unbelievable! Fresh and crunchy. It may seem pricey, but the plate had a lot of meat and fries. We had gotten take away and ate at the steps right around their sit down area since they were busy. Highly recommend trying this shop!
M C — Google review
Pitogyros: This place is incredible! Open from early till late in the evening and runs like clockwork. The staff are incredible. They work non stop! The customers just keep coming, to the point tables have to be booked in advance. Your turn comes round pretty quick. If you’re after authentic, proper meat filled Giros, this is definitely the place to go. We visited here twice. We got a very nice warm welcome and the service was second to none from all staff members. We would definitely recommend this place if you’re after an authentic, Greek filled Giro. We would definitely return and would highly, highly recommend. Thank you for the PitaGyro experience 💫.
Trehan — Google review
THE BEST GYRO OF MY LIFE! Really cute small restaurant that has only few tables for dine in. I recommend ordering your food to go and then eating by the window where there are small ledges. The wait for a table was maybe 20 minutes while we got our food to go in 5! The staff here are so kind. I ordered the pork gyro in the wrap and I honestly dream about it all the time. No other gyro wrap will ever compare. The meat is so tender and juicy and flavorful. The perfect ratio of meat and fat! I also ordered a Greek salad which was fresh and the perfect portion. My boyfriend ordered the pork gyro platter which is actually meant for 2 people. It's huge!!
Melissa D — Google review
We wandered off the Main Street in Oia as most of the restaurants were very overpriced. We just wanted an authentic Greek experience without spending a fortune. We are so glad we took the extra time to find this restaurant. We got there when it opened and within minutes it was completely filled and a line was building. That was a good sign. We ordered the hummus, a gyro and a souvlaki. The food came out very quickly, the portions were good sized, and it was amazing. Easily the best hummus and best Greek food we have ever tasted. The price was a fraction of what we would have paid in the main tourist area. This is definitely worth the walk to experience true local cuisine.

Skiza Cafe, located in Oia, is a charming spot known for its authentic local experience and stunning views of the caldera and Aegean Sea. The traditional Greek architecture adds to the cafe's beauty and elegance. With a wide range of dishes on the menu, visitors can enjoy delicious pastries on the ground floor and savor panoramic views from the upstairs terrace.
Great little find in Oía. Not many places do pizza so this is a great option if you’re feeling it. We got a nice welcome. We were given the choice of sitting downstairs indoors or up on the roof. The roof option is a must! The pizza options are great. Plenty of options to pick from. We ordered 2 small pizzas 🍕 and that was more than enough for the 2 of us. They also have the options in large which could be a little too much for 2 people. All in all, a great place, great service, and a great ambiance. Thank you for filling us up! Definitely recommended if you’re in the area. 💫
Trehan — Google review
Pretty restaurant with stunning views! Definitely recommend it, went there with my girlfriend for brunch and was super nice, the staff is very friendly and the menu has lots of options. The food is delicious and for a reasonable price, has lots of stores around to check as well!
Lucas C — Google review
Very good food 🍕 The chef does his job well. Bad-tasting drink. I ordered a mocktail with a nice picture, but I got just some juice with two pieces of ice — I'm not satisfied at all! But a good view.
Ghulam H — Google review
Note that these comments are based on vegetarian dishes ordered just before their closing time … We were looking for options to eat and this place looked good and had great reviews too so we tried, at 11:15 pm…and they told us they are open so in the end my expectations is that they should serve us as well with the same way like you go earlier in the day Ordered two pasta dishes, pesto pasta and pasta with tomato sauce also added a mocktail from their special menu…. Verdict: - Mocktail: Average, specially for the price of EUR 10 - Tomato sauce pasta: Not good, was not fully cooked, they didn’t use olive oil also felt like it was made with tomato puree instead of fresh tomatoes.. - Pesto pasta: this was better but again didn’t feel like they used olive oil here as well Now either they use some other variety of olive oil or it was late so they just did a make shift arrangement but overall we did not like the experience. Also on telling the server the issues we were just told that they do we use olive oil and the taste of the tomato sauce pasta might be because of sage in it, anyway felt more like excuses and the server was not also willing to entertain any complains… Given that so many have written good reviews maybe other dishes of this place are good and maybe if you go earlier in the evening they might serve better with more fresh stuff but to us this was unfortunately not the experience :-(
Abhinav S — Google review
Amazing views, my Airbnb was literally connected to that restaurant. I ate there almost everyday. Everything tastes amazing from ice cream 🍦 to Pasta 🍝. The staff are very accommodating, i sat where I wanted. I even ordered to take out. This is a gem and a MUST try.

The view was amazing, the service was fast (!), and we got the best seat in the house without a reservation. The Greek salad, local beer and prosciutto pizza were so delicious after a day of adventuring. Love this casual spot.

Great little cafe in Oia. Arrived around 9am and it was very empty. Lots of seating - and upstairs too - all with beautiful views. Ordered the Freddo Espresso and the Freddo Mochaccino and both were delicious. Definitely recommend this spot!

It’s all about the views! I went there for coffee, sandwich, and yogurt; they were all good! The views are unbeatable and the waiters were super friendly. Although my consumption was small I never felt rush to leave.

Galini is a chic hotel offering bright rooms and cave-style villas, along with a rooftop cafe that serves complimentary breakfast. The hotel's terrace provides stunning views of the caldera, while the Galini Cafe offers delicious breakfast options and later in the day, traditional salads, light meals, and desserts. Guests can unwind at sunset with cocktails while enjoying lounge music. Additionally, there is a tavern called Galini in Monholitos known for its fresh seafood dishes and beautiful beachside location.
We were mid-writing trip while in Santorini and needed a solid breakfast spot to kick off the day, Galini Café delivered. We hadn’t booked, so waited around 10 minutes, but lucked out with a front-row table right on the edge. If you’re reserving, definitely ask for that spot, the caldera views are unreal. The food was fresh, tasty, and well presented. Service was relaxed but attentive, polite and responsive without feeling over the top. Perfect morning reset before diving back into work. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

Even though the location is obviously amazing and the food menu is quite special and has a some really cool choices, such as coconut yogurt which is rare , the service is actually a joke. They had to make my omelette three times because they could not understand that I wanted no salt and oil and kept bringing it with. The water came half an hour after we had seated, and the one of the two coffees hadn’t been noted. it was obviously a disaster. And for such an expensive breakfast , honestly disappointing and unacceptable.
Maria L — Google review
I ordered Greek coffee with sugar on the side. When I asked for a stirrer, one server told me you’re not supposed to stir it and that I should have asked for sugar to be added before brewing. The lady who took my order never mentioned that, and since I’m new to Greek coffee, I had no way of knowing. Anyway, the food was mediocre and the service was just meh. Great view of caldera though.
Kim K — Google review
Best view. Very nice atmosphere The girl who served us was very nice and friendly, however some of her colleagues were not. The guy at the bar a bit on the rude side. We were going to have more drinks and a salad but decided against. the cappuccino was dreadful. And €7 ! Not sure is worth the price.

Location, Location, Location! One of the best views in Santorini. Beautiful cafe overlooking the Aegean Sea. Have a seat, relax and grab a drink and something to eat and soak in the beauty. It’s a nice walk from the cable car and away from all the cruise passengers.

My family and I visited this brunch place 2 separate times on our short trip of 3 days in Santorini (it was that good). The highlights: 1. Iced Latte – some of the best coffee I've had; perfect ratio of coffee to milk, not too sweet (you can adjust this), the serving is large. 2. Greek Yogurt with Walnuts and Honey (and there's another option with granola and fruits) – being from Canada, I've only had packaged Greek yogurt from grocery stores. This yogurt, on the other hand, was honestly the best thing I've ever had. It was smooth, had a great consistency, and wasn't thick like I'm usually used to. Alongside walnuts and, what seemed like, fresh honey, this was delightful. You pay a premium for the view, but for a great breakfast/brunch/quick afternoon coffee, visit this place for sure!!
Sidd M — Google review
I went two days in a row. The first day I was rushing to get to my tour so Rafaela recommended a sandwich to go that was delicious. So I came back on my last day in Santorini because of her. I had an amazing breakfast with excellent service. Oh, btw there's a beautiful view here too. As a solo traveler I highly recommend it.

This cafe is the best in Santorini. I love matcha latte and barista does an awesome job. The cappuccino fredo is excellent as well. Of course the view and service are one of kind and I will be coming here every day. 🎉

Onar Restaurant Bar in Santorini offers a fantastic dining experience with friendly and helpful staff who are happy to provide recommendations. The restaurant serves delicious dishes such as Halloumi, grilled sausages, Risotto, and Moussaka, all of which are described as some of the tastiest in Santorini. The portions are generous and the atmosphere is enhanced by the stunning view. Additionally, Onar Restaurant Bar provides indoor seating in case of uncertain weather.
Onar is a visually stunning restaurant. Rooted with a sea view with a modern and luxury interior. The food presented beautifully along with good portion sizes. The food itself is mouthwatering, full of flavour and quality. The staff are very friendly and the service was impeccable. I had a lovely time here and it was very memorable. I highly recommend

The smoked pork steak was a hit! 3 of the 5 in our group ordered this entree, and we all LOVED it! We enjoyed lots of delicious appetizers and drinks as well. This was a perfect spot to watch the sunset and enjoy our last meal in Santorini.

Lovely atmosphere with an extraordinary sunset view over the Caldera mountains. Food was delicious with not so overwhelming prices. We took Chicken Risotto and Kebab Plate, both are recommended. The service from the staff was very nice and friendly.

We visited Onar's off of a whim and were so glad when we did! The views from this restaurant was amazing. The staff treated us like family and gave us recommendations that didn't disappoint! We ate here two more times during our stay in Santorini, that should tell you something! Definitely go for the veal and the octopus starter, a true game changer! We're definitely looking forward to coming back to Santorini and will be eating here again.

Rastoni is a restaurant located in Fira, offering stunning views and delicious food. It is recommended for its reasonably priced moussaka, a rich casserole of ground lamb and veggies. The restaurant provides great views and it's advisable to make a reservation, especially for the third floor during sunset. Visitors enjoyed appetizers like bruschetta and zucchini fritters followed by dishes such as beetroot goat cheese risotto and flavorful lamb shank.
The food was amazing here! I tried at least 3 dishes and all were full of flavour. The view was also amazing. The food was quite expensive but great portion sizes and delicious taste! Only disappointment was that they wouldn’t add anything to meals (I wanted to add chicken to my pasta, and would’ve happily paid extra) but they only remove items.

We came on a Saturday night, with one of the best tour guides on the world. She knew the manager, so she called him directly and he was able to get our group of 9 a table. They have upstairs options and downstairs options, but no matter where you sit the views are amazing. We ended up downstairs in the shade. The manager/owner came over to greet us as we sat down, with a round of water. Our server came right over after that. After our drinks came, we asked for appetizers: tomato fritters, Greek salads, bread with olives and pink dipping sauce. All delicious. Entrees included pasta, risotto, moussaka, and I had a tuna steak stuffed with beetroot puree. Everything was absolutely delicious. I also had a few bites of the cheese cake with tomato topping, which I know sounds so strange but it was amazing. If I am ever back in Fira, I will definitely come back here. ευχαριστώ

Absolute gem. My wife and I were referred by our tour guide and we had a great time. To start, the view is stunning. We had dinner about an hour before sunset. The waitstaff were kind, helpful and excellent photographers as every tourist asks them to snap pics 📸. I had tuna which was fresh and succulent. I highly recommend.

I'm so glad I made reservations here based on a recommendation from a fellow traveler. We were seated upstairs and had a wonderful view of the caldera, village and sea. Not to mention a beautiful sunset. The drinks were yummy, service was quick and friendly, and food was excellent. The bill was surprisingly low considering how expensive this island can be. Would recommend this place highly!

We had a lovely meal at Rastoni Concept in Santorini. The zucchini fritters were crispy and flavorful, and the fresh pitas with tzatziki were a perfect start. The mousaka was rich and comforting, and the local fish was simply grilled and delicious. Great service and a beautiful setting made it a memorable evening. Would definitely recommend!

Perched on a serene terrace with stunning sea views, Iriana is a charming family-run cafe offering an array of delectable dishes at reasonable prices. Whether you're craving refreshing iced coffees, hearty sandwiches, or indulgent pancakes, this place has something for everyone. The attentive staff adds to the inviting atmosphere. Visitors rave about the club sandwich and fruity cocktails as perfect evening treats. Additionally, it's recommended for its picturesque setting and friendly service.
Iriana Cafe is an amazing spot with stunning views, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service from Christ. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and made us feel so welcome from the very first moment. Christ went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and even took the time to chat with us and share local tips. His positive energy and genuine hospitality really stood out. Every single item on the menu is tempting! We unfortunately had to cut our time short because of our cruise port limit. The hosts there are fantastic super fantastic. The drinks and food we got were delicious. We have never had a baklava that tasted that good. Added bonus, the view! Highly recommend!

The experience was strange. I didn't like the service. There were four of us, and they wanted us to use only one table, which was too small for the dishes we had ordered. When we asked to use two tables, the waitress didn't look at us very kindly. As for the food, it was very good, I really loved it. And it has incredible views.

Wonderful place to have a cocktail and see the sunset (perfect spot). The waitresses are very kind and friendly, helpful, and the service is prompt. The drinks are very good and well-made, although the gin and tonic tasted a bit too much like cucumber. We didn't try the food, but the dishes looked interesting and well-prepared, as did the ice cream sundaes.

I can't thank the girls at Iriana enough. They are all amazing! We had a party of 9 and from start (booking) to finsh they were super helpful and accommodating. Every member of the party had a great time and felt well looked after. The food, drinks, view and service were all amazing! I highly recommend if you visit Santorini to take a visit to Iriana! Amazing spot with the best views of the caldera. Definitely fills up fast the later it gets, but we arrived around 11:30 and were able to snag a spot for 2. The Freddo espresso is delicious, and we also got the baklava and turkey club both of which were so fresh. Service is a bit slow because there are so many people, but it wasn’t a problem because it gives you more time to enjoy the views.

Restaurant
Taverna El Greco is a popular spot in Fira, known for staying open year-round and being a local favorite. The restaurant offers a variety of meat options like skewers and gyros, as well as limited vegetarian choices such as pizza and fritters. Visitors recommend trying the veg pizza, which is generously topped and satisfyingly cheesy. Despite some mix-ups with orders, guests have generally enjoyed the delicious Greek dishes offered at this establishment.
Really nice restaurant. The waiter was super chill and helpful to explain to two tourists how to eat a gyro. 😂 Also their beef stew and rice was fantastic.
Dennis — Google review
It's a good option if you're staying in Santorini. They delivered on everything they promised. They gave us a free glass of wine and a 15% discount. The pizzas were good, but we found the starters a bit small. The service was also excellent and friendly.
Antonella G — Google review
We were hungry, they offered us a sample of the lamb and we were hooked. Everyone was pleasant and the restaurant was very clean and efficient. The bathrooms were clean and the hummus was good, not much more I need in my life at that point. I liked the tomato fritters-had to try. The owner gave us a free dessert which was very tasty cake, no idea what it was but tasted homemade and just the right amount of sweetness. I would go again if I was in town.
Karen ( — Google review
I had lunch at El Greco a few days ago and it was a very disappointing experience. The bathrooms were in absolute chaos—no locks on the doors, dirty, and neglected even at midday, which does not inspire confidence about the hygiene of the kitchen. The service was unfriendly from the start, with no real welcome or attention. I asked for fresh, unfrozen food and was advised to take the pork gyros, which turned out to be frozen. After pointing this out, another waiter took over. I switched to lamb skewers, but they were poor in quality, the fries were frozen and undercooked, the plate itself was chipped, and the tzatziki tasted store-bought. Even the salad was just plain tomato with no dressing, and there was no olive oil on the table. Overall, the food was tasteless, sloppy, and overpriced—€18 for a frozen gyros or lamb skewers with little more than a bit of salad feels like a rip-off. The whole place felt dirty, chaotic, and careless. Judging from other reviews I’ve since seen, my experience was not unique. El Greco comes across as a tourist trap: unfriendly, unhygienic, and overpriced. Santorini has so many wonderful local places with real hospitality and fresh ingredients—this is one to avoid.

The bar offers a cool atmosphere, allowing guests to see into the kitchen while enjoying music from a DJ. The friendly and helpful staff enhance the dining experience. It's recommended to book early for an unobstructed view of the sunset.
Very nice dinner. Excellent hummus and spicy cheese dip to start. They were delicious. Orzo with eel and prawns were outstanding as were the pasta dishes enjoyed. An issue we had with one dish was dealt with professionally. We drank the pelopanesse white, as the Santorini offerings were a little too pricey for our budget, it was an excellent wine. Thank you for a nice evening. Oh and the breads are fantastic!

An unforgettable meal at Kaliya. The food was absolutely outstanding. We especially loved the beef cheek pasta and the ceviche with coconut sorbet that came as part of the service was a refreshing surprise. The desserts were fantastic, beautifully presented and delicious. From start to finish, both the food and the service were truly exceptional. Every dish felt carefully crafted, and every moment felt special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the island!

One of the best meals we have had anywhere, and our favorite of our Greece trip. We had the scallops with an onion/bacon sauce and corn puree and it is the most perfect bite of food! As a couple we split three appetizers and it was a perfect amount of food. Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible experience! The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant, and every dish was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — especially the manager, Mike, whose hospitality truly stood out. Lunch was so good we ended up coming back for dinner the very next night. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

The Seafood Platter was pretty good, even and the meat was cooked to perfection, a nice fond in the bottom, though I thought I looked a little unimpressing at first glance for 39€. Nice bread and potato “sauce”. Giouvetsi was good and the taste was immaculate, I was really missing a bit more shrimp, but there was enough of the smoked eel. A nice cocktail, Silk Road Sunset, with a really good aftertaste of Campari. Now the bad part… when I came I asked for a table near the balcony, of which 50% were vacant, but I was told that I could only have a table further from the balcony, due to reservations. 10 minutes after I was seated, two ladies walk in and ask if they can have a seat at the balcony, and are told yes, even though they don’t have a reservation (I asked), and when I was about to finish another couple were allowed to sit by the balcony. And mind you, at this point there are still 3 empty tables at the balcony, and I had a really hard time seeing all of them as reserved judging by the activity level of the night. My advice, book in advance if you wan’t to have a chance of getting a balcony table.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant in Santorini! The waiters were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional — they made us feel welcome from the very beginning. The food was absolutely delicious, featuring fresh local dishes, perfectly prepared. But what truly made it unforgettable was the spectacular view— we caught the perfect sunset with a panoramic view over the caldera. Exactly the kind of magical moment you dream of when you think of Santorini. Highly recommend this place for a special evening!

Outstanding food. Large vegan menu. Service was outstanding. Portions very generous. Highly recommend the bread basket, dips and salads. Everything is fresh. Topped it off with an espresso. Kaliya reminds me of Kaalia. Those who know, know.
Aswani D — Google review
If there was a Greek god of coffee and baklava then he has made his home here in the Kaliya kitchens, or he is disguised himself as the manager Mikhaiel. After eating my main, Mikhaiel suggested with a twinkle in his eyes that I get a baklava and a Greek coffee with it. Let me tell you... It was the greatest suggestion I have ever received. The baklava alone was crispy and sweet with the perfect crunch.... and the Greek coffee was the smoothest, richest and most flavorful iteration I have tasted to date. Paired with the baklava... It was magical... One bite, one sip, changed my life and i shall never be the same. If the aforementioned euphoric description wasn't enough to convince you, then you should know the balcony view is incredible, but make sure to have a reservation because you don't want to miss out. My advice to you. Go now, don't wait, get that reservation. But make sure to befriend Mikhaiel the disguised God of Coffee and Baklava from Crete. He will never steer you wrong. Adieu

Nestled in the heart of Fira, Kira Niki Tavern is a culinary gem that captures the essence of traditional Santorini cuisine. Renowned for its delicious dishes offered at reasonable prices, this charming eatery has become a favorite among both locals and visitors alike. Many travelers find themselves returning daily during their stay, drawn by the warm hospitality and friendly service provided by staff members like Dimitris and Kristo.
Amazing traditional Greek food, very tasty and great value. Food is made everyday and with fresh local ingredients. All the traditional Greek food is served here and is home made by locals. Lunch time menu is bigger than dinner time menu. The recommendation is to go at lunch time where the atmosphere is surrounded by local people and food is generous. Highly recommended restaurant, definitely I will be back.

No frills, no showmanship, nothing fancy. Just pure good simple local food done best. It’s an unassuming place at first glance. You just pick and choose what dishes you want from the already prepared selection (similar to Singapore’s caifan), and its free-seating. But omg, all the food are packed full of flavours and the portions are humongous. The bell-pepper stuffed with rice was beyond our expectation, mouthwateringly delicious. We also ordered an ala carte grilled pork which was simply out of this world. Simplicity done best, it was tender, flavourful, juicy. And most of all, the dishes are extremely affordable as well. The most value-for-money meal we had in our 2 weeks travel across Europe. I sincerely missed this place after leaving Greece.

A lovely traditional style tavern where you see the prepared food and choose the home cooked meal yourself. We had beef with pasta which was so tender and flavoursome, fish with rice and vegetables. All the food was fantastic and the cute friend we had with us 🐱 made our lunch even better.

Authentic greek tavern with selected premade dishes. The chicken soup was outstanding. The grilled dishes were on point. And the octopus was large but soft. We also love the rustic environment. The friendly service was topped with complimentary ouzo.

Delicious food. Only negative it closes early at about 10:30 pm, for Greek standards anyway. 😊

One of the tastiest moussaka we have eaten in Greece so far. The perch with lemon sauce, which we ordered pasta along with it, was also very delicious. Portion sizes were quite huge and generous, and the price is very reasonable. They are open during off peak season, so it is a good place to eat if you are here during winter.

Tropical Bar, located on Marinatou St., is a popular spot to enjoy a drink while watching the breathtaking sunset over the caldera. While it may be pricier than other options, the view and atmosphere make it worth it. If you're looking for a lively atmosphere later in the day and into the night, Kira Thira and Koo on Stavrou St. are bustling spots.
Amazing bar with an incredible view! The cocktail prices are pretty standard for the area (~€15 each), but they’re worth every cent—top-notch quality✨, plus we were treated to some tasty little snacks on the side. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The waitress is an absolute gem—so warm and welcoming that she instantly makes you feel at home 🥰 (Went there twice, hehe..) If you’re in the area and in the mood for a drink, I can’t recommend this spot enough! ⭐️

Nektar Lounge is a must-visit spot in Fira, Santorini. It offers a unique dining experience with magnificent views of the entire town and the yachts in front of the island, especially during sunset. The atmosphere is wonderful, and while the food may not be the best in town, the cocktails are superb. The seafood pasta and Hugo cocktail come highly recommended. The restaurant also offers reasonable prices for such breathtaking views.
Views and service were incredible. We ordered the moussaka and seafood pasta. The moussaka was so flavorful, like a less heavy lasagna. One of my favorite Greek dishes discovered. The seafood pasta had the perfect noodle texture- my only wish is the sauce a bit more flavorful. Overall, a beautiful location with excellent staff and service.

If you like to dine and watch the sunset in a great relaxing atmosphere then this spot is for you, if good food then it maybe a hit or miss, we ordered 3 dishes and 1 was good (Salad), other 2 were a miss. They were asking for tips, which I've never had to pay while visiting Santorini, except for tonight.

What an experience! We had a wonderful sunset dinner at Nektar Lounge with the most amazing view of the caldera! The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. We had the halloumi, saganaki, carbonara, mushroom risotto and baklava and they were all amazing and so reasonably priced. What I loved was that they didn’t have a minimum spend policy like a lot of the restaurants in Fira, just a deposit when booking (which is completely understandable), so I would definitely recommend!

Svoronos Bakery is a popular spot on the island, known for its delicious pastries and coffee. Visitors rave about the Freddo cappuccino with its tight foam and affordable price. The baklava is described as syrupy with numerous layers, while the cream-filled pastry cone is a must-try. The bakery offers a wide selection of treats, including huge croissants and dream-worthy chocolate croissants.
Amazing spanakopita and everything else! It’s Open 24 hours, so I went here at all hours to buy water bottles since the local water isn’t potable. Beautiful variety of desserts!

Incredible sweet pastries and savory spinach pie treats. We enjoyed the honey and nut pastries/baklava and spinach pie. Best of all they are open 24 hours 7 days a week.to satisfy your cravings any time of the day. Stop by and see the friendly staff who treat you as sweet as their pastries.

The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty treats in a warm atmosphere!

We found Svoronos Bakery while waiting for our morning transfer near the upper cable car station in Fira — and what a great discovery! The air is filled with the smell of fresh pastries and coffee, and everything in the case looks too good to choose just one. We tried the ham and feta pie, several types of croissants (including one filled with Philadelphia cream cheese), and — because you can’t pass it up in Greece — finished breakfast with baklava and coffee. Every bite was fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. Even though it’s in a busy tourist area, Svoronos still feels local. The staff were friendly and quick, and it was a perfect place to sit outside, enjoy the view, and watch the morning energy of Fira. Whether you’re heading out on a tour or just exploring town, this is a perfect breakfast stop.

Been there almost everyday for morning or afternoon coffee and food. Very nice atmosphere with ample of choices of food and drinks. We took several pastries from this bakery and everything was utterly delicious. We had 4 types of baklava, the chocolate cake and the spinach feta pie. I am quite picky when it comes to food and sweets especially. This was one of the better places I've been to on the 4 islands we visited in the past weeks. Especially with baklava, there are immens quality and taste differences. This bakery could totally convince me. The price point is very fair for what you get and the ladies were also super friendly. It's too bad we are leaving today, I would have loved to try more!

ΦΟΥΡΝΟΣ Passaris Bakery is a hidden gem in the bustling area of Oia, offering a wide range of affordable and delicious takeaway options for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. This family-run bakery opens as early as 6 AM, making it convenient for early risers or photographers looking to grab a bite before starting their day.
The BEST bakery in Oia, and we tried them all. The baklava was packed with nuts, more than any other baklava. The service was horrible, but that’s okay because the sweets made it worthwhile. Our favorites were the baklava and the galaktoboureko
Cami T — Google review
An ok bakery on the main strip of Oia. Stopped by here as a recommendation from our hotel, the workers spoke little English but it was enough to get our order in. The spinach and ricotta pie was ok- don’t think it was baked fresh that day as the pastry was tough and chewy compared to others that we’ve had. Coffee was average and the sweets lacked flavour. Overall it’s an ok coffee and snack stop and one of the few in the area.
Kieren N — Google review
Great little bakery with a plentiful selection of produce. Don't think the lady speaks any English and the man has limited English, but enough to understand what you want. We got some orange pie and coconut pie, huge portions for 3€ each - a third of the price we paid in a cafe up the road. Okay you cannot eat in as such, but come here and save money! Funny moment - we asked the man if the cakes were homemade by him or the lady and the stern answer we got was "NO!" That ended the small talk and polite conversation abruptly!

Cute little unassuming place to stop for coffee and snacks after the Fira to Oia hike. Friendly staff and seemed like where some of the locals were hanging out.

Going to shoot pictures early in the morning in Oia? Drop by! This place is one of the few ones open at 6 in the morning. Family run bakery. Small, local. Great baklava (3 eur) and cheese pies (2 eur). Very reasonable prices for Oia. They also do pretty darn good coffee. Excellent pick me up.
Jonathan N — Google review
True hidden gem in that not so hidden and expensive gem called Oia. This place deserves 5/5 just for its existence. Not relying on advertisements, it's delivering what it's supposed to - great bread and bakery products for more than reasonable prices. Especially people traveling on low budget will appreciate this place. My dinner expenses at this bakery were 2 Eur compared to 30 Eur that I spend on my lunch in restaurant before. I like offer of ice cream cones that were most likely home made. Also baklava looked tasty. Perfect options for those that like sweets. I went for salty cheese filled bread and it matched my expectations. There are also some common grocery store products at the shop so you can buy water, more sweets, or some Santorini souvenirs at the place.

What an amazing stay we had! The staff is trúly genuinely friendly and make you feel right at home - from arrival until departure. Any staff member you come across on the beautiful premises has a high service level and is very attentive and caters for all your needs. The hotel is not situated on de busy Caldera, but only 5 minutes walking from it - ideal!! We had a room with a pool and watched the sunset from there so could skip the busy streets of Oia. Breakfast is a la carte and amazing! Such good quality! We tried both restaurants on site and both are excellent! Lovely staff and good knowledge of what they’re serving. We spend most our time in the upper level pool close to Pac-Man restaurant, but both pools come with a beautiful view. It is also build against the hill, but buggies can give you a lift any time. Cleaning is good and also friendly. We will certainly return…. This hotel ticked all our boxes!!
Corine S — Google review
While Andronis Arcadia has a beautiful setting and strong reputation, my personal experience left me disappointed in several areas of service and professionalism. For the cost of this property, I expected far better. Issues I experienced during my stay: Private pool cleanliness: Upon arrival, our pool was filthy—full of cigar wrappers, leftover floaties, and other debris. I reached out via WhatsApp, was told someone would come “right away,” and two hours later no one ever showed up. I ended up cleaning the pool myself. Only after I followed up again did anyone arrive, with no apology beyond “sorry” and no offer of service recovery, credit, or gesture of goodwill. Lack of communication about bell staff transport: The property is built on a steep hill. For two days we unnecessarily walked up and down the hill, not realizing bell staff can drive guests to and from their rooms. No one ever explained this at check-in or during our stay, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. Slow and inattentive breakfast service: One morning we sat for 5 minutes before being acknowledged, another 10 minutes to receive a menu, and another 10 before our order was taken. Once finished, it took an additional 15 minutes just to get the bill—and only because I flagged down someone other than our waitress. While leisurely dining can be lovely, we wanted to eat quickly and get on with our day, and the service made that impossible. For a property of this caliber, these issues showed a lack of attention to detail, responsiveness, and guest care. Overall, I left feeling the service did not live up to the luxury standard they advertise, which was disappointing.
Steve D — Google review
The staff are very attentive and polite. The Natura suite is amazing. Breakfast are something too. Well located in Oia: close to the center and far from any noises and potential disturbance. Thank you to all the staff at Andronis who made our stay exceptional.

Most importantly, the staff were exceptional warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile.It is a luxury hotel, but worth every penny. Hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. I was extremely nervous planning my proposal and the staff at Andronis took care of every small detail! The staff were on hand at every waking hour via WhatsApp and helped make last minute tweaks for our special day. I’d like to particularly thank Maria who checked us in for such a warm and welcome arrival. But truly all staff were amazing! Another small detail on the night after our engagement was arriving back to the room with a candle lit and flower decorated room with engagement balloons! An amazing touch and truly warmed our heart. Even without amazing service, the views and decor of the hotel is incredible. Truly cannot recommend this place highly enough!

We came back to Mrs. Georgia after 4 years and enjoyed a clean, peaceful, and relaxing stay. Even though prices have gone up everywhere, here they actually dropped — yet the quality of the services remained just as high. I warmly recommend the studio with a private pool. The water temperature can be adjusted as you like, and the view is stunning. Perfect for a honeymoon stay. We’ll definitely return!

We would give them 10 stars if we could! From Georgia and her husband’s incredible hospitality to the breathtaking location and view from our balcony, this accommodation made our stay in Santorini so memorable. We arrived around midnight on a Wednesday and her recommended driver, SV Tours, was waiting with a sign for us. Upon our request, Georgia had purchased bread, cheese, olives and beer for us since the restaurants nearby were closed at that time. The breakfasts were a highlight of the trip and a great way to start our day. The sunsets will live on in our hearts forever. On the last morning, we overslept and Georgia politely knocked on our door and made sure we were awake 30 minutes before check out. She even gave us some extra time to vacate the premises and told us not to rush. We felt like this location was the perfect location to see the iconic cliffs of Santorini, while avoiding the masses. We would highly recommend Santorini View Studios to everyone who has a trip planned to the island.

Absolutely amazing. The view is spectacular, could not be better. The room is immaculate. The location is ideal - less than a 2 minute walk from more than 10 excellent restaurants (not to mention several markets and gelato parlors). What a gem! Perfectly and conveniently located near fantastic cafes and restaurants. Easy 15 minute walk to Fira. Easy connection to path that connects to Imerovigli all the way to Oia and Ammoudi Bay. Breathtaking views. Breakfast was delicious and had great variety. Georgia was very hospitable and helpful with information and recommendations. She was always accessible and delightful. The room and entire place are immaculately clean. Can’t say enough good things. We were so comfortable that we woke up each day forgetting where we were. Having the fridge and coffee utensils in the room was very useful. Free public parking lot is very nearby. A bit tricky to find but we asked a friendly shop owner who pointed out the correct stairs.

This place is absolutely amazing! It feels like a peaceful haven where you can escape the Santorini tourist bustle. The rooms and the entire property are spotless, there aren’t too many stairs, and the staff is incredibly helpful with luggage. However, one place that stands out is Manos Pastry Shop, known for its delectable meletini dessert. This hidden gem is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Best pistachio icecream ever. Period. Tried cookies flavor also but pistachio was much better. It costed 2.7Eur for a scoop with cone. You cannot beat this quality and price combination in Santorini. Suggest the owner to please update the name to begin with English and add icecream in the shop name so more people can find and enjoy their lovely icecream and at fair prices. Best ice cream on Santorini! Got 2 very big scoops for 5€ which is a fair price. Loved the flavors pistachio and jogurt :) I will definitely come back
