There are old coins also which were used during different dynasties. I like this place very much and visit it as I get time. One must visit and specially students would get knowledge of our history from here.

It was very astonishing place to visit who loves to know about the historical sculptures & arts. Unfortunately I couldn't spend much time, hardly I could spend 10 minutes but it is really time taking who really wants to see the deep artistic culture of India. The weather was really great, I visited the Dumna nature reserves for the first time even though I have been staying in Jabalpur for a long time. Beautiful trail amidst the city. Went for an evening walk and the park is well maintained, easily accessible & very reasonable to visit. Nestled away from the hustle bustle of city, & the best part is the lake. So peaceful, perfect for a walk, picnic spot or even just spend some quality time. We go to nature park but there is no animal available or very difficult to see in the forest. But If any one needs to see the forest and connect with nature, then they can go otherwise no need to go for animals.

Chousath yogni 🛕 is located near bhedaghat Jabalpur. This temple is old monument about Kalachuri time 1000 Yr. ago .famous for it's natural beauty ancient sculptures.

This is one of the most peaceful and best ghats in Jabalpur. You are mesmerized by the beauty and might of Narmada River. The ghats are less crowded and there is ample parking space here. You can also enjoy boating here. Daily Aarti at 7:30PM is not to be missed. There are small shops selling puja items. And you can enjoy boat rides here.

Nice place. We visited during monsoon and the river Narmada was getting flooded at a fast rate. The river bank (ghat) was totally submerged underwater. However, it wasn't extremely dangerous as no one was affected. The local shops were moved due to rising levels of river water. Places like riverbanks must be avoided during this season. Overall the place is hygienic and beautiful. Good spot to enjoy wit family.Bathing ghat for locals Looks nice as this place is an important bathing ghat for local people. They purify themselves here with the cold river water in the winter. The New and Old bridge are also a good contrast. People are still walking across the river using the old bridge. Interesting experience. Not very much of the attraction as it's not meant for the tourists. Still it's worth visiting if you are interested in the local daily life here.

There is a parking system at this place. When we went here, there was a lot of water flowing. We made a stand in that water and looked around there and saw the worship programs there. It was a great pleasure. You should visit at least once.

Govt. tried to keep the place neat and clean but visitors needed more civic sense! Needed more waste bins and proper instruction signages. More eco-friendly practises needed to be promoted.

Peaceful, not crowded nature place.

I visited Sangram Sagar Lake yesterday and it was truly peaceful. The lake is quite big, and the cool breeze and calm surroundings make it a perfect spot to relax. What I loved most was the small waterfall that forms when the lake overflows it was beautiful to watch. There's also a temple right at the shore and a small fort visible on the other side of the lake, which gives the place a nice historical touch. Overall, it felt like a hidden gem away from the city noise.

It's an unforgettable experience being there. A lot of scenery and the joggers park by the side. Bajnamath Batuk Bhairav Temple view adds a serene feel. The passage is lush green and a lot of bird activities are always there. You can see the Madan Mahal Forte and Bawadi from this place which adds to the historical importance of this place .

Do not go from Danav Baba temple side. Go from Bajnamath Mandir side since there you would find a nice place to walk and sit. From Danav Baba temple side, which can be reached via Shakti Nagar, there is nothing apart from outskirt forest and a abandoned lane.This side is usually gathered by drunkards. Not a safe place to take family. Please take this into consideration. The lake is not so big as shown in maps. Just in rainy season the water level increases. Otherwise the water level is very low in other seasons.

Good place to visit even for the non Jains. Sunset time is notably worth visiting. It's a little hill post, but the stairs are very low rise, about 4-5" sizes, around 380 in number in all. No elevator, no palki.

As a person who belongs to the city I am amazed to see Bhawartal Garden after years..... A beautiful and well maintained park for all age groups. A great spot to spread some quality time with friends and family for picnic or to relax and stroll around for fitness. I visited this place before sunrise and captured some stunning shots. A great place for photographers and instagrammers. Loved the whole vibe. A place full of flower gardens, walking pathways, sculptures, skating ring, small ponds, sitting bench areas, exercising equipments, playground, etc.

It's a nice small water park. Entry fee is 450 for most except really young kids. We went on a Saturday and we were the first customers. The pool wasn't cleaned by then. Nevertheless they started the water system and slides. The wave pool is operational all the time. They announce before starting it and run it for only some time. The changing area had strong stench of phenyl and it could be improved a lot. Slides were fun and pool isn't too deep so kids will enjoy. The day we visited, restaurant wasn't open and canteen fire was also off. Despite all this, we enjoyed a lot and kids had a bunch of fun. However i was amazed to find a linga bhairavi yantra in the premises. If you go to this please don't forget to bow down to the yantr and recieve Devi's grace.

It was really a fun being there... Though the place is small with limited pool swings and adventures though u will have a pleasure experience being there. The water pool is full of sound and clear water, with proper inlets and outlets. Moreover only thing that i disliked is that price charge for enter, customes, cafeteria and lockers everythng is too much compared to the space and water swings drives....

The majestic and divine open-air statue 76 ft tall Shiva idol captivates you as soon as you enter the premises. There is a Cave Underneath which contains the replicas of the 12 Jyotirlinga. The temple premises is clean and very well-maintained, with open spaces and lots of greenery that adds to its peaceful surroundings. It is surrounded by gardens where one can relax. The temple generally sees a less or moderate crowd, but the real beauty and devotion is seen during Mahashivratri. Best time to visit is evening and Morning time and in winter afternoons. The entry to the temple complex is free of cost and only parking of 4 wheelers is paid.

This place is very calm and beautiful. The sunset here was very amazing. But I think this place should be more maintained and clean, I saw a bit of ignorance towards cleanliness. The water was green, and dirtier in corners.

'Hanumantal' is a very beautiful place and the view of sunset in the evening is amazing. Hanumantal lake is surrounded by temples and along with temples there are places of Muslim worship. There is also an old Jain temple here.

In rainy season like for now in the month of August it is not suggested to visit due to water logging .otherwise a good place for big events ,morning eveningbwalks ,lot of place for kids to play many exhibitions are organised like fairs and ojaswini .now indian coffee house branch is also opened here so one can have food also.

'Shaheed Smarak' also known as Gol Bazaar is where many cultural events are hosted. Huge playground, garden, auditorium and seminars are organized. I visited the "Amar Shaheed Memorial Fair", which is a carnival. Including amazing swings, games and food courts.

I have been visiting this place for many years. The added advantages is that a coffee House has also been opened there which is good.

This is one of the historical places in jabalpur. Also known as gol bazar. It's a huge ground . Exhibition, pradarshani, Tibetan winter clothes market are organized here annually. There auditorium and a cafe inside it. You can find kids playing cricket, people walking and exercising here daily

Good old styled auditorium. Acoustics are very good. Sound system contributed greatly to the overwhelming success of last evening's Marathi bhavgeet program. Located centrally, it's the only place in the city with abundant parking space.

Construction of this mall was never completed. The site has an under construction building,which is half collapsed. It is dangerous to be near the building.

This Paat Baba temple is very famous and sidd temple. It is situated in near GCF factory on the hillside. Very beautiful location and beautiful temple of Hanuman ji . There are some more temples outside of this temple premises,One is Durga temple one is Shiv temple . Inside the Paatbaba’s temple there are three statues of sriRam ,Sita mata and shree Krishan Bhagwan. Temple is open at 6 and closed at 1.30 pm and again it’s time to open at 4 OClock. This is a holy place and very famous temple. It is 3 kms from railway stations.

Quite and tranquil location on a hill. Visit this hill if you want some peace and quiet away from the bustling city life and traffic sounds. There is plenty of space to wander among lovely gardens. Even better, if you enjoy cycling, it's a terrific spot to explore on a bike. terrain of medium difficulty with an upward slope of about 37 degrees. On top of the slope, there is an adequate cycle lock stand. Ample parking space on weekdays.

It's a good place to spend time. Lots of clean and open space to roam around temples. There is proper arrangement for drinking water, shoe racks etc. One unusual thing about this temple is that there is a library. Visitors are the ones to be blamed for all the chaos beginning right from the parking area which is the largest one can find anywhere in India and it's free. Even then two and four wheelers are parked randomly. Shoes are to be seen scattered around the place.

Very poorly maintened property... Dirty washrooms... No soaps... Even though cleaning staff was working, it was still very poor... No soaps in the washrooms... Food court was very small with just 3 outlets... The food was fine... Overall, a poor experience....

The atmosphere is good. There are so many options for food . Many known brand s are there. Food court is a little costly and food is okay . And the gaming zone is not much attractive. Below down on ground floor there are shops too and there us also a grocery store .

Parking & Safety Concerns: One serious drawback of Samdariya Era is the lack of organized parking. During my visit, cars were parked haphazardly, including in the middle of the access road, completely blocking the approach to the theater. This creates a major safety hazard — in case of a fire or any other emergency, there would be no way for fire tenders or ambulances to reach the premises on time. For a venue that hosts large crowds, this is a dangerous oversight that needs urgent attention from both management and local authorities.

A very small airport with two aero bridges and two luggage belts. The airport is well kept, neat and clean though the men's washroom needs better upkeep. Ample parking is available but reaching the town from the airport is difficult if one does not have personal transport. It is recommended to arrange transport before arrival.

The airport is small and is located far from the city. Travelling from airport to Jabalpur city and back is a big problem and is a big task . Taxi mafia is rampant here and they will try to fleece your money at any cost. No Ola/ uber are available here at the airport. Only flights operated are by Indigo here. The check- in was easy as there is no crowd here. The airport has limited and basic facilities. There is no good cafeteria here.

Jabalpur airport is a bit far from the city and the facilities are limited. Limited flights fly from this airport. Passengers must ensure to pre-check the check-in luggage and safety lock tags to be done.. Hassle free security check, parking facility for vehicles, 20+ check-in counters.

No ola/Uber available. You will have to go by private cabs or can book cab services from here. You can reach here with Ola/Uber, but they might ask for double fare to drop you. So just be prepared to pay more for cab if you don’t have any vehicle arrangements. The airport is well maintained, but don’t have digi yatra services and no food stalls as of August 2025.

Jabalpur Airport is a small and clean airport with limited facilities. There are only one or two food and shopping options available. It’s easy to navigate but quite basic. The only drawback is that it’s located far from the railway station, which makes travel a bit inconvenient.

Old review: No extraordinarily gimmicky things- only thing it does - is to help you reach from source to destination with decent basic facilities. Helpful staff and breathing space as it’s mostly not too crowded like other airports in general. Also, you can’t get much to eat or drink here. A cutting tea is @160 for god knows what reasons. Another bad thing is you can’t get an ola or Uber from here but that’s not related to airport but the city infrastructure/ internal settlements of cab/auto guys. So beware of that.

Rani Durgavati is a very good place but it is still under construction. But the view of Jabalpur city from here will look very beautiful. You will see the whole city view. It is a little high up so you will have some difficulty climbing it. But when you leave it, you will be able to see its beauty and your heart will be very happy to see the whole city view.Its route goes through Balancing Rock which is further up and it is a very beautiful place and you can easily see the natural beauty there.

One should include Rani Durgawati Fort during his/her visit around Jabalpur or Bhedaghatt. Remember, it is a place not to visit when it is about to be sunset and one should be much careful if he is going with his girlfriend or female friend. Besides, take ample water as no source drinking water is available at the top.

JUST THE TRUTH. NOT worth it. What u c in the picture is what u get. U have to walk few steps that's tiresome. After reaching there before u start exploring it's already done. Time to go back home. If u go behind the fort u might get some mountain view. In The fort nothing to explore, it is always locked and it is just 2 storied building height.

A very beautiful place especially for the peoples who love nature and want to see historical structures. Rani Durgawati made this fort to watch her enemies from the top of the hills and you can see all the area of jabalpur from here. The ancient touch of the fort, well and horse stable is really good. You have to go upstairs and it is near about 15 minutes walk.

Good university but for official works- are delayed so long, no body pickups the phone even it causes difficulty to ex students and students outside jabalpur for some official work. 😔

It accommodates an Administrative Block, Art Faculty building, Teaching and Research buildings of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Bio-Science, System Science and Physical education departments. It has a Central Library, Computer Center, USIC, University Institute of Management, University Law Department and other facilities like one boys' and one girls' hostels, University Health Center, University Guest House, Canteen and residential quarters. Other facilities like post office, bank and printing press are on the campus. It is, therefore, possible to say that the university campus is a city within the city of Jabalpur. The UGC-Academic Staff College (Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Bhawan) is one of the best in the country. It has so far conducted 73 orientation programmes and 195 refresher courses. Over 7600 teachers have been benefited by these courses.

Shri Supteshwar Ganesh Ji Mandir is big temple of lord Ganesh in Jabalpur city.It is situated near Sarda Mata Temple, Jabalpur. This Temple is situated near Balancing Rock Jabalpur.

Mesmerising, it’s a swambhu Ganpati mandir, made on top of small mountain. It has a vibration.

The lord Ganesha carved on a single stone beautifully. Visit this place in the evening and spend the time peacefully there, the park is also situated near this temple.

I like going there whole temple feels grate, although entire temple is open, also downstairs from She Ganesh moorti a small park and some benches for relaxing there

A fantastic monument, but ASI has to work more effectively!! The location is very close to the city even though no tourist road signage available by the authority. The monument is in excellent condition , but the premise needed more care. Lack of hand rails made it a tough climbing experience for elderly visitors. Even the premise of "Balancing Rock" a the bottom of the hill maintained very poorly!

Not quite a great place, most of the fort is in ruins but, liked the nearby temple-shivling beneath two big rocks, painted blue, and the pond covered with red phytoplankton/algae . It's very close to Balancing Rock, and requires a climb of around 230 steps. From the top, you can see the Jabalpur city whole panorama.

Bhedaghat near Jabalpur is truly nature’s masterpiece the towering Marble Rocks on both sides of the Narmada River look breathtaking, especially during sunrise, sunset, or full moon nights. The Dhuandhar Falls add to the charm with their thunderous roar and misty spray. A boat ride here is the highlight rowboats glide quietly through the marble gorge, giving you time to soak in the beauty and hear local guides’ stories. The place is well-connected, just 30–40 mins from Jabalpur by taxi or bus.

Checked out Dhuandhar Waterfall in Jabalpur, and honestly, it’s one of those places that hits you with nature’s raw power. The roar of the water and the mist floating in the air make it feel like the whole place is alive. You’ll probably end up drenched and grinning — totally worth it. The view from the marble rocks is killer, especially if you catch the sunset. It can get a little crowded and could use some upkeep, but once you see that waterfall in full flow, you stop caring about everything else. Pure Jabalpur magic.

We had been to this water fall during our return journey towards Pune from Maha Kumbh mela. One of our friend knows about this location, so he suggested to take halt at Jabalpur in the night and then we visited this waterfall next day morning. The Dhuandhar falls is located on the Narmada River at Bhedaghat at 30 meters high and 30km away from the city. The Narmada River, making its way through the Marble rocks narrows down and then plunges into a waterfall. Viewing platforms have been constructed along the side to facilitate proper views. Interesting Facts about this waterfall: 1.The name of this waterfall is derived from two Hindi words "Dhuan" and "Dhar". Dhuan means smoke, the mist created by water falling on hard rock creates visuals of smoke emanating from the river bed and hence it is called Dhuandhar or Smoke Cascade. Dhar means falling down, the white water pummels down to form a gorge known as the Marble Rocks. 2. Beauty of this Water fall is the plunge, which creates a bouncing mass of mist, is so powerful that its roar can be heard from a far distance. another good thing is that we can see the beauty of water over Cable car which connected from East bank to West Bank of the Narmada River. Rope Car crosses the river and then drops tourists off at the west bank of the river. 3. Visitors can take boat ride on the river to visit nearby marble rocks. These rocks are a unique geological formation with a series of marble cliffs rising from the river. This waterfall is often referred to as the Niagara Falls of India because of the speed with which the water falls down. 4. This tourist site is most crowded during the Narmada Mahotsav where people from across the country visit the Jabalpur district to celebrate the festival grandly beside the Dhuandhar, under the full moonlight.

This time we visited at broad Daylight, but it is marvelous to observe around 100 feet high marble rockline while boating through Mata Narmada River from Bhedaghat at Jabalpur. Boating is amazing. They will ask you to pay more for going far once you reach the Bhoolbhulaiya point. If you want you can try, it has better rocks. Or else till Bhoolbhulaiya point also it is good. Many movie shootings have happened here. Try to take the motor boat as they can take you much deeper.
