Inspired by traditional Japanese landscaping,it features lush greenery, beautiful Pathways and small ponds, making it perfect for relaxing Walk and quiet moments. Free entry from morning 6 am to 8 am. Paid entry from 9 am to evening 6 pm. Entry fee is Rs. 10 per head. Parking space is available on Roadside. But nowadays you can see couples engaged in Deep romance at every corner of the Garden. Don't go there if you are single in search of Privacy. there is nothing for you.

Nothing "Japanese" or "Garden" about this place. Parking: 2 wheelers are parked at the front of the gate. 4 wheelers don't have a spot. The place is full over overgrown, and unkempt plants and trees. Walking on the tracks feels like walking through a thick foliage. Perhaps some would like it. Picnic area - all benches were occupied by couples. 10/- entry fee

This place must have been good many years back, but today it is a place flocked by "Love Birds"..you have couples in various intimate postures all over the place...and it is only general public which may get embarrassed!! There is nothing Japanese about it except probably the design.. Greenery is in plenty though..and Bamboo Clump/Clusters are all over which gives the place a distinct identity..with thick trees/foliage giving green cover all over... It is supposed to be a Japanese Rose Garden but of course Roses are not there always!!

Dropped by around 7:00 AM, and the cool breeze paired with dense shade made it perfect for a morning walk. Some parts felt a bit wild and slightly unkempt, but it actually gave the place a nice, natural vibe-almost like a mini trek. Saw people walking, doing stretches, and even playing badminton. Peaceful, green, and quietly alive.

Disappointing Experience at Japanese Garden, Seminary Hills, Nagpur I recently visited the Japanese Garden in Seminary Hills, Nagpur, hoping for a peaceful retreat amidst nature, but unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. Currently, the garden is undergoing renovation, and the entire area seems more like a construction site than a place for relaxation. Internal roads are cluttered with building materials iron rods, piles of cement, and other construction debris making it not just untidy but also hazardous for visitors. The once serene pathways are now lined with scattered garbage, further diminishing the garden’s charm. What’s even more disappointing is that despite the ongoing renovation, the authorities are still charging an entry fee. It feels unfair to pay for access when the place is clearly not in a condition to offer any meaningful experience. There’s little to explore, and the usual tranquil vibe of the Japanese-style landscaping is completely overshadowed by the chaos of construction work. In its current state, I would not recommend visiting the Japanese Garden. There are many better options in Nagpur for nature lovers and families, such as the Futala Lake, Ambazari Garden, or even a stroll through Seminary Hill’s forested trails. These spots offer a far more enjoyable and clean environment compared to the garden’s present condition. It would be more responsible for the authorities to temporarily close the garden during the renovation period, ensuring visitor safety and preserving its reputation. Until the work is completed and the garden is restored to its former beauty, it’s best to explore other, more well-maintained spots in the city. A disappointing visit overall, hopefully, the renovation brings positive changes, but for now, it’s not worth your time or money.

Garden is amazing but the guard and other society people's were the worst...me and my frnd went there at morning and guards behaviour towards us was literally disgusting ever....their rules are like couples are not allowed in this garden, jab garden h to offc it's govt property and each and every citizens are having rights to visit there no matter couples ho ya husband wife......lata mangeshkar ke naam pe itne ghtiya kisam ke soch rkhne wale log bhare pade hai waha.....

The place is under reconstruction. Please don't go to west your time. People are not allowed to enter. I had a bad day going to pass time there.

The Lake is fine in terms of Natural Beauty BUT attention of authorities are required for keeping the place clean out there. Natural Beauty is good but people throw the garbage alongside the beautiful lake. Moreover, there are Benches but not alongside the lake. Where there are Benches, lake views are restricted from there. Placement is an issue. More Surprisingly, Public Toilets are locked, so you don't have Basic facilities... It's a good place. It looks more beautiful in the evening due to all the lights. But I was not that lucky enough to witness the fountain show , as it was opened only on trial basis , but if you visit it at day or evening you'll will get to see beautiful sunset, I got late and rain also soiled my visit

I went during the afternoon and there was absolutely nothing to do. The place was deserted and the parking took quite a long time to find and it was full of cow dung. If you visit during the evening there is a light show but during the day it is empty.

Futala lake is very famous in nagpur but I don't think it is worth it place... Only couples are here and nothing more... View is also not much attractive... But so many food stalls are here where anyone can have some local and streat food... Fountain is not functioning all days... Fountain will work only special days just like 26 January and 15 August etc...

Main attractions are Tiger, leopard, bear and deer. Not much apart from these animals. Animals are held in old style cages/enclosure. Need massive redevelopment like mumbai's zoo. They also have a small aquarium inside the zoo. Lots of fun activities at the entrance. Not well maintained.

Just outside the entrance, you'll find a small "chaupati" or food court, which is a convenient place for a snack. A word of caution for those not from Maharashtra: the food here tends to be quite spicy, so be sure to ask for a milder version if you're not used to it. While the garden and additional attractions are fantastic, the animal enclosures themselves could use some improvement and a bit more space. The zoo is quite old, and it shows in some of the cages. Quite big size of expected of a zoo. Entry ticket is ₹40 for adults and ₹20 for children. The maintenance is just like is most of the zoos is other cities. Tigers, leopard, black bear are main attractions. Dear, Nilgais also shown. An aquarium is also present. At the entrance, there are several eating joints. There is children playing area also. Large grounds. Some animals are depicted in form of model e.g. Rhino. The iron wire nets are all around the animal enclosures. This hinders the view but protects animals from viewers. If you’re looking for a short, relaxed visit with kids—go ahead. But for wildlife lovers or those expecting a modern zoo experience, the upcoming Gorewada Safari Park might be more satisfying. Garden time is good...environment is nice...but Need more maintenance and caring towards garden and animals

As I have visited multiple cities and towns having good and clean lakes. This one hits differently. This lake has a raw feel to it. Locals come here in the morning and evening with family and friends. Nice place to come afar from City lights.

Relaxing place to walk around the embankment. However, there are no eateries. No sitting place either. Parking is paid. Halfway through is the access to the Metro station.

It is one of the most beautiful spots in Nagpur. Whenever there's rain, this place along with Futala becomes the first priority for the Nagpuri people. This place has a very eye catching view and the sunset looks so attractive from here. The place is free to visit. Some people also do swimming here but it's very risky as many people have lost their life here due to the very deep water level. So I recommend parents to keep their kids away from the lake. Just enjoy the view. The parking is free. You can part anywhere in the free space. It is one of the lovers spots as well. So you may find many couples here into the bushes sometimes during Summer or Winter. I have seen many times Police having inspection here as it was one of the most suspicious places once upon a time. But now it's a lot safer, still not recommended during dark as it may be fatal to your life.

Morning is the best time to see lake in its glory. You may also want to visit at night for the huge bats that get off from the trees. You can swim in the lake (at your own risk) and the garden nearby offers a good morning experience.

This is one place which will remain etched in my heart forever.The path leading up to this blessed lake is simply soothing. There is beautiful greenery all around. It's good that there isn't entry fee to the park, but that itself is the problem. People misuse stuff installed in the park. Good place to take your kids to play. My personal view is they should start entry fee and spend on park's maintenance. It'll make it more beautiful and a treat to visit.

As the fort is open to public on very restricted days, the crowds on 25-1-2025 were tremendous. There was more than half km long line. Inside also crowds everywhere. Cell where Gandhi ji was jailed, Tunnels, grounds all were full of visitors. People were in cheerful mood. Perhaps it is the lack of opportunity to visit, which is adding charm to this fort. Several Boards are displayed which tell about history of this place. Entry is free. But they were randomly checking Aadhar Card. THIS FORT TENTATIVELY OPENS ON:- 1. JAN 26 JAN (Republic Day) 2. Awesome experience. Army officials are so helpful. You can visit the fort only for 3 days in a year. 26th of January, 1st of May and 15th of August. You must carry your ID proof(nationality). You will get drinking water every places in the fort. Can't express my feelings. Must visit the place .

It’s been the number one water park in Nagpur owned by Haldiram Groups and well maintained, it also have space to organise party, marriages and big events. I had been here many time for water park and amusement park and I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent over here.

Spend your hold day 11am to 6pm ... There are slides.. And wave water pool... Rain dance boat.... All facility are available..like take shower n clean changing rooms... Then park side.. Lot of ??? Very good park. It's so green, serene and clean. It's very well maintained and there are lots of activities besides walking which we can do. There is a spacious green Gym or outdoor gym which has all fineness equipment and everyone can use it. There are many green lawns where one can sit, pray, meditate and do exercises like yoga, laughter club, singing, etc. There are lots of benches to sit on for elderly people. There is a long walking track with lots of sub tracks surrounding the park . Huge trees, green lawns, flowering plants, make this park very beautiful. There is also a reading area inside the park. For children, there is a special play area with anti-skid flooring. There are separate canopies for yoga and physical exercises. There are also clean restrooms for men and women and drinking water available for all. Outside there are stalls of delicious fruits, juice, coconut water, vegetables, and many other health products. A must visit park for all west Nagpur residents.

Nice place for an evening walk. Lots of slides and swings for kids. There's also an open gym. I see lots of old people having good time here. Overall the vibe is great. The statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is just awesome at the entrance.

One of my Favorite place to hang out with Self company & with friends. This is I can say the most refreshing place as there is a pleasant & silent environment in and around the park. The is open to all for free & there is wheel chair accessibility. Timings: Morning: 5 am - 10:30 am Evening: 4 pm - 8:30 pm Here peoples enjoy, celebrate birthdays & kitty parties & a best jogging track for fitness.

Since it remains open only in the mornings, it limits accessibility for those who might want to visit later in the day. It could benefit from better management, and perhaps allowing private operators to host events or functions could help in its maintenance and enhancement.

Heritage garden of Nagpur very near to Futala lake. Garden is having variety of plants. Good for morning walkers and family outing. It has fish museum inside garden however not aware about current status because of Covid restrictions. Garden is however not that maintened.Only open in the morning hrs from 6 AM to 9.30 AM. No entry fees, maintenance from outside view was seeming to be poor.Near to foutala lake opposite to Telankhedi Hanuman Mandir.

A unique historic, and probably relatively unknown garden situated very much within the city. Built about 200 years ago, it is unique in having a Mughal style garden, with long palm tress. And there's a small lake within the garden itself. Areawise too it's one the largest in Nagpur, and the garden itself is surrounded by forested area, secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. That's why it stands apart. There's no noise of the city and one can easily enjoy the chirping of birds and cool breeze in the morning. The lawns and walking tracks are well maintained. All in all its perfect for peaceful morning walks and exercise, but can also work just as a hangout place for the youth. Entry is free until 10 am after which there's as fee.

Best place to visit whenever you have free time and want some silence and greenery around you. The garden is about 200 years old but still in good condition . It would be the place to hangout with your loved ones or even with children. Even it has an ganit aquarium in the middle of garden. It has a series of fountain in the center of either walkways which enhance it's natural beauty.

Great place for kids to play, parents can have fun as well. Toys and ballon vendors also make your life easy if you have crying kid. Most importantly, Parking space is enough so you can park bikes and cars outside.

The pathways of the park are made like traffic signals and hence given the name.In dharam peth one of the finest park.You can spent 1 to 2 hrs here with your enthusiastic child. Good no of slides and stuff for children below 10 years of age. The best thing is where the children play the ground area is made with some spongy material so even if they fall, it will not hurt them. But due to covid condition for last two years, the park maintenance is not up to the mark. Fountains are disabled, some slides are not functioning properly. It has a restroom and outside the park a food zone is there where you can have snacks.

Good place to walk for all ages, specially kids enjoy there

First time going to this park it was the afternoon and although the gate was open, several people were shouting to me in Hindi, in which I am not fully fluent. After much confusion, and several workers gathering to scold me, I began to understand that the park is closed in the afternoons. This was very strange to me since in America public parks are open from sunrise to sunset. Here is an idea: when the park is closed, keep the gate shut. The second time I visited with my dog and was told (in Hindi) that no dogs are allowed. The man saying this pointed to two large billboards fully printed in Hindi. Apparently he was indicating that this "no dogs allowed" rule was stated on one of these boards. However, for anyone not fluent in Hindi, these notice boards are useless. Here is another idea: A picture of a dog 🐕‍🦺 inside of 🚫 would be much more helpful. Due to the severe lack of friendliness and disregard for foreigners I rate this park with just one star.

Karandla Tiger Safari Gate – A Thrilling Wildlife Experience Our visit to the Karandla Tiger Safari Gate was full of excitement and adventure! As part of the Umred Karandla Wildlife Sanctuary, this gate is well-maintained and the staff was helpful and informative. The safari experience was thrilling — we spotted deer, peacocks, and though we didn’t get lucky with a tiger sighting, the ride through the dense forest was unforgettable. The natural beauty and calmness of the area make it perfect for nature lovers and families. Make sure to book your safari in advance and go during early morning or late evening hours for the best chances to see wildlife. Highly recommended for a weekend escape into nature!

Waited in this area of #umredkarhandlawildlifesanctuary for the bigcat movement. Continuous alarm calls happened for almost 2 hours. Turned out there were tiger cubs in the bushes playing together. The grass was too big to spot them. Ended up seeing nothing. This is the beauty of a jungle; tiger that was hardly 50 to 100m away and yet was not visible. Umred Karhandla is a beautiful forest no doubt about it. But the major con is it is either a tiger (or leopard) or nothing! Today's sightings - 1. Momentary sighting of a leopard 🐆 2. Indian Bison Female (and a calf) 3. Sambhar deer (only one) 4. Spotted Deer (herd of 4) Couldn't capture any photos as the jungle was very dense and animals here were very shy. Will visit here again very soon!

Today we had morning safari here. The morning safari starts at 5.30 am. Weather was beautiful. The jungle was more beautiful. Nice place to visit every quarter for jungle lovers. Sighted the tigeress but since all 18 gypsies started running and due noice of all the visitors couldn't get the photos since she ran away in deep forest. All facilities are available at this gate which includes parking, was rooms, tea and breakfast points and lunch also. Loved this place...

Thanks to the forest department for fantastic arrangements even in the waiting area before the start of safari tours. This jungle is rich in flora & fauna with many herbivours & carnivores and avifauna

The jungle safari experience is kind of ok. This scantuary has less number of animals as compared to other nations parks. We went during rainy season so even sighting a deer was a difficult task. We didn't even see any peacocks or any other birds. Only thing we saw in safari was few monkeys and butterflies. Overall experience of green jungle was good.

The sanctuary is 189 sq km. It has 10-11 Tigers. And some bears. I visited this place on 14th February. I didn't get to see tiger. Only saw 2,3 deers. 2 peacock, 3 pigs, 1 owl, and neel cow. (bison in English I think). So, ultimately it was totally not amusing much. Its so dusty. You will find tons of brown dust all over you. You cannot escape that. You have to take bath as soon as possible. People did found a mother and 4 tigers of 3 months on 10th February. Also on 13th February they found 2 tigers near border. Don't know how true was that. Because I didn't get to see any animals inside the jungle in whole 4 hours of safari. No elephants here. And just monkey's. No rabbits. No dogs. No snakes.

This is a ground, even though called a park. The historical building is being renovated. On 26th January 2025, it was being used as parking lot for visitors to Sitabuldi fort.

It’s really good place with enough open , empty spaces for big events organisational point of view. It’s also very good place for morning, evening walk exercise and peaceful activities. It is central location nearby RBI, many events used to be organised there. It’s really one of best place to be a part of many activities and events.

We had visited this place after reading so many online reviews but trust me there is no such thing call musical fountain etc as mentioned. Yes it a good park and lots of playground for kid to enjoy, but if you are looking for musical fountains , lighting shows etc then you may get disappointed. There is no parking available so you have to park you car roadside only. No entrance fee for park. Overall it’s a average park.

Early morning visit to this place is very refreshing and calm. It is very peaceful!!
