Old construction, not hygiene, even toilet was not properly maintained. Escalator not working. In food section only one restaurant working where food is good but after taking meal we went for washing hands and water not available in basin. Hope management will look into the matter and maintained all of things.

Shri Ganesh Mandir Tekdi is a centuries-old temple located on a hilltop in Nagpur. The temple houses a colorful statue of Lord Ganesh and is believed to be the place where the idol was discovered during the construction of a railway line in 1875. It is said that Raja Raghuji Bhosle used to visit the idol, which was initially placed under a peepul tree, by riding up on a boat.
Shri Ganesh Mandir Tekdi is one of Nagpur’s most revered and iconic temples, attracting devotees from all side of India. Situated near Nagpur Railway Station, the temple’s location on a small hill (tekdi) adds to its spiritual charm and peaceful ambiance. The surroundings are neat and clean. I like how they protect the trees by not cutting them and building the structures around them. It is quiet spacious. The people here treat everyone as one of them, gives as prasad. The trees around keeps the area cool especially in the evening, while the sun's setting and with cool breeze and all.. It is quiet sutable place to spend some peacefull time with yourself or with your loved ones. Shri Ganesh Mandir Tekdi is a must-visit for those seeking spiritual solace and a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Nagpur.

Very nice and beautiful temple in nagpur. It is situated on the Station Road in Nagpur, Sri Ganesh Mandir Tekri is a Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The temple boasts of rich architecture; the idol of Ganesha can be seen seated under a tree inside the premises of the temple. Tekdi Ganesh Temple is said to be 250 years old. The shrine of Lord Ganesha is believed to be self-existent, and its size is increasing over a period. During the early years, Tekdi Ganapati Temple used to be an ordinary shrine with a tin shade and a small platform.

Title: A Sacred Hilltop Abode of Lord Ganesha – Shri Ganesh Mandir Tekdi, Nagpur’s Timeless Treasure Location: Perched atop Tekdi Hill (a prominent landmark in Nagpur), Shri Ganesh Mandir Tekdi is one of the city’s oldest and most revered temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Situated near Central Railway Station, this hillock shrine offers panoramic views of Nagpur and is a spiritual haven for devotees and history enthusiasts alike. First Impressions: The temple’s serene location, surrounded by lush greenery and rocky terrain, sets it apart from urban chaos. A short climb up the well-maintained steps leads to the temple complex, where the simplicity of its ancient architecture evokes a sense of timeless devotion. The white-painted structure, crowned with a traditional Maratha-style dome, blends seamlessly with the natural beauty of the hill. Spiritual Ambiance: The sanctum sanctorum enshrines a self-manifested (swayambhu) idol of Lord Ganesha, believed to be centuries old. The idol, adorned with fresh flowers and vibrant chandrika (vermilion), exudes divine grace. The atmosphere is charged with devotion, amplified by the rhythmic ringing of bells and collective chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya!” The morning and evening aartis are particularly soul-stirring, drawing crowds of locals and pilgrims. Unique Rituals & Offerings: Devotees perform abhishek with holy water, coconut, and flowers, seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings for success and obstacle removal. A special ritual involves offering modaks (sweet dumplings), Lord Ganesha’s favorite treat, which are later distributed as prasad. The temple also holds significance during Ganesh Chaturthi, though its tranquil vibe contrasts with the city’s grand public celebrations, offering a more intimate worship experience. Historical Significance: This temple is deeply intertwined with Nagpur’s history. It is said to have been a place of worship for the Bhonsle dynasty rulers and is among the oldest Ganesha temples in Maharashtra. The hill itself is believed to have geological and spiritual importance, adding layers of cultural heritage to the site. Facilities & Cleanliness: The temple premises are well-maintained, with clean pathways and designated areas for footwear. Drinking water facilities and shaded seating spots are available, though the climb might be challenging for elderly visitors. The small marketplace at the base of the hill sells flowers, coconuts, and souvenirs. Community & Hospitality: The priests (pujaris) are approachable and deeply knowledgeable about the temple’s history. Regular devotees often share fascinating anecdotes about the temple’s legacy, enhancing the visit. The temple’s role as a community anchor is evident during festivals, where locals volunteer enthusiastically. Surroundings & Accessibility: The temple’s hilltop location provides breathtaking views of Nagpur, especially during sunrise and sunset. Nearby attractions include the historic Sitabuldi Fort and bustling markets of Sadar. Auto-rickshaws and taxis can drop visitors at the base of the hill, but parking space is limited. The climb involves ~100 steps, so comfortable footwear is recommended. Festive Highlights: - Ganesh Chaturthi: Though low-key compared to public pandals, the temple is beautifully decorated with lights and flowers. Special bhajans and cultural programs are organized. - Nag Panchami: The hill’s natural setting adds charm to this festival, with rituals honoring serpent deities. Tips for Visitors: - Timings: 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM (extended during festivals). - Footwear: Remove shoes before climbing the final steps to the sanctum. - Photography: Respect signage; avoid photography inside the sanctum. - Best Time to Visit: Early morning for tranquility or sunset for scenic views. Final Thoughts: Shri Ganesh Mandir Tekdi is not just a temple—it’s a journey through Nagpur’s spiritual and historical roots. The combination of devotion, natural beauty, and ancient heritage makes it a must-visit.

Tekri Ganeshji Temple in Nagpur is one of the most peaceful and spiritually uplifting places to visit in the city. Located on a small hill (tekri), the temple offers a serene environment away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The climb up to the temple is not too difficult and gives you a feeling of calmness even before you reach the main sanctum. Devotees believe that Lord Ganesha here is very powerful, and many people visit to seek blessings before starting something new in their lives, whether it is an exam, a job, or any important venture. The temple architecture is simple yet divine, and the idol of Ganeshji radiates positivity. Early morning and evening aarti are truly soul-soothing and give a sense of inner peace. It is strongly believed by devotees that Ganeshji here resolves all problems and fulfills the wishes of his devotees, which is why people come again and again with complete faith. The surroundings are clean and well maintained, and the view from the top of the hill is refreshing, especially during sunrise or sunset. On special occasions like Ganesh Chaturthi, the temple becomes even more vibrant with devotional energy, and one can see large crowds gathering here. Visiting Tekri Ganeshji Temple is not just about offering prayers, but also about experiencing calmness, positivity, and spiritual connection. It is a must-visit place in Nagpur for devotees and even for those who just want a break from the busy city life.

Situated in Nagour, Maharashtra, Tekdi Ganapati Temple is an ancient and famous temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh. The temple is built on a hill hence the temple got the name Tekdi Ganesh Mandir. Initially, the temple was built on a small platform. The construction of the new temple started in 1978 and was completed in the year 1984. The temple started with just a tin shade around the idol which is believed to have appeared by itself (Swayambhu). The temple is also very popular as it's is believed to be a 'Jagruta Devasthan' (Awakened). Also, the idol was originally very small and it is believed to have grown in size with time.
S V — Google review
The temple is home to a "Swayambhu" idol of Lord Ganesha, which means it is believed to have appeared on its own from the ground. This unique origin story adds to its spiritual importance. Jagrut Devasthan: Many devotees consider the temple a "Jagrut Devasthan" (spiritually awakened shrine), where prayers are believed to be answered. This belief draws a large number of visitors seeking blessings and peace.

Actually it is first I visited when I entered in nagpur. Then I taken all family member to visit this ganesh temple. Sitting in front of shree ganesh made me feel calm and happy for no reason 😌. Today I visited this place again as I was going to pune by train azad hind express but it was late by almost 5 hrs and no other train available too so dropped the plan🥲 . Then directly gone to temple with mother enjoyed prasad ❤ and taken darshan of shree ganesh. Sitting there and enjoying atmosphere is always pleasure✨.

There are educated beggars inside the Mall just standing infront of Entry gate.... As soon as you entered inside the Mall they will catch you and force you for donation..... Saying Minumum 100/- to dedo sir..... Just irritating....
Chandragupta A — Google review
Eternity Mall offers a decent retail experience, though it falls short in key areas that impact overall visitor satisfaction. The food court lacks variety, with no outlets serving Indian cuisine. The available options are limited to pizzas, burgers, and similar fast food, which restricts choice for those seeking regional or wholesome meals. Additionally, the Movie Max theatre within the premises requires substantial improvement. The seating arrangement is poorly designed, with seat levels positioned too low, making the screen difficult to view comfortably. A few structural enhancements and a more diverse food offering would significantly elevate the overall experience.
Manodnya S — Google review
Small mall in the middle of the city. Not many shopping or eating options. No food court in the mall. Surprising that there was no place to sit in mall other the inside the stores or restaurants. The movie theatre isn't that great either. Very average movie experience due to the picture quality of the screen and sound quality.

Kasturchand Park, a spacious metropolitan park, is a highly sought-after site for various events like showcases and carnivals. Positioned approximately 1 kilometer away from Nagpur's central train station, this park is renowned for hosting gatherings in the city center. Regularly, numerous popular trade exhibitions are organized at this location.
Kasturchand Park was part of the land ceded to East India Company by the treaty of 1818. It was under the control of British army for many years. It had built few building on this ground as arsenal and had stored several tons of explosive gunpowder till late 19th century. In 1880 Nagpur Civil Station municipal committee was formed and the land was handed over to the civil authorities. Kasturchand Daga donated rupees twenty five thousand for construction of an open pavilion during the exhibition in the year 1905. Its central location makes it a key landmark, but the maintenance could be improved. The historical building is being renovated. On 26th January 2025, it was being used as parking lot for visitors to Sitabuldi fort.

Kasturchand Park is a prominent open ground in Nagpur. It is one of the largest parks in the city and serves as a venue for major events, exhibitions, political rallies, public gatherings and festivals. The park is located near the Nagpur Railway Station, making it easily accessible. It also has a historic bandstand built during the British era, adding to its heritage value.

It is a heritage structure once a place for public gatherings now almost lost to construction activities that have ruined its green lawns and seating areas. Just the monument stands in the middle.

Vidarbha Cricket Academy Ground, located in Nagpur, has a rich history of hosting legendary cricket matches. It is considered one of the largest stadiums in India in terms of field area. The ground has been the site for various types of matches including test series, T20, ODI series, and international cricket matches.
As cricket enthusiasts gear up for the first One Day International (ODI) between India and England on February 6, 2025, at Nagpur's Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium, attention turns to the pitch and weather conditions that could influence the game's outcome. And is stadium, is'vary good

The clean and modern facilities made the visit enjoyable, and it was evident that great care is taken to ensure a comfortable experience for spectators. The parking was well-organized, and the staff were polite and helpful, making the entire process smooth from entry to exit. I was also impressed by the high standard of the pitch, which adds to the appeal for both players and spectators alike. VCA JAMTHA STADIUM As the city expanded and the areas surrounding our stadium witnessed construction activities and as international matches were held regularly at the Civil lines stadium, parking of vehicles was a big issue. Also, there was felt an imminent need for a larger stadium having facilities of international standards. Thus in 2004 Mr. Shashank Manohar, the then President of our Association, taking a very bold & visionary approach decided to construct an international level stadium at Jamtha, 16 kms from our present Civil Lines stadium. Once again this proposal was met with skeptism, yet Mr. Manohar's decisiveness saw through the construction of the Jamtha stadium, now considered as one of the best international cricket venue and stadium. In 2008, Jamtha stadium hosted its first international Test Match between India and Australia. A FEW NOTABLE FEATURES OF THE JAMTHA STADIUM ARE: Total Capacity - 44904. Corporate Boxes - 39 boxes with sitting capacity of 15 each. Members Stand - with a capacity of 2715. State of art Press box - capacity of 187 with advanced technology and hi-tech facilities. Entry Gates: 13 numbers of gates for easy approach to 4 stands. East Stand - 6 bays with total capacity of 16347. West Stand - 5 bays with total capacity of 13608. North Stand - 3 bays with total capacity of 3777. South Stand - 8 bays with total capacity of 11172. TILL NOW JAMTHA STADIUM HAS HOSTED: 6 Test Matches 12 T20I 3 IPL 4 Women's ODI 2 Woman's T20I

The Japanese Rose Garden, located in the Civil Lines area of Nagpur, is a serene and picturesque floral oasis. The garden features a variety of vibrant roses and lush green shrubs arranged in the traditional Japanese style. It's a popular spot for leisurely activities such as walking, jogging, and yoga. Couples are drawn to this romantic setting with its panoramic views and refreshing breeze.
Visiting the Japanese Garden in Nagpur felt like a refreshing escape from the city hustle. The garden is lush and full of greenery, with winding walking tracks amidst tall trees that make it feel almost like a mini forest in the heart of town. I enjoyed a peaceful stroll here; the area is so well maintained and tranquil that it’s easy to forget you’re still in Nagpur. What stood out most was the trekking like experience. The uphill paths, especially around Seminary Hills, offer a light, enjoyable challenge for anyone who loves nature walks. Walking here felt invigorating like a blend of garden walk and soft trekking, perfect for fitness lovers or those simply wanting to immerse themselves in nature. If you visit after the rains, the greenery is even more vibrant, making it ideal for an early morning or evening walk. It’s a spot I’d recommend for anyone looking to unwind, take photos, or simply spend some quiet, active time outdoors...

Free entry from morning 6 am to 8 am. Paid entry from 9 am to evening 6 pm. Entry fee is Rs. 10 per head. Parking space is available on Roadside. But nowadays you can see couples engaged in Deep romance at every corner of the Garden. Don't go there if you are single in search of Privacy. there is nothing for you.

Nothing "Japanese" or "Garden" about this place. Parking: 2 wheelers are parked at the front of the gate. 4 wheelers don't have a spot. The place is full over overgrown, and unkempt plants and trees. Walking on the tracks feels like walking through a thick foliage. Perhaps some would like it. Picnic area - all benches were occupied by couples. 10/- entry fee

This place must have been good many years back, but today it is a place flocked by "Love Birds"..you have couples in various intimate postures all over the place...and it is only general public which may get embarrassed!! There is nothing Japanese about it except probably the design.. Greenery is in plenty though..and Bamboo Clump/Clusters are all over which gives the place a distinct identity..with thick trees/foliage giving green cover all over... It is supposed to be a Japanese Rose Garden but of course Roses are not there always!!
Prashant B — Google review
Dropped by around 7:00 AM, and the cool breeze paired with dense shade made it perfect for a morning walk. Some parts felt a bit wild and slightly unkempt, but it actually gave the place a nice, natural vibe-almost like a mini trek. Saw people walking, doing stretches, and even playing badminton. Peaceful, green, and quietly alive.
Falguni G — Google review
Disappointing Experience at Japanese Garden, Seminary Hills, Nagpur I recently visited the Japanese Garden in Seminary Hills, Nagpur, hoping for a peaceful retreat amidst nature, but unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. Currently, the garden is undergoing renovation, and the entire area seems more like a construction site than a place for relaxation. Internal roads are cluttered with building materials iron rods, piles of cement, and other construction debris making it not just untidy but also hazardous for visitors. The once serene pathways are now lined with scattered garbage, further diminishing the garden’s charm. What’s even more disappointing is that despite the ongoing renovation, the authorities are still charging an entry fee. It feels unfair to pay for access when the place is clearly not in a condition to offer any meaningful experience. There’s little to explore, and the usual tranquil vibe of the Japanese-style landscaping is completely overshadowed by the chaos of construction work. In its current state, I would not recommend visiting the Japanese Garden. There are many better options in Nagpur for nature lovers and families, such as the Futala Lake, Ambazari Garden, or even a stroll through Seminary Hill’s forested trails. These spots offer a far more enjoyable and clean environment compared to the garden’s present condition. It would be more responsible for the authorities to temporarily close the garden during the renovation period, ensuring visitor safety and preserving its reputation. Until the work is completed and the garden is restored to its former beauty, it’s best to explore other, more well-maintained spots in the city. A disappointing visit overall, hopefully, the renovation brings positive changes, but for now, it’s not worth your time or money.

The ambiance is equally captivating, featuring unique decor elements like intriguing number plates, a grand piano, and artistic wall hangings that create an inviting atmosphere.
The food is great... Variety and taste both are good. They put too much salt in 1 dish, but after advising about the same they took care of it in other dishes. We also got welcome drink as a complimentary benefit... I would definitely recommend visiting them with friends and family. Amazing ambience and decoration. Bar was not open then, but they said it will inaugurate soon...

A restaurant which boasts a wonderful ambience, a lovely interior which includes some interesting number plates, a piano and some other wall hangings. We started off with sweet corn soup, which was a disappointment, as it was too sweet. Murg Mutabbak was delicious, chicken coated with cheese. Corn and cheese cigar rolls was also great. Zafrani dum ka Murg was really tasty and the gravy is well prepared. Daal e eish was also good. Overall the food is great, but the service is a bit poor, really slow and even the staff do not know much about the menu too. Pricing wise thus place is really moderate and it would be a good experience to visit this place.

This is a beautiful beautiful restaurant. The ambiance is surreal, the staff is warm and welcoming. The items on the menu have weird names but they taste amazing. Don't order too much because the portions they serve is huge. A little costly, but if you are lucky an artist would play the Piano and make every penny you spend worth it.

Restaurant
Krishnum Food Plaza is a popular eatery with multiple outlets in Nagpur, known for its South Indian cuisine. While they also offer Chinese dishes, their specialty lies in serving authentic South Indian delights. The restaurant is well-liked by locals and offers a diverse menu including thalis, masala dosa, vada sambar, chole bhature, and Kerala appam dosa. It's a vegetarian establishment with prompt service and a cake-sweet shop attached to the dining area.
I recently visited Krishnum, and I must say it’s one of the best South Indian restaurants I’ve tried in a while! The dosas were perfectly crisp, the sambar was flavorful with the right balance of spices, and the coconut chutney tasted authentic although not so fresh. I especially loved their dahi vade. The ambiance was cozy, service was quick, and the staff was polite. It's usually busy during the mornings. Although loved the vibe of the place. If you love authentic South Indian flavors, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended, especially for idli lovers and those craving Masala Dosa!

The thali failed to meet expectations, neither justifying its price nor delivering on taste. Could have been much better However south indian food is good

Taste is very good . Especially the pav bhaji and hakka noodles. Quantity is also good but even rates While ordering be careful because there billing system won't cancel order once it's entered but after few request they manage that order with some other order . While taking parcel be-careful because I found cockroach in my parceled pavbhaji

Very disappointed with this restaurant. The food quality was terrible, some items were even undercooked. The packaging was the worst I’ve ever seen. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If this happens again, I will definitely file a complaint with the food safety department.

Have been purchasing dosa batter from this restaurant for long. But didn't try the actual foods ever, which I did for the first time yesterday. Dosas are very rich and oily. Taste wise they're okay. Also you get a lot of varieties in South Indian dishes from various corners of South India. But such rich and oily food are not sustainable for long. Additionally you get some North Indian options and beverages as well. Overall, an okay okay kind of restaurant.
Srinjoy G — Google review
Only some items are tasty, and the curries felt too salty. The staff was polite but made me wait a long time between starters and the main course. This could have been avoided if they would just serve what I asked for instead of asking me twice to switch between different rotis, which ended up taking time because their tandoor was off 🙂.

Krishnam used to be our go-to spot, but post-renovation, everything's gone downhill. Food quality has dropped, prices are higher, and the new manager (an older man) is extremely rude. The staff struggles with rush hours. Disappointed with the change.

For day 2, we recommend exploring the west side side of town. Start the day off with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Krazy Castle Aqua Park. All together, your day would be filled with about 6 hours of non-stop fun.

Airport
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India is the state's second busiest airport after Mumbai. Named after Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, it offers domestic and international flights and is well-equipped with facilities such as ticket counters for various airlines, clean restrooms, seating areas, charging points, waiting lounges, and snack corners.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur is clean, well-managed and provides smooth services. Staff is helpful and the overall travel experience is good. However, a separate dining area is required for better comfort and convenience. Thank You. Would you like me to make this a bit more formal and polite (suitable for Google Review)?

Nagpur Airport may be small compared to major metros, but it offers a smooth and hassle-free experience. The airport is clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. Basic facilities like comfortable seating, food stalls, and clean restrooms are available. Security checks are efficient, and the staff is polite. However, more dining and shopping options could enhance the overall experience. Overall, a neat and well-managed airport for domestic travelers.

3.5/5 Stars - A Smooth and Hassle-Free Experience at Nagpur Airport! I recently passed through Nagpur Airport, and despite its smaller size compared to major metros, I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth and hassle-free experience it offered. The airport is remarkably clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate, making it a breeze to get through. The basic facilities are well-taken care of, with comfortable seating areas, decent food stalls, and clean restrooms. The security checks were efficient, and the staff was polite and courteous. However, I felt that the airport could benefit from more dining and shopping options to enhance the overall experience. A few more choices would make the airport more appealing to travelers. Overall, Nagpur Airport is a neat and well-managed airport that's perfect for domestic travelers. While it may not have all the frills of a larger airport, it gets the job done efficiently. *Pros:* - Clean and well-maintained airport - Efficient security checks - Polite staff - Comfortable seating and basic facilities *Cons:* - Limited dining and shopping options
Naveen L — Google review
Airport is a well-maintained and traveler-friendly airport. It offers direct metro connectivity, making it easy to reach from different parts of the city. The availability of DigiYatra ensures smooth and hassle-free check-ins. Unlike many busy airports, it usually does not have much crowd, which makes the experience more relaxed. The staff is helpful and courteous, and there is also a nice park outside the gate where visitors can spend some time comfortably
Niranjan G — Google review
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport (NAG) in Nagpur offers a generally smooth and efficient travel experience, particularly for a Tier-2 city airport. While it may not boast the extensive amenities of larger metro airports, it compensates with its relatively compact size, ease of navigation, and a focus on essential services. The airport is undergoing development as part of the MIHAN project, with ambitions to become a significant cargo and passenger hub in central India. Positives: * Connectivity and Location: Strategically located at the geographical center of India, Nagpur Airport is well-connected by road and metro to the city center (approximately 8 km away). It serves as a vital link, connecting Nagpur to 14 domestic destinations and international cities like Sharjah and Doha. The airport's central location makes it a potential transit point for travelers. * Efficiency and Smooth Operations: Many travelers commend the airport for its quick check-in and security processes, contributing to a hassle-free experience. The staff is often described as polite and cooperative. * Cleanliness and Maintenance: The airport is generally reported to be clean and well-maintained, including most public areas and seating spaces. * Basic Amenities: Essential facilities such as comfortable seating, food stalls (though limited in variety), clean restrooms (with some exceptions), free newspapers, and free water dispensers are available. There are also ATMs, currency exchange, and medical services. * Lounges: Travel Club Lounges are available in both domestic and international departure areas, offering a space to relax with refreshments and Wi-Fi. * Parking: Ample parking space is available for private vehicles and taxis. Areas for Improvement: * Washroom Consistency: While some reviews praise clean washrooms, others highlight issues with cleanliness and foul smells, suggesting inconsistency in maintenance. This is a crucial area that needs consistent attention. * Food and Retail Options: The selection of food and retail outlets is generally considered limited and compact. There's a clear need for more diverse and perhaps 24/7 food options, especially for late-night flights. * Wi-Fi Reliability: While free Wi-Fi is advertised, some older reviews mention issues with its availability or the need for Indian phone numbers for access. Ensuring robust and easily accessible Wi-Fi for all passengers, including international travelers, is important. * Security Check Speed: While generally efficient, some feedback indicates that security checks can be slow compared to other airports. * Ambience and Modernization: The interiors, while functional, have been described as looking somewhat dated ("90s looking"). Modernization and aesthetic upgrades could enhance the overall passenger experience. * Congestion during Peak Times: During peak festivals or busy periods, the airport can become crowded, leading to a less comfortable experience. * Cargo Operations: Despite the MIHAN project's focus on cargo, the airport has faced challenges and a decline in cargo volumes, indicating a need for improved infrastructure and operational efficiency in this sector. * Airline Presence and Fares: The airport currently has a limited number of airlines, and elevated airfares have been noted as a challenge, potentially impacting passenger numbers. Future Outlook: With the ongoing MIHAN project, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport is poised for significant expansion and development. This includes plans for runway expansion, a new terminal building, and enhanced road and rail connectivity. If these projects materialize as planned, Nagpur Airport has the potential to transform into a more robust and passenger-friendly aviation hub in central India. In Conclusion: Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport serves its purpose as a regional airport effectively, offering a generally smooth and convenient travel experience.

This is a small airport. Though it has eight gates, the airport building is small with basic infrastructure. Digiyatra is available here but there are issues with it and most has to present physical IDs. The lounge is before security check. It is bigger in comparison of the airport. There are limited menu options but staff is cooperative.

Sai Baba of Shirdi Sai Baba, an Indian religious figure who lived from the mid-19th Century to 1918. He was considered a Guru and holy man to both Hindus and Muslims. Sai Baba of Shirdi taught that all religions led to the same goal, and sought to show the underlying unity between the Muslim and Hindu faiths. One of his most famous sayings was “God is the Owner of us All” His life His early life has few reliable sources. It is suggested he was brought up in the village of Pathri, by a fakir and his wife. A disciple of Sai Baba of Shirdi, Das Ganu, said he was later looked after by Venkusha. When Said Baba was sixteen years old he first arrived in the village of Shirdi in Maharsahstra. He lived a very ascetic life, spending many hours in prayer and meditation. Some called him a saint, others were less impressed by this ascetic. He stayed in a Khabdoba temple, and later a dilapidated mosque. Without any preaching or attempt to attract followers, people were drawn to his presence, and he began to attract followers from both the Hindu and Muslim faith. As well as teaching spirituality and tolerance of religions, he was also known for his ability to create miracles, such as materialising objects out of thin air. As his life progressed, increasingly big crowds were attracted to wherever he went. Sai lived in Shirdi all his life and was buried in the Buty Wada, also known as Samadhi Mandir. His religion, philosophy and practices Sai left no written records, but a strong oral legacy of teachings and parables. This sayings and teaching have been written down by his disciples. One of his favourite teachings was the omnipresence of God – “Why do you fear, when I am always here. He has no beginning and no end.” Sai could be a strict spiritual teacher, getting angry with his disciples to shake their egoistic views Sai Baba made eleven assurances to his devotees: 1. Whosoever puts their feet on Shirdi soil, their sufferings will come to an end. 2. The wretched and miserable will rise to joy and happiness as soon as they climb the steps of the mosque. 3. I shall be ever active and vigorous even after leaving this earthly body. 4. My tomb shall bless and speak to the needs of my devotees. 5. I shall be active and vigorous even from my tomb. 6. My mortal remains will speak from my tomb. 7. I am ever living to help and guide all who come to me, who surrender to me and who seek refuge in me. 8. If you look to me, I look to you. 9. If you cast your burden on me, I shall surely bear it. 10. If you seek my advice and help, it shall be given to you at once. 11. There shall be no want in the house of my devotee. His eleven famous sayings are: 1. No harm shall befall him who sets his foot on the soil of Shirdi. 2. He who cometh to My Samadhi, his sorrow and suffering shall cease. 3. Though I be no more in flesh and blood, I shall ever protect My devotees. 4. Trust in Me and your prayer shall be answered. 5. Know that My Spirit is immortal. Know this for yourself. 6. Show unto Me he who sought refuge and been turned away. 7. In whatever faith men worship Me, even so do I render to them. 8. Not in vain is My Promise that I shall ever lighten your burden. 9. Knock, and the door shall open. Ask and ye shall be granted. 10. To him who surrenders unto Me totally I shall be ever indebted. 11. Blessed is he who has become one with Me. An important aspect of Sai Baba’s teachings was the distribution of sacred udhi (ash) to his followers. This has symbolic meaning and some disciples claimed miracles from this sacred ash. He also asked visitors for money, which he would distribute to others later in the day. This was to improve the karma of his disciples. The Shri Sai Satcharita, by Govindrao Raghunath Dabholkar, gives a devotional account of Sai Baba’s life. His legacy Sai Baba is among the most popular of Indian saints, and has a large following throughout India, his image is one of most popular religions icons of India. His samadhi is a well-known place of pilgrimage.

Buddhist temple
Historical landmark
Deekshabhoomi, a grand Buddhist stupa inaugurated in 2001, holds immense significance for Ambedkarite Buddhists and history enthusiasts. It marks the location where Dr. B.R. Ambedkar led around 400,000 followers in embracing Buddhism in 1956, signifying a historic shift towards social equality. The architecture is truly impressive and visiting offers a peaceful escape from city life, with ample space for meditation and reflection.
Deekshabhoomi is an incredibly significant and sacred site for followers of Ambedkarite Buddhism and history enthusiasts alike. This is the very place where Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a visionary leader and the architect of the Indian Constitution, embraced Buddhism along with around 400,000 of his followers on October 14, 1956. The event marked a pivotal moment in Indian history, symbolizing a mass movement towards social equality and justice. The architecture of Deekshabhoomi is truly awe-inspiring. The large dome-shaped stupa, designed by Sheo Dan Mal, is not only a symbol of peace and enlightenment but also the largest hollow stupa in the world. It is a masterpiece of architectural design, looking majestic both from the outside and inside. The surrounding premises are peaceful and well-maintained, with the famous Bodhi tree adding to the spiritual ambiance of the place. Visiting Deekshabhoomi is a humbling and enriching experience. It provides a deep insight into the life and philosophy of Dr. Ambedkar, his struggles for equality, and his embrace of Buddhism as a path to liberation from social oppression. The place offers a fantastic blend of history, culture, and spirituality. It is especially beautiful during Dussehra, when thousands of devotees gather to commemorate the conversion anniversary, creating an atmosphere of unity and devotion. In terms of facilities, Deekshabhoomi is well-equipped for tourists, with basic amenities like drinking water, clean toilets, and parking. The site attracts visitors from all over the world, including many from Buddhist countries like Japan and Thailand, making it a vibrant and diverse place. Overall, Deekshabhoomi is not just a tourist destination; it is a place of pilgrimage, reflection, and education, making it a must-visit for anyone traveling to Nagpur. Jai Bhim!

I visited Deeksha Bhoomi in Nagpur, and it’s definitely a place that holds great historical and cultural importance. The site is known for being where Dr. B. R. Ambedkar embraced Buddhism, and inside, you can see a detailed journey of his life, from his early days to his social work and final years. There’s a large stupa with two statues of Lord Buddha, and a statue of Emperor Ashoka nearby. Outside, the 22 vows that were used during the conversion from Hinduism to Buddhism are displayed, along with the Preamble of the Indian Constitution (in its updated version). The area is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, with ample parking and space for large gatherings. Whether or not you follow the ideology, the place offers an insightful look into an important part of India’s history and reform movements.

Zoo
Maharaj Bagh Zoo, originally built by the Bhonsle monarchs, has been transformed into a nature preserve and zoo. It features endangered plant species and wildlife, making it a favorite among nature enthusiasts. The zoo houses various animals like lions, leopards, tigers, alligators, and peacocks. Additionally, the well-maintained botanical garden with a diverse collection of plants adds to the attraction of this century-old zoo.
Slightly smaller but great to see multiple animals. All animals are in a healthy condition and taken care of well. Safety is also good.

Main attractions are Tiger, leopard, bear and deer. Not much apart from these animals. Animals are held in old style cages/enclosure. Need massive redevelopment like mumbai's zoo. They also have a small aquarium inside the zoo. Lots of fun activities at the entrance. Not well maintained.
Shivaram T — Google review
Maharaj Bagh Zoo, located in Gorepeth, Nagpur, is a delightful spot for a day out, especially for families and nature lovers. This small but well-maintained zoo offers a good variety of animals including leopards, bears, tigers, peacocks, parrots, deer, and the rare blue bull. It’s fascinating to observe these animals up close, making it a great place for children and wildlife enthusiasts. One of the highlights is the separate aquarium, which houses an array of beautiful and vibrant fish species. It's a peaceful and educational experience to wander through, adding to the diversity of the zoo’s attractions. There are also recreational areas inside the zoo, such as see-saws, rope slides, and slides, perfect for kids to enjoy. These play areas are thoughtfully placed and add a fun element to the visit. Outside the entrance, you’ll find food stalls where you can grab a quick snack or refreshment, which is convenient after exploring the zoo. The Cannon Ball tree outside the entrance is a unique attraction and definitely worth a look. It’s quite rare, and its unusual flowers and fruits are an interesting sight. Overall, Maharaj Bagh Zoo is a nice place for a short, enjoyable visit in Nagpur. It's well-suited for families, and the calm environment and decent facilities make it a pleasant experience. Rating: 4/5
Sourav B — Google review
Maharajbagh Zoo is a lovely little spot, especially if you're looking for a peaceful break in the city. The botanical garden is a major highlight—it's very well-maintained with beautiful, shaded walking paths that make for a pleasant stroll. I enjoyed seeing the variety of animals, including leopards, tigers, monkeys, bears, deer, mongooses, and peacocks. The different species of parrots were a fun sight, and the small aquarium with different types of fish and turtles was a nice addition. What makes the visit even more enjoyable are the fun activities available. There's a children's play area with slides and other things to keep the kids entertained, as well as a toy train that's a hit with young visitors. Just outside the entrance, you'll find a small "chaupati" or food court, which is a convenient place for a snack. A word of caution for those not from Maharashtra: the food here tends to be quite spicy, so be sure to ask for a milder version if you're not used to it. While the garden and additional attractions are fantastic, the animal enclosures themselves could use some improvement and a bit more space. The zoo is quite old, and it shows in some of the cages. It's a great place for kids to see a variety of animals up close, and the nominal entry fee makes it very accessible. Overall, it's a perfect place for a quick visit, a family outing, or a serene walk through the gardens. It's not a large, modern zoo, but it has a nostalgic charm and offers a nice escape.
Priyank N — Google review
Quite big size of expected of a zoo. Entry ticket is ₹40 for adults and ₹20 for children. The maintenance is just like is most of the zoos is other cities. Tigers, leopard, black bear are main attractions. Dear, Nilgais also shown. An aquarium is also present. At the entrance, there are several eating joints. There is children playing area also. Large grounds. Some animals are depicted in form of model e.g. Rhino. The iron wire nets are all around the animal enclosures. This hinders the view but protects animals from viewers. Good place for Children.
Alok — Google review
Maharaj Bagh is a place that holds a special charm and history in Nagpur. It’s still a nice spot to visit, especially for those who enjoy a peaceful environment in the middle of the city. However, it no longer has the same vibe and liveliness it once did. Earlier, the atmosphere and attractions made it feel unique, but over time, some of that essence has faded. Still, it remains an important landmark and a place worth visiting at least once.
Mogra S — Google review
The Greens: The garden is lovely—well-maintained greenery, clean walking paths, and plenty of shade. Perfect for a calm afternoon. Animal Section: You’ll find tigers, sloth bears, monkeys, deer, birds, and a small aquarium. But enclosures feel dated and some exhibits were closed during my visit. Facilities: No cafeteria or dedicated restpoints. Needs more washrooms and shaded benches. Some signboards were damaged or absent. Best For: Local families with young children or a quick weekend stroll. Not ideal for wildlife enthusiasts or those seeking a safari-style zoo experience. Improvements Needed: Modernize habitats, improve hygiene, add visitor facilities, expand animal variety. The proposed redevelopment promises this, but it's still pending. While Maharajbagh Zoo serves as a nostalgic green spot in Nagpur and a budget-friendly family outing destination, it falls short in terms of animal welfare and infrastructure. If you’re looking for a short, relaxed visit with kids—go ahead. But for wildlife lovers or those expecting a modern zoo experience, the upcoming Gorewada Safari Park might be more satisfying. Let me know if you’d like a condensed version or something tailored for Google Maps or social media!

Krazy Castle Aqua Park is a popular destination in Nagpur, designed like a medieval castle and offering a range of water slides, rides, and kid-friendly games. It attracts both locals and out-of-town tourists, especially during the hot summer months. The park frequently introduces appealing packages for groups, as well as exclusive offers for corporate groups, schools, and colleges.
Located in the heart of Nagpur. Many amenities are there. Because of road construction and metro's construction it was closed for many days. Marriages, receptions and birthdays also takes place. Prices are hiked from several years. Even Swami Vivekananda' s memorial and Ambazari Lake is in proximity. You can check them either. Overall this place makes family time more great, enjoyable and memorable.

The landscaped water park, west of Gaza City,[7] featured 3 swimming pools, a canal 100 meters long, three water slides, ponds with pedalos, a restaurant, a cafe, and a quiet area shaded by a tent where adults could sit on carpets and listen to music.[2][3][5] The atmosphere was secular, with popular secular tunes playing over the loudspeakers and women in international-style clothing.[5] A lifting of the government ban on women smoking in public made it legal for women to smoke the popular nargilas at the Park's cafe.[8] The park was built with materials assembled from war-torn buildings as well as materials brought through the Gaza Strip smuggling tunnels.[2] Construction was completed in six months.[2] Admission was 10 shekels, the equivalent of about $2.60 as of mid-2010, but using the water slide costs another 5 shekels, and going into the pool costs an extra 20 shekels.[2] The park cost $2 million to build.[5] According to Ayman Barawi, the Park's financial manager, "This park is a form of escape. People need a chance to escape from the stress. We brought 'air' to the people.

For all the heath conscious people out there, this is the place you must give a try. Good place with decent ambience. The food is good and they will help out with the protein content as well. We had Lemon Chicken Salad. It was full of chicken and veggies with apple in it. The pricing are decent as well. As these healthy salads and other items are not available everywhere, its on a costlier side.

Vishnuji Ki Rasoi is a delightful family restaurant nestled in Bajaj Nagar, Nagpur, that offers a unique DIY grilling experience alongside an extensive buffet featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The charming village-themed ambiance transports diners to a rustic setting reminiscent of rural life, making it an ideal spot for large gatherings or intimate dinners.
Vishnuji Ki Rasoi in Nagpur is a delightful homage to authentic Maharashtrian cuisine, offering a vegetarian thali experience that is both traditional and indulgent. Owned by the celebrated chef Vishnu Manohar, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving the rich flavors of Maharashtra. The thali here is a feast for the senses, featuring classics like Zunka Bhakar, Puran Poli, Kadhi, and Varhadi-style dishes. But trust me, the food is worth it. The freshly made Bhakari, served straight from the stove, and the unlimited servings of thali items make the experience truly special. If you’re in Nagpur and looking for an authentic Maharashtrian meal, Vishnuji Ki Rasoi is the place to be!

An authentic dining experience of Maharashtrian cuisine, everything from thecha to bhakri and pithla and all kinds of achaar, they offer a different menu everyday. The vibe is old school and the decor is minimal. It's an open buffet dining and both lunch and dinner are served. Belongs to celebrity chef Vishnu ji who holds the world record for 24 hour non stop dosa making.

Right out of the youthful mainstream, I visited this place for a Maharashtrian food party. It began with starters—soups and crispy sabudana vada—followed by authentic delicacies like kredis, bajra rotis, kheecha, and more. The experience was truly worth it! Though I felt ₹500 was a bit on the higher side, the warm atmosphere, excellent service, and kind people made it all worthwhile

This restaurant serves Maharashtrian thali and best part is that it is buffet style. Offers a soft drink and a starter in the beginning. You can begin your main course with green and red thecha, pickle, salad, singdana powder, etc. Then move to vegetables, rice, dal, kadhi, zunka, bhaker, all very hot, fresh and tasty. We had pakora as starter. Then alu gobi rasawali sabji, mutter misal, jowari roti, rice, dal, zunka, kadhi, and also puran poli. They make fulka roti and jowari roti live in front of you. After the khana is over, you can make your paan Sopari yourself. If you are like Maharashtrian food, then you will love this place. A must visit place for veg food in Nagpur..

Authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. You have to take a token first, and then it’s a self-service buffet system. The food tasted good, but what disappointed us was the slow service, as most of the dishes were served too late. They could have at least arranged better cooling for customers, as it was too hot inside the restaurant. Puran Poli is a must try

Third class restaurant in middle nagpur, it's a scam going on in ₹470 per head, for adults and child both. It's showing multiple foods and sweets item in menu board at time of payment, but when you enter 50% menu vanish. No sweets no starters no desert provided by them. And when you ask questions for that, there is a foolish answer given by them. So please don't waste your money 💰 and don't waste your precious time there. Only scam 😭😭😭 first experience worst experience.

We ordered paneer peshawari online from Swiggy to have food at home while celebrating but while eating we found that there is a full dead insect in it. This raises the concern as hygiene... Is this the level of hygiene being maintained by restaurant? It completely spoiled our appetite and celebration mood.

One of the best North Indian buffet restaurants in Nagpur. The food tasted really good. They start with a welcome drink, followed by starters and then the main course. The highlight of the buffet is their out of this world desserts. A must-try! Restaurant is little expensive according to me.

The hotel is branded and quite expensive. The quality of food was good—Palak Paneer tasted nice, the garlic naan was soft and buttery, and we also had Angoori Rasgulla which was excellent. However, they didn’t have the option for half rice, so we had to order a full plate. Also, serving a ₹60 water bottle created a bad impression. Overall, it was a good experience except for the high price.

BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is a stunning red-stone place of worship in Nagpur, surrounded by gardens and illuminated with colored lights at night. It's an important landmark in the Vidarbha region, featuring idols of prominent gods like Shri Hanumanji, Shri Shrinathji, and Shri Lakshmi-Narayan Dev.
Swamynarayan temple is an example of very beautiful and eye catching architecture. The night view and light show is superb and pleasant. So no worries if you missed visiting temple in day time. Green area, garden and trees around the temple is also very well maintained. There are couple of restaurants in temple premises. Landscape is a feast to the eyes as well as idols and statues are really beautiful. There is a small playing park for children. A parking facility is available.

The Swaminarayan Temple in Nagpur is a stunning blend of devotion and architecture, but it's in the evening that its beauty truly shines. I’ve never had complaints about the temple before, but today was disappointing. Meal passes were given only to relatives and close contacts of the volunteers. One of the volunteers told us that passes were distributed until 12 PM, yet we never saw or heard anyone actually giving them out. As a common visitor, you can enjoy the “Anna Kut,” but don’t expect to receive the full mahaprasad meal unless you have inside connections.

Nestled in the heart of Nagpur, Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Dargah is a modern shrine dedicated to the revered Sufi master Syed Mohammad Baba Tajuddin. This serene place of worship features stunning domes that come alive with vibrant lights during significant Muslim celebrations, particularly on the Urs of the saint. The dargah attracts not only Muslims but also visitors from various backgrounds seeking tranquility and spiritual solace. Its simple yet captivating architecture creates an inviting atmosphere for reflection and peace.

On a Sunday night there was a bit rush but not as that you’ve to wait.

I had the blessed opportunity to visit Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Dargah during Urs 2025, and the experience was nothing short of divine and soul-soothing. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, spiritual, and deeply moving. Despite the large number of devotees gathered for Urs, the arrangements were well-managed. There was a calm, sacred energy in the air as we entered the dargah premises. The chants of "Ya Tajuddin Baba", the fragrance of rose petals and incense, and the sight of devotees in prayer created a very powerful spiritual aura. The Dargah Sharif itself is beautifully maintained. The white marble structure, green dome, and the intricately designed interiors reflect both heritage and serenity. We spent time offering fateha, praying quietly, and just absorbing the positive energy around us. It truly felt like a moment of connection with the divine. What touched us most was the hospitality of the staff and volunteers, who were courteous, helpful, and ensured that everyone got a chance to offer their prayers in peace. The langar (community meal) was another highlight—simple, but filled with warmth and spiritual essence. During Urs, the spiritual gatherings, qawwalis, and the sea of people from all faiths coming together in devotion made the visit unforgettable. It reminded us of the unifying message of Sufi saints like Baba Tajuddin Auliya (RA)—of love, peace, and compassion. 📍 Highly recommended to anyone seeking spiritual solace, historical insight, or just a peaceful space to reflect. Whether you are a believer or simply a seeker of peace, the dargah offers a truly divine experience.

Entry fees is 20rs for each person, parking for bikes, bicycle and car available, parking fee is 10 or 20. I had gone to Sakardara Lake when the MLA of Nagpur had organized a drone show and firecracker show there on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. I enjoyed it a lot there. I had also made a video of that show which you will be watching below. I hope you all liked the video made by me.

Shopping mall
Poonam Mall, located in the heart of Nagpur, was established by N.Kumar Group to introduce the mall culture to the city. The mall features popular brands like Archies and Big Bazaar, as well as an entertainment zone called Amoeba. While some shops have closed down, Dominos, Inox, and Elements Lounge are still operational. The addition of local street food trucks has attracted more visitors to the area.
The 'hangout place' in East Nagpur. It has Inox restricted only to 2-D movies and also a big parking space. With various food chains nearby, it is a good option for both restaurant -goers as well as street food lovers!!
A G — Google review
This mall is isolated now with nothing much left over here as almost all shops have shut down. inox is also pathetic with broken chairs and filled with filthy insects and no cleanliness. Only good thing about this mall is domino's and elements lounge.
Sayali G — Google review
Poonam mall is closed
Shantosh D — Google review
One of the first malls in Nagpur and interestingly this is one of the worst mall you can go to. It has a movie theater and believe me this is one of the worst planned malls. Starting with location, almost to corner of Nagpur where no one goes. Parking is a serious mess, even paid parking does not feel secured. Entrance is a joke. 20 to 30 stairs and no excavator or lifts. A absolutely no for elderly or physically handicapped. Movie theater entrance is purely mess. We had bought premium seats and had to again climb 3 floors just to reach our seats. While returning we were guided inside another screen where some other movies was going on. Is smells weird in the theater and Mosquitoes were visible.
Ankur B — Google review
Most of the shops here are permanently closed the only things which are still alive :- inox, Dominos and elements. If you have to go in either of these then only come here otherwise don't come here or else you will waste your time. Inox seats are pathetic but shows a punctual. Domino's is good and hygienic. Elements is also good and clean.
Pratik G — Google review
Only remains of the place is the INOX theatre and the Loreal Salon. Rest the big bazaar and the brand factory have been permanently closed. The parking structure inside the mall is highly unmaintained. You can find good food options here.
Shreyash K — Google review
Earlier it was good but now most of the shops are closed. Dominos, inox and elements lounge are the only ones which are left here. Earlier underground parking was there but now that too has been closed. Still the parking is efficiently controlled. The add onn of the local street food trucks adds some more auidence to this place. The vicinity is quite good and spacious.
Kunal C — Google review
Most of the shops are closed including Big Bazaar. Inox is still there and i hope it will remain overthere. Once it was a flourishing mall but now its steps are being occupied by Lovebirds ( couples ). Security need to look after that before any untoward incident happens.

If you’re in Nagpur and love a mix of history, nostalgia, and fun, the Narrow Gauge Rail Museum at Motibagh is a must-visit! Spread across lush green grounds, this museum beautifully preserves the legacy of India’s narrow-gauge railways — once a lifeline for rural and regional travel. Inside, you’ll find vintage locomotives, steam engine , royal coaches antique signaling systems, and old railway tools that tell stories from a different era. Kids (and adults!) will love the mini toy train ride, garden replicas, and playful atmosphere. I loved it

Garden
Telankhedi Garden in Nagpur is a historic 3.5-hectare urban oasis established by King Raghuji Bhosle II in the 18th century. It offers well-maintained lawns, vibrant flowerbeds, and walking paths for visitors to relax and enjoy nature. The garden is located near attractions like Futala Lake and features a fish museum. While it's ideal for morning walks and family outings, its maintenance may be lacking.
Good place for the morning walk, there are different flowers planted there, also it is good place for kids too. The tank/pond gives the good vibes, peaceful place. Do visit!
Chhatrapati K — Google review
Such an amazing huge place but not at all well kept. I wish government pay more attention towards such treasures and revive them....Its a beautiful spot which needs to be visited for sure.
Asmita N — Google review
Telankhedi Garden is a beautiful and serene spot, especially in the early mornings when it’s open to the public. The greenery, well-maintained pathways, and peaceful ambiance make it a great place for a walk or some quiet time amidst nature. However, there is definitely room for improvement in terms of facilities, cleanliness, and overall upkeep. Since it remains open only in the mornings, it limits accessibility for those who might want to visit later in the day. It could benefit from better management, and perhaps allowing private operators to host events or functions could help in its maintenance and enhancement.

Beautiful park with a serene pond and diverse flowers. Nature's symphony with birds and peacocks from the nearby forest. Refreshing cool breeze, perfect escape!

Heritage garden of Nagpur very near to Futala lake. Garden is having variety of plants. Good for morning walkers and family outing. It has fish museum inside garden however not aware about current status because of Covid restrictions. Garden is however not that maintened.Only open in the morning hrs from 6 AM to 9.30 AM. No entry fees, maintenance from outside view was seeming to be poor.Near to foutala lake opposite to Telankhedi Hanuman Mandir.

A unique historic, and probably relatively unknown garden situated very much within the city. Built about 200 years ago, it is unique in having a Mughal style garden, with long palm tress. And there's a small lake within the garden itself. Areawise too it's one the largest in Nagpur, and the garden itself is surrounded by forested area, secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. That's why it stands apart. There's no noise of the city and one can easily enjoy the chirping of birds and cool breeze in the morning. The lawns and walking tracks are well maintained. All in all its perfect for peaceful morning walks and exercise, but can also work just as a hangout place for the youth. Entry is free until 10 am after which there's as fee.
Udit L — Google review
Best place to visit whenever you have free time and want some silence and greenery around you. The garden is about 200 years old but still in good condition . It would be the place to hangout with your loved ones or even with children. Even it has an ganit aquarium in the middle of garden. It has a series of fountain in the center of either walkways which enhance it's natural beauty.

This dish has gained immense popularity across Maharashtra, particularly in Nagpur. It offers a variety of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, including chicken, mutton, paneer, and mixed vegetables.
I tried Matka Biryani after finding this place on Google. I loved the way they prepare matka biryani(Mutton) as well as its taste. This is the best biryani I've tasted in Nagpur. Had a great time chatting with the owned who told us a lot about other specialities of his restaurant and all his praise for the matka biryani stand validated. Sherubhai Biryani Center & Tandoori Chicken Fry is a great spot if you’re craving affordable, flavourful biryani in Nagpur. The portions are generous, and their tandoori chicken is a nice bonus. When it’s not too crowded, the service is quick and friendly. That said, it can get really busy during peak hours, which means longer wait times, and sometimes the biryani can feel a bit oily or less aromatic. The seating area and cleanliness could use a little improvement. Overall, a solid choice for tasty biryani at a reasonable price — I’d happily return, especially during off-peak hours!

Tried chicken biryani Price-60rs/half plate . . Loved the aroma of the biryani it was just perfectly blended with the spices and the rice used was long grained which make it more exciting. Biryani is served with gravy and dalcha gravy was average but dalcha was too good and had my biryani with dalcha. . . A pocket friendly and must try place.

Sherubhai biryani center is famous for its cheap price and with great taste. It is mainly famous for biryani quality of rice and chiken fills good. Taste of biryani is too good i recomend it to try. Usually this place is very crowded because this shop is very famous there. Speciality of this shop is Biryani they cook it in chiken in cooker because of that chiken pieces are well cooked. Here every piece of chiken feels flavour full and taste of biryani rice is also good. The place is praised for its value for money, with dishes like cheese Puri, samosa chat, and sabudana chat receiving positive reviews.
One of the best Chaat experiences I've ever had. We tried 5 different dishes, and man all of them were Delicious. Do try their Dome Chaat Chaat Sandwich Aloo Tikki Chaat These 3 were phenomenal!

A decent chaat shop with a great taste. The flavors and quality of the food are impressive, making it a go-to spot for chaat lovers. However, I feel the pricing could be a bit more reasonable. Overall, it's a good place to enjoy some tasty chaat, but a slight reduction in prices would make it even better.

It's a self service place, you will have various chaat varieties here. I tried pizza puri which was average, cheesy chaat sandwich and Bombay veg sandwiches are my personal favourite. Also tried cheesy dahi puri the taste is good. You can enjoy hygienic and classic taste of chaat here with your friends and family at affordable prices.

Simply in love with this cute little place.. It's basically an improvised version of street style chaats and Pani Puri. A whole new twist to traditional Indian snacks. I specially loved the assorted pani puris 😋 the only problem is- it's a very cosy and small place. Limited seating arrangement. But that's okay considering the fact that it's a chaat Shala afterall. (Much better than an ordinary thela) I loved it here !
Vaishnavi V — Google review
Chat Shala Have something new in there menu card that is cheese Puri which is really good for a try and there samosa chat sabudana chat is also very good but the pani of normal pani puri is little bit tangy or what we can say its not like regular pani of panipuri some masala was extra in it. But taste wise the Chaat Shaala is reallly good and there packaging was also good loved it. The chutney and the curd and sev all were given in different containers. Basket chat was reallly good.
Karishma S — Google review
It was a decent experience. We ordered Assorted Pani Puri and Basket chat. Assorted Pani Puri was very good. But Basket chat was not that good. The basket was really stiff and with wooden spoon it wasn't breaking. Had to ask a staff member to break it for us. But by looking at its stiffness we decided to avoid eating the basket part and just eat the stuffing that was there. Overall it was okay experience.

Another great place to have some mughlai, Asian or Continental delicacy in Nagpur. They have a lovely ambiance with descent amount of sitting options along with a bar upfront. The walls are engrossed with food paintings and there are some lovely hangings lights. Hot n Sour Soup was good but a bit spicy as expected. Mutton Rogan Josh was well prepared and mutton was just perfectly cooked to attain a soft texture, but was a bit too oily. Dal Makhni was really delicious and cooked very well. Go with your squad or your partner and Beat the Heat with adventure.❄️❄️

So, it's good. But to make it easier to understand, I'll break my review down into pros and cons. Pro's 1) It's good & Huge 2) The beach and wave pool are fantastic. It gives the impression of being on a man-made beach. 3) New slides with some limitations will be discussed in the cons section. 4) The amusement park provided an enjoyable experience, despite the recent painting of the Giant Wheel and the presence of numerous rides. Cons 1) It is concerning that the water quality is not being adequately maintained, as my family and I have experienced severe itching issues that we have not encountered at other water parks. 2) The wave pool and rain dance combination is an interesting concept, however, the wave are like super weak. 3) New slides are good but only for ladies & Kids, and men are not permitted to use them 4) The cleanliness of the water in the adult slide area was a cause for concern, as it appeared to be rather unhygienic. Considering the significant cost of approximately ₹1300 per person, it is essential that the water quality and overall maintenance of the park meet the expected standards. Failure to do so diminishes the value and enjoyment of the experience for visitors.

Visited Fun N Food Village, Nagpur recently. The best part of the visit was definitely the amusement park – the rides were fun and well-maintained. The water park was also enjoyable and a good place to relax with friends and family. However, the major letdown was the food - both breakfast and lunch were very poor in taste and quality. If they improve the food, it would make the experience much better overall.

Visit: We visited Fun N Food on Friday. Tickets were booked 3 days in advance, but a system glitch caused a 30-minute delay as the tickets couldn't be generated. Water Activities: Only 4 water activities were functional: 1. Big pool 2. Active river 3. Wave pool 4. Tube slide section About 60% of the water activities were closed. Nostalgia: I expected the same nostalgic experience as my childhood visits, but it was lacking. There were no video games, and, no swimming suits, no. DJ RAIN DANCE was available. Locker Costs: Large locker cost ₹250 with an extra ₹150 deposit. It could hold 2 college bags. After losing the receipt, they charged ₹20 to reprint it, despite showing the locker unlocking key and Paytm transaction history. Facilities: Limited bathrooms. Food was fine. Amusement Park: The park used to have a horror house and various rides, but 80% of them were either closed or not functional. The water in the splash area appeared unhygienic. Conclusion: As a layman, the experience was fine, but as some kid with nostalgic memories of the place, it was disheartening to see Fun N Food lose all its charm.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Fun & Food Village, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations as a perfect destination for a day of fun, frolic, and delicious food. This waterpark is truly a paradise for families and friends seeking an enjoyable escape from the summer heat. As soon as I entered Fun & Food Village, I was captivated by the vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The park's well-maintained grounds, lush greenery, and colorful decorations created a cheerful ambiance that immediately put me in a joyful mood. The staff members were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, which further added to the positive experience. The water attractions at Fun & Food Village were simply fantastic. The park boasted an impressive array of slides, rides, and pools suitable for visitors of all ages. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie craving thrilling water slides or someone who prefers a more relaxed experience in the wave pool, there was something for everyone. The variety of rides ensured that no one in my group ever felt bored or unengaged. One of the highlights of Fun & Food Village was its emphasis on safety. I noticed that the park maintained strict safety standards and ensured that all rides were well-maintained and regularly inspected. The lifeguards were attentive, vigilant, and always ready to jump into action if needed, which provided a sense of security for everyone, especially parents with young children. Another aspect that impressed me was the cleanliness of the park. Despite being a popular attraction, the management made sure that the premises were spotless. The restrooms were regularly cleaned, and there were plenty of bins strategically placed around the park to maintain cleanliness. This attention to detail enhanced the overall experience and made the visit all the more enjoyable.
Sahil T — Google review
As compared to earlier, nothing is maintained here now. The way the staff talks has become very bad. They directly say that we don't need it right now more customer special for clothes and locker department. The things here are also very expensive. The new water parks that have opened there are much better and cheaper than this.

Nagpur offers a variety of picnic spots for every type of traveler, from religious sites like Ramdham and Adasa to adventure destinations like Waki Wood and Khekranala. Futala Lake, located in the heart of the city, is a popular spot for picnics and leisurely strolls. Visitors can enjoy the scenic beauty and colorful fountains that light up in the evening, creating a romantic atmosphere.
Waterbody is covered with greenary, eateries, very good accessibility. Spectacular sunset can be seen
Mousumi B — Google review
The Lake is fine in terms of Natural Beauty BUT attention of authorities are required for keeping the place clean out there. Natural Beauty is good but people throw the garbage alongside the beautiful lake. Moreover, there are Benches but not alongside the lake. Where there are Benches, lake views are restricted from there. Placement is an issue. More Surprisingly, Public Toilets are locked, so you don't have Basic facilities... Jaago Nagpur Municipality Jaago...

It's a good place. It looks more beautiful in the evening due to all the lights. But I was not that lucky enough to witness the fountain show , as it was opened only on trial basis , but if you visit it at day or evening you'll will get to see beautiful sunset, I got late and rain also soiled my visit

I went during the afternoon and there was absolutely nothing to do. The place was deserted and the parking took quite a long time to find and it was full of cow dung. If you visit during the evening there is a light show but during the day it is empty.

Futala lake is very famous in nagpur but I don't think it is worth it place... Only couples are here and nothing more... View is also not much attractive... But so many food stalls are here where anyone can have some local and streat food... Fountain is not functioning all days... Fountain will work only special days just like 26 January and 15 August etc...

Ambazari Lake

4.3
(1837)
Lake
Nestled just 7 kilometers from the vibrant city of Nagpur, Ambazari Lake stands as a stunning historic reservoir that captivates visitors with its expansive gardens and picturesque waterfront walkways. This enchanting destination is not only the largest lake in Nagpur but also one of India's most beautiful lakes, making it a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
Ambazari Lake, on Nagpur’s southwest border in Maharashtra, was constructed in 1870 under Bhonsle rule to supply water to the city via clay pipes, serving as a key resource for over 30 years. Named “Ambazari” (Marathi for “mango”) due to surrounding mango trees, it’s the largest of Nagpur’s 11 lakes and the Nag River’s source. The adjacent Ambazari Garden, established in 1958 over 18 acres, and the newer Ambazari Biodiversity Park nature trail, developed by the forest department, enhance its recreational and ecological value. What Can You See There The lake offers serene waters for boating (paddleboats and rowboats) and scenic sunset views. The garden features lawns, a children’s play area, and a defunct musical fountain, while the 4.5-km nature trail in the Biodiversity Park winds through grasslands and forest, showcasing over 100 bird species—resident and migratory—like kingfishers, herons, and rare cinnamon bitterns. Deer, peacocks, and aquatic life like turtles add to the biodiversity, with watchtowers and blinds for observation. Timings Lake and garden: Open daily, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM. Nature trail: 6:00 AM–12:00 PM and 3:00 PM–6:00 PM (closed Mondays). Best Season to Visit October to March (15–25°C) is ideal for pleasant weather and migratory bird sightings. Summers (April–June) reach 45°C, and monsoons (July–September) make trails muddy. Ticket Prices Lake: Free entry; boating fees apply (₹20–50). Garden: ₹10 (₹5 for kids). Nature trail: ₹10 (plus ₹30 parking). Photography is free.

As I have visited multiple cities and towns having good and clean lakes. This one hits differently. This lake has a raw feel to it. Locals come here in the morning and evening with family and friends. Nice place to come afar from City lights.

Relaxing place to walk around the embankment. However, there are no eateries. No sitting place either. Parking is paid. Halfway through is the access to the Metro station.
Ashwini O — Google review
It is one of the most beautiful spots in Nagpur. Whenever there's rain, this place along with Futala becomes the first priority for the Nagpuri people. This place has a very eye catching view and the sunset looks so attractive from here. The place is free to visit. Some people also do swimming here but it's very risky as many people have lost their life here due to the very deep water level. So I recommend parents to keep their kids away from the lake. Just enjoy the view. The parking is free. You can part anywhere in the free space. It is one of the lovers spots as well. So you may find many couples here into the bushes sometimes during Summer or Winter. I have seen many times Police having inspection here as it was one of the most suspicious places once upon a time. But now it's a lot safer, still not recommended during dark as it may be fatal to your life.

Serenity and Leisure at Ambazari Lake: Ambazari Lake and its surrounding garden offer a peaceful escape in the bustling city of Nagpur, Maharashtra. This popular recreational spot is the city's largest lake, making it a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The serene waters and lush greenery provide a tranquil environment, perfect for a relaxing day out. The garden is beautifully maintained, featuring a variety of trees, flowering plants, and well-paved pathways. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk, a refreshing boat ride on the lake, or simply sit on the benches and soak in the natural beauty. Morning is the best time to see lake in its glory. You may also want to visit at night for the huge bats that get off from the trees. You can swim in the lake (at your own risk) and the garden nearby offers a good morning experience.

Nestled atop a hillock in the heart of Nagpur, Maharashtra, Sitabuldi Fort is not just a historical marvel but also a significant site of the Battle of Sitabuldi that took place in 1817. Originally constructed by Raja Bhakt Buland Shah, a Gond king, in 1702, this fort has witnessed pivotal moments during the Third Anglo-Maratha War.
Sitabuldi Fort has witnessed the fiery battler with the British. It is well known in the history as the Battle of Sitabuldi. This war was fought with the British and the Maratha rulers of the Nagpur province famously known as the Mudhoji II Bhonsle. It was the declining times of the Maratha Empire. The British too desired to put an end to these local clans and bring the entire Maharashtra in to BEIC. This fort was visited by the Mysore King Tipu Sultan in an honor function. His grandson named Kadhar Ali Nawab along with his 8 supporters of freedom struggle was executed in this fort by hanging them. They were buried here and a mosque is built for them in the later years. Mahathma Gandhi in his freedom movement was arrested and spent his term of sentence in this fort prison. The Britons King George V with his wife Marry came here and did a public appearance to Nagpur peoples from this main fort. This fort is allowed to public viewing on all holidays of a calendar year. Presently there are many Public Interest Litigation (PIL) is raised to develop this fort and its surroundings as a major tourist attraction spots. There are many private operators who wish to invest here. But the PIL in the local court has to get the approval from the India Army which is garrisoned here from independence of India. Till this fort is conserved by the Army administration and kept this place as an Eco friendly zone. This is the only fort which is not left abandoned since its construction. The fort is opened for public on three days of the year: 26th January, 1st May and 15th August, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Entry to the fort will be closed at 3:00 pm from the main entrance gate. Visited Sitabuldi fort, this Independence Day. Along with college seniors, juniors and Batchmates we gathered there to visit this place. Just opposite to Railway station. Starting from gate at Railway station end, we registered ourselves and entered. Due to Mansoon it's greenery and natural beauty just get enhanced. At very start you came to a temple of Hindu god Lord Ganesha. Very pleasing surrounding environment. After going forward through woods and rocks we arrived on top of fort. This was site for Sitabuldi War in 1817. Some tunnels just give feel about that war time. Wandering around the fort get a overall good experience.

These Armybuffoons think they are above the law asking for personal info like Aadhaar card. Only establishment with a valid user license from UIDAI can ask for aadhaar card to verify identify. Asking for aadhaar is an offense under Aadhaar Act 2016. To all citizens, please don't share your aadhaar card, it can be misused as it is linked to your bank accounts and properties. On another related note the Army should vacate this place since it has historical relevance so it can be open to public and managed by NMC. You don't need army presence in cities

Breakfast restaurant
The Breakfast Story is a vibrant and trendy vegetarian cafe that focuses on serving delicious all-day breakfast options. The restaurant boasts a bright decor with sectional seating, creating a hip vibe for visitors to enjoy. The interior design features quirky and funky elements, such as second-hand goods repurposed into unique decorations. Guests can relax in the calm ambiance while savoring delectable breakfast items and soaking up the good atmosphere with friends.
The Breakfast Story Nagpur is one of the best breakfast joints in Nagpur. They have a very unique retro themed restaurant that takes you back to your childhood days. The collection of cassettes or old classic mobile phones or books brings in a lot of pleasant memories. Food is a wow and definitely something unique for us especially after eating a lot of South Indian and Maharashtrian menu. We were a group of 10 and some of my favourite menu items were the French breakfast, smoked chicken sandwich and the Spanish omelette. Service was very slow and it was primarily because they were understaffed and probably because of Diwali. I would any day recommend them for the food and will be one of my favourite places to visit to eat in Nagpur.

We recently visited The Breakfast Story. It's such a cute and cozy cafe with a unique menu. They have different breakfast platters and many other options. They try to serve a healthy and filling meal which I absolutely loved about the place. The place is nicely decorated and the food is great. We had Chicken Keema pav and Chicken overload Sandwich (With Panini Bread). It was really Savory. The breakfast story definitely has become our go-to place. Thanks!!

This is one which brought in a lot of nostalgia and though after a point it feels a little too overwhelming but still for a first visit during a very short trip to Nagpur, this beautiful place is a break that we need from the daily hustle bustle of our life with it’s quirkiness that attracts your attention to the tiniest detail to the attention the architect couple have given to every inch of this cafe. The photos and video(s) that you see in this review are exactly how this place looks and feels. My only reason of reducing one star is for them not having Spanish breakfast the day we visited, which was the main reason I visited, but yet the food we all friends had was amazingly tasty and quantity is quite justified for the price they charge. Would highly recommend it. My suggestion would be since the place helps us travel back in time, the owners could keep a no-phone rule for their customers and incentivise them for doing so.

An idle breakfast place in Nagpur, one of the many that comes to your mind when you are thinking of a place for breakfast. They have a wide variety to choose from, ranging from Indian, Continental to English breakfast. The service was a bit slow and it can be a bit annoying as usually you are hungry when you go for a breakfast, right? The owner was right there and was very friendly and hospitable, she made sure that the service was faster. The food tasted good and overall it was a nice experience with my friends and kids.

Highly recommended for its unique vibe and great food.

Fast food restaurant
Dahiya Momos is a popular spot with three outlets in the city, frequented by college students who consider momos an essential part of their university experience. The menu is simple yet satisfying, offering generous portions of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian momos. The restaurant provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it suitable for quick bites or leisurely meals with friends and family.
Wide variety of momos with different levels of spices, way of preparation, and stuffing. We had tandoori momos, garlic gravy, fried momos, and cheesy corn momos. They were all different and must try. After that depending on preferences you can be a regular for that particular one. The place isn’t fancy. It is simple looking and it took a while for them to take our orders as none was in the restaurant. So service wise not five stars.

Favorite spot for momos! The quality is consistent, and the service is friendly. Can't wait to go back!"

Recently, visited the famous and top rated Dahiya momos in Nagpur and I was blown away by the quality of food and service. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends and family. The menu has a wide variety of momos, including Steamed momos, Kurkure momos, Tandoori momos all of which were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the kurkure momos and Pizza Cheese flavour momos which was filled with juicy and flavorful fillings. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who were always on hand to assist with any questions or requests. The restaurant also had a quick turnaround time, ensuring that the food arrived fresh and hot to the table. Overall, I highly recommend this famous Dahiya Momos to anyone looking for a tasty and affordable dining experience. Whether you're a fan of momos or just looking for something new to try, you won't be disappointed by the quality of food and service at this restaurant.

I had been loving dahiya momos from the first time I tried it but the only thing I'd like to mention is that they've changed their teekhi chutney which comes along with mayonnaise to something different which was ok-ok but doesn't taste the same, it's not that spicy so somewhat changes the spark. ://

Place: Amazing place with complete hygiene. Nice ambiance ,it has two floors 1st floor has light themed ambiance and 2nd floor has dark themed ambiance. Both are great. i personally prefer 2nd floor as there we can play our own songs on music system and we can easily chillout there with friends or with our partners. Food: Devil soup chicken momos, makhani gravy chicken momos are must try things here. Rest of the menu is also amazing. its worth spending money here.

I have been visiting this place regularly but now I can say this place is not good at all for dine in, they ll take whole day to serve you just basic momos. However it seems they only serve to online delivery. My experience has deteriorated manifolds. I have ordered around 1843hrs and served 1925hrs just basic chicken steamed momos. Not satisfied at all.

North Indian restaurant
Step Inn is a delightful dining destination that perfectly caters to groups looking for a memorable meal. Renowned for its inviting atmosphere, this child-friendly restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine while also offering an array of North Indian, Saoji, Chinese, and Biryani dishes. Although the prices may be on the higher side, the exquisite flavors and beautifully presented meals make every penny worth it. During my recent visit to Step Inn Hotel, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of food and service.
Like the taste of food. Good restaurant to have non veg food and Chinese. Like the food 😊👍🏻

Too much rush, might be because of Independence Day. Service was good but as I said due to heavy rush 20 mins waiting for just taking the order after allocation of table. Food was very delicious as always,no complaints in that. Indoor is seating is much better than outdoor . Also table, salt & pepper and glasses were not clean. Nevertheless must try Chinese starters!

Recently visited the restaurant, we ordered butter chicken and chicken masala with butter nan with some starters. I must say all the dishes were finger licking good, too good in taste. Chicken was fresh and tender, nan was good. And cherry on the top is the ambience, it feels so good in there. Talking about service it's top notch. Overall we had good experience.

My recent dine-in experience at Step In Hotel was truly exceptional. From start to finish, everything surpassed my expectations. First and foremost, the **food was absolutely delicious**. Every dish I tried was expertly prepared, flavorful, and presented beautifully. It's clear the culinary team at Step In Hotel takes great pride in their offerings. The **staff was incredibly courteous and attentive**. From the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed and well-cared for. There was a **free two wheeler parking space available right in front of the hotel**. Finally, the **ambiance was simply the best**. The decor, lighting, and overall atmosphere created a perfectly relaxed and enjoyable setting for a meal. Overall, Step In Hotel offers a fantastic dine-in experience with delicious food, outstanding service, convenient parking, and a wonderful ambiance. I highly recommend it!

We went here for corporate dinner. Ordered some menu like chicken lehsuni, egg biryani, Rotis etc. but eggs used in the biryani was stale & smelling. Portion is extremely less compared to the huge pricing. Service is very poor & late. It was our mistake visiting this place. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Step In Restaurant, Nagpur is a wonderful place to enjoy a good vegetarian meal with family or friends. Located near Law College Square in Dharampeth, the restaurant serves a mix of North Indian, Saoji, Chinese, and Biryani dishes. We preferred vegetarian meals, and the Cheese Butter Masala stood out—it was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, truly one of the highlights of our visit. The place has a cozy indoor setting and a peaceful outdoor seating area as well. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. Though the prices are slightly higher, the quality and taste of the food make it totally worth it. Perfect for casual dinners or small celebrations, especially if you're craving something delicious and comforting.
