Park
Rannapark, also known as Parnu Beach Park, is the largest park in Parnu and the second largest in Estonia. Spanning over 45 hectares, it offers ample space for leisurely strolls amidst lush greenery. Situated on the way from the town center to the beach, this picturesque park is an essential stopover. Visitors can indulge in picnics under the shade of towering trees and admire the unique character of each tree swing.

Cute elefants everywhere, nice playgrounds, a beautiful park on the way to the beach. However, in the evening or when the wind blows less strong, mosquitoes become quite a problem...
Lovely park, with lovely benches, small fountain, birds singing, clean, even some games that can be played (checkers). Beautiful place near the seaside to read a book on the bench and enjoy the birds singing.
Beautiful park, with restaurant in park heart. I don’t like to walk, so I rented a bike.
Park is clean, and there is plenty of room to chill. Special events in the park form time to time. This time, there was the ending of the motorcycle season, which happens every autumn.

Pärnu Beach Park is on your way when you walk from the center and old town to the beach. It's a part of the beautiful beach area, a must visit place! There are places for a picnic, on hot summer days you can enjoy the shadows of big trees.
Days like that (hot&sunny) Rannapuisto is like Spain🥰 We rented a bikes that was brought to our hotel and with 10€/ day we saw hole Pärnu inside out, front and back. All nice and beautiful🥰

Performing arts theater
Endla Theatre, situated in the charming city of Parnu, Estonia, is a must-visit attraction. Established in 1911, it stands as one of the country's oldest theaters and is celebrated for its outstanding performances. The theater's Art Nouveau building is an architectural gem that captivates visitors. With a diverse repertoire ranging from drama to musicals and classics to modern plays, Endla offers at least 20 productions annually.
Nice little theatre with quite nice interior. Art shows on the walls, café etc. The impression might change depending on the play, but I personally chose a very good one. Due to the Christmas period, the exterior of the building was also decorated. Normally the building looks quite regular.

Decent theatre but only two cafes, so if it' crowded, you cannot rely on having a coffee during the break. The rows on the balcony are narrow for tall people. The wardrobe was understaffed, we had to wait forever for our coats and there were almist no places to put your things while you get dressed to go out.
A cosy place, very friendly staff. Super comfortable seats, we really enjoyed the show. A bit longish queue for refreshments but still all OK. Recommended!
New year opening 2019.
The best theater in Estonia, very interesting and funny shows. Ticket costs are reasonable. Recommend it!

Modern, nicely lit, warm department store with lots of shops, restaurants, cinema, ATMs, gym, etc etc. Recommended!
You can find all sorts of stores here. From H&M to pc games stores. By the way. One of the best (if not The Best) local farmers markets in town.

Pärnu is a nice town with lovely center (a few streets) with lots of cafés, restaurants and shops. There are a lot of art nouveau villas, mostly private. Ammende villa is a pearl and there you can eat in a top restaurant and also stay in guest rooms.

Due to the few very negative reviews, which I'm sure were exactly right, I was afraid to give them a go but being slightly drunk and just engaged I figured I'd give them a shot.
And boy what a shot it was!
The service was overwhelmingly perky and lovely up to the point where I could have adopted our lovely waitress 😍.
The food was insanely good and since it was such a special day for us we hogged through half the menu.
I eat out all the time and don't easily get overwhelmed about food but everything we ordered was insanely tasty and big and beautiful.
Given some of the previous negative reviews I certainly was not expecting much; rather took a gamble because I was dying for some decent tex-mex and a diner that plays country music, but BOY was I i for a surprise when I stumbled upon the best god damn saloon east of the Mississippi River.
Yes, I most certainly DO recommend this fine restaurant to anybody looking for insanely good food with service as sweet as sunshine.
There are a lot of very inexpensive dishes to be had from like 5 euros up; being festive and spending several hours eating&drinking up the most expensive items in the menu like the world was gonna end tomorrow we still couldn't rack up more than about 70€ so not a bit expensive either.
Thanks for a wonderful engagement meal; next time I'll bring the rest of the family to enjoy your menu.

Me and my partner went out to have dinner and came across this fairly new restaurant in Pärnu. The service was awful, both ladies who served us were openly talking behind our back about us getting a discount because of their happy hour which is just rude.
Furthermore, the girl who served us told us that green ice tea is not a drink in the happy hour even though it states it in on their menu. Then she constantly gave us a rude look and rolled her eyes at us.
My partner's meal was OK, mine on the other hand was over-sauced and the meat was as dry as the United Kingdom during the heatwave.
This is an awful place to dine at, even the Pepsi had no fizz in it nor ice as seen in the picture.
Food came fast, but it tasted very weird, there was too much oil in the food. Chicken nuggets dripped of oil and it tasted like they had used the same oil over and over again. Don't recommend :(

The place is convenient, because it is in the center near the bus station, the food is made somehow, of all the places where you can eat sushi, this will be in last place in Pärnu. In the cafe itself there is some unpleasant specific smell, like from the sewer, the staff is strange, unfriendly, as if the client is not paying money, but asking them for food. I do not recommend.

Beautifully presented dishes that tasted as good as they looked. Vegan and gluten free options made this a must try and it didn’t disappoint in quality, service and atmosphere (outdoor terrace among the greenery). This restaurant is a must if you are in the area.

The reviews are accurate! This place is a gem. The restaurant itself is adorable, a romantic feel, cutely decorated. Service was fast and friendly. We could tell the gal really put forth effort to do a superior job. The food was plenty. We tried the sharing starter which was a mix of meats, cheeses, veggies - it was awesome, so flavorful. Then we had the lamb and the pork. Both were nicely cooked and again, lots of flavors. We notice Estonia loves sauces and lots of flavor. For dessert we had the watermelon soup which was okay. And the rhubarb cheesecake which was out of this world delicious. We definitely recommend a dinner here, we really enjoyed all the flavors and our experience.

Very well presented dishes of local produce, perfectly suited to summer. The soolalõhe and perch were excellent, but the refined strawberry+watermelon soup dessert was a joy, taking me back to childhood days of endless summer and perfectly sweet fruit. Excellent head waiter with good knowledge of the dishes and wines, attentive but not intrusive. I recommend booking in summer, although they were able to accommodate walk-ins when I was there, not every dish was still available. On a warm evening the shaded terrace was wonderful.
What an amazing reception. We came with a colony of nine (during prime time) and were directed to a sunny veranda. Tables were combined and a special kids menu was made. Delicious food & coffee! Fine sanitair, excellent host & service. 6 stars.

Not what we expected. There was 8 of us and we had to wait for quite a while before we got a table. They don't take reservations. The waiters didn't seem interested in making any extra effort to arrange a table for us or even offer drinks. Finally we got a table and got to order. The waiter had forgotten one of the starters and once the fish soup arrived it was dull and without salt. Main courses were okay, but the plates were cold so the food got cold in an instant. Our waiter didn't know much about the wine list, grapes etc.
Maybe they were having a bad day or something. Definitely not worth the hype.
Hea Maa, Pärnu: A Gentle Table off the Beaten Path
There’s something quietly disarming about stepping into Hea Maa. The bustle of central Pärnu falls away as you cross its threshold into a dining room dressed in vintage calm—floral tablecloths, white-painted chairs, a playful screen printed with rows of leather-bound books, as if the space had borrowed its manners from an old country salon. The lighting is soft, the air unhurried; it is the sort of room that encourages you to linger.
The evening began with a small stumble: my request for ice cubes was met instead with a glass of crushed ice, which promptly leached the sparkle out of a bright rhubarb lemonade. A minor hitch, quickly forgiven, for the food soon spoke with far greater clarity.
A plate of beef carpaccio arrived as a delicate composition—slivers of meat under a scatter of greens and tiny vegetables, lifted by just a breath of truffle. The pork tenderloin was the work of a sure hand: evenly cooked, succulent, and accompanied by the occasional baby carrot, one or two of which seemed to have resisted the call of the pan.
Dessert was a summery epilogue—a chilled soup of watermelon and strawberry, sweet but not cloying, given a quiet counterpoint by the gentle nuttiness of oat ice cream.
Hea Maa will not overwhelm you with theatrics, but nor does it need to. It is a place of steady pleasures, content in its craft, and for those willing to wander beyond the main streets, a meal here feels like time decently, and deliciously, spent.

We came to Parnu for the beach but this lovely hotel was a delightful destination of it's own.
The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the grounds are a fantastic place to enjoy each other's company, the fine weather and some delicious food and drinks. Our children loved the playgrounds as well. This was the highlight of our summer travels. Definitely hope to return, and highly recommend!

Mixed feelings on our stay 👇🏻
🏨 Room: Whilst the room is a bit dated, that’s part of the appeal and charm of the hotel. It’s very spacious and comfortable to stay in. It doesn’t feel “5-star” compared to other European old house equivalents but it’s nice nonetheless.
👧 Kids: There are some very sweet touches for young kids. The soft toy monkey in the cot was super sweet and our little one loved it, so much so she took it into the bath 🙈. There appears to be only one high chair though which is inconvenient if more than two babies (didn’t impact us but could see it may have impact others).
🥘 Food: The breakfast was nice, the service was really attentive and we enjoyed it. The option for the evening at the hotel is quite high end. We felt quite conscious with a little one with couples enjoying romantic fine dining meals. The food was lovely - although difficult to make it work fully for the little one. I think it’s something that more awareness could be provided on, and alternative options. To be fair, the weather was quite bad so we didn’t explore others nearby.
It was a pleasant stay, but felt more equivalent to a B&B type stay in the UK than an old house 5-Star hotel. It’s a perfectly pleasant stay, and some really nice touches, hence the mixed feeling comment. Also, recognise we may be the wrong audience for the hotel, and think it would be a different experience for a couple than a family stay.

Our 10th anniversary celebration was a big disappointment. The room met expectations, but the restaurant was far below previous experience. The food was over-seasoned and the drink menu was very limited. For the owners' information, it is not possible to run a pop-up restaurant in Pärnu with such a price and quality from Tallinn... Unless of course there are customers who are willing to pay such a price for below average quality food...
We stayed here in the autumn (October 2021) and received a warm welcome on a rainy day. The hospitality was wonderful, the food delicious and should we visit Pärnu again we would stay longer. Beautiful and clean rooms. Estonia is a lovely country.
The Villa is an amazing place to stay. Definitely the best place to stay in Pärnu! The Art Nouveau architecture and gardens. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was supreme.
Super staff and amazing service, nice and elegant rooms and extra points goes to breakfast. This is really something, where a morning bubble is also offered. You can choose warm breakfast from the menu and my omelet with goat cheese was huge. The art nouveau building and garden around it are amazing.

West side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the west side side of town. Start the day off with Kaubamajakas, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Spa Hotel Tervise Paradiis. All together, your day would be filled with about 6 hours of non-stop fun.

Nice place. A surprisingly large shopping paradise in Pärnu. It's amazing that food prices in Estonia are relatively high compared to Finland, even though salaries are lower. Strange!
OK shopping experience. From the food courts aisle we tried Duckface and we were very satisfied. 4 hours of free parking. The toilets on the first floor are mixed, this is very weird and uncomfortable. Cleaner level can be increased, therefore deducting one star

Normal mall with all basic goods. Good that there is three malls just nearby PortArtur1 and PortArtur2 and Pärnu Keskus.

Probably one of the first shopping malls in Pärnu, Pirt Artur offers you some great shops to those, who care about nature, home and second-hand clothes. Biomarket is a great place to find good food and many other things. If you're a fan of second-hand clothes, go to Kilomaxx where you can get one of a kind clothes with the price of € per kilogram. For gamblers, you can find a casino on the floor 0. And if you're hungry, go get some Hesburger to fill yourself up and continue your shopping!
Little brother of the second port artyr
It's a mix of different stores. Some if them good some of them "interesting". Still worth to go if you find a store, you need to visit.
Has a cool vr/anime store where you can play vr games. They sell a lot of japanese stuff (ramen, anime stuff, candy)

Here you can buy all sorts of vegetables and other grown products outside. Several vendors come daily, and expect a lot of people as it is popular. Inside is shops for fresh seafood and meat, together with handcraft shops, and places to eat. There is also a Rimi store for your everyday grocery shopping.
Flowershop, vegetables, fruits, meats, and fish. You will find fresh foods there. Bank card was available inside shops
Market has large inside and spacious outside area. Many local farms sell their products. Seasonal food and plants are sold. Also small shops, bakery, caffe shops, mini Rimi. My favorite part is outside area. On warm seasons lot of local producers and hobby gardners sell what they grow on outside area.
Inside also cheap clothes, home products and many more is sold.
Marketplace is fine, and there's a shop in it too, in case you want. Nice pastery caffe too! But invalid bathroom has a very bothersome door, if you go with an electric wheelchair or with childrens carriage.

Long straight beach with white sand. Easy on the feet. The water is shallow so very suitable for kids. Coffee shops and others along the shore. I traveled there in Autumn.

Rannaniidu matkarada, also known as the Parnu coastal meadow hiking trail, is a 600m path featuring a viewing platform located by the sea in the heart of Parnu beach. This well-constructed trail offers visitors an opportunity to explore the unique ecosystem of the city. The walk provides stunning views and a chance to observe birds, frogs, and other wildlife living in the high grass.
A short but lovely wooden walkway by the beach, around 400 meters long. Along the path, there’s a small tower offering great panoramic views of Pärnu Beach in every direction. The tower also has bird identification images to help spot and recognize local bird species. A peaceful and scenic little stop, perfect for a quick stroll and some nature watching.

Just came back from a stay at Spa Tervise Paradiis and loved every moment! The free pass to the water park was such a fun bonus — slides, saunas, jacuzzis, and more. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with a huge variety, fresh options, and delicious coffee. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Friendly staff, great location right near the beach — everything you need for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend for couples, families, or a solo wellness trip. Will definitely return!

Very nice hotel in an excellent location. The beach is close by. The general appearance of the hotel is modern. We had a room with a balcony with a great sea view. Our beds and air conditioning were ok. The spa with a good selection of different slides was a nice experience. The customer service was good. The breakfast did not fully meet expectations due to the limited selection of warm meat dishes. Usually just small sausages and fried bacon. The shower in our hotel room was a big disappointment because of too weak water pressure. However, the overall rating is very good.

Aside from that, everything was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a family vacation or a calm seaside escape.
I really enjoyed the hotel. We had a rainy week during our stay at Parnu so the water park was extra useful. The kid really liked it. The small indoor play room was also great for the kid.
The room was clean. The food in the hotel isn't very tasty. Not in the buffet or the restaurant.
Best decision to go here on our overnight trip to Parnu. Amazing value, we took the package "for you and your loved one". Aquapark isn't that good, but oh my god the dinner we had! This alone was worth to visit this place. Also the room with sauna was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend, exceeded expectations for sure!
I would rate the service quite low. There was no free water in the room (only sparkling water on the first day), which I found very unusual. Cleaning service was missing, only upon request but the phone in the room didn’t work for us. Nothing was prepared or offered for the baby in the room, and there was no help with luggage.
On the positive side, the location is excellent — right next to the sea, with a nice playground and a pool available. The breakfast buffet was okay, but as someone who is gluten intolerant, I got sick every time, and unfortunately, the same happened when eating at the hotel’s restaurant.
Overall, I would say the hotel was just okay, with a great location but disappointing service and facilities.
Spa and Waterpark is fun, decent prices. Loved the saunas, Japanese bath and slides. Cocktail bar is terrible don't order anything there.
Convenient for families, beach front, fun waterpark, not very clean or fancy, too expensive for what it offers.
I liked:
1. Big rooms, family rooms (2 connected rooms) are great for families. Big balconies. Clean, modern rooms.
2. Waterpark is very fun for kids and adults. My 4 yo loved the slides and the baby pool.
3. Location on the beach, near the bog. But a 25 min walk to the old town.

5. Dinner buffet was good quality, although not many options. But it included soft drinks and coffee. Would not get the half board option again, but it's good for families with kids, for convenience.
Didn't like:
1. Cleanliness is lacking significantly. Didn't see any staff cleaning anything during our stay. It gets very dirty and messy by the evening. Aquapark is run down, old and rusty. Needs a renovation.
2. Aqua bar - just one person is serving, cashing, preparing the food. Big ques, not efficient.
3. All AquaPark feels understaffed. Nobody supervising slides. Nobody cleaning. It's a no man's world.
4. Hotel communal areas need a serious renovation, it feels like an old communist hotel.
5. Average breakfast.
6. For the huge price paid I expected a sea view room, but got rooms looking over pipes and ventilations. Very disappointing. Also very noisy at night.
7. Weird dinner hours 17-19. Inconvenient for my family.
8. Sauna world is a joke. It's very small and crowded, only has 5 saunas, a small pool and an onsen. Would not pay again, you can use saunas in locker area. Also cleaning lady came to close saunas at 21 00!!
9. Everything opens at 11, very inconvenient, especially on a rainy/cold day and closes at 21 30, although it says everywhere and on their site that closing hour is 22 00.

And they were too salty and so so cold. I Don’t recommend this place. Save your money and go to an another place with better workers and food!

Great poke bowls and gyoza. You need to order at the counter and pay there directly. The level of spiciness is wrongly written in the menu, as the prawn poke bowl is said to have three levels, however it’s a very mild spice.

I read people writing the the service is unfriendly, but the girls answered to hello and they don’t bother the customers, they are not rude.
The Baos were delicious and the poke bowl as well. But the sweet potato fries were terrible. They had some kind of sweet sauce added on the truffel mayo and the shredded chicken was just boiled chicken.
So dont recommend getting that.
Very nice and calm place. Waitresses are polite and explain everything when asked. Food was great, we ordered sushi and gyoza, which was nice. Also the caramel frapucchino was super refreshing! You have to order soja, wasabi and ginger separately so be aware of that but it only costs 0,40€ for each element, so not much in addition (1,20€) We actually ordered one of each and it was enough for both of us 😉
From the name, it's hard to guess what's on the menu. We decided to give it a try and came back to this restaurant again and again for lunch and dinner as the dishes continue to delight. Reasonable prices, dishes were freshly prepared and good portions.

A pleasant surprise tucked away near a quiet road in Pärnu. Taldrik brings authentic Indian flavors in a clean setting. The dishes are well-balanced, flavorful, and comforting without being overly heavy or spicy unless you ask for it. Really good portion sizes.

This outdoor café, located on Hommiku Street just a few steps from Ruutli Street, offers a great atmosphere with comfortable seating on the lawn. The food truck serves amazing wood-fired pizzas like margherita and Argentinian empanadas. The staff is friendly and accommodating, even considering allergies when serving customers. The modern look of the restaurant adds to the overall enjoyable experience.

Very nice food truck. The atmosphere was good with comfortable chairs on the lawn. We ordered a margherita pizza and some Argentinian empanadas. The pizza was amazing. Well cooked and tasty. For a margherita, it had too many ruccula leaves for my taste but not an impediment to fully enjoy it. The empanadas were very tasty also, but they came with a sauce that covered them. This nullifies the finger food aspect of the dish since you cannot pick them up without getting it on your fingers. It was not bad so I would recommend just serve it on the side like a dipping sauce.

Lotte Village Theme Park in Parnu County is a vibrant recreation of the colorful Gadgetville, featuring costumed actors and a small train that bring the world of cartoon character Lotte to life. The park offers plenty of activities for kids, including games and theatrical exhibitions throughout the day. With numerous dining options and stores selling Lotte-themed merchandise, it's an expansive park that promises endless exploration. Visitors recommend arriving early to make the most of their time there.
Our little daughter and every other young child we saw absolutely loved their time in Lottemaa. The character of the place is charmingly rustic and nestled into the woods. The buildings are all nice, wooden structures that come directly from the cartoon series. The young actors roaming about the place, in their authentic costumes with their quaint caps and hairdos, have minimal face makeup to appear as the humanistic animals from the story. Yet the children immediately recognize them and embrace them and often hold their hands as they stroll through the woods together. The highlight is a delightful staged musical production in the far end of the village. I was impressed with the enthusiastically energetic and talented cast. Then, as the afternoon came with its early dusk of winter, we left on the little train after being serenaded by the cast with the children commingling and singing along the familiar tunes. The whole experience was a joy for our little girl and us parents alike. We hope to visit again in the summer.

Excellent theme park. Lots of interesting things, the child is very happy. I especially liked the train ride. The animators are great. There is a cafe where you can have a snack.
I found the price very expensive. 2 kids, 1aduld, car park, and the return train ticket ( long walk with small kids) was 100€. The place is more like walk and look pretty buildings kinda place. There are lots of actors chatting around and placing a show. There's not much for kids to do at all. We were done with the place in 2-3h and felt a bit ripped off. But maybe if we had watched the show, it would hit differently.
Nice theme-park, lots to do for kids. Most of the time is planned out by theme-park workers, who play games with kids and give theatrical exhibitions for parents and kids(exhibitions are given 5 times a day). Theme-park is very big and there’s a lot to explore if you don’t want to take part in exhibitions and games. There are also many different places to eat and stores where you can buy very many Lotte-theme things. It is a theme-park you could possibly visit repeatedly and still not get bored.
A very nice theme park to spend a day with the kids (however, it's meant for rather younger children). They have animators who also speak Latvian (and some other Estonia's neighbours languages), therefore it's worth to visit it even if you aren't Estonian. We spent the whole day there, and I personally liked a lot the closing of the park - accompanied by singing and dancing. The entry price is quite expensive - 32€ (with train to and from the park) per person.
Ice cream is cheap, and so is beer (4 euros). If the weather is nice, the 28-euro ticket price is worth it. Essentially, you get 3–4 shows per day for the kids and plenty to explore. However, the place is mostly targeted at small children (ages 5 and under).
Lotte Village Theme Park is a magical place for kids and families! Based on the beloved Estonian Lotte characters, the park is full of charm, creativity, and fun activities that keep children entertained for hours.
The environment is clean, colorful, and beautifully designed with great attention to detail. There are interactive shows, music, games, and hands-on experiments, all led by friendly characters from the Lotte universe. The staff stay in character the entire time, making the experience even more immersive and fun.
It's not just about rides, this park encourages curiosity, imagination, and learning through play. There's plenty of space to run around, picnic areas, and a few food options on-site. Most activities are geared toward younger kids (ages 2–10), but parents will enjoy the cheerful atmosphere too. Return train journey at 6pm is really nice as they give a nice fun song filled sendoff.
Located near Pärnu, it’s easy to reach and makes for a perfect summer day trip.
If you're visiting Estonia with children, Lotte Village is a must-see. It’s wholesome, joyful, and leaves you smiling. Highly recommended!
Wow, this place got really expensive. €160 for a 2-day pass, parking and train for 2 adults and a 3-year old. Pärnu Rannastaadioni jõusaal is a part of the larger Pärnu Rannastaadion, which is known for its stunning track and excellent facilities. The gym offers everything necessary for a comprehensive workout and is open to the public every day. Visitors can also enjoy the reasonably priced cafe with good food, spacious changing rooms, and sauna facilities.
Both hands down, my favorite gym in Pärnu. Has all the needed equipment (except a treadmill without one can easily get around as well) and, in the afternoons also features a sauna. Has one the most beautiful views opening from the windows to the sea and, most of the time not that crowded as well.

This place offers a good burger. It has nice caramelized onions, nice dressing, lightly roasted bun and hand made medium cooked cutlet. Addition to the burger you do get freshly pickled cucumbers. No fries though. All in all a good and safe choice, but really nothing special. For the asked price would have expected something a bit more than pickles. Primitivo by glass was superb.
Another gem of Pärnu. We wanted something lighter for lunch and they did not disappoint. We tried both salads on the menu and focaccia. And while their vision of salad is quite different (think toppings and stuff rather than lettuce/greens), both were delicious! Great combinations of flavors. The apple tea was amazing. And the desserts are a must! We tried a cake pop for something simple, very good!! We highly recommend and would definitely eat here again. Service was fast and friendly, fair prices, and a very clean, organized cafe.
We had an amazing breakfast experience! The variety of dishes was impressive, and everyone in our group was able to find something they truly enjoyed. We left very happy and full.
The coffee was excellent, and the pastries were absolutely delicious. The crème brûlée bun was something truly unique – we have never seen anything like it anywhere else.
The staff was extremely polite, caring, and always smiling, which made the atmosphere even warmer. We will definitely come back here again on our next trip to Pärnu!
You just got to have breakfast here! Their breakfast menu is full of choices that are not traditional, but they have perfected their recipes. I had the cheesy naan bread two times and I did not regret it. The place gets full fast and the service was tad slow, so don't come for a quick bite, but to enjoy the morning. Got bit noisy too because the place is one big room and there are no acoustic dampeners.
We visited twice and always enjoyed our time here. We usually came in for tea and desserts, to read books and do some work. Servers were all friendly and they speak English! Love the key lime pie and matcha latte. Very nice place to chill~

A huge park in center city with a separate skate park, basketball court, and children's play area. There are numerous structures to climb on with slides and climbing ropes. There's a jumping court and plenty of covered seating for patient parents.

Amazing walk on a sunny day! they are super safe and ok to walk when it's not rainy. Great place for a swim cause it's deeper at the end of the sea wall.
Most beautiful place in Pärnu! Scary also. Rocks are quite slippery in the middle because waves constantly hit those rocks. Extra attention must be given walking. As beautiful as it might be its also very dangerous if not careful enough.

I hope more people visiting the beach find this place. It is definitely higher quality than anything on the beach, and the prices are reasonable. The food has a nice character of its own, like the Triple - cheese and bacon burger that was served split half sitting in cheese in a bowl.

Amazing place just in front of the most popular Parnu beach! Delicious tacos, wraps etc... do you like curry? Red curry with crispy chicken - the most delicious one I've ever tried! Definitely coming back for tasty meal when we are here after a stroll via the Parnu beach.

We visited the place with our family since we enjoy Armenian food, and we had never been to this location before. The service was surprisingly poor, from start to finish (for this reason, we would not recommend going back). The food was so-so, good since it is Armenian, but not comparable to many other Armenian places. The place itself is pretty dark. In the beginning there was another family around another table, but for the last hour, we were actually the only customers (it was around 5-6 pm).
The food is not bad… BUT when you come to restaurant with armenian cusine you expect something better and more exciting.

I dined at Trahter Postipoiss and had a fantastic experience! The cuisine was authentic Eastern European and incredibly delicious (I tried Siberian pelmenis in a creamy mushroom sauce, as well as fish steaks with mashed potatoes). The portions were generous, and even without the starters, there was plenty of food. The prices were very reasonable. Convenient parking was available in front of the restaurant, but it was also easily accessible on foot.

The vibes were great, but it can be very loud there with the live concert taking place right next to you, so maybe not the best for a quiet date night.
Also, the tables are only very big so it is like social dining when the place is full.

We had lunch in Pärnu, Estonia—a place that came recommended, and rightly so. It was still early in the day, and we were among the first guests. The waiter showed up on time and did his job well, even though he didn’t speak English. Luckily, someone in our group spoke a bit of Estonian, and with a little patience and goodwill, everything went smoothly.
The food? Simple and good—nothing fancy, just honest, well-prepared dishes. The beer was priced at EUR 9.50 per liter, which felt perfectly reasonable.
All in all, the place left a good impression, and it’s one I’d gladly return to. Time will tell :)
The food is quite decent, even the prices. The service is slow, they are short staffed. The women staff try their best but there are just too many tables for them to serve. The tall guy waiter is quite useless, they can remove him and keep someone else more productive.

The only slight disappointment stemmed from our own expectations and misunderstanding rather than the farm itself. We purchased an alpaca toy for our daughter and gloves for my wife, only to later realize that neither was made in Estonia or sourced from this specific farm. While this was a minor letdown, as we had hoped to support a local business, we recognize that it was our responsibility to check the labels more carefully before making a purchase.

We visited a small alpaca farm that had just a few animals, but it was still a pleasant experience. The alpacas were friendly and gentle, and it was nice to see them up close. While the farm is quite small and doesn’t have many animals, it makes for a quick, relaxing stop if you enjoy nature and want to meet these calm creatures.

Absolutely loved our visit to Alpakafarm! 🦙 The place is peaceful, clean, and perfect for a relaxing day out with family or friends. The alpacas are adorable, friendly, and clearly well cared for. You can feed them and take plenty of photos, great fun for both kids and adults!
Besides alpacas, there are also llamas, goats, sheep, guinea pigs, and even some exotic animals, which was a nice surprise. The staff are super friendly and happy to share interesting facts about the animals and the farm’s story. You can even walk with an Alpaka in a closed fence for a small fee.
The whole place feels welcoming and warm, and you can tell the animals are treated with love and respect. There's also a small shop with soft alpaca wool products—perfect for souvenirs or gifts.
Easy to find, plenty of parking, and reasonably priced tickets. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the Pärnu area or nearby. Would 100% visit again!

Very modern museum with interactive and interesting exhibitions
I like it. Deep dive into the rich history and culture of the Pärnu region.
This exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of the history of Pärnu and its surroundings from the Stone Age to the present day.
It includes artifacts, interactive displays, and multimedia presentations.
Good museum about the history of Pärnu and Estonia in general. If you have a few hours to kill in Pärnu I would definitely recommend. The staff was amazingly helpful and soo happy to see people outside of north Europe coming to visit them. The gift shop is also reasonably priced.
The displays were interesting and well displayed.
The temporary exhibition,
"Kings and Guards historical weapons and armor" was especially good. There are ads for it all around town, even in the Tallinn Gate.
Exhibitions are interesting and give a great overview of Estonian history and Pärnu. The museum is modern and looks really good. Quite interactive too. Temporary exhibition was great also. It's not a big museum, but I was there for 2 hours. I liked it!

Historic Sites
Punane Torn, the only remaining structure from a medieval castle, has been beautifully restored and now houses the Parnu museum. Visitors can enjoy a 360-degree movie on the top floor that provides an overview of Parnu's history from the ice age to modern times. The second floor features a model of the old city and archaeological findings from the area. While some visitors feel that their ticket money could be better spent, others see it as supporting cultural preservation.
The Red Tower is a fantastic place to learn about the history of Pärnu. The exhibition is well put together, informative, and gives you a great overview of the city’s past. The entrance is affordable, and it’s even included in the Museum Card, which is super convenient. I was lucky to be welcomed by Silve, who was extremely friendly and kind, she really made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if you’re in town!

What can I say, it’s a beautifully restored tower. The main attraction is the 360 movie on the top floor, takes about 10 minutes and off you go. Basically there’s nothing much more… Not 100% sure if it’s well spent ticket money but you can think of it as a support of the culture, makes you feel good.
Friendly customer service. Great air conditioning. The 8 euro informational film was not worth it. It was a 360 degree film about local history, but you had to constantly turn back to the monitor to read the description. Perhaps hire a voice over artist to record the text so one can listen while enjoying the 360 movie. Or just pay someone to stand there and read it out loud. I can do it on Sunday’s as I have nothing else to do.

I dined at Ephesus Cafe & Brasserie twice while visiting Parnu. The restaurant is located on a pedestrian-only street and offers pleasant outdoor seating as well as comfortable indoor space. The pizza was freshly prepared with a delicious crust, and they also had a variety of other main dishes available. I particularly enjoyed the bacon and blue cheese pizza, as well as the well-cooked steak fajitas.
we didnt have much time to stay there, thats sad, cus the staff was incredible and so nice, the food came fast and it was one of the most delicous meals we have had in a loooong time. we had salmon soup that had so much salmon in, tasted amazing and the the most delicious kebab quesadilla ever. Thank you so much! And for sure when back in Parnu, this will be the place to stop by.

We had a quick lunch at Ephesus and really enjoyed their unique style of service. Our meals were satisfying and well-prepared. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to try the wine, which would have paired nicely with our dishes. We also had a special request, and the staff handled it perfectly. Overall, a great experience!
The burger here was so good after a long bus ride, and the smoked cheese on it sealed the deal. On a Friday night, the place was empty except for us. I can’t imagine why though, because the food is very good. Lots of seating, but only two bathrooms. The fry sauce was amazing and tasted like that one thing you had once, but have never been able to find again.

Very sad that this restaurant has declined like this. I've visited Ephesus several times before and I have been quite satisfied at those occations. This time though, the staff was not very interested and not alert at all. And when I clompained over the lack of bread and olive oil as a natural complement to the Bolognese, the waiter didn't seem to care. They were not very generous either when I ordered a glass of red wine. And the male? waitor with green hair and painted nails felt misplaced as well. Not to my liking! I will not come back!

Café Grand is one of the participating restaurants in Parnu Restaurant Week 2021. Visitors have described it as a lovely place with very friendly staff and excellent service, offering a pleasant atmosphere, magnificent interior, and reasonable prices. It has become a new favorite cafe for some patrons and is considered the best place in town to have a cocktail. The food and atmosphere are also highly praised by visitors who had an enjoyable time there.

The experience with this cafe was like a slap in the face. I went with a very light heart, my first morning in Estonia. There was a breakfast buffet with a lot of food left, and only 2 clients. So I asked the waitress to have breakfast. She replied that the breakfast is over. It was not even 10 a.m. Absolutely shocking attitude for a cafe!
We wanted to have a coffee " in stile" however - not the best place. The coffee was average, service too, while polite, but we had a feeling they want us to leave asap.

Nice surroundings, but the cake was stale and the cappuccino boiling. When we pointed it out to them that this wasn’t good and we’re leaving they apologized but still took our money, despite the fact that our cakes and coffee sat untouched on the table. Avoid.

This charming eatery offers a delightful array of tostadas and other dishes that are perfect for sharing. The cozy atmosphere is complemented by friendly staff who enhance your dining experience. During my visit, I sampled several dishes, starting with a rich and flavorful soup that truly stole the show.
Everything tasted good, looked really colourful and pretty, but the flavour didn't wow me. The bread can be alot better, it does not have the bread fragrance. Everything tasted what they are supposed to taste like, just there are no layers of flavours that will make me want to come back for more.

Our food was so good, we came again the next day. Lunch, each time: warm, soft pitta bread, eaten with seaweed salad, with sprats, with avocado and lime, with jellied eels, with rich and meaty lamb sausages. Explosions of flavour, wonderful textures. Even the water - with sea buckthorn berries, mint, and citrus - was memorable. Amazing!
Lovely quaint place with sweet staff! The food was really tasty - the mussels are a strong recommendation. However the vegan options are a slight let down - the "yellow hummus" simply had too much kurkuma to be enjoyed properly.
Parking on the street nearby "Vee tnv", free for the first hour and then paid.
But it's a really well kept place - the outdoor garden seating is warm and inviting. The plants are really well maintained. The servers were sweet and cheerful! Overall, we had a lovely time here!

As a part of our Pärnu trip we chose thia places for our dinner.
We selected 4 different dishes as it was suggested to select more than one and share amon us.
Soup was delicious and rich with ingredients and taste. I enjoyed this the most out of all what we took.
Edited: Then we took Soya ginger pork, it was bit chewy, taste was good, but the sauce did save everything and make it softer.
Tuna with radishes is just that, yes it was fresh, a good snack, but nothing special.
Mussels had a really amazing sauce with them. Altogether it was a good dish. I did finish the sauce together with bread - dipping the bread in the sauce and eating this combo was amazing 😊
Place looks interesting, inside is really beautiful and has some great decorations. Outside is a bit more boring and might be a bit dirty as small birds are leaving their poops every (I saw how one pooped on the chair), but at least there we could sit with our dogs, inside it wasn't allowed.
A cosy fusion spot with a sharing-plate concept, perfect for trying a bit of everything. Delicious, beautifully presented dishes,good drinks selection, and warm, attentive service. Great for a dinner with friends, family or a romantic date night!
A must visit spot. Tasty food (I always take the same beef soup!), warm bread, a very homey atmosphere both inside and of course outside - you’re sitting under a huge apple tree. And still quite affordable after all these years! I always go there when in Pärnu.
By far the best food I had in Parnu, lovingly prepared by a chef who actually cares. Recommended: Lamb sausages & wakame salad. Eclectic atmosphere and cool garden. Well worth seeking-out. Thank you so much.

Jahtklubi Restoran is one of the participating restaurants in Parnu Restaurant Week 2021. The restaurant offers efficient and polite service, with a special mention for arranging wheelchair accessibility and calling a taxi when needed. While some dishes like the Burrata Salad were nice but not exceptional, others like the tar-tar were very good. The food presentation was visually appealing, perfect for Instagram-worthy pictures. However, there were some disappointments with certain dishes.
This is not our first time here and what is very important: the restaurant is always open whenever we are here. This time we had fish soup, liver and pork ribs. Everything was very tasty and beautiful. They also brought wonderful bread with whipped butter. Special thanks for the liver and water for our corgi). Great!

The service was super slow. Slower than what I have come to expect in Estonia. But they were very friendly, so still gets 4 stars. The seafood options were really so good and fresh. And the garlic toast was absolutely divine. The sunset viewing added to our delights.
Loved everything! Food was excellent as well as the service. There’s a lovely area for children with a play kitchen, a climbing wall and some other toys.
Good food, however service took forever. We had to ask 3 times for our food. Very beautiful views, Cozy atmosphere. Menu isn't big but all dishes tasted great. My perch was perfectly seared, lamb fillet weren't chewy, however more on rare side.

Some of the food was very good, some was a bit dissapointing.
While Burrata Salad was nice and burrata fresh but not "wow", the tar-tar was very good. It all came with very nice design that just calls for "food-Insta-pics" :)

Wheal was very good and desert of minipancakes was nice as well.
When staying in Pärnu, we almost always dine at the yacht club restaurant. The service was fast, caring and friendly. The dish of the day was unfortunately nothing special, but the dessert and coffee were excellent
I grew up in Pärnu and can recommend the restaurant with confidence! Amazing food, great value, stunning views, friendly service. Have a coffee when on a walk, or lunch with family, or romantic dinner - it is suitable for anything really and all year round.
