It was an amazing experience! It wasn't crowded at all since we went there late this season. The animals where calm and it seemed like they were well looked after. I would totally come back again!

The animal park exceeded our expectations. Very family friendly, lots of open space and a really nice environment to be in. It’s very easy to get around, there’s lots of animals to watch and learn more about and there are some nice playgrounds and green common areas too. Our 2 kids of 9 and 12 really enjoyed it too.

If you have time you should go! And an stray bonus, you are allowed to take your dog inside too. I never seen a zoo in Germany allowing dog!

The place is very pleasant. There is a kids play ground in the back which is a great break for the parents. Food is OK (unfortunately all fish choices are breaded but for the fish soup which is small but good). Staff is semi-bored to serve but not unfriendly. Great place for a coffee and a waffle. We had the one with cherries which was delicious. The service was very nice and the facilities very clean. We were not very lucky with the weather but during sunny days it’s likely great to sit outside.

The staff were lovely and attentive but the food was truly bad. Half of the chips were frozen and food arrived within 2 minutes of ordering which you’d think is fast service but actually a red flag. Play area for kids is nifty and sweet. But the food quality is poor and overpriced.

Very nice and enormous beach. It's clean, easy to reach and has all the amenities you need (restaurants, toilets, bars, beach chairs, lifeguards, dogs beach, kite and surf area, ...). Only downside is the considerable entrance fee for cars as well as per adult, even for walk-ins.

One of the most beautiful beaches that I've ever seen, and probably biggest and most beautiful in Germany. A must place to visit if you love water. The restaurant is expensive, but it makes you feel good to have a drink there. The view is a must to see.

This is just a great place to eat when visiting the beach. We got there with a child stroller during low tide and had to walk back through the water during high tide, which was a fun experience. The food was better than expected and the service very friendly. Recommend.

Guests are sometimes not noticed at all. As soon as a family arrives, they are given priority. More than half an hour passed before someone came to take the order. The atmosphere is more like an ice cream parlour, but the seats outside are really comfortable. I only ordered a vegan cherry latte and the wait was just 10 minutes. The bill came in 30+ minutes after I asked 3 times. Later I ordered a Cappuccino Cannelle and paid directly. Because the wait time was so long I decided not eating here. The coffee was very sweet and tasted a bit like sweet cherry. The service told me that there is no alcohol in it but it tastes like there is some in it. The Cappuccino was perfect! Lovely taste with a note of cinnamon.

Over the top discreet attentive service by formally dressed waitstaff of whom each table seemed to have five or more. Incredible local food and a winelist to die for. Elegance and formalism out of a movie, and yet none were upset by our "pack light for Europe" clothing which did NOT include a jacket or tie. At first I felt out of place, but the staff made us feel welcome. Only go here to make an evening of it with folks you want to talk and linger with. Also, be prepared to spend more than you have ever spent for dinner. For those with the means, or who want a special treat, this is the place.
