Hiking area
Arrowhead Provincial Park is a stunning destination nestled in the heart of Ontario, offering a plethora of outdoor activities for nature enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy the picturesque lake with its inviting beaches, explore numerous hiking trails, and marvel at a captivating waterfall. The park also provides campsites for those seeking an immersive outdoor experience and offers equipment rentals for added convenience.
One of the best provincial parks we visited. We came here in the summer for camping and the campgrounds are excellent. We cam in the winter and stayed in a cabin, which was awesome and very cosy. We visited for a hike in the fall and loved the trails and the waterfalls. Most recent time we visited for cross country skiing in early February. The trails are so well groomed, probably the best I've seen. We also enjoyed skating on the ice loop. Any time of the year this park was inviting and a lot of fun for the family and friends. You can rent skis and skates in the park if you don't have any and the rental equipment is fairly new and we'll maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Very beautiful provincial park that we visited this saturday to see fall colors. You need to have a reservation beforehand to enter into the park. There are two lakes Mayflower and arrowhead. I loved the latter one for its beautiful view and ability to do kayaking in it. There is a beautiful huge visitor center with ample parking on site. The lake is just behind that. Lot of campsites, so it's definitely a good contender for summer/ early fall camping. The big bend lookout here is famous, and it's a splendid view in peak fall colors. There is a brown bridge over Arrowhead Lake that enhances its beauty, and you can capture really good photos there. Trails are nice. Washrooms were clean. We spent our weekend well.
Prashant B — Google review
In general, the park is great. It has a couple nice lakes & small rivers to paddle on. Some nice hiking trails and even a couple trails designated for mountain biking. Tried it all and enjoyed it thoroughly. However when it rained, our campsite, as well as our neighbour’s site became a pond; and not just a little area. This should not be happening nowadays. There’s a beautiful visitor centre.

Came here for the fire and ice! The weather was unforgiving but the atmosphere was great! We had lots of fun with the ice and snow! I loved the fresh snow here. We managed to do cross-county skiing as well as day and night skating! I loved that they had skating helpers.
Reigner F — Google review
Great Provincial Park in Huntsville that has a multitude of hiking trails ranging from 150m and up. From the moment you cross the park boundary until you get to your site you can’t help but constantly stare in amazement at natures wonder. Granite rising above the ground level and creeks and lakes offering hours of exploration. You’ll feel like you’re the first to view the sights and sites. Mayflower Lake & Arrowhead are both amazing lake to canoe , kayak or hike around. The Big Bend-only 159 meter walk to this sight from the parking lot. Find out how Oxbow Lake was formed. Stubbs Falls cuts it’s way through the Canadian Shield as it descends. I have completely enjoyed myself here this fall and shall return for winter events like FIRE & ICE.
Waito C — Google review
Arrowhead Provincial Park is now in my list of top 5 provincial parks. Arrowhead in the Fall is awesome. The colors, hiking, biking and camping are excellent. I highly recommend this campground and I'm planning future trips to experience the winter and summer activities. Maybe we will try a cabin next time.
David F — Google review
We had a great time. Campsites are spacious, clean washrooms, and showers. Unfortunately, it was raining the two days out of three that we were there. We did some bike riding and took some pictures. Beautiful park.

Each path offers a unique perspective of the park’s vibrant flora and fauna, allowing you to truly appreciate the tranquility and allure that surrounds you. Affogato Cafe + Gelato is a coffee shop and gelato shop in Huntsville, Ontario, that offers sweet treats like candy cane affogatos and gingerbread cappuccinos alongside their regular caffeinated drinks. The cafe also sells packs of truffles, making it the perfect spot for chocolate lovers in the area.
Excellent mocaccino and hot chocolate! The loaded brownie was good too but I wish it was offered to us to warm it. I think it would be nicer. Overall a cute, cosy place.
Orla C — Google review
Amazing service, the Cafe smells great, the coffee, ice creams, Pastries are amazing along with their hand crafted choclates. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. I was camping in algonquin and wanted to try something on the way, and that's where we went, fortunately. I am definitely going back again the next time I pass by.

Exceptional Affogato & Warm Service by the Waterfront Affogato Espresso is a hidden gem just steps from the waterfront…. perfect for a mid-day treat or a relaxing break by the lake. I visited two days in a row and was impressed both times. On my first visit, I ordered the hazelnut affogato, and on the second day, I tried the Baileys flavor. Both were excellent 🙂 the espresso was bold and well-balanced, pairing beautifully with the creamy, high-quality ice cream. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, with a clear attention to detail in both presentation and service. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the young woman scooping the ice cream—her warm and upbeat attitude really stood out and added a personal touch to the experience. Whether you’re a coffee lover or simply looking to try something unique near the waterfront, Affogato Espresso is definitely worth the stop. Great quality, friendly service, and a charming location , highly recommended.
Alexandrae P — Google review
Such a nice variety of treats! Excellent ice cream and pastries. We also tried the affogato, it was very good. Service was friendly.

Stopped in Huntsville and wanted a nice coffee - popped in here and ordered an iced latte, and it was $8.65. The latte was good, nothing show stopping, but I noticed they had no size options and no prices for the coffee on their menu. The size of the latte was too big for what I prefer so I didn’t even finish it, so I am disappointed in their lack of price clarity and size options. If I’m going to spend over $8 on a coffee, it better be incredible. Seems way overpriced for what it is.
Emma F — Google review
Came here for the gelato and the pastries, and they delivered! Their selection of gelato changes regularly, with varied flavours that were all delightful. They were happy to let us sample until we were sure of what flavour we got, and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! Their pastries are buttery and flaky, and the coffee was refreshing. We went on Wednesday and just had to come back on Friday because we couldn't stop thinking about the gelato. Definitely will stop by when in the area!
Maire M — Google review
Absolutely worth the wait! The Super Ice Cream Barge by Affogato only comes to Deerhurst once a week — but wow, it’s worth it every time! The ice cream is incredibly fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. You can really tell it’s made with love and top-quality ingredients. The person serving is always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. You feel like more than just a customer. Only downside? We wish it came more often! But maybe that’s what makes it feel so special every week. Highly recommended if you’re anywhere near Huntsville! Don’t miss it.
Lukas S — Google review
I understand that this is a touristy place and higher prices are expected. However, using cups with raised bottoms to reduce the amount of ice cream that will fill-in is a bad business practice and completely unethical. The bottom of the cup was so raised that I could fill wood chips in the bottom of the cup when turned upside down (see images). I felt cheated 👎🏼. I will never visit this place and not recommend it at all. It’s unfortunate some business will come down to this level. On a side note, service was good and ice cream was served with a smile. I hope other stuff was served better and was value for money.

Lookouts
Lions Lookout in Huntsville, the largest city in Muskoka, is a popular spot offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and the city below. It's renowned for its stunning fall foliage, making it one of the best fall lookouts in Muskoka. The lookout is not only a great place to admire autumn colors but also serves as a starting point for scenic hikes. Despite being crowded at times, visitors can escape by exploring other viewpoints scattered around the hilltop.
This is a great lookout to see the city. The winding ride up the mountain was worth the effort and quite enjoyable. There is a gazebo at the top and plenty of spots to picnic. Parking is limited. The people are friendly. Take the time to read the etching on the rocks and gazebo. Whether for romantic date or family excursion, this is the spot.
Baldo M — Google review
Beautiful lookout, nice city view, river and the forest behind. Fall Colors where wonderful. Parking is tight on weekends. There is one parking lot on to and one at the bottom for those who done want to hike.
Thejus — Google review
You don't need to purchase advance tickets to visit this place. It's free for entry and open 24 hours. You drive all the way upto the lions lookout point on the top of the hill. Their is a small parking place on top. You can also find parking lot at the entrance of the hill near lookout sign. However, I recommend drive all the way to top if you wanna skip 1km steep hike Breathtaking Fall Views at Lions Lookout is a Must-See in Huntsville! 🍁 . If you're anywhere near Huntsville in the fall, a trip to Lions Lookout is an absolute must. I visited during peak foliage season, and the views were nothing short of magical. The entire landscape was painted in vibrant shades of red, orange, and gold — it felt like stepping into a postcard! The lookout offers a panoramic view over Fairy Lake, the Muskoka River, and the town of Huntsville, all framed by rolling hills ablaze with autumn color. Whether you're a photographer, nature lover, or just out for a peaceful walk, this spot won’t disappoint. The short hike to the top is a bit steep, but it’s well worth the effort. There are benches to rest along the way and once you reach the top, the scenery makes it all worthwhile. It’s also a great place to watch the sunset over the colorful treetops. **Tip:** Try to go on a clear day for the best visibility, and bring a camera — you’ll want to capture this view. Highly recommend visiting during the fall. It’s one of the most beautiful places in Muskoka to experience the changing leaves! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Sirish C — Google review
Really nice when you got up to the top, you can drive up and park there where space are still available or park below and hike up to the lookout (shuttle train in summer months). Be sure to check out the scenery in various directions; beautiful view of Huntsville and Fairy Lake especially in the fall.
DY L — Google review
Worth the hike. DONOT take your car up but park at the community centre there, if you don’t hike, you miss the on road fall wonders. Most beautiful pictures ever taken there by us. Will visit again and again. It’s a free point, no ticket required.
Dr. B — Google review
A great lookout for Fairy Lake and Huntville downtown. Spectacular view in the Autumn. Parking is limited on the top. It is better to park at the foothill and take a stroll to the top
John P — Google review
Do NOT go on a weekend 💀 The traffic was from the bottom of the hill to the top parking lot We luckily made a U-turn and parked somewhere else near by and made the walk up the hill which I wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues or seniors When I left to walk down the hill people were still in traffic going up the hill that I recognized when I was walking up, they didn’t get very much farther along. The actual viewing area is very over crowded. View is decent.
Alice — Google review
Lion’s Lookout is a lovely spot with great views over Huntsville, but be prepared for some parking challenges—especially on holidays or long weekends. The parking lot at the top can get quite crowded and there’s often a bit of traffic going up. If you don’t mind a short uphill walk, parking at the Heritage Place lot is a good alternative—it’s not far, though the slope is a bit steep. Funny enough, it always seems to be cloudy or rainy whenever I visit, so I haven’t seen the view on a perfectly clear day yet—that’s my little regret. Still, Huntsville is such a charming town that I always enjoy coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Muskoka, the Muskoka Ski Club - Hidden Valley offers a variety of winter activities for visitors. With 13 trails, including a terrain park, and lessons for all ages, it's an ideal destination for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. In addition to winter sports, Huntsville also provides opportunities for cross-country skiing, skating at Arrowhead Provincial Park, and exploring snowmobile trails.
I’ve put my kids in Hidden Valley’s winter break 4-day ski camp for 3 years now and am beyond impressed with how amazing this program is. For new / beginner skiers they work at a 1:1 ratio, so it’s essentially 16hrs of private lessons. I want to shout out Dare who has worked with my daughter all week. He is calm, patient and professional. His positivity and enthusiasm has been influencing my daughter all week and her love for the sport will be a direct result of this. Thank you & we will see you again next year!

Just a lovely place to ski. Every single person working there is kind and patient and helpful. From the till to the rentals to the instructors to ski patrol.

It's a hidden gem! Perfect for family outings! Great friendly staff and very accommodating - by phone or in person. First visited in 2013 during the holidays season and been going ever since and made it a Family tradition!

Had a great vacation here over March Break. The restaurant was yummy. We didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that. The rooms were clean and ours was quite spacious. The pool is small but adequate. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It's a great location for getting to outdoor outings and also visiting Huntsville attractions. I would stay here again.

I had a blast at Hidden Valley. The staff were very kind and courteous. They have a variety of green, blue and black hills for you to ski on. The great thing when we were there, the day was gorgeous and it wasn’t too crowded. Which meant short lines for the lifts. The next time I’m in Huntsville, I’ll be sure to check them out. The place can be a little tricky to find, so just have a little patience if you’re going there for the first time.

I love Hidden Valley. It’s where I’ve learned to ski and I am so happy each time I visit. I visited over reading break this year in February and it was amazing. I love the design — the lodge where you can sit and enjoy refreshments while watching the hill. The speedy lifts and intuitive planning. They also play fantastic music. When I visited I had forgotten to book rentals and was crestfallen after discovering that there were no rentals available that day. Fortunately, thanks to Chrissy and Jen I was able to have my day on the hill, and I even got to take a lesson too. Employees go above and beyond here, and it shows. Thank you for all the fantastic experiences and dutiful service to your customers. You have a loyal and enthusiastic customer here, I am counting the days until next season. Thank you!
Sara G — Google review
Found this gem up in north with great design trails. Very beautiful and quality of snow is great. They have many lift and slope to choose from according to the skill level. This place is must visit for your upcoming trip.
Smit A — Google review
This is a great ski area. Every service representative I met is very patient and friendly. I also like that the rental shop focuses on the safety details. In a busy area, they put a protection cover on the shelf to prevent people from bumping into it. Last but not least, the restaurant on the site provides delicious food, and the Reuben sandwich is a must-try food.

That Little Place by the Lights is a small, family-owned Italian restaurant in Huntsville that serves pizza and pasta, as well as gelato and espresso. The food here is traditional and hearty, with dishes like lasagne, gnocchi, and pizza being some of the most popular items on the menu. The atmosphere at That Little Place is warm and inviting, making it perfect for a night out with friends.
This is a great restaurant with a very lovely patio at the back overlooking the docks. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly, courteous and fast. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Small cozy family style Italian restaurant. We were seated near the back. Ordered the arancini for the app and specials of the day butternut squash ravioli and the chicken parm with risotto. Rice balls were nice and hot. My favorite was the yellow risotto cooked with saffron. Creamy and tasty. The butternut squash ravioli had decent flavour. Service was OK. The pop seems to be from a fountain machine. They also provide bread for you to dip with olive oil and balsamic vinegar

Their seafood pasta surprised and delighted me. Usually, tomato sauce pasta tends to be a bit watery and thin, but their seafood pasta was done really well. The pizza is good too. It's busy. We waited for 20 minutes.

Very beautiful place. Could have given more stars if I could. The food was fresh and light. The staff was wonderful and lovely. The pizza sauce was sooo good !!!
Suparno K — Google review
So disappointed in this restaurant and really not sure why it’s getting 5 star reviews. I can only chalk it up to it being in Huntsville with limited dining options. If you are Italian “you gotta NOT eat here”. The lasagna tastes exactly like Chef Boyardee not even a lie. The Primivera pasta was trash. Puréed vegetables at best. Seafood linguine had over cooked shrimp and no clams. It’s all over priced slop. Waitresses and waiters are very convincing in their sales approach but don’t believe the hype! Do not go here if you’re a true foodie. You’ll leave angry. Go somewhere else. Trust me

Family-owned diner serving up traditional comfort foods and pizza in a comfortable setting, Family Place is revered for its friendly service and quality food. With regularly rotating menu options, Family Place is a popular gathering spot for locals, travellers, and seasonal residents alike.
We dropped in her for lunch. I ordered the chicken wrap with a soup $19 and my husband ordered the chicken tenders and the cream of broccoli soup $17. The food was delicious. The wait time wasn’t long. The server was friendly. The only thing i didn’t like was the wooden benches. They were not that comfortable,

Ambiance food service everything was good. I ordered their chef special Salmon and pasta. also ordered a all veggies balsamic flavour Pizza. The portion of the salmon and pasta and Pizza was good. It was bit overpriced will rate it 4.5 Stars. They have got good outside siting too.

This is one of the best local family restaurants I've come across. If you're tired of overpriced all-day breakfast places where you feel like just another customer, then try this place. The staff and patrons are friendly, food fresh and well prepared. Try the eggs and bacon with home fries and rye toast. Coffee is bottomless. We made new friends even in the parking lot.

Stumbled upon this fantastic little mom n pop restaurant and it was amazing. Very friendly & courteous staff, great food at reasonable price. The dinners we had were turkey with mashed potatoes and steak with roasted potatoes, which were prepared perfectly. Would absolutely return on our next pass thru Huntsville!

On a girl trip to muskoka, decided to go for breakfast here. It was very busy, a lineup waiting for tables! The staff offered to make up a table outside for us to sit at, which was our preference! The staff was amazing, so friendly! The food was amazing as well! I would come back here time and time again! Always support small businesses!

Happened to stop here for lunch while passing through Huntsville. It was so busy with locals flowing in for a lesiure Sunday lunch. You can tell without a doubt it's a local favourite. We tried the cheeseburger pizza since we were in the mood to try something different. The pizza was great, the pizza sauce was delicious. Just wish they were a little more generous with the toppings, just a tad bit more would have been great. They also have a bakery attached to it with delicious looking treats which we didn't try. We did however try the small batch hot sauce that they stock which was also delicious and just that right amount of heat and sourness from the vinegar. They also have a dog friendly patio outside with a large umbrella to shade you on a hot summer day.

Nestled in a charming century-old house with stunning views of Hunters Bay, Tall Trees Muskoka is a delightful dining destination that offers an exquisite blend of European and global cuisine. This genteel restaurant prides itself on its exceptional service and diverse menu, featuring everything from succulent steaks to comforting poutine, as well as unique dishes like escargot and Thai specialties. To complement your meal, the multi-award-winning wine list adds an extra touch of sophistication to your dining experience.
Beautiful dinner for two! Friendly hosts, attentive servers and fast service. Food quality was excellent, boasting strong flavours and carefully crafted dishes. Of note, the BBQ ribs, beef tenderloin and Bao were wonderful. The Empire cocktail tasted and smelled deliciously like a rustic campfire. Will plan to return to try the French onion soup, pesto pasta, and deep fried butter tarts. A very nice touch that one of the owners came to the table to inquire about service and experience.

What a gem!!! There aren’t any complaints from me, that is for sure. The ambiance was amazing! The service impeccable and the food…well, it’s hard not to give it a 5+!!!! The portions were generous, the infusion of flavours were spectacular and overall seriously, top notch! I think their deep fried butter tart is one of my most favourite deserts ever! I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a one of a kind meal.

We finally made it to tall trees we have been excited to try out this restaurant for a while but getting all the kids together has been a challenge. We decided to go for our daughter's birthday. We were greeted and shown our table within a few min. We ordered our drink and meals within 15 min and waited over 45 min for our food. When the food finally came out the person we went to dinner for "birthday girl " food did not come out for another several min. They were definitely overwhelmed that evening but Christine the manager came over and made things right. I was very impressed with her professionalism and gave us a resolution that made us all happy. I am totally for supporting local business and we will be back because the service was great and Christine made it right.

Went here for our 10 year wedding anniversary as we had heard such great things. We were NOT disappointed! The service was amazing. Our server Jay was friendly, attentive and so nice. Our food was incredible! The price point here is a bit higher, but for good reason. The food came in a timely manner, we were served large portions and it was delicious! It was a Friday night and the place was busy which took away a little bit from the quiet vibe we were hoping for, but honestly everything else was so great it was worth it. Will definitely be recommending this place.

The old charm of the building, paired with an impeccable service gave us a good impression from the minute we put a doot inside. But the food won our heart. Our compliments to the chef! The Bao sandwich was light and full of flavors. The risotto was exquisite and the curry a real delight. And if the experience wasn’t already more than what we expected, we ordered desserts and fell hard for the creme brulee/tiramisu (a nice twist on the original) and the heavenly lemon square! Thank you to our kind waitress, Cody :)

Couldn’t recommend more! Fantastic service and delicious food, tasted multiple dishes shared with others in my party. Waitress was very attentive even over the long weekend.

Posting this as a review for Tall Trees catering, rather than the restaurant itself. My wife and I hired Tall Trees to cater our wedding, which took place at a private residence in Huntsville in early September. Tall Trees (the restaurant) has been a favourite of my wife and her family for some time, and we were very excited when they were available. At every step throughout the process, Tall Trees was wonderful: communicative, easy-going, and very organized. They provided appetizers during the cocktail hour, a three-course dinner (a beautiful caesar salad, salmon or short rib main dishes, and a chocolate cake for dessert), as well as a late-night mac-and-cheese bar. (Attached photo is the short rib main dish.) The food was excellent throughout. All of our guests were (and continue to be) very complimentary about the quality of the food, the generous portions, and the thoughtful presentation. The weather was not particularly cooperative in early September, and our wedding was not without its administrative hiccups. Despite this, each and every Tall Trees team member was kind and self-assured, and they made us (and our guests) feel cared-for and loved. The quality of the ingredients, the taste of the dishes, the friendly service, the portions: every component of the catering exceeded our expectations, and we feel that we got an incredible amount of value for the money that we spent. Tall Trees made our wedding feel extraordinarily special, and we will look back on their food with fondness and gratitude for years to come. Highly recommended!

Eclipse Restaurant is a great place to enjoy a good meal with friends and family. The views of the lake are stunning and the food is delicious. David, the host, was very polite and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly.
Great selection of delicious food. Buffet on summer nights theme. The servers were knowledgeable and very helpful. Sat outside on the terrace with a view of the lake and hillside.

I can’t speak to non Valentines meals but the prix fixe dinner they served us on Feb 14 was incredible. Cedar planked arctic char with creamed Brussel sprouts was perfection and my gf really enjoyed the beef tenderloin with potato au gratin. The two layer beet shooter was a unique app and the dessert was top notch although my gf found the aftertaste a bit too flowery and soapy. Excellent and attentive and friendly service as well.

Went for dinner and it was not your typical buffet. Smaller selection of food but everything was great. They have definitely focused on quality food over quantity. Constantly replenishing everything and keeping food fresh. Services was also great and we were seated next to the window so our view was beautiful. Only thing is, the space is tight for the amount of people and tables which made it hard to get up to get food. Could have been the fact that is was the long weekend though.

We have had several meals here during our stay. Everything is renovated and updated. Very clean and modern. Very good food! Really enjoyed it. Breakfast is alright. Dinner is very good! We had a reservation on the Friday and it was fairly dead. Decided to try without a reservation on Saturday and no luck for an indoor table. Highly recommend a reservation.

We talked to the chef about our dietary restrictions and he well accommodated and made amazing dishes I was completely satisfied with all the dishes. All the dishes were nutritious and tasty would definitely recommend to try their wonderful vegan dishes as well. Only thing I would suggest is I was looking for more non alcoholic beverages other than that everything was perfect

I have no idea why this place has negative reviews. We had reservations at 5pm and were promptly seated. Christine M. was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. The food at the buffet was fresh and delicious. My husband and I don't usually eat roast beef but it was very juicy so we had seconds. The desserts were amazing and there were many choices. The view was spectacular overlooking the scenic landscape, we're so glad we didn't listen to the negative reviews and tried it out for ourselves. We eat out at restaurants quite a lot and don't usually eat at buffets but were impressed by the choices and the quality, so impressed we booked reservations for breakfast. Thanks again!

Day 2

Northeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Muskoka Heritage Place. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Huntsville by visiting Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve, just a short drive away. The reserve offers free public access to a variety of stunning trails, including the Solitaire Lake Trail which provides breathtaking fall views. With over 70 kilometers of trails, this nearly untouched wilderness is perfect for hiking enthusiasts. Additionally, visitors can enjoy activities such as disc golf and even stay in beautiful cabins like River's Bay with luxurious amenities like a jacuzzi.
Beautiful hidden gem in Muskoka. Limberlost offers several different types of accommodations, from camp sights (almost all had tent pads and private out houses) to cottages and unique "outposts" offering private and serene stays. We stayed on buck south, all the sites are steps from water and next to trails. The trails are well-maintained and easy to follow. They also have periodic rest stations. You will need to bring water! Great swimming and paddling, canoes can be rented cheaply and for $20 you can have them delivered to your site or a close launch pad. Really can’t recommend this enough, and they often have available spaces unlike most provincial parks. Great for day trips too.

This place seemed great at first — very scenic and peaceful. I camp a lot, so I understand that wildlife is part of being in the woods. However, our site (Lee North 16) was infested with mice. They were under the wooden platform, all around the site, and even got into our tent. We’re careful with food storage, but they were everywhere. We ended up packing up and finding a place down the road because I didn’t want them chewing through my tent or having crawl over me in my sleep. Also, be aware that they don’t offer refunds, so book at your own risk. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The campsites inside the park are much better maintained.

Absolutely stunning and explorable place! Limberlost Forest is a hidden gem in Ontario. The place with peaceful, scenic, and full of beautiful trails surrounded by lakes and wildlife. It’s an amazing spot for hiking, photography, and exploring nature. You’ll also come across some old private houses built many years ago, which add a unique charm to the experience. The trails are well-marked, clean, and offer a good mix of difficulty levels. Perfect for anyone who loves outdoor adventures and quiet moments by the water. Highly recommend visiting!

Eastall 3. Very private site. On a dead end road with 2 other sites on the lake but lots of distance between. A little swampy but site was well maintained and close to it's natural state; few trees cleared, very shady with direct access to the water and you can park your car right in front of the site. Park was well maintained, lots of hiking trails. We did the one advertised canoe route from Buck Lake to Crystal Falls (15k round trip). Portage routes are decent, couple of push-throughs, dock on Poverty lake was a little sketchy. Crystal falls portage wasn't maintained, lots of fallen trees over trail, not sure if it has been maintained in a few years. Campground is a little more rustic than most parks - no comfort stations, potable water available at main office (15 min drive), lots of driving involved in general (15 min to most popular trail heads, 10 min drive to Buck Lake canoe route) but you're truly in the middle of nowhere so it's understandable. Would recommend, will visit again.

Amazing time camping! The campsites are all large and private, it was so fun. The trails and lakes are gorgeous, and the water is so clean. The outhouse is well maintained. I enjoyed my time and the sights and sounds of Limberlost. Definitely recommend this campsite for avid campers, I want to go back!!
Erica L — Google review
Little known fact: Limberlost allows day visitors to hike its trails and canoe its lakes. You need to register on entry. The accommodations seemed good, from camping to cabins -- perhaps we'll return for a stay. The trails are well maintained and feature different environments, views of lakes, and interesting terrain. Most are intermediate difficulty, with many roots and ups-and-downs.

Treetop Trekking Huntsville offers an exciting outdoor adventure for all ages, allowing visitors to explore the forests in a unique way. Participants can climb through the trees, swing from ropes like Tarzan, and zip through the canopy on thrilling zip lines. The courses include wooden bridges, cables, and various obstacles that provide a challenging yet enjoyable experience. It's recommended to wear closed-toe shoes and bring bug repellent due to the trek to the location and presence of mosquitoes.
My kids and I had a really great time here. The course is in great shape and the safety system is excellent. A big shout out to the staff who went above and beyond to help my youngest who had a hard time with one of the zip lines. One of the staff members even took him on one of the easier courses to help build back up his confidence. It was really appreciated!

We had a great time at Treetop. All of the staff seemed happy, friendly and talkative. The property is pretty nice and it's relaxing to be up in the trees in the forest. The zip lining is definitely the best part. As long as you follows all the rules and listen to instructions, it's very safe and I wouldn't worry at all about it. Seems good for kids as well, we saw family's with all ages.

Call before you go to make sure they are open! I'll explain: I checked their website and Google listing before making a long drive to participate in the trekking with my family and it was listed as open. Other families with young kids were leaving when I arrived Upon arrival the staff member informed us that the business is closed to the public for three weeks due to summer campers. I asked if they could squeeze us in and they said no. It is possible to put on Google Business "temporarily closed" or ammend hours so that the public can easily see that it is not open for them. I encourage the managers and owners to solve this problem for the remainder of the summer and future seasons. I look forward to trying again next year and I will call first.

Went with the family and some friends on the side-by-side ATV trek. Amazingly fun. Driving the ATVs through the forests was a blast. Lots of mud due to the rain this year. Our guide Mike was awesome. Very knowledgeable and made the ride very fun. Would do this again for sure!

Woww such an AMAZING way to spend 3 hours having crazy fun ANDDDD a a great physical workout !! I did this with my girlfriend yesterday , but next time we are gonna bring a bunch of friends and make it a group activity !! The staff are the most friendliest and nicest I’ve ever met , and they are also so professional and on top of everything. Bring running shoes and gloves (otherwise you WILL burn your hands on the ropes) and a bunch of water bottles because you’re gonna get real thirsty!!

We had our wedding photos taken here and it was a beautiful backdrop. Staff was fantastic to work with and everything went smoothly, excellent experience. We have also visited here several times with our kids and families and we always have a lovely time.

Muskoka Heritage Place is a beautiful step back in time rich with history and charm at every corner. Even though the train ride wasn’t running yet for the season, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the heritage building and learning about the history. The staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more special with their stories and warm welcome. Can’t wait to return when the train is running!

Had a great time at Muskoka Heritage Place! The pioneer village was full of charm, and the staff were amazing — an elderly lady kindly gave me a shawl when it got cold. We enjoyed candle making, a scenic train ride, and even spotted a deer. A lovely and memorable visit!

Perfect place to visit with kids, there are so many cottages from late 1800's. I am surprised by seeing them and how well they are maintained. Another good thing was, there were people who were showing kids on how the stoves were used in past and how people were washing and drying clothes. It is a good experience for kids. They provide a map which you can follow to go through the village and at the same end can ride and enjoy the steam engine train. Must Visit!!!

A well setup historical village, showing how life was like 130 yrs ago in the area. They had great demonstrations and activities for the kids, and we lucked out to have perfect weather. The only suggestion: A lot more selection in the snack bar. As the visit can easily be several hours, it would be great to have more choices for snacks (as I don't think you can bring your own food). Thanks to everyone there who made the visit a great one!

Horrible customer service. There wasn't really any to be honest. We waited in line for almost 2 hours to buy general admission tickets however the staff that were outside the ticket booth did not give anybody in line any direction as to what was going on. I had to ask their staff twice for information and it was only then that they told us that tickets weren't guaranteed for those waiting to buy general admission tickets and that they were only letting 15 people in at a time to buy general admission tickets. At no other point did they offer anyone else standing in line to buy general admission tickets information. When other people asked they just told them "it's first come first serve". Look nobody wants to waste their day waiting in a line and you know exactly how many tickets were allocated towards advanced purchase which means you also know how many tickets left are allocated for general admission pricing per timeslot. However the staff's lack of transparency with this information was not appreciated as we would have happily left earlier instead of waiting with our hopes kept up. I would have rather been told sooner that they didn't have enough general admission tickets. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place, and would not return soley because their customer service is terrible if you are planning to buy general admission tickets. If you do go, it is advisable to buy tickets in advance as I observed they only treated those people who bought advanced tickets with service.

Awesome service even in pandemic. Very eclectic fixed menu ranging from veggie to all meat types including steak and pasta. Lamb ragu is the best in the homemade tagliatelle. The sauce is light and so flavorful. The drinks and cocktails are very awesome for a nice relaxed summer. Highly recommend this at least once!

Start from the entrance, there's lots of surprise to us. First, we were attracted by the house deco and history. We ordered a soup of the day is homemade beef parley which was perfect. A shrimp and watermelon salad and the secret receipt of the sauce are such a perfect match. Another surprise to us was the Duck with squash sauce, sockeye salmon with potato mash, lobster & scallop ravioli, all of them are over expectation, which is fine dining cuisine standard and even higher. The surprise never stops, we chose tiramisu and strawberry shortbread with gelato and whip cream & coffee. Omg, how could they made every single dishes so delicious, well dish presentation? Not only the food is excellent, the service is also excellent. 👍👍 Highly recommend to everyone!!! MUST COME BACK FOR SURE! 😋😋🤗🤗

Absolutely amazing! Stumbled upon this place on my first night in Huntsville and it was so good that I had to go back again before leaving. The service was incredible both times with very friendly staff who make the experience so much more enjoyable. The food was like nothing I've ever had before – the care put into the tuna dish with the freshness of the eggplant puree, artichoke and capers was phenomenal and the duck dish was delicious as well as the rabbit ragu pasta. If in Huntsville you absolutely NEED to put this place on your itinerary, you will not regret it.

The Antler Steakhouse is a high-class, refined place that specializes in local ingredients. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The only downside was that the restaurant could use a bit of an update in terms of decor.
The food was very good! I really enjoyed my meal here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We dined with two young kids so I always appreciate when the service is accommodating of children, like bringing their food earlier, providing colouring sheets or just being nice to them in general. The food itself was great. I ordered the bone marrow appetizer and a steak and lobster dinner. I quite enjoyed both! The location was farther from the resort but the shuttle made it easy to get there. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Deerhurst.

We were able to get a straight forward and easy reservation online during this time of year. There was a Thursday night special and we paid about $56 each for a 3-course meal (plus a mild upgrade). Great deal! It was a busy night, but the general quality of food and service were good. I quite enjoyed my lobster bisque and my husband the mussels, but unfortunately he did not feel great after from the mussels (though they tasted good). I wish my crab cake in the bisque had more texture though. For the mains, I ordered the duck trio, and my husband the AAA strip loin steak entree. I appreciated the acidity from my pickled cabbage (?) and pearl onions. The duck were maybe just a touch overcooked, but were overall flavourful and to standard. Foie gras did not disappoint! I was a little disappointed that the little cheese-potato-yam medley in the cast iron did not have more seasoning. For dessert, I had the chocolate mushroom with the coffee cake base, and my husband the sticky toffee and vanilla ice cream. His dessert was yum! Mine was good and had a nice presentation. The only things are that it could have used more raspberry sauce since there were several dry elements, and the coffee flavour wasn’t as strong as I was hoping. Overall, I would be willing to come back to try another 3-course meal. Especially for the Thursday special! I am willing to accept that the mussel issue was likely a one time thing, and would come back to try other options.

I unfortunately have to give this review. I would say 80% of my experience was quite positive. And due to my crazed hunger, I made a grave mistake but expected some quality assurance. The ambience of the establishment was quite warm, great lighting, fitting decor, and quite spacious. There is no loud blaring music but the sounds of conversations of families on vacation fill the room. My wife and I, decided to do the three course chef's menu that evening and we shared our morsels to maximize the number of dishes we got to try. Every dish despite the food culture of Muskoka, I can't say was seasoned well but that's the area. Looking past the seasoning gripe I have, flavours though not fully expressed are tasty, balanced, and some flavours emphasize the main ingredients well. I would say the highlight of the meal was dessert, steak was cooked perfectly, vegetables were prepared well and the sauces to accompany the dish added a nice balance. Overall despite the lack of seasoning each dish was good and the dessert was beautifully plated and very tasty. I think the fruit for garnish had some drawbacks since it is quite sweet already but from presentation to taste to portions were quite good. The only problem, and partly my fault for not speaking up about it, was the mussels. Unfortunately some of the mussels were bad, I had likely 2-3 closed shells in my bowl, I forced two of them and ate. This was a dumb mistake but also for patrons who may not know how to tell between bad mussels something that shouldn't be overlooked. Unfortunately, I had to take some points off because I did have food poisoning that evening that lasted 12 hours. It wasn't the most severe but it left me unpleasant for my weekend getaway. I would want to try again at some point to edit my review. But I don't think it should deter anyone away, just hope more attention to safe eating will be taken for the future.

A cozy upscale restaurant on Deerhurst resort, reservations recommended. The food is good and very filling - maybe that's because we got the cheese fondue to share before having more heavy items but no regrets. We had a good time with the scallop pasta and steak and took a bit of what remained to go. Drinks were decent as well. Overall nothing really mindblowing, but a good stop if you're at the resort to celebrate something special given it is pretty pricy.

Wonderful meal. Food and service was great. By far the best restaurant at Deer Hurst Resort. Everything was well seasoned and prepared perfectly. If you don't want steak, I had the braised short rib, I would recommend it. I also hear that the onion soup is excellent. This one is on the pricey side so check the menu before you go to make sure it's in your price range. Well worth it if you are looking to treat yourself.
Jesse S — Google review
We didn’t expect much from this restaurant so it did meet our expectations. Even though the staff is super friendly and professional, the food is ordinary but we had to pay over $250 for one dish each. One of them was from the kids menu, the prices of which we find high. It’s good for some special occasion, so we do recommend it. But don’t expect too much, and be ready to pay a high bill.

We came here for a large group dinner. I ordered the Cedar Planked Hokkaido Scallops Carbonara. It was soo beautifully presented and soo perfectly cooked, I could eat this every time I come here. The rest of my friends got steaks of various sizes and types and were equally happy with their choices. I heavily recommend this restaurant to everyone that has a chance to come here. Expensive but soo well worth it!!!

Maple Pub & Patio is a great spot to unwind with friends and enjoy classic pub dishes and refreshing drinks. Whether you're relaxing after a day on the course or looking for a casual lunch, this place has got you covered. The patio offers stunning views, making it an ideal setting for a leisurely meal. While some patrons have noted that the service can be slow during busy times, others have praised the welcoming staff who ensure an enjoyable experience.
Really liked it here. The food is traditional bar/pub food (I highly recommend the wings and fish/chips). The servers are quick and attentive (thank you Jennifer and Lauryn). There’s Guiness on draft (hooray!!). And the view on the back patio cannot be beat! To top things off, there are many lawn activities in the summer, from Tetris to corn hole… Great way to keep the kiddos occupied 😉

You will find this bar/pub patio at the western "activity" end of the main PAVILLION hotel building. Beside the PRO SHOP and being a cheaper eating spot it is QUITE noisy at dinnertime with families with kids. Shout out to MADDY for a lovely conversation which distracted me from the cacophony!!!!

Great location for the Maple Pub, with a nice outdoor area and plenty of seating and booths inside. To be honest, that’s where the good ends. The food is ok at best. We had some pizza that was overly cheesy and greasy with barely any sauce, some burgers that tasted like frozen burgers dropped in a deep frier with nasty, processed cheese and some overdone chicken fingers. The plating looked really good…but the taste and texture was yikes. We do not recommend. Order uber eats to the hotel is our recommendation.

We went for a quick dinner at Maple. It was a warm sunny day, and the patio view was stunning. Our server, Kaelyn, was so welcoming right off the bat and made our first experience here amazing! There was a dance competition that day so the patio was quite busy with large parties of guests coming in to eat. Kaelyn stayed on top of the rush while still checking in and serving us in a timely manner! She paid attention to detail and gave us the inside scoop of her recommendations on the menu, which were delicious choices! The steak was melt in your mouth delicious, and the chicken sandwich was so crisp and fresh - the bacon jam made the sandwich so different from any other. Delicious food, great atmosphere. Best server ever!!!!! :)

Great food and great view! Unfortunately the patio wasn't opened due to rain but highly suggest checking this place out while at the resort.
Lindsay F — Google review
Food was good but over priced for what you get. It's typical pub food quality, similar to what you get at most roadhouse restaurants. The service we got was adequate, we got our food, it was correct and hot. But the tables were sticky. The sticky you get from old tables where the finish is wearing off and water has started to soak into the wood. It's a little off putting when you are trying to eat. The entire restaurant also didn't have a clean feel to it. I'd give it another shot, but I'd want to sit on the patio and enjoy the view instead of sitting inside again.
Jesse S — Google review
Had lunch there during daughter’s dance comp, food were pretty good, we ordered fish & chips, maple burger, poutine fries and chicken fingers. Fish & chips was done well, crunchy and fluffy, burger was good as well. Chicken fingers were little dry, and poutine for some reason cheese curds were not melted, probably gravy wasn’t hot enough. Overall not bad, service was good, food arrived a bit slow.

Excellent place, fantastic view from patio, server was very friendly and informative. Had smokehouse sampler, great portions, excellent! Only downside was went back a few weeks later, drove an hour, website stated they were open till 9pm and they had closed at 4. Very disappointed.

Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm in Huntsville, Ontario is a must-visit destination, especially during the spring. This family-owned and -operated sugaring farm offers a variety of maple products such as syrups, sugar, cotton candies, muffins, barbecue sauce, and mustard. Visitors can explore the sprawling sugarbush and learn about sustainable maple syrup production practices. Despite the pandemic restrictions, visitors can still enjoy their products by ordering from a small table set up outside the store entrance.
Absolutely love this place love the barbecue sauce! Love the maple syrup. They know how to do it right and of course the grand finale the ice cream we will be customers for life.
Richard T — Google review
This is a pretty good maple farm located closer to the Cottage country in Muskoka. It's a family owned 100 acre property that has Maple trees planted on 50 acres of it. They have nice options of light to dark maple syrup varieties available for purchase. The bottles too are in different sizes and types to select from. My favourite part of the visit was the soft ice cream infused with their dark maple syrup served in cups or cones. It was one of the creamiest ice creams that I've had in a long time. A pretty good place to see if you're in the region closer to Muskoka or Huntsville.
Ali R — Google review
A must stop for visitors and locals, alike. Sugarbush Hill is about as authentic as you could want for a maple sugar bush experience. The folks who run it are friendly and welcoming, with a wealth of knowledge about the history and process of making maple syrup. It's worth going anytime, but especially so when tours are open. Be sure to walk away with a sweet treat, you won't regret it.
Adam — Google review
Lovely experience here! The maple ice cream "cremee" and candies are delicious. The trail throughout the woods with the maple trees was very unique. Owners are very friendly and knowledgable. I recommend visiting if you are in the area!

Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm was a nice little farm. Plenty of parking and a shop to buy some of their products. It's also nice to see the history of maple farming on display too. There was a hiking trail, but we didn't have time to go. The maple ice cream was very good.
J C — Google review
Such a great stop. The hiking trail is beautiful with great informational stops along the way. Maple ice cream is to die for and the maple syryp delicious. Worth the stop.
Christelle L — Google review
The Maple Cremee is amazing, very creamy and a subtle maple flavour. The prices on all the products are ridiculous, which granted a small business has its fair share of costs and we end up paying for quality. The customer service was nonexistent and they charge 50¢ for additional spoons which was ridiculous.
S D — Google review
A group of us visited the farm for a Maple presentation and tasting and had a really great time. Tom was super helpful and friendly and gave us a detailed history of maple syrup and how the tapping and boiling process has evolved over time. Super interesting and enjoyable experience. Beautiful farm and beautiful maple syrup!!

The area boasts stunning natural beauty and features natural water slides that visitors can enjoy for an entire day. While the rapids can be intense during high water levels, there are calmer sections suitable for safe exploration. Additionally, nearby stores provide added convenience for visitors.
Great little falls with big views. Can't wait to go back and swim a bit and sunbath perfect place for all of the above.

Born and raised just down the road. Have always loved the scenic dam. Lots of parking now, porta potty, and it's always clean. Most people are very respectful and clean up after themselves.
Susan F — Google review
Stopped here on our way to Port Sydney Beach. It's a cool little area to stop and look at the dam and what they call "falls" It isn't super big or overly involved, with easy access up to the waters edge, so for anyone who like to go exploring, this is a nice little spot. There was a porta potty on site, so that was a nice bonus for the kiddos to use on our excursions.
Jonny S — Google review
Very small, but nice hang out place! It's also a nice community, seems they were setting up for weekend fireworks at the port and collecting donations. Nice place to drop by, if you're going to huntsville side.

We cannot pass these parks on peace, my gran have a weakness for parks, and we're on holiday not in a hurry so we would stop so see could have some fun.
Cheryl F — Google review
EDIT July 2021: The previous park was great, but they have since changed the playground equipment which is no longer as easily accessible for smaller kids. Really disappointed. Previously: This is a great little park for younger kids (toddlers). It has been quiet every time we visit, and everything is easily climable for my 1 year old.

Smaller venue with up close and perfect views from every seat.. Was 2nd last Row Balcony, and felt like 10 rows away... Great acoustics, reasonable drink prices... Great show.

Great spot to experience a summer evening performance. Restaurants near the theatre offer a wide choice of menu items for family, groups, and for those who would care for a quite moment.

Amazing local venue. Intimate setting with good acoustics. Wish there were more events and concerts to attend in off summer months for locals. Worth the drive!
Janice E — Google review
What a nice little venue to watch a show, it’s worth the drive to Huntsville! The only downfall is there’s lots of stairs to climb if you have balcony seating, keep that in mind!
Randy D — Google review
This is a wonderful theatre. Though it's a little small, every row offsets a great view of the stage. The bar before the show offers some of the cheapest drinks in town. The only thing missing is that they don't sell coffee.
Mike B — Google review
What a great intimate venue. My girlfriend and I were there for Choir, Choir, Choir doing Queen on the weekend and had a blast. Parking was found easy and it was nice checking out downtown Huntsville. Would definitely go see another show here.

We were planning to buy tickets and then found out there are free entry vouchers from our hotel. Double check with your hotel in case! Went on the Sunday night with the dog sledding event. Had a great time trying the sleds and eating beaver tails. The sound responsive light exhibits were fun and lovely ambienc overall. Not a big place though, can easily walk through it in 30mins or so. Spent total of 1 hour including waiting in line for the dog sleds

The Brunel Locks, a historic site on the Muskoka River, were built in 1873 and played a crucial role during the logging era. It is one of the last manual locks in Canada, where staff manually control water flow and operate the doors. The area offers a peaceful getaway from busy downtown Huntsville, with benches, walkways, and washrooms for families to enjoy. Visitors can explore the well-maintained grounds with informative signs about its historical significance.
It was a fantastic place with nice view, there is a good concept of leveling the water before opening the locks. Peaceful place and nice benches to sit around the lake view.

The Huntsville Brewhouse is a small batch brewing facility that opened in downtown Huntsville in May of 2018. The brewpub serves locally inspired comfort food and pub staples with craft beer flights on tap.
Honestly, top-notch experience! This place was fantastic — I can’t wait to come back. I’ll absolutely be recommending it to my friends. Our waitress Libby was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. Highly recommend the fried tofu burger — hands down one of the best vegan burgers I’ve ever had. My girlfriend and I are always on the lookout for great breweries and pubs, and with Brewhouse Huntsville, I think we’ve found a new favorite!
Taylor R — Google review
Enjoyed the outdoor patio, the beerlist and flights were great! Found two personal new favourites, however they also had a unique line + cilantro wheat beer (crisp, cool, perfect for summer). The menu had the typical fare; I had the chicken taco which was "good". Server Eden was excellent: attentive, friendly, great suggestions. And got some cans to take home. All around a good experience. Live music many nights, and definitely Friday and Saturday nights = great!
Joyful — Google review
Great spot for some food and drinks, they have indoor/outdoor seating, and the options to choose from are great, they also host some bar games and things of that nature, not much parking nearby but there’s some spots a street or two down. Service was fast, food was great, and atmosphere was splendid, would recommend.
Yassin M — Google review
Located on the Main Street in Huntsville with small outdoor summer patio. No pets. Good menu with some vegetarian/ vegan options. Service is fast and friendly. Good beer selection. Changes seasonally.
Richard W — Google review
We got takeout from here and it was honestly terrible. Can’t speak for the sit down aspect of the restaurant. We got the burger and the Mac and cheese, and within our 5 minute drive home the pasta was ice cold. Additionally it did not come with the breadcrumbs promised and we were served regular fries instead of waffles. The burger was just okay and the pasta was inedible. Would not recommend takeout from this place to anyone.
Cassidy R — Google review
The staff was really nice and friendly! Food portions were good and tasted well. Trout tacos were nice!
Haseeb S — Google review
Our group of 6 ladies enjoyed our dinner. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. It was a Saturday night and there was some nice live music. When we arrived there was a line out the door, so a reservation is recommended. I would definitely go back and suggest to my friends!

Had lunch at the Huntsville Brewhouse today, and it was honestly the best meal we've had in a while. The food was so good! We had the brisket sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich, and we were both blown away by the quality of the food. So fresh and well prepared. The servers were super friendly and the atmosphere was casual and fun. If we hadn't been so full, we would have gone back for dinner. We'll definitely go back.

What a beautiful gem in Huntsville!! Cute family owned place, with a beautiful interiors amidst 100s of unique kettles. I tried their fish and chips, served hot and fresh! Great little place. My only complaint was not enough fries! They were delicious but not enough. I bought a lovely tea pot. The walls are lined with them. Westside has a very warm and friendly atmosphere. We will be back.

Absolutely incredible food and service at this cute diner style restaurant! The 657 teapots in this location was just surreal. The fish was so fresh, we loved it! So very highly recommended for visitors and residents of Huntsville.

I ordered takeout and the experience was good, they were very friendly and accommodating. The actual food was disappointing. I ordered: One 2 piece meal One 1 piece + 1/4lb shrimp Two extra pieces of Halibut The portion sizes were quite small compared to other places, the shrimp was overcooked, but the most disappointing part was the two extra pieces of halibut, I received 1 normal size and the second was extremely small (pictured). I paid an extra $23.99 ($12 a piece) for the extra fish and I’m pretty disappointed that someone would think this was okay to send out.

We had dinner here while visiting Huntsville. The fish and chips were great. We opted for the 1/2 size of fries and coleslaw with our fish. Perfect proportions for us seniors. The clientele was a mix of locals and hockey tournament families. The restaurant was busy, staff were friendly and attentive. Vintage teapots lining the walls are for sale. We British love tea with our fish and chips, so that was a nice distraction while waiting for dinner.

David's General Store Inc. was established to provide convenient access to locally sourced items in the community of Port Sydney. Situated in the center of town, David's General Store serves as a local variety shop that offers a wide range of products, including quality coffee, pastries, groceries, and handmade dumplings. It is a comprehensive destination for all cottage essentials.
This place has amazing snacks and pizza! The more I looked around at all the items, the more I wanted to purchase because everything looked so darn good! I'd recommend David's general store to all my friends. Totally worth the 3 hour drive from Niagara.

I forgot to take a pic of the pizza I ate. I was quite famished so I gobbled it up. I think I came too late in the day, the pizza was rotating for a while but the store was big. There were so many different food items for the secluded town of Port Sydney. I will have to try this again when I'm in the area, there is quite a unique flair to it. The pizza side itself was just ok. I think for an in house made slice it was not bad. The sauce consistency was good, not enough crunch to the crust, it was a bit chewy, but I will have to try it again. Maybe get a whole pie to compare.
Japheth K — Google review
After reading all the rave reviews about David’s iced coffee and his special ice cubes, we had to go in and try for ourselves. It was absolutely delicious and not watered down when the ice melted for dinner. We decided to order pizza and we’re so happy with our order it was delicious the perfect amount Of sauce and crispiness. Our only flaw is that we never got to meet the famous David hopefully next time.

Nestled in a charming house with plank walls and a patio, 3 Guys And A Stove offers upscale classic Canadian cuisine, including breakfast. The menu features dishes with multi-level seasoning and layered flavors, drawing inspiration from various culinary traditions. The restaurant takes pride in its relationships with local farmers and producers, using naturally raised meats, poultry, wild fish, seasonal produce, and honey. Additionally, they have recently introduced an On Focaccia food truck for takeout and pickup orders.
Excellent service food and atmosphere! Waitress was very friendly, food amazing and fresh. I saw some other reviews complaining about the price, but you pay for quality and the portions are huge! I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back. This is the place to stop if you visit Muskoka / Algonquin.

Visited for dinner this past May long weekend with my party of 7. Had high hopes and unfortunately I felt let down - the portions are very small for the high high price point that is charged (they aren’t too far off from Michelin star Italian restaurants in Toronto from a pricing standpoint. I ordered the stuffed shrimp pasta and I would not recommend it. Very saucy and incredibly overdone on the heavy cream. I would suggest opting for their fish or meat dishes instead, the others in my party liked those dishes better. Service was good and atmosphere was nice and upscale.

As soon as you walked in, you’re greeted by the kitchen and the front desk. Introducing myself and talking to the Kitchen, I was referred by the chef to try the lamb shank and which I ordered with a local beverage and I must say it was delicious..
Feed G — Google review
We had a reservation, it was our anniversary. We were brought to our table which was very close to the bar. The decor was tired with a formica tabletop and an oddly shaped booth. The end of the bar was completely crammed with dirty glasses. There was a musty smell. The table was not set. The waitress approached within 5 minutes of us sitting down to take our order, did not ask us if we wanted a drink, we had to ask. She came back with a basket with 4 small buns. No plates, no cutlery. After about 7 minutes I got up and grabbed cutlery and plates from a counter by the wall. The buns were dry and they were served with margarine. The waitress quickly appeared with our drinks and said “you beat me to it” —regarding the plates and cutlery. The Caesar I ordered had only a very small lemon wedge for garnish and no straw. I approached the bar and asked for a straw and was told that straws are not used in the establishment. The Caesar had a thick pepper rim, so it was unpleasant to drink without a straw. I could see the kitchen from where we sat. I saw an order of mussels sitting on the counter. They sat for almost 15 minutes. The waitress finally brought them to us. They were cold and rubbery. The waitress approached and I said they were unacceptable. She became flustered. I stated we would be leaving and cancelling our order as our experience was very dismal to this point. I was very upset as this was meant to be a celebratory dinner for our anniversary and this restaurant was highly recommended to us. I retreated to the parking lot. The waitress brought the manager over to talk to my husband. The manager stated our entrees were ready and he could box them up. My husband declined the offer. The waitress brought the bill for the drinks, the manager said he would take care of it. I just want to clarify that this was a Thursday night, it was not overly busy. There were many empty tables. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Such a disappointment! ☹️

We had such a great time at this restaurant. Our server Tracey was amazing super friendly and on point with everything. I had the short rib and it was phenomenal. My family got the pasta and the lamb shank and everyone was happy with their food. We ended the night with dessert and it was delicious. It was so good we even booked to go back the next day. Definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to.

We always have a magnificent meal here at 3 Guys and a Stove. It's been a few years since we have come but it was just as good if not better than all of the other previous visits! Our server was warm friendly and very attentive. Today we ate on the patio because we brought 2 fur babies and they were extremely accommodating bringing bowls for their food and water. All of the food was magnificently prepared. We started with their signature pumpkin soup has a very inviting flavor profile. For our mains tonight we ordered lamb shank, blackened white fish, stuffed shrimp and the braised beef short rib. All of which were beautifully prepared and the sides were also magnificent including the fresh pasta, rustic style mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, rice and assorted vegetables. Overall this is a fabulous meal with very generously sized portions. This was a perfect dining experience especially after a day of hiking in Algonquin!

3 Guys Muskoka. Highly recommended. Had the Moroccan meatballs / small Caesar salad (it’s huge and amazing) and drinks. Service was outstanding - I forget our servers name - red hair and super friendly. Drinks came fast / apps came fast and dinner arrival was timed perfectly. Restaurant was spotless and didn’t have to wait for a table - end of summer now and it’s quieter. I was last here awhile ago and it’s still a great place to go. It is more than your average spot up here but similar prices to the Keg. Go here. Very very good. You won’t regret it.
Chris C — Google review
We went there because it was highly rated but we found out after the fact that it was just taken over by new owners. The food was below average. Steak was very hard and the flavor was odd and not at all what you'd expect for the price. Vegetables were large chunks of peppers, almost raw red onions and that's about it. Disappointing. Service was ok. Beautiful place inside though. I think they need to revisit their menu and seasoning and how they cook their steaks. Desert was the best part and that's about it. Unfortunately we won't go back and I would not recommend. I hope they make changes cause it's a beautiful restaurant inside.

Day 4

Off the beaten path
For day 4, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Sandhill Nursery. Not quite as popular as Arrowhead Provincial Park, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Outdoor Activities
Muskoka, known for its stunning 9-hole courses and challenging championship golf courses carved from the remarkable granite outcroppings of the Canadian Shield, has become renowned as one of Canada's premier golf destinations. The North Granite Ridge Golf Club, in particular, is an exceptional course with friendly staff and impeccable conditions. The picturesque scenery and varied elevations add to the allure of this extraordinary course.
Favourite course in Muskoka. As a Mary lake cottager I’ve probably played 20+ rounds here over the years and every time it’s still fun, still challenging, still has me pulling out the phone to snap a few pics in nature, and the course is typically in very good or above average condition. Anybody complaining about interactions with course staff or marshals should probably take a look in the mirror. Pace of play is outstanding and waiting around on tee boxes is a rarity. If you're gonna be a hack, just be a hack quickly and you’ll be fine. Otherwise, she’s a wee bit narrow so don’t let your ego get bruised when you shank a few into the woods. One in every 3 or 4 off a tree will somehow miraculously bounce back into play and that alone adds to the experience so just embrace it. Some wicked elevated tee shots on this course. You’re also guaranteed to see some form of Muskoka nature out there; birds of prey and deer and beavers and the whole gamut. It’s a good time. One thing that was a little concerning was the condition of some of the greens this week. They looked to be in better health closer to opening day so I’m not sure what the deal is but hoping the course gets that dialled in for the season. Regardless, great track.
Adam B — Google review
This is tough track, it plays a lot longer than it reads due to the various elevations. Tight treelined fairways with angulated greens. Stunning scenery and of course plenty of deer to see... A must play course, but don't be to hard on yourself.
ParLuxe G — Google review
Our first time golfing at North Granite Ridge. It's a challenging course with exceptionally beautiful scenery. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our dining experience was top notch, sitting on the deck of the clubhouse which looks onto the 18th hole. The food was excellent, the pizza was outstanding, one of the best we've ever had, cooked in an outside pizza oven. We will definitely be back!!
Martha T — Google review
Beautiful course and well worth the Underpar coupon price. Front nine had significant elevation changes whereas the back was flatter. Not a long course but tight/narrow fairways. Our round took us 4 hours. Greens were soft so your chips would land and hold but they were still fast. Great job greens keeping staff! I particularly enjoyed holes 1, 3, 5, 9 and 16. See pics and videos below. I would definitely play this again.
Ryan D — Google review
I’ve played this course many times while away up north. Great conditions, but pace can be a problem sometimes on the weekend. Shot well but the round took over 4.5hrs, a lot of waiting around
Matthew — Google review
Bought the Underpar, which is regularly offered. What a beautiful track! Well maintained with completely asphalted cart paths. Tee boxes are in great shape. Greens are TOUGH! Undulating and cut short enough to frustrate good golfers. The blue tee boxes were tough for a 10 handicapper. Do yourself a favour and play the forward tees. Loved this course!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at North Granite Ridge, now listen I don’t often golf. My husband loves it. We go down to the cottage with the grandchildren and my husband golfs all day. After a long day of golf we built up an appetite. And I must say, it was an exceptional culinary experience! From the moment I sat down, I was enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing meal, and the service was attentive and friendly. The food was the highlight of the evening. Each dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The chef clearly has a passion for quality, I demanded to meet the chef and I was told that it was two teenage kids working. Congratulations to you lovely kids who not only are working but with passion. I will definitely be returning! I was so satisfied I left a big tip and will definitely be returning. GET THESE AMAZING, KIND, HARDWORKING CHILDREN A RAISE!!!

This place was absolutely beautiful. I was passing through and decided to stop not knowing much about the place. It was set up for Halloween with many activities for kids and a beautiful garden to stroll through with painted local art and designs made of pumpkins and hay bails. Many opportunities for photos. They had a cute little cafe as well as lots of items for sale. We had a lovely afternoon strolling through this nursery. The best part was there was no fee. That is hard to find these days. They were accepting donations for hospice.

I love this place! We've been coming to Sandhill Fall festival every year for 3 years now. Amazing attraction, maze, kids activity, food trucks and well decorated pumpkin patch🤎🧡💛 So much to do here plus it's free admission and free parking. I encouraged everyone who's coming here to share donations for the Hospice Huntsville. Enjoy and share love!

First of all, thank you for setting up this whole place so beautifully and making it admission-free! 🥰 The lovely old ladies that welcomed us were the sweetest and cutest. They gave proper instructions as to what the place offered and gave us a map which was helpful to navigate the grounds. The maze was honestly our favourite part. But honestly, gotta also give it to the people that decorated this whole place so nicely. I mean the effort they put in was amazing. Definitely a great place to spend time with family and friends! Highly recommend!!! When we went there were still some work being done, but we still enjoyed it—this place would be even better at night or like sunset and when the pizza stall opens up; it was still closed when we went.

We’ve been meaning to check out this nursery for sometime. An absolute gem. Spectacular fall set up!! Everything was thoughtfully planned out and very well organized. Lots of photo ops and exhibits, plus pumpkins galore (for sale and for photos). The best part was that it was free (we did make a donation to Huntsville Hospice). Looking forward to revisiting during the different seasons.

Been there last Thursday. Being a weekday, right before the long weekend, it was less crowded and entire parking lot was all ours. Had a wonderful Fall day with the family. So many photo ops and bonus was the little restaurant with outside dining. Got so many beautiful pics. Some of my friends thght they r AI generated pics. 😀 Edit: Halloween play area setup was outstanding. We voluntarily donated after seeing their efforts.

A wonderful afternoon spent in full fall colour's! Lots of pumpkins, mums, and fall decorations - at great prices. Lots for kids to do - a maze and a playground, for example. You can also buy coffee, snacks, lunch. There is lots of parking but be prepared to park far away.

This business is so well managed and run. We repainted our house and moved pictures around. We needed to get a better non-reflective glass on one and we ended up with a plane of museum quality put on. Exceptional glass! This week we'll be back with a 70 year old oil painting for cleaning. We've got a lot of faith in this business.

Fun park on the water near downtown Huntsville. just seconds walk from the main street.. there are some play structures for kids but also lots of docks to enjoy the water and watch boats go by. There are tons of restaurants adjacent to it.. Boston Pizza with fantastic patio on the other side of the River, On the Docks Pub that overlooks the docks and the river, or you can get a Gelato from Affogato cafe and enjoy it on the docks.. relaxing place.. but gets very busy. Also parking is limited so you might have to park up the road and walk back down.

Nestled in the heart of Huntsville, The Mill On Main is a vibrant Canadian bar and grill that beautifully marries delicious cuisine with local artistry. This charming eatery not only serves up an impressive menu featuring everything from pizzas and tacos to hearty steaks and fish n' chips, but it also doubles as a cultural hub. Guests can immerse themselves in the local art scene while enjoying live music on weekends, all within the inviting atmosphere of its covered patio.
THIS IS a real restaurant with their own salsa sauce, their own poutine style and nacho. We enjoyed The Mill On Main's authentic food. Kaelyn's service was very friendly and excellent, always looking after us. Huntsville's historical artifacts and a pizza oven with wood fire going were another attraction. We chose to sit inside this time. Last 2 times we were on the patio and didn't see inside. We are glad to come in to enjoy the interiors.

Had the salmon dip, steak, and lobster linguine. Dip was very good! Would be nice with a bit more chunks of salmon but overall amazing appetizer would 100% have it again kettle chips were amazing! Lobster Linguine was absolutely the star of the show and was amazing! I lived 1.5 hours away and had to come back again just for this because it's amazing! Only down side was we waited over 40 minutes for our mains to come out as something with the steak wasn't ready not sure what it was but appetizer came out very quick. That is the only downside but the wait for the linguine was totally worth it! Will definitely be coming back again hopefully it stays on the menu!

The visit was great, we had brunch, they had lots of room for us and we sat at the second patio which is not covered as the weather was quite nice. The service was a little slow as we got our waters after 15 minutes of sitting down but from there on it was all good so no complaints. The views are nice, the service is fine the food however is really good. I enjoyed my black bean veggie burger, there mushroom pizza was good, sweet potato fries were amazing, the chicken quesadilla was perfect but the coleslaw with it wasn’t really good. We had tempura cauliflower which was also good. The drinks were fine. It is nice location, nice views and great food. Will probably come again when we’re in the area.

We had a really enjoyable meal at The Mill on Main in Huntsville — the kind of experience that makes you appreciate small-town hospitality done right. From the moment we sat down, the service stood out — friendly, attentive, and impressively prompt without feeling rushed. We started with the cauliflower bites, which were crisp, flavorful, and a perfect way to kick things off. For our mains, we had the fish and chips and the power bowl. The fish was beautifully golden, with a light, crunchy batter and tender, flaky meat inside — exactly what you want in a good fish and chips. The power bowl was fresh and hearty, loaded with vibrant ingredients that balanced out the meal perfectly. What really impressed us, besides the food, was the portion size — generous without being overdone. You truly feel like you’re getting great value for what you pay. Overall, The Mill on Main delivered a relaxed atmosphere, great food, and service that made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d return to the next time we’re in Huntsville.
Hameed B — Google review
The wait was a bit longer than what we expected but when the food arrived we were amazed at how big the portions were! The food we ordered was delicious. My kid enjoyed the cheese pizza from the kids menu. We tried it as well and it was tasty. The others enjoyed their food as well - the quesadilla with pulled pork was yummy! The lamb shank was very good, as was the power bowl. We will be back here for sure!
Marta S — Google review
This place deserves a much higher rating than what they currently have. The food was delicious, the view spectacular from the rooftop patio, the music was good while not too loud. And to too it off, Maddy’s smile and service definitely makes us want to come back.
Jeanne D — Google review
The Mill on Main is in a great spot in downtown Huntsville, and at first glance it feels like the kind of place you’d want to sit down at after exploring Muskoka. The atmosphere is welcoming and the patio has a nice casual vibe, especially if you’re just looking to grab a drink and people-watch. That said, when it came to the food, the overall experience left me a little underwhelmed. I came in really wanting to try the lamb shank, which looked like one of the more exciting items on the menu, but unfortunately they didn’t have it available that day. That was disappointing, and I ended up going for pizza instead. The pizza itself was okay, but the dough really missed the mark—it didn’t have that light, flavorful, or well-textured quality you’d expect. Toppings were fine, but the crust is what carries a pizza, and this one felt more like an afterthought. I also tried their Caesar, which was decent. It had the classic flavor you’d expect and was refreshing enough, but again, not something I’d rave about. Across the board, the food felt pretty average—nothing was terrible, but nothing really impressed either. For the price point, which is on the higher side, I think you’d expect a little more in terms of flavor and execution. Service was fair and the staff were pleasant, but the overall experience just didn’t live up to the charm of the location. Huntsville and Muskoka have a lot of great spots, and while The Mill on Main is okay for a casual night out if you’re already nearby, it wouldn’t be my first recommendation if you’re looking for a truly memorable dining experience. It’s a solid “middle of the road” option: not bad, but not great either. With some improvements to consistency in the kitchen and perhaps more attention to the details that elevate a dish from average to memorable, it could be much better. For now, I’d call it decent if you’re in the area, but not necessarily worth going out of your way for.

We had such a phenomenal dining experience in Huntsville! From the moment we arrived, our server Adrian went above and beyond to make everything so lovely, attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. The food was outstanding. The gnocchi was honestly the best I have ever tried! perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and simply unforgettable. For our appetizer, we ordered the bruschetta, and I was so pleased it didn’t have raw red onions (a rare and very welcome touch). Dessert was just as impressive, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, the perfect way to end the meal. Between the exceptional service and incredible food, this restaurant exceeded expectations on every level. Huntsville is lucky to have a spot like this, and I can’t wait to return!

It was perfection. Fresh, authentic Italian & service was impeccable. The staff was inviting, friendly & professional. Adrian was lovely & went out of her way for us. We enjoyed the bruschetta as appetizer and Pappardelle al ragu and Ricotta gnochi as main course. Everything has a very authentic taste and we loved every bit of them. The wait for food was a bit long due to the amount of guests (my guess), but worth it.

We tried to walk in at Allora in the evening and were told it would be about an hour wait. Fair enough — we left our phone number, confirmed it was correct, and were assured we would get a call. At the time, I noticed roughly a third of the tables were empty, but I assumed they were being held for reservations. After more than an hour without any call, we went back inside. Strangely, many of the same tables were still empty. Yet we were told again that we needed to wait another hour. We decided to be patient, but no call ever came — even as the restaurant approached closing time. When we went to check one last time, those same tables had remained empty the entire night. Perhaps the restaurant has a unique definition of “reservation” that allows tables to sit unused indefinitely. Or perhaps there is another explanation that we are not privileged enough to know. If tables are truly reserved, wouldn’t it be fair to release them after 30 minutes if no one shows up? Otherwise, it gives the impression that guests like us were simply not welcome. Could you kindly clarify your seating policy? Because from our perspective, it felt less like a waitlist system and more like a test of patience — or worse, a selective filter of which guests are actually called back.

Restaurant
Cast Iron Restaurant in Baysville is a top dining spot, especially on Wing Night. The place offers a variety of dishes, including cast iron burgers, fish and chips, stuffed portobello mushrooms, and options for vegetarians and those with gluten-free diets. It's a great choice for casual dining with its inviting atmosphere suitable for all ages. The restaurant also features wildlife and landscape photography on its walls.
This place is always a great experience. It’s hard not to stop if you’re around Lake of Bays to enjoy the food and service. Whether you have a place near by or are renting a cottage in the area it’s worth popping in to get some great food. Even if I’m just stopping in for a break on the drive to the cottage to let my dog stretch his legs for a bit we’re always greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. They have a water bowl and an outdoor patio that is great for me and my dog. The chicken burger is top tier just ask them to add crispy onions on it to take it to the next level, you won’t be disappointed with the portions either. It’s hard to find a place in Muskoka that makes better food made in house than Cast Iron. Family run business with local staff, I’ll be back here for sure! Highly recommended lots of friendly locals and staff!

Just had an enjoyable dinner here. We have always enjoyed our time at Cast Iron, have celebrated my mother’s birthday there each year. The service has been awesome with a group of 10 or more each time. We even had a friend with her service dog many times, staff showed nothing but respect for her and her dog. The food, service and friendliness is the best. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone especially if they had to bring their service dog with them. Keep up the great work.

I have never witnessed a place kick out a person with a service animal before. The customer showed the certificate to the staff, the dog barked, and they weee escorted to their seats. The second server approached the customers, she came in really hot, and said "if your dog barks it can't be in here" then the manager came in to the space and let them know they couldn't stay if the dog barks. The dog is very small, the three people were of colour, I'm unsure if this had anything to do with it, they didn't seem to mind their Caucasian customers. I would highly recommend anyone who likes dogs, respects people with disabilities or who aren't racist not support an establishment who clearly stands against all of this. Honestly I haven't seen people following their customer out and standing there bullying a person with a disability in front on the restaurant recording them after kicking them out. The manager also refused to hand the business card to the customer, and threw it on the table. Disgusting and shameful behaviour.

My family has been coming here for years. We’re always greeted with warm smiles and genuine care about how we’re doing. The food and service have never disappointed us. The weekly specials and wing nights are very tasty….While you’re there, — check out the beautiful artwork by Jessie from Follow Me North. Thank you to Ty, Andrea and all of the amazing staff we call friends.

Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. Our party of five was seated at a large table in the mid afternoon. After main lunch crowd but before the dinner rush. Server helped with children's selection. Food was extremely tasty, portions were very ample and each guest at table received meal at same time. Would definitely return and hope to do so very soon.

Cottaging in Dwight so we like to take our boat out to explore. Docked at the public dock and walked over to Cast Iron (maybe 10 minutes). Cute spot. Food was good, my son really liked the blackened fish, chicken fajitas were a good portion and tasty too! Red sangria was also refreshing. Staff were great, they even gave us a different route to walk back so my kids could check out the new Baysville playground.

Atmosphere is busy and a bit crowded but a good positive vibe. Service was all very pleasant. I found the burger to be really just okay and the fries were unbearably bitter. Not sure if it was old oil or that's how they prefer them but I struggled to finish them. My girlfriend loved her jerk chicken skewers. A little bit expensive.

Fast food restaurant
Heart Of Muskoka Fries is a local gem in Huntsville, ON, known for its delicious fast food offerings and reasonable prices. The restaurant has garnered a loyal following among locals who appreciate the friendly atmosphere and tasty food. Situated near Highway 11, it offers a cozy ambiance and quick service. While the menu may be limited for vegetarians, the fresh cut fries and poutine are highly recommended. Visitors praise the attentive staff and delightful dining experience.
My experience wasnt exactly what I expected, I still give 5 stars to this place. I am vegetarian when the server took my order I did specify to get western omelette without bacon, however the chef didn’t understand the server’s message and it seemed like there was a bit of misunderstanding. They ended up putting sausage in my omelette. The server was extremely apologetic and quickly got me another meal. Didn’t charge me for the food. The fries were extremely good! Overall was a good experience despite the mishap.

There is so much to look at in and around Heart of Muskoka Fries that you couldn't see it all before your food comes out. The food was delicious, but the fries got soggy, driving back to the cottage. Recommend eating there while it's fresh. Get there early, they close at 6pm

I was extremely disappointed in the food It was a bare minimum of cooking but I guess that's what people expect nowadays. For $15 the burger tasted like it was made pork or pre-made, not freshly made like they advertised. The fries were overdone and not salted at all and they didn't even ask me if I didn't want salt or not. So to assume come salted you have to pay extra dollars for if you like fries with your burger and so you had to make a full combo. Fries are not included within a burger meal to service felt rushed and they felt like they were not really watching to be there. It was a little bit hot. I understand but customer service is important but overall atmosphere. I did enjoy the way it looks like Muskoka it was rusk it just the food and service was holding it back. It was definitely not what it was back in the day when they had fresh cut fries. Far better burgers and actually cared about their quality

Not far off the beaten path. This is a diamond in the rough because of the locals constantly stopping by( that’s how you know a place is good). Customers greeting the owner with local garden produce as a friendly hello. Calling each other by first name and the food was really good.. not fancy but super delicious! A definite must if you’re in the area. Prices are very reasonable!

Nice place located just before the entrance of Highway 11. I love the ambient and food at this place. Being vegetarian, I could not find too many options. We tried fresh cut fries and fries with poutine. Staff is good and quite quick. The food was great and packed nicely. Wish we could have tried more options as the menu looks quite interesting.
