Yep, reviews are accurate. Absolutely delicious. What a great spot. Try the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich and you can thank me afterwards. Go. Eat. Enjoy. And be Happy Happy Happy!!!

Traveling thru and stopped for a quick happy hour. Service was great. The brussels were fantastic. Bruschetta was very olive heavy - definitely over powered the other flavors but still good. Only negative was the water had a funky taste, which could just be Bemidji.
Darcy R — Google review
Bar 209 is one of our favorites in Bemidji! The food is always great, a little more edgy than most of the typical bar fare you’ll find in the area. Chad was our server most recently and was a fantastic server and gentleman. He was calm and collected and made a great cocktail. We enjoyed his conversation and his stories. This time, we ordered the pretzel, nachos, and walleye strips. All, including the drinks were half price for happy hour (2:09-5pm). The food came out quickly and was good. I love their cheese sauce with the pretzels and nachos. We’ve also had burgers and other items and have been pleased with everything. The place has a neat decor with guests of all kinds. We often dine with our four children and the staff are always great with them. The restaurant is always clean and I love the clear view of the kitchen. Thanks for another great experience!
Amanda L — Google review
Amazing experience at Bar 209 today. Enjoyed lunch meals of salmon, chicken sandwich, thai pasta, and tacos… all were delicious. Our server Chad was fabulous! He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, helped us with special requests for extra sauce, food preference needs, and took time to take our photo even though he was hustling. Thanks Bar 209 and Chad for making our lunch experience extra special!

No. Just NO. Smh. Ordered the Brussels sprouts with bacon and Bleu cheese crumbles. The bacon was RAW. ALL FATTY RAW bacon, disgusting. After I tried to pick all that disgusting fat out, I tried to eat as much as I could, but it was also setting IN a bunch of liquid? So the Brussels were soggy as well. See the pics. I do NOT know where this liquid came from, or WHY its in my dish, but remove that, gross! ALL that liquid you see on that plate below, is after I dumped it out of the Brussels sprouts container. YUCK. I didn't order Brussels sprouts soup. Also there were strings of onions, half cooked, that just didn't belong in this dish at all. This should've been crispy Brussels, with COOKED BACON, crispy bacon and NO liquid. The $7 scoop of mashed potatoes I got, were at least real, I think. But 0 flavor. Not worth $3. The truffle fries would've been good, if they hadn't been soggy. They were inedible, cold and soggy. The flavor was good, but I couldn't eat much. Huge let down after spending close to $50!!!! Won't return. Will NOT suggest to friends.

The 209 is now our fav “go to” in Beltrami county. What service - to us ‘old people’ who experienced the way Happy Hour was meant to be - 1/2 price on apps and ANY drink! Wow. Our waitress was absolutely terrific. And she also was the bar manager. EMILY. What a treasure. She deserves accolades and we hope that she is getting superbly compensated because she is worth every penny. And the icing on that proverbial cake - our food was wonderful. What more could you ever want???
Alette R — Google review
Chad was such an amazing, amazing waiter. The atmosphere was great, the food was even better. Chad took superb care of our table, he is very knowledgeable in the menu (and martial arts???). But for real, amazing dude, and maybe the best meal I’ve ever had in Bemidji.

Had a scrumptious lime salad with salmon on a stormy Monday evening. Emily was a treat to be served by: welcoming, friendly, and attentive. All around excellent experience!

Restaurant
Tutto Bene is a cozy Italian restaurant that offers a local twist on traditional Italian dishes. The warm and intimate atmosphere, along with outdoor seating, provides a charming setting for enjoying the culinary delights. With its focus on creative cooking and special diets, Tutto Bene serves up daily lunch specials, homemade soups, salads, pastries, and gourmet coffee. It's a great place to experience the best flavors around Bemidji while enjoying friendly service in a relaxed environment.
It was my birthday! Made reservations, which is recommended. Such a cozy place. We were greeted immediately and service was great. I had lasagna, my hubby had gnocchi/duck. It was just so yummy. I feel the portions size were a good size, but a small side salad should come along with it for the price, or bread loaf. A surprise teramisu to celebrate my day was given, with a little candle, haven't seen that for awhile. The place was spotless! Thanks for a nice evening!
Donna G — Google review
This was our first time trying Tutto Bene, on Valentine’s Day, and we were not disappointed with the food. It was fantastic. The pasta tasted very fresh and the sauce was the best I’ve ever had at an Italian restaurant. The service was great and the restaurant was very clean. The only complaints we had were how pricey the dishes are and the somewhat plain interior. It doesn’t really give that homey Italian feel. No Italian music playing and minimal decorations. If the dishes were a little less expensive, we would definitely come back often. But at the current prices, it’s definitely a special occasions only kind of place. Definitely worth a visit though!
Mario S — Google review
I wanted to take my granddaughter here for lunch for her birthday. It's been quite a while since I have been there, so my favorite menu item wasn't on the menu any more. Since it was lunch, I assumed there would be lunch prices, but that is not the case. It's full dinner menu and prices. So it was more expensive than what I expected it to be. We decided to share the fettuccini and we opted to get the chicken as an addition to the pasta. The chicken was excellent and the pasta seemed like it was homemade. It was delicious as well. It was served with a piece of focaccia bread. It was very dry and when I bit into it and I thought it tasted like wine. I am unsure if they do add wine to the recipe or not, but there was definitely an unusual flavor. So if you are looking for a good place to go for dinner it won't disappoint. They do have a separate wine and drink menu.

The husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary yesterday and had dinner here. And, OH, what a perfect evening and place to have a romantic dinner for two. The food was cooked to absolute perfection and the service was PHENOMENAL! Thank you - a perfect meal for this happy couple.
Domenica W — Google review
Good experience, really great service. Pretty good but not outstanding food. Probably a good place for a 1 on 1 date. BUT-Order a lot. Portions aren’t skimpy but are not large. We got a focaccia app, a half order of crab ravioli, and a half order of chicken gnocchi for $70.
Jacob H — Google review
We had high hopes but they were let down. We sat at our table for at least 10 minutes before server even brought us water. The soda was awful and had to tell them they brought me flavored carbonated water because the syrup was out. Later when we got a refill, I thought it was bugs in my drink.. turned out the bartender spilled earlier and it landed in the cups. Our server never checked how our food was. My chicken was suuuuper dry. We really didn't see our server much so ordering was super spaced out. I would love to give them another chance, but I can't say I want to spend that kind of money again for that level of food and service.
KJ G — Google review
I brought my world traveling son and his Brazilian girlfriend to Tuttos for his birthday, after talking the place up. It did not disappoint- in fact both world travelers said it was the best meal/drinks/ambiance (and company♡) they'd ever had! Also, the staff were excellent and engaging, from asking what book I was reading to inquiring about my son's travels. Very well done. World class.
Lisa W — Google review
We held my step-son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at Tutto Bene in late October 2022. It was a 4-course meal for 25 people and absolutely fantastic. The chef, Justin was easy to work with from menu planning to event details and the staff the day of the event were on point. The food was incredible, I especially loved the roasted beet salad and the crab ravioli. Most importantly the bride and groom had a wonderful evening. Highly recommend for a casual dinner out or a larger event. Kudos to the chef and the wait staff!

Minnesota Nice Cafe is a popular spot in Bemidji known for its unique French toast, omelets, and other homestyle dishes. Despite its unassuming exterior, the cafe draws in a loyal crowd of fans who rave about their top-notch breakfast offerings. One of their specialties is oat flour buttermilk pancakes available in seven different variations to cater to all pancake enthusiasts.
Very popular restaurant, there were several people waiting for seats but our wait was only 10 minutes or so. Wild rice omelet was very tasty. Hash browns were crisp and buttery. Rye toast was true rye and flavorful. Eggs over medium were perfect. Sourdough toast yummy. The restaurant is nicely decorated inside.

We had MN Nice cater our wedding in November 2024. Our food was WONDERFUL! We had pork roast, beef roast, with roasted baby red potatoes, glazed carrots, and a side salad. The meat was extremely flavorful and tender, and their herbes de provence sauce is incredible. We had a variety of cupcakes, the caramel cheesecake cupcakes were a huge hit! We got so many great compliments on the food from our guests. We worked with Danielle, and she is fantastic. She was so easy to work with and was very organized. For our couples cake, she made a turtle cheesecake that was to die for!! I highly recommend MN Nice for any catering needs that you may have.

Short wait to be seated, comfy dinning room, Good service, for being steady busy she was good. Food was really good, pancakes so yummy. Good hot coffee I would recommend to try if your looking for breakfest .. im sure the other meals are good too :) will be back to try next time!

great little spot in town for breakfast typical local diner spot. wouldn’t call this restaurant a great spoon. nice menu good food and local service has a very local vibe they sell fresh baked goods up front as well

Have eaten here several times on our way to MI. I love the Irish Benedict with their in house made corned beef and my husband had the special that day. This place never disappoints. The staff have been working there for years and work like a well oiled machine. Service is always with a smile, orders come out quickly and hot. The portions are large and the coffee is good. What more can a person ask for.
J — Google review
Recommended as the place to go! The wait had me curious, however in the end the food was pretty ordinary with the exception of using wild rice mixed in with normal food. Not terrible but knowing what I know now I would not wait there to eat. Nice trying something different.
Scott S — Google review
Always a must stop when I’m in Bemidji. The wild rice pancakes are absolutely delicious - and filling! There may be a wait on weekends, but it’s worth it!
Laura H — Google review
Incredible, made-from-scratch eats. Everything from the coffee to the cakes to the eggs were put together with the love of a mother. Didn’t have room to give the Hummingbird cake a try, good chance of my eyes rolling back in my head followed by a solid blackout so I couldn’t take the risk. Id recommend bringing a strong family member and a stretcher along because the portions are quite hearty. I pert near left in a body bag, but that won’t stop me from coming back! Also, great story about how the owner fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning and operating a popular cafe. Love to see and live the American Dream while it’s in action!

Located in Bemidji, Minnesota, the Headwaters Science Center is a captivating destination offering interactive technology and science programs. Since its establishment in 1993, the center has expanded to feature 11 impressive Science Carnival exhibits from the Pacific Science Center. Visitors can explore live animal displays showcasing various species such as turtles, owls, and snakes for educational purposes. The center also offers engaging activities for children, making it an ideal family-friendly attraction.
Fun experience for all ages! Feeding the animals is really cool. Everything was sanitized. Animal holdings were available to all! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! Would go here again.

My kids have the time of their life every time we come here! Super friendly staff, they sell the folkmanis puppets too if you are looking for hyper realistic puppets for content creation, or to do story time with students, day care or your own kids. This science center also has a reptile petting zoo type set up which is super exciting because the kids can come pet the animals with a staff member handling them and learn about animals like bearded dragons, pythons and other snakes people keep as pets, they also have stick bugs, and other neat critters, including an owl enclosure! I highly recommend this place to locals, tourists and people just passing through looking to walk around after a meal at one of the local restaurants.

We've been here 3 times now over the course of the last 4 years, and it is always a great experience. The kids love it, and I recommend it for all ages. Lots of interactive exhibits and great staff who care about the work they do. If you're looking to beat the heat, this is a great place to pass 2 hours.

My kid loved it here! There was something for every age for my kids who range from 2-10. They had live animal exhibits and every subjects for my homeschoolers to get out of the classroom and have a hands-on day! Next time we come, we’ll have to stay longer!
Liza-Jane S — Google review
There was some great options and potential, but so many missed opportunities. There are employees walking around and assisting patrons with the interactive experiences, but they weren’t educating the children on the science behind it. It has great potential, but was lack luster at best.
Amber D — Google review
My daughter and I visited Headwaters recently. They have many interactive science experiments. My daughter enjoyed making the giant bubbles & learning about all of the animals & reptiles. The staff was wonderful & the girl working in the reptile area was super knowledgeable & professional. She took out any reptile that we wanted to touch/hold & told us interesting facts about each one. We had a great experience & will definitely return.

Irish pub
The Mushroom soup, referred to as another name, is said to bear a striking resemblance in taste to the homemade version from one's grandmother. The Reuben sandwich is highly recommended, with fresh rye bread and perfectly cooked French fries as sides. The atmosphere of the establishment is enjoyable and the staff members are extremely friendly. Whether for lunch, dinner, or simply a cocktail, this Irish pub receives a perfect rating of 10/10. The gratitude towards their soup is expressed in appreciation.
$30! Can’t beat that! My husband and I had a nice meal with drinks and are taking home at least two meals for leftovers. If you like fried food and are willing to arrive between 3 and 6 PM, this is the place! Unfortunately, I can’t speak to the real meals on the menu. The atmosphere is a typical bar.

The Mushroom soup (not the real name), I kid you not tastes just like my grandma used to make it. The Reuben is really good, rye bread was fresh. The French fries were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is great, I really enjoy the style. Staff was super friendly. A great place for lunch, dinner or just a cocktail. 10/10, get the soup!! Thank you

We stopped in during our visit to the area. The pub was almost empty, so it didn’t have the vibe of an Irish pub. The interior is appointed well and the menu has both Irish and Minnesota fare. We enjoyed some fried walleye from Red Lake.

I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the high reviews, but I was met with such disappointment. Let's start with the dish I ordered. I ordered sesame chicken with peach boba tea. The sesame chicken was hard on the outside, and it basically looked like frozen chicken nuggets that they reheated and added sauce on it. Dish didn't look authentic and tasted flavorless. As for the peach boba tea, it did not look like the image posted online on their website. Very misleading. The drink was NOT tea and it was basically milk based. There was no peach flavor and it was very very very sweet. I could not finish the food and the drink. Also, my server didn't come over to check up on me despite the fact that it wasn't that busy. If you want Asian food and boba tea in Bemidji, I recommend Kin Poke.

I tried the tonkotsu ramen. Why was the broth yellow? Why did it taste like butter and kraft mac n cheese? Service was wonderful, but our table was sticky, and seemed to get stickier after they wiped it down for us. Might try again in a few summers if they survive...

Red Stu Breakfast Bar in Bemidji, MN is a popular spot known for its great service and friendly staff. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and delicious breakfast options. With a focus on creative cooking and special diets, they serve up daily lunch specials, homemade soups, salads, pastries, and gourmet coffee. Whether you're looking for a quick takeaway or a leisurely dinner experience, Red Stu Breakfast Bar's prime location makes it the perfect choice.
The location is in the downtown Bemidji area, and there is street parking available. It’s connected to the 209 bar on the corner. I visited Red Stu’s for breakfast, where a few locals were already inside. The menu features a nice selection of upscale dishes, and the coffee was good. I enjoyed a delicious omelet. The restaurant also has a pleasant bar and dining area, and the Bloody Marys looked appealing.

Red Stu is a restaurant that specializes in breakfast and brunch fare. Here you’ll find pancakes, French toast, omelettes, biscuits and gravy, etc. The food was solidly good, but nothing too special. The staff was very friendly, but the service a bit slow (by the time we sat at our table to the time we left was a little over an hour). The atmosphere was chic and classy.

Ordered Jeff or Jeds cajun smash burger. Was a little overcooked and not very spicy. Burger had a really crispy crust on it. Nice flavor in spite of being overcooked. Smash burgers were a little thick too. Price at $17 was (sad to say) reasonable for a place that sells Corona in a bottle for $7. Also got a laugh out of the Boys to Men signs outside the bathrooms.

Wonderful warm atmosphere to enjoy a hearty, dellious breakfast. Our waiter Nick greeted us immediately, with great service.. portions every generous, warning the cinnamon rolls are huge, a meal in itself. great location for couples and friends to enjoy a great cup of coffee, in a quiet cozy enviroment. WE will be back, bringing a couple of friends to enjoy all that you have to offer. Special thanks to Nick and the great service he provided.

We stopped in here for the reviews were good. We were seated right away. Waitress was friendly and took our order. I ordered a side of hollandaise. What came out was a cold, gelatinous, solid glob of nothing that resembled hollandaise. The waitress didn't check on us at all nor did she offer refills. Food was so-so. Cute atmosphere though.

We stopped here for brunch on the way down from fishing on the weekend up north. We selected this place because of its high rating, and also the pictures of their excellent looking food. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and heard the chill. Dad Rock and had a really wonderful server named Nick, who despite being slightly new, was very friendly and an extremely gracious host. He made our breakfast drinks, and was a joy to hang out with. Be prepared to enjoy a cozy wait as you soak up the warm atmosphere adorned with local news clippings and family photos.
Ordered a cake and cupcakes for a graduation party tasted good and looked good. Service was very helpful while looking for designs, and ordering.

I only want exactly what I order, nothing extra it doesn't even say anywhere on the menu that anything "comes with." I inspected the menu very thoroughly and did not find those unwanted side items I couldn't check the ingredients of. I have dietary restrictions. I did not think it necessary to disclose because the item I ordered itself did not contain anything I avoid. There was zero indication it was going to come out with other things. So when that happened I just wanted to leave immediately with only the actual thing I ordered, and I think it is messed up that anyone acted like that was weird of me to do. The restroom is in an uncomfortable location, you have to walk visibly behind the bakery staff. And there's what I believe to be a child too young to legally be working at the register, who didn't even tell me there was an extra charge for using a card before I paid, which is just a basic decency thing even if there's signage. The signage is poorly placed. They both shouldn't have a literal child working the register and need to train everyone better. Will not be returning.

We have been traveling roads in the U.S. for 4 years taking several long trips by motorcycle and car. Raphael's would rank in the Top 3 family diner restaurants we have come across. Excellent food, generous servings, reasonable prices, great service, wonderful ambiance and fabulous bakery items available in the area of the pay register. Truly a wonderful place.

Great old fashioned baked goods that are super yummy! Danish melt in your mouth. Great for lunch! Like stepping back in time..very home spun. Soup and sandwich type of food.

Upon entering to purchase donuts, I found that the line moved efficiently. The staff and customers alike demonstrated exceptional kindness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The donuts were both reasonably priced and of outstanding quality. I look forward to returning.

Wow this birthday cake is amazing!! The kids love Huggy-Wuggy and all I had to do was give the decorator a reference picture and they drew it PERFECTLY. Kids are stoked and I couldn't be happier.

My daughter was visiting family at Cass lake during her birthday and I wasn’t able to make the trip. I called this local bakery and placed an order to ensure her birthday was special. Staff was friendly and helpful. They took care of my girl with a beautiful and delicious cake! Thanks all the way from Maryland!

“Where Carbs and Happiness Collide” If butter had a love language, it would be this place. From the first bite of their pastries to the last crumb of my breakfast sandwich, I knew I had found the breakfast holy grail. The croissants? Flakier than my group text. The coffee? Strong enough to make me forgive my alarm clock. It’s like they kidnapped a grandma, a French pastry chef, and a brunch influencer, locked them in a kitchen, and let them create magic. If you’re on a diet, come here for one last glorious cheat day and then just… never look back. Five stars, and a sixth if they ever start offering home delivery via teleportation.

Very nice park located on the shore of lake Bemidji. Great photo op. Visitor center staff very informative. Downtown Bemidji across street. Plenty of local eateries(not chain restaurants) and shops.

Lovely well keep landmark of historical importance. Make sure to stop. Maybe even charge your vehicle while you visit. Gift shop closes by 4pm, but the restrooms are still accessible after business hours. Not quite as large as some roadside attractions, but still a fabulous sight to visit. Nice place to relax and stretch the legs after a distance of driving, right here at the Lakeshore. Even the JW Witnessing cart was spending some relaxing moments while we were here.

Lots to do here if you are family oriented or outdoors type of person, there is a playground as well as trails to run/walk. Good night seeing rest stop! Bathroom available in doors and lots of amenities within walking distance

We found this tourist attraction on our Google Maps app. We were looking for something to see while driving through Minnesota on Highway 2. This is just about 5 miles from the highway & simple to get to. There was parking for several cars & spaces for RV’s which we utilized with our motorhome & tow vehicle. Great playground for the kids and a beautiful visitor center and grounds leading back to Lake Bemidji which is where the Mississippi River begins. A fun stop to break up the driving monotony!

Paul Bunyan Park

Nestled in the heart of Bemidji, Minnesota, Paul Bunyan Park is a delightful destination that captures the essence of Northwoods charm. This park is home to the iconic statues of Paul Bunyan and his loyal companion, Babe the Blue Ox, making it an ideal spot for memorable photos. As you stroll through this scenic area by Lake Bemidji, you'll find plenty of activities to enjoy—whether it's solving playful riddles or simply soaking in the picturesque views.
🫎🪵🌳Paul Bunyan Park in Bemidji, Minnesota, is a legendary lumberjack’s playground, where Paul Bunyan himself would feel right at home—if he wasn't busy wrestling oxen or making mountains. The giant statues of Paul and his trusty blue ox, Babe, are a sight to behold and a perfect backdrop for your vacation photos. Standing next to Paul, I felt like a flea on a St. Bernard. The park offers scenic views, but be prepared to encounter mosquitoes with ambitions larger than Babe's horns. Remember to pack your industrial-strength bug spray and maybe a tiny chainsaw for good measure. The lakeside setting is gorgeous, but try not to wonder if Paul's footprints created those lakes—it's a bit unnerving. There's a playground for the kids, where they can pretend to chop down trees or take a spin on Babe-themed rides. If you hear them shouting "Timber!" don't worry; it's just part of the charm. So, grab your plaid shirt, your best tall tales, and a camera with a wide-angle lens. Paul Bunyan Park is where history, humor, and a healthy fear of enormous statues come together for a legendary day out.

What a lovely lakeside stop. There are the iconic Paul and Babe statues. The playground looks amazing though I didn't go on to it. There is a round picnic Rotary shelter. I walked out on a dock with a very great view of Lake Bemidji. This is just a very fun park for everyone and scenic too. A must stop for me when in Bemidji,MN.

It's so wonderful to visit this park just on the lake. You can have a great walk there. Such a nice play ground for the kids. The statues and the btemji sign makes it special. Picnic tables are there to enjoying the park little long. Restroom is located at the park office with a souvenir shop. We were so glad to meet Mary the lady in the office is very welcoming and friendly. Parking place is spacious and we love to visit the again soon. It's also a dog friendly park.

My wife, daughter, and I came up to Bemidji for the first time and after grabbing a bite to eat we came to the Paul Bunyan Park and it was a lot of fun. We walked around and the park was very pretty and also went into the tourist office (not sure what it's called) but they had a lot of information about Bemidji and also had souvenirs for purchase. Overall great experiance.

The Anishinaabe Art Festival at the Sanford Center was a delightful and meaningful event that showcased Indigenous arts and fostered community support. The venue itself is versatile, suitable for various activities such as tradeshows, concerts, sporting events, and pow-wows. The club level offers a comfortable setting for sit-down events; however, there is room for improvement in terms of concession availability. Additionally, an eye-catching boat parked outside the Sanford Center added to its appeal.
Went to a graduation here. Building was very clean, set up well. Accommodated BSU grad class with ease. Wonderful first visit.
Herol G — Google review
The event center itself was nice. Close walk from our hotel so no need to park. We flew into MN to see Aaron Lewis and paid for front row seats. It was an amazing time until a couple who clearly had too much to drink wandered up to the front blocking the view of those of us who paid for it. Things began getting heated after trying to nicely ask them to return to their seats however, instead of security escorting them back to the seats they CHOSE they stood in the shadows enjoying the concert. I tried to get their attention to ask them to help us avoid a bad situation in which they completely ignored me. Finally I was able to call one over and he slowly sauntered to me with a grin on his face, no urgency in tow. He said they were advised to “stand by” until something physical actually happened. I suppose the point is, don’t spend your hard earned money on good seats because clearly you can just go stand up by the stage blocking the view of those who paid for it. Disappointing.
Jeuba — Google review
What a great venue. We stayed RIGHT NEXT DOOR at the hotel and went to the concert without having to go outside. There was an indoor walkway. We saw MercyMe tonight. Our section was W in row 8, seats 1 and 2 (aisle seats). We had a great close-up view and more legroom. Food was credit card only. Best place so far for this concert. Third times a charm. It was wonderful. 💜
Michelle — Google review
Intimate setting, easy in and out, nice parking lot, the concert itself was fantastic. Would definitely return!

I enjoyed the women's hockey game, and wanted a good hotdog. I did not get one. I think the buns were stored cold, and they were not warmed up so my hotdog was cold. Pretty icky. Maybe warm food up before serving it?
Tiffiny D — Google review
Went to the MercyMe Concert last night and the musicians were awesome but it was SO cold in there it took a lot of the enjoyment out of it. The musicians all commented on how cold it was. I probably won’t attend a winter concert there again since their priority is keeping the ice rink cold not making it comfortable for other venues.

We have been customers since the beginning of time. Last night, July 3,2025 was rhetorical greatest experience our family has had. The shop was very busy and the girls working were very respectful, accommodating and generous with the amount of ice cream purchased. We were also very impressed with the new flavors being integrated. The Key lime cheesecake and lemon-raspberry flavors were outstanding. Thank You and we look forward to coming back! God Bless

So glad we stopped on our day trip, the location is right across from the information center so you have a view of the lake. It was so clean and the staff were so friendly and patient while my toddler tried to make a decision. Most importantly, the ice cream was delicious!

the ice cream is okay , usually had good experiences here until recently the staff is extremely racist now, lots of profiling and staff even used slurs when my brother was there this evening, will unfortunately be having to go to other ice cream shops and tell my friends and family it’s not a safe space to go. Staff was also grouped outside during their work hours and gossip when customers are present very uncomfortable and unprofessional.

Bemidji Theatre is a well-maintained cinema with comfortable seating, excellent sound and picture quality, and a good selection of snacks. It's a great spot to catch a movie in town, offering a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Additionally, the theater is conveniently located near several excellent golf courses for those interested in outdoor activities. Visitors can enjoy the comfort of recliner seats while watching new releases or classic films at this clean and cozy theater.
We’re so lucky to have the Bemidji Theater in our community! They’ve clearly invested in creating a top-notch viewing experience—from the super comfortable recliner seating to the excellent sound quality. The staff is always friendly and efficient, making each visit smooth and enjoyable. I also really appreciate the convenience of their online booking system—you can buy tickets and choose your seats ahead of time. It’s such a great perk for planning a movie day or night. Highly recommend!
Molly M — Google review
The theater was nice and clean. However, the auditorium we were in was really dirty, like it never got cleaned before the next show. Food and drinks are expensive, but that's a theater for you. I also was highly disappointed in the seating. They have recliners for seats and that pushes into your knee space, and anyone trying to get through. So, I personally felt super cramped. They do have cheap seats on Tuesday. Which is a bonus. They also have a few games to play to pass some time. Also, they do have rewards cards for anyone who didn't know about that. Otherwise, it was an okay experience.
Mallory B — Google review
I watched a movie and the service they provided was amazing! Afterwards I forgot my card in the chair I was sitting in and when I called to say I would come back they offered to go and look for it. They were super kind and found it. The prices are super cheap. Highly recommend!

Tuesday, $ 5.50 movies all day! Deals on popcorn too. First time back since the remodel. The chairs are comfortable...staff is super friendly. Thurs eve is student and teacher night. Many movie choices. $10 for a movie is very reasonable. Now...even throw blankets to purchase! A good time.

Fozzie’s Smokin Bar BQ in downtown Bemidji is one of our favorite date-night spots. My wife always orders the Brisket Philly and I go for the Brisket Burrito with mac and cheese—both are incredible. It’s about $20 per person before drinks. Their dipping sauce is a must-try and they’ve got a good selection of tap beers and drinks to go with it. The vibe is relaxed with a cozy, slightly dive-bar feel. It has darker lighting, local art on the walls, and nothing you need to dress up for. Service is handled by friendly college-age staff; it’s casual but gets the job done. If you’re in Bemidji and love smoky BBQ, these brisket dishes are worth the trip!

Was a great place with great service and food!! Got the half rack of ribs and fries. The meat was falling off the bone delicious!!! Didn't even need sauce! Highly recommend it. Wish they had one in Columbus Ohio! Was sad they had no shirt in my size but maybe next time.

Good service from the staff. Not so good of an atmosphere, people had a staring problem but it was dead on a Tuesday around 2pm. Wish I could give the food no star because of how disappointing it was. Ribs? Dry! Brisket? Unflavored! Mac n cheese? Microwaved! Also don’t get the blueberry cheesecake egg rolls, mine were uncooked.

Nate H — Google review
I'm not sure what they're doing, but they were out of ribs at 12:30 on a Tuesday, and they weren't busy at all. Frankly, that's inexcusable given that they put the ribs at the top of their menu. I don't know if they just use the leftovers from the night before until they run out or if they simply didn't make enough racks of ribs for the small crowd that was there, but it is what it is and it lost them a star. I ended up having the mac n cheese bowl with brisket and also tried the egg roll with mac n cheese, bacon, and jalapeno. I'm not sure how, but the mac n cheese in the egg role was really good and had a nice sharp cheddar flavor while the mac n cheese in the bowl was pretty bland. The bowl was a ton of food and I came nowhere close to finishing it, so it was decent value for money. The brisket was decent given I'm in Minnesota and not Texas. It took nearly an hour for me to eat lunch as I frankly waited a good 10 minutes trying to get the attention of the waitress so I could order my food and then another 10-15 so I could get my check. That lost the second star. Finally, there was a ton of house flies constantly trying to land on my food and me. It makes me question just how clean the place is. That lost the third star.

I go to Dunkin' every week if not every other day and I'm always happy with it! The people who work there are always nice and I've even gotten a free drink a couple of times! Service is typically pretty fast unless of course you go when the parking lot is packed but that's not the worker's fault. I'm sure my dog would also give 5 stars, he loves the pup cups!

The cashier didn’t greet us, wasn’t able to keep track of what we ordered (had to ask us 6 separate times to repeat the entire order), and didn’t seem to care at all that she was inconveniencing us. We waited 10-15 minutes for the workers to make our sandwiches AND they had asked us what sandwiches we ordered AFTER paying 4 times. The floors desperately needed to be mopped and the restroom was disgusting. Three young girls were working without a manager and they all stood around doing nothing but making themselves personal drinks. They made me two ice coffees instead of one, and yanked the “wrong one” out of my hand when they noticed the problem. They forgot our donuts and we had to specifically ask them for them after being in the store for 25 minutes. There was no one in the drive through or in the restaurant so there is no excuse for this service. This was an extremely disappointing experience.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here. I’m really disappointed. Idk what happened but Nothing has been cleaned, the ice cream display was dirty, the floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in weeks. Honestly, the cleanliness has gone straight to hell. My boyfriend and I didn’t even bother ordering. Even behind the counters were just as messy. Wasn’t worth the risk of ordering.

I had a cake made for my son's birthday and not only was the cake super cool looking, the baker/designer called me personally to make sure everything was made as I wanted. Nice Job

Ordered ice cream cones. Smallest cone and scoop I’ve ever seen. Should have taken a picture. Asked them to dip in chocolate. They dipped the top 1/2” of the cone. Up charge was 2.29. Total for the cone over $8.50. Maybe 3 bites of ice cream. Total ripoff. Will never go back.

I love this location and the people that work there. They remember your name and your drink and always go out of their way to make sure everything is exactly how I like it. Especially when it’s pumpkin season! :)

American restaurant
It has been a month since visiting The Tavern on South Shore, an American restaurant. Fond memories of the delicious salmon salad and chicken nachos often come to mind. The blackened salmon in the salad was incredibly appetizing, like something out of a dream. The portion size was also impressive, with perfectly cooked fish. Additionally, the nachos were exceptional and had a unique quality to them.
Sweet chili mustard boneless wings were on point with a sweet heat would recommend. Chipotle chicken sandwich Sunday special was very good moist chicken. Food was prepared very well. Great atmosphere and food quality would recommend to anyone coming through or around Bemidji Mn to stop in.

This place deserves five stars. We went in on a Friday evening while there were events at the performing arts center right next store. We got seated and ordered all within five minutes. Server was great, food too. Loved the ranch salad dressing and the rest of it meal was great. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Wish we had more water view. But everything else was perfect. The food spot on the service....by the manager, just wow. He had no clue who or what we do. He was amazing. Thank you, Giizhik!

Had the bacon cheeseburger and it was awesome, nice thick patty and really tasty. I also ordered some onion rings and I have to say they were some of the best I’ve had, super crispy with just the right amount of breading, not too much or too light. Definitely a solid meal.

Pros; great service atmosphere and happy hour specials. Cassie was fantastic as our server. Great on communication. Burger and wings were cooked perfectly and tasty. Two negatives; no print or online beer menu. Most importantly, the club sandwich was bland. Tasted like packaged meat (see photo). Two out of three items were good, and as I mentioned previously, the service was great. Views from the bar are a bonus as well. Won't hesitate to come back, but I will avoid ordering the club.

Very disappointed with our dining experience after someone at the Bimidji Visitor Center recommended this restaurant, which happened to be conveniently connected to our hotel. We arrived 33 minutes before closing, hungry and tired after a long drive on the Sunday evening of Labor Day weekend. No one was around to greet us and the place was freezing cold. Finally found the bartender who was scurrying around trying to shut down the place in a hurry. He shoved two menus at me and exclaimed that they were on "bar time" and we had exactly 3 minutes to order. He made us pay up front, so no tip for him and no opportunity to order drinks or desserts. We ate outside to stay warm, and the patio, tables and chairs were dirty--so was the restaurant for that matter, and the bathroom was a mess. The food came quickly and was okay. No one checked on us or offered water refills. We left feeling cold and neglected, just a bother to the bartender who obviously wanted to leave as soon as possible.

We went to Happy hour at 9pm on a Suturday while passing thru the area. HH drinks are half price and apps are $5 off. That's a good deal. Our review: We ordered two mixed drinks. If there was any alcohol in the drinks it would surprise us. We would just get a beer if we came here again. We ordered appetizers with our drinks. Pulled pork nachos had BBQ sauce on them, which was a bit of a surprise as it wasn't listed in the description. Pork was pretty good though. The whole thing wasn't really our idea of Nachos, being we are from the southwest. Boneless BBQ wings. SMOTHERED in a sweet BBQ sauce. We barely ate any. It was too much. The chicken was pretty over cooked. If we came back, we would not order either of them again. The staff was super nice but the food & drinks were over rated from the reviews we read before going here.

OK, I'm a picky wing girl and I'm the very first to admit that. I've tried several things here, just hadn't done the wings, but Jordan was amazing and told me they are her favorite so I had to try.. oh. My. God. Yes yes and yes. Great dry rub, great blue cheese and the wings were perfectly cooked! Definitely some great food they are putting out here!

Went through the drive thru, and the service was astonishing fast. Sandwiches were great. Bread is excellent and gluten-free.

Got a little crazy after a dentist visit the other day and ordered a Northern Philly Cheesesteak. It was a lump of hot meat, mayo and mustard, and it was very disappointing. So, I thought "No worries, I've got the chicken and wild rice!" and popped that good 'ole cup open and took one bite and had to throw it all away. Had a faint taste of plastic and...? Not sure, but the soup was somehow worse than the sandwich. I'm sad, I like the location and workers seem nice, Flash is always decent but probably won't be ordering again anytime soon.

Freezing cold inside. The food is way overpriced for what you get. I wanted lemonade with my meal, but it tasted like done kind of cleaning solution. Mentioned it to a staff member. He tasted it and said it tastes fine. Ugh! Will never go back.

Stopped in on the way thru town to grab sandwiches. It was closing time, but I feel the food could have easily been better. I got a stomach ache shortly after finishing my sandwich. The workers were pleasant and efficient.

These are among the best subs I have ever eaten. The bread and toppings are always so fresh. The quality of their other foods such as soups and desserts are also very good. Price was great with my coupon.
Peggy O — Google review
Food is expensive for what it is. Ordered one cold sandwich and two hot Philly sandwiches. Both Philly sandwiches were ice cold. Didn’t know until we drive away and didn’t have time to return for replacement.

The food is expensive for no reason lol 5.50 for a 2 inch cup of soup crazyyyyy not even that good either
YoungFlow320 — Google review
Every Tuesday morning, the owner, Ergerberg Norberg, serves me with a sufficiently large portion of vinyl neodecanoate copolymer, but last time it was ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate! I was utterly aghast at such blatant disregard for the preferred preference of sustenance from a paying patron! For shame, sir! For shame!
