Delicious filet mignon - perfectly prepared, wonderful service, beautiful atmosphere! Really enjoyed the asparagus wrapped with prime rib in a delicious, creamy horseradish sauce. Their prime rib is fabulous. One of the few places in Minnesota that has fresh mint for making mojitos as well. Fine dining at its finest!! Plus we are always greeted warmly by Reva.

What a great find! Our local friends sort of poo-pooed the place, but beside the slow service (missing help that day) the food was EXCELLENT. The fish was firm and tasty, red meat well seasoned, and salad fresh. Our server was an absolute doll and made it fun to be there. I'd go back in a heart beat but 567 miles is a long way to drive! Hit that place if you are ever in town to see Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, the restaurant is right across the street!

Really enjoyed eating here. The lettuce wraps were fun - beef instead of chicken wrapped in a large lettuce leaf with rice. The walleye was delicious - buttery & savory. Perfect portion - didn't feel stuffed but was satisfied. Good wine options. View of lake is beautiful.

Drove an hour to get prime rib which they serve DAILY. At 6:00 pm on a Friday Night, they said they were out of prime rib, with the place at 40% capacity. How are you out of Prime Rib on Friday night when the place is not busy at all? Server suggested the ribeye... What i got was a Costco 1/2" thick ribeye with no seasoning or salt of any kind. Flavorless... No flavor at all and overcooked due to the fact it was 1/2" thick. I pay $6 each for these at costco. This was $38. My green beans were a mix of semi fresh green beans and canned green beans. Again, no seasoning at all.....The food was just bland and favorless.. I used to like Sparking Waters, i was there the week they opened many years ago, but every time i go there the quality gets worse and worse....They want to be a fine dining experience but their food quality is nowhere near that... way over priced for what they are serving. At this point we are never going back. No reason to....... Get much better food and value at Bar Harbor, Redpine Cookhouse, and even the Big Fish..........

Got the perch chips and they were terrific. Bread pudding for dessert was very tasty. A little too much on the"spice" side, I like mine pretty bland. But the sauce that was on it was the bomb. Good service too.

Since it was our 55th anniversary we decided to drive 60 miles to Bemidji last night for dinner only to discover you were closed. I hope in the future you make mention on your website as it says you were open until 9:00.

Hubby and I celebrated our 30th anniversary this weekend and he wanted Lobster. We’re staying in town and found this gem of a restaurant. Really good food and drinks.

Traveling thru and stopped for a quick happy hour. Service was great. The brussels were fantastic. Bruschetta was very olive heavy - definitely over powered the other flavors but still good. Only negative was the water had a funky taste, which could just be Bemidji.

Bar 209 is one of our favorites in Bemidji! The food is always great, a little more edgy than most of the typical bar fare you’ll find in the area. Chad was our server most recently and was a fantastic server and gentleman. He was calm and collected and made a great cocktail. We enjoyed his conversation and his stories. This time, we ordered the pretzel, nachos, and walleye strips. All, including the drinks were half price for happy hour (2:09-5pm). The food came out quickly and was good. I love their cheese sauce with the pretzels and nachos. We’ve also had burgers and other items and have been pleased with everything. The place has a neat decor with guests of all kinds. We often dine with our four children and the staff are always great with them. The restaurant is always clean and I love the clear view of the kitchen. Thanks for another great experience!

Amazing experience at Bar 209 today. Enjoyed lunch meals of salmon, chicken sandwich, thai pasta, and tacos… all were delicious. Our server Chad was fabulous! He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, helped us with special requests for extra sauce, food preference needs, and took time to take our photo even though he was hustling. Thanks Bar 209 and Chad for making our lunch experience extra special!

No. Just NO. Smh. Ordered the Brussels sprouts with bacon and Bleu cheese crumbles. The bacon was RAW. ALL FATTY RAW bacon, disgusting. After I tried to pick all that disgusting fat out, I tried to eat as much as I could, but it was also setting IN a bunch of liquid? So the Brussels were soggy as well. See the pics. I do NOT know where this liquid came from, or WHY its in my dish, but remove that, gross! ALL that liquid you see on that plate below, is after I dumped it out of the Brussels sprouts container. YUCK. I didn't order Brussels sprouts soup. Also there were strings of onions, half cooked, that just didn't belong in this dish at all. This should've been crispy Brussels, with COOKED BACON, crispy bacon and NO liquid. The $7 scoop of mashed potatoes I got, were at least real, I think. But 0 flavor. Not worth $3. The truffle fries would've been good, if they hadn't been soggy. They were inedible, cold and soggy. The flavor was good, but I couldn't eat much. Huge let down after spending close to $50!!!! Won't return. Will NOT suggest to friends.

The 209 is now our fav “go to” in Beltrami county. What service - to us ‘old people’ who experienced the way Happy Hour was meant to be - 1/2 price on apps and ANY drink! Wow. Our waitress was absolutely terrific. And she also was the bar manager. EMILY. What a treasure. She deserves accolades and we hope that she is getting superbly compensated because she is worth every penny. And the icing on that proverbial cake - our food was wonderful. What more could you ever want???

Chad was such an amazing, amazing waiter. The atmosphere was great, the food was even better. Chad took superb care of our table, he is very knowledgeable in the menu (and martial arts???). But for real, amazing dude, and maybe the best meal I’ve ever had in Bemidji.

Had a scrumptious lime salad with salmon on a stormy Monday evening. Emily was a treat to be served by: welcoming, friendly, and attentive. All around excellent experience!

I’m conflicted giving only 3 stars. The hot dog itself tastes great and seems to be a high quality dog. The ingredients also seem to be very good quality. The downside was the portions of toppings. My wife had the Little Deuce Coupe and it literally had like 4 beans and not much cheese. I had the Model T and there was hardly any coleslaw and very little cheese. It also would have been nice if the cheese was melted, not cold. Overall, they do make a good hotdog, there’s just not enough toppings for the price.

We had a great time. It was apparently national hotdog day and they had some fun content for it. Had some live music, coloring and some kids toy hotdog stands. Inside is small, i assume they are not open in the winter or get little service. My kid who hates hotdogs loved his. We drove an hour to come try it from Backus, MN. Would recommend. Wow...cute place to grab a dog! Vegetarian and gluten free options available! Friendly peeps too! Limited inside space if it starts to rain. Many hot dog choices. 2 blocks to Paul and Babe Statues. It's like stepping back in time!

We LOVED Lucky Dogs. A few of us visited while shopping/vacationing in Bemidji. We went back a couple days later with the rest of our vacation crew, because we knew they'd love it, too. Super friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere, and a menu full of delicious options!

We come here every year for the last three years while we are in town for vaca. First off we move a good gourmet hot dog! The kids love the Mac and cheese too! This year we got to meet the owner, and her grandchildren. We bought the cutest sweatshirts and tshirts too! This is such a wonderful family owned joint! We look forward to our stop here every year! This place deserves five stars. We went in on a Friday evening while there were events at the performing arts center right next store. We got seated and ordered all within five minutes. Server was great, food too. Loved the ranch salad dressing and the rest of it meal was great. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Wish we had more water view. But everything else was perfect. The food spot on the service....by the manager, just wow. He had no clue who or what we do. He was amazing. Thank you, Giizhik!

Had the bacon cheeseburger and it was awesome, nice thick patty and really tasty. I also ordered some onion rings and I have to say they were some of the best I’ve had, super crispy with just the right amount of breading, not too much or too light. Definitely a solid meal.

Pros; great service atmosphere and happy hour specials. Cassie was fantastic as our server. Great on communication. Burger and wings were cooked perfectly and tasty. Two negatives; no print or online beer menu. Most importantly, the club sandwich was bland. Tasted like packaged meat (see photo). Two out of three items were good, and as I mentioned previously, the service was great. Views from the bar are a bonus as well. Won't hesitate to come back, but I will avoid ordering the club.

Very disappointed with our dining experience after someone at the Bimidji Visitor Center recommended this restaurant, which happened to be conveniently connected to our hotel. We arrived 33 minutes before closing, hungry and tired after a long drive on the Sunday evening of Labor Day weekend. No one was around to greet us and the place was freezing cold. Finally found the bartender who was scurrying around trying to shut down the place in a hurry. He shoved two menus at me and exclaimed that they were on "bar time" and we had exactly 3 minutes to order. He made us pay up front, so no tip for him and no opportunity to order drinks or desserts. We ate outside to stay warm, and the patio, tables and chairs were dirty--so was the restaurant for that matter, and the bathroom was a mess. The food came quickly and was okay. No one checked on us or offered water refills. We left feeling cold and neglected, just a bother to the bartender who obviously wanted to leave as soon as possible.

We went to Happy hour at 9pm on a Suturday while passing thru the area. HH drinks are half price and apps are $5 off. That's a good deal. Our review: We ordered two mixed drinks. If there was any alcohol in the drinks it would surprise us. We would just get a beer if we came here again. We ordered appetizers with our drinks. Pulled pork nachos had BBQ sauce on them, which was a bit of a surprise as it wasn't listed in the description. Pork was pretty good though. The whole thing wasn't really our idea of Nachos, being we are from the southwest. Boneless BBQ wings. SMOTHERED in a sweet BBQ sauce. We barely ate any. It was too much. The chicken was pretty over cooked. If we came back, we would not order either of them again. The staff was super nice but the food & drinks were over rated from the reviews we read before going here.

OK, I'm a picky wing girl and I'm the very first to admit that. I've tried several things here, just hadn't done the wings, but Jordan was amazing and told me they are her favorite so I had to try.. oh. My. God. Yes yes and yes. Great dry rub, great blue cheese and the wings were perfectly cooked! Definitely some great food they are putting out here!

This restaurant is also connected to the Double Tree Hotel next door. Large sports bar kinda atmosphere. Great views of the lake. I'm sure its busy here during the summer. Good service. I had wings & a flatbread pizza. Both where good tasting & served hot.

Easy to get to. Excellent menu. We were seated right away with a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. We had Shrimp Cavatappi, a new item on their menu. It was delicious.

This is a great restaurant! The food is amazing! We've eaten here about four times now and each time we've had delicious food! We had backyard burger and chicken marsala this time! Yum!

I’m extremely disappointed with Greenmilk Pizza in Bemijdi. We bought a pizza today, and as soon as I opened the box, it was cold, not crunchy, and had a bad smell — like mold . My 8-year-old son had already started eating it when I noticed black spots that looked like mold. I was shocked and stopped him right away. We returned the pizza to the store, but instead of taking our concern seriously, they just said the pizza was “fine.” No apology, no responsibility. This is a serious food safety issue, especially when children are involved. Please check your food carefully before eating — I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

Some of the TVs didn’t work but the food and service is great! The birthday boy enjoyed his chocolate cake, the fajita chicken burrito bowl was bursting in flavor and awesome! The sweet Thai chili boneless wings are the best!

Lexi was our server and she was phenomenal. The pizza was one of the best I've ever had, cheese curds outstanding and the dry rub chicken wings were some of the best we've ever tried. Well worth a trip!

We had MN Nice cater our wedding in November 2024. Our food was WONDERFUL! We had pork roast, beef roast, with roasted baby red potatoes, glazed carrots, and a side salad. The meat was extremely flavorful and tender, and their herbes de provence sauce is incredible. We had a variety of cupcakes, the caramel cheesecake cupcakes were a huge hit! We got so many great compliments on the food from our guests. We worked with Danielle, and she is fantastic. She was so easy to work with and was very organized. For our couples cake, she made a turtle cheesecake that was to die for!! I highly recommend MN Nice for any catering needs that you may have.

Short wait to be seated, comfy dinning room, Good service, for being steady busy she was good. Food was really good, pancakes so yummy. Good hot coffee I would recommend to try if your looking for breakfest .. im sure the other meals are good too :) will be back to try next time!

Have eaten here several times on our way to MI. I love the Irish Benedict with their in house made corned beef and my husband had the special that day. This place never disappoints. The staff have been working there for years and work like a well oiled machine. Service is always with a smile, orders come out quickly and hot. The portions are large and the coffee is good. What more can a person ask for.

Recommended as the place to go! The wait had me curious, however in the end the food was pretty ordinary with the exception of using wild rice mixed in with normal food. Not terrible but knowing what I know now I would not wait there to eat. Nice trying something different.

Always a must stop when I’m in Bemidji. The wild rice pancakes are absolutely delicious - and filling! There may be a wait on weekends, but it’s worth it!

Incredible, made-from-scratch eats. Everything from the coffee to the cakes to the eggs were put together with the love of a mother. Didn’t have room to give the Hummingbird cake a try, good chance of my eyes rolling back in my head followed by a solid blackout so I couldn’t take the risk. Id recommend bringing a strong family member and a stretcher along because the portions are quite hearty. I pert near left in a body bag, but that won’t stop me from coming back! Also, great story about how the owner fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning and operating a popular cafe. Love to see and live the American Dream while it’s in action!

We called ahead for reservations for 9. The food is very good. We had appetizers ( the only things I took pictures of) meals and desserts. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was trivia night so we stayed. Everyone playing had fun.

Will definitely be back. Everything was fantastic about our first visit. Definitely want to check out a live music night and trivia! Thank you for making my birthday special (sorry for the delay in the post). I wish we would have taken photos. PS I'm a little bit of a risotto snob. By far one of the best dishes I've had. And the shrimp - there must have been at least 10 large shrimp in my dish. Fantastic dollops of basil!!! Oh my weeks later and I can still taste the flavors (not literally) ☺️

Brett, the owner makes an effort to meet and greet his guests. Staff are friendly and helpful. I believe they work hard to satisfy their guests. Happy Hour is awesome as is date night and trivia night. Great, comfortable atmosphere. Just paved their parking lot!

Didn’t have the chance to dine here when it was the Chophouse; overall experience was quite nice— atmosphere was casual yet clean and well kept. Egg role appetizer was a unique spin on a classic staple. Salmon was quite nice, the seasoning was very good and the vegetables spread that accompanied was tasty. The chicken Alfredo was ok, a bit heavy cream, but flavor was. Drinks were nice, their house Old fashion was unique. The cheesecake wasn’t a hit for us- but I’m sure others would find it nice, we felt it was very light and fluffy. Service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu!

Great place to stop, whether date night or looking for delicious meal, they've got you. Came back after few years away for wine tasting and was of the most intimate and well thought out tastings have ever been to. Will be back monthly to try new tastes of wine and food flavors they've come up with.

We are from the Twin Cities and look forward to coming to this place every year. Their menu is just the right size, great selection and they always have a fun special menu. Their wine list is so thoughtful and awesome. I know it’s not on a lake but trust me it’s worth the trip. And their seafood - they say often overlooked and worth it every time! Not to mention- the service and fantastic and make sure you save room for dessert!

Great restaurant! Live music outdoors. Great atmosphere, food was delicious, but small servings, especially the appetizers are not meant for 2 or more people. Food from the stove to the table was slow & there was not a lot of people. Not many great places to eat up north, so this place is a must. Be prepared to spend a lot of money. Pricey. Server was nice. We went for the steaks, which were excellent.

Applebee's is kind of our go-to place when we want a decent sit-down experience. They've got amazing drinks, good variety and great staff. The food is almost always solid as well. Props to management for making sure their customers are happy!

Line cooks left one of them papers between cheese slices in my burger, they also forgot the mashed potatoes for one of our steaks as well.

I will have to start by saying that our server was awesome he was very friendly and kind. We were seated very fast with no way time. The chicken tortilla soup wasn't good at all. I can honestly say I've never seen it may like that before but the flavors were just awful. The wonton tacos weren't too bad but once again I wasn't pleased with the flavors. my husband did like his burger and his owners did taste really good.he also thought it was really cool to find a Hamm's beer at a restaurant. The price of the soup definitely was high for the portion size which was extremely small. All in all we definitely won't be going back to eat here.

Bemidji Applebee's has been one of my favorite go to places for a long time but my last 2 visits have been very frustrating.food has been great but service is going to kill the place I was ready to walk out when they finally took our order.watched others not get waited on and others not get there food and leave. Manager stepped in to help very briefly and disappeared until a frustrated customer who had not received his food way after others and was ready to leave stepped out very briefly said sorry and disappeared they did not charge him but he left without food. Apparently management needs to step up

The service its self was ok but it took 40 minutes after ordering to get our food and the burger bun was rock hard and the pasta had no flavor. All while people who ordered after us had already finished their meals and were leaving.

Very disappointing. Put in an order for an appetizer still hadn't come 20 minutes later. When we asked about it the waitress said that it would be coming soon but it was not what we ordered. We put in our food order and it took an extremely long time for how many people were dining and at least 7 servers on staff. Half of our food showed up and it was pretty obvious that have been sitting under heat lamps for some time and again, not what we ordered. I put an order in for another drink and 20 minutes later I finally walked up to the bar to go get it. This used to be our go-to place before going to the movie theater, but we may have to try to find somewhere else to go.

The management at this location is terrible. The bartender, who was obviously new, was slammed and manager kept on pointing to where different bottles were located but never stepped into help her. The people sitting at bar before I came in hadn't been helped yet, I waited almost 10 min to even be acknowledged. The manager could have stepped in to help or had someone else jump back to get caught up but mostly stood at the end on his phone. Food was good, service needs some help.

This was a pretty run of the mill breakfast spot. But to be honest, I was expecting more then average out of a cozy little breakfast restaurant that I just dont see around that often. I would like to start with the service, the easy low of this experience. Both the lady at the front desk and our waiter were purely passionless. There is no other way to say it. Our waiter never really checked on us more then once and the lady at the front desk looked like she was about to fall asleep putting my money in the register. I know it may be unfair to expect more, but I feel like you guys would want your customers to have high expectations of your restaurant if you want to be successful. The food was pretty good, decent rates on that all around from our group of 4. The main negative of the food experience were the eggs. They were so cold I thought I was going to get a brainfreeze. I probably owe this to the 25 minute wait. Otherwise, I suggest the country sausage biscuits. Overall, I am still searching for the 'perks' of eating at 'perkins', and I will hope for a better experience next time around. I have had better, but I have also definitely had worse (I am looking at you double j cafe)

First off the restaurant was really dirty, garbage in the corner. There were seven of us and they shoved us in a booth even tho there were plenty of tables they could’ve pushed together. Took a while before they came and asked us about drinks. When we ordered food, we read exactly off the menu, and one of us asked for a steak medium well and it was the rarest steak of the other two, who asked for medium rare, the mashed potatoes were really dry. The macaroni and cheese was basically colored noodles, really dry and no cheese. The waitress seemed like she really didn’t want to be there at all. The bathroom also was a little dirty and no toilet paper. The music was really good tho.

Lived in Northern Minnesota all my life. Perkins WAS always good Food and service. But WOW today and past few times the Food quality and service (especially) has diminished greatly since our first encounter and experience. I ordered breakfast ham & cheese omelette mine came with no cheese on the inside and a sprinkle on the outside. I come back because they used to be really cheesy not just a flat. My husband ordered the “tremendous twelve” but got the “Really sad eight” - Pancakes never arrived. The past 3 times they have missed his pancakes. We each ordered coffee 10-15 minutes waiting for coffee and the thermos arrived with 2 1/2 cups. We waited our entire time there for our server to come back by to let her know about the pancakes and needing fresh coffee. We didn’t see her until she brought us our bill after about 20 after we had already finished and have been waiting for coffee or pancakes. So I guess I wanted to share that the food we received in the service we received was just not what we expected time after time from Perkins but is apparently the new standard. I suggested from now on we just go someplace else since this was our third time actually not getting pancakes and receiving poor service. So we’re going to go to Lazy Jack’s next weekend for breakfast. My husband said “Less food and less service - is not a good formula for keeping repeat customers”. I declined the past few times to say anything about the poor service and quality of food, but I feel now that if I don’t say something about it it’s going to continue (not for us - we made our choice) but for others who hope to have a good experience “going out for a meal”.

Cold, dry food. My husband's banana nut muffin was so dry, he could barely even taste what it was. We informed the waiter (young male), and he only offered butter to go with it. He didn't seem to care otherwise. Our pancakes were cold enough that none of the butter would melt. We mentioned the muffin at the register, and they didn't care either. He managed to eat 1/4 of it. The gravy was super salty, way more than normal. It looked strange as well. We aren't picky people, but this was a waste.

We stopped at the Perkins in Bemidji, MN. We were seated, given menus. No one came for a beverage order. We waited 20 minutes. No server came. Three staff were standing behind the counter at the till on Their phones. They said nothing to us when we walked by to leave. Horriable service ! We went elsewhere to eat.

We picked Perkins to have a late lunch . The door hostess never spoke to us. She took us to a booth gave us our menus and walked away. Waited 20 minutes for a server which never showed up to take a drink order. There was at most 10 people in the restiraunt. I observed 3 servers standing behind a counter all.on their cell phones completely ignoring us. We got up and walked out. Stay away if you are thinking this is good service we have traveled alot and this was by far the worst service ever.

My family came into the restaurant for an early dinner on the way back from the lake… we were served drinks immediately and then the waitress didn’t come back for 45 minutes…. My family is still in the restaurant…. I had to ask for the waitress to come back to our table to take our order. Then it took 45 minutes to get the food…. My food was cold.. I mean cold. Not like warm…. I told the waitress and told her to forget it and walked out. My wife and son were so hungry they stayed and ate their meal. Not sure if they charged me for my meal or not. They took the order of 3 other tables who got their food and ate it and left before we got our order taken. I am not a complainer but Holly smokes… my wife just came out and said they took my meal off and gave her a a 20% discount… not enough…

This was one of the worst meals of my life. I ordered a Cobb salad, poutine, pot roast and mushroom Swiss burger. The Cobb salad use deli meat instead of actual pieces of chicken/turkey Mac & cheese that I ordered with my pot roast was Kraft mac & cheese I had no idea a restaurant would dare to sell such a thing . Pot roast was overcooked and had no onion Tanglers. Burger was overcooked, bun was stale, and there was barely any mushrooms on the burger Protein had no gravy. It was cheese fries with bacon and they threw cheese curds in there. No balance just a big pile of grease Look at the photos. It's absurd I pickup my food and ate it within minutes of picking it up but they did make me wait for 15 minutes for my food to be ready and the guy was pretty rude This is cafeteria level food for 60 bucks with a 20% off coupon

Good meal. Service was quick and friendly. They also had a salad bar and soup area you could partake in, I believe for an upcharge. I got the Ribeye Bourbon Steak, and it was delicious! Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience today! Kyeleigh was my server and a delight! She was super friendly! My food was cooked too perfection and delicious! I even found a little heart speed shrimp on my plate! It's the little things that make me smile!

This place is disgusting to say the least. Stopped in for a birthday celebration at 4:30 pm on a Friday. Walked in with a party of 11. Stood at the podium to be seated for at least 5 minutes while the workers stared and whispered like they’d never seen people before. Finally someone asked how many of us and when we said 11 the panic set in again. They scurried away to clean and set tables. Keep in mind there was only 2 other patrons in the restaurant at the time. Why weren’t the tables already cleaned? Once seated we had our drink orders taken and delivered. Now we sat for at least a half hour to get our food orders taken. Placed our orders and waited another 45 minutes to get our food. We were all finished with our drinks by now and we’re not asked if we needed refills. All of our entrees were cold and not edible. Kraft Mac and cheese? What the heck?! Cold fries, cold and overcooked onion rings, limp lettuce and undercooked bacon. Add to this our waitress never asked questions like what sides we would like, what kind of bread for our sandwiches etc. By all appearances it looked like she rolled out of bed and came to work nursing a nasty hang over. $150 later we left with most of the food still on our plates. We are local and have frequented this establishment for many years, not sure what has happened but I would recommend you find somewhere else.

Waitres spilled my cheese curds and made the comment, well I guess I owe you, I was over charged for my meal and no credit for the missing cheese curds. They fixed my check and it was more that before. Tried it a second time and service was about the same and the waiter was plugging his other job to everyone he helped. The hot beef had the skin from the gravy in it and the beef was dry and over cooked. Had to ask for refills both times

This place serves very good Anerucan diner food. Nothing fancy but the portions are ample and the price is reasonable. This is our main place to eat when we're in Bemidji. The hours are great and so is the service.

Vibe of the place was great- good service & good music. Ordered the Blue Cheese Bacon. Amazing flavor but it was SO dry I could barely swallow the food. I will definitely give this place another try.

Quaint neighborhood bar. Had the classic cheeseburger added fried onions. It was a little dry also had their award-winning chili. It was OK but let’s be honest. Chili is kind of a personal thing. Everybody does it different.

EVERYONE who works there was polite,smiling, & very efficient & they were extremely busy! Wish I was a local, I would eat & drink here day and night! Unbelievable food & HAVE to try their BBQ sauce, you will want to buy the bottle! We had the award-winning chili and took home with us pulled pork, out of this world delicious! Cannot say enough about this place, I absolutely love it and the people who work there

This the best dive bar in bemidji! Always a good crowd, always great service. The Slim's burger is a simple burger but packs a mouthful of flavor.

Always leave positive reviews to support businesses - with that being said, our group was very disappointed with the service and quality of food received while visiting Slim’s. Immediately, you could sense they didn’t want people to come in, even though it was before 8:00pm. Took a very long time to get waited on to order. Food took unusually long to receive and portion sizes were small for the price. One guy in our group waited an hour to get his pizza, ultimately just getting it to go because everyone else had finished their food before his got to the oven. Not exaggerating! Understaffed and lack of care makes this a serve yourself establishment for everything - which is fine if that’s what they are going for. Wish our experience was different as we visit this area often.

Stopped in to Slims for a burger and and brew and on top of the food being great, the service was top notch. Owen and Addy were very attentive and very pleasant. Will definitely be back!

Great, affordable breakfast, but only on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Generous portions, cooked how we like it and attentive staff. I recommend it! *Update* Went for dinner the other day. Wait staff was still good. Food on the other hand was lacking. Their shredded pork melt tasted old and had a funky taste, very unappetizing. Their crinkle cut fries are great. The Minnesota cheesesteak was just ok. It’s basically pot roast with onions, mushrooms and something like Cheez Whiz. The meat portion was good but it was very stringy and a little tough to chew. It’s a very messy sandwich and falls apart as you eat it. I still recommend trying them but don’t expect anything amazing.

We were in the area and saw great reviews. The service was wonderful. The food was good, but sadly there is not a kids menu. The waffle fries are wonderful but it will be an upcharge for fries or waffle fries! Making their prices spendy! One plate did have a hair in it. Also, they put mayo on the wrap when it wasn’t stated on the menu. Not a good place for kids or families!

A great place to gather with friends for tasty food and your favorite drinks. The food is always good. They have daily lunch specials and some unique and flavorful menu items. Try the wonton-wrapped deep fried pickles as an appetizer. On my most recent visit, I appreciated that I could order something high in protein and low in carbs, as shown in my photo. They seem quite open to substitutions and special requests.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, food was amazing and plentiful (cheese steak and deep fried pickle things YUM). It was a fairly busy lunch rush with one server, she had a smile on the whole time and was on top of her game. Great atmosphere too.

Burgers were cooked perfectly medium. The tater tots were super crispy and the shrimp was delicious. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Great place to eat great food!

Nice little bar close to the Fairgrounds. Highly recommend the deep fried pickles! We will be going back when in the area again! Close to the dog show.

Enjoyed the atmosphere. Is conveniently located just off hwy 71 going north. Close to the ski resort for winter activities and lakes. Far enough out of Bemidji that the vibe is more country. Bar and grill feel with bar centralized and variety of bar paraphernalia. Have a menu with burgers, sandwiches, wraps. And appetizers. Staff was friendly and served us quickly. Have a variety of drink options: soda, beers, liquors, hard seltzer and some wine options.

We were searching for a place with food and drinks that was open on a Sunday night. This place checked both boxes. The steak bites appetizer was delicious and the $8.50 (!) pitcher of Nordeast came in chilled glasses. Decent selection of menu items and super friendly staff. Looks like a great place to watch a game.

The poppers, fries , curds and mushroom burger were pretty good. The breaded cauliflower was unseasoned sadly. Server was super nice. Decent for the prices especially

I love dive bars and this is no exception. Service was good, fast, polite. The wings were very good, but ridiculously overpriced, 6 mid-sized wings for $14. They could use some new TV's, but I would come here again, just won't be eating, not worth it.

The drinks are strong so that is awesome. My California Burger was literally raw on the inside and crusty on the outside so that is not awesome.

Buffalo wings with the “special sauce”, perfect blend of everything. Chicken drummies were crisp and flavorful! Juice the bartender is pretty dang awesome.

Very homely (British definition) and simple, not very big and having staffing troubles (like many places in 2020-2022) but the appetizers are to die for. The fried pickles, cheese curds, and the fried Mac and Cheese bits are superb. If you’re visit Bemidji, and this place is open, it’s immediately a must try for your group of friends.

I would expect this to be a much better place during hockey season. Too bad the food isn’t better to make up for that! Our party had a couple of wraps and a burger, and it was average at best.

We had gone to North Shore Grille last summer and were so impressed with the quality and taste of the food, we were excited to come back. In particular the prime rib dinner last year was some of the best I have ever had. So I called ahead to make sure it was prime rib night. We brought two other couples along to treat. As it turns out we were all mostly disappointed. Three of us ordered the king size prime rib, as we did last year. When it came out the portion was so small, I asked the waitress how many ounces it was supposed to be. She said 16oz. No way was this small cut anywhere close to the 16 oz size we got last year. She also said it looked smaller than normal to her. She said she would ask the chef for us, which she never did. Also, the augratin potatoes last year were so soft and creamy. This year, the potatoes were quite hard, like they were undercooked, and topped with bread crumbs that had a somewhat overpowering herbal flavor. Definitely not a favorite. The almond Parmesan crusted walleye was pretty good, as was the deep fried and broiled walleye. The only disappointment was the number of bones that were found. We ordered several different desserts and we were pleased with our choices. Overall, if this would have been my first time coming, we would never have returned. Especially for the price we were charged for a small, very fatty prime rib. After being excited to come, it was very much a disappointment. I don't know if they are buying lesser quality food or if the cook is a different cook than last summer, but there is definitely a huge difference from before.

I had their peanut butter- jelly- bacon cheeseburger and it was sooooo good ! Don't knock it till you try it .. the walleye was really well done - not greasy .. the services was spot on .

1 of my top 5 best burgers ever! The "fridge". I am SUPER PICKY with my burgers because I like them rare. It was cooked perfectly and the flavor was phenomenal! Husband had the fish tacos and they too were excellent. Service was awesome.

Wife and I ordered walleye plate .Walleye was dry and fishy tasting. WE KNOW OUR WALLEYE and I believe it was not. For $60.00 total, it was a rip-off. No flavor whatsoever. Never to return.

I had the parmesan almond crusted Walleye dinner, and it was not good at all. The walleye tasted like it was soaked in water and had no flavor at all. The best part of my meal was the house salad it came with.

Food and drinks took an incredibly long time with low table counts and several servers, our server forgot our salads, brought us the wrong drinks, and the walleye had a "fishy" taste like it had been in the fridge too long.

The peppered naan was wonderful, the view is amazing and now we are going to golf. Great day.

Out of ham. Odd when you slogan literally says, “We have the meats!” Sat at the drive thru for 5 minutes with no response till I yelled “hello!” Proceeded to take my order 3 different times. Asked me to stop saying my order because she was helping another customer. Sitting in the drive thru typing this, fingers crossed food is good!

I saw 2 people working. 2!! One was doing the orders and the other was cooking; a well oiled machine! The food was hot, fresh and delicious! The guy running the front counter was calm and very friendly! GREAT job fellas! 👏🏼

Went through the drivethrough, the lady who took our order was so friendly. I ran inside to wash my hands and it was very clean. Food was hot and delicious 😋

That's probably the worst meal I've had in a long time the fries were cold and tasted like stale oil the quarter pound roast beef with cheese on it was terrible my dog won't even eat it

Ordered the 5pc spicy tender meal which came out to be 6 tiny-seasoned boneless pieces of chicken that were dry. Looked nothing like the menu picture. The prices are too high at Hardees for low quality food and service.

Staff is friendly and well kept for a Hardee's! Tables and floors are kept clean and bathrooms are really nice as well. Definitely stop by as this location is very well kept. Plenty of seating inside as well. I'll definitely make this a stop for lunch occasionally when I'm in the area.

Decent burgers and fries. Kind of overpriced for mediocre food and they don’t give a lot of fries. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was fairly clean. It’s worth a visit.

Fast, friendly service. They bring your order to your table. A variety of beverages to choose from, also sauces. Has always been clean. Big parking lot, room for oversized vehicles. Handicapped accessible parking and bathrooms. Finally, big burgers!

Hardee's big chicken fillet sandwich was excellent. It is made with fresh delicious tomatoes and lettuce, and a hint of honey. The onion rings at Hardee's are the best fast-food onion rings in town. Last week I had the fish sandwich. It was not excellent but it was good. They should add cornmeal and chill power to the breading and fry in hotter oil. If you ask for ketchup tell them how much you want. If you don't they will give you enough ketchup to paint the barn red. While it is good to have a red barn, I shop for paint at Sears. They have better paint.
